Youtube daily report w Mar 23 2018

Hello everyone! Kat here and I've got...a box!

This is going to be the Redbird Vintage Box monthly subscription box unboxing.

How many times can I say box?

If you want to count in this video, let me know in the comments down below how many I come up with.

I'm actually kind of curious now.

Anyways, so I received my Redbird Vintage Box and I got the same size as I usually do,

it's the Laurene, which is their largest box.

It's $100 plus shipping, which is $10 so it comes out to be $110.

And it looks smaller than usual.

Am I crazy or is it a little smaller?

Maybe I just have smaller items in this box this time, but I kind of want to do like a side-by-side comparison

with a previous video to see if it's actually smaller.

It seems to be, but that might be my imagination.

I don't know, anyways I'm excited to see what's in here.

So let's hop right in.

Okay, let's see what's inside here.

So as always it is wrapped in some lovely pink tissue paper.

And the first item on top is the general card that's always in here.

It says "Yay! It's Redbird Vintage Box day."

And it's got an explanation of all the details about the different boxes

and then on the other side is a list of the items in your individual box,

so I'm not gonna look at this just yet because I like to be surprised,

but I like to look at it at the end and kind of see all the details.

And then we've got a cute little photo on here and on the back it says

"It's March. This glorious month celebrates many special days including but not limited to national pig day,

"old stuff day," I didn't know either of those,

"Oscar night, International Women's Day and the luckiest of all days St. Patrick's Day."

Let's see what is in my box here.

So I'm gonna look at the--

Aw, that's cute.

I'm gonna look at the accessories pouch first.

Isn't that adorable?

They decorates their packaging with either broken or not authentic vintage items

as a little add-on accessory thing.

And this is a little brooch and look how cute, it's so sparkly.

I'm gonna put it on right now. It's what I do.

Isn't that awesome?

I feel like this would look really cute on like a handbag.

All right let's see what's in here.

It feels pretty full.

Alright, first thing is--

(gasps) Be still my heart!

It's a black cat!

Aww.

If you haven't seen my videos before, I have a black cat.

Her name is Mary and she is the sweetest thing on the planet.

And they gave me a black cat brooch.

Aww.

I don't know why this makes me feel like emotional. What is up with me?

But that is so adorable and there's also another brooch in here

and I had requested on one of--

I'm not sure if it was this exact one or not, but they have some images on their Instagram that you can request

from and I said oh that one's cool, I would like something like that and it was a face.

I just thought

that was really neat and this lady is like super stylish, her eyelashes are on fleek.

Do people still say that, on fleek?

I'm not with the times, kids.

Anyways, I think that's gonna be, that black cat's gonna be my favorite item

and it was the first thing, so that's fun.

And, ooh.

Wow, oh my gosh that's so pretty.

What?

This is so gorgeous.

I think it's tiger's eye.

This beautiful long chain with this pendant.

These are my favorite kinds of necklaces where it's just a long chain with a statement

kind of pendant on it and this is just,

this is perfect.

Wow I love this so much.

On to the next one.

Oh it's another tiger's eye thing.

This is another necklace.

Oh, this would be great for layering the two together.

Oh that's gorgeous.

It's got like a geometric kind of centerpiece here and tiger's eye beads.

Oh that's so pretty.

We're still going, there's still two more things in here.

We've got a ring.

I love rings, I'm kind of obsessed.

This is really pretty, it's like almost got like a kind of scroll design.

That's beautiful.

And I was actually just thinking when I was doing my jewelry collection declutter

I don't have a lot of gold rings, so I like that I have another gold one to put in my collection.

We've got one more thing in here.

So this was an add-on item that I forgot I got.

I actually got this for a gift for a friend because they are into cameras

and it actually looks a lot cooler in person.

So this was only I think it was like, I don't know, a few dollars.

The add-on items are items that are either damaged or not authentic vintage

and you can get them for really cheap,

so I picked this one up for a friend and it's got this really cool like domed part for the camera lens

which is really neat.

It looks even cooler in person.

All right, on to everything else in here.

So it looks like there are some scarves on top, that's my guess.

So we've got this light blue one,

just a small square scarf with flowers on it, very cute.

And then here's another one.

Oh, I love this purple.

This is one of my favorite colors.

Actually it might be, my favorite color I'm always torn between this and the burnt orange

like 70s kind of color as my two favorite colors.

So this one's a little bit larger square scarf, very cute.

And then one more square scarf here.

Another little one that's a really pretty pink, kind of a deep pink.

So now we've got, looks like a couple clothing items in here

and these were the items that I requested, so yeah they are both things that I requested.

So this is a 90s like velvety dress and I think Sarah was showing this,

yes in one of their YouTube videos, which if you're not subscribed to them you definitely should.

I'll link them down below and in the cards if I can do that.

So yeah, this is just a really pretty velvety dress.

So I was born in the 90s and I'm kind of on the same page as Sarah where I'm like 90s isn't vintage yet.

But I guess it is.

But I like 90s dresses so I'm okay with that.

It still it feels like 90s shouldn't be vintage yet because it was so not that long ago,

it feels like to me, but I'm sure some of you are like "Oh my god you're so old," but whatever.

I think this dress is really pretty.

And then the other item that I requested from that same YouTube video,

there were a lot of good stuff in that YouTube video in my opinion anyway,

was this this long jean skirt.

And I never thought that I would get a jean skirt to be honest, but I saw it in the video

and I was like, I feel like I could rock that.

I used to have, it wasn't like a miniskirt, it was like knee-length jean skirt

and that was one of my absolute favorite things in the world in like middle school and high school,

probably middle school.

But I saw this and I was just like yeah I could do it.

I can pair that with like a plain long-sleeve white shirt and I feel like that would be pretty darn cute for Spring.

So anyways that is everything from this box.

So, smaller box size but packed with amazing stuff and I don't know how Sarah does it,

but she found wonderful things that I really love

and this black cat just, this is definitely my favorite.

It's so cute!

So that's it for the unboxing.

I feel like this was, I always have fun with these because, A, they're vintage.

They're secondhand so it's not contributing to the waste of the clothing industry

and all of the environmental damage that all of the clothes getting thrown away causes.

B, this stuff is really great quality, it's in amazing condition.

And, C, it's so customizable and Sarah always finds really great stuff for me.

Sometimes stuff that I don't think I'll love that I do end up loving

and just some stuff that I know are absolutely, I'm instantly in love with.

So yeah I feel like this was a really good value.

I know it is expensive,

but you're really getting the customization of someone picking out everything for you

and tailoring it to you, to your exact sizes and your tastes.

You can choose which decades you're interested in.

I more prefer the later decades, so like 70s and 90s

and, you know, I think a lot of people might see that and say well you can just find that at the thrift store,

like that's not that great.

But like I said, the value comes in someone picking stuff out that's just tailored to you and your tastes.

So anywho, I think it's great.

If you want to try out Redbird Vintage Box you can feel free to use my code KPARKER10.

That will get you 10% off your first box, which is pretty awesome.

Let me know in the comments down below if you already have Redbird Vintage Box

and what you got this month or maybe what your favorite item was this month.

I would love to know.

Other than that please like this video if you enjoyed it

and subscribe if you haven't already, if you like seeing unboxings and hauls

and that sort of thing because I'm Kat and I love boxes.

Bye!

(calming music)

Look Mary, it's you.

Do you like it?

(Mobile phone ringing)

Hello sir

This happened around 11 pm approximately sir.

Sir!

She has been raped.

Yeah, like that.

Hello!

It is too late now.

I won't be coming now, as it is too late in the night. Hmmm?

I will come in the morning.

No issues, right?

Okay.

Hello sir.

Sir!

It does not appear to be a robbery attempt.

It looks like a planned personal attack.

The milk maid was the first to see it in the morning.

What a pity!

The accused in Chennai Swati murder case died mysteriously.

You can't believe anything anymore, everything is just a farce!

Nothing is safe.

But, that is not what I have a problem with.

