Youtube daily report w Apr 15 2018

The 2019 Volkswagen Jetta is a crucial new model for VW, as it works to claw its way

back from the pit of the "Dieselgate" emissions scandal.

While the Golf hatchback is Volkswagen's worldwide sales leader, U.S. buyers have always

preferred the Jetta sedan.

If Americans still like the new Jetta, it will go a long way toward rebuilding VW's

reputation.

But first the Jetta has to take on a well-established group of rival compact cars, such as the Honda

Civic and Toyota Corolla.

The 2019 Jetta was completely redesigned from the ground up.

It now rides on VW's ubiquitous MQB platform, which serves as the foundation for numerous

other models, including the Golf hatchback, Atlas SUV, and the Audi A3 luxury compact.

We were impressed by all of those vehicles, and were eager to see if MQB could work the

same magic on the Jetta.

When the 2019 Jetta hits showrooms in a few weeks, VW will offer five trim levels: S,

SE, R-Line, SEL, and SEL Premium.

The base Jetta S starts at $18,545, but we sampled a full-loaded, $26,945 SEL Premium

model, which includes the full array of available tech features.

Interior and tech The interior might be this car's strongest

asset.

Volkswagen is known for using higher quality interior materials than some of its competitors,

and the 2019 Jetta lives up to that reputation.

However, only top-of-the-line SEL Premium models get real leather upholstery.

The use of sharp angles on everything from the cup holders to the trim pieces surrounding

the gauge cluster and central screen also give the interior an interesting and novel

look.

The optional 10-color ambient mood lighting makes you feel like you're on the set of

a Fast & Furious movie.

The Jetta comes standard with a 6.5-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility,

and conventional analog gauges, but our SEL Premium model sported the optional 8.0-inch

touchscreen infotainment system (which includes navigation) and Volkswagen Digital Cockpit.

The latter replaces the conventional gauges with a 10.25-inch reconfigurable screen.

It's basically a down-market version of VW sibling Audi's Virtual Cockpit.

The optional 10-color ambient mood lighting makes you feel like you're on the set of

a Fast & Furious movie.

Graphics for both the central touchscreen and Digital Cockpit displays are crisp and

easy to read, albeit somewhat plain in design.

That's to be expected, though, because if VW made its version too elaborate, there would

be no need to trade up to Audi's Virtual Cockpit system.

For $18 a month, owners can also subscribe to VW's Car-Net connected services, including

remote vehicle locking and unlocking, remote diagnostics, stolen vehicle locator, first-responder

notifications, and speed and geofencing alerts for teen drivers.

The 2019 Jetta is the first VW model sold in the U.S. to get a BeatsAudio sound system.

The system — available on SEL and SEL Premium models — features a 12-channel, 400-watt

amplifier and nine speakers, and uses them to produce nice, high-quality sound.

The new Jetta is longer, wider, and taller predecessor, with a wheelbase stretched by

1.3 inches to 105.7 inches.

It sports 94.7 cubic feet of total passenger volume, which is less than sedan versions

of the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, and Hyundai Elantra.

The VW's 14.1 cubic feet of trunk space is about average for this class, and a standard

60/40 split-folding rear seat allows for the accommodation of longer items.

But if cargo space is really a priority, you should take a look at the Jetta's Golf hatchback

sibling.

The only driver-assist features that come standard on the 2019 Jetta are a rearview

camera and automatic post-collision braking system, which applies the brakes when a crash

is detected to help prevent a second collision.

The SE trim level adds blind-spot monitoring, while the SEL adds adaptive cruise control

and lane keep assist.

Driving experience The best word to describe the 2019 Volkswagen

Jetta's driving experience is "mature."

The latest Jetta is refined, quiet, and comfortable, but in no way exciting or fun.

It's almost as if VW benchmarked Buick when developing this car.

The sole engine option is a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, which sends 147 horsepower

and 184 pound-feet of torque to the front wheels through six-speed manual or eight-speed

automatic transmissions.

The Jetta offers a decent amount of power for a car in this segment, and more torque

than most of its rivals, but doesn't do anything interesting with them.

On the North Carolina back roads and highways where we drove it, the Jetta was admirably

composed.

Like other MQB-based VWs we've driven, the Jetta boasts a level of refinement one would

normally expect from a luxury car.

The suspension dealt with broken pavement well, while still keeping body roll in check

through corners.

All manner of unpleasant noises were kept at bay.

It's almost as if VW benchmarked Buick when developing this car.

What the Jetta can't do is make driving fun.

Nothing about the driving experience is remarkable or memorable.

It's a good thing the cabin keeps out noise so well, because the engine's groaning would

probably get annoying if you could actually hear it under anything except aggressive throttle

inputs.

Sport mode didn't give the Jetta nay more charisma, although it does turn the interior

mood lighting red, which is kind of cool.

It's not all bad, granted.

The engine's generous torque was perfect for exploiting gaps in traffic, and VW expects

a respectable EPA-rated 34 mpg combined (30 mpg city, 40 mpg highway).

Combined with the comfortable ride and sensory-deprivation-tank interior, the 2019 Jetta should be a very

good commuter car.

That's admittedly all that most customers will want, but we wish VW had brought something

more to the table.

