hey guys today is day 51 of my juice fast in I am doing the damn thing with
flying colors I feel great today I got up at 4 o'clock
this morning and I did my squats because I just incorporated those in my cycling
I worked out a total of 2 hours between doing squats which only take 15 minutes
because I'm doing I'm only doing 50 sets on my side of my butt and then the back
on each cheek so basically 5050 100 sets on one cheek
and then a hundred on the other and that takes not even 10-15 minutes I am going
to up the sets I usually and have in the past up my
sets to a hundreds I think it was a hundred or two hundred sets for the side
two hundred sets for the back and side back you know on each cheek um but I'm
gonna up it at least to a hundred from the side the back the side the back on
each cheek and I will be doing that when I lose a little bit more pounds because
it just makes it a little bit easier as you lose weight to do some of the
workouts that are new to the body just like when I am started working out on
the bike I could only do 200 I'm sorry not 200 two hours pedaling away when I
was at my max weight which was excellent but I can do for hours easily long as
I'm looking at maybe movie on TV listening to music something that's
gonna knock you pon my time I basically can pedal away for hours you know
which is a good thing and that's a low intensity workout and like I always tell
people do what you can commit to for the long haul don't try to do if you're not
if you do Zumba and you had a difficult time doing it for you um it's not gonna
work for you that 20% that you need to put in besides we all know it's what you
put in your mouth first but that 20% that basically arm you know
is is toning and reshaping the body if you can't commit to that 20% exercise
that you'll have to do incorporating with your weight loss regiment um then
you need to find something that fits for you and you can't listen to people
telling you well why are you doing that that's you're never gonna see results
with that you have to do what works for you just like with the juice fast I just
um and I wish I would have done this from the beginning just incorporated
miso soup um you can get the vegetable version of miso soup I don't care if you
get the vegetable or the regular miso soup a lot of Asian cuisines are so
savory that it's almost like eating a meal and it's only meats miso soup and a
majority of uh miso soup is nothing but water
it's the flavorings that pop that nourish the body and make you feel like
you ate a meal I wish that I had incorporated miso soup from the
beginning of my 51 days because um last week I started not straining double
straining my juice
so my juices felt like they were smoothies to a juicer a person that's a
juicer you're not a juicer it but it would be feeling like you
drinking juice but you know if it works for you stick with it if it's not broke
don't try to fix it and I notice that my weight loss had slowed down I weigh in
every Sunday and my numbers have been low so the last couple of days I've been
making sure that my juice is strained I also incorporated some broth which is a
miso soup that is my my choice in a broth because I needed to have something
warm and savory in my daily routine of what I nursed my body with so I could
stay on the fast longer because I'm thinking about going for 90 days I
really truly need to get rid of all of this weight last night it was kind of
weird I didn't go into deep a deep sleep I did sleep but it wasn't a really deep
deep sleep I did notice that of course my sleep is improving so much
because usually when I close my eyes and it's dark in the room and I can't sleep
I automatically put on the internet and I'm just surfing around until I get
tired and sometime I don't even go to sleep and the next morning comes but I
did have a light sleep and I did get up four o'clock this morning with a lot of
energy I didn't feel tired I didn't look tired
I felt energized like I did have a deep sleep but I know what a deep sleep feels
like because I've been having many of those days now that I've been juicing
just like I know what natural energy like when I was a child or a teenager I
know what that feels like because I've been feeling for 51 days energetic so
you know that's not a bad deal when you can say you still slept eight hours but
it wasn't a deep sleep but she still was well rested in the
morning time I can live with that because before the 51 days when I would
say I didn't sleep I really truly did not sleep so I can definitely live with
you know with with that so I just wanted to make a live podcast today because I'm
going to start doing that every morning and every night if I start to feel tired
at night I probably will do the live podcast before the time that I allotted
I usually do a live podcast between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 Eastern Standard Time the
latest if I'm winding down early I will do the podcast early that's why I say
between 5:00 and 7:00 Eastern Standard Time I'm kind of sort of loving doing
the podcast today I will be doing a live video and you will see me in the video
and I just want to remind you that you know tune in tomorrow because tomorrow
is always the fun day the date everyone is waiting for every week which is the
way in how many pounds I lost you know I did lose some weight this week as I had
lose every week and that comes hand in hand when you're doing the juice fast
it's not gonna be a week that you don't lose any weight we're on a regular diet
um that you might call yourself on or something that you pay for like a Jenny
Craig or Weight Watchers or maybe just a at-home diet that you put together
yourself it's not always promised that you're going to lose weight it's
basically the luck of the draw but when you're doing the juice fasts you
typically lose you got seven days ice for me anyways where I weigh myself in
you're gonna lose at least a pound you know so hopefully the skill does
good by me the last couple of days I've been really good yesterday I've been
really good like I said I've been straining my juice and today I'm going
