Hello everybody and welcome back to Southeast by Midwest I'm Cassie and

today we are going to be talking about the Oribe Gold Lust Repair and Restore

Shampoo and Conditioner. Now if you want to know if these are worth

their almost hundred dollar price tag, not for this size, but if you want to know

if the largest size is worth the hundred dollar price tags just keep watching.

As always here on Southeast by Midwest before we get into talking about the

products we always disclose and the disclosure for this post is that I

received these in a Birchbox I believe, I will link the blog post or the video

down below if I did, and I've been using these and I wanted to kind of review

them to let you know if I thought they were worth purchasing the bigger sizes.

So let's jump into more information about these. The first thing that I want

to touch on is the sizing for these. I did mention it in the intro that the

hundred dollar price tag is not for these larger sizes so I do want to kind of

touch base on the sizing. So these are both a 0.5 ounces. Now the

thing is is that for the actual full sizes the pricing for each is not the

same and the sizing is not the same but the samples were both the same size so

0.5 ounces is what is in my hand right now. The actual first size you can

purchase anywhere is the 1.7 ounce and that will be $17 for the shampoo and $18

for the conditioner. I do not know why the conditioner is a dollar more. The

next size up is 8.5 ounces for the shampoo and that is a $49 and for the

conditioner it is 6.8 ounces and it is $52. So for the next size up you get a

lot less for the conditioner but it costs several dollars more so I don't

understand what's going on with the pricing at all. And then the largest size

for both of them is a one liter bottle that actually has a pump and for the

shampoo that one is $154 and for the

conditioner it's $182. Now I do want to mention that if you

purchase these on Beautylish the one liters can be broken into three

payments, no credit checks. And it would be three payments for the shampoo it

would be $51.33 and for the conditioner it is $60.67

for each payment. So now let's talk about what they actually

do, starting with the shampoo. It has what is called bromelain in it, which is a

natural enzyme, and what it does is it actually... it's kind of unfocusing on me [about video].

It actually exfoliates the scalp and balances the scalps pH better than

what a regular shampoo would do. They both contain the Oribe Signature

Complex, which is a blend of flowers, and that's supposed to protect your hair

from the environment drying it out, damaging it, and fading your color. They

both also have Mediterranean Cyprus Extract, which is supposed to go into the

cuticle fortify it, nourish it, and strengthen it which you really do want

in your cuticle. And then both of them also have argan and

maracuja oils which are supposed to hydrate, add some glossiness, and on the

conditioner they'll protect from the UV rays of the Sun. They are also vegan and

cruelty, phthalate, sulfate free. Now as for the cruelty free I do want to mention

that while Oribe is currently right now cruelty free it is recently purchased by

a company who is not cruelty free so if you're one of those people who does not

want to purchase from a brand whose owner is not cruelty free as well then

you're gonna want to skip this however if you just want that specific brand

to be cruelty free or you you know don't have a problem at all cruelty free or

non cruelty free then you could give these a try. Alright now let's get into

my review. I actually loved these. So I had talked recently about one of my

favorite haircare being the Kenra Professional Hair Care. I had gotten some

for PR that I never talked about because I received it right around the time I

went to the emergency room, Travis went into the hospital, and we lost Norbert so

all that together it kind of got pushed to the back and I just

kind of haven't submitted the post even though I really should have done that.

That being said I have mentioned before that I did go and purchase the full-size

pump bottles from Ulta because I loved it so much. The only thing stopping me

from purchasing the full-size of both of these it is that $150 and

$180 price tag, that is a lot for a shampoo and conditioner

even if it is one liter but I also just recently purchased those so I have

almost half to three quarters of these big pump bottles of the Kenra

Professionals that I need to use which I used earlier before filming this so. Not

these I used the Kenra cause these are empty, these have been empty. The way that I judge whether

a shampoo and conditioner works is I judge it based on the dandruff that I

have in my scalp. So I've mentioned this before and it gets a little icky but due

to the eczema and my severe dry skin... do not do... good that's a good girl,

sorry ghost was contemplating knocking over the tripod! But anyway I judge it

based on how well it does with my eczema and my dry scalp. So I get flakes because

I have an eczema or I don't know if you would consider it psoriasis at this

point but it kind of flakes and I do get dandruff. So the way that I judge a

shampoo is if I shampoo and condition my hair in the morning and if it's there, you

know the flakes are back, by midday or that same you know later that day then

that is not a great shampoo. Depending on how long it takes and how my hair feels

will be where I judge it based off of a poor shampoo to an ok shampoo. Now if it

lasts until bedtime then I've moved it up into the good because with the level

of dandruff and flaking I have for it to have lasted that long is actually pretty

good. And if it lasts for the next day or beyond I consider it a great shampoo and

conditioner and these actually had it, I shampoo because how dry my scalp is I

shampoo like three times a week and this actually lasted till the second shampoo.