Warranty The 2019 Volkswagen Jetta comes standard with

a six-year, 72,000-mile limited warranty.

While most other automakers offer separate basic and powertrain warranties with different

durations, VW covers both under the same warranty.

The warranty can also be transferred to subsequent owners.

Coverage lasts from the day the car is sold new until it hits six years or 72,000 miles,

so those owners get whatever coverage is left over from the first owner.

How DT would configure this car Volkswagen expects the SE to be the top-selling

2019 Jetta trim level, but most key tech features aren't available on that model.

Consequently, we'd upgrade to the SEL model, which comes standard with the Digital Cockpit

Display, LED headlights, 8.0-inch infotainment system, and adaptive cruise control.

The SEL Premium models adds more convenience features, including leather seats with power

adjustment for the driver, but the SEL seems to offer the most tech for the buck.

Conclusion The 2019 Volkswagen Jetta transcends its economy-car

classification with an upscale interior, refined driving dynamics, and plenty of tech, but

it also comes off as a bit boring.

The Honda Civic and Mazda 3 are less polished than this VW, but they also have more character.

The Jetta is a car for people who think driving is a chore, and don't want to be convinced

otherwise.

What's happening?

Kero-chan?

I used magic... to stop time.

Huh?

With my magical power, it won't last long.

You have to find the cause.

I can't find it. The feeling is coming from all around...

Didn't you said something about animal ears?

Does that bring anything to mind?

It can be anything, no matter how small

I wasn't sure... whether to go to the shrine or the zoo, today.

I was thinking I would've liked to have gone to the zoo, too...

And?

And... the next thing I knew, I was surrounded by grasslands.

And everyone looked like animals.

They started looking more and more like actual animals!

I don't know what to do!

I... I...

Syaoran-kun...

It's okay. I'm here.

Are you still scared?

Can you take a deep breathe?

My magic's effect will soon wear off...

You have to think.

What do you want to happen?

I want everyone... to go back to normal.

I want everyone... to go back to our own world.

Then, wish hard for that, Sakura...

Sakura?

I want everyone to go back to normal.

I want everyone to go back to our own world.

With Syaoran-kun!

Mother's Day Card with Zig Clean color real brush markers and Jane Davenport Markers - Duration: 13:14.

hi everyone its Keren here and welcome back to my channel today I have a brand

new tutorial where I created a card using the same stamp in two different

ways this video is part of a YouTube card making tutorial hop where a few

card makers got together to create card video tutorials all the links to all the

other videos are listed below in the description area so you can hop along

I've also linked all the products below as well I use the anemone stamp from

Alton ooh and I colored it two different ways with two different types of

watercolor paint brushes I apologize for the blurriness when I was stamping I

didn't realize that my camera was out of focus when I was stamping the anemone

stamp however I did fix this later on all I did is take my Tim Holtz stamp

platform and stamp the anemone flower and a couple of the leaves that came

with the stamp set this is an actual layering stamp set however I only used

the last layer which is the outline layer because I knew I wanted to emboss

the layers and then pick watercolor them inside so I took some Ranger superfine

black embossing powder and embossed the flower and the leaves four times I

wanted to have two flowers and four leaves on each one of the cards and I

was going to color them once said with Jane Davenport mermaid markers and the

other one with the zig color clean real brush markers I forgot to mention that

the ink I used is a pigment ink from Alta new and that's why I was able to

emboss right on the black ink the first set of embossed flowers and leaves I

painted with the new mermaid markers from Jane Davenport these are glittery

markers that are just beautiful the ink already comes with a glitter in

them so when you use them they become very very shimmery and glittery I'd have

to say that I really really love them there's two sets of these and I use the

set that has the blues and the pinks this set is called shimmering skies and

I only use the two turquoise colors that come in this set I use the light colour

first to add some ink in the center of the flower and then use my water brush

to just blend the color towards the outside of the petals these inks are so

intense and have so much pigment that the colors come out quite dark so you

have to put very little bit and sometimes it's really hard to control I

really wanted to show how to use different products and get similar

results depending on what products you use so today I'm specifically using DJ

in Davenport markers and the zig clean color real brush pens just to compare

the difference between the two these markers are so shimmery and beautiful

although it's really hard to tell in the video it's really beautiful how they are

all blended together and you don't have to add any other marker on top in order

to make it shimmery I wanted a stamped leaves to be green but the shimmering

set did not have any green color so I went back to my original mermaid marker

set and took two green markers and then I also took a green from a new set

called shipwrecked these three greens together combined

created the shades on the leaf I started with the lighter color first and put

very little bit at the base of the leaf and then used my watercolor brush to

just blend in the color then I went in with the darker color and created

another shade for the leaves I did the same thing I put it at the base of the

leaf and then blended it upwards to create a nice combination between the

two shades of green this gave the leaves

some depth and shape I ended up using only two of the green markers and I used

the darker one to highlight the veins on the leaves that added much more depth to

