Youtube daily report w Mar 22 2018

While some people say that the internet basically brings out the worst in people, there are

some parts of the old' cyberspace that are actually beneficial to society.

Here's an example of that: Reddit's /r/AskReddit section had a question to the tens of thousands

of Redditors that work in food service what items people should definitely NOT order.

We figured we'd do our part too, so we went through the countless responses to pick the

top 10 items you definitely shouldn't order the next time you hit up the drive-thru.

Chili at Wendy's

One of the things that separates Wendy's from its fast foot competition is its chili, so

if you're one of the many who stops by Wendy's drive-thru late at night to get some delicious

Cowboy food, you might want to skip ahead just a bit.

Multiple workers from Wendy's let people know that the chili is made from the same meat

the restaurant uses for its burgers.

The problem there is that they typically use the hamburger that's too old for those square

sammiches to make the chili, which means you're eating old, dried up and sometimes expired

meat when you order it.

Beyond that, they also use the excess hamburger that's left on the grill in the chili, which

is just disgusting.

Want the trifecta?

Apparently, if the chili that they've made doesn't sell fast enough and ends up getting

too cold to sell (despite being in the warmer), employees add hot water to the expired meat

smorgasbord to just really up the grossness of this former favorite fast food item.

Steak and Beans at Taco Bell

While the chili entry was confirmed by multiple Wendy's employees, some of these are based

on the individual claims of single employees.

That's just a disclaimer before you completely write off a favorite item from a restaurant's

menu.

Redditor Beefcake21 said of the steak and beans at Taco Bell: "The beans start out looking

like cat food, and the directions are, 'Add water and stir until you can't see white anymore.'

Beefcake21 also said that the steak was just the worst on dish duty.

If it would sit too long it would become like hair gel."

Just the nastiest.

Disclaimer or not, we're definitely going to think twice next time we get the urge to

eat "Mexican" food.

Dunkin' Donuts' Sandwiches

Dunkin' Donuts is really popular, especially on the East Coast of the United States, and

a treasured part of every 80s cop movie.

Beyond just coffee and donuts, Dunkin' Donuts has attempted to expand its offerings to breakfast

sandwiches and regular sandwiches as well.

While that makes sense as all fast food places are attempting to expand what they offer in

both items in general and healthy items in particular, one employee named "mjforever33"

warns against purchasing the relatively new sandwiches.

Mjforever33 says: "The donuts are fine.

But don't order the sandwiches, "Both the tuna and chicken is scooped out of a little

container.

I don't even know what's in it.

The eggs come 'pre-cooked' and look disgusting.

Donuts = Good.

Sandwiches = You're nuts, stoned, or hammered."

Say what you will about his assessment of the level of quality of the ingredients in

the sandwiches, he's not wrong about the customers' level of sobriety.

Chipotle's Quesorito

One thing that every customer at any restaurant fears is somehow pissing off the server or

kitchen staff that make and carry your food.

Because there's always a chance that that person will spit or otherwise mess with your

order.

While Reddit user and Chipotle employee "ThedudeisCJ" didn't necessarily say that people at Chipotle

are spitting in food, he does lay out all the ingredients for doing just that.

He warns against people ordering the Quesorito, an item that takes a lot of time and care

to make, especially during busy hours at the restaurant.

While it's fine to order when it's slow, if you order it during a rush, ThedudeisCJ says

employees will hate you.

The people behind you in line will hate you.

Everyone will hate you."

That'll increase the chances that something bad might end up in your food, especially

considering Chipotle's less than sanitary reputation.

Anything Fried...

Or At All from Olive Garden

Now, sure, adding Olive Garden to a list of fast food restaurants is a bit of a stretch,

as it's more of a chain sit down place, but this entry is so gross that it had to be included.

Olive Garden prides itself on offering relatively luxurious food, at least from the standpoint

of chain restaurants, which implies a quality that apparently just doesn't exist.

Just ask Reddit user 'UppersArentNecessary'.

He works at Olive Garden and said this of deep-fried food; "I don't know how often the

frying oil is changed, but judging by the color....

I know it smells rancid."

Beyond that, though, he expanded his critique to the food in general, saying; "I don't know

which dishes this comes with, but the potato and pepper mixture, which is fried, will often

have pieces of pepper in it that have started to rot.

Not growing-mold rotten, but definitely soft-discolored rotten."

So maybe make your own spaghetti at home next time.

Guys, it's so easy.

McNuggets that Aren't Made Fresh

Who doesn't love McDonald's' McNuggets?

You know, besides Gordon Ramsay.

Sure, they're made from the "pink slime" chicken that went viral a few years ago and end up

on a production line that looks like a factory that's making car parts, and they've also

recently been linked to cancer thanks to all the preservatives used to ensure that they

stay "fresh" as long as possible, but...

They're just so delicious!

Well, add one more reason to not order what apparently is going to end up killing us all,

as Reddit user and McDonald's employee "Ritch88" said that you should always specify fresh.

"If you order," he said, "especially chicken nuggets, just ask for them fresh.

Otherwise, they've been just sitting in their container in the heat.

They have a timer, but 9/10 times when that timer goes off, people just reset it instead

of making new ones.

This could go on until all the nuggets are sold."

McDonald's McCafe Machine

McDonald's used to get a TON of business from people who were simply ordering coffee, and

once their breakfast coffee market share started slipping thanks to the addition of drive-thrus

at places like Starbucks or Caribou (not to mention all the hipster coffee joints that

have popped up), and the at-home coffee machine revolution headed by companies like Keurig,

McDonald's decided to up the quality of their java by launching the McCafe side of their

business.

McCafe was the "high-end" version of regular McDonald's coffee, which makes the info provided

by McDonald's employee and Redditor "Envirometh" all the more ironic.

Basically, just don't order the "fancy" coffee, as; "All McCafe beverages run through a horrifically

dirty machine; we're talking 5+ inches of uncleaned, liquid bulls--t making up its inside

parts, and the smoothies have glass cleaner in them."

McYuck.

Milk Shakes at Jack in the Box (Especially If You've Got

a Fruit Allergy)

Fruit allergies are no joke, as something as small as a grape can literally kill some

people.

Because of that, having a severe food allergy can be a nightmare for people as they never

can be really sure that what they're about to eat won't kill them.

While a lot of people like to make fun of those allergies, especially peanut allergies

(as there's been a lot of bad PR in that regard, like parents getting admonished for making

a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for their kids' lunch), there's a pretty logical rationale

behind that fear and those notes as the entry from Reddit user "RingoTheCraftySquid" points

out.

Ringo works or worked for Jack in the Box and mentioned how the same machine makes both

smoothies and milkshakes, which means that your milkshakes could have remnants of fruit

in it.

