My Dream Team: Kostas Manolas - Duration: 3:07.

Hi, I'm Kostas Manolas and this is my Dream Team.

I'm going with a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Buffon is my goalie.

I don't really need to explain why.

He's one of the best of all time and has shown great consistency.

Maicon on the right.

When I played with him I could instantly see the quality and ability he had

to help out in attack.

My centre-back pairing is Cannavaro and Nesta.

They're two of the best defenders of all time.

There's not much you can say about those two!

My left-back is Maldini.

In midfield I'll go with Xavi.

He did amazing things at Barcelona and won everything there is to win.

Next up is Zinedine Zidane.

He was one of my favourite players.

I loved the way he played – he was so intelligent and had a great touch.

In front of them is Francesco Totti.

He's the best player I've ever played with.

He won the World Cup and spent 25 years at Roma.

He put Roma on the map – everyone was talking about him.

He was a phenomenon.

On the left is Cristiano Ronaldo.

You only have to look at what he's won.

Five Ballon d'Or, the Champions League… he's won it all, with Portugal too.

On the right is Lionel Messi.

What can you say? He can win a game on his own.

He's a phenomenal player.

Up top is Brazilian Ronaldo.

For me, he's the best ever.

There isn't – and there will never be – anyone else like him.

I hope you like my Dream Team!

I reckon my team could beat anyone – all the players are amazing.

Thanks.

Dungeons & Dragons Factions - Order of the Gauntlet and Cult of the Dragon - Duration: 5:47.

This episode of Forgotten Realms Explained is sponsored by Patron Blades.

Hello everybody Jorphdan here the PH is silent.

Let's continue with our faction talk and dive into the next one, the Order of the Gauntlet.

I'll preface this video by saying I couldn't find a ton of information on the Order.

I believe it was created to flesh out the factions for D&D probably in 4th edition but it wasn't really

given a rich history.

I'll do my best though but this may be a shorter video!

The Order of the Gauntlet is a new organization.

Comprised mostly of clerics, paladins, and monks of the lawful good variety.

They have an agenda similar to that of the Harpers.

Wanting to squash evil wherever it can be found, and uphold the just laws of civilization.

Ending oppression and keeping the people free.

Similar to the Harpers in ideals their methods are vastly different.

Unlike the Harpers they don't hide in the shadows but work out in the open to stop evil.

Frequently seeking aid from law enforcement.

Members of this organization are faithful and vigilant seekers of justice.

They wish to protect others from evildoers and will exact swift retribution against those

who violate the law.

Many people who are in the Order of the Gauntlet worship a set of specific deities.

They are the deities you would expect, Tyr, Helm, Torm, and Hoar.

Gods of justice, law, protection and retribution.

Which I've made a deity video on all of those guys, so check it out if you're curious

for more.

Order of the Gauntlet is full of holy warriors, that tend to be proficient in Religion.

They respect the Harpers but I feel wanted to take a more lawful approach to evil which

is why the organization was formed.

The order will not act until evil has broken the law.

Which makes them different from the Harpers.

The Harpers see evil and will stop it, prevent it if you will.

But the Order of the Gauntlet must wait until you've committed an evil act or broken the

law to take action against you.

It's followers are faithful in their god, their friends, and their self.

Faith is considered their greatest weapon against evil.

Their symbol is a gauntlet grasping a sword by the blade.

It symbolizes the willingness to face danger head on and protect those that evil would

strike at.

It really feels more like the military version of the Harpers in a way.

They don't have a main headquarters or keep and operate primarily out of temples of Helm,

Torm, and Tyr.

And honesty that's all the information I could find about the Order.

I don't know when it was founded other than it was recent, which I'm assuming is in

the last 100 years of Forgotten Realms History.

So that's it for today, thanks for watching everyone and…..

Well I can't just end a video like it's just too early…

Let's talk about another organization, an evil organization if you will.

We can talk about one of the Order of the Gauntlet's main enemy in Faerun.

The Cult of the Dragon.

The Cult of the dragon, also known as the Keepers of the Secret Hoard, or the Wearers

of Purple is a semi-religious evil organization that sought to create and worship undead dragons

or dracoliches.

The cult was founded by a man named Sammaster, a powerful wizard.

Now Sammaster was a former chosen of mystra and is the one who discovered the process

to turn a dragon into a dracolich.

Born in 800 DR and by 851 DR become a chosen of Mystra.

However by 875 DR Sammaster was convinced to attack his former lover.

Sammaster was striped of his chosen powers and he fully embraced evil this point on.

By 902 DR Sammaster created his first dracolich and documented the process in a book entitled

Tome of the Dragon.

He then created a cult known as the Cult of the Dragon which started to spread across

Faerun acquiring many enemies such as the Harpers.

Sammaster truly believed that dead dragons would rule the world and thus began working

towards that goal.

It was around 1370 DR the cult had spread greatly with different leaders in separate

areas.

These leaders started having their own ideas of which direction the Cult of the Dragon

should go, which ultimately causes more problems for groups like the order of the gauntlet

and the Harpers.

This one cult now had multiple motivations and was acting on each of them.

The cult loves dragons, but more than that evil dragons, but even more than that dracoliches.

They gather intelligence for evil dragons in Faerun and contribute treasure to their

hoards.

Aiding them in any way possible, they do this in hopes the dragon will return the favor

and aid them however it can.

This might be in battle, through magic, or leadership.

Sammaster eventually died, he became a lich but was destroyed battling an avatar of Lathander.

This was an epic fight, and you can read it in the Cult of the Dragon page 19.

But to summarize Lathander used his holy light that became brighter than the sun and destroyed

Sammaster turning him into a few pounds of fine ash.

However being a lich Sammaster's soul fled to his Phylactery where he returned some 300

years later.

There are active cult cells all over Faerun.

Wherever you find dragons, especially evil dragons you will most likely find some members

of the Cult of the Dragon.

They worship evil dragons, attempt to gain intelligence and magic items for them in hopes

to live with them in their lair.

And eventually convince them to become a Dracolich, which can only be created with the help of

wizards who have the Tome of the Dragon written by Sammaster.

The order of the gauntlet is a sworn enemy of the Cult of the Dragon.

But they have lots of enemies.

The Harpers also, as well as the Zhentarim, the Church of Tiamat, and the Red Wizards

of Thay.

Check 'em out with the link in the description.

And that's it for today, really

I'll keep going with the faction videos and hopefully find more information than I

did on the Order of the Gauntlet.

It felt like Wizards wanted to have some options for factions but didn't get a rich backstory

to some of them.

However the Cult of the Dragon has an interesting history and if you want to learn more there's

a great supplement called the Cult of the Dragon that has loads of information.

Thanks for watching everyone and I'll see you next week with another video from Forgotten

Realms Explained.

Fred drops huge hint he's set to complete Manchester United transfer - Duration: 2:15.

Fred drops huge hint he's set to complete Manchester United transfer

Shakhtar Donetsk star Fred has dropped a major hint that he's set to join Manchester United.

The Red Devils have tracked the Brazilian throughout the season and Manchester City cleared the way for their Premier League rivals to sign Fred by pulling out of the race to sign him in February.

Jose Mourinho is keen to strengthen his midfield and defence this transfer window with United handing him around £150million to spend.

Fred touched down in London today as Brazil prepare to take on Costa Rica in a friendly at Anfield but the midfielder has been busy exciting United fans.

The 25-year-old 'liked' a comment on his most recent Instagram post that said 'Welcome to Manchester'.

United hope to take advantage of the fact that Fred is in the UK by conducting his medical during his stay in the north-west and it appears the transfer is only a matter of time.

Replying to a post on Twitter that was congratulating Fred on his move to Manchester United, the midfielder replied: 'Thank you' in Portuguese.

The midfielder has a £53 million release clause in his contract and Shakhtar insist they won't listen to offers below that mark.

