Youtube daily report May 29 2018

Hello and welcome to the IFT channel

You have asked us to explain the Casimir effect

The Casimir effects is a real physical effect

proposed theoretically in 1948, and which goes as follows:

Take two parallel metallic plates in vacuum;

take them uncharged, carrying no electric charge whatsoever;

there's nothing here, it's complete vacuum, there is no particle at all between the plates,

and nonetheless, the two plates attract each other.

They attract with a force given by this expression,

where "A" is the area of the plates, "L" is the distance between them,

"h" is Planck's constant, and "c" is the speed of light in the vacuum.

We can ask what's the explanation of the Casimir effect.

By the way, the Casimir effect was observed experimentally in 1997, and so

it's an absolutely real effect, which occurs in Nature, and which can be observed with experiments.

What's the explanation of the Casimir effect?

You may wonder if the force among the plates is of electromagnetic nature.

The answer is "no".

It's "no", because the plates are electrically neutral, there is no electric charge on the plates.

Could the attractive force among the plates be of gravitational nature?

The answers is again "NO",

because, although there is a gravitational attraction between the two objects,

it is negligibly small as compared with the experimentally measured forces.

So the explanation of the Casimir effect must be of a different kind.

In fact, the Casimir effect can be explained through Quantum Field Theory (QFT)

The key idea in Quantum Field Theory

is that, for any elementary particle, like the electron, the photon, the muon, the Higgs boson,...

there exists a field. This field permeates all the space

and local excitations of these fields are what we interpret as particles.

Now, the excitations of the field (in this case, we have drawn the photon field, as example)

can be of two different kinds:

excitations that we interpret as real particles,

the physical particles we observe experimentally,

and other excitations, which we described as due to virtual particles.

These virtual particles, at an intuitive level,

can be described as particles that exist

only for an extremely short time interval.

For instance, we can start with an initial state of vacuum,

from which there come out photons

which exist for an extremely short interval of time

after which they disappear back into the vacuum.

These virtual particles are thus a concrete excitation of the fields

and we can compute the energy due to these virtual particles.

The explanation of the Casimir effect is that the vacuum between the two plates

is a vacuum with no real particles,

but in which the fields continue to exist, and so do their virtual particles.

We call this vacuum the quantum vacuum.

We can compute the total energy due to the virtual particles between the two plates,

and the force which we measure experimentally is given by

the derivative of the energy with respect to the distance between the plates.

This is the explanation of the Casimir effect, at the intuitive level.

Now I'd like to talk about other topic, also possibly related to the Casimir effect.

It's the question of the cosmological constant.

We now know that the Universe is expanding at an accelerated rate.

This is an observational fact,

we can see experimentally in astrophysical and cosmological observations

that the Universe expansion is accelerated.

The accelerated expansion of the Universe

can be described using Einstein's General Relativity equations, which I wrote here.

This equation can describe the way the Universe is expanding throughout its history.

In this equation, we see on the left hand side,

several terms describing how the gravitational force behaves,

and in the right hand side we have terms corresponding to sources of the gravitational force,

the mass and energy of particles, stars, galaxies... everything in the Universe.

In particular, there is a term containing explicit sources, and a term called the cosmological constant.

This cosmological constant is a contribution to the expansion of the Universe

which is present even if the Universe would be completely void of matter of any kind.

Imagine a though experiment, taking the Universe and removing

galaxies, stars, the mass of all galaxies... we are left with nothing

so this term vanishes.

However, there remain the fundamental fields.

The fundamental fields can have their excitations due to virtual particles.

So we may wonder if we can interpret this cosmological constant term

as the total energy due to virtual particles,

similar to what we did in the Casimir effects.

We can measure experimentally the value of the cosmological constant,

its around 10^{-3} electronvolts, to the fourth power.

That's a fact, an experimental value.

Now we can compute it, in analogy with the Casimir effect,

by using the virtual particles of all the fields in the Standard Model of Elementary Particles,

and get the theoretical value for this cosmological constant.

The result is... a disaster!

This is described as the worst theoretical prediction in the History of Science.

The theoretical value found from this computation

is 10^{120} times larger than the observed value.

So we need to think about other theoretical explanation

for the small observational value of the cosmological constant.

The explanation can be of two kinds.

It may simply be that the cosmological constant cannot be interpreted

as the energy due to virtual particles in the vacuum,

and there's another explanation which we still don't know;

or it may be that we just don't know all the particles that exist:

we're doing this computation with the particles we know in the Standard Model,

but there could be other fields, other virtual particles contributing to this quantity.

This is the so-called cosmological constant problem,

one of the biggest open problems in Cosmology and Physics of fundamental interactions today,

and one of great research activity here at the IFT in Madrid

Nobel Royal from Rumoe Watches Men's Dress Watch Review - Duration: 7:33.

Nobel Royal - Rumoe Watches - Men's Dress Watch Review what is up this is Andrew with my watch addictions calm and today we're gonna

take a look at a new dress watch that I found from Rumoe watches so

if you haven't heard of rumo watches before that that likely doesn't surprise

me it's a relatively new watch brand out of Sweden and I happen to come across it

by just flying through social media a little bit but it's a micro brand that

was started by a group of watch enthusiasts that got together and

decided that they wanted to design a gorgeous dress watch that was based on

style and simplicity so we're gonna jump into this watch and take a look at it

here in a second and find out a little bit more about it but before we do that

guys do me a favor go down there in the right hand corner of the screen is that

subscribe button if you have not already go ahead and smash that guy so you can

follow us in the future so if we crack into this guy real clean box design just

black cardboard box outer box we open this guy up and on the inside tissue

tissue paper I should say protecting this black piano finish watch box very

very heavy-duty box we have a push button to open it up and inside we have

leather covered inside to this watch box and then there it is there's the noble

royal stainless steel so if we take this watch out and take a look at it with you

guys one thing I noticed right off the bat when I was looking at this watch is

it reminds me a lot of that ball enterprise that I

have just in that dial design with those stainless-steel indices at the our

markers very very clean design so here we zoomed in on this noble royal this

watch has a 40 millimeter case diameter with a case thickness of only 11 and a

half millimeters which from a dress watch standpoint that's really really

nice size fits under the cuff of a shirt this is 316l stainless steel and does

have a sapphire glass crystal the strap on this is a genuine leather black calf

strap with a butterfly buckle or the quick-release buckle right there with

rumo engraved right onto that buckle one thing that's really kind of interesting

about this watch is if you look at the back of this it does have an engraved

seeing right on that case back if I can get a picture for you guys there the

skyline the movement in this watch is a Japanese Seiko NH35 Automatic Movement now you guys

have seen a lot of watches that I've reviewed with that NH35 movement

very solid 24 jeweled movement 21600 beats per minute hacking and

bi-directional winding thanks to that NH35 this is a dress watch so the

water resistance is a lot lower on this then you would see in some watches this

is only going to be a 5 atm water resistance or 50 meters very solid

clicks to the crown on this watch you can see the hacking right there

this is not a screw down crown by chance but it does have that bi-directional

winding now rumoe watches when they started the brand actually originally

launched this watch via Kickstarter campaign yeah and it looks like this

Kickstarter campaign which incidentally I wasn't a backer of I didn't find this

watch until after the fact so I definitely missed out on this campaign

but the super early bird special on these watches which went to a hundred

and thirty-four backers these watches went for $199 in US and these guys

shipped in January of 2018 it looks like when these watches shipped originally

from their Kickstarter campaign they had 151 total backers to complete their

Kickstarter campaign now currently this watch is selling on rumo calm that's our

Rumoe.com this watch is selling for three hundred and ninety nine

dollars with that Seco and h35 movement and this watch does come in a number of

color combinations along with strap combinations so they

have a royal rose gold case they have the noble royal stainless steel with a

white dial as well as the rose gold with the white dial as well and then they

have a number of different types of watch straps that you can pick up to add

to this watch so that was a noble royal stainless steel from room o watches very

clean little dress watch that I definitely think it's gonna get some

wrist time from me I in my daily daily rotation if you want to see this guy and

my wrist don't forget you can follow us an Instagram slash watch addiction dot

us to see what's on my wrist on a daily basis anyway guys post up in the

comments below and let me know what you think of this watch do you like it d

hate it what do you think they could or should have done differently definitely

post up in the comments but oh and let me know what you think anyway

guys we're to get out of here have a great week stay safe and we'll see you

soon

King Princess "1950" Official Lyrics & Meaning | Verified - Duration: 4:57.

