These 6 wedding dresses made history (and why Meghan Markle's didn't) ǀ Justine Leconte - Duration: 8:21.

Hi everyone, its Justine.

Wedding fashion is a sport in itself.

There are designers who do only wedding gowns.

There are royal weddings.

There are scandal weddings (hashtag "What did the bride wear"?).

In this video, I want to show you six wedding dresses that I think made fashion history.

And I'm not only talking about recent ones, I'm also going way further back in time,

through the last 200 years.

A wedding dress is a terribly fashionable garment, which means that it's really reflecting

the taste of the time and the decade it was made in.

And that makes it extremely difficult to find truly unique, personal, innovative ones, in

the end.

So these six wedding dresses, in my opinion, made history, and I will also explain why

Meghan Markle's dress is quite déjà-vu compared to them.

Number 1…

Angelina Jolie got married to Brad Pitt in 2014.

That was a very famous wedding that made headlines.

The dress was designed by Atelier Versace and it was absolutely perfect for her.

It was made of white silk satin and gathered around the bust.

From the front, it looked angelic, pure, very elegant in it's simplicity.

Then from the back, you could see embroidery made from drawings of her children.

The back of the train and the entire veil were decorated with colorful embroidery, contrasting

with the simplicity of the front.

I think the idea of integrating children's drawings as high-fashion embroidery is genius.

It makes it such a personal gown, with so much meaning to it.

Number 2…

Solange Knowles also got married in 2014.

For me, that was a great wedding year.

On her big day she wore six different outfits, all of them white / cream-colored.

And all the guest were also wearing that color, which made for incredibly VOGUE-worthy photos.

My favorite outfit of the day is number 3: this one, designed by the house Kenzo.

This dress expresses her style 100%.

She is not showing any skin.

It's a masterpiece of silhouette design.

The lines are crisp, clean.

The proportions are incredibly modern.

Yet it's not about the dress, it's about her.

She is wearing the dress, not the other way around.

The cape and the jewelry she went for make her look like a powerful, divine goddess.

The choreography of the whole day and the group pictures were just the cherry on the

cake.

Number 3…

Kate Moss married Jamie Hince in 2011.

That was another very famous and PR covered wedding.

She is known for her sense of style and appreciation of designer fashion, and her dress was designed

by John Galliano.

It is a dress with a concept.

They were not following current trends.

They were after a specific 1930's aesthetic, working with chiffon to create a wonderful,

romantic vibe.

It's feminine, it's organic…

You truly understand the vision when you see the group photos of the wedding, taken by

Vogue.

It's in the countryside, flowers in her hair.

The full color palette must have been created to match the dress.

It's beautiful.

As the paparazzi didn't fail to mention, there was quite a bit of transparency in the

dress – but that's because she didn't go as a bride, she went as a nymph.

Number 4…

I'm jumping back in time now.

Bianca Jagger went from star to superstar the day she married Mick Jagger, in 1971.

As a couple, they broke the rules of the establishment, and their wedding day was no exception.

Instead of wearing a dress, she wore a suit.

A white skirt suit designed by a tailor of Savile Row.

Savile Row is THE tailor street in London, and that tailor also tailored for John Lennon

and for the Rolling Stones.

So in fact, Bianca went for a menswear designer.

What about that sulphurous cleavage, you might ask?

There was a shirt planned under the jacket… but she was 4 months pregnant and the shirt

clearly did not fit anymore.

Also, her veil was attached to her hat, practical and so chic.

Overall, the outfit was incredibly modern, original, a bit scandalous… definitely one

of the famous ones of that decade though.

Number 5…

Now I'm jumping back in time again… for me, the most iconic dress of the 50's was

Audrey Hepburn's, from 1954.

It was created by Pierre Balmain himself, and I see it as the epitome of the silhouette

of that decade: full skirt, big volume around the hips, lots of tulle, typical of the New

Look of that time.

Ballerina length, great to show her long legs and her pretty ankles.

Then the sleeves were puffed, which in contrast makes her wrists seems tiny and feminine.

The collar is high, no cleavage.

