Youtube daily report w Jan 27 2019

The general problem Vietnamese speakers of English have with English gliding vowels

is that they don't realize that gliding vowels are actually made up of two sounds:

the /ɔʊ/ is made up of an /ɔ/ and an /ʊ/,

the /aɪ/ has an /a/ and an /ɪ/,

while the /eɪ/ is made up of an /e/ and an /ɪ/.

This is why we also call gliding vowels "diphthongs",

where the "di-" prefix means "two".

The word "gliding" means to move with a smooth and continuous motion,

so the "gliding" part of "gliding vowels"

refers to the characteristic of these sounds

whereby you have to "glide" (or move smoothly) from one vowel sound to the next.

However, Vietnamese people usually only pronounce the first sound

and skip the second one,

especially when the gliding vowel is followed by a consonant.

The specific mistake that Vietnamese people make with the /ɔʊ/ gliding vowel

is that they say a short /ɔ/ or /ɑ/ sound instead of the longer /ɔʊ/ sound.

So they say "hop" instead of "hope",

"not" instead of "note" and "cock" instead of "Coke".

If you think this is not a big problem, then please look up the word "cock" in a dictionary…

In this video:

We will learn how to say words with the /ɔʊ/ gliding vowel correctly.

We will examine how we typically spell words with this sound.

We will practice saying words and sentences with the /ɔʊ/ sound.

And we will test your newly acquired skills.

So, let's correct these mistakes

and start SPEAKING accurate English.

Are you with me?

Let's go!

You Will Become A Beast Harley After This Tutorial! (Eng Sub) | Mobile Legends Bang Bang - Duration: 12:46.

Hey everyone As promised, in this video I will be sharing

with you guys everything, absolutely everything I have learned so far about Harley.

After watching this video, you will definitely improve your Harley gameplay immensely.

These are the builds that I use for different situations.

And this is how I set up my mage emblem.

The spell I recommend for this season 11 is definitely retribution.

Even though they buffed the spell execute a little bit, the way you can farm and get

item faster with retribution, will equal to the extra damage from execute.

In my previous video I explained in full detail why this is the best way to build Harley,

so if you haven't seen it yet, I will leave the link on the description.

When using Harley, you definitely want to go to middle lane.

Let your team know that you want to solo mid, but if you get some stubborn teammate, then

duo mid is still okay.

Once I show you this rotation and farming technique, you will surely start dominating

your rank.

Okay with that said, this is how you want to approach the game.

Go to the small camp first.

Use retribution and first skill, and you should be able to kill it pretty fast.

If you are unsure that your teammate might steal your buff, which happens quite often

if you are in low rank, then save retribution.

Go back to mid and clear the wave, make sure you get as many last hit as possible.

Always go for the top buff, this way you will get level 4 a lot faster.

If you have two buff users, then in the pick and draft menu, tell them you watched Betosky

tutorial and then they should know you mean serious business.

If you are lucky, it might work =P

Tell the other user to take the bottom buff instead.

Noticed here, I am pinging Chou to retreat, because if he shares the experience I won't

be level 4.

And as a middle player, you really need that ultimate to dominate.

And even though I was sort of joking about watching Betosky tutorial.

In this particular match, Chou recognized me and asked me if I was the real one.

Once I confirmed it, well this is what happened.

He listened when I pinged retreat.

Noticed here that I am about to have retribution again.

I am not going to use it.

I will save it so I can secure the crab.

Also, while you are taking the buff, I want you to pay attention to the mini map.

If the enemy already pushed the lane, then clear the wave fast and then go take the crab.

If not, then go and take the crab first.

Okay look here, remember when I didn't share the buff experience with Chou?

Thanks to that, now I am exactly at level 4 with Ultimate ready.

Believe it or not, this is a very strategic game and I have always loved to implement

strategy in my games.

And I know this seems like a bad idea that I am sharing all my secrets and tricks, but

you know what, sharing is caring So share the video guys =D

Here I could just farm mid, but I chose to gank after taking a quick look at the map.

By the way, all my tutorials are from Mythic Rank and most of them will be from solo games.

Okay, the enemy Lancelot is pretty good. Keep that in mind.

That crab steal from Angela really hurt, if I have killed it, I would have gotten the

mana to use my second skill to dash away.

Always take the buff first before doing anything else.

The buff is really important for Harley, it increase your damage output significantly,

gives you 20% cooldown reduction and decrease your mana cost.

Okay since I know the Lancelot is pretty farmed and I noticed he is a good player.

I am not going to Ult immediately, because he can simply dodge it with his second skill.

I would wait for him to use his second skill before ulting.

Even though I didn't get the kill, I still won the fight.

Let me tell you why.

I made him very low HP and made him waste his ultimate.

Which he could have used to one shot clear the wave.

Now we can get the turret for free.

Mastering Harley first and second skill is what separate, a good Harley from a great

one.

You got to think what the enemy is probably going to do and anticipate that.

This cannot really be taught in a tutorial video because each situation is different,

but I can give you a good example: If you know the enemy has a dash skill or

flicker, don't use your cards right away and wait until they dash, so you fully connect

your cards with the help of your second skill.

Look here, I have Ultimate available, but I am not using

it because I know Gussion is dead regardless.

And I saw the enemies were all there.

So I am saving it to secure another kill.

Oh look a free Mino! but my team are killing him already.

So, instead I chose to look for the Moskov that was trying to escape.

I hope you enjoyed the video, if you did, subscribe, like and turn the notification on.

Also let me know in the comment section what hero tutorial you want to see me doing next.

Bài #15 (2/9) - Âm đôi /ɔʊ/: Các lỗi người VN thường mắc phải - Phát âm tiếng Anh giọng Mỹ - Duration: 2:46.

INTERVIEW: Anzor KHIZRIEV (RUS) 125KG Champion Yariguin 2019 - Duration: 1:36.

Congratulations on the victory. How were you getting ready for the match

knowing that your opponent is such an accomplished wrestler?

Thank you very much for your congratulations. Of course, my opponent was one of the most difficult.

He is number one among the heavyweight freestyle wrestlers.

Anyway, I was preparing calmly

Everything would be decided on the mat. Doesn't matter how nervous you were.

That's why I was really calm.

