The brand of Cain part 2

10 pretexts around a text the conclusions and the application

but you watched the previous video of the investigation; click on the card at the top

now we go with the conclusions

To understand this text, you have to look

1. Meanings. 2. Contexts. 3. The Central message

From the Cain brand, we can extract essential points

the word used in this text is "owth"

What does both brand and sign or symbol mean?

and it is important to understand that this word is used more

as a sign that as a brand

an interesting fact is that it is used 79 times in the Bible and one of them is in the rainbow signal

Then the word itself does not tell us at all, what that mark of Cain meant

2. It is likely that it was visible. If we read the text carefully, the mark was for the other people

when they found it they could see it

Many authors argue that it can be a kind of scar

recorded most likely on his forehead. It may be an option, but the truth is that there is no clarity

3. The brand was on him. Not about their descendants. It is important to keep it in mind

this is not an inheritable brand

the other thing that we can have very clear, is that we can not justify

the supremacy of a human being over others. I think that although all the interpretations are wrong

this last one of racism, it seems to me of the worst, because of it they participated

many who call themselves believers "sepulchers"

"bleached" ... and any kind of xenophobia, not only against people

of color race but

any ... any kind of Xenophobia or, mistreating a foreigner, is not

justifiable through the scriptures, it is not! the bible does not say it

It also has nothing to do with the origin of black skin

this was just one argument that many used to justify racism

4. A transcendental aspect, is that we must differentiate: one thing is the brand and another the curse.

5. The "yes" mark is a protection that God gives you; Although it is not

immortality. Cain if he died

and how does Cain die?

some authors argue that Cain dies from a bruise

and of that there is record in the song of the Lamec, in Genesis 4:23

which says: Lamec said to his women Ada and Zila: listen well women of Lamec

Listen to my words! I killed a man for hurting me and a boy for hitting me

They speculate that it was an accident. But the truth is that those are unproven legends.

What we know is that if he died

Then the brand was not immortality

6. The mark is important, but the center of the passage is the curse.

The most important thing in the text is the curse and the loss of benefits

imagine a farmer who sowed, was the only thing he knew how to do; and the earth does not produce "nothing"

there is no fruit in what he does, what worse punishment than that!

and then after all this we can say; well the truth,

7. only the truth; and that is: "we do not know what the brand is"

of Cain. I know this will disappoint many, but the truth is that everything is conjecture and speculation

there is no unequivocal and reliable evidence that can tell us exactly what that brand was

and we can conclude the following, and it must be taken into account in certain passages

especially these of difficult interpretation

If the bible says nothing!

We should not say anything!

sometimes we worry and try to give explanations that are not there

now for giving an explanation to an element, "we can not lose the central message" and it is

understand the meaning of what happens

and especially the teaching that a particular passage brings for us

we can draw many lessons and the first is that: Cain was a murderer

we can not remove that attribute of evil. He did it with disobedience, with cruelty.

he is worried

Oh....

What will happen to me?

At no time did we see that sign of repentance

that's the most important thing, not so much a signal that was put or not put

God is not testing his behavior; and choose

leave a silence about him because he moves him away from his presence

that is the worst brand, which has to have anyone

section .... because definitely

He decided not to repent. There is not a single moment in which that repentance is seen

"no" ... what you see in Cain is

certain

insolence

insensitivity to pain also of their

parents

he does not care about God's pain, he does not care about making his brother suffer

he's just thinking ... you must not do anything to me

Finally it is important to keep in mind that anyway

Cain if it was marked in history

of humanity with some titles

1. Be the first born of the human race remember that Adam and Eve

both were made by the hand of God, instead he was the first born. but it is also both ...

2. the first

murderer the first murderer in history that is a terrible mark

3. is the first damn of the human race remember that until then it was satan and demons

who rebelled who had been

damn but in this case

Cain takes a title, not very

honorific. and also; 4. It is the first

exiled ... Huy! what brands and unique titles of Cain.

The last reflection we could do

before praying is this: and let's not forget that as long as Jesus Christ has not come back to earth we will have

opportunity to repent Maybe if in your past, you're seeing me, suddenly you got too involved, in themes

occultists and these esoteric subjects

iluminatis and others; I invite you

to especially tell God to remove your mind from those

crazy conspiracies that have nothing to do with the sacred scriptures

that there may be other stories, of course there are, but this is not about telling all the stories of the old world

That's not the focus, I think that there if we have not understood

This is a story of spiritual truth and there will be facts that are not there because they have no relevance

spiritual. Do not stop believing that this is the maxim of your life

I know that this is not the expected answer for many ... but it is that if we look at the

context. More important than the same brand ... there is a fact that caught my attention and is why

Cain a murderer, a murderer, who really deserved death,

God puts a signal to protect him? Why would God protect the first murderer?

Well ... that will be the theme of our next devotional ... because really

here is a very interesting and crucial teaching more than the same brand

let's pray

thank you God because you teach us through your word that your forgiveness is accessible

through the redeeming work of your son Jesus Christ

Mr

only the deceiver can come to our lives to bring lies to bring things

to get us out of the truth. We apologize for all those doctrines of error for which

we dabble or if still

We doubt that your word is the truth. We ask you Lord that although these doubts are in our mind

bring that faith in your heart and little by little we can go

chewing your word, understanding it and allowing you to clarify those difficult texts but that we do not take

texts out of context because we will set up a terrible "pretext"

that he has no intention other than to get us out of

will, of you, that we move away from you

that sin does not become a habit in our lives, that we do not reach that tremendous

insensitivity as happened to Cain, who cared nothing, alone and what

consequences I will have for what I did, but we do not see in it even the smallest

of repentance

Do not forget! Amen.

if you liked this video, I like it

subscribe but the most, the most,

important is that you share it with some people that you know that

this message can go straight to your heart

that is the work; I do not care if this video I'm doing only for one person, for two, for my

subscribers I love you a little kiss and for all those who do not subscribe but they also visit me;

what's important is not that

the important thing is that you share it and especially if in these devotionals you have to

repeat them 1 2 3 times .... repeat

the important thing is that it is clear to you the message and that we understand, that the whole word is useful

See you...

The Elves and the Shoemaker

Retold by BookBox

Although Peter Schumaker

worked hard

and was kind

to everyone in the village,

he could never earn

enough money

making shoes.

On this particularly cold and snowy day,

all he had left in his workroom

was enough leather to make

one last pair of shoes.

That evening,

Peter carefully cut up

his precious leather

and laid it aside

for the morning,

when he would sew them together.

The sun rose the next morning

and Peter was ready

to start work,

but to his great surprise

an exquisitely crafted

pair of shoes

pair of shoes

sat on his worktable.

"What magic!" said Cecilia,

his wife. They quickly put the shoes

in the shop window,

for the holiday shopping season

had just begun.

As luck would have it,

the shoes fitted

the finicky Mrs. Sniggins perfectly,

and she paid a

generous sum for the fine fit.

With the money,

Peter went to buy more leather,

enough for two more pairs.

enough for two more pairs.

That evening,

he once again set to work

cutting his leather,

and he left the pieces on the table

when he went to bed.

Hoping for a good design,

he fell asleep dreaming of shoes.

he fell asleep dreaming of shoes.

When he awoke early

the next morning,

he again found

two finely crafted pairs of shoes

before his eyes.

Customers

bought these up quickly,

for they were masterpieces.

Now Peter could

buy enough leather

for four pairs of shoes.

This magical business went on

for some time,

and Schumaker's name

became well-known

for the finest shoes

in town.

These days, life was much better

for Peter and Cecilia.

One day Cecilia said,

"I wonder who has been

helping us so much?"

Peter announced:

"Tonight,

we will hide in the workshop

and see what goes on there!"

And so they did.

At exactly midnight,

two tiny

elves tiptoed in

and began to work,

swiftly making

the fine shoes.