Fred is set to be the first arrival in what is likely to be a busy summer at Old Trafford.

Mourinho wants Fred's international team-mate Alex Sandro to join from Juventus and he's valued at around £45 million.

Toby Alderweireled, the Tottenham defender, is another target while United have also been linked with a big money move for Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.

Manchester United transfer news: Manchester United 'need' special Neymar or Gareth Bale - Duration: 2:54.

Manchester United transfer news: Manchester United 'need' special Neymar or Gareth Bale

Manchester United have been urged to sign a 'special' type of player in the mould of Gareth Bale or Neymar in order to continue to challenge under Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho's tactics were often criticised last season, with United finishing as the lowest scorers in the Premier League's top four on their way to a second place finish behind champions Manchester City.

Building a squad capable of making up the 19-point gap between the Manchester rivals will be Mourinho's main task this summer, and Paul Scholes says a marquee name is required.

'If he [Jose Mourinho] can change something through the summer, buy new players and he can find a way of playing that maybe is a little bit more entertaining then who knows, you don't know,' said Scholes.

'A lot can happen over the summer. Let's hope we can get close again. We need some good attacking players.

I think the nucleus of the squad is quite good, there's some really good young attacking players.

'I think he possibly needs a bit of help with [Romelu] Lukaku. He seems like the only out-and-out centre-forward he's got.

'It's hard to know what's available, would Gareth Bale be available? People like Neymar will they be available? I don't know.

These are the type of special players that I think United need.'.

Scholes was speaking moments prior to Bale inspiring Real Madrid to their third successive Champions League success against Liverpool in Kiev.

The Wales international netted a breath-taking bicycle-kick to put Real in front for a second time before Loris Karius allowed his 30-yard shot to slip through his grasp to confirm the 3-1 win.

Despite his match-winning intervention, Bale has slipped down the pecking order at the Bernabeu and could leave Spain if Real's £200 million valuation is met this summer.

Meanwhile, Neymar could yet leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer after just 12 months in the French capital amid speculation over a switch to Real.

Bloopers of the 39 Hours of Alberta Geocaching with #KeepersOfTheCacheFlo - Duration: 9:52.

[SassCache] Videoing is hard. [StacheCache] Sometimes, yeah [Sass] Where do my words go and what do i do with my face

Which means, Maybe, ouch

Goodness, gracious not cursing. However, I feel hopeful that we will find them

you like that?

*Musicly Repeats self*

HedgeHam hand-bomb

SacheCache is gonna grab our caching crates. We're gonna do it on foot

[Stache] It's always a good day for adventure we like exploring things together

Like exploring new knowledge

[Sass] we need to shut it down

[Stache] Shut it down!

[Sass] Shut it down!

[Stache] Shut it down.

[Sass] He's got a face only a mother could love

[Stache] And we want to know if

[Sass] Do it with me

..That was not..

I want like the, like the star hands

So we can

[Stache] What do you want me to do?

[Sass] Just hold this

So I could show my getup

See that ball of fur?

That's HedgeHam

He fell right asleep

[Stache] Oh you spun it around I

Didn't know you spun it around you got a back way up here. You want me to see you?

[Sass] I Will take one medium over ten micros any day

[Stache] As long as I get a log to sign I don't really care

[Sass] I know but you got the eyes for the micro's

[Stache] So does the SauceCache [Sass] yes, [Stache] SauceCache finds them right Quickly

Me and Flutterby

we like *with accent* the big big caches

[Stache] We'll make this new rule of "bring a baby harness" geocaching 109

Actually, no, I think we're on 113 113. Yeah

109 is look for waypoints

I really got to write these down

[Sass] There's a little piece of artwork that reminds me of something that um,

Flutterby recently did, actually

[Stache] Additionally for those who don't know. What is something could be most of you about two years ago

I fell off the back of a flat-deck pickup and then went

Tumbling down a hill as we were parked next to it

so my ankle can only do so much and it

has decided I'm done for the day

[Sass] I had knee surgery a year ago

[Stache] Yeah your knee's been doing pretty good though

its the other one that's the problem

[Sass] *giggling* yeah

In the dark

*Whispering* I am coming up from behind

I am only one cache away from breaking even with him

Hopefully this cache will be that one point

*normally* Man our bodies are weak [Stache] Out of shape. You don't get much done over the winter [Sass] Out of practice

[Sass] It's deep enough for crocodiles living tell you what

Need to save a little bit of face

[Stache] why do you gatta interrupt me when I'm talking?

[Sass] I'm Sorry

Say it again we'll edit it

[Stache] Look at this Sexiness, I really like your camera angles [Sass] Right that's what I'm saying you look so handsome and you hair looks really on point.

Which is funny 'cuz it's just like wild today. [Sass] I know

[Stache] I was beaver then a cub

As far as I went with that jump over air cadets after that

Never learning how to fly

[Sass] *Singing* Learning to fly,

but I ain't got wings

Coming down

Is the hardest thing

Oh

[Stache] Good Job [Sass] Thanks

[Sass] My goodness, I'm getting so scratched up

[Stache] What are we Sesame Street?

[Sass]*imitates the Count* L ha ha ha ha ha U

*normally* Lusty? *continues imitation* U

HA ha ha

*normally* Doesn't he do that?

Spells out words?

the Count

*together* No he counts

[Sass]*whispering* So the tallies

are sitting at

3 & a Half for StacheCache

2 and a 1/2 for me, SassCache

And StacheCache still has no idea that I've restarted the tally system

I'm tired, and I'm cold and I just didn't want to get out of the vehicle on this one. So I

Sent StacheCache

To give her a shot and find her he's so good like that

he always gets the ones I don't want to get out of the vehicle for I

Love him for that

*imitates sound of failure*

I didn't watch a lot of TV when I was a kid

[Stache] *while laughing* It's in his name

[Sass] I get it now

Geocaching Always takes us longer then we expect it to

[Stache] Pretty Much

[Sass] Weak Backup

You can be my dream girl though

Work on those vocals

I Just thought it was Count Dracula

Like count Dracula [Stache] Yeah

[Sass] and now I understand

Because he Counts numbers

It took me along time to realize that

Embarrassing

*with accent* Not a donkey

[Stache] I I I also find that especially when you're doing your vlog I find it's hard for my brain to work

And I know when I start vlogging from my angle you you seem to have harder time interacting with me

Unless we talk about things before

Pretty sure our first one happened while we were coming home from the Hythe reunion last year.

[Sass] I don't know, I was pregnant and remember nothing

[Stache] ok, try that again

[Sass] There's so much wolf poop [Stache] it's not wolf poop it's dog poop

[Sass] Quack, Quack, Quack Quack. It was going in the wrong direction

Cache number two

Actually had a waypoint for an entrance about a kilometer away from here to follow a trail

However, I did not notice that last planning this cache. So we're gonna do a bit of bushwhacking

do duck swim backwards?

[Stache] I don't know

[Sass] I don't know.

I Couldn't actually tell that you were glaring in the video or I too would have glared

peanutbutter

Not the crunchy kind

[Stache] Smooth peanutbutter

It's so much closer once it starts recording [Sass] always

[Stache] Cream cheese on a hot bagel, Slick

[Sass] That's kinda melty

[Stache] Still Smooth

My camera really loves you

[Stache] I love you too

[Sass] I didn't say I love you. I said my camera loves you.

[Stache] I tried to drop him off once already

But SassCache made me go pick him up again

Cuz she want to be the one to do it because it was hers and I didn't ask and

I'm, I am a man enough individual to correct my mistakes

[Sass] Oh, do you need confirmation [Stache] no, you already gave it to me i was just trying to make it feel awkward

"I Can Only Imagine" Director Andrew Erwin Gives Wally a Gift - Duration: 2:58.

