Youtube daily report w Mar 19 2018

Obesity, drugs, and alcohol abuse are routinely named as the fastest and surest ways to an

early grave.

Disease, accidents, drowning, and burning are also reasons our lives are cut short.

But what is the one other major factor determining what age you will die at?

One factor that trumps all of these?

Well, have you ever felt so alone that you could die?

Have you ever felt desperately in need of somebody to share your life?

Well if so, you're in the vast majority, as humans need, above and beyond everything

else, other humans in order to have a happy and healthy life.

In today's episode of The Infographics Show, we answer the very tragic question, Can You

Die of Loneliness?

Recent studies claimed that moderately drinking alcohol is not a death sentence, and that

overeating, while dangerous, might not be the end of the world, but the largest factor

relating to an early death was, according to these studies, in fact, loneliness.

For the last ten years, researchers have been looking deeply into the health implications

of loneliness and social isolation, and the data is conclusive in that lonely people die

earlier than non-lonely people, whether they smoke, drink, exercise or not.

Brigham Young University found that social isolation increases risk of death by up to

30%, while other studies place the risk as high as 60%.

Psychologically, loneliness is linked to depression, anxiety, substance abuse, schizophrenia, and

dementia.

It is safe to say that not all lonely people are depressed or suicidal, but it is also

realistic to observe that of those who are suffering from psychological problems, that

loneliness is part of the problem.

Loneliness can have practical and circumstantial effects that might lead to one's demise.

A lonely person may have a disease that would ordinarily be recognized if he or she were

amongst a group of caring people.

Or maybe a sudden health event like a heart attack or a stroke may go unchecked, and nobody

is there to rush the patient to a hospital.

Is this death caused by loneliness, or death caused by a symptom of loneliness?

Well, that's a good question.

Generally, good health and hygiene tend to be overlooked when one is living alone, advancing

in age, and, prone to forgetting to take their pills, elderly people may simply slide in

deathly decline without realizing it.

Then factor in the chances of the house setting on fire and nobody being there to warn you.

We survive better, statistically, when we have people around us.

On a practical level, we have a better chance of surviving in groups, and that is why we

are biologically predisposed to live as group animals.

Although we do have a carnivore's solitary hunter instinct, we are still largely bovine

and herbivorous in our social behavior.

John Cacioppo, a social neuroscientist at the University of Chicago, once said, "For

a social species, to be on the edge of the social perimeter is to be in a dangerous position,

the brain goes into a self-preservation state that brings with it a lot of unwanted effects."

So according to science, yes loneliness is a very real threat, and it can kill you if

you slip into a solitary world.

The type of relationship we have is of equal importance to whether we have social relationships

at all.

It's not so much about how many people we socialize with but the sense of connection

we feel with those people.

And relationships with the wrong types of people can lead to an early death.

We are statistically more likely to be murdered by somebody we know, and so called enabling

relationships such as co-dependent drug dependent relationships are worse for the individuals

than had they not been together at all.

Some people who have been subjected to abusive relationships in childhood are hardwired to

seek solitude as for them, that was the coping strategy that kept them safe.

It is important that they break this way of thinking, as it will ultimately lead to them

having a longer, healthier life.

But what about those who simply prefer isolation?

Those who are more comfortable and content being by themselves, who value solitude, and

feel awkward in social settings?

Monks, holy men, Sages, Sadhus, all these figures throughout history have been known

to acquire knowledge and wisdom through isolation, and why not?

Having our social minds constantly set to "on" doesn't give a chance for us to

rest and replenish, so there is an argument for temporary isolation.

Solitude does help productivity and self-discovery, it also encourages deep thinking, and it helps

people work through problems more effectively.

This is why great scientists like Einstein, artists such as Van Gogh, and religious leaders

such as Buddha, spent a lot of time working out problems by themselves.

Ultimately, although it depends on the individual, sociability and interaction with other humans

is fundamental to living a longer, fuller life.

And yes, loneliness can kill, you can die of it, and what's more, it is perhaps the

world's biggest killer.

So, do you enjoy being alone?

Or do you feel like loneliness is killing you?

New Jurassic World Facts Mattel App IOS, Android Jurassic World 2 Fallen Kingdom Dinosaur Toys - Duration: 19:30.

okay guys I'll be reviewing the six Jurassic world falling Kingdom dinosaur

toys this week and today we are gonna be doing the fallen Kingdom Jurassic world

app from Mattel where you scan all of these in so let's go ahead check that

New Jurassic World Facts Mattel App IOS, Android Jurassic World 2 Fallen Kingdom Dinosaur Toys

this is Mattel Jurassic world fallen Kingdom app I would have shown

you guys earlier blah I wanted it to come to I have like an emulator that I

use on my computer so you get a much better video here when I go through my

computer says connect to a network to unlock this dinosaur we're gonna go

ahead and check what is in the park okay so here we got the entire island let's

just jump around here's some game tips

continues scan the marker under the foot to unlock it and the collection tab and

collection tab use the bottom right icon to sort your dinosaur by zone okay

okay and guys are the rest of the week I'm gonna be reviewing six more Jurassic

world falling Kingdom dinosaur toys I bought unfortunately Mattel doesn't

think I'm important enough to send me these they sent it to other channels so

I went ahead and paid double retail price on eBay

just so I could show you guys these awesome dinosaurs and have some cool

battles so the two I'm gonna the six of them two of them are the fallen Kingdom

attack Stegosaurus and the Fallen Kingdom attack Carnotaurus and then I

also have four of the roar boars which are the very Onyx Triceratops

metric ant thesaurus and Allosaurus so that's gonna be awesome so make sure you

guys keep watching but anyways I will go ahead scan these into here so you can

see what its gonna look like to but here they show you already the Velociraptor

here so if I click on it the Velociraptor will attack he looks cool

you can get some facts on this guy okay here I added them to my wish list which

I didn't want to do if you click on info you could get some cool facts you have

to unlock other facts probably as you get more dinosaurs but anyways so that

one's cool let's see what else we're gonna have here you can't see it but if

you click on it you go ahead and bring up a flare so here we have an Allosaurus

so that good looks cool and that next is a Baryonyx

which I should be skinny this guy in this week so we can get some cool facts

on him and our next guy is another Baryonyx it says four of 35 so these are

all dinos they're gonna be coming out with guys so here we got Velociraptor

blue one of three so again we're gonna have Velociraptor blue over here moving

on we have another Velociraptor blue and then we're gonna go to Carnotaurus so

I'll be reviewing this guide this week too he is awesome

and here we have a Surat asorech cool although that that one does look a lot

like the asper all jurassic world one Dilophosaurus one of six so I guess

they're going really out with really in with the Dilophosaurus so these will

probably all be the same the next six its kind of cool when you turn the flare

that's when he throws his frills up

okay then our next one is Dimetrodon awesome and guys odd these dinosaurs are

really expensive so any of if any of you guys want to become one of my patrons on

patreon I'll have a link below the video guys I mean it would help me out a lot

so I mean just you know just a suggestion

sort of like NPR NPR asks you to you know donate money so you could could you

know keep the channel going which you know that would help me out a lot but

you know you guys that can't just viewing helps me out so here we have her

rat Harris Soros one of two this is a new one none of the lines have done this

guy cool okay in a metric ant thesaurus okay so this guy I should be doing this

week - scanning him in next one is a mono mono lava Saurus

yeah this guy's cool I use this guy a lot in odd Jurassic world the game

really cool Dino I do have over 200 episodes the Jurassic world the game

guys if that's something you guys like gonna I just bought a really awesome

tournament ok so here we got a processor processor to Saurus pro Ceratosaurus

probably killing that so that's another new one that none of the dinosaur lines

have done spinosaurus and it's a big one guys i mean odd the comments I've been

reading online it looks like they have confirmed they are gonna be making a big

classic Spinosaurus for the Jurassic Park anniversary line and that is gonna

be sold at Target and here we have a Sukkah mimus this guy is really awesome

- I could hardly wait to review him next one is a Tyrannosaurus one of two so

besides the big one that I just did it looks like they're gonna have two other

ones one of them's gonna be that action one I believe that thrashing one

thrashing stomping one oh okay this one looks like a baby but I

guess they're gonna have a baby t-rex also but the Spinosaurus I'm super

excited for that one okay so here are just general velociraptors so two of

eleven so the rest of these are probably gonna be velociraptors you know

if I could get oh I could get info on all of them

I guess once you scan it in you'll be able to get more info more facts stuff

like that so like I said the rest of these will probably all be the same then

we'll go ahead and check out the rest of the island so that's some cool dinos but

you know what I've not seen the interrupter in here so where is the

interrupter I mean are you not gonna be able to scan them in that would be weird

because that's that's probably one of the main dinos okay so anyways let's go

back to the map let's check out here so here we have Mosasaurus ooh I like that

blue light so this would probably be the big Mosasaurus you'll be able to scan in