Like there was no flaking no dandruff in my strands or anything

like that all the way to the second shampoo so that was super amazing, I had

less shedding of my hair and it just overall was a great shampoo I really do

like it better than the Kenra at the moment. That being said they do now have

a dandruff line that was recently released on Beautylish that is a little

bit cheaper than this Gold Lust that I'm contemplating purchasing and kind of

partnering with my Kenra. So like shampoo on Monday with the Kenra, shampoo on

like Wednesday with the dandruff, and then shampoo on like Friday with the Kenra

again. Kind of doing something like that and then reporting back and seeing how

those do. But I absolutely love these I've noticed a huge difference in my

hair and in my scalp. I highly recommend these. So obviously you can tell that my

final thoughts on these are that if you have the money to lay down and you're

looking for a great hair care kind of product then these are for sure ones you

want to give a try or if not at least something in the Oribe line because I

think these are so expensive because of that Gold Lust in there, so you might be

able to find something in the Oribe line that's a little cheaper that you may

like as well and I do know that their dry shampoo and their texturizing spray

goes into subscription boxes like ain't nobody's business so keep your eye out

for them there as well. Hopefully you enjoyed this video and you found it

waxing of logs - An ancient method to protect wood during drying - Duration: 7:07.

Hello guys,

Today a very fast video, I'll show you a technique

ancient and now gone into disuse

used for

drying the logs,

that will serve for our various processes

and make sure they do not crack

Let's start.

For this processing, we use

Our hot gun

of the Parkside

and natural wax

now that we've melted some wax

with our spatula

here we go

to distribute it well everywhere

here is the result,

covered like this, with wax,

it should dry slowly

and therefore should avoid

make those crevices

head, which are ugly and later

they make us unwrap

a nice piece of our wood.

Now we wait for it to dry

good, and then you put it

to dry in the shade and in the cool!

10. Wall System Hanging Organizer

The best way to create storage in an incredibly

small bathroom is to use every inch of your

bathroom wall.

Use 1x4s pine wood so you will have enough space

on the shelves and 1/2" iron piping.

Hang the shelves on a simple

curtain rod with nooks. If your bathroom wall

happens to be white or gray then you might

want to choose for a 'weathered' look

by painting a gray undercoat of paint and

coating the edges with paraffin wax.

This new organizer is perfect to store towels,

toilet papers or jars full of shower caddies.

9. Look Beyond Your Space Range

Organizers don't always have to be on a

display. If you don't want to fill the entire

of your bathroom wall with furniture then

consider the back of your cabinet doors.

Attach space-saving bins on the door with nails and

keep your flat irons, blow dryers, brushes,

nail clippers and bath items there.

8.Shelving Baskets

Think out of the box! Baskets don't just

go on flat horizontal surfaces.

With a little help from nooks you can

make hanging organizers

out of baskets.

Attach two nooks on the wall

and customize the wide with handles of the

baskets and that's it!

You can hang several baskets on the wall

and use each basket to store towels,

toilet papers and bath items.

7.Floating Mason Jars

If you happen to have scraps of wooden pallets

at home, you can use them as the surface on

which your mason jars will hang to organize

your makeup tools.

Make a square board out of several pallets

and group them together with nails.

Screw hose clamps in the board

and make sure the diameter fits the size of the jar.

Place this hanging organizer on the

wall by the sink so your brushes and makeup

tools will always be within your reach.

6.Hanging Storage Case

Storage cases are capable to hoard a lot of things.

For this idea, use a clamp to hold

everything together while attaching it with

1.25" pocket hole screws.

Add the top and bottom braces to attach the cabinet

to the wall.

Add ¾" pocket holes to each piece

and fill each pocket with wood filler.

Use a scrapper to flatten it out.

Stain the wood in Dark Walnut or any other color stain.

Attach the cabinet to the wall using a stud finder

to find the studs in the wall and mark on the frame

where the studs will be.

Use wood screws to go through the braces and into the

wall attaching to the stud.