I was not super nervous.

May be the feeling of being home helped me.

You brother also wrestled in final today. We you worrying about him? We you training together?

Of course, I was worrying about him.

You know that sometimes when you cheer for somebody

you feel more nervous than when you wrestle by yourself.

That's why I was a little nervous watching his match.

We train together in Saint Petersburg

We can't live without each other. We are always together.

What does it mean for you to take part in the competition

named after such a great wrestler as Ivan Yariguin?

Of course, it is a great pleasure. I always dreamed

just to watch this competition in 2008 or 2010.

There were so many great wrestlers taking part in this event.

So, I just wanted to come and watch.

Then I had a few chances to wrestle at this competition

and even got medals.

I can't even tell you my emotions, it's only possible to feel.

I wish it to every athlete.

So, it's really prestigious.

Thank you. Congratulations.

Jamie Munguia outpoints rugged Takeshi Inoue to defend WBO title - Duration: 1:51.

WBO junior middleweight champion Jaime Munguia made a successful defense of his world title tonight, taking a unanimous decision over Takeshi Inoue over 12 rounds of tough action

The official judges scored the fight 120-108, 120-108, and 119-109 for Munguia, while BLH scored the fight 119-109 for Munguia as well

Inoue entered this fight seemingly understanding that he didn't have the craft of Munguia, so instead tried to make the match more of a brawl, getting right in Munguia's chest as often as he could while throwing wild hooks

Inoue would sometimes land those hooks, particularly as the fight wore on, but he just couldn't land them at a rate to wear Munguia down

Meanwhile Munguia seemed to be pretty content fighting off the ropes and picking his shots to time hard hooks to the body and head

Munguia was particularly effective to the body, and those shots began to wear on Inoue in the second half with Inoue visibly flinching several times

That said, Inoue still never gave up on himself, nor his game plan. He continued to walk through fire while taking hard shots, and even when it appeared that he was about to hit the deck he managed to catch himself

Unfortunately Inoue just couldn't do enough to score regularly. In the end CompuBox stats had Munguia (32-0, 26 KOs) landing 311 of 998 total punches (31

2%) while Inoue (13-1-1, 7 KOs) landed 134 of 542 total punches (24.7%).

is getting farther and farther away from you.

Let me just say this.

If that's you today, you need a life lift.

And if you are falling flat on your face, you can get up

because Jesus will pick you up, and he will see to it

that you cross the finish line.

announcer: Teaching people everywhere who Jesus is and why

they need him, this is "Touching Lives with James Merritt."

James: I want you to turn to 1 Kings 19.

We're going to study a man today that was absolutely

at the bottom of the barrel of discouragement.

In fact, it's kind of surprising to see who he was.

His name was Elijah, and he's known as one

of the greatest prophets.

He may be the most famous prophet in all of the Bible.

Now, one of the most amazing things about Elijah is he was

discouraged when, when you look at where he was in his life,

he should have been encouraged.

He was down when he should have been up.

He had just achieved one of the greatest

singlehanded victories in history.

He faced greater odds than General Custer,

but he came out victorious.

You may not know the story, but he had gone toe to toe

with 450 false prophets of the pagan god Baal.

He decided to meet them on Main Street at high noon.

He said, "Okay, let's just see who's worshiping the right God.

Are you worshiping the right god, Baal?

Or am I worshiping the right God, the God that I call

'Jehovah' or 'Yahweh'?

Who's worshiping the right God?"

And they went 1 on 1, or actually, 1 to 450, in this

spiritual contest where the loser would die, and he won.

Well, before that, he had prophesied a nationwide drought

that would affect the entire land,

and it happened just as he said.

Not only did his prayers cause God to stop the rain, and rivers

dried up, and lakes dried up, and sand turned to more sand,

but then when he prayed again, he moved God to start the rain,

and the rivers filled up, and the lakes got full again.

Well, even before that, he had done the unthinkable.

He had done the impossible.

He had literally raised the son of a widow from the dead.

And so, here he is right now.

He is at the absolute peak of his spiritual power.

He's at the absolute top of his national popularity,

and yet he's at the bottom of the barrel of discouragement.

You say, "Why was he discouraged?"

I mean, he had all these things going for him.

He could raise the dead.

He could stop the rain.

He could start the rain.

He could take 450 prophets out just like that.

Why was he so discouraged?

And this is what's amazing, because of one angry,

ticked-off woman.

Now, I know there's some of you men that are probably sayin'

right now, "I get it, been there.

They certainly have that kind of power."

Well, it was one woman.

Now many of you know her name.

If you don't, probably the most infamous name in the Bible,

at least for a lady.

Her name was Jezebel.

Now, if you don't know anything about Jezebel,

let me just put it this way, and then you'll understand.

If you are a single man out there right now,

never marry a woman named Jezebel.

Just don't even go there, okay?

She was not happy with Elijah.

Number one, she wasn't happy because he had just taken out

450 of her prophets.

She wasn't happy about that.

But more than that, there was a national revival stirring up.

People were getting close to God.

They were beginning to turn their back on her and the king,

and they were beginning to turn toward God,

and she didn't like it.

And oh, by the way, she was the wife

of this wicked king named Ahab.

So, now we're gonna pick up the story in 1 Kings chapter 19:

"Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done," how he had

taken out the prophets, how he was raising people from the

dead, how he was preaching the Word of God,

how a revival was breaking out, "and how he had killed

all the prophets with the sword.

Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, 'So may the

gods,'" by the way, the false gods that he knew about.

"So may the gods do to me and more also, if I do not make your

life as the life of one of them by this time tomorrow."

Now, here's what had happened.

This wicked queen had put a contract out on his life.

Well, first of all, he'd already raised a son from the dead,

so he knew God had the power of life and death.

Number two, he had already taken out the 450 prophets of Baal.

He knew she didn't have any spiritual power.

But he forgot all that.

He forgot all about God.

He put God in the rearview mirror, and just like that,

he went from the mountaintop of victory to the valley

of discouragement.

But he came through it, and I wanna share with you

how he did it because you can do it as well.

And here's what I want you to take out the door.

Are you ready?

When you get discouraged, don't give up, look up.

When you get discouraged--not if, you will.

And when you get discouraged, don't give up, look up.