They were

shabbily dressed

and weren't even wearing shoes themselves.

and weren't even wearing shoes themselves.

Before daybreak,

they had already dashed off,

leaving several

pairs of shoes ready

for sale that day.

Peter and Cecilia

were grateful to these

little elves,

and worried about them

working so hard

in such cold weather.

So Peter set to work

So Peter set to work

making two tiny pairs

of shoes,

and Cecilia stitched two

warm sets of clothing

for each of them.

On Christmas Eve,

instead of leather pieces,

they set

the little shoes and clothes

out and hid themselves again.

At midnight,

the elves popped in

and saw the new clothes.

In a flash, they had them

on their little bodies!

They were so happy

that they laughed and chuckled,

and danced right out the window,

and danced right out the window,

never to be seen again.

never to be seen again.

Peter continued making

shoes everyday,

and he and Cecilia

lived a very happy and contented life for many years.

lived a very happy and contented life for many years.

As did the elves!

The Best Answer to "What's Your Expected Salary?" - Duration: 6:32.

Hey, everybody, it's Andy back for another week to help you build a career you love.

Today, we're going to talk about the best answer to what's your expected salary?

Tell me.

Who doesn't love getting this question right out of the gate when they get into an interviewing

process?

I know it's a rough one.

I get this question every week during my live office hours.

I get countless comments on my blog and on the YouTube channel about this.

I know it's frustrating.

I know it makes you nervous, and I know a lot of people out there worry about actually

giving a number, and you should.

You should worry about it.

Today, what we're going to do is I'm going to give you the exact script, so you can worry

no more.

I'm going to tell you why you should use this script.

I'm going to tell you the mistakes people make, and why your thinking is likely wrong

on how to approach this.

Let's talk about this a little bit with some of the new laws that are coming into effect.

I know, in a number of countries, now also in the United States, there are a number of

states and cities, who prevent employers from asking you what you earn, so what your current

compensation is.

While I'm sure that that will continue to grow in the number of countries, and states

and cities will adopt that law, one thing that I don't think will go away is employers

asking you what your expected salary is.

Hey, how much do you want to earn?

Here's what I advise.

Number one, first thing, is under no circumstances do I ever want you to actually give them a

number.

Why?

Well, number one, first thing about this is it's uneducated.

You do not know what it's like to work there, what you'll get to do, who you get to do it

with, the training and development opportunities, the vacation, the benefits, the benefit costs,

all of those things.

It's very difficult for you to hit the nail on the head by giving them a number, especially

this early in the process.

The second thing is I don't want you to worry.

There is not a recruiter in the world who determines whether you get hired or what you

get paid.

The hiring officials do that, I mean, unless the recruiter is the hiring official or the

HR person is the hiring official.

I don't want you to worry about that, because they're not ultimately going to determine

what you're going to get paid, even if they give you a guideline as to what the position

pays.

I don't want you to worry about that upfront.

The other thing is I don't want you to actually give a number, because you might either aim

too low, in which case you're setting their expectations that your expectations are low,

even though they might be willing to pay you more, or you price yourself out because you

went too high.

The one thing that the recruiter can do in the beginning of the process is knock you

out, but the recruiter won't knock you out if they really like your background and you

don't provide a number.

You might be thinking, well, maybe I can give them a range.

Well, that might be nice, but if I'm the hiring official and you give me a range and you say,

Andy, I'd like to earn between $80,000 and $100,000, what do you think I heard?

I heard $80,000.

What were you thinking?

$100,000.

You're still giving them a low number, probably lower than they would be willing to pay, so

ranges aren't really great either, because those are still uneducated.

They're likely to anchor on your low number, when you mentally are thinking about your

high number.

Ranges don't work much, either.

What I would rather you do is, when you are approached with that question, I'd like you

to say, While compensation is important to me, I really want to look at the entire

value of working at your company: what I get to do, who I get to do it with, the training

opportunities, the career advancement opportunities, the benefits, the vacation, and all of the

other things that go along with working at your organization.

I'm excited to learn about those in the interviewing process, and toward the end I would be able

to give you a much better idea of what it is that I would expect in terms of my salary,

based on all those other factors.

At the moment, to give you any kind of estimate would be uneducated on my part.

I look forward to investigating those areas, and I look forward to starting the interview

process. You might be thinking, well, that's evasive,

and they're going to be upset if I don't actually give them a number.

What's actually going to happen if you don't give them a number is you're going to effectively

position yourself to earn a lot of points throughout the process and make a more educated

decision at the end.

What's going to happen transactionally at that moment, which most people do not realize,

is if you've got the goods, if your resume's in order, you are right for this position,

and they are ultimately going to want to hire you.

That recruiter, if you don't provide an expected salary, if it's a big deal to the recruiter

or it's a big deal to the hiring official, that recruiter will turn to the hiring official

and say, I like this person's background.

They really didn't want to advise on what it was that they expected in the way of compensation,

and the hiring official's going to say, Get them in here so we can interview her.

That's what they'll say.

The reason I know that is I was a hiring official for many, many years.

I would always tell the recruiters, Don't ask what their expected salary is.

It's silly for you to ask that, because they'll give you an uneducated answer, but some

of the recruiters insisted on asking the question, because they wanted to have an idea of whether

or not they should get you into the process.

Every time that the smart candidate didn't provide the number, the recruiter would turn

to me and say, Andy, what do we do? I would say, That person looks fantastic

on paper.

Get her here, so we can interview her. I don't want you to worry about that.

It's really ... You think that they're going to play hardball with you, but they're not.

It's better to just talk about how you want to look at the entire opportunity, and that

compensation is one part.

All right, if you'd like more about this particular subject, I go into a number of different areas

throughout the interviewing process in one of my live office hours, called Why You

Don't Get Paid What You Deserve. Check that out.

There's much more information about how to handle this, as you submit your application,

in your first call with your boss, and as you tee up the opportunity to get that offer

from the employer, and what to do and how to position yourself to get paid what you

deserve.

The precise and modern design of Munich 1972 | Design Focus - Duration: 4:16.

(DESIGN CHALLENGE

(REBRAND THE IMAGE OF POST-WWII GERMANY

(AND BRING INTO A MODERN AGE)

(KNOWN FOR

(STRONG COLOURS, SOLID GEOMETRIC DESIGN,

(A COMPREHENSIVE DESIGN PACKAGE AND FLAWLESS PICTOGRAMS)

At games like Munich '72 and Otl Aicher's work,

I'm a great fan, I have several posters on my wall

in my studio at home.

And no-one can forget the iconic poster designs

that he created - colourful, bold, dramatic,

distinctive, and differentiating.

It was colourful and bright and it was exciting,

but it also had that German precision.

So, you know, you got that story and it's pre digital.

That stuff all had to be done by hand.

It was so mathematically precise,

but Aicher's ability to make it sort of energetic,

that's why people love it.

One of the most inspirational games

that I researched and looked into was Munich.

And that source of inspiration was a poster.

A single poster that had all of the assets -

the emblem, the colours, the mascots,

everything all on one piece of paper

and I just thought, "That is so integrated,

"that's so..." You know, it so beautifully presented.

You've got no doubt that this is a single unifying event,

that's bringing everyone together.

I think a beautiful thing about the Olympic Games

is it gives the opportunity for a country

to redefine themselves on the international stage.

Munich 1972, that colour pallet was so vibrant,

because they were trying to change the perception

of the previous Nazi regime.

Having that clear vision, this is what

our goal is, and this is the message

the viewer has to walk away with, is what...

..is the difference between the Olympic's graphics

that we remember and the ones we tend to forget.

I think every designer looks back at

different aspects of design and things that work

really, really well.

There's something there that we can borrow for the future.

Looking back, it's remarkable what had actually

been done in the '60s and '70s.

They were solving some of the most complex

branding challenges in the world and they were doing it

with precision and artistic expression.

Tokyo '64 being the first to start towards that.

Of course Mexico '68 was remarkable.