everything for the second card I decided to paint the flowers and the leaves

using the zig clean color real brush markers and I grabbed a few of the

turquoise looking colors because I wanted to make the flowers look as close

as possible to the other card I started again with the lighter color first the

zig clean markers have a little bit more selection within the markers there's a

lot more shades to choose from especially if you get the larger cases

this case that I have is the ATK's marker and I will list other sizes below

like the 60 or even the 24 marker case that way you can choose the one you like

I started with the lighter color of the turquoise II blue and then I went ahead

and used the next color which is was a little bit of a darker shade for each

marker I would add it around the center of the flower and then I will take my

watercolor paint brush and just spread the ink around these markers have a lot

of pigment in them as well so you also have to put very little bit on they are

however less strong in terms of the intensity and it's much easier to blend

and control they also have more shades so you can really add more shades to the

flower or to any project that you're using I really like blending these ones

and it's so calming for me to just sit there and watercolor I forgot to mention

that the paper that I'm using underneath for the coloring is a strap north

Bristol paper you can use any type of smooth watercolor paper with these

markers or with the Jane Davenport ones I find that it's

easier to have a smooth watercolor paper or a Bristol paper when you're blending

the colors so if you can't get the Bristol paper you can always use hot

press watercolor paper and that gives you the best effect

I continued blending the colors in the first flower and I even added a little

bit of a green tone to the center of the flower that really added a little bit of

depth to the anemone then I decided to start coloring the Leafs so I started

again with the lighter color at the base of the leaf the same way I have done

with the Jane Davenport markers I even added a little bit of yellow in this one

but it really didn't show then I went ahead and added the next color which is

a little bit darker green and I even went with a little bit of a darker one

at the base as well that way they all blended together when I added my water

color marker and it was really easy to just add all the shades at once this is

what I mean by these markers having a lot more options in terms of shades of

the same color I also did the same as I did in the other leaves and I painted

the veins of the leaves to create depth and that really helped to bring it all

together I did the same thing with the other flower and Leafs as I did with

this one as well once I finished coloring both flowers and leaves I

wanted to add a little shimmer to match the other flowers as well as these

markers are not shimmery at all so I took my new voll glimmer marker and

added some glimmer to the flower and to the leaves looking back I wish I would

have used the matching wink Estela for the same markers as they are made by the

same company quarry tacky but I didn't remember that I had them so I ended up

using the nouveau glimmer mist and it gave a more silvery look to it where the

other one would have given it a little bit of a golden look how

looked really nice and shimmery and I really liked it since I had added some

green in the center of the other flowers I went back and added a little bit of

green in the center of the flowers I had painted with the Jane Davenport markers

because I really wanted to compare everything I - I and by adding the green

it also created a little bit of depth to these flowers as well I took all four

flowers and four sets of leaves and I cut them using the matching die cut that

came with the set this set comes with a matching stamp and die which is really

great from alter knew once I cut them up I took some of the markers and the water

brush and I just went around the edges to just hide that white outline because

when I painted the flowers some of the marker had gone outside of the lines so

I wanted to make sure everything matches up so I use the zig markers for the

actual zig flower and leaves and I also use the Jane Davenport markers for their

respective flower and leaf although I wanted to mount the cards on a white

background I thought I could add a little bit more texture in the

background so I took two pieces of paper and I embossed them with a beautiful

embossing folder that kind of looked like a lattice pattern and that way

white on white would add a little bit of texture without taking away anything

from the actual flowers I took the embossed paper and I raised it with 3d

foam tape so it would give dimension to the card then I arranged the flowers and

the leaves the way I like them on the background and glue them as well finally

to add a sentiment I took the altar new Family Matters stamp set and I decided

to create two Mother's Day cards one for my mom and one for my mother-in-law so I

took the word mother and then another sentiment from the set and I went ahead

and on the same paper using the same ink

from Alton ooh I really love this set as it is so versatile because you can use

it for any type of occasion and for any family member it has lots of different

family members that a lot of stamp sets actually don't have so it was perfect

for anything and you don't have to buy separate stamp sets for that I will link

that one below as well of course because I really think it's a very handy stamp

set I stamped the saying two times and then I trimmed them the mother Ward I

actually use scissors to cut around the shape of the word because I didn't have

the matching die set so I just decided to just pretend that I have it and just

cut around the word it looked really authentic in my opinion and I really

liked that it was really easy to do because the letter is where a script

style I was able to cut around the loops and make it look as if it was die-cut I

should have put just a word mother on the outside and then put the other

sentiment in the center or at least stamp it inside the card that way it

would have not taken away from the flower as much but I only thought of

that after I glued everything and then I couldn't remove them because it was it

was ruining my flower so I decided to just leave it the way it is still I feel

looks really nice and it's just a really nice card that I made and I'm already

met ready for Mother's Day which is a few weeks away thank you so much for

The Crossover: Why sports brands are chasing esports viewers and spending millions to reach them - Duration: 9:29.

"Alright we're gonna take a left turn here. A real left turn."

"Almost like a U-Turn and then another U-Turn."

"Competitive video games."

"And I'm laughing because, I can't think of anything less interesting."

"So this is basically going to be a league watching people play video games."

"Esports."

"Can it truly be a spectator sport?"

"It's for booger eaters."

"Aw no one wants to watch people play video games, that's so boring."

"It's hard to imagine 36 million tuning in to watch this?"

"With cash prizes going into the millions."