you can get cool facts on the Mosasaurus up to fifty six feet long and then here

we have the pterosaurs die more foot on one of three these pictures right here

are looking like the cages in Jurassic world the game I many of you guys play

that or watch my episodes you will know what I'm talking about

cool next we have Pteranodon one of seven Wow

they are going all out so hopefully they'll have some big ones too

that'll match up in size to the giant t-rex okay so like I said these guys

should all be the same so super excited guys I mean right now I am waiting for

the mailman to deliver the other six ones I told you about at the beginning

of this video and that is gonna be awesome

so she's about three feet tall as high as a countertop and then we have one

more so here we've got herbivores so you've got twenty herbivores here you've

got ankylosaurus one of one next one is the Gallimimus one of eight let's get

some facts on the Gallimimus she's about a thousand pounds similar to a grand

piano

so these will probably all be the same

super excited guys so most of the rest of this week and someone next week is

gonna be showing you new dinosaur toys and awesome battles you guys excited as

I am I am super excited I mean I don't like paying double retail price I mean I

feel I almost feel kind of cheated by Mattel we're not sending me them and

sending them to smaller channels but I guess I'm not important enough so this

is the min meat that looks almost like mini-me min me so that's another new one

Pachycephalosaurus so this guy's pretty common with the head-butting action get

some facts of this about 15 feet so long as a car okay so they were pretty big

and sino sera tops whoa ho cool so that's gonna be another new one that

they've not done in any of the Jurassic Park or Jurassic world lines

Protoceratops that's another one they haven't done I'm glad they're bringing

in some new herbivores okay Stegosaurus classic

stinky malach okay that guy's pretty cool so they're gonna be bringing three

of those some of these ones we're seeing are probably gonna come out in the

classic line especially like the spinosaurus and then Triceratops they're

gonna have two of these guys I'll be showing you wanted them this week so

we'll babe to scan in six of these dinos this week so that'll be fun in clear

soros one of one okay so we're back at the beginning get some ink lea soros

fast 32 feet long larger than an RV Wow guy was huge okay so do we have anything

else to do over here you got some facts if you install this out all your

progress on his door oh this is the same stuff we were looking at

the beginning so I mean if you want to pause and read any of this it'll take

too long for me to read everything

okay so back at the beginning so continue and then collection you can go

all you could go here we got all the carnivores here we got the herbivores

here we got the a planet oh the aquatic creatures here we've got the pterosaurs

and here we've got all so once you have all of them you'll just be able to ski

in right down there is this all no this is carnivores okay then here's what you

would click to scan well I'm showing you this on a computer so it's not gonna let

me do that and then here you've got a quiz so looks like you gotta get 60

points to unlock that so you'll jump into this habitat one and answer the

question what type of environment does the Stegosaurus live it rocky seashore

with a few different plants mountainside with low and thick bushes semi arid

plains with a wide variety of plants that sounds right to me

there you go you got two twins so sign of Sarah tops

I would say a wetland yep ten points okay mono lava soros lives

and martially and their small mountains and some volcanoes let's say true okay

thirty points here I'm just guessing quick so Gallimimus arid plains near

rivers and shallow lakes on rocky islands in tropical forests let's try

trouble ah - 15 ah what type of environment is a Spinosaurus living

grassy plains low mountains swamps and humid forests sandy deserts

let's try grassy plains Oh No the Baryonyx likes dry sandy deserts

Baryonyx true what type of environment does the Velociraptor live in Daphne's

not underwater not snowy mountains so dry environment is near what type of

environment are Dilophosaurus tracks found so Dilophosaurus volcanoes mono

luffa soros lives in marshland near small mountains and some volcanoes true

okay so I've got 50 points I need 60 what type of environment does very onyx

like best the grassy plains I guess not time's up Oh No continue so

next one fact in a hundred ten points okay so I didn't unlock the category

sorry I didn't take much time to think about it there so here you've got

settings privacy policy Oh kicked me out okay so it's basically settings ah here

you got music on or off I got music off because YouTube will think me they won't

let me monetize the video if I have music from another source but I do have

the sound on so one year playing this app you you're gonna get on Jurassic

world music so guys that's pretty much it for the app it looks really awesome

Can You Die of Loneliness? - Duration: 4:47.

Obesity, drugs, and alcohol abuse are routinely named as the fastest and surest ways to an

Disease, accidents, drowning, and burning are also reasons our lives are cut short.

Well if so, you're in the vast majority, as humans need, above and beyond everything

on him and our next guy is another Baryonyx it says four of 35 so these are

all dinos they're gonna be coming out with guys so here we got Velociraptor

blue one of three so again we're gonna have Velociraptor blue over here moving

on we have another Velociraptor blue and then we're gonna go to Carnotaurus so

Baryonyx true what type of environment does the Velociraptor live in Daphne's

not underwater not snowy mountains so dry environment is near what type of

environment are Dilophosaurus tracks found so Dilophosaurus volcanoes mono

luffa soros lives in marshland near small mountains and some volcanoes true

okay so I've got 50 points I need 60 what type of environment does very onyx

like best the grassy plains I guess not time's up Oh No continue so

next one fact in a hundred ten points okay so I didn't unlock the category

sorry I didn't take much time to think about it there so here you've got

settings privacy policy Oh kicked me out okay so it's basically settings ah here

you got music on or off I got music off because YouTube will think me they won't

let me monetize the video if I have music from another source but I do have

the sound on so one year playing this app you you're gonna get on Jurassic

world music so guys that's pretty much it for the app it looks really awesome

like I said we'll be skinned and in some cool dinosaurs later this week so you

guys are totally awesome if you enjoy the video please go ahead click like

drop me comments let me know what other dinos you want to see and also I do get

over a thousand videos guys the majority are Jurassic world Jurassic Park

Godzilla King Kong Power Rangers I'm gonna be doing all of the Jurassic world

What produces the most oxygen on earth? Trees don't produce most of the oxygen.. phytoplankton - Duration: 2:29.

Hello Planeteers…

How is it going?

This is the Curious Planet.

Today we are gonna be talking about the trees & the oceans & our beautiful planet Earth.

Oxygen is our life support, which makes Trees very important to us.

Regardless, they are being cut at an exponential rate.

We are all hell bent to make this planet devoid of all the Trees, Aren't we?

😊 But here is a fact which would give us some

respite in an era of detrimental environmental change.

If you think trees produce the most of the oxygen on our planet...

I urrrrge you to think again!!, Think harder…

Most of Earth's oxygen comes from the tiny ocean plants – called phytoplankton – they

live near the water's surface and drift with the currents.

Like all plants, they photosynthesize – which means, they use sunlight and carbon dioxide

to make food.

And a by-product of photosynthesis is oxygen.

This is how a phytoplankton looks:

Oxygen producing green geometrical shapes.

It appears the Creator made good use of his geometry box.

Scientists believe that phytoplankton contribute between 50 to 85 percent of the oxygen in

Earth's atmosphere.

The real numbers are a tough thing to calculate though.

Phytoplankton photosynthesis produces half(50%) of the world's oxygen, and remaining half(50%)

on land by trees, shrubs, grasses, and other plants.

Now assume if the generation of oxygen stopped immediately & completely today.

Still it would take a very long time for all the oxygen already in the atmosphere to be

used up by respiration of the life on earth.

So, apparently, we don't have to worry about the oxygen depletion.

But that doesn't mean it's alright to chop trees.

Cutting down forests, disturbs the ecology of the planet.

Trees bind the soil.

They make rain come down to us.

No trees, no rain.

No rain, no water, no life.

Also, It hurts the forest life, animals lose their habitat.

Unless we want lions & bears to come & live with us!!

Watch tv with us on our couch.

We have to protect our forests.

If they die, we all die!!

I may talk about the important forests around the world in the next episode!!

If you want that just lemme know in the comments.

Also, do lemme know how you feel about this episode.

Pretty much anything that comes to your mind.

It would be very meaningful to me.

Don't forget to like, share & Subscribe.

See you in the next video.

Until then.

Chao!!

These Anglerfish Are Sexual Parasites That Die Without Their Lovers - Duration: 2:44.

This is a female anglerfish and this is her mate.

And these are her other mates.

They are all locked lovers for life because… well… the males have no choice.

There are several hundred species of anglerfish, and a some suborders show extreme sexual dimorphism

- meaning females can be up to 60 times longer and half a million times heavier than males.

Their size difference makes them ideal candidates for a bizarre phenomenon known as sexual parasitism.

Basically, males need females to survive and females need males to reproduce.

But in the vast darkness and depths of the open ocean, finding each other can be an almost

impossible task.

To stand a chance, male anglerfish need to use their disproportionally large nostrils

to track the pheromonal cues of their lady loves and their complex and well-developed

eyes, so that they can confirm a female's identity.

Females can also flash their bioluminescent esca or 'lure,' to ensure that they attract

a partner of the same species.

When a male does find a female in the deep sea, he won't ever let her go – because

he can't.

Some parasitic male anglerfish lack a working digestive system, so in order to survive they

need to tap into the resources of female anglerfish.

They do this by fuse-mating aka sexual parasitism.

Males use their specialized hooked teeth to latch onto the female and then they release

an enzyme that dissolves the skin between them.

This gives males direct access to the female's digestive system for nutrition and her circulatory

system for gas exchange.

In return, he'll give her sperm.

But this doesn't mean the male can get lazy because his sperm is competing with several

other males that also call this female home.

At any given time a female can be host up to eight sperm-donating mates so it's important

that they all produce the very best swimmers.

Male anglerfish can live a long happy life… that is until their sugar momma dies and then

they'll follow shortly after, which is, I guess, romantic, in a dark Shakespearean

kinda way.

Meet GabaLeth - 'Animated' Q n' A - Duration: 4:49.

Hi I'm Gaba. Hi i'm Leth. Together, we are GabaLeth.

You might have noticed that we have the exact, same voice that's cuz, we're twins.

Don't worry. You can tell who's talking based on the icons to the side.

*inhales* What is your favorite Pokemon?.

Well, since so many of you asked...

If you could have any Pokemon in real life, what would it be?

Probably Chairizard for sitting!

What inspired you to animate or dub comics?

We've always liked drawing and doodling from a young age, and even drew comics featuring our stick figures back in the day.

