Youtube daily report Sep 30 2017

: TELEMUNDO NETWORK

THE LORD OF THE SKIES

What's wrong, Mr. Tony?

Nothing! Just do what I asked.

Did you locate the people I asked?

Yes, Mr. Tony.

We have people watching Rutila Casillas.

Monica Robles hasn't left her house.

We're keeping track of who comes and goes into the house.

Perfect. And our guest?

Here she comes.

-My painkiller. -Yes, sir.

I'm glad I finally get to meet my benefactor.

-Pleased to meet you. -The pleasure's all mine.

But don't call me a benefactor. It doesn't suit me.

Partner is better, wouldn't you agree?

Have you been treated well?

Yes.

I'm glad.

-Care to sit down? -Thanks.

I wanted to talk to you

because I think we're going to do great things together.

First, however, we have to take care of a little problem.

Is that so?

Uh-huh. Yes.

I can't discuss it with Monica. She has her own priorities.

Her son would be affected so it's understandable.

She and that bastard have a son together.

Your situation's different, though.

He's hunting you down, Esperanza.

My question for you is:

Are you willing to side with me so we may hunt him down?

THE LORD OF THE SKIES

Is he talking yet?

He hasn't changed his story, boss.

----!

I thought he'd be missing his teeth and nails by now.

No wonder he's not talking.

He's got -----, though.

Yeah, yeah...

I doubt it.

Zopi, clean him up.

I don't want Penumbra to whine about him looking like crap.

He's gonna have fun here, isn't he?

That's right, Mr. Aurelio. We'll treat him right.

Right on!

Well... Catch you later.

Let's go.

Carmen's good company.

She's great help at the company and around the house.

She keeps an eye on those rowdy kids.

Especially Isidro, Monica.

Don't mess with my son! He's an angel.

Miss.

Your father's here.

What's up?

Isn't this something?

Is this the business you had to do in Mexico City?

Hello, Aurelio.

Remember when I told you we had to speak in person?

Listen, I don't care what you say.

It's not looking good.

There are plenty of women out there.

Why pick one of Aurelio Casillas'?

Are you covering for these two, honey?

THE LORD OF THE SKIES

You're an elegant, intelligent, and sophisticated woman.

How could you let things with Aurelio get to where they got?

It's simple.

Men like you are very good persuadiers.

Wait a second.

Are you putting me in the same boat as Aurelio?

-Are we that similar? -No, you two are nothing alike.

I'm only talking about power.

You're similar in that way. Power is very seductive.

Sometimes it can weaken smart and cunning women like myself.

Sorry for my lack of modesty.

Don't apologize.

I love when people know their worth and fight for respect.

I'm happy you're here.

And I'm happy about our alliance.

Cheers.

And thank you for everything, Tony.

It's been a while since I felt comfortable anywhere.

I'm happy to hear that.

But I'm going to have to ask you again.

Have you thought about what I said?

I wanted to talk to Monica before making my decision.

This would be the third time I'd be starting over

and now I don't know what to do with my life.

You're a direct and formidable woman.

We can't fire a single shot.

That's going to be a little complicated.

It's a figure of speech.

If anyone gets hurt or dies, it can't be on TV.

Otherwise, we'll be in a lot of trouble.

Plus, we don't have any military presence here, right?

No, there's no one here.

This is guerrilla territory.

We also can't count on the Venezuelan military either.

Those bastards turned on us

and are part of the drug business, too.

Nice outlook... in the middle of the jungle,

y unlucky.

But I'd rather she wasted her time than with you

than with anyone else.

I know you after all.

I was hoping you'd approve.

Thanks, Aurelio.

If you take good care of her and my grandson, I'm ok with it.

I kind of knew this would happen when I sent you with the money.

I'll tell you this, though. Your daughter's just like you.

She's no walk in the park.

Who said good things were easy?

Let's see if you're good enough for her.

I hope you guys can stay in the sidelines.

You should take her to Colombia.

You'll do better over there than here.

If she's into it, I don't mind.

Where do you feel safer?

I feel great when I'm in Colombia.

Aurelio, you know the way things work.

Where there's money, there's happiness.

I feel great in my country.

And th

You can't go around showing them you're afraid.

It's not about fear.

I just want you to know who we're going up against

and what we're getting ourselves into.

Those people are different. They're not afraid of dying.

You should see the amounts of people they find

in places like Quintana Roo, Guerrero...

They don't care. They're ruthless.

It's all they have.

Wait a second.

You think we're nuns here in Colombia.

No...

You think we're like Mother Theresa of Calcutta.

No.

If there's anything Colombians can do, it's kill.

This is a very violent country.

100 years of war killing each other off.

It's all we do.

We're experts at killing each other!

You know something? Let's leave it there.

I'm going to get annoyed.

How about we change the subject and have some fun?

MEXICO CITY

I miss your scent so much.

I'll always miss yours.

You know what, "REVOLUTIONARY TERRITORY"

At least they're nice enough to warn us.

Send in some scouts to avoid any surprises.

Understood.

Guys!

You go on ahead. Keep your radios on.

-Be careful. -Yes, sir.

Castillo, no matter what happens,

we're headed back to Europe.

We can't come up empty-handed.

I hope Salazar's still alive.

We'll use our GPS to find him.

If his tracking chip is still on, we will.

I've got my people working on the tanker.

If it changes ports,

that means my president spilled the beans...

unless they got Salazar to talk.

No.

Salazar has guerrilla training.

He can withstand torture. Let's hope he's still alive.

-We're close. -Yeah.

Let's go!

Come on.

I was spot-on with last night's celebration.

It did you well. You look radiant.

You were right, Tony.

Cheers.

A toast to our recreational study of the female form.

Are you serious?

Birds of a feather flock together.

I'm meeting with some Koreans at the World Trade Center.hm

Thanks, Dad.

What are you going to do now?

I'm going to put my master plan into play and hope it works.

My goal is to reach the top.

I got distracted with Pilar's passing and all,

but I'm back on the grind now.

Well, you've made one step in the right direction

by letting Monica see Isidro.

Oh, Isidro...

I'll change his name the first chance I get.

I don't care if Monica gets pissed.

She did that just to ---- with me!

------- with me is her favorite sport...

but I won't stand for it.

I'm going to start clapping back.

I can't let her get away with everything.

That's the only way you guys know how to interact.

I don't even care anymore.

If that's true, you're wrong.

Am I, Monica?

Necessity drives people to do bad things.

You and I have an agreement. I didn't sell you out.

-Did you see Aurelio or not? -Yes.

I did, but I never gave him my phone or told him where I was.

I made sure I wasn't followed and I avoided your place,

so they couldn't have found out through me.

