NON SIATE OMOLOGATI Only good vibes (Sub. ENG) - Duration: 5:13.
Do not be homologated
Goodmorning, today Thursday the 15th
"Do you want to build a snowman?"
No, I wanna make sand castles
on the beach, with the sun! ahaha
Stand out from the crowd, be yourself
And above all
be the best version of yourself
This ticket, this message
is directed especially
to younger guys
because if there is something that hurts me
(if I can say it in this way)
is the "homologation"
People homologation
all soldiers in a row, identical
everyone likes the same things
Is it possible???
If I can talk about my experience
openly, face to face
I've always been seen as the strange girl
I mean
I was the one who belonged
the one that didn't go out with
the circle of friends of all
because I had other interests
I made choices since I was a child
and I found myself living different realities
from those that my school friends used to live
If you wanna read the details
of my personal experience
since I was 10yo
I write the link under this video
and you can see it on my blog
I wanna go on and tell you something else
anyone has some peculiarities
and who wants to mask them
behind status
it's because prolly he's afraid
of being judged
There is the fear
of being seen differently
from the others
but REMEMBER: I you wanna emerge
or you wanna show who you really are
you don't have to fear people's judgment at all
and especially
if you wear a mask
remember that it's not easy
to keep it constantly
sooner or later that mask falls
and feeling naked, without that mask,
and unprepared..
..well..it's embarrassing!
I can talk about fashion, style..
I can also talk about thinking
Is it possible that, out of 100
99 have the same ideas?
As my colleague says:
"I don't think so!"
There are guys more closed than others
and there are others, on the contrary,
that want to emerge, but they do it wrong
with behavior and attitudes
that can harm other people
probably following a non-personal thought
and therefore failing to support them
step by step
and that's where the person
is no longer interesting
To be well even among others
you must be yourself
YOURSELF! with all the merits
and all the faults
pay attention!
There is a person, among you,
who is watching me
I know it,
and she told me so many things
about herself
In the course of her life
she lost many friendships
because of her character
and I appreciate her character
because she is a candid person
direct!
if there's any problem
she'll tell you in the face
she doesn' t talk badly behind you
with other people
Someone doesn't like the sincerity
and runs away.
Other people can not speak openly
they stay in silence
they evaluate
and take action
everything is acceptable,
we are different characters
and this is not discussed
But don't be afraid to be who you are!
Closed, shy, introverted, expansive
dynamic, more quiet
we are different and that's ok
It's right that's it
we are different and the same
at the same time
But really, I invite you not to imitate each other
because if one person stands out for sympathy,
the other maybe stands out
because it is so introvert that
it writes beautiful poems
if you want to express your thought
Do it!
they'll comment, criticize you,
they will laugh at you
or they'll support you
but what does it matter:
that was your thought
and until proven otherwise, there is still freedom
on this point
Express yourself
with all the love you can
do not chained yourself
only in this way you can grow
and you'll be the best version of yourself
forgive me if I have talked too much,
but today it was a duty

Lies About God: "God Doesn't Care" - Duration: 3:14.
Why would people think
that God doesn't care?
Well, it's because the suffering
that exists in our world –
many, including us at times,
feel like God must be distant or disinterested.
So does God care?
I heard a story about a woman
named Dorothy L. Sayers.
Dorothy Sayers was one of the first women
to graduate from Oxford University.
She lived in the early 1900s.
By her own admission,
she was not much to look at –
her words, not mine.
She was not a real attractive woman.
And she was the writer of mystery novels.
She wrote eleven novels,
all about the same guy,
Sir Peter Wimsey.
Sir Wimsey was a British aristocrat
who would go around solving crimes.
The series was very popular in England.
Well, after about the fifth novel,
Dorothy started to get
these letters from her fans.
And they would say things like,
"Oh, we love Sir Wimsey.
He's so noble and brave.
But he seems so consumed by his work.
We kind of feel sorry for him."
And so Dorothy went back and
read her first five novels
and she said, "You know what? They're right.
