Youtube daily report w Mar 2 2018

Anoeta will be witnessing another of this season's derbies.

Real Sociedad have won their last two home games whereas their opponents,

Alaves, leaked four goals in their last away game at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The team currently under the charge of Abelardo have only triumphed three times away from home this season,

and San Sebastian does not augur well:

Deportivo Alaves have only ever won once in the league at the Txuri urdin ground,

and that was more than fifteen years ago.

LGBTQ Advocates Launch TV Ad Targeting Trump-Pence Ban on Transgender Troops - Duration: 0:31.

An impulsive president tweets that transgender Americans won't be allowed

to serve, but decorated military leaders say there's no reason to single out

these brave men and women. And lawmakers of both parties say any qualified

American should be able to serve, that Trump's policy is discriminatory, and

counterproductive to our national security, and trans servicemembers should

be treated as the Patriots they are. Tell Donald Trump and Mike Pence put our

troops ahead of your politics.

Honda Civic Type R vs. Ford Focus RS | Drag & Rolling Yarışı ! - Duration: 14:43.

Şafak: Hi guys today we are in a different track.

You saw the tests of these two cars in many race tracks.

But today we are making a difference.

(-)Onur: We are in an airfield. (+)Şafak: Located in Bursa.

+ This guy is a FK 8 Type R. A beast.

+ Over the 300 horsepower, 320 to be exact.

+ 400 Nm of torque and front wheel drive.

+ Current record holder of Nurburgring.

- That's true. What I have over here ise a Ford Focus RS.

- Third generation. And blue as a sky. + It looks great.

- 2.3L engine.. + Tax, tax, tax!

-(Laughs) Yeah it is excisable but it uses a Mustang engine.

- 350 horsepower thanks to a larger turbo.

- 440 Nm of torque which improves to 475 Nm with overboost.

- And a four wheel drive. + Oh, and you got launch control.

- Hmm, yeah I do. + But we are gonna do a drag race... man...

- I've been waking up to a picture of a Ford Focus, sorry, Escort RS Cosworth for 25 years.

+ It is his older brother I know. I accept it.

- I got a poster of it. And when I looked at it,

- I was missing the four wheel drive. Now it is here.

+ You're enjoying it but I'm curious about what I'm gonna do with my FWD car.

+Ok then. Let's test these beasts with different races.

+ And settle the debate down.

- (Points Focus)

+ Don't jump to conclusions, Focus boy...

+ (Grumbles about 4 wheel drive)

- (Laughs) + Do you trust your wrists like me?.. Nope!

+ Now, I'm inside the Type R.

+ I'm getting 320 horsepower

+ and 400 Nm of torque

+ from the 2.0L engine under the hood.

+ RS is better than Type R in 0-100 km/h acceleration.

+ But I believe in myself.

- So our car has launch control.

-That will help us to get a smooth launch.

- And that's how we bury Şafak to the track.

- But I'm not signaling I'm ready yet.

-I'm not ok yet.

- Driving mode is set to track mode.

- Suspensions changes with that automaticly.

- And I'm gonna cheat guys.

- Now I'm browsing the infotainment system.

- In options..

- Driving assist..

- and Launch Control.

+ He is going to win with his traction advantage, probably.

+ I have a short-throw gearbox...

+ ...so shifting is relatively easy.

+ C'mon guys give the signal already

- Get the first gear and..

+ Come on...

+ Come oooon...

- And that's how we roll!

+ Advantge of the traction system...

+ Sadly Focus RS gives us the answer with a slap in the track...

- Let's turn and wave to the Şafak.

- We are the winners after all.

- By the way, I think we are going to win in 1000 m, too.

- Because, it seems like Type R couldn't close the gap.

+ You have the power, you have the 4 wheel drive, you have the Launch Control....

+ Of course you're going to win...

Cihangir: It is going great isn't it? Especially in start...

- Yeah it accelerates like it's being kicked.

Cihangir: But Type R was catching up

Cihangir: in the last meters.

- Yeah he was very close to catch up.

- It looks Type R can catch up in 500 m.

+ He owned us... I expected that but...

+ it still upsets me.

+ Power of the 4 wheel drive. I must make use of 150 kg weight advantage now.

+ It wasn't a bad start at all.

+ I'm expecting an ok start in this one, too, hopefully.

+ Come on, man! Disable the launch control!

- Launch control is ours and cannot be stopped!

+ He is playing a game with cheats. Cihangir: He beated you well though.

+ It wasn't that well. There were not much diffrence I was catching up.

+ I'm trusting myself in 1000 meters. I'll see you in 1000 meters..

- Where? in 1000 meters...

- Ok then we will see that.

- I'm a little bit afraid though..

+ I believe this one is mine.

+ But if I lose don't blame the Type R.

+ It is a great car, really. Despite the front wheel drive,

+ wheelspin is not that bad in the start

+ but even in the second gear, there is some.

- Come on + Come on

+ Ah, I've missed the 4th!

+ Again... I couldn't catch up...

- We defeated him in 1000 meters too. We killed a fly by the way.

- And my top speed was above the 220 km/h.

(Jumping is Onur Koray's standart equipment, not Focus RS'.)

+I'm coping with disappointment by flooring the pedal...

+ I was sure I was going to win.

- Ok now we are going to start a race

- which we are going to lose surely.

- Şafak is pointing me the window to open up. +Open up!

+ You won two test don't get cocky right now.

+ I'm gonna blow your mind now. -Ok I'm saying the viewers,

- I'm going to win this one, too.

+ My honour is on the line here.

+ I should beat Onur for my honour (means Onur in Turkish).

- Ok let's start the car then.

+ You want some noise? Have some... Engaging the R mode

+ Ready? - It's in track mode right now.