I understand the importance of an artist explaining what a song is about, but I also understand

the importance of people claiming the song for themselves and having it mean something

to them.

I want people to be able to listen to this music, gay, straight whatever the fuck, and

take something out of it.

The light bulb went off when I was in the shower.

I kind of raced out of the shower.

I was like, "Oh fuck!" and I picked up a guitar and I got the (humming) just recorded on my

phone.

Sat down with it and I was like, "Oh shit, this is good."

I fucking hate it when dudes try to fuck me, but I also absolutely adore when ladies try

to chase me.

And I was like, "Oh, that sentiment is pretty sick."

I feel like a lot of women feel that way.

It's an analogy, it's a metaphor.

The way that queer people had to hide their love in history, throughout our history.

Being a parallel to unrequited love, right?

So, feeling like somebody's being cold to you in a public space and how that looks very

similar to the way that people once couldn't be gay in public.

I wanted to pay tribute to that point in history.

The whole song's about kind of being in love with this idea of a person and being in love

with a figure and turning the person that you love into more of a shrine than an actual

relationship.

If you hold the person that you're fucking, loving, dating, whatever, up, you know, on

that highest shelf… your adoration for them becomes greater than the actual relationship.

I love to play with religious imagery, because it's...

Traditionally, I think, being gay and being religious have been oil and water.

You feel something so intensely for like a week and then you're like, "Wow that was wild."

"Remember when I was a crazy bitch like four days ago?"

"What the fuck was going on?"

"Why was I screaming?"

So I wrote this song definitely at a point of like, having a full moment.

It wasn't forever.

I don't think anything's forever.

When I was writing that, I was writing it from the

perspective of somebody who moved from New York to LA.

When I left New York, I was really angry at New York.

I feel like I was rejecting it in order to not miss it.

It's about love and it's about fear.

It's like, "Are you gonna fucking leave me?

Just want a, need a heads up, would be great, ya know."

You use those feelings and you ride that wave for as long as possible, and you try to get

as much out of it.

You like squeeze all the shit you can out of it, so you can get the best material.

I was definitely riding a wave of sadness and heartbreak.

The result of that was a body of work that I feel encapsulates that whole time period

of my life.

After Hospitalization, Melania Surfaces On Memorial Day To Deliver Special Message - Duration: 6:00.

After Hospitalization, Melania Surfaces On Memorial Day To Deliver Special Message.

First Lady Melania Trump surfaced on Memorial Day, after taking a couple of weeks away to

recover following her recent hospitalization.

She had a special message that you won't want to miss.

After eight years of suffering through Michelle Obama, American patriots now have a First

Lady they can be proud of.

Although she's been laying low, recovering after her recent hospitalization, Melania

Trump surfaced on social media on Memorial Day.

According to Daily Caller, the First Lady sent out a special message that has millions

talking.

Melania took to Instagram to express her tremendous gratitude for those, who have made the ultimate

sacrifice for our country.

Melania honored the men and women in uniform, who have selflessly given their lives to preserve

our freedom, and her message was pure class.

"On #MemorialDay we honor the many Americans who laid down their lives for our great country.

As one nation under God, we come together to remember that freedom isn't free.

Thank you to all the service members & their families who sacrifice so much to keep us

safe," the First Lady wrote.

At a time that is so politically divisive, the First Lady's remarks transcend the noise

and speak a simple truth that all Americans should realize regardless of their political

persuasion.

"Freedom isn't free," she emphasized.

Those three words encompass a tremendous meaning that gathers up the immeasurable sacrifice,

made by those who truly deserve to be called heroes in our country.

On Memorial Day, we pause in solemn gratitude to pay tribute to the brave patriots, who

laid down their lives defending peace and freedom while in military service to our great

Nation.

We set aside this day to honor their sacrifice, and to remind all Americans of the tremendous

price of our precious liberty.

Throughout the history of our Republic, courageous Americans have purchased our cherished freedom

with their lives.

Our 151 national cemeteries serve as the final resting place for millions of people, including

veterans from every war and conflict, many of whom died while serving our country.

We remain duty bound to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice on our behalf, and

to remember them with thankfulness and unwavering pride.

The fallen our treasured loved ones, friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens deserve nothing

less from a grateful Nation.

We must safeguard the legacies of our service members so that our children, and our grandchildren

will understand the sacrifices of our Armed Forces.

As a part of this effort, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is working to keep the

memories of our fallen heroes from ever fading away.

The National Cemetery Administration's Veterans Legacy Program challenges our youth, from

elementary school through college, to research and share the stories and sacrifice of their

hometown veterans, who are forever honored at VA National, State, and tribal veterans

cemeteries.

To further ensure that our veterans' legacies are remembered and celebrated, this program

is developing an online memorialization platform that will amplify the voices of families,

survivors, and Gold Star parents and spouses as they honor our beloved veterans and fallen

service members.

Today, and every day, we revere those who have died in noble service to our country.

I call upon all Americans to remember the selfless service members who have been laid

to rest in flag-draped coffins and their families who have suffered the greatest loss.

The sacrifices of our hallowed dead demand our Nation's highest honor and deepest gratitude.

On this day, let us also unite in prayer for lasting peace in our troubled world so that

future generations will enjoy the blessings of liberty and independence.

In honor and recognition of all of our fallen heroes, the Congress, by a joint resolution

approved May 11, 1950, as amended (36 U.S.C. 116), has requested the President issue a

proclamation calling on the people of the United States to observe each Memorial Day

as a day of prayer for permanent peace and designating a period on that day when the

people of the United States might unite in prayer.

The Congress, by Public Law 106-579, has also designated 3:00 p.m. local time on that day

as a time for all Americans to observe, in their own way, the National Moment of Remembrance.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, do hereby

proclaim Memorial Day, May 28, 2018, as a day of prayer for permanent peace, and I designate

the hour beginning in each locality at 11:00 a.m. of that day as a time when people might

unite in prayer.

I further ask all Americans to observe the National Moment of Remembrance beginning at

3:00 p.m. local time on Memorial Day.

I also request the Governors of the United States and its Territories, and the appropriate

officials of all units of government, to direct the flag be flown at half-staff until noon

on this Memorial Day on all buildings, grounds, and naval vessels throughout the United States

and in all areas under its jurisdiction and control.

I also request the people of the United States to display the flag at half-staff from their

homes for the customary forenoon period.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-fifth day of May, in the

year of our Lord two thousand eighteen, and of the Independence of the United States of

America the two hundred and forty-second.

DONALD J. TRUMP

It's good to have honorable and patriotic people in the White House.

Thank God we have the chance to turn the country around under what many would consider being

the providential leadership of Donald Trump.

As the President continues to battle it out with the left, remember, we didn't ask for

an angel, just someone to slay the demons who have turned our government into a corrupt

swamp.

