Spinach and ricota pudding - Duration: 1:58.

• 400 g/14 oz fresh spinach leaves • olive oil as needed. • 6 garlic cloves • 250 g/8.8 oz ricotta cheese (or similar) • 1 tbsp capers • 3 medium eggs • black pepper to taste • nutmeg to taste • salt to taste • homemade tomato sauce as needed

• Make a homemade tomato sauce or buy one of premium quality. Heat the sauce if serving the puddings warm. • You can use small rectangular, square or round molds, or alternatively you can use a bigger rectangular cake tin and make a big pudding to slice.

Spinach and ricotta puddings (with homemade tomato sauce)

Olive oil

Chopped garlic

Sauté until fragant

Fresh spinach leaves

Mix well

Cover and cook over low heat

mixing once in a while until the leaves are soft

Let it cool down

Chop the spinach very well with a sharp knife

Put in a bowl

the ricotta cheese

Stir firmly to soften

Add the chopped spinach

Chopped capers

Mix

Add the eggs and mix to incorporate

Season to taste with black pepper

Nutmeg

and coarse salt

Mix again

Spray the molds (or brush with liquid butter or oil)

Fill with the mix

Cook in a preheated oven at 180ºC/350ºF for 15 to 20 minutes

or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean

Remove from the oven and unmold still hot

Put on a serving platter

Cover with tomato sauce

Serve warm or cold with more tomato sauce in a gravy boat

Trump Reportedly Wants His Chief Of Staff To Fire Jared And Ivanka - Duration: 4:32.

According to a new report by the New York Times, Donald Trump has reportedly enlisted

the help of chief of staff, John Kelly to try to get Ivanka Trump and Kushner out of

the White House.

Here's what's so fun about this story.

Now I know we have covered in depth the scandals going on between the two, between Ivanka and

Jared.

You have outside countries looking at Jared Kushner as a guy who's easily manipulable.

They think they could use him to get to Trump or get what they want in the US in exchange

for financial deal.

We've seen him do his little pay to play that was exposed this week.

Ivanka's now under investigation by the FBI.

Jared lost his full time security clearance and now has a restricted one.

So yeah, it makes perfect sense that Donald Trump would want to get these two morons out

of his White House.

But this is his daughter and his son-in-law we're talking about here, two people who were

grossly unqualified to even get positions in the White House and now because he put

his daughter and her husband there, he doesn't know how to get rid of them.

So he has to go to John Kelly and say, "Hey, John, look.

I know you and I aren't getting along very well recently and there's reports that you

want to quit.

But could you help me get these two idiots out of the White House because they're really

bringing down morale around here and they're probably gonna get us all a jail sentence

by the time this is all finished."

Now whether or not John Kelly actually wants to help Donald Trump do this, that's up in

the air.

We do know that Kelly was instrumental in getting Jared Kushner's security clearance

revoked.

So it's likely that Kelly could end up at least getting rid of Jared Kushner and if

Kushner goes, I'm sure Donald could talk to Ivanka and say, "Look, sweetie, your husband

had to go.

You're my daughter.

But you gotta get out of here with him.

I'll see you at Thanksgiving, I guess."

After this story broke, just a few hours later, actually, a new one came out saying Kushner

was prepared to dig in and really go after John Kelly if he decides to try to force Jared

and Ivanka out of the White House.

So we're kind of gearing up at this point for a massive Jerry Springer style fight between

John Kelly and Jared Kushner and to be perfectly honest with you, my money's gonna be on John

Kelly.

I know he's not a particularly savorable character.

But I do think in terms of any kind of altercation between the two, whether just words or, hell,

even if it gets physical, I'm pretty sure John Kelly's gonna knock Jared Kushner out

of the park on this and they need to.

It's not gonna get rid of all the corruption in the White House.

That starts at the heart with Trump.

But at least if you get rid of Jared and Ivanka, you can give the public at least the impression

that you're trying to take on the corruption in your White House, even if it is your own

family members and I think that's what Trump's trying to do here.

He understands he has a massive image problem and it pretty much starts with those two morons

that he put in office and so now he has to figure out a delicate way to get rid of his

daughter and her husband because they're helping to bring down this entire administration.

Now the other side of that is that if it happens, if Jared and Ivanka get kicked out of the

White House, is that gonna create any bad blood between them and the president?

Because if it does, that sounds like something that a guy like Robert Mueller could use against

Donald Trump and perhaps get somebody like Jared Kushner to flip.

