Number 10 was Submitted by piggy_master64 SweetCommando

When SweetCommando was in 7th grade, he liked a girl who was on his mind all the time.

His friend told him one day that his crush said whoever ate the most worms would be her

boyfriend.

SweetCommando accepted the challenge.

After 5 minutes, SweetCommando had eaten 59 worms.

After he was done, he asked her, "does this mean we're boyfriend and girlfriend?"

She said "HELL NO!"

And then she kicked me SweetCommando in the nuts and walked away.

Two days later, she started dating his friend.

Number 9 was Submitted by kandy_kahleesi Slapped Ham

Slapped Ham did two different pretty desperate things for two different girls he was trying

to impress.

Once he had a crush on a huge anime fan, so he decided to make a bento box for her.

She a ppreciated the effort... but Slapped Ham didn't really know what he was doing,

so she got sick from food poisoning.

The other girl was one he'd known since third grade.

She really liked birds, so on her birthday, Slapped Ham decided to cover himself in feathers

and make a 'sexy' bird call.

And he did it in the middle of lunch at school... so he embarrassed himself in front of the

entire freshman class.

Number 8 was Submitted by phasebIaze Pringle Once he got to 5th grade, Pringle decided

that he was going to get a girlfriend.

But he didn't really like any girls except for one, but he was too scared to just ask

her out.

He knew she really liked puppies so he decided to make her one out of fabric since he knew

how to sew fairly well.

Pringle stuffed it with little beads instead of cotton, then sewed it together and added

a heart.

With Valentine's Day coming up, he decided that would be the day to give it to her.

When Pringle got to school, he took it out and gave it to her.

She called Pringle UGLY, and then cut open the puppy with her scissors spilling thousands

of the little beads everywhere.

Pringle found out later she had a type of autism that made her react strangely when

she gets surprised or overwhelmed.

Pringle spent the rest of the day cleaning it up.

Back in 6th grade, Ladybot's school had a really tall jungle gym.

During recess, Ladybot told her friends to lead her in front of the jungle gym.

Ladybot climbed up to the top and shouted to her, "I will do a backflip for you my

love!"

Ladybot did the backflip, and landed on her face, breaking her arm and nose.

They did end up dating though, so... worth it?

Number 6 was Submitted by ClaraTheDemonFox Spincess

When Spincess was in kindergarten, she had a huge crush on a boy named Tolop.

She had her mom put her long hair into a cute style, and put on a cute dress for school.

She made a knitted rose for him, and placed it on his desk before class.

He saw it and shoved it in his book bag.

At recess, Spincess followed Tolop around but eventually tripped and fell.

He immediately came running over to help.

So the next day, she had the idea that if she kept falling down in front of him, he'd

keep coming to help her.

It worked for a while, but eventually, he caught on and just asked Spincess if she liked

him.

She said yes, and it was mutual, but eventually she ended up going to a different school.

They still talk, though.

Number 5 was Submitted by bosscat2327 Cid In 4th grade, Cid liked a girl a lot, but

she already had a boyfriend.

Not knowing how to impress her, he suggested they play a game with a skipping rope.

So Cid tried to impress her by spinning around with his eyes closed, spinning the skipping

rope around like a chain.

But Cid went too fast and lost control.

He ended up smacking her with the rope, giving her a big red mark on her leg.

She was obviously upset, and told him right there that she would not be his girlfriend.

She at least offered to still be friends.

Number 4 was Submitted by Jirian_TheOrginial SpinalPalm

When SpinalPalm was in the 8th grade, a new kid named Princess Proton came to his school.

During lunch one day, he sat down and started chatting with her.

She said that she liked strong men, and in particular one huge kid named Hellbent.

Hellbent was absolutely ripped, to the point where SpinalPalm assumed he must be on steroids

or something.

But SpinalPalm was determined to impress Princess Proton, so he got up, walked over to Hellbent,

tapped him on the back, and sucker punched him.