He is one of the guys behind "I Can Only Imagine" which I got to have a pivotal role in, which

was very exciting for me.

Because I had never done this before.

4.7 seconds?

Uh, maybe?

We'll round it up to 5.

It's ok.

Give it to yourself.

Some have said, "The best 5 seconds in a movie ever."

Yeah, it was up there.

You know.

It was up for a micro Oscar.

Thank you!

Thank you.

Are we talking Oscar buzz already?

They're doing a sub category just for you.

Well, thank you.

So much.

I'm excited about this.

And also excited because I've been told that you've brought a gift to bestow upon me.

I do.

Ok.

Wow.

It's heavy.

That's....that is a very big....that's a very big gift.

This is going to topple you over!

Ok, be careful.

It's taller than you!

That is huge.

Yep!

This is a giant movie poster for "I Can Only Imagine."

And it looks as if it has been signed.

Yeah, it's been signed by all the movie stars of the movie.

All the movie stars have signed this?

Ok.

So I obviously haven't signed it yet.

Oh.

What?

Yeah.

Again.

All the movie stars.

Well, I can only assume the reason you brought this today is because Dennis wants this somewhere

in his house?

Yeah.

And you needed one last signature.

Right?

Sure.

Go with that.

Ok.

So, let me see.

Who do we have?

We have Dennis Quaid....

Are you going to take the poster out?

Uh, no. No.

I'll just sign it right here. It'll be fine.

I'll sign it on the glass.

That'll be fine.

Be careful.

But I think, if no one objects, I'm going to put it right in the middle.

Uh, Bekah.

Can you hold this for me?

This is tantamount to having your hands placed in the cement at Mann's Chinese Theatre.

It's on that level, somewhere.

Ok.

So, I'll just put a little thing on there--nothing too big.

Oh gosh!

Oh my word.

Is that good?

That's perfect.

It's a face tattoo. I love that.

So if you wanna take that back to Dennis....

Yes!

And give him that, that'll be fantastic.

I'm sure he'll appreciate that one.

That'll make the trophy room.

And please tell him that I thought he did a pretty good job in that film.

He did ok!

It's passable.

Yeah.

I was like....I looked at that and I was like....You know....I remember some of my other roles

in the past, and it was reminiscent of some of those, and I was like, "Wow!

That was pretty moving."

We offered it to you first, but you were too expensive.

And so we had to go to second tier.

I do understand that, and sometimes, the B actors give you the most A performances.

Ok?

Or the C actors. Or D.

Speaking of C actors, I'd like to "C" myself in another Erwin Brothers film.

And so, we're going to have to work that out.

You and I are going to have to talk in the future.

Nice.

And this time, I need more than 5 seconds.

We'll give you 10.

Thank you. I'll take it!

This is like Mike Tyson style!

Face tattoo.

That's just right there.

Give it a tiger stripe with it, and we're good!

Sketchbook and watercolor from Winsor & Newton. I draw a portrait + CONTEST! - Duration: 9:13.

All greetings to you with faith and I am very glad to see you on my channel today

I will show you 96 watercolors paper for watercolor and how to draw a skin in watercolor portraits look through

if you want to get an album from watercolor paper as I have with me and ginger there will be a joint competition and so successfully formed

that at me also

a palette of all watercolors from winsor & newton in the dot-map on it and it is written

just add water in English of course, so I'll add a wash and mix and paint the guys have fun today

so mpm last week gave me an album from winsor & newton

for review with cotton watercolor paper cold pressing

The cold prism of watercolor paper is good because it is suitable for a variety of watercolor techniques that

universal option and more

has brought a cold invoice, but it's already for those who prefer the textured I can still draw attention to

An entertaining inscription in the upper right corner of the album with the coat of arms of the Prince of Wales which reads according to the appointment of his Royal Highness

producers of materials for artists winsor & newton

london such an inscription does not receive every production and

the organization of Britain it says about the highest quality so I have to take it and I think it's mine any one is produced in Germany

The vendor has production bases in Germany and France

all I have finished is to get tired you already understood that mpm bad material on the review will not provide for what they need

huge thank you well, I do not like to swear and criticize and you are not banned by the way so write

comment but I did not hint at criticism I read everything and about the magic of the channel remember yes

comments in exchange for your good sketch are those who know exactly who have comments to write while I'm just here

add water to the juice of 96 ingredients you can watch as they behave with this water you paint on

watercolor paper by the way a few words about their watercolors and a bit of history for the modern world

96 colors in the palette of watercolors is very little on the background of for example Korean brands and American with some

astronomical figures of 180 colors or more here everything is extremely simple so historically

that the brand is engaged in the production of only natural paints with natural pigments with a minimal amount

pigments in the composition of the mixes, that is, it is done in order to

to mix the right colors of paints without worrying for their composition without the risk of getting mud at the ignorance of him of the composition

the company aspires to 1 composition of the color for those who are still new to the watercolor theme and who it seemed that now was not

pronounced flow of chemical formulas I will explain why professionals are so thorough

Learn to become paint before you mix and even keep diaries with accurate

enumeration of all the pigments the composition of the paint here is an example for you mom or yourself

if you are an independent boy or girl cooked oatmeal porridge and added her sugar for sweets, we now do not take those

exceptional cases

when the porridge is eaten without sugar and at breakfast you want to eat it with jam in which too much sugar you like yourself

so they poured a lot of jam and generously mixed it with porridge and

got

sugary liqueur that is impossible I now do not take again

exceptional cases when the mawkishness is a good product is spoiled because too much

sugar is also in the colors if in their composition there are many different pigments and in these paints also

mix that gets dirt because too many pigments simply blur all the colors

Not enough to judge the quality of paints, but some shades pleased me right at the beginning, for example, tsyrul and mind and Windsor

blue look just amazing! I do not want to humiliate the Neva palette now, but their mind is for me personally

was a complete disappointment because once I looked

lessons of Veronica Kolycheva and she had a rod and a mind from Van Gogh Well, I decided to save

I also clever masha therefore bought the Neva palette and

he me

disappointed

I was sorry even 70 rubles that I spent on this paint now do not know where to put it, it's absolutely useless

this is some vodichka with a bluish tinge, they paint here and I complained but

van gogh and here's winsor & newton now they're just amazing

probably costs somehow

to fork out but for the time being I'm not in the plans to buy a rod, but I noticed that

Paints marked with g have the effect of granulation and also

caused me a lot of emotions of such colors there are many and they have analogues and without

Granulation in the same palette but it looks great on paper worth trying and

experiment with this very granulation of all the paint

so rich in pigment that it is easy enough to brush with a brush and you are already gaining a lot of color this is a direct saving

Do you really have enough maps for a lot of drawings and I'll give it to my grandchildren and more

in this dude card I came across a purely English humor opera rose

is incomparable in green or is it a mistake or an opera rose I can not see

but I was waiting for this color according to my observation

it is the most popular in the botanical illustration and has different shades from different manufacturers

well, maybe it's for the best so I do not start to mourn over the possible

imperfection of my current

opera rose in comparison with windows key well, okay, and now probably something that was expected of me

clicks shi and cover how do I get the color of the skin

write down for the skin I'm hindering the sienna natural and a little carmine for the shade of the skin

or shadows of the face as you want use sienna burnt

or if there is no substitute for red ocher, I add there the same carmen and

ultramarine so try and experiment

want tan more carmine want pallor reduce it in the makeup but never use just a sienna natural

sienna burnt you will get jaundice or vice versa burnt with hair

by the way, I can not tell every time I paint them differently and yet

the universal formula for types did not deduce for myself but how I will have such an idea then I will share with you