Jared Kushner understands that with all of the investigations that he's currently under

and now his wife is too, they could be looking at some pretty hefty prison terms.

So what better way to get back at the man that kicks you out of the White House than

by rolling over on him to the special prosecutor?

That's what I'm hoping happens.

But I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Top 10 Top 10 Tangle The Lemur Surprising Facts - Duration: 5:50.

Hey guys!

Welcome back to Top 10 Gaming, I'm Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey.

We just got a taste of the new IDW Sonic comics coming in April, and every teaser makes me

more and more psyched for it.

It looks awesome.

The release of the new Lemur character Tangle has me pretty excited… and it's gotten

the Zoboomafoo theme song stuck in my head, but that's fine!

Now, Tangle has just been announced and I'm sure many of you are excited, but maybe too

lazy to look her up.

So, if you don't feel like reading through the release announcements, I'll do it for

ya.

But before you do that, get ready, it's time for the Top 10 Surprising Facts about

Tangle the Lemur!

Number 10: Tangle is the first Lemur character in Sonic!

It seems the roster of different animals is always expanding in Sonic, and personally

I couldn't be happier.

Adding new species allows for cool new abilities, something that could make the new comics take

on a life of their own!

Of course, it's still Sonic, and we're all in it for the speedy hedgehogs, but it'll

be cool to see the new powers the lemur brings to the table!

Speaking of new abilities…

Number 9: Abilities.

Based on the release, it looks like Tangle will have super speed to keep up with the

rest of the gang, but that's not all she's got.

She also has a prehensile tail, that can be used for a variety of things.

From the photos, you can see that she has incredible dexterity with her tail, even able

to make a fist with it to take Sonic's hand.

It's looking like Tails the Fox might have competition in the powerful tail department.

Number 8: That Tail Though.

Turns out it's no accident that her tail is a huge part of her character.

According to IDW associate editor David Mariotte in an IGN interview, they knew they wanted

her to have a special ability connected to one of her features before she even had a

name!

Taking a page from Tails' book, they decided to go with a ring-tailed lemur, who could

use her tail like a whip, or like a fist.

Which they thought was super cool.

And frankly, I'm inclined to agree.

The only problem is that ring-tailed lemurs don't actually have prehensile tails, but

hey, hedgehogs can't break the sound barrier either, we gotta go with the flow.

Number 7: Origin of her name.

You might wonder where Tangle gets her name.

Tails is named after his tails, Shadow is shadowy, Knuckles has big knuckles… but

why Tangle?

Does her tail get tangled up a bunch?

Apparently not.

According to Mariotte, she was named Tangle because she enjoys Tangling with enemies.

Yeah.

Not the best explanation, considering that's true of most Sonic characters, and frankly

it isn't a word that's used all that much to describe fighting in the first place.

Don't get me wrong, the name's FINE, it just doesn't seem quite as inspired as some

of the others.

Number 6: She may be loosely based on Tiara the Manx.

If you watched my video on the hottest Sonic characters, trust me, don't ask, you'll

know about Tiara the Manx.

She was a planned love interest of Sonic's, meant to match his spunk and attitude, but

ended up being scrapped.

Based on what we've learned so far about Tangle being Sonic's kindred spirit, and

having similar attitudes to him, it seems like they've taken some aspects planned

for Tiara and given them to Tangle.

They both even have names starting with T. And the lower case t looks like a cross…

Illuminati confirmed!

Okay, might have taken the theory too far now, but the Tiara thing could totally be

true!

Number 5: She was designed by Tyson Hesse.

This might not mean a ton to some of you, but I'm sure the hardcore Sonic comic fans

will recognize the name.

Hesse worked as an artist for the Archie Sonic Comics from 2014 to 2017, although he's

probably best-known for creating Diesel from Boom Comics.

And it seems that Tyson will be working a fair bit on the IDW comics, having led the

design of Tangle, with the help of other artists including J.N.

Wiedle and Matt Herms.

Number 4: She was created by Ian Flynn.

While Hesse did end up designing the character, it was based on the concept created by Ian

Flynn.

Some fans will find it pretty awesome that Flynn created this character, since many fans

have a soft spot for the guy.

He was actually an amateur comic writer, but just sent in a bunch of proposals to Archie,

and ended up becoming a writer for the Archie Comics.

And now he'll be working on IDW's Sonic comics!