to make a juice and this is gonna have a few ingredients because for number one I
want to get rid of my kale that I bought fresh the other day it's kind of getting
kind of well tea still nice and green um but I want to juice it before the
nutrients dies from the leafy green the base of all my juices our celery always
in dandelion greens fresh dandelion greens so I'm gonna have that in that so
I have kale celery dandelion green because the celery and the dandelion
greens are the base of all of my juices because all of my juices are always
green juices and the dandelion leaf in particular I use because I'm a advocate
of water retention and how to control it naturally just like the water salt water
flush another natural natural excuse me a way to regulate the water in your body
is a salt water flush dandelion salad you know I'm just making a list of
things that you can use from nature that work for me and I know can work for you
if it can work for me it definitely can work for you because water retention was
an issue with my me and it has been even when I was small skinny whatever you
want to call it not overweight but to find even if it's four or five natural
products that you can get from nature not even in the bottle I'm all for that
so far I can think of the the dandelion greens and the salt water flush um those
are my top go-to to regulate the water way in my body and it's working and you
know I'm incorporating a lot of sea salt not sea salt I hate sea salt and that
was an insult to even have that come out my mouth but um pink Colleen salt
I live by that and that's the main ingredient obviously in a salt water
flush because all it is and the salt water flush is pink laying salt for me
and in water purified water I'm sorry I'm sitting here trying to multitask I'm
not doing a good job at that so tomorrow like I said Sunday is way in
don't forget to be there be there or be square
I do my live podcasts the first one early in the morning when I'm doing a
salt water flush yesterday a few times I had to pause and go to the ladies room
let's say because I had to you know do what I had to do but um hopefully it's
not that many times today that I have to tell you guys to hold on for a second
I'll be right back but you know this is the time that I do my salt with a flush
so I'm trying to multitask so that's that's just what it is you know
multitasking hey girl was good with you you are you off today miss putting your
mind to it are you off today or do you have to work I think I know the answer
to that you have to right Friday Saturday and Sunday they
usually give you the sucky hours at Walmart there's someone who's a friend
of mine that's in the chat we talked off of YouTube
we talked for hours we became really good friends and she's in the chat this
morning and go check out our channel she has her little friend her guinea pig
Jojo and she does excellent videos and she also has a family channel with her
grandchildren and nieces and nephews she does excellent content and she uploads
every day so you'll never get bored because she'll always have something for
you and it's nice to see in the chat putting your mind to it that's the name
of her channel I'm glad she stopped by and stuff make sure you stop by Sunday
sometime in the morning time I will be doing my weigh-in video I don't know how
much I lost this week but uh I lost a few pounds so I'm gonna report that on
Sunday putting your mind to it so make sure you tune in to that video you said

say you was gonna come into one of my chats and you damn sure came into this
one when you're gonna start a juice fast with me putting your mind to it

I'm trying and stuff yes so today I'm going to be making another juice I
really don't need to juice any more juice for another day but I want to get
rid of the kale and I also want to use some of my dandelion grass I mean not
grass dandelion greens and this what did she say I won't be eating food for maybe
another what is it another maybe I got 9 more days before 60 days so I might not
be eating no food for another 39 days putting your mind to it yes I probably
won't be eating I just decided because I just found me some miso soup it's an
Asian soup that they sell in sushi restaurants it's a hot soup and it's
just water in like a thin broth but it's real savory and if I can stick to
drinking that for like a lunch and dinner having something hot so it you
know replaces you know the the meals that are missing the hot meals I can I
can actually probably stay on it for another 39 days no more than a hundred
days by then I should have it you know as far as the weight loss that should be
all set you know max 100 days and if I ain't cool keep include in that miso
soup which is a heart nice savory salty soup I'll be able to stay on it for as
long as I need to to lose the last of this weight I'm not trying to do this no
more this weight loss thing I just want to get it out the way and then I'll
still be doing my juicing the after but I will be incorporating solid foods
I don't know 60 to 90 maybe a hundred days I'll start incorporating food again
and I'll keep my juices um you know in in my meals you know I'll never take
them out I'll just make sure every couple of days I have a fresh couple of
mason jars of juice so I can drink the juices in place of soda or juice or
anything else that I was drinking beside water and I replace it with my juices
yeah this is a lifestyle change putting your mind to it I'm gonna continue to
juice even after I get back on solid foods I'm trying to get off that anxiety
medication that I'm on that's the only medication I'm taking and I want to get
off that I don't want that to control my life anymore but um guys I'm going to
juice some strawberries the whole thing I'm just gonna juice the whole thing of
strawberries today last night I checked my peers I got some
brown pears you guys know the name of the pears put it in the chat or put it
in the comment section but I call them Brown peers they were tender then they
should be tender definitely by today so I'm probably gonna incorporate those in