"League's World Championship game with a 2 million dollar purse."

"The lucrative worlds of professional sports and competitive video gaming are beginning to merge."

"We're looking at multi billions of dollars in just the next few years."

"There's a lot of money to be had there."

"It has created this international audience and is a worldwide technological sports explosion".

One point five billion.

That's the dollar estimate that the esports industry was valued at for 2017.

It's a big number and probably a surreal reality for those of us who saw esports grow

from what it was five, ten years ago or even further back.

(Casting)

But that number pales in comparison to the industries that have recently dipped their

toes into esports, or conversely made a big splash like the NBA.

The Golden State Warriors, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Houston Rockets have entered into the NA LCS,

yet each of those teams by themselves are worth as much as the entire esports industry put together.

With esports being such a small drop in the bucket for these teams, why did they bother getting into esports?

Chances are, it's because of someone like you.

You, yes you, the average esports fan.

You may not know it but your time is valuable, to the point where companies are spending billions of dollars

trying to grab your attention.

And many already have.

Ask yourself:

Coke or Pepsi?

Adidas or Nike?

Chances are you have an opinion on the matter.

And while part of that is due to your first-hand opinions on their products,

"I feel like I can already tell by the shape that this is Pepsi."

you've likely been influenced by their various forms of marketing.

That is, if they've been able to reach you.

So much interest into esports comes from a generation that is so resistant to conventional advertisements.

This is partly because of the TV alternatives like YouTube and Twitch,

but even when ads are shown on those platforms, you've likely avoided them through the use of ad-blockers.

But just because you haven't been influenced to spend your time and money, doesn't mean

you're not spending it.

According to a report from Nielsen's esports division, which surveyed 4,000 esports fans

from the U.S., UK, France and Germany aged 13-40, the esports fan spends about 17% of

their leisure time on esports.

That's almost a fifth of your free time spent on esports, a lot of time spent away from conventional ads.

Nielsen also says that 61% of esports fans live with three-plus people and make liberal use of social media.

Whether you know it or not, you're an influencer yourself, to those around you and those you

interact with in your life.

Which is why companies spend billions to try to reach you and the esports industry is no different.

That $1.5 Billion valuation of esports from earlier came from SuperData Research and they say

that 35 percent of that was from ads and sponsorships.

They've also projected the industry to grow by 12 percent each year, to a value of 2.3 billion by 2022.

"I don't think this is rocket science. Esports models in a lot of ways the future."

"The demo is young, they're adblockers, cord cutters, cord nevers. They're extremely hard to get in front of."

"They consume sports and esports very differently than a traditional sports fan."

The potential of reaching an "impenetrable audience" is a clear benefit for any company with an aging audience,

and interest in the franchised NA LCS was immediate.

According to our reporting, there were over 100 different organizations that applied for the 2018 franchise

season, some of which came from abroad in Europe and China.

Ultimately, 10 teams were chosen, and it didn't come easy, or cheap.

"I think our application, I wanna say a little under a hundred pages, a little over a hundred pages."

Creating a 100+ page presentation is an exhaustive process for any organization.

But even if you were one of the lucky 10 to be chosen for the league,

the price tag of an NA LCS slot was $10 million if your team was already part of the NA LCS,

or $13 million if you were a newcomer.

Now, for these billion dollar NBA franchises, $10-ish million doesn't break the bank.

But at face value, and especially by esports standards, that is a heck of a lot of money.

Which is why even the big endemic brands, such as Team SoloMid and Cloud9 sought outsider

investors to help foot that bill.

All this said, despite the man hours and money required to get into the NA LCS,

many organizations saw the opportunity to reach that elusive, young audience.

So, what do esports from these investments?

The inaugural NA LCS season for these teams saw unexpectedly strong results.

While the Golden Guardians wound up in dead last, Clutch Gaming made it to the playoff semis

after stunning TSM 3-1 in the quarters.

"No one expected that outcome."

And 100 Thieves reached the finals after a narrow 3-2 series against Clutch, but lost

but lost 3-0 to Team Liquid and fell short of an MSI berth.

So, what's in this for you?

Are you more of a fan of the Golden Guardians simply knowing that they're associated with the GSW?

"And next we got, the add carry."

...Probably not, but their influence goes beyond just a single player or single team

and they can positively affect the quality of life for all the players and everyone else

working within the esports industry.

"The honest answer is you don't need these people, if you're a fan."

"If you're a fan, it doesn't matter how much an organization pays for its players."

"It doesn't matter if an organization is the Houston Rockets or the GSW."

"That doesn't matter, but for people in the industry, it's really important."

I haven't checked my bank account to see if I've gotten paid in the past few months

because I know I've been paid, because I work for the Houston Rockets."

"I know that when we sign a player and I commit able to pay them for the year or two years or whenever long."

"That my ownership will come through, and we will pay those players and live up to our engagement."

"That hasn't always been the case."

"Basically our owner's a scumbag, so we kinda peaced out."

Esports was built by grassroots communities, which have grown into a multi-million dollar industry

within the past few years.

However, even with this rapid influx of money, job security is still a concern for many working in esports.

"It's really hard to emphasize, just how much heartache and stress there was."

