Hi! I'm Susana from Pink & Fun,

and as I already told you on my facebook page

I'll start a collaboration with the store "La Tienda de las Manualidades"

so, in this video, I'll show you everything that they sent me

for me to create some projects

I'll put box aside, to make some space

and I'll start by showing you this super cute card

Marta, Sílvia, Jordi: thank you very much!

They sent something that I consider a must have

that is a double sided tape roll with 50 m large and 1 cm wide

Another craft essential tool they sent me

was this 5'' non-stick precision scissors

and it's very similar

to my favorite scissors

so, i'm pretty sure that I'm gonna love it

I received this silicone adhesive bottle

and this pack of 3D adhesive foam squares

which I really love to use to give dimension to the projects

a pack of paper flowers

and a mini scoring board

you can see the size compared with the size of my hand

it is perfect to make cards, envelopes, boxes

and some embellishments

all the instructions are here

it has a scoring tool

and it's in inches

here is a ruler in centimeters

but it is only indicative

because the lines to crease, are aligned with the inches

I also received a very interesting punch that round corners

and to make notches

to create envelopes and tabs

I got candies

and of course

I received 2 scrapbooking paper collections

one is from Marisa Bernal,

called "A Special Day"

it's a very neutral collection, perfect to a lot of different projects,

but that can be complemented

with olther papers sold separately,

and adapt to a special occasion

This, for example, is for a girl's 1st Communion

and this for a boy

this one has several frames and an alphabet

The other collection is very funny

and I fell in love with it

It is from "El Altillo de los Duendes"

and it is called "Ofelia between Stoves"

in Portuguese: "Ofélia entre fogões"

in this video tutorial we are talking about Myriophyllum plant

and all varieties

This plant comes from the family Haloragaceae and is widespread in South America and the USA

the name Myriophyllum comes from the Greek:

Myriòs means "thousands", while phyllum means "leaf"

The dimensions and colors are variable from variety to variety

we can only say that all Myrios are characterized by segmented leaves and vertical growth

that reach 30/40 cm in height and almost always on a single stem

It is a medium or backgound plant depending on the tank in which it is to be used

and has the characteristic of filling the space since it has a very voluminous effect

It adapts to different lighting conditions, changing its appearance and its speed of growth

it develops better in soft and rather acid waters

If the ph drops below 6.5 it absorbs large amounts of nutrients

It is possible to grow it even in slightly alkaline waters

but not with the same results, we suggest a temperature never below 20 ° Celsius

This kind of plant can be indicated as a good adversary of algae

for its fast growth and characterized by a strong demand for nutrients

let see now the most famous varieties

MYRIOPHYLLUM MATOGROSSENSE:

The name from which it derives refers to Mato Grosso

but it is widespread throughout western Brazil, Perù and Ecuador in Colombia and Bolivia

It is definitely the most suitable Myriophyllum for the Amazonic aquarium

for many reasons linked to chemical and physical parameters

After all, it is there that has been living for milions of years

and we know that it is easier to support Nature rather than fight it

The Myriophyllum Mattogrossense has been confused for at least 25 years with the Tuberculatum

The cultivation of Myriophyllum, in the aquarium

The stem tends to store large quantities of iron, whose concentration is inconsistent in its natural habitat

For this reason, its color can change from dark green to bright red

precisely based on the abundance of iron in the water

Among all the varieties of Myriophyllum is the easiest to grow in the aquarium

Like many plants with fine leaves, it needs clean water with no suspended debris

since lying on the leaves could interfere with the chlorophyll photosynthesis

the light must be intense and abundant

It prefers cold water at high temperatures and produces numerous side jets

which can be removed and replanted by producing new plants

In nature reproduces with fruits and seeds

in the aquarium instead we can multiply it by cutting

then making a clean cut roughly in the middle of the stem

and then replanting it in groups of 3 - 4 at a distance of at least 4 -5 cm from the others

to allow total exposure to light even in the lower part of the plant

Myriophyllum is an aquatic plant absolutely "hungry" for quantity

but also for variety of nutrients

This plants need a lot and everything

there is no nutritive element that is not essential for their growth

It feeds on nitrates but also needs phosphates

for those who have always worried about it

with these plants it will have to stop doing it

maybe it will have to add them artificially

In addition to the need for lots of light, it also needs the administration of CO2

They usually absorb nutrients directly from the water

The Myriophyllum can therefore live on sand or inert gravel

The Upside of Being Awkward - Duration: 5:40.