Talk about a Cinderella story.

Number 3: Slow reveal.

A lot of people only learned about Tangle when she was straight up released on January

24th, but IDW actually had a much more prolonged reveal.

Starting with a dark silhouette of a mystery character, for the next 4 days they revealed

a bit more of the picture.

It was a bit of a troll, because it totally looked like Sally, which I think is pretty

hilarious.

This got a bunch of fans pretty psyched for what was to come, and I think it's something

they should continue to employ.

With the comic still a while away, they need to keep people interested, and this is a great

way to keep Sonic on the mind of fans.

Number 2: Species.

Tangle isn't just a generic lemur, they've gone further and specified that she's a

ring-tailed lemur.

This can allow us to draw some conclusions as to other powers she might have.

For example, lemurs are highly social animals, often huddling together to keep warm and reaffirm

social bonds.

This is sometimes called a Lemur Ball.

And you know what would make a pretty awesome special ability?

Lemur Ball.

It sounds like it could be Tangle's version of Sonic's Homing attack, and the name would

actually fit with her species.

Eh?

Maybe she could even hug her allies to make it even stronger!

IDW if you want it you can have it, just give me credit!

Number 1: Blaze is back!

It looks like Tangle is a friend of Blaze, based on the issue descriptions.

We've now learned that Issue 4 will be the introduction to Tangle, and that she and Blaze

will be encountered in the same town, defending an attack from Badnicks.

This could mean that Tangle is from that town, or it could be that she's already friends

with Blaze.

Or both!

Which sounds nice, but if Blaze has a new friend, that might close the door to Silver

being involved in the near future, which would kinda suck for Silver fans out there.

About this she said- I thought at first my physiological reaction was a product of Davids

face but no- it was Gillian who still is the queen of my heart- so I knew then.

In at number 4--Speaking of Gillian Anderson she is also someone who had relationships

with women.

Back in 2014 she said that she owed it to her late female partner to not keep their

relationship a secret.

Anderson said her partner had died of a brain tumour a year earlier and that she never really

spoken about it.

She also said- She was a beautiful person who was very meaningful in her life and she

wanted to honour her instead of hiding her experience.

At number 3--Michael Sam- This former NFL star came out as gay and made history as the

first gay player to be drafted.

He came out in 2014 and shortly after said that coming out as gay actually ruined his

NFL care.

About this he said- I think if I never would have come out- never would have said those

words out to the public- I would still be currently in the NFL.

But because of me saying those words I think it could have played a huge part in my current

situation.

Coming in at number 2--Amandla Stenberg- this hunger games star came out as bisexual back

in 2016.

The actor who played Roo in the hit series revealed her sexuality almost as an after

thought while she took over teen vougues Snapchat profile.

On the subject of minorities being silenced she said- As someone who identifies as a black

bisexual woman ive been through it – and it hurts and its awkward and uncomfortable.

She also posted on her Tumbler page about the lack of media representation of women

of colour And in at our number 1 spot--Daniel Newman-

This walking dead star came out as gay back in 2017 in a youtube video.

He said that he was volunteering at homeless youth centre when he met this young girl and

through them talking he actually changed his mind about hiding his sexuality.

The actor said as he and the girl were talking she thanked him for helping with their LGBT

community.

After he had questioned why she was thanking him- her response was because youre straight.

And he says that's the moment he knew he had to come out.

The actor told the girl he wasn't straight and she was shocked and asked him why have

you never said that publically before?

You could help save lives.

About this conversation he said- it hit me like a gut-punch.

It felt like someone knocked the wind out from me.

And I realised how important it is in this day and age to be visible- to let people know

who you are.