I can only give advice that the hair you do not go out in the form of a dread or

pakli or brushes for washing floors write first mass of hair or hairstyle

light tone and then add more dark

With a thin brush trying to repeat the hairstyle to each hair

Draw and beat out and from your hairstyle hair they add plausibility but do not go too far with them and

draw them better by a round thin brush of squirrel I have this number five you can take the number three brush proteins well

keeps the tip and holds water and paint well and personally I only get the squirrel to get

natural expressive masks that are very similar to hairs wide at the base and thin end

squirrel is just my favorite and synthetics and I could not achieve this

naturalness and columns, too, or I have my hands out of the shoulders in general and paper albums can tell you that

she is

incomparable

almost not warped, but I did not use much water and it allows me to do

correction I managed to wash the paint to a white sheet in one place and not get the coils and on top again everything

I did not show you this place because I'm shy of my mistakes. Well, I corrected the album, in general, it's good for

players and I want to get rid of my embarrassment and draw in public so I'm going to draw to Peter

sights you inspired me with your advice under the previous video so expect a tally with drawing of nature

still here you can tear off leaves there is a perforation

this is probably in case you are approached on the street during drawing and will want to buy your drawing

scissors you have with you I do not want you my subscribers of such people and less savvy critics so paint for money and

for the soul well, and the coolest in the description for the clip there is a link to the post in my instagram with the terms of the contest for

draw 3 sketches as on the video participate draw

inspire and watch me every Wednesday and Thursday and I love you very much and kiss your faith all bye

Bike to preschool VLOG - Duration: 11:59.

Hey, hey! It's a week day...

-No. -Yes?

-It is. -What day do you think it is?

Park.

Park day.

Maybe you'll visit the park with your preschool?

No...

-Do you want to go to the park with us? -Yes!

-Not today, because I have to work. -Me too.

What are you having for breakfast?

-Poop. -Harry!

You're having yogurt with lingonberry jam. It'll turn into poop later.

In that case I'm also having poop.

-Oh... -Why did you say that?

-That it'll turn into poop? -Yes.

-Because it will. -We're going to hear this at every meal!

There you go.

It's 8 AM and it's time to take our bikes to preschool.

Yes!

We're making this video in collaboration with Crescent.

Those who've followed us for a while know that we like riding our bikes.

And ever since the weather became warmer, we've taken the bikes to preschool every day.

-I'm riding my own bike. -And Harry rides with me.

Oops, your bag.

Hello viewers!

I'm taking the bike to preschool today.

Crescent is made in Sweden, so the bicycles are adapted for Swedish conditions.

I've been riding a Crescent bike for years, so I know that the quality is great.

-Are you ready to move out into the streets? -Yes.

It's a bit scary in Stockholm's inner city with all the traffic so Alma rides on the sidewalk a lot.

-Yes, I do. -And you use your bell a lot.

-To warn others. -That's my thing.

-Hi! -Hello.

Look, they're rebuilding the locks - for the viewers who don't live in Stockholm.

It's a huge build that'll go on for ten more years.

My bike is called "Havis" (Ocean).

-Because it's so nice and blue? -Yes.

Hey you, don't forget that.

-Oh, that's right. -Who's that?

I got it from a viewer and I'm taking it with me.

-Are you allowed to bring toys to preschool? -Yes.

Are you sure?

-Yes. -It's not a toy, it's a stuffed animal.

Are you allowed to bring them?

-Yes. -It's allowed for nap time.

It goes on the shelf until nap time.

-Bye bye, have a nice day! -You too, bye bye!

Here's my bike. I'm going to film myself going to work.

I'm back home. I've taken a shower and I'm ready to work

We're all so tired in the mornings, so I always shower after dropping them off. I mostly work from home now.

A lot of people think you have more time to do other things then but I feel like I've got absolutely-

-no extra time to do other things. Everything's really hectic right now, just like for most families with children.

It's the end of the term for a lot of activities, and for preschool.

I have a lot of work right now, Axel has a lot of work. Hussein is in high school and has gotten a job at a hotel.

So he works almost every night and on weekends. It's just crazy for all of us.

One thing we feel has gotten less prioritized is you guys, our viewers.

We always read all comments and we've always answered them-

-but we haven't had the time. We've been travelling as well.

Gävle, Furuvik, and so on.

I want to ensure you that we still read all comments and appreciate them a lot.

Now it's time to work.

I'm meeting Axel at 4:30 PM at preschool to ride our bikes home with Alma and Harry.

We try to do these fun little things in our stressful weekdays.

The family is reunited!

-What are you chewing on? -Mint chewing gum.

-Have you had a nice day, Harry? -Yes.

-What did you do? -Played.

-Played? -Yes.

It's so strange to see him chew gum!

-I have to spit. -Yeah, do that.

-Would you like to taste? -If I want to taste? No thank you!

What an adventure - the whole family on a bike ride at rush hour. It's not that easy.

We chose another way home that's a bit calmer in the afternoons-

so we don't have to go past the construction site at the locks. The hard part here is that it's uphill.

Me and Axel can cheat and turn on the power.

What?

-Unfair, right? -Yes!

Of course we'll walk with you, Alma.

It's not nice of us to just swish by.

So many people own electric bikes right now.

-Definitely. -I understand why.

The traffic in Stockholm is awful. It's a really fast way to get around.

And there is this electric bike premium that gives you 25% discount. That's great.

-You also get your exercise. -Yeah.

All good things, versus sitting in a car.

And you arrive at work without being all sweaty.

-Are you hungry, Alma? -Definitely. I started.

-What is it? -It's rice with chicken.

There is no water inside.

Here. Oh, that's a lot.

-I want a lot too. -Smell this, Alma.

-Yuck. -No, not yuck.

-I spit on it. -No, it's good.

This is a bowl. I haven't made it myself.

It's time to continue with my giant drawing.

-Black, black! -What do you mean, "svart" (black)?

-Yes, "black". -There.

How do you know that "svart" means black?

-Because I've been alive for six years. -You've been alive for six years.

But I didn't learn to write when I was a baby.

No, I know.

The other day you were at a meeting in the school you're starting this fall.

I left Alma at school and you got to meet your teacher and classmates.

-How was it? -Super fun, super fun, super fun.

Super fun, super fun!

I think it's a big thing.

Axel, come here! We can clean the kitchen later.

I'm coming.

I thought we could answer the Question of the Day.

Elvira97 wonders; Are you as perky as you seem in your videos?

We are even more perky!

-"Perky" is a funny word. -We're not that perky.

You can say that we're kind of active. We like being outdoors.

The bikes help us in that way - in our active lifestyle.

-It's a way to be active in our everyday life. -That's true.

-I like to go swimming. -We all like to go swimming outside.

Yes. And you're really dirty, so it's time for the bathtub.

Help!

The kids fell right asleep and we forgot to end the video with them.

After the bath they fell asleep in like one minute.

-Thank you for watching this video. -Thank you.

-Leave a thumbs up or down. -Comment and ask questions.

Have a great time until we see you again. Bye bye!

Why I Chose Public Health - Duration: 2:46.

Kelsey Montondo: I never actually heard of public health prior to coming here, so it's kind of

refreshing to hear about it.

Cullan Putney: I was originally a biology major and I

realized that something was missing. And it turned out to be the human element.

Ryan Patel: When studying public health you're required to assess a person's whole well-being,

and that includes various environmental and personal aspects. That's something

that various professors touch on because they understand that a lot of their

students are pursuing careers within the medical field.

Lauren Borrill: So, originally I really

wanted to use public health as a foundation to go to medical school, but

then I totally fell in love with what we were doing in public health and it made

me more so want to look into public health law, because my dad's a lawyer.

Berkley Morgan: : I would love to be an epidemiologist specializing in infectious diseases in

developing nations because of their lack of access to health care.

Putney: I'm now looking at graduate schools and hopefully becoming an epidemiologist or biostatistician,

and working with the government.

Anna Nguyen: I hope to work in government and help shape health policies.