But after that, Munich '72 created the most beautiful

identity systems that inspired,

not only the Olympic design itself,

but a whole generation of design.

If you look at their design system,

you'll also see that their mascot, the dachshund,

actually fit completely within the system.

It looked like it was designed

as part of this bigger picture.

It was a total game changer.

And of course the pictograms are one of the brilliant

legacy elements of what they did.

Everybody has go a changing up and styling them,

and making them different,

to making them fit their look.

But as a simple piece of communication,

Otl Aicher's pictograms are still world class.

Otl Aicher created what is referred to

as the holy grail of pictograms.

He really established an international presence

for what pictograms could and should be.

In a very structured and gridded way,

he created this beautiful cohesion of pictograms

that all came from the same place

and could quickly communicate what the sport was

and those pictograms look as fresh today

as they were in 1972.

It's a very simplistic, timeless design.

It's almost like a sculpture.

Like in a way, if you think of Michelangelo

starting with a big piece of limestone

and he just kind of chiselled away

and I think pictograms are a lot like that too.

You have to strip away all the data that is not necessary

to get to the really core idea.

The bar was set so high, it's been so difficult to

beat those 1972 pictograms.

Nyní připravují převoz těla do Británie.

Batoh s osobními věcmi a elektronikou našli surfaři nedaleko a policie rozjela rozsáhlé pátrání

Regional Programme on Local Democracy in the Western Balkans

For a life worthy of each individual, community support is a must

Bosnia and Herzegovina society is faced with social exclusion and discrimination

Because of ignorance, prejudice and fear, people with disabilities are often excluded from society

I need to be aware, not only me but any of my friends,

that parents will not be there in 5,10 years.

I need to be aware that at some point I will have to live alone

As an alternative to placement in institutions, 'supported housing'

offers care for youth with disabilities.

By supporting the work of civil society organizations,

the local community recognizes the services that citizens need

Inclusion enables every individual to participate actively in the community

'Supported housing' for people with disabilities provides

an opportunity for independence and equality.

More

Hey, welcome to British Cook. Today, I'm doing flaming coronation chicken. That's right. You heard it flaming

This is extreme food reviews version

This is my take on their version of my food to cut long story short. I did coronation chicken

They did their version my coronation chicken. This is my version of their coronation chicken. It's worth watching check this out

[INTRO NOISE]

If you want to win this one off embroidered apron please check out my patreon group

I'm doing a giveaway on my Patreon the link to that is coming up right now and look. I've creased it doing that many times

So on extreme food reviews, you've got Daniel and Jonas. Jonas is Daniels young son. I'm pretty sure Jonas being honest you are the brains really.

Shhhh! Don't tell Dad. Of course I do have to say their version isn't as good as mine. I mean, it's not a very good channel

They've got...... It's a little bit...Pfft

Only kidding their chicken is also their channel is awesome

I'm gonna show you that later. Two delicious fresh chicken Brest

Obviously If you want to make less you can use one chicken brast and one onion

But please don't cut out the spices. We want to make this flaming

Just going to cut those in half roughly

And if this is the type of food that you like and enjoy, please subscribe or if you are already subscribed

Please share this video somewhere put it on Facebook share with your friends and family get it out there.

Olive Oil, medium high heat to start

season the chicken well with salt and pepper

Pop it in the frying pan

[Chicken sizzles in pan]

Start cooking away nice medium heat

[Chicken sizzles in pan]

We're gonna let that sear for a minute then we'll turn it down when that chickens start doing a nice golden-brown colour like this

Flip it over and season it again

[Chicken sizzles in pan]

Lovely moist tender chicken

Absolutely delicious when the chicken is cooked through like this take off

We let it cool for a moment before we go to the next stage

On a clean surface with a clean knife just gently cut that into small strips. Look at that delicious juicy chicken

What we're going to do is going to cut this in the strips and then cube it

Cut and cube all of your chicken. Is that starting to make you feel hungry yet

Let the chicken cool down cube it and we're going to put this in the fridge

Covered over for about half an hour while we make the rest this of this sauce

2 small onions

chopped

right, then get a pan, olive oil nice and hot, onions in they go. We want these onions to cook down nice and

Golden brown, we're gonna add some spices and some herbs and sees things in there in a moment

So while that cooks away down there

Let me just tell you a quick funny story in Dan's video

Extreme food reviews using curry powder and he calls it number 2 curry powder...... Number 2 curry powder

I'm gonna be using a medium curry powder up to you if you want .Up to you if you want it medium ,mild or hot. He also uses something he calls apricots

Apricots we call an apricots because it's AP. It's like pool and bool.

Let me know if you're American, leave me comment. Do you say apricot or apricot?

And why do you say apricot when it's got a P? Leave me a comment down below. Let me know

Ok, so the onions are starting to soften up really nicely. Let's get that curry powder in there. Give it a stir around

That's one tablespoon of medium curry powder on there a tiny splash of water. So we can caramlise these a little bit..

[ONIONS COOKING]

Nice fresh clean bay leaf in

Their version they use one tablespoon of chili and garlic sauce. I'm gonna use 1 tablespoon of sriracha

chili sauce

you all know I love and

One tablespoon of this Reds triple six hot sauce. This is made out of pineapple, habanero

Lime juice, olive oil and all sorts of delicious other things nice and hot got a

Tablespoon of that in just increasing a little bit more extreme food reviews. This is so fruity and delicious

You really should give it a try absolutely amazing adds tons of flavor

lovely

[MUSIC]

The smell coming from this curry base is absolutley fantastic.

Really nice, really nice fragrant curry flavor with the extra chilli and extra heat

That's bubbling away really nicely there in their recipe they have added about two fluid ounces of red wine

So I'm going to do exactly the same, being honest. I'm not sure what this is doing in Coronation Chicken

but we're gonna give it a go and pour it in there.

Well, it's smelling good anyway in their recipe they use lemon in this recipe. I'm gonna use

Lemongrass just a little bit

[MUSIC]

The Aromatics coming off this are absolutely sensational. It does smell really different really good.

Not sure it's coronation chicken a let's see next up half a cup of chopped apricots

nice

Next grab about half a cup or about 120 millimetres of double cream or known as heavy cream in America

We're gonna whp this up

I'm using my favorite KitchenAid very powerful elegant mixer to give this a quick whisk I did say

This is very powerful that creams go flying everywhere

both times a whip this up to a firm peak which holds a shape when it folds together with some other ingredients right now into

The whipped cream. We add one cup of Mayonnaise.

Well, that's about turning 37 millimeters 2040 meals or half a pint of mayonnaise. I'm not going to measure this out

I'm going to guess it I've got a good idea. What roughly should go in and there another little squeeze. That's absolutely crazy

I've just weighed the bottle which I took it out of and that's exactly what I need in there in go the dried apricots

For my version I'm using two tablespoons of Geeta's premium mango chutney

Absolutely amazing. So good

one just look at that, two

[MUSIC]

Now do you remember that curry paste we made let's go and grab that curry paste .doesn't that look absolutely delicious?

Let's just take out the bay leaf and the lemongrass and we'll pop that in there mixture into

As I said earlier, I wasn't too sure in the idea of red wine. I have to be honest for you

This smells really, really good. Actually that's starting to look quite a nice coronation chicken

It's gonna be a very hot and spicy coronation chicken. And by the time I finish with it, it's gonna be flaming

Literally, I'm gonna give it a good taste. I'm gonna give it a nice good big taste see what sort of heat we've got there

Wow

Okay, that red wine is good in there

It's really quite interesting that triple six sauce from Reds with the habanero , lime and with the pineapple

Really taste and then that flavor already buillds. Not too much heat pretty good though. I'd say to you

This is a pretty hot Coronation chicken. Something really worth trying but let's take this to the next level

So let's just get some of this lovely chicken from earlier mix with some that sauce and then let's get some flames going

I don't have any candles to hand, but I do have a couple of chillies

Are you ready?

