Youtube daily report w Jan 29 2019

[Giuliano Agostinho de Castro] I was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil. That's in the south, but when I was young I

moved to Rio. I first came to University of Rochester in the fall of 2016. My first

semester was great I joined the rugby team and I had a great time there. I met

many of like great guys. On winter break I went back to Rio. That's when happened

the car accident. It was January 3rd, 2017. [Marcia Esteves Agostinho] It was 8:00 in the morning,

something like that. And I received a call from a friend of ours and she said,

"Marcia, there was an accident, but Giuliano is alive. " Alive?! Of course he's alive! Why he shouldn't be?!"

[Giuliano] The door where my head was, was like gone. And I just woke up and it

was like, yeah, I can't feel my legs. [Gilberto Teixeira de Castro] The first information we had even in

Brazil was that Giuliano was classified as a spinal cord type A. [Marcia] It means no hope. [Gilberto] No hope.

But we never accept this and we said maybe you are wrong. [Giuliano] At the time I'm just

like "okay, let's do this. There's nowhere else to go except ahead. So the

school just arranged for me to be able to take some classes while I was

still in Chicago. [Mark Wilson teaching] "See what happens when you throw that idea through this filter..."

[Mark WIlson] As far as keeping Giuliano in the game, I guess yeah, I resonated right away

because this is someone who wants to keep moving forward.

I heard that Giuliano was in the Rehab Institute of Chicago. My ears super

perked up because my cousin that I was very close with, Henry Betts, who was

instrumental in taking that to what it is today, and I was very aligned with

Henry Betts's philosophy around, focus on what you can do and

focus on moving forward. [Giuliano] My parents when the accident occurred, they just gave up

everything they were doing in Brazil and they moved with me to the United States.

[Gilberto] I've been working for a higher education institution in Brazil when I discovered

the course about higher education here in Warner School. I thought, oh, if I've been

learning by practice how to run a university in Brazil, what an opportunity

to study. [Marcia] Although I am an engineer, the interest in history was always there.

And so I decided to apply for the master's in history in the University of

Rochester. We are two different generations... [Gilberto] Studying at the same time...

[Marcia] at the same time in the same Institute. [Math teacher] "If you apply the divergence test and the limit ends up..."

[Giuliano] Anything I can gain, it's like a positive sign. I just do like an intensive

physical therapy training, like for walking and

training for balance and standing. I do all these different things to

help me reconnect the neurons. I have faith that

one day I will probably walk again.

[MANU CRIES]

[Ceci] I have first-hand experience,

we always end up disapointed,

always, every time,

there's no avoiding it!

Remember Nelson? He was what?

The nine-hundredth time I told myself it wasn't worth it.

I can't even complain

hence why I stopped doing so.

Life is tough, my friend.

And let me tell you, I keep trying,

every time I say I'm gonna stop but I never actually do,

so every week I keep at it but let me say this,

men are so tiring, you know?

But the important thing is we keep trying.

And we're still what?

Beautiful, powerful, wonderful, right?

Still rocking it.

Because we're too young to suffer.

Cinnamon candy?

You know, this reminds me so much of our childhood.

I can't see one without eating.

There's some more in living room if you'd like.

Feel free to get some whenever.

Look who showed up! Our sunshine!

Come, come! Look who's here!

Isn't she huge, Manu?

Say hi to Manu.

[Vivi] Hi.

[Manu] Hi.

[Ceci] Do you remember her? Your mom's friend from childhood,

lived in the same block as us, was our mascot.

Your head is always in the clouds so I doubt you'll remember her.

[Vivi] Cool, well... Welcome!

[Ceci] So, Manu is gonna stay with us for a few days days, right Manu?

Just a few days.

She had a small problem with her husband,

nothing major, just an adult problem.

Everything is alright but we decided

she'll stay here for a few days, sharing your room.

Don't worry about it, we have an extra matress for you,

it's no problem.

There's enough room, no worries.

[Manu] Ceci, there's no need for that, I'll sleep on the couch.

I'm not staying for long.

[Ceci] The sofa?! No.

Vivi won't mind, will you, Vivi?

Right, Vivi?

[VIVI AGREES]

[Ceci] See! It's settled!

Tidy up in there for me,

I'll bring the mattress over in a bit!

[BEDROOM DOOR CLOSES]

She's always like that,

the silent type.

Sometimes it is not easy, I'll tell you that.

And I worry, you know?

When she first came to me...

right after the... the accident.

We had to learn how to live again.

Suddenly it was just the two of us!

And I had to work hard to make ends meet.

Without Joyce...

All alone...

Losing your family...

We think...

Eventually you get used to it but I don't think it's that easy for her.

I feel like shaking her sometimes.

The important thing is you're here now.

And it'll be great for Vivi,

because she needs a friend like you.

She's always in her room,

studying or doing whatever it is she does all day in there.

Stays in there all day, all night.

Teenagers, am I right?

Oh wow, how time flies, huh?

Yeah...

But time heals all wounds.

[MELANCHOLIC MUSIC]

But don't you worry.

This is your home too,

and you're more than welcome here,

stay for as long as you need.

I'll go fix your bed, get the mattress.

I'll leave you a towel too and you know what?

Go, take a shower, relax!

On that topic, I was watching a video the other day

by this guru about the importance of the water,

but not for drinking, no,

but the water that cleanses us!

[KNOCK AT THE DOOR]

[Vivi] If...

if you don't want...

you don't need to stay here.

No, wait!

You can stay here, it's just...

My aunt, she... she can be a bit too much.

She decides things and we can't even argue.

It's always "do this" and "go there" and "do that".

You know...

[Manu] It's true, she was always like that.

Since we were little.

She did that to Joyce all the time.

Always telling her what to do and-

[VIVI AGREES]

[Manu] Sorry.

[Vivi] It's okay.

[Vivi] We don't need to talk, okay?

[MUSIC: RELEASED - ROYAL NATURE]

[Vivi] I mean...

We can talk.

But only if you want to.

Determination [Mod de Undertale para Doom] - Duration: 11:42.

This is the second Undertale's mod made by RiboZurai that I knew. The first is the great sans.

As with sans., things get a lot easier with Determination, at least in certain situations.

Although the HUD counts combo, experience and levels, these don't influence the game at all, nor the

numbers displayed on the screen when you kill with the knife. This is just to simulate Undertale.

Blasting that golden energy is a delight. It doesn't spend much and is quite satisfactory when it hits.

Like the knife, this energy is totally stealthy.

However, in narrow places, it can let you down.

When you kill all monsters on a map, a message "But nobody came." is displayed with a quite

sinister song as BGM. that's just what happens.

You can combine Determination with a some monster mods. Now, I'm with the Kriegsland Enemies

Pack, the monsters only version of the Wolfenstein's PWAD from GAA1992 and YukesVonFaust.

Note that there is available weapon or ammunition to collect.

I'll have to find a way to get this prick sideways.

It is also compatible with gore mods and with Toriel.

In order to show the knife's power, I loaded Big Chungus Arena, the Aquarius199's joke WAD that puts you

against a giant and fat rabbit with 20000 health points (25000 in UV).

These two mods together mess the HUD up, but its playable anyway.

On maps where you don't get too exposed to enemy shots, specially hitscan or the Arch-Vile's fire

I think you can relaxed get through with Determination.

Let's see the laughter. It is used with the reload key and makes you immortal for a few seconds.

The laughter consumes a lot of stamina, this little green heart that recovers alone.

Now, I went to take a look at the new Consecrated map version, made by Tyrant120 on ObHack and modified

further by hand, to see if the level combines with Determination.

So, it is the Consecrated map with the mod made by my consecrated.

Used version: Determination 1.11

That's the deal. I liked the Determination's idea, even if it doesn't have much more news stuff to

present. The retro style of the used graphics and the sinister mood of the new songs create a

quite peculiar and unique atmosphere, and, although the gameplay allows it to be played more

relaxed, it isn't something free of challenges. Not at all.

Now, I'm going over there at the bakery to buy two loose Derby and a six hundred coke bottle.

As always, you can get morei nformation and mods' downloads in the video's description. Cheers!

How to Green Screen iMovie | Special Effects Keynote 🖥 - Duration: 10:30.

