2019 Bullet Journal Setup | Minimal + Floral ⚘ - Duration: 9:51.

Hi everyone, Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a wonderful time welcoming 2019.

It is a blank slate for all of our dreams and my goal is to create a bullet journal

setup that will help me and hopefully you conquer this year!

First off I want to say thank you for being so understanding about the timing of my videos!

I know that I'm not the only one who is overwhelmed with obligations and the surprises

of life.

It really touches my heart when I get messages of love and encouragement from you, I am so

lucky!

This year, I have decided to switch over from a traveler's setup to one journal.

I looked everywhere for the perfect one and I still haven't found one that hits all my

criteria, but I did find this one called Minimalism Art.

I was determined to get a white cover journal and surprisingly there are not too many out

there with off-white pages because bright white pages hurts my

eyes, does that happen to you?

I also wanted thick 120 gsm paper, really light dots and good overall construction,

and even though the dots here are a little darker than I would like, it's not too bad.

The paper is thick, but still kinda see through, Which I am not happy about and one thing to

note is that the dots do not line up from page to page but they vary so slightly that

its okay.

I am learning to live these two dislikes because I already spent the money and started the

year in this journal, but I don't recommend it if you're really picky about ghosting.

Other than that, it has two ribbons, a back pocket, numbered pages, lays flat, and has

a dedicated table of contents.

It is definitely a beautiful journal and I love how it looks and feels which was very

important for me.

And I found it just so perfect that the brand is called minimalism art, because this is

the year that I want to focus on simplicity.

When I started journaling, I was convinced that a bullet journal without trackers was

not a bullet journal.

But after reading the book by the creator of the method himself, I realized that the

system was created from bulleted list and it organically grew into what we see today.

And just knowing that and also listening more to my needs, I started to simplify my setups

and customize it for my goals.

Something I highly encourage you all to do.

Don't think that you need trackers, monthly calendars, movie lists, or anything else you

know you won't use.

And maybe all you really need is more time.

So take a moment to figure out your want, and what you want your bullet journal to do

for you, instead of what you need to do to for it, and then go from there.

I want my journal to be my sidekick, as I conquer my biggest fears and accomplish goals

that I could only imagine.

And in order to do that, it needs to be simple and very easy to setup and use.

So for the cover page I kept it really clean with a vertical layout and two delicate florals

accents to balance out the page.

And then I'm going back in with my gold jelly roll to add in a metallic touch, of

course.

This is very different than what I normally do with my illustrations, but I love it so

much!

For my weekly list, I started using a similar system to the original by Ryder Caroll, using

keys to determine the progress and importance of a task, versus a basic checkbox.

If I need to indicate that a task needs to be moved than I'll use this arrow icon or

if its cancelled then I'll use this x icon.

You can use these or make up ones that work better for you!

And then on the next page, flowing right into it, is my focus for the year.

In addition to simplifying my life and my decisions

Twenty-nineteen will be a year focused on failing successfully and on living with intention.

Fail on purpose and with the intention to learn.

And choose failures that will allow you to grow.

Live intentionally versus by reaction.

Be purposeful in your actions and be honest with yourself and others about what those

intentions may be.

You are in control of your future and you can make your dreams a reality.

One of the tricks I'll be using to make my planning easier, is printing out more stickers

on clear matte label paper.

I've been doing this for my text last year and I thought it would be

perfect for other things because it blends right into the paper and doesn't stick out

like a sticker at all.

I have all of my supplies listed below, so definitely check that out if you want to do

the same thing!

On the next page, I have a mini illustration of the Bunny and bear exchanging flowers to

each other, cheerful and without a worry in the world.

Reminding me that life is as complicated and as simple as we choose to make it

I normally draw so much bigger than this, but this is so refreshing and the balance

between the positive and negative space helps me to feel calm.

Exactly what I need right now, since my studio is a bit of mess, as you'll see in a studio

vlog coming soon!

I'm so very nervous about those, but I think it'll be good thing!

Next to the mini illustration is my full 2019 calendar.