Castillo! Get me out of here.

Are you badly injured? Can you walk?

I'll run if it means getting out.

Get me out of here!

-Alright. -Did you bring the army?

I'm with Colon and a few other men.

No one knows we're here. We can't can't make mistakes.

Alright, now untie me!

We need to rescue the other hostages!

Come on!

-Done. -Help me.ld on.

What's up, Penumbra?

I've been expecting your call.

Oh, Aurelio. You know ---- happens, right?

Don't bite my head off.

You know I didn't have enough men to guard that guy.

I couldn't predict a team would swoop in and rescue him.

You've gone soft since the peace treaty negotiations started.

What do you mean he got away?

Damn it! I should've taken him myself!

I agree! even after I helped you.ow

No, that's not the way things happened.

You're looking at this the wrong way.

I have been for a long time.

Let's leave it at that.

Who knows what'll happen?

As you wish.

It's nearing the Canary Islands.

It's only a matter of time

till they decide where to stake their downfall.

If they station themselves there, we'll ambush them...

but if they make it through the Strait of Gibraltar

and out to Spanish waters,

we'll be in big trouble with Venezuela.

Colon's filed for approval of the search and seizure.

Pretty much everyone's aware

that my country's turned into a narcostate.

SurI've got a bad feelingken a very vocabout this.gainst it,

What is it?

Something smells funny.

I can feel it in my bones. Something's wrong.

Well?

Call that damn Ahmed.

Oh...

I just got a message from Ahmed.

There's police activity at the port.

They're out to get us, Aurelio.

Madame?

There are about 15 men here.

DEA agents, from the looks of it.

----! There are 15 of them.

We're outnumbered, but we're crazy as hell.

What's wrong, Dad? Is the tanker held up?

Something like that.

-I'll tell you later. -Alright.

Ninon, call Ahmed and tell him to hold his ground.

See you later.

Hold on.

I didn't come all the way here to sit around.

I'm coming with you.

Besides, I know how to use one of these.

You're full of surprises.

Alright, then. Let's go.

Well, let's do this already. There's no time to waste.

Ninon is accompanied by some other men she just met with.

Casillas among them, surely.

Don't let them out of your sight.

Keep me informed. Bye.

-You called for me, sir? -Yes.

It's like I made a pact with the devil!

He lives off of the souls of the dead, and I'm next!

I can't take this anymore.

Esperanza, listen to me.

First off, stop thinking about Aurelio.

Okay?

Look at me, damn it!

I'm here! I'm alive!

Do you want me to show you my battle scars?

If I managed to escape death, so can you.

You don't have to become another of Aurelio's victims.

What about you?

You're one of his victims, too.

What I'm saying is,

you can't let fear ---- up your life forever.

You've mentally accepted your role as Aurelio's prey.

Flo-Jo The Fashion Trailblazer | Fashion Behind the Games - Duration: 3:13.

(FASHION MOMENT FLORENCE GRIFFITH JOYNER)

Meet Dolorez Florence Griffith Joyner.

But let's call her Flo-Jo,

as everybody knows her.

She was an American track and field athlete

that changed the face of sports in the 1980s

until she became a fashion legend.

Let's see. Born in Los Angeles to a humble family

in the early '60s,

the young Flo-Jo was one of a kind.

By the time she was seven, she was running free

in the desert.

A few years later, Flo-Jo was running for her high school

in Los Angeles,

where she showed her own passion -

fashion.

By that time, she was a cheerful girl

in love with the sport.

But at the age of 19,

she had to quit to help her family's economy.

So she went to work in a bank.

Yeah. Boring, right?

But then,

she met this guy.

Bob Kersee was a legendary track coach

who trained many of the most memorable athletes.

So he helped her to gain a place at UCLA,

and they began to work seriously.

And now...

in this very hot day in Los Angeles,

a gentle breeze starts to blow.

In the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles,

Flo-Jo won the silver medal.

Good enough, but what the people mostly remember

about her were her eccentric looks.

Mainly her long and wild fingernails.

From this moment, Flo-Jo became

sort of an attraction in the Games.

With her strong personality

and unique style,

all the eyes were upon her to see what was next.

She still had to work, and during her free nights,

she styled her friends' hair and nails.

Flo-Jo never quit on her passions.

In this you have to be very relaxed.

Once you reach your high rate of velocity,

then you just try to relax and maintain

that speed that you've built

and just carry through the finish line.

Then came her enormous success in Seoul,

winning four gold medals and a silver too.

After that, she became popular around the world.

And all thanks to these two things -

performance and style.

Flo-Jo kept working on her looks

as a part of a strategy to go further.

As you can see, her outfits were really something.

Laces, fluorescence...

and even a one-legged suit.

It would be these bold fashion decisions

made by Flo-Jo that would open the door

to many athletes that followed her.

Today, after almost 30 years,

she is considered the fastest woman

of all time.

And her records stand alone

with her personal and unique style.

She loved the game, and she made a statement

that still lives on today.

The modern generation will still look at her

as an inspiration.

Chijin no ai / Love For An Idiot (1967) [ Yasuzo Masumura] Eng. & Esp. Subs. - Duration: 1:32:25.

Jyoji.

You don't play volley ball?

I've never been good at sports.

You're not good at drinking, slot machines...

or playing mah-jong either.

Yea, I hate gambling.

You're a very serious man.

How can you release all your pressure from work...

if you don't cut loose.

You can't get rid of your work pressures.

You're already 31 years old.

At least get married or something.

You tell me, what do you think?

I don't know what other people think,

but marriage is for a lifetime.

I need to consider it.

I don't know what to tell you.

What do you think?

Actually I have a little pet at home.

A bet?

A pet? That's good.

What? A dog or a cat?

A chicken?

It's a cat.

What kind of cat?

What kind of cat? A Persian? A mountain cat?

A very lovely mixed breed.

It is so beautiful, I can't describe it in words.

Jyoji.

Just get off work?

You want a lift?

Thanks.

Thanks.

Jyoji.

You don't look well.

You need to take it easy.

I can get you some time off.

Thanks, that's okay.

If your face continues to look...

so pale and worn...

it won't help your position at the job.

Excuse me.

I'm home.

Hey, I'm home!

It's me!

Where are you?

You're hiding somewhere again.

Here?

Can't be there!

Must be hiding here!

Ah ha! I got you!

Got you!

Okay! Finally got you!

You're back.

How do you like the way...

this swim suit feels?

So beautiful.

Let's take some pictures.

CHI JIN NO AI (A Fool's Love)

The first time I saw Naomi was at...

a coffee shop.

She was known to be a grumpy and rude waitress,

but even so, she was a smart girl.

