Youtube daily report Mar 19 2018

Good afternoon!

I have decided to open a new section of short videos

with the Appendix to the videos of InterStellar Mediator.

I have decided to do it following an advice to do it

of someone who I respect a lot and who is related to the project.

After each video of InterStellar Mediator,

which I hope will continue and which I hope I will be able to keep sharing with you, as the information is valuable,

after each video I will concentrate on some points which I find important to expand on a bit more,

and which impact me personally.

And perhaps this personal reflection will serve you.

First I want to give my appreciation to the InterStellar Mediator

for letting me publish these videos

and for letting me participate in this journey of exploration of knowledge.

I have to say that I respect and value a lot a project which she has been developing.

And the information which she shares with us.

Even though to some of you it might seem that

it is a slow process.

But we must remember that

some types of information, and some concepts,

must reach beyond our mind.

The idea here is not only to present the information, details, the concrete data,

which could appease our intellectual and mental curiosity,

but it is also a frequency work.

She is planting certain metaphysical concepts,

some which are not yet known to the inhabitants of this planet,

and she is doing it in a subtle manner,

inasmuch as we might not even be aware of them

if we dont concentrate to feel them with our senses that exist beyond the purely mental ones.

I also want to give her thanks for these videos even though she has a lot of work.

Because to make videos is not the only thing she has been dedicating to.

It is not her main focus.

She has been developing a lot of things in the background,

of which we cannot know directly,

but I hope that at some point in the future we will be able to access what she has been trying to construct.

So..let´s have patience, appreciation, and the heart...

when we listen to the messages that she shares with us.

Linear Time.

First I want to mention linear time.

A concept of which she mentioned in the beginning of her video,

a concept which is not a reality and has been developed by, as she calls them, the Controllers of the planet.

In order to maintain us in this Matrix more.

And perhaps it is something a little bit difficult to capture

because while we are here on this plane

we can experience the existence of time very directly.

The time passes by.

Its 1 o´clock, and then we have 3.

We are 10 years old, and then suddenly we are 30, very fast.

So how come the time doesn´t exist?

How is it possible that it is NOT a reality?

It is something pretty difficult to capture but

with my other senses I feel that it is this way.

The manner in which we live,

according to structures of time, according to the clock,

according to this precise mechanism of schedules, for example,

is something artificial and something that limits us

and produces the sensation of being trapped within a concept and within a construction that is false.

At least I feel this way.

Every time I am at work, where I have schedules and need to live according to them,

and always have to look at my watch,

like for example now I have time until 4 and I can do certain things,

later a certain activity lasts till 8,

I feel as if my frequency is limited.

I feel as if the total range of my frequency is trapped by this concept.

It is as if I exist on some other plane

where this concept does not exist.

So myself from that other plane does not feel liberated and

as if I cannot access that plane of absolute totality due to this concept of linear time,

which is here in this dimension, enforced upon us.

And it is this that she talked about in the video.

That due to this structure of linear time

we cannot liberate ourselves to the total Illumination,

and we cannot access the totality of our being.

And its what I feel too.

I really hate living and working according to schedules.

I would like to liberate myself already in some way from my job,

which, on the one hand, doesn´t bother me,

I work as an English teacher in Barcelona,

and I enjoy it in some ways,

but what bothers me and causes the identity conflict,

of different planes of consciousness,

is this necessity, the obligation of living with the schedules.

I hate that.

I am not sure what solution exactly we can apply here,

but at least look for the moments, situations, experiences,

that can help us get out of the concept of time.

Where we can enter the ¨space¨ which is outside of time and space.

And where we can feel completely free of these concepts.

They are not our nature, and not our essence.

Where our essence dwells, there is no time, and there are no schedules.

And it is where our authenticity and our being is.

Are we the Location of Frequency?

Another very important concept which captured my attention

is a concept of consciousness and of what we really are,

outside our physical body.

We all know already that we are not physical bodies,

at least all of us that have been following these subjects.

But here there are some points that got my attention

which coincide with some of my own revelations too.

We already know that we are not our body.

That we are not these arms, that we are not this head, that we are not these legs,

that all this does not belong to us in any way.

Or to our absolute state of being.

So are we a spiritual being?

Soul?

Consciousness?

Who are we really?

What is this perception of I right now?

This awareness?

Could it be that we are the location of the frequency?

Simply the location of consciousness?

Let me explain.

More or less a year ago I had a meditation experience which was quite curious.

I found myself in some kind of a,....superior state, I am not sure if that is the right word...

in a state which was much beyond my normal corporal perception.

In a state of pure consciousness, we could call it this way.

And I asked myself:

If I am there, in the state of that field of consciousness,

why is it that normally I am only conscious of this point of observation of me here, of Gosia?

Why is my frequency, this awareness..which is the absolute quantic field,

only aware of one point, a point of Gosia, right now?

Where does the concentration of the awareness to only this one point come from right now?

Why am I not aware of the person over here?

Why is my consciousness, if it encompasses all the consciousnesses, because we are one,

not aware over there, at some other point?

Why am I not aware of my dog?

Why am I not aware inside of the plant body?

Why only here? Why am I limited here?

And in that meditation I realized, I had a sensation,

that that consciousness where I found myself, in that superior state,

I could really emit myself and my frequency, change the location of my perception

to any place I wanted at that moment.

It was as if I could broadcast myself, broadcast my own frequency to another being,

occupy the space and the reality of that being,

and perceive myself from within the reality of that being.

Perceiving myself as that being.

So in theory I could transmit myself, like a radio signal,

I could transmit my signal to the field of existence of another person

and be that other person.