Brandy, just uh just a little on there extreme food reviews. You put yours in the fridge. I set fire

To mine.

[INTRO NOISE]

Some heat coming off that. The link to extreme food reviews the video which features me as well

It's coming out right now have a look at that video. Check them out subscribe to their fantastic

Let them know british cook sent you over

There's also a link to my patreon group in the description down below and also the first comment which has being pinned up there.

New Agent Tips, Competing in Real Estate, AI, and Social Media Budget | #TomFerryShow Q&A - Duration: 18:37.

- Welcome to the Tom Ferry Show.

Today I'm answering about seven questions that we've been

getting on Facebook and Insta and on Youtube,

to help you not reinvent the wheel.

But instead, quickly take the right action,

so let's jump right in.

(energetic music)

- The first question was, "Hey Tom, what's the best

"way to know my local market as a newer

"or a veteran agent who's coming back?"

Well, it's the same thing my friends,

it's always three things.

One, it's look at the daily hot sheets to know

what's selling, what just closed, you know,

what new escrows are opening, what pendings,

and of course, expireds, cancels, withdrawns.

To really study it and to look at it and say,

okay, what's going on, what's moving, what's not moving.

That's number one.

Number two, preview property, right?

I'm blown away by the number of agents

that don't go out and preview.

And then great agents, Andy Stavros,

I was just watching his Instagram story.

He's driving around, "Hey I'm about to go look at this

great little house on Linda Isle, here's the scoop."

And he's doing it on his Instagram story,

killing two birds with one stone, right?

Putting out some great content that people are interested in

new listings that are coming on the market,

but he's also previewing, which is critical

to know the inventory, to know the prices.

And then of course, the last one is to always snuggle up

to the best agents in the marketplace and just say,

"How's the market, what's going on, what are you seeing,

"what do you like, what do you not like?"

Those three things makes you more of the local market expert

so when people ask you questions, you've got some real data

and some stories and case studies to share with them.

So that's important.

The second question I got was, "Hey Tom, what Facebook page

"would you suggest in use of content,

"like personal page or business page?"

And, you know, this question's been around for a long time.

Really, since the origin of what were like fan pages

that became business pages, and the answer's quite simple.

Always on your business page, always on your business page,

always on your business page.

Why, because there we can boost, we can advertise,

you can create lists of people that you want and segment

to do your marketing, so always on your business page.

I think this is the number still,

you gotta have about 50 followers on that page

in order to do all that stuff, but that's easy cheesy.

All right, I liked this question.

"Hey Tom, what Realtors in your opinion are crushing it

"with real estate video marketing?"

There are so many that are doing it now, it is remarkable.

A couple that I would pay attention to,

I just met with them all recently, so they're top of mind.

Chris Kwon from Douglas Elliman right here in Irvine,

absolutely killing it, killing it on the creative side.

Each one of these are doing it differently,

but Chris does a remarkable job on the creative that causes

him to differentiate himself from his competition,

to stand out, to be more likable, right?

I mean, you kinda fall in love with the guy just watching

his videos, so Chris Kwon, K-W-O-N, just wanna make sure I

spell it right, maybe do a little link.

Christophe Choo, over in Beverly Hills.

these three are all southern California, but I just

met with them recently so they're on my mind.

Christophe is doing something right now that is absolutely

crushing it, we're gonna talk about it at the summit.

Check it out, he gets in his car, and he does

neighborhood tours, and then he immediately, from his phone,

right, so on his phone like this, he's like,

"Hey everybody, it's Christophe.

"Today we're looking at Beverly Hills flats."

And it's on him, then he flips it around, then he drives

through the neighborhood, and he describes the houses,

who lives there, the builders, the new construction,

what's recently sold, giving people this sort of like

in-depth view of what's happening in that community.

Now I don't know how many he's done, but he's done a lot

of them, Beverly Hills, West side, Santa Monica, et cetera.

If you go to his YouTube channel, you'll see it.

It's very simple, I'm not saying it's ghetto,

but it's just from his iPhone, and you know what?

It kills it, especially because he takes it,

puts it inside YouTube, he does all the appropriate tags,

he does all the appropriate like, to know,

hey if I'm looking for houses in Beverly Hills flats,

you're gonna see his video on YouTube, it's that good.

He's getting "come list me" calls.

And then Timmy Smith.

Actually you know, Kyle Whissel.

Kyle Whissel won recently BombBomb's, I think he was the

number one most influential video agent in the country,

and if you look at what he is doing, really smart.

Everything from community videos, to interviewing local

business owners, to just showcasing listings, to just

showing what he's doing in his business to help his clients,

he really covers the full spectrum of video.

And I think, between those three,

you're gonna get a ton of great ideas.

But those would be the first three that just come to mind.

Next question, I love this one.

So Margie Hare, asked me this on Facebook.

"How do I become more coachable?"

So, you know this is obviously personal for me, not because

I'm a coach, I think about it more so because of my son.

So my son is 17 years old, playing tennis, was injured

nine months ago, so when you have a surgery

and you're coming back from being a competitive anything,

real estate agent, tennis player, you name it,

there's this mindset that sometimes takes over.

And what I saw in him recently was his resistance

to listen to his coach, his lack of coachability.

And whether it was because, "Ugh, my wrist still kinda hurts

"and I'm not sure if I can do it."

But that doubt that had seeped in kills his performance.

Now I will tell you, I sat down with him and with his coach

and we just had a really honest conversation, like

dude, I love you, so Margie, ready?

I love you.

If you don't do anything, no one cares.

If you never sell a house again, no one cares, right?

It's not gonna say on your tombstone, born this day

and this day, and oh by the way, in the summer of 2018

she stopped selling houses.

No one cares.

You have to ask yourself this question.

Ready? Three parts.

Number one, if I'm crazy coachable, like militant coachable,

like I do everything my coach asks me to do,

what's the worst-case scenario?

List it out, what's the worst-case scenario?

I have to work a few more hours, at times I don't look good.

Remember the whole fixed mindset?

That's usually what stops you.

I won't look good, it'll be uncomfortable, I'm gonna be

outside of my comfort zone, it's all it is, right?

But what the worst case?

I'll be embarrassed, maybe someone in my office will be like

"What are you doing," or "Hey bro we're all going away,

"it's summertime, let's go play, whee"

and you're like, "No, I'm actually doing what I

"committed to with my coach," right?

And it feels awkward and it feels weird,

like that's the worst-case scenario.

No one's gonna like, hurt you, do you know what I mean?

There's no death and dying in this scenario of

calling an expired as a metaphorical example.

But then, you gotta look at the next question, which is,

what's the most likely scenario?

So if that's the worst-case scenario, I feel embarrassed,

I feel uncomfortable, I'm outside of my comfort zone,

I've never done this before, it was awkward, somebody

rejected me, somebody hung up on me, that's the worst-case.

What's the most likely case?

You get some leads, you get some appointments,

you win some business, you get some projects done,

you get a little more, remember the circles?

You get more completion, a little more integrity

in your business, is that the most likely scenario?

Then you ask yourself, what's the best case scenario?

So I'm super coachable, I'm really militant, my coach

says jump, I say how high and I jump.

What's the best case scenario?

And I have found for me in life, when making tough decisions

what's the worst case, what's the most likely,

what's the best case, right?

Coachable is not a big issue, but maybe it is for you Margie

so ask yourself those three questions,

and then take the right action.

Next question I got, I love this one, because it's been

coming up more and more, especially because of the

Peter Diamandis video recently.

"AI technology concerns me.

"How many jobs is it going to take away?"

Without a shadow of a doubt, I am not the expert

on the subject, because I'm a part of that Abundance 360

group, I did sit in a forum where, it was very clear

amongst these 360 members that, in the future,

whether that is three years, five years, ten years,

fifteen years, if you're a cab driver, if you're a truck

driver, if you're in that kind of transportation business,

(claps)

that world's gonna be disrupted.