They were so many people at the station,

but nobody gave a damn.

Nobody came forward to help even when

she was bleeding for two hours on the platform.

You can't expect much these days.

These days safety is like a luxury.

But, in my opinion our girls must be a little more careful too.

I don't see these things happening to cultured girls, who abide by our society's rules.

You can't be sure about that.

Why, why can't we be sure?

I also have seen women.

There is one staying right beside my house.

I told you right?

She lives alone.

She goes out and comes back whenever she pleases.

Often, she is accompanied by different people.

She is a divorcee.

It is bound to be that way, right?

All such things are not entertained here!

-But the girl who died is not that type. -I am talking in general.

I understand your problem.

You haven't gotten the chance to go there, yet right?

Go man, I am a decent guy, okay?

(All agree in sarcastic tone)

Shhhhh!

Brother, I need to renew this book.

Hey, this is the 'thing' I was talking about! Look, look!

Hmmm.

Name please.

Chinta – 163903

Please sign here

Okay, alright.

Thank you.

These guys…

- Hello Master. - Hello

- See you. - Ha

Yes sir.

She is staying here alone.

She must be about 30 years old.

She is not close with anyone in the vicinity.

What's the status?

- She is still in the ICU. - Oh!

- Nothing serious, right? - No…hmm..not sure!

Excuse me sir.

Huh?

Can you move the car a little please?

What is wrong now?

Don't you see?

Why are you blaming me if you do not know how to drive?

Move it a little forward, then reverse it and go!

Sir this is too much!

The way you parked the car itself is wrong.

Not just me, no one else will be able to drive this way.

I requested you to move the car and is this the way you react to it?

Oho!

You should be having basic civic sense.

At least showcase some decency, sir!

Are you teaching me decency?

Girl, first thing!

Learn how to dress decently, like a woman is ought to.

Don't invite trouble.

Don't teach me decency.

Okay uncle!

Huh!

Uh, Mani sir is here.

Who the hell is she?

Ah, sir! She has preached to you as well.

This is the 'thing' I was talking about.

Highly modern!

She has come to teach me decency.

Leave it sir, after all she is a woman!

Woman? Is this what you call a woman?

If your cultural rubble is done, can you'll please stop?

Isn't this a library?

<i>(Crowd shouting)</i> - Ah, guys! Come, come!

Then where are you looking when you are driving?

Brother, I was looking at the mirror and taking reverse.

I dint notice her as she is too short!

How can you say that? Is that an excuse?

Is that an excuse to get away with what you did?

- I'm alright, nothing has happened to me. - I'm sorry!

Hey, there is no use of saying sorry now.

What if something had happened to her?

- At least have some humanity and take her to the hospital. - Arvind, come, Leave it!

Hey girl. Weren't you the one trying to teach me decency?

What has happened now?

<i>(Crowd murmuring)</i> What if something had happened to that old lady? What has happened now?

<i>(Crowd murmuring)</i> What if something had happened to that old lady?

<i>(Crowd murmuring)</i> Hey, there is no use of saying sorry now.

<i>(Outside)</i> What if something had happened to that old lady?

<i>(Outside)</i> At least have some humanity and take her to the hospital.

Okay, I'll take care of it.

Move aside.

You and your mobile phones! Bullshit!

-What's the matter? -The old lady got hit by the car.

Please ask if they need any help.

Daughter, I'll come along.

No sir. I'll manage.

Anyway thanks.

Sir.

Here is the 161 Statement from the neighbours.

-She was not close to any of them. -Hmm.

So, that's why nobody knows anything in detail.

But, they say someone visits her often.

(Mobile phone ringing)

Sir, also, people are very casually saying that they heard someone screaming.

Sir, one of the neighbours is waiting outside,

should I call him?

Hmm.

Ah, okay sir!

Have you sent the lady police to the school?

Yes sir, I have already sent them.

-Okay! -Ha

Sir, when we talk about a country's culture and values,

why do we always refer to the conventions from the past?

Isn't what we see around us today a part of our culture?

But, the youth, especially girls

do not care about our traditions and social values...

...and thus invite trouble. Isn't this another perspective?

I don't really understand why you mentioned ''especially girls''

And, when we talk about morality why do we always refer to sexuality?

And, most of the moral ethics you referred to

are actually restrictions imposed on us, women.

Can I ask you something?

Do you know the male version of the word ''virgin'' in our language?

Ahh! But, that's like…

You don't know, right?

That's because there is nothing of the sort.

We never thought it was necessary.

(Mobile phone ringing) And it is that prejudiced society which makes

all the social ethics and behavioural values.

Hey! 100 years!

I was just watching your video.

Rajith, I need your help.

I am in a situation.

What's the matter?

Get down, get down.

Get down from the car. Get down.

What do you think?

- You can ram into anybody and get away with it? - Oh!

- Can't you just get down when called upon? - Brother, I didn't see.

- Isn't that lady of your mother's age? - I didn't notice.

I couldn't take my car out as this car was blocking my way.

- Nothing happened to me. - At least have some humanity and take her to the hospital.

Hey girl,

weren't you the one trying to teach me decency?

What has happened now? (crowd murmuring)

Please come.

Get into the car. I'll take you to the hospital.

Huh, she is trying to teach me civic sense!

Careful, her leg.

She says she is alright, but I'll still take her to the hospital.

One of you'll have to come with me.

If something must be done at the hospital, I can't manage alone.

Huh!

Oh, does it end here?

Sometime ago, weren't you the one who mentioned that she is of my mother's age?

What happened now?

Okay, I'll take care of it.

What's the matter?

The old lady got hit by the car.

Please ask if they need any help.

- Daughter, I'll come along. - No sir, I'll manage.

- Anyway thanks. - No issues, I'll come.

Not a problem sir.

Hmmm.

What's your plan?

You have seen it right? This is how it works here...

…and this is how it is going to be. Hmmm?

Let's drop her at her house.

- Shall we go home, hmmm? - Ha

Slowly.

I'll drive the car.

Give me the key.

I don't think you living here alone is safe.

You tell me, whom all should I be afraid of?

Hmmm!

You don't go anywhere today. Take rest.

I have some work.

-I'll do one thing. -Hmm.

Can I take the car and drop it back in the evening?

-That's okay. -Hmmm. Okay.

Ah, why did you call?

Hmmm!

Daughter is back, right?

Hey, now you come in!

Ha, she is back home after finishing her morning rounds.

Aye, the old lady is not there,

but the other guy is with her.

Just hold on for a minute.

Just hold on.

One minute.

Hey, it's okay if it gets late in the evening, right?

That is not a problem!

Okay.

We all are here as well!

Listen, until now he used to come during the day,

now he is planning to come in the night as well!

Let us not leave it this way.

We must catch him red handed tonight!

Investigation on Chinta assault case is still on.

Her condition is said to be critical even now.

Vanitha Commission president, Mrs. Sonia Giri,

has expressed her concern against continuous attacks on women.

"We cannot consider this a single instance," she added.

We must catch him red handed tonight!

Arvind, why are you getting into unnecessary things?

What good will you get out of this?

Don't you understand what I am saying, huh?

You dig your own grave, let me warn you you dig your own grave.

We should not let such things happen. Let us put an end to it tonight!

Come with me if you want. Let's meet in the evening. Do come.

Alright!

Not on the base line, right?

- No! - Ha. (Laughing)

Okay. Now you see.

Hey listen, I think he has come.

If we go now we can catch him in action.

Who are you talking about?

Remember the one who messed with you in the morning, sir?

- Her secret man! - Not again!

If we go now we can catch him in action. Come with me.

Sir, you also come.

-I'll come, you'll keep going. - Come, then.

Get up man! Let's go.

-Don't waste time. Sir, come soon, okay? -Hmm!

Stop here, stop here!

Wait here, wait, wait!

-Where are you rushing? -Leave me.

(Glass breaking)

Hey, it's not him.

- What? - It's not him!

- It is someone else. - Let me check!