Remember that the 50's were the decade of Marilyn Monroe, and of extreme hourglass figures.

Audrey Hepburn's style was very different.

She was boyish in her silhouette.

She had barely any curves, and yet she was so incredibly elegant, and played the smart

and intellectual card.

So that high collar instead of the regular, deeper cleavage of the time, is for me, the

smartest part of the design.

Number 6…

And then way before all these ladies, a certain Queen Victoria got married in 1840, in England.

Her dress had the classic neckline of that time… lace, ruffled sleeves, a full length…

all these things, you've seen before.

So why is she in my list?

She is the one who started the trend for white wedding dresses!

A true innovator.

Now why is Meghan Markle not in this list?

Well, when there is a royal wedding, especially in London, there are always a ton of references

to ancestors, to tradition, to previous princesses…

There are codes, guidelines, as to how the ceremony should look like, how the bride should

look like, what is appropriate, what isn't, which princesses you're referring to in

your outfit…

It shows continuity, and that's reassuring, but it makes it quite hard to be truly innovative

in terms of clothing, and Meghan, as previous princesses of the family before her, had to

abide by all these codes.

An English princess must be covered in an appropriate manner: Queen Elizabeth had covered

shoulders, long sleeves, full length.

Long veil.

Only the cleavage necessary to display a pearl necklace.

Lady Diana had a very puffy dress, quite 80's trendy, also with long sleeves, covered shoulders.

Here the train was long, the veil a bit less.

The cleavage is classic and similar to Elizabeth's.

Kate Middleton wore an Alexander McQueen by Sarah Burton dress with covered shoulders

and a little V-shaped cleavage that looked quite innovative.

The lace completes the opaque bustier, which is a nice contrast of texture…but which

seriously reminds me of Grace Kelly, princess of Monaco…

And the shape of the V-neck is close to what Princess Margaret was wearing on her wedding day.

That's Elizabeth's sister.

On Kate's dress, the veil is shorter and the train is longer.

Then comes Meghan: her dress was long-sleeved, full length.

This time the veil was longer than the train.

Do you notice a pattern?

Once the train is longer, once the veil is longer.

What was new on her dress is the fabric (which is opaque, stiffer and smooth, instead of

textured and embellished) and the fact that she was showing a little bit of shoulder.

But again, no cleavage, so it's still very state-appropriate.

My personal favorite among those royal gowns is Kate's.

I think the proportions are perfect, and it fits her impeccably.

Congress Threatens Power Move To Knock Democrats Out Of 2018 Elections - Duration: 14:35.

Congress Threatens Power Move To Knock Democrats Out Of 2018 Elections

We are only a few months away from mid-term elections.

The balance of power in Congress is at stake.

All eyes are on the Senate.

Republicans hold a tight lead.

But in November all that can change.

Democrats have promised to undo much of the progress Trump has made over the last year.

That includes overturning his historic tax cuts.

Plus, members of Congress promise to impeach him.

Much is at stake.

The Democrats will do everything in their power to claw back into the swamp.

They will lie, cheat, and steal to make it happen.

We know this because they did all those things and more to steal the 2016 election.

But Republicans in Congress have a brilliant move.

One that will put Democrats in a tight position.

From Fox News:

But the biggest question buzzing around Capitol Hill now is whether the Senate will cancel

or shorten that recess – and meet anyway.

President Trump initiated this year's fretting over a canceled recess with a tweet:

"The Senate should get funding done before the August break, or NOT GO HOME.

Wall and Border Security should be included.

Also waiting for approval of almost 300 nominations, worst in history.

Democrats are doing everything possible to obstruct, all they know how to do.

STAY!"

A group of GOP senators then launched an effort to stay through the summer's hottest stretch…

The field is tilted toward the Republicans.

It's a freak of political nature.

But neither party has faced an electoral map this challenging since 1938.

So, it's a great strategy for Republicans to tether Democrats to Washington and rob

them of valuable campaign time at home.

Meantime, GOP challengers can barnstorm those same states.

You see, pressure has been mounting for Congress to cancel their recess and pass some major

bills this summer.

After a half of a year of obstruction, the pressure is on.