to my juice and some lime juice I love lime juice and I haven't had
anything lined like in a couple of days I kind of like put that on hold because
I was using raw honey and or raw sugar it was just it was my go-to juice one
when I wanted to have a cheat day and all it was as natural is just fruit
juice that I freshly squeezed so today I'm gonna make a different kind of juice
and you know taste a different combination today one thing I do
recommend that everyone does is always remember that you got to switch up your
juices it is smart to keep them basic one or two items but then when you start
to you know as time goes on you get more experience with different flavors that
pair well you need to change up the juices because you don't want anything
that's going to set you to stop thinking that you miss food or you or make
yourself believe that you're hungry on a juice fast you do not be hungry after a
couple of days everyone's different for me it was three days I know someone had
said in one of my my juicing groups it was three days for her and some and then
someone else has said five days so everyone's body is different but it your
body it takes a few days to UM adapt to the change that you only drink in
liquids but the whole 51 days I haven't been hungry and this is the only reason
why I have been able to not eat solid I mean this is this is the reason why I
haven't I have been able to not eat solid foods because I haven't been
hungry and if you can get on the scale because I log every day if I lost weight
because I'm doing an experiment of myself of what works and this is the
greatest experiment I could have ever did because it's a healthy experiment
I'm giving myself a weight loss routine I don't like to call the diet that is
nutritious for the body this is the best thing you can do to your body
this is the best nutrients from this diet or regiment as I like to call it
where you're feeding your body nutrients I'm not going to CVS or Walgreens a GNC
buying nutrients in a bottle and it's synthetic vitamin C and vitamin D and
vitamin B and vitamin K and vitamin D I'm getting the nutrients from fruit
base produce from the supermarket my body is getting the nutrients from
fruit base nutrients from the fruits and the vegetables right from the
supermarket I'm juicing them and drinking them and my body is absorbing a
hundred percent of all the vitamins and minerals that are in fruits and
vegetables and that is why I'm not hungry
I can stand behind that you can be on a liquid diet as people call it if you're
doing something like a fresh juice fast with fresh vegetables 80 percent and 20
percent arm fruits because it's not gonna work if you do all fruit juice you
have to get the vital nutrition nutrition from the vegetables the green
leafy the greenness of the green leafy is vegetables that's where all the
nutrients and the minerals and all the vitamins are at and kale spinach collard
greens mustard greens they might be bitter but that's where that 20% of the
fruit comes in you can offset it by making it a little sweet and a little
tangy you know some people don't even keep up a little tang with this you know
lime in the lemon I do I like my drinks to be a little bitter a little tangy and
a little sweet so that's how I make my juices my mouth is watering right now
but I won't be having the juice um until another half an hour to an hour and
maybe even longer cuz I have to juice my three day batch and I want to have a new
juice so I want one of my three day batches I'll make I'll drink one of
those today from my new juice that I'll make for the three days but I still have
enough juice for today but I want to taste the new juice so what I'll do is
I'll swap out one of the juices that I would drink today and I'll drink that
one tomorrow because that's the older juice but it'll definitely be polished
off um no later than tomorrow because you
should only you should only juice for three days really I see people on
using groups they juice for like maybe five or six days I guess it depends on
how busy your schedule is you might have to juice a lot longer in advance but
they say that juice juicing fresh juice only lasses where the nutrients is still
in the juice three days but you know what if people are juicing up to six
days fresh juice is better than no juice at all or better than buying that
store-bought arm what do they call it um pasteurized juice and listen don't get
me wrong I still drink pasteurized juice because before I discovered I always
knew about miso soup but I it took me 50 it took me not know actually 49 days to
say hey I can have miso soup um it's just a broth in my arm juice fast and
but I'm gonna tell you before the miso hot soup I had a pasteurized juice that
I incorporated during the day with my juices and it was Clemente oh it's a
Spanish tomato juice and I used to drink that for my savory juice but it was a
cold juice souls like I still wasn't getting what I wanted from that juice
because there's nothing like a savory hot something and if I had to choose
between that tomato juice which is savory because I put sriracha hot sauce
in it with the option to put extra arm pink : salt if I felt like I needed
something really salty but I didn't I would put fresh lime juice and lemon
juice or one or the other with Sriracha hot sauce and that was very savory but I
find that the miso soup is savory and it uh it makes me I'm never hungry but it
doesn't make me crave like what I'm looking at my mukbang
eating show videos it doesn't make me crave for that that uh salty taste it I
can last a little bit longer it's almost like the same concept like with people
who are vegans and they say that they like to eat a lot of avocados because
the proteins it's very high in protein and in it it keeps you satiated for
longer periods of time so that you're not overeating or eating too much of
stuff throughout the day because you feel hungry so I ordered me some miso
soup off Amazon it's much cheaper to do it that way and I think I'm gonna like
