What is going on guys Rob here steps to success so I wanted to go briefly over how much time and
Work is actually required for someone to start selling on Amazon
And we're talking about specifically private labels for Amazon FBA so I have a complete breakdown of exactly
How much time you need to spend in each category?
So before I get started. I just want to emphasize on one thing guys
Most people go to their nine-to-five job
And they know exactly how much their time is worth and what I mean by that is you get an hourly rate
Or you have a salary that you're gonna get paid per year
And do you know exactly what you need to do to make that much and sure that amount might go up year over a year?
Whatever that increases however you're actually
exchanging your time for money
Amazon FBA is not like a regular job, so you're not
exchanging your time for money
So this is the whole meaning behind what we call passive income so with Amazon FBA
There is a lot of upfront
Investment and it's mostly your time, but once you actually build the foundation for your business
From then on it's super simple for you to just keep
Monitoring it and making sure that money comes in so it's kind of like growing a tree as you know most people call it up
The money tree for passive income and the whole meaning behind the money tree is that?
Initially before the trees even up from its roots
It's really hard for you to take money away from it
But once you start investing time watering the plan making sure it starts to grow
From then on you just need to maintain it and you can constantly you know reap the reward from it
And that's exactly how passive income works
Specifically to Amazon FBA so I truly believe that Amazon FBA is the best?
Passive income opportunity especially if you're interested in starting a business online
I have tried you know looked over and Shopify and all kinds of other affiliate marketing
but I truly believe that Amazon FBA for 2018 is the best passive income opportunity and
overall business not only short-term
But it has a huge potential of you building a brand around your business and something that not only can you sustain?
But at the same time once you start generating those profits
It's entirely up to you if you want to grow your account to fifty thousand a month hundred thousand a month
Five hundred thousand a month, so there are people that are doing in excess of millions on Amazon a fee
And it's really not hard to get there so it all depends on what you want to get out of it
But I truly believe that you can make a whole bunch of profit off this platform
So let's get started on today's video guys going over exactly how much work you need to be putting in for Amazon
To become successful so the very first step for you to get started setting up on Amazon FBA is
Setting up your very own seller central account again. This is a professional account. It's very straightforward to do guys
It's just a whole bunch of pages
You follow step by step takes about 15 minutes to do a second is you want to create an LLC?
Again, this is an optional. That's why I put it here if you have the budget to set up your very own company
Don't do a sole proprietorship. You want to do an LLC or a corporation and
Again, we have the corporation LLC
Taking fifteen minutes to do I used a website called Legal Zoom which is very straightforward again
You do everything online. They send the paperwork to you straight to your door
again, this protects you
Against liability, it's very important that you guys do this at some point next step guys product research now
This is what a lot of people tend to struggle with
Product research is basically you guys going out there using a product research tool or putting in your own annual
time going through the best
Selling products on Amazon and start dissecting profitable products out there
Again guys this I put you know you need to be spending at least three to four hours a day and let me give you
Kind of a scenario that most people tend to struggle with in this case for product research on amazon FBA
So a lot of people have their nine-to-five job
So you go to you wake up at 8:00 have breakfast courier work at 9:00 finish at 5:00
Get home spend some time with family, but instead of watching TV Netflix going on the computer
Going out drinking try to spend at least three to four hours a day especially if you're serious with starting your
Amazon business online make sure you put in at least three to four hours a day
Again for me personally when I started on Amazon FBA took me about I think about five to eight hours to find my first product
But for some people they find it within five hours some people sooner
But generally and typically most people takes them about five to thirty hours of
Time to find that one first product so again
This is very important guys so expect it to take between five to thirty hours, so if you're putting three to four hours a day
Again, you need to be putting in at least a week
To find that first product it might take less it might take more, but this is one of the crucial
Steps for you to do well on Amazon FBA as I've repeated over and over in some of my previous videos
This is the one one category you guys do not want to jump. It's very important you find a good product no matter
How well you do everything else the marketing the product?