And in order to make this so much easier, I drew it on my ipad pro, fixed it up in Illustrator

and printed it out onto the semi-clear matte sticker paper!

It might sound like more work, but I can use this same calendar for all of the months this

year just by resizing it based on where I want it.

So in end, it is a time saver.

I then resized it a little bit and am using it for my future log so this saves me even

more time.

I won't be selling this setup since everything is customized to my needs, but the january

setup will be available next week as a blank so you can use it for any month even though

it will be almost mid January!

For the future logs, I broke it down into 4 quarters.

This is how I am going to work on my goals which makes it a bit easier to plan out.

Each quarter encompasses 3 months and then on the left of the spread will be a section

for all of the purposeful fails I'll be attempting for the quarter to reach my goal.

You can use it to set your goals instead and then use the space underneath the months to

list your important dates for the specific month.

This way you can flip back to these pages even in July and have all of your dates and

quarterly goals within a few pages.

And then i'll just repeat this 3 more times for the next 3 quarters.

The biggest pro of splitting up the year like this is the automatic motivation we get when

we know something is beginning.

So if you didn't reach your goal in the first quarter try something different in the

second quarter and so on.

Instead of having one year to figure it all out, you have 4 chances to plan new plans!

As another year comes to an end, The bunny and the bear are so excited that they can't

help but celebrate in dance.

It is a moment meant for celebration no matter if the goals were reached, because the effort

alone deserves recognition.

Planning way ahead I wanted to flip to this page as 2019 comes to an end and have it be

a reminder to celebrate no matter what.

It is also the place where I want to imagine my future self and manifest those qualities

that I desire, now.

When we believe that we can't, we stop ourselves from believing that we can and then we don't

try fully or freely.

This is something I want to change.

I want to imagine myself at the end of the year, having learned all that I wanted to

learn and having accomplished the goals I've set, so that I can visualize it and become

that much closer to believing in it and believing in myself.

By the end of 2019, how do you imagine yourself.

Has your diet changed, can you lift more weights, have you reached your goals.

Are you more patient with yourself and others, more compassionate,or more calm?

Do you love your body and embrace differences in others versus judging them?

This is the place where we'll visualize the person we want to be by the end of this

year.

Socrates once said, to be as you wish to seem.

And this is my favorite quote to keep in mind for 2019

Overall, this setup is exactly what I needed to start off this year.

It is clean and there is a balance and harmony of space, something that I am not getting

from my physical space around me.

So opening this journal becomes a little escape until I can manifest the feeling into my studio.

How to stop period pain immediately - Duration: 4:34.

Here are the top 7 home remedies for menstrual cramps.

Heat.

Applying heat on the lower abdomen is the easiest way to control menstrual cramps.

Heat helps relax the contracting muscles in the uterus.

Place a heating pad over the lower part of your abdomen and lower back.

You can even use a regular plastic bottle filled with hot water.

Apply the heat until you feel more comfortable.

Alternatively, soak a towel in water, wring out the excess water and then heat it in the

microwave for one minute.

Place it on the lower abdomen until the towel cools.

Repeat every few minutes until the pain is gone.

Even taking a hot shower may relieve pain and make you feel more relaxed.

Basil.

Basil is another very effective herb for reducing menstrual pain and cramps.

The caffeic acid present in basil has analgesic, or pain-killing properties.

Add one tablespoon of basil leaves to one cup of boiling water.

Cover tightly and allow it to cool.

Drink this every few hours to ease cramps.

Alternatively, crush a handful of basil leaves to extract the juice.

Add two teaspoons of the juice to one cup of warm water.

Drink this three times daily while having pain.

You can also add fresh basil leaves to your food.

Cinnamon.

Cinnamon has antispasmodic, anticlotting and anti-inflammatory properties that can relieve

menstrual pain.

Plus, cinnamon is an excellent source of dietary fiber, calcium, iron and manganese.

Make cinnamon tea by stirring one-fourth teaspoon of cinnamon powder into a cup of hot water.