it better because it's a paste so the pace is gonna be more concentrated than
the dry instant me so this is still instant because all you do is you add
the paste to hot water and instantly you've made me so soup so I'm looking
forward to getting the miso soup I can't wait for it to come and basically I'll
be having that for some of my lunches and I say some of my lunches cuz some
days I might not want any um savory hot soup I might just want to have a juice I
still have a juice around lunchtime anyways because I'm drinking juice all
through the day but I'm saying as far the savory I might not want like around
noontime one o'clock or two a soup but it's still where I'm at cold like today
we just had yesterday at East nor Easter which was a scary windy rainstorm that I
had to go out into because I had to go pay my rent I had to go to the bank but
it was cold rain and that miso soup came in time just in time so you know it's
still kind of cold here and I've been for almost almost 51 days because the
last three or four days I've been having the
hot miso soup but I started my juice fast January 11 so basically it was
wintertime it's probably easier to do a juice fast in the summertime so if I
ever gain weight in the summertime which I normally don't because in the
summertime we don't even eat as much because it's too hot juice fast is gonna
be a breeze for me if I ever have to you know um stop eating solid foods and just
incorporate juice in one Sal of the day I can I can do that I can do that
because it's summertime if I did it in the winter time if I started the juice
fast in the winter time then uh a juice fast in the summer time is is a cakewalk
so that's how I look at it I was trying to get some people over here I don't
know what's going on YouTube is a canned real funny I think that if I keep not
YouTube I'm sorry Facebook I think that if I keep trying to get people I mean
put the link in my live link you know then I'll probably okay I just tested
the link I'll to make sure so have you seen it heard the echo that was because
I was just testing the link but I think if I keep trying to put that link over
here it's probably not going to - it's probably face book is probably gonna
give me a hard time with posting but I'm gonna try it one more time and if I have
to be put on pause from facebook from posting then oh well I'm not spamming my
arm juice and groups love the fact that I give update videos you know so let's
try it again

okay guys I'm back I'm sorry doing that salt water flush roof I did kind of good
the last time I had a live podcast I had to say excuse me a few times but nobody
was in the chat think thank the Lord for that but um either way I'm a small
Channel so usually when I'm chatting away there's nobody in the chat for the
most part because I'm a small Channel and it's gonna take me time to get page
Authority and for youtube to start suggesting my videos I'm quite sure
there's a lot of things that happen behind the scenes for videos that you
know people who upload videos for them to get them to stop getting views right
right away to them so you know it's gonna take me I started this channel
August 2017 what is this March April May June July August
I got another five months ago to put in work you know some channels they blow up
in two three months but I'm not one of those channels I never been that lucky
and that's okay because I might have to put in a year
before I start seeing results and I will blow up um probably even bigger than
those channels that got lucky you know anything easy getting is not worth
having that's how I look at it I want to fight have a little struggle you know
cuz then you know you appreciate it better this juice fast was a struggle
because even if I didn't feel hungry you know what's so crazy about this whole
thing you still will convince yourself you
hungry you'll still look at these eating shows with people eating foods and make
yourself hungry not the hungry will you start getting your stop
makes growling and you start getting those signals those kind of signals but
you start convincing yourself well I've been you know on it for this long so
it's not gonna hurt if I did order me a pizza or if I go to that Korean fried
chicken spot that I'm gonna be going to when I get off of this fast that's
another thing I have to really gradually if I stay on it longer which I am I'm
going into 60 days so that's out the window staying on it longer I'm going to
have to start incorporating if I decide to do 90 days which I am it's not that
nothing deciding I just loved this I love the thrill of challenging myself
it's not about you guys it's about if I can help you guys um along the way and
and get to where I'm at then that's great that's a great great thing because
I'm still gonna be doing these videos even after my success I want to see
other people's success I want to hear about your stories I care about what you
guys have to say you know but um I am basically you know I'm not giving up
this journey too easily and even when this journey of just all juice no solid
foods is over I'm still going to be on the journey because my journey is going
to be going on to the day it's time for me to leave this earth I have committed
to a lifestyle change of that I'm going to incorporate juices fresh juices in my
life that's why this is the trial and error period this is when I can make
mistakes on juices and I know what juice is to pair with what and how long to
keep a juice in the refrigerator before it goes bad and start to taste
and horrible so that when I get off of this journey and this reboot of my body
I can make my juices taste like something from the Cheesecake Factory
like some fruity cocktail with no alcohol in it you know I'm so excited
today I have a few juice I'm like I'm making one juice but I have
a few ingredients that are going to go in the juice and I just can't wait to
pair them I will be putting my juice recipe for today that I make on to my
juicing group juicing for health and I'll also put it on my juice on my
Facebook page to the juice and recipe if you guys want to make that juice today