She was just wasting her time in that coffee shop.

She had a special name...

and was very educated.

She was a very nice girl,

the kind you would like to marry.

She worked in a bar at night,

and spent her days in a hotel.

Fortunately, I had an arrangement with her family.

They lived in a small cottage.

I saw a photograph of her near the house.

It looked to be near the sea.

It was sunny.

Naomi looked like she liked it very much.

Even though I said she would be a nice girl to marry,

I still would not marry her.

She's more like a daughter to me.

She sees me as an old man with too much passion.

Of course, we sleep in separate beds.

Naomi learned to swim.

She looks so beautiful when she swims.

Just like a little frog.

She always has a lot of energy,

jumping around like a kitten.

Her body,

breasts,

waist, feet,

her entire body is so smooth.

Tender packaging for all her charms.

What a beautiful body!

You are such a bright girl.

You're disgusting!

Not good!

But you need to study English harder.

Become even smarter.

I would rather be your wife,

than to become smarter.

Marry me.

It is too soon.

I will marry you when you become a more beautiful...

and smarter adult.

If we get married,

I will study harder.

Please marry me!

Hurry up!

It's tough for me too.

You should be more patient.

I hate having to wait.

Marry me now.

Naomi.

Okay, Naomi.

Really?

Sure.

Honey.

You!

What are you looking at?

Things are getting good now.

Stop it!

I wanna see!

You are so bad!

Hello.

Jyoji.

I need to ask a favor of you today.

What would that be?

Don't be so formal. Come inside.

Please. Please.

Sorry it's so dirty in here,

but we are all just like family.

So what brings you here?

Actually...

I want to have Naomi... officially.

You do? We agreed on just one year.

Last night, for the first time, we did what a husband and wife should do.

I just wanted to inform you properly.

So you're saying you had not had sex with her until last night?

Please...

Mr. Jyoji didn't do...

"that thing" with Naomi for the entire year.

No wonder you did so well in college.

You can go now.

Call me if you need more.

Okay.

You're great.

My savings are about 76,000 yen.

That is equal to the earnings of three people in the countryside.

It's not really all that much money,

but if I gave it all...

No need to worry about that.

She has always been spoiled.

It is up to you how you want to treat her.

I am not the sort of mother who cannot live without her daughter.

I don't have any complaints.

It's hot in here, mother.

Ah Naomi, you are looking very pretty these days.

Hello.

Excuse me.

I've been looking for you everywhere.

Where have you been?

You stopped working?

Now I am a bar girl and just drink with the customers.

I start tomorrow.

Being a bar girl is more decent.

And you can still do the old work once in a while.

Just let some men look at my body for 7000 yen.

Naomi, you could do that too.

It's a decent living.

I---

hate that...

dirty family.

I've tried hard to break ties with them.

I am lucky,

thanks to you.

It is me who is lucky.

To have you as my wife.

Will your mother...

approve our marriage?

No problem.

Don't worry about that.

Darling...

don't abandon me.

I promise to be a good wife for you.

I live for you.

If that is want you want, I will try.

Study harder. Become a better woman.

I will.

I will try to study English. And piano.

I won't let you down.

Naomi.

My mother in the country forgave me...

and helped me to get Naomi's name registered.

Of course we sleep together.

We have a big bed now.

But I told her...

the wedding would not be for another two or three years.

We shared the happy world of a couple.

That is hard for a single person to understand.

Her body is more and more beautiful.

More like a woman's.

Her breasts are larger too.

Fuller.

God is so generous.

But a good girl...

and a smart girl are not the same thing.

"Rake clothes, for example...

Naomi always prefers...

things with bright, garish colors.

Cheap...

and tasteless.

She has bought many such clothes.

I spent 20,000 yen on a piano for her,

and now she refuses to play, because she does not like the teacher.

She hasn't the patience to learn,

and is soon bored with this and that.

She is still too young.

And she is too lazy.

She never cooks or does laundry.

We eat out all the time.

She never cleans up the house when it is dirty.

And another thing,

it's really hard to keep her satisfied.

I'm bored.

Is there anything else to do?

I feel like eating.

Is there anything good to eat?

Honey!

I feel very unsatisfied!

You should do something for me.

It's time for you to study English.

Here, read this article for me.

I can't.

You've been studying for two years!

You can't even read this simple English!

Dumb ass!

If I can't, I can't!

Then practice until you can.

Do it now. Even if you have to...

practice all night long.

What are you doing?

Trying to rebel?

Naomi...

Did you lie to me when you said you would try your best to be a good girl?

It was a lie.

Very well then,

we won't get married.

You can get out of my house.

Go back to your dirty family.

Get out!

You hear me?

Do you want to listen...

to me or not?

Make it clear! what do you want?

You want to go back to your family?

What do you want? Decide!

Okay...

If I have to study...

study with somebody...

together with somebody...

then there is a man from America.

I want to study with him.

Can I?

No!

You'll just stop after a while.

I will try to behave this time.

That foreigner speaks with such clear pronunciation.

He can surely help my English studies.

I will try very hard.

Okay?

Really?

I'll study very hard!

I will study three times a week. I'll apply myself.

Well... okay.

I am so happy!

Darling.

I love you so much.

The reason I hate English...

is because people call me stupid.

It makes me angry.

So I act like I can't speak it.

Really?

Of course.

Who can't speak this simple English?

There you go.

Isn't it funny?

You had me fooled, then.

Right!

Aren't I clever?

You're awesome!

Am I?

Then apologize to me!

Now, run!

What should I do?

Faster!

Faster!

So what do you say?

You need next month's pay now?

Yes.

I am suddenly short of money.

The manager says you'll get a good bonus...

at the end of the year.

Why do you need so much money?

You're still single, right?

How can you have such problems?

It's hard to talk about.

Can you advance me some money?

The company doesn't allow it.

I'll bend the rules for you,

but just be aware of what you're doing.

Thank you very much.

Don't.

Don't do it that way.

Please do it harder.

I'll draw blood if I do it any harder.

It's okay.

It feels good!

I've got to go.

I'll come back tomorrow.

You're home.

Who was that young man?

What young man?

What do you mean?

Don't play dumb!

I saw him!

Oh, you mean Putian.

He's just a student,

who studies with me.

What are you talking about?

Oh, I can't take it!

We're students of the same teacher.

Don't you know that?

What was he doing here?

He was here to tell me about a party.

A party?

Yeah, our party.

You're invited, of course.

I won't go!

You must!

I bought a new dress for it.

Just got it today.

What!

How much?

50,000 yen.

How does it look?

Isn't it beautiful?

But it has some problems.

My neck won't look pretty in it without a necklace.