It was a very strange experience.

I didn´t do it really,

I did not transmit myself inside any other person,

but I felt strongly that I was like a radio signal.

Frequency location.

And I could do it if I really wanted to.

But I didn´t do it,

I just arrived at this realization.

So I think it is this that the InterStellar Mediator was talking about

when she shared that at first...it was like she left her body,

and she fused with the awareness of the stingray

in that precious sea.

In the video, the Mediator said that

she left her body and realized that she was living molecules in the process of transformation of its state.

And she fused with the conciousness field of the stingray.

She was able to move herself and become the reality that she occupied.

She was not only its body

but also its mind and its way of thinking and feeling.

Was she a stingray at that moment then?

She was not a human being any more?

She transformed from one state to another?

Or maybe she changed her location?

What does it say about who we are?

And about how the consciousness works?

Are we the reality where our consciousness is situated in a given moment?

Are we the beings where the concentration point of our consciousness is situated?

Or are we the consciousness which is capable of changing its location?

Changing a range of its transmission,

existing outside the body?

And if we are the latter,

why then so much identification with the temporal vehicle that we are occupying right now, as if it was THAT that we are?

We are not.

So if we are able to think, observe, feel, outside our physical body,

it is because we are not linked, or dependent of this physical body, in any way.

We exist beyond the physical field

and our consciousness, the frequency of that consciousness,

can change its location and can change the transmission of the perception,

using various universal networks of which for sure we are not aware at this point.

But they exist for sure.

Using some quantic networks of which we have no idea.

So what does it say about what we are really?

For me this goes beyond a fact of just being a soul,

or some spiritual entity, limited to space, time, ... to some sort of a field.

Consciousness is like a radio transmission.

It can change its position

and occupy a certain reality, and make us feel as if we are that reality,

while in fact we are the transmission.

What I am talking about here is something pretty metaphysical I think...

and I don´t know if all of you will see it in the same way,

but the sure thing is that we are not physical bodies,

and we exist far beyond this physical plane.

And I think that this realization can give our life more meaning.

Even though it might seem that it is the opposite.

That if we are the transmission and we are not a physical life,

so what sense does the physical life make?

But at least for me, its on the contrary.

This gives me more joy,

more purpose,

I don´t take it so seriously,

so for me it is a beneficial and positive revelation.

And it gives me a lot of excitement

to be looking forward to more adventures to be presented beyond this current life.

Well....lets go for the adventure.

This is not the end.

This is not everything.

Although it is of value, and we are here on purpose.

Let´s not despise this physical life,

it too serves an important purpose, and we are here deliberately.

The consciousness is transmitting itself here on purpose.

All is in order.

Although it doesn´t always seem this way.

Well, on that note I will say goodbye,

I talked enough,

see you in the next video.

Thank you all,

thank you to all the subscribers,

to all of you who make comments,

we continue.

See you next time... Bye.

Thank you to the InterStellar Mediator for the inspiration.

How I Edit [CC] - Duration: 14:05.

Hi everybody, my name is Julie. Welcome back to Pages and Pens. Today I am here

to talk to you about my editing process. You guys had voted on a poll in one of

my prior videos and you said that you would be interested in seeing writing

and editing vlogs as well as how I write and how I edit, So today's video is on

how I edit even though currently I am like hiding from my edits. I am working

on book 2 right now and I'm just really feeling the writing flow as opposed to

the editing one, because frankly the writing of the first draft is so much

easier than the editing of the first draft. I am intimidated by the editing

and that makes it really difficult for me to sit down and focus on it which is

a problem. So I am going to be setting some goals for myself of pages and time

spent per day on editing, so I wanted to just talk to you guys about where I am

in my editing process and the editing journey and what it's been like for me

so far.

I'm gonna kind of take you from when I stopped writing the book to where I am

right now and where I kind of see myself going in the future just so you guys

have an idea of what's worked for me and what hasn't worked for me. I'm very very

lucky in that when I stopped the writing process I have for the most part a

technically sound first edit. Grammatically it's pretty good. A lot of

my edits come by way of plot holes, character holes, things like that. Things

that I need to expand, contract if I got too wordy in certain areas, also just

kind of the mechanics of different sentence structures and scene structures.

I have been so used to writing flash fiction where I cram everything into

like this really really tiny scene that when I go broader I tend to get wordier

and not necessarily pack a punch in each scene the way that I want to. So

that's been a lot of what my edits are right now. Let me show you first how I

started off. So this is the binder of my first draft of Dawn till Dusk.

This was unnamed at the time I started but this is my full manuscript of my

first edit. What you're gonna see in here are a whole bunch of colored tabs, these

were courtesy of Amber from Amber's Books and More, who I will link down

below, and she and I got together into a whole editors/writers weekend where we

peer edited one another's work. We did different tabs- so yellow were for

plot holes, purple were for character questions, orange for general notes, blue

was for over or under description (needing more needing less), and then we

made notes in there. There's also just plenty of times where we just had

questions for one another. So that's what all of these colored tabs are for. That

worked really really well for both of us, I think. And having somebody to live peer

edit with was phenomenal. I got to sit across from her while I got her first

reactions to my story, where she laughed, where she gasped, where she had to stop

and put it down and be like "where is this story going where is this

particular plot line going I need to know". It was so gratifying and so

nerve-wracking all at once. It was terrifying and thrilling and amazing and

I loved going through hers she loved going through mine. That was the first

round of edits, was peer edits. And then that only went

to a certain point. So the end of this from this like purple tab on so from

like here on this part, I wrote after we met up so nobody has peer edited

that particular portion. Although I have emailed it to her and she hasn't gotten

back to me yet. So, Amber if you're watching this, girl were you at? After

that process, after I got everything back from her, what I did was I read through

that same weekend all of her notes and I made grammatical changes immediately.