It's not him!

Come back, leave it!

We need to do something, or else she will get killed.

Listen to me, let's leave.

Don't try to showcase your heroism.

Don't get into all this, you will be stuck forever!

Come, let's go!

Listen to me, let's just leave.

Hey, he will kill her.

Come. Listen to me, come.

Be quick, start the bike.

Hey, make it fast.

Get on the bike.

The sad thing is that

she was lying there crying for help, but no one came forward to help her.

She was lying there for about seven hours, unattended.

"We all are here as well!"

Sir, sir!

Any new evidence in the case?

For that you need to check with

the CI, who is the investigating officer.

Can we assume that the suspect is a migrant worker?

Do you suspect any political interference in this case?

I don't know what I am going to do even if I get hold of him.

You have just heard a very important statement from SI Bijoy, who is handling 'The Chinta Case'

The assaulter has been caught

and has admitted to the crime.

Her denial to his proposal has been stated as the motive.

This is a ground-breaking update

that is brought to you exclusively by Focus News.

Now tell me Mr. Venu Oorakam

The assaulter was caught within five days of the assault.

You were accusing the ruling government

of aiding in the escape of the assaulter.

What's the point do you want to raise now?

No, no.

The fact that it took five days to catch hold of the assault

is in itself a failure on the part of the government.

Do you see the difference between the now ruling party and the former ruling party?

Women felt a lot safer under our rule.

Okay, let's come back to Mr. Venu later.

Now Dr. Kurian what is your take on this?

As stated by the assaulter himself,

repeated denial by the victim

was the motive behind the attack.

What we gauge from this incident

is the mentality of owning a woman by force.

Here, we need to try and understand

how a person with such mentality is created.

No one makes an effort to understand this.

We need to train our youngsters how to accept rejection

and equip themselves to move ahead in life.

Sorry to interrupt Dr. Kurian,

now let us hear from Prof. Urmila.

We have to start from our own family.

Right from the time they start to develop their social interaction skills,

we separate our kids into categories of boys and girls.

It is not fair to separate them at such a nascent stage

and expect them to have a healthy character building in their teenage.

Let them grow together.

In such a scenario,

they will understand that they are not just bodies,

but individuals with thoughts, emotions, opinions, preferences and ideas.

Also, they will grow up as more accepting adults.

This is the only way we can

curb the formation and growth of such assaulters.

You know right!

We are three girls at home.

Me being the third girl child,

my father didn't even turn up at the hospital when I was born.

This is not what my mum told.

She never tells me anything!

Even though I had all the comforts needed at home,

I was always in search of my own world.

I studied what I wished to,

perused a career in the field of my choice,

and even married the man I wished to spend my life with.

But, now that has also ended.

It is not because of difference of opinion,

but because I had an opinion.

That was the issue, you know.

-Why is everyone like this? Hmmm.

No, no, I did not include you.

Why don't you come home?

Mum was asking about you.

I will come some other time.

I like your mum a lot.

I have seen how she has brought up you and your sister.

And I can feel the difference in you.

If every mother brought up her son the way your mother brought you up,

many nasty incidents could have been avoided.

We all have the ability to see this vast world, through a tiny frame.

Redbird Vintage Box - March Unboxing - Duration: 12:29.

Chathurangal Short Film with Subtitles| Alfredo & Toto Creations - Duration: 24:47.

14 Things Rich People Do That POOR PEOPLE DON'T! - Duration: 9:01.

14 Things Rich People Do That Poor People DON'T

14.

They don't save; they invest- Here's a statement that is way too true.

I'm sure you've never heard about a millionaire becoming wealthy by investing in a savings

account right?

They invest in companies, and stocks to make more money off the money they already to have

and that's how their wealth continues to grow, and they keep making more, instead of

keeping money in a savings account not doing anything productive with it.

13.

Buy it for life- Most of the world have a false idea about the economy and have this

idea stuck in their heads that buying cheap is always best.

But in reality, it's better to buy a pair of shoes that cost $100 that will last five

years, instead of a pair of shoes that cost $20 but will only last one year and require

you to make five trips to the store to buy new ones.

Buying things for life is a trend for some but a lifestyle for the rich.

Wealthy people will spend more time investing in purchases before they make them, to make

sure they're buying something that will last as long as possible and get the most value

out of it.

For example, this is why a rich man will buy a $1,000 suit even though the price might

shock most of us, in the long term a suit that costs that much will last for decades.

And if you know how to repair your own clothes it could last a lifetime.

So in some cases buying more expenses things at a higher quality can be a smarter move

in the long run.

12.

Wait for good deals- There have been many studies about people who were offered $5 now,

or $10 in two months and almost everyone chose to take the $5 now.

People seem to have something slightly wrong in our brains because it's clear that $10

would be the smartest choice but most people's immediate need for money makes them chose

otherwise.

Rich people don't seem to have this problem.

Wealthy people will wait months or longer to get the best value they can for something

and don't rush into get rich quick schemes.

11.

Be frugal- Frugality isn't just being financially stable, it is environmentally as well!

When someone is really careful, they tend to waste less.

If someone keeps every shopping bag and bow from Christmas, it's not because they're

a hoarder, its because they realize they're eventually going to need those things again

when the time comes, and then they won't need to buy them again.

Being frugal can be really enjoyable, and the amount of money you can save just by being

a little more cautious with each thing you buy can be astronomical.

As the old saying goes, "a penny saved is a penny earned."

10.

Use coupons- Most people wouldn't expect this one, but tons of millionaires have said

they spend more time finding coupons and discounts than they do shopping.

It's a common feature that the rich seem to do or at least one of their partners in

the relationship was really mindful of overspending.

We don't all have to do extreme couponing, but we can definitely do our part to get the

best price for the necessities and things we actually need.

A big difference between the rich and the famous people on reality TV shows is that

the rich use coupons for items they usually need or have to buy for their family.

Extreme couponers chase savings whether they need it or not.

Couponing is an excellent habit of the rich and everyone in between.

9.

Buy second hand- There are some things you don't want to buy second hand, like underwear,

food or bedding.

But when it comes to just about everything else, rich people are the first in line to

get a bargain by buying things second hand and from antique stores.

Surprisingly a lot of rich people don't buy cars brand new because they know cars

lose so much value the first few years of a new car.

If they do buy a brand new car, they tend to hold onto it for at least ten years to

make sure they get the full value out of it.

Rich people also love antiques!

And a lot of the time antiques can be cheaper than normal items or furniture, but more importantly,

they love the value of buying things that aren't brand new.

Every penny that is saved by buying a second-hand sofa versus a brand new couch can be invested

or saved for something else that you need, or that helps secure your finances in the

future.

8.

Budget- All rich people keep a budget even when they don't necessarily need to, and they

stick with it, or they have people to keep track of it and keep them updated about where

their money is going.

Budgeting is so important especially these days as prices on just about everything seems

to keep rising faster than the bankers can print new money.

The most important part of a personal budget is being honest with yourself; you have to

be honest with yourself and make sure you factor in everything you spend.

Rich people will go over their budget for hours, to make sure all diversions in the

budget are accounted for.

There's a connection between how much time you spend on your budget and how rich you

will get!

7.

Invest in tangibles- At one point the rich become dollar rich, they also do something

that most of us don't do; they invest a portion of their money to tangible goods that enrich

their lives in more ways than just money and materialistic things.

They buy art simply because they love the painting, they will purchase fine wine just

because they love to drink it, they'll buy brand new, and they'll buy antiques.

There is a financial benefit to owning those things because they will increase in value

over time.

Rich people are also hard to sell.

When you have one thousand dollars in cash sitting in front of you, it's very easy

to spend it on a whim.

But not so easy when you have the one thousand dollars tied up in a very expensive bottle

of champagne.

The need to sell your stuff to free up the cash gives you the time to make a more reasonable

decision on whether you really want that one thousand dollar item your lusting for at the

store.

6.