Let it sit for up to five minutes, add a little honey and then sip it slowly.

Drink two to three cups of cinnamon tea one to two days before your period starts to prevent

cramps.

Add one-half teaspoon of cinnamon powder and one tablespoon of honey to a glass of warm

water.

Drink it three times during the first day of your period to relieve pain.

Ginger.

Ginger is a wonder herb that can effectively ease menstrual cramps.

This herb plays a key role in lowering the levels of the pain-causing prostaglandins.

It also helps fight fatigue associated with premenstrual syndrome and can make irregular

periods regular.

Grate a small piece of ginger and boil it in a cup of water for five minutes.

Strain it and add a little honey and lemon juice.

Drink this tea three times a day during your menstrual cycle.

You can also add ginger in your food while cooking or suck on some ginger candies.

Chamomile Tea.

Chamomile tea has anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties that help relax the uterus and

ease the spasmodic contractions that cause pain during menstruation.

Bring one cup of water to a boil.

Pour it into a cup containing a chamomile tea bag.

Cover and let it steep for 10 to 15 minutes.

Squeeze out the tea bag and add some lemon juice or honey as desired.

Drink at least two cups of chamomile tea a day during the week before your period.

Fennel.

The antispasmodic, phytoestrogenic and anti-inflammatory properties of fennel can help relax the muscles

in the uterus, which in turn relieves cramping and discomfort.

Add one teaspoon of fennel seeds to a cup of boiling water.

Simmer the mixture on low heat for five minutes.

Remove from heat and strain the tea.

Add one teaspoon of honey and mix well.

Drink this herbal tea two times daily beginning three days before the expected start date

of your cycle.

Continue drinking it as needed for pain.

Drink it hot for best results.

Blackstrap Molasses.

Another time-tested remedy for menstrual cramps is blackstrap molasses.

Being rich in calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium, manganese, vitamin B6 and selenium, blackstrap

molasses helps reduce blood clots and soothe the muscles of the uterine walls.

This in turn lessens cramps during menstruation.

Add one to two teaspoons of blackstrap molasses to a cup of warm milk.

Drink it as soon as you start having cramps and continue as long as needed.

Welcome at my new video.

I wanna thank yall for all possitive feedback about me making such a huge change

in my diet and training as well

As you can see Ive dropped some weight

and I basicaly decided not to do bodybuilding any more.

Now I wanna focus more on functionality of my body

I decided to quit competing in bodybuilding

due to lack of motivation

Competing has no point for me anymore because

there are so many new federations and categories coming up

so if I won lets say worlds championships

it would mean nothing because theres so many

championships out there

and mostly I lack motivation because most people do it

for the facebook photo

not for winning titles

time has changed and I have changed

For me its more impotant to do what I like to do for myself

not for instagram and so

To get to the level that Ive always wanted

and got driven by that

meaning Mr. Olympia stage

Its not realistic for me

I just dont have a structure for that

Strugling to get where I dont belong

is absolutely wrong way

I think that everybody should be real about the fact wether you have what it takes to get there or not

Do I have a frame and all genetics to get where I want?

Of course some people have lower goals like winning local show only

It wasnt enough for me. I wanted Olympia stage

At my height of 180cm

212 class is out of the question of course

Id have to be ib open class

and Its another world out there

I was about 122kg at my heaviest off season

When I was ripped almost like contest shape

I was about 97-100 kg

This is where I was 3 months ago

when I intended to be in bodybuilding like shape

so 97kg

Now after 3 or 4 months when I changed my diet and training style

Im 96 kg

Thats 1 kg decrease

My fat level is about the same

As you can see Im all different

You would say Ive lost 15 kg

Its because I dont train like a bodybuilder

I dont use heavy weights and I dont focus on muscle density

no muscle pumping what so ever

I look like 80kg but Im 96 kg

my muscle structure has changed

Intermittent fasting means that I have time frame

of 16 hours when I dont eat at all

and 8 hours frame where I eat

I wanted to impement this long time ago

but I didnt because I was afraid to loose muscle

Just thinking of 16 hours of fasting made me freak out that Id loose muscle

Now I dont care wether I loose muscle or not so

So I can experiment

and Im starting to realize amazing things...Im not loosing muscle

Im 32 years old

and Ive been doing bodybuilding since 13

Its been 19 years since I do bodybuilding

Like doing it all the way. Training 5 times a week, food everything.