You've bought so many new things lately, haven't you?

But none of those match this dress.

I still want a new necklace.

Can I have one?

How much?

About 200,000 yen.

Please?

You'll get it for me eventually.

Are you kidding me?

Where am I going to get 200,000 yen?

You spend too month. We're in the red every month.

Our savings are all gone!

I had to borrow money from the company even!

We can try to get a bank loan.

The more, the better.

Don't be stupid!

Okay, let's play cards. If I win, you buy me the necklace.

Let's see who'll win.

Don't flaunt your body so easily!

You win.

In the game between men and women...

we have to try all kinds of tricks.

"Men always use

two arms to hug."

Isn't it the same?

First off, forget about the necklace.

200,000 yen? Impossible!

Why?

We can sell the land in the country.

That's my mother's land.

Oh, that's just great.

Lie more!

What did you say to my mother?

"A house in the country."

"I won't let Naomi suffer."

But the necklace is too much money.

It's my dream.

You said you'd help me realize my dreams.

You've been lying to me!

Naomi...

It's enough!

I'm not going to the party!

I won't study either.

I won't be a GOOD GIRL!

Stupid clothes!

Stop!

Liar!

Naomi!

Are you angry'?

Don't act this way!

Please, don't be angry.

Open your eyes.

I'll get you the necklace.

Are you happy now?

Really?

Won't it be unbearable for your mother in the country?

It's okay.

I will persuade her.

You're so lovely.

Right?

Come on.

Honey!

What's wrong?

Why are you still so sad?

Yeah.

I hate it!

No...

Why are you still crying?

I am so happy.

I'm so touched.

Maybe I shouldn't cry.

But I can't help it.

I was offered an opportunity at work.

Aren't you worn out?

The truth is I am short 5000 yen every month.

I hope the stocks keep going up.

What do you think?

What about the money I used to send you,

10,000 yen every month?

I can't make it on that anymore.

I still need to pay back the bank loan.

I can't do it with the money I make now.

I only need 300,000 yen.

The real estate market is booming. More houses in this area.

If we sell the land...

what are you talking about?

You're usually so direct a man,

but now you beat around the bush.

What do you mean?

What does Naomi want now?

A car?

Or a diamond?

A new necklace.

If you spoil her too much,

there will be problems.

It's not like that.

I want to spend money to please her.

You do?

Of course I love you the most, "mom".

Naomi is always second to you.

I want to make her a special woman, like you.

How do you know how I feel?

What do you mean?

It matches my dress perfectly.

So nice.

Oh, you...

Don't be like this.

Put on some nice clothes, please.

You'll embarrass me if you wear that suit.

Let's not be late; it's impolite.

Let's get a taxi, then.

Why?

It is only one kilometre from here to there, right?

Do I look like I can walk that far in such a nice dress?

I don't want to walk!

It would be nice if we had a car now.

Let's get a taxi.

Don't call me by my name in front of other people.

Call me Miss Naomi.

I'm a lady.

You look nice tonight. Lovely dress.

Of course.

I'm not in the same class as you guys.

Good evening.

This is Yamamoto. This is Jiyongto.

We study English together.

Nice to meet you.

What's your name?

May I borrow Miss Naomi?

Please.

Mr. Jyoji, what do you drink? Wine or beer?

I don't drink.

How about a soft drink, then?

When did Naomi learn to dance?

Please.

Your wife loves dancing very much.

The way foreigners do.

She helps me to study.

She studies hard.

Really?

I hate that guy.

Jiyongto...

Please get me a glass of wine.

Naomi...

do you drink?

When did you begin drinking?

It doesn't really matter.

Just a little sip.

It's your turn.

Let's dance.

I can't dance like this.

Don't worry.

Just move with the music.

It's good exercise.

What're you doing?

No! No!

What're you doing?

Forget it.

You ruin the mood.

Just stop.

Troublesome old people.

He can't do anything right.

That's your style, though.

You should be more patient with him.

I just won't dance anymore, if you don't like it.

Let's dance.

Amazing.

He's a real charmer.

Idiot! Why did you drink so much?

"Rake it easy.

I haven't had this much fun in a long time.

Naomi can't walk in this condition.

I'll take you guys home.

Okay, all ready to go.

Not yet.

I want some more to drink.

Please.

Thank you.

Sorry.

No problem.

Is this your car?

Very nice.

I want you to buy me a car.

Please.

Don't talk nonsense.

What's up?

I don't know.

What's the problem?

It won't start at all.

I'll just leave it here.

I'll take it to the garage tomorrow.

Let's walk home.

How?

You're both from Tokyo...

There are no buses this late.

Let's get a cab.

Do you have any money?

I only have 200 yen.

What the...

I don't have any, either.

I have some money.

Don't waste it.

You can stay at our house.

But we have no extra beds.

No need to sleep on the sofa.

We can share the bed.

For fun!

But...

Don't be shy.

Let's go.

Now this is the best part.

You guys lay there, side by side.

I will lie next to your heads.

I see.

You too, hurry.

This is so much fun.

Like a pig SW-

Stop talking!

Can't we stay by ourselves?

Of course.

What if we can't fall asleep easily?

Isn't that good?

I just can't sleep tonight, no matter what.

I need some sleep.

Sleep well, then.

Try to get some sleep, then.

Right, Jiyongto?

Can you sleep without sleeping pills?

I can barely close my eyes, with a woman next to me.

I am okay.

Really?

Sure.

Okay.

Turn off the light.

Keep it out of my face.

That hurts!

Yamamoto...

do you wanna smoke?

You're annoying.

Be quiet.

Really.

Yes or no?

You don't want me to sleep, right?

That hurts!

Don't beat me.

You can't do this.

Can't you show me some respect?

Honey...

face this way.

What're you doing over there?

Be quiet.

He's asleep.

Can you believe he is able to sleep?

He's just pretending.

Come on, face us!

It's not good to stay all alone.

You're drunk. Leave me alone.

How about this...

let me put my leg like this.

That's enough! You!

Make it my fault again!

You told me you can't stand me this way.

There are other people here tonight, so you tolerate me.

What are you doing?

Can you please fight tomorrow?

Be fair to everyone here tonight.

Am I not fair now?

Of course I am.

Right-foot husband.

Left-foot Jiyoji.

How about me?

You're the most special one.

I let you put your head right here.

So special!

Are you going to be this way all night?

What are you going to do when you're asleep?

Which head am I supposed to sleep with?

This way... or that way?

I'm okay with either way, since I'm in the middle.

I prefer leg to head.

This woman sleeps in a horrible posture!

You'll be kicked during the night.

Is that true, Mr. Jyoji?

Yes.

I will lick your feet.

Isn't it good?