Buy affordable property- For the most part, wealthy people pay cash for their homes or

put at least fifteen percent deposit down.

Rich people usually buy properties no more than two and a half times their annual tax

income.

Rich people also tend to buy older houses, and it's rare that a rich person will buy

a brand new house or have a house built.

This probably has to do with the psychology that the rich have about how value is placed

on quality and not wanting to have the initial depreciation of something new.

It's usually not the truly rich who buy mega-mansions to show off.

Those properties are usually for the people who have a massive mortgage, massive financial

problems, or a massive ego.

And of course, those few who win the lottery, poor them because most lottery winners will

waste it all and end up back where they were before but way more miserable because of the

loss.

When lottery winners win that much money all at once, usually they are people who come

from nothing and go crazy with spending and buying because they've never had that before

and have no one to advise them or to invest, so instead they blow it all within the first

few years and end up back to their old life, such a shame.

5.

The rich associate with successful, positive people- Rich people are aware that attitude

is everything if they continually hang around people that complain about everything from

the weather to the government and always speak negatively, then they'll most likely start

doing the same thing.

But if the same people start hanging around people who talk about success, opportunity,

and positive things in life, chances are they will start to see the world from a different

perspective and gain victory and positive thoughts themselves.

Instead of the world being a horrible place, it suddenly becomes a land of success and

opportunity.

A good example of this is how immigrants view the United States as a place of opportunity,

while most people that are citizens of the U.S have so many complaints about it.

Quite frankly, it is what you make of it.

4.

The rich think both- Long ago economists came up with the term "opportunity cost" and

this simply means that if you chose one thing, then you are giving up something else.

For example, if I have $5 and I buy a $5 ice cream, then I'm ultimately giving up the

pack of gum that I wanted as well.

This is how the poor think too, they have a set amount of money and they think they

can either spend it on one thing or another and not have both.

It sounds logical but rich people focus on how they can get both and don't settle on

just having one thing over another.

Let's say you give a rich person $5, they want the ice cream and the gum, instead of

thinking either or, they decide to get both.

The rich mindset wouldn't buy the ice cream or the gum initially, but they might buy a

24 pack of water for $5 instead.

They walk down the road, sell each water bottle to people passing by for 50 cents each and

earn $12 total when finished.

Now they can afford the ice cream and the gum and have money left over to spare!

The rich have both mentality, not either or.

3.

Net worth- Poor people will often talk about money regarding hourly pay or monthly income.

Wealthy people know that an hourly income is not nearly as important as someone's

net worth.

Someone can earn a lot of money per hour or per month, but if they don't learn to keep

any of it, they'll still be broke in the end.

A rich person knows that a large net worth will bring lots of opportunities and will

create more wealth in their future.

2.

Constantly learn and grow- Many kids today think that they'll be able to work just

hard enough to earn their degrees and they won't have to pick up another book or take

another test for the rest of their lives.

Some might turn this dream into a reality, but they'll most likely be poor forever.

The rich crave knowledge because they know that the more they learn, the more likely

they are to succeed at the things they want.

The average millionaire reads one book a month because they want to make themselves into

the person they ultimately want to be.

The average broke person will never read and never change anything.

The rich constantly learn and grow, and poor people think they already know.

1.

Don't look rich- This one is the most significant aspect of the lives of the truly wealthy,

is that people can't tell their rich just by looking at them.

They can be the regular person living next door, driving an old car, and working just

as many hours as you do.

On the other hand, the person up the street with the fancy luxury life that everyone wants

is probably cash poor and not very happy.

It's been said by many rich people, that they have every materialistic thing they could

ever want and still aren't truly happy.

Focus on the best parts of your life, the things and passion that truly make you happy

because at the end of the path that your passion takes you, is the true pot of gold, your happiness.

Improve your swimming technique doing vertical kick - Duration: 1:53.

vertical kick is one of the best ways to get better at kicking in freestyle, backstroke

and butterfly.

On this video we will tell you why.

By kicking vertically you force yourself to kick fast and effectively because if you don't

you sink and you can't breathe.

You will need to kick narrow and fast.

You will feel how your knees need to be a little bent while going this way and straight

while going back.

Feel how your ankles point down.

The power of your kick originates from your core and goes all to your quads, hamstrings

all the way to your calves.

Try rotating 90 degrees using only your kick.

There are different levels of difficulty.

For example having your hands by the side of your head is easier than having them on

a streamline.

Also it is more difficult to do butterfly kick, but it is a very good way to work your

core.

Try it out for 10 seconds with you hands like these on the sides of your head and once you

get better at it try going for longer and then with a streamline.

A very good workout is to do 10 times 30 seconds of this.

alternating between flutter kick and dolphin kick.

Once you practice this try doing some underwater kicks of full stroke backstroke or whatever

stroke and see the difference.

We are excited to bring you more tutorials, new swim cap designs and new things in the

upcoming months, so make sure to subscribe to our email list newsletter and follow us

The Untold Truth Of Adventure Time - Duration: 8:24.

Pendleton Ward's Cartoon Network classic Adventure Time spanned eight years, ten seasons, countless

comics, tons of merchandise, and a whole lot of truly dedicated fans.

It's easy to see why fans would instantly fall in love with these quirky characters

and the strange world of Ooo.

"After his butt!"

"I'm your dingy dog!"

So whether you're a lifelong fan of Finn and Jake, or if you're just curious what the buzz

is all about, here's everything you probably didn't know about Adventure Time.

Pitch perfect

It's impossible to discuss Adventure Time without discussing its music.

At any given point, characters are likely to burst into song.

"Making pancakes.

Making, making pancakes.

Take some bacon and put it in a pancake.

Making pancakes, that's what it's gonna make…"

However, the most famous Adventure Time song is undoubtedly the one that opens every single

episode.

"With Jake the Dog and Finn the Human.

The fun will never end, Adventure Time!"

It's the perfect encapsulation of the series… which is fitting because this song is how

the series truly began.

When series creator Pendleton Ward went to pitch the first Adventure Time short, he brought

along his guitar so that he could sing the opening theme song for the executives.

They liked the song well enough to order the short, and the short's popularity snowballed

into the series that we know and love.

For the series, Ward rerecorded the song using a ukulele instead of a guitar.

It was meant to be a temporary recording to quickly submit to Cartoon Network, but Ward

liked it so much that it ended up staying, despite later attempts at rerecording it.

Accidental apocalypse

Over the course of many seasons, viewers could piece together some of the events surrounding

a Mushroom War that destroyed most of the humans, created mutations, and took a giant

chunk out of the Earth.

Considering all of this detail, it would certainly seem like the creators had a plan all along.

But this post-apocalyptic setting came about completely by accident.

In the first season, the characters encounter some 21st-century businessmen that have been

frozen in an iceberg.

"It's a bunch of guys."

"You know what they remind me of?

Well-dressed pickles."

It was just a gag, but it also suggested that the world of Finn and Jake had once been very

much like our own before it was changed.

The writers decided to run with the apocalyptic idea, crafting nuanced stories about how that

time period was formative for both Marceline and the Ice King.

And it all happened because the writers thought frozen businessmen would be funny.

"What kind of business do you do?"

"Been frozen so long I…"

"Can't remember…"

Eating disorder

The Ice King's most familiar appearance in the show is as an overweight wizard.

Other times, though, you can practically count the ribs under his robes.

(whistles)

"You're looking kind of fat, Gunter.

Look at these arms!

Fat, fat, fat.

Daddy's little fatty!"

There are other scenes where he is super-thin like this and still feels the need to work

out, showing an obsessive worry about his weight.

"I'm so tired of looking at this face."

Overall, Ice King's story is one tragedy after another: he loses his fiancee to the madness

of the crown and later has to abandon a young Marceline for the same reason.

Now, trapped in his mind, he's unable to find romantic love, and that inability drives him

to either overeat or completely starve himself.

We told you it was tragic.

"Gol'dern you, tear ducts."

Lumpy identity

In addition to creating the show, Pendleton Ward serves as the voice for Lumpy Space Princess.