Hello and welcome to the computer lab so in this video I'm going to show you how

to use green screen special effects using inbuilt free programs keynote and

iMovie on your Mac ok so let's get started open keynote up and from the

themes that we have the options for we can have a pick the black or white one

it doesn't really matter because we are going to change the colour of it in a

minute so I'm going to choose the white one and we then need to delete the two

sections out in the middle I'm just reducing it down to 75% there

just so you can see the section that we're working off for this particular

video so delete the two bits of predefined text out just by clicking on

it and it's in a Delete key and now we need to decide on what size we are going

to use now my video that I'm going to overlay this on to is 1920 by 1080 HD

video so I'm going to make my piece of work area exactly the same size if you

want to change yours you can click on the document in the top right hand

corner you'll notice my I'm currently set on widescreen so if I leave it on

widescreen and then click on custom size you will see the size that it is defined

at the moment which is 1920 by 1080 so if you want to change that size for

example if well to run off this standard size if I click on standard and then go

to custom it will show me the standard size which is 1024 by 768

so I'll cancel out so you can let's set a specific video size overlay in there

it's best to try and get this size how you want it so you can get a scale of

where the item that you're going to put into the video where it's gonna sit

within your video frame okay so I'm happy with the 1920 wide by 1080 high so

now I need to find a image that I can use you might already have one that you

cut out or pre-clear out or a photo or you've taken or a low we're going to use

and I'm just going to do a quick search on the internet for a free PNG that I

can use so I'm using a PNG because they have a transparent background so I was

going to look for so it says coffee time with PNG at the end

of it that's the file format that I want click on Google search and then also go

and click on images so searching within the images database and also because I'm

using this on the video its usage rights need to be able to be open so all these

ones that is showing that moment these are somebody's property so if we click

on tools make sure that we click on usage rights for this particular video

labeled for reuse with modification so I want to reuse it obviously to create

this video as a couple in here and I think we'll probably go for that one

let's write the top of the list the post-it note and yellow looks about

right size 720 x 720 so it's clear enough and I can tell by the checkered

background that this is a PNG so right click and then save image as see where

it's going to save it's gonna save it into pictures I'll just get rid of this

bit at the end and just make sure it just says coffee just so I can see it in

my Finder window - pictures save as PNG click on save if it's a download and

then minimize that window okay so now I need to drag that into my work area so

open finder back up find out where you have saved it click on pictures in my

case and then I'm gonna drag this PNG on to my work area like so they can resize

this and put it exactly way well and this is why it's quite important why I

got that 1920 by 1080 in my case because that's the video size I'm going to

overlay this on so I have a rough idea of what it's going to look the video

that I have done as a coffee cup steaming on the right hand side so I'm

just working on this logo on the left hand side and make sure it's about the

right size we just see in a minute when I overlay this onto the green screen and

the video that I'm going to put it on so the next thing is to animate the PNG

that we've just put onto our work area so up to the top right hand corner onto

the top right hand corner sorry click on animate we have a couple of options

there building action and build out so the one I'm going to work on first is

the buildings this is the thing that's gonna happen first so we have lots of

different options in keynote and different animations we have moving you

can preview by clicking on a little preview icon and you can preview one of

the other ones for example and see if I want little like once you found one it

just actually click on the actual action itself and you can change what

you want it to do so for example this one bounces once it's finished the movie

click on preview see it bounce at the end of its left to right movement come

up without limits as it is and I'll click on action so this is the middle

action that's going to perform so again I've got a couple of options in here

this the once it's actually done its first this is the second thing it's

going to do so you can see as I preview on each one of these it does different

things I'll just try and find and it looks like it's appropriate maybe the

jiggle that'll do is I think for this video at least we can see it's doing

something so you see it's jiggling and the duration it's jiggling for is a 1 a

second now I want it a bit longer I think just so it can get a good

appreciation of the effect so maybe up that to say 4 seconds click on preview

so now it jiggles for the 4 second period so I've got me build in which is

coming in left to right it jiggles in the middle so now I want it to how I'm

going to finish it I couldn't leave it as it is now but I'll put a third effect

in as well maybe a confetti now think there's crumbles quite a good one so go

a crumble click on crumble and that's the third effect so I've got

three different fingers going on there I'm building in left to right I do a

jiggle and then it crumbles on my third item so on the order you can see that

that one's in this third place but I need to now build the order to make sure

they all complete and all do the actual action one after another so I can

drag these in the build order so if I've got a complex action going on I can

change these by left clicking on the item I want and then dragging it into a

different position so for example if I wanted the dissolve to happen second I

could drag that into that position I don't in my case I want it to happen as

I've done it but I also want them to automatically do their actions so on the

second item I want to that's happened after the first thing is finished and

then for the third one I want that to happen after the second finish finish so

now they're all joined up I can click on preview shows the icon coming in does a

jiggle and then it should crumble away the only thing left to do in keynote is

to give our background a green screen so we need to go up to the top right hand corner again

click on format and where it says background we then need to click on the

little box to the right which will allow us to pick our color we can pick green

or a blue or what either will work once we open this in iMovie so I'm just going to

pick green because everybody knows about green screens and once we're happy with

that the green is in position we can then export this file so click on file

export to I want to export it to a movie and make sure the resolution is set to

the size that you're working with so I'm going to using at 1080p as I explained

it at the beginning the video everything else looks good I can click on it next

this will export this as a small mpeg-4 video which I can then add it to iMovie

so just going to give it a name so I can find it again in a second so coffee logo

or it's saving into movies click on export ok so it is now exporting at the

movie then get rid of that one now I can get rid of these in fact no I'll leave

finder there for a second so now open iMovie up now I've already put a file in

iMove and called it green screen and it's like I say

it's a video of a cup of coffee it's a free video downloaded off the internet

that is labeled for reuse so I just wanted something with a bit of movement

in okay so I've got the cup of coffee here like so it's steaming stationary

camera but with a steaming cup of coffee so I need to add the file so I'll just

drag this onto my timeline first so there we go that's the video playing as it

is at the moment and I want my action for my coffee post-it note to come in

from left to right so we'll stop that go back to the beginning and then we need

to open our Finder window up find the picture that we have just exported our

mpeg-4 movie so I'll drag that onto our iMovie library minimize finder the window

for now we can see there there's our small movie the clip that we created so

I left click onto that and then drag it onto the top of my video file you'll notice

obviously the green screen is still there at the moment that's even that's

because it's on top of the coffee video so I need to get rid of the green screen

so just pause that so make sure that you have the green screen clip highlighted

indicated with a yellow border go to the top menu in iMovie click on the video

overlay settings box and then you've got another submenu with a couple of options

in we want green and blue screen and you can see straight away that removes the

green screen element of the clip and it leaves our post-it know so I'll just hit

play now and we should see the post-it note coming from the side do is jiggle

and then it is all the way so that's how to create an animation using keynote on

your Apple Mac and also how to create a green screen effect in iMovie using the

animation from keynote if you like the video please do subscribe to my channel

Orion CTV-1156 Nárcisz: 4. rész - Proci panel elkó csere (with subtitles) - Duration: 4:28.

Hello everyone and welcome to my Youtube channel.

On the screen you can see the Orion CTV-1156 color tv's remote control receiver and EEPROM unit.

This is the so-called CPU board. It is equipped with a SAA1293 chip and a MDA2061/MDA2062 EEPROM.

This is the SAA1293 chip what interprets the commands received by the IR sensor module (not shown here).

If you take a look at this chip, you can see that it was manufactured by ITT in Germany. In West-Germany. Well, this is strange. Why? Let me tell you...

This tv was manufactured in Hungary, behind the iron curtain, in 1987. Two years before the fall of the iron curtain. How did this part get here?

Below this chip you can see the MDA2061/MDA2062 EEPROM unit, what stores all the channel-related settings. Also manufactured by ITT.

What kind of data does it store? Stuff like volume level, brightness level contrast level, color saturation etc. And the so-called option-codes (more about this later).

But let's get back in time for a second, back to 1987, before the iron curtain went down. It was communism here, and in the Warsaw Pact countries.

I assume that you have heard about the so-called CoCom list. It in relation with an international agreement, what stated that no communist country was allowed to import modern western technology.

But somehow these parts made it here, and not only the Orion tv factory built these into their sets, but Videoton at Székesfehérvár did the same with the Videoton Infra Color tv series.

These were the last few years of the Hungarian communist era: with western parts, Commodore 16 computers and Coca Cola. The west was banging on the door.

But let's stop here. I don't want to start a history lesson, I only wanted to talk about this board what you can see on the screen.

In the previous videos I talked about this damage on the board edge. Some PCB traces were cut so I had to connect the cut traces with small gauge wires.

It looks ugly but it works fine, so that's okay for me.

There was a shorted capacitor in the EEPROM's power supply line, what caused some trouble. The 27 Volts power supply did not get to the EEPROM's pin number 3...

...so it could not store any new data. The SAA1293 was able to read only the EEPROM. It acted as if it was writing the data, but in reality it did not write a bit.

After I have repaired the power supply line, it works fine, I can store all the settings in the MDA2062 EEPROM. It works as it should.

Now I am even able to set-up the so-called option codes (more about this later).

When I was done with this stage, I started to take a look at the electrolytic capacitors. I was really surprised, because 99% of the capacitors looked great when measured.

The nominal value of the electrolytic caps were the same (or higher) what was stated on their labels. And guess what? The ESR values were within tolerable limits.

I was lucky, because I had to replace only 3 of the capacitors: 22uF/25V, 4.7uF/40V and 220uF/35V.

The former Hungarian capacitors factory named Mechanikai Művek (Mechanical Works) created excellent quality parts back then in the late 1980s.

These caps were manufactured in 1987. It was 32 years ago. That's a long trip back in time.

For example let's take a look at this capacitor. Its nominal value is 4.7uF/40V. It was manufactured in 1987.

When I measured it, the meter's readings were the following: 5.5uF.

So I only had to replace these capacitors...let me show you.

Later I had to replace the big green one too (220uF/35V).

So I will put this boar back into the tv set and fire it up to see what happens after the repair.

I wanted to swap this board for a newer, undamaged board but I could not find any so I have to deal with this one.

Se this board will be put back into the tv soon.

Tomorrow I will receive a new voltage tripler. I will have to replace that one as well since it is getting weaker and weaker.

I can't wait to turn it on again to see the results.

Thank you for watching this video, if you liked it, just hit the SUBSCRIBE button below.

Goodbye everyone.

One family, two generations, three degrees - Duration: 3:26.

QuickJack Screwed Up Real Bad... - Duration: 4:38.

So, you're probably wondering why you're looking at footage of the freeway on a cloudy

morning in LA.

To explain that we have to go back a few months.

See, we have this customer, John, and John had some trouble with his QuickJack.

First, he got the wrong frame.

Then he got another wrong frame and well, I'll just quit while we're behind.

But mistakes happen.

They happen to everyone and yes even at QuickJack we sometimes have a little shipping slipup.