+ Man, your exhaust noise is better. Give us some more. - Sure, here you go...

+ It's time to kill Mr. Crack&Pop.

+ Let's go... Third gear, 50km/h we start in the start line.

(Glorious screams of joy)

+ It can't catch up, RS is biting the dust!

+ The victory I was looking for is finally here!

+ Go, Type R!

-He is pointing window again...

+ Open up, open up the window!

- What? What's the problem dude?

+ Respect the Samurai! See ya!..

+ So Onur, you stomped on us in the drags. With AWD assist and all.

- Yeah, I did walk over you. + But I crushed you in the rolling start.

+ It was a pleasure to see RS logo in my rearview mirror.

- I also saw the Type R logo in my mirror.

+ I was close you were far away than me.

- Yeah you're right actually. + In the end you are winning by 2 to 1.

-In the track.. Yes I am. + But I have some questions for you

+ I think Type R will win this questions.

- Let's see...

+ Which one of these cars is better for daily use?

- Type R.

+ Comfort?

- Type R.

+ Practicality?

- Type R.

+ So Type R wins the round. - Wait a second... not that easy.

- In Type R, if you change the driving mode

- it automaticlly changes the suspansion system.

- Ford doesn't have that. You can change it separately.

- But I accept the fact Ford's softest setting is still somewhat stiff.

+ Seats were pinching me..

- Ok what about the engine sound? + No lies, it's RS.

- Transmission? + I think it is Type R, because of the short throw gearbox.

+ Especially in rolling start, gear changes were smooth.

- Also it's ergonomy is perfect. Gear and steering wheel is so close.

+ I was shifting fifth and sixth gears this close.

+ I think it is fourth in RS. - I also liked the pedals.

+It is smoother. - Also they are bigger

+ Type R's brake pedal is more resistant than RS' though.

- I really prefer the Type R breaks.

+ It has more resistence I think.

- Alright, what about the looks? + I was going to ask that.

+ Type R looks perfect, let's agree on that.

+ It has " Ricer Car" looks.

+ But RS has a charm,

+ go for winding mountain roads,

+ do some stylish drifting.. It is more simple but beautiful.

+ I say RS. - I agree on that.

- But I won't buy in this colour.

+ I would choose dark grey, for both of it.

- It can be.. Yes.

- I want to ask about seats

+ This guy right here has bucket seats as standard.

+ But RS' standard Recaro's are tight.

- Yeah optional Recaro's are more beautiful.

+ But Type R is more comfortable.

+ And seats are more comfy. - Also driving position...

- ...is low but car can handle it.

- I really like to sit high in the car. + Me, too. But I had no problems sitting lower in the Type R.

- Because if you lower it down you can see the upwards.

+ And these parts are helping you to navigate your drive.

- Yeah if you lower it more you can't see the road.

+ But RS is looking more buffed. - Yeap.

+ Type R says I'm fast. But RS says I'm more buffed. I can beat you in drags.

- Well if you were given one of these cars for free, which one would you chose?

+ Ok, let me ask you a counter-question.

+ Is it the "only" car that I use or... - Only car, yes.

+ If it's only car, I'm choosing Type R.

+ It has performance and it's a good daily driver... - What if you can use more cars?

+ Then RS. Because,

+ I was really upset on the start.

+ While I was dealing with wheelspin you were already gone

- If you buy it with your own money? + I can't buy neither because I don't have that kind of money.

-If you have it? + Then I would buy Type R because I could afford it.

- Yeah there is quite a price gap. + It is around 100,000 TL

+Ok than it's settled. Competition ends 2-2 draw.

-Ok, I'll agree on that.

+We did a lot of great tests.

+Thanks for the Burulaş and Yunuseli Havalimanı for letting us do these tests.

- But I'm hungry.

+ I'm shocked that you didn't eat anything all day. He ate 72 portions of İskender back in the Uludağ trip.

+ Now you are in Bursa again. - Yeah I was waiting for this.

+ I know a place, wanna go there?

+ Melike Döner.. They hold the world record for the biggest "döner"

- Is that so? + So we go there?

- But first let's invite our crew. + You see only 2 before the camera today but we have a beautiful crew here.

+ Guys come on up!

- They are acting shy.

Where Can You Still Live For $10 Dollars A Day? - Duration: 6:46.

Budget travel has been around for a while.

For quite some time, travelers have been scouring the world for the next best destination, often

heading out on what The Lonely Planet used to call a shoestring budget.

Nowadays "digital nomads" fill forums with tales of where you can live like a king

on next to nothing, although that's obviously an exaggeration.

But today we'll show you how to travel cheap, in this episode of the Infographics Show,

Where can you still live on 10 dollars day?

Firstly, we should say that we acknowledge that there are plenty of people in poorer

countries living on less than ten dollars a day.

As you can see from our intro, this is not a show on the world's most impoverished

nations – we've already done that.

This is a show letting you know where you can take off and live, albeit frugally, on

just ten bucks a day.

According to Forbes, Bangkok is the most visited city in the world by tourists and has been

on and off for years.

The budget-minded traveler usually doesn't stay long as Bangkok can be as expensive as

any city in the west, if you want it to be.

Travelers might go up north to Chiang Mai, a destination often in the top ten of best

cities in the world to visit, and more often they go to the beach.

But can you live on ten bucks a day without having to resort to 'begpacking'?

Well, if you go to Bunchun Hostel in Chiang Mai next August, you can stay there for 120

baht a night, or about $3.80.

A street vendor will sell you a delicious rice dish for about a dollar, or even less,

so three meals a day brings you up to $6.80.

A shared taxi or Uber can get you across town for a dollar, and you still have enough left

for a beer at night.