I sat down with this giant notebook and Scrivener open, which is what I write and

I write in Scrivener, which will be in a whole other section, a whole other video

about how I write. But I had this book and Scrivener out together and I went

page by page and paragraph by paragraph and I took her notes where she thought

something was repetitive, where there was spacing issues grammar issues, whatever

there might be. Wherever I could fix something really quickly I went through

and I fixed it really quickly and I did that for the whole round of edits. And

then I put pink little tabs up here at the top, the pink ones up here were for

areas where I felt like I had to spend more time either fixing a plot, fixing a

character, adding things things to the story, taking things away that were

gonna take longer than just like a quick run-through. So those got a separate tab

that I had to look at at a later date. So that was the first round peer edits,

first round technical edits into the computer. Then what I did was I finished

writing the book. I felt like I had a much clearer idea of where I was going

for the end and I moved forward with the end of the book. Once everything was done

I printed everything out and for the first time I sat down and I read my book

front to back. Going through her first round of edits I

was really just looking at technical stuff I wasn't rereading my work. So I

sat down with a different colored pen than Amber used and I did a first

read-through start to finish of my book. Which was amazing and terrifying and

beautiful and like phenomenal all at once, but I wasn't reading just to read, I

was also reading to make my own notes and my own grammar changes and my own

thoughts about where I wanted to expand and contract and tighten. I was doing

my own essential peer edits for this book. That's

what we could call like round three. So I've gone peer edit, put the technical

edits into the computer, I finished the book, I've read through it and I put all

of the edits into the book. So right now I'm on page 46, which is not that far

into this giant chunk this is where I've gotten to

going through the edits that I did on my full read through and putting them into

the computer. Because a lot of these are no longer gramma,r a lot of these are

fixing things, adding chapters, taking away chapters, changing POVs of chapters.

A lot of work goes into this particular round of edits. It feels daunting. Really

really daunting, because in my head I feel like at the end of this round of

edits I need to have a draft that's ready to go out for beta readers when in

fact I'll probably print it back out again read through it again make

whatever crucial changes I need to make and then send it to beta readers. The

process is really really long. Here's what I have decided in general because

this has been a very very long time. I finished this book in December and I

have not really done very much with it since then, so it's been two full months

I haven't done very much. Granted I'm at like 37 thousand words on book two, so

I'm like moving through with book two. I took a big break from doing anything

with either of the stories right after I got done with it and I think that was

very healthy. I think that was what I was I needed to do. I needed to kind of put it

down. Where I'm at right now with edits is I'm going to go through, I want to

spend at least an hour a day. It's very hard to set page goal numbers for these

edits because a lot of them you know I might get five pages done but I might

write 7,000 words because I needed to add a scene, or I need to remove a scene

so my work, if I do it by word count, my work count goes down dramatically even

though I did hours of work because I was tightening and changing things. I'm going

to dedicate an hour a day to editing book one. Right now that's what I can

kind of give when I can give more I will. I want to spend an hour editing book

one and an hour writing book two, every single day. Hopefully I can do more than

that for editing. My writing tends to happen 8 p.m. and after my editing can

really happen any time during the day. Goal is to do some hardcore editing. I

want to make all the changes that I had in my first read-through of the full

entire novel, and then I want to go back through and

print it again. Which is going to be pricey, and then on the second draft of

edits I will do scene tightening, sentence tightening, get rid of words

that don't need to exist in sentences. A lot of that is so so technical and I

really want to focus on the plot and the characters in this particular round of edits.

It's making sure the character relationships make sense, making sure

that everybody is vibing and gelling and that the story is has a solid foundation

in both world setting and characters building. So that's what I want this

round of edits to be and then the next round of edits will be each sentence and

picking it apart and how to perfect each particular sentence and each particular

scene to make it as impactful as some of my short stories. And I look at my short

story reviews or you guys talk to me about the short story collection that I

put out and the flash fiction that I put out, is that they're so hard-hitting in

such a short span of time. I feel like a lot of that is lacking and not

every scene in this book can be like that because it is a full novel, but some

of the scenes need to be more that. Bones for the rest of the series- that's what I

need to focus on and grammar and then the second round of edits is going to be

tightening each sentence and tightening each scene. Then I'm gonna send it

out to beta readers. That's my goal right now. In the future I need to be a

lot gentler with myself. I feel like grammar is its own series of edits. You go through and you grammar. Another one maybe you read through and you read

through for timeline continuity, another one you read through and it's for

characters, another one you read through and it's for plot tightness and plot

progression. I have gotten myself into the mindset that I can only do this

first round of edits and then I need to send it out into the world, and that's

just not true. I have a lot of different aspects of the editing process in this

one first round. My notes to you would be if you're doing a round of edits, or if