got him today we're gonna be talking about YouTube because over the past week

or so YouTube is kind of just grinding my gears a little bit I was originally

planning on making a video on supreme patty and I was gonna clown the dude

and be like haha supreme patty your videos are trash and don't get me wrong

supreme patty makes trash videos but we all kind of know that already and I

don't want to be the guy making fun of the person everyone already knows his

bad like how many of you would actually be entertained if I made a video be like

what lele pons sucks didn't know that like I don't know I personally just

want to make videos that are entertaining to me and hopefully you

guys as well and I feel like I have a pretty decent judgment of what's

entertaining and what's not entertaining at least to some extent and today I

wanna talk about YouTube as many of you probably know I was on track last

year late last year like December to be monetized by YouTube and of course they

put in these new creator partner rules or whatever that makes it so that now

I'm not eligible until I hit a thousand subs and that's gonna happen and it'll

happen and I'm not like upset about it is what it is right but YouTube since

then has kind of just been doing a lot of stupid stuff earlier this week they

had a mistake where they like a ton of people I guess were accidentally deleted

from the partner program so they're losing money essentially because

YouTube's goofed up or Google goofed up or one of those two things it's kind of

the same thing and on that same day they promoted Prince flippin Ea as if that

dude didn't need any more followers actually he didn't need more followers

in case guys forgot Prince Ea doesn't care about a social media following

numbers he doesn't he said so himself we sit at home on our computers measuring

self-worth by numbers of followers and likes

so why are you promoting that pooper for Black History Month

when there are hundreds if not thousands of black creators on the platform who

are making more interesting content not to mention more content but guys made

two videos this year and one of them was a video saying he was gonna quit YouTube

and that was a 10 second long video I just I don't get it guys YouTube is so

stinkin incompetent and yesterday which is today today I'm recording

they got YouTube is just so YouTube and in the worst way YouTube is trying so

hard to be like Wendy's on social media but it just doesn't work when it's

hashtag Women's History Month but the pay gap is still a thing and look I I

really don't want to get political I'm not gonna get political I'll say that

right now I'm not gonna be a political I don't give a flip whether or not there's

a pay gap and I don't think it matters please don't comment and talk about the

pay gap I don't give a flip about the pay gap what I do care about is that

YouTube is promoting an overtly political video from a channel that has

posted one time in the past six months why who does that help granted the

channel makes decent content I'm not gonna lie although I don't give a flip

about the content of this video it's a very well-made video but I would much

prefer you to promote a channel that has made a video in 2018 before February

28th or whenever it was this video was posted promote a flippin video promote a

creator promotes something that's either made by someone who doesn't have 2.2

million subscribers or from a channel that's posted at some point this year I

what's the like gosh dude I'm sorry i'm so triggered but it just sucks YouTube is

such a poop platform like don't get me wrong the ability to make videos and post

videos on YouTube is great I love it and I think that it's a very awesome thing

but youtube is so incompetent gosh look at this flippin tweet me I wish I had

more hours in the day to do all this stuff I need to do also meet watches the

same video of the dog on loop for 45 minutes

YouTube's response to the Women's History Month tweet whoever runs this

account should be fired YouTube disagree I don't know if a lot of you

guys know this I don't most you probably don't follow sports I would guess cuz

this is YouTube but a couple years ago there was a tweet that the Houston

Rockets Twitter account made it's a basketball team the Houston Rockets

they're playing the Dallas Mavericks which is a team that has like a horse as

its logo or its mascot whatever you want to call it the person who then managed

the Houston Rockets social media made a tweet that somewhat depicted a horse

getting killed as a joke of like oh the Rockets are gonna kill the Mavericks

tonight that person got fired for that tweet that tweet alone this tweet is so

bad it is so terrible that you ever made this tweet should be fired for this

tweet honestly I'm not even that's not a joke I know this channel is like comedy

under its subcategory that's not a joke fire your social media person hire

flippin me I don't care hire Ricky Berwick to do your social

media and respond to all these tweets with videos of him sticking his tongue

out and licking his teeth that is better you know honestly hire the person from

United Airlines you know United might accidentally book too many people on a

flight and chokeslam a dude and drag him off a plane but you know what at least

they have someone there to say what's going on

we're here to chat about anything it's gonna be trouble jr. I mean that that

person would be better at social media than YouTube or whoever it is at YouTube

hired what the flip YouTube what the flip you ruin it in my first video in my

new setup by the way guys rate my setup in the comments like this video and rate

you'd be mistaken I truly hate the people who run YouTube from the trending

page of the demonetization to tweets like this YouTube and yet you follow us

youtube you're trash you're trash just just focus on getting people monetized focus