He pushed Hellbent onto a table until the teachers came to separate them.

SpinalPalm got suspended for two days, but Princess Proton ended up dating him for 3

years.

Of course, Hellbent still goes to his school, so SpinalPalm ALWAYS has to make sure to watch

his back.

Number 3 was Submitted by kaiforthewin Doopie The most desperate thing Doopie ever did was

launch herself out of her chair and start dancing around the classroom, serenading her

crush on Valentines Day.

Her teacher actually helped her set it up.

Her cue was for the teacher to make a comment about quickly serenading your Valentine.

Doopie didn't end up getting together with her crush... but she WAS called a rock star

for the rest of the school year.

She doesn't even have a good singing voice.

Number 2 was Submitted by KiroSan1 Zaraganba Zaraganba had just gotten into a new school,

and as he was walking into the classroom, he saw a cute girl.

After a few months of school, Zaraganba got to know her a little better and decided to

ask her out.

And he decided the best way to do that was to create a scavenger hunt for her.

He spent hours trying to come up with clever riddles and clues to help her along.

He left notes scattered around the classroom and sure enough, she found them.

Finally she found the last clue, which said, "Congratulations you have found all three

clues, now is it safe to say which answer you will choose?''

Zaraganba went up to her at that point and asked her out.

She turned him down flat, and he became the laughing stock of the school for the entire

four years he was there.

Dr. Richard Lewis: We get a lot a new patients coming in to our office who are very curious

about having their teeth moved but do not want to show metal.

And they've heard about Invisalign but don't really understand it.

And they said, 'What is it in a nutshell?'

Well in a nutshell, it's a modern technology that will move teeth very easily without the

use of elastics or metal braces.

Invisalign consists of a series of clear retainers or E-liners that each will move the teeth

a very little bit.

These invisible retainers slip over the teeth like a glove.

You wear them for about a week each and then discard them.

At the end of a period of time, each tooth will have made a micro movement directed by

the aligners.

And at the end of treatment, people will have that beautiful balanced, glowing smile that

they've always wanted.

Another question that people ask us routinely is, 'If I enter into doing Invisalign, how

long does this process take?'

And we usually answer by saying that, 'The average case, the average treatment period

is nine months.'

With that rule of thumb, I would add or subtract three months in either direction.

And you have a fairly accurate idea of how long Invisalign takes to use.

The key to success with this, is to wear your plates as directed.

And we like to have people wear your aligners all day long except when you're eating.

Canary View and Canary All-in-One Compared: Which one should you buy? + GIVEAWAY - Duration: 5:10.

This is a $99 indoor home security camera, and this is a

169 dollar camera, which one should you buy?

If you haven't already guessed today,

my friends, is all about canary. So much has changed with canary that I decided it was time to take a fresh look.

Instead of dwelling on what's changed. Hint: some good some bad. We're gonna

take a fresh look at the new and cheaper canary view as compared to the original canary all in one. And yes,

I have two views. One I'm keeping and one I'm giving away. Canary provided both of these views for testing,

but I hope it goes without saying at this point in time that you will get my unfiltered opinion regardless.

So let's compare. Canary view isn't meant to replace canary all in one it's meant to supplement it

It's an indoor camera that works using the same app as all in one and flex. Though its supplemental, if you're anything like me,

you're probably wondering if all-in-one is worth the extra 70 bucks

or if you should stick with view. Though view and all in one looked nearly identical there are differences between the two

First, view is lighter in weight and grey in color. All in one is either black or white

Second, all in one is wireless, but you can use Ethernet

where view is Wi-Fi only. You'll also notice that all in one has a tiny port next to the Ethernet port

which was used during setup on older all-in-ones.

Newer all in ones and View both use Bluetooth for set up. Next, all in one has a siren and home health sensors

However I'm not convinced these two features are necessary for home security. For example, the siren doesn't automatically sound. Instead, if you get a notification,

you swipe to open, and you can choose to manually trigger the siren or call the local authorities.