Do a pre-drill before going through the brace pieces

to keep the wood from splitting.

You can also add a mirror door if you prefer!

Small Bedroom:

No 5. Consider the Back of Your Closet Door

One has to really rack their brain when thinking

of space-saving storage for a small room.

The back of your closet door should make the

cut when it comes to tiny space storage.

Hang a slim wire basket to store non-heavy stuff

like books, crafting essentials, or your knick-knacks.

Better to hang one with lots of shelves so

it can store many things.

Instead of having your desk covered in clutter,

keep your narrow items in view by storing them

in a hanging wire rack.

4.Practical Shelves

Floating storage is always a good choice for

small space storage dilemma.

Instead of crowding your bedroom

with horizontal organizers, build

a vertical one with two planks of wood boards,

make two-tiered shelf with them and Mount

them on the wall with narrow nooks

on both sides. Here, your shelves yield a storage

for lamp, clock, vases or book collection.

3.Or opt for Deep Shelves above the Headboard

If small floating shelves just won't do

for your stuff, then deep shelves above the bed

ought to do it. Consider removing some

drywall to avoid extending shelves

into the room itself and turn your room into

a mess-free haven.

Create recessed spaces between

the studs and you can opt to add

doors to enclose them or install shallow shelf insert.

2.Pretty Hangers for a Quick organization solution

If building a DIY organizer seems like too

much work but buying it is also not an option

because you're quite strapped on cash

then what you need is hooks!

Yup, hang your jackets, hats,

bags or chunky necklaces on a grouping

of interesting hooks. Attach several of them

on the wall and if they are decorative then

they will serve as wall décor as well!

No 1. Vertical Bookshelf

With only one pallet you can make four shelves

to store your book collection.

Measure the inside of the bottoms of the shelves

so that you can cut 2x4's to size and

screw them in place. Otherwise, all the books will fall

out the bottom of your nifty new shelf.

Sand them down to get rid of rough edges and corners.

You can scrape the wood with a hammer and

some nails to give some more character to it

Stain them with a brush by running it

over the surface of the shelves one at a time,

then immediately use a rag to rub in the stain.

for each payment. So now let's talk about what they actually

do, starting with the shampoo. It has what is called bromelain in it, which is a

natural enzyme, and what it does is it actually... it's kind of unfocusing on me [about video].

It actually exfoliates the scalp and balances the scalps pH better than

what a regular shampoo would do. They both contain the Oribe Signature

Complex, which is a blend of flowers, and that's supposed to protect your hair

from the environment drying it out, damaging it, and fading your color. They

both also have Mediterranean Cyprus Extract, which is supposed to go into the

cuticle fortify it, nourish it, and strengthen it which you really do want

in your cuticle. And then both of them also have argan and

maracuja oils which are supposed to hydrate, add some glossiness, and on the

conditioner they'll protect from the UV rays of the Sun. They are also vegan and

cruelty, phthalate, sulfate free. Now as for the cruelty free I do want to mention

that while Oribe is currently right now cruelty free it is recently purchased by

a company who is not cruelty free so if you're one of those people who does not

want to purchase from a brand whose owner is not cruelty free as well then

you're gonna want to skip this however if you just want that specific brand

to be cruelty free or you you know don't have a problem at all cruelty free or

non cruelty free then you could give these a try. Alright now let's get into

my review. I actually loved these. So I had talked recently about one of my

favorite haircare being the Kenra Professional Hair Care. I had gotten some

for PR that I never talked about because I received it right around the time I

went to the emergency room, Travis went into the hospital, and we lost Norbert so

all that together it kind of got pushed to the back and I just

kind of haven't submitted the post even though I really should have done that.

That being said I have mentioned before that I did go and purchase the full-size

pump bottles from Ulta because I loved it so much. The only thing stopping me

from purchasing the full-size of both of these it is that $150 and

$180 price tag, that is a lot for a shampoo and conditioner

even if it is one liter but I also just recently purchased those so I have

almost half to three quarters of these big pump bottles of the Kenra

Professionals that I need to use which I used earlier before filming this so. Not

these I used the Kenra cause these are empty, these have been empty. The way that I judge whether

a shampoo and conditioner works is I judge it based on the dandruff that I

have in my scalp. So I've mentioned this before and it gets a little icky but due

to the eczema and my severe dry skin... do not do... good that's a good girl,

sorry ghost was contemplating knocking over the tripod! But anyway I judge it

based on how well it does with my eczema and my dry scalp. So I get flakes because