He's lonely."
So in the sixth novel,
Dorothy wrote in a new character.
The character's name was Harriet Vane.
And Harriet Vane was one of the first women
to graduate from Oxford University.
She was not a real attractive woman.
And she wrote mystery novels.
Well, Harriet teamed up with Lord Wimsey.
And they went around London,
solving crime.
By the eighth novel, they fell in love
and got married.
And the series ended
with them living happily ever after.
It's kind of obvious what happened there, right?
Dorothy looked out at this universe
that she had created
and she saw of all the characters she loved,
there was one she loved most:
Sir Wimsey.
And she saw that he just wasn't whole.
Now, she could have simply
scrapped the series
and started over.
She could have
left it be.
I mean, her novels were selling.
But instead, Dorothy
wrote herself into the story
in order to make Sir Wimsey whole.
That's really a metaphor for Christmas, isn't it?
God looked out at this universe
that he created and he saw
of all the people he loved,
there was one he loved most: you.
And he saw that you just weren't whole.
Now he could have scrapped you and started over.
He could have simply left you be.
But instead, he wrote himself
into the story, literally.
The word became flesh.
Jesus wrote himself
into the story of your life
to make you whole.
Do you see how much he loves you?
The Bible says,
Now that doesn't seem distant
or disinterested to me.
Let's pray.
Dear Jesus,
thank you for showing how much you care for me
by entering into my story to save me.
Let that fact assure me
that you care about me and the world.
Amen.

How to Tell a Story in English - Duration: 17:44.
Hi, I'm Gina.
Welcome to Oxford Online English!
In this lesson, you can learn how to tell a story in English.
Stories are powerful.
When you meet someone new, go to a job interview or take a speaking exam like IELTS, you need
to tell stories, whether you realise that's what you're doing or not.
Becoming a better storyteller will make you a more convincing speaker.
People are attracted to good stories—it's a fundamental part of being human.
Learning how to tell better stories can help you become a more effective English speaker,
and a better communicator generally.
In this class, you'll learn how to build a story, step by step.
You'll see three different stories, and you'll see how you can use the same simple
ideas in almost any story.
If you want to read the stories before the lesson, make sure you're watching this on
our website: Oxford Online English dot com.
If you're watching on YouTube, you can find a link in the video description.
There, you can read the three stories in full.
We want you to take part in this lesson.
Think of a story you want to tell.
As you go through the lesson, you'll hear our stories, but you should also be building
your own story.
So, think of something funny, scary, interesting or weird that happened to you.
Do you have an idea for a story?
Then let's begin!
A clear story needs to start with some background.
Think about basic wh- questions: who, when, where, what?
Start your story with one sentence which gives some of this information.
For example:
It was summer, and I went with some friends to a beach in Crimea which you could only
get to by boat.
I was travelling in Kyrgyzstan, and I decided to go hiking in the mountains.
At university, I shared a flat with three other guys.
Keep it simple at the beginning: who, when, where, what?
Next, add one or two more sentences to give more background details.
You need a balance here: you want to give enough background details to make your story
feel real, but you also need to get to the heart of your story quickly.
People will lose interest if you don't get to the point.
Let's see how you can do this.
Look at our first example:
It was summer, and I went with some friends to a beach in Crimea which you could only
get to by boat.
Think: if you heard this, what questions could you ask to get more details?
You might ask things like:
Who were your friends?
Why did you go to this beach?
What was the place like?
Were there any other people there?
Answering these questions gives you details you can add after your opening sentence.
For example:
People had been going there for years, and there were benches and tables, places to camp,
fire places and so on.
It was kind of a hippy place, with everyone walking around naked and doing whatever they
felt like.
Here, we're focusing on one thing—the place—because it's the most interesting
and unusual detail.
For a different story, you might focus on different details:
We were all good friends, but like lots of guys in that situation, we played a lot of pranks on each other.
In this story, the people are more important, so you would give more details about them.