Audrey White: When I was a child, my family

did not have health insurance. So, by going into this public health program,

I want to help people understand where to go so they can get the right care when needed.

In the classroom for public health, you're learning a lot of theory.

And it's important for you to go out into the community and actually be a part of it.

Nyugen: For my capstone for policy studies, I interned at ACR Health and I got

to see what a non-profit health agency was like.

Montondo: I also worked for a ACR Health in the syringe exchange program to combat the opioid crisis.

White: My internship is at the American Red Cross. I do presentations on how to prepare and

respond for emergencies. I start at the third grade level and then I go all

the way up to older adults.

Montondo: Being able to do hands-on work was definitely a cool aspect to do as a sophomore in college.

Putney: Syracuse University Ambulance is a student-run organization, completely volunteer,

and is overseen by a full-time paramedic.

Montondo: I'm the one overseeing the entire organization

of almost 80 members. We respond to basic life support calls on campus

and the surrounding communities.

Borrill: All of the things that we do within

public health and the relationships that they help us create and sustain

translates to everything else that we do.

Putney: The public health program prepares you better than any other program to

enter the workforce immediately.

Nyugen: SU has really made me confident in pursuing any opportunities that come my way after graduation.

Patel: Syracuse has done a very good job in supporting me

throughout the way and allowing me to feel confident going into these next steps.

Thanks.

Koh Kood Island - SEA SNAIL SASHIMI + Best Beaches and Attractions | Food Travel Guide! - Duration: 20:59.

- Good morning.

I hope you're having an amazing day.

It's Mark Wiens.

I'm in Koh Kood, which is one of the most

well-preserved, gorgeous, and pristine

islands in Thailand.

You'll find amazing jungle here and beaches,

delicious seafood.

And today is gonna be an unforgettable day.

We're gonna go around the island.

We're gonna stop at some of the most

beautiful places on the island.

And this is gonna be a tour of Koh Kood and I am gonna

share it all with you in this video, right now.

(upbeat tropical music)

This is day eight and this is the final day of our

Eastern provinces of Thailand food and travel tour.

It's been an amazing trip and I'll have

the links and the entire playlist below,

so you can watch all the videos.

In order to get to Koh Kood,

yesterday actually we came from Koh Chang.

But we drove our car to Koh Chang, so we had to

take the ferry back to the mainland.

Then we drove to a place called Lan Sak, which is the pier

at the end of the peninsula to catch a ferry.

We took a ferry.

It's called Boonsiri, which is a speed ferry service.

But a pretty big boat, so it's not rough water.

And that's about an hour and fifteen minutes

to get to Koh Kood island.

And then, from there you jump into the back of a

rute songthaew, which is a truck transportation

and they drop you off at your hotel that you're staying at.

Right now, we're gonna quickly have breakfast at the hotel

and then a driver will come to meet us

and we're gonna start cruisin' around the island.

This is gonna be an unforgettable day.

This is a gorgeous island.

(upbeat tropical music)

Mmmm.

They have seriously good pineapple in Trat.

(upbeat tropical music)

Part of the reason why Koh Kood is

so nice, and so calm, and so peaceful

is because you can't, whoa.

(laughing)

You can't drive your own car to the island.

They don't have a ferry to bring your car in.

And they have rute songthaews,

which are back of the truck pickups

that you can rent for the day.

So, we rented one for the day.

We're gonna go around.

Looking a little rainy, but you know this is an island

so things can change drastically very quickly.

(upbeat tropical music)

(speaking Thai and pots clanging)

(laughing and speaking Thai)

I've read some figures that say Koh Kood has a local

population of somewhere between 1,000 and 2,000 people.

And so, there's not a huge

need for demand for local restaurants.

So, we asked our driver to just bring us to a place

that he eats for breakfast, a local place.

This is about as local as you could get in Koh Kood.

They have a number of different curries.

It's mostly kao king, but they also have betheow,

they also have noodles here.

They have a couple of interesting dishes,

including a mushroom curry that we're gonna try.

But, this is a cool little spot.

I'll begin with the (speaking in Thai),

which is a free-range chicken.

There's some blood jelly in here as well.

The chicken, some pea eggplants,

some I think that could be, oh yeah these are definitely

one of the most common ingredients in Trat,

especially with curries, is mngkud sabpard.

Which is the pineapple crown.

I think that's what they're using in there, too.

Mmmm, mmmm.

That is awesome.

You know what's unique about that?

I can taste more of a dry spice blend in there.

It tastes like cumin, which is coming in really nicely.

Along with those herbs, along with the kaffir lime leaves,

along with the Mngkud sabpard, which is the pineapple crown.

It's a little bit spicy.

It's really, really nicely flavored.

(upbeat tropical music)

That's an excellent curry.

By far, the most interesting dish to me

that they had up front there is called (speaking Thai).

This is a type of mushroom curry that

I haven't heard of before.

I think it's some type of a wild

mushroom from the forest here.

And look how thick that coconut milk is.

That's like melted butter.

(upbeat tropical music)

Whoa.

Mmmm.

Oh, oh that's an insane mushroom.

Okay, first let me start with the coconut cream.

That's outrageously thick, and creamy, and rich.

It has a natural coconut sweetness to it

with a little chili in there

and then you get to that mushroom.

That mushroom has this like, unbelievably slimy yet soft,

very soft dissolve in your mouth texture.

And that follows with a bitterness,

a really nice bitterness that sort of

overwhelms your mouth.

I love bitterness.

That is sensational, mmmm.

You know what the texture of those mushrooms is like?

It's almost like the texture of an oyster.

Did you taste it?

- Yeah.

You like it?

- It's good, but cold.

- Cold. bitter, huh?

I was just asking them where those mushrooms come from

and conveniently located right there,

they said they come from they grow somehow on this tree.

(speaking Thai)

After the leaves drop to the ground naturally,

especially with rain, right?

During like rain, they'll drop to the ground and then

the mushrooms will grow out of the ground from that leaf.

Something like that.

Very cool mushroom.

Very amazing, bitter taste to go with that coconut cream.

I love it.

They don't exactly have a restaurant name.

I think they just use the owner's name,

but it's called Saleun.

This is the front here.

You'll see some green tarps hanging out front.

What a great little restaurant and

yeah, we got lucky with that mushroom curry.

That is the type of dish that I gets me pumped,

that gets me excited.

That was so good.

A new flavor; a new mushroom to me.

Just right off the tree, right there.

Oh man, that was delicious.

Okay, we're movin' on.

And by the way, huge thank you

to our driver for bringing us here.

(upbeat tropical music)

This is the type of jungle that you can imagine

yourself swinging from tree to tree on a vine.

Well, I like to imagine that.

That would be a lot of fun.

We're on our way to some really old, big trees.

(upbeat tropical music)

The first tree is called Makayuk.

It's huge; it means a huge Makka tree.

Okay, yeah this is definitely a gigantic tree

that just looks like it reaches to the sky.

And the base of the tree is also quite gigantic, wow.

And then, it kinda like V's off midway up the tree.

(upbeat tropical music)

Then, just a short distance away is another tree

called bonsai, which is a Banyan tree.

(upbeat tropical music)

It's so eerie and so,

so mystical.

Both of the trees, extremely gorgeous.

And what a pristine jungle.

(upbeat music)

Next up we're on our way to Klong Chao waterfall,

which is one of the most well-known waterfalls.

(rushing water)

It does require a little bit of rock-hopping

to get to the main waterfall.

(upbeat music)

Oh yeah, that water is perfectly refreshing.

It's so quiet, it's so peaceful,

it's beautiful, it's lush.

Ah, this is fantastic.

(rushing water)

It's raining now, but that was

that waterfall is definitely worth a visit,

definitely worth a swim.

I'm refreshed.

That was a lot of fun.

(laughing)

That was great.

Okay, we're on our way.

Oh man, the camera is like soaking right now.