Now, as you can imagine we were feeling a bit embarrassed about the mistake and wanted

to make it right.

So we decided to just bring his QuickJack ourselves.

Oh yeah, that also meant taking it to the other side of the country.

Well here we are.

Hello east coast!

Now, QuickJack isn't exactly carry-on size. Just to be sure that it got there just as it left our warehouse

we decided to ship it via freight truck.

Fork Lift Driver: Would you like to work off the ground or off in the air?

Dave: Off the ground is fine.

And a quick check to make sure everything got here intact.

Everything looks good here.

Time to load up.

Good thing we got a full size SUV.

Dave: Alright, let's do this.

And off we go.

And just a short hour or so drive later, here we are.

First things first, let's get off-loaded and get everything set up.

As I mentioned earlier, John got a couple of mistakes when we first shipped his QuickJack

so this time we definitely wanted to make sure that he had the correct frames.

A right frame, a left frame, both BL-5000SLX models and that's what we have right here.

Set up by yours truly, I made sure we had the right stuff.

Here's a 110 volt power unit to go along with that QuickJack.

Dave: Blocks and blocks and one thing you're going to notice is that is..

Now we pull out the hoses, other accessories and really finish the unboxing.

Tighten up all those fittings, make sure that we have no leaks.

The last thing we want is leaks.

Connect those hoses.

Make sure they're nice and locked.

Good and tight, ready to go.

One of the great things about John is that he had a great selection of cars.

He had 4 cars that we could use all of which were going to be a perfect test to see just

how versatile QuickJack was for him.

So one thing that really brought us out there was the fact that we really wanted to put

our money where our mouth is.

We wanted to show John that the QuickJack would be the exact kind of set-up that he

needed and that he was hoping for when he original placed that order.

Fortunately, we were able to prove just that.

The set-up worked absolutely perfect with all of his vehicles.

We had the opportunity to use all the different accessories and showed him all the different

lifting configurations possible to lift his different vehicles safely and securely.

Plenty of room to work underneath as you can see.

Real stable set-up.

Everything was solid like a rock.

It was really great to be able to experience the QuickJack with all those different vehicles.

I can't stress enough how nice it was to have that different variety and be able to

show how good QuickJack can be how versatile it can be in all different kinds of lifting

configurations.

And with a quick push of the button, everything comes down nice and easy.

Dave: Well, I really do hope that this is the solution

that you were hoping for and that it will serve you well.

John: Oh yeah. It appears to be.

John: I'm glad you guys came out. Made up for all the frustration.

Dave: I'm glad, John. Thanks so much for giving us the opportunity. You really...

John: Yeah

And that's that.

All in all, it was

super great to be out there with John, get him his QuickJack, get it set-up and show

that it was exactly the kind of lift that he needed to get all of his work done.

It worked flawlessly, it got everything done and we couldn't have been happier with the

turn out.

Now just one thing left, get home and get some sleep.

What's Going On With Snapchat - Duration: 3:17.

They made a few kind of missteps

around things like the redesign

not focusing on Android as much as

they should have done,

so there were definitely mistakes made by Snapchat.

But, for sure, you could look at the story of Snapchat

and say, essentially, Facebook may have

ruined this quite-promising company.

So Snapchat is in a little bit of trouble.

Its stock price has fallen substantially

over the last couple of months.

Snap has said it's losing daily active users,

and the worrying indication is

that probably people aren't using Snapchat

as regularly as they used to.

But, you know, it's really difficult in

the current environment to compete against Facebook

'cause it's got loads of money.

It's got the biggest online ad business alongside Google,

and if you're trying to sort of

compete with the two of them,

it's really hard unless you have a lot of money

and you have a lot of luck going your way

in terms of attracting users.

The other disaster that Snapchat had was its redesign.

What made Snapchat really popular with young people

was that it was kind of difficult to understand.

You had to really understand how apps work

in a way that sort of young people really do

and older people find a bit tougher.

Unfortunately, it was a complete disaster.

A lot of the loyal, younger users

and celebrity users of the app,

people like Rihanna quit.

And Kylie Jenner, you know, said on Twitter,

actually, I'm not that keen on opening

the Snapchat app anymore,

and it's probably not really managed

to recover from that disaster.

So, Snapchat has probably not done itself any favors

by doing things like having a really terrible Android app.

The app works much better on iPhone,

and when Android is the most popular

mobile ecosystem in the world,

that's a bit of a problem

if your app for that ecosystem isn't very good.

Then there are also lots of questions about

its CEO and co-founder, Evan Spiegel, who's very young.

Spiegel is still in his 20s which is, you know, insane

to be leading a multi-billion dollar company as he is,

but to do it successfully,

you need to be a really good manager,

and there are some signs that maybe

Spiegel's a little bit secretive.

He doesn't communicate that well with his team,

so there's been a combination of factors

that has probably made life quite difficult

for Snapchat right now.

Facebook tried to buy Snapchat at least once,

possibly twice, over the last few years,

and so to kind of make up for that rejection,

Facebook simply copied a lot of Snapchat's

coolest features and put them into Instagram,

and actually, Instagram stories is

more popular than Snapchat stories.

It's going to be a really tough challenge

to go up against things like TikTok,

the really popular music app.

Snap's sort of reputation has always been about

being cool rather than useful,

and so something like WhatsApp,

which is a sort of Snapchat competitor

in that it's a messaging platform.

It's always gonna be popular because it's really useful.

Unless Snpachat can sort of really show users

that it's useful as well as cool,

it's going to be really tough to get people

back on the app if they've left.

You would be amazed at how long companies can limp along,

even if they appear to be losing users.

I think a really good example is Twitter,

which everyone has been writing off for several years,

but actually sometimes Twitter turns a profit.

It's not doing brilliantly in terms of retaining users,

but it's certainly not going down the toilet.

I feel like Snapchat could perhaps be similar,

and people do see it as an alternative to Facebook,

So they may want to keep that alternative around.

Snapchat could actually last for a very long time,

even if it doesn't change very much,

as long as it does keep rolling out some updates.

It's possible it could go on for

many years into the future.

The Truth About This Spider-Man Villain - Duration: 12:37.

With his dome helmet, purple cloak, and fishnet-covered green bodysuit, Mysterio's an instantly recognizable

supervillain.

But just because you can recognize him on sight doesn't mean you know everything about

the arachnid-hating trickster who's been one of Marvel's most tenacious villains.

Of everyone who's ever worn Mysterio's fishbowl helmet, Quentin Beck — created by Steve

Ditko and Stan Lee — is by far the most well-known.

"Here to save the world from the evils of technology corrupting the human spirit."

"...Are we being punked?"

Originally a stuntman and makeup artist who turned to crime after getting frustrated with

the movie industry, Beck first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #13.

His first step in taking down Spider-Man was to impersonate the masked webhead by using

his technological prowess to mimic Spidey's powers and frame him for various crimes.

With Spider-Man's popularity at an all-time low, Mysterio could swoop in as a hero when

he took down Spider-Man along with keeping the money he'd stolen earlier.

As you'd expect, Spider-Man took down Mysterio and cleared his name, but Mysterio would continue

to pop up over the years, including a role as one of the original members of the Sinister

Six.

However, one of his most interesting roles came in 1980, when Beck was revealed as having

actually appeared way back in the second issue of Amazing Spider-Man, disguised as one of

a crew of aliens in a truly bizarre early story.

This helped to establish what is arguably Mysterio's greatest strength as a character:

he can make any story work with his mastery of illusions… no matter how weird it might

get.

Mysterio's focus is usually less about killing Spider-Man than trying to drive him insane,

a quirk that shows up very early in the character's identity.

In 1965's Amazing Spider-Man #24, Mysterio's dedication to the long con is truly demonstrated

when Dr. Ludwig Rinehart arrives at the Daily Bugle, making a compelling case that Spider-Man

is a hair's breadth away from complete insanity.

Spidey shrugs it off at first, but when he begins to see his arch-villains crawling out

of the walls to attack him before disappearing in smoke, he's a bit more convinced.

He pays Dr. Rinehart a visit to see if he can get some help, but the hallucinations

get so bad that Spider-Man gets one step away from revealing his secret identity.

Fortunately, Daily Bugle boss J. Jonah Jameson bursts in to accuse the not-so-good doctor

of being a fraud.

With his mind clear, Spidey quickly defeats Dr. Rinehart and discovers, as you might expect,

that it's actually Quentin Beck in disguise.

While Beck's plan wasn't successful, it established his modus operandi early on — Mysterio could

never beat Spider-Man in a fair fight, so he uses deception to drive the wall-crawler

to defeat himself.

Mysterio, master of existentialism

Another notable attempt at getting Spidey to crack came in 1992's Web of Spider-Man

#90.

In the issue, Spider-Man finds himself taking on the world-devouring Galactus, and wakes

up afterwards to discover that he's a card-carrying, A-list celebrity who's been enjoying the good

life ever since his brief stint in the wrestling ring against Crusher Hogan — an event that

happened way back in his very first appearance.

Something's amiss on the set of his newest feature film, when some of his toughest villains

attack.

After dispatching Hobgoblin and Venom, Spidey figures out what's really going on.

Mysterio hired Max Shiffman to help him construct an entire alternate life for Spider-Man to

get trapped in.

While the plot is classic Mysterio, the issue is notable for an additional wrinkle that

it provides to Mysterio's character.

While fighting Spider-Man, Mysterio, disguised as Venom, reveals that when his helmet was

cracked during their first fight, it exposed Quentin to the hallucinogenic mists that lets

him control illusions.

With his exposure to the mists, his own grasp on reality was shattered, leaving him unable

to tell illusion from reality.