Okay: your turn!
You need to start your story.
Make an opening sentence.
Remember: who, when, where, what?
Then, add 1-2 sentences giving more background details.
Focus on the most important elements in your story.
Pause the video and do it now!
Write it down if you want.
What's next?
Big question: what makes a story a story?
If I tell you that I went to the shop to buy some bread, and then I came home and ate the
bread, is that a story?
Not really.
If it is, it's not a good one.
So, think about it: what makes a story a story?
A story needs two things.
One: there needs to be a goal.
The person or people in the story should want something.
Two: there needs to be tension.
That means the goal can't be too easy to reach.
In this section, let's look at putting a goal in your story.
Here's the question: what do the people in your story want?
They must want something.
This is the heart of your story.
If the people in your story don't want anything, then you don't have a story.
Let's do an example together: On the last day, we had to catch a train in
the evening.
Pause the video if you need extra time to read.
Here we have a simple goal: we needed to catch our train.
Let's do one more: To reach Issyk-Kul lake, which was the end
of my journey, I had to cross a mountain pass, almost 4,000m high.
What's the goal here?
The goal is getting across the mountain pass to the lake.
The goal in your story can be something big or something small.
You can see in these two examples that we have something very easy and simple—catching
a train—and something bigger and more difficult—crossing a 4,000-metre mountain pass on foot.
What about your story?
What's the goal?
What do the people in your story want?
Keep this simple.
Just add one sentence to your story, setting a goal for you or the other people in your
story.
Pause the video, write your sentence, then we'll move on to the next part.
Ready?
Ok, remember that we said there are two things every story needs.
What's the second?
Every story needs tension.
What does that mean?
Simply, it means that your goal shouldn't be too easy to reach.
Here's a story:
There was a monster which liked to eat people.
A hero killed the monster.
Everyone was safe.
The end.
Good story?
Obviously not!
If the goal in your story is too easy, then your story will be very short and boring.
There needs to be tension.
As they listen to you, people should be thinking: what's going to happen next?
Will everything be ok?
How are they going to get out of this problem?
The goal needs to be difficult.
There need to be problems.
People need to doubt whether you're going to succeed or fail.
This is tension.
For example: On the third day, I had to cross a mountain
pass, almost 4,000m high.
It was so hard, because the air is thin up there and I was carrying a very heavy pack.
It seemed to take forever, but finally I got close to the top… and then a storm boiled
over the ridge and landed right on my head.
There was lightning all around me, even below me!
The noise was unbelievable.
First, you hear how difficult it was, even before the storm hit.
Then, the storm arrives.
What's going to happen?
Did I make it over the pass?
Did I get hurt?
Let's look at one more example: One weekend, I was going home to visit my
parents.
I said bye to my flatmates, and told them not to do anything to my room.
"Don't worry, we won't.
Have a good weekend," they said.
I knew they were going to do something, but I couldn't believe what they actually did:
This is a very different kind of story, but the structure is the same.
I have a goal, which is to visit my parents and come back without my friends doing anything
to my room.
You also have some tension.
You hear sentences like this:
I told them not to do anything to my room.
I knew they were going to do something.
When you hear these, you know they're going to do something to my room, but you don't
know what.
This is called foreshadowing.
You know something bad is going to happen, but you aren't sure exactly what.
That's where the tension comes from.
What did they actually do?
Hopefully, you want to know what happened next.
Now, think about your story.
How can you add some tension?
One way is to add problems or difficulties: things that get between you and your goal.
Another way is to use foreshadowing, like our story above.
Pause the video and add tension to your story.
This is an important part of your story, so think about it carefully.
Aim to write 2-3 sentences, and start again when you're done.
Okay?
Now, you're ready to think about the end of your story.
To finish your story, you need to resolve the tension.
At this point, the people listening to your story should want to know what comes next.
You've created some tension.
They aren't sure what's going to happen, but they want to know.
So, finishing your story is simple: explain what happened in the end, and whether you
(or whoever) reached your goal or not.