And all that time I obviously sticked to classic way of doing things

meaning eating every 2 hours which makes it 6-8 meals a day

Now Ive turned everything up side down

and I have 3 meals a day

In comparision with bodybuilding style

this is totally something different

It feels strange to make such change after so many years but

Id reccommend it to yall

And in this video series Ill do my best to show you that its possible

not to loose muscle

and I wanna motivate yall to do something for your health too.

Can competetive bodybuilder do anything like that?

My answer is yes hands down

but...but...

Its definitelly not real for Phil Heath level bodybuilder

If you have such an extreme mass that you have to feed every two hours

with so many calories

even one missed meal you take you back by loosing weight

then Its not suitable for you

but who of us is at the muscle mass level that every missed meal pulls you back?

I thing almost nobody

I might count that on finger of my one hand

So my answer to the question

Can bodybuilder do intermittent fasting? is yes

Its even possible to build muscle on intermittent fasting

It can be done as easy as on classic way of eating every 2 hours

You might thing that I talk s*it here

because nobody never did it this way so I cant be done

but if you have 3 meals a day

it doesnt mean your typical meals youd normally have

so youd have half calorie intake

those 3 meals will obviously be much bigger

and consist on different macros

So the anabolic response will be

I thing even stronger than if Wed eat every two hours

Main benefits of intermittent fasting are definitelly

Increase of production of growth hormone

Growth hormone is one of the most anabolic hormones that we produce

then enhance imunity

enhance in digestion and colon clearence

then the thing when you feel crisis

during the day energy swings

I wanna sleep then Im jacked again...

This is all triggered by unstable blood glucose levels

When you do intemittent fasting in the fasting window

your blood sugar levels stabilize

not only that you dont have energy swings

but in long term it decreases

the possibility of type 2 diabetes

people who are prone to it or already have type 2 diabetes

can improve their condition if not totally cure themselves

What all that bad on insulin, sugar, glucose, glycemia and all those words?

The bad thing is when I eat every 2 hours then

I stimulate pancreas which is endocrine gland that produce insulin

More insulin more probability to store body fat

Less insulin the lesser probability to store body fat

When I fast for 16 hours when I dont eat of course

I have low blood sugar level

so the cells insulin sensitivity increases

because theres less insulin

the cell becomes more sensitive to it

so it can uptake it

This is good for us

Less insulin needed for glucose and other nutrients to go through the cells the lesser chance that we store the body fat

If I do 16 hours fast and 8 hours feed

Im more insulin sensitive

and when I eat carbs in the feeding window

less insulin is secreted and

and the same amount of nutrients is utilized in the muscles

and as I said...

Less insulin means less chance that excesive energy will store as a body fat

Growth hormone and insulin levels go opposite

if theres increased level of glucose theres decreased level of growth hormone

if theres decreased level of glucose theres increased level of growth hormone

We obviosuly want increased level of growth hormone because

it spares muscle mass

or even build it

promotes fat burning

and spares muscle glycogen

its simply hormon of vitality, health

While on this diet you have increased levels of growth hormone long term

Growth hormone is so anabolic that can spare muscle mass

even if you fast for 16 hour no protein nothing

it really spares the muscle

This effects been proven by many studies

while short term or long term fasting theres

always increase in growth hormone levels

Its undisputable

Comparing diet based on feeding every 2-3 hours

and diet based on short or long term fasting

Its been shows increased levels of growth hormone in group that of course did fasting

Id recommend intermittend fasting to everybody who wanna be in good shape and look good

on the other hand Id not rcommend it to professional bodybuilders who are like 120-130 kg on stage

I also wouldnt recommend it to people who has any eating disorders like anorexia and so

All in all its an amazing thing. You just try it.