GOODBYE TODOIST?!? My Switch... - Duration: 12:51.

Hello and welcome back to the Keep Productive YouTube channel

Today's video. I wanted to share with you guys a little bit more about myself to do this usage

It's changed pretty dramatically over the last

Three or four months and and what I wouldn't do today is maybe give you a sort of taster

Into how I sort of have been exploring it just before we dive in I wanted to answer

Some YouTube comments so you can always skip ahead to the today's part if you want because stick around for these comments

The dunno whether I'm gonna get any glare on with glasses here, I'm just going to grab a few comments

I had a comment from Miguel in the comments. I'm not gonna try and pronounce his last name because it would go hideously wrong

But he asked and I did put a full response back. If you do want to check. It's on the LD calendar video

He but I'm back on Google Calendar any suggestions on a calendar with

Tasks that works with iPhone iPad and has a web version

Or am I asking too much? That's a great question and there were a lot of calendar applications out there

A lot of them don't necessarily have the task function

Some of them don't have the web function and some of them aren't solely iOS

So it's hard when it comes to calendar apps, of course, we all love sunrise and that was a great application

My recommendation to you would probably be calendars five

And using Google Calendar, that's personally what I use so you can use calendars five on your iPhone or iPad

and you can use the task function they have there and also use Google Calendar for web which is a really great calendar and will

Sync if that is your native calendar application or calendar experience via Google Fire

They have calendars five on your phone. What a quite lucky about calendars five is the viewing options and it just looks very great

But there are a few other alternatives if you wanted to just focus solely on web stuff then son

sama is pretty good when it comes to

visually planning stuff or you could go for some of the default ones like Google calendars and use Google to

Google Tasks to plot out your tasks. That's just another option

Let's find another comet. Okay, so Daniel hurt snow

asks on the Google Tasks video

Can I share one of my Google Tasks list with another person whereby each person will be able to review and edit the same list

Not right now. I haven't seen this function available in the application. They don't even have a web version yet

So they've almost soft launched this quite heavily

So I would just wait around for this function and sure Microsoft to do has this function yet

But there it's on the horizon for that application. So do stick around

I had a comment

From swag antic and Allah man doubt. I'm gonna ruin names here

So they asked does evident plus option still exist

That was a good question

Because I actually didn't never know if this notion video and actually saw while I was doing the pricing in it

Maybe like a week off that a plus pricing is now gone

You've only got your basic which is free and you got premium and business

So they've eliminated that one and they've made the disconnect between those two different

I don't know whether those users who have it still are still running

But to be honest if you want to get my opinion on it now looking back. I think the Plus version was pretty

Much of a waste of time. It was more to capture people there were

like not willing to pay the

Almost 50 pound a year price and to sort of go in the middle ground. So as you can imagine a thing that's changed

So now we've got through the comments. Maybe we can dive into the the good to do this stuff

Francesco needs their it knows how to keep

Here we are with the dis part you're probably wondering because it's quite a catchy title goodbye todoist

And I've have tried to hit this over the last couple of weeks

But for a total of almost three months I did leave todoist now

I'm I'm gonna have to take you back to maybe when I left University at this time last year

and moved into freelancing and during that period of time I

had of course a new mission to some extent I was doing freelancing during university, but

when it came to like my projects in my tasks they were

I guess

Changed because I was able to do freelancing a lot more can able to get my hands stuck in if you know what I mean

And go a bit further. So as you can imagine

My sort of role change to some extent in making it a bit more serious towards that role

So during this period of time I think it was maybe January this year

2018 I actually decided I was like, okay. I'm actually going to look at

experimenting with the - this application

for a total of three months and my goal with that move would essentially be to

try and take myself out of the

to-do list todoist routine in terms of my setup and also try and

Understand how my workflow works now. I'm working freelance full-time if that makes sense

So I and let's be I've been using to do this for four or five years now

I've not been someone that's not been, you know switching between applications

It definitely has taken me a lot of time to get this to get to this point

So I basically if January was like, okay, I need to move

I spent a couple of months working out what that application would be and also working out

What's a timing I would do and I decided that from sort of March time to ran about now would be a good time to

experiment with that application

terms of giving myself a two to three months runway with the application where I would fully dedicate my time now then

Application was things three

And that was things through for Mac and iOS

Now I obviously narrowed it down

I looked at like two tick tick a couple of other applications like to do only focus and things like that

But they really didn't fit my sort of setup. Tick. Ding was very much a bit, too

Fixed I would say to some extent and also I don't think it's there just yet. I think

Hey, that's another conversation

But OmniFocus and to do with definitely on the sort of radar but things three sort of met the balance between todoist

but also

the likes of more advanced applications that I only focus in terms of its so the vibe not rigid structure, but

Due to the elements and also sort of visual appeal

So inside of things sorry

ok would give this one a three month hit and I I made the jump and after maybe

three months I

Have to make the decision. Am I going to continue this application? Of course, I had plenty of time to work that out and

I've now come to a decision for the suspense back

They're gonna make myself a cup of tea because I heard it click and I was like, I need a cup of tea

So

Sorry for that

so intensive actual applications it I am now currently using I am back the todoist and

the main reason I

did go

Banquet to do it is because over that period of time I felt that things sorry actually didn't work for my sort of workflow

and I feel it worked for me in terms of like when I was doing freelance projects or work and I was like

Mmm, actually this application doesn't do this for me right now

maybe that was a combination of my

Long experience with todoist and things like that but over over this period of time. Oh this 3 to 3 months

I've been using things free I decided no, it's not suitable for me. So I just - just some clarity here

I think it is important to always evaluate the tools you use to some extent

It's almost like you know, you write down some - dues on a notepad and then after months you like go

Okay, you know do I like the spirals on my notepad?

Do I like?

The start of my notepad and you can get critical of course, but of course

It's working out the the best the best process for you over this time and what the one thing I am very happy for

during that experiment a period of time is that I have learned things about myself and

tasks and process and

general productivity to some extent about myself that I

have now applied to my now routine and it's

Unbelievable how that's changed my own day-to-day work over the last two weeks where I now being back onto duyst

It's actually become so much better

To some extent I would say that I'm glad that I did this experiment

because it's taking me out of an environment put me back into an environment and I've sort of have a feeling of

Learning and a good amount of knowledge. Now. What I want to do with you guys is

From my experience of this. I've got a few videos planned

so

What I have planned is I have to do this. I'm gonna do my to-do list

Set up video just to give you an idea of how a my setup has been I do these routine ones anyway

And it you know, it's at almost like my fourth or fifth year that I've been using it

So it's been a fair while I'm gonna explain my two months width in three

That's gonna be a separate video. I did like a lot of stuff in things free. I really did honestly

And I didn't like some stuff so I'm gonna go over all of that stuff. I'm gonna do to do this versus things through video

Hopefully that will be very useful especially because now I've actually used them in practice

For work and I wasn't even during that thing for a period of time to do this to paused

Literally, I obviously went through the correct procedure in taking out stuff and putting it back in

But I paused it. I'm also gonna do one

Specifically about things things that sucked in things through from your worthy video

And then I'm actually looking about a video that might help you all with the process of actually

Switching to new application and experimenting with that. So guys

Hopefully that was a interesting overview technically. Although this was a click Beatty. It was right

I did leave to do it for three months in an experimental move. That's the first time I've left it since

2012 or 13? I can't think but it's been a long time. So

Yeah

Yeah, five years ish

So that that's one saying I think it's positive sometimes and I have felt the benefits of it. So hopefully these videos

Want to get back from honeymoon?

wedding on set on this coming Saturday not this Saturday next Saturday, then I actually am going to be

Giving you a full rundown and it will give me a lot of time to focus

Anyway, guys, I hope you enjoyed this video. Give it a thumbs up if you enjoyed it

Let me know if you were liking this format of video

Let me know in the comments what you think about to do some things really great here, but without further ado

Thank you very much. I'll probably catch you very very soon

If you get a bit of outage from me, it's because I'm getting married. I don't know. How do you mean so?