Let's finish the three stories you've seen in this lesson:
Remember that you can pause if you need more time to read or review the story.
Let's read the end together.
We loaded our stuff onto a kayak and swam almost a kilometre around the cliffs.
A naked hippy paddled the kayak, which was piled high with our things and looked like
it could sink at any minute.
We made it to land, and after several hours of hitchhiking and walking, we caught our
train.
It was stressful at the time, but looking back now it makes a good story!
You can see that the ending does two things.
In this story, we have tension: there's a mine in the harbour and we can't leave
by boat.
How did we solve it?
By swimming for a kilometre, with a naked hippy transporting our stuff in an overloaded
kayak.
Secondly, the ending explains whether we reached our goal or not.
In this case, happily, we caught the train!
What about our second story?
I forgot how tired I was and ran down the slopes to get to safety.
I stayed the night lower down and tried again the next day.
I made it over the pass, but it was a very frightening experience.
Again, the ending resolves the tension—I ran below the storm and tried again the next
day—and also explains whether I reached my goal or not.
Finally, what did happen to my room at university?
They made my room into a jungle!
I'm not kidding: there were flowers, plants, three whole trees, jungle animals made from
paper, and a 'sounds of the forest' mix playing on my stereo.
It took me three hours to clean up, and also I have hay fever—an allergy to pollen—so
I was sneezing and blowing my nose the whole time.
For my flatmates, that just made it funnier…
It's the same pattern: we resolve the tension by answering the question: what did my flatmates
do to my room?
We also find out whether I reached my goal or not (I didn't).
Now you've seen the three stories; can you see what each one has right at the end?
Each story ends with a retrospective comment.
Retrospective means 'looking back'.
A retrospective comment tells people how you feel now about the story, or how other people
felt.
For example:
It was stressful at the time, but looking back now it makes a good story!
It was a very frightening experience.
For my flatmates, that just made it funnier…
You don't have to put a retrospective comment at the end of your story, but it's a good
way to finish.
Most of all, a retrospective comment sounds like an ending.
That's useful, especially if you're speaking, because it shows your listener that you've
finished speaking.
Now, you need to finish your story.
Pause the video and write an ending.
Remember that you need to do two things: resolve the tension, and explain whether or not you
reached your goals.
Let's review: to tell a good story, you need to:
- Set the scene and give some background information.
- Establish a goal for the person or people in your story.
- Add some tension, so that people aren't sure what will happen in the end.
- Finish the story and add a retrospective comment.
Of course, there are other things which are important in a story.
Adding interesting details and descriptions can make your story more lifelike.
Adding jokes and humour can improve many stories.
Giving some background on the people and their personalities can bring the people in your
stories to life.
But, nothing is more important than structure, and that's what you've seen in this lesson.
A story without good structure isn't really a story.
Get the structure right first.
Maybe you're thinking, "I don't have the vocabulary to tell stories like that."
Not true: I've heard very powerful stories from students who spoke very basic English.
Vocabulary doesn't make a good story.
Structure and emotion make a good story.
Focus on structure and practise what you've learned in this lesson.
You can tell great stories in English, too!
Do you have a story you'd like to share?
Please post it in the comments.

President Trump Releases New Sanctuary City Plan That Will Cost Them Everything
Millions of Americans are appalled at so-called sanctuary cities.
These Liberal-run cities protect illegal aliens.
They refuse to inform federal agents of these criminals.
Often this puts American citizens at high risk.
This policy of putting aliens ahead of Americans has gone on long enough.
President Trump promised to end the practice since before his election.
His administration has come down hard on sanctuary cities, including the entire state of California.
Now he is calling on Congress to do their part in ending this policy.
His new plan will have illegals—and their Liberal guardians—begging for mercy.
From Daily Caller:
President Donald Trump called on Congress to immediately stop funding sanctuary cities
during a Pennsylvania rally Saturday.
Trump ordered Congress to stop giving money to cities that insist on disobeying federal
immigration laws in an attempt to better protect American lives.