2019 Bullet Journal Setup | Minimal + Floral ⚘ - Duration: 9:51.

Hi everyone, Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a wonderful time welcoming 2019.

It is a blank slate for all of our dreams and my goal is to create a bullet journal

setup that will help me and hopefully you conquer this year!

First off I want to say thank you for being so understanding about the timing of my videos!

I know that I'm not the only one who is overwhelmed with obligations and the surprises

of life.

It really touches my heart when I get messages of love and encouragement from you, I am so

lucky!

This year, I have decided to switch over from a traveler's setup to one journal.

I looked everywhere for the perfect one and I still haven't found one that hits all my

criteria, but I did find this one called Minimalism Art.

I was determined to get a white cover journal and surprisingly there are not too many out

there with off-white pages because bright white pages hurts my

eyes, does that happen to you?

I also wanted thick 120 gsm paper, really light dots and good overall construction,

and even though the dots here are a little darker than I would like, it's not too bad.

The paper is thick, but still kinda see through, Which I am not happy about and one thing to

note is that the dots do not line up from page to page but they vary so slightly that

its okay.

I am learning to live these two dislikes because I already spent the money and started the

year in this journal, but I don't recommend it if you're really picky about ghosting.

Other than that, it has two ribbons, a back pocket, numbered pages, lays flat, and has

a dedicated table of contents.

It is definitely a beautiful journal and I love how it looks and feels which was very

important for me.

And I found it just so perfect that the brand is called minimalism art, because this is

the year that I want to focus on simplicity.

When I started journaling, I was convinced that a bullet journal without trackers was

not a bullet journal.

But after reading the book by the creator of the method himself, I realized that the

system was created from bulleted list and it organically grew into what we see today.

And just knowing that and also listening more to my needs, I started to simplify my setups

and customize it for my goals.

Something I highly encourage you all to do.

Don't think that you need trackers, monthly calendars, movie lists, or anything else you

know you won't use.

And maybe all you really need is more time.

So take a moment to figure out your want, and what you want your bullet journal to do

for you, instead of what you need to do to for it, and then go from there.

I want my journal to be my sidekick, as I conquer my biggest fears and accomplish goals

that I could only imagine.

And in order to do that, it needs to be simple and very easy to setup and use.

So for the cover page I kept it really clean with a vertical layout and two delicate florals

accents to balance out the page.

And then I'm going back in with my gold jelly roll to add in a metallic touch, of

course.

This is very different than what I normally do with my illustrations, but I love it so

much!

For my weekly list, I started using a similar system to the original by Ryder Caroll, using

keys to determine the progress and importance of a task, versus a basic checkbox.

If I need to indicate that a task needs to be moved than I'll use this arrow icon or

if its cancelled then I'll use this x icon.

You can use these or make up ones that work better for you!

And then on the next page, flowing right into it, is my focus for the year.

In addition to simplifying my life and my decisions

Twenty-nineteen will be a year focused on failing successfully and on living with intention.

Fail on purpose and with the intention to learn.

And choose failures that will allow you to grow.

Live intentionally versus by reaction.

Be purposeful in your actions and be honest with yourself and others about what those

intentions may be.

You are in control of your future and you can make your dreams a reality.

One of the tricks I'll be using to make my planning easier, is printing out more stickers

on clear matte label paper.

I've been doing this for my text last year and I thought it would be

perfect for other things because it blends right into the paper and doesn't stick out

like a sticker at all.

I have all of my supplies listed below, so definitely check that out if you want to do

the same thing!

On the next page, I have a mini illustration of the Bunny and bear exchanging flowers to

each other, cheerful and without a worry in the world.

Reminding me that life is as complicated and as simple as we choose to make it

I normally draw so much bigger than this, but this is so refreshing and the balance

between the positive and negative space helps me to feel calm.