I have an eczema or I don't know if you would consider it psoriasis at this

point but it kind of flakes and I do get dandruff. So the way that I judge a

shampoo is if I shampoo and condition my hair in the morning and if it's there, you

know the flakes are back, by midday or that same you know later that day then

that is not a great shampoo. Depending on how long it takes and how my hair feels

will be where I judge it based off of a poor shampoo to an ok shampoo. Now if it

lasts until bedtime then I've moved it up into the good because with the level

of dandruff and flaking I have for it to have lasted that long is actually pretty

good. And if it lasts for the next day or beyond I consider it a great shampoo and

conditioner and these actually had it, I shampoo because how dry my scalp is I

shampoo like three times a week and this actually lasted till the second shampoo.

Like there was no flaking no dandruff in my strands or anything

like that all the way to the second shampoo so that was super amazing, I had

less shedding of my hair and it just overall was a great shampoo I really do

like it better than the Kenra at the moment. That being said they do now have

a dandruff line that was recently released on Beautylish that is a little

bit cheaper than this Gold Lust that I'm contemplating purchasing and kind of

partnering with my Kenra. So like shampoo on Monday with the Kenra, shampoo on

like Wednesday with the dandruff, and then shampoo on like Friday with the Kenra

again. Kind of doing something like that and then reporting back and seeing how

those do. But I absolutely love these I've noticed a huge difference in my

hair and in my scalp. I highly recommend these. So obviously you can tell that my

final thoughts on these are that if you have the money to lay down and you're

looking for a great hair care kind of product then these are for sure ones you

want to give a try or if not at least something in the Oribe line because I

think these are so expensive because of that Gold Lust in there, so you might be

able to find something in the Oribe line that's a little cheaper that you may

like as well and I do know that their dry shampoo and their texturizing spray

goes into subscription boxes like ain't nobody's business so keep your eye out

for them there as well. Hopefully you enjoyed this video and you found it

today I decided to make a hair video about

to show you how to cute your own hair

if you have short hair, how to make a simple hair cut

and your cissors

before everythink I want to say, before you cut everything

old clothes or something you plan to put on the washing just after word

because since you gonna start

you gonna have hair everywhere and the problem is, it's itchy

I took, most of the time

a sport bra or a t-shirst like

this one, I know it gonna go to the washing just after, so it's not annoying

then, second tips,

find a good place, like the bathroom

a place easy to clean

like somewhere without a carpet on the floor

you gonna need two mirrors

this is my little installation, I will try to show you

I can see the back of my head but also the front

depending of the angle I'm taking

so you have two mirrors

When you hear your national anthem and see your flag raised high, chances are you probably

feel a swell of pride for your beloved home country.

And that's cool.

But sometimes, countries do things so boneheaded, even the greatest of patriots has to facepalm.

Here's a look at moments that embarrassed entire countries.

Switzerland's accidental invasions of Liechtenstein

The European state of Switzerland is most famous for watches, fine chocolate, and for

remaining neutral during wartime.

And it's a good thing they remain neutral, because if you ask their neighbors in Liechtenstein,

the Swiss army isn't particularly competent.

Why?

Well, over the years, the Swiss have managed to accidentally invade Liechtenstein multiple

times, including one scary incident in 1968 when they mistakenly attacked a ski resort

with live grenades.

The folks in Liechtenstein have gotten so used to it at this point that they usually

just shrug it off, like in 2007, when 170 soldiers accidentally wandered more than a

mile over the border.

A military spokesman from Liechtenstein said nobody even noticed the invasion had happened.

He told The Guardian,

"It's not like they stormed over here with attack helicopters or something."

The Great Emu War

Down in Australia they have these enormous flightless birds called Emus.

They seem cute, but back in the early 1930s, they became a real problem, as flocks of emus

were ravaging crops across the land.

So the government sent a crack army squad to track down and slaughter as many emus as

they could in what became known as the great Emu War.

Armed with machine guns and 10,000 rounds of ammunition, the 7th Heavy Battery would

seem to be more than a match for a bunch of big birds.

On November 4th, 1932, the troops ambushed a group of roughly a thousand emus.

Shockingly, it turned out that emus were almost bullet proof, resisting all but the most direct

hits.

Over the course of the action, the army didn't even manage to kill a dozen emus.

A week later, they gave up and retreated.

The officer in command, Major C.W.P.

Meredith, was in awe, saying

"If we had a military division with the bullet-carrying capacity of these birds it would face any

army in the world.