You might not get the fastest responses, but always leave your comments. I try and get back to them as fast like anyway guys

Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure have a great week. Keep it active and I'll see you guys very very

How Can I Achieve More by Doing Less? with Tiffany Dufu - Duration: 14:48.

Hi Tiffany! Hi there! Can you guys hear me okay? Yeah I can hear you perfectly, can you

hear me? Yeah I can hear you fine. Sorry about that ladies I have dropped the

ball on Instagram, I just need a little help there! No and I was also saying earlier I was like look,

this is live and this is the beauty of live is you get to see all the behind

the scenes but also I mean let's give us all a break there's Instagram post

Instagram lives Instagram stories so there's a lot going on here and I'm

really thankful for you taking the time to join us today thank you. No problem,

thank you! So Tiffany, I already kind of give them a

little bit of an intro to you but I would love to hear from you or you share

with the audience you know who are you what you do obviously you just talked a

little bit about drop the ball but tell them what that is as well.

Oh absolutely! So my life's work is advancing women and girls that's what I

do and that's why I'm pretty much on the planet. I feel really lucky because I get

to execute that purpose in several different ways. Right now I am spending a

lot of time talking about drop the ball because I released the book last year

and people are still...Excellent book! Go to Amazon get drop the ball it's it kind of,

actually for me, when I read it Tiffany, just so you know—and this is not just a

suck up—but like it kind of helped me change my mindset about stuff you know?

That's great! You know change it from feeling bad to being like nothing

to feel bad about this... So anyway I just have to give you a

little shout out, it's been amazing. That's the whole idea! And I

also do a lot of public speaking I work with Fortune 500 companies to help them

figure out how to retain in advance the talent in their workplace which they

were losing in droves which is why I wrote drop the ball. I also serve on

nonprofit boards that are really important to me, I'm on the board of

Girls Who Code and Simmons College in Boston. And

Monday, I'm launching a new venture called The Crew that is all about really

creating a place where women can thrive and can support one another. You can

go to find your crew and it's cru.com I love it.

Congratulations, that's amazing! You've had a busy year! A very

busy year but you know what if you're someone who's really clear about why

you're here and you have a life that's very driven by your passion in your

purpose yep then you're always kind of relentlessly executing and it really

does feel like a joy. Let me just tell you a

little bit how Mentor Monday works since you are first-time guest. So mentor

Monday is really our opportunity to give back to our audience and we answer their

submitted questions live on Instagram and then for anybody who's joining if

you miss watching this live you can always go to our YouTube channel and

watch any of our replays and and it's a great opportunity for us to get to work

with experts like you Tiffany to answer. We've got three questions so let's go

ahead and get started I know you have probably been asked a gazillion types of

questions out there but and what's really nice is that these are all

questions very much related to dropping the ball so let me grab my questions

really quick. Okay so the first question is how can I achieve more by doing less

which I'm sure you have literally a whole book about but let's see if you

can answer in like you know your best tips for this absolutely so you know I

would basically just mention the framework that's in the book because

obviously there's a whole book about dropping the ball yeah which it's that

I'm dropping the ball is essentially about getting clear about what matters

most to you separate and apart what matters to everybody else and yet me

what matters most to me is advancing women in girls and nurturing a really

great relationship with my husband and raising conscious global citizens mm-hmm

the second step is really getting clear about what your highest and best use is

to achieve what matters most to you instead of just being kind of obsessed

with our to-do lists every day which is what I used to be obsessed with and then

the last piece is really figuring out how you

meaningfully engage other people in your life because we don't look out in the

back and then trust me if you start dropping the ball and you don't let

anybody know ya it you're gonna hit some some bumps which I

did so meaningful engaging other people in your life but at the end of the day

you know I just reappropriated the term. I used to be someone who is

terrified of ever dropping balls and now I think it's really important that we

drop these crazy and realistic expectations yeah that we have of

ourselves to begin with but by the way are we I was at the United State of

women summit this weekend and Michelle Obama was the keynote speaker and she

actually said women have a higher standard for other women and for

themselves like we demand perfection of ourselves and I think your message is

super super important like you can actually achieve more by doing less you

just need to reprioritize and know what items to drop the ball on and I thought

that was just such a you know it's such a real you know that but when someone

else does it and they articulate it like that you're like you're right we've got

to put ourselves some slack and communicate with each other like you're

saying like let people know what you need to drop the ball with that's it

yeah yeah okay the next one next question that came through which is um

what are your best tips for starting the process of letting go yeah so I guess it

depends on what stage your act if you are like on your bathroom floor in tears

because you're so overwhelmed you can barely do anything yeah you know I would

say in that state you want to take your cell phone or your device and you want

to just call someone who you know has your best interests at heart

now if you wanted to tell them I know this sounds crazy but I am on my

bathroom floor in tears I'm so overwhelmed and I'm so stressed and I

don't have a plan and I'm just reaching out to someone because I need up okay

but you want to do in that case if you have more time to reflect and you really

think there are a couple of exercises that I think are awesome one was me

popular about I this guy named Steven Covey he wrote a book called the seven

Habits of Highly about that book that's a funeral visualization exercise where

you really think about your life in the future personally your funeral and what

would imagine three people a friend a colleague a family member

eulogizing it right so what would I say about you at the end of your life it's a

very important exercise to get you out of the trees and really looking at the

forest hanging out of your day to day because at the end of the day you don't

want people standing up at your funeral saying well you know she got a lot of

things done on our to-do list the second exercise that I would encourage

everybody to do is to get a collection of people who have known you at

different parts of your life particularly ones with people have known

you when you were a child now and just ask them to share with you about a time

when they experienced you at your best yeah and then be quiet record them if

you can transcribe everyone's response even better and then lay that out on a

table or on the floor and start circling words and phrases that are similar to

one another that's amazing ever people have had a consistent experience with us

since we were in kindergarten but you forget that because you're in your own

skin living your own life and it is a really empowering and powerful exercise

to really take a step back and look at the feedback from other people because

it really will help you tap into your best self and your superpower yeah

absolutely we had a question just come through that I think it's great which is

um after stepping back how do you trust yourself to re-engage with the world of

work in a meaningful way so once you've gone through those exercises and now

it's been made obvious to you what parts you maybe need to step back on or about

the ball with how do you read engage like how do you take away and then go

back in yeah it's really tough so the I would say dropping the ball is a

practice it's kind of like yoga you know you take little steps and there are

times when you're gonna slide backwards so the whole idea of this like yoga it's

like if you're not very flexible it's okay yes you know right be perfectionist

drop the ballers okay so you're going to set your intention

you're gonna communicate to other people around you um let's just say you know

you're gonna drop the ball on the dishes I don't know yes please you're gonna let