I've edited your book and you're looking at them and it's so daunting, I get it I

totally do- take it bit by bit. Maybe break down the

notes that you're getting back from somebody and do all the grammar first

and then do all the character and then do the plot after that. Doing it all at

once is very overwhelming and even I who am a professional editor, who has written

before and published a book before, tightened a whole collection and tried

to make sure that there's a thread that drove that collection, like I'm not a

stranger to editing and I'm not a stranger to trying to cohesively put a

story together, this is a lot. It feels very overwhelming. I've kind of

taken notes from what I feel works best for me,

what I feel like is going to be most manageable, and also from some of the

other authors that I look at on Instagram and their instastories and how

they go through their editing process. I was watching Tomi Adeyemi who wrote

The Children of Blood and Bone and she was saying that her first draft is a hot

mess, and that 90% of her first draft you'll never see in the finish book, and

that there's like a dozen edits after that. I was like oh my goodness, I put

so much pressure on myself to make sure the first draft is perfect and it's just

not going to be, like ever. I think that a lot of that is me getting used to

writing a full-length novel and then going into the edits realistically in a

breakdown that makes sense. It's not impossible. It's overwhelming, but it's

not impossible. And writing an imperfect first draft is always easier than fixing

a first draft, especially when I'm a really really

tough critic of myself so I feel like there's so much work that needs to be

done. But at some point I'm going to have to trust this over to other people. It's

a long process, I mean you guys are so pumped and every video that comes

out about these books you guys get really really into it, and I love that

but the process is really long when it comes to this. Because I don't

have a team behind me. I don't have quote-unquote corporate deadlines and I

don't have a team of people that are editing it for me and then giving me

their thoughts and I just have to go in and like make quick corrections. A lot of

this is on my own. Ridiculous amounts of thanks to Amber because that first round

of edits were so vital to get somebody's feedback on the story and on the

characters. That was really really key to me and I am so thankful that she was

there to do that. That is where I'm at with my editing as of right now. That's

where I'm going forward, so going forward is gonna be setting goals for every

single day, getting through my first this this first round of my own edits, and

then probably doing another reprint and reading through for continuity and then

sentence structure and scene structure and then hopefully some beta readers.

Which is really really really exciting. I am very hard at work, guys, here at all

times you guys know that if you follow me on my Instastories. I'm always doing something, I always have a goal. I always have something that is driving me to

the next accomplishment. So that's where I'm at with my editing process. That's

what it's looked like for me personally. It looks different for everybody, but

that's what it's looked like for me and what's working for me right now. And then

we're gonna see how things go forward in terms of what works for me in the future.

And I will probably be doing editing vlogs and writing vlogs after I do these

like "how I" videos. I'll probably put up some vlogs so that you guys can watch

these, understand what I'm going to be doing, and then enjoy the vlogs on a

different level. I hope you guys have enjoyed this. I hope it's been

interesting to you. I hope it's given you some tips or tricks for editing. If you

have any to give to me, please give them to me. I would love to know them.

That's it for right now. If you want to check out Quills and Keys

Dr. Pillai's New York Seminar: Start Over, You Can Make A Fresh Start - Duration: 4:27.

What am I going to do at the New York seminar?

Start all over.

We gotta start all over.

It's a new beginning.

It's the new year, and the Sun is in Aries.

It means a lot and especially doing the seminar in New York is very important because we go

to New York.

Most people can change their life because the name New York itself is not just arbitrary,

but it can change people's life.

New York!

And what are we going to do for that?

We are going to change our Brain, then change our Mind.

Only when we change our thought process, we can change our life.

Everything is dependent on the Mind which is dependent on the Brain.

Why does a man or a woman choose a low paying job?

Who is responsible?

He may come up with a million reasons: "I'm old.

I'm Black.

I'm White.

I'm Hispanic or whatever."

But that's not a reason.

The real reason is — you had a thought, a conviction of who you are; and that led

to this degraded situation.

So, what you have to do is just change your thought process, change your Brain, change

how it functions.

And how can you do that?

The new teaching that I am going to do is based on the science that I have been developing

for the Science of Phonemic Intelligence.

Certain phonemes can change your thoughts.

I have done some preliminary research at Harvard [University] which says that the phonemes

can alter, can go and activate certain areas of the Brain that are key areas for our life,

for our decision-making.

These phonemes can do miracles.

These Sounds can do miracles.

I'm going to teach you those on this day, how that by using repeatedly a bunch of phonemes

strung together, then you will see, you will have a different Mindset.

The way it happens is — it starts with the Brain first.

And how does the Brain change?

The Brain changes because of the Sounds.

This is the finding of the ancient mystics.

And one set of phonemes that I will give that will change your mindset, your identity with

your education.

You are not the vocation.

You are not the job.

You are not the skin, [not] how you look.

You are God.

That is the real identity.

And that can be manipulated in a positive way and create a new identity.

Start all over.

You get a new beginning.

And your success is my success too.

So I look forward to that.

So that together we will create a new world where there is no pain, [where] there is no

suffering, but only joy.

And that's what God wants us to do.

I look forward to it.

I want to personally invite you to this workshop.

God Bless.

TRYING INFOMERCIAL MAKEUP CLAIMS TO COVER IT ALL ! SWEAT PROOF MAKEUP | Bailey Sarian - Duration: 7:45.

what wait what what is this Oh No

Hi guys how are you today? My name is Bailey Sarian

and if you know me which a lot of you don't but if you did know me

you would know my ass does not sleep okay I have the worst sleep schedule

insomnia but not really just have anxiety so I stay up until like 3:00

4:00 or 5:00 in the morning sometimes all night it just depends on the day

one night I was just laying on the couch downstairs mind my own

business and then this infomercial comes on, "ready

for the miracle camouflage make-up that covers it all serious or small" yes tell

me more " put it over my birthmark. it's so easy

and so natural-looking no one knows it's there Smart Cover has really changed my

life everyone needs this!" So naturally I had to get it. I ordered this on the

8th it came in on the 16th. it was actually pretty quick I was expecting it

to be a little bit longer. On their website I went to the section that said

specials and under specials they had different kits you could buy. I believe

the one they were promoting on the commercial was 19.95 it was a basic

kit but then I saw this one and this one is called the Hollywood makeup artist

kit further reading into it I saw that their

spokesperson was Christina Smith now if you don't know who Christina Smith is

let me just tell you really quick. She's a makeup artist who works in the industry

but she's worked on iconic faces Liza Minnelli, Elizabeth Taylor, Viola Davis

Jamie Lee Curtis, the list goes on. She's freaking worked on everybody if she is

their spokesperson maybe it's good. IS she still working ?