Around 2012, we got inspired by

people like Nintendrawer, Saiiko,

NatSilva and TheBourgyman when it came to making fan art and comics online for others to see

After making a ton of comics on Deviantart

we slowly lost motivation and pretty much stopped creating comics for months on end

But THEN...

our thirst for online content creation

Was rejuvenated when I found out that others are dubbing our comics online. I thought, "Hey,

this is pretty neat, we could do this too!"

Since we were both design students we also had bought adobe's creative cloud.

Included within it was this nifty video editing program called adobe premiere pro.

So we started tinkering around with it and haven't looked back since.

Now, we both animate and dub comics on a regular basis.

The End.

What software do you use for animating,

Also, how long have you been animating for? We use premiere pro and I've been animating since January 2017.

My bro...

February of 2017.

If you guys want to know what other equipment we use, you can just look at the 'About' section of our youtube.

Favorite shiny?

Who would win in a fight? Ash versus Red

I'm afraid, you're gonna have to change your sign after this match!

you'll be formerly undefeated! If you could choose in which city slash town in Pokemon you could live, what would it be?

Hilbillybert! Could you please take out the trash?

(creppily) I'd take out the trash for you anytime...

But yeah I'd live in Nuvema town. Plus, there's only one bedroom in the whole house, so that

means the mom would have to- Do you plan on collaborating with anyone?

All the dubs you've done, which one is your favorite?

It's really outdated by now, but I really enjoyed making Link n' Zelda meet Red n' Blue.

One. Because I drew the entire thing. Two. I liked how Zelda turned out.

And three. Bluelda has a nice ring to itttt~

It's actually very hard for me to pick just one, so I'm just gonna throw a bunch on screen.

Do you

Do you like anime? If so, what's your favorite? Yeah! But it's so hard to choose a favorite-

Oh, more favorite Pokemon questions...

Also, what are your plans for this channel?

Are you planning on doing more than comic dubs?Even though they're awesome.

More Q & As.

We also plan on sharing some animated personal stories and stuff to help you guys know us a bit better.

Because for all you know

We're just a couple of robots who churn out content.

Would you take requests of some people wanting to do voiceover work?

We don't take requests,

but we usually hold auditions for most of our videos over at casting call club, so feel free to check out our

profiles for new projects and voice acting opportunities.

Alright that's gonna be all the Qs we go through in this video, but don't worry if your question wasn't answered.

We'll do a part two in the near future or whenever we feel like it, and

maybe your question will be answered then.

See you guys later, thank you.

Bye~

What If America had A Female President? - Duration: 4:01.

The united states, one of the most advanced nations on earth, is actually behind the times

when it comes to one thing.

It is one of the few countries on earth that has not elected a female president.

In its 229 years of being a country, not once has a woman been elected.

The united states ranks 97th in the world when it comes to women in politics, behind

countries like cuba, Sweden, Rwanda and south Africa.

Granted, This also has to do with the lack of women in politics in the united states,

there just aren't that many women who are qualified to be president, not as many as

men anyway.

But that seems strange since the united states is a leading advocate of women's rights.

Plus, we have seen that being qualified does not necessarily dictate whether or not a candidate

is fit for presidency.

During the 2016 election, many democrats thought that America was finally going to achieve

the milestone of electing a female president, but that, as we all know, didn't happen,

for one reason or another.

One has to wonder, would anything be different if a woman ran America?

Today, life's biggest questions asks, What if America had a female president?

Hello and welcome back to LBQ, I'm charlotte dobre.

Don't forget to like and subscribe and let us know in the comment section what topics

you would like to see next.

Firstly, if America had a female president, she would be called 'madame president'.

Her husband, rather than the first lady, would likely be called the first gentleman.

Though the exact name is uncertain because the united states has never had a first gentleman.

Maybe he would be first man or something, but that's beside the point.

Furthermore, the media would portray a female president in a different way than they portray

their male counterparts.

News outlets would often cover, and criticise her physical appearance, like what color pantsuit

she chose to wear.

There are many countries in the world that have paved the way for women in politics.

Britain had Margaret Thatcher, the iron lady, who ended up being Britain's longest serving

prime minister of the 21st century.

She was called the Iron Lady for her tough leadership and uncompromising politics.

Germany has Angela merkel, who has served as the chancellor of Germany since 2005.

Merkel demonstrated she was a gallant leader when it came to the refugee crisis and has

been described as the most powerful woman in the world.

But if America had a female president, one can assume there would be backlash.

It would be an incredible step forward in a country that has yet to elect a woman.

She would be judged very harshly by those who do not support her, just like how barack

Obama was treated because he is African American.

In the same way that Obama was criticised by racists, America's female president would

be criticised by misogynists.

Don't believe me?

Check out the comment section of this video.

Women won the right to vote much later than men, and are still climbing the latter of

equality.

That's according to Michael Genovese and Janie Stecjenrider of Loyola Marymount university.

And for this reason, women have been kept out of the Whitehouse.

Perpetuated stereotypes about a woman's ability to govern also keeps women out of

politics.

The idea of women being to emotional, their tendency to act on impulse, and being too

sensitive to criticism.

Truthfully, in terms of policy, not much would be different if a woman ran the united states.

The terms by which she governs would have a lot to do with her values, just like a male

president.

If she's a progressive president, she would be more lenient when it comes to things like

abortions.

A progressive female president would also value things like government programs and

put an emphasis on immigration and refugee programs.

If Madame President is a republican, she would be against abortions.

She would value a free market system, reduce taxes and create jobs where possible.

The ability to govern does not depend on gender, or what time of the month it is, if you catch

my drift.

It depends on a person's political ideology, policy and decision making.

So Will America ever have a female president?

Well perhaps that's a topic for another life's biggest questions.

For now, I'm charlotte odbre and thank you for tuning in.

If you enjoyed this video, you will love our playlist, biggest what if's clickable on

the screen right now.

As always make sure you click the bell so you never miss a video.

One day left!

To the release of the jewelry collection.

I don't know what you think.

But I think that...

We need to get shit done now.

I want to see commitment!

And mum, you have it all under control, yeah?

Perfect. Good!

Then I go and make myself a cup of coffee

And think a little about how we should do this. Ok? Good.

Can you please turn on the music again?

Yeah exactly, turn up the volume.

Just like that, good. Can you feel it now?

This is what we want to work with now.

So yeah, it all started with the viral video when I did the laundry in the snow.

Yesterday I was nobody.

And suddenly now I'm famous all over the world.

*Mention different newspapers and TV channels in Sweden*

What the hell are you doing?

Johan, this is important for me.

You also need to take serious on this.

I need to change with this!

And that's why I also understod that I need to change my name now.

Because now I am so famous so I cant keep my name Jonna Jinton anymore.

Its really hard, because they have been calling me all day.

Not interested.

Ya, have a good day. Bye

But I know that they just want to call me now because they know who I am.

They just want to call me to talk to me.

It was a car driving by earlier.

It was driving really, really slowly you know...

And I really felt how they stared.

Me and Johan might need to move away from here now.

Its going to be too hard to live here and be so recognized.

Animals...Thats life!

Thats really life.

Are you eating poop?!

Ewww! Sinaaq you are eating poop!

This is insane!

Now they are even coming with tractors here

They are chasing me!

Can We Talk About Riverdale? - Duration: 8:41.

(MARKER SCRATCHING)

(ELECTRONIC VIDEO GAME SOUND)

Hello.

So, today we're going to talk a little bit about pop culture,

which I haven't done in a little bit,

and I saw a show that just kinda blew my mind a little bit

so I really want to talk about it.

And what is that show?

It is Riverdale.

Of course, you already knew that by reading the title, but anyway...

So, I've heard about this show and I never started watching it

because, one, there's a bunch of other shows that I want to watch right now,

Hawaii Five-O and a whole bunch.

There's a whole bunch on my Netflix list

and it's just feeling impossible to get through them all.

But last week I went to my friend Bobby's house.

We were just, you know, talking and it was a time that I was having

and we were gonna watch something.

Originally, I wanted to watch Hawaii Five-O

but he wanted me to see Riverdale because he also started watching it.

And so we saw an episode and a half.

I don't remember the half of that episode that night because of things.

And I thought, I am very intrigued and now I have to see the rest of the show.

Let me just say two things.

One - this video is going to contain spoilers,

so, if you haven't seen the show,

you are more than welcome to watch this video

but don't yell at me about spoilers when...yeah.

And two - I've only seen season one.

I have not seen season two 'cause it's not on Netflix yet

and On Demand doesn't have Riverdale so I can't keep up that way.

So, to keep things a little easier in my head,

I did write some notes about the show so let's just go through it.

First thing's first - Camila Mendes and Cole Sprouse.

Camila, Camilla?

Camila is a very, very beautiful woman.

Alright, I am just gonna say that right now.

And Cole Sprouse. I grew up with Cole.

He was born in '92, I was born in '91, so we...

I grew up with him on the Disney Channel watching Suite Life of Zack and Cody

and, yeah, in my opinion, Cole also grew up very nicely.

Of course, it's probably weird to say this

when they're acting as teenagers on the show, so, yeah, that's not right.

But, anyway, Camila and Cole - very beautiful people.

One thing I noticed when I was looking at Hermione Lodge

is, one, it's weird hearing the word or seeing the word Hermione

in anything other than Harry Potter

because that's the only place I've seen the name.

But, most importantly,

if anyone grew up with Charmed and watched Charmed,

more specifically, I think, like, season five and six when Chris comes in,

when the second Charmed child comes in,

Hermione Lodge, the actress who plays her was Bianca.

And, when I was watching her as Hermione in the show,

I just kept looking at her and I'm like, why does she seem so familiar?

And, alas, she played Bianca, the girlfriend or fiancee of Chris.

Loved seeing her.

