Youtube daily report w Apr 26 2018

Hello! First of all, please excuse the filthy motorcycle. I cannot ride it, so I cannot take it to the car wash.

I promised we were going to talk about the OEM BMW navigator. So, here we go.

In its last iteration, the BMW navigatior is called Navigator VI.

And it comes in rigid case made of a fairly tough fabric, which gives me confidence it could protect the navigator from drops.

But this thing will clear your pockets of about 700 euros.

Now, anybody could say that, as we are in 2018, any phone can be used as a navigator.

Of course you can, but is the phone completely integrated with the motorcycle?

It's not!

For the phone, you need a handlebar mount, you need to keep it charging while using it as a navigator,

because the GPS receiver uses a lot of power.

Even if it's mounted on the handlebars, you still have to take your eyes off the road to look at the map.

Joking aside, let's fit this thing to the motorcycle and see what else it can do, besides telling you the way to go.

Before fitting it to the motorcycle, let me first tell you why I said it is completely integrated.

First of all, we have the navigation mount, which is fitted above the dials with a rail.

And we also have, on the left handle...

the left grip,

a rocker wheel, with four degrees of freedom.

You can turn either to the front or backwards, or you can rock it left or right.

After I fit the navigator on, I will show you what each of the four movement does.

In order to fit it you need...

the key fob,

It has a lock.

You unlock towards the left.

I've already complained about this.

It has a locking lever on the back, which secures both the safety cap and the navigator when installed.

In order to remove the safety cap, you have to press...

the lever on the right side.

After you've removed the cap, you will expose the pins through which the navigator

interfaces to the bike and charges.

It looks...

like this.

This is the front side. This is what you will be looking at.

On the back side, it has...

the contact that will come over the pins in the mount,

as well as a button that you can use to power the navigator on

and perform different tasks on it when it is out of the mount.

In order to fit it on, you have to align the lower side to the lower hook,

after which...

you press

a little harder

and on the top side, it has some spring mounts that will secure it in place.

What I realized at some point was that, after you fit the navigator, you can lock it

without having inserted the safety lever.

I saw this after about 200 kilometers

and I was lucky I did not accidentally touch the pin to release it from the mount.

So, first of all,

you secure the navigator. After which you lock...

and you are ready to go.

The key cannot be removed

as long as the navigator is not locked.

So you cannot remove the key and leave it unlocked, risking having it stolen off the bike.

You can only remove the key after having locked.

The navigator will power on automatically when you turn on the ignition on the bike.

With a small observation that, if it has stayed off the bike for a long time and the battery has discharged,

it wil take...

let's say twenty minutes to half an hour until it will charge the battery enough to power on.

Besides the main, GPS function, depicted by two large icons,

the map and the address search,

there are four extra buttons on the bottom side.

It's obvious what the volume button does.

One thing that I really like about the navigator is that

you can connect it both to your intercom and phone via Bluetooth.

This gives you the option to control your phone, through your intercom, by the navigation.

And I've returned to this menu

in order to show you what the phone button does.

You have access

to your phone contacts by Bluetooth...

to your call history...

you can dial a number directly off the navigator...

and you have the option to save fast dial numbers.

And, as we are covering the pairing between the navigator, the phone and the intercom,

there is also an app, called Media Player, where you can see, on the navigator, the song that is playing.

And you can also control the songs. You can play, you can pause...

you can rewind or change the song.

Some other apps that are really cool are

Tracks.

Which saves the places where you've been in short intervals - from when you started the bike up and switched it off.

We also have...

the weather app.

If you pair the navigator to your phone and install a Garmin app on the phone

Because, by the way, the navigator is made by Garmin.

It can download the weather news from the web and display it on the screen.

There is also an app called Round Trip, where you can plan a destination and the navigator will compute a return route.

There's also a Fuel Price app, that I've never used.

Another one of the apps is called Last Spot, which tells you where you parked your bike.

And...

the Where I've Been app, which is very similar to Tracks.

The difference is that, unlike Tracks, which saves small segment routes, from start up to switch off...

Where I've been saves the entire track that you've ridden on one particular day.

Oh, and that's also cool because you can download the .gpx file to your computer and do whatever.

There is also an Alarm Clock...

that I've never used.

A Unit Converter...

if you're into such things.

And..

that is kind of it with the bike off.

In Settings, you can change all the settings that you normally would on a navigator.

From the handlebar rocker wheel, which is very useful in the sense that you do not have to take your hand off the handlbar

in order to change whatever on the navigator...

you can

rock the wheel left or right

which will allow you to scroll through the predefined menus that can be controlled by the rocker wheel.

From the main menu, one click to the right will take you to the map.

Where you can zoom by rotating the wheel.

One more click to the right will take you to the window showing the compass and the heading.

I think this is very useful if you are on unpaved roads...

or if you go off-roading and need to follow a certain heading - just follow the compass.

One more click to the right will take you to a menu that, again, I've never used, because the predefined windows are useful enough.

But you can input different commands in the navigator.

One more click will take you to the My Motorcycle window

I find this very interesting, because the navigator communicates to the bikes and feeds you back a lot of parameters.

There are four zoom levels: you can display one, two, four or sixteen parameters.

And you can change the zoom level by using the rocker wheel and turning it to the front or towards you.

You can obviously choose the bike parameters to be displayed in each of the boxes.

Some of them are redundant, because you can also see them in the dash.

But I think it is nicer to have them right in front of you while riding.

I, for example, use the four box screen and display the speed, the ambient temperature,

the engine temperature and the fuel range.

One more click to the right will take you back to the map.

And this is just about all you can do with the rocker wheel. To scroll through predefined windows...

while riding.