In this kit it comes with four concealing creams, moisture primer lotion, cover stick,

vitamin stick, perfect touch camouflage cream, compact finishing powder, natural

bronzer, tea tree oil softening stick, Two in one glow stick, camouflage brush

all-purpose brush and two sponges. So it comes with a lot. Now this one was

pricier it was 79.95 but like I went for it. you know what the commercial

really sucked me in. There are two color kits , light or medium to dark

so I picked the light. There's a lot going on okay let's see. It comes

with this pamphlet that kind of tells you everything to do

I am going to use the moisture primer lotion first smooth and prepare skin for smart

cover concealing cream. It doesn't feel sticky, it kind of smells like, I don't

know it doesn't really have a scent to IT

okay so then it's saying the vitamin

Beauty stick filled with vitamins and antioxidants to help diminish fine lines

and wrinkles . I'm going around the eye I guess it's just gonna keep it hydrated

so doesn't look cakey that's my assumption. I have the color corrector

and it doesn't tell you in this little booklet what to do with it on the back

it says may be used as full-face foundation. The color corrector...? I dont know about that

wait what what is this oh no. I think this you're supposed

to mix it with the foundation to make it lighter . Let me look up a video really

quick because what is what is ? "You can use this prior to applying your

concealing cream to neutralize the color and then apply the appropriate shade of

concealing cream" Im going to dab this off a bit I thought it was a peachy tone

Concealing creams it gives you a bunch of different colors. Light beige, medium

beige, golden tan and dark beige . They're all packaged exactly the same which is

kind of annoying. They're saying you can use a concealing cream all over as a

foundation or just to spot conceal also to cover tattoos or like just the

heavier stuff birthmarks eczema stuff like that then they have this one which

is the camouflage cream this one I guess is for spot concealing or if someone

wants more of like a natural look I guess but they were also saying you can

use this as a foundation. This is smart cover stick in natural beige, I

guess this is the one that goes under the eyes . I'm gonna go in with the

concealing cream on this side because this is where I have the

hyperpigmentation. Let's just try it out I'm gonna use light beige and the

girl in the tutorial is using her finger so I want to make sure I'm doing

it like her she was also saying to use a buffing motion with your finger . I mean

it definitely dries down very matte I didn't put it under here because I want

to see how this concealing stick in natural beige does

that worked nice it does look really cakey though like really dry even though

I use that vitamin stick . Okay let me try this this is the camouflage cream in

natural light now they were saying to use your finger cuz you gotta warm it up

to make it nice and creamy. Let me see how this covers. It's not really covering

my hyperpigmentation

Ive been layering it and it's starting to cover now. When it dries

it doesn't move so it's really hard to blend the edges where I didn't

blend right away. I should have known. Just takes some layering but

were getting there I'm using the little sponge that it came

with it's just a normal cosmetic sponge there's really not much to this

sponge.

after a couple of layers

it looks cakey especially right in here. It dries very matte, kind of sticky.

I have to I wonder if the owner is still alive I mean in those infomercials I saw

she looked very mature, she was very aggressive

"she also has wrinkles she has deep furrows she has a little redness on

her nose it's not just our circles I mean"

after a couple layers I mean, it did cover. Do you see the cakey ?

they're saying this is a cream

blush and a lipstick. Hey that's nice and natural, nothing special.

Gonna set with the compact finishing powder and this has color to it. I thought it

was gonna be translucent use this to set my under eye

because it's creasing . oh it's very yellow oops . Okay I felt like it wasn't

awful until I used this setting powder now we're just stuck.

Believable bronzer. This brush is very rough oh shoot its a nice bronzer that adds some

warmth Im not against this. I might use this. What do you guys think?

Definitely not what I always do okay we know that but it's not awful

but it's not great. It's not life-changing like the commercial made

me feel like it was gonna be. I'm very gullible I guess . My under eye just looks

a mess but I layered so much under my eyes so I really don't expect it to look

any better. The bronzer I kind of like the bronzer I think I'm gonna use it in

the future to be honest with you it's a nice bronzer. Now it claims to cover

tattoos. I might as well just throw it on over my hand and see what happens

should I use the color corrector first because they say you should use a color

corrector. it's very thick so I mean if you're gonna use this to cover your

tattoos it's gonna look like makeup. I did a tattoo coverage video like a

couple weeks back if you are curious to know how I like to cover tattoos

wow so much cover. this is about five layers you can still

see my darkness peering through it looks like makeup obviously it's not my color

I couldn't imagine using this all over your legs like in the commercial I think

she was lying?! Anyways overall or 79.95 you get a lot of

stuff, it's not awful, I mean it does cover. I think I might use these products

again to be completely honest with you. guys I'm conflicted. Let me know

what you think down below. If you've ever tried this product and if you see any

products that you've seen on TV let me know because I love as seen on tv

products I am a sucker for them. Thank you so much for watching! I hope

you have a great day today, you make great choices and I'll be seeing guys

very soon ! byeeee

How I Mix My Fluid Paint - With Subtitles/CC - Duration: 6:37.