They can face machine guns with the invulnerability of tanks."

Bushu-suru

State visits are usually pretty boring affairs.

But when U.S. President George H.W. Bush visited the prime minister of Japan, Kiichi Miyazawa

on January 8th, 1992, he found an interesting way to spice things up.

During the ceremonial dinner, President Bush turned and vomited right in the Prime Minister's

lap, then fainted.

According to The Atlantic:

"The term Bushu-suru — ブッシュする, 'do a Bush' — became a joke staple of Japanese

slang."

Unsurprisingly, it means "to throw up in public."

There are better things to be remembered for, though at least it led to some funny parodies.

[Vomiting] "I don't remember eating that!"

Britain accidentally invades Spain

Move over, Switzerland, because you have company when it comes to accidentally invading the

wrong country.

You wouldn't think it would be so common, but in 2002, a heavily armed platoon of British

Royal Marines rushed the San Felipe beach in the Spanish town of La Linea during a training

exercise.

They were met by a surprised fisherman who informed them they were not, in fact, in the

British territory of Gibraltar - something they should probably have been able to deduce

considering the Rock of Gibraltar is a world famous, 1,398-foot tall-landmark.

According to the Independent, the commanding officer in charge of the mishap contacted

his superiors and informed them, "I'm afraid we've invaded Spain, but we don't think they've

noticed."

They did actually notice, but the town's mayor, Juan Carlos Juarez, was cool about it.

"They landed on our coast to confront a supposed enemy with typical commando tactics.

But we managed to hold them on the beach."

Operation Cottage

Not all embarrassing war maneuvers are funny, though.

It's mostly been forgotten now, but during World War II, Japanese forces actually occupied

a small part of Alaska, setting up a base on the Aleutian Islands.

In 1943, the combined forces of the United States and Canada launched Operation Cottage

to seize the islands back.

Landing on opposite sides of Kiska Island, they converged, intending to trap the Japanese

between them.

What they didn't know, though, was that the Japanese forces had already abandoned the

island entirely.

In the thick fog, the Americans and Canadians each mistook the other for the enemy, and

engaged in a massive battle that left 92 dead and numerous more wounded before the error

was discovered.

From falling into boiling waters to getting kidnapped by rebels in a sulphuric desert,

here are the top 10 most dangerous tourist destinations in the world!

Half Dome, Yosemite National Park Half Dome at Yosemite is popular for tourists

from all over the world, especially hikers, with an elevation of 8,842 feet and a hike

that takes 10 to 14 hours to complete.

The National Park Service website warns that you need a permit to hike up Half Dome and

that you should not hike the 14 to 16 miles if you are unprepared.

The National Park Service also states you should leave at sunrise and keep an eye on

the sun to know when to turn back.

It is extremely tough and you might struggle getting down the trail in the dark, which

is not the only hazards hidden by the Half Dome.

Half Dome is also known for rocks falling off the trail, or as many call it, death slabs.

Rocks from 5 to 15 feet thick and tons of pounds have fallen from Half Dome.

These rocks are often part of Half Dome's popular hiking trail.

The majority of the rock falls happening at Half Dome are caused by exfoliation, which

is when layers of granite, under extreme internal pressure, are pushed outwards to the point

of falling.

No matter what the reason for rocks falling, more than 20 deaths have occurred on Half

Dome itself.

If you count the deaths that have happened on the trail leading to Half Dome, the number

rises to 60.

If you are heading that way, be extra careful!

Death Road, Bolivia Yungas Road, which is more commonly known

as Death Road, in Bolivia is a popular bike path about 40 miles long.

In the mid 1990's, the Inter-American Development Bank, which is a development finance organization

for Latin America, named Death Road the "World's Most Dangerous Road."

Some of the conditions of Death Road include rock falls, no guardrails, limited visibility,

and high cliffs.

Between 200 to 300 tourists get killed on Death Road a year due to these conditions.

Rains can often cause roadways to get slippery and cause rocks to fall right onto the road

without warning.

The high cliffs with lack of guardrails can pose a danger to those who are not looking

where they are going or lose their balance while trying to look over the cliff and enjoy

the view.

Of course, the limited visibility leads to multiple crashes, even with the new paved

two-lane road, which was a switch from the unpaved one lane road that used to be the

trail.

However, there are still parts of the trail which are narrower and unpaved so PAY ATTENTION!