This unconventional character is a constant outsider, having been kicked out of her parents'

house in their dimension and later shunned by other princesses on Ooo.

From time to time, the character lives homeless in the woods and stoops to terrorizing villagers

for food when necessary.

"Monster!!!"

All of which makes it interesting that Ward - who's been described as quiet and shy - admitted

that he identifies closely with this character that's constantly ostracized, lonely, and

misunderstood.

"And that's how I saved the village."

"Well, we're just glad you're home."

"Whatever!"

Banana voices

The Banana Guards are Princess Bubblegum's potassium-rich, brain-poor protectors of the

Candy Kingdom.

You think she'd hire some workers who were actually competent, but you take what you

can get in the Land of Ooo.

They definitely have some unique voices, and the story behind it is pretty strange.

John DiMaggio — who also voices Jake — explained that his take on the Banana Guard is his impression

of Pendleton Ward doing the Lumpy Space Princess voice.

"Uh, princess, should we listen to him?"

The Bill Murray connection

Adventure Time is steeped in pop culture, which isn't surprising considering one of

the characters is a walking, talking Gameboy.

One of the main characters, though, has a rather unexpected influence.

According to Pendleton Ward, the character of Jake the Dog was inspired by Bill Murray's

character Tripper in his late-'70s comedy Meatballs.

In that movie, Murray plays a summer camp counselor who is a mentor to young visitors.

Even as Murray provides advice, he also keeps things real...and a little crazy.

"It just doesn't matter if we win or we lose!

It just doesn't matter!"

These elements are all in play with Jake the Dog, who plays an older, mentor role with

Finn the Human but is still goofy and refuses to take anything that seriously.

"Heh, heh, heh.

Cute."

Niki Yang

Adventure Time has employed some of the animation world's best voice actors.

But one of the show's true standouts only had one acting credit to her name when she

joined the cast.

Niki Yang brings humor and depth to the roles of Lady Rainicorn and BMO.

"BMO!"

"BMO chop!"

Yang didn't have a lot of voice acting experience because her main job on Adventure Time is

storyboard artist.

Lady Rainicorn's dialogue is actually written in English, and Yang personally translates

it before her recording sessions.

"I suppose that's true."

Of course, we also have to give an honorable mention to Tree Trunks, aka Polly Lou Livingston.

"What are you doing here, Tree Trunks?"

"I'm helping you by tempting this guy with my body."

Having never worked on TV before, she got the job voicing the sassy elephant lady simply

because she was a friend of Pen Ward's mom, and the choice couldn't have possibly been

better.

"Mr. Pig's been so kind, helping me - tend to my rose garden."

Self-demoted

Adventure Time went from quirky cult animated series to pop-culture juggernaut in just a

few years.

While that kind of success is most people's dream, Pendleton Ward found out that running

a hit show of his own creation wasn't everything it was cracked up to be.

He told Rolling Stone in 2014:

"Dealing with people every day wears on you.

To spend that extra energy and time you don't have, to make something that's worth making,

to make it awesome, wears you out."

During the production of the show's fifth season, he had enough.

He demoted himself and went back to doing what he loved most about the show, which was

drawing storyboards and writing episodes.

The secret snail

Animators and other creators are pretty notorious for sticking weird Easter eggs in their shows

for obsessive fans to find.

Pendleton Ward and his team did this, albeit on a very small scale: every episode of Adventure

Time has a snail hidden in it, and that snail often waves to viewers.

At times, the snail has taken a prominent role in the show, like when it became an unwitting

vessel for the mind of The Lich.

The snail Easter egg has also continued into some of the show's merchandise, such as the

official Adventure Time Munchkin spinoff.

In that game, the snail is hidden on several cards, whereas other cards prompt players

to immediately level up if they can find a snail hidden on the table in ten seconds or

less.

Sounds easy enough!

"Now let me explain the rules."

"That's basically the basics."

Why Not to Buy Oil Filter Magnets for Your Car - Myth Busted - Duration: 3:00.

rev up your engines!

today I'm going to dispel the myth of magnetic oil filters, it's come to my

attention recently from some of my fans said, hey Scottie you can buy these

magnets that you stick on your oil filter and it'll keep all the metal

pieces in from ruining your engine, what do you think of that, well to really

understand it, I'll give you a little history lesson, originally cars didn't

even have oil filters, but in 1923 a company's that was later called

Purolator for pure oil later, evented the first modern oil filter you could

put on cars, a few of the high-end cars, they put these filters on them and in

the 1930s, some motorcycles and cars tried out a magnetic based oil

filtration system, but that didn't last very long it went by the wayside, now when I

was a young mechanic in the 1960s, a lot of the cars did not even come with oil

filters, it was an option you could add on, but a lot of the cars they

didn't have one, we had a Ford that we just changed the oil every couple of

thousand miles in it, because it didn't have a filter, but as we go to present time

I notice there's a lot of places that are selling these and on magnets, you

can stick on your oil filter, well what should you think of that, they come in

various shapes and sizes, this one has a plastic band of magnets that fits on the

outside of the filter, this one fits on the outside on the top of the filter and

just comes on and off when you change the filter, but they all are the same

theory, the magnet is supposed to hold the metal pieces inside, so it doesn't do any

damage to your engine, but really that's what the filter does in the first place

look at this, this is a premium filter, 99% efficiency at filtering stuff out

right here, it filters down to small microns, if you have anything in there

it's going to filter it out in the first place, and if you think about it, a magnet

holding in metal pieces is the least of your worries, if you actually have

metal pieces inside your engine, you got a problem inside the engine where the

metal is breaking down, and no magnet is going to fix that

that's like closing the barn door after the horses have already run away, realize

that the important thing is to change your engine oil and filter regularly

not adding some kind of snake oil magnet to your oil filter to save you

and I know a little bit about snake oil, this is Kilmer's swamp root, kidney liver

and bladder remedy snake oil, one of my distant relatives used to sell that in New

York State in the eighteen hundreds, so don't be fooled by buying magnets

and sticking them on your oil filter or your fuel line either, they don't do

anything their, fuel is not magnetic it doesn't affect anything of your fuel

either, so if you never want to miss another one of my new car repair videos,

remember to ring that Bell!

LEGO train yard & locomotive maintenance shop improvements - Duration: 6:59.

everybody just have some small updates on stuff that's been done to add some

detail down in this corner of the layout around the the train yard the freight

train yard and mostly I've just added in a little bit of detail for the the

terrain around there so it's just you know looking a little bit more alive

it's not like final stuff or anything most of its just kind of thrown in there

pretty quickly but that's not where most of the work was done it does help the

place to look a little bit more alive now but I also brought in some more

figures and they're kind of walking around doing stuff looks like they might

be taking on some tasks oh yeah I added that the concrete slab beneath the whole

thing here at least most of it and also a little bit of a suggestion that the

the maintenance pits are under the track it goes black in between the between the

sleepers as you go inside there but you all see a little bit of detail inside as

you look in the doors so I've got some cabinets over there and some drawers and

over on this side see if I can see down in there it's a little bit of a stretch

for my arms right now but you can see that there are some tools and some spare

parts on the wall back there and added some lights around the outside as well

it's just you know helps with the little details I didn't do anything to the roof

yet again tuned some of the pieces push them together more properly but the the

whole building has been picked up and moved and taken to the the building area

the mock building area and brought back here quite a number of times but this is

this is looking I think good enough for now for me to be happy with it and to to

move back to doing other things again you know it's just kind of just a

project that I took on because I got the inspiration to do it let me go ahead and

take off these these roof segments remember if you wanted to see what it

looks like inside and there's actually a little bit more to see now it's a little