Hi everyone so today, I'm just gonna do a quick video about

mixing my paint. I know that there's some people in other countries, so I'm gonna try to be real good about

showing you what I'm doing. So, I've just got two different colors. I'm about to do another video and do a flower paint,

flower painting with my blow dryer,

so I figured I'd just take a minute to show you how I'm mixing these because usually that it gets a little boring,

so I don't want to show that at the beginning of every video

but this one will be a good resource for anyone that really wants to know.

So we've got 2 cups of paint you can see I'm right about there

and then I am going to add Floetrol and

I've got just a little bit of water here.

That's all that I've put in my paint, and so I'm gonna bring you guys a little closer to show you as I mix them

Ok so you can see my paints up to here now that you're a little closer. I've got some

acrylic, or master's touch acrylic paint of violet and then in this cup I have the

wonderful yummy Folk Art

Berry Wine. So I just filled them up to here and I'm going to add

my Floetrol in this cup and

I'm going to just put a little splash on each one because there's not a lot of paint, means just enough to like cover it

Do one little layer

There we go and

now I'm going to add just few drops of water and

I'm going to stir that up

Get in there pretty vigorously

and I always add a little water at a time make sure it gets all mixed in there

And then I'll add a little bit more

So that is not what you want you want a steady stream of paint coming off so

Add a little bit more water, oooh that may have been too much, let's see

Scrape the sides

Ah that might be exactly right

That's what you want right there, huh let's see keep stirring

But this is the trick to

making sure your paint is the right consistency, is you want that steady stream going on there

So, you see that?

Can you see that against the white? Mine's breaking up a little bit, I think I need a hair more

So, ultimately you want that steady stream going on. Now I have a little

popsicle stick. If I had them thick the thicker stirs, you'd see that super steady stream

But that's really what you want to see so that's when I know I need to stop

So I'm actually a little bit over 50% paint. I think on that. So let's do it one more time

with the violet and

Each paint, I mean the brands of paint can be thicker than others, so it's all about getting that steady little stream

And adding as much water as you need to get there

without adding

too much

Because you don't want your paint, I call it breaking when you use it, and it cracks or anything I always call that it breaking

It's kind of like a sauce when you break a sauce

So all right definitely need some more water in there

All right, where are we at? See we're not there yet, so

Let's do just a

Little bit more

this is where I just add a little bit at a time. Sometimes I

put a little bit more in there. I should get one of those droppers so that I can really control it some more

Keep stirring, see we're getting there now

But just, WHOOPS shoot see I bet you, that's too much. That's how quickly that can happen

Yeah, actually that might be perfect

There we go. Now, I've got that steady stream going in

And that is exactly where it needs to be

So now we are ready to paint! If you have any additional questions

please let me know. I think it's all just about getting that

steady stream of paint going

Flowing from your stick into your paint. Once you're there, you're good!

All right, let me know if I left anything out, and if you have any other follow-up questions, and I'll try to get those answered

Thank you guys

Have Bipolar? 3 Tips for Finding the Right Psychiatrist - Duration: 3:20.

What's up, y'all? It's Hannah.

First up, I have to show you my new wall art that I got.

I call her the Rainbow Goddess.

Three tips for finding the right psychiatrist.

And this is based on my personal experience living with bipolar 2 disorder.

I would love to hear your advice and your input.

So be sure to share that below.

First off, you have to ask yourself:

"What do I want?

How do I define happiness?

What do I want my life to kind of look like?"

For me, I want to be an active part in society and be present.

Struggle is a part of happiness

and that's just something we have to accept.

But I think a huge problem is

there's this textbook definition of

what makes a bipolar person stable and normal.

But we are individuals and everyone is different

and wants different things out of life.

The next one is ask questions.

This is huge.

Talk to them.

I went to a doctor one time and I asked him,

"Why did you get into psychiatry and mental health?"

And he literally said to me:

"Because I couldn't become a surgeon."

Next!

My biggest question that I started asking all of the time,

in and out of doctors office, was:

"Am I going to be able to have input in my own treatment?"

Because that is what is important to me.

The last one is: Do not settle.

I got to where I am today because I didn't give up.

And it wasn't easy.

I did my research. And I shopped around.

It was kind of like dating.

It's very interesting to me.

And, recently, I learned that in Australia,

and I'm pretty sure in Canada,

psychiatrists and people in the mental health field

do not refer to people as "mental health patients".

They refer to them as "clients".

I mean how big of a difference does that make?

Because that is the truth.

This isn't to be condescending,

because I couldn't live without doctors and psychiatrists,

but they do work for you.

My doctor, now, she's like my friend.

She sees me as an individual before she sees my bipolar disorder.

She knows that she can't find Hannah Blum in a textbook.

In order for her to know what makes me successful,

she has to know me.

That's how mental health works, in my opinion.

Again, please share your input, your advice.

And I look forward to seeing you next week.

Bye.

LEMMiNO 十大真相 音樂 Top 10 Facts - Music 中文字幕cc - Duration: 19:12.

What you're listening to is an interpretation of a song inscribed on a clay tablet some

3400 years ago.

It was excavated from the ruins of an ancient Syrian city in the 1950s and it's one of the

oldest surviving musical notations in the world.

The song, known as Hurrian Hymn #6 or the Hurrian Hymn to Nikkal, is believed to be

a hymn dedicated to the Ugaritic goddess Nikkal with lyrics to be sung and notes to be played

with an ancient string instrument known as a lyre.

Not a liar but a lyre.

English, why even try.

Musicologists have since attempted to transcribe these notations but rival transcriptions vary greatly.

The version you just listened to is merely one of numerous interpretations.

There's no way to determine the accuracy of these interpretations so what the

Hurrian Hymn to Nikkal actually sounded like back in 1400 BC, we may never know.