And to zoom the map in and out, or change the number of displayed parameters.

One thing I do not like is that you cannot go back to the main menu with the rocker wheel.

You first have to press back here.

And, if you are riding and want to make a phone call...

you cannot reach the phone functionality by using the rocker wheel.

You have to take your hand off the handlebar, click on the phone icon, search through the contacts and then call.

I don't really get it. If they gave me the option of making calls from the navigator...

why not let me reach the functionality with the rocker wheel?

That's something I don't like.

The thing I like the most about it is that, straight from the map window,

where you can see the directions and so on...

there is an icon which shows you all the warnings that the bike relays to the navigator.

For example, at this moment, because the ignition is on the bike has not yet done the ABS and DTC tests,

I have the warning lights on in the dash,

but I also have the warnings displayed on the navigator.

Besides that, if you start running low on fuel and the reserve indicator lights up,

A fuel pump icon will be displayed here.

If you click it, it will display the nearest gas stations and you can start navigating directly to one of them.

Again, you cannot do this with the rocker wheel. You need to take your hand off the handlebars,

touch the icon, and then select the gas station you want to ride to.

That is it, I think.

If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments section and I will try to answer them,

As a conclusion, I find the navigator very useful. The mounting spot is very economical,

you don't have to take your eyes off the road to look at the map,

it has some really cool apps,

I love the fact that I can control my media directly from the rocker wheel,

I hate that I cannot make calls from the same rocker wheel.

But it is too expensive.

If you want it, you first have to get the navigator preparation, which consists of

the mount and the rocker wheel.

On my bike, they came with the Touring package. Because I wanted all the package on it anyway.

But if you want to get the navigator preparation separately, it costs 200 euros.

So, 200 euros for the navigator preparation. Plus 700 euros for the navigator itself,

you will get to about 1000 euros.

I think that is way too much. A fair price would be somewhere around 500 euros.

I got the navigator from an acquaintance, for about 550 euros, so I got out cheaper.

That's all. Thanks!

The Art of Making Tattoos: Valentin Hirsch on Transience - Duration: 20:34.

As a kid, romantically, I wanted to become a painter -

to stand in the forest with an easel, and depict nature - very naive.

Also quite childish, since art didn't actually play a role in my childhood.

All the things that art is today; all its media - neither my parents nor I had any idea about that.

So "artist" always meant "painter"; with an easel and a palette - very romantic - and they depict the world.

That's what I wanted to be; that's what I wanted to sell and make a living from - that was my plan.

Then I understood that drawing is my focus and not painting; I tried graphics and later, when studying,

I understood that printmaking is my thing.

As a child I was fascinated by Moby Dick and tattooed people.

These were outlaws, criminals, thugs, drug addicts etc.

Sadly, with a very negative connotation. And then during my studies, while drawing my diploma pieces,

I understood: "I'm tattooing paper!"

Already back then I had the idea and wish that one day I'd do it:

to learn and see how it might work for me.

Years after having finished my diploma, when I moved from Vienna to Berlin, I finally started it.

Life is in constant motion - it has to, in order to be life.

But this also means that life includes constant decay.

Not just "death", and everything's over -

but "change": one thing stops, the next thing starts. That's how it always is.

But if you want to hold on to something, if something should last longer: "Why's the day already gone?"

"Why do we already have to go to bed again?"

Well - that's the rule here.

That's a tension.. I can't develop work that criticizes society or is political..

I can only deal with those naked poles: life, and death. And in between,

there's this gap. This space.

And that it happens in skin, actually makes it complete -

because this way it only exists for a certain time. People really live with it.

I like that: once they die, it's gone.

It's a different sort of permanence and presence. It's also a sort of waste - to live differently.

Artists want to create monumental sculptures or works of art

which outlast us - and that's totally fine: everything declines, but art stays;

but tattoos are time-dependent because there is an end. All of this,

including working live "into skin", is part of this "extreme" package.

During my years of studying (fine art) when I sat on a copper plate and used a needle

to draw into the etching ground - I always thought of the needle of a tattoo machine.

I was all rebellion and extremes - and both are still there.

I grew up in very complex ways, which resulted in a lot of energy, which

actually comes from a deep wound. For me there's nothing more extreme than to engrave

under pain, forever, in skin. That's an intense medium.

You change the body: transformation. Of people.

And this extreme responsibility -

"If the etching or print didn't work out, well then let's etch again and use the next plate" -

no. What I was looking for was: here and now, we have exactly one chance

that has to work out - and bye. And if this doesn't work, then you can't

renew the plate - that's the crazy thing. This.. this challenge was what I was looking for, I think.

Combined with a fascination and a FUCK YOU ALL.

I have to say it like that. That's my.. that's why it was always obvious that I

had to engage with outsiders - The people I got to know here - they were freaks.

Fully tattooed, fully pierced freaks. And I always liked that.

It doesn't follow any convention. It was a sub-culture, which expanded into a bubble, and now

everyone's getting tattoed. I was always rather introverted:

As artist you smoke & drink yourself to death, in your studio, and that's it -

noone ever knows you. That was still this romantic idea that I had. I was a chain smoker.

I left all this shit behind - this annihilating crap-shit. You don't need to swig and smoke like a chimney

to be a "cool artist" - that's idiocy.

After an appointment I always levitate like this.

Like someone who just played a concert - I first have to get down again.

How do I do this? Then family kicks in - that was very challenging and created lots of tension.

How do I find a balance between my job and the normal life: "Go grocery-shopping, there's no more toilet paper " - oh my.

But it all has to be. It's all part of the deal. But you first have to learn to accept this.

For me, aesthetics are the first important access code - not necessarily to an art work, but to an object, image etc.