Now, let's move on to the actual, like, show part

and one of the things that I really noticed watching this show,

especially in, like, just the first episode,

just in maybe the first 15 minutes, this is, like, the show...

This is, like, what did I write it as?

The abusive parent show.

From Betty Cooper's parents, mostly her mom.

I mean, her dad was mm but...

Maybe it's from personal experience, but just the- the mom, right?

But then also Cheryl and Jason's parents.

Oh, my god, they...

They're the worst.

They are the worst

and I got so physically uncomfortable watching those two.

Just...mm.

And then, you know, when you find out that Jason dies

and then Cheryl's, you know, upset, obviously,

and the way that she talks about Jason,

was there some kind of incest relationship going on between the two

or maybe not like that, but Cheryl...

I am pretty convinced that Cheryl had some feelings

that weren't quite just, like, "You're my sibling."

Like, it was just...

That definitely made me feel a little uncomfortable.

And, you know, as they were going through who killed Jason,

who killed Jason,

part of me was thinking that maybe Miss Grundy was the one to shoot Jason

because there was a little bit of motive there, I guess,

because Jason and Miss Grundy

had a little bit of a relationship going on, I think.

Then, as it just kept going, I was thinking,

OK, it doesn't seem like it's her

but I also feel like Miss Grundy, like, left the series too quickly.

Like, it was kinda like out of left field.

I don't know but then I kind of easily forgot about her once she left.

The ultimate reveal - when we find out that the father,

Jason and Cheryl's father, actually killed Jason.

Half of me was surprised and half of me was not

'cause, as you know, the build-up is coming,

the episodes are going and the way that the father is acting,

I'm thinking, OK, it's one of the parents, definitely,

because this family is so dysfunctional

and the parents are so awful that it just has to be one of them.

I can't believe that it's a Serpent.

I can't believe that it's...

Actually, now that I remember,

I was also sort of convinced that Cheryl was actually the one who did it.

And then, when she was like, "I'm guilty," at that one cliffhanger,

I was thinking, yeah, OK, yeah.

But then I thought it was too soon for this.

Like, we're not pulling an L Word.

We're not pulling a whole Jennifer Schecter thing.

But then, once we get to the actual reveal that it's one of the parents,

I'm going, that makes absolute perfect sense.

I will say I wasn't expecting the whole drugs thing, though.

It shouldn't shock me because that's used all the time in TV,

but I didn't completely see that coming.

And then I finally got to the season finale.

It took me a couple of extra days because I was dealing with other stuff

and I finished it last night because I wanted to do this video today,

so I told myself, I need to finish the season finale.

I have a lot of feelings about this, especially about Cheryl.

When she tried to kill herself, that made me a little bit emotional

and, when she was burning down her home, that made me feel very, very emotional.

Fred getting shot.

And I did already look and I found out that Fred is still alive,

so that makes me happy,

but I did not want to wait until season two to find that out.

Like, I don't know when I'm gonna be able to watch season two

and I just didn't want to wait.

I needed to know now.

I needed to know now if he was alive or dead.

And so moving on back to Cheryl, my thoughts on Cheryl,

I really don't like her but I also really, kind of, love her

and I always seem to have...

I always seem to be really into the antagonist in the show for some reason.

But, at the same time, I also end up really disliking the antagonist.

I don't know. It's really weird to me.

The way that she treats the people in the school, I hated it,

but then, when she gets to her...

When you get to the scene with her parents,

then I start to feel a little bit for her

because going through the same experiences

and I get that same experience when I watch Betty and her mom and oh, god...

That whole Polly thing was a mess, by the way.

That was just, OK, that's OK.

And then finding out that Coopers are Blossoms and...

Basically, I was saying this on Facebook already.

This show hurts my brain

because there's so many things that are going on at once just like this video.

But I don't think you can have a real clear video

when you're talking about Riverdale, honestly.

So, I was trying to figure out what I really think about Cheryl

and I have such conflicting thoughts.

I really just don't know.

But I would love to know what you think about Cheryl

and Veronica and Archie and Betty and Jughead.

I'm very curious to see what happens with Jughead

'cause, you know, when you get to the end and the Serpents give him the jacket

and, you know, Betty is right there

and she sees, like, he's really into having this jacket and putting it on.

And I'm guessing in season two I'm gonna see that he really starts to have

this, I guess, identity crisis, for lack of a better word,

where he's gonna feel attached to the Serpents,

but also attached to Betty,

but Betty isn't gonna like the fact that he's with the Serpents

and then it's gonna kind of be like a tug of war type of thing

between these three different people

or these two different people and this whole group of people.

That's gonna be interesting to see.

Those are my thoughts on Riverdale.

I would love to know what you think about the show.

Please, no spoilers for season two.

Let me know your thoughts on Cheryl, especially,

because I'm just so confused,

Top 10 Super Villains Who Were Right - Duration: 5:52.

Welcome back nerd squad, my name is Roya Destroyaa and this is Top 10 Nerd.

Have you ever been watching a movie or reading a comic and said to yourself, Òdude the bad

guy doesnÕt seem so bad at allÓ?

Well, you gotta admit, sometimes the villains donÕt have a bad idea at all.

Maybe they go about it the wrong way, but maybe they actually are right in this situation?

So letÕs take a look at the top 10 VILLAINS WHO WERE RIGHT.

In the number 10 spot, we have LEX LUTHOR.

LuthorÕs ultimate goal is to rid the world of Superman, and why exactly is he trying

so hard to do this?

Because heÕs hungry for power right?

Well, maybe getting rid of Suerman wouldnÕt be such a bad thing?

The existence of an alien being on earth who can do just about anything totally undermines

everything humanity has ever accomplished after years of hard work, making it likely

that humanity just stops trying and becomes dependant.

And thereÕs no guarantee that this being will always be good.

So get rid of the problem now and society can return to its rightful balance.

Coming in at number 9, IS JIGSAW from Saw.

When several life events showed John Kramer exactly how previous and fleeting life was,

he didnÕt look too fondly on those who took their life for granted.

Druggies, prostitutes, thieves, he kidnapped them all and placed them in life or death

traps that ended up showing his victims how much they valued their lives.

If they escaped alive, of course.

But the man was right: we as people take our lives for granted.

We say yolo and make bad choices, when really we should say yolo and make good, life-preserving

choices.

If anything, just to avoid that nasty reverse bear trap.

Next, at number 8 IS JAFAR from Aladdin.

Jafar wants to become the ruler of Agrabah.

But hold on a second: it turns out right from the start of the movie, he was already controlling

the real sultan through hypnotism, so the sultan was performing his every whim.

And what did Agrabah look like under JafarÕs indirect rule?

Pretty great actually: good economy, low crime rate except for that damn Aladdin, happy citizens.

Looks like he was right all along when he thought himself to be the best ruler.

Certainly better than that ditsy Sultan.

In the number 7 spot we have CARRIE from Carrie.

Poor Carrie just wanted to be a normal high school girl.

She didnÕt ask for a crazy mother who would lock her in a prayer closet.

She didnÕt ask for the kids at school to bully her.

All she asked for was a nice prom evening.

And she got it.

For a little while.

But we all know what happens next.

So you know what, those bullies had it coming.

Sometimes the only way to end bullying is to stand up for yourself.

Maybe not, you know, massacring everyone in the room.

But you know what I mean.

Coming in at number 6 we got KINGPIN.

Wilson fisk isnÕt a crime lord for the money or notoriety.

Well, maybe thatÕs part of it.

But he is a crime lord because he believes what heÕs doing helps the community.

If crime is going to exist, it must be organized and controlled.

And heÕs not wrongÑ some level of crime will always exist.

If having this guy at the top prevents mob wards, chaos, and total violence, then so

be it.

Next up, at number 5 IS THE WICKED WITCH OF THE WEST from the wizard of oz.

The wicked witch of the west never wanted to take over the world.

Hell, she didnÕt even want to capture Dorothy or eat Dorothy or steal DorothyÕs identity

or any of those fun things.

She just wanted a pair of shoes.

And not because they were super fly kicks, but because they belonged to her dead sister.

A sister Dorothy killed by smashing into her with her house, and then stealing her shoes!

So say sheÕs wicked all you want, those shoes were rightfully hers.

And we all know how passionate some people can be about shoes, youÕve seen those black

Friday videos.

Up next at number 4 is POISON IVY.

Compared to some of the other villains in BatmanÕs gallery, poison ivy is probably

one of the more important ones in a way.

This is because she brings up a really good point: we take crap care of our planet.

And our planet, especially the greenery, is kind important for, you know, living??

So her methods may be a little insane, but sheÕs thinking pretty clearly here.

Everything she does is so that she can escape humanity and live with her beloved plants.

Is that really so bad?

In the number 3 spot, WE HAVE OZYMANDIUS (oh-zee-man-dee-us).

ThereÕs even question as to whether this guy was even a villain or not.

When he observed the chaos and isolation of the nations around him, Adrian concocted a

plan to pull the world back into union, even if it meant a little destruction along the

way.

He wanted to pose a catastrophic event that would be so bad, it would bring the world

together to fight it.

And we have seen how countries pull together after disasters like earthquakes or terrorist

attacks.

The guy was smart.

But the peace never remains for long.

Coming in at number 2 IS MAGNETO.

While professor X is campaigning for a peaceful co-existance between humans and mutants, Magneto

is in opposition.

It is a little ironic that Magneto would be so against integration when he himself is

a victim of the segregation of world war 2.

But take a look around in the xmen world.

Mutants are subject to registration acts, warfare, and prisons.

Perhaps heÕs not all wrong.

In fact, he could be championed as the hero, at least from the mutantÕs point of view.