Ringo says that it's also not a very clean machine, per company policy: "We do not clean

the mixer very well, and it's used for smoothies and milkshakes.

Like, we're TOLD to just half-ass it.

In the training video."

Ballpark Hotdogs

Attention sports fans, the questions/theories/fear you've always had about those $12 hot dogs

were right!

Despite the fact that the markup on hotdogs should allow those in charge of concession

stands to buy new dogs every single day, apparently, they're too greedy or lazy to do so and end

up saving already cooked hotdogs for days and days and days.

Stadium worker and Redditor "FreakyCheeseMan" says the following of his experience at the

ballpark; "[The hot dogs] made it out of the package okay, and might even have been edible

after we finished grilling them, and then they went into the water.

Any hot dogs left at the end of the day went back into the fridge and came out again the

next day.

Me and the other cook put our feet down on throwing out the water and old hot dogs after

two full days, but the management didn't want to let us."

Hotdog...

More like Lukewarm-Pre-and-Re-Cooked-Food-Poisoning-Waiting-to-Happen-Dog.

Seafood Sandwiches at Subway

Subway is having a lot of problems right now.

Not only did their spokesperson of a decade end up being a pedophilic monster, but they're

also losing customers left and right now that they've moved away from their five-dollar

footlong program (which wasn't great for profits, anyways).

Subway is the largest fast food company in the United States, with almost 2,000 more

locations than the second place company, McDonald's and they're closing restaurants left and right.

That might be a good thing, at least for sea-life, as when they're not substituting seafood with

imitation meat and mixing in way too much mayonnaise, they're also potentially using

seafood that contains dolphin and/or sea turtle meat.

According to one Subway employee; "Worked at Subway 2010-12.

The only thing I have to say is that tuna and seafood packages used to have a label

on it that said that it didn't contain dolphin or turtles in the meat, then in 2012, that

label suddenly disappeared."

That could just mean they're only using imitation meat now and thus they don't need the label

but think about that.

That's still pretty bad.

When the options are either they're lying to you or killing dolphins and feeding them

to you, you know a company has problems.

Hope we didn't gross you out too much?

LEGO Tron Legacy revealed! Still can't believe this is a thing! - Duration: 1:18.

LEGO revealed the next Ideas set -

Tron Legacy -

and it looks pretty darn good.

It releases March 31st for 35 bucks,

which that price is probably the weakest part of the set.

The two light cycle builds feel like something

for a twenty dollar set at most -

and the piece count shows,

with only 230 pieces.

But still, I really dig the builds.

The lightcycles are definitely

the most recognizable part about the Tron franchise,

and they're excited pretty well.

I especially like the use of the panel

at the back to show the line effect left by the lightcycle.

I'm also happy with the inclusion

of the grid display to rest the two cycles on.

The minifigures are the best part of the set though,

especially with details like the Identity Discs,

Quara's not dual moulded but carefully printed arms,

and Rinzler's helmet,

a nice reuse of the 2017 Invinicible Iron Man one.

I still can't believe this is a thing -

the Tron Legacy movie came out eight years ago

and was a box office disappointment.

However, with LEGO Ideas,

I guess anything is possible -

we got a LEGO Yellow Submarine set, after all.

The Tron franchise has something of a cult following,

so I'm sure this set will sell well,

especially since it's fairly cheap,

which will attract those of us

who didn't really care for the movie.

Besides that dope soundtrack, of course.

Either way, what do guys think?

Leave your thoughts in the comments below.

I'll see you guys later, peace out, bye.

Top 10 Fast Food Items You Should NEVER ORDER According to Reddit! - Duration: 11:04.

Donuts = Good.

Olive Garden prides itself on offering relatively luxurious food, at least from the standpoint

So maybe make your own spaghetti at home next time.

Guys, it's so easy.

McNuggets that Aren't Made Fresh

Who doesn't love McDonald's' McNuggets?

They're just so delicious!

Well, add one more reason to not order what apparently is going to end up killing us all,

"If you order," he said, "especially chicken nuggets, just ask for them fresh.

Otherwise, they've been just sitting in their container in the heat.

McDonald's McCafe Machine

However, with LEGO Ideas,

I guess anything is possible -

we got a LEGO Yellow Submarine set, after all.

The Tron franchise has something of a cult following,

so I'm sure this set will sell well,

especially since it's fairly cheap,

which will attract those of us

who didn't really care for the movie.

Besides that dope soundtrack, of course.

Either way, what do guys think?

Leave your thoughts in the comments below.

I'll see you guys later, peace out, bye.

Don't CARE About Your Weaknesses! - Study Motivation - Duration: 10:49.

you need to bet on your strengths and don't give a about what you suck at

you're gonna way too many people this room are gonna spend the next 30 40

years of their lives trying to check the boxes other things that they're not as

good at and that you're gonna waste a lot of time and lose I highly recommend

auditing yourself or if you have no empathy or EQ or self-awareness then

find somebody in your family or friendship that does and let them tell

you who you are and once you believe that either for

yourself or someone else told you go directly all chips all into that because

that is the only possible way in my opinion watching from the outside that

let me rephrase that is a very highly likely way of over-indexing because the

truth is if you want to be an anomaly you've got to act like one you know like

and so that's it that's what I got so thanks for having me one definition that

I have for a good team is a group of people that makes better decisions as a

whole then it would individually make is a sum of the parts and when you're I

think most smart people like learning right and I mean that's like one of the

thrills of starting a company right is you're just the learning curve can be so

steep and if you can set up a team dynamic where you're constantly learning

from the people around you then I mean what's better right these are the people

I wake up every morning and I want to I want to go learn from and just from is

that one of your heuristics for hiring people to to like hire people that you

learn from yeah and when building a team you want it to you want to think about

the dynamic so that way you can maintain this property that the team makes better

decisions as a group than any individual how did you get the expertise to be the

chief technology officer of a rocket ship company well I do have a physics

background that's helpful as a foundation and then I read a lot of

books and talk to a lot of a lot of smart people you're self-taught yeah

well well itself toward yes meaning I didn't I don't have an aerospace degree

so how did you go about acquiring the knowledge well I like said I had read a

lot of books talk to a lot of people and and have a great one of my weak points

in my personal life is I don't like technical stuff so even though I have to

be on Twitter and Instagram and I don't care for that so guess what I

find somebody who loves to do that you know I find somebody who has a strength

where I will have a weakness and I partner with them all you're trying to

do is get to the goal no one gets there by themselves

everybody needs help now when you know what you got going for you

be confident not cocky managing your strengths knowing what they are and

don't let nobody talk you out of it and that gets you fight ready

you get fight ready like that you got to know you helps you develop your skills

all the while you're developing your strength it's not you just got to keep

developing strength don't everybody talk to you at the same time you must work on