Senate Democrats can't afford to delay much longer.

Either they have to work in Congress or face the backlash.

No matter what Democrats do, they're in big trouble.

If they cancel their recess and work with Republicans, they lose valuable time on the

campaign trail.

Many Democrats are facing tough elections.

Numerous states up for grabs were won by Trump in 2016.

Those senators will have a tough time convincing Trump supporters to give them a chance.

They need all the time they can get to bamboozle voters.

But what if they don't cancel the recess?

They'll have to explain to America why their vacation was more important than getting things

done in D.C.

That's a pretty bad situation to be in, come election time.

Of course, Trump is putting the most pressure on them.

With his massive influence and following online, he can slam democrats all day for their obstruction.

Democrats will have a hard time explaining why they let the American people down.

And why their recess is more important.

Either way, they don't have a chance.

Tahir!.. Do you know why Ceylan is not hearing?

If my daughter had lived, she would have been Ceylan's age.

Sometimes, I tell myself; "it's just as well that she did not live, she became an angel, she did not suffer"...

... and sometimes, I say; "I wish she had lived and I suffered instead of her but at least I'd be able to smell her".

When we are so close to ruining Kaleli family, we cannot let them win.

Nefes...

... let me heal your wounds.

I love you.

The No. 1 Thing Coach Must Have - Duration: 3:05.

Hey this is Robert Simic, The Billionaire Coach and I felt inspired to share with you

the No. 1 thing a coach must have to be successful.

You see, most ordinary Life Coaches do not succeed in their chosen career, due to lack

of this one thing.

Granted, there could be many general things that are missing too... like actual marketing

and business knowledge, or still having unresolved, personal agendas, hidden from the public,

often ignored or not even aware of... that's sabotaging their success.

Assuming you've dealt with your "inner game" and you are absolutely aligned within

yourself already... then the following is the only thing you may still need.

This one thing is… "the ability to see your client's potential.

You must have this unwavering belief... an absolute knowing... that your client already

has all that he or she needs... within the self.

You see, not seeing this in your clients... is a problem.

Not believing in their health, their kids, their relationship, their business success...

is a problem.

You need to have this.

You need to believe in them, and you need to know this in your heart, on a deepest level.

And you already know what I'm going to say next, don't you?

It all starts… within yourself.

Seeing this in clients is super easy if… you can see it in yourself.

If you believe... if you wholeheartedly know that… you have all that you need... inside

of you already... than… you can make it happen.

You can make it happen for you, and you can make it happen for your clients.

You wouldn't buy into their perceived limitations, and you'd be able to show them the other

side.

That's what they are paying you for.

Change.

Results.

And you need to be able to help them get there.

And a solid conviction about their ability to change and make it happen... combined with

a solid belief in your own ability and resources as a coach... will guide you through the needed

steps.

Now... if you've been trained by me...

I know you have the skills.

I know you have the tools most coaches and psychologists don't even dream about yet.

But... have you used them on you... in this specific context yet?

Have you got it, got it... got it?

Do you own it in every cell of your being?

Can you, feel it... now... inside out?

Let's get real, inside... and… out there... and let's help some people who need us.

Never mind the nay-sayers and never mind those who don't want your help.

There are soooo many people out there... ready for change... even crying for help... so focus

on them, and help those in need.

Sending you much love and gratitude, as always.

And if you haven't been trained by me yet… and you are watching this kind of a video

right now… looking at your screen, listening to the sound of my voice, wondering about

so many things… you'd be right… to think that… there is something for me to… learn

here… so please… only when… you are ready… reach out… from within and… make

contact with me, so that you too can… create the life of your dreams… inside… out.

Obama's Political Comeback Comes to Sudden Halt After Air Force Officer Exposes Nasty Secret - Duration: 14:35.

Obama's Political Comeback Comes to Sudden Halt After Air Force Officer Exposes Nasty

Secret

Retired Air Force Capt. Joni Marquez, a highly decorated officer, is telling the story about

how Barack Obama caused the deaths of 38 soldiers in Afghanistan in what was the deadliest attack

on Navy SEALS in U.S. history.