Why is it that music like this...

...sounds happy while music like this...

...sounds sad?

Well, research has found that music often seem to convey emotion by mimicking our vocal

and physical expressions of emotion.

Loud and fast music commonly evoke a sense of fear or excitement as loudness and a rapid

heart rate correlate with those emotions while soft and slow music commonly evoke as sense

of serenity or melancholy for the opposite reasons.

And some of these emotional cues appear to transcend cultural boundaries.

For example, one study found that Canadian listeners were able to identify the intended

emotion in music from Kyrgyzstan, India, and a native American tribe despite having no

previous exposure to that kind of music.

Conversely, when members of a native African tribe was exposed to Western music, they too

were able to correctly identify the intended emotion.

On the other hand, some emotional cues appear to be culture-specific.

The reason most of us perceive this music as happy...

...while perceiving this music as sad...

...is due in part to the respective songs being played in major and minor key.

However, this perception of major being happier than minor is not intrinsic to music but rather

a culture-specific association.

It's something we've learned.

In fact, some cultures have the complete opposite association with minor being perceived as

happier than major.

Not to mention that numerous cultures use completely different musical systems where

major and minor is not even a thing.

One study found that members of a remote Amazonian tribe with little to no exposure to Western

music perceived these consonant chords...

...as equally pleasant to these dissonant chords.

So the reason we perceive them as harmonious or discordant is because we've learned to do so.

It is not some innate preference.

There's no definitive answer as to why certain sounds makes us feel certain emotions but

one interpretation is indeed that sad music sounds sad as it resembles the sounds and

behaviors we've come to associate with sadness.

Some of those associations are culture-specific while others are culture-transcendent and

the amalgamation of both is what enables a simple sound to convey a complex emotion.

Why is it that a really good tune can induce shivers down your spine and even goosebumps?

It's a sensation familiar to most, although not to everyone, but much like the emotionality

of music there's no clear consensus on exactly why it happens.

Goosebumps are produced by a vestigial fight-or-flight response from back when humans were covered in hair.

When our ape-like ancestors had to battle the cold or sensed imminent danger, their

hair would rise to improve insulation or to make them appear larger and more intimidating.

As we've since shed our beastly fur to become bipedal mole-rats, goosebumps are merely a

vestige from a time before receding hairlines.

But how is this connected to music?

Well, studies have found that music stimulates reward pathways in the brain which triggers

the release of dopamine similar to what happens when you eat tasty food or take psychotropic drugs.

So musical shivers is the auditory equivalent of some really good pot.

These dopamine triggers appear to be activated in anticipation of a climax or when the song

takes an unexpected turn such as a satisfying drop in EDM...

...or a crescendo in classical music.

This surge of dopamine then triggers the release of adrenaline which in turn can induce shivers

and transform you into a menacing cactus.

So we do know how it happens but we're not entirely sure why our brains are wired to

respond this way in the first place.

Inside a church in the town of Halberstadt in Germany there's an organ that appears to

be stuck on the same chord.

What you're listening to is actually a musical piece called As Slow As Possible.

It was written by an American composer named John Cage in 1985 and as the name would suggest

it is the slowest musical performance ever undertaken.

A conventional performance of this piece would take less than an hour but the slow-motion

concert inside this church will not conclude for another 622 years.

The project began in 2001 but the piece is played at such an excruciating pace that the

first actual sound was not heard until some 17 months into the performance.

Since then it's only gone through 12 chord changes, the latest of which was heard back in 2013.

The next transition is not expected until September of 2020.

Which reminds me that we're closer to 2020 than 2013.

Why is time?

Each chord change attracts a sizable audience and presuming the organ can be maintained

for centuries to come this concert is scheduled to conclude in 2640.

Which is coincidentally the deadline I've set for my next video.

Asking someone "Do you like music?" is a bit like asking someone if they like being happy.

Of course I like music.

Everyone likes music.

Not the same genre perhaps but certainly music in general.

I think we can all agree that music is universally liked.

Well, if you do agree with that then you'd be horribly wrong because some people are

in fact incapable of deriving pleasure from music.

It's known as musical anhedonia and affects approximately 3-5% of the population.

It is typical for music to affect autonomic functions such as pupil dilation, breathing,

and heart rate but, much like a Swede listening to Danish, musical anhedonics perceive music

as nothing more than apathetic noise.

And it is a specific indifference towards music as those with the condition display

perfectly normal emotional responses to other forms of stimuli.

However, while incapable of feeling the music they are perfectly capable of comprehending

the emotions being conveyed.

So a sad or happy song will still sound sad or happy but it won't make them feel sad or happy.

This is a piece composed by Mozart around 1782 and while it may sound rather beautiful,

the lyrics are not quite what you'd expect from one of the most renowned composers in history.

When translated from German the title of this composition is, no joke, "Lick Me In the Ass".

It is believed to be inspired by a famous quote from a contemporary German drama in

which the protagonist uses the phrase as a comedic insult.

However, this is merely one example of Mozart's fascination with scatology.

Which is a very academic way of saying that Mozart enjoyed writing and singing about feces.

Roughly 12% of the letters Mozart wrote to family and friends contains at least one scatological

or sexual reference.

For example, in November of 1777 he wrote this letter to his cousin which can be translated as such.

Early scholars were so taken aback by these inelegant musical works and letters that such classics as

"Lick Me In the Ass Right Well and Clean" which is an entirely different

piece from the aforementioned one mind you, were shamefully suppressed with more flattering

titles and lyrics.