"Trying to be able to pay our players on time because sponsors weren't paying out."

"I had credit card debt that was racking up, that I had to rack up in order to get my players dinner or lunch."

"As opposed to being able to get them money through the door."

"Right? Those are the things that really have screwed our industry for a long time."

"The grassroots fan stuff, awesome, amazing, totally worth it."

"But at the end of the day, it's really hard for me to advocate for these guys or kids or boys and girls.

and guys that are like, "Hey I really want to get into esports," and I'm sitting here looking at my bank account

being like, "Man, this sponsor hasn't paid me yet this person has literally stolen my money from me.

This person's not doing their application." And those things are disappearing."

It doesn't matter whether you're an OG NA LCS fan who still cheers for Cloud9, TSM or CLG,

or whether you're a fan of the new challengers like Clutch Gaming, 100 Thieves or the Golden Guardians.

The inclusion of the NBA teams, and other investors from the traditional sports world,

is a good thing for everyone.

But let's not forget that the NBA teams and their respective sponsors

gain a lot of influence and loyalty through their esports teams.

After all, they're in this because of you.

This generation is changing the way broadcasting and advertising works, simply by the way it consumes media.

Sports teams and other brands have had to flip the script when it comes to reaching that audience.

If you're not watching, playing or interacting, there's no value for the teams and sponsors

that are buying into the scene.

The small community that built this scene holds all the cards.

It's that grassroots community that's changing the game

you, the esports fan

and has forced billion-dollar industries to stop ignoring esports and come along for the ride.

All-new 2019 VW Jetta review--MORE CAR FOR LE$$ - Duration: 8:50.

The Jetta is a car for people who think driving is a chore, and don't want to be convinced

otherwise.

Top 10 Mech Anime for People Who Don't Like Mecha (HD) - Duration: 4:44.

She ends up going on an adventure with this older man, and they become very close.

A young girl is forced to raise herself and her father's pub after he passes away. The girl is found by an older gentleman nicknamed coyote

It is your typical mixture of action, adventure, comedy, mecha, sci-fi, and shounen.

Together they are running from two federal

investigators and a group of android assassins. What I found interesting was each of the 12 assassins had the names of the 12 months

In a year. What really hooked me in this anime, was the bond that formed between the young girl franca and coyote.

Kannazuki no miko made me have a lot of split feelings.

It's about the Sun and Moon

Priestesses needing to come together to fight the evil that is coming to the planet. This anime is most well known for the fact that

It has girls falling in love with one another while one of them is in lingo with her childhood friend.

The love triangle drama aside I didn't find much else to redeem this show

But the love triangle itself was enough to make you want to finish the show

Keroro Gunsou or sergeant frog is one of my personal favorite.

Keroro and his platoon come to earth or "Pekopon" as they call it, to try to take over.

Instead he ends up becoming friends with some of the humans on the planet and essentially becomes their pet. He does their house chores in

Return for living there. He often throws tantrums and comes up with schemes to take over the world

But they almost always fall through. They are usually just ways to acquire more money to be able to build his Gundam models

In the world of Cross Ange everything you do is fueled by your magic.

That's all fine and dandy until princess Ange has to prove to everyone that she has magic and cannot summon any.

This sets the nation into a panic! She tries to escape with her mother, but they eventually capture her.

Unfortunately for Ange if you have no magic you're treated lower than dirt and sent away to a special

Island to be turned into a slave. There is a lot of fanservice in this anime with both girl/girl relationships and boy/girl relationships.

Full Metal Panic is about a kid who has spent his life in the military, until one day

He receives orders to study up on the pop culture of today and go to high school to protect the lovey miss Chidori

he is socially awkward at best and doesn't mind going to any location even if it's the girls changing room if

If he feels that Miss Chidori is in danger. Who could get mad if he is only trying to save you?

This girl. That's who.

Date A Live is a school anime that is basically one giant dating sim.

Options are presented to a group they vote for their favorite and when one of them wins

The main character has to recite the chosen answer to whomever he is speaking to. This sometimes leads to him being attacked.

Any girl who is evil turns good for him with the possible exception here or there. Not all girls can be tamed, you know.

At least the girls who aren't targets can go easy on him...

...right?

Macross Frontier is the sequel to the original Macross series

But you do not need to watch the previous

Seasons in over to watch it. A lot of people tend to like this season more due to its love triangle between the main three

Characters the character designs are also a lot more visually appealing to most people

I

Personally like it because of the amount of singing that is involved drew me in from the very beginning. The characters in this anime have

Very unique personalities and are really fun to watch. There's a lot of mech fighting,

But the other things going on in the show balance it out well.

Darling in the Franxx.. kids have to partner up to join together

To form a Franxx Mech. This comes quite naturally for some and not so easily for others. That is until

They meet the correct partner later on of course

Once you meet the correct partner, even someone deemed useless can grow up to become the most OP pairing there is.

This new pairing that was supposed to never be ends up having to protect all the adults and the other partnerships as well.

But we all know the real reason to watch is Zero Two.

The art in Aquarion Evol is stunning to me the backgrounds are always drawn well

But most importantly the girls are all super cute, maybe I should talk a bit about the plot now nah

The best part of Aquarion Evol is the females! All the characters are great. Don't get me wrong.