improving your weaknesses so I've had to in spite of myself get on Instagram get

on Twitter get on Facebook I got to do two videos whether I want to or not

because the world is moving to social media if I had as many followers as Kim

Kardashian I probably wouldn't even have to do this TV show when somebody comes

and says John I want to be a leader I was asking the question why why do you

want to be a leader I mean you want to be a leader because you want a corner

office do you want to be a leader because you like to be in control you

like to want to be a leader because you love to be in the front of the pack you

want to be a leader because you want to have a good parking place why do you

want to be a leader because leadership is an easy leadership a lot of times

isn't fun leadership a lot of times it's kind of lonely there's only one reason

to be a leader and that is to add value to people and you and I will only add

value to people if we truly value them I have a nonprofit organization equipped

this trained almost two million leaders internationally around the world and I

kid you not as I go to developing countries twice a year and I travel

internationally and I sit down sometimes I have the privilege of being in the

offices of presidents of countries and as I watch these two developing

countries the thing that is the cardinal sin among leadership so much is that

they have leaders of their countries that truly don't value the people and if

you and I don't value people we will devalue people

number two if you want to add value to people you have to make yourself more

valuable you just have to get better you have to keep growing you have to keep

learning you have to keep developing why very simply if you're leading the pack

you've got to be able to give what you have and you can't give what you don't

have and so therefore you've got to put a lot of good stuff in so that you can

pass it on to others and share with them and and add value to them thirdly if you

want to add value to people you have to know and relate to what other people

value you and I have to walk slowly through the crowd we have to listen we

have to care you see great leaders are first of all listeners and then they're

learners and then their leaders they really do take their cue from the people

they understand that the key of leadership is connecting with the people

that you lead and the only way that you and I ever connect is by caring enough

to listen

number four is very important to me when I'm speaking in the business community I

always share with them that for them there are three ways to add value to

people but for me there are four and I tell them I'll give them the three and

then there and so I'll I'll spend maybe an hour doing those three things I just

shared with you talking about how to add value to people and inevitably when I'm

done with the three somebody raise their hands say John you said they're for you

there was four but you said there's only three for us I said yes it's there's

nothing personal but this is about my faith and so I don't really need to

share this with you it's because I'm trying to help you and I I don't want to

cross boundaries with you and never ever be they'll say but John tell us what

yours is and I'll say well okay you could hear mine but don't write it down

in fact don't listen because number four for me is if I really want to add value

to people I have to do the things the God family learning is a lifelong thing

it doesn't end at Harvard Business School it's your responsibility I think

if you're in any profession at all you have to do it consistently all the time

I think I spend probably fifty or sixty percent of my time learning reading

talking to people traveling that's the only way you can keep on top of this

global world of ours and it's even tougher now because of the globality of

the businesses you're all going to deal in how reading is the most important one

but the second one which is often forgotten is talking to other people you

can learn more from speaking to people in 15 minutes then if you spent your

life doing something they can explain it to you and you can learn from watching

people you also are going to learn by I'm gonna call it imitation but by

watching other very good people and how they operate in difficult circumstances

I learned a lot of things what not to do analyze what to do by watching other

people it must feel good when you can say I told you

definite what does that title mean exactly that yeah

and feeling of the feeling of I told you I know that's kind of how I felt about

my music for years you know I felt like my music is it may have not been the

greatest but it was at a level that was higher than a lot of people you know at

least the quality of music that a lot of people were putting out and all

throughout the times that I've been putting out music you know match the

times they've been putting up music right and so I've always kind of felt

like you know one day somebody has to see this you know and for all the people

that I told and he just doubted me and like time after time when I'm sitting

there I'm just like you'll please just believe me and everyone just looked at

me and just like I don't see it mm-hmm you know and and and no matter what I

would explain to them y'all I'm gonna do this and I'm gonna do this like this and

I even you know despite the times when I was homeless and I was sleeping in the

back of cars trying to figure it out and telling people like just listen to what

I have you know I mean I'm tugging it out going to the studio every single

night sleeping in my car not even my car just somebody's car how

long were you homeless story I I was like I was almost a few times yeah yes

several times to different times in my life the first time I was homeless fight

two months second time I was homeless for like not long two to three weeks man

it was a long-ass day you don't have nowhere to go those are those nights and

those days are longer than anything and so when you say I've told you it's not

like man like ah you know it's like man like yeah it's like it's dojo like I

told you guys like like this is really like I want you to know I told you that

I would be here I told you that one day before they try to sweep up albums and

four they try to sweep up CD real physical sales I will have something on

a shelf I told you it's not that you you know prove what you have to prove to

yourself for them you do that right right right but you also do have

something to prove to them well always tell me how did you I say man proving me

right at the same point I'm proving you wrong you don't know saying so so I

believe in me you know it's crazy because even when you get on to where

you say man and you know you owe me I'm signed here it's about to happen and

there's certain things don't happen you get people that also count your failures

like man or didn't go for you know so you even get to a point you stop telling

people what your plans all that's true you know I

think I've experienced that a lot of times just being in places where like

you know I've had a lot of you we were daring when you thought something was

hot and then it didn't pop and then instead of recouping back with us and

believing like hi let's come with the next plane it's just a fall off so I've

had to deal with so many people falling ride and off them they trail and the

track and so that I told you is this to them too

I'd love to work I do feel sometimes weirdly enough when it comes to

filmmaking I feel less stressed when I'm actually on set when it's those few

weeks of actually filming and I kind of I do love the preparation work so it's

it's hot it's it's a the one ambitious I guess comes out of pure passion so then

it's nothing you cannot tell yourself to sit down and do the work you cannot just

want to do it I love making films so really that's

that's it's my biggest passion and I feel extremely lucky every every time I

get one more chance to try and hear it again

Being Woke Isn't a Joke - Duration: 4:59.

Do you think a lot of people who say they're woke

actually aren't really doing enough to back it up?

>> Well what do you mean by backing it up?

I mean- >> Putting their words into action.

Like if you're saying you're woke, you know what's going on,

what are you doing about it?

>> I don't think people who are woke though, would be saying they're woke

because you're not are woke, you be woke.

>> Yes. >> You just be it.

>> [LAUGH] [INAUDIBLE] >> You don't act like

you- >> [APPLAUSE]

>> Hold on, what?

>> I know what you're saying.

>> You know what I'm saying, though?

>> Like you-

>> [CROSSTALK]

>> You can't be like yo I'm woke-

>> Yeah, yeah.

>> I'm fully woke.

Well you're so busy saying you're woke

you're not just being it. >> Well I

think- >> That's

an action to be woke. >> Yeah.

>> That's what I'm saying, it's putting

it into action.