This information comes 6 years after the tragedy occurred.

According to Marquez, had Obama not compromised the safety of these SEALS, in a sick effort

to protect lives of Muslim terrorists, these American soldiers would still be alive today.

The attack on these soldiers took place in on August 6, 2011.

On that day Marquez and her crew were working on their AC-130 gunship, when they were told

to take part in a mission that she described as "almost like a 9-1-1 type of a situation."

According to a report in Circa:

The gunship was ordered to fly close-in air support above Afghanistan's dangerous Tangi

Valley, in Wardak Province, assisting troops with the Army's 75th Ranger Regiment who

were being fired on by eight heavily armed Taliban insurgents.

The Rangers had called in for assault helicopters to engage the enemy hiding among the rocky

valley.

The air weapons team fired on the Taliban fighters, but not all of the insurgents were

killed as originally believed.

According to Marquez, what should have been a simple mission of taking out terrorists

never occurred, as Obama's generals never gave the gunship permission to fire on them.

Marquez explained, "We had seen two of [the insurgents] moving, crawling away from the

area, as to not really make a whole lot of scene."

Marquez then said to the ground commander, "You have two enemy forces that are still

alive," she said.

"Permission to engage."

Marquez was never given the go-ahead to engage, allowing the two terrorists to get away.

Marquez and her team then tracked the enemy insurgents, watching as headed to a village,

where they rallied more terrorists to join them in their fight.

During this time, a CH-47 Chinook helicopter, with the call sign Extortion 17, was brought

into the firefight.

Ultimately, a rocket-launched grenade from a Taliban fighter connected with the Chinook,

sending the helicopter into a downward spiral, which killed all 38 people who were aboard.

Seventeen of the victims were Navy SEALs.

Marquez emphasized, "If we would've been allowed to engage that night, we would've

taken out those two men immediately"

Marquez's account of that painful day has been corroborated by the Inspector General

of the Defense Department, in a top-secret report that was previously sealed.

Had Obama not made changes to the U.S. military's rules of engagements in 2009, essentially

giving precedence to the lives of Muslim terrorists over the lives of American soldiers, it is

likely that this tragedy would have been avoided.

It is Marzuez's hope that her story will be shared so as to expose the truth about

what happened that night.

She wants our military's rules of engagement to be changed and she thinks this could be

part of a plan to accomplish that.

Marquez said, "I won't rest until some kind of justice is served, in a manner of

either, you know, the people that were responsible for that night, for making those calls, come

forward and are honest about it…"

Experts take on the second inter-Korean summit talks - Duration: 2:23.

So we've heard from President Moon...

President Trump... and Kim Jong-un.

Let's now take a look at what the experts are making of the latest inter-Korean summit.

Kim Hyesung has this report.

Another surprising, historic meeting between the two Koreas.

It was held for two hours on the North's side of Panmunjom as part of efforts to continue

inter-Korean dialogue and to salvage the North Korea-U.S. summit for June, which was abruptly

canceled on Thursday by U.S. President Donald Trump.

Saturday's summit meeting was only the fourth time the leaders have met face-to-face since

the Korean War, but it was the second time they met in just one month.

"Another significance of this development is that South Korea's role has been reconfirmed

and revalidated with President Moon Jae-in in the middle talking to both sides very closely.

I think it's very significant."

President Moon Jae-in said during the meeting that he relayed President Trump's desire to

end hostile relations if North Korea implements complete denuclearization.

He also said that North Korea is committed to holding a summit with the U.S. and to the

complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

Directly exchanging opinions, leaders from the two Koreas showed how they were able to

get together quickly to tackle a crisis in a way that until recently would have been

almost unthinkable.

Yet, experts say one key thing remains unclear -- the definition of denuclearization.

"President Moon was asked about whether North Korea will commit to CVID -- that is, complete,

verifiable and irreversible denuclearzation.

But he did not give a clear answer.

This remains a critical sticking point between the North and the U.S., that needs to be ironed

out to reach any kind of agreement."

As President Moon Jae-in delivered his first public comments about the surprise meeting,

President Trump said the date and place for the summit talks with North Korea haven't

changed.