I love them all. It's just that the boys are useless until the girls come along to help them out and bond with them.

They can't power up without them. It also has love triangles that pull you in as well. Current loves, past loves,

There's a lot to take in here.

Code Geass is about a country full of racism,

An unknown being with mysterious powers, best friends being pitted up against one another, and so much more.

Geass is the power to control others through your commands. The show starts with a boy trying to kill one of the nation's princes.

Why would he do this you may wonder?

He's on a mission to kill all of the Royals after seeing his mother get killed and sister paralyzed in front of his eyes at

The palace so on his mission of vengeance he keeps up and acts as a fine student council member

Despite playing without two All-Stars (Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving) and an important role player (Marcus Smart), the Celtics have managed to stay afloat.

After Irving went down on March 11, the C's proceeded to go 9-6 down the stretch, including wins against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Portland Trail Blazers, Utah Jazz (that one, on the road against one of the hottest teams in the NBA, came without Al Horford, too) and Toronto Raptors.

The Celtics still have talent, their team defense remains stout (they are fifth in the NBA in defensive rating since Irving's injury), and Brad Stevens is one of the best coaches in the NBA, capable of game-planning for opponents and playing matchups–even with a depleted roster–as well as anyone in the Association.

Boston's ceiling may not be as high as what it was with Irving, but if their young players like Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown play to their potential, and if someone like Terry Rozier elevates his play consistently, they can still make a run in the wide-open East.

Their opening-round matchup, though, is not an easy one.

The Greek Freak is very clearly one of the best–and most entertaining–players in the league, while Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe and Jabari Parker make up a terrific supporting cast.

The Bucks defense, which ranks 27th in the NBA over the last month, can be a sizable weakness, but they have the offensive weapons to give Boston trouble.

That was the case a week ago, when the Bucks shot 54.4 percent of the field en route to a 106-102 win.

That evened the season series at two games apiece, though the first three matchups all took place before the calendar turned to 2018.

Ultimately, this is a difficult series to forecast.

Boston has the defense, the coaching and the home-court advantage, but it's hard to know how their young stars will fare.

Milwaukee has the offensive stars, but a weak finish to the season is concerning.

It's easy to see this one going either way, but one thing is clear: With Giannis, Tatum and some of the game's best young stars in the mix, it should be thoroughly entertaining along the way.

Vital comeback starts to repair morale ahead of FA Cup test

Chelsea have nothing to play for in the Premier League anymore except pride, but you should't underestimate how important that can be in football.

The game's lack of significance did nothing to reduce the anger at the performance produced by the Blues in the first half, and equally the good vibes being spread around after the comeback will go a long way to making training a happier place this week.

It must be tough at Cobham at the moment knowing that the manager is leaving in the summer, with another wave of uncertainty crashing over the club.

But at least with a more upbeat week in prospect after a spirit raising win, we might see another improvement in performance in the next game.

There is still talent in this team, despite recent results, and getting on a good run now could give us a chance of lifting the FA Cup.

If LeBron can get his team to the finals this year, it would one of his most impressive feats in a career full of them.

In each of his previous eight trips to the finals, his team has been either a 1 or a 2 seed, but this year, the Cavs are a 4 after an inconsistent season that saw them rearrange the roster in very significant ways at the trade deadline.

Since that major roster shakeup, the Cavs are 19-10 with the East's fourth-best net rating (40), trailing the 76ers (11.1), Raptors (7.5) and Heat (4.3).

While the defense has been a major question mark all year, the team has been excellent offensively since acquiring Rodney Hood, Larry Nance Jr., and Jordan Clarkson, ranking second in the NBA–and first among all playoff teams–with 112.9 points per 100 possessions.

The Cavs are a tough team to decipher heading into the postseason.

The overall metrics wouldn't suggest a Finals team, but LeBron is obviously capable of incredible, super-human things, and if Hood, Clarkson and Nance play to their potential, that's probably enough to make it out of the wide-open East.

That said, Cleveland can't overlook its first-round opponent.

Victor Oladipo has been one the league's best two-way players, Myles Turner–while inconsistent this year–has stretches of dominance, and the Pacers can be really solid on both ends of the court when they're clicking.

They also won three out of four against Cleveland this season, though all of those games came pre-deadline, so it's tough to read too much into that.

A first-round exit for LeBron would ultimately be a major surprise, but this nonetheless stacks up as what should be a competitive series.

When Is Season 8 of 'The Walking Dead' Available on Netflix? | SML TV - Duration: 4:10.

When Is Season 8 of 'The Walking Dead' Available on Netflix?

If you've been waiting to watch The Walking Dead on Netflix, don't get too excited now that the season is ending tonight.

You're still going to have to wait quite a while until you can see the new season.

Unlike some broadcast channels, AMC does not have a deal in place with Netflix where The Walking Dead seasons premiere quickly for streaming.

Read on for more details.

The Walking Dead typically does not premiere on Netflix (in either the U.S.

or the U.K.) until September. Netflix hasn't announced an official release date for Season 8 yet, but there's no reason to believe at this time that the release date will be any different than before.

Season 7 was released on Netflix on Friday, September 8, just a little more than a month before Season 8 premiered on AMC.