>> Well, but I think, I understand what you're saying about it can be trendy.

And so people are like, let me get on this train.

>> I'm not saying that, this guy is saying that.

>> Yeah, no, I mean your article.

>> Just saying y'all, don't eat me up.

>> Yeah you know they'll hit you up, do you think you?

I'm down, relax.

I'll give you examples, okay?

Let's give you some examples.

>> Mm-hm. >> Remember when Jesse Williams made that

wonderful speech at the BET Awards?

>> Yes! >> Yes.

>> And it was about black women and

the love for black women. It was like, yes, Jesse, yes!

>> Yes. >> And then he turned around and

he ended up getting a divorce and allegedly he was with a white woman.

Well, okay.

>> [LAUGH] >> Y'all know where I'm coming from, okay?

>> I don't.

>> Elaborate.

>> No because what happens is sometimes you have to be careful with

letting people label you and

put this like, now everything is on you because people have these expectations.

>> You feel the pressure to- >> And you feel pressured

>> Pressure.

So it's like we can't necessarily label people a certain type of way and

then, when they have their own- >> Personal lives.

>> Cuz they're allowed to have personal lives, and personal things.

>> Yeah. >> Okay.

>> And you can't let that

affect your judgement, you know?

>> Yeah. Cuz God-forbid you say out loud,

I love you know,

black men and then God forbid you end up falling in love with an Asian, Loni.

>> Well that's, I'll tell you what happened.

>> They messed up though.

>> One time.

>> That ain't fair.

>> I'm gonna tell you one time.

You still love Black men.

>> This is about four or five years ago at the Essence Fest, right?

>> Okay.

>> The actor director, Nate Parker, he was in a movie and

they had these panels at the Essence Fest, right?

And we had screened the movie, there's about 200, 300 Black women and

Nate Parker is sitting there.

This is the first time we actually met Nate Parker and he was,

he was talking about his love for the black woman, 200, 300 women.

He was like yeah, I love black women, black women,

there's nothing like a strong and there's this what you like?

We've gassed up.

We've gassed.

And so they had a question and answer session, right?

And a girl stood up and says, excuse me.

I just googled you and you got a white wife.

>> [LAUGH] >> Yeah but-

>> The whole weight of it.

Let me finish.

The whole room were silent.

They were like.

>> They- >> No,

cuz can you imagine you sitting up in his room.

>> But why you compliment another race but

not necessarily [CROSSTALK] I don't get it.

>> Because of his mama he loves his mama, she's strong, she's Black.

>> It doesn't mean he's Black.

>> [LAUGH] >> You all don't get it cuz y'all ain't

Black [LAUGH] >> No, I get it.

I get it, I don't get it.

>> [APPLAUSE] >> I'm talking up to understand that.

[CROSSTALK] >> No.

Explain it.

I want to get it.

>> Okay.

I get it.

It's that they maybe would have wished that he would have been

married to a Black woman >> But guys, I think it's okay to love and

support.

It's like me,

that's like saying I don't love Latino men cuz I didn't marry a Latino man.

>> Exactly.

>> I do, I love Latino men, I think we're freaking awesome.

>> It depends on what he was saying.

>> That's what I said.

Their not letting me finish, so I'm gonna let you assume.

>> No, I wanna know >> Half-like size, fuck that, okay?

>> [LAUGH] >> I got it.

>> See, man, I gotta wait for the break to Google this?

I don't get it.

>> [LAUGH] >> So Loni, finish.

>> Finish. >> Because the thing is he was gassing it

up like there was no other woman like the Black woman.

And that's what I'm saying.

>> Got it. >> Be careful what you say and

how you say it.

>> Okay, okay. >> You know what I'm saying?

Don't make it seem like that's all you, yeah.

And I wouldn't be without the body nobody else.

>> Got it.

>> Don't do that.

Because you never know what's gonna happen.

Or not being true to who he is when he knew.

You know you got a white wife.

Don't be gassing us up.

This is how I gassed up.

>> [LAUGH] >> All that to say Google will have you

messed up.

Google will expose some things.

He's sitting right there but I agree with Loni in the sense of don't

put the gasoline on stuff you're not trying to make a fire out of.

>> That's what I'm saying.

>> Yes. >> Like don't go the extra mile.

If you're woke, do what you have to do to put into action what you

think to make the difference for what you think is wrong.

But do not sit there all day and talk about, I am woke.

I am woke. I am woke.

And then we Google things about you that are not so woke.

>> [APPLAUSE] >> And that is what we are saying.

The Real Reason Why Domino From Deadpool 2 Looks So Familiar - Duration: 4:30.

Zazie Beetz is far from a household name, but her role in the upcoming Deadpool sequel

just might change all that.

In the scant five years that Beetz''s IMDb profile has been active, she's racked up a

respectable number of credits.

Here's why Domino from Deadpool 2 looks so familiar.

Wolves

Zazie started her career like most other up-and-coming actors in their mid-20s - by playing high

school students.

Wolves is the age-old urban tale of a young man named Anthony, who uses his prowess on

the basketball court to escape a far more complicated home life.

Beetz is Victoria, Lee's love interest, whose arc revolves around her desperate desire to

know all the parts of him that he keeps hidden.

Shot during the summer of 2015, Wolves is the project that let Beetz give up her day

job and pursue acting full time.

The film took a one-way ticket to Highbrow Town by premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival

before being picked up for distribution by IFC Films.

Margot vs. Lily

In 2016, Nike decided that a cute, diverse, and surprisingly well-made web series was

the best way to promote their workout clothes, and Margot vs. Lily was the result.

As part of the "Better For It" Women's campaign, this was Nike's first scripted show, and it

got a nice amount of positive buzz in part because the commercial elements were integrated

well into the narrative.

"Allie!

I think I might be jacked!

Arms so sore, arms like Thor…"

"Wow!

I've never seen you like this in the morning."

Beetz plays Allie, best friend and roommate to Margot, a snarky millennial with a chip

on her shoulder who lives and plots in the shadow of her internet-famous fitness guru

sister Lily.

Easy

This Netflix Original lacks the buzz or prestige of some of their other high profile shows

like Stranger Things or House of Cards, but Easy does have that rambling indie quality

that seems to fit nicely within Beetz's filmography.

This sexy ensemble drama follows a chain of interlinking friends navigating the ups and

downs of their intimate relationships; Beetz plays Noell, a sweet and supportive stoner

who's dating an amateur brewer named Jeff - played by Dave Franco - who has ambitions

of starting an illegal brewery with his more conservative brother.

"Imagine you were pregnant and I didn't tell you about any of this.

What would you do What would you do?"

"I would freak out!"

"Exactly!"