It won't be easy, but you can get by in Travel and Leisure's 3rd best city in the

world to visit for a mere 10 bucks a day.

What about India?

The website "thebrokebackpacker.com" tells us that you could get by in India for as little

as five bucks a day.

How is that possible?

The site tells us you can get your own room, not a shared hostel room, for as little as

2 dollars a night.

They added that some are "dodgy".

Getting around by bus is very cheap, and according to globalprice.com you can get a cup of tea

for 16 cents, a Thali for 94 cents and a stuffed pancake (masala dosa) for less than a dollar.

So, you can eat enough in a day, but like Thailand, you'll be living without much

nighttime entertainment.

Staying in Asia, Cambodia is another amazing destination.

A contributor and expert budget traveler writing for The Huffington Post wrote that in the

country it's easy to find a hostel for $2 a night.

For $5 you can get a room for yourself.

He said he spent $1 per meal, and sometimes $2 for dinner.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to enter the famous Angkor Wat as that will set you

back $37 for a one-day pass.

Stay in the capital Phnom Penh, and you can easily get by on less than $10 a day.

Nearby, Vietnam and Laos can also be done on a shoestring budget, with the former being

slightly more challenging.

What about outside of Asia?

It can be more difficult, but here we should add that couch surfing is possible all over

the world.

This is where a host puts you up for free, but most of the time that only means the room

is free.

Check out couchsurfing.com and join.

Once that's done you are on your way to saving tons of money.

Blogger Nomadic Matt says that he traveled all over the world on less than 10 bucks a

day, but admits most of the time he was couch surfing.

He says, "I bought food in supermarkets and cooked by myself or with my hosts, never

drank in bars but in parks."

He also hitchhiked when traveling.

But, can you possibly visit Europe on a 10-buck budget?

According to a 2017 article in Time magazine, yes, you can.

The article states that a room for a night in Ukraine can be as little as $3.09, but

you'll pay slightly more for a meal in a cheap restaurant.

It's looks like you'll be shopping at the supermarket.

You might also get two rather unhealthy Big Mac meals per day, each costing $2.63, according

to Expatisan.

You can get a monthly public transport ticket for $12, so if you are supermarket shopping

you will still have enough money to buy a couple of 58 cent beers for the end of the

day.

What about seeing the Pyramids of Giza on less than 10 bucks a day?

Well, it will cost you over 6 bucks to see them, so you might have to save for that day

out.

Tripadvisor tells us there are loads of buses from Cairo to the Giza Pyramids and the trip

will cost you 2 bucks.

One writer said he was staying in a Cairo hostel for $2.21 per night, and while restaurants

are probably outside your budget at over 3 bucks for a cheap meal, he spent days gouging

on falafel, bread, and chips for only 50 cents a time.

Again, this could be much cheaper if you couch surf and shop in the supermarket, but even

if you don't it's doable on 10 dollars a day.

Ok, but we haven't mentioned the beach yet, and so many of you have paradise in mind for

10 bucks a day.

Some of the countries above, notably India, Thailand and Cambodia, have beach destinations

for that price if you choose the cheapest hostels.

You can forget couch surfing most of the time near the beach, and another thing to bear

in mind is the lack of supermarkets or even street food on more remote islands.

But if you venture out you will find where all the locals eat, the hotel staff, or even

the fisherman and the laborers.

The latter will be living on much less than you.

Just ask them, or follow the road to the local village that is sometimes hidden from tourists.

We looked on booking sites for the cheapest hostels in Bali, and if you go later this

year you can get a bed at the Morotai Camp Hostel for $4.47, but you might be sharing

that room with three others.

You'll get free wi-fi, free coffee and water, and importantly a shared kitchen with all

facilities.

You can also get a bicycle to use.

We looked to see if there is a nearby supermarket, and indeed there is.

Although, a cheap street stall will sell you something for $2, and a small beer will cost

you the same.

So, stick with the local "warungs" – small family run food stalls, and you can eat cheap.

The markets are obviously cheaper as the warungs buy from them.

So, there you go, you can stay in paradise, visit some of the world's greatest sites,

walk through ancient temples or just watch the world go by from your chair at a local

restaurant, all for less than 10 bucks a day.

Then again, if you couch surf, you could even stay in London, do all your shopping at the

budget supermarket Aldi, and still survive.

For less than 2 dollars you can buy a loaf of bread and a pack of ham at Aldi.

For $2.40 you can get a frozen pizza if you want diversity for dinner.

Admittedly, you'd have to walk everywhere and the only partying you'd be doing is

quaffing dubious discount drinks from your host's back garden.

Why not go crazy and buy four large cans of Taurus dry cider for $2.68.

Have you ever traveled on less than 10 bucks a day?

If so, tell is how you did it in the comments.

Also, be sure to check out our other video called What a Dollar Gets You Around the World!

Thanks for watching, and, as always, don't forget to like, share, and subscribe.

See you next time!

E o Oscar vai... mais discursos... mais ação... mais mudanças! - Duration: 4:25.

Hello, how are you? My name is Alan, I am a journalist and this is the channel Ingresse na Arte, my culture channel on YouTube.

In this video, I talk about cinema, because, as you should know, 90th Oscar, the most famous cinema award in the world, will take place next Sunday, on March 5th.

This year, most of winners' speech may contain sentences against the cinema industry,

since many cases of harassment involving producers and actors against actresses and other Hollywood workers have been published for last months.

The main cases are of the actor Kevin Spacey and of producer Harvey Weinstein who used to be one of the most powerful producers in Hollywood.

But if you think that critical speeches are a recent phenomenon, you are wrong.