So, you're discouraged today, you're down and out, you're in

the middle of a big pity party.

You think, "Okay, I've just reached the end of the line,

can't go any further.

Let me tell you what to do.

Three simple steps, they're all right out of this text.

Number one, realize it.

When you're discouraged, first step you gotta take

is realize it.

Whenever you're dealing with any type of emotional issue,

the first thing you've got to do is just own up to the fact

that you're dealing with it.

Honesty is the best policy.

See, one of the biggest mistakes I made in my ministry

is when I get discouraged, I don't tend to tell anybody.

I don't want anybody to know that I'm down.

I don't want anybody to see any weakness in my life.

And usually, the person that sees it, and sometimes has to

suffer the consequences, is my sweet dear wife, Teresa.

Well, you need to be honest with yourself and be willing

to admit, "I am in the emotional dumps."

Because sometimes we either get discouraged because of things

that happen to us, or we get discouraged because of something

that someone says to us.

And let's face it, we all occasionally

feel like Charlie Brown.

You know, Charlie Brown had his own discourager.

You remember her name.

Her name was Lucy.

Lucy was always ready to tell Charlie what a loser he was.

She was already to put him down in the valley of discouragement.

As a matter of fact, in one of these comic strips that Charles

Schulz wrote, she said this to Charlie Brown.

She said: "Charlie Brown, you are a foul ball

in the line drive of life.

You are 3 putts on the 18th green.

You are a seven-ten split in the tenth frame.

You are a dropped rod and reel in the lake of life.

You are a missed free throw, a shanked nine iron,

a called third strike.

Have I made myself clear?"

Do you know any Lucys?

Maybe you're married to a Lucy.

Maybe your spouse is married to a Lucy.

Or maybe you're one of those people, you say,

"Man, I don't even need a Lucy.

I'm my own Lucy.

Nobody gets down on me better than me.

I'm an expert at getting down on myself.

Well, at least Elijah was honest enough to admit

that he was so defeated and he was so discouraged

that he even said this.

Listen to this.

He said, "It is enough."

That is, "I've had it, can't take anymore, I'm done."

"Now, O Lord, take away my life,

for I am no better than my fathers."

See, discouragement will make you act like a failure.

It'll make you think like a failure.

It will make you talk like a failure.

It will make you see like a failure.

It will make you hear like a failure.

And it will make you

just absolutely convinced you are a failure.

So, let me remind you again, some of the greatest,

godliest people in the Bible battled discouragement.

Moses got discouraged because he couldn't lead

the people of Israel.

They wouldn't follow his leadership.

Elijah, we see, was discouraged, because a woman

wanted to kill him.

Job was discouraged because of all the suffering

he had to go through.

Even Jesus got so discouraged that in the garden of Eden,

he prayed the only prayer he knew God

could not say, "Yes," to.

Great people battle discouragement.

Good people battle discouragement.

Godly people battle discouragement.

Kings and prime ministers and presidents and CEOs,

everybody battles discouragement.

So, my first piece of advice to you is this:

If you are discouraged, quit trying to hide it.

Quit trying to keep it under the ground.

Tell somebody, let somebody know.

Don't be afraid or ashamed to admit it.

Don't be afraid to tell someone.

Let somebody in on the fact, "Look, I am discouraged."

Number one, realize it.

Number two, reason it, reason it.

Now, let me tell you what I mean by that.

One of the best things that you can do when you're discouraged

is to force yourself to sit down and just truly analyze,

why are you discouraged?

Well, this is one of the best things I've ever done

when I get discouraged.

I'll stop and I'll say, "Okay, now wait a minute.

Why am I so discouraged?

And is this even a valid reason

why that this should discourage me?"

And so I'll begin to think of everything

that might be causing my discouragement.

Let me tell you why this is so important.

There have been a number of times in my life

when I've sat down and just took a deep breath and said,

"Okay, why are you so discouraged?"

It didn't take me long to realize,

"That shouldn't discourage me.

Either, A, I can fix it.

B, it's going to pass.

C, I know eventually things are going to get better."

And so, I'll realize at times,

"I really should not be discouraged."

See, one of the things that we see in Elijah's life is he was

discouraged after just coming off one of the greatest feats

any prophet had ever achieved.

He had achieved an unbelievable victory.

His approval ratings were skyrocketing,

and yet he's discouraged.

You know, one of the things I've noticed about my own life,

and I bet you'll realize it too.

Have you ever noticed how you can get discouraged after you've

come off maybe a great thing that happened in your life, or

some great accomplishment that you were able to put off?

You know, it's really amazing

how sometimes you'll get discouraged.

You think things are not going so well,

but things really are going just great.

And you see, Elijah did two things you should never ever do

when you get discouraged, and let me just warn you

before I tell you what these are.

If you ever do either one of these two things when you get

discouraged, you will just make your discouragement even worse.

And what's even worse than that is, if you're not careful,

then you can turn your discouragement into depression.

First of all, don't give in.

Don't give in.

That's what Elijah did.

Listen to what happened in 1 Kings 19, verse 3.

As soon as he found out there was a contract on his life,

here's how he responded: "Then he was afraid."

Translation: "Then he was discouraged."

All the courage had drained out of his life.

"And he arose and ran for his life and came to Beersheba,

which belongs to Judah, and he left his servant there."

Elijah gave in to the first thing that discouragement

will bring you, and that is fear.

See, that's what discouragement does.

Discouragement will drain all the courage out of you.

And instead of being full of faith, you will be full of fear.

And then, when you're full of fear, what do you do?

Then you run and then you hide.

And the cardinal sin people commit when they get discouraged

is to do just what he did.

They get into a shell.

They isolate themselves.

They're afraid to face up to the fact that they're discouraged.

They don't want anybody else to know that they're discouraged.

So, first of all, don't give in.

If you're discouraged, don't give in to fear.

Don't give in to this feeling, "It'll never work out,

I'm doomed."

Number two, don't give up.

Don't give up.

Listen to what happens next: "But he himself went

a day's journey into the wilderness and he came

and sat down under a broom tree.

And he asked that he might die, saying, 'It is enough; now,

O Lord, take away my life, for I am no better than my fathers.'"

This is as good place to remind you of something.

Listen carefully, this is important.