Atlanta

Much ink has been spilled about the groundbreaking Atlanta, Donald Glover's Emmy-winning MC Escher

painting of an urban drama.

Beetz plays Van, a young mother in love with Glover's Earn, the father of her daughter,

who at turns she's completely enamored with and totally frustrated by due to his underachieving,

spacey, charismatic brilliance.

"Uh, you're doing that weird sad boy face you've got sometimes."

"That's just my face."

This role is tailor made to make use of all that Beetz has to offer as an actor, and is

likely the reason she was on the Deadpool creative team's radar to begin with.

Geostorm

Even though her role is small, 2017's Geostorm marks Beetz's first appearance in a high-profile

film.

She plays Dana, a cybersecurity analyst and friend to Max, played by Jim Sturgess.

The disaster flick was unfortunately reamed by critics, but Beetz was still able to inject

some expositional technobabble and moments of levity opposite Sturgess — and when she

appears in Deadpool 2, it won't be her first time at the blockbuster rodeo.

The Boss

If you can make it through this squirmy January 2018 dramatization of a real-life workplace

harassment, you'll see Beetz go from an efficient and helpful professional to confused, then

alarmed, then panicked as her boss proceeds to violate her space completely.

This wasn't just another acting job — it's a PSA executive produced by Beetz' co-star

David Schwimmer.

It's among a series of short films released online designed to raise awareness about RAINN,

the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization.

Deadpool 2

Months before anyone got to see her in action as Domino, Beetz was part of the vast media

machine surrounding the Deadpool sequel.

Her casting was announced via Ryan Reynolds's Twitter with a character poster, and her arrival

quickly generated a ton of buzz.

In the world of comics, Domino, a.k.a. Neena Thurman, debuted in the pages of X-Force #8

in 1992.

Her power to affect the probability of any event within her line of sight is the result

of a government experiment.

She's joined various mercenary bands and also rolled solo throughout her history.

Beetz may seem an odd choice to play the pistol-packing, motorcycle-revving mercenary mutant — but

her fresh take might be just what the role needs.

31 Signs you're An Earth Angel and What to Do If You Are!

You never know that you may have been blessed with the ability that angels have too.

There are at least as much as 31 signs indicating that you are an angel on earth, and you need

Otherwise, you may have wasted your talent for too long.

Humanities need your help now, and it is essential to know how to help the world with your ability.

Here is the signs that you're an earth angel.

#1 - Helpful

Somehow you always find the best way to help other people.

You also naturally love to help others, and it makes you feel refreshed, recharged, and

motivated.

#2 - Supportive

Angels on earth love helping people.

Additionally, they also like to support others unconditionally.

We have seen some people support others just to get the fame and help in the future.

However, angel of earth does not need that.

and relax.

It is probably because the effect of helping others.

However, it is also a gift to keep you charming and healthy, so that people trust you to help

their problems.

Though you are not always well-organized, you know what you are going to do.

You also have clear path on what you should do next without even writing them into paper.

- [Spokesman] Virtual Boy, see it now, in 3-D.

(funky music)

- [Graham] Nintendo released it in August of 1995.

Less than a year later, it was discontinued,

and it remains the worst selling console

in the history of the company.

So, what happened?

(eerie music)

- [Spokesman] Now you're playing with power.

Super power.

- In 1995 Nintendo was seen as

the biggest game company in the world, the Super Nintendo,

as well as the previous console,

Nintendo Entertainment System, and the Nintendo Game Boy,

were all completely dominating at the time.

- [Spokesman] You've gotta play it,

you've gotta have it, you've got a reputation.

(intense music)

- [Ben] There was a lot of excitement around

virtual reality, as a result Nintendo was trying to

essentially, compete, and to take advantage

of this new technology.

- [Graham] In 1991, Nintendo paid 10 million dollars

for exclusive rights to technology created

by a company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

And it spent the next four years developing

what would eventually be known as Virtual Boy.

- When the Virtual Boy

was initially announced by Nintendo

there was some kind of hopeful positivity,

it looked like it was doing something kind of new,

and as a result there was

some kind of I think hope for this device.

- [Spokeswoman] The first 3-dimensional stereo

immersive 32-bit video game system, ever.

- [Spokesman] Virtual Boy!

- [Graham] Virtual Boy debuted in Japan

in July of 1995, it hit North America in August,

selling for a retail price of $179.99.

Nintendo made a deal with Blockbuster Video,

where customers could rent

the Virtual Boy system for $9.99.

(electronic jingle)

Only 22 games were released on Virtual Boy.

Each system came bundled with Mario's Tennis.

(electronic ringing)

(electronic jingle)

Needless to say, the options were pretty limited.

With games like Galactic Pinball,

and a game based on the 1995 movie Waterworld.

- It was immediately clear I think,

that this was

a pretty bad device, I was 10 or so at the time,

and it was terrible to me as a 10 year old.

- [Graham] Sales stalled, by May of 1996,

Nintendo dropped the price to $99,

and just two months later, the company officially

pulled the plug on Virtual Boy,

less than a year after its initial release.

So why did it fail?

Where should we begin?

- [Spokeswoman] Virtual Boy is so advanced,

it can't be viewed on conventional T.V. or LCD screens.

- Here we go, I'm go into virtual reality.

First of all, even though it was called

the Virtual Boy, it wasn't virtual reality,

it was just 3-D.

The system used a pair of oscillating mirrors

to turn a single line of LED pixels into a 3-D projection,

made of red pixels against a black background.

That's another thing, the only colors

it was capable of displaying were red and black.

Also, playing it wasn't exactly comfortable.

I feel like within about five minutes,

my back is gonna start hurting from just leaning on this.

The headset had to be attached to the stand.

That was mainly for liability reasons.

Here's why.

(light music)

(footsteps thumping)

Let's assume the stand was optional,

and you could actually wear the headset,

and move around while you played it.

That actually sounds like a lot of fun.

Wow, look at him go!

That is, until he bumps into something and gets hurt.

(electronic beeping)

Nintendo didn't want to be responsible

for any potential damages.

Along with warnings about headaches,

nausea, and dizziness, Nintendo also warned that kids

under the age of seven shouldn't play Virtual Boy,

because eyesight is still developing at that age,

and playing Virtual Boy could result in having a lazy eye.

What would've made this even more fun, or fun period,

was if you could play against your friend,

you're only playing against your computer.

You'll notice there's an input for a connector

that would connect two Virtual Boy systems,

where you could play your friends in two player mode,

but because the console failed so quickly,

they canceled the connector and it never came out

so every Virtual Boy has this input where

you could connect the two things, but it died so fast

it just never happened.

So yeah, the Virtual Boy never took off,

but it's still sought out by collectors.