on winning over advertisers focus on staying competitive because right now

YouTube is literally fighting itself snapchat Instagram all these platforms

none of these flipping people are making dumb

stupid tweets none of them are they're just staying out of their own way but

YouTube apparently can't figure that out for itself I don't really I don't know

obviously I'm just a small creator and my thoughts really don't matter all that

much and I understand that but at the end of the day YouTube please do

something here's the one last thing I'm gonna say remember how earlier I

referenced that I was on track to be monetized and then obviously I hadn't

panned out yet I'm gonna mention one small creator Kwite however you feel

about his content here's what quite says the team YouTube hi my application for

monetization has been under review for close to two months and I still haven't

heard a single thing on its status is there anything I can do to accelerate it

or is there any reason for the holdup he's you tweeted that February 27th it

is now March 1st no response they will never respond because there aren't

they're responding to other tweets but for whatever reason I've responded that

guy quite by the way there it's not they're just gonna say a couple weeks

and they're gonna keep saying a couple weeks until it eventually happens I was

supposed to be reviewed on November 30th they haven't reviewed so they had it's

been since November 30th that this process has gone on which is December

January February okay so it's been four months but or three months whatever if

you want to if you want to say no it's been four months it's been four months

so yeah good job YouTube you're getting some of the bad channels oh wait no

because there's still a ton of reuploaded videos and stolen content all

over YouTube I don't really know what you guys are doing you should have some

sort of program where people can flag videos and you then manually review them

and get those videos off the internet but for whatever reason there's still a

ton of licensed content go look up like NBA highlights that aren't posted by the

NBA themselves or football highlights that aren't

posted by the NFL themselves or TV show clips that have been stolen from TV

Airline Fees | What to Expect & How to Avoid These Charges - Duration: 5:44.

Hi there, it's Ernest from Trip Astute. In this video, we're discussing annoying

airline fees that are common in the industry, and what you can do to avoid them.

Every time I travel, I seem to be paying more fees for things that were

previously free or less expensive. This is especially true when flying. I know

that the airlines have been struggling for years, so they're looking for ways to

capture more revenue. But I have to say that as a traveler and customer, it really

doesn't feel like I'm getting more value for my money. So today, I'm going to

review some of the fees that seem to annoy me the most. It's not a

comprehensive list, but I think you'll experience these fees at some point, if

you haven't already, when flying. Number 1: Baggage fees. One of the most

annoying fees is paying for checked-in luggage. The airlines will generally

charge you a fee for domestic flights, but you're usually allowed a free

check-in bag for international flights. I gently recommend avoiding the entire

process by packing only carry-on luggage, but sometimes it's unavoidable. During

our recent holiday trip to the UK, we had to carry a lot of presents, so we end up

checking in our bags. Though since it was an international flight, we were able to

avoid the baggage fees. Also, beware of luggage weight and size restrictions.

Most airlines have a soft limit of 50 pounds or 23 kilograms before charging

you a fee. I recommend always leaving a little bit of spare room in your

carry-on bag in case you're a bit over the limit. That way you can transfer some

of your clothes to your bag at the check-in counter. Another trick is to

pack a collapsible duffle bag in case you need it. If you have a bag that's

barely carry-on compliant, like a medium-sized roller bag, you can usually

gate check the bag for free before boarding your flight. This is a great way

to check in your bag without having to pay any fees. I've used this trick a few

times, especially when I'm on a full flight and I happen to be in a late boarding

group. Since space is limited on the plane, I usually have my bag checked in

for free, which saves me the hassle of searching for overhead bin space. Though

it does mean that I usually have to go to the baggage claim when I land. If you

prefer to check in your bag when flying, you may also want to consider a co-

branded airline credit card. These cards often have perks like free checked-in

bags, so it can save you money, especially if

you fly often. Lastly, be aware that some budget airlines will even charge you for

carry-on bags. I noticed this when I flew Ryanair while traveling in Europe. Number

2: Fuel surcharges. This one is really tricky. Many airlines will include a fuel

surcharge with the cost of a ticket, and it can sometimes add up to be nearly the

same cost as a ticket fare. I usually will search multiple airlines until I

find one that doesn't charge me a fuel surcharge or one that is reasonable. I've

included a link to an article from Reward Expert that breaks down the

different fuel charges per airline and destination. Keep in mind too that if you

have points for a specific airline, you can often book award flights on partner

airlines if they're part of the same alliance and avoid the fee. Number 3:

Internet charges. While I understand the need to charge for Internet service

while flying, I'm including it in the list since prices are generally high

and the service is extremely slow. I honestly don't think that it's gotten

any faster since the technology was first introduced. In fact, I try not to

get Wi-Fi on a plane unless I really need it since the speed tends to frustrate me

and drain my laptop battery.

If you do need wifi on a flight, check to to see if you can

purchase it in advance for a cheaper rate.

For example, if your flight is

equipped with Gogo internet, you can purchase a variety of passes before your

trip directly from Gogo for usually much cheaper than the price during the flight.

