Welcome back to the channel!
Today, we'll be talking about SHISEIDO TSUBAKI hair care products!
The reason why we're talking about
it is because it is one of the popular shampoos among our customers,
and two week ago, they released three new series under TSUBAKI.
So, we're going to look at the differences,
which turns out, is not that difficult
to differentiate between them at all!
So what we are looking at here is
the three original series of the TSUBAKI hair care.
If you are a SHISEIDO fan,
you would be most familiar with the brilliant red bottle,
which is featured in promotional materials.
Three different colours represent the different uses they offer to users.
Then there are the three new series,
which at first glance look like a parallel version of the original three,
but boast their own purposes.
Instead of going for three more colours,
SHISEIDO has given them a white design to differentiate
from the original three.
Tsubaki is camellia in Japanese,
and of course the haircare products are named so
because they use camellia oil in the formulation.
Camellia oil is used to give shine to the hair,
and more importantly,
provides moisture and repair to the hair strands.
The original three consist of Extra Moist,
Damage Care and Volume Touch.
Each series contains a shampoo, hair conditioner and treatment.
For the Extra Moist (our red poster child),
it contains Hyaluronic Acid, which gives moisture
to the whole strand of hair including the hair roots.
This is what you want to use if your hair is feeling dried out.
It also has a Camellia Fruit scent.
The white ones belong to Damage Care,
which uses pearl protein and arginine as hair repairing ingredients
that repairs from within the damaged hair.
If your hair is lackluster,
or has suffered much damage from hair colouring,
consider using this series.
It comes in a Floral Green scent.
The purple Volume Touch is made with anti-aging in mind.
The bounce and smoothness of the hair decrease with age,
therefore this series restores those two by giving hair shine and volume.
The Volume Touch uses taurine and polyquaternium-11 for these benefits.
It comes in a Floral Fruity scent.
And what's special about the new series?
Other than using five natural, beauty ingredients in the formulation,
the products are also multi-purpose.
They prevent hair tangling and cut UV exposures,
so on and so forth.
Furthermore, on top of the shampoos, conditioners
and treatments that the Original Three have,
the new series introduces the Hair Water spray.
What's unique thing about this is that
it has a Moisture Adjustment Technology,
which allows hair to absorb moisture when there is a lack of,
and to reject extra moisture when there is too much.
The TSUBAKI Moist may seem to be similar to Extra Moist.
Key differences lie with the treatment,
which includes amino acid derivatives to protect hair from split ends,
and the introduction of the Moist Hair Water.
The TSUBAKI Smooth is aimed at decreasing hair tangles,
thus promoting smooth hair
that allows you to run your fingers through the hair.
The TSUBAKI Volume prevents any concerns of hair flattening,
and helps to hold up certain hairstyles.
When we looked at the official TSUBAKI website,
we see that there is a very strong push for the new series.
We're speculating on this,
although there are still differences between the products,
we're thinking they'll either phase out the Original Three,
or they're gonna get a reformulation!
Thank you for watching,