My husband always licks my feet.

He says feet taste better than the face.

Right?

I don't know.

For the sake of fairness, I will lick both off and on.

Let me start from here, honey.

Okay, go to sleep.

It tickles...

Now it's your turn.

Relax.

We are like kids, only touching.

Don't worry, I won't do anything too wild.

Those two still sleeping?

Yea, like babies.

Get them up. I want them to leave with me.

Leave them alone.

They're just lazy students.

Naomi...

Of course...

if...

I had a relationship with them,

I wouldn't let them stay here.

But yesterday they acted strange. That's why.

That's why.

They have crude manners,

like gangsters,

but they are just regular guys.

They won't do anything bad.

I hope not.

It's 7:30.

You're gonna be late if you don't leave.

Okay.

ME Jyoji...

what happened to you?

What?

Well...

I know what your cat looks like now.

Pretty big cat!

Amazing.

I thought you were the only serious person left in the world.

How'd you guys found out about this?

You don't think we're your friends?

Just tell us if you have a girlfriend.

We were all worried about your marriage.

Sorry.

Actually, it's complicated.

You don't have to say sorry.

You're a grown man.

It's okay to have a girlfriend.

That's your decision.

Actually, she is not my girlfriend.

You're not serious about her?

Is that true? It's just a game?

Okay.

So she's...

not the one you're going to marry?

Is that true?

What do you mean?

Mark my words...

if she keeps hanging out with those students,

and you don't keep her in line,

you're going to get a big surprise.

Exactly.

Why don't you get me a girl like that?

I wanna have some fun too.

What are you trying to tell me?

Naomi!

Where are you!?

Naomi!

Naomi!

Naomi!

Naomi!

Naomi!

What!

You're so annoying.

What happened to those two?

Where are they?

They left in their car.

Car?

Wasn't it broken down?

What do you think?

You're sweating badly.

Let me wipe it off for you.

Stop it!

What's wrong?

Why?

You know why.

Naomi.

Those guys are my co-workers' brothers.

They haven't finished college yet.

Yes?

They told me something...

that you got naked with them!

Is that true?

What's so funny?

It's not funny!

Yes!

It's not funny at all.

Baby,

you really believe all that silly gossip?

Nonsense.

You really believe it to be true?

That guy wouldn't lie.

Well...

Do you have any proof?

Did you see me make out with them?

No. Right?

I'm just close to them is all.

I'm like a boy in some ways.

I want to hang out with everybody.

Did you do it or not?

Yes.

It's your fault.

You spoil me too much.

But I didn't do anything bad,

until now.

I haven't forgotten how you allowed me...

to be with other men.

It's impossible.

What do you think?

I don't care what people say about me.

I'm a slut anyway.

Not educated. No manners.

But...

you can't think about me that way.

When you talk about me like that...

it is just too cold-blooded.

I feel horrible!

If you...

feel this way,

then check out my body to see...

if it's polluted.

I know!

Put them back on.

You still don't believe me!

Okay!

I won't study English or piano anymore.

I won't see anybody.

I'll just stay home alone all day.

From morning to night.

All day.

You'd be lonely.

No problem.

Those students are my only friends, anyway.

I am okay with just you.

Naomi...

why don't you have a baby? Become a mother?

Trust me...

we'd be a happier couple if we had a baby.

No.

You treat me like I'm your daughter.

You said I'm a naughty girl. Remember?

Don't you want to do that...

when I have grown more?

You don't love me anymore, right?

You're tired of me, right?

I like being this way.

It's the arrangement from the beginning.

Let's be like before.

Naomi, don't change the subject.

Okay, I see.

You hate me. I am bigger now.

You don't like me this way.

Right?

Am I right?

Let me get on you.

Okay?

Stop fooling around.

Come Oh.

Okay.

Why is this horse so small?

Giddy-up! Come on, run!

What're you stopping for?

Are you leaving?

Just like that?

Never coming back?

That man.

Forget it.

See you tomorrow.

Please, come in.

Why in such a rush?

It doesn't start until nine.

It's an emergency.

Hey!

Jyoji is having an emergency.

Hey!

Good morning.

What's happened?

Please help me with these suitcases.

Don't give them to Naomi...

if she asks for them.

If she comes,

please call me right away. Here's the number.

I can't do it.

I'm going out right now.

I can't wait here all day.

You always wanted it, didn't you?

If you don't help me, I'll tell all the neighbors about you.

You're an idiot. A pervert.

Oh, that's too bad.

Well, thanks for your help.

You've really got balls!

I'll remember this.

Open the door.

Open the door now.

What happened, ma'am?

The doorbell doesn't work.

The phone is out too.

Could you please help me make a call?

Where to?

Tokyo.

106040.

Please.

Do me this favor.

Hello?

Jyoji, come here.

My wife told me...

that a young man went to your place.

He's still there.

Get up! Now!

Mr. Jyoji.

It's you! You're having an affair with her.

No.

Yes.

Tell me the truth! Or...

Sorry.

I am having an affair with Naomi.

I thought we would be okay.

I'll take whatever punishment you give me.

When did it start?

Here, the first time we met.

When I was here?

No.

She said she was lonely. All alone here.

She asked me to come over.

It all happened here?

I'm really sorry...

But I really do love Naomi.

We had an agreement.

You want to do this behind my back with her forever?

No.

The reason we finally did it is...

we didn't think you'd find out.

But you found out.

She said she would be with me forever.

I don't know what to do.

She said that?

But...

not only did you get cheated,

she cheated on me as well.

She's not married to me though,

so it's not my fault.

I regret it.

I shouldn't have done this.

I care too much for her.

You promised to marry her?

No.

She was just saying that.

That's why it happened between you and her.

No, there are other men.

Naomi is guilty.

Yamamoto is guilty too.

Where is Naomi?

She took my clothes,

then went to see Yamamoto.

Where?

The beach.

She's gone.

Put this on and get the fuck out of here.

Only you.

You're the best.

Bad.

Do you need me to lick it for you?

You are bad.

It feels good.

Naomi...

your skin.

I really try to take care of it for you,

but you've...

ruined it.

What are you talking about?

You're the only one who really likes it.

Isn't that so?

I've tried to put up with you.

You are my wife.

Wife?

Don't say that.

I'm just a pet cat...

for you to play with.

You only want my body.

You don't feel you have to apologize at all?

That's right.

What do you think?

Naomi...

this is your last chance.

Tell me you're sorry...

about what you did...

with Yamamoto...

and the other men.

No.

I'd rather die.

I'm also a human being with needs.

Then get out of here!

Now!

Get out! Out!

Go back to your filthy home!

Forgive me, please.

I'll change. Forgive me.