So whether that's five or ten million people,

they will be displaced, there's no doubt about it.

Is it going to impact the real estate world?

The answer is, I hope so.

I hope so, I hope that eventually I can get to,

"I need a three bedroom, two bath home at the corner of

"West 17th and Manhattan and I wanna spend no more than

"$7,000 a month on rent, and I need it to be dog friendly."

And bam, it shows up.

I hope that that becomes available.

I hope that I hit a button, and the whole thing pops up,

and I can view it, maybe through Oculus

or some kind of glass device.

I want all that stuff.

Will it be change, will it be hard for some people,

will some jobs be disrupted?

One thousand percent, and just as equally,

millions of new jobs then show up.

That's the way the world works.

It's like my buddy Steve Harney says.

"Tom, the problem is it's change."

It's change, right, change creates fear, fear creates doubt,

doubt puts most people in a state of paralysis, right?

Where you do nothing, and when

there is no action, you're dead.

So the deal is, guess what, it's all coming.

But is it five years, ten years, twenty years, who knows.

My advice to you is, dig in deep with your relationships.

Dig in deep on your skills, dig in deep on your marketing,

and do the things that give you power that you can control,

and pay attention to what's happening with tech.

Don't go blind to it, pay attention to it, but focus on the

foundation of your business and your success and your

relationships first, and then you're always gonna win.

All right, I love this question,

I actually thought this was great.

Sleepless in OC asks on YouTube, "Hey Tom,

how do I sell a home really quick for the best possible

price without having to hold an open house?"

Well, Sleepless in OC, maybe you should change your name to

Wake Up in OC or Let's Do Open Houses in OC,

because the reality is my friends, open houses

are not just a place where we market

the property and try and find a buyer.

All the stats show that maybe one percent, one percent

of the open houses actually sell from somebody that

just previewed the house in an open house.

What it does give you though, is the opportunity to go

knock on twenty doors across the street.

"Hi, I'm Tom, I just listed the home, here's the flyer,

"here's the information, here's the price.

"Love for you to come by."

Twenty to the right, twenty to the left, twenty across.

I think that's like Tommy Hopkins, from like a thousand...

You remember Tommy Hopkins, like from a --

Oh, I have such a Tommy Hopkins story, I can't tell it.

My dad pushed him in our pool in

Huntington Beach, California, like I'm old school.

I've been around for a while, but classic moment.

I remember it, I was like this big.

So here's the deal.

I would challenge you to say, you are doing

a disservice not to just the client,

but to yourself by not doing open houses.

They're just too wonderful an opportunity for you

to meet the neighbors, get connected, have agents come

through, get some feedback on pricing, that kind of stuff.

It's a no-brainer, get rid of that

stinkin' thinkin', and do more open houses.

All right, "Tom, what three major pitfalls would you tell

"new agents to avoid," from Harris Tran on Facebook.

Harris, great question, I've done a ton of videos on this.

I'll give you maybe three things that maybe I haven't

said to you in the past or something a little bit different.

The first thing is, you gotta have a mentor, right?

An agent in your office that you can turn to.

"Tristan, help me with this."

"Richard, how do I structure this deal, what do I say?

"I'm crafting this email, will you take a look at it?

"I'm making a decision on my CRM, can I get some feedback?"

Having a mentor, someone inside your office

that you can turn to, could be your manager, could be

your broker, could just be a senior agent inside the office,

someone that's been around the block.

Cannot, cannot stress to you how important that is.

Number two, ready, if you think you're gonna make any money

only working your sphere, quit the business now.

Quit the business now.

You have got to be multi-faceted, you cannot be myopic,

come into this real estate business, start calling

your friends and saying, "Hey I'm in the business, and

"who do you know who wants to buy and sell?"

You're gonna die with that strategy.

There's a reason why the turnover's so tremendous, right?

A good broker today, a good mentor today, is going to say to

you, "Look kid," and by the way, you could be 60 and still

a kid, "Look kid, you gotta do some of this, you gotta do

"some of this, you gotta do some of this,

"you gotta do some of this," right?

You definitely want to work your sphere, no doubt about it,

but you wanna do some open houses, you probably want to call

expireds, you probably wanna call For Sale By Owners.

"Tom, I don't like those."

It's cool, 'cause they don't like you either,

so don't worry about it, but here's the dealio.

They've already raised their hand and said,

"Hey, I'm thinking about selling, and this is what I know."

When you can call a Zillow Make me Move,

when you can call a For Sale by Owner,

when you can call an expired, and navigate through

their unmet expectations, let me say that to you again,

when you can navigate through their unmet expectations,

"I tried to sell it, it didn't work out."

"I was told the market's unbelievable, I wanna save on

"the commission, I'm selling it on my own."

"I actually took the time to put all these photos on Zillow

"and said, I'm thinking about selling, Zillow make me move."

If you can navigate those things, you are

more valuable to the people in your sphere.

You know what works, you know what doesn't.

You know the mistakes to avoid.

You become more of an expert and a professional

to help the people that you know make those good decisions.

Does that make sense?

So that would be my second piece of advice.

The third thing is, we're in a skills market.

Inventory, right, is it going up,

is it going down, always a factor.

Number two, demand, how many people are coming into

the marketplace that wanna buy in all those

price points, it's all very different.

And then the third part is the cost of money.

Well guess what, those three factors, for my 30 years,

have always been the sort of overarching issues

of why the real estate market is moving or it's not.

Inventory, demand, and the cost of money.

Cost of money's going up.

In many cases, the demand is just steamrolling,

it's unbelievable in the mid to low price points,

how many people wanna buy right now.

And then of course on the higher end, maybe not so much.

Maybe not so much, for all my friends

that are paying attention.

And then of course, the third one is inventory.

What's available?

You gotta know those three things.

All three of those things create, my friend, be very clear,

a different set of marketing and skills.

A different set of marketing and skills.

To market a home in this market versus say,

2013, when you just hit enter in

the MLS and it was gone, you with me?

Versus today, dependent upon the price you're in,

you hit enter and you sit and wait, and suddenly we've

got time on market, and suddenly we're having

price reduction or price amendment conversations,

which we should do a whole show on that, by the way.

It's a different market, requiring different skills,

requiring different abilities to market yourself.

Especially right now, because of the number of discount

brokers, the number of internet-based, tech-enabled

service companies that are in our space,

differentiation is a major issue right now.

And if you're a brand new agent,

it's an even bigger issue for you.

Why should I work with you versus the umpteen-gazillion

other agents in your marketplace?

So I would be focusing on those three things right now.

I'd be on YouTube searching for videos on it,

I'd be having conversations with my mentor,

I'd be meeting with senior agents inside the office,

and talking about all these factors,

getting on a plan, and getting to work.

And then the last question, ready?

Nick Hotmer, Hutmer, I'm totally butchering that.

Sorry Nick, on Facebook, he said,

"It's on what percentage of your GCI, your gross commission

"income, would you reinvest in Facebook marketing, and would

"you hire someone to do it with a virtual assistant?"

So I'm gonna talk about the last part first.

In a discussion with a few of my coaches,

they have been analyzing outsourced Facebook versus

you doing it from your own IP, right?

And guess what, from your own IP, you get better response,

more interaction, you show up in the news feeds faster

than some of these houses that are doing it for you.

Do your own research and check it out.

Our research says it's always infinitely better

from your own IP, from your phone, from your laptop

that's associated with that Facebook account,

that Instagram account, et cetera.

Do your research.

In terms of investment, be really clear.

Most of our clients are between ten to fifteen percent

of their projected gross revenues, right,

their projected gross revenues on all things marketing.

Now that's, swag, a business card, a flyer, a brochure,

their website, their Facebook ads, their email marketing

association, like it's everything.

I say for Facebook right now, it's really about two things.

Brand awareness, and lead generation.