God is in the encouraging business.

Satan is in the discouraging business.

In fact, the Greek word for "Holy Spirit" is a word that

means "called alongside to help and encourage."

I don't believe there's a greater weapon in the arsenal of

the devil to try to stop a believer in their tracks than

the weapon of discouragement.

So, get to the root of the problem.

Reason out why you are discouraged,

and then take the third step to overcome it.

Third step is, you remedy it.

You remedy it.

Let me just stop and say this.

I don't wanna come down too hard on you if you're discouraged.

I'm not tryin' to make you feel worse, okay?

So let me just make somethin' very plain.

This is so important that you hear this.

There is nothing wrong or sinful about getting discouraged.

There's nothing wrong with it, nothing sinful about it.

There's nothing wrong or sinful with being discouraged,

but there is something wrong with staying discouraged.

In fact, do you know one of the reasons

why this Book was written?

This Book wasn't just written to tell us how to relate to God,

though that's the number-one reason.

It wasn't even just written to tell us how to get to heaven,

though that is one reason it was written.

You know why this Book was written?

Listen to what the Apostle Paul said.

He said: "For whatever was written in former days,"

that's this Book.

"For whatever was written in former days was written

for our instruction, that through endurance and through,"

say that word with me, "encouragement."

"That through the encouragement of the Scriptures

we might have hope."

"We might have hope."

God has given us a Book that is filled with encouragement.

Why do you think the stories, the great stories of the Bible

are in there?

Just so we could make Hollywood movies out of them?

Just so that we could show them on a documentary on television?

Just so that we could read 'em as bedtime stories

to our children?

No, do you know why these great stories are in the Bible?

For our encouragement.

I mean, even this story was written for our encouragement.

See, there are some practical things you can do that Elijah

did to overcome discouragement.

You don't have to let discouragement be the tail

that wags the dog of your life.

Listen, this is important.

You can literally act your way into feeling encouraged,

and that's a whole lot easier than trying to feel your way

into acting encouraged.

Did you hear what I said?

See, the solution is not, "Well, I'll just try to work myself up

and feel encouraged, and then I'll act."

You'll never beat it that way.

You've got to act your way into feeling encouraged.

You say, "How do you do that?"

Let me give you some steps that Elijah took

to overcome his discouragement.

The first one may surprise you.

First of all, lie down.

You say, "What?"

No, I'm being serious.

Take a break, lie down.

Listen to what he did in verse 5: "And he lay down

and slept under a broom tree.

And behold, an angel touched him

and said to him, 'Arise and eat.'

And he looked, and behold, there was at his head a cake

baked on hot stones and a jar of water.

And he ate and he drank and lay down again."

Remember I told you how exhausted he was, how emaciated

he was, how dehydrated he was, how thirsty that he was,

how tired that he was?

Well, discouragement will usually do two things to you.

It will rob you of your appetite,

and it'll rob you of sleep.

Discouraged people don't sleep well.

They don't eat a lot.

So, the first thing that Elijah did was he took a nap,

got some sleep, ate a good meal.

Now, let me just tell you somethin'.

One of the most spiritual things you can do in your life is rest.

One of the most spiritual things you can do in your life

is to relax, to take a nap, to get some sleep,

to fix yourself some food.

Listen, taking a vacation is not just a recreational deal.

It's a spiritual deal.

Sometimes one of the most spiritual things you can do

is take your kids to Six Flags.

Now, you better be full of the Holy Spirit when you do that,

but one of the most spiritual things you can do

is just take a break and just relax and get away.

I can tell you, baggy eyes and an empty stomach

is not gonna help you overcome discouragement.

So, the first thing you need to do: lie down.

Second thing you need to do: look up.

See, when you're discouraged, you'll tend to focus more and

more on your discouragement, and then when you begin

to focus on your discouragement, it's kinda like being

in what's called a "death spiral."

You just, you're in a spin and you can't get out of it.

And then discouragement will lead you into depression.

And then depression will sink you

into the quicksand of despair.

And when you get into the quicksand of despair--and here's

how you'll know it when you do.

When you've gone from discouragement to depression

to despair, then you do the one last thing

that you think will make you feel better.

You know what that is?

You throw a pity party.

That's what you do.

That's what Elijah did.

Listen to what he said in verse 4:

"'I've had enough, Lord,' he said.

'Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.'"

Now, the Merritt translation of that's a lot easier:

"Woe is me.

Don't you feel sorry for me?"

Elijah had completely forgotten God, and he threw the one party

that no one ever comes to except you, and that is a pity party.

Let me just warn you of something.

Okay, God doesn't do pity parties,

and let me just tell you something else.

Nobody else does either.

Nobody's comin' to your pity party.

I'm not comin'.

They're not comin'.

And if they do come, they're not gonna bring a gift.

Nobody does pity parties, and you will never solve a problem

in your life by looking down.

Now, look, what happens next changed everything.

Listen to verse 8: "And he arose and ate and drank, and went in

the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb,

the mount of God."

Elijah's directed by the angel to go to the mount of God.

What is the mount of God?

The mount of God is where God was wanting to meet Elijah.

And when you're discouraged, let me tell you something.

God wants you to go to the mount.

There's a place where God wants you to meet him.

And when you go to the mount of God and you meet with the God

of the mountain, there's only one direction you can look.

You know where that is?

Up.

You don't ever look down at God.

You always look up to God.

When you go to the mount of God, you look up.

And see, to overcome your discouragement,

you can't look inward.

You can't look downward.

You can't even look outward.

You've got to look upward because when you're looking at

no one but God--listen, when you're looking at no one

but God and nothing else but God,

that's when you could put everything

in its proper perspective.

That's when you can say, "Why am I so discouraged, God?

You can handle this.

God, you can take care of this.

God, you can get me through this.

God, I am not in this alone."

So, when you lie down, and then when you look up, then you can

take the third step, and that's this: listen hard, listen hard.

So, here's what we're going to read:

"And he said, 'Go out and stand on the mount

before the Lord.'

And behold, the Lord passed by,

and a great and strong wind tore the mountains

and broke in pieces the rock.

And after the wind an earthquake,

but the Lord was not in the earthquake.

And after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not

in the fire.

And after fire there was the sound of a low whisper."