There's no second chance!

Please.

I can't trust you anymore.

Get out.

Okay. Okay, I'm leaving.

Going.

I can't wear...

this outside.

Let me change clothes.

Get out the way you are.

I'll send your suitcases to you.

To wherever you're staying.

Really.

Then... see you.

Thanks for taking care of me for so long.

You can get out now.

You said you were going to take me to a hotel in Tokyo.

Naomi...

when people are playing,

they can do whatever they want.

When they are serious,

they have to be serious.

I was pretty bad when I was a student.

I am going to find a good job after graduation,

but you don't have the same goals.

You're great.

Just great.

Where're you going to stay tonight?

"Io be honest, you should...

just go back to Jyoji.

Thanks for your advice.

Women like me...

can stay wherever they want.

Really? Good.

You've had a lot of problems with your work.

Show up late. Leave early.

Miss a lot.

What's going on?

Sorry.

Simple men like you...

are easily upset by women.

Am I right?

Did you get too mixed up with Naomi?

Best if I just break up with her?

Break up?

Yeah.

Better to break up, if you have nothing in common.

She's dragging you down.

Give you some advice:

best to find a better wife next time.

Also, watch your work, so you don't get fired.

Got it.

I'll watch out.

Mr. Jyoji-

what are you doing here?

Is Naomi here?

No.

She's not here.

Strange.

Thanks.

She hasn't come by?

She said she would be here.

No, really. Not since last time with you.

Don't ask anymore.

Sorry to bother you.

What's going on?

Must be a lover's spat.

If you see her,

will you let me know?

Okay.

But that kid always hated this house.

Always ran away before.

Wouldn't come back.

You can check back for her around here.

Girls always come back.

Girls like her are just that way.

It's her nature.

Naomi!

Hello.

Naomi?

What old man from the country?

What? Mother's house?

Really? Naomi is a girl like that?

It's because she is not educated.

She can't help but run around...

wild like that.

No, it's not like that.

I spoiled her too much.

That's why.

You mean it's your fault?

Yours.

Why me?

I thought she was like you.

I should have cared for her the way I did you.

Like I slept with you when I was a baby.

I treated her too good.

So it's all your fault.

Really?

I'm the bad person?

Yes.

It's your fault I am a man like this.

If you feel this way,

better I die sooner.

Yes.

Mother,

what's wrong?

Mother!

She's gone.

Mother, please forgive me...

for saying things like that.

You did nothing wrong.

Naomi is the bad person.

I will forget about her.

So, please forgive me, mother.

Please.

Jyoji.

It's you.

Your suit. I'm returning it.

Okay.

Okay.

And, by the way,

I know where Naomi is.

I don't want to know anything about that woman.

I have totally given up.

Oh, really.

Better this way.

Me too.

I'll be leaving.

Wait.

Since you're here,

why not have some wine?

I thought you didn't drink.

I want to drink, even if I can't.

Come on.

You're pretty good at drinking.

Just doing my best.

You're a great person, Jyoji.

To love Naomi so much.

I just can't...

I can't forget all those rumors.

What rumors?

She had affairs with all sorts of men.

And not only Japanese.

Even foreigners.

Playing around with all kinds of men.

Like a toy.

Only you...

let me see what kind of person she really is.

She's evil.

And yet...

I still love her.

She is my first love. Powerful.

Like strong liquor.

After the first sip, you can't stop.

Only want more and more.

Even if you're hurt.

Just for a moment of joy...

that a woman like her can bring.

Only her.

She is...

the only woman I tried to train.

That Naomi.

Naomi...

Such a sweet name.

Naomi...

is a good woman.

Jyoji...

how did you find such a good woman as her?

You're so happy...

to love her so much.

Thank you.

Please don't abandon her.

Okay.

If you give her up,

somebody will hurt her.

What you're talking about?

No, you're a good man.

Please visit me often.

No.

I won't come by again.

I want to forget her.

Good evening.

What're you doing here?

I came to get my clothes.

Can I?

How did you get in?

The patio.

And I still have a set of keys.

Please leave the key here.

Okay.

"lake all your things away.

I can't.

There are too many things to take at one time.

I'll take them to your mother's place.

No.

It's not convenient for me to go there.

Where, then?

No place for certain.

I'll get a car for you.

To move them all in one go.

Don't come around here anymore.

It's not good.

If you don't have them all out in a week,

I'll take them to your mother's.

Because, I want to leave here too.

Where're you moving to?

Wherever.

Okay.

It's okay.

Sorry to bother you.

The key.

So little.

Take more away.

I won't look beautiful with so many things.

I'll come back soon.

Bye.

You want to quit?

Yeah.

My mother died and left me something.

Better if people like me go back to the country.

A job like this doesn't work for me.

I envy you.

I want to do the same thing.

But I am from a poor family.

Parents. Wife.

Children. I have to work hard for them.

Evening.

How did you open the door?

I used the key, of course.

Didn't you leave it here?

Silly, I can make lots of copies.

No arguing. Just get your things together.

Moving them a little at a time.

I can't find anybody to help.

So it will take me two or three more days.

I won't come around after I finish moving.

I hate your being here all the time.

Why?

I decided to break up with you.

I don't want to see your face anymore.

I don't care. I'll come by whenever I want.

Are you scared to see me?

No.

Just my bad fortune to have known you.

It's okay.

I respect your feelings.

I'd forgotten all about those things 'til now.

Let's be friends.

Okay?

No.

Then how about this?

It's up to you, your decision,

like the way it was before.

Okay?

Okay?

I'm taking my clothes off.

Stop it!

Then, let's be friends.

Okay.

But only friends. Just friends.

Let's not both of us think too much about it.

Fine.

But you can't look at my body.

Do you hear me?

Okay.

Good boy.

Give you a kiss.

Just between friends.

See you.

Naomi.

Come here.

Naomi.

What's going on here?

So loud.

Makes me worried.

You've lost so much weight.

Look tired from lack of sleep.

You're in a serious situation.

Let me get you some medicine.

The woman you think important...

winds up eating the man.

Try this...

see how it goes after a separation.

You'll forget about her.

To you, women are just for sex.

To me, for love.

More important than my own life.

Even if she eats me.

Do you understand?

You, you, calm down!

How can someone like you understand?

Get out!

You are seriously sick!

You're awake.

Good evening.

When did you get here?

I've been here for a while.

You were sleeping so soundly, I didn't want to wake you.

Just came by for a short visit.

I can't reach my back...

honey...

can you help me?

But remember: you can't...

touch my body.

Or...

I won't need you to do it.

I'll do it myself.

Okay.

Do it properly-

If you don't, I won't come by anymore.