Some authors have interpreted Mozart's prolific use of obscenities as evidence of Tourette syndrome.

A rare symptom of which is the involuntary utterance of obscenities.

However, just as many oppose this interpretation as Mozart's close circle of family and friends

would frequently engage in equally obscene exchanges.

The most probable explanation is that he was simply having a laugh.

In fact, some historians argue that this was a very common sense of humor in 18th century Germany.

Also, I love the fact that this is a subject deemed worthy of a dedicated page on Wikipedia.

One of the earliest musical instruments, aside from shouting in harmony and incessant meat slapping,

is the flute.

The oldest surviving flute could be this bone fragment excavated from an archaeological

site in Slovenia.

The bone is that of the long extinct cave bear and is at least 43,000 years old.

Assuming it is a fragment of a Paleolithic flute it may serve as evidence that Neanderthals

played and enjoyed music as much as modern humans.

On the other hand, the holes may simply be the bite marks of an animal and examples of

similar bite marks do exist.

Less controversial claims of prehistoric flutes include this vulture bone flute and this pair

of mammoth ivory flutes.

The Happy Birthday song is arguably the most popular songs in the world given that birthdays

tend to occur at least once a year.

The melody dates back to the late 1800s when an American school teacher named Patty Hill

and her sister Mildred Hill wrote a song titled Good Morning to All.

The lyrics were frequently rewritten to be sung at special occasions such as

Christmas, New Year, or birthdays.

As the birthday variation was published without credit or copyright a company known as Summy Company

ceased the opportunity to copyright the song in 1935.

Summy Company was eventually acquired by Warner/Chappell Music

and ever since they have collected royalties on public uses of Happy Birthday to You.

It is arguably the most profitable song in history with estimated lifetime earnings upwards of $50 million.

However, in 2010 an American law professor extensively researched the song and found that

while the composition of the melody can be traced to the Hill sisters, the person

who wrote the actual lyrics of Happy Birthday to You remains unclear.

This research served as the basis for a successful lawsuit against Warner/Chappell Music by a

documentary filmmaker and in late 2015 the company's copyright claim

on Happy Birthday to You was invalidated.

For the first time ever the song is now in the public domain in both the US and Europe

and so it is no longer illegal to celebrate birthdays.

It's difficult to believe that this sampled drum loop could be responsible for the creation

and evolution of entire genres and musical subcultures.

Chances are that you've heard it before.

It's a sample known as the Amen break and it is one of the most ubiquitous samples in

music history.

It comes from a song released in 1969 titled "Amen, Brother" by an American funk and soul group

known as The Winstons.

In 1986 "Amen, Brother" reemerged as part of a compilation album titled "Ultimate Breaks and Beats"

and soon thereafter this brief drum solo near the middle of the song

found its way into a vast collection of hip-hop and electronic music.

The sample would come to have an immeasurable influence on countless genres such as

hip-hop, breakbeat, jungle, house, techno, hardcore, drum 'n' bass and the list continues.

It's been used in everything from death metal to elevator music.

It's use is so omnipresent and timeless that it would honestly be surprising if you've

managed to escape it.

Although pitch and tempo variations, not to mention recreations, can make it difficult to recognize.

Personally it will always make me think of the Futurama theme song.

However, the Amen break is merely one amongst an ever-expanding family of instrumental drum samples.

In 1800 a renowned German composer named Daniel Steibelt traveled to the Austrian city of Vienna.

Another famous German composer named Ludwig van Beethoven had been living and performing

in the capital for quite some time and, if an account written by a student of Beethoven

is to be believed, when Steibelt arrived he challenged Beethoven to an improvisational

piano contest.

These musical duels served as a form of contemporary entertainment, comparable to modern day rap battles

and so Beethoven accepted.

The contest was organized by and took place in the house of one Count Fries.

Well, it's most likely pronounced Count "Freeze" but I'm gonna ignore that and stick with Count Fries

and ketchup on the side because how often do you get to say Count Fries in a video.

Anyway, when the day of the duel arrived Steibelt was the first to play.

Known for his impressive use of tremolos, the audience cheered him on as he conjured

up a storm on the piano.

As he improvised on the piano portion of a quintet, he threw the unnecessary cello portion to the side.

Then it was Beethoven's turn.

As he walked towards the piano he picked up the cello portion which Stiebelt had so carelessly

dismissed, turned the sheet upside down, and hammered out an improvisational theme from

the first few bars.

He mockingly improvised on this theme for quite some time and the audience loved it.

Realizing he'd been thoroughly outplayed and humiliated, Stiebelt stormed out of the house

of Count Fries before Beethoven had even finished.

He supposedly declared that he would not return for as long as Beethoven resided in Vienna.

Well, Beethoven lived out his life in the Austrian capital and Stiebelt kept his promise as he never returned.

You could say that Stiebelt was thoroughly fried after Beethoven's musical grilling.

As for Count Fries himself, Beethoven actually dedicated a number of compositions to

Count Moritz von Fries in appreciation of his continued patronage.

Either that or his incredible name.

One of which has been playing in the background of this segment.

Not that this is relevant to the story or anything I just wanted to squeeze in a few extra fries.

The timeless Count Fries can be seen here with his family.

No doubt dreaming about salty strips of potato-based produce.

Małgorzata Socha o macierzyństwie. Czego żałuje najbardziej?

Małgorzata Socha o życiu zawodowym i macierzyństwie.

Grunt to dobra organizacja, zaufani przyjaciele i rodzina.

Myślicie, że tym razem faktycznie doczeka się wymarzonego synka, czy „dziewuchy kompletnie zawładną jej domowym ogniskiem?.