Optimization so on and so forth if you have a bad product
There is not much you can do to make it so so make sure you put it enough time on this
Again before we continue
I do have a one on one mentoring
Course where I go through you through each one of the products with you
Make sure that it's a killer product make sure you can make profits off it
So you don't end up making any mistakes, so if you're interested in that check out the link below
It's gonna be the first link in the description box on this video so make sure to check it out if you are interested
in taking
Amazon FBA to the next level so hopefully you've spent now
This three to four hours a day you found that killer product now you found that golden product
And you want to move on to your next step, which is checking for seasonality
So what I mean by seasonality is a lot of products are are seasonal
So they might sell really well
Like in a specific season and the other two or three seasons or whatever the case may be the sales might be
A tenth of what it usually is so you always want to make sure that whatever product you're ordering one
It's not seasonal too. If it is season out that you are going to get your product in Amazon's warehouse before
the season starts again guys very important
So make sure you do that patents you guys cannot sell a patented product on Amazon FBA same with trends
So make sure you check the trends make sure everything checks out guys this you can do on Google Trends as I go over it
So make sure again this takes about ten minutes to do. It's really simple to check a seasonality patents on trends again ten minutes
Definitely worthwhile you guys want to do this for every single one of your product
especially once you have spent enough time and found a good profitable product so the total time taken to find a
profitable product and going over setting up your seller central creating an LLC doing the product research and checking for
seasonality patents and trends on Amazon FBA
Takes about one hour
Plus the time to find the viable product
Which is this step here so if we add the fifteen minutes to 15 minutes under 10?
We get slightly less than one hour
But I want to be super
Conservative on this video for how much work actually takes for you guys to get started on Amazon
So you guys get a very conservative number again, this might be a lot less
But this is a typical amount that you can expect to spend for this stage once you have found
That product again
And you are past the getting started page you want to go ahead and start contacting and negotiating with suppliers guys
So once you've found a profitable product make sure that you message at least three to five suppliers again
This is very straightforward again. If you have not
Done this before in the course
I have a template that you can use that all you have to do is put in your company name send it to all your
suppliers and just wait for them to reply back to you if you don't come up with a message that you can send all your
Suppliers make sure that it's a good message a lot of these sellers get a ton of messages every day
So if it's not a professional template that you're using it could hurt you in the in the long run again
Make sure for each product guys message at least three to five suppliers
Get a product that with that with the actual product cost and the land the cost so you know what your finished
Price is landed to Amazon FBA warehouse so this takes about 20 minutes to do compare the quotes and invoices
between the three to five suppliers and the ultimate goal is for you guys to find the lowest cost the highest quality and
The best agent that you think that you cannot build the long term relationship on
Whatever platform you're using so whether if it's Alibaba Aliexpress DHgate
So make sure you compare those quotes and invoices again this stage takes about 30 minutes to do
Next you want to move on to talking to your chosen supplier
Spend an hour get a sample place the order make sure everything is smooth again, try to keep everything within one platform
So there is no miscommunication
Take the time to speak with and again, so now that we have spent this one hour
We want to go back and kind of add all these steps up so the total time taken to speak with suppliers again is about
One and a half to two hours as you guys can see again you guys can
Actually speed up some of this it really doesn't take a whole bunch of time to you know
Email the same template to five different suppliers especially if you have it ready to go template
So this could be as little as five minutes, but I want to be conservative
So I'm thinking what if someone wants to go in and actually type every individual email, but again all of these can be
Obviously taken off and you can shave off some time from each one of these
But let's go ahead and put a conservative
Amount of time taken which is an hour and 30 minutes to talk with Amazon suppliers
Hopefully now you've ordered your product, and you're on the next stage of creating your listing guys
So make sure that you have a logo mate again takes 10 minutes to do I highly suggest fiber
You can get a logo made as as cheap as six dollars, or you can even get something really complicated me
It just depends on what kind of product. You're you're going after and who your target audience is
Again, this is gonna be a less than 10 minutes, but just figure of you
I said you got to go on Fiverr create an account if you've never used it you're gonna
Find at least two three people that you're interested in
Messaging back and forth and paying one of them to get it done nice thing about fiber is you get unlimited revisions?