How does it look like? Is it random and nothing, then I'll vomit and leave.

Does it have an aesthetics and does it speak to me and attract me - at first, aesthetic is a kind of philosophy of visuality.

Etchings, symmetries - why? It's obvious: because of aesthetics, of effects.

I researched symmetries intensely , and still do.

As a child, I worshipped the Volkswagen Beetle - specifically the "Brezelkäfer"

with its split rear window. Split rear window.

Two animal heads. It's all aesthetics, design, form. Porsche, Volkswagen -

symmetries in cars, both headlights equal, etc. This influenced and attracted me a lot, plus

asymmetry in nature - there's no perfect symmetry there, only in artificual situations -

and that became my topic. I think it'a also about completeness, perfection - which in turn

has a lot to do with aesthetics. I really wanted to tie this medium up to my past

and continue the aesthetic that I already had developed - but on skin.

Ultimately, it really was about establishing an aesthetics that works in tattoos -

not just "to tattoo" (previous designs) but to see whether it actually works.

And this of course involves images, symbols, signs and forms, and they have to be appealing -

to me. And that's how you can judge whether it's good and to be pursued, or bad and to be discarded.

I tried to work in light and dark, in "mother and father of all colors" - to express myself.

For me, this works best. I can enjoy color tattoos,

and think that they're awesome, but it's not my preferred medium or way of expression.

The various personalities and humans that you tattoo, they all emit energy -

it's always an exchange of energies. It's a very close situation, you're always

very close the the person, the client - since you engrave directly into a living body.

There's no shelter, no intimacy - you can't withdraw to produce the work to then show it -

but instead you have to produce while being watched by the client.

Thankfully you get experienced. The first tattoos were a nightmare.

I had such a headache afterwards - I thought if this stress doesn't stop,

I can't continue with this. You have to work towards something, and then you have to

establish your own relationship to your medium.

I think that's the same that a painter, photographer or performance artist has to learn:

to establish a relationship with what they're doing - which is only relevant to you and your medium;

other people won't ever know about this. But only through this relationship, which is

based on humbleness, carefulness and the idea of wanting to learn

from mistakes, and not to open one's trap too much - it's only through this that you can grow, get better

and learn to find trust. At first, the artistic, the creative aspect is very distant.

It's not about this: you make a star, you repair an old tattoo -

it's only about technique, the motive doesn't matter at all. The challenge is to transcend this

and to build up trust in yourself, and to develop a feeling for the medium

and get rid of this fear of failure: "Something went wrong".

"I won't make it". "Did I saddle myself with too much?"

You need to get a feeling for time; how long will I need for a hand-sized tattoo at this or that position?

Originally it took three times as long as today - so there are many things that cause stress and insecurities.

That's all because of you wanting to learn the medium. The next thing is your artistic demand, which at first needs to shut up -

because you just have to use all sorts of crappy motives to understand how to use the machine.

I had lots of ups and downs, inner struggles - on the one hand: I can't forever repeat making half heads!

but also: what else should I tattoo?

And then there are those who approach this more playfully and say

"That's nice", "That's quite cool", and who experiment - this leads to awesome works.

But I don't want what's "nice", checking out my options - I'd rather stay focused, with my magnifying glass -

because I know that ultimately, the topic won't change. Life would have to change drastically for me to only paint sunsets.

I had these phases where I thought that I needed something new - that the clients wanted to see new things.

But then you start focusing your stupid "likes" etc. I understand that - we're all humans,

so of course we have fears. Last year I though that I can't schedule another year - I'll go crazy.

Then taxes, and all of a sudden it's money, appointment, money, appointment -

where's your artistic development - it's gone.

But: I'm not through with it. I simply know that it's not done.

It's too much.. well.. "fun" would be an overstatement, but it's too important to simply stop.

I want to walk tiny, slow steps, stay within my subject matter and let changes come slowly.

This happens slowly and organically with me.

There are many things that I care about: my family, making tattoos, but also my empty space.

I don't define myself through the medium - like an artist having to be in the studio. Of course, you need to stick to something -

but it shouldn't define you. I don't feel guilty if I'm not in the studio every day -

I'm not a painter. These are quite weird ideas that evolved, but which have

to be challenged, after university: "Who am I actually?" and "What's best for my art?"

And ultimately, I don't know whether I need to leave something behind, something monumental

that survives a thousand years - maybe I'd rather stay very limited and selfish:

I want to nagivate life creatively - and that's it.

If you have some sort of impulse, the people close to you should support you: "Do it".

That's what should be conveyed to kids and young adults: "You'll make it! Trust yourself, and I'll believe in you."

Don't ask them "Oh God, how will that turn out! What will you do in New York City, in this metropolis?!"

Come on: everyone who's there, is New York City.

So don't be afraid: This is life - you'll always meet new people, and it continues.

You mustn't just see yourself - you have to realize that you're in a constant dialog with the world.

I didn't come to Berlin knowing that I'd become a tattoo artist, open my own studio, travel the world -

I never expected this. I didn't even have Instagram, Facebook etc.

Noone knew me, I was nobody, I simply was here. If you'd told me that it will evolve like this,

that I'd travel the world and work internationally - I'd have said: "Well ok - nice dream."

It's a fearlessness paired with a naive "fuck that" attitude - because what should I be afraid of?

What's this (safety in an) employment situation - even your employer is just a minor situation.

This safety that we all long for - it doesn't exist. Noone wants permanent stress, and it's not healthy either -

and self-employment means stress, but my personality simply developed like that.

This whole mix is what brought me here - but I 'm very aware, constantly aligning and adjusting.