It's an interesting idea, but it's only occasionally been revisited since.

The Marvel Universe has always been connected.

The very first issue of Amazing Spider-Man has him dropping by to hassle the Fantastic

Four, and Spidey and Daredevil in particular have an especially long bad guy exchange program.

The Kingpin, Daredevil's greatest and most well-known arch-enemy, was originally a Spider-Man

villain, and The Owl, Electro, and, of course, Mysterio have all jumped back and forth between

the heroes.

In "Guardian Devil," a 1998 arc of Daredevil written by filmmaker Kevin Smith and drawn

by future Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada, Daredevil wrestles with the responsibility

of taking care of a child that seems to be either the Messiah or the Anti-Christ.

However, after a quick consultation with Dr. Strange and Mephisto — the actual, literal

Devil in the Marvel Universe — he realizes that he's been drugged and that the baby is

just a baby.

Mysterio, newly diagnosed with lung cancer and an inoperable brain tumor from his years

of getting high off of his own hallucinogenic supply, had enacted a grand revenge scheme

against his second-most hated foe.

Once the trick was revealed, Mysterio was hopeful that Daredevil would kill him.

Once that failed, Mysterio took care of the matter himself, in a death that spelled the

end for Quentin Beck's run as Mysterio… for a while.

"I always did like a good cliffhanger."

While there are other people who have worn the Mysterio mantle in the main Marvel Universe,

also known as Earth-616, there's another version worth mentioning: the Mysterio of the Ultimate

Universe.

While other characters would get a complete top-to-bottom reimagining for Marvel's rebooted

Ultimate comics, the Ultimate version of Mysterio wasn't all that different from the 616 version.

He first showed up in Ultimate Spider-Man Annual #3, and his biggest difference from

his 616 counterpart was that he had a worse costume.

While some would find fault with a fishnet-covered green bodysuit and fishbowl helmet, you can't

argue that it isn't immediately recognizable.

The Ultimate version of Mysterio had none of his predecessor's flair, using only a boring

ghost-like effect over his face as a disguise.

As it turns out, though, there was a reason that the Ultimate Mysterio wasn't all that

different from the 616 version.

In a truly weird plot twist, it was eventually revealed that they weren't actually two characters

at all.

Instead, the Ultimate Mysterio was a ridiculously high-tech android piloted across universes

by the 616 Mysterio in order to… accomplish the same kinds of crimes that he got up to

in his home universe.

No, really.

It happened in Spider-Men, a series where the core universe's Peter Parker traveled

across dimensions to mentor the Ultimate Universe's new Spider-Man, Miles Morales.

If that's all sounding just a bit familiar, it's because the plot was loosely adapted

for 2018's Into the Spider-Verse motion picture, along with a couple of other cross-dimensional

Spider-Man stories.

Spider-Men ended with Mysterio in custody in the Ultimate Universe, leaving the role

of Mysterio to be filled by other, lesser criminal geniuses.

Quentin Beck is the original, but he's not the only Mysterio.

In Amazing Spider-Man #141, Daniel Berkhart appears as a stuntman who took over for Beck,

who had faked his own death at the time.

While it's hard for any villainous replacement to surpass the original, Berkhart was less

notable than most, and never really had a unique spin on the Mysterio identity.

His most well-known stories involved him pretending to be a resurrected Quentin Beck in order

to torment Spider-Man.

When your best-known plot involves pretending to be a more beloved character and generally

succeeding, you're not really going to last long in a comic book universe.

Even when he got title billing in his own miniseries, Spider-Man: The Mysterio Manifesto,

he spent most of the story dressed as an entirely different second-string supervillain: Jack

O'Lantern.

Spooky!

Created by Rachel and Terry Dodson and Kevin Smith in Spider-Man/Black Cat: The Evil That

Men Do, Francis Klum is arguably the worst Mysterio.

"Ah, Spider-Man my nemesis.

You won't catch me this time!"

Unlike others, Klum actually has super-powers: he's a mutant with the ability to teleport,

along with some assorted telepathy and telekinesis.

In a complicated series of events, Klum ended up accidentally getting knocked off a bridge

by Spider-Man, which led to Klum losing part of his leg, and naturally, this led him to

embark on a crusade of vengeance against Spider-Man dressed as one of his old enemies.

His crusade of vengeance didn't last long, though — he was interrupted by both Beck

and Berkhart who were not happy about gimmick infringement.

Even worse for Klum, he was eventually stabbed in the chest by thousands of spiders wearing

the form of a school nurse that's comics, baby!

While Berkhart and Klum popped up to cover for Beck while he was dead, who fought Spider-Man

while Beck was stuck in the Ultimate Universe after the events of Spider-Men?

A brand new character called Mysterion.

Created by David Lopez and Christopher Yost

in Avenging Spider-Man #22 - which was the 23rd issue because... you know what? just forget it.

Comics... am I right? Anyway... Mysterion was…

well, basically the same as previous Mysterios, except not quite as competent.

In the issue, he picks up the costume and gear from Hobgoblin before running afoul of

both the Punisher, who kills supervillains, and the Superior Spider-Man, a Spider-Man

with the soul of Doctor Octopus who also kills supervillains.

Somewhat surprisingly, he actually managed to survive the encounter and popped up a couple

more times in the Marvel Universe — most notably when he took on the unbeatable Squirrel

Girl and all of the Avengers with robot dinosaurs.

Unfortunately, without an actual name or defining features, we're unlikely to see much more

of Mysterion going forward.

Considering how closely his power set aligns with movie magic, you would have expected

Mysterio to make an appearance in a cinematic Spider-Man adaptation long before 2019's Spider-Man:

Far From Home.

As it turns out, he quite nearly did.

Jeffrey Henderson, a storyboard artist who worked with Sam Raimi on the original cinematic

Spider-Man trilogy, revealed that a planned Spider-Man 4 would have included Mysterio,

along with a handful of other Spider-Foes.

Apparently the idea was to run through lower-tier villains like the Shocker, the Prowler, Rhino,

Stilt-Man, and, of course, Mysterio, since they figured they would never be chosen as

the main antagonists of other films.

As for who would portray the master of illusions in the quick cameo, Henderson suggested that

Bruce Campbell, a longtime Sam Raimi collaborator who had made brief cameos in all of the previous

Spider-Man movies, could step beneath the bowl to play Quentin Beck.

It never happened, but it's not hard not to be intrigued by what the scenery-chewing

Campbell could've done with one of Mysterio's many monologues.

"Ah, Romance!

I am French!" "...uh."

It took him a long time to get his big-screen due, but Mysterio finally made the jump to

theaters courtesy of Jake Gyllenhaal's portrayal in 2019's Spider-Man: Far from Home.

In some ways, his long journey to the big screen is a good thing.

With the huge advances in CGI and special effects technology made in the last couple

of decades, there's arguably no better time for a supervillain to harness the lifelike

illusions and movie magic trickery of Mysterio.

Plus, given Gyllenhaal's deeply upsetting portrayal of an amoral psychopath in 2014's

Nightcrawler, it's almost guaranteed that the villain will be just as creepy and unsettling

as his best stories make him out to be.

Here's hoping this latest incarnation of this enduring Marvel character ends up sticking

around for more than a single outing — and signals a future in which the MCU's villains

only get weirder and wilder.

The one change Liverpool can make to banish a recurring problem - Duration: 4:14.

There's something not quite right with Liverpool at the moment.  And it's difficult to put a finger on what exactly it is

The defeat at Red Star Belgrade was a surprise to me but maybe not as much as it was for other people

I'd seen Red Star a few times last season and knew what their strengths would be

People saw they'd conceded 10 goals in their last two Champions League away games and weren't impressed, but Red Star are a completely different team at home and took advantage of that

Maybe the Liverpool players had the 4-0 game at Anfield in their minds and thought the game wouldn't be too difficult

Whatever it was, we just weren't ready. They stuck right into us, and it was almost old-fashioned in the approach

We barely put in a challenge and looked weak in comparison.  And it's not the first time we've started games slowly this season

It is becoming a recurring theme.   When I look at Liverpool's midfield players, I ask myself – when are they at their best?  And the answer is when they're playing football at 100 miles per hour, with and without the ball

I fully understand that as a team you want to evolve and, if possible, you want to expend less energy when winning games

But the energy in our team is so important. It's not only in midfield. Roberto Firmino isn't the player he was last season, for example

We need to get it back as quickly as possible because it's no longer just about keeping pace in the Premier League

Jurgen Klopp on Liverpool's away form in the Champions League. Video Loading Video Unavailable Click to play Tap to play The video will start in 8Cancel Play now  We now have two massive games in the Champions League, and come 2019 we still want to be part of the competition

But it's important fans don't become too downhearted.  The start of the season has been wonderful, and the disappointment from Tuesday is that we probably thought we'd left that kind of performance behind, even if they do appear from time to time for any team

Keep up to date with the latest Liverpool news and rumours here  We just need to crank it up a little bit

It's not as if we're wondering if these players can do it.  They already have done it, so why can't they again? Fulham the ideal Sunday lunchtime menu  Fulham at home is probably the best game Liverpool could have after Tuesday night

The Londoners are a team who seemingly can't defend, want to play their football and simply haven't been able to

That indicates to me they aren't good enough for the Premier League. They have no real physical strength

New Smart Home Products and Features For January 29, 2019 - Duration: 8:46.

Hello Automators! Thanks for tuning in again. It's time to go through all the

latest for the smart home and home automation industry here, give you all

the latest news for these products, so by the end of this you're going to know

what's coming out for your favorite product maker. We're gonna go through

things from Google, Amazon, Phillips Hue down here, and some other makers that are

very important in the industry. So let's get going.