So brand awareness, if I'm putting out content, which you

should be doing on Facebook and Insta and Twitter and

everything else, and I do something, la la la la la,

and it gets a really good response early,

I'm gonna spend a few bones to boost it.

We used to talk about unicorns versus donkeys.

Not all of your content's gonna be great.

So if it's a donkey, don't spend any money there.

But if it gets traction and interaction and engagement,

spend some money and boost it to more people like that,

that's a good idea, I think it's about one percent.

One of your ten to fifteen towards all things Facebook

for boosting, for promoting that content,

as well as for advertising for future sellers.

Most of my clients will tell you today, Facebook doing

this advertising is the ultimate degree of separation,

it's what makes them stand out, it's a big part of the

differentiating factor for them.

They're working all these different lead sources,

but guess what, when people are spending eight hours a day,

12, 15, 16 hours a day on this device, and you're

consistently in the news feed, bringing them value,

not just promoting a listing,

(snaps)

That is a game-changer.

So one percent, that would be my number.

All right, ask yourself this question.

I just went through all this Q and A, what other

questions do you have, whether it's on Facebook or Twitter,

on my YouTube channel, let us know because we wanna

keep bringing you the value that is really important to you.

The questions or the strategies that you need

to grow your business, to shave off the learning curve,

and ultimately build it by design.

So let me know, let me know, let me know.

And if you share this with a couple buddies,

I'd always appreciate it.

Thanks so much, I'll look forward

to seeing you in the comments.

Remember always, your strategy matters, and now more

than ever, your ability to execute, that's what rules.

See ya soon.

Why These Lasers Are Too Powerful to Use in Space - Duration: 3:32.

Hey guys! Matt here for Science or Fiction.

Many countries have proposed developing giant lasers to shoot at things in space.

No, this is not the plot of Austin Powers 4, these are real, honest-to-god plans hatched

up by a group of scientists.

The idea is that a massive laser would be used to zap space junk into such tiny pieces

so that they will no longer pose a threat to important spacecraft like the International

Space Station.

But, would that even work?

Are space lasers really a thing?

Well, first, you might be wondering, what the heck is space junk?

There are actually a couple of types.

There's natural and unnatural kinds.

The natural kind mostly refers to small meteors that orbit the sun.

The unnatural kind, also known as orbital debris, includes any man-made object orbiting

the Earth that no longer serves a useful function.

This includes pieces of nonfunctional spacecraft, old rockets, abandoned launch vehicle stations,

retired satellites, some dude in a Telsa/car etc.

Now, many space agencies are trying to develop plans to deal with the debris because space

junk is becoming a huge problem for their operations.

And this shouldn't come as a big surprise given that humans have been sending all sorts

of things up into the cosmos over the last 60 years.

There are over 20,000 pieces of space junk larger than a softball currently orbiting

Earth.

There are well over 500,000 pieces of space junk that are the same size as a marble or

larger, and millions upon millions of pieces that are much smaller.

That said, even a super tiny piece of space junk could inflict serious damage on an active

spacecraft, including the ISS, given that most of these morsels are traveling up to

speeds of up to 17,500 mph.

NASA first started to consider the option of a laser in 1996.

The space agency teamed up with the U.S. Air Force on Project Orion, which suggested that

a powerful laser could be used to vaporize surface material on space junk.

If vaporized enough, the idea was that the objects would be taken out of orbit and come

hurtling back to Earth, where they would burn up in the atmosphere.

This proposal never became a reality because the laser would be so powerful that it could

also have been considered a weapon, which wasn't likely to sit well with other countries.

Since then, NASA has proposed using much less powerful lasers to do a similar job.

In 2011, a team looked into using a system that would operate using photon momentum.

Instead of one quick zap, this laser would use a much weaker light that would concentrate

on one piece of junk for an hour or two over the course of multiple days.

Still, this proposal has yet to become a reality.

There have also been proposals for magnets that would be used to lure the pieces out

of orbit.

And (a group of) European engineers have recently developed a net with a harpoon to test the

effectiveness of plucking debris out of orbit and sending it into the atmosphere to burn.

But as lasers remain one of the more popular ideas, many still fear that the deployment

of lasers could mean the militarization of space.

Theoretically, a laser could also destroy functioning satellites from other countries,

not only space debris.

There are strict international treaties in place to prevent space militarization, which

makes plans like this one very controversial.

Whether or not space lasers ever become a reality, the plan is feasible.

The U.S. and other countries definitely have the technology to carry it out.

So while this laser scheme may seem like something out of a Star Wars or James Bond movie, it's

real, and it could start within our lifetimes.

Speaking of something out of a James Bond movie, what happens when humans go really

fast?

1142B AVC Sequels I want him to eat again through the mouth and not the probe! ※With subtitles - Duration: 6:12.

In December of last year my father had a stroke

As he can not swallow he made gastrostomy

Oh, so he already did ...

He was hospitalized ...

About two months

From January to February this year ...

he was feeding on a nose tube

but as he could not swallow right the doctor took it off

and put the machine

and the doctor said that maybe it would be better

but not much improved

You're saying it's the epiglottis not working.

So not working

what he eats does not go to the stomach and enters the lung

Is this bone

Out is the side

this is the medial

So I did ...

And now it started working

Drink water

Drink quietly

It is that the doctor says that he can not

No need to put so much ...

- And then? - Is tasty.

It's good, is not it?

Is it hard for him to stop drooling?

The baby sitter...

He's drooling down the left side

The left side ...

Left side is not working

I think he feels the face a little

Try to play

That is...

This sensation and sensation

And then?

Do you feel it here?

And this side?

Do not feel

You're saying it's the left side of the brain.

Touch the left side of the head

While you're touching your head ...

Probably, if you spend some time playing it will stop drooling

The body axis is misaligned and ...

Now...

When tilting the body to the right, 5 degrees back

even without touching the head

on the left side...

This problem of vascular dysfunction

tilt to the right, 5 degrees back, this will disappear

So if it rises and tilts to the right, 5 degrees back will begin to improve

and if you come back you will start coming back

so this makes the adjustment to the right, 5 degrees back

First there is this point

and if you do, in the case of your father, it will last one hour

If you do it one at a time ...

If you do 10 times it is also like this ...

after doing 15 times will last 3 hours

And if you do it 5 times

If you do 5 times this ...

You are saying that this time will last 10 hours

And if you do it three times, the third time ...

You are saying that it will last 1 day and a half

It's hard to do this.

and the herbs are so you do not have to do this

If you find the herbs now, your father ...

One day, two days, three days

It's only three days to drink.

so it will last a lot

What sets the shaft is right, 5 degrees back, then ...

And those who have this information are 1, 2, 3, there are 4

It is...

"Improving a Vascular Dysfunction. Looking Through the Brain Reading the Herbs with the Information"

Gotta drink tea normally

Did not cough ...

And then?

Is tasty

- Did you get a taste? - Yes

I got to drink ...

The one he's drinking ...

How is the left side of the brain

So even without touching, this will improve

Have you had it all?

- Was it tasty? - Yes

Now that you've drunk, are you still drooling?

Stopped

And then?

Stopped, did not it?

And if you try playing this side ...

Can you feel it?

Yes

It is

Just by touching his head, he stopped drooling ...

He always had to keep a towel cleaning and he could not be without it

It kept pouring constantly and was not small

It's hard to take care of yourself, is not it?

Yes

Did it stop completely?

Yes, he stopped.

Sometimes it leaves a little, but ...

Today he drank water, what do you think?

I was excited

The water was hot, was not it?

But I was afraid

Is that he always kept coughing when he drank something

so we worry

Was it tasty?

Both tea and water, it had been months since he had drank

I want him to go back to normal, to walk again and to live happily again.

I just want to do something for the next one.

I want to be able to respond to what they expect of me

Compensation, reason for living, helping others

I want to be the pro.

and I want to teach these techniques to the world

TALK-THROUGH IN RUSSIAN SUMMER MAKEUP | dahyeshka - Duration: 11:26.