Home health sensors are more useful as they can send alerts if the temperature or humidity

level in your home swings too high or too low, but is that necessary for home security?

Probably not.

But without these features Canary View loses eligibility for insurance

discounts. How the two cameras work with Google Home is the final difference. You can ask all-in-one for temperature and humidity info,

but if you own view you can only ask, "hey Google ask canary who's here."

Canary also works with echo show, echo spot, fire TV, and Wink.

Other than that, you can't tell the difference between the two. Both cameras record in 1080p at 30 frames per second using a

147 degree field of view

Unfortunately, you can't turn the IR LEDs on and off.

Fortunately, unless you want to record through a window

I don't know why you'd want to. If you want to compare Canary's video quality to nest cam, logi circle, arlo q, and Amazon

Cloud cam I'll link to a comparison I did in January below you can check that out.

If you decide to use view and all-in-one together, you can add them to the same location or

multiple locations. If you tie the cameras to the same location you can swap back and forth between feeds.

Unfortunately, this means double the load time. There's no way to stream multiple cameras at the same time,

Regarding home security both cameras protect using a motion sensor backed by several smart features including person detection

I'm on the fence about calling Canary's person detection feature

person detection because you can't choose to only receive personal person alerts or only receive motion alerts.

Instead, the feature seems to be tied more to Canary's ability to adjust motion sensitivity.

According to canary, a setting of three or lower means that canary will only notify you when it detects a person in its view. I

tested at a higher sensitivity level and had some false alarms before adjusting to Canary's recommendation of below

three, which worked well.

I accredit this success more to Canary's ability to learn than its ability to detect a person. Other free smart features include

masking, geofencing, an iPhone widget, video push notifications, and modes, including a scheduled night mode

Geofencing is tied to canary modes, and it's a must in my book. Canary offers it but doesn't deliver.

Over the past several months, I found that canary all-in-one struggles to detect my presence and

View seeing as it's tied to the same location isn't performing any better. The final free feature is cloud storage.

Canary will store 30-second clips for up to 24 hours. If you want to keep a clip longer,

you can bookmark it. If you want full length clips or the ability to download and share videos, you need a canary membership

which adds two-way audio, web portal access, an extended device warranty, custom modes, and access to a 30 day video history.

So which camera should you choose?

For most users,

I recommend view over all in one. If you're an all-in-one user and want another camera, adding a view is the way to go. If you

want a View, you can buy one using the link below or maybe you will win one.

Are heat treatments safe? - Duration: 8:05.

Hey Mike With Rove pest control here, and it's really with a heavy heart that I need to talk about this video today

There's actually a really big tragedy in the pest control industry as a whole and you know an elderly

woman was actually killed

From the direct result of an improper heat treatment in their home, and so today's video

I just really want to talk about our heat treatment safe

Can you use them in your home and what should you do about it?

If you have a heat treatment in your home so again stay tuned and we'll talk about that today

Now again

It's very unfortunate that this incident occurred and that that elderly woman did pass away

From this heat treatment now the really unfortunate thing is that it didn't need to happen because with proper

Treatment following the right guidelines a heat treatment can be completely safe in your home

And so one thing to really research and find out before you have a heat treatment in your home

Is is the pest control company trained in that?

Service where again it might seem like just something simple that they can add on to what they do

But it does take a lot of training the heat technicians need to know what to do before during and after

To make sure that the structure stays safe the home stays safe the things that are in your home

Don't get damaged the homeowners are safe pets are safe

there's a lot of you know things that need to be taken place in advance during and after to protect you and your

Belongings now unfortunately in this incident. That was not the case they didn't inform the the homeowners

Specific safety issues and things to follow

And that's what again tragically led to this death from this heat treatment now again

What a heat treatment is what it we do is. We'll take

Heaters and heat up the overall temperature in the room. That's being affected by the pass

To a level that the pest can survive now. This is very safe when followed correctly

Because it does evolve

potentially harmful chemicals being used

Again, he just heats the room up to a temperature where the pest can survive

but then you know as long as you have the

Belongings that aren't going to melt in that room as long as you're not necessarily hanging out in that room or the home

After a few hours your home can be completely safe to enter and again and again relatively

It's a lot safer than some of the other options now

Why people in general might think that chemical treatments in general aren't safe but more often than not?