In 2001, Halle Berry, for example, who was the first black woman actress who won an Oscar after 74 years,

said in her speech the importance of that award, remembered all the black women actress who were nominee and,

when she was warned that she had to finish her speech because of the time, she said, holding the Oscar award, "Stop it, because I have 74 years of history on my hands".

In 2002, Nicole Kidman, who won the Oscar award of best actress in a leading role for her performance in the movie "The Hours",

remembered September 11th, that had happened some months before Oscar ceremony, and families who had their relatives in the war in Middle East.

In 2013, Cate Blanchett, who won the Oscar award of best actress in a leading role for "Blue Jasmine",

criticized the big studios that have avoided to put money in movies starring women, that have women in the center of the story.

She said: "there are a lot of people who would like to watch these movies, they are not niches movies. So, if you invest on these movies, everyone is going to get money."

In 2014, Patricia Arquette, who won the Oscar of best actress in a supporting role for "Boyhood",

said about the importance of wage equality and equal rights for women in the USA.

And as black women artists model, Lupita, who won the Oscar of best actress in a supporting role for "12 Years of Slavery",

and Viola Davis, who won the Oscar of best actress in a supporting role in 2016, said about the importance of represenativeness and importance of black artists win awards in Oscar and other events.

Well, in this year, in 90th Oscar, I believe that Frances McDormand is going to say the most critical speech.

She is the favorite to win the award of best actress in a leading role for "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri".

In this category, I would like that the actress Margot Robbie, who is brilliant in the movie "I, Tonya", win.

In the category of best actor, Gary Oldman may be the winner for his performance in the movie "Darkest Hour".

I have already talked about this movie in this channel.

In the category of best director, I would like that the winner are Christopher Nolan for his work in the movie "Dunkirk",

but Guillermo Del Toro may be the winner for "The Shape of Water". He's already won many awards during this pre Oscar season.

And in the category of best movie, "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" may be the winner,

but "The Shape of Water" may be the surprise of the night in this category.

My favorite in this category is "Call Me By Your Name", a beautiful movie. I am going to talk about it soon.

This is it. I am sorry for not posting any video last Tuesday. I was really busy and trying to watch all the nominees for best movie in the Oscar.

If you like this video, share this idea, watch the Oscar ceremony, it is very cool, See you soon. Bye bye.

The team currently under the charge of Abelardo have only triumphed three times away from home this season,

See you next time!

my seven tips on how to deal with people who question you about the way you dress.

If you like classic style then wanting to dress up when others don't happens to you

all the time.

Recently the viewer Amir left a comment on our video Things I Get the Most Compliments

On.

Raphael, I've been upgrading my style.

I used to wear graphic tees, ripped jeans and sneakers and now I wear untucked casual

button-ups, dark wash jeans or chinos and chukka boots.

However I still don't feel satisfied with my current style.

The thing is that people around here never dress up.

Is there anything wrong with dressing up all the time even to the most casual of occasions?

I'm really scared of this step.

Amir, I can totally sympathize with you.

You want to dress up and put your best foot forward yet there are others who question

your motives maybe think you're better than them and it may even be vocal towards you

about it.

I'm often the most dressed up person in a room and it inevitably will catch some attention.

People ask me what the occasion is and I just say it's Tuesday simply because that's the

way I like to dress.

Recently my wife and I went out for dinner in a new hip restaurant in town and of course

we wear nice clothes.

So the waiter asked, "Oh where are you headed?" and we just said, "Here!"

And she was really surprised because otherwise people just don't dress up as much just to

go out for dinner.

Dressing up will always make you stand out and it really pays to know how to deal with

the positive aspects as well as the negative ones.

If you haven't already done so I suggest you watch the 101 Things That Change When You

Dress Up because we cover mostly positive things but also some negative ones.

The paradox on style is that many people care about it for different reasons.

Usually it falls within a spectrum of people dressing for themselves or people dressing

purely for others.

In any case clothes and accessories are something you wear directly in your body and because

of that it immediately becomes part of your visual identity.

So to start you should ask yourself, "Am I dressing for myself or do I dress to impress

others?"

Being inappropriately attired can be a form of disrespect or it can be seen as a cry for

attention.

At the same time dressing to fit in can mean that you're indifferent about your outward

appearance or that you simply want to be invisible among a group of many.

Here is my approach to this.

If you want to dress up - Do it, enjoy it and own it!

There's really nothing wrong with it and I've been doing it for over 20 years and the benefits

far outweigh the negatives.

Yes, there will always be someone who has to say something negative about you or the

way you dress but you just have to deal with it.

Some of them may feel threatened when they judge you or they elevate themselves above

you and think they're superior to you.

Just look at YouTube comments for example.

No matter what I or anyone else produces there will always be someone who has something really

negative to say about your approach and how you do it.

At the same time they don't go out and produce a better video they just criticize you.

Rather than being impacted by the haters I focus on the comments of the people with constructive

criticism, questions or simple observations so we can do videos like this.

So all this may be easier said than done.

Now here are the 7 tips I use specifically to deal with issues that arise from dressing

well in everyday situations.

One, whenever you dress appropriateness is a very important consideration.

For example at a wedding you never want to out dress the bride and the groom because

it's their day.

At the same time if you go to a funeral a burgundy or red flannel suit will simply detract

from the event and it would be inappropriate.

When there's a dress code indicated such as cocktail attire you should not wear black

tie because that would be obviously overdressed.

To learn more about specific dress codes and what they mean so you can dress appropriately

please check out this video here.

Two, if there isn't a dress code consider how much flexibility there is.

For example when you're in a plane you see people wearing sweatpants or a suit so whatever

you feel comfortable with works.

On the other hand, if you're in a business meeting and you're not the boss the dress

code can be pretty much stipulated without being written down.