I constantly maneuver my own doubts; up and down, oh God - and I see all this dirt;

another year of Instagram, another year of even more tattoos -

what kind of medium, what kind of community is this - horrible.

But I can say the same about fine art, about performing arts, about .. brewing beer:

Everyone's fucked. Everyone.

Once you understand that, then I thank God that I'm able to live independently, that I can generate enough income

to live here - without needing any support, without having to work for someone else...

That's the challenge: as young adult, when you still depend on so many things: on your studies,

on your parents that help with the rent. This makes it difficult to develop yourself.

But ultimately, I studied art - and of course people kept asking: "What do you want to live off, later on?"

Leave me alone with this idiotic question, else I can't study art! Art academy told us to become proper artists, personalities -

to exhibit in galleries like "Meyer Kainer", and establish your brand.

That was the one option they told us about - but that's not true.

Neither is that only 2% are successful, and everyone else has to wait tables - that's bullshit.

It's way more complex and diverse than we believe, that's why in my case,

I tattoo under the guise of fine arts - and thank God I don't need a gallery, no clinking glasses, nothing.

That's a very comfortable situation - it's a present.

But ultimately it's about creativity. What matters is that you live with it,

and are not in cramps and fears and needs, thinking you need to produce so you can sell -

that's all a fucking nightmare. I never envisioned what it meant to be self-employed;

wasn't I always working on my own? Even during my studies - it was me that had to do it.

So why be afraid of it all? Plus we're in Germany or Austria -

nothing bad will happen to you. Even if you're unemployed for a year; we always forget that:

this is a nest of feathers.

There are no fears - you simply have to dare, and really, that 's essential: you need the courage to do something.

That's where Berlin helped me a lot, because it was a neutral space. I could start again,

didn't know anyone, could reboot. In Vienna on the other hand

I had a 9 year history, knew everything, knew the art scene - it would have been quite difficult

to take that seed.. because I already had something.. which had to go.

I'm deeply grateful - if I die tomorrow, everything's OK.

That I can say - it's not that I'm at peace, and definitely not with the world.

The longer you're part of it, the more it hurts because it's even emptier than you already knew years ago.

That hurts.

It's uncontrollable.. It's a huge compactor -

we're here for a short time, and then we're gone. That's what's crazy.

What do we do with this time - that's the tension.

What completes you? What gives you inner peace?

Success? A Porsche Panamera?

When? When are you satisfied and know "life's good"?

What do you need for that? It's a complex question

because it can be a different thing every day.

So it's not about finding a job, it's about..

about finding your own way. About living.

We all grow older, and one day it's over.

【MUKBANG】 [THE 11th DAY OF DIET] Eating 3Kg OF Salad!! [6Large CRISP SALAD WORKS] 3000kcal[Use CC] - Duration: 11:41.

Hello it's Kinoshita Yuka ( English subtitles by ~Aphexx~ )

So today tadaa do Y'all remember me saying I was goin on a diet?

remend... remember?

From that day onwards I've been walking at least 30 minutes

30 minutes to an hour or so... and so today....

I've decided to try some lower calorie things to eat

I prepped six people's worth of salad It weighed roughly over 3 kg

They look so yummy and so colorful

These are from a rather popular shop in Tokyo called Crisp Salad Works

Y'all goona be shook when I tell you the price of this

The cheapest one is bout $15

And the most expensive one is bout $20

just for a salad.... a salad you guys!!!

veggies so expensive yo

But I got to say that I'm so thankful to be able to eat so much veg so easily like this

the pricing just can't be helped they look so yummy

itadakimasu to drink today is some san pellegrino limonada

I've been buyin' quite a lot of this I don't remember everything about this so I gotta read up on it

in italy they take fresh squeezed lemons and oranges add carbonation and sugar

a very simple drink called limonada and ?aranchatta?

This Is Made by San Pellegrino and since its lemon flavored its a limonada the orange one is probably the other one

Don't these sounds so...... healthy?

its very fresh and only contains natural ingredients And to top it all off it's so tasty and that's why I've

been all about these lately

just look at this... its got a lid like this

If you remove that It looks like this

The cans look sooo fancy

It's also got such a nice Aroma to it You can really smell of lemons

I can totally chug a bunch of these

and now the salad

Let's start off at a downtown Cobb its a large and this is the dressing

The dressing looks so amazing

And this is what it looks like

Packed full of veg

romain, ham, white cheddar, avocado, tomato boiled egg and a butter milk dressing

So much lettuce

The vegetables are so fresh Crispy And delish

avocado

Goes perfectly with the dressing Got a bit of a tang which is yummy

You can also taste the ham in it its so yummy

the ham is so T H I C C its not thinly sliced

They're so big packed full of umami and so yummy

This came with spoons Is it easier to eat with a spoon?

The lettuce is cut so nicely That it's easy to scoop up with a spoon

oh so boiled eggs mean .... ゆでたまご

I thought it was nice that they added eggs to this and it turned out that is what "boiled eggs" are

limonada = yum

The flavor of lemon is so refreshing And that carbonation really cuts through

Next up hipster

And for dressing its got basil onion dressing

Very vinegary It's got pepper in it

It's a very sour dressing and goes so nicely with the veggies

With the added apples in here it adds a dash of sweetness

the walnuts are so tasty

Its flavored with an onion and vinegar dressing

It's got cheese and some celery You can really taste the celery in it

This is what it looks like

apples so yummy

these salads are tasty AF I'm so surprised

Using apples walnuts and celery There's all sorts of different textures making it so fun

There's so many different flavors in one single bite

Is my Japanese correct I wonder? tasting the taste?

Japanese be so tough what I should have said instead was that you

can appreciate many different flavors

next is cal mex I've been calling out all these names but none of

them make a lick of sense to me this is so tough to open...