Hi it's Dasha.

I promised you that I'll be filming a video in Russian a long time ago.

I think it's been about 6-7 months. My apologies for taking too long.

Still better late than never.

I thought this will be a good time to film a makeup tutorial in Russian, because as you know,

There is a world cup going on in Russia, and whole world is watching

But Korea is not doing that great. After 2002, we're just not good.

Let's start it!

I'm not sure yet what makeup look should I do today, but there is a makeup look that I like lately. Wait a second.

I saw this one on internet. It's from Alberta Ferreti Spring 18 backstage.

I like this one, it's sexy and suits summer very well.

My skin feels a bit dry, so I'll start with the moisturiser.

You always need to remember to hydrate your skin before applying makeup.

In summer time I prefer to use gel over the cream.

I'm expecting lots of questions how I speak Russian, so I'll tell you.

I was raised in Uzbekistan, Samarkand. Very beautiful city. I lived there for 10 years, not that long.

Honestly I don't really know makeup words in Russian.

Because when I lived there, I didn't use any makeup as my parents were strict.

Oh it's already 12 pm, let's do it quick.

So I've applied moisturiser and…

Especially in Summer we sweat a lot so I always use a primer.

It's from… ugh I don't even know how to pronounce this brand in Russian.

YSL. I'm not applying it all over my face, only on the center of my face.

Foundation!

It's from Dior, Backstage foundation in 3N.

Today I'm applying foundation with my fingers because this product works great when you use the warmth on your hands.

This shade is slightly darker than my face skin tone, but I got some tan on my body.

So to balance my skin colour I chose a darker shade.

This foundation is very natural on skin and the coverage looks natural as well.

After blending it out this will make your skin look great like without foundation.

Now concealer.

I'll blend it using my finger tips. I need here as well.

This concealer is very liquid than what it looks like and it makes easier to blend.

Let's cover the breakouts here and here.

And now let's wait for it to dry out slightly.

I'm wiping the concealer brush with tissue and then blending the concealer edges away.

I didn't speak in Russian almost 10 years,

so my I do some mistakes in a grammar. I just need to get used to speaking Russian again.

Okay.

I'm spraying this Mac fix plus on the sponge and just lightly blending my makeup.

You can use just a dry sponge but I have a dry skin and I prefer wet sponge.

Now I need a powder. I'm using the same sponge.

I want my skin look dewy and shiny today, so I'll set makeup only under my eyes and nose and my chin.

Nars Laguna bronzer.

It's summer and I want that look like I've got nicely sun kissed.

I'm defining my cheek bones, and applying on my nose bridge as well.

I think this shade is slightly red, but it suits my skin tone.

Eyebrows!

I always use this Mac false lashes maximiser.

I'm setting my eyebrow hair upwards, they always grow downwards and I don't really like it.

Not using any pencil, I just want my eyebrows look natural like I didn't do anything to it.

So I made my eyebrows took feathery - it's a trend.

Let's drink some coffee.

Now I'm coating my eyebrows with the brow mascara.

Did you know that I studied in St. Petersburg?

In Korea I studied in Russian faculty, it wasn't the language major it was something like International study or whatever.

No clue what I learnt there.

Then I flew to St. Petersburg and went to this university, can't even remember the name now.

Oh it's St. Petersburg University of Humanities and Social Sciences.

There I studied economy, it was a tough time.

It was so hard to understand what professor's saying.

And then I got very sick cause I didn't have money to eat properly and ate only tomato cans.

But it was very fun time.

Let's go back to makeup.

Next step.

Pat McGrath Labs, Nude shiny stick.

I'm applying the balm on the high points of my face. Here and there.

And the highlighter part. Very beautiful.

Very beautiful.

Now I'm blending this with the brush.

Look how my skin is glowing now.

I love highlighter so bad, can't live without it, but there was a time when I didn't like it.

I'm using this light brown shade of the stick eyeshadow.

From Nature Republic.

I'm just drawing few lines on my eyelid and blending it with the blending brush.

I don't know how many times I said "blend" today.

And, here as well.

I don't talk much today because it's just hard to explain in Russian.

It's my first time though. I promise next time I'll be better.

Now using eyeshadow from Estee Lauder.

I'm just putting the eyeshadow on my lids close to the lash line with my finger tips.

Now just blending it again with the brush.

Same on the other side.

Ooh, sexy!

Now we need a black pencil, and defining the lower lash line.

It looks terrible, let's blend it quickly.

I want to define more on the center of my eyes.

And here as well with the same brush.

Seriously, how many times did I say "blend" today?

Don't forget here as well. I don't want them to be empty.

I look like I fell asleep with makeup on last night.

Now I'm using this gloss for eyes. So pretty!

With the finger tips I'm applying it on the center of my eyelids, just a little bit.

Do not rub it or you'll lose all the eyeshadow that you've applied.

Oh, I should have applied mascara first!

My eyes are already defined and look big, so I don't really need that much mascara.

Also on the lower lashes as well.

I'm going to use the Dior Backstage lip palette on my lips. It's new and soooo pretty.

For the lips I want them to look like I just applied a bit of lip balm,

but at the same time I want to add a bit of colour cause it will look prettier.

Thanks for watching girls and boys, see you again.

Indiana ~ Chinese House, & Big Candy Factory Tour - Duration: 11:11.

good morning a pleasant one to you from Park Forest Illinois everybody this is

actually Lincoln Highway out here six lanes in a turn lane a major portion of

US Route 30 in Lincoln Highway and behind me is something really unique

that I had to pull around and take a look at be mindful this is somebody's

private property here off the sidewalk but they've turned their house into a

Chinese looking house

it's pretty unique cook on the garage there it says compassion glue for broken

people no idea why they did it like that that's kind of different so for me the

day is still up for grabs but it's possible that we get into a new state by

the end of the day today we shall see what happens and what we find on Lincoln

Highway so for the record this portion of Lincoln Highway is possibly the most

congested heavily populated part of Lincoln Highway but maybe that means

there'll be more interesting stuff or at least Lincoln related stuff here he is

accepting some flowers from two little girls and the monument itself says on

the road to greatness how neat is that and then you've got a Capitol building

of sorts there as well so there just might be more to actually see even

though it's like heavily heavily popular populated oh well guys it looks like old

Bertha's doing some advertising outside this restaurant here we're in the chef's

hat I don't think if she knows that she might be on the actual menu yeah well

they do have some nice artwork on the ass I named it go check it out for lunch

Hey a spared Betsy's life and went with chicken today stuff now kind of random

off Lincoln Highway the Stone Depot wouldn't you know it looks like it's

going out of business soon but it is still open right now

I like the animation art and the pink gorilla with the American flag can't go

wrong with that right that would get you in see how it almost has that unkept

field overgrown everything I mean that could be somebody's yard aren't right

there the big kitty cat huh well I'm glad it's open right now I got to see it

anybody want to build a house out of sod 349 4 6 foot by 18 inches yeah you could