At Video Games New York in Manhattan,

vintage Virtual Boy systems are for sale,

and they go for up to $400,

and some of the games, like this factory sealed

copy of Wario Land, go for up to $200.

As for Nintendo.

- In the wake of the failure of the Virtual Boy,

Nintendo was much more successful.

The Nintendo 64 came out in 1996.

They didn't retain the market dominance they'd had

in previous years, but they're still a huge force

in the video game market.

They even actually make passing joking references

to the Virtual Boy and its failure, now, sometimes.

It's become something they are able to kind of be

light-hearted about, even though it was clearly

their biggest hardware failure in Nintendo's history.

(light music)

- Y'know what, I wanna let Noah try.

Okay, I'm gonna take over the camera.

- Got it.

Huh.

I moved my fist up

but it's not moving towards him at all.

Oh, that was pretty brutal.

(laughing)

Top 10 Fast Food Items You Should NEVER ORDER According to Reddit! - Duration: 11:04.

Donuts = Good.

7 Great Core Strengthening Exercises - Ask Doctor Jo - Duration: 7:59.

hey everybody it's Doctor Jo, and today I'm going to show you seven easy core

strengthening exercises. so let's get started.

Before we start, if you haven't subscribed already make sure and click on the

button. so we're gonna start off with some pretty easy core strengthening

exercises and then get to a little bit harder. so the first ones we're gonna

start off with just gonna lie down on the floor. now if you are not comfortable

getting on the floor, you can do this on your bed or a couch. you just want it to

be firm enough where you can do the movement. so a lot of people say they

can't get up off the floor, just get on your bed or your couch and do it and

that should be fine. so we're going to start off with a pelvic tilt. with the

pelvic tilt, basically what you're trying to do is flatten out your back onto the

floor. So that little curve that we have in our back, you're moving that

pelvis or you're tilting the pelvis to push it flat down, and that kind of just

contracts those core muscles. so once you do that, if you can see that movement

almost like you're going to lift up your bottom but you're not going all the way

up. hold that for about three to five seconds and then relax. so just start off

with doing about ten of those and this is just really to kind of start getting

them loosened up, getting those movements, getting the muscles starting, but not

going too crazy yet. so again just a three to five second hold really trying

to flatten it out. if you need to put your hand under there as a target, you

can, but you really want to feel that back flat on the floor, and then do about

ten of those. so after you get those, get everything kind of loosened up in there,

you're gonna go into a full bridge. so now you're just lifting your bottom up

off the floor, and you want to lift it to about where it's level, but not arching

your back. and really just slow and controlled the whole time. so you're

coming up and then once you start to come back down, come one segment at a

time. so you don't have to pause at each segment, but really control it so you're

going up and then nice and slow coming back down.

so again just starting off with about ten of these. if this becomes really easy,

you can do 15 to 20 up to 25. if you get to 25 and

they're pretty easy then you can actually start doing one-legged bridges.

so just coming up and then coming back down, still trying to keep everything

level. so if you feel like you go up and your hip is dropping, let me do it on

this side so you can see, if it's dropping like that, that just means

you're not quite strong enough and ready for it, so then go back to the two legs.

so then we're gonna go and use a swiss bowl. today I'm going to be using the

King athletic Swiss ball, and if you're interested in purchasing it make sure

you click on the link up here. so now we're going to go into a prayer plank on

the ball. so I would start with a modified which is on your knees because

this one is a little bit harder. using a Swiss ball makes an uneven surface. so

just kind of place your arms on the Swiss ball and then bring your knees

back, tucking in the butt. so squeeze those butt muscles in and try and be in

a fairly straight line when you do it. if this is easy, if you can hold it and get

to a minute and you're just kind of like "do, do, do," then you can come up into

a full plank. but really squeezing in that butt, holding it nice and tight,

keeping everything tight. so you're not sagging down, you're not coming up like

that, you're really trying to stay in a nice straight line. so again starting off

maybe 10 to 15 seconds and then working your way up from there. so the next one

with a Swiss ball, you're gonna lie down and put your legs on the ball. so bend

the knees and get kind of in a comfortable position. if you need a

pillow for your head, you can if you just want to lie down flat on the floor you

can do that as well, but keep those knees just a little bit bent. and then you're

just gonna kind of rotate your hips from side to side. so almost like a trunk

rotation, but now you're just getting those core muscles strengthening in a

rotation position. so you don't have to go and rotate all the way down, just go

until you feel a little bit of tightness and then come back up.

keep it nice and smooth and controlled. so again just doing maybe five on each

side, and then you can progressively go down deeper if you need to. for the next

Swiss ball exercise, you're gonna be sitting on the Swiss ball. when you sit

on a Swiss ball you want your hips and your knees to be about at 90 degrees. so

your feet are nice and flat but your knees aren't coming right up. so you want

to be in a pretty comfortable position. so with this one I have a pretty heavy

weight here, you probably just want to start off with maybe a two or three

pound weight and then work your way up from there. so just take the weight and

put it straight out in front of you, and then just gently rotate from side to

side. so again this is working the core in a rotational movement. try and keep

your back nice and upright and just gently rotate back and forth. if you

feel like the weight is starting to drop, and you've only done like two or

three, it probably means the weight is too heavy, and then just get something

lighter. you can actually do these if you're not quite ready for a weight just

clasp your hands out in front of you and still do that rotational motion. so

you're still getting a good core strengthening exercise with this. so if

you're not quite ready for that weight, you can actually do that as well. whoa! so

the next exercise is a tall kneeling lean back. this works your hamstrings as

well as your core, so as you can see I don't have anything anchoring my feet.

sometimes people do need something holding their feet down to do this. again

you can go modified and just go here, you can place your hands on your hips here,

or you can just have it down by your side, but if you just want to start right

here you can. I'm already feeling my core and my quads and my hamstrings working,

but once you start going further back you're gonna feel that a lot more, so

don't try going really far back in the beginning because you need good

flexibility with this as well. just try a little bit and then you can try a little

bit further. so I just start off with about ten or fifteen

those, and then work your way up. so the last exercise is going to be standing. so

the last core exercise is going to be a simple elbow to knee standing up. so you

can either do the same side, or you can do opposite back and forth. so this one

requires some balance while you're doing it, so if you don't have really good

balance, you might want to start off doing these sitting or lying down and

then you can work your way to standing up. some people put their hands all the

way behind their head, I just kind of like to hold my hands up a little bit. so

you can do same side, you're kind of meeting in the middle. so you're, but

you're not curling your upper trunk forward, you're just kind of crunching as

you're going. or you can alternate sides back and forth. so this is not only

working your balance, but it's working your core as well. But see I'm still

pretty upright. I'm not coming down and bending my back, I'm just meeting in the

middle to really work those core muscles. so again, you can start off five on each

side, then work your way up to 20. if you're getting the 20 - 25 on each side and

that's easy, and then you can start doing some other stuff. so there you have it

those were the seven easy core strengthening exercises. if you're

interested in purchasing the King Athletic Swiss ball, make sure and click

on the link up there, and don't forget to subscribe by clicking down there. and

remember be safe, have fun, and I hope you feel better soon.