Cliffs of Moher, Ireland Every year the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland

is visited by about one million people.

The highest cliffs reach 702 feet with the lowest at 390 feet, all dropping directly

into the Atlantic Ocean.

The cliffs are also prone to high winds and other bad weather, which can change quickly,

easily knocking someone off balance or causing rock falls.

This is one reason there are warning signs all around the cliffs, which warn people of

landslides that have happened, causing unstable edges and other dangers.

In fact, the Cliffs of Moher twitter page has also warned visitors to stay on the official

path and not get to close to the edges due to landslides.

Or if someone wants to conveniently get rid of you and push you off….Other warning signs

state that visitors are not supposed to go beyond the point of the sign or off the main

trail as doing so would put you in danger.

There have been so many deaths at the Cliffs of Moher that there is a memorial marker which

states, "In memory of those who have lost their lives at the Cliffs of Moher."

Mount Everest The past few years, Mount Everest has been

in the news confirming the deaths of climbers' due to avalanches.

However, Mount Everest remains a top tourist destination spot and has a problem with an

overcrowd of climbers.

Because of the drastic changes in weather on Mount Everest, which peaks at over 29,000

feet, your body can go through a lot within a short amount of time.

High altitude can cause a sickness, which is often acute and starts to hit at about

8,000 feet.

Acute Mountain Sickness, as it is often called, shows up in headaches, extreme fatigue, and

dizziness.

However, the further you go, the more severe your symptoms of Acute Mountain Sickness are.

Once a climber is above 12,000 feet, the high altitude decreases oxygen, which causes shortness

of breath and can lead to many other health concerns, such as coughing up blood and loss

of consciousness.

New Smyrna Beach, Florida New Smyrna Beach in Florida is known as the

shark capital of the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

To date, there have been about 238 shark attacks.

The popular surfing spot is also near an inlet that is a great hunting ground for sharks.

In fact, there have been so many shark attacks, that New Smyrna Beach now has signs up that

read "dangerous marine life."

These signs refer to sharks in the water, however this does not deter people from continuing

to swim in the waters.

Statistically, Florida is the most likely place in the world for you to get bitten by

a shark.

Fun fact, lightning strikes on Florida beaches can be similarly deadly.

Kilauea Volcano, Hawaii Even though most people understand the dangers

of active volcanoes, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park reports that over 100,000 tourists visit

the areas of active volcanoes every year.

Kilauea is one of Hawaii's most popular active volcanoes and is famous for its flowing

rivers of lava, which is why the volcano has been called the "gentle" volcano.

While a flowing river of lava might be a great tourist attraction, lava can also be hazardous

to your health.

But you don't need me to tell you that!

The lava releases toxic gasses, such as carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide.

Carbon dioxide can lead to health issues such as rapid heart rate and difficulty breathing.

Sulfur dioxide can irritate the eyes, skin, and respiratory systems.

There is also the risk of volcanic laze, which is when the lava from the volcano enter waters,

causing the water to boil.

These chemical reactions combine and produce a white mist-like cloud called a laze.

Lazes can drop water on to people that is known to be more acidic than lemon juice and

causes irritation in the lungs and on the skin.

Just be careful around all volcanoes!!

Grand Canyon National Park Grand Canyon National Park is about 1,214,400

acres and had over 5 million tourists in 2016.

Rangers at the Grand Canyon perform more rescues than any other park.

The West Rim of the Grand Canyon has several areas where a visitor can walk up the edge

of the cliff due to lack of railings.

Actually many parts do not have railings.

While it is definitely an amazing view, it is also easy to lose your balance due to strong

winds, vertigo, and fall over.

The North Rim poses its own dangers, especially for people who have respiratory issues as

this rim is over 8,000 feet, which can cause altitude sickness like I mentioned before.

Not pleasant.

The weather can be hot, with temperatures reaching over 100 degrees, which causes health

concerns such as heat stroke and dehydration, especially if you do not bring enough water.

The Grand Canyon is also home to the Bright Angel Trail, which is one of the most dangerous

hiking trails in America.

Because of the high altitude of Bright Angel Trail, which is over 4,000 feet, the weather

can change suddenly from extreme heat to cold to severe storms.

With severe storms, there is a high chance of getting struck by lightning or getting

caught in other storm dangers.

The Colorado River is a whole other set of risks.

Not only have many people drowned in the Colorado River but even when the weather is extremely

hot, the water can be freezing and give you hypothermia.

