how to make goals in Cascade.

Creating goals in Cascade is quick and easy.

Start by navigating to the My Goals page.

From here, click on the Add Goal button.

This will launch the Goal Designer.

The Goal Designer will take you through a series of steps

in order to create your goal.

The first step is to determine how your goal will contribute

to the big strategic picture.

Each new goal in Cascade should ideally directly

or indirectly contribute to a larger piece of work

that is helping to achieve your strategy.

That is why, by default, you'll see a list

of all the current goals your manager is working on.

If the goal you're looking for isn't there,

you can search for any goal

in the entire organization to align to.

You can also align to multiple goals

in cases where your goal contributes

to more than one outcome.

The Goal tab is where you'll enter the actual details

of the goal you are creating.

Cascade breaks goals down into a simple action,

which is usually a simple verb,

such as Deliver or Implement.

Details of the goal, which is the rest of the title.

And the start date and deadline for your goal.

to encourage goals you write to be smart goals.

If you need to add in additional details about the goal,

you can do this in the text box below.

This could be more information

an extra set of options appear.

This is where you'll select your unit of measurement.

The next set of options is to help the system

understand more about your goal's target

by letting the system know

whether it's better to overachieve or underachieve a target.

For this particular goal,

we prefer to achieve lower than the set target,

so nine is good and 11 is bad.

The initial is used when you have a value

to begin your goal with, and you'd like the system

to check the target from this number.

In this example, if our customer wait time

is currently 25 minutes and we want to reach 10,

we will put the initial value of 25 in here.

The system also gives you the option

to determine when your goal should be marked as complete.

Goals aren't necessarily complete

when the target is reached.

For example, if your goal is to maintain

customer satisfaction to 90%,

you're maintaining, not reaching a target.

That's why Cascade allows you

to select My goal is complete

when my target and deadline is reached.

The Tracking tab is used for goals

that require the target be broken up into small targets

throughout the goal's duration.

For example, if I want to achieve revenue of one million,

I may want to break the target up into four even quarters

and achieve 25,000 each quarter.

You will then be able to track and measure your progress

against each quarter

rather than just seeing the high goal target.

You're also able to rename Milestones

to a desired term or phrasing.

This step is entirely optional.

If you don't wish to create milestones, simply click Next.

On the final tab,

you'll be able to assign labels against this goal.

The exact labels you see may differ

depending on the framework

defined in your organization's instance.

However, typically, you'll have the ability

to align your goal against elements of a scorecard

or some other strategic framework.

You'll also be able to assign a weight to this goal.

And that's how you make a goal in Cascade.

Google's Top Tax Questions - Duration: 4:28.

hey everybody its janine here today and i'm doing something a little different

today I looked up Google's year-end 2017

trends for things that were most googled pertaining to taxes and I'm here to

answer those questions. The top question that was googled in the last 12 months

pertaining to taxes is when can I file my 2017 tax return and the answer to

that is the CRA is opening the e-file and channels On

February 26 2018 so any point after that you'll be able to file your taxes. The

second most googled thing was death and taxes, which is a tiny bit morbid but

we're going to address it. There wasn't a specific question so I thought I'd give

a brief overview on this when someone passes away there are two types of

returns that you need to consider filing the final or terminal return which is

mandatory and the right and things return. The terminal return has two due

dates if the individual that is deceased passed away between January and October

31st the return is due on April 30th just as any other personal return would be

due and if the individual passed away after October 31st and before December

31st of that calendar year the tax return will we do six months after the

date of death. The rights and things return is an optional return that you

may want to look into especially those people in higher net worth situations

and the due date for this is one year after the date of death or 90 days after

you receive a notice of assessment from your terminal tax return. The third most

googled tax question was when do I need to file my return by and if you're an

individual you will need to file your tax return by April 30th and if you're

self-employed you have until June 15th. That being said if you're self-employed

and you have a balance owing while you have till June 15th to

file all payments are due by April 30th so it's in your best interest to make

sure that you're filing as well by April 30th so that you aren't hit with any

interest or penalties. The fourth most googled item when it comes to taxes is

the child tax benefit so I'm going to assume this is the Canadian child

benefit that parents can receive and I thought I'd give just I've done a brief

overview as to what this is so if you are raising a child ages zero to six you

can be eligible for up to sixty four hundred dollars a year and if your child

is under the age of eighteen but over the age of six you will be entitled to

fifty four hundred dollars in a given year these amounts are ground down based

on income levels so if you make too much money you may not qualify for these in

the year. The next most googled question was what the TFSA limit for 2018 is and it's