"I'm calling on Congress to stop funding sanctuary cities so we can save American lives.
The funding bill should not give precious and massive tax payer grants to cities aiding
and abetting criminals," Trump said at the rally for Republican congressional candidate
Rick Saccone.
"It's what they do."
You'll remember what the mayor of Oakland did recently.
Not only is her city a sanctuary for illegals, but she warned them of an incoming ICE raid.
Her warning allowed over 800 criminal aliens to elude federal authorities.
How is that not considered treason?
Democrats have made it clear that they are putting illegal aliens ahead of American citizens.
They are willing to lose federal funding, just to protect illegals.
American citizens will suffer, thanks to a lack of funds.
Needed programs and improvements will be neglected.
But at least criminal aliens will be safe, right Jerry Brown?
President Trump's words will put the necessary pressure on Congress.
They can't keep letting sanctuary cities defy our laws.
A sharp cut in funding might go a long way in ending this ridiculous policy.
Liberal mayors and leaders will have to choose between federal grants and illegals.
I wonder which is more important to them?
Patriotic Americans who live in sanctuary regions must decide as well.
Should you continue to support local governments that neglect citizens?
Or should these hacks be voted out of office?
It's your choice, after all.

1m lost driving licences in the UK in 2017 - Duration: 3:04.
Motorists spent nearly £19 million last year replacing stolen or lost driving licences,
new figures have revealed.
Official records from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) show 931,527 applications
for replacement driving licences were made between 1 January 2017 and 1 January 2018.At
a cost of £20 for each replacement licence, that equates to a total bill of around £18.6
million.
Separate survey data released by the DVLA showed 3.1 per cent of Scottish drivers keep
their licence in their car, compared to a national average of 1.7 per cent.
Meanwhile, older drivers are far more likely to leave their licences at home than younger
motorists, with 18.5 per cent of over 55s doing so, compared to 7 per cent of 16 to
34 year olds.
Commenting on the findings, Dudley Ashford, the DVLA's drivers service manager, said:
"While you don't legally have to carry your licence with you when driving, you need
to have a licence in case you need to prove you can drive.
So we'd recommend keeping your licence safe and secure at all times – perhaps storing
it in one safe place along with other important documents."Hopefully you won't have to
replace your licence but if you are going to carry it around with you and you then lose
it, it's always quicker to apply for a new one online."
Steve Gooding, director of motoring research for the RAC Foundation, said: "It seems we
are as good at losing driving licences as we are socks, pens and teaspoons.
"At least we no longer have to worry about looking after the paper counterpart to our
licence, which was phased out in 2015.
"In the year they were abolished almost half a million of these were lost too."
What to do if you lose your driving licence The process of replacing a lost driving licence
is relatively simple.
First, head to the official Government portal, with your credit card in hand.
You'll need to supply a list of addresses you've lived at for the last three years,
together with your passport, National Insurance and driving licence numbers if you know these.
You won't need to supply your own photo if your licence is due to expire within two
years, or you have a valid UK passport – the DVLA will use an electronic photograph of
you in these instances.
You will, however, have to send in your old driving licence if you subsequently find it.

In His Final Year In Office Obama Spent Stunning $36 2 Million On Lawsuits To Hide Federal Records F - Duration: 27:06.
In His Final Year In Office Obama Spent Stunning $36.2 Million On Lawsuits To Hide Federal
Records From Public
In addition to being the most divisive President in America's history, it appears as though
Barack Obama and his regime will also go down as the least transparent administration in
history…
According to CBS -The Obama administration in its final year in office spent a record
$36.2 million on legal costs defending its refusal to turn over federal records under
the Freedom of Information Act, according to an Associated Press analysis of new U.S.
data that also showed poor performance in other categories measuring transparency in
government.
For a second consecutive year, the Obama administration set a record for times federal employees told
citizens, journalists and others that despite searching they couldn't find a single page
of files that were requested.