I mean, thereÕs gotta be a reason for those Magneto is right shirts.

And finally, in the number 1 spot WE GOT SAURON (sour-on) FROM LORD OF THE RINGS.

Sauron is the evil overlord of the rings, amassing his armies and trying to descend

upon middle earth.

But have you seen those good guy sauron memes?

ThereÕs a reason!

While he appeared as the oppressor, he was actually the hero to the oppressed minority,

the orcs.

The poor orcs were the underprivileged that Sauron welcomed into his inclusive army and

provided for.

So now you tell me whoÕs right.

The guy who gave a voice to the disenfranchised, or the guy who was obsessed with a piece of

ugly jewelry.

So those were the top 10 VILLAINS WHO WERE RIGHT.

Let me know in the comment section down below which villainÕs cause you would support.

My name is Roya Destroyaa, thanks for watching, and donÕt forget to subscribe so you never

miss another nerdy list!

Most Philosophical Game Ever? – The Philosophy of NieR: Automata – Wisecrack Edition - Duration: 16:10.

Hey, Wisecrack!

Jared here, and today we're talking about a game that was seemingly made for us.

Perhaps the most overtly philosophical game ever - "It seems this Nietzsche was quite

the profound thinker."

— NieR:Automata.

NieR:Automata is game about 3 androids: 2B, as in or not 2B, the moody 9S, and the jaded

A2.

Along the way, they fight adorable but lethal machines, and eventually each other, on a

futuristic earth where the line between right and wrong has taken a vacation and is never

coming back.

The world of NieR:Automata is crawling with machines named after philosophers whom you

must befriend or behead - mostly the latter.

But these wisdom-loving death bots aren't always just throwaway characters, they often

point toward the complex philosophy at the heart of the game.

At its core, NieR:Automata challenges players to consider how we make meaning and truth,

who we are as gamers, and why video games matter.

Welcome to this Wisecrack Edition on the philosophy of NieR:Automata.

This video was made in collaboration with an awesome channel called Extra Credits.

You can catch a link to them and their video on NieR:Automata at the end of this episode.

And if you're visiting us from Extra Credits, welcome and be sure to subscribe!

Oh, and watch out — major spoilers ahead.

The story takes place on Earth more than nine thousand years in the future and follows two

groups of automata.

There's androids designed to hold human consciousness, but who eventually developed

independent thought, and machines, who were created by the aliens that invaded earth.

Androids and machines fight a genocidal proxy war on behalf of their masters.

Though the player mostly controls android characters, choosing sides is not that easy

because by the game's halfway point, we learn both humans and aliens have been dead

for millennia.

"Humans were already extinct when the aliens attacked."

Absent their creators, Androids and machines are forced to make meaning for themselves,

and, if possible, stop seeing each other as enemies.

The fact that both humans and aliens are dead is not only a central plot twist; it encapsulates

the game's existential philosophy.

In fact, 2B's opening line: "I often think about the god who blessed us with this cryptic

puzzle, and wonder if we'll ever have the chance to kill him," might as well have been

pulled right from Friedrich "Porn-stache" Nietzsche, who wrote, "God is dead.

God remains dead.

And we have killed him."

Now, I know, the phrase "God is Dead" gets thrown around a lot by internet edgelords,

but what did Nietzche actually mean?

Before Nietzsche, many thinkers constructed reality in a similar way: God, Truth, and

Reason were all unfallible, unchanging, and universal concepts, which stood above or outside

of humankind, like supernatural forces animating the world and moving it toward progress.

In this view, humans don't make and control meaning themselves, it's some unreachable

deity or universal principle which gives human action meaning.

When Nietzche declared god dead, he criticized any system that locates the source of meaning

outside human lives, and popularized the idea of nihilism.

Nihilism is the belief that there is no great metaphysical force propelling us through the

world and making our lives special.

Existence can be shitty, and there's no grander meaning to comfort us, no puppet master

to save us.

Now, I know we can find Nietzsche in a lot of pop culture, but no piece of media embodies

it quite like NieR:Automata.

Androids and machines think their God-like masters are literally above them, on the moon

and in space, but those Gods are actually dead — like, rotting for millennia, dead.

As we learn from Adam and Eve, machines killed their alien overlords because they were static

and unchanging — much like the unchanging deities and morals Nietzsche criticized.

"Oh, there's no need to fret about them.

They were simple, infantile, almost like plants, I guess you'd say."

Humans died after the mainframe holding their consciousnesses collapses — guess nobody

made backups.

If 'the death of god' is really about 'the death of a grand meaning,' then our dead aliens

and humans are only one element of the game's greater message about meaning.

You kill some of philosophy's biggest heroes, some characters lose sight of a purpose in

life, and the game repeatedly builds meaning around certain characters or plots and then

kills them off, usually by the player's own hand.

Each time this happens, the player has to reevaluate where their new meaning, mission,

and direction is going to come from.

Even YorHa, the android organization, eventually dies.

But YorHa is less like a god and more like a seedy government.

They know humanity's dead but hide it from the other androids.

Pretty fucked up, right?

YorHa perfectly exemplifies the Nietzschian point that, even once god's six feet under,

society doesn't just reboot.

Political, social, and psychological norms are left over from prior belief systems, and

we continue imposing these meanings on one another and ourselves.

2B and 9S, spend much of the A and B playthroughs reassuring one another that machines don't

have emotions or personhood — "They don't have any feelings.

They're just imitating human speech."

— even when all evidence points to the contrary.

"Child.

Child."

No need for human masters to promote this idea, they do it to each other.

For Nietzsche, the best response to a meaningless universe and a dead God is to create meaning

for ourselves, or what he referred to as self-making.

In Nier:Automata, we encounter different machines named after philosophers engaged in this kind

of self-making — each with their own responses to the meaning or meaninglessness of life.

There are quite a few existentialist machines to be found: Jean-Paul, as in Sartre, Simone

as in de Beauvoir, Pascal as in Pascal, and Kierkegaard as in Kierkegaard.

Each philosopher machine offers us a glimpse into one way of pursuing meaning.

Take Jean Paul, the avatar of Jean-Paul Sartre.

In the game, JP is basically a dark parody of his real life self.

Just like Sartre loathed institutional recognition, Jean-Paul is kind of an asshole who ignores

his devoted followers except for the pretty ones and eventually fucks off to the wilderness

to find meaning.

Nobody really misses him.

But before leaving, Jean-Paul highlights the game's themes when he throws around one

or two famous Sartre-isms, like the existentialist slogan, "existence precedes essence."

Essentially, rather than some innate nature determining who we are before we're born,

each individual first exists in the world and then develops meaning and purpose.

It's all about radical freedom to become who we are through our actions and choices.

In the game, we see this everywhere, as machines transcend their intended purpose and find

new meaning.

Even the pods prove that their nature comes from existence, not a predetermined essence,

as they develop self consciousness.

"I must look very silly."

In fact, most of the characters in the game are, as Sartre once suggested, condemned to

be free.

That's right: condemned.

Because without a higher power or innate nature controlling our actions, we bear ultimate

responsibility for our decisions, even as morality becomes super ambiguous.

And that's a tough place to be.

Just look at machines like this sad Engles boss who, like many of the game's characters,

is crushed beneath the weight of figuring out what's right, and he knows he bears

full responsibility for those decisions.

The Simone boss, named after Simone de Beauvoir, a French feminist philosopher, holds a mirror

to another aspect of meaning-making.

de Beauvoir famously suggested, "One is not born a woman, but becomes a woman."

As the Simone boss realizes, one way we create meaning in our lives is by constructing certain

gender norms like beauty and femininity.

She literally becomes a woman by constructing herself and cannibalizing other machines to

improve her beauty.

Both de Beauvoir and her demented avatar teach us to watch out, lest we become monsters in

our attempt to make meaning through gender norms.

Simone's existential quest for connection through beauty is highlighted in her obsession

with Jean-Paul, which has historical roots, since de Beauvoir and Sartre were life-long

lovers.

The character of Pascal packs one of the biggest Nietzschian punches.

Though he's the avatar of Blaise Pascal, a mathematician, philosopher, and regular

renaissance man, he couldn't be more different than his real life counterpart.

As the pacifist leader of a machine village, Pascal puts a lot of faith in the ultimate

goodness of machines and androids.

But the real Pascal was a bit of a downer.

Unlike his idealistic avatar, real Pascal thought humanity was prideful, arrogant, and

unredeemable.

Without god, our lives are filled with anxiety and despair.

In fact, we have only one redeeming trait: "The greatness of human beings consists in

their ability to know their wretchedness."

But game Pascal comes around to the IRL Pascal's viewpoint.

In maybe the game's darkest twist, the peaceful villagers suddenly start eating each other

and when, even after setting aside his pacifism to defend the children — "I must protect

the children!" — they commit suicide anyway.

Game Pascal finally understands the wretchedness of himself and the machine.

When he despairs and asks you to kill him or delete his memory, the player has to face

their own wretchedness too and make a tough choice.

Some characters in the NieR universe try to make meaning through new religions.

Take Christian existentialist, Soren Kierkegaard, who makes an ironic appearance as the worshiped

leader of a small cult.

Kierkegaard believed the ultimate expression of one's freedom is to commit to certain

meaning and make it true by manifesting it in one's life, which he calls taking a leap

of faith.

Unfortunately, when some of Kierkegaard's followers take literal leaps of faith, it

doesn't turn out so well for them.

There are so many other philoso-bosses we could talk about: Karl Grün, Kant, Engles

and Marx, Ernst Bloch, Hegel, even the brothers Friedrich and August Schlegel.

Ro-shi, Ko-Shi, Boko-Shi, and So-Shi, are the Japanese pronunciations of Chinese philosophers

Laozhi, Confucius, Mozi, and Zhuangzi.