In that case consider the company culture.

There's nothing worse than wearing a three-piece suit in a startup company that simply wears

jeans and t-shirts all the time.

It makes you look odd and stand out in a weird way.

If you're in a social event with friends you should truly be able to wear whatever you

want and whatever you are comfortable with and whatever you're supported by.

If it's a more casual outing it's okay to be more casual.

This weekend I went to a brewery and I just wore a regular dress shirt with a knit tie

and a nice knit cardigan.

Three, dress to please yourself.

Think of dressing as your hobby and it's something that you enjoy.

It's about you and what you like to do not about others.

Four, learn how to accept a compliment graciously because otherwise you may come off like an

arrogant prick.

When you dress up more compliments will be coming your way and we did a video on how

to accept it like a gentleman here.

Five, it's very important to have a comeback ready.

If you're asked why you're dressed up have a few answers prepared that you can give right

away so you don't have to engage in lengthy conversations, shut the conversation down

and simply go about your way.

By having an appropriate comeback you exude confidence most other people will just leave

it at that and won't bother you again.

It's important that a response should never be defensive or mean.

Saying things like because "I'm not a peasant" or "I wasn't raised by wolves" will always

be kind of offensive to people and it automatically reflects on them which will just draw you

into a longer argument and it's just a pain.

That aside as a gentleman you never go down under a level and to learn more about What

It Means To Be A Gentleman Today, please check out this video here.

Ideally you shouldn't go down the rabbit hole of explaining.

It's the same politics if you start explaining you're losing.

Aggressive or negative people want to engage you in a fight, want to drag you down to their

level, and then they beat you with experience so don't do that.

The best comebacks are short and sweet.

"What did you dress up for today?"

"It's Thursday!"

Or if you want to be snarky you could say something like "Adulthood."

But again that may be seen as offensive.

"Why you look so fancy?"

"Why not?"

"Why are you so well-dressed?"

"Because I know how to."

"Do you think you're better than us?"

"No, dressing up is just my hobby."

The sooner you'll accept that judgment will always be around the easier it gets to focus

on what you truly want.

Six, the single biggest secrets to dressing up when others don't is to not care what others

think of you.

Personally I'd say it comes very naturally to me and being on YouTube and being exposed

and having that negativity around me just helped me to develop an even thicker skin.

There's a good saying along the lines of "What other people think of you is none of your

business" and I pretty much agree with that.

People-pleasing, approval addiction or the fear of rejection will always be in the way

of what you truly want for yourself.

If you care a lot what other people think of you, you may want to look into the book

The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A Fuck.

You can find a link to it on our website here.

Last but not the least, be authentic because that provides you with confidence and people

who are confident are perceived in a much different way.

Fewer people will want to argue with you and they will accept you as who you are.

So in today's outfit I'm wearing a rather bold ensemble.

It is a classic boat club blazer with bold stripes.

I even have pants for it as a suit so it's definitely a statement piece.

I bought it vintage because I liked it and in this combination I'm wearing it with a

solid light blue shirt with a silk jacquard tie with small polka dots from Fort Belvedere

which you can find in our shop here.

The shoes are burgundy red double monk straps which go well with my tie and I chose socks

in Burgundy and off-white which tie my khakis and my shoes quite well together.

Because my blazer is so bold, I opted for a simple light blue pocket square with burgundy

red embroidery which works well with my tie, my shoes, my belt, my socks and so the whole

outfit is tied together.

Likewise my ring is a red carnelian which goes with a red theme.

It's in silver which goes with the buckles of my belt as well as my shoes.

Next to me you can see a brown fur coat which for many people is over the top but I live

in Minnesota where winters get really cold and I love to wear a warm overcoat.

Schlubs Studios: Don't Give Up On your Ideas - Duration: 3:49.

Well we can't let the discourages get the best of us. When we have an idea and

we believe with our whole being that it will work, we need to keep doing it until

we succeed if someone says no keep asking other people into you you hear a

yes. Don't let them kill your idea.

Hello everybody and welcome to Schlubs Studios

I'm Elizabeth Childs and this is Joanna Shalom. Hi everybody!

So we've been talking about how people- there are two kinds of people in this

world, encouragers and discouragers. The encouragers,

you know typically try to encourage people to pursue their ideas and

discouragers- well you know, you get the drift. But what I was telling her is

that we can't let discouragers get the best of us when we have an idea and we

believe with our whole being that it will work. We need to keep doing it until

we succeed if someone says no, keep asking other people in to you hear yes.

Don't let them kill your idea. What I say is keep working at it until you have

perfected it. The inventor of the video doorbell called Ring was told no on the

show called Shark Tank, but he did not give up he kept pursuing his idea

because he believed in it and now he just recently sold it to Amazon.

Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ who gives me

strength. So what I'm saying to you is you can do this!

Opinion: Don't Take Dog Ownership Lightly - Duration: 2:00.

Please Listen Carefully

Owning a dog in Austin can make you really happy

if you can take care of it properly.

Having a loving companion to constantly support you

not only decreases heart rate

but it also lowers blood pressure.

You will find yourself with more weekly exercise

and more time outdoors by taking your dog

on walks and jogs.

All of these benefits, however, come with a cost

that most college students can't handle.

Most people don't realize that when they adopt a puppy,

they are essentially adopting a furry baby into their lives.

I got her right before the semester started

so in the fall there was a lot of training

that I had to do.

It's just a lot of time and patience.

If you don't live near campus or have a super busy schedule

it's really hard to do that.

It's definitely only for people who,

I'd say, are home more than they are not.

The hardest part is spacing out your day.

I chose my classes so that I wouldn't have to leave her

for more than five hours or so.