And it set records for outright denial of access to files, refusing to quickly consider
requests described as especially newsworthy, and forcing people to pay for records who
had asked the government to waive search and copy fees.
The government acknowledged when challenged that it had been wrong to initially refuse
to turn over all or parts of records in more than one-third of such cases, the highest
rate in at least six years.
In courtrooms, the number of lawsuits filed by news organizations under the Freedom of
Information Act surged during the past four years, led by the New York Times, Center for
Public Integrity and The Associated Press, according to a litigation study by the Transactional
Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University.
The AP on Monday settled its 2015 lawsuit against the State Department for files about
Hillary Clinton's time as secretary of state, at AP's request, and received $150,546 from
the department to cover part of its legal fees.
The AP has pending lawsuits against the FBI for records about its decision to impersonate
an AP journalist during a criminal investigation and about who helped the FBI hack into a mass
shooting suspect's iPhone and how much the government paid to do it.
Of the $36.2 million in legal costs fighting such lawsuits last year, the Justice Department
accounted for $12 million, the Homeland Security Department for $6.3 million and the Pentagon
for $4.8 million.
The three departments accounted for more than half the government's total records requests
last year.
The figures reflect the final struggles of the Obama administration during the 2016 election
to meet President Barack Obama's pledge that it was "the most transparent administration
in history," despite wide recognition of serious problems coping with requests under
the information law.
It received a record 788,769 requests for files last year and spent a record $478 million
answering them and employed 4,263 full-time FOIA employees across more than 100 federal
departments and agencies.
That was higher by 142 such employees the previous year.

Daycare to House Cleaning Side Hustle? - Duration: 7:51.
From daycare to house cleaning, how do you bridge that gap?
We're going to talk about that today.
Hi there.
I'm Angela Brown, and this is Ask a House Cleaner.
This is a show where you get to ask a house cleaning question,
and I get to help you find an answer.
Today's show is brought to us by HouseCleaning360.com
It's a 360 view of the perfect home, and so if you need a babysitter or you need an afterschool
private tutor, you can find that person on HouseCleaning360.com
If you are a private tutor or you are a babysitter, you can list your business there so that people
can also find you.
HouseCleaning360.com
If somebody comes to your home to do their business, you will find that person on
HouseCleaning360.com
All right.
On to today's show, which is from a daycare provider who is going to pick up some house
cleaning on the side.
Here's her question.
Speaker 2: I have a full-time, in-home daycare and I'm wanting to do some housekeeping on the side.
I still think I should treat this as a business venture.
I'm just wondering if maybe I'll have to get a little more creative to get clients.
What is your advice?
Angela Brown: All right.
That's an excellent question, and I'm going to take off my house cleaning hat for a minute,
and I want to go back in time.
I'm one of 19 kids, so I've been around kids my entire life, and as a youth, I went and
I worked with my aunt in her in-home daycare service as an assistant
so she could take on more kids.
A lot of things that I understand about kids, and I want to hit your question from that
angle, not from the house cleaning angle.
If I'm given a choice, to take care of kids or do house cleaning, I will always choose the child first.
One of the rules that I have when I come into a house is that if your kids are running around
and they are close to or getting involved in my cleaning supplies, I'm going to take
care of your child first.
That is my first priority is the protection of your child, and so when it comes between
children and house cleaning, the child always comes first.
As a daycare provider, you probably feel the same, so in order to answer your question,
my question is this.
Let me back up a step.
Why are you trying to pick up house cleaning on the side?
Is it because you're trying to expand your world, just beyond kids all day, or is it
because you need the extra money?
It's probably one of those two things.
If it's to expand your horizons beyond the kids, I don't recommend house cleaning as
a business, and so what I might recommend is that you join a book club or a church group
or something like that where you can talk to other adults in the evening and you can
expand your horizons.
If you're looking to add some extra money to your income, instead of picking up the
house cleaning, I recommend that you pick up more kids and maybe hire an assistant so
that you can have more kids in your house.