(upbeat tropical music)

We're driving next to a place called Khao Reua Rub.

I'm not exactly sure what it is, we'll find out.

(upbeat tropical music)

So at the top it's actually a shrine and it's a

like a naval shrine, I believe.

(upbeat tropical music)

(sighs)

Next, we're driving to another beach.

It's called Bang Bao.

(upbeat music)

(upbeat music)

Oh man, this is one of the beaches

I wanted to visit in Koh Kood.

This is, it's a paradise beach, wow.

There's some docks going out to fishing boats.

The water is crystal clear, the palm trees.

This is an impressively beautiful beach.

I'm just gonna take a walk out to the end of this dock

to see the boats,

to see the clear water out there

and then we have to take a swim here.

There's no way you can not.

(upbeat music)

(upbeat music)

(water splashing)

And from here, we're gonna go to the fishing village.

We're gonna hopefully find some amazing seafood.

And that's also gonna, eh it looks incredible.

That's one of the things I wanted to do most here.

But, this is the type of beach.

I mean, you could just sit in this water

all day long and not go anywhere.

Oh this is just, this is fabulous; this is so good.

(laughing)

He doesn't wanna go; he just wants to stay here all day.

(water splashing)

Part of what makes that beach so spectacular

is that it's so quiet, so peaceful.

(upbeat tropical music)

We just got dropped off at Ao Yai,

which is a traditional fishing village.

It's on the West Coast of Koh Kood

and also on the South side.

We're gonna walk around for a little bit

and then we're gonna eat some seafood.

(upbeat tropical music)

It's actually quite a decently large village.

All on stilts, a fishing village.

You just keep walking back and

there are houses, there are little restaurants.

But, most of this community is all fishing.

Wow, look at that school of fish.

(engine running)

(speaking in Thai)

(speaking in Thai)

They have a number of different seafood restaurants.

We've chosen one that's called Chonthicha.

You can choose your own seafood.

They have some tanks going with different shellfish

and a variety of things.

And they have these giant nets just filled with fish.

I ordered a couple of unique things

that I've never tried before.

(water splashing)

(upbeat tropical music)

(fish flapping)

We also ordered some kind of,

it's some type of a Slipper lobster.

It's just straight sea-to-table dining.

They have herbs growing here.

The ocean breeze is in your face and I'm hungry.

A couple of the dishes have just arrived and still waiting

on a couple of the dishes, but let's start.

This one is (speaking in Thai).

It's squid fried with a garlic sauce.

Look at that rich sauce.

And look at how they've cut up the squid

into like, it looks like a pineapple.

My bench is a little bit high for this table,

so I'm sittin' way up here.

I gotta lean over.

Mmmm.

Oh, that's awesome.

Mmmm, you got the garlic sauce and black pepper in there.

It's a little bit sweet; nice and salty.

And then like the texture of the squid is like,

it's like... bouncy

and almost like jelly-ish and really tender.

Next dish is called (speaking in Thai).

This is a type of curry, you can see.

What you have to admire is just how thick

and curdled that coconut milk is.

Paired with, what I believe is the (speaking in Thai),

which is the shrimp automoly head oil.

(upbeat tropical music)

Mmmm, but you've got really rich coconut milk in there.

You can taste that oil of the shrimp.

It looks really orange and red, but it doesn't

actually it's not spicy.

In Thai, it's called (speaking in Thai).

Is rambutan, the fruit.

The hairy, spiky rambutan little fruit.

And so you can see, the shell

does sort of look like that, too.

And I just looked it up in English.

It's some type of a rock shell mollusk.

Oh, another name for it is a Murex,

which is a genus of medium to large sized

predatory tropical sea snails.

It's served as sashimi; it's served raw.

But, they might just quickly flash-blanch it.

They have sliced it quite thin.

Before using any of the sauce,

we gotta take a bite of just the straight.

Mmmm.

Oh, that has an amazing like crispness to it.

Whoa, and also quite a nice natural sweetness as well.

Actually guys, you keep on chewing it almost has

a nutty taste to it, too plus it's sweet.

Okay, we got to dip in the (speaking Thai) next.

Oh, with that sauce.

Oh, what an enhancement.

That sauce.

Again, I think (speaking Thai) they used salt

maybe instead of fish sauce, but you can taste

the pungent chillies and garlic in there.

It's just balanced by a hint of sweetness and spicy.

It's delicious.

Dip into the soy sauce.

Mmmm, oh that's a dish.

I must've got a different piece of the shell

from a different side or something

'cause that's more tender without that crunch.

Totally different texture.

Next up, for the type of Slipper lobster.

`Which, in Thai are called (speaking in Thai).

And these are deep fried with garlic sauce as well.

They kind of have a little bit of an alien appearance

with like an armored shell around them.

And I think, what you can do.

oh, they sorta like cut them in half.

Oh, so you open it.

But, that's like an extremely hard shell.

And I think you take off the head.

You've got this tail, which is like a mini lobster tail.

Wow, that's quite an intense shell.

Oh there we go, yes.

Okay, I got it all out in one bite.

(upbeat tropical music)

Insanely delicious, mmmm.

It tastes like lobster.

Has a little more of an earthy tone to it, though.

Last dish we got is called Hoy Pawk.

Which is, they look like giant clams.

But, I didn't know they were gonna de-shell them

or that they shelled them first.

These are, that's a whole an entire spoonful.

And then, I ended up with some

kind of a curry paste and basil.

(upbeat tropical music)

Whoa.

That's kinda on the chewy side.

It does, it tastes like a clam.

Like a giant clam.

And then, that's in a kind of a nutty chili sauce.

As we're eating it started raining, drizzling.

But, still the atmosphere is spectacular.

(upbeat tropical music)

This one is just a little guy, but I know it would be

incredible with that seafood sauce on it.

Oh yeah, what a natural scoop.

(upbeat tropical music)

Those Slipper lobsters are incredible.

It's really, really flavorful, really sweet.

I love the texture and with that sauce.

(upbeat tropical music)

That is incredibly delicious.

And really, there are like at least three different sections

that have totally different textures and sweetnesses.

That piece that I just had, that might be from like

the center or something 'cause

it's the sweetest and the softest.

It's really tender.

Finished with that seafood meal, and I have to tell you

one of my, like indicators of

kinda iffy food, is when they put

an orchid next to your plate of food.

I mean, that's of course just a general statement

but, it's kinda true that they kinda tone down

the flavors when they do that type of thing.

But, they did that at this restaurant and actually

it was quite good; the food was excellent.

The seafood is no doubt, extraordinarily fresh.

And I'm excited because they had a few different things.

Unique things that I've never had,

like that, that predatory

rock shell

Morex.

(upbeat tropical music)

(upbeat tropical music)

We made it back to Kung Pao,

back to the beach where we started off this morning.

What a fantastic day.

Oh, let me sit up a little bit.

It turned out to be a perfect day.

We got a little bit of rain, but that's okay.

We got a little bit of sunshine.

We had some cloudy weather.

But...

Koh Kood is truly a paradise island.

I mean the combination of beaches, waterfalls,

thick lush jungle,

seafood,

crystal clear beaches.

I probably already said that once.

But, it's really a gorgeous island.

It's also nice because it's quiet, it's laid-back.

And to be honest, there's not a lot of food options.

Most people actually just come to this island,

they stay at their resort or their hotel,

they eat the food at their hotel and

maybe go out to do a little site-seeing.

But, this is the type of island that you can come

to sit and do nothing.

And that not only brings us to the end

of this video about Koh Kood island,

but this also brings us to the end of this entire series.

And if you haven't watched the entire series of this

Eastern region of Thailand food and travel tour,

there are a total of eight videos.

I'll leave all the links in the description box below,

but you can check out and watch the entire playlist.

It's been the entire Eastern region of Thailand

is a region that

for me, I think the food is not

is very under-represented.