No problem.

Has my body changed?

Compared with what I saw before,

I like oil on it...

more beautiful.

Do you want to see it?

Well, you can't.

Because we're just friends.

Well...

Here needs it, too.

Here, too?

Right.

Can't you?

Come on, stop wasting time.

No.

What are you doing?

Naomi, don't do this.

I don't want to be just friends.

Let's be husband and wife, like before.

Naomi.

Why don't you talk to me?

Talk to me.

We can't?

Then kill me!

I can't take it anymore.

Please, I beg you!

Can you?

You think we can?

Get on me, like before.

Like that.

Like this?

Right.

You got it, finally.

I got it.

From now on, you will obey me?

I will.

No more trying to mold me into a perfect woman?

Okay.

No matter how much I need, you will give it to me?

Yes.

Stop controlling what I want to do?

Dating who I want?

Okay.

You'll believe whatever I tell you?

I'll believe.

And call me Miss Naomi.

Okay.

Sure.

Sure.

Great.

We are husband and wife again.

We won't ever separate again.

Honey...

I also have...

only you.

How Can I Get Ahead in Life Compilation - Duration: 14:37.

How do I get ahead in life?

The truth is, you can't get ahead in life

by leaving God behind.

God's the one who gives us everything

and he wants us to put him first

when it comes to the use of our time,

talents, treasures,

our temple,

and his truth.

The church word for that is "stewardship."

Now stewardship has gotten a bad rap,

but stewardship is a vital part

of the Christian life.

A steward is just another word for a manager.

And so stewardship

is managing God's resources

God's way

because of God's love.

And we're not just talking about

10 percent of our money.

We're talking about 100 percent

of everything he gives us.

And so each day this week,

we're going to take a look at one of those five T's

that God gives us to manage.

And so I want to start with talents today.

The Apostle Peter says,

"Each one of you

should use whatever gifts he has received

to serve others."

So first off,

how many of you have gifts?

Well, Peter says each one.

I actually know some people

who have said that

they don't have any gifts.

But that's simply not true.

God has given everyone talents

and he wants us to use those talents

not to serve ourselves

but to serve others.

I love the way the Apostle Paul

pictures God's relationship

with us and our relationship

to each other when it comes to our talents.

This is what he says in 1 Corinthians,

You are the body of Christ.

What's Paul's point?

Well, first off,

there is nothing in the body

that I want to sacrifice.

Do you think you're an unimportant

part of Christ's body?

Think again.

Do you think your toenails are unimportant?

Well, I just recently golfed with someone who,

because of an accident,

lost his big toenail

and he had to golf in flip flops.

You know what? He would tell you

just how important that big toenail is,

especially from the sand trap.

But secondly,

when it comes to our talents,

we have to realize that each one

is unique.

There is no one like you.

No one has the same gift set as you.

The body needs you.

And since you're part of the body,

one body,

there's no need for jealousy in the church.

My gift is your gift

and your gift is my gift

because we are part of that one body.

When a pitcher throws a no-hitter,

the paper doesn't say the next day,

"His right arm won the day."

No,

it gives credit to the whole person.

And here's the best part:

Jesus is our head.

He loves us so much

that he won forgiveness for us

on a cross

so that through faith,

he made us part of his body.

And this is

such a beautiful thing to think through.

Jesus doesn't need

anything.

But he chooses to need you

as part of his body.

And now he gives you talents

to serve him

and to give him glory

and to serve

one another.

God's blessings on your service to him.

How much time in an average day

would you say you waste?

Probably more than we'd like to admit, right?

What are the prime suspects?

There's TV.

You've got email.

Devices.

Internet.

Facebook.

These very things

that were meant to save us time,

it's ironic to me that

they're some of our biggest time wasters.

Not that they're bad things.

I mean, is it wrong to

watch a 21-minute Netflix episode

to wind down at night?

No.

But six hours of binge watching?

I think you see my point, right?

Listen to what the Apostle Paul says.

So we want to use our time in a way

that is pleasing to the spirit,

not to our sinful flesh.

Now, does that have to be bad things?

No, not necessarily.

It's all about keeping the proper priority in life.

The church father Augustine

called God

"the highest good"

and he said that anything we put above God

becomes evil even if it's a good thing

like our work or even our families.

So it's not necessarily that we love bad things.

It's just that sometimes,

we

love

good things badly.

But there was one who never wasted a second.

He never viewed a minute

of his time as his own.

He never hesitated to wake up

each day

and live each day for you

and die on a cross for you

so that one day,

you could spend each day with him forever.

Now, does that change things,

knowing that

that we have eternal life waiting for us?

Absolutely.

And so let's say you wake up one day

and you

have the alarm clock going off,

the most annoying noise in the entire world,

and it won't

shut off, kind of like on the movie Groundhog's Day.

And you throw it out against the wall and

and then you sit up in bed

and you hit your bed, head on the headboard.

And then you get out of bed and you walk

down to the end of the bed and you stub your toe

on the footboard and and then the coffeemaker broke

so you have no coffee

and you get in the shower

and the water heater went out through the night.

How good is the first 11 minutes of your day?

Not so good.

But now imagine that the whole rest of the day

was the best day you have ever had in your life.

Everyone's nice to you.

You meet the love of your life and

you get engaged in the same day.

You win the lottery three times without even playing.

Just, you name it.

You get a promotion at work.

It's just the best day.

Now, imagine that I come to you

at the end of the day and I say,

"So, how was your day?"

What would you say?

"Ugh, you would not believe my first 11 minutes."

No!

You wouldn't even remember that first 11 minutes

because of how awesome that day was.

That's what it's like knowing that

we have eternity before us,

knowing that my life is just a sliver

compared to eternity.

I can give a ridiculous amount of myself

and my time in service to God

and my neighbor.

And in fact, that line doesn't even do it justice.

What is the hymn writer John Newton

say in "Amazing Grace?"

"When we've been there, 10,000 years,

we've no less days to sing God's praise

than when we'd first begun."

What better way to use our time

than for Jesus.

God wants us to be managers

of the body or the temple

that he's given us.

This is what he says in God's Word,

he says,

Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.

That puts in perspective

how we want to treat our bodies.

Well, how do you treat temples?

In the last congregation

that I served, shortly before I arrived,

someone actually threw a beer bottle

through one of the beautiful

stained glass windows of the church.

What do you suppose people's reaction

was when when they heard about that?

They were appalled!

They said,

"This is a church! You can't do that to a church!"

And that's a right reaction.

Because that building

is a symbol of God's presence.

And yet,

it's still just a building.

How much more appalling is it

if we defile the temple

where the Holy Spirit says

he dwells?