This is the sauce it's a Mexican honey vinaigrette

Sounds like piglet

so vinegary

With the addition of honey in this dressing It's so nice and sweet

It's very vinegary and also has a bit of pepper

This also has an avocado on it

It has Grilled Chicken in it so very yummy

Also has croutons

These croutons are very crunchy

next up is classic chicken caesar

This one must be there best seller

this dressing looks so darn yummy this caesar looks so yummy

My fave type of dressing cuz' its so cheezy The Romaine is cut up so nicely that its very easy to eat

You can really taste the cheese in it It's a Caesar dressing but its sprinkled with parmesan cheese

Caesar dressing has such strong flavors and its so yummy you can totally taste the anchovy in it

I don't think there are any in it but what I'm saying is its flavored strongly

croutons so yummy

this is the spicy baimai

it comes with a creamy sriracha dressing I've had treats flavored with sriracha before

its got a spicy flavor to it

I had a treat flavored with sriracha that I ate before

The Sriracha dressing is so yummy This reminds me of a creamy chili sauce

It's got bits of carrots Which changes up the flavor profile

Since I'm eating only cold things today I'm starting to get a bit chilly

I was thinking that these are rather expensive But since there is so much veg packed into these bowls

its rather filling and well... not me that is...

It doesn't fill up my tummy that much but its really tiring out my jaw

Since you have to chew so much it makes you think you are fuller than you actually are

It's filled with quite a lot of things romain grilled chicken carrot spicy broccoli cilantro

Sunflower seed.... its got a bunch of things I've never heard of before... they sound like super foods

last up ENC vegan

Wasn't all this stuff vegan already? oh....

oh wait a minute it did have meat in it as well oh thats right... thats right....

I thought that since I was eating salads I was being vegan already

Lemon tahini dressing It's got a very Sesame kind of uhh look to it

so ひまわり seeds are called sunflower seeds wait does sunflower mean ひまわり?

wait its the seeds of the sunflower plant? oh that's right.... that's right...

wow.... So in English they call those sunflowers

The dressing is very Sesame like And the lemon really brightens up the flavor

And sunflower seeds really go nicely with this

So up until now these came with chicken or ham So instead this one has roasted tofu

And this was so nicely with a dressing as well Sesame sauce goes so nicely with tofu

With the added Walnut it has such a fun balance of textures its also sweet and yummy

It's also got corn

Because it has a lid on it it's so nice and clean

I really enjoy their attention to detail like this

Last mouthful itadakimasu

gochisosamadeshita The three kilograms of salad was very yummy

I also feel a bit healthier now

I'm so shook to find out how adding all these Different things to salads make them so tasty

They also came with all sorts of different dressings Which were also very yummy

apples, ham chicken walnuts... croutons and tofu and avocado which I really liked

Salads are nice from time to time So won't you please give them a try as well

And as always thank you for watching if there is anything You want me to eat or do please tell me in the comments section below if you like this video please hit the like And subscribe buttons BAI BAI

SoulWorker 101: Dungeons - Duration: 1:18.

Welcome to SoulWorker 101!

The objective in SoulWorker is to complete dungeons, known in SoulWorker as districts.

You can either do this solo or as part of a team.

To create a group, walk up to another player.

When a smiley icon pops up, left-click and invite the person into your group.

To accept quests, chat with characters who have a big exclamation mark above them.

Once you have completed a quest,

submit it by speaking to the people with a colored question mark above them.

By completing quests, you will level up faster and also get useful items.

As soon as you are ready, choose a district.

The arrows next to the quest-tabs will show you the right way.

When you enter a district, first decide which episode you want to play

and at what difficulty level.

You can also see which quests can be completed in each episode.

Once you enter the district, it's up to you to fight your way through

and slay the boss at the end.

Once you finish the episode, you'll be given a rating and also a reward.

The districts get harder as the game progresses.

So try your best!

motovlog.ro | vlog 9 - review BMW Navigator VI R1200GS - Duration: 11:28.

Artists want to create monumental sculptures or works of art

which outlast us - and that's totally fine: everything declines, but art stays;

but tattoos are time-dependent because there is an end.

I think that's the same that a painter, photographer or performance artist has to learn:

to establish a relationship with what they're doing - which is only relevant to you and your medium;

other people won't ever know about this.

I constantly maneuver my own doubts; up and down, oh God - and I see all this dirt;

another year of Instagram, another year of even more tattoos -

what kind of medium, what kind of community is this - horrible.

What matters is that you live with it,

and are not in cramps and fears and needs, thinking you need to produce so you can sell -

that's all a fucking nightmare. I never envisioned what it meant to be self-employed;

wasn't I always working on my own?

EPIPHONE GOTH T-BIRD IV BASS PLAIN BLACK - бас гитара для рока - Duration: 5:30.

Hi everyone! You are on the POP-MUSIC channel,

and today we'll review the darkest gothic bass guitar EPIPHONE GOTH T-BIRD IV.

The body of this bass guitar is made of mahogany, the neck is made of maple,

the fingerboard - rosewood, the neck is bolted on four bolts.

Here are ceramic pickups Epiphone Thunderbird Plus

and the classic soldered connections similar to the Fender: a volume knob for each pickup and a tone knob.

Let's listen to the sound of this bass guitar in the neck position, bridge position and then with both pickups.

This bass guitar, by its appearance, gently reminds us

of Gibson Thunderbird. And it's intended primarily for rock music, of course,

as well as for other heavy music styles.

And now let's listen to the bass guitar with the overdrive.

Based on the design features of this bass guitar,

it's pretty inconvenient for slapping.