probably build a house for like a thousand dollars out of sod like that

one I'd share with you a couple weeks ago it's got to hold up better than my

RV Oh bazinga too soon sorry yota you're doing well or your very own palm tree I

didn't this isn't really the right area for palms though we're not quite south

far enough hey be cool Indiana I'm not very impressed you're not off to a great

start you don't even have a welcome to Indiana State sign on Lincoln Highway

nothing thankfully Google Google Maps knew I was in Indiana and welcome to me

but the state of Indiana had nothing to say but we're in dire Indiana

there's no point waiting for traffic to stop because it's not gonna stop oh wait

that is gonna stop red light look the Lincoln Highway head of states first

transcontinental highway constructed in 1913 228 New York City to San Francisco

dedicated the memory of Abraham Lincoln and the other side talks about the ideal

section 1.5 miles of Lincoln Highway completed in 1923 designed and built as

a model for the road construction so this is what Indiana had in mind for the

entire country for Lincoln Highway what do you think it looks pretty commercial

to me let's get out of this big city I got

about a half mile to walk just a fact of life there is no way around it because

as the roads get busier as the towns get bigger bigger there's just nowhere to

stop there's nowhere to park now we're gonna do a lot of walking no biggie

so I'm parked in the fancy neighborhood there of Castle wood yes by the way this

is not what I came back for Myers castle with a gargoyle and I don't really know

what it is we'll come back to that I might we'll see it was private property

or what's up all right this up here is what I came

for and it's only accessible 1/2 mile walk on the sidewalk there's a Lincoln

marker they're talking about the ideal section again I'm going to take a

picture of this so I can get some ideas for later for Indiana had some

restoration in 2009 does the traffic almost ruin the mood

I don't know it kind of does for me I feel like I'm yelling all the time says

what was the ideal campsite there was no auto travel a roadside motor court you

go to a motel for a dollar to 350 and then they bought the property of the

castle for $3,400 so it's Lincoln Highway right there and here we are at

Alban s the chocolate and gummi bear factory oh yeah

feel like we're in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory see what that is

chocolate coming down from the room yep

and

no photography or videography up there they don't want you filming their

factory stuff so we'll honor that but they got gummy bears coming off the

conveyor belt right now so magnet choices they they have the really flat

ones or they have the more three-dimensional globe dome ones by the

way I know I butchered the name when I came in it's pronounced albanese that's

that's the family name of the candy I honestly I have never heard of it before

I don't think I've ever seen it in the store but I'm gonna be more mindful when

I look around because they are literally making the gummy bears right here in

Indiana which is pretty cool so let me get to the Harvey and I'll show you what

I got what I stocked up on well you wouldn't like it Jax no no no it's

delicious man you wouldn't like it okay so I got a full pound of the twelve

flavor assortment there I got a quarter pound of the green apple and the blue

raspberry and the passionate peach and fresh strawberry and of course my

Albanese magnet right there with the 3d gummy bear it like it this needs to be

clean there yeah you know for whatever reason it seems that youtubers are not

allowed to complain or be negative or even talk about any problems they have

in their life because the outside world just thinks you know hey you guys have

it made you get paid to make videos and that's no work at all we're not gonna

get into the work aspect cuz i don't really care i can't change anybody's

mind you know we can't be negative we're only allowed to share the good times of

our lives any time we talk about our our problems our struggles what we're going

through day to day because people are sitting there watching that video and

they're comparing their lives to what we're doing it's like this guy can't

complain he doesn't pick up 80 pound bags of cement for a living all day you

know and that's that thing that comparison thing so your work is

harder than my work it's harder to do your job you're working hard you deserve

your money more than I do because you're doing something different than I'm doing

and so for the last couple months I have made a strong point to drop all my old

complaining and negativity and just talking about bad things that happen

stuff I can't control but to cut that out or to resolve it somehow by the end

of the video you know but okay I get it my bad days are nothing compared to

everybody else's bad days I get that okay I get it my life's a cakewalk and

everything's just peaches and cream all the time okay it's not but I can't argue

that effect anymore it doesn't matter I'm gonna finish Lincoln Highway either

way one way or another we're gonna make it guys I have downloaded my high

clearance app that I had from two years ago when I was in New York City so I've

got that app I'm gonna utilize Google Maps as well and a couple and all stays

also has a clearance measure so you can plan the route each day not necessarily

the stops of each day but I can plan the route so if I need to go this way and

Lincoln Highway has a 9 or 10 foot bridge somewhere I can go around that

and come back if I need to so there's gonna be a lot of pre night planning as

far as the map for preclearance Heights at least which is no problem I don't

mind but yeah are you pooped Jax you just look like

you had such a tiring day today how about you relax okay actually that

sounds like a good idea I'm gonna go back west about a mile to the Walley

world there and I'm gonna edit Jax is gonna stay at my side and hang out with

me while I work oh maybe multitask and watch last

night's Mariners game that I forgot to watch and that'll get back on the road

that's the winner green apple gets it I do want to make a

point that these gummi bears from albinus albanese had I already forget

Elma nice way better than any other temp it is so much moist flavor in them but

all the flavors are so strong the

I'm out at the place was probably a lot more fun - that's how I narrowed it down

to just those four individual flavors but uh that was a cool stop I don't need

a whole lot of candy well I don't need it I don't need any chocolate like

you'll almost never see me eat chocolate but gummy bears and starbursts and

strawberry frosted sprinkled doughnuts from Dunkin Donuts are also my favorite

with an iced coffee in the morning that's my day guys hope you enjoyed come

along for the journey Jackson I'll see you in a couple days back on the Lincoln

Highway back

Sabe?!

The precise and modern design of Munich 1972 | Design Focus - Duration: 4:16.

(DESIGN CHALLENGE

(REBRAND THE IMAGE OF POST-WWII GERMANY

(AND BRING INTO A MODERN AGE)

(KNOWN FOR

(STRONG COLOURS, SOLID GEOMETRIC DESIGN,

(A COMPREHENSIVE DESIGN PACKAGE AND FLAWLESS PICTOGRAMS)

At games like Munich '72 and Otl Aicher's work,

I'm a great fan, I have several posters on my wall

in my studio at home.

And no-one can forget the iconic poster designs

that he created - colourful, bold, dramatic,

distinctive, and differentiating.

It was colourful and bright and it was exciting,

but it also had that German precision.

So, you know, you got that story and it's pre digital.

That stuff all had to be done by hand.

It was so mathematically precise,

but Aicher's ability to make it sort of energetic,

that's why people love it.

One of the most inspirational games

that I researched and looked into was Munich.

And that source of inspiration was a poster.

A single poster that had all of the assets -

the emblem, the colours, the mascots,

everything all on one piece of paper

and I just thought, "That is so integrated,

"that's so..." You know, it so beautifully presented.

You've got no doubt that this is a single unifying event,

that's bringing everyone together.

I think a beautiful thing about the Olympic Games

is it gives the opportunity for a country

to redefine themselves on the international stage.

Munich 1972, that colour pallet was so vibrant,

because they were trying to change the perception

of the previous Nazi regime.

Having that clear vision, this is what

our goal is, and this is the message

the viewer has to walk away with, is what...

..is the difference between the Olympic's graphics

that we remember and the ones we tend to forget.

I think every designer looks back at

different aspects of design and things that work

really, really well.

There's something there that we can borrow for the future.

Looking back, it's remarkable what had actually

been done in the '60s and '70s.

They were solving some of the most complex

branding challenges in the world and they were doing it

with precision and artistic expression.

Tokyo '64 being the first to start towards that.

Of course Mexico '68 was remarkable.

But after that, Munich '72 created the most beautiful

identity systems that inspired,

not only the Olympic design itself,

but a whole generation of design.

If you look at their design system,

you'll also see that their mascot, the dachshund,

actually fit completely within the system.

It looked like it was designed

as part of this bigger picture.

It was a total game changer.

And of course the pictograms are one of the brilliant

legacy elements of what they did.

Everybody has go a changing up and styling them,

and making them different,

to making them fit their look.

But as a simple piece of communication,

Otl Aicher's pictograms are still world class.

Otl Aicher created what is referred to

as the holy grail of pictograms.

He really established an international presence

for what pictograms could and should be.

In a very structured and gridded way,

he created this beautiful cohesion of pictograms

that all came from the same place

and could quickly communicate what the sport was

and those pictograms look as fresh today

as they were in 1972.

It's a very simplistic, timeless design.

It's almost like a sculpture.

Like in a way, if you think of Michelangelo

starting with a big piece of limestone

and he just kind of chiselled away

and I think pictograms are a lot like that too.

You have to strip away all the data that is not necessary

to get to the really core idea.

The bar was set so high, it's been so difficult to

beat those 1972 pictograms.