It's not as expensive as some people think,

but definitely like the food and you have

to save up for any incidentals.

A couple months ago she got hit by a car.

It's not the best thing for everyone,

but I think it was the best thing for me to get her.

Like she's just such a comforting presence,

like you are never alone.

You always just have this thing that's

so happy to see you when you get back because

college can be a stressful time.

With all this in mind

if you still can't help but be enchanted

by the soft searching eyes of a puppy looking for a friend

you can have the benefits without the overwhelming responsibility.

Many shelters such as Austin Pets Alive,

The Austin Animal Center,

and the Austin Humane Society

offer a lot of volunteering opportunities for college students.

Make decisions that benefit you

and the less fortunate animals of Austin best.

Volunteer your time today.

VIDEO GAMES that you would NEVER WANT TO FINISH ... - Duration: 10:54.

There are video games we would not want never finish. Games that you feel

belong ... universes where you feel good. This is the tour de force of the video game:

more than cinema or literature, because he forces you to act, he knows

take you away, make you live things that you will never live. So, get ready

on the big trip, we will talk today of these works that make you love the video game.

The Witcher 3.

Last year I made a big Bike tour through Italian Tuscany,

the south of France and the Swiss mountains.

I had only one music in my headphones : the one we hear when the sun

lies down in the DLC Witcher 3, Blood and Wine. No other game has given me so much

desire to travel.

The region of Toussaint is an invitation in the summer; a fantasized South capable of

to make you forget the winter. While strolling in dry grasses it would almost feel

the sun beating on his skin, the olive scent and the reassuring sound of crickets.

Are you, too, already happened to ask you a few minutes in

a video game, just to look at the sky, herbs that quiver or a stream

to hit the stones of polygons?

Video game designers sometimes think about it. For example in Skyrim! A huge world

which seems interminable. And yet. There is has ONE SINGLE AND UNIQUE LOCATION ... where you can

to observe ... an anthill. A detail lost in nature, useless otherwise for his

message: the world lives outside of you, at the scale of a map like that

of a microcosm.

Of all my favorite games, there is almost always the call to nature: where should

I say, to contemplation:

The colossal mountains of a sealed world in Shadow of Colossus; the deserts of a

civilization destroyed in Horizon Zero Dawn ; the opportunity to climb to the top of

any mountain in Breath of the Wild; or Xenoblade Chronicle with this

dizzy to be a microbe on the body of a world god.

We could have made these games tables from Friedrich; a traveler contemplating the

vast world; the poetry of a sunset sun that warms your heart.

The game that pushes this logic to the maximum it's Journey - English trip. You

have no purpose. Otherwise, far away you see the mountain. And she attracts you.

You want to go there, climb it.

A wandering and walking simulation that only lasts a few hours, but that summarizes

everything I love in video games.

But unfortunately all these worlds are finished. And when comes the end of the map. The

message "you can not go further". Reality catches up with us: we are here,

in our rooms, and we may never see more than 1% of all that

the real world has to offer us.

Undertale The attachment to the characters.

Have you ever fallen in love with a character video game? I remember younger

to have been twice: with Marle in Chrono Trigger, and Arche in Tales of Phantasia.

And I typed good big tseg his mother !

Good on a pixel porridge ugly but that you want, at the time we had

imagination.

For others it will be Aeris in Final fantasy 7, Lara Croft of Tomb Raider and

boys too, it's just that I get there know less. Do not hesitate to tell me

your virtual love stories.

Love, yes. But in video games, we can also cry. I was on Skies

of Arcadia, an RPG of pirates sailing the island in floating island on the clouds. And we focus

to the characters. Until you finish the game, and discover the fate of all the characters

: some have become princes, dancers, artists, loving parents and then

...

My favorite playable character, Drachma: "few after the great battle died as a sinner

happy.". That, the music and the fact of to leave this universe forever, it had me

melted in tears, inconsolable days during.

In short, all this to tell you that sometimes to end a game is to leave friends,

loves. Eros, Philia and Agape. A game plays wonderfully on it: Undertale.

I'm not a big fan of the game, but we do not not going to lie to himself: he scored at once

a generation, and the history of video games. He has the ability to render his characters

living. When a monster attacks you, you can kill them or choose to help them, this

which is unique in an RPG. Each character to his own attack set, forcing you

to adapt your gameplay; some have a different writing font when ALL

we have a musical theme of their own. Understand now why on Youtube

you can find 30,000 cartoons on each character; they are simple

boss, but they have their story. And when the game ends, your friends, you leave them

for ever. Obliged for the bravest to restart the game in genocide mode where

you must kill EVERYONE to discover the real end boss. Suffice to say, a tear

that some do not manage to pass.

Yes, we focus on the game characters video ; to the ambiguous friendship of the two

characters in Life is Strange; to destiny tragedy of a child in Walking Dead

; to the dream of a dying man in To the Moon. And also more lightly to his Pokémon.

What a joy to turn on his gameboy 10 years later, and recover his safeguard with his Charizard

and Mewtwo level 100. The happiness of a reunion as if

When for others the backup battery is dead, and your monsters lost forever.

Grand Theft Auto 5.

Cinema, reality TV, Instagram sucks your energy. Whenever you turn off

your screens ... you feel bad: the other people's lives, when you take away poop

to the toilet, makeup time and the 30 minutes to pose, bah she

is always better than yours.