So if you for whatever reason you're not happy you get your money back
Next days guy is also important again this depends on the kind of product the margins that you're playing with you have the package box
Design if you are going for the quality look for your product, and there is a ton of people selling the same product
I highly recommend that you spend some money and time on the package and box design again
You can get something fairly simple meat for as cheap as twenty bucks. I highly recommend. You don't do this yourself
There are people on fiber that can do this again really cheap for you guys twenty bucks again
You can even get it slightly more expensive, but depends on what look you're going after
So now we have the logo done we have the packaging and boxing design done
We want it again go back to our Amazon FBA calculator
check profit margins I
recommend anything between 40 to 50 percent
Anything higher than that is a bonus anything lower than that make sure that you know you deeply look into it
It could be a opportunity for you to bundle later on or actually add it to your brand account so
Don't both try not to go anything below the 35% mark again guys. It's very important
Next you want to go over the bullet points and description
This is the most crucial part of creating a listing guys
So as you can see ten minutes to create a glow go and get it meet ten minutes for the packaging design ten minutes
This is realistically two minutes if you guys know how to use an Amazon FBA calculator, but again
I put ten minutes if you just need to kind of go over and figure out how Amazon FBA calculator works
But as you guys can see it takes an hour to create the bullets and description guys
This is very important you want to make sure that your title your bullet points your description has all those
broad keywords that people would search for to find your
Listing because that's ultimately what you're gonna start getting rank for with your back end keyword so you wanna me sure
that you spend enough time making sure there is no grammar mistakes that your
Bullet points and description truly describes the product that you're selling so make sure you spend the one hour here
Key words to look for again. There are a variety of
Keyword tools that I use so if you are new to this channel make sure you check out my other videos
I go through all of these in detail so I have a ton of great
Great videos that goes over this so make sure you will use a keyword tool to find those keywords plug it into your back end
Keywords as well make sure you have it on your actual listing
So the total time taken to create a listing as you guys can see is two hours
Not bad not bad at all so two hours. You guys create a listing again once your listing is done
You want to go back to your Amazon seller central account and create a shipping plan?
So what basically is shipping plan is you guys want to go and tell Amazon that you're sending X?
mini unit again X could be a hundred units of a
product and
Amazon ant will ask you what where are you sending it from and
Amazon will actually tell you to which location for their warehouse to send it to it's again
It's very straightforward. You just follow a couple pages takes about 15 minutes to do
Once you have that you send it to your supplier
Most likely in China, and they'll basically put on the shipping label on the product and ship it to Amazon FBA product
Next step guys is you're launching your product
So your product has got two Amazon FBA warehouse before you guys do any advertising
Or PPC so giveaways make sure that you get those initial reviews
This is very important if you guys
Overlook this you're gonna spend a ton of money on PPC and not convert as well so try to get at least five reviews before
You spend any money on
Advertising again
I have a ton of videos and on this channel that actually goes over some ways that you can get those initial reviews even though
You know it's a new product so 30 minutes to get those reviews
You can reach out to friends family groups so again make sure to check out my other view videos on
Obtaining reviews once you have those reviews move on to the next step, which is running a giveaway. It's very simple
You can set it up on Amazon seller account so go ahead and create a coupon code again
You can use that in conjunction with jump sent or whatever other giveaway service tool that you're gonna use
Next you're gonna be creating a PPC campaign
So PPC campaign is basically done through Amazon's platform, and the reason that I put 10 minutes
Here is because initially you guys want to run an
Automatic ad the nice thing with automatic ad is it actually pulls in all the data of converting keywords
After a week you cannot pull those data out and create a manual so the reason I have 10 minutes
Here is because initially you will need only 10 minutes. It's actually even 2 minutes
If you guys have done this before, but it's very straightforward
You just go to campaign manager set an ad pick the product you want to do the automatic and Amazon does the rest for you
So the total time taken to do to launch your product for Amazon is 16 hours again
I've already put 10 this includes 10 hours of product research, which is more than enough honestly guys
I'm being super conservative with all these numbers
We've launched our product and now the whole goal for us is to manage our existing product
so what I mean by manage is first we want to go ahead and
Optimize our listing so optimizing our listing is continuously going through it making sure everything matches
If there is anything we can improve on so I put 30 minutes a month you might go and for example say hey
You know one of my bullet points, maybe it's better if I put
money-back guarantee for 30 days because Amazon already does offer that so it's a nice feature to add or whatever the case may be but
30 minutes a month I you know, I probably don't even do this for most of my products but again
I put it just because you know you never know you might be having a coffee or sipping on some tea and thinking hey
Why don't I start doing some changes to my listing seeing if it's gonna increase my sales so 30 minutes a month
optimizing PPC again guys
This is what I meant by going and pulling the data out of your automatic ad creating a manual ad again. It's straightforward
And it takes about an hour a month to just keep optimizing and making sure that it's running smoothly getting rid of the bad
converting keywords
Tracking went to restock so more your product is most likely if you follow the list that I mentioned to be
running out of stock within that one month
So you want to be able to constantly check and monitor how many units you're selling a day
And you're gonna probably be spending twenty minutes a month
Making sure that you're not running out of inventory so you have ample time to reach out to your suppliers
To reorder before you're running out of inventory so the total time that
Takes to manage your existing product is about an hour and a half a month
and
now we have a
successful product that is making us money making us profit the whole goal for us at this stage is to focus on growth and
scaling our Amazon FBA
Business what I mean by that is we want to be able to think of
New product ideas or brand expansion and what I mean by that if we're selling a product for example
Bluetooth speaker we want to kind of figure out what other items can we add to our seller central account?