Zhuangzi was a Daoist philosopher who was into existentialism way before it was cool.

He claimed existence is full of cycles of light and dark, life and death, joy and sadness.

Only by accepting these cycles, including all unpleasant stuff, can we find contentment

in life.

NieR:Automata, taking a cue from Zhuangzi, bakes these cycles right into the gameplay.

As an extension of the game's existential themes, the mechanics emphasize the role of

cycles and repetition in creating meaning.

Cycles are everywhere: androids are caught in the cycle of life and death, repeatedly

uploading to the mainframe and getting new bodies.

2B is stuck in the cycle of killing 9S, and Pod 153 gives a sad spiel about cycles of

life: "Everything that lives is designed to end."

It's all about returning to the beginning.

According to Nietzsche, cycles dispel the myth of "progress."

Progress only makes sense if you have a clear aim, and if you're cool staying on a path

someone else laid out for you.

But Nietzsche hates that notion of progress.

Instead, we should be critical of claims to progress that rely on external meaning or

our unquestioned notions of right and wrong.

The cycles in Automata disrupt this false idea of progress and meaning, not only within

the game universe, but also for the player.

In Automata, there is no clear goal, or rather, goals change throughout the game, and the

whole point is that none of the characters are on a predetermined path.

Plus, there's no straightforward game progress, players literally repeat certain actions or

stories, rather than moving linearly from one event to the next.

The game even ends with the suggestion that A2 and 9S will be reborn to fight this battle

all over again.

"They are perpetually trapped in a never ending spiral of life and death."

In fact, relationship between cycles and Nietzsche are most obvious in the game's multiple

playthrough structure.

In Automata, the main playthroughs A, B, C, D and E are like chapters, carefully sequenced,

and building on one another, often repeating parts of the same plot, but through the eyes,

knowledge, and powers of different characters, and sometimes moving on to the next plot stage.

You must the complete A through D to get to the main ending, E, with the credits, which

we'll talk about in a moment.

Automata uses this structure to strip meaning from the players themselves, and to f**k with

the idea of game progress, engaging players in their own nihilist quest.

Consider the difference between the first and second playthroughs, where you play as

2B and then 9S in parallel stories.

In the first play, as 2B, you learn the aliens are dead and the machine's we've been

killing are actually sentient and emotional.

Of course, they could have just told us this straight out, but instead they make us relive

every sh*tty thing we did to those poor bastards and now, we feel terrible about it.

The real importance of the first run is to set up meaning — here's who you are and

why you're fighting the bad guys — and then snatch it from us.

The point is really driven home by the beginning of the second playthrough, where you play

from the perspective of a machine red shirt.

This opening seems designed to trigger the player's compassion and rob us of the meaning

we used to make sense of our entire first quest.

"Brother, please start moving."

Instead of creating a grand narrative to explain away pain or loss, or instead of just giving

up, Nietzsche suggested we say "yes" to life.

Yes-saying is an attitude oriented toward the future, that affirms everything from the

past without trying to change it.

Imagine you had to live the same life over and over in what Nietzsche calls eternal recurrence.

This would be super crappy if you thought life was about avoiding pain and suffering.

But yes-saying embraces suffering and the lessons it brings us, without glorifying them.

The game's final, Nietzschian middle finger to progress and ultimate meaning comes in

ending E. Here, players literally have to kill their gods and make a difficult choice

between progress, which lets them save all their data and advancement in the game, and

yes-saying, which entails accepting their mistakes and be willing to start over.

As the credits role, and you battle the names of the game's designers and creators, which

are somehow shooting shit at you, messages from other players around the world encourage

you until you're finally joined by their avatars, who sacrifice themselves for your

success.

And I don't use sacrifice lightly: as you discover at the end when you're asked to

do the same, all those avatars are there because in some other time and place, maybe before

you even started playing, other players finished the game and chose to delete their data and

game saves for the ability to eventually help you, a total stranger, complete the game.

Here, we're asked: what makes gaming meaningful?

Do we believe in the myth of progress, that what makes them meaningful is completing them,

saving our data, and having achieved something once and for all?

Or are we yes-sayers, willing to start over, from the beginning, and make the same choices

and maybe even the same mistakes, again?

Are we individual automata, who only fight for ourselves, or is gaming about the lessons

we learn and engaging a community?

Does one player deserve the sacrifice made by others?

And should we sacrifice ourselves for people we don't know or might not even like?

What makes gaming meaningful is truly up to the player.

If you affirm progress, nothing happens.

But if you say "yes" to suffering and loss instead, all your saves and play get

deleted, and you return to the beginning, to do it all again.

Or maybe you'll do it differently.

"A future is not given to you.

It is something you must take for yourself."

See?

Cycles!

As a game, NieR:Automata itself embraces suffering, both of its characters and its players.

But only in order to tell a powerful philosophical story, as only an interactive game could.

Does it pan out like they hoped?

Is the game worth all the feels it elicits in an attempt to make its point about meaning?

Well that's up to you.

But if you're one of the yes-sayers whose sacrifice made my journey possible, you should

know it means something to me.

And part of the reason it means something to me is because this ending is a rare example

of game developers baking empathy into the gameplay.

While video games are, on the surface, all about saving the world and helping people,

most of them lack core components of what make acts truly empathetic.

To learn more about how NieR:Automata breaks the mold, you'll have to check out our collaborators

over at Extra Credits, who have broken down the ending in a whole new light.

The Ordinary Serums & Acids REVIEW VS Their Expensive Dupes part 2 + DECIEM DRAMA | Raquel Mendes - Duration: 23:42.

hello so today we're here to talk about skincare and I haven't done a skincare

video in such a long time I know a lot of you wanted me to do one and by the

way if you do like skincare I just relaunched my blog and it's gonna have a

lot of topics on it but it's gonna be mostly skincare for sure

so let's get to it so this is a part 2 if you haven't watched part 1 I'm gonna

link it here and also below so basically what we're going to do we're going to

take products from the ordinary brand that are very affordable and compare

them to their more expensive dupes I'm just gonna tell you how I feel about

them with which one I prefer which one I think is worth investing in um I'm not

an expert in ingredients I know a little about it I'm not an expert on it and I

will never claim to be what I do in these types of videos is I tell you how

I feel about the product and I tell you the results I feel using the product so

as someone commented oh she knows nothing about ingredients all about how

it feels on the skin I'm gonna watch Stephanie Nicole do Stephanie Nicole

knows a lot about ingredients you also want to know a lot about ingredients and

stuff you can check out Caroline Hirons

will talk a little bit about ingredients but to me what's most important above

all is results so that's what I'm gonna talk about and also I'm gonna talk about

different textures how they feel on the skin and everything like that so if you

are my type of person or you just want to see what I'm talking about let's jump

into it because it's gonna be a long video I'm gonna have time stamps below

to every of the dupes so every time I switch to a new products gonna be your

time stamp below just in case you just want to check out one or two the first

one I'm gonna talk about is the hyaluronic acid I talked about this one

last time as well and I compared it to the drunk elephant Hydra one the skin

ceuticals b5 and also the hylamide one the pink

one glossier hadn't yet come to the UK so I had another chance to try it

because I know like glossier if there were three serums aren't very often

compared to three of the ordinary seems so right now we're talking the ordinary

hyaluronic acid 2% + b5 against the glossier super bounce hyaluronic acid

plus vitamin b5 I don't know if you can tell but this bottle is almost to the

top and this bottle is almost empty if you are on a tight budget I definitely

recommend that you go for this it's such a money saver and they're really not

that far apart in terms of results but I do slightly prefer this one this one

also doesn't have hydrogenated castor oil which a lot of the ordinary serums

do have some of them don't but this one does and I know that breaks some people

out in texture like this is tackier but in terms of results I just feel like

this one gives an extra bounce to it and maybe the name is appropriate but if

you're looking for an affordable option I'd still very much recommend this one

it's really good and as soon as I finished this one I'll probably go on

this one a lot too so so now we're going to go into the second most famous pair

which is ordinary niacinamide 10% plus zinc 1% and the glossier super pure

which is niacininamide plus zinc it doesn't say the percentage but you know

I feel like this one is a little better than this one I really prefer this one a

lot more especially if you have oily skin because it's very liquid again

sinks in super fast this one is more of a gel type of situation but again if you

are in a budget this is still a very very good second option they feel

similar they're not that different I'm just a very picky skin care person

because I have loads and loads and loads of products so if I have both at my side