So the other day I went to shake someone's hand and they went for a fistbump and then

I went for a high five and then they went back to a handshake.

Awkward.

We've all fumbled, tripped and rolled our way into some pretty awkward situations.

So I wanted to explore why these uncomfortable situations make us feel awkward.

And it may come as a surprise that awkwardness can have benefits.

The feeling of awkwardness seems to trigger several emotions at once: Anxiety, surprise,

fear, embarrassment, uncertainty.

But most importantly, it makes you feel self-conscious.

In her new book, Cringeworthy: A Theory of Awkwardness, science journalist Melissa Dahl

suggests that Awkwardness is when you suddenly become overly

conscious of yourself, because you become acutely aware that the "you" you perceive

of yourself is different from what others are seeing.

It's thought that our strong sense of self and our social awareness evolved because we're

an extremely social species.

We needed to be aware of our public perception to know how we should behave to fit in.

Psychologists think we construct two mental presentations of our "self."

One private self from within our own body, and another self that is perceived by others

from their point of view.

The ability to imagine ourselves from the point of view of others emerges early on.

Children start to recognize themselves in a mirror around the age of 18 months.

If you put a sticky note on their head, they immediately reach to remove it once they see

it in the mirror.

But children are not just aware of themselves.

Around this time, they seem to also form awareness of the awareness of other people about them

– co-awareness.

If they see that everyone else in the room has a sticky note on their faces, they hesitate

to remove their own.

Now, there's always a little bit of discrepancy between these two selves.

It's what psychologist Philippe Rochat has called "the irreconcilable gap."

We can never quite reconcile how we feel about ourselves and how we feel others perceive

us.

Awkward moments are when that gap is unusually widened.

Imagine you walk into a room full of people and you're dressed like an astronaut.

Suddenly, the world divides in two: it's you on one side, and all the people on the

other side with their eyes on you.

Awkwardness is a type of embarrassment where everyone is in on it.

And everyone, politely, says nothing.

The good news is that we tend to believe we're being noticed more than we actually are.

This is called the spotlight effect.

In a classic experiment, researchers made students wear a large shirt emblazoned with

Barry Manilow's face and walk into a room full of other students.

Later they asked the study participants how many people they think noticed them.

The participants estimated on average half of the people noticed the shirt.

In reality, only a quarter had.

People do care about how you look and what you do, but not as much as you think.

Knowing this little fact can help us shift our focus away from ourselves and make awkward

moments a bit less painful.

Not focusing on yourself can also help you resolve an awkward situation.

Imagine you are in the middle of an uneasy conversation, maybe with someone whose name

you don't remember.

Your brain's default is to dive into a spiral of anxiety.

Now you worry about what you are going to say next and how you're going to be judged

and wonder why you are so socially awkward.

But this makes your social skills even worse.

Instead, focus on the other person, ask them a question, anything.

Just stop being so introspective.

Another trick to overcome the rush of social anxiety during awkward moments is to reframe

your feelings.

Anxiety means strong physiological reactions: your heart pounds, you breathe fast and your

muscles are tense.

These are the same reactions you feel when afraid or angry, when your safety is threatened.

And you feel these reactions when you mess up in a social situation.

Your brain is evolved to fear breaking too many social rules because it can lead to social

rejection.

But there's also another emotion that has the same physiological reactions: excitement.

You can reinterpret the feelings of your anxiety in your body as excitement by telling yourself

"I am excited."

It's called anxiety reappraisal and it can change your mental state from a threat mindset

to an opportunity mindset.

Experiments show that when we're feeling nervous about, say, karaoke singing or public

speaking, people who reappraise their anxiety as excitement perform better than people who

try to calm down.

People have varying degrees of social skills and some of us are more sensitive to awkwardness

than others.

While these ideas can help us handle awkwardness a bit better, it's also important to give

credit to this neglected emotion.