And video games do not derogate. In finishing GTA 5 I felt bad. I have

robbed banks, rolled at 200 per hour, drives helicos and I even became

a star. Then everything stops. The game ends, you wake up at your house, in your beautiful house,

you're a millionaire ... and there's more nothing to do. More missions, nothing. So

you are trying things, you are looking for missions Secrets on the Internet, You're Inventing Them

own quests. You became the one you you will never be, and here you are suddenly

with a real life less boring than the character of the game

It often happens that after a cutscene end, you suddenly find yourself with the desire

to live it in real life. I'm ready to bet that a lot of student lawyers today

were players fond of the Phoenix saga Wright. A game where you play as a lawyer

and that makes you feel the spice thrill of the defense of a client. Once

console off, you stumble on the first forum come, and you are flying in the hope

to have a debate and make this music roar in your heads.

Even without having such an enviable life, the time can make you merge with life

from someone, I will take my case with Persona 5 that I finished recently after a

a good hundred hours. Already pretty trick deceive the game you swing from the beginning it

there will be an end: you are in Shibuya for a year after a jostling with a politician

crooked that led you to be in turnaround judicial. Throughout this year you

follow the life of a high school student without any control over time: raised early in the morning,

school day, text messages that we read scred in class, buddies, we get

friends, we have fun with and in the evening we share fly people's hearts by killing people

demons in passing. Then when comes the end of the game, the end of the year, everything is back

in order. We'll have to ... go home you. A real tear that to leave

his friends and all those who accompanied you and loved all year. 100h of my life

become a whole year in my heart, it's the prowess of video games.

For some, diving into another life can make them forget the one more prosaically

biological ; to be a respected level 90 paladin at night and an office worker the day,

a dysphoria that can lead to a profound to be bad. To love the games too much, you can

to become drunk. But is it so different a snag to social networks?

Mass Effect 2.

Leave the earth is the opportunity to discover new planets, new

breeds and new way of thinking but above all, try to understand how

worlds different from ours.

See all this through a game it's absolutely enjoyable. And a title in

particular has bet on it: No man's Sky. A game whose sole purpose is to visit

new planets generated so procedural computer. And even if it's

beautiful, unfortunately, it does not work. The universe is so big that it's

becomes ridiculous, you can spend hours before finding any landscape that

worth it: pebbles, pebbles and more pebbles; we are far from paradise

trailers and necessarily the players have mouth. But finally, was not it

not a good metaphor for our universe ? A lot of empty, desert stones,

and sometimes, luckily, there is a little of life and magnificence. * put picture of

Earth*

But there are two series I love that have managed to integrate the discovery aspect

of New World while remaining consistent and especially by providing fun to play

: already, the trilogy Mass Effect obviously and especially the second episode.

Planets there are many, they are diversified, but that's not what we

remember these games, Mass Effect is played for his characters. Having some

alien breeds allows us to have discussions interesting with creatures that do not

think and do not feel like humans.

Because you can have the best writing possible if you create stories about

earth, it will be about humans with human problems. Science fiction

explodes that and Mass Effect is a very good example. I will always remember

the character of Tali, of a race having been chased from his planet by his own

machines, now living in ships traveling in space and having to wear

constantly combinations because of a immune system failing.

The second series of SF games that marked me it's the Metroid Prime. Here again

of planets to discover but it's up to total against current of Mass Effect, the scenario

is secondary, you are alone and absolutely everything wants to kill you on the planets that

you are visiting. We're never really immune in these games, it's dirty, it takes to

tripe, alternating between big moments of action pure and exploration what makes one

is still under pressure. We add to that very good gameplay and puzzles and that

gives us a series that I look forward to see Switch again.

Personally, I regret that no space game has not made me feel

the "sense of wonder"; a term difficult translatable that describes the emotion that you

feel about the immensity. Games in space are often more on the register

from the space battle to laser shot, or confined survival against monsters

aliens. There are probably things beautiful outside of our planet that

the human can not conceive. In the video game to make us dream, to put

our imagination in weightlessness.

The video game will have made us travel, fell in love and melted in tears. Not because

we are fragile individuals and socially disconnected; no. Because games are

great. Great for their ambition, their message, their realization and more than anything ... their

accuracy.

When a good movie ends, it's the end ; when a good book ends, it's the

end. Remember this sadness when you closed the last volume of Harry

Potter knowing that you'll never go again to reopen this world. But a game him, offers you

the opportunity to live a little longer in this universe that you cherish. Your games

favorites, you have finished them 100%, you have made sure to succeed all

the quests, complete any place of the map. One way to say that I have everything,

and now it's the end.

Harry Potter och Vem sjutton är du? [Eng sub] - Duration: 7:49.

Our next entry, or well, performance, skit

Is The Mischief Managers

The skit: Harry Potter and... who the hell are you?

Seamus: Hallihallo! (speaks with a thick, fake scania accent)

Seamus: What are you guys doing?

Wayne: We're having a meeting.

Seamus: A meeting?

For what?

Wayne: A meeting for… for students who no one knows who they are.

Anthony: It is sometimes nice for us other houses to meet alone.

Pansy: You Gryffindors take up a lot of space, to put it mildly.

Seamus: We don't take more space than everyone else?

Anthony: Gryffindor here and Gryffindor there.

When was the last time you heard someone mention Ravenclaw?

Wayne: Or Hufflepuff?

Pansy: Or Slytherin?

Without us having anything to do with Gryffindor?

Seamus: But you're Pansy Parkinson, everybody knows who you are!

Pansy: No, everyone knows who Draco Malfoy is.

Seamus: Yeah?

Pansy: Yes, I'm tired of being someone's beard!

Seamus: Beard?

Is he also- I mean…

Pansy: Please, Draco is just as straight as wet spaghetti.

Anthony: Don't worry, Finnigan, we already know about you and Dean Thomas.

Wayne: It's a secret, so the whole school knows.

Anthony: Not the whole school…

Pansy: Potter is not exactly observant, if you know what I mean.

Anthony: Not the warmest cauldron over the fire...

Wayne: Not the fastest broom in the game...