Wildlife can also cause a danger to tourists at the Grand Canyon.

The National Park Service website warns that the wildlife is not like visiting a zoo, and

you should stay away from various forms of wildlife like mountain lions.

Mont Blanc, Chamonix Mont Blanc is known as one of the tallest

mountains in Europe, reaching a height over 15,000 feet.

Mont Blanc is also said to be a fairly easy mountain to climb, even with all the risks

involved.

One of the risks is the overcrowding of climbers, especially during the busy season of the summer

months.

Overcrowding can lead to competition with footing, which when you already have narrow

areas to place your feet, it can quickly become dangerous as one group tries to pass another.

Avalanches are another risk on the mountain.

Mont Blanc is known for rapid weather changes from wind to hot weather to freezing temperatures.

When the weather gets warm, it can affect the snow, causing a snowpack to slide.

Then if the weather gets too cold, climbers have an increased risk for frostbite and hypothermia.

Plus, there is also the risk of slipping and falling on ice, which may sound silly but

plenty of people have gone home with broken arms and legs from a hard fall.

Boiling Lake, Dominica Boiling Lake has a specific cautionary message

to tourists from the Dominican Government, which states, DO NOT go swimming in the lake!

You'd think with a name like that, a sign wouldn't be necessary.

Boiling Lake is basically a flooded fumarole, which is an opening in the earth's crust

about 6 miles long, found in areas surrounded by volcanoes.

Boiling Lake is a volcano-hydrothermal lake which has seen a drop in the water level,

along with cooler temperatures, but it is still too hot for swimming.

Unless you want to risk getting boiled alive!

Temperatures can reach about 180 degrees Fahrenheit closer to the center, though the waters are

a bit cooler along the edges.

True to its name, the waters can often be seen boiling, that is if the steam from the

water isn't too thick to see the lake.

Furthermore, deadly gasses such as carbon dioxide are released from the depths of the

lake.

And then there is the hiking trail leading to the Boiling Lake, which is often slippery

and muddy due to rain and can be dangerous while hiking.

Danakil Desert, Ethiopia The Danakil Desert was named to be one of

the cruelest places on earth by National Geographic, however, this is still a place where people

want to go.

While the Danakil Desert is known for its unique landscapes, it is also home to some

of the hottest temperatures and frequent earthquakes.

The landscape of the Danakil Desert features yellow sulfur fields, blindingly white salt

beds, and green and blue hydrothermal water ponds.

Because the Danakil Desert is basically a volcanic wasteland, in which the land has

melted underfoot, there is a threat of dangerous gases you might breathe in too, while you

are trying to avoid the sulfur fields.

The Danakil Desert also includes an area with an active volcano.

Beside all of these things, the biggest concern is there is also a risk of getting kidnapped.

In fact, Foreign offices will advise you never to visit this desert, because of a border

conflict with Eritrea, which is why a tourist might get more than they bargained for.

How To Use Motivation Waves To Build Better Habits? - Duration: 3:08.

- Motivation for me, like I think for most people,

comes in waves.

So there's certain times of days,

and there's certain days or even week long periods

where I feel extremely motivated, ready to get work done,

ready to crush everything that comes my way,

but then there's also times

where I feel extremely bummed out

or extremely tired, and just wanna lay in bed.

So how do you get work done when you're losing motivation?

The answer for me came from B.J. Fogg,

he a psychologist at Stanford,

and specifically this video from Ramit & B.J.,

I found this a couple of years ago,

and it influenced the way that I get all work done.

In this video, Professor B.J. Fogg talks about motivation,

and he says that when you feel motivated,

rather than going out and working,

which is exactly what you wanna do.

You should instead create a system

so that when you feel less motivated,

you'll continue to work.

What does that mean?

Well I'll tell you in two stories.

One is the way that we hire people at Experiment 27.

Me and Robert have both dealt with bad hires in the past,

and I've talked about it in a lot of videos

where you hire somebody and they just don't work out.

Sometimes you don't know they're

not gonna work out for a few months,

and it's super annoying when you have to fire somebody.

Or you find out that they lost you a lot of money,

like Eric Sue talked about in the bad hires video.

So when I figured out we were getting a lot of bad hires,

I could have used that motivation to

one by one, started hiring people,

doing a lot of phone interviews, and making offers.

But instead we followed B.J. Fogg's advice,

and we created a system around hiring.

Now when we hire somebody, we give them a test first,

that's paid, for the first week or two.