So, you wanna overcome your discouragement?

You gotta quit thinkin' about yourself.

You gotta quit thinkin' about your problems.

You gotta quit thinkin' about what caused that discouragement.

And you've got to start thinking about God because it is when

you're in the valley of discouragement

that God can speak the loudest.

And it's when you're in the valley of discouragement

you can hear God the best.

Now, let me tell you what I've saved for last.

Disappointment, which really causes discouragement,

disappointment is often his appointment.

Yep, sometimes God allows you to go down into the valley

of discouragement, not to discourage you,

but to encourage you.

Sometimes God lets you get into these situations, where you say,

"I can't do this anymore.

I can't take this anymore.

I cannot go any further."

And God says, "Well, great, now I've got you right

where I want you."

Quit looking down, quit looking in, quit looking out,

and start looking up.

Look away from whatever's causing your discouragement to

an all-powerful, Almighty God, who can give you encouragement.

And listen, one of the greatest ways to do that, one of the

things that got me through that time of discouragement

in my life, I just stayed in the Word of God.

I kept reading about what God said to me and what God said

for me because, you see, you cannot hear God,

and you'll not listen to God, until God speaks to you.

And God speaks loudest through his Word.

And if you don't hear anything else I say,

listen to this next principle.

Never let your problems outweigh God's promises.

Never let your problems outweigh God's promises.

No matter what you're discouraged about, no matter how

much you think you have a reason to be discouraged,

God has already promised, "Hey, I'm gonna work everything out

for your good, and everything out for my glory."

You see, the truth of the matter is this.

Discouragement is an opportunity

to experience God's encouragement.

God loves to encourage us in the midst

of our greatest discouragement.

Billy Graham put it this way.

He said: "Mountaintops are for views and inspiration,

but fruit is grown in the valleys."

That is so true.

It's easy to forget God when you reach

the mountaintop of victory.

But you are reminded of your need for God when you are

in the valley of discouragement and disappointment

and disillusionment and defeat.

So I close with this.

One of the greatest movies I think ever made, won the Academy

Award for Best Picture, made many, many years ago--if

you've never seen it, get it and see it.

It was called "Chariots of Fire."

It's a must see.

It's the story of two men who competed in the Olympics

at the turn of the century.

One of the runners was Harold Abrahams.

He was a dedicated young Jewish man.

The other man, the other runner, Eric Liddell,

was a lightning-fast young Scotsman

and a wonderfully devout Christian.

In one of the most dramatic scenes, Liddell was about to run

the race, and as the starter pistol fired, he had this habit

of kinda throwing his head back as he started off.

And he shot ahead of the pack, but as he did, he was

intentionally knocked to the ground by one of his opponents.

He was lying in the center of the track as the other runners

quickly outdistanced themselves from him,

and the truth of the matter is, many runners,

if not most runners, would have just given up.

But Liddell, with this determined look on his face,

rose up, looked up to heaven, threw his head back, and while

he was praising God, began to run as hard as he could.

Soon, he was closing in on the other runners, and in a dramatic

last-minute finish, giving it everything he had, he inched

forward and he won the race, and he won the gold medal.

So, life had knocked you flat on your back.

You're lying on the track, and it looks like that goal

you were after, it looks like what you were trying to achieve,

it looks like that finish line you were trying to cross

is getting farther and farther away from you.

Let me just say this.

If that's you today, you need a life lift.

And if you are falling flat on your face, you can get up

because Jesus will pick you up, and he will see to it that you

cross the finish line.

While the scores were wide -- 120-108, 120-108 and 119-109, all for Munguia -- they belied just how hard Inoue pushed Munguia (32-0, 26 KOs)

Munguia tried his best but couldn't put away Inoue (13-1-1, 7 KOs), who was hurt several times in the late rounds but never wavered in his effort as he continued to make the fight difficult for the young champion

Munguia threw nearly 1,000 punches and landed 311, many of them power punches, and while he hit Inoue with a multitude of left hooks to the body and head, Inoue never left his feet

Inoue certainly had his moments in the fight, pressuring Munguia and backing him up to the ropes, but Munguia landed the majority of punches in most rounds

Both fighters started the bout quickly by letting their hands go and the pace never let up

While Rojas, 32, had the heavier punches, his offensive output was more than matched by 24-year-old Xu

He won by lopsided scores of 118-110, 117-111 and 116-112. "This is my second time to come to the USA to fight

Before I came here, I knew it's a very hard fight," he said. "So I got ready for this fight

I did a lot of work for this. "I respect my opponent, Rojas, my friend. He's very tough

But I knew I can win." With this victory and his new belt, Xu could be in line to face Leo Santa Cruz

Ortiz (12-0, 12 KOs) was steady in breaking down Valdez (23-5-1, 12 KOs), who was the first opponent to take Ortiz past Round 3 in his young career

Valdez was hurt in the fifth and cut over his left eye. His corner made the decision to wave the white flag before the start of the sixth

"I gotta give credit to him," Ortiz said. "He has a lot of heart. . As a fighter I really respect him

I can only respect him for doing with he did in there." Ortiz, 20, has made it clear that at some point this year he would like a shot at the title

"I thought it was really nice that he signed off as 'Philip' and not the formal title

I was pleasantly surprised because of the personalised nature," she said. "A lot of people said it was unrealistic that I wanted that human kindness from Prince Philip — which is what I saw this letter as

" The mum-of-two previously vented her frustration that she had not received a personal apology from the Duke for his role in the horror smash

It was also reported that she came under intense pressure to "keep quiet" after the crash

Emma had claimed the only message she got was from a police family liaison officer — and it "didn't even make sense"

Emma said the officer told her: "The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh would like to be remembered to you

" She said: "That's not an apology or even a well-wish." Philip yelled "My legs!" as he was pulled from the wreckage of his overturned Land Rover in Norfolk

The Duke of Edinburgh, 97, was trapped after the vehicle he was driving collided with a Kia carrying two women and a baby

Witness Roy Warne, 75, said of the smash near Sandringham, Norfolk: "It was frightening to see

" Mr Warne also told how Prince Philip said he was "dazzled by the sun" at a T-junction before his Land Rover hit another car carrying a mother and baby