Number 4: Advance boarding and check-in. Some airlines are now charging

extra to give you priority boarding, or in the case of Southwest, to check you in

automatically so you're in an early boarding group. To be honest, this is one

fee that I usually will pay when flying Southwest because I don't want to deal

with the hassle of searching for an overhead bin space. Plus, I don't want to

have to struggle with checking in when I might not have good connectivity,

especially when exploring the outdoors. And number 5: Airline seat fees. This

is probably the most offensive fee to me. In fact, I feel like it's almost a scam.

Sometimes when you attempt to select your seats, you'll notice that the seat

map is full, but the option to purchase a premium seat is available. However, the

occupied regular seats are not actually filled. They're just being held for

award and priority travelers. While I understand why the airlines do it, I did

have a recent experience with American Airlines that seemed a bit sketchy. Fiona

and I were traveling to the UK during the holidays, and when checking into our

flight, we noticed that there were no seats next to each other. I decided to

purchase premium seats so we could sit together and opted for the lower price

ones. We were surprised that as soon as we made the purchase, all the locked seats

became available, even the ones that were more expensive than the ones that we

paid for. I was really glad that I didn't purchase the more expensive premium

seats, but the whole experience did leave me feeling a bit cheated. While I hate to

assume the worst, it felt like the airlines were forcing me to purchase

premium seats by creating artificial scarcity. While it's not illegal, it

definitely felt wrong to me. And those are my most hated and annoying airline

fees. I know that there are more out there, but these are the ones that seem

The Department of Veterans Affairs is unfortunately not an organization associated with providing

our military veterans with the best possible care they deserve.

Back in 2014, the VA was exposed for fostering an environment where veterans experienced

extraordinarily long wait times, which in some cases resulted in the deaths of these

veterans, and it was also revealed that a few VA officials worked very hard to cover

this up.

The scandal was so bad that it finally prompted politicians on both sides of the aisle to

call for massive reforms within the VA health care system.

Reforming the VA has, and continues to be a main priority for President Trump.

When he assumed the office of President, he wasted no time cleaning house at the VA, getting

rid of employees who didn't deserve to be there.

Even before President Trump signed the Veterans Affairs Accountability and Whistleblower Act,

he managed to fire 566 staffers.

The VA has a total staff of about 345,000 people, and to terminate more than 500 in

less than six months is a significant message to other VA employees that they need to be

performing at their best.

When President Trump signed the Veterans Affairs Accountability and Whistleblower Act, the

law removed job protections many VA employees had enjoyed for years while they abused our

veterans.

Specifically, the law removes the civil service due process protections for all VA employees

as well as creates the logistics to fire people faster.

When he signed this much-needed legislation, President Trump said, "Some of the employees

involved in these [wait list] scandals remained on the payrolls.

Outdated laws kept the government from holding those who failed our veterans accountable."

This accountability has finally been put on display for all of America to see, and reinforces

that President Trump is keeping his campaign promise of draining the swamp, especially

when it comes to the VA.

Taking a look at employee firings in the VA during the second half of 2017, covering the

period from August to mid December of this year, the total amount of firings rose from

566 to 756, or an average of approximately 94 fired VA employees per month.

Gone are the days when VA employees can put veterans on wait lists, neglect their job

duties, and still collect a paycheck without consequence.

In response to the massive amount of firings going on at the VA, Marilyn Park, who is a

legislative representative for the American Federation of Government Employees said, "I

don't think this has accomplished what they want it to accomplish."

However, this sentiment is not shared within the Trump administration or those who still

have their jobs at the VA.

Refuting the claims of Ms. Park, and others who somehow feel victimized by this legislation

intended to protect our veterans, Curt Cashour, a VA spokesman said, "The (legislation)

is one of the most significant federal civil service reforms in decades and is helping

instill across the department the type of workforce accountability veterans and taxpayers

deserve."

It is this very accountability which is much needed in the VA system, and which government

employee unions would rather do without.

The Trump administration is also setting a precedent by being the first administration

to have the VA publicly post the statistics of employees they fire, asserting that the

move provides a level of transparency which taxpayers and veterans deserve.

Some of the most notable firings were the eight senior staff dismissed from their positions

by the Trump administration, four of which were sent packing before President Trump signed

the Veterans Affairs Accountability and Whistleblower Act.