It's a good thing that we're aware of ourselves and care about how others perceive

us.

Feeling awkward can push us to sharpen our social skills.

And when we detect awkwardness in others, it can spur empathy and compassion in us.

Awkwardness has the power to connect us through mutual human ridiculousness.

The MG ZS is a British-designed, Chinese-made baby SUV.

It goes head to head with the likes of Mazda's Japanese-built CX-3 and the Korean-built Hyundai

Kona.

The truth is, buyers are spoilt for choice and manufacturers have their work cut out.

So has the MG ZS got what it takes to be a contender?

Two models – Soul and Essence – are differentiated by their engines and transmissions.

The spec and feature lists are near identical except for a panoramic sunroof and push button

start the notable difference in the top-shelf Essence model.

The ZS is a front-wheel-drive SUV paired with conventional automatic transmissions only

and no plans for anything beyond that at this stage.

It's great to see an 8-inch screen and Apple CarPlay front and centre.

Cabin space, outward visibility, ergonomics and oddment storage are all great – but

the lack of steering-wheel reach adjust is an oversight.

The second row offers plenty of space – look at this leg room!

In this segment, it feels generous particularly if you're looking to transport three second

row occupants on a regular basis.

A seven-year/unlimited kilometre warranty and roadside assist is a welcome touch, matching

class-leaders such as Kia.

Where the MG ZS struggles to compete is its drive-ability, falling short of its rivals

for feel at the wheel and chassis control.

It's a comfortable ride but lacks the grip and composure of others in this segment.

The boot is large enough and there's a light… but no anchor points or bag hooks.

Driver assistance technologies are light on, too – there's no autonomous emergency

braking, lane departure warning or blind sport monitoring.

Where space and comfort are concerned, the cavernous MG ZS lays down the challenge – but

the value for money proposition requires improvement for this Chinese protagonist to be truly competitive.

10 Times BTS Members Couldn't Hide Their Fanboy Feels For BIGBANG

As more and more BIGBANG members complete their national duties, we begin to realize how much well be missing them these days. But were not the only ones out there who will miss them.

Over the years, we have seen many artists express their admiration and gratitude towards the BIGBANG members for their leadership and contributions to the K-pop scene, and BTS is definitely at the forefront of this.

While this list barely grazes the surface of the BIGBANG fanboy instances, heres a list of times the BTS members let their VIP status show.

1. Original Soundtrack by Golden Maknae

There wasnt any background music planned, but Jungkook took care of that. How many BIGBANG songs can you count in this clip alone? There might not even be enough fingers!.

2. Eyes, Nose, Lips obsession

This is one of those moments when you love a song so much that you create your own music video to it.

For the members of BTS, they created one in the waiting room and made multiple Bangton Bombs to capture just how much they like Taeyangs Eyes, Nose, Lips. You can see how it takes Jungkook a little time to warm up to singing on camera.

But once hes comfortable, he cant stop singing!.

3. Waiting room adventures

Leave it up to BTS to use up every free minute to dance along to BIGBANG.

And they sure are into it! Here we have V almost falling off the couch, Jin sneaking in his moves between shots, and Suga taking a break from getting his makeup done; all this just to jam out to their favorite tunes.

4. Karaoke room adventures

If youve never gone to a karaoke room before, these videos might serve as a great tutorial.

They exhibit passion, energy, and a lot of top of the lung shouting and singing! And of course the members of BTS would choose multiple BIGBANG songs when in these rooms.

5. Ringa Linga dance time

Here we have another Bangtan Bomb dedicated to covering a song of Taeyangs. You can see the joy and cheesiness in their eyes, and how much theyre loving making this bomb!.

6. I Need A Girl cover

This isnt your typical radio visit. This considered a serious homage to an artist they highly respect as theyre singing another artists song for a radio show. Can you imagine how excited they were to do so?.

It has become quite normal for the BTS members to share with us what theyre listening to, which helps us further understand their style and inspirations.  Who here is surprised that BIGBANGs music is in their heavy rotations?.

Theres absolutely no question that if you ask the members of BTS who they look up to, they will answer with the members of BIGBANG. They have truly been inspirational to BTS and many other artists out there.