He said The Duke of Edinburgh was pulled from the wreckage "conscious" but "very, very shocked and shaken"

Prince Philip was breathalysed by police following the horrific smash. Barrister Roy, 75, who was first at the scene, helped to free the "disorientated" royal from his motor, which had overturned

He heard the Duke later admit to cops he had been "dazzled by the sun". Roy was driving home with his wife Victoria, 72, shortly before 3pm and saw the Land Rover flip a split-second after the collision

Prince Philip was trapped inside and told rescuers: "My legs! Where should I put my legs?" But he was not thought to have suffered any serious injuries — and was at the Queen's side, resting at their Sandringham estate

Philip will be monitored by doctors in the coming days as they look for signs of internal injuries

Roy said: "I saw the car flip and thought f*****g hell. "Before I even stopped I said to Victoria, dial 999

" Roy helped Philip out of his overturned Land Rover. He said: "I looked down and had the Prince's blood on my hands

"All I could think is, thank goodness there wasn't more." Another witness told The Daily Telegraph Philip seemed "distraught" and it was a "miracle" he escaped uninjured

It is believed the Land Rover drove out from a T-junction on Queen Elizabeth Way and was struck by a Kia people carrier with two women and a ten-month-old screaming baby inside

The driver of the blue Kia told Victoria: "That could have been a disaster." Roy said the Land Rover "came across the A149 like a somersault

It was turning on its side over and over". He added: "It was frightening to see a powerful car rolling like that

"I rushed to the other car — there was smoke coming out as if it may explode. There was a baby in the back seat screaming

"Once myself and another chap had managed to pull the baby out, I went to the overturned car

"There was one elderly person inside and I tugged at the smashed windscreen and sunroof to try and get the driver out

"He was lying on his side and his legs were down in the well of the car. I asked him to lift his left leg as his legs were trapped, and he said 'Where to?' "I suddenly realised it was Prince Philip

"As he lifted his left leg, there was room for his right leg to move. "I reached into the car, put my hands under his armpits and gently eased him out

"He stood up and was unharmed but was obviously very shocked. "He was disorientated and humbled

I believe he was very sorry about what had happened. The sun was very low in the sky

Considering his age he got off much better than the people in the other car." Prince Philip retired from public life in August 2017 after decades supporting the Queen and attending events for his own charities and organisations

Despite undergoing a hip replacement last year he has continued driving. Prince Charles had previously told of his concern about his dad's getting behind the wheel

In June 2014 the Prince of Wales told a D-Day veteran's son he was worried about the fact the Duke was still driving a car

The Palace calculated he had completed 22,219 solo engagements since 1952. Since retiring from official solo duties, he has appeared in public alongside the Queen and other members of the Royal Family at events

But he did not attend the Royal Family's Christmas Day service at Sandringham this year

The prang will spark fresh debate over the whether there should be a driving age limit

Tottenham transfer news: Dimitar Berbatov picks out potential Mauricio Pochettino signing - Duration: 2:13.

That is according to former Spurs ace Dimitar Berbatov, who has recalled his own experience as evidence that type of deal might work

Tottenham are in the market for a forward before the transfer window shuts next week with Kane facing more than a month on the sidelines

A whole host of options have been touted as potential targets, including Andy Carroll, Marko Arnautovic and Malcom

Berbatov cannot see Tottenham raiding West Ham or Barcelona for any of those three possible options

Although he thinks he has a solution which would work for Mauricio Pochettino in the short term, as well as when Kane is back in the fold

"The other option is for Spurs to go for an older, more experienced talent on loan until the end of the season," Berbatov told Betfair, having weighed up reported interest in Carroll, Arnautovic and Malcom

"Someone who is in good shape but realistic enough to accept a bit-part role behind Kane

" Berbatov has reflected on his own spell at Monaco as proof an older head could do a job for Tottenham

Although he admits it will be tough to get the right man on board at this stage of the campaign

"It worked for me when I moved from Fulham to Monaco in the January transfer window after Falcao suffered an injury," Berbatov added

"I enjoyed myself straightaway, scored goals and ended up signing for another season

"Who is the current Berbatov though? Again, I don't know. "It just highlights what a tricky time it is to buy a player

"In the end maybe Spurs won't buy anyone. "It's not like it hasn't happened before of course

" Tottenham have a week to go before the January transfer window closes, with fixtures against Crystal Palace and Watford to come in that time too

Why Liverpool youngsters will be 'running' to take on Man United - Duration: 4:14.

Liverpool under-18s saw their dream of lifting four trophies dashed by bitter rivals Manchester United on Saturday

But coach Barry Lewtas believes his side emerged with real credit despite the devastating 3-2 loss in their Premier League Cup quarter-final at the Academy in Kirkby

Goals from Paul Glatzel and Bobby Duncan put the young Reds 2-0 up until a red card for Morgan Boyes for pulling back visiting forward Largie Ramazani on the hour turned the game on its head

Mason Greenwood despatched the resultant free-kick and, after Teden Mengi equalised to forced extra time, scored from another set-piece to seal an unlikely United win

"It was a tough one to take," said Lewtas. "Whenever you lose a quarter-final especially to Manchester United, it always is

"At 2-0 we were comfortable. We'd played ever so well. They have players who can have moments but we kept United's two midfielders where we wanted them on the pitch, we kept them deeper, we pressed well and we were good on the counter-attack

Video Loading Video Unavailable Click to play Tap to play The video will start in 8Cancel Play now  "The red card made it a different game, and the sucker punch was that the free-kick went in as well

That really hurt us.  "But I can't have a go at the lads, there were loads of positives

When it was 11 v 11 we were the better side."  Liverpool lead the U18 Premier League and are through to the last 16 of the FA Youth Cup and are in the knockout stages of the UEFA Youth League

The young Reds are at United for a league game in a fortnight, and Lewtas said: "It'll be interesting to see who goes into the game more confident

"We should be running there wanting to take them on again. They are a good team with good players but some of our play in the first half was good

"We haven't lost often, but losing is part of the development and how you bounce back

"Not many teams win four trophies a season at any level, so there are always going to be those ups and downs

"  Remarkably, the last six games at U18 level between Liverpool and United have seen at least one red card, with the Reds having had a player dismissed in five of them

And of Boyes' dismissal, Lewtas added: "I don't think it was malicious, it was an interpretation of the law but it's obvious Morgan pulled him back

I'm not going to complain about the red card.  "We spoke to the boys about the discipline and I thought we competed well

The red card was more a lapse of concentration than anything else. Keep up to date with all the Liverpool news and transfer rumours here  "In the big games like that, going down to 10 makes it really difficult

And United played well against our 10 men, it's not always easy. And their striker took the free-kicks well

"We showed a lot of character but it was a tough ask for us. It was a shame we were undone by three set-pieces, but it's testament to how well we defended that we blocked everything else

"

Mesut Ozil gets message from Arsenal boss Unai Emery but it's a mess - Sutton - Duration: 3:14.