Some other companies release their shows much quicker.

Every show on The CW, for example, is released on Netflix within a week after the season ends.

Sadly, that's just not the case for The Walking Dead.  U.S.

viewers can see The Walking Dead on AMC every Sunday night that it's airing at 9 p.m.

Eastern.

They can also stream it on AMC's apps or on Sling.

Viewers in the UK can watch it on FOX (or on NOW TV with a 14-day free trial) the day after each episode premieres in the U.S. But Netflix isn't an option for anyone right now who wants to see Season 8.

They can watch all of Season 7 of The Walking Dead on Netflix, along with previous seasons, but Season 8 won't be released on Netflix any time soon.

If you really don't want to wait, you can also buy episodes from Season 8 on Amazon and watch them online that way.

Unfortunately, you also can't pass the time by watching Fear the Walking Dead on Netflix.

It's just not there.

You can, however, stream past seasons of Fear on Hulu, Amazon, iTunes, and Google Play.

From Day 1, Fear was available on Hulu and it's been there ever since.

You can't, however, watch Fear Season 4 on Hulu as it's airing on AMC.

Season 3 wasn't released on Hulu until January, about three months after the season concluded on AMC. Fear also isn't available on Netflix in any other region outside the U.S.

either.

Breaking the cycle of abuse - Beverly Engel - Duration: 7:05.

Adult children of dysfunctional parents are often shocked when words come out of their

mouths that sound exactly like their parents.

A cycle of abuse the continues from generation to generation.

Habits can operate unconsciously repeating what we didn't like about our parents.

How does it happen, and also, how can it be stopped?

Breaking the cycle of abuse is written by Beverly Engel.

She's a LMFT and psychotherapist.

She has authored many books that are between 4 - 5 stars on Amazon.

This book is published by Wiley and is available in Hardcover, Paperback and Kindle.

You can also see her website below under the video.

The book has a lot to offer for both victims of the cycle of abuse and those who victimize.

A lot of books separate the two groups of people, but in this book, many of the victimizers

were also victims.

It is structured as a warning, to make people aware of their negative patterns, and provide

strategies to move in a more positive direction.

The language is very non-judgmental and focuses on healing.

Unlike most psychology books, the writing style avoids complex jargon.

This comprehensive book tries very hard to cover just about every scenario, including

people about to abuse, or have already abused.

Many people just look for the scenario that applies to them, but you'll need to get this

book to make sure you find your situation.

In this review I'll just list three reasons from the book on why we can repeat abuse that

was done to us, and then three abuse prevention strategies, but first, why do we do to others

what was done to us?

Beverly explains that if you've been in an abusive household, the chances are high that

you've absorbed some of the behaviours of your parents, and these behaviours can easily

be triggered by a familiar provocation, or lead to choices of partners that mirror the

conflict in your family of origin.

Sometimes the abuse is repeated, or in other cases, the fear of repeating the abuse leads

to weak bonding in the current family.

Either way, the effect is the same.

It leads to poor relationships.

This leads to the first reason that people repeat the behaviour they saw from their family

of origin.

Beverly lists a variety of beliefs that could only have come from the family of origin.

Often children take the abuser, or the victim, as their role model.

These beliefs are about who has less rights and who has more rights.

When these beliefs are not challenged, they can be passed on to the next generation.

Some people allow themselves to be abused.

People can become addicted to being abused because it's the only way they know how they

can get the attention they want.

Many abused people have no role models in their daily life that can show them what a

loving relationship looks like.

Unfortunately the brain often prefers what is familiar to what is unfamiliar, even if

the unfamiliar is healthier.

The above examples show how children can be dependent on the family origin for their conditioning

and habits.

The following strategies provide opportunities to develop new ways of thinking to break the

cycle.

Enmeshment is an unhealthy attachment to significant others.

It means ignoring your needs and feeling guilty for expressing them.

The child needs to express their needs and express their anger towards their parents

behaviour when it's appropriate.

By saving some love for oneself and expressing different preferences and viewpoints, one

can develop a sense of self separate from the abusers.

When we are continually angry over what others have done, we are also giving our power away

to them since we can't control them.

We may even behave in ways that will eventually make us ashamed.

One of the ways to release anger, is to express your anger for the abuse you went through

and then forgive the abuser.

The forgiveness is more for oneself to prevent the abuser from living in your mind "rent

free".

Thinking about the abuser all the time is just further victimization, except you are

doing this to yourself.

The next step is to model the behaviour you want to see from others, this way you are

actively breaking the cycle.

Having healthy conflict is important for families.

To avoid conflict means problems can fester and erupt in rage, sending a message that

love can only happen when there's agreement.

Model proper healthy conflict where differences are allowed, and accommodations on both sides

can be made.

This way conflict can turn from something negative to healthy problem solving.

For people who have successfully broken the cycle of abuse, they had to first admit the

truth of their behaviour, and then set a path to get help from a professional to make permanent

changes to thinking and behaviour patterns.

They let go of the identity of their past and forge a new present.

When the new awareness and behaviour takes hold, the family legacy can change for future

generations.