people know and when the dishes start piling up and

you're literally getting anxious and then begin to get hives because you've

never left the pile up that high up you're gonna just you're gonna relax and

you're gonna practice you can imagine all the things you're gonna imagine your

funeral you can imagine all of the things that you could and should be

doing in order to make the world a better place and to live your best place

if you weren't obsessed with the dishes and you said as a silly example it's

probably something much deeper than that but it's practice right right so if

you're going back into work it's like first create this framework or this

foundation and then practice it practice it and baby steps and then eventually

like you were saying with the yoga example which I love because I'm not

flexible at all so when I go to yoga I'm like what am I doing here but um it's

the same ideas like you'll work your way up into that so you should reengage you

have to reengage back into it that's it um okay so last question that we got

which was how can you tell whether you're feeling burned out oh sorry how

can you tell while they're feeling burnt out is a sign you need to take a

temporary break like a vacation or you need to change jobs entirely and I think

that's probably a super-popular question that you get a lot which is what is the

burnout really signaling yes so all of us have

things that bring us joy and one of the recommendations that I make in the book

is to find these moments of joy hopefully on a daily basis one of the

things I encourage us to do what if here's someone who's like I have an

experience joining so long I don't know what is you know what that is right and

you think about when you were a child what you used to do when I was a little

girl I used to dance with reckless abandon to make Janet Jackson tapes you

know and they'd be like the ribbon would come out and I would have to like take

the pencil for me what what brings me joy and that was a little girl that's

just like putting on music and dancing and dancing and dancing if you for 10

minutes or 20 minutes or three minutes or even an hour can engage in whatever

it is that brings you joy and after you experience that you feel like you've

made a little bit of a comeback like you can come back to life that means that

you don't to leave your job that's right you know

it means that you just need to really kind of regain perspective and tap back

in to what matters most to you and really get centered and organized and

induce the mindset shifting in order for you to be able to get back you know in

the swing of things again if you do something like that for

20 minutes 30 minutes an hour and afterward it makes no difference yeah

you'll feel like you're down in the jaws not sign that you might need to get more

help but out something deeper that might be going on it could be your job it

could be potentially depression but I really encourage you to seek out more

help and access resources if that's you I'm curious in that question do you

think a lot of people assume it's their job do you think most people immediately

like when something's not going well they're like oh I hate my job it has to

be my job I if I can fix my job it will fix everything else so here's the thing

one of the things I learned when I was a young manager I want you a really

amazing course called managing to change the world and I'll never forget the

statistic that nearly 50% of people who start jobs are not a good fit for the

job okay so in Wyoming and then are not a

good fit and what happens is that poor management means that people don't

really want to admit that the person who hired them doesn't want to admit that

they made a bad decision a person who's in the job doesn't want to admit they

mean it that decision you usually know within about a week I mean it doesn't

take long for you know very mistake but what ya do is compensate for that and

that's where the challenges and the problems begin and so if you feel like

this may not be a good fit I think the most important thing for you to realize

is that's okay and that's probably normal all right eight but it may not be

I got to really seek out I think really great managers and certainly mentors and

sponsors in your environment who can help you keep mystify what's going on

yeah absolutely no I think I think that's great I you

know running career contessa obviously we hear a lot of you know I don't like

my job how do I change it and one of the pieces of advice from somebody we had a

webinar about how to switch careers and her first thing was

is it that you don't like your job or is it the culture the boss the manager you

know like really getting clarity about what it is because otherwise you just

take that wherever you go and um anyway so some really great tips and I also

think you're just really solidifying um kind of what that person had said which

is hey wait wait wait hit the brakes for a second do some internal work first and

so that we can then go into you know what it is that we need to change

because other reason is taking that to the next job as well that's it yeah well

Tiffany thank you so much for joining us today and where can people find you and

find your book and can you give us just kind of the directions of what they

should do next they should definitely go to tiffanydufu.com

in order to find me and then I also could encourage people

to check out findyourcru.com and see yeah yeah and then just as a

reminder guys her book is called drop the ball how to achieve more by doing

less which I think we can all sign up for we don't want to be slaves to our

to-do list so Thank You Tiffany again and we hope to have you back here soon

thank you so much! Bye! Bye!

How to use Proxy | Enscape for Sketchup - Duration: 3:29.

What's happening ladies and gentlemen,

this is Minh from Architecture Inspirations.

Today I'm going to show you how to use proxy

in Enscape for Sketchup.

Let's get started

1. How to import a Proxy

To import a Proxy,

click on this icon to open Enscape Objects.

Then click on Proxy and you will see a window pop up.

Here you can choose a component

that you want to import as a proxy.

For example I will import this Tree here

Make sure that the file type is a Ssketchup file,

otherwise it will not work.

Now I can left click to place the proxy.

When imported,

you will see an empty box in Sketchup.

But in Enscape, you will see that it's rendered correctly.

There we go, now you can click again

to place more of that same proxy component.

2. Import a collection of proxies

In my Sketchup model,

I usually import a collection of

proxies on the side like this.

This often includes proxies for landscape elements

like Trees, flowers, rocks, etc.

This way, I can easily find what I want later

and I can start copying and pasting this Proxy

and place it wherever I want.

3. Use Skatter

If you have the Skatter plugin,

you can use it as a way to quickly populate your site

with models of trees like so.

I won't go into detail on how to use Skatter

because I want to focus more on Enscape in this video.

There we go

Looking pretty good so far!

You can even do it with flowers and grass as well.

4. Create Proxy from component

Another way to create a Proxy

is to create it from an existing component.

For example,

If there's a component that's slowing down the model

or is taking a lot of space,

you can turn it into a proxy.

First, make sure it's a component.

Then right click

and select Save as external model for Enscape.

Make sure to save this in the same location

as the other proxy models to make it more organized.

When you do this,

original model will be saved and a proxy will replace it.

There we go, pretty cool huh?

5. Updating a Proxy

Remember you can also use proxies

for interior elements as well.

Such as this set of furniture here.

Sometimes you need to make a change to that model,

like changing the material

or moving a part of the model,

such as this piece of furniture here,

which is blocking the doorway.

First, you will need to open the original model.

Then make the changes.

Next, save the model.

Now go back to the scene

There it is, it's been updated.

As you can see, proxy is a really powerful

and convenient way to add more details to your render

without slowing down your computer.

There we go,

that's how to use Proxy in Enscape for Sketchup.

That's all for today guys,

leave a like if you enjoy the video,

comment below if you have any questions.

Stay inspired guys, and I will see you, next time.

Jewelry Making Findings Starter kit Tool Set - Duration: 5:43.

hey everyone it's Kellie here from Kellie Chasse Fine Art. today I'm going to

cover some jewelry findings it's this little starter kit that I use in my

online class for my alcohol ink resin pendant and I just wanted to show you

what's in the kit and I will also give you a link down below for a special

coupon if you want to try the online jewelry course stick around and I'll

show you all the details I do have full online classes you can find them over

there at my website at kellielynnart.com where I have over 2,500 students in 85

different countries and over 24 online classes that have lifetime access so

head over there and check those out

welcome to my YouTube channel where I have new videos every Tuesday at 9 a.m.

Eastern Standard Time so make sure you click that subscribe button and click a

little bell and you'll never miss one so welcome to my youtube channel if you're

new here thanks for joining us we're gonna cover some jewelry findings today

in this little kit that I found on Amazon perfect little kit has everything

you need to get started with jewelry making you get the little pliers here

there has some little rope some wire some fishing line a little measure it

also comes with a little tape measurer fabric one and it has some tweezers

helps you grab ahold of those little tiny findings it's got two different

ones here and it also has this little kit with all the little findings in it

so there's lots of different little jump rings in here and some bails and all

kinds of little goodies so really everything you need to get started with

with this kit so we're going to start off with one of the little jump rings

here this is going to be for our round pendant that we have this one I already

had a little hole in there so all we're going to do is slip this little jump

ring right through the hole here. Now that kit does come with a couple

different sizes and it has a smaller one and has this larger one. I found that I

use the larger one for a lot of things here.