That's the view of former Premier League striker Chris Sutton, with Ozil struggling at Arsenal this season

The midfielder hasn't played since Boxing Day despite appearing to train alongside his Gunners team-mates regularly

Emery has given a number of reasons for leaving Ozil out of his side this campaign, including tactical and injuries

There have been reports suggesting Ozil could leave the Gunners in the summer with Inter Milan believed to be keen

Arsenal may be willing to sell Ozil with the German their highest-paid player on £350,000 per week

Emery has admitted the club can only bring in loan signings this month, due to costs with Arsenal also spending big money on Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang over the past 12 months

But Sutton believes Ozil could force his way back into the side if he starts putting more effort in

Sutton, promoting The Sportsman's Perfect 10 game, said: "Emery has walked in to this situation and you can say that it's a bit of a mess now they can only work in loans

"It's certainly not ideal for him but with the Ozil situation I think he's saying if you're not going to run, you're not going to play

"There's a talent in Ozil, I'm a big fan in terms of what he can do with the ball

"Emery sees him day in, day out, and he's obviously not happy enough with him otherwise he'd be playing

"I think that there needs to be a patience at Arsenal, there is a patience at Arsenal

"If I was an Arsenal fan I would be slightly concerned that they can only sign loans but I don't think they're really in a position where they are going to get above their station

"They need time to build, he [Emery] needs windows to build. It's not ideal they can only sign loans

"I know Arsenal fans want a top four finish but I think the start of the season has been very good under Emery and exceeded expectations

" Arsenal face Manchester United in the FA Cup tonight (7.55pm). Play The Perfect 10 with Chris every week for your free chance to win £10,000

Bài #15 (2/9) - Âm đôi /ɔʊ/: Các lỗi người VN thường mắc phải - Phát âm tiếng Anh giọng Mỹ - Duration: 2:46.

Let's go!

Manual mode 101 | Photography Crash course | Roy wong - Duration: 10:50.

Morning, what's up guys?

welcome back to my channel and

If you are new to photography and if you are get tired off shooting in auto mode

And this video is for you before I start anything i give an

introductions first, but you have any cameras or any device you have or ur phone just turn it to Manual mode and make

Sure your exposure set to auto white balance for this episode in future

I'll make specific video for white balance itself

So make sure you subscribe to my channel and follow my ig and i will update here and there soon

So today we're going to talk about three main things , first

ISO second shutter speed and aperture before I start anything

I would like to give an analogy you to this three things shutter speed ISO and aperture

Three point see saw which you need to balance each other to get a

perfect image every factor affecting each other

so I would like to start with iso so the definitions for ISO is

international standardization of

Organizations in other words is a sensitivity of your camera sensor to light

which means when you have a low ios and so your sensor is

less sensitive to the light will create a more darker image like this as you can see a normal camera will be a

100 200 400 800

1000 when come to a high ISO

6400

Ten-thousands, you create a brighter image you use it in low-light like these situations indoor situations or during nighttime

don't have any light source is just cranked up iso and in terms of when you using a low ISO

Low iso basically you use it at outdoor situations or during daytime

Most of the time your exposure will be blown out so need to use as minimal iso as possible to compensate

The outcome I would say when u using low iso u will get a crisp darker image

when you crank up ur iso to thousands. You'll get a brighter Image grainy like this

most people would like to avoid

compensate this thing make sure your aperture is fully open to the biggest and you can use a lower ISO and you also

Can use a slower shutter speed I would like to start with the experiments have two

constant variables but you keep your shutter speed and aperture constant and you manipulate your ISO and I use a low ISO like 100

You'll create a more darker image but more crisps or cleaner image

So when I crank up my ISO image become brighter

Gradually you tend to introduce some grain to your image

also, you need to watch out here are some comparisons of the image taken with a

Manipulated iso keeping your aperture and shutter speed fix as yo u can see when I'm using a low ISO

the image wil be cleaner or more crisp but when i crank up my iso will get a brighter image

but your image will be grainy like this

most of times we say high iso is unusable

but it's not wrong. It's coming to artistic this of things and just depends on what kind of story want to tell it

So shutter speed it's like this thing the definitions for shutter speeds

is basically in the layman term is like a chopper or door that

Allow light to come into your sensor. How fast is closed when you have a

very fast shutter speed the number will be like label in terms of

denominator

1/8000 1/4000 1/1000

You need to times with one second

1/1000 shutter speed in which mean in terms of one second is this long cut into 1,000 pieces

the shutter of the camera will be

1,000 fast in one second and when you have a slow shutter speed one second two second or even thirty second for

sensor to exposed to light and

this thing create a brighter brighter image yet

You tends to introduce some blur to your image

You want to create a light trail a light panting image like this and like this and like this

When you use a high shutter speed is when u want to take action image or

motions or even you want to take a photo for events that everything is happening so fast

or even wedding atleast 100 and above to make sure your image is very sharp and static when you have a

higher shutter speed letting your camera

Let's expose chopped is very fast. Say less sunlight to come to a sensor. So you get a darker image

So to compensate this situations when using high shutter speed is to open up your aperture

So you're letting more light coming in to the sensor crank up your iso a bit to

compensate the low light situations to get up the perfectexposure for your image.

here are some experiment

the constant variable is

aperture and ISO. The manipulated variable is shutter speed when using high shutter speed darker image

so when I turn down to a slow shutter speed you letting more light enterl your camera and