If the summit happens, and if it's to be a success, the devil will be in the details.

Now all eyes are on the upcoming inter-Korean high level talks on June 1st and the preparatory

meetings between Washington and Pyongyang to iron out the agenda to help achieve a successful

North Korea-U.S. summit.

[LUW TRIES DRAWING] U ASKED FOR THIS BS - Duration: 5:24.

This video is cringy and explains a few things at the same time, if you're scared, stop it now !

Eeer...Hi ? OK I know, before we start

I know you're not used to here me this much, I'm not used to speak this way either, speaking alone, to my mic', just for a voice-over

I've been ask for some kind of commentary, explaination, ... about how I do my shitty video stuff

FIRST we get to see how I create Whyve's avatar

this way I'll be able to add it into intros, hide chat things, ...

to sum it up : add him into SUIT stuff !

First it starts with a doodle (U'll see one at the end of this vid)

of a human girl with a weird face.

Then I go for a line and I end up coloring it....

JUST LIKE A KID :V

But who cares, as it allows me to get such a simple, living, and...Striking (?) video !

Eeer...I think it's the right word *meh*

Now we can se me trying some stuff on SAI

to know what I going to aim for

(blah blah blah... )

(MOAR BLAH SHIT)

AND then I go back to after effect (yay I can use it !)

(me complaining about the fact I can't speak right after wakin'up ... lel)

I first put the background & the stains

I ABSOLUTELY wanted to put stains as I needed my intro to be kind of childish

I put characters on the tasks they belong to

Cuz yay, before trying things on SAI, I first drew it in a shitty way on paper, and decided which color would fit everyone of us.

(ok, paper things is designed so it doesn't look like shit so hard)

Now, I'm trying my best to reach the effect I want to create

to sum it up : I wanted to get bouncing characters (Maurice, Whyve, Soustra & I) appearing with some "pop" noises

Yay, I really wanted a childish intro cuz in our heads

we never reached 20 YO & moar

Nah, we never grew up, we must be stuck around 12/13 YO.

something like that...

Now I'm playing with Maurice to create my bouncing effect

I'm using scales to reach it : first putting scale to 0, then 56 (to get the "full size" I need)

then I play with scales (0;56;40;56;...) to have the bounce I need

I'll do it for every char'

that's to say Maurice, Luw (myself hu)

Whyve & Soustra

Why I made them appear this way ?

Just because I drew them in this order

Nothing to crazy, I didn't want to bother myself B)

Once I got everyone bouncing

and it seemed pleasant to my eyes

I added some text which was our guild name

TINY SUITS CREW WAS CREATED CUZ WE NOTICED SOME OF US HAD SUITS SKINS. WE EVEN HAVE THE TINY SUIT HYMN. NOW WE CHANGED OUR ARMOR SKINS BUT SUIT NAME REMAINS

ALWAYS big bold outline, as I think it gives a more cartoony vibe to the text

And then I add a typewriter effect

'cuz I find it cute

Finally we reach the "chat-cover" part

that's some ez-pz shit, takes only 2mins to be done

I just set everyone up, the same way I did in the intro,

Behind it I put some colorful paint stains

I put our guild's name OFC

aaaand that's it !

here's my own chat-cover, created the same way.

Here's the "bonus" :

the process of my last video-picture

you know, the one in which you can see me playing condi, CUZ YES BOYS, CONDITARD'S BACK

ok I know, I decided to play guardian

cuz I thought it implied moar skill, ...

and ofc less insults, but in the end I really don't give a damn shit

this is what I enjoy playing

watching ennemies die cuz of condis

is much more enjoyable than a simple one shot...

(I was streaming for my guild mated, which is why u just saw discord & things)

SO YAY, u'll get to the conditard even more

sorry about this if you don't like it as much as I do but... yay...

Now it's time for me to wish u a good day, evening, everything u want me to wish u

happy birthday, new year, everything...

eeer, bye.

this video was sponsored by words said way too much times in 5minutes.

If u liked this shit leave a thumbsup... JUST KIDDING, we don't care at all :D