This week I'm starting out with Cortana which might seem a little strange to you

but what Microsoft is doing right now I think is going to impact the big players

in the market in terms of how they approach their own voice assistants. What

Cortana and Microsoft are doing or what's happening right now is they're

moving off to the side they're not going to try and directly compete for overall

voice assistant dominance with Google and Amazon. I think they've realized that

they're a little out of their league here and they're not going to produce

enough devices to keep up with these guys, so they're moving on from that.

Cortana will be in limited devices but what they are doing is creating an app

or a service and integrating it in terms of specific experiences and when you

think about Microsoft, you think about Office, you think about Windows, and you

think about all of that capability. Now what I have on a Windows 10 PC I have

Cortana and I've started to actually use her in specific situations it's

interesting integration but a couple of things that they've done recently that

are really important to you are the ability within the app to set scenes and

essentially run smart home products so you know you're seeing the ability to

now go and create some integration with Cortana on that side great we already

have that in our other devices but for those of you who don't have one of these

devices just want an assistant on a phone you can do that with Cortana now

in the past we saw if this then that integration and that actually opens up a

lot of opportunities on your PC or your laptop but with Windows 10 on it on top

of that what they've actually done is split it out Cortana from

the search bar in Windows 10, or that's coming in the next update. It's expected

in April and it's intended to allow the search bar to go further and we're

really noticing Microsoft paying attention, they're being very sneaky

about how they're dealing with search, I'm very impressed with

how they're kind of eliminating Google and on the flipside Cortana is being

separated to do very, very specific things,

and to give you specific experiences with Cortana. If you haven't already

heard Project Alias is something that's intended to go on Google Homes, the

standard speakers, or some of the Echo products and what it is is a at home

do-it-yourself basically you can print out the cover which looks like a

parasite in you can get a Raspberry Pi yourself programmed and the ability here

is to actually stop those devices from listening until you use your own chosen

Wake word so it gives you the ability to eliminate the Wake word for Google or

Amazon. Arlo has changed their free cloud storage capability with their new

cameras to a paid service. Now what I'll tell you is you still get a trial year

they say with that cloud storage service and the other difference from you know

makers like Nest is they do have a local storage option where you do have an SD

card capability here on some of these new cameras, but they have made this

shift away from totally free storage. You get a year but after that you've got to

pay and it is per camera around $60 for a year. We've seen a number of things

coming from Ikea they had the tradfri system here that that have the smart

lights on it and they're moving in different directions with that system

including some new smart blinds that they're putting out which i think is a

really good implementation for them and for there's whole suite of products but

what they're continuing to do is develop smarter relationships I think with other

companies and Sonos is their latest so the Symfonisk set of speakers

essentially that will be integrated with different IKEA furnishings as well as

being standalone speakers sold in IKEA stores with really obviously powerful

sound from Sonos in the ability I think in the future to integrate with voice

assistants. Philips was at CES 2019 and we didn't talk about them a lot here on

the channel but they did expand their outdoor lineup actually of products they

announced three new fixtures and the ability to include an outdoor motion

sensor, that's a relatively good choice if you

already have a Philips Hue system in terms of a security option and with the ability

to trigger on lights through a number of different means you could go ahead and

trigger on your outdoor lights as you see fit, so some good new products from

Philips. Abode is a smart home security system, essentially a bunch of different

sensors, some very different sensors, so I I suggest you actually check them out,

very interesting, but they are getting HomeKit integration, and they will put

out a new hub with new kits here in kind of mid 2019. Now the sensors that I

was talking about just to give you an example to have a vibration glass sensor

so not necessarily somebody breaking it but they sense vibration so that could

mean a lot of different things, you could do a lot of different things. Lots of

people have an existing PetCube. there are two new products that were released

here recently the PetCube Bites and the PetCube Play - both of those have

additional integration so what's happened is they've actually put

Amazon's voice assistant on board as well as a speaker, so you can play music

through these little PetCube devices so really turning these pet related

technology into something more usable in general in your home not just a pet

monitoring solution smart home security speaking of the head topic if you

haven't already heard nest had a number of different of their customers have

their accounts essentially hacked is what was the statement in the media and

I'll talk about that in a minute but you know their accounts were hacked

and then there were fake warnings of a nuclear missile attack being broadcast

on one of them so this was obviously a big story in the media here and fur nest

a really concerning thing now what I want to tell you about this situation is

hacked doesn't quite mminton and I'm really frustrated that media continues

to use this word hack you're not hacked when your passwords and your ability to

login or your account information is already out on the

internet so if you use the same password and the same account basically user name

or email address and that gets stolen in another service and you don't upgrade

your home security this is your problem not nests problem a couple more things

to talk about Apple has put out a new patent that is very interesting so you

know everyone who kind of raises their phone up to take a picture you know that

you're going to take a picture and sodas Apple so as you do that action and you

raise it to the right level there new patent suggests and this will be on the

2019 versions of iPhones they are saying basically as you raise it the camera

application will open up so some automation there in terms of their

functions on their phone now another thing the Amazon echo wall clock or the

Amazon Amazon echo clock here has not had a great rollout and amazon has

actually pulled sales of that here and has paused everything until they get

some connectivity issues fixed up so that's all I have today from the smart

home home automation side of news here hopefully you have a lot of great new

information to go and apply to your smart home now of course on the channel

we want to have you subscribe so here come the links so go ahead click those

or watch some more of our content here coming at the end of the video so thanks

for watching everyone and we'll see you next time

you

Shaq started beefing with Dwight Howard over who deserved the title of Superman...and never stopped - Duration: 16:09.

- Shaquille O'Neal and Dwight Howard have a ton in common.

Like a truly eerie amount.

Same draft situation.

Same mentor.

Same career decisions.

Feuds.

Free throw problems.

And crucially the same cultural references.

Those similarities drew a lot of mockery from Shaq

and as Dwight's career has underperformed

its initial promise, that distinction has drawn a lot

of mockery from Shaq, too.

Let's start in the summer of 2004.

The Orlando Magic, after years of playoff disappointment,

finally crumbled for real.

The past season had been a train wreck.

They fully lost veteran star, Grant Hill,

to scary medical problems.

Fired Coach Doc Rivers after a horrible start,

and won just 21 games while young superstar, Tracy McGrady,

became more and more disgruntled.

The silver lining to that dreadful year

was winning the draft lottery.

With the first pick, Orlando took a risk

selecting high school big man, Dwight Howard

over more established NCAA champion center, Emeka Okafor.

But what next?

Despite Howard begging him to stay, T-Mac wanted out.

The Magic had to make a trade,

and there was one obvious potential partner, the L.A. Lakers

who were dealing with a similar issue.

Shaquille O'Neal had demanded a trade

after eight wild but successful years

in L.A. concluded with a lot of drama.

Shaq, of course, was drafted by Orlando in 1992.

Became an all star rookie there.

Developed into a true superstar under Coach Brian Hill

and even reached a finals before bolting to L.A. in '96.

An Orlando return was enticing to both parties

and an idea of a Dwight Shaq tandem was fascinating,

but the trade match just wasn't right,

especially since Shaq was most attracted

to the idea of playing with McGrady.

In the end, McGrady got dealt to the Rockets

for a huge package centered around Steve Francis.

A couple weeks later, Shaq landed 200 miles away in Miami.

Over in Orlando, Dwight's first couple seasons

didn't go quite like Shaq's had.

For one thing, the Magic didn't immediately treat him

as a centerpiece or even as a center.

The 6'10ish Howard played power forward

alongside the likes of Tony Battie and Kelvin Cato.

He struggled to get touches among scorers like Francis

and Hill and Hedo Turkoglu.

That was the big story around Dwight's first ever game

against O'Neal and the Heat.

Shaq dominated then offered some advice to a young Dwight,

who was sad he wasn't getting the ball, but Brian Hill,

the same guy who had coached Shaq in Orlando,

took over Howard's sophomore year

and gradually realized Dwight should play center.

He was a little short for the position

but rapidly adding strength.

By the time the Heat and Magic met

for back to back games in '06,

Dwight matched up with Shaq quite a bit with mixed results.

The Heat dominated those games

and ended that year winning Shaq his fourth ring,

but Howard was beginning to break out and by the next season

the Magic knew they had another star center on their hands.

With Francis gone now and more chances to score,

Dwight played his way to his first all star selection in '07

although not the starting center spot.

That went to Shaq, even though he barely played that year

because of injury.

The two of them had a fun little dance off

on the practice floor in Vegas.

Then Dwight played wonderfully in the main event.

No beef detected.

Not yet.

If '06-'07 wasn't Dwight's breakout season,

then the next one definitely was.

Orlando hired Shaq's old coach from Miami, Stan Van Gundy,

and gave Rashard Lewis a huge contract

to serve as Dwight's costar.

Dwight improved, the Magic improved,

and battles against Shaq's Heat

started to tip the other way.

Shaq was slowing down big time at this point,

increasingly prone to injuries, foul trouble,

and clashes with Coach Pat Riley.

It got bad enough that in February of 2008,

Miami pulled the plug and traded Shaq to the Suns.

Dwight, like everyone else, was stunned,

but he pointed out that Shaq was Superman

and Superman would make it work in Phoenix,

and Dwight didn't choose that honorific at random.

Of all of Shaq's self-cultivated nicknames,

Superman might be his favorite.

He has a Superman tattoo.

He surrounds himself with Superman stuff.

The dude even starred in a movie

based on one DC Comics' Superman offshoot characters.

Dwight clearly was well aware of this nickname,

which made all star weekend later that month interesting.