Or raise the price on the kids that you have.
Here's the reason why.
If we go back to a second before where I said, "I will always choose the kid first," that's
going to come down to why are you in the children business.
If you're in the children business and you're choosing the child first, house cleaning is
going to become very difficult for you, for this reason.
When are you going to clean the houses, because you just said that you were a full-time daycare provider.
In the United States, full-time means usually 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or
7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Are you going to start cleaning houses at 6:00 or 7:00 PM?
My question is if the child comes first, what happens when the parents are late picking
up their child from work that day?
Let's say that the parent gets tied up at work or they took an out of day trip and their
flight was delayed getting back.
Now you have a house you're supposed to start at 6:00 PM and you still have kids at your
house, and so if you choose the child first, which you probably will being a daycare provider,
you're going to put your house cleaning clients on the back burner, and after a couple of
weeks, you won't have any house cleaning clients, so I don't recommend house cleaning as a business.
Now, the next thing that I would recommend in house cleaning, you have to be on, you
have to pay attention 100% of the time because you have different surfaces that you're cleaning.
You can't just get in the zone and start cleaning, or you're going to end up using the wrong
chemicals on different surfaces.
House cleaning is also a really difficult business where you're dealing with customers
and clients and people's expectations.
Are you going to come off a day of dealing with lots of kids and you're going to go to
a customer's house where the customer is high-maintenance and they're nitpicky
and you have satisfaction guarantees that you're going to have to activate?
Is that what you're going to do, because that sounds like a whole lot of extra work.
Now, daycare, for example, you have to be on all day, as a daycare provider, too.
You can't go in a zone.
You have to spend 100% of your energy being alert and watching kids.
To go from one job where you're 100% alert to another job where you're 100% alert, that
takes a lot of mental and physical and emotional energy.
All right.
We did an episode a couple weeks back called Mom Syndrome, and the Mom Syndrome is where
the moms, and this would fall into your category because you're taking care of kids, where
the moms take care of everyone else's needs before they take care of their own, and so
my suggestion to you is you got to take care of you.
If you are day caring during the day and you are house cleaning in the evening, when are
you taking care of you, because if you get burned out taking houses in the evening, how
are you going to be for the kids the next day when all the kids come back.
There's got to be this small window where you actually renovate and repair yourself.
You got to have sleep, you got to have exercise, you got to eat, and you got to have some kind
of adult interaction so that your world is not only eight-year-olds and under or whatever
the ages are that you babysit.
My suggestion would be, why are you doing the house cleaning?
If it's in order for you to pick up some extra money, my suggestion in this particular scenario
is don't do house cleaning.
It's the wrong job to add on to your existing business.
I love house cleaning.
I'm a huge fan of house cleaning, but in this particular scenario, I don't recommend it.
You are allowed, and I don't know where you live and I don't know what part of the world
you live in, but I would check with the government where you live in because you are allowed
so many kids per adult.
I know in the United States, in most areas, you can have up to eight children under the
ages of 12, including your own, without a paid assistant.
If you have a paid assistant, you can have up to 12 children in your home.
If it's getting more children, what I would recommend is that you have an assistant come
help you and you take a couple of kids after school, for example, for a couple of days a week.
That way, you are adding on to what you're already doing without reinventing the wheel
and starting a whole new business because the house cleaning on top of what you're already
doing is going to cause an enormous amount of stress and an enormous amount of strain,
and it's going to take a lot out of you, so I don't recommend it at all.
For you, it's not about getting creative and picking up new accounts.
It's about figuring out a way to make the daycare work for you in a way that you get
your emotional and your physical and your financial needs met, and I don't think that
involves house cleaning for you, so just this particular scenario, I don't recommend house cleaning.
It's a huge project, and you are already taking on a huge project, and so my suggestion would
be choose the children first and take care of the children
and let somebody else do the house cleaning.
Alrighty.
That's my two cents for today, and until we meet again,
leave the world a cleaner place than when you found it.