It's just how they're applied and where they're used again that creates any type of safety issues so again

You really want to make sure that your pest control company if you hire one knows their stuff

Because improper use of chemical treatments I can lead to issues as well now typically a company won't

Strictly just use heat treatment. They'll kind of use a combination a little bit of product as well as the heat treatment

Again the heat treatment is the main focus that they use but again

it's more so the proper placement where some of the concerns come in with chemical treatments is putting them on things that I

Shouldn't have chemicals on them so for example

Maybe electronics or bedding or clothing and but those things still can be affected by past bedbugs

roaches various things like that so

in combination with those product treatments and the heat treatment and can do a good job of

eliminating those pest issues another

Concern that sometimes comes in with the product used and the chemical type of treatments is that?

Bedbugs for example are continually becoming more and more resistant to these type of treatments

So it's not as effective work and a heat treatment heat up to the room to the point where those pests can't survive

It does a good job of getting rid of them, so it's a beneficial way a safer way when the proper

Instructions are followed so again unfortunately what happened in this instance the pest control company didn't really

Explain the proper procedure to this elderly woman where you typically what will happen is with again

They'll heat up the room to a very high temperature where certainly wouldn't want to be in the room

But that can also impact the house as a whole where overall that specific room might have been well over

130 degrees which obviously you wouldn't want to hang out in there, but if you have specific health issues

Maybe you're elderly like in this case with this woman

I can heat the rest of the house so as a whole overall the house might have been sitting around

95 degrees which certainly is a lot cooler than that 130 140. Whatever the case might have been

So it might have felt cool where she was throughout the house, but again as an elderly person

Or if you had specific health issues or concerns like that you probably wouldn't want to hang out in a 95 degree room

All day long or for several hours, and so unfortunately

That's what ended up happening

Is that pest control didn't really fully explain that you want to not be in the house not be in the other rooms

For several hours just to let the overall relative temperature cool down

where you can be in there in a consistent basis and not have any type of issues so again the

Heat treatments overall are a very safe option for your home

When the proper procedures are followed so again make sure that your pest control company is

educated in the proper use of heat treatments

They have a procedure for before during and after the treatments make sure that they have these different things in place because again

Pest control overall can be very safe for your home when it's applied properly

It's used in the right way

and you know the right steps to avoid any potential issues let you unfortunately happen in this instance so

again a heat treatment is not anything you necessarily need to be afraid of same thing with pest control that the

Product or chemical route like that nothing you need to be afraid of when the company has the proper training

And they do it the right way a lot of these things are incredibly safe for you and your family and pets

Whatever the case might be so it's very unfortunate and tragic that this incident had to happen but again

When following these proper procedures and steps something like this should hopefully never occur again

and so if we can get the message out let people that the proper use of

pest control

products the proper use of a heat treatment is very safe when the the right of procedures and training is in place to

Treat your home and get rid of those pest issues while being safe so again very

Tragic we're very sorry for that loss that that happened in the industry

I'm for that family

But again heat treatments can be very safe same thing with any type of product or chemical treatment

When the right steps are taken to make sure that you're not in that room

You're out of the home for several hours

Various things like that so again

Sorry for that loss in the industry and for that family

What Does Collagen Really Do? The Benefits of Antler Farms Collagen Protein by Thomas Delauer - Duration: 8:15.

- Hey it's Thomas DeLauer,

and today I wanna give you a little bit of an education

on collagen protein and how it's synthesized within the body

and what it actually does.