So you're just going to put that in

there and crimp that and now that will lay flat on your chain so I will give

you a link to the chains that I picked up as well and I'll leave you that link

down here in the comment section or you can also use my link on the bio page of

YouTube so all you have to do is just click the purchase projects here and I

do have the rope chains on there as well for you

so how simple is that we just want to make sure that that's lined up and you

don't have a space in there so make sure that that's crimped really well tighten

that up just a little bit more here there we go

and voila that one is finished so let's go ahead and do the next one now this

one we had to put a little eyelet on there so I'm going to use this little

crimp bail and these come with that kit as well I'm just going to separate that

out and these will just pinch right in between there and this again will hold

that so that it lays flat on your chain I'm just going to slide this in here and

then we're just going to pinch that closed

you

again make sure you've got that nice and tight you don't want that to fall off

and there we have it so this will like now lay flat on there just slide the

chain in there and that one will be good to go as well so they also have fabric

change they have the rope chains they have the leather there so there's lots

of different variations that you can put with these this one here is ready do the

same thing with that one little little pincher and you can see the different

shape from this mold here this one was with the alcohol ink the one with the

purple was the one that we had done with the India ink so you can see that the

alcohol ink really dropped down all the way to the bottom and the India ink more

or less stayed more at the top because we had to use the the toothpick to stir

that up a little bit so here's the finished piece on this one again we'll

add a little chain to this when this one has that crystal look to it it would be

neat to put some glitter in there you could put some rocks in the bottom of

that you could just really do anything you want mix and match the colors add a

few more alcohol inks to that so it's only what your imagination can come up

with so now this little kit helps you out and if you want to check out my full

online jewelry courses I have I think three or four of them up now on udemy

and you can head to my website at www.keytime.com

for some up sale prices so we'll see you guys next Tuesday thank you

you

On Ebay, I Have Bought 400 Soviet Paintings - Jordan Peterson 2018 - Duration: 6:08.

do you buy a lot of stuff on eBay oh god I bought things on eBay like a mad dog

for like right oh I bought like 400 Soviet paintings on eBay well I've been

fascinated with totalitarianism forever and what happened was I read this paper

by a guy named James Pennebaker who's a really great psychologist at the

University of Texas at Austin and he was interested in when things become history

rather than just yesterday and he said well statutes and so forth often start

going up about 15 years after an event so he thought things turn into history

15 years and that was in 2000 and I thought oh it's 11 years after the

Berlin Wall fell the Soviet Union is just about history and so then I went on

eBay and I thought I wonder if I could buy some Soviet era artifacts you know I

was curious so I started looking and the first thing I bought was this silk flag

that had been awarded to a factory for meeting its five-year production quota

that's cool I thought it was so funny I just couldn't stand the irony of this

the world's most capitalistic enterprise it's as eBay writes just free trade

that's all it is unregulated free trade now I could buy

Soviet or Karl Marx posters the perfect revenge it is it's so it's so comical

yeah it's so comical my daughter bought me a Karl Marx doll once because it was

for sale and it was like 50% off that's just too funny right it's like discount

and so I bought this flag and then I was looking through the same guys site so

he's basically a Soviet junk dealer and he had this huge painting it's just

sprawled out on the ground at one photo that was bad had a big rip in the corner

it was Lenin and Trotsky and Jews in ski who'd run the KGB announcing the

establishment of the Soviet Union in the Winter Palace at st. Petersburg and it

was like 10 feet long and eight feet high and it's really high-quality

painting because original original the Soviets had state-sponsored artists

and they paid the to make these you know paintings for

their big buildings and they pay them like three months salary for a painting

he wanted like a hundred bucks for it so I bought it and I got it now I rolled it

I had the rib fixed and now it's in my living room and weirdly enough and I

thought wow that's so amazing and so I started looking for paintings right and

then I got I found about six junk dealers on eBay they're all in the

Ukraine because most of the Soviet paintings had been vacuumed up by

British and American collectors before that so I missed them but I got I got

the Ukraine and then I got a network of about 15 people in the Ukraine who were

going around picking up Soviet era artifacts and they were just emailing me

pictures of all these paintings they found most of them were just horrible

like 9 out of 98 out of 100 of them were terrible terrible and two of them were

they're so good I couldn't believe it the technical quality was so high and so

I just bought every one I could get my hands on so I have this crazy you are

gonna have one of the best collections of art of all time well I was interested

in it for two reasons I mean one was the irony it's like so funny it then there

was there was this other thing is that the the Soviets kept their like 19th

century studios essentially intact so they had highly trained artists and so

they were producing realist impressionist versions of modern life so

I have a painting for example of yuri gagarin

who was the first man in space standing in front of a rocket and radar and it's

done in like a 19th century impressionist style it was from 1962 so

that's so cool to see that and but I also really like the paintings because

they're this weird battleground they're battleground between art because the

quality of the artist is extraordinarily high and propaganda and you can see the

art which which is a much powerful force than Trent than propaganda you can see

the art and the propaganda struggling on the canvas and over time you can see the

art winning because like in a hundred years that painting of Lenin it'll

hardly be a painting of Lenin at all because who the hell well anyone no no

one will know anything about Lenin or know more than we know about Napoleon

sure but it'll still be a great painting and so the art the art wins

across time if it has quality the art supersedes the propaganda and then I

wanted to have the paintings around too because I've been obsessed with

totalitarianism and and the human capacity for atrocity and having these

paintings around just keeps that in my mind it keeps me remembering that all of

this happened and so and I want to remember that so there you have it you

can find anything from a Russian song really is I have been buying lots of

like vintage old t-shirts and I love it because like you said a lot of times it

could just be like an shirt that was like merch for something I don't even

know why but the art is so cool that I justify it because I like how the art

was care what it was this company that's gone out of business and nobody

remembers who cares about produce this incredible shirt with like puffy paint

and glitter like what I want to be as a clothing right buddy and so like the

detail and the manufacturing expertise is like so beyond right we can even do

as professional clothing makers right well it's so funny because you know when

an when an artifact is produced mass-produced it's like it's dirt cheap

a but it's not because once they start producing and that gets rare it would

cost you like you couldn't do it you couldn't produce a shirt like that for

about fifty thousand dollars right it was dirt cheap because they made a

hundred thousand of them yeah but once they're gone

you have that artifact just like it's irreplaceable no one will make it price

you know yeah several hundred dollars in the home for a vintage shirt mm-hmm

Verizon's 5G Incubator: ChalkTalk Using 5G to Transform Education | Technology Demo | Verizon - Duration: 1:59.

People solve problems and they either use the tools they have or they develop new tools.

I started developing Chalktalk so I could understand what that visual language might be like because I knew augmented reality was coming.

I think the original ideas for Chalktalk probably started when I was about 6 years old.

I read Harold and the Purple Crayon It was a fantasy for children…

… about a little boy who could take his purple crayon and draw things and they would come to life.

I've been interested in understanding how people will express themselves in that future

…when I can just draw in the air and you can see it too and that drawing can come to life.

That fundamental conversational exchange- that's the core of what we're exploring.

My students are really excited about the collaboration with Verizon and the fact that there's a 5G node right here at the Alley.

… Because they've been wanting to do these experiments with wireless communication.

And that delay that's less than 1/100th of a second that gives you that real responsiveness.

If we want the whole world to adopt it, we really need to be working with someone like Verizon.

In a way, we're trying to extend language itself to be something that's visual instead of just something that we hear.

The best way to explain about physics is just to demonstrate it.

So if I draw a pendulum, I should be able to connect that pendulum to the graph.

And then as I swing the pendulum, you see the sine wave that shows the magnitude….

Everything we do as human beings is to support mind to mind, emotion to emotion communication

…using whatever physicality we can get our hands on.