$5,500 and I will link my TFSA video below in the comment section as well as

right up here. The last item that I'm going to touch on is the empty homes tax

which was something that I actually hadn't really looked into that much

before making this video but I did a little bit of research and it really

only affects people in Vancouver it's an initiative that the government started

to help decrease the cost of owning a home in Vancouver because individuals

are just buying properties and holding them without renting them out and they

sit empty for the year which inherently drives the cost of renting and home

ownership up the revenues from this project are being put back into

affordable housing initiatives in Vancouver which I thought was a very

good way to spend the money and I looked up the deadline if you have a property

in Vancouver you will need to make your declaration as to whether or not your

home was empty for a specific amount of time by March 8th of 2018. If you enjoyed

the Basic Joomla Tutorials channel,

episode #30. Today's episode is

not going to be about what I was hoping

it would be about, but I'm gonna ask you

for some help a little while later to

set that one up because I have some

problems breaking something so I could

show you how to fix it. But I'm sure

someone out there will help me break it.

like I said, to show you to fix something

that we discussed in the live stream

last week and when before we get to that

I'll tell you what we are going to look

at today and that is managing the

modules in the control panel when you

log in as administrator to your Joomla

site. Because there are some basic

modules that are there but also as you

add extensions they have their own, some

of them have their own modules or little

notifications or areas that they put on

your control panel and it can get kind of

cluttered if you're using that as a

place to quickly click on links. So, why

don't we head on over to the screen here

and check things out? Remember every

month the giveaway and the Basic Joomla

to manage one site or one month to

manage unlimited sites and also a free

this month's draw. All right, here we

are in the back end of the Basic Joomla

site - and let me just the reorganize the

screen here - and basically once you log

in you're looking at this control panel,

in fact let's make sure that I am still

logged in, I am and so, basically the

admin area has its own template. Just

like the front end of the Joomla site

has a template or templates depending on

how you've set up your site and there's

different positions and these are all

modules: this last five logged in users,

the top five popular articles, Community

Builder news, these are all modules that

have been installed that are there

by default in the core Joomla or else

they've been installed by other

extensions that I have on this site.

for instance, Community Builder or down here

Jsitemap. As these add and get put

in there when you first log in it can be

kind of cluttered especially once if

you're using the control panel once

you're logged in you go and you want to

go to a new area to do something. And so

the way to manage this is very similar

basically the same way

to manage

these modules is basically the same as

managing modules for a front-end

template. And that is the goal so first

we'll go to extensions and then we'll go

to modules and I'm going to right click

and open a new tab and then here on the

left hand side we see site, we want to

see these so these are all modules that

are on the site and the front end of

this Joomla site we want to switch to

administrator. I'm also going once we

once that that comes up we see all of

these other modules that are assigned to

different positions in the template of

the administrator

template and this one is Isis. If we go

to extensions>manage right-click

extensions and then down to temp

right click and open a new tab and then

over here I'm going to select instead of

site administrator you'll see that here

is the ISIS default template that I am

using. So, if you have are used maybe

you're using Hathor or maybe you've gone

and gotten adventurous and found another

administrator module that you're using

that's basically where you can see which

module that you're using. Anyways back to

the modules for the admin area

here they all are and they will

correspond to things that are on your

control panel. For instance here's

last five logged in users and if we go

down here we will find logged in users

and it's assigned to the cpanel position.

All the filters will still work up here

so if you only want to see things that

are in a certain position you could

filter by the cpanel position and you

can also sort by order just like with

modules in the front-end and articles

and things such as that. All you need to

do really then is if you want to

unpublish get rid of that logged in

user's module is click the checkmark.

I'm using Cache Cleaner from Regular

Labs so I have it set so that when I do

actions like "save" or "publish" or

"unpublish" it flushes the cache so I

don't even need to refresh to empty the

cache to refresh before I refresh the

page back here. But once I hit refresh

I expect that the last five logged in

users is going to disappear and there

you go it's gone. So, if you're not

particularly interested in

seeing the last five logged in users or

your top five popular

articles or maybe you just don't want

the Community Builder news for instance -

and nothing personal against

Community Builder news maybe you want it

there - you can just work your way through

the template through the modules that

are assigned, the modules that are admin

modules that show up on your control

panel. So let me just first of all clear

search here so we get looking at them

all. I'm gonna turn logged in users back

on because I want to talk about that in

a second, but we could go down here

and here's Community Builder news and

I'm going to check both the updates and

the news as another example, go unpublish,

go back here, refresh and there you go the

back end is tidier. Now it's not so

much a big deal on my screen I have a

big, big wide screen here with lots of room on

it, but if you were to be using

a smaller screen or just smaller

resolution or maybe even you're logging

in for the back end on your

phone or on a tablet you don't want as

many things there jumbling up the view

that's how you unpublished the unwanted

or unneeded modules that are

showing up in your admin area. So I

figured I would just show you that today

as a Maintenance tip # 30.