VA spokesman Curt Cashour has made it very clear that all VA workers regardless of position

will be fired if they do not perform at the level they are expected to, saying, "Culture

spans the entire organization.

As with any government agency or business, VA has more rank-and-file workers than senior

leaders, and we hold them accountable when warranted, regardless of rank or position."

The VA did not indicate when, how, or if the 700 plus firings that took place in 2017 have

seen replacements.

The AFGE, which is the largest government employee union has been critical of these

new protections afforded to our veterans by claiming foolishly that increased firings

don't necessarily equate to more accountability.

However, the Trump administration disagrees, and it is clear that with the massive amount

of firings which have taken place, those employees who remain in the VA system are very likely

staying on their toes ensuring that their job performance warrants them keeping their

job which in the end was what President Trump and his administration intended.

What Obama Did This Week Instead Of Attending Billy Graham's Funeral.

The memorial services for America's pastor Billy Graham continue this week as former

presidents and politicians pay their respect to the man who served God with all his heart.

This past week we have seen former President George W. Bush and former President Bill Clinton

honoring Reverend Billy Graham in separate services, with President Trump attending Graham's

funeral on Friday.

However, there is one previous president that has decided to skip Reverend Billy Graham's

funeral service and it really comes as no surprise.

Former President Barack Obama announced that he would not attend the funeral services of

the beloved Reverend, but instead will focus on his own personal interests instead.

During Obama's presidency, he claimed to the world that he was a Christian and that

he supported religious freedom.

However, that turned out not to be the case as Obama did all that he could to target Christians

with his actions and policies.

For instance, who could forget Obama's stance on Hobby Lobby when they pushed back against

his unconstitutional Obamacare mandate forcing employers to provide birth control, or his

statements saying that rural Americans were foolish people who clung to their religion

and guns.

With all that being said it comes as no surprise that when Reverend Billy Graham passed away

last week, that Obama would not be apart of the memorial services to honor his life.

Though while Obama's snub is predictable what he is choosing to do that day is, needless

to say, is disgusting.

Barack Obama announced that he was choosing to skip the memorial for Graham and instead

would travel to his hometown of Chicago to promote the building of his presidential library.

Barack Obama has chosen not to participate in any of the events honoring evangelist Billy

Graham this week, but he did carve out time to make a surprise visit to a community meeting

in Chicago to promote the building of his presidential library.

Graham met, and in some cases became close friends, with every president from Harry Truman

to Obama during his tenure as America's Pastor, which stretched from the 1940s to

the 21st century.

He in fact also earned the moniker of Pastor to the Presidents.

Trump was not able to meet with Graham as president but was on hand to help celebrate

the preacher's 95th birthday in 2013.

Obama met Graham in the spring of 2010 at the evangelist's home in Montreat, North

Carolina.

As reported by The Western Journal, George W. Bush and his wife Laura traveled to Graham's

library in Charlotte on Monday to pay their respects to the late Christian leader.

Bush also came bearing greetings from his 93-year-old father George H.W. Bush — the

nation's 41st president — saying, "I know he wished he could come too, but he's

not moving around much these days, but his spirit and heart is here."

Former President Jimmy Carter, also 93 and has experienced health challenges, sent his

regrets.

Former President Bill Clinton, like George W. Bush, made the journey to Charlotte on

Tuesday.

Clinton told reporters that he first heard Graham preach in Little Rock, Arkansas when

the future politician was an 11-year-old boy.

He said meeting him later as an adult was one of the most memorable events of his life.

Clinton noted that Graham demanded that his 1959 Little Rock crusade be integrated and

threatened to pull out when city leaders resisted.

The pastor also became a strong supporter of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s fight for

racial equality.

"The ground at the foot of the cross is level, and it touches my heart when I see

whites standing shoulder to shoulder with blacks at the cross," Graham said.

The Associated Press reported on Monday that Obama "is not planning to attend memorial

services for the late evangelist Rev. Billy Graham this week."

As previously stated, it comes as no big shock that Barack Obama would not attend the funeral

services and to be perfectly honest why would he?

For years, Obama mocked the Christian faith with his attitude and administrative policies

that created tremendous disrespect toward Christians, and that is not about to change

after Graham's death.

It is evident to the world that Obama only cares about one thing and that is his legacy,

and he is not about to let Graham overshadow him.

At least, Graham will be laid to rest surrounded by people that honor and respect him and not

have someone attend his services that could care less about the Christian faith.