Exactly what I need right now, since my studio is a bit of mess, as you'll see in a studio

vlog coming soon!

I'm so very nervous about those, but I think it'll be good thing!

Next to the mini illustration is my full 2019 calendar.

And in order to make this so much easier, I drew it on my ipad pro, fixed it up in Illustrator

and printed it out onto the semi-clear matte sticker paper!

It might sound like more work, but I can use this same calendar for all of the months this

year just by resizing it based on where I want it.

So in end, it is a time saver.

I then resized it a little bit and am using it for my future log so this saves me even

more time.

I won't be selling this setup since everything is customized to my needs, but the january

setup will be available next week as a blank so you can use it for any month even though

it will be almost mid January!

For the future logs, I broke it down into 4 quarters.

This is how I am going to work on my goals which makes it a bit easier to plan out.

Each quarter encompasses 3 months and then on the left of the spread will be a section

for all of the purposeful fails I'll be attempting for the quarter to reach my goal.

You can use it to set your goals instead and then use the space underneath the months to

list your important dates for the specific month.

This way you can flip back to these pages even in July and have all of your dates and

quarterly goals within a few pages.

And then i'll just repeat this 3 more times for the next 3 quarters.

The biggest pro of splitting up the year like this is the automatic motivation we get when

we know something is beginning.

So if you didn't reach your goal in the first quarter try something different in the

second quarter and so on.

Instead of having one year to figure it all out, you have 4 chances to plan new plans!

As another year comes to an end, The bunny and the bear are so excited that they can't

help but celebrate in dance.

It is a moment meant for celebration no matter if the goals were reached, because the effort

alone deserves recognition.

Planning way ahead I wanted to flip to this page as 2019 comes to an end and have it be

a reminder to celebrate no matter what.

It is also the place where I want to imagine my future self and manifest those qualities

that I desire, now.

When we believe that we can't, we stop ourselves from believing that we can and then we don't

try fully or freely.

This is something I want to change.

I want to imagine myself at the end of the year, having learned all that I wanted to

learn and having accomplished the goals I've set, so that I can visualize it and become

that much closer to believing in it and believing in myself.

By the end of 2019, how do you imagine yourself.

Has your diet changed, can you lift more weights, have you reached your goals.

Are you more patient with yourself and others, more compassionate,or more calm?

Do you love your body and embrace differences in others versus judging them?

This is the place where we'll visualize the person we want to be by the end of this

year.

Socrates once said, to be as you wish to seem.

And this is my favorite quote to keep in mind for 2019

Overall, this setup is exactly what I needed to start off this year.

It is clean and there is a balance and harmony of space, something that I am not getting

from my physical space around me.

So opening this journal becomes a little escape until I can manifest the feeling into my studio.

channel and you've not seen my save by Slaanesh video series it's basically a

series of videos which follows my journey of doing an emperor's children

army with daemon stupid trucks who's that guy looking at me through his blinds

have a right night to get out and give him what for yeah go I'll get outta here

so as I was saying it's basically me doing an emperor's children army with Slaanesh

daemons now that is pretty cool ok so here it is and I absolutely love the

packaging of this model I think it's the prince fan in me with the purple etc and

the artwork on the back is absolutely fantastic as well now this cost me 20

pounds I bought it direct from Games Workshop on the day of release right

let's get this open so we've got a few seconds of me undoing the cellophane so

what I want to talk about in this video is as well as looking at the model

is have a chat about what I'm going to actually do with this model in my

army first though let's have a look at it so

get it open from here and inside you've got a little tray very posh okay

right so have a look at this piece of paper read this first okay let's have a

quick look at this so right this is just the building instructions and aha

actually got the data card with the stats on pretty cool and that's in

different languages so they go we've read that and right there you go just

one sprue that's all you get one tiny little sprue for twenty pound however

let's have a look at the detail because that's probably gonna make it worthwhile

so we've got one of the new bigger bases and have a closer look at this okay so

first of all the guitar now I'm very interested and having a look at this

because I currently use the spellcrow guitars which are very cool however this

is definitely more detailed it's much bigger than the spellcrow ones and of

course it's got the gun built into it that is very cool having a look at its

body it's quite a slim body actually quite thin massive hair mane and a

traditional old school styled a backpack very cool and then you have the left arm