That we can create a brand around and this is very important
I always suggest people that are getting started to kind of start selling random products to make high profits on
but the end goal you should always have a vision with whatever company you're starting and division and the goal with Amazon FBA is to
create and
Grow a brand account so make sure that the new products that you're adding
actually kind of relates to what other products you're already selling and
Hopefully at this point you're already
Well on your way of making that two to forty thousand a month income and you're at this point
You're only putting two hours off time actually managing your previous
Products so now with all this extra time that you guys have
while you're making that passive income coming in day over day while you're sleeping while you're enjoying time with family while you're
Vacationing or doing whatever it is that you love?
Spend some of your extra time to do more product research
so you can add more products to your Amazon FBA business skill and grow your Amazon business and make more money and
guys if you won't go over this whole
Video that I went over with you guys today
You'll see that
it's not actually that much time that you're putting in overall sure the amount of time that you're putting before your
business even begins making it sphere first sales is
actually considered free time
But you should look at it in terms of investment because unlike most jobs where you go to work 9:00 a.m.. Finish at 5:00 p.m.
Get that paycheck end of the week with Amazon you put all your time upfront
But once your product starts making sales that money becomes
Passive income and the nice part about that is you could be doing anything you want in your life. You could be enjoying
you know
Vacation you could be going outside
You could be doing a ton of things and your money is gonna be constantly
Coming and being over day and your profits are gonna start rolling in so from then. It's up to you guys to decide how?
big you want to grow your Amazon FBA account as most of you guys know I
Make about two hundred thousand a month on Amazon FBA and for me
It's more than enough the rest of the money that I make instead of just growing my Amazon
Account to say five million a year or six million a year
I'm comfortable at a point that I just want to keep growing my account
Gradually by using the extra income the extra profit to invest it into real estate as most of you guys know those are my true
- true passions so again you need to figure out. What is your end goal with Amazon?
Is it just to create a five to ten thousand profit a month?
Or is it something that you actually want to scale it and make it?
Fifty thousand and one hundred thousand and one how much time are you willing to put into it and again the time that you invest
into amazon initially might be an investment
And you might not get a huge return on investment based off it, but in the long term
You'll see that the time that you put in today
You'll be able to reap the rewards versus your nine-to-five job tenfold
If not a hundredfold so again guys. This is something that I can't stress enough. I know most people are used to
exchanging their time
the value of their time for a specific dollar amount
But I want to help you guys avoid that mentality and change that mentality into actually creating a business and using that
into creating a
multi-million dollar
Income business for yourself so Amazon FBA is the way to go guys if you are
Thinking about it still I highly suggest you start putting in some time
I don't think it's too much if you
You know for you to put away 20 hours a month just to give something new or try
It's an investment if anything you'll learn from it, but once you start seeing the money come in I bet you
And I guarantee you guys you're gonna become obsessed with it so once again guys if you are
Interested in taking your Amazon FBA to the next level I do have a course which includes me as your mentor
Walking you through every single step of the way, so I'll help you with the product make sure everything goes super smooth