Pansy: When have you ever heard someone talk about me, as a person and not as a part of

Draco's obvious tries to make Potter jealous?

Seamus: But you! Aren't you the guy who was petrified during our second year?

Wayne: Hah, I wish.

Come on, I have had the seat behind you in Charms for several years!

You almost blew my nose off once!

Pansy: Oh, that's not a good look.

Seamus: Ernie Macmillan!

You were in Dumbledore's Army!

Anthony: I!

I was in DA!

Anthony Goldstein! Hallo?!

Seamus: Goldstein…?

Isn't it one of your relatives who had a thing with Newt Scamander?

Tina Goldstein?

Anthony: Why does everyone suddenly know that?!

It's never 'hello Anthony, how are you Anthony, happy Hanukka Anthony'.

Only Newt Newt Newt Newt!

Seamus: Hanukka?

Pansy: Oh wow, is ignorance contagious between you lions or?

Seamus: No, I do know what Hanukka is, its just never spoken about so I didn't know-

Anthony: Right, because it's always "ooh poor Potter who doesn't have a family,

ohh what will Potter do during the Christmas break?"

Hogwarts doesn't even celebrate my holidays!

I swear, it's like the teachers only mention me so they can check the PC box sometimes.

Wayne: Wayne Hopkins!!

My name is Wayne Hopkins, okay?!

Seamus: Nice to meet you-

Wayne: We are all in the same year!?!?!

Seamus: What, so all houses except Gryffindor meet up and talk?

Anthony: No, not necessarily.

Neville Longbottom used to be a part of it but we had to kick him out.

Wayne: He had potential, would have fitted right in into Hufflepuff, but now… tss tss

Pansy: Lavender Brown was a member in the beginning, but then

Wayne: Yeah, I really didn't recognize her by the end?

Pansy: It was like she completely changed character…

guess it's given if you want to be in the spotlight next to Harry Potter himself.

Seamus: But it can't be that räligt [horrible]?

Pansy: Räligt?

Anthony: He's Irish you know so…

Language...

Pansy: Ah, that's right.

Seamus: Harry hangs out with for example Luna Lovegood and Cho Chang.

Anthony: Cho Chang here and Cho Chang there!

Do you know how sick I am of her?

Sick to death!

Wayne: Sick to death?!

SICK TO DEATH?

We had Cedric Diggory, the star from Hufflepuff!

He sure was something, put Hufflepuff on the map if you know what I mean, but what happend?

Well, he DIED.

Pansy: Oh Merlin, not this again.

Wayne: It'll probably be a whole generation before we get someone worth mentioning in Hufflepuff again.

Anthony: Better that then to be put on the map because Harry P is suffering from yellow fever!

Pansy & Wayne: Gasp!!

Anthony: You heard me!

Pansy: You know you can't say things like that!

You're ruining all our chances of being seen more.

If you continue like this-

Wayne: No, don't say it!

Pansy: We will be cut away.

Seamus: Cut away?

Pansy: It's just an expression, but as soon as a student takes up too much space,

goes outside the norm so to speak, they disappear.

Anthony: When did you last see Susan Bones?

Or Peeves for that matter?

Or Winky?

Seamus: Winky…?

Anthony: Oh wow, Hermione Granger, your friend, starts SPEW Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare

and you're acting like it never happened.

I swear, it's sometime like there is two versions of Hogwarts.

Wayne: Like, ask yourself why you and Dean Thomas haven't come out to Potter, for example.

Seamus: It just hasn't been important for…

for...

Pansy: For?

For yours or his narrative, so to speak?

Seamus: Yes, well…

It hasn't been relevant for him to know, I guess.

He's so busy fighting You-Know-Who.

Wayne: But it's relevant for us seeing him trying to hook with Cho Chang?

Anthony: Ron Weasley's drooling with Lavender Brown?

And now the tension between Potter and Ginny.

He seems to have plenty of time with that.

Wayne: Poor Ginny.

From Dean Thomas' beard to Potter's.

You should start a new club with her.

Pansy: Already have.

We are a few (students).

There's meetings every other Thursday.

Wayne: A few?

Who?

Pansy: Oh you would be surprised.

Seamus: Hello!

That wasn't me!

So what was it?!

Pansy: Yes, well what do you guys think?

Dementors?

Death Eaters?

Anthony: An escaped serial killer?

Pansy: An ancient monster?

Anthony: A half rotten teacher with an even more rotten man on the back of his head?

Pansy: Bulgarians and Frenchmen?

Wayne: No, I cannot take more!!

Do you know how hard we have been working this year?!

Everyone said there was no point but we came together, all of us, and thought there was a chance!

But Potter has now of course, I don't know... played Ludo or something so you will win the house cup.

Seamus: We do also work hard to—

Wayne: Do you?!

Do you really?!

Seamus: Yes, well… maybe not as much now as before because well…

Harry usually happens to solve it last minute.

Voice off stage: Seamus Finnigan!

Seamus: I…

I must go.

Pansy: Yeah, hurry.

They probably want you to blow something up.

Anthony: Isn't that like your only character trait?

Wayne: At least he has a character trait!!!

Seamus: You guys also have some!

You are a Hufflepuff, so you like food and am loyal…

Wayne: Not all Hufflepuffs!

Seamus: Okay… but what about you, you are a Ravenclaw so you like books and am wise.

And you, you like snakes and ehh..

Pansy: One less lion won't make a difference, right?

Anthony: I'm gonna show you just how inventive a Ravenclaw can be...

Wayne: We're gonna turn you into shish kebab!

Wayne: What?

Pansy: You going directly to food ruins the whole point.

Wayne: Oh sorry.

Anthony: Hey, he's getting away!!