Produce a brighter image like you have introduced some blur to your image. Here is the

comparisons of using different shutter speed

holding fix ISO and fix aperture , The third point of seesaw is

aperture one of the most interesting

complex factor that affecting your image

Your picture is a straw and your light is from beverage or drinks as you can imagine

When you have a very small aperture or very small diameter of straw you tends to suck up less

liquid or less light whenever a big bigger aperture like this and

You have a bigger straw like this when you drink a bubble tea you are able to drink more liquid

So you're allowing more liquid to be drinks allowing more light exposed to a camera

So aperture is different from previous factor like shutter speed or ISO I will say a big

aperture you means that you have a bigger channel for a lighter to expose your sensor

You create a brighter image make sense right when comes to very high number of aperture like it

f8 f16 f22 ,aperture is inversely is like the number is getting bigger like f22

the diameter of aperture is very small

So we are allowing lesser light coming into a sensor the outcome is you get a darker image

But everything will be in focus whenever

Low number of aperture means that you have a bigger aperture and letting more light coming into your camera

sensor get a brighter image when you

Using a very low number aperture is when you want to take a portrait like this

when you want to use a high number picture is when you want to take a photo of

landscape you want everything is in focus take a group photo that every person in focus you want to make sure your

number of aperture is very big and here is some experiment with

low number of aperture and also you're creating more interesting things like this

And when I'm focusing on the groot the subject you can see the background it's blur and this thing we call it

bokeh and when you listen to people they say they want to create a butterly

bokehlicious shot of photo and you separate your subject the groot to the background, so you'll create a more

3 dimensions look of your subject and when i slowly increase

The number of aperture your image you become darker

Everything will be comes in focus so compensate darker of an image

Increase ISO and a slower shutter speed and here are some comparison

Of using different

aperture

Basically this three things I mentioned before is a three point seesaw three factors that

interlink each other once you master these three

And basically you can create any

frame or story you want to tell you need to keep on practice and practice when you enter a new environment or

situations, you know what setting what the actual ISO what shutter speed suitable for the situations get

more

appropriorate

Exposures of your image. So here's a recap of what you have learnt today

So first thing in term of shutter speed when you get a higher shutter speed, you nail

the shot very fast vice versa you get a very low shutter speed you let more light expose to your sensor

We'll get brighter and your image will . tends to be blur the second you learn about iso ever higher

ISO you produce brighter yet grainer

Image you to watch out and using low ISO. You are letting your sensor less sensitive to light but darker

yet crisp your image third thing you learnt about aperture

low aperture means your aperture is very big. You're letting more light

coming in the sense that you'll get a more brighter and more bokeh when you have a higher

aperture aperture is very small lesser light get into your sensor this thing create darker yet everything in focus

Image and if you find this video is very useful. Be sure to a friends and family

Feel free to like and subscribe to my channel

So you won't miss out any content like this in near future and comment down below that things you want to learn in near future

And thanks to watch the video today and and I will see you very soon Rise and make it happen!!!

Vlog#2) พาทัว Airbnb เกาหลี + Skincare Routine ที่ใช้แล้วหน้าไม่แห้งไม่ลอก | JamiexBeauty - Duration: 8:10.

Hi Everyone!

Today I will be showing you guys my Airbnb in Korea and my winter skincare routine

I will start from the door

Someone post this on my door, food delivery service!

I'm hungry, maybe I should order something

Okay, let's start~~

When you walk in, you will see where I put my shoes

I brought one high-knee boots and one sneaker on this trip!

When you look inside, first thing you see is a long hallway

There are two bedrooms, first on the left is my room

Here is the mirror and where I wash my face

On the left is the bed

To the right is the bathroom, it's small but very nice and clean

Here's where I hang my clothes and put my shopping bags + luggage + make up

so that's the first room

back to the same hallway

Still confuse about this area bc there's no dining area or living room

This is probably for TV? idk

Fridge + Snacks from 7/11

No Microwave, just stove and water broiler

This is the second room, looks the same

hi (:

Its like a small apartment for working people that do not have time to dine at home together lol

But I love the location since its 10 mins walking from Gangnam Station and 20 ish mins walking from Garosugil

Now, lets start with the skincare part! yay!

The weather here is around -5 to 5 celcius

When I use this skincare routine, my makeup and skin didn't peel off so I know it works!

Let's start with the cleansing part:

I am using Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm

I bought this from USA, It's Charlotte Cho product! - the owner of soko glam

The cleansing balm is as good as the Heimish one

I also got the 2nd step cleanser from them

Soothing Tea Cleansing Gel, feels good for sensitive skin! + Vitamin E, PHA, Rice Ferment...

Next up is Toner!

I came to Korea to buy this!

Laneige Cream Skin <3

such a cute name and a pretty product!

I am loving it so far since the first day I used it

Its a milky liquid texture, super hydrating - makes the skin looks plump~

so impressed!

I will def keep using it

When I bought Cream Skin, they gave me a bunch of samples of the Essence

So I decided to buy one after using it for a week

But I prefer the moisture essence over hydro essence so I chose that one~

So I use this after the Cream Skin -- this is a hydrating essence

I love how my skin feels after using it, like my skin is drinking water

I also bought this for my mom and my sister

Then I use Pureheal's Centella 90 Ampoule

I packed this from home! It suppose to help controls blemish + redness + calming

It helps a little with scarring but more so calming and controlling blemish

The I use COSRX Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Essence

It feels more like a gel moisturizer rather than an essence actually

bc its super super super hydrating

Its a holy grail for dry skin people for sure - makes my skin so soft!!

Heres the texture

highly reccommend

idk if you can still find it, but ALAND should have!

Then I use moisturizer / sleeping mask

I use Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask

Its a sleeping mask, a moisturizer, also an eye mask

I don't really use this in the morning because its too thick under makeup

preferably for night time use

So that's all I use at night!

In the morning I just wash my face and use all the skincare mentioned

and then I will use Krave Beauty The Beet Shield - by Liah Yoo

It's a sunscreen / primer that is hydrating and doesn't really smell like sunscreen (YAS)

I think my makeup lasts longer with this too!

Please go try!! I got it from Kravebeauty.com Only available in USA and Korea for now

So that's all the product I am using in Korea~

Very happy with this routine!

If you have dry skin or going somewhere cold, try this routine!

Thank you for watching this video!

BYE! <3