But you can get a very cool brand rock roar,

specially when playing with a mediator and with overdrive.

Arsenal 's Arsene Wenger shares his biggest REGRET as he eyes final European glory ● News Now ● #AFC - Duration: 2:30.

Arsene Wenger wants to bow out of Arsenal as a winner as he aims to put his biggest

regret behind him by lifting the Europa League this season.

The Gunners boss admits that losing the 2006 Champions League Final was the one thing that

disappoints him most in his glittering 22-year career at the club.

Wenger's star-studded Arsenal side at the peak of their powers saw keeper Jens Lehmann

sent off early on as they crashed to a 2-1 defeat at Barcelona.

And with a European trophy with Arsenal the only glaring omission from his CV, Wenger

is eyeing a fairytale end to his long spell in charge.

Wenger said: "It was my biggest regret, yes.

"We knocked Juventus and Real Madrid out that season, and then lost with 10 men in

the final in an unfortunate way.

"We had a very young team and didn't concede a goal against them.

We went to the final without conceding a goal.

On paper, tonight's challenge against Atletico Madrid looks almost as steep.

Diego Simeone's men are second in Spain's La Liga and were runners-up in the Champions

League in two out of the last four seasons.

Wenger said: "If you look at the table they are the second best team in Spain.

They have no real weakness.

They are strong offensively.

They strong defensively.

We will need a complete performance.

"It's a Champions League night.

For two reasons.

First, because a Champions League position is at stake, more for us than them, and second

because these are two teams used to playing in the Champions League."

Privately, Wenger knows that lifting the trophy would be a special way to bring down the curtain.

But publicly he insists it is all about his players.

He said: "Is there a perfect goodbye?

First of all, I don't know.

I just want to do as well as I can because this team has quality, these guys - I've

seen them this season be challenged mentally.

ゆでたまご

I thought it was nice that they added eggs to this and it turned out that is what "boiled eggs" are

limonada = yum

Logarithms Project but i tried to animate it - Duration: 9:56.

Hello, my name is Angel, and I am here to talk about logarithms and what they are used for.

A logarithm is the inverse of an exponent.

So basically, "what exponent can I raise this number to get this value?".

This is what it looks like.

How this works is this little part...is your base.

The number next to your log...is the result of applying a power to that base.

And your answer...is that power.

When you rearrange it...

...it starts to become a bit more clear on what you got to do!

This is called exponential form.

To solve, you just need to remember your powers.

If you can't remember a whole power, or one cannot be found, then you would have to change base, which is when you put the log of your answer over the log of your base, like this.

And when I mean "answer", I mean the result of applying that power to the base.

When changing base, it is best to use a calculator to find your (log) value.

Quick example: log base 3 of 27 is equal to what?

If you can do it on your own, pause and solve it yourself.

If not, stick around for a bit for the process.

...

Done?

You should have gotten 3.

If you reorganize the log into exponential form, you would get 3 to the power of x is equal to 27.

3^3 is 27, so your answer would be 3.

Yeah, you could do change of base like this:

...but it would take longer to do so and would require a calculator.

It is best to use this method if you know that the value of the power is not going to be a whole number, such as log base 5 of 21 is equal to x...

...which would equal about 1.89 if you do the change of base.

There is also expanding and condensing logarithms, which I'll quickly touch on.

Just to quickly note, the base must stay the same the entire way through, and you cannot condense or expand logarithms with different bases.

Big no-no.

If a logarithm is set up like this:

...then it equals to log base b of x plus log base b of y, and vice versa.

If a logarithm is set up like this:

...then it equals to log base b of x minus log base b of y, and vice versa.

And if a logarithm is set up like this:

...then it is equal to the log of base b of x to the power of a.

Remember, you are applying a to the x only if you change it to this method.

But if you keep the *former form, you multiply a to your entire log, which is cleaner in my opinion, once you do find the logarithm that is.

These can be done in combination with each other, like this:

and in this case you would just do this:

Apply a to all parts of the ratio, then expand it to the quantity of log base b of x to the power of a plus log base b of y to the power of a minus...

oh look blooper

...log base b of z to the power of a.

And this is just one...

oh look another blooper

And this is just one combination you can be met with.

Again, this works the other way around.

For a more in depth talk about condensing and expanding, click the video in the description by Joe Schiavone

because I only have so much time to animate and I still need to get to my to-

These are used in the real world, quite often actually. A good example is decibels.

Sound is measured in decibels, along with power level and voltage.

The "-bel" in "decibel" comes from the Bell Telephone Labs after Alexander Graham Bell, the group that...

i am an animator, not a talker

...created this system.

while "deci-" means one tenth.

That means that one decibel means a 1/10 change in sound, voltage, etc.

But from this point on, I'll only be talking about sound intensity.

Decibel values depend on how far, loud, and fast a sound is travelling.

The equation used to calculate differences in decibels is:

tfw you forget to remove a pause in post

P is equal to power, with P1 representing your reference sound power, and P2 representing the actual power compared to your reference.

And your answer is how loud a sound is in the current situation.

This also...

i sound 12

Keep in mind this is also important.

Because when a question gives you the decibel, this is basically (a part of) your answer.

Unless there's more than one thing going on, which I'll explain later.

For calculating from threshold sound, you can just use:

...where I is equal to how many times louder a sound is than the threshold.

Technically, the equation is 10 log (I/I0), where that I0 means your threshold sound...

but I becomes how many times louder a sound is times I0, as in I becomes 2I0, 3I0, etc.; so that I0 is basically cancelled out.

Threshold sound is basically the quietest sound an organism perceives.

Since humans have differing hearing set ups compared to a dog, cat, bird, whatever, we typically use humans...