bit more worthwhile to actually look inside there now oops

exit way to hit my maersk engine that's okay so just a suggestion of a gantry

crane in there it doesn't actually work I mean it has a win

but you know the trolley portion of it doesn't go side to side and the whole

thing doesn't actually roll yeah I doesn't have a track Yannick I could

make it roll I can make it work and everything but it's just a matter of how

much work would be put in to doing details like that making things work

versus how much any of us would actually get out of it and after this video once

I put the roof panels back on I'm basically never gonna open this up again

so there's really no point in spending hours and hours if not days putting a

tremendous amount of fine detail in the interior of this this utility shed if

it's never gonna be appreciate if it's never gonna be seen I can come back

later you know once I've done a whole lot of

work in my city and I have a lot of structures complete and in place and

then I can do more you know I can add in I can fill in the details that are

missing but for right now it's just it's just not wise it's not a good use of my

time so there we go get your ID to this corner as well while

the roof is off so you can see some light in there you know it looks it

looks okay and you know we are really focusing on this but most of the time

we're gonna be seeing it from some kind of distance and it just does what it's

supposed to do now let me go ahead and put those roof panels back on and take

you around the other side if only I had caught that on camera actually

accidentally caught this tank car on my microphone wire knocked this completely

off the table caught it with my foot guided it down to the ground and saved

it from total destruction only this little brake wheel popped off and a

couple things needs to be straightened but other than that it's intact yay good

I don't want that to be destroyed because I really like that tank car okay

got the the roof panels back on when they bring you around to the other side

there that's what I wanted to do in the first place that's all I wanted to do no

drama yeah just a little bit more foliage around the side as well

and yes this is looking pretty proper now there's enough light getting in

there you can see the ban jhin's inside from a given side you can see a little

bit of a hint of the gantry crane up there and if you get down a little bit

lower you see a little bit better so yes this this is a success right here oh

yeah I did the corners as well took the took the clear I guess their windscreen

pieces out of those corners and just put some sand green going up in there so

this is all set for the time being this whole corner looks so much better I

still need to put in some signals I'll do that over time

but yeah I'm most likely gonna get back to work down there and actually you know

what yeah think about it I don't know what I'm gonna work on next well have to

see tomorrow oh you want see something cool steam train coming through the

tunnel got to catch it going in the tunnel on the other side as well

but that's a cool look I think it's the first time that I've run my little

American 4 4 0 steamer around this layouts in its present form the present

form of the layout so I'm gonna get let me get situated over there watch that go

in the tunnel of course it's a cheap now because you can just see where it's cut

out but I think there's just something something a little bit special about you

know and holder train going into a tunnel or coming out of a tunnel so

speaking of that let me get it one more time coming out

realistically I need to get a little bit more of the inner liner in that tunnel

before it'll look right you really get the darkness but as it just comes

through there comes on out heads on its merry way there you go yeah so that's

all I have for today's update I will figure out what to work on next and then

I will work on it and then once it's worked on I'll show you how it looks

bye for now

Les Brown: Why You NEED to Pursue Your Dreams ( Les Brown Inspiration ) - Duration: 10:29.

Dr. Howard Furman one of the mentors of dr. Martin Luther King jr. and Albert

Schweitzer and Mahatma Gandhi it's a very brilliant writer he wrote some

things that really grabbed me he he wrote deep is to hunger the voice of the

genuine the centering moment during the time after receiving 238 radiation seed

implants I was reflecting on his words and and these words kept me up that

night he said the ideal situation for a man a woman to die is to have family

members praying with them as they cross over he said but imagine if you will be

on your deathbed and standing around your bed the ghosts of the dreams the

ideas the abilities the talents given to you by life and that you for whatever

reason you never went after that dream you never acted on those ideas you never

use those talents you never to use those gifts and there they are standing around

your bed looking at you with large angry eyes saying we came to you and only you

could have given us life and now we must die with you forever

and the question is if you die today what dreams what ideas what talents what

books what music what leadership what voice will die with you

mouths Monroe break or Aten speaker said the wealthiest place in the planet it's

not in a 40s where there's oil in the ground it's not in South Africa where

the diamond lies is that the wealthiest place on the planet is the cemetery but

you there you'll find greatness if we've never seen there you find talent in

genius and potential never actualize perhaps that's why Henry David Thoreau

wrote the words Oh God to reach the point of death only to realize that

you've never lived maybe that's why some unknown writer wrote the words what if

you live your whole life only to discover that it was wrong that it was

wrong that you were chosen to do something else and you didn't do it

repeat as we please live full die empty I want you to take some Milton's and

things and I want you to think about your goals and dreams in the three

categories that I mentioned personal professional and your social

contribution how many of you serious about your goals and dreams raise your

hands please thank you very much how many of you don't want to take your

dreams to your grave with you raise your hands please

very good shake someone's hand on your right and left look them in the eyes and

say get out of your head and step into your greatness do that right now please

say get out of your head and step into your greatness I want you to write this

down let us say together as you think about your goals and dreams let us say

together it's possible together please yes write that down see ladies and

gentlemen as an entrepreneur I've been an entrepreneur for 20 years it's my

21st year I could have been speaking and training for 34 years

but for 14 years I was living in my head for 14 years I stopped myself for 14

years I used to go see Zig Ziglar that I considered a number-one motivational

speaker on the planet Zig Sigmund Tony Robbins they're the best on the planet

Bob Proctor they are the best of the planet Jack Canfield Mark Victor Hansen

TR Beckett I would go and see them and then I would leave in my conversation

with myself was my heart would say I can do that and then my mind would ask how

how would you do that Les Brown see when I was in the fifth grade I was

identified as EMR labeled educable mentally retarded put back from the

fifth grade to the fourth grade I failed again when I was in the eighth grade

I have no college training and a man changed my life and I'll never forget

it's named mr. Leroy Washington he's in his 80s now and and he's blind from

glaucoma but he he gave me a different vision of myself I was in his class

waiting on another student he came in and said young man got aboard who worked

his problem up for me I said oh sir I can't do that said why not I said I'm

I'm not one of you students said look at me yes sir go to the board and work the

problem on anyhow I said sir I can't do that he said why has it sir because I'm

a gigolo mental retarded sir I'm in special education and the students

started laughing they said that's Leslie that's not Wesley he's DT Wesley is too

smart when he said what does DT stand for I said um I'm the dumb twin sir and

as the students laughed at me he came from behind his desk he looked at Ben he

said don't you ever say that again someone's opinion of you does not have

to become your reality

on one hand I was humiliated but on the other hand I was liberated because he

looked at me with the eyes of Goethe who said look at a man the way that he is he

only becomes worse but look at him as if he were what he could be then it becomes

what he should be and so we developed a relationship and one of the things that

I can just tell you as you think about your goals and dreams all of us can say

in a spirit of integrity that it's possible that if anybody at any point in

time live their dream then it's possible that I could live mine and what I did

was I made a mistake I looked at my goals and dreams and my mind said how

will you do that I went from my heart to my mind and I stayed up there for 14

years 14 years I can't bring those 14 years back those years are gone and I've

made a mission in my life to help people to stop putting it off and

procrastinating how many ever thought about something you wanted to do and you

procrastinate you talked yourself out of it raise your hand please there's a

proverb that says if there's no enemy within the enemy outside can do us no

harm and so as you look at your goals and dreams every day we must convince

ourselves we must sell ourselves on that it's possible every seminar every

workshop every book that I've ever read every speaker that I've ever heard it

interrupted what I was believing about myself everything that you do everything

matters as you go through each day I know now as I look back at age 63

looking at my life everything matters t harv is right how you do anything is

how you do everything and I realize that the choices I was making was based upon

how I saw myself let us say together it's necessary

write that down it's necessary as you look at your goals your dreams it's

necessary that you have a strategy and a game plan to change the story that you

leave about yourself and that's an ongoing process I discovered and many

people have that what we do what we accomplish what we produce is a result

of the story we believe about ourselves my favorite book says begin our

conformed to this will be transformed by the renewing of your mind and so as I

began to work on myself I realize that I'm getting out of one story and

stepping into another story as I become aware of some things there's still some

things I'm not aware of so I still I'm still growing I'm still developing I'm

like the ladies that Lord a what a wannabe what I'm going to be but thank

God I sho ate what I was but I realized that that you have to work on yourself

on a regular basis and write this out for mental mindset for mental mindset

and stamina because things are going to happen to you I don't believe I believe

that the reason that most people go to their graves where their talents and

abilities and skills in in them is because of the fact that were one minute

like me they didn't know that they did known and thought they knew I thought I

knew myself and I really didn't know myself as well as I thought I've

discovered that sometimes people can take you to a place within yourself that

you can't go by yourself the other reason is I was afraid and never worked

for a major corporation I want to speak for corporations I was afraid I would I

would be exposed because I don't have a college education

I felt inferior because of the fact that I don't have a college education I

allowed at that level of fear of failure to stop me and because I never had an

experience in it I assumed that I could not do it

I was paralyzing myself by believing and assuming the limited part of myself as

opposed to believing that I had something special you have something

special there's something you want to do because you don't know how to do it

doesn't mean that you can't learn I like something that I heard you don't have to