Just unpublished those and keep things

tidy hey.

Is there a way to preview the positions on

the administrative template as in the

front-end template? That is a good

question. Somebody out there right now

knows the quick link to type at the top.

That would be interesting to see. Let's

check that. Can someone type

that in chat?

I think it's question mark TP or

something like that that we can try. The

other thing too that I was wondering

about, just as we were talking is this: if

I go to logged in users are there module

suffixes - yes so you could actually hide

one from showing up on a mobile device.

I think so. I'm going to try that

again, we'll do that - that'll be

another topic. I'm running slim

on topics so we'll take a look at that

as

another topic, but that's handle this

good questions here. Hajo, how can I add a

component to the left menu for the BE?

Left menu for the BE . . . just down

here? Okay. I think that's what you're

talking about right? I do not know and

you know what Hajo? I was looking

earlier, I was thinking, "I wonder

where I would find how I would install

an extension that would actually show up

on the control panel?" Does it have to be

designated for it? Because I did go to

the template

that I'm using in the front end of this

site and I went to one of the modules

that's under the front-end, and I did

not see the module positions

for the back end of the site either.

So that's another good

question. I should be writing these down.

Spicy Olive Oil Crackers | Healthy Low Fat Recipe - Duration: 6:31.

kasuri methi or dried fenugreek leaves

white pepper pdr

red chili flakes

sesame seed

coriander and cumin seeds

dry roasted

salt

baking pdr

whole wheat flour or atta

water

extra virgin olive oil

Crush the coriander and cumin seeds coarsely.

Take the flour in a large bowl.

Add in the sesame seeds

cumin and coriander seeds

chili flakes and pepper pdr

salt and baking pdr

dried fenugreek leaves

Mix thoroughly.

You can add in any other herbs or spices...

or seeds...

and try out many flavour combinations

Add in the olive oil and water.

Add less than 1/4 cup of water.

Mix it.

Use a table spoon to add in water.

Mix till the dough starts to come together.

Knead lightly to gather the dough.

Cover and let it rest for 15 mins.

After resting...

Knead it once more.

Split the dough into 2 parts.

Makes it easier to roll out.

Flour the work surface.

Roll it thinly and evenly.

Use cookie cutters, bottle caps or a knife

to cut out the crackers.

Line a baking tray with butter paper/parchment paper.

Arrange the crackers on the tray.

Roll out the rest of the dough.

Cut them into crackers.

Line them on the tray.

Use a toothpick to poke holes in the crackers.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 10 to 12 mins.

Or until they are done.

Note: Baking time varies from oven to oven.

After 12 mins.

Once they cool down slightly,

place them on the wire rack

and cool completely.

You may brush them with butter or olive oil.

Genesis 2:7 says this:

Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground

That's how God created us - out of the dust.

For His pleasure, purpose, and glory.

Because He wanted to!

So, you are wanted, desired, you're here for a reason,

for a purpose,

you are here as God's glory on display!

God CHOSE to have you here.

It's not an accident that you are so unique and special.

1 Thessalonians 1:4 says this:

For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God,

that he has chosen you.

So, God CHOSE you because He loved you first!

Imagine how blessed you are to have been handpicked by God!

You are very special!

John 15:16 says this:

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you

so that you might go and bear fruit— fruit that will last—

and so that whatever you ask in my name

the Father will give you.

That's Jesus talking to YOU.

He tells YOU straightforwardly that He CHOSE you,

He APPOINTED you.

You are THAT special!

1 Peter 2:9 says:

... you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood,

a holy nation, God's special possession,

that you may declare the praises of him who called you

out of darkness into his wonderful light.

What did you just hear?

What adjectives stood out to you?

Royal.

Holy.

Special!

Called to light!

That's YOU the Bible is talking about!

YOU are all that!!!!

Do YOU wholeheartedly believe all these things about yourself?