It was a big weekend for Dwight.

He'd been voted into the eastern conference

starting center spot vacated when Shaq got traded west.

In fact, for the first time in his career,

Shaq wasn't an all star at all,

and Dwight kind of took over as the headliner of the weekend,

though he missed Shaq's presence there.

Howard also participated in the dunk contest

and as part of the presentation

teased the possibility of a Superman costume

and separately considered a Shaq tribute.

Dwight went the Superman route,

donning a cape and a big ole S

for the soaring dunk that won the contest,

but it wasn't really regarded as a tribute to Shaq.

Dwight was introduced as Superman

at the main event the next night

and sort of apologized to the absent Shaq

for you know infringing on his persona.

Shaq was not into it, scoffing at Dwight claiming the title

without having won anything greater than a dunk contest.

Let's just pause quickly to acknowledge

that grown men quarreling over who gets to cosplay

at a comic book career is extremely dumb

and this is gonna get dumber.

But Shaq's actual point was interesting

and echoes throughout a lot of what's to come.

Shaq is very keen on the mythology of the big man.

The true centers.

He grew up idolizing Kareem and when he got to the league,

he felt like he had to earn the respect

of greats like Hakeem and Patrick.

Those centers of the 90s put the young upstart O'Neal

through a lot before he emerged as an elite big man.

He went through epic playoff battles

and even had some beef along the way.

Shaq earned his legendary status

because he put up unbelievable numbers

against legendary bigs for teams that won it all.

It's not like Shaq was quiet

and humble before he proved himself as a winner,

but especially with the benefit of hindsight,

Shaq feels that the more superficial embellishments

of super stardom have to be earned.

So yeah.

Dwight winning a dunk contest and leading Orlando

to one playoff series win later in '08

wasn't enough for O'Neal.

The big guy practically spat at the suggestion

that Dwight might be the next Shaq

or even that such a thing was possible.

Healthy and productive again in Phoenix,

Shaq returned to the 2009 all star game

and went out of his way to embarrass Dwight,

who just laughed along with it

after having leaned even heavier on the Superman stuff

in the dunk contest the night before.

When they finally met again in a real game,

Shaq showed up wearing a Superman tee shirt

and called out young Dwight's lack of championships.

In an earlier Sports Illustrated interview,

he belittled Dwight as a big guy just like any other.

A guy who could run and jump but didn't have championships.

A copycat whose early career was just a cheap replica

of all the things O'Neal did when he was in Orlando.

Dwight sounded genuinely hurt.

He wanted guidance from Shaq not disparagement.

Anyway, the younger of the two Superman

held his own that night and Orlando got the win.

Shaq performed admirably for a guy about to turn 37,

but the highlight of his evening

was this very un-Shaq like flop.

That flop ignited a mini beef between Shaq

and his old coach, Van Gundy.

Howard mostly tried to stay out of it,

but did seem to get a kick out

of saying he respected his elders.

The Magic finished the '09 season with 59 wins.

Dwight would take home defensive player of the year

and as the playoffs approached,

Sports Illustrated dropped a big cover story on Howard

that opened with an anecdote

about Shaq calling him an imposter.

That article went on to distinguish Howard as sillier

and smilier than the stereotypical,

badass big man Shaq epitomizes,

but it did point out that the Superman stuff

wasn't the only way Howard seemed to mimic Shaq.

He also for instance was prone

to celebrating tough finishes by staring at his hand.

Dwight also literally impersonated Shaq, so there's that.

- Hello, it's Shaquille O'Neal.

I can't shoot free throws but I can dunk the ball.

- [Narrator] But silly or not, copycat or not,

Dwight was threatening to invalidate

Shaq's main talking point.

He was winning.

Howard's Magic cruised through the first two rounds

of the playoffs then upset Lebron James and the Cavs

to face Shaq's old pals for the championship.

O'Neal handled the occasion like any adult would

by (beep) posting on Twitter the night

of game one of the finals.

A Woj column a few days later went in on Shaq.

It had Kareem himself questioning the maturity

of a 37 year old,

Howard once again expressing his dismay

in the middle of the finals,

and anonymous sources proclaiming

Shaq wanted the Magic to get swept in the finals

just like his own '95 Magic got swept

just so Dwight couldn't claim anything over him.

Orlando did get one win in an other wise

lopsided finals defeat so take that Shaq I guess.

The following season Shaq joined Lebron in Cleveland

and fully embraced the role of anti Dwight villain.

His vendetta had only been inflamed

by Dwight going commercial with the Superman persona.

- You're really lucky Superman was so close by.

- In the few minutes Shaq played

during the first Cleveland Orlando match up,

he insisted on guarding Dwight one on one,

courting the boos of an Orlando crowd

that once loved him and actually helping push Dwight

into foul trouble as the Cavs got the win.

O'Neal played Howard well again later that season,

getting physical at every opportunity,

then taunting him after the game

about who the real Superman was,

which once again hurt Dwight's feelings

and invited some thoughtful critique from Lebron.

Shaq's main quibble had shifted.

He was up in arms that Dwight wouldn't always

guard him one on one,

that the Magic sent double teams at him,

whereas he'd spent his youth guarding guys

like Hakeem and Ewing straight up.

Lebron once again was like eh he's just grumpy

about the Superman stuff which...yeah.

Later in February, we were treated to an exciting duel

in which Shaq and Dwight went directly at each other,

each having some big moments in

what ended up being a Magic win.

The Celtics broke up a potential Cavs Magic playoff rematch

on their way to the 2010 finals.

So Shaq, desperate for one last ring,

spent his next and final season in Boston.

He was too old and beat up at this point

to hang with younger players.

Dwight toppled him in their first match up,

and in their final match up dropped 33 points

on a flurry of dunks, post moves, and face up buckets.

Shaq said farewell at the end of that season

using his retirement press conference

to hammer home the Superman and ring stuff,

but he also said the beef was all marketing,

and gave Howard some credit as a great big man,

and then Shaq faded into the sunset,

enjoying his post playing career quietly

and out of the public eye.

Oh, no sorry.

I'm actually getting word that Shaq

immediately took a job with TNT

and spent the rest of the decade criticizing Dwight.

In 2012, when Dwight was at his all star peak,

Shaq was calling L.A.'s Andrew Bynum the superior player.

- Andrew Bynum is a true big man.

Back you down, jump hook.

Dwight Howard has one or two moves on the block.

- [Narrator] Dwight was just tired of Shaq at this point.

Disappointed that a dude done playing was still talking.

- You know I would suggest he just sit down

and get on with his life.

He don't play no more so what's the point of talking trash.

- [Narrator] Dwight hasn't stopped doing impressions though.

- Everyday is a blessing in itself.

That's Shaq.

That's Shaq.

- [Narrator] That regular season ended

with the super awkward falling out

between Howard and Van Gundy

that would end with the coach getting fired.

- You know when it comes out that you know,

one of the highest profile guys in the league

has asked for his coach to be fired

I mean it's gonna be a story.

- Yeah, what's our main concern right now?

- [Narrator] Another eerie parallel between Dwight and Shaq.

Even with Van Gundy gone Dwight made another

Shaq like move demanding a trade

and eventually joining Kobe and the Lakers,

while the Magic figured out a way to move on without him.

Shaq said Dwight had big shoes to fill

and found yet another big man critique to harp on,

that Dwight was a pick and roll player,

not a true old school center like say a Lopez twin.

- Dwight Howard, who's a pick and roll player,

you know some people say he's the best,

but me being an old school big man,

I'ma go with Robin Lopez and Andrew Bynum.

- [Narrator] And if he wasn't talking

about Dwight he was rapping.

- Like I said before, you will get devoured,

but don't you ever call me Dwight Howard.

- [Narrator] Dwight was still very sick of all of this.

- Just sit back and relax.

You know you did your, your time is up.

- [Narrator] But something interesting

and unexpected was happening.

Dwight clashed with Kobe and not in the "we hate each other

but we're still winning" way that Shaq did.

Howard's performance flagged.

The Lakers never really came together under Mike D'Antoni

and they flamed out early in the playoffs.

That whole season Shaq insisted his haranguing

of Dwight was meant to motivate,

to inspire him with anger the same way

Shaq's elders had gotten him going.

- I was taught to play with ferocity.

I need to be upset, you know.

Something has to be said in an article

on TV about me for me to respond.

- [Narrator] But Dwight I think correctly identified

that his personality wasn't like Shaq's nor was his style

nor was the environment in which he played.

He wanted heartfelt advice

from Shaq not motivational prodding,

but he received nothing of the sort,

not even when Shaq came to L.A. for his jersey retirement.

Shaq rejected the idea of connecting with Dwight

and continued sniping from afar.

That continued as Howard's career slumped further.

Dwight moved onto the Rockets.

Shaq criticized him for it still insisting he was trying

to motivate the big guy not pick on him,

but I don't know this just feels like picking on him.

In early 2016, a struggling Dwight hired Shaq's agent,

which led to rumors the big guys would work together

on rehabilitating Howard's reputation,

but when Dwight visited the TNT studio

for a pretty intimate, vulnerable interview,

Shaq was elsewhere, [beep] posting on Twitter.

The beef has only gotten dumber in the years since

during which Howard has bounced from team to team,

alternating injuries with okayish performance.

Dwight is still impersonating Shaq like really a lot.

- Well you gotta get his name right, Charles.

- [Narrator] Shaq is still rapping about Dwight.

♪ Rags man who calls himself Superman ♪

♪ Still ain't got no rings ♪

- [Narrator] And when Dwight got roasted

on an episode of Wild 'N Out, Shaq jumped all over it,

igniting a very stupid back and forth.