Even in Bangkok, you won't find

that much Eastern type Thai food.

And so, it's been a learning experience.

Some incredibly delicious food.

The seafood stands out.

Some of the best seafood I've had in Thailand.

The people are great.

We've been to villages.

We started off in Chanthaburi,

we came to Trat, we went to Koh Chang,

and then finally ending in Koh Kood.

And it's been an extremely memorable trip.

I just wanna say a huge thank you for watching this video,

for watching this entire series of videos.

And I wanna personally invite you.

Policie chce nakoupit osm limuzín, dvě vozidla SUV a jeden speciální pancéřovaný vůz

Ochránit by měl i před střepinami granátu.

K dispozici má prezident limuzínu Superb a SUV model Kodiaq, řekl ČTK Ovčáček

Most UNBELIEVABLE Surgeries PREHISTORIC Doctors Could Perform! - Duration: 11:06.

From amputation with anesthesia to brain surgery, here are 8 unbelievable things prehistoric

doctors could do!!

8.

Ants To Stitch Up Wounds When you think of insects, most people don't

even like them and just think of their stings and bites and bad experiences!!

Like that time that you stepped on a scorpion, or the time your dad put a bee into the palm

of your hand so you could look at it more closely and it stung you….oh wait, that

was me!

You might not exactly think of insects as medicinal!!

But, insects can sometimes have surprising versatility in the right persons hands.

For example, using ants to stitch up a person's wounds.

You probably didn't' even think of that!

You might be wondering how this is possible.

Ants don't produce a thread that could be used to stitch up anything, let alone human

flesh.

And it's unlikely that you can just burn them in place to heal something up (though I'm

sure people have tried...).

No, the true "cure" here is through their mandibles.

In India, certain places in Africa, and other places around the world, ancient doctors (or

their equivalent) would make an incision, perform whatever surgery they were intending

to do, then when they were done, they would close up the wound as best they could on their

own.

The final step was to bring in ants.

They would force the ant to bite the wound.

As it closed its bite, it would close the gap of the incision on both sides of the wound

and seal it shut.

At that moment, the doctor would rip off the body of the ant, leaving the head intact.

Do this enough times, and the wound is perfectly sealed.

I'm not sure if this would be a good idea to try to do at home!

The technique is said to have been around since the Neolithic era, and in India, the

people there were using this technique before they even had a written language.

If you do find yourself in a bind, it's still a valid technique.

In fact, in the Discovery show Dual Survival, survivalist Cody Lundeen used the same tactic

to help heal his partners wound after he got hurt.

It's primitive for sure, but you can't deny the results.

7.

Ancient Tooth Drill Many things on this list are probably going

to make you think "that can't be right."

Apparently, they had dentistry back in Pakistan...9000 years ago.

And I'm talking solid dentistry, complete with a drill to get into the tooth and solve

whatever was aching you.

How did this happen?

Well, you know what they say, "It takes a village".

Or, in this case, it takes a tribe.

An entire tribe's worth of people were discovered in what is now Pakistan, and every member

of this tribe had clear signs of dentistry in their mouth.

Now, before you start wondering if they just had dentistry "in their bones", it's not so

clear cut.

However, expertise is a factor here.

You see, this tribe was very good at bead crafting.

They were so good, that they decided to test out their craftsmanship on teeth.

This led to their first experiments with dentistry.

And ironically, not only did they succeed, they were really good at it, so, they continued

their works, getting more and more advanced with every single technique they made.

For example, their drills were actually made out of flint, which could not only work, but

it did so very well.

And this tribe continued their craft for 1,500 years before it died out.

And now for number 6 but first if you are a returning subscriber welcome back!

Glad to see you again!!

If you are new here be sure to subscribe, we'd love to have you!!

6.

Acupuncture Acupuncture brings to mind a person being

poked and prodded with needles to alleviate their pain.

Have any of you ever tried acupuncture?

Did it work?

Let us know in the comments!!

Most people associate acupuncture with the Chinese, but while they did use it a long

time ago, they weren't the first to use that technique.

The earliest recorded use was apparently 2000 years before them.

This was revealed via a 5300-year-old mummy who might sound familiar to you!

I'll give you a hint.

He was found in Europe in the mountains between Italy and Austria, proving that it was Europeans,

and not Asians, who used the practice first (as far as paleontology can tell us).

The "patient" they found was Otzi the Iceman, and he had a good reason to get acupuncture

done.

The frozen man had a bunch of whipworms in his stomach which are known to cause extreme

pain when not dealt with.

So...he went to get acupuncture.

To be clear, acupuncture is not a cure for whipworms, but he probably didn't know or

understand what was going on inside of him, so having any kind of cure for the pain would've

been a godsend.

Looking at the back of Otzi, you can see plenty of acupuncture marks that proved how thorough

the acupuncturist was.

And more than likely, it would've helped him with the pain, at least in the short-term.

The fact that this acupuncturist, wherever they were from, was so well informed about

the human body and the ability to treat pain through acupuncture is astounding.

Especially when you consider that this technique "died out" with the tribe, and Europe didn't

relearn this healing technique for 5000 years, well after the Chinese popularized the technique

and shared it with the world.

5.

Clay Casts It's not hard to imagine just how dangerous

the world was back in the prehistoric days, and because of that, injuries must have been

frequent.

To that end, if they needed something fixed, they had to hope that someone had the knowledge

to do what needed to be done.

Even something as simple as a broken bone could be racked with complications if not

cared for properly.

Fortunately for some Stone Age humans, their tribal doctor did have a solution for broken

bones.

Those who know about modern medicine, or if you've ever broken a bone, you know that

the proper treatment of broken bones is to set the bones back into place and let them

heal.

And they did that in the Stone Age via clay.

The medicine man would wrap the arm in clay in the form of a cast of sorts, then, they

would let the clay dry in the sun, ensuring that the cast was formed properly and that

the patient couldn't get it off, making the injury worse.

And apparently, it worked, and quite well actually.

Some archaeologists studied the bodies of Stone Age patients who had this done to them

and they remarked that it rivaled what could be done with modern surgeons today.

Makes you think, doesn't it?

4.

Childbirth The miracle of childbirth is something that

transcends time.

Not all cultures viewed children the same way, but childbirth isn't easy, just ask anyone

who has had a child, and it can be ripe with complications, so imagine trying to have a

child a few thousand years ago.

Even just 100 years ago.

Yeah, not pretty.

Many historians believe that because of how dangerous childbirth was back then, about

1/3 of all women who gave birth died.

That's a horrifying statistic.

However, for one prehistoric tribe, they knew enough to give their women the best odds possible

of survival.

This is believed because certain cave drawings were found by archaeologists that showed the

basics of childbirth and what the expectant mother needed to do in order to have a (mostly)

safe birthing.

For example, the mother was told to be in an upright position, which is the modern practice

nowadays.

And the drawings even showed they the mother should lean forward during the second stage.

It's really incredible when you think about it.

But, that does raise a question, why were these drawn in caves?

The logical answer is that the caves served as maternity wards.

They could be protected from the elements and animals, and it would be safe for others

in case something went wrong.

3.

Dirt As Medicine Ok, it's not exactly that, but it's also not

exactly not that.

I'll explain.

A group of Europeans once met a tribe that was still living in the Stone Age.

As they interacted, the Europeans noticed that the tribesmen were eating dirt and clay,

and they were pretty confused by this.

Surely they thought, "How primitive!

These are but savages!"

But, history reveals something very different.

Mainly, they revealed that this tribe, among others, were eating the ground to help treat

their stomachs.

Now, it wasn't as simple as picking up dirt and eating it.

That would cause more problems than it would solve.

Rather, the tribes would "treat" the dirt to make it into what they needed.

Or for clay, they would boil it, and then eat it.