Chalktalk is a way of extending that freedom and that human to human communication to the visual space.

ZeeZeeVlogz #59: I'll Miss You, South Korea [Last Day] - Duration: 12:45.

Good morning people today's day seven, right?

It's the last day. :(

This might be my last day of vlogging.

We're going out

sorry bud

Everyone is still negotiating.

bargaining

and deciding what to buy.

Look how much my aunty bought.

So now we're here to learn about Korean skincares.

Our lab rat no la haha.

Hi guys, today um...

It's nothing much to film because there are so many sales going on like ginseng and skincare and all those things.

Um, but unfortunately I'm not interested in any of it (cos I'm poor TT)

In my opinion

Those salesperson can be very scary sometimes so we

Me and Weish secretly, where's Weish? Me and Weish secretly ran to the bus and hide.

SLEEP.

Why the table so unstable one?

We're walking to Deoksu Palace.

My tour guide was helping us to take photo but in fact he's actually, he didn't know he actually recorded video.

Qute.

Oh my god, I'm right guys

Palace.

Now we're visiting a 500 plus years old toilet.

Actually is kind of modernised though.

They've already renovated the toilet so

It's not actually 500 years (the structure probably still is)

sorry about that.

Now we'll go Myeongdong to shop for clothes.

Uh, hopefully I can get neck pillow.

What if I just throw it into the bath tub?

It will not produce bubbles.

The bubbles produced won't be that much.

Because according to the video that I've watched, after they threw the bath bomb it'll spread straight away!

This is different. This is the one you've said that will bluprlpbupr. (on her right hand)

So you've to use warm water because there's a lot of essential oils in it.

Oh my god. - eh, do it again!

Weish's fav.

Can you take picture of me? (not this time).

Weish's man jk.

Innisfree got a green cafe, but it's not available in Malaysia though. So we gonna visit.

Look at the pancake!

Korea's Daiso. Totally different

NECK PILLOW!

Finally bought my own neck pillow from Daiso!

That's how it looks like.

Fried chicken from this shop.

We're done eating dinner and now we're gonna find our way back to

Where our tour guide put us? Hopefully we can find within 25 minutes.

Here because we're curious about Korea's movie ticket's price.

So uh... she'll shou uhh hhsue sheu

So press this one.

anddd confirm...

Okay and then what movie you want...

We have all these things with uhrhrh... okay choose one, please

Kingsman.

So, confirm.

How many people? One people, one people.

Choose a bloody seat. I want uh economy

Standard. Standard should be fine.

And then you do you want any popcorn? Don't want.

So uh, it costs 10,000 won.

Almost RM40 in Malaysia and that's expensive!!!

Now we're gonna watch Nanta Show.

They performed so well.

How was the show?

It was good. I like how they include the rhythm in everything.

Basically, it's like uh... they used knives as drums. No.

Basically, they're playing musical instruments(?) using kitchen

Yeah play music with kitchen

Utensil, yeah, you can see kitchen tools

Yeah, they just synchronize everything together and it's good! And very interactive.

And yea, audience participation.

Very good. 10/10

Today will be the last day here in Seoul and I will go back to my house

In Malaysia tomorrow, so I just want to say thank you if you are watching this until today

Not sure if I will

Film it tomorrow or not

If I find it relevant then maybe I will and all I want to say is thank you for watching

Oh, wait, wait, wait, my sister lol.

So uh...thanks for watching my Korea vlogs!

Weishhh, Say something!

SUBSCRIBE!

We got bath bomb for free!

From Wunderbath.

What happened? So how? I don't think I can split this ah.

Oh shit. - Then what should I do?

Look at that small little thing bubbling up awww.

Look at the colour! It's beautiful.

Okay, here it goes. - Because we can't break it.

Look at the colours...

Rainbow bath bomb.

I thought ah we can just throw everything to make it look nice but I don't think it's enough for everything because she

Needs the half the another half for herself.

What should I do to prepare for surgery? - Duration: 1:17.

A provider answers a patient's question in his office.

What do I need to do to prepare for surgery?

Well, you need to keep taking good care of yourself --

eating well, taking your medicines,

and keeping your appointments.

It's also important to protect your veins.

And the way you protect your veins

is to not allow anyone to draw blood or put an IV

in any part of your arm above your wrist.

The surgeon will be operating on those veins,

and he doesn't want any extra holes in them.

So if someone needs to put an IV in you or to draw blood,

ask them to use one of the veins in your hand.

Usually, the fistula, or the graft,

if they can't put a fistula in, is put in the non-dominant arm.

What that means is, if you're right-handed,

they'll put it in your left arm.

But you need to protect the veins in both arms,

because sometime in the future, they may not be able

to use the veins in your left arm,

and they'll need to go to your right arm.

So these veins altogether are your lifeline,

and you need to protect them.

After 3 weeks in Italy (V-BLOG) - Duration: 5:31.

Hello everyone! It's me Yuriko Tiger owo

Hello little tigers! Welcome back to my channel. I'm so happy to be filming this video

Right now I'm in Italy and I will be staying here for four weeks

to attend many conventions

You have already met me at Napoli Comicon, Milano Comics and also

at a fan meeting in Ferrara, at the Comic Festival

I've done so many things that I don't even remember where I've been

I've been on the move for three weeks basically until I stopped for three days at my place

Where I got the chance to just relax

I've spent a whole day doing nothing and I later stared questioning If I was forgetting to do something

But no. My mum stopped me and said: " No, you're not doing anything today".

I'm so used to the Tokyo life where everyday I get the chance to do something new

And everyday I create new commitments, I make lots of programs

I do so many things that, most of the time, I end up struggling to keep up with them

And today I'm here just to thank you guys <3

For things such as this beautiful, handmade, Puri Puri Taiga gifted by a fan

And behind me there are a multitude of gifts that I recived from you during these three weeks

They're amazing. I've read all your letters and answered to all your messages on the Facebook page

They made me cry and laugh

It was beautiful.

Thank you so much <3

I use this small break in Italy to get so much love

hugs and kisses that I end up with a reserve, just like Santa

And them I "throw" them in Japan. Aaarg I want to hug everyone but i can't

I can only do it here in Italy. I have noticed that in these two years,

although my fans didn't grow that much,

because I stopped doing YouTube for the majority of the time

WHY DID I STOP? QWQ

As la Sabri gamer (that I Met in Milan) asked me

why did you stop? It's a nice question!

Unfortunately there have always been some highs and lows

And I also had a "small" Youtube realted trauma when

all my three year savings where stolen

They entered my accont and literally stole everything

It was a complete shocker and from then on I stopped doing Youtube

But I want to start over. There will be many videos

In Japanese and Italian... a mix basically

Because, in the end, my life is a mix between

Italy, Japan and now also the world.

I am going to conquer the world èwé

As I was saying even thought my followers didn't grow that much (on the Internet)

The people who came to greet me doubled (if not tripled) in the last two years

There was this herd

let's call it this way... there was this herd of boys and girls

And also many young people, mums, dads with their daughters

A multitude of people

And I was like: "Will we be able to do everything in like three hours?"

In other words it was a beautiful thing...