...because, y'know, we're humans.

tbh at this point i don't remember if this gap was intentional.

But basically, in a nutshell, this tells you how many decibels louder is it from threshold sound.

Although you do not need this value, but is important nonetheless, the threshold sound for humans is typically 4 dB, which is **4 time quieter than breathing at 10 dB.

Yes, there are sites that list average decibel values, such as BYJU'S chart here:

...but it is also important to calculate when multiple sounds are playing simultaneously, or you only know how much louder a sound is from the threshold.

And most chart values are only averages or approximates and depend on how close and *fast they are as well.

Here's a problem:

Let's say you have a couple of air horns. These air horns are about 130 decibels at 2 feet away. About how loud are they?

First things first, when calculating sound intensity, it is not as simple as adding up the decibels. You need to plug it into an equation.

For example, if two people were talking at the same volume, with the same intensity, are they twice as loud?

No.

Louder, yes, but not twice as loud.

Now that that is settled, let's put these values into the equation.

Our reference level is 130 dB so that would be P1. Since there are two airhorns, your P2 is actually equal to 2*P1.

Now, DON'T solve yet, do not plug in your values.

You need to expand the equation first, then it gets easier from here. And I'll show you why.

This leaves you with 10 log 2 plus 10 log P2/P1. That 10 log P2/P1 becomes 130 dB because that is how loud the air horns are.

The reason that it is replaced is because, that's basically (part of) your sound intensity, they already gave (part of) it to you.

But the reason you expand it is because you need to also add in your decibel gain, which is on the left.

If you solve it just as is, you will only get the decibel gain. Now how much it is total.

Yes, you could add it to your given decibel count, but this makes sure you have all the parts with it.

Solve for 10log(2), which equals about 3 dB, so 3 plus 130 is 133 dB.

So two air horns going off at the same time is about 133 decibels.

Now here is one on your own: You have a group of ten people talking. Human conversation is at about 60 dB. How loud is that group?

Here is the equation for reference. I'll give you a minute. Pause if you need too.

Done? Okay, let's see how you did.

You should have gotten 70 decibels.

Why?

Do the same process as before:

Replace that P2 with 10*P1 since P1 is 60, and 60 decibels times **10 would be your actual power compared to that 60.

Expand your equation.

Input values.

Then solve.

And you get 70 decibels.

If you were to become an audiologist, knowing decibels is kinda important, especially since audiology is the branch of medicine responsible for hearing, balance, and other related disorders.

As an audiologist, you need to understand how sounds will affect hearing and which ones are dangerous to humans.

85 dB and over is dangerous and every 3 dB after that the safe hearing time cuts in half.

You can be exposed to 85 dB of sound for 8 hours before it is dangerous, 4 hours at 88 dB, 2 hours at 91, and so on.

Hearing is important, since the sensory hairs in our ear do not grow back, so once they are gone, they are gone, and **you'll go deaf.

Hearing is key for balance, so if you lose your hearing, you'd be a lot less balanced.

Audiologists treat these kind of issues once they identify that the issue was due to prolonged exposure to loud noises.

And these doctors often warn their patients of loud noises that exceed 85 decibels, such as those near or work at construction, and prescribe hearing medication and aids if needed.

Men Can't Flirt These Days - Duration: 3:13.

I didn't mind feminism at first when it was just about the things women do - but

now they're trying to make it about the things we do! And I'm worried about the fate of

the human race! Like: we're not even allowed to flirt at girls anymore

without them crying harassment, and it's concerning! If we keep going down

this road - with women in the driver's seat - human race will die out. And I don't

think women have thought that far ahead.

My whole life, whenever I've liked the look of someone

be they at work, at a party, reading a book,

talking to someone other than me

I'd flirt! I'd walk up to them, take their earphones out if they're listening to

music, grab their chin with my forefinger and thumb

turn their head to one side, and yelp right in their ear, again and again,

really high-pitched, short sharp bursts, really try and pop the eardrum...

Then with my free hand... pat her on the belly like she's full of food.

Textbook! Lets them know I'm interested. Physical cues!

And if she says "oh I'm not interested..."

Which they never did!... They usually said something else...

I just walk away and try again on someone else! It's not a big deal!

But now all these women is speaking up!

Partly 'cause they've lost their hearing and they can't judge the volume - and they're

saying that I'm the one that has to change! And I'm frightened for the next

generation - if there is one at this rate - 'cause they're not gonna know what's

okay and what's not! And all these girls are like, "well, we'll tell you what's okay

and what's not" but: why would you want to take advice from a woman, when they're

not the ones doing the flirting! We are the ones flirting at them.

INTERVIEWER (O.S.): Well, you could just talk to them like they're human beings...?

And say what?

Look: 90 percent of communication is nonverbal - and there are no verbs in a high-pitched yelp.

I'm just happy that I found someone and settled down before all this got out of hand.

Sorry - she keeps doing that! I don't - I don't know what that is!