When Dwight started the '18-'19 season

with an injured butt, Shaq absolutely loved it,

and just to add insult to a lot of injury,

he went on to declare Giannis Antetokounmpo

the NBA's new Superman.

- I'm denouncing my Superman-ship

and I'm giving it to Greek Freak.

- And that's basically where the beef sits

after well over a decade of shifting goal posts.

Dwight Howard first drew Shaq's ire

by imitating some of what made Shaq Shaq.

The fact that Dwight's entrance into the spotlight

coincided with Shaq's demise,

only made the big man more prone to lashing out,

shifting his target with every move Dwight made.

Of course the truth is that despite early appearances,

some of them intentional, Dwight isn't that much like Shaq.

Among other things, he has failed to follow through

on the early promise of his career,

but Shaq hasn't backed off at all.

This is a beef of ego.

The elder found the younger one disrespectful.

The younger player found the older one cruel.

Neither is particularly graceful in making his point,

so we've ended up with a very long,

very public, very stupid beef.

"Draft Beto" Group Tried To Smear Bernie With Shirtless Singing Video - Duration: 5:26.

So for the last day or so, there's been a video going around of Bernie Sanders in the

Soviet Union, drunkenly, shirtless, singing this land is your land with a bunch of also

drunken Soviets in this video. In case you haven't seen it, let's go ahead and take a

look at it. Video seems harmless enough, right? So let's get a couple facts out of the way.

A Bernie Sanders was over there because he was visiting Burlington's sister city, uh,

and I'm not going to pronounce the name of that city because I know I'm going to butcher

it and I told what to do that. But nonetheless, this was an official trip. This was something

he had to do, a good will measure. So it's not like, he was like, hell yeah, let's just

go to Russia and get drunk and sing shirtless songs in a sauna because hell yeah, I'm Bernie

Sanders. That's not what happened. And yes, his wife Jane was with him on this

trip and this is the alleged trip that was his honeymoon or so. All of the Republicans

and democratic centrus tried to tell us back in the 2016 campaign in reality, he had joked

in his memoir that it was a honeymoon, but he was never serious about that. This was

an official trip, something he was required to do and it was a good will mission on behalf

of the city of Burlington and the United States, and honestly, you look at that video was what's

so bad about it? Why? Why is this a horrible thing? Why does this disqualify him from being

president? He had fun once. Oh my God. How horrible is that? But nonetheless, the release

of this video was intended to harm Bernie Sanders should he choose to run for president,

and you know who put it out there, the folks who were the ones pushing this, trying to

show us how horrible he is because he sang off key after drinking and taking your shirt

off. If the draft Beto Movement, one of the main

pushers of this video was a twitter account, a top rope travis run by a man named Travis

Justin, who also happens to be in charge of veteran outreach for the draft Beto movement.

You go to draftBeto.org. Scroll down the page and you're going to see Mr Travis, Justin.

They're top rope travis, and he is the one. His tweet is the one that went viral, spreading

this video, trying to show us how awful Bernie Sanders is for singing a song in the USSR

and American song by Woody Guthrie's. This land is your land. How insane is that? But

it just goes to show you, right? I mean, nothing is as in a a knock us as it seems. This should

be a simple little video. Somebody found it, said, hey, this is kind of cool. Look at this,

right? This is funny. Uh, but no, this is a calculated

coordinated effort by the draft Beto Movement. And it's absolutely disgusting and I don't

care if you support Beto or if you hate Beto. This was a low blow and it's a stupid move

on behalf of the people running this draft Beto movement, and to be honest, if anything,

based on all the comments on twitter, this is actually indira at Bernie Sanders. More

to people here in the United States. They liked it. What they're not going to like is

the fact that the people trying to convince Beto O'rourke to run for president are the

ones who are attempting to use this to smear Bernie Sanders. That's what annoys me about

this. I don't care if any candidate man or woman is on video, drunken, singing, doing

what the hell ever. People do those things. That is a thing that happens. Normal human

beings go out there and have fun. Sometimes we have a little too much to drink, but as

long as nobody gets hurt, everything's okay, right? There's nothing wrong with that, but

these people@thedraftbettermovementofdraftBeto.org tried to weaponize this video in an attempt

to smear Bernie Sanders.

HOW TO DRAW your DRAGON 3 | Drawing Toothless and Light Fury in Procreate - Duration: 7:09.

Have you seen How to draw you dragon 3 yet?

I mean, how to train your dragon 3 of course.

Don't toothless and light fury look cute together?

In this video I'd like to show you how to draw toothless and light fury step by step.

I'll be drawing these dragons in Procreate on an iPad pro

but of course my tips also apply to other digital art software.

We'll start off by drawing two ovals for the heads of toothless and light fury.

I'm using my Basic Flo brush for this, but any sketching brush should be fine.

As you can see these ovals are a bit egg shaped, the oval is more pointy where the nose of the dragons will be.

Next I'll draw these ovals to indicate where the top of the dragons heads are and sketch in the eyes.

I'll also use oval shapes to draw these.. I don't know what to call them.. bumps on their heads?

I sketch in the necks to make it look like toothless and light fury are making a heart shape with their necks.

Let's lower the opacity of this sketch layer and make a new layer on top.

This new layer can be used to refine the sketch and add some more detail.

Merge the two sketch layers by squeezing them together with your fingers.

On a new layer beneath this layer, we'll start painting a background.

I'm using a big airbrush to lay down some blue tones.

On another layer I'll start laying down the base colors of toothless and light fury.

Using one of my custom blenders I blend the base color of toothless, smoothing everything out a bit.

I use the same process when painting the base color of light fury.

I start adding more contrast and colors and blend in between passes. I build up the shape of the dragons.

Let's lower the opacity of the sketch layer. We'll make a new layer on top now, to paint over the sketch and get rid of all the lines.

Let's just merge the layers. This will make blending and refining edges easier.

I can use an eraser to refine the edges of toothless now.

Using the Darken Line brush from my basic Flo brush set, I'll add dark details to the head of toothless.

I use the smudge tool with one of my custom blenders to smooth out the shadow areas.

Using the Lighten Line brush I'll add light details to the dragon's head and I'll use the eraser again to refine the edge some more.

Time to add some spikes to toothless' head.

I'll paint in the shadow first, using my Darken Line brush.

I'll soften these shadows using the smudge tool again.

I'll draw the spikes using the Line brush

Using the Soft Light brush, I'll add some more light to toothless.

I blend some areas a bit by using my Grainy Blender, this adds some subtle texture to the dragon skin.

Let's get started drawing Light Fury next.

I'll grab the Lighten Line brush again and start refining the edges of Light Fury.

I'll also add some subtle, scaly texture.

Next step is to draw in the darker lines using the Darken Line brush.

I'll start drawing the eyes for instance, the nose and a line for the mouth.

I'll switch back to the Lighten Line brush again now, adding more light to Light Fury.

Light Fury could use some more sparkle. I'll grab my Glitter brushes for this.

The Subtle Confetti brush will add some nice subtle sparkle to the skin of Light Fury.

We'll use the Glitter Ribbon brush to add some glitter detail to the eye of Light Fury.

We'll have to turn the brush first though, you can just turn the brush with your fingers here.

With the Subtle Stars brush we'll add some glitter to Toothless as well.

Let's go to the background! I'll duplicate the background layer first

his way I'll have a back up in case I don't like what I'll be doing next. It's a way of saving your progress.

I'll grab the Glitter Streak brush to add some sparkly texture to the background.

And let's experiment with some other glitter brushes as well to add even more sparkles to the background and subtle bokeh lights.

We are almost there! Let's refine the edges of the dragons using the eraser.

This looks better!

Let's duplicate the layer with the dragons (just to have a back up) and use alpha lock on this layer.

Now we can only paint on the dragons and we can't go outside of the 'lines'.

Using the Overlay brush I'll start adding more color variation to the dragons. Like some purple/pinks to Light Fury.

Using a brush set to Color Dodge I'll add some bright highlights to the edges of the dragons.

Time for some final tweaks, I'll use the liquify tool to adjust the head of Light Fury a little bit.

I feel it is a little bit too round.

Be sure to uncheck the alpha lock on the layer though, otherwise you won't be able to use liquify.

Finally let's add a touch of love using my Valentine Brushes.

I'll add some Bokeh Hearts to the background for a subtle touch.

Using the transform tool (that little arrow at the top of your screen) we can turn around these little hearts.

And last but not least, we'll add this 'Stitch Heart' between Toothless and Light Fury.

I hope you enjoyed this How to draw your dragon video!

Have fun drawing Toothless and Light Fury yourself.

Oh and don't forget to give a thumbs up of course, I really appreciate it.

Have a wonderful day and I will see you next time, for the next digital art tutorial!

Poor you, Kadir.

I am living what you are dreaming of.

Kadir, listen! It is not possible for your mother not to love you.

This is my mother.

In which conditions has she been living? Why did she have to give you up? We don't know anything about any of these.

How do you know that she had to, Zeynep? Maybe she did it because she wanted to.

A mother would never leave her child behind willingly.

Faruk...

...could make one do anything.

Mom! Where are you, mom?!

People cannot become a family without being tested with their loved ones.

Mom!

First, you should pass my test.

If you can...

Lionel vs. Nico - Wer ist wer / Übersetzung - Duration: 2:57.

How are you? I'm Lio and he is Nico

and we're here to find out what we have in common

and what our principal differences are. Let's see where to start

Who is lazier?

It's certainly not me. I'm the least laziest person of all

Rather the contrary. I love being active, doing things and moving around

In the morning I stay up really early then I go to the Jam & Roller to practice with the band

and help at the rink. Later I come back home and continue practicing with the band

What? Really? You're are occupied everyday?