Organic Transhumanism: Hacking The Human Genome To Reach The Next Level In Evolution - Duration: 7:33.

humanity as we know it is at the crossroads since the last ice age over

12,000 years ago we have gradually established our

civilization on this planet but in terms of how far we've gone

we are still children on the cosmic scale if the human race were a person

we'll basically be about 12 or 13 years old

teenagers gradually realizing that the world we live in is part of a vast

galactic network and just like teenagers we have begun to understand that the

world is a bigger place than we thought it was with this realization comes a new

age of expansion our eyes are opening to fantastic new ideas and possibilities

these ideas could one day be the bedrock for which humanity will finally spread

out to the universe on a voyage of discovery but there's a catch in order

for us to make that leap to the Stars and beyond we have to first improve

ourselves because the stars although breathtaking to behold would be

unforgiving to our weak and fragile bodies now before we continue I like you

all to know I make new videos on Thursdays and Sundays every week so

please like the video and subscribe to the channel for more great content when

I mentioned crossroads earlier I was referring to the number of ways we could

possibly achieve this accelerated evolution we already discussed one path

we could follow towards achieving our goal in the first transhumanism video

that episode showed us how it could be possible by bringing man and machine

together but today we'll discuss how we could achieve such evolution by natural

or biological means today people looking for an extra edge in school or sports

tend to turn to some form of performance-enhancing drug athletes

even famous ones have been caught using steroids or some other drug to enhance

their physical attributes students and even Silicon Valley executives have been

known to use different kinds of nootropics these so called cognitive

enhancers are said to increase productivity and sharpen focus without

side effects of a prescription drug like adderall

given the fact that our society currently values mental speed and

agility they won't be longer till such drugs catch on to the mainstream

especially once they become accepted by medical professionals while the

fictional character known as Wolverine is famous for his claws and manly

sideburns his primary mutant power is his accelerated healing factor this means

his body can regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue faster than is possible

in ordinary humans so what if I told you that real-life non-mutant humans like

you and I could capture a bit of Wolverines rapid healing power certain

phytochemicals which are basically chemicals derived from plants tend to

have amazing healing properties when applied to complex biological organisms

a study was carried out by researchers on the impact of one such phytochemical

on a group of wounded mice the phytochemical was derived from the

leaves of kalanchoe petit Tana which are used locally in Ethiopia for healing

bone fractures sours and even wounds after the study was concluded the

researchers found that the leaves possessed remarkable wound healing traits and were

able to accelerate cellular repair in the injured areas of the mice within

days although such natural herbs are not globally accepted as treatments for

injuries that will inevitably change as more people learn of what they can do in

a nutshell we could very well see a future where people take a mix of these

drugs to maintain peak physical and mental condition indefinitely

sort of like John Claude Van Damme in the movie Universal Soldier although the

solutions we've mentioned thus far would substantially improve our physical and

mental conditions they have one problem which is a lack of permanence simply put

no one would choose a daily drug intake to achieve superhuman enhancements when

they could be born with these enhancements off the bats

this is where gene-editing comes in some of you may know CRISPR the gene editing

system derived from bacteria that enables scientists to edit the DNA of

living organisms so far this tool has been used to successfully create the

first genetically modified human embryo in the United States and that was just

scratching the surface the potential of CRISPR is simply limitless as it allows

for us to easily hack the source code of all living organisms in the future this tool

could be used to create custom-designed superhumans who would be immune to all

known diseases and age much slower than the rest of us mere mortals considering

what this could mean for us as a species a very relevant quote comes to mind with

great power comes great responsibility simply put we need to make sure in our

quest to better ourselves we do not unwittingly doom our entire

race in Greek mythology the chyme era is a monstrous fire-breathing creature

typically described as having the head of a lion a snake as a tail and the head

of a Goat emerging from its back just as this

mythical creature terrorized the minds of the Greeks

so has the idea of human-animal hybrids been the source of much anxiety in the

scientific community and society at large

you see most of us are like six-year-olds who turn their nose up to

the idea of mixing their broccoli with your mashed potatoes

we simply like to keep things pure this idea stems from the very human belief

that things have certain necessary properties that are essential to them

being what they are the only problem is biology doesn't follow this idea we are

all made of different combinations of the same kind of stuff like proteins and

amino acids even much of our human DNA is shared across other species for

example humans share around 90% of our DNA with mice and about 35% with the

simple roundworm early last year an international team of

researchers led by the Salk Institute announced that they had created the

first successful human Pig hybrid the purpose of this hybrid was to grow

custom organs in a pig which could then be used by people who needed them

currently there are two ways of making a hybrid the first of which is to

introduce the organs of one animal into another a risky proposition as the hosts

immune system may reject the organ entirely and then there's a second

method which begins at the embryonic level introducing one animal cell into

the embryo of another and letting them grow together into a hybrid in the

future our understanding of genetic modification could allow us not only

combine the DNA of different species but also select specific genetic traits from

a potential hybrid partner while suppressing the unwanted bits think

spider-man but instead of being bitten by a spider in high school his DNA was

spliced with that of an arachnid while he was still just an embryo if you think

about it every genetic traits needed by humanity to survive a journey through

the Stars could be found in one animal plants or microbe on earth the question

is are we bold enough to tap into it