This is a perfect example of VIPS jamming out to a song that gets them all excited. You can tell the members absolutely cannot contain themselves and rightfully so. The song is just so catchy!.

How To Tie A Sewing Knot | Stitch Lessons | @laurenfairwx - Duration: 2:24.

Hi! It's Lauren and today on Stitch Lessons, I'm going to show you how I tie the big

sewing knot that I use when I'm hand sewing or embroidering in order to keep my thread

from pulling through the fabric.

Especially when you're sewing with certain kinds of fabric that small knots can go right

through or using a really thin thread that requires a ton of knots, tying the right kind

of knot can really save you a lot of time.

I'm going to show you the knot I use, and if you've ever watched one of my craft tutorials

and tried to figure out how I tied that thing, this is the video for you.

Here's how it's done!

So here, I have a strand of embroidery floss.

Grab onto the end using your thumb and middle finger, then use your other hand to wrap the

rest of the string around your pointer finger until the ends cross right over the pad of

your finger.

Press your thumb onto that X, letting go of the end you were holding, and roll that crossing

point between your thumb and forefinger.

See how it twists a bunch of times?

Hold onto the end of that twist using your middle finger and part of your thumb to keep

it from coming undone, then firmly grab the top of the twist with your pointer finger

and the tip of your thumb.

To tighten it, tug on the loose end of the thread until it becomes a big, messy knot.

I'm going to do it again in case you missed that; keep trying if it doesn't work on

the first try.

Hold the end with your middle finger and thumb, wrap the thread around your pointer finger

until you have an X on the pad of your finger.

Press your thumb onto the X and roll it upwards so the thread gets twisted a bunch of times,

passing the end of it from your pointer to your middle finger to keep it from unraveling.

Then, pinch the top of the twist between your thumb and forefinger and pull on the loose

end to slide the twist down into a big sewing knot.

If you end up with a smaller knot than you were expecting or your thread is very thin,

feel free to repeat this more than once to make the knot bigger.

There are definitely projects where a big knot would be too obvious or show through

your fabric, and then you might want to try a different method of securing your thread.

But for plushies and other sewing projects where the back is hidden, this works really

well for me!

And that's how I tie a big sewing knot.

Jeep Wrangler RBP Pro-Series Rock Rails (2007-2018 JK 4 Door) Review & Install - Duration: 4:16.

These RBP Pro-series Rock Rails are for those of you that have a four-door 2007 and up JK

that are looking for some pretty solid rocker protection that's also a little bit different

from some of the other options on the market as far as the way it looks and the way that

it installs.

This is going to be a two-out-of-three wrench installation because it does require drilling

a hole through your frame, but that's also where some of the additional strength comes

from.

So if you're gonna be using your rock sliders for a rock slider, not just for looks and

not as a step, you're gonna want that additional strength and this is gonna be a nice option.

However, for the additional strength, for the additional intricacy and the unique styling

that you're gonna get from this rock slider, you're also going to pay a bit of a premium.

These are gonna be more expensive than some of the other options out there.

However, again, they're gonna be stronger and they're gonna give you a unique look.

These are going to be a steel rock slider that's going to mount just below the pinch

seam, but then also have this section here that will wrap up around the side of the Jeep

and actually cover up that rocker, giving you that additional protection.

So these are gonna be very strong.

They're gonna do their job well.

As you can see, they have a plate here.

Of course, the RBP logo.

It has a little bit of a mesh steel behind it, giving you that bit of a unique look that

we talked about before.

These are also going to be completely coated in a texture black powder coat finish, which

is going to keep them matching a lot of the factory black plastic accents that are on

your Jeep right from the factory as well as a lot of the other after-market parts that

you might install in your Jeep.

Now, like I said, these do mount a little bit differently than a lot of the other sliders

on the market.

These are going to use the body bushing bolts toward the back here on these two mounts and

those are going to be the smaller bolts next to the main body bolt, so not quite as strong

as the armor that attaches to the main body bolts, but still giving you a good bit of

strength.

But over here, this is going to be where these differ from a lot of the other ones.