We're seeing lots and lots of collagen products

come on the market these days,

and it's important that we have an understanding

of what's actually happening when it comes down to

the amino acids that collagen contains

and quite frankly, what collagen is in the first place.

So what I wanna discuss today is the amino acid structure

and what it does within your body.

So first and foremost,

collagen is what is known as a long-chain amino, okay?

It's a very unique kind of protein

that's actually the most abundant protein in the body.

A lot of us don't realize it,

we tend to think that skeletal muscle and things like that

are gonna be the most abundant protein.

It's actually collagen.

30% of the protein in your entire body is collagen,

and over 70% of the entirety of protein

in your skin is collagen.

You see what collagen does is it provides elasticity.

It provides a lot of the actual stretch

and the actual movement of tissue in the first place.

But it also gives structure,

it's what allows skin to be flexible

but also allows it to be somewhat rigid as well.

Same kinda thing with cartridge,

it's flexible, yet rigid at the same time.

That's because the protein in collagen

is pretty darn unique.

You see, it's comprised of a few different amino acids.

We've got proline,

which I'm gonna talk about in just a minute.

We've got glycine,

we've got arginine,

and then in some cases we have glutamine,

usually small amounts.

So what I'm gonna do in this video,

is I'm gonna break down what collagen does,

but then I'm gonna break down the individual amino acids

and how they have their own respective roles

when it comes down to creating connective tissue

and also helping you feel better.

So let's talk about the structure of collagen

and the amino acids involved.

But first off, let's make sure that you know

that the main purpose of collagen is going to be

to help rebuild cartilage, help strengthen your joints,

but also to help restructure, reorganize,

and make sure that your gut remains flexible as well.

So let's first look at proline,

the most abundant amino acid that's in collagen.

The job of proline is to break down protein tissues.

And that sounds a little bit counterintuitive,

why would we wanna break down protein tissues

if we're actually looking for structure and flexibility?

Well it's the breaking down of the protein tissues

that allows those proteins to become flexible,

otherwise they would just be rigid.

So when we're looking at the skin,

we need that proline to break down the proteins

so that the skin can actually move and do its thing.

Same kinda thing with the intestinal tract.

You see when we look at the lining of the intestinal tract,

it needs to have some flexibility too.

The best way that I can describe this,

if your skin were to get very very very dry,

it would get rigid, it would get brittle,

and when you move your arm, when you move your leg,

your skin would probably crack.

Well your intestinal lining's the same way.

You see if it doesn't have the elasticity,

it's going to get rigid and it's going to crack,

and it's going to become permeable,

which means that larger food particles

are going to get into the bloodstream,

triggering an immune response.

That's a video for another day.

The point is, we need the elasticity,

we need the collagen.

And it's the proline that allows that to happen.

Now additionally, proline also allows fat to get mobilized

if it's been stuck to an arterial wall.

Total side benefit, but it's a nice little perk at that.

Now let's talk about glycine.

Glycine is the next most abundant amino

when we're looking at collagen.

And it's the job of glycine to help synthesize DNA and RNA.

Now you might be wondering, "Why does this even matter?"

Well you see we have a genetic blueprint.

Every time that we rebuild cells,

or every time that we restructure something in our body,

we require DNA, we require our RNA.

What this means is we need this blueprint

to build ourselves back up

to the way that we are supposed to be built.

Let me give you an example.

How weird would it be if you were to shatter your elbow,

and you didn't have a genetic code to rebuild it

the same way that you are,

so you rebuilt it with somebody else's elbow.

It would look weird and it would feel weird,

and it wouldn't work, right?

Well that's exactly why the DNA and the RNA are so important

when it comes down to cell regeneration

and rehab in the first place.

And what this glycine does is it helps

so that the DNA and the RNA are synthesized better

so that they communicate with the cells

so that the collagen can rebuild the right kind of things.

If you injure the cartilage,

or you injure the connective tissue,

you need the DNA and the RNA to rebuild it

to the right genetic code,

otherwise you're not going to heal properly.