How An Overweight 40-Year-Old Became A Top Ultra-Athlete - Duration: 3:20.

- Ultra-endurance sports didn't just change me physically,

they actually gave me a brand new life.

Throughout my 30s, I was climbing the corporate ladder,

very intent on achieving

the traditional idea of the American dream.

But deep down inside, I started to question

this path that I was on.

For well over a decade,

I really hadn't been taking care of myself.

I had become a junk food addict,

I was 50 pounds overweight, kind of semi-depressed,

and shortly before I turned 40,

I was climbing up a simple flight of stairs

to go to bed one evening, and I had to pause halfway.

I was winded, I was out of breath,

I had tightness in my chest,

and it was a very specific moment in time

in which I realized that not only that

I needed to change my lifestyle habits

but that I had the willingness that I truly wanted to.

I realized that vague ideas of eating better

or working out a little bit or going to the gym

weren't really going to work for me.

I needed something specific, something definitive.

I'd played around with a bunch of different diets,

to no avail,

and I sort of attempted this

experiment in plant-based eating as kind of the last

thing that I hadn't explored.

And I didn't have a big expectation

that it would make a big difference,

but within about seven to 10 days

of eating nothing but plants,

nothing with a mother, nothing with a face,

I experienced this extraordinary thing,

like I had this resurgence in vitality,

my mental acuity improved, my sleep improved,

I had this sense of well-being and energy

that I hadn't really felt since I was a teenager.

And I didn't really know what I was doing,

but I knew in that moment that I was onto something.

And it started getting me thinking

about human potential and my own potential,

because if I could make such a simple, basic shift

and experience such a dramatic result,

where were there other untapped reservoirs

of potential that I could explore?

And that's what got me interested, ultimately,

in the world of ultra-endurance sports.

At the peak of training, I would say

I was training about 25 hours a week,

so it was really almost a second job,

and at the time, I was still a practicing attorney,

I have four kids, I'm busy doing a lot of things,

and in order to make the time that was required

to appropriately prepare for this race,

I had to make some significant cuts

and really look hard and fast

at how I was spending my time on a day-to-day basis.

I had to get rid of late-night television

and sort of business meetings that could be

pushed to a conference call or an email chain

to free up the time that was required

so I could show up at the starting line and know

in my heart of hearts that I could complete this race.

I started training, which really connected me

with myself in a very profound way,

and to the surprise of myself and many other people,

I ended up showing some prowess in this field

and ended up competing at a very high level,

specifically a race called Ultraman,

which is a double Ironman distance triathlon.

Over the course of three days,

it completely circumnavigates

the entire big island of Hawaii.

WWE CUT Ultimate Deletion! Vince McMahon Thoughts REVEALED! | WrestleTalk News Mar. 2018 - Duration: 5:23.

Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News - I'm Oli Davis, and a big thank you to

SWAFT Nation member Vinny Schway for making that intro.

Also, Paul Heyman… you're a knucklehead.

Sure showed that guy.

Vince McMahon's Thoughts On Ultimate Deletion The full debut of Matt Hardy's Woken/Broken

insanity in WWE was given the main event slot on Monday's episode of Raw, in an Ultimate

Deletion match against Bray Wyatt filmed entirely on the Hardy compound - just like the Impact

Wrestling episodes from 2016.

But despite building the segment up throughout the show, and making it the main event, Michael

Cole introduced the Ultimate Deletion with an apology:

"What we are about to show you is so different, obnoxious, surreal…

I am sorry for what you're about to watch."

Michael Cole is rumored to voice opinions that are fed to him directly by Vince McMahon

producing backstage, and going by a report from WrestleZone, that might be where the

announcer's Woken Universe disdain come from.

According to the site, "there was a backstage belief in WWE that Vince McMahon was worried

Matt Hardy's "The Ultimate Deletion" would bomb on RAW" and that "it was a

struggle" to get the match on WWE programming.

Ultimate DELETION Cut From WWE Raw Possibly supporting this, viewers of Raw on

the streaming service Hulu noted the Ultimate Deletion was cut from the show.

Hulu put up a 90 minute version of the three hour Raw shortly after its broadcast every

week - which often involves minor storylines and inconsequential matches being cut.

Sorry, Titus Worldwide.

But to not include the long-teased, much-anticipated main event segment drew complaints from viewers,

to which Hulu itself replied insinuating it was WWE who cut out the match, not them:

"Our rights to WWE content allow us to post pre-formatted 90-minute specials of Raw.

We don't make any edits on our end, but we'll share the concern about the omitted match

with the right team here."

Woken Matt Hardy has dealt with this in the most Woken Matt Hardy way possible: in character.

"I've learned of the BLASPHEMY that the OBSOLETE MULE @MichaelCole SPEWED from his

MUZZLE..

@Vanguard1AAR, put this HERETIC on your SURVEILLANCE schedule.

If this continues, he must be DELETED!

#UltimateDELETION" A command which Vanguard 1 quickly obeyed:

"SURVEILLANCE ORDER CONFIRMED: @MICHAELCOLE CURRENT LOCATION: DALLAS, TX THE EYE IN THE

SKY IS WATCHING" And speaking to TMZ, Matt issued the following

challenge to his boss Vince McMahon: "If McMahon has any issues with it, then

I certainly have a spot here at the Hardy Compound where I can DELETE him yessss.

Señor Benjamin would love to start digging a hole for him yesssss..."

But given the Ultimate Deletion's performance in both TV ratings and YouTube views, MeekMahon

might've changed his mind.

The Jeff Hardy return clip of the match currently has over 2 million views on YouTube [IMAGE],

and while not as big a number as the previous week, Raw still drew a respectable 3.31 million

viewers - with the third hour, where Ultimate Deletion took place, managing to average over

3 million, which Raw rarely manages.

The Jacket: Yes, or No?

But while the Ultimate Deletion appears to be over with fans, popular opinion seems to

be turning against my beloved sexy jacket.

I initially got it as a 'we've passed half a million subscribers' joke, but now

I've become rather attached to the old thing.

Sadly, as of yesterday, some viewers disagree: "Oli, my guy, how much longer are you going

to keep wearing that jacket?😂" "Oli you may be my favorite member of WrestleTalk

but isn't it time to take the jacket off?

You're seriously looking like Oli the Jungle Pimp." I don't know why that's a

problem?