here which of course is holding the guitar area and we've got one head

option plus there's another head which is foot is standing on that is pretty

cool this of course is the right hand which is going to be controlling the

guitar it's actually holding this stick that does whatever the technical term is

that looks a little bit fragile but it's still very cool we've got a few shoulder

pieces the backpack and of course the back section of the marine so a lot of

detail very small piece of plastic for your

money but there's no doubt that this model looks absolutely awesome and I

can't wait to paint it however I'm not going to paint it in this very bright

and very glam rock very original 80s style let's face it very well painted

but it's painted in the old-school style of Marines and I don't plan to do that

for mine because I've already got my color scheme locked and loaded and

that's going to be pink and black so I'm gonna have to paint this guy to match it

would look really odd if I painted him differently because I actually want

to use him in my army but how am I going to use him in my army I already have 36

noise marines and they're all matching so this guy isn't of course matching now

I can sort him out with a base which is going to match my current basing system

but what am I going to do with him as a model I think I'm probably going to use

him as maybe a character possibly a HQ choice but I'd love some feedback on

that what model do you think I should use him as in my army I know lots of

people that bought these just to paint up in these glorious colors which

arguably I suppose I could do like I said I just don't think would match my army now

Leyland Test Track - Urban Exploring Infield Track of the Abandoned Circuit - Duration: 25:57.

Hello fellow circuit explorers.

Herman here, from Circuits of the past!

I'm here in the bush bush...

And I show you the entrance of the abandoned Leyland Test Track.

Yes, we're almost there...

Here we are, at the illegal entrance to the Leyland Test Track.

We enter the track on the high speed oval. But I'll show you the infield track now.

Here we are on the infield.

There are of lot of these kind of holes on the circuit ground.

I think they're from old traffic lights or sign posts.

Here we have an old sign post.

While we walk on this straight I give you some information about this abandoned circuit...

The Leyland Test Track was built in the late 1970s and opened in 1980.

The test circuit was mainly used to test trucks and busses, but it was also used for Rally Stages.

The test track contained an oval for high speed testing, with a long straight for high speed brake testing.

There was also had an infield circuit with two skid pans, several rumble strips and a test hill.

The Leyland Test Track closed in 2005 and since then it's abandoned.

Officially the track is not accessible, but there are several not official entrances, as you have seen at the beginning of this video.

On July 27, 2017 a plan was given green light to demolish the old test track and build 960 new houses on the site.

One year later I visited the abandoned circuit, just in time.

Here we are at the small skid pan.

As you can see on the map, there is also a big skid pan.

I'm not sure what that is...

I think a remain of a traffic light or something.

We're now at the big skid pan.

Here skidded the trucks...

To test them under difficult circumstances.

Here are the remains of the sprinkler installation...

To keep the skid pan wet.

We're now at the coolest part of this abandoned circuit...

The abandoned garage!

Looks like a scene from a horror movie. Hahaha.

We're now on a kind of a Tri-oval.

But not a high speed oval, but one with rumble strips.

Here's a remain of the abandoned garage...

The wind blew it all the way here.

I just told you something about this abandoned circuit, now some information about myself.

I'm Herman Liesemeijer, born on November 19, 1967 in a town called Heerenveen in the Netherlands.

My family was not realy a motorsport family, but my father was a frequent visitor of the Dutch TT at Assen in the 1950s.

My passion for motorsport started in the 80s. First watching motorcycle races and later car races.

When I had my drivers licence I went to the TT Circuit of Assen in the spring of 1989.

Those days the central part of the track was public road.

But also both loops were open for traffic. So you could do a complete lap.

Here I drove for the First time on a race track.

Off course it was dangerous, because it was actually a public road.

However, at the connections with the central part I was carefull.