I'm gonna pick that glossier but let's say this month I don't have as

much money and I'm running it out definitely still get this or if I'm just

starting out my skincare routine and my skincare arsenal definitely definitely

very good still to have moving on it I still want to talk about the zinc one I

ran out of the Alpha Arbutin one but I did mention it in my last video I think

oh my god I didn't I did have the alpha arbutin one but I ran out of it and I

didn't keep the bottle and I'm an idiot but basically we have this Oskia london

renaissance bright light intensive pigmentation and

treatment this is basically a serum that has both zinc and niacinamide but also

has alpha arbutin so it's a two in one sort of situation it still ends up

being much more expensive than this and the Alpha arbutin put together again I

do prefer the oskia one with the alpha arbutin one I never saw much

difference I don't know if it's because of the products or know if it's because

it was just that one ingredient that I didn't notice made any difference I

don't know if in this one the mix-up of the three ingredients makes it more

potent and works better but it does work better I feel like this one works a lot

better on spots it does have a slightly oily or feeling than the others the

others are more gel like goopy like this is very very liquid if you want to get

the other two and just mix them up you can 2 drops of one 2 drops of the other

and just I'm saying just in terms of like the experience of applying it and

also the absorption and also results I do prefer the oskia one and I want to

get in vitamin C in the last video I compared their vitamin C which I don't

have because I got rid of it because it was I can't

the vitamin C suspensions 23% + ha spheres of 2% I could not get along with

it it was very gritty it made my skin very irritated it didn't layer well with

other skin care basically the texture was very silicone e I did compare it to

the drunk elephant vitamin C which I don't like either but I felt like it's a

little bit better in terms of texture and to this sunday riley CEO which i

still have and love and absolutely love ever since then the ordinary have come

up with other types of vitamin c one of the criticisms was that the vitamin c in

the CEO wasn't the same type of vitamin c that was in the ordinary that's

completely valid again I'm not an expert ingredient but to me vitamin C vitamin C

so what I will want to see is results and have a nice experience using

the product but that's a totally valid claim and they actually did release that

type of vitamin C that the CEO has which is called the vitamin F that transforms

into vitamin C when applied to the skin I feel like that's what it's like I

don't know how great it is ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate solution 20% in vitamin f in

it also says like below and tiny letters high-strength oil solubilised

vitamin C derivative in vitamin F so this is a more accurate comparison

than the one before I did try it out I do like this a lot more than I like the

other vitamin C the the sphere is one that was just horrible for me and this

is a much much more pleasant experience I feel like this though in terms of

texture is a little bit more similar to the drunk elephant more because it's

kind of like an oily solution whereas this is more of a milky cream I do super

for the CEO but I do recommend this if you want to get a vitamin C out of their

whole vitamin C range which is huge now the Ordinaries I definitely recommend

the vitamin F one because for me in terms of texture and results it's the

best one they also came out with a vitamin C suspension 30 percent in

silicone but I hate it just because I don't like silicone II textures it feels

like you're applying like a pore smoothing primer which is not what I

want to feel when I'm applying skincare then everything that I put on top is not

gonna be easily absorbed and that's what happened with the other vitamin C as

well so honestly I don't really jam with this texture they also just recently

came out with vitamin C powder that you can add every single one of their

products so I don't know if that's something that interests you but I'm

gonna link it below as well because the thing around vitamin C it's that it's

very perishable and it isn't stable in most solutions so you have to find

tricky ways to make it still active and that's

where like the vitamin C powder comes in because you just put it on the thing and

it's still active I don't really like the sound of powder I don't know if it's

gonna be gritty hopefully not I also want to give another mention that again

in terms of ingredients has nothing to do with vitamin C but I wanted to

mention as an anti spot and brightening serum we have the caudalie vinoperfect

serum the radiance serum complexion correcting and I wanted to mention this

why because this has no sort of vitamin C but has a very special ingredient

called viniferinn so all of the caudalie products come in a way from grapes grape

water grape extra grape seed oil anything that is from grapes is caudalie

basically so they have this serum that has viniferin and they say in studies

that they conducted so I don't know how credible they can be but they say it can

be up to 62 times more powerful than vitamin C which is the high high like

assumption to make in any case I really do love this serum this is I think my

third bottle of the serum it's a very very good serum it's my favorite serum

to wear in the summer because it's anti-spot but

at the same time it doesn't have vitamin C and it doesn't have all those things

that can make your skin more sensitive to the Sun when use like vitamin C any

kind of acid any kind of ingredient that's gonna brighten up did you tell

you to layer on that SPF so I'm going on vacation and I'm in direct sunlight

every single day this is the serum I prefer to use only because it doesn't

make my skin as photosensitive as the others I still do feel like it works

really good on spots it's hard to know which one works the best but for me my

favorite two anti spots are definitely these two there isn't really a dupe in

the ordinary range I just want to give it an honourable mention and we also

gotta talk about the glossier vitamin C of course so this is the glossier super

glow serum vitamin C plus magnesium and like this again because it's such a

weird ingredient that goes bad very fast it's hard to put it in a nice enjoyable

to wear texture and I feel like the ones that I enjoy the most are the vitamin F

ones if it is vitamin C it's better than all the others

because it's a very liquidy liquids sinks in super fast it feels a little

slightly oily but not as much as a drunk elephant more for example if we take the

caudalie completely out of the equation I'd say it's first to CEO then the

ordinary vitamin F and then the glossier and then all the other vitamin C

basically I just wouldn't touch them I know a lot of people like them I just I

hate them the last time around I talked about the ordinary glycolic acid 7%

toning solution so I compared it I know at least to the pixi glow tonic which

is five percent and one of my paula's choice which is 10 percent

but ever since I have two others that kind of chimed in first we have the nip

and fab glycolic fix liquid glow extreme six percent so I'm not going to talk

about any pads here because I feel like that's another whole type of solution

and if the ordinary ever does pad then I'll talk about it seven percent and

this is six percent although I do feel like this feels a little bit harsher on

the skin between the two of them I do like this one a little bit better if you

have skin that is very rough that doesn't get irritated easily maybe you

like this one of those solutions that's more harsh that's more towards teenage

skin so it tightens up the pores a little bit more even though it is

alcohol-free it's not a bad product at all I just preferred this a little bit

better this one though has a glycolic acid and a little bit of lactic acid as

well and salicylic acid and we also have the cosrx AHA 7 Whitehead power

liquid I have this the other time around I didn't want to mention it because I

know that in Europe not that easy to get your hands on

CosRx I don't know why I feel like they should have made their way here so

much sooner but I know that a lot of my audience is from the US so I decided to

include this time around this is seven percent and this is seven percent

they're slightly different textures this is a bit more essence-y that's why it comes in

a pump as well and this is way more liquid I feel like it could maybe wear

this daily or if you have sensitive skin like me like every other day and this I

feel like for me would be a twice a week or three times a week type of thing just

because it's more I feel like it works a little bit harsher just as I explained

with the paula's choice ten percent even though this is 7 percent I don't

know why I feel like it's a little bit stronger so this does sensitize my skin

a little bit more but I love them equally this was bound to come on this is

the aha 30% plus BHa 2% peeling solution 10-minute exfoliating facial

and then we have the drunk elephant TLC sukari baby facial 25% aha a 2% BHa

just in terms of acids this is a little bit stronger

I feel like drunk elephant prides themselves and making acids more usable

on sensitive skin so what they do usually in their formulations is they

add a lot of really good ingredients really hydrating and soothing

ingredients and then sneak in the acids like you know you're getting it but

you're still soothing what I can say is before I was on accutane this used to

sting a little bit not too much just you know that thing that you know it's

working like not like fire I need to get it off just a little tingling and this

would not while I was on accutane both of them are very uncomfortable to use

I'd say this is a little bit more gentle but not like too much so again I feel

drunk elephant do hike up their prices a lot I love their products I really do

the only one I don't like is the vitamin C one all their other products i

absolutely love i just think they're overpriced do you know what I mean I

especially loved their Lala retro cream and that's the one the only

one that I feel like I would pay that money for it because all the other

I feel we have so many other dupes for it and options for it specially the TLC framboos

one the vitamin C I feel like it's a whole new thing because it's so

different from all the other vitamin C products I've tried so I feel like if

you like it I get why you'd pay for it but the Framboos one I don't I feel

like it's not that gentle on my sensitive skin it still tingles a little

in this one go for this one also if you have really sensitive skin I don't think

you'll be able to use this just saying from my accutane type of phase now we're

going to oil and we're talking about retinoids so the last time we talked

about the retinoid product and the retinol product before we get into

retinoids are different than retinol so I explained that in my past video but

just a short runner-up retinol is the pure form retinoid is a new kind of

sister to it that is a lot gentler but is said to be just as powerful some

people disagree with that some people agree with that it's kind of more what

suits you I like to use both and kind of mix it up a little bit we're talking

about retinoid so this is the gentler version of that and I did compare the

retinoid product to the Sunday Riley luna but ever since then they came out

with their own oil retinoid which was smart of them

it's The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 5% In Squalane I don't remember if I ever

found out I remember that I didn't know while I was shooting but I think I found

out after so I'll put it here below or I couldn't ever find out because

they're not transparent I feel like you should always be transparent about acids

about active ingredients in general especially about retinoids and retinol

look if you always wanted to try Luna but you felt like it was just too

expensive definitely give this a shot this is still very good if you were

beginner to retinoids yes still go for this if you're a

beginner to retinol and retinoids you don't want to go all out and then

you don't know if you it's gonna agree with you so definitely go for this one

or the normal retinoid 2% which I still really really like money isn't abound

I'd still go for my Luna you know you guys know I love this product and I know

that the blue is artificial and all of that but I still really really like it

just a lovely mention there's also a gentler version of this which is a 2% so

this is a 5% there's a 2% on the market as well so if you're a beginner maybe

try to 2% and they actually also have retinol in squalane oil and I think

they have 0.2 0.5 and 1% but yeah I'll link everything below in terms of other

oils the ordinary one at the very end has a little bit of jojoba oil which is

still very good for oily and acne prone skin so I think they did this job very

very well when it comes to the sunday rally one it's a mix of so many oils

they I think they're trying to confuse you so you don't think about the

percentages and stuff I feel like I love Sunday riley but I hate them because

they don't tell me to choose so we have the ordinary 100% plant-derived squalene

oil and then we have the indie Lee squalene facial oil they're both very

similar and to be honest this is one of those where I can definitely say they

were dupe for each other squalane oil I don't know if you tried

it but it's very silky it sinks into skin super fast very lightweight and

it has like a smoothing sort of finished and they are very very similar I'm not

saying this isn't more high-quality or maybe the standards in which the oil was

extracted were a bit more sophisticated or were a bit more ethical I don't

really know I think the ordinary is a pretty ethical company as far as we know

I mean there has been a lot of drama lately over the social media account so

I don't really know what's up for these two I'd definitely go with the ordinary

because they're very very similar and I cannot find like a difference in results

and the texture is very very similar as well the last time we talked about I

think the only oil we talked about was marula oil so now we've done

squalane oil I think the most remembered brand when it comes to rosehip oil to me