So that's how the proline and the glycine work in-tandem.

Then we have the arginine.

Now arginine you might know of,

arginine's going to stimulate nitric oxide production

what's gonna allow the blood flow to be more powerful.

It's gonna allow you to get more blood to the cell,

more blood to where it needs to go to deliver nutrients.

You can see how this is a lethal weapon when it's combined

with the proline and the glycine.

So you take the actual restructuring component

along with the DNA,

along with the improvement of blood flow,

you've got a nice little structure there.

Now let's talk about glutamine for just a second.

There's not a whole lot of glutamine in collagen,

but enough to make a big difference.

What glutamine's main function's going to be

when it comes down to collagen,

is going to be solely for the gut.

You see what this glutamine's going to do,

is it's going to slow down or stop

epithelial cell apoptosis.

What that means is it's

the pre-programmed cellular death within the gut.

We have this cell apoptosis, which is pre-programmed death

that is dictated by the DNA.

Our DNA will tell a cell to die at a certain point

because it's just time to die.

Well what the glutamine can do

is it can slow down that process

so that the cell, even when it's supposed to die,

could stay alive a little bit longer,

allowing the gut to flourish

and allow that gut mucosal layer to rebuild even stronger.

Now that's pretty powerful

when it comes down to really trying to absorb

as many of the nutrients as you possibly can

and to reduce inflammation in the body.

We also have a massive reduction

in what is called bacteriemia.

Bacteriemia is going to be the overall composition

of bad bacterias in the gut that slow down digestion

and also affect the motility of the gut

in a very negative way.

So glutamine has a big impact.

So now that we know what collagen is made of,

let's talk about why it's so important

to make sure that you're getting it

from an exogenous source as much as possible.

You see even if you're eating a lot of meat,

it's extremely hard to synthesize collagen.

Not that it's difficult, it's just metabolically expensive.

Metabolically expensive is a word that I like to use

to describe how much efficiency is involved

in synthesizing something.

And synthesizing collagen is not very efficient.

It requires a lot of different things,

it requires a robust amount of enzymes,

a robust amount of anti-oxidants,

and a ton of vitamin C to ultimately link

these amino chains together.

Our body can do it,

and our body can do it from vegetarian sources too,

it can extract these different aminos

and link them together,

it just takes a lot of work,

and we might not be getting enough.

We also have to factor in

how many greens we need to be taking in

in order to actually synthesize collagen the proper way.

You see, chlorophyll, which is in deep leafy greens,

is what is going to help the body produce procollagen.

This procollagen allows collagen to actually be formed.

Without chlorophyll, collagen doesn't form very well,

so if you're eating a lot of meat,

but you're not getting your veggies,

you're not gonna built a lot of collagen.

Which means even if you're consuming enough protein,

you might not be feeling like your joints are recovering.

That's why it's extremely important to try to utilize

a collagen supplement if you don't think

that you're getting enough.

The collagen supplements these days are super high-quality,

especially if you know what you're looking for.

You wanna make sure you're looking for

grass-fed whenever possible,

don't go with the low-quality stuff

that's from inhumanely treated animals,

but also the stuff that's not going to absorb

and be utilized in your body.

You end up wasting your time, wasting your money,

and ultimately wasting a perfectly good collagen drain.

So if you have a hydrolyzed collagen protein,

all the hard work is already done.

It's pure collagen that's ready to be utilized

and ready to help you heal.

So the real theory of this

is that you don't have to be consuming as much protein

or as much animal source if you take a collagen supplement.

Because the bulk of what we're trying to extract

from an animal source of protein

is going to be the collagen in the first place.

So it ends up being easier, cheaper,

and ultimately more effective

to get your collagen from a collagen supplement

than it is to eat copious amounts of meat

hoping that you're going to be able to synthesize

just enough collagen to get yourself feeling better,

allow your joints to feel better,

and most of all to allow your gut to function properly.