But not everyone was so carefull. After some grave accidents the track closed for public in 1992.

At Assen, I learned the basics from circuit driving.

Later I did a racing course on Zandvoort. And I also was a frequent visitor of track days.

In the spring of 1998, I visited the abandoned Formula One circuit of Nivelles in Belgium.

It was the First time I saw such an abandoned race track and it impressed me…

It inspired me to start a website about lost race tracks.

Five years later I made the start with this website, the MSN Group Circuits of the past.

Another 5 years later, in 2008, the MSN Group became a real website and in 2010 I started this YouTube Channel.

Here's on of the corners of the Tri-oval.

The trees grow through the old surface.

On this straight is another rumble strip, with cobble stones.

I filmed this on Saturday July 28 (2018)...

This has been filmed on Tuesday July 31 (2018)...

I was on the way from Blackpool to Rippon...

And I want to do an extra visit to the Leyland Test Track...

Because it's such a cool place...

And in Blackpool I came to the idea to fly my drone through the abandoned garage...

On the way (to the abandoned garage) I filmed this part of the track, wich I didn't film a few days ago.

And there was also a strange surprise on this straight...

You may see that in few seconds on the horizon (Sorry for the mispronunciation)...

Here's the exit of the test hill...

I will show you that in a moment...

But what is this?!

A burned scooter!

It seems it had been stolen for joyriding...

Here on the old Leyland Test Track...

And then they burned it down.

It's a criminal act...

It happened also on the abandoned circuit of Nivelles. Even with stolen cars.

Yeah, it looks funny for the video...

But if this was your scooter, it's not funny!

This is the long braking straght...

Here they exit the oval, than they could test the brakes on the straight, at high speed.

but heck means like very or super, so you're super popular.

-Everyone wants to hang out with you. -Heck in ours, it's a slang word for hell.

-Yeah. Like what the heck? -Okay, so try not to use heck in front of an American person

It's not so bad... but yeah.

-Pae-bahk-can-t (빼박캔트) -I have no feeling about that one

-Really? Nothing negative, nothing positive or weird? -Just sounds like a word

It means there is hard evidence or it's proven, so there is nothing you can do about it.

Okay. That doesn't sound so bad.

Okay.

-Gap-bun-ssa. (갑분싸) -죽을래? (Do you want to die?)

What? Does it sound bad?

I feel like it was almost like Klingon

Like you're about to try and insult me in Klingon.

Oh really? Mm.. okay. It's actually a bad word.

Aah.. I got that one.

Alright so, when someone says something, it sounds so bad.

You know, it goes completely quiet that people look at you like, what?

Ah~

Yeah, so the atmosphere is down because someone says something

awkward, weird, bad, whatever.

I just go cricket, cricket.

Dding-un (띵언). Okay.

How does it sound? Cute.

Dding-un (띵언) is actually a good word. It's like great advice, a great line, good quote.

So, it's like, something good, something that helps you.

Something that sounds really nice.

Aha, I'm getting pretty good at this, aren't I?

-Ang-gi-mo-ti (앙 기모띠) -Do I have, like a a vision problem?

It reminds me of glasses.

It's from an internet streamer,

he started using it when he's happy,

Okay. jon (존) is usually like "very" so, Jon-mat-tang (존맛탱) is something, when something is very very delicious.

Yeah, so they sometimes notice that it's a good word

or sometimes they think it sounds like a bad word.

So it really depends, they don't always know whether it's a good word or not.

I suppose it depends on how you say it.

If you're talking to someone who doesn't have any idea

about the language you can say a really bad word

with a smile on your face and get away with it.

Right, I just remembered the story you told me about the old man, you know, myself.

The intonation of it was very simple. The man grabbed my wrist to try and talk to me

I pulled away and he started mumbling something under his breath

and it sounded like a curse, the way he said it. So I stopped, turned around and looked at him slowly,

and he realized that I picked up on that, so he was like "myself, myself."

-Yeah, this was what happened in Korea like, 10 years ago? -It was a long time ago.