is PAI because I think it was the first time I've heard of

rose hip oil and how it would help acne scars how I would just make it better

for acne people but there's also another brand that I've tried they also do

rosehip oil it's one of their cult products and I real like it as well but

I feel like the pai is a little bit better the pai one is a little bit

thicker and I feel protects my skin a little bit more and the elasticises my

skin a little bit more so doesn't scar as much and I do feel like it's a great

ally if you're fighting acne and also if you're going through accutane because

it's very good at making your skin flexible so that you don't get as many

scars and also at keeping your skin protected against you know every

aggression because the skin is very sensitive and very dehydrated and very

dry and very flaky a very mess it is a thick oil and some people do breakout

from it I don't fortunately so do a patch test maybe wear it for a week and

see how it feels compared to the ordinary one I feel like the ordinary

does a really good job so I feel like this one is closer to the trilogy one

that I don't have so I can't show you the texture thinner it sinks in faster

maybe if it's a soft or thinner version of it you won't break out from it for me

personally I like the thick oil so I do like the pai a little bit better I miss

so much I know I like I feel in my heart that I missed so much things that I

wanted to say but here we are I also wanted to address the kind of drama what

do you think about the drama in the ordinary kind of spectrum of things I

don't know if you are aware of this but there has been a lot of drama

surrounding the Ordinary actually Deciem's Instagram page so Brandon the

CEO and founder of the company kind of took over their social media account I

started posting really personal things and maybe being a little unprofessional

it was so weird and the thing that is most weird to me is that they would just

brought out by Estée Lauder and I know that they said and there's a

there was a whole clause in which Brandon would still keep decision-making

process his own and everything would be in his charge they would just be like a

financial aid but still with the company as big as Estée Lauder how has no one

stepped in and be like he oh dude this is maybe not okay I think the lowest

point of it all was one post that was deleted by now a post where he actually

announced that the ESHO line the lip balm was not being carried out anymore

by the DECIEM and actually he did it in a way where he announced it to us the

public and that was the first time that dr. esho actually heard about any of

this so he was also being tagged a lot because it was so unprofessional so yeah

tell me what you think about that drama does it affect the way you think about

the company deciem the ordinary in general does it I mean it's not like I'm gonna

stop buying from them but I'm definitely gonna keep a close eye on how things

develop it's really weird and let me know your

thoughts in the comment as well about that so if you like this video give it a

thumbs up don't forget to subscribe to the channel if you made it to the end

and you haven't watched the first part go watch it right now cuz what are you

doing yeah let me know what you like to see more from me if you like to see more

skincare bits for me as well on YouTube but definitely go check out the new blog

its newly launched it's so cute and know there's gonna be a lot of things you

want to criticize and comment about so the comment section is open just don't be

rude be polite and let me know how I'm wrong in a polite way okay

Shoulder Strain: Dynamic Strength Exercise - Duration: 2:27.

Hi my name is Iyad, I'm a Physiotherapist here at INSYNC PHYSIOTHERAPY.

Today I'm going to show you an exercise that is particularly useful for any upper

extremity rehabilitation or warm up.

Some people in sports like Ultimate Frisbee, Rock Climbing, especially baseball or cricket

where you involve a lot of throwing, this will be very very useful for it.

Now the best thing about this is that yo progress it on your own and you can modify it according

to your needs.

So all you need is a ball.

The ball can have weight to it.

That would probably help you by adding a strength component to this thing.

Or if you're not even injured and you just want a good warm up for the shoulder it can

actually work really well for that.

So the whole premise of this is that you are throwing the ball and catching it before it

lands using a lot of the muscles of the shoulder blade and the rotator cuff to do so.

So if you're recovering from a strain and this is suitable for you and your stage of

rehab then this would be a very good exercise.

If not, then consult with your therapist.

So the most primitive basic version of this is I start up here and let the ball drop and

catch it before it lands, and I do this repeatedly.

I do it to the time of 30 seconds to start, work your up to a minute even.

It'll really depend on your stage of injury and stage of fatigue.

So this is the most basic version of it.

If you're a throwing athlete, you're a baseball pitcher and you have problems at

the end range when you're releasing the ball, this would be a very good idea to start

your exercise lower down and just practise catching and controlling that ball in different

ranges.

If you're looking to modify it a bit more you can add weight.

Use a weighted ball or you can start from down here, throw it up and catch it on the

way down.

Throw it up and catch it on the way down!

Throw it up and catch it on the way down!

This is really good for the fast twitch muscles in our shoulder because you're trying to

basically produce a force and then pump the brakes on the movement through your reactions.

So you're working two phases of the muscle contractions; The shortening phase and the

lengthening contractions as well.

Usually I start with about 30 seconds of this.

Some people recommend doing this to fatigue.

The who idea is to work the muscles and feel a bit of a burn but not actually strain.

Don't go to the point of strain.

Consult with your therapist again to make sure this is the right phase of your rehabilitation

because if you're early on and you're shoulder's very flared up this might actually

not be suitable for it.

LOJA, la ville qui recycle tout # 3 - Duration: 3:04.

AS SEEN IN THE FIRST TWO VIDEOS

THE LOJA RECYCLING CENTER RECYCLES ALL WASTE FROM THE CITY

ONCE RECYCLED THEY BECOME RAW MATERIAL

THE ECOLOGICAL SCHOOL TEACHES THESE VALUES TO YOUNG CHILDREN

This virtuous and profitable waste treatment system and all that was created around

made Loja a greener, more social city, and contributed to its regional influence.

it really helped us improve the quality of life of the people, which seemed really impossible.

We were able to change the behavior of a whole community in all its aspects, its garbage disposal and sorting behavior

Our city therefore has the lowest level of pollution in all Ecuador.

Loja is a pioneer city in solid waste management and recycling.

Loja started at the national level with the home sorting program with local citizen participation,

which gave the city a national and international renown.

We have many visits from other cities in Ecuador, from northern Peru, from Colombia.

They come to see our working models.

And the municipality does not intend to stop there! It already intends to improve what exists.

The equipment that we will acquire will allow us to improve sorting.

And many other projects for the protection of the environment are developing.

We have a bike project, we have more than 70 kilometers of track around the city

, and we try to make a transition from the cars to the bike.

We are planting a lot of trees, bamboo in dirty water because bamboo is one of the best cleaners and filters.

We now understand why Loja should be an example to follow!

We have seen that its influence is already crossing borders, and any city in the world should be inspired.

no matter what level of population any city on the planet may have, it's never too late to start.

Actually, waste has stopped being a problem for the world,

as it becomes a solution to many social and economic problems for communities.

And when we see the results obtained in Loja in about fifteen years,

we believe that it is time to use the great means to act everywhere!

And above all, we are confident that it is possible!

Well, that's all for today !

Phone EXPLODES In Teen's Face - Duration: 2:58.

A teenager has been killed as a result of her phone exploding in her face.

Hello and welcome back to IO, I am your host Rebecca Felgate covering for Charlotte Dobre

and today we have some very sad news about a young girl who has lost her life as a result

of her smartphone.

18 year old Uma Oram was talking on her phone in Odisha, India, when it exploded, knocking

her down.

The teen is said to have plugged her phone in to charge while she was talking, but some

kind of electrical malfunction took place.

Oram was chatting to an unnamed relative who heard the other end of the ordeal, and her

phone cutting out.

The girl was found with her badly damaged Nokia 5233 lying next to her, having suffered

severe burns to her hand, chest and leg.

She was taken to hospital where sadly she was declared dead.

A quick warning for you…

there are a few shocking images of the accident.

A picture taken of Oram after the incident shows that her t-shirt was badly burned.

Pictures taken of the smart phone device also show that the nokia was burned too, with the

plastic warped and melted.

The cause of the explosion is as of yet unknown, it could have been as a result of bad electrical

wiring, or indeed a faulty phone charger.

Indeed, if it was, this wouldn't be the first instance of a phone explosion.

Police are investigating the situation, and Oram's post-mortem is underway.

Hopefully it will soon become clear what exactly cause the explosion, or whether it was a freak

accident.

Nokia has been contacted for a statement, although as of yet the Finish phone giants

have yet to make a statement.

So that is all we have on that story, our thoughts go out to Uma Oram's family at

this time, and hopefully police will get to the bottom of what happened.

Before we close out this video, I just want to read a few comments you guys left on one

of Charlotte's recent videos.

She did a story about a United Airlines flight attendant who was responsible for the death

of a dog…another really sad story.

Jonnathan Esquijarosa wrote: I travel with my dog at least 6 times per

year and as a pet owner you need to have a little common sense.

Why not just get off the flight if it's something you insist on not doing.

I'm sorry but the last time I had an issue with my pet being in his carry on between

my legs I just took him out and had him sit on my lap the entire flight.

I feel really bad for the family my the dog R.I.P?

I am kind of with Jonathan there… there is no way I would let someone take my dog

away on a flight?

Ainsfoxy wrote: okay. we need to take action.

united has caused so many issues.

how could they think it was a good idea to put him in the overhead bin. the poor thing

was a dog.

rip puppy. you didn't deserve this.?

So so sad….

A very sad IO today!

Hopefully our next video will be slightly jollier for you guys.

Please let me know what you thought to today's story… let me know if you think smartphones

are safe and whether or not you ever travel with

a pet.