Of course and also on the weekend

No but not on saturday. Saturday is for

sleeping, relaxing, getting up very late

Why not? I wake up at 8 am and start into the day

I'm super lazy. On saturday I like to sleep very much

to be with my friends and to watch a lot of movies

I can't believe how you can't enjoy that

Result

Who is more extroverted?

If I stand infront of a camera I'm super extroverted

but if I don't I'm a little bit shyer

I never thought about that. I don't know if I'm extroverted

I don't care speaking infront of an audience or people I don't know

I don't mind talking, getting to know others

at work, at the rink, at a café

If I go out with my friends I'm always the one who fools around the most

So you are super extroverted

Yes. When your best friend is super shy you don't have another choice

He can't even open his mouth infront of a girl

so I'm there to help him

Come on winner

I hope so. That's not as easy as you think

It's just a question of the right attitude but being in a band helps a lot

Result

Who is the bigger prankster?

Okay you know that I'm the biggest prankster. I love to do pranks

I think all day long about which prank I'll do next

I love pranks. When Pedro cooks Simón and me are getting crazy

For example we switch salt with sugar or if someone falls asleep

we paint a beard on him. Nevertheless always with the best intention

When I see that one of them is sad or exhausted

I plan a prank to cheer him up

My friends always molest me or I molest them

Result

Final result - draw

Okay guys. Now you were able to get us to know a little bit better

I hope you liked it. I send you a huge kiss. Bye

A kiss

The Truth About Dreams - Why Even Try? - Motivational Speech and Video - Duration: 2:27.

There's a lot of talk in our culture about dreams, in particular about

achieving our dreams. Well, anyone who has had a dream of any substance has hit a

moment when they have realized that it would be difficult.

Anyone that has moved beyond wishes and hopes to action has confronted the fact

that the line between success and failure is not concrete.

That line is illusive, it's like a ghost. You can fight your whole life to realize

your dream and it is still just one step away, and when you take that step the

line and the threshold of your dreams can evaporate in front of you.

Even now across this great world thousands of people with real dreams are having those

dreams dashed in spite of their best efforts. No matter what anyone tells you,

you can do everything in your power and still fall short. Nothing is for certain

least of all locking down that line between success and failure.

So what then.

Why even try.

Should we not just give up on all of our

dreams and save our energy, our pride. It is in this moment that the perseverance

of character rises to the forefront because one thing is for certain, if you

do not try, if you do not pursue your dreams with utter abandonment, you are

guaranteed to not achieve them. Victory comes to the few, but to all who dedicate

themselves to that higher pursuit of something better, a magic happens within

that is more valuable than catching the ghost and crossing that line into the

halls of victory, and that is the deepening and strengthening of your

character. At the end of the day that is all you really own anyway.

Will I achieve my dreams?

I'm gonna go find out.

Clinton's Classified Emails: When Is a Crime a Crime? - Duration: 7:13.

Hello and welcome, I'm Gina Shakespeare. Today on Declassified, we look into the

Clinton email scandal, plus FBI and DOJ corruption. This story by Epoch Times

contributor Brad Johnson. Brad is a retired CIA senior operations officer

and a former chief of station. He is president of Americans for Intelligence

Reform. Just before we begin please feel free to Like, Comment, Share and Subscribe.

We have seen a growing list of senior officials at the Federal Bureau of

Investigation and Department of Justice being fired or leaving in disgrace. Now,

the New York Times informs us that the FBI began an investigation in May of

2017 looking at whether President Donald Trump was a spy for the Russians. The

accusation was naturally completely devoid of any evidence and so it seems a

safe bet that it was purely political and another stain on the FBI and DOJ.

Even in the face of direct and conclusive proof of political corruption

the FBI and DOJ leadership appear to continue unchallenged since they are

lacking any form of checks and balances. Brad would like to remind everyone of

the classified documents found on former Rep. Anthony Weiner's laptop that were

discovered as part of the dissemination of indecent material to a minor case

against him. Each of those classified documents is illegal to have on a

private laptop at home, period. Intent is completely irrelevant former FBI

director James Comey openly admits the crime took place but not only was it not

investigated as a crime, it was also said to be a crime. The following quote was

taken directly from Comey's July 5th 2016 statement clearing Hillary Clinton from

any wrongdoing with regard to these classified documents: "From the group of

30,000 emails returned to the State Department, 110 emails and 52 email

chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified

information at the time they were sent or received. Eight of those chains

contained information that was top-secret at the time they were sent.

Thirty-six chains contained secret information at the time, and eight contained

confidential information, which is the lowest level of classification."

"Separate from those, about 2,000 additional emails are were 'up-

classified' to make them confidential; the information in those had not been

classified at the time the emails were sent." Two points from this are extremely

important. First: According to Comey, there were at least

2,110 individually classified documents on that laptop that were

discovered by examining approximately 30,000 emails. Each one of those is

individually a crime. No intent or any other qualifications are needed for this

to be illegal; it is a very black-and-white. You have classified

documents at home—that is illegal. Lots of people have gone to jail for exactly

that crime. Second: Something that is never discussed in mainstream media is

the process of how a classified document can end up in someone's personal email.

All classified computer systems are fully closed systems; that is to say

there is no possible way to make a mistake where a classified document gets

sent to a non-classified system like a private email address by accident. Let us

explain how this particular crime was committed. The classified documents were

printed. On each document there was a header and footer that gave the

classifications and other information. Those were cut off or concealed and then

the document was scanned. Once scanned it could be attached to a private email and

sent out to anyone. And they were not marked as classified that way. This is

also highly illegal of course but it is the only way it can realistically be

done under these circumstances. You will notice Clinton never says whether

anything was classified or not. She always states that nothing was marked

'classified' at the time that's a convenient lawyerly answer if one knows

that the headers and footers were all cut off. If you were wondering what it

means to up-classify, just take a classified document; cut the headers and

footers off so it is not marked classified, and then when it is found you

up-classify it by marking it classified again. An additional point worth making

is that it's child's play to see which printers were used to print the

classified documents and who was doing it. The full case is actually even worse.

The FBI agent initially in charge of exploiting the Weiner

laptop told the Office of the Inspector General:

"I have private Hillary Clinton emails, number one, and BlackBerry messages,

number two. I'm telling you that we have potentially 10 times the volume that

Director Comey said we had on the record. Why isn't anybody here?" "And ... I said the

thing that also bothers me is that Comey's testimony is inaccurate." The FBI

agent clearly implies that he believes more than 20,000 classified documents is

a more accurate number and that in his opinion at Comey was lying to the

American public. The FBI eventually moved the laptop to

Quantico for further exploitation. In the IG report documents there eventually

just under 50,000 documents were examined, many of which were duplicates

of the initial 30,000 documents examined. The little secret there has not

been well reported is that according to the IG report the laptop contained

approximately 1,355,980

items or files. As everyone knows each file can contain a large number of

individual documents or emails. So according to the FBI more than 1,300,000

documents and perhaps a much higher number of documents were not

looked at to see if they contained classified information. This whole

situation stinks to the High Heavens of political corruption. The Senate

confirmation hearings for William Barr is the next US Attorney General taskbar

to dig into this specific case into overhaul the DOJ FBI corruption. Probably

more significantly, a federal judge just ordered discovery on the Benghazi

Clinton email scandal this is a devastating loss for the DOJ FBI since

now organizations such as Judicial Watch will be able to submit Freedom of

Information Act requests and demand testimony from everyone involved. If

there is more to learn about Benghazi or more classified documents to be found

among the million plus documents ignored by the FBI

the corruption will be out in the light for all to see. This is going to be one

of the big stories for 2019 and will define the battle lines between liberals

and conservatives. Excellent story there by Brand Johnson,. And just in

closing as you are aware The Epoch Times has the courage to expose fake

news to safeguard the values this country was founded on and to report

important stories not covered by other news outlets.

Therefore we very much rely on your support. Please feel free to share our

content across social media and don't forget to Like, Comment and Subscribe.

From all of us here at Declassified, thank you for watching and we'll see you

very soon.

News24 - Solskjaer makes BIG promise to Manchester United youngster impressing in training | Caught - Duration: 2:42.

Manchester United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has sent a promising message to young midfielder Andreas Pereira after his lack of action for the club

The Brazil international has long looked an exciting prospect at Old Trafford, but has barely played for United this season either under Solskjaer or his predecessor Jose Mourinho

MORE: £45m Hazard replacement ready to snub Man United for Chelsea transfer Still, the Norwegian tactician has sent a message of reassurance to him over his chances, as well as other out-of-favour players like Fred and Scott McTominay

'I think the question is wrong because I don't think it's my challenge to incorporate players

It's about the players being ready when they get a chance and Fred, he's been working hard in training, he's a good lad,' he told the club's official site

'It's the same with Andreas [Pereira] and Scott [McTominay] because, when they get the chance, and they will, we want to see improvement

And we know there's a very, very good player there with Fred, so hopefully he'll adjust to the English game because there's no doubting of his talent

Andreas Pereira could still get a chance at Manchester United  'It's always difficult to come here

One, it's Man United, you're expected to perform straight away. Two, it's an English league that he's not used to, but he's a Brazilian international

Andreas – a Brazilian international, the talent is there and, when they get the chance, the next time I'm sure [they'll take it]

'And it's easier to come into a team that is doing well. I didn't do Andreas, or Scott or Fred any favours when I put them in against Reading in a game that had nine changes

Next time they come in, there might be one or two changes and then we'll see what they're capable of