This is where you're going to drill a whole directly through your frame and use the hardware

that's included to bolt this section directly to the frame.

So where these back mounts maybe lacking just a little bit of strength, this is going to

provide a ton of additional strength.

So, I think you are going to get a very, very strong slider out of this.

And because of the way this is designed, it's not going to be a useful step at all.

So if you're looking for something that's a bit of a hybrid rock slider and step, this

is not going to be a good option.

This is going to be all about the slider.

Now, if I inject my opinion in this a little bit, the RBP logo, being etched in the side

here, not really my speed and a little bit of a turn-off.

However, a lot of you guys are into repping the brands that make the parts you install

on your Jeep.

So if you like that, if it doesn't bother you, it's still going to a very strong slider

option.

So like I said, I'm going to give this a two-out-of-three wrenches because of the drilling through the

frame that's involved in this installation.

The first step is really going to be holding the slider up, getting everything lined up

and mark where you need to drill your hole.

Once you have the hole drilled through the frame, you can go ahead and remove the two

body bushing bolts from both of the body mounts, get these held up in place, get your bolt

that goes through the body that's actually welded onto the slider, get that through,

and then you can start attaching all your hardware.

You'll wanna leave everything a little bit loose until you make sure that everything

is seated properly exactly where you want it and then torque down all of your hardware.

Like I said before, you're getting a very strong slider.

You're also getting a unique design, a unique look, a unique style, and you are going to

pay for those features.

This is going to be just shy of $700 for a pair of sliders for a four-door and that is

going to be toward the top of the range.

I think that if you're looking for a slider that's gonna give you really nice protection,

you're not interested in a step and you like the style, I do think you're gonna get a lot

of strength out of these and they will be worth the price.

However, if you're on a bit more of a budget, you're not into the styling, you don't need

the strength, you want something with a step, of course, there are gonna be other options

out there.

And those options are going to be a little bit less expensive.

So if you're looking for a slider that has some unique styling and a ton of strength,

I definitely recommend taking a look at this option from RBP.

S. Korean military authorities exclude key exercises from Seoul-Washington joint military drills - Duration: 2:31.

A key factor in adjusting the tone for the historic meetings is the Seoul-Washington

joint drills.

It seemed inevitable the delayed annual military event could be scaled down... in light of

the thaw in tensions.

Seoul's defense ministry appears to have separated a couple of key exercises from the regularly

scheduled drills... to shorten the total period.

Oh Jung-hee explains further.

On Tuesday, South Korea's military authorities released the schedules of the upcoming Seoul-Washington

joint military drills.

( 1)Key Resolve, a computerized simulation exercise, will be held for two weeks starting

mid-April...

( 2)and Foal Eagle,... for four weeks starting April 1st.

In the case of Foal Eagle, the duration this year is half that of last year's.

But despite that, Seoul's defense ministry had stressed... the drills will be at a similar

level to those of previous years.

"The exercises will begin on April 1st and be at a similar level to previous years."

But on Wednesday,... it was reported... that this year's Foal Eagle **excluded a couple

of key drills... that were previously included.

One of them is Freedom Banner, a Navy and Marine Corps logistical deployment exercise.

The exercise is to be held as normal in May.

But for this year, the drill has been separated from Foal Eagle -- unlike the past few years

where it was conducted as part of the Foal Eagle drills.

"The training is to be conducted solely by the U.S. side, so it is not appropriate for

us to answer that question.

But South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff says this year's Foal Eagle does not include Freedom

Banner."

A similar case is Max Thunder,... an annual air exercise conducted by Seoul and Washington,...

that's held for two weeks in mid-May.

It's been regarded as part of the annual joint drills for the past two years,... but for

this year, it has also been separated.

The South Korean military answered...

"It'd be problematic if we didn't hold the drills.

But we are conducting the drills, and we believe we could be flexible on a few things."

If the exercises -- Freedom Banner and Max Thunder -- were included in this year's annual

drills,... then the Foal Eagle would've lasted for almost two months.

But Seoul's military authorities chose not to name them as part of Seoul-Washington joint

military drills... which, many say, is not to cause friction in the run-up to inter-Korean

talks and Washington-Pyongyang talks in the next two months.