And when they did, it would help with stomach pains.

It may sound crude, but clearly it worked, as they continued to do this for many generations.

It's even said that these techniques were used by pregnant women to help with their

nausea and other issues that came from being with child.

And for most archaeologists, they believe that this was the beginning of medicine.

Who are we to argue with that?

2.

Anesthesia and Amputation Despite the advances we've made in the realm

of limb recovery and transplanting, sometimes amputation is the only option.

And I think we've all seen movies and TV shows that show what amputation is like without

anesthesia.

It's pretty horrifying with people screaming, and it looks extremely painful.

Which, is why it's so incredible that there was an amputation done 7000 years ago that

apparently used anesthetic.

I kid you not.

The body of the patient was found in what is now Paris, France, and the limb the person

lost was their arm.

But that's where things get very interesting.

When surgery is done crudely, or with an inexperienced doctor, there's almost certainly marks that

prove just how "bad" the physician was.

However, when archaeologists examined the bones of the patient, there were no rough

sawing marks.

Making it clear that whoever did the surgery was quite gifted.

And remember, this was 7000 years ago.

Now, as for what the anesthetic was, many believe it was a type of hallucinogen.

Which, makes sense given the times.

And the drug would've warped his senses so that he might've been spewing nonsense, but

not yelling in agony.

Or at least, more than likely.

For the final kicker, once the surgery was completed, the wound was treated with an antiseptic

to ensure that the wound didn't get infected.

More than likely Sage or a similar type of plant.

It's incredible to think about, especially when the archaeologists not only determined

that the man lived after his surgery, but they found more bones of similar patients,

all of which lived after their operations.

1.

Brain Surgery Now there's evidence that these prehistoric

doctors knew how to successfully do brain surgery.

Best of all, this brain surgery was done over 10,000 years ago according to bones found

by archaeologists.

The procedure itself was called Trepanation, or trepanning and was used for those with

severe head traumas.

The process went like this: First, the doctor would use a flint tool to bore into the patients

skull.

After that, the doctor would remove any bits of skull that was in the brain.

Finally, the blood that was pooling in the brain would be let out.

Primitive?

Unbelievable?

Possibly, but it worked.

Multiple bones found of these patients showed that a vast majority of them actually lived.

Some didn't make it but that happens even in modern surgery.

Like I said it was usually used for severe head injuries but of course, being prehistoric

times, they would sometimes do this procedure for events that clearly wouldn't have been

solved by this, but hey, you have try something right?

And pray to the gods.

Thanks for watching!

Can you believe these techniques were so ancient!!

25 EYE OPENING Things Your Blood Type Says About You - Duration: 6:07.

Did you know your blood type can say a lot about you? From your health, your donor compatibility,

and even your personality, blood type speaks volumes. Of course, knowing your blood type

helps when donating blood, but you might want to know some of its many other aspects. Some

believe knowing your blood type information could help you tailor your diet to live healthier.

You can also know the pitfalls of your blood type to counteract them. Some even try to

find out their blood type personality compatibility. Curious to find out more about your blood

type? I'm Mike with List25 and Here are 25 Eye-Opening Things Your Blood Type Says About

You.

25.

If you have the A blood type, you're more

likely to have higher levels of the cortisol hormone than other types. Cortisol is a hormone

your body releases to help you with stress.

24.

Mosquitoes love people with type O blood.

If you have this blood type, you're twice as likely to attract them.

23.

In contrast, mosquitoes are the least attracted

to people with type A blood.

22.

On the flip side, O blood types are less likely

to contract the deadliest forms of malaria because their proteins don't stick to to them

the way they do to others.

21.

A University of Vermont study involving 30,000

people revealed that AB blood types were 82 percent likely to develop memory problems

that lead to dementia.

20.

Those with A blood types may have a higher

risk of alcoholism than other types, according to a few studies. Studies have linked antigens

to the disease, suggesting A type antigens have a part to play.

19.

Gustaf Edgren, M.D., Ph.D. of Karolinska Institute

in Sweden stated that people with type A blood have a high risk of developing gastric cancers.

He suggests staying away from smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, and being overweight.

18.

Your blood type determines your risk for heart

disease. On average, non-O blood groups have 60 to 80 percent higher chance of getting

blood clots. They're also at greater risk of getting coronary heart disease.

17.

A study published in BMC Microbiology revealed

that your blood type plays a direct part in the proportion and profiles of intestinal

bacteria.

16.

B blood types have 50,000 times the strains

of friendly bacteria than A or O have.

15.

There's a popular study called Ketsueki-Gata

that connects blood types with personality. For instance, B blood types are said to be

passionate, creative, strong, but also selfish, unforgiving, and irresponsible. Of course,

there's no scientific basis for any of this.

14.

Dr. Peter J. D’Adamo has championed

a diet based on blood type. For instance, those with Type O blood should eat lean meats

and seafood and avoid dairy and gluten.

13.

If you have O Negative type blood, you are

a universal donor, meaning your blood can be given to any blood type.

12.

If you have the AB+ blood type, then you're

a universal plasma donor which can be used in all blood types. Plasma is often used to

treat burn and shock victims.

11.

People with Type B blood should focus on eating

leafy greens and vegetables and fruits, like grapes, plumes, and pineapples.

10.

People with Type O blood are said to be confident

and strong-willed, but also self-centered and unpredictable.

9.

Type O blood puts you at greater risk of developing

an ulcer all thanks to the bacteria H. pylori. Type O blood types have a different immunological

response than other types which triggers it.

8.

The good news about Type O is that it's 37%

less likely to develop pancreatic cancer. The bacteria H. pylori again considered to

be the culprit for non-O blood types.

7.

People with Type A blood should focus on eating

fruits like berries, apples, and avocados. Vegetables like broccoli and carrots are also

good. As an added plus, you can break down grains easier which means pastas and breads

should be a part of your diet.

6.

A person's blood type can affect their pregnancy.

If the mother is RH- and the fetus is RH+, then the incompatibility could be dangerous

because the mother's immune system will make antibodies against the RH+. RH type is tested

for during the routine pregnancy blood work. If a woman is RH-, she's typically given an

RH immunoglobulin shot during her pregnancy.

5.

If you have Type AB blood, you're said to

be cool, controlled, and rational, but also critical, indecisive, and irresponsible.

4.

If you have the AB Negative blood type, you

have the most rare type of blood with only 1% of people having it.

3.

On the flip side, if you have O Positive blood,

you're within the most common type of blood with A Positive a close second place.

2.

With that said, O Positive blood types are

the most in demand for blood donations.

1.

People with Type A blood are more susceptible

to smallpox infections and severe malaria. Thankfully, smallpox was eradicated in 1980.

MEU NOME É DANIEL - TRAILER - Duration: 2:56.

Come here, son.

Walk over to daddy. Go on.

On my first day at the new school,

this kid came up to my mom

and asked her why I walked like that

and wouldn't go play in the jungle gym.

And she told him:

"Heck, why don't you ask him?"

How 'bout you, Daniel?

-Where are you? -Say something, Dani.

-Say something we can record. -Something.

Something important. Say it loud.

Loud.

I was born like a regular child,

but gradually, my parents noticed

that there was something different about me.

When you have a child on the way,

it never occurs to you during pregnancy

that your child might have a problem.

It stuns us, and it's a scare, a shock,

but you don't just sit there bemoaning your fate.

I underwent numerous exams to find out what I had,

but all the results came back normal.

The reason we scheduled the exam?

It felt as if my condition was unique to me.

We're filming Dani when he's fresh out of bed.

Hey.

He's sticking that tongue out on purpose!

It's not that he's like that.

He's just goofing off.

After all, what is my condition?

What is this that makes me who I am?

One thing is for sure.

I am different.

That difference is what makes me unique.

I don't need to be fixed.

I don't need to be just like you.