And I'm here now just to say thank you <3

I will try to go back to Italy as soon as possible

I'm trying to find a new video editor \video maker that also knows different languages

to edit both Japenese and Italian videos

Because, unfortunately, yes, I could do it

but I can not spend 5\6 hours everyday in front of a screen

because If i did so I wouldn't be able to sleep. And sleep deprivation means getting sick more frequently

I've also been feeling a bit sick during these three weeks

Someone also noticed it and told be that I looked pale

because I literally had no breaks

And I had to travel from one side of Italy to the other. I was attending meetings, doing photo shoots, taking care of my Patreon (Translator note: check her Patreon page please :3)

I literally did 1200 things

I was killing myself

Until I unexpectedly extended

my stay here in Italy for a week

because I could postpone some appointments that i had in Japan

And so I told myself that I needed two days off

And in these two days I thought that I could film this short video

In which I have to speak real fast

because a delicious pizza is waiting for me

so that I can gain three more kilos (on top of the ones that I've already gained)

I've noticed from all these events and also from my fans that

YouTube gave me the possibility not only to

recive love and personal satisfaction

Because it's really heartwarming to see crowds and crowds

of people who came there for me

People who talk about their lives, people who confess things to me

or share their personal experiences or ask for a piece of advice

I felt kinda like and older sister (I'm growing up )

So, yes. It was beautiful.

Thank you <3

This is just a part of all the gifts that I recived from you guys. I apologize if you can't see all of them

Because they are so, so many <3

Lots of letters and cute drawings

comics that you guys gave to me

This is my corner of happiness

Whenever I'm allowed to at a convention I make this corner of happiness

dedicated to all your presents and drawings

I put them all there and I just look at them <3

I've called it the corner of happiness

Because it is the happiest thing in the world and it makes me smile <3

Look how cute they aree <3 (Some of them were taken away by Shiori)

I most likely don't have them all here (the other half is surely in my suitcase)

I hope that I will be able to take most of them with me to Japan

This one is huge

Some people even gifted me banners, toys and lots of chocolate

This is so cool. THANK YOU <3

Co Si Myslím O Greeny Czech + Speedpaint - Duration: 2:31.

Hi guys, after moths of procrastination

I finally decided to make this video

I added some new features, I hope you're gonna like it

drawing/oc's

Like Catin she lacks in anatomy

and her art style is rather simplistic

she adds shadows in but I would like to see some highlights as well

and now her Oc's

Greeny is her main OC

and her colors are pretty bright and neon like

I see this problem A LOT

imo: the colors of her hair, tail etc. are too bright

and I know she was young when she created this Oc

but if the colors weren't as bright

It would look much better

I would recommend using these colors instead

the change in colors doesn't need to be too drastic

but it can help a lot

and one last thing...

I wouldn't ship oc's that look like siblings

it might look a little weird

Animation Quality

her animations are pretty average

but if I compared her to people with the same amount of subs

we can see that she lacks in editing and drawing

and if I was 100% honest

even Catin's animations look better

but it's mostly because Catin adds more detail to her art

Final Thoughts

I can describe Greeny in 1 word

OVERRATED

it means that she doesn't deserve her subs

for example Catin has 7x less then Greeny

Tady Tina has 1,5x less the Greeny

and I have 62x less the Greeny

and these people are big names in the Czech animation meme community

...exept for me ;-;

from the things I heard Greeny is a nice person

she needs to step up her game

but she isn't the worst

Geez, I've been in New York for all this time and I still haven't learned English!

I think I'll find a YouTube channel to learn from.

Mr. Teacher Paulo, Tim Explains, Ask Jackie, the other Paulo, Mairo Vergara,

"Bombing in English" with João do Litoral? Never heard of it!

Ah! It's a new channel, it debuted today. I'm going to watch.

Good evening, and welcome to my channel.

If you want to rock some English,

you've come to the right place.

But before we go on, who am I?

My name is João do Litoral,

but in the United States, you call me Literal John.

For as long as I can remember,

I dreamed of learning English.

But without money for school, I memorized the dictionary,

from beginning to end.

But it was too difficult.

But now, with YouTube, learning English doesn't have.

to be that hard.

With me, you'll conquer English. We're in this together!

For CORRECT English, turn on the subtitles (which you've already done).

Hey my dear friends, hello there!

To excel in English, you need to follow

three simple rules.

Only three!

Can you believe that?

1) Translate word for word.

2) Depend on the dictionary.

When in doubt, guess.

It's as easy as putting on your socks.

And your age doesn't matter.

As Americans say, better late than never.

Better...late...than...never.

It works! I'm rocking this English!

Listen carefully. If you're having a snack,

put down your chicken fritter,

peanut brittle, or coconut custard.

And now, let's do it!

Today's theme is: phrasal verbs.

Some Brazilian YouTubers think phrasal verbs are hard.

Imagine your American friends say:

What is "hang out"?

Of course we need to translate both words.

If you already know the words, it's a piece of cake.

If not, look them up in the dictionary.

It's two times the work, but as they say,

It's worth it.

Put them together and you get...

to hang + outside

So when an American says "let's hang out,"

he wants to spend time with you.

What the heck? Tell him to get real.

Number 2, "hold back".

Hold is...back is...

So hold back must mean:

Hold onto someone's back!

Easy! This method works.

One more: to make up.

OK, I already know "make".

Now let's look up "up" in the dictionary.

Wow, there are so many meanings.

When this happens, time for rule #3: guess.

"Erect"

"To make erect"???

Oh no! We can't talk about getting it on here.

This is a channel aimed at families.

Did you learn a lot today? Great!

You did a great job.

Subscribe to the channel,

and if you have any doubts about the English language,

write me in the comments.

Or of you want to criticize, it's no problem.

You can even use curse words.

I can take it.

Hugs for everyone, come back soon!

As Americans say, "better late than never."

Want me to read that one more time?

Yeah, that's fine.

Oh no, we cannot talk about getting it on here!

This is a...sorry.

This is a ridiculous thing.

Ian McEwan - Como nascem os grandes personagens - Duration: 2:09.

Each novel seems to come from a different place.

The novel I just finished, for example, came from a first sentence

that just presented itself to me.

"So, here I am upside down in a woman". And then I just

unfolded that idea.

Sometimes it comes from something I read in a newspaper, or

something that someone has told me,

and sometimes it just comes from

just pure thought, something pursued in the mind.

So, there's never any single defining,

or repeating source for the beginning of a book.

I think that's an important element:

to get inside the mind of someone else.

Formation of character within the novel

is really that same project of

an imaginary character, a ghost, as it were,

that the novelist has to inhabit, and see through their eyes.

When I was writing that novel,

I was aware that in some ways this is very limiting,

to have a blind narrator, who can hardly move,

has very little agency.

But then I saw that there were a lot of opportunities, because

I think it's true that every emotional state that we have

is also a physical state.

And, because he can hear his mother's heart,

and her viscera, and guts,

he has a direct line, as it were,

to the shifting emotions that she experiences.

And you can measure the distance between

the appearance that she puts on and the reality that she's feeling.

I began to see that this was a rather privilegedpoint of view.

14 PROSTYCH SPOSOBÓW, ABY POZBYĆ SIĘ WZDĘCIA! - Duration: 3:11.

Dodaj do diety quinoa.

Przyciśnij palce do brzucha w okolicy prawego biodra, przesuń w górę w kierunku żeber i nad śledzioną, cały czas ruchem okrężnym. Ten rodzaj ruchu pomoże w uwolnieniu z żołądka nagromadzonych gazów.

Bądź bardziej aktywny fizycznie.15-20 minut aktywności fizycznej dziennie pomoże Ci uniknąć zaparcia i zapewni prawidłowe przesuwanie się masy pokarmowej przez układ trawienny.

BONUS – Koktajl przeciw wzdęciom.½ szklanki wody kokosowej.1 1/2 szklanki pokrojonego ananasa (świeżego lub mrożonego).1 cm obranego korzenia imbiru.1/2 szklanki lodu.garść szpinaku.1 łyżeczka kurkumy.Szczypta pieprzu cayenne