be great to get started but you have to get started to be great repeat off me

please leap and grow your wings on the way down

see the people that will live their dreams the 2% that will do that these

are and write this down become a risk taker

they're risk takers they don't mind failing they don't mind making mistakes

they're willing to take life on take life in the collar VIN Scott said if

you're not willing to risk you cannot grow and if you cannot grow you cannot

become your best and if you cannot become your best you can't be happy and

if you can't be happy then what else is there I like what Helen Keller said she

said life is short and unpredictable eat the dessert first

Deck Hook: A Boosted Board Rider's Perspective - Duration: 2:59.

Electric skateboards are awesome because they're portable.

Unfortunately, because of the battery, they're quite hefty.

This is a Boosted Board, it weighs about 15 lbs.

Once it's out of charge, it won't be pleasant hauling this thing around with you all day.

A company called "Deck Hook" claims to have a solution for this but I don't personally

think that it's a good solution.

Not for Boosted Boards, anyway.

Here is a Deck Hook review from a Boosted Board rider's perspective.

First of all, I have to disclose that I can only really test the Deck Hook with the Boosted Board.

I also have a Penny board but it doesn't really fit.

Additionally, this is the only 2 strap backpack that I have.

"Swiss Gear" is quite a common brand and it's really popular - where I live, anyway.

So, I think it's a pretty good bag to test this product with.

Installing the Deck Hook is really quite simple.

There are these magnetic snaps that kind of just snap into place.

And you wrap these around the straps of your bag.

Taking the Deck Hook off your bag is just as simple.

You just push these downwards and they fall right out of place.

Now, let's talk about actual use.

At first, the Deck Hook is a seemingly well-built product and - I'm sure it actually is.

But I have barely even tested this product; I haven't even left the house with it and

it already snapped apart.

It can't handle the weight of a Boosted Board.

This is outright false advertising; on the website, there's a picture of the Deck Hook

being used with a Boosted Board.

However, when it did work for the brief period of time that it did, the Boosted Board ended

up being turned into a pendulum.

A heavy pendulum.

The board would swing and clash with the back of your legs or on your butt, depending on your height.

It also crushes the contents of your bag.

Not very ideal.

The wall mount is clever and seems pretty well built.

You just kind of slide it on and it stays there, but there's a little bit of wiggle room here.

Actually, you can rotate the entire thing.

I didn't actually end up testing this or installing it in my house because I already have a mount

of my own; it's just a cheap guitar hook.

Which, in my opinion, secures my board even better than the Deck Hook could.

The price for this product comes down to $25 USD.

However, I was a Super Early Bird Backer and they charged me $25 for shipping here to Canada.

That's a 2x increase in the price.

The later backers didn't have to pay as much.

So, here's the verdict.

If you ride an electric skateboard that's fairly heavy, don't buy this product.

I think it might work quite well, actually, with a regular skateboard and a regular longboard.

But it's not built for electric skateboards.

The design itself just fundamentally doesn't work with the dimensions of something like

a Boosted Board.

To all you Boosted Board riders out there, I would pass on this product.

Get the official Boosted Board backpack instead.

That's it for this video, thank you for watching and I will see you in the next one!

Eachine E010c Motor Upgrade For FPV Mod With 40g of Thrust - Duration: 4:31.

hello guys welcome to a new episode of how to DIY Rc eachine E10c

version motor and frame-upgrade to get it flying proper FPV instead of the ten

seconds as you could have seen in the review the standard stock it's not

really performing the way we like it it really needs the motor upgrade and frame

to really improve the performance from this little quadcopter and this motors

are from the furibee f36 and giving us 40 grams of trust and that

is pretty amazing because the norm of stock drone without FPV camera with only

twenty grams so there's a two-to-one power-to-weight ratio making it flying

super fast then the frame is from the e010s version I put all the links down

below the nice thing about this frame is is almost the same weight but it's more

aerodynamic for the flow of the motors and it's shines through I don't know if

it really shows up on camera but if the lights turn on of the drone it really

lights up the whole quad and makes it fly like a UFO it's really really really

really really nice I'm liking it but let's get back to the upgrade that we

are going to fix and it's gonna be pretty simple I'm just going to have to

remove the canopy and battery what I meant to say is that flight board and

just undersolder the motors and put this flight board and then add the camera

later straight into this frame and then we have to make sure if you put the

props on the correct way this motor should turn clockwise this motor should

turn counterclockwise this motor shut turn clockwise and this one said this

was to turn clockwise and this one should turn counterclockwise if you have

that correct and if it doesn't correct than change out the two wires on

the circuit board to make it correct and let's go and unsolder them

there is in one good way it fits the better connector in the big hole is the

rear

we've solder all the wire's to the correct color scheme it looked like we put the

black wire to the negative and they red wires to the positive and let's hope we

did it correct everything is backwards it's pushing down to the ground instead

of going up! okay let's do it again this time it changed everything around

and just put red wire to the minus and black wire to the positive and let's

test again to perfect that's what we wanted

and needed now we're gonna hook up the FPV

and fly outside and test but before the test fight I always want to check the

weight and it is battery camera and the canopy and it's 25.7 wow that's heavy

but I know got 40 gram of thrust so I should really fly really good let's go outside

and have a go and I'm finally the test flight of checking if you can carry the

weight of the fpv and the canopy and if this is really a proper great yes or

no

well it's flying a lot longer than 10 seconds already and I got full control

and stay of the ground it's pretty good

Oh pretty good pretty nice

only the stock transmitter don't have that much angle not even on high rates I

want to have more angle because I'm used to having the multiprotocol oak TX module but

that was the landing and still can fly a lot longer the bedding is still okay I

just gonna cut the video over here I'm gonna say this is the proper upgrade

that you really need for the Eachine E010C version together very flying proper

fpv and this the links will find it down below i hope you give this video a like

and subscribe and for the next video where we go maybe through the upgrade

for a range I would say goodbye until next time

Affirming Meditation - Embrace Change - Duration: 3:21.

I'm dr. Tracey Marks a psychiatrist and I produce weekly videos on mental health

education and self-improvement. In an earlier video, I talked about why you

need to affirm yourself and how to identify your negative self-talk in this

video, I'm gonna give you a script of affirming self-talk that you can use to

flush out the negative script in your head. You can listen to my voice by

getting into a quiet place and closing your eyes and just listening, or since

this is a video you can also listen and watch me speak. Pretend that you're the

one speaking these words to yourself. At the end of the affirmation I'll have

some questions for self-reflection. You can use these as a starting place for

meditation and reflecting. This is my first time doing these this type of

affirmations in video form and if you like this and think I should keep going

leave me a comment to that effect. I hope it helps.

Change is my friend. It's a gentle reminder that there are greater things

in store for me. I'm comfortable with change. Although I enjoy stability.