Crispy Fried Chicken Recipe - Buttermilk Fried Chicken - Duration: 9:30.

what is up everybody this is Lyle with No Hippie BBQ what I'd be doing today is

gonna be some Creole fried chicken this recipe is a collaboration with my man

Aaron over a smoking and grilling with a B listen he thinks he knows how to cook

some chicken because he's out living in you know la area you know going after

Roscoe's chicken and waffles new and all that stuff but listen I heard Aaron is

reppin Compton but he moved to Riverside so I don't know how authentic his

recipes gonna be any way instead of going west coast we're going to East

Coast on this we're gonna be hittin it up with some Creole flavors before I get

into that listen run over and check out a be on smoking and grilling with a B

I'm gonna leave a link to his channel neidhart above and description below as

well as whatever chicken recipe whatever his feeble attempt is it trying to

conquer my reign on this fried chicken that's gonna be a night card above

description below like I said we're hitting them with some Creole flavored

fried chicken so what do we got I got a whole chicken I broke that down into

pieces so we have two breasts two thighs two wings two of the little booty parts

we're gonna hook it up so first thing I'm gonna do is we are gonna hit it with

some seasoning the seasoning I'm using is from a company called sweet smoky Joe

listen boom this stuff here go to the website I mean do yourself a

favor go to this website and take a look what they have this is some of the best

seasoning and I'm saying they have a whole array of seasoning I'm going to do

a video on this later but this is some of the best seasoning ever and the

prices are phenomenal please run by there take a look I assure you you will

like it anyway I'm using their Creole kick for this recipe first thing I'm

gonna do is I'm gonna throw some of this let me make sure I switch hands to keep

everything kosher we're gonna throw our chicken wings into this bowl and I'm

gonna just kind of season as we go and I think I use the wrong

hand but either way I'm not gonna cross contaminate so I'm just hitting with

some of this Creole kick seasoning and we don't eat it in here too much we just

want a nice little rub on it because we're going to be hitting it with some

hot sauce and some buttermilk as well

alright so we got all this chicken in here we got to kind of seasoned up now

what I'm going to do is I'm going to hit it with some of this buttermilk and I

just want to make sure that the buttermilk is covering the chicken and

like I said actually I will be able to switch hands after this what I want to

do is make sure that it's fully coated then we're going to hit it with some of

this Louisiana Hot Sauce typically I wouldn't be using any of this Louisiana

Hot Sauce but since we're going Creole just go ahead and hit it up with that

now that we have that all in and now I have to touch anything else I'm going to

mix this up and make sure all this hot sauce gets incorporated throughout and

I'm gonna let this sit for about five hours had a chance to marinate for about

five hours and if I wasn't doing a collaboration and trying to show off a

little bit I probably wouldn't be double batter in this but since we are because

I want to take this to the next level what we're gonna do is we're gonna dip

this chicken directly into just plain old cornstarch we're gonna set it off in

a broiler pan for about twenty minutes for it to for that corn starch to kind

of start absorbing into the chicken so it's time for us to get down to this

setting coding we're gonna put on this chicken I

really don't have any exact directions on this so sometimes you just got to

step outside the box and put your foot in it and that means you got to

improvise you just can't be worried about teaspoons tablespoons and ounces

anyway I got three eggs you got these here boom go ahead track these and I'm

gonna use something buttermilk that I had from earlier and we're just gonna

kind of whisk this in so this is kind of what we're left with it almost looks

like you could make an omelet out of it that's kind of a the consistency we have

anyway I have some flour just plain old flour we're gonna hit it back with this

sweet smoky Joe Creole kick I'm telling you I am turned on by these seasonings

or spices let's go ahead and get some of that in and you're gonna eyeball this as

well then we're just gonna go ahead and then shake it up in our bag and this is

what we're gonna flour our chicken left go ahead and get this last coating on

here what I'm gonna do is we're going to take the chicken that's been sitting

with that cornstarch on it we're gonna hit it with this egg wash we just made

bring it over to this flour mixture then we're gonna set it on our rack and

excuse me if I'm little bit nervous you know doing a collaboration with Aaron is

like a big deal for me so you know I'm getting a little you know more nervous

than usual anyway let's go ahead and get this going so boom looks good shake off

the excess mixture

so within our flower that we have seasoned up with that Creole spice boom

let's bring it over here that's gonna start getting a little bit tacky and

it's gonna be delicious so we've got this oil at the 350 degrees now we're

just gonna go ahead and start dropping our chicken in and I'm gonna do about 3

of these pieces of chicken at a time so I'm probably gonna be cooking this in

about about 3 different batches so this chickens been going for about 10 minutes

then I go in here look at how crispy that looks right

there I'm gonna go ahead and set this aside on a little broiler rack a broiler

pan so we can kind of drip off and then I'm gonna go ahead and get another batch

in in the meantime I will throw it in the oven just to keep it warm

I have two more batches to cook this is the last batch these two breasts will go

ahead and set these aside I checked the temperature on those they're at 165

degrees so we're good to go on that and I'm gonna go ahead and let these cool

off a little bit plate up and then taste them

all right so this fried chicken is a wrap I'm telling you it looks good looks

extra crispy to me I'd like to thank a bee for doing this collaboration with me

wait this look you do this baby yeah know what I wish you as cool as a treat

man I wish I was as cool as a bee too but heavy is the head that wears the

crown you know what I'm saying anyway instead of talking about how cool a bee

is it's smoking and grilling with a bee we're gonna go ahead and get into these

chicken wings so sorry this fried chicken sees me it's more than chicken

wings but we're gonna knock out these wings cuz that's my favorite part

anyway go on in oh that is crispy I'm the best kind of ways that meats nice

and tender well-seasoned it's real good I'm telling you listen

where's my seasoning that this right here boom this sweet smoky Joe's right

here this Creole kick I'm telling you this is just one season in they have the

rest of these seasons are the bomb and listen I stand behind this product

Andrea what do you think about what you tasted on this anyway linked to these

guys is in the description below and last I checked down a bunch of these on

sale which makes it even a better value anyway before I get back into one of

these pieces of chicken I want to thank you guys for stopping by no hippie BBQ

run by smoking and grilling with a be links in the description and I card

above you got anything say this is not even

saying anything I said do you have anything to say yeah it's pretty damn

good all right it's pretty good

anyway thanks stop my no hippie BBQ comment subscribe I'm out