And a second test where they work with us

for a little over a month with a reduced monthly payment

before getting an offer letter and signing

on as a member of our team.

That system is what I created with the motivation

rather than outreach or doing labor.

Because once you have a good enough system,

the labor does itself.

I use a similar system for YouTube videos.

I plan YouTube videos by sending myself

emails throughout the week,

and then try to batch the content in a day or two,

before sending it off to Ruben to edit the video.

That's the exact opposite of the system we had before

where I would film a video and release it that same day.

If you watched videos on this channel

from two or three years ago,

you'll see there's a lot of content

where I look extremely tired, extremely run down,

have a beard, my hair's messed up,

and that's because I was creating content every single day.

Which forced me to get into that mode

of making videos every single day,

and the quality of content suffered.

Still feeling motivated, the system became

write the content throughout the week,

batch filming on one or two days,

then hire a video editor.

to edit the content to a form that's usable.

President Moon orders gov't to submit constitutional revision bill next Monday - Duration: 2:18.

Turning to the latest in efforts to revise the nation's constitution.

President Moon Jae-in plans to submit his own bill for the ammendment to Parliament

before next Monday.

The Liberal leader highlighted...

March 26th is the absolute deadline for any such proposals.

Hwang Hojun shares with us his remarks.

Less than a week after President Moon was briefed on the outline of the government's

own bill on constitutional revision, the Blue House delivered its ultimatum to the Parliament

Monday morning.

"The President has instructed the Blue House to prepare the government bill for submission

on March 26,"

According to a Blue House official, the 26th is the absolute latest that a bill for the

constitutional amendment can be proposed.

Whether made by the Blue House or the National Assembly, the bill must go through parliamentary

voting within 60 days from the day the motion was made.

Also, people must be notified of a referendum at least 18 days prior to the actual voting

day.

President Moon has been adamant that a proposal for a constitutional change must be made,

either by the government or the parliament, by the end of March, so that a referendum

on the amendment can be held at the same time as the local elections in June.

Otherwise, it could result in more than 110 million U.S. dollars in extra costs.

The Blue House confirmed the move is intended to comply with the procedures and terms set

by the Constitution and the Korean law while giving the National Assembly a last chance

to agree on a constitutional amendment and come up with is own proposal.

"President Moon again said he will respect the agreement made at the National Assembly,

and asked parliament to quickly discuss and reach an agreement on its own bill."

And to help people's understanding of the bill proposed by the government, President

Moon ordered his aides to disclose the contents of the revision proposal over three days -

the Preamble to the Constitution and matters related to basic rights on Tuesday, decentralization

and popular sovereignty on Wednesday, and rights and privileges of constitutional institutions,

including the form of government on Thursday.

The deadline of March 26th means the government's proposal will be made while President Moon

is visiting Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates,... where he'll be from the 22nd to the 28th of

this month.

N. Korean leader 'gave his word' of commitment to denuclearize: S. Korean FM - Duration: 1:56.

Korea will continue talking with the regime for a move forward.

The North Korean leader, for the first time, has 'given his word' of commitment to denuclearize,...

and for South Korea,... it's not a matter of whether to trust it,... but to keep on

talking with the regime.

That's according to South Korea's foreign minister Kang Kyung-wha... who was speaking

in an interview with U.S. broadcaster CBS.

With the third historic inter-Korean summit talks slated for next month,... Seoul's top

diplomat stressed that...

South Korea will aim to have denuclearization on the table.

And when asked which conditions Pyongyang has to meet before the talks,... Kang answered

that the regime already has met the conditions.

Seoul has called on Pyongyang to show a clear indication of will to denuclearize,... and

Kim Jong-un has given his word.

Kang said it's the first time such words came directly from the North Korean leader... and

therefore, is very valuable.

Asked whether Seoul trusts Kim Jong-un,...

Minister Kang answered... it's not a matter of trust, but just discussing and pressing

for action.

She added that...

Seoul and Washington are not offering Pyongyang any reward for the negotiations.

The interview also covered U.S. President Trump's recent comment... that hinted American

troops could be pulled out from South Korea... if trade negotiations don't work out.

Kang said...

President Trump's mention of 'troops' raises eyebrows every time... and that South Korea

takes the remarks seriously... but stressed that Seoul has a firm belief

in Washington's commitment to the alliance and military presence.

Kang added... the South Korea-U.S. alliance has been at the base of peace and security

on the Korean Peninsula... as well as in Northeast Asia.