I appreciate the excitement that comes from venturing out and trying something

new. I'm easily bored when I'm stuck in the rut of the familiar. Change keeps me

fresh. my life benefits from change because I can grow and stretch. Change

opens my eyes and expands my vision to see things I didn't see before. Change

keeps me on my toes waiting in excited anticipation for what's gonna happen

next. I choose not to close my eyes because I'll miss something. My eyes are

open to the wonderful things when I look for change. Change acts as a driving

force and helps keep me moving ahead. Trying new experiences and strategies

helps me move faster because I'm more motivated. I'm able to tackle greater

challenges than I otherwise never would attempt were it not for change. Change is

an indicator that I'm on my way to reaching my goals. My impact on the world

is greater when I embrace change. I find I have a higher purpose and calling that

involves getting out of my comfort zone and stepping up to the plate. The course

of my life changes as my abilities increase and and I attempt new

challenges that meet my new abilities. Questions for self-reflection. Do you

embrace change? Are there things in your life that are begging for change? How has

changed helped you grow in the past five years? This is your affirmation for

change

Day in the Life of an Athletic Trainer - Episode 3 - US Lacrosse - Duration: 2:03.

Hi! No, you're good. This is Chandler. Nice to meet you. Hi! Nice to meet you. Kat.

And then our EMS crew. Scott. Hi! Will. Hi, nice to see you.

so obviously your team, your team. Whatever you need

to do on the field, you guys have full reign. We're just here to help you if you need

it. If you're out on the field long enough, I'll probably wander out and see if you

need anything. If you need the AED, just cross your hands over your heart so we know to

bring it out. Anything else, just wave your hand up and we'll come running. Ok?

What isn't happening today at MedStar Health at Hunt Valley? So we have three events on the

field. We have the University of New England

that's practicing here this morning. This afternoon we have the Syracuse - Harvard

women's game. And then tonight we have a high school game, Glenelg Country versus

St. Mary's High School playing tonight. And then I'm also jumping into clinic

today with Dr. Kari Kindschi, and helping her out a little bit. My name is Kellie

Loehr. I'm a community liaison with MedStar Sports Medicine and the head

athletic trainer at US Lacrosse. This is a partnership that's been about 20 years

in the making, so I think it was an easy decision for MedStar and US Lacrosse to

officially partner together this past year. We do everything together from, you

know, obviously being in this building with US Lacrosse. I help to coordinate

the medical coverage on-site. Our research staff do a lot together and

then obviously our partnership group, so seeing how MedStar can grow in the

community of lacrosse and seeing what we can do to give back to the community,

since we are here at the national headquarters. The lacrosse community is

huge in Baltimore. There's so many people that play the sport. But it really

is a -- like a small-town feel, a smaller community. So it's cool to be able to see

the same families and the same people coming back for clinics that we

have here on the field, or just coming to watch a game. It's really -- it's really

fun to see those people over and over again.

TRUST NO ONE: Five Tips to Stay Safe Online - Duration: 6:49.

Welcome to Dr. David Eifrig's Health & Wealth Bulletin.

This is Weekly Update!

This week, we're doing an audio only shoot as Winter Storm Toby has shut down our office

and kept most of us off the roads.

But that won't keep us from covering an important story.

Today we're talking about online privacy, specifically on social media.

According to Pew Research, two thirds of Americans use social media, which includes popular websites

like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

In fact, one of the demographics boasting the most growth online is the 65 and older

group.

And that's especially true for Facebook.

Facebook in particular has come under some scrutiny lately due to a revelation that during

the 2016 campaign, a data mining firm called Cambridge Analytica stole data from about

50 million Facebook users… and then they refused to delete the data.

The problem is that they accessed data from folks who agreed to give it up… but then

they took it one step further and stole information from all of the friends of those people.

The point is, nothing is safe online, including your privacy.

So we wanted to touch on a few ways to make sure you're monitoring your online presence

and keeping yourself safe.

Now, our first tip is to make sure that you use safe and unhackable passwords.

For all of your accounts, you want to make sure that your passwords are different.

Don't use the same one for every single account you have online.

Another good rule of thumb is to change them, sometimes as much as every six months.

A good way to remember this is whenever we have daylight savings – change your clocks

and change your passwords.

Now, if you have trouble remembering your passwords, we do recommend a password manager

like LastPass and we'll put a link to that in the description below.

Another option you can take advantage of is something called two-factor authentication.

This requires you to put in a password along with another piece of information.

Often they'll send you a code to your email or to your mobile device that you then have

to type in.

This is really crucial, especially for important websites like your bank account or your credit

card information.

You want to make sure it's extra secure, so if that is an option offered, you want

to go ahead and take advantage of it.

Our second tip is to be very careful about who you follow and what you let them see.

Now this is a general rule on any kind of social media platform.

Anytime you go to post something, make sure it's something you really want people to

see and it doesn't give away any identifying information.

For example, you never want to share your home address on any social media platform.

That's because even if you restrict your profile to just your friends, you never know

if those friends will be logged in somewhere where someone else can see that information.

You also want to keep an eye on who you follow because there are false accounts out there.

In fact, if you get a friend request from someone who you know is not on Facebook, you

might want to call them and make sure that they did initiate that request.

And if not, you'll have to report it to Facebook so that they know there is someone

trying to steal their identity.

This can lead to all kinds of problems, especially when they send suspicious links or anything

else that can endanger you and your online privacy.

So the key here is that if you see something suspicious, report it and always, always be

careful not to overshare on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any of the social media platforms.

Now our third tip involves tagging and location services.

Whenever you post something from your cell phone, the smartphone GPS will go ahead and

tag your location.

Now this poses quite a problem for online privacy, but there are ways you can turn that

location tagging off.

It can get a little complicated, but you'll need to go to your settings folder on your

phone and try to find location services.

We're actually going to go ahead and post a link to a how-to guide that should walk

you through it for both an Android or an iPhone.

The other thing to keep in mind here is that you also can be tagged on Facebook not only

from yourself but also from your friends if they want to tag you in an event or if you're

with them at dinner.

Maybe you don't want people to see that.

There is an option on Facebook to go into your privacy settings and make sure that other

people are not allowed to tag you.

This gives you a lot of control over what you let people see and what you let them know

about where you are and what you're doing.

Now our fourth tip goes along with one of our earlier tips about oversharing.

The tip is very simple: and that's to post everything after the fact.

Now, the reason for this, as we've written about before, is that burglars can actually

target you based on your vacation photos.

In fact it might surprise you to know about 75% of burglars use social media in order

to find potential targets.

The reason for this is pretty simple.

If your profile says that you live in Baltimore, for instance, but you're posting vacation

photos in real time from Cancun, that means there's no one in your home and burglars

can go ahead and help themselves.

That's why it's always a good rule of thumb to post all those vacation photos after

you get home.

And that way you can still share with your friends and family from the safety of your

own house.

Along with this, similarly, don't post any identifying information.

Your profile might say you live in Baltimore, but again make sure you don't have your

home address or even your street name listed.

Anything that makes it easy to find where you live is a good thing to leave off of social

media networks.

And finally, our last tip is one that's very simple to follow.

If you see anything suspicious, don't click on it.

Now that includes emails you might get from a friend that has nothing in it except a link

to click on.

That's a sure sign that you're getting scammed, so don't click on it.

Delete it and report it to your friend right away.

Similarly, on social media you don't want to click on anything where you don't know

the source.

There's all kinds of things on there to click to go to a news story or to take a quiz.

But just keep yourself safe.

If you don't trust the sender or the person sharing the information, certainly don't

click on that link.

It's really important to remember as well that when you take a quiz on Facebook, sometimes

the questions are geared to get specific answers like your childhood pet name or the street

you grew up on.

The reason for that is because they might those answers to security questions.

Just do yourself a favor and don't answer them.

It's always better to be safe than sorry and to keep thieves from getting that information

from you.

That's it for today.

We hope these five tips will help keep you safe online and if you have any other tips

that you'd like to share with us, please keep them coming to our feedback line.

We hope to see you in person next week.

Until then, don't forget to like, share, and subscribe.

And thanks for listening.