Just like how WWE listens to their Universe about changing inappropriately named Women's

Battle Royals, we here at WrestleTalk also value the opinion of the SWAFT Nation.

So click the 'i' above my head to vote for the fate of the jacket.

We've had a good run, pal.

I've been Oli Davis, and that was wrestling.

Budget Cuts Have Created A Brand New War On The Poor - Duration: 5:54.

Welcome back to Ring of Fire.

I'm Mike Papantonio here with Peter Mougey.

The proposed 2019 Federal Budget includes drastic cuts to the legal system that could

result in fewer public defenders being able to defend indigent defendants.

This means that more and more people will be put in jail just because they couldn't

afford a lawyer.

To put it bluntly, they'll go to jail for being poor.

But it's more involved than that, it's not just the public defender kind of problem.

It also has to do with people that need all types of legal help when things like divorces

and custody ... There's a whole chain of events that take place in people's lives every day.

But what if you don't have access to it, what if there's just no way that you can afford

a lawyer?

Well, what ends up happening is you become a victim.

What's your take on this?

These are big cuts.

It is-

These are big-

There is one-

... cuts.

... story out of this that I really liked.

It set the framework in this stage for why the LSC, Legal Services Corporation, which

helps provide legal services to people who can't afford it, but the one story was the

example out of Delaware where they had received a lot of complaints about a specific landlord.

That landlord was running homes for people that had mental challenges and were mentally

handicapped in some way.

What he was doing ... They didn't have heat, they didn't have hot water, they didn't have

... The sewage was backed up in the basements.

What LSC did was they investigated these-

Well, LSC-

... complaints-

... is Legal Services, yeah.

That's right.

They investigated the complaints, and they ended up going after the landlord because

he was taking money, 4 or $500 a month, he had 15 to 20 houses, stacked people in them.

He rented out the bedrooms for disabled people, and they were literally living with no heat,

no hot water and sewage, charging them $500 a month and they had no voice.

So what LSC gave them was a voice.

These folks couldn't afford lawyers-

Well, let-

... but it gave them a voice.

There are stories like this all over the country.

Well, yeah, there are.

I mean, look, here's the thing.

You're talking about consumer fraud where they have ... They want to make a claim for

consumer fraud, child custody, domestic abuse, divorce, termination of public benefits such

as welfare or food stamps, disability benefits, Social Security benefits, somebody has to

represent people who can't afford an attorney.

Now-

We can strip away all the regulations-

Yeah, there-

... and all the money [crosstalk 00:02:30]-

... is ... There's a pro bono system that our firm does.

We do a lot of pro bono and have for a long time.

But that doesn't solve the day ... Pro bono is we just agree to do work for no charge.

But you can't really get at this problem unless you have a system set up.

In 1974, this system was set up and they said "We're going to have legal services where

we have lawyers and paralegals and social workers and investigators that are going to

take care of these claims for people that just can't afford to pay for an attorney and

that they can't find pro bono lawyers that'll do it for them."

So the point is this ... Here's where the story, to me, is really ugly, Peter.

The Trump administration, of course, and the Republicans that are just falling in line

with the Trump administration argument here, they basically wanted to ... They want to

give this organization one check for $33 million, and here's what they say, "One shot, $33 million,

use the money to close your operation down."

That's basically what they're saying to them.

They asked for funding ... Last year or year before that, they came in funding about $380

million that pays for all of this all over the country, which is ... The staff and the

lawyers are paid just minimum wages, and so they said "Well, we don't want to raise it.

We're going to let you go through this year but at the end of this year, be ready because

we may give you one more check for $33 million and you're going to have to close down your

entire operation."

It's a sad story.

I'll tell you, I love the quote that said there's a justice gap.

You're a big company, not main street America, you can afford a lawyer.

Main street America and those below can't afford legal representation.

I love Oklahoma's model.

Think about this for a minute.

It's not just .... and this isn't really criminal.

Oklahoma's taking the money from the Federal Government and they embed lawyers where people

congregate, so domestic violence shelters, to give those people access, the women, access

to the litigation system.

They can go get a restraining order.

It helps them protect themselves.

Health clinics, substance abuse clinics, access to lawyers to help people rise up-

Well-

... from the bottom.

... there is some of that.

I mean, they have lawyers if you ... Lawyers graduate out of law school, like both you

and I do, with huge bills that we had to pay off.

They give you the opportunity to say "You want to go to work for say a tribe, an Indian

tribe, you can do that for a couple years and we'll cut back on what you owe us."

You could do this the same way with attorneys.

You could simply say "Look, you're going to have to work for two years in legal services

to pay-

And we'll wipe away your debt.

... this back and wipe away your debt," because ... Let me just tell you, there's 1.7 million

people that used this last year and it's going to get a lot worse, and here's the requirement.

In order to justify being able to use the services, you have to be making $15,000 a

year.

Or less.

Or less.

If you're a family, a household of four, $30,000.

Now, I mean, come on.

These are people with no voice.

[inaudible 00:05:46]-

It gives them a voice and now we've cut off funding and said "You have no ability to consult

or find a lawyer."

Yeah.

Young Nurse Adopts Abused Baby Only To Hear Caseworker Drop Bombshell About Infant's Twin - Duration: 3:39.

Young Nurse Adopts Abused Baby Only To Hear Caseworker Drop Bombshell About Infant's Twin

In March 2017, a baby girl named Delilah was admitted to Wolfson Children's Hospital in

Jacksonville, Florida.

It didn't take long for the staff to realize the horrible truth, that Delilah had been

neglected and abused.

The poor 14-month-old infant was completely malnourished and suffered from broken bones

and a fracture to her skull.

Her injuries were the result of "non-accidental trauma."

It takes a special type of monster to do this to a child.

But there was an angel in disguise waiting to rescue her.

Jess Hamm, a 30-year-old nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit, was working at the hospital

that day when she spotted Delilah, tiny, skinny and weak - but miraculously, this strong baby

girl was still alive and fighting for her life.

Jess walked over to Delilah and her broken heart filled up with love when the baby looked

into her eyes and grabbed her finger.

It was right at that very moment Jess knew what she needed to do: she was going to take

Delilah home and adopt her.

She knew in her gut that she could provide this baby with all the love and care she deserved

but never had before.

In order to go from Delilah's nurse to Delilah's new mom, Jess set up a meeting with the caseworkers

at the Florida Department of Children and Families.

But while sitting down with the staff and filling out the adoption paperwork, Jess learned

some new information about Delilah that stunned her to the core and changed everything. As

it turned out, Delilah had a twin sister - and that twin sister was in desperate need of

saving.

This all happened about two years ago, and quite a lot has taken place in Jess' home

ever since.

This woman deserves all the recognition she is getting online and throughout her community.

She is truly an inspiration!