And now truth be told,

scripture gives us an awful lot of freedom

in making decisions about how we manage

our bodies.

Christians

can disagree

or make different decisions, we'll say,

and they can still be good Christians.

I know some Christians who drink

coffee and soda and some who don't.

I know Christians that

drink beer or wine

and some who don't.

I know some that work out seven times a week,

or two to three times a week,

or one time a week.

Is it wrong to eat a Big Mac?

I kind of like Big Macs.

Everything in moderation, right?

The point is this:

If you remember that your body

is a temple of the Holy Spirit,

then it helps you make those decisions

about how you're going to treat your body.

And Paul gives us the "why."

He says,

"You are not your own.

You were bought at a price."

There we were,

penniless and alone,

destined for the fire of hell,

and an eternity of suffering,

when someone saw us

and took pity on us

and simply put, loved us.

Jesus went to his father

and asked,

"What will it take to buy them?"

And the father said,

"Only the most priceless offering will do."

And so Jesus offered himself on the cross.

You were bought at a price.

That almost sounds like an understatement.

So what is the only thing

we can think to do?

Honor God

with the body he's given you.

God wants us to manage his truth.

He's entrusted it to us.

1 Corinthians 4 says,

Well, so how do you manage

God's truth?

A part of it

has to do with

just appreciating the treasure

that we have here,

and not go looking for meaning in our lives

anywhere else.

There was a farmer who lived in Pennsylvania

in the 1850s.

And he was very happy on his farm.

But then his cousin moved to Canada

to go work the oil fields.

And suddenly the farm didn't seem that great.

And so he sold the farm.

The county records said that he sold it

for $883.

When the

new owner came out to survey the land,

he came across this stream.

And he noticed that the farmer

had placed a board diagonally on the stream

because there was this black scum

on the water

and the cattle didn't want to drink.

And so he put the board there

and it would skim off the black scum

so that the animals would drink.

Do you know what the black scum was?

The farm was in Titusville, Pennsylvania,

where there is so much oil,

it, it seeped out of the ground

and went into the streams and rivers.

In Titusville, Pennsylvania

is the site of John D. Rockefeller

and Standard Oil.

The farmer sold the farm for $883

and for the next 50 years,

Titusville was the site

of the most millionaires per capita

in the world

because it turns out

the only thing you needed to become a millionaire

in Titusville

was to

own a farm.

The guy went searching halfway around the world

for something he already had.

When you're searching for treasure,

you don't have to go anywhere else.

You have that treasure right here.

Just think about what you have

in this book.

You have a love letter

from your father in heaven,

written and signed

in the blood of Jesus

that gives you all of the answers

to life's biggest questions.

It gives you counsel

in every situation.

Comfort

in every tragedy.

And it tells you about

the heaven that waits for you

because of Jesus' life and death for you.

This is the truth

you've been entrusted with.

So how do we manage it?

Well,

it starts with:

read it every day.

Always

be prepared to give an answer

to someone who objects to it.

We want to make sure we read it every day.

We want to make sure that we don't

water it down.

We want to make sure that we read it every day.

And then we also

want to share it with everyone

in our lives.

And then, oh yeah,

read it every day.

And then

make this

the only guide for our lives.

Did I mention

read it every day?

God's blessings as you manage God's truth.

Let's say that you go to the bank down the road,

and you take $10,000 to put on deposit there,

expecting the bank manager to

manage the money and then

come back with interest.

And after a year you go back,

and you say to the bank manager,

"I'd like my $10,000."

And the bank manager hands you a check for

$6,423.

And you say,

"What in the world? I gave you $10,000.

I'm expecting it back with interest."

And the bank manager says,

"Oh, you're totally gonna understand this.

You see, my wife and I haven't been on a vacation

in forever.

And then she saw these shoes

that she absolutely needed, and, well,

here's a check for $6,423."

Would you be okay with that?

No way! You would say,

"But that was

my money."

Right?

Do you view

your money

from God's perspective

or do we view it as

our money

like that bank manager?

God tells us that

in order for us to have contentment in life

we need to make him the priority.

And so he gives us guidance in his word

about how to do just that.

This is what it says in 1 Corinthians 16.

It says,

And so I want to break down

what this passage teaches us

about putting God first.

On the first day

of every week.

In other words, this goes back

to the whole priority thing

we were just talking about.

That God wants us to make

this the first thing that we do.

It's what gives us contentment.

What would you rather have?

Contentment or a billion dollars?

There's a right answer.

It's contentment.

And we can't have contentment unless we put God first.

Next it says,

"Each one of you."

In other words,

everyone who's been blessed

can give. This includes children.

And I think this is one of the neatest lessons

for both parent and child

when this takes place.

When Grandma and Grandpa give

my 4-year-old

$5 for her birthday,

and I say to her,

"Well, how much do you want to give to Jesus?",

do you know what she says at that age?

She says,

"All of it."

And then I'm in the awkward position of going,

"Oh, sweetie. You don't need to give all of it."

But it's such a powerful lesson.

Why does she want to give all of it?

It's because she implicitly trusts me

to provide for her needs.

We can trust God, too.

And finally, he says,

"in keeping with his income,

saving it up."

So God wants us to plan

our offerings

and then give a proportionate amount.

Is $10,000 a big offering?

Well, absolutely

if you make $50,000 a year.

But if you make a billion dollars a year,

not so much.

Well, why are we going to want to do this?

Well, it's a way for us to say "Thank you."

This is the time in worship

when we can say "Thank you"

with not just our mouths

but our hands as well.

The Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians,

Managing our treasures

is one way that we can say,

"Thank you, Jesus."

Girl

Above us all the stars are watchin'

There's no place I'd rather be in this world

Your eyes are where I'm lost in

Underneath the chandelier

We're dancin' all alone

There's no reason to hide

What we're feelin' inside

Right now

So, baby, let's just turn down the lights

and close the door

Ooh, I love that dress

but you won't need it anymore

No, you won't need it no more

Let's just kiss 'til we're naked, baby

Versace on the floor

Take it off for me, for me, for me, for me now, girl

Versace on the floor

Take it off for me, for me, for me, for me now, girl

I unzip the back to watch it fall

While I kiss your neck and shoulders

No, don't be afraid to show it all

I'll be right here ready to hold you

Boy, you know you're perfect from

Your head down to your heels

Don't be confused by my smile

Cause I ain't ever been more for real

Flo-Jo The Fashion Trailblazer | Fashion Behind the Games - Duration: 3:13.

(FASHION MOMENT FLORENCE GRIFFITH JOYNER)

Meet Dolorez Florence Griffith Joyner.

But let's call her Flo-Jo,

as everybody knows her.

She was an American track and field athlete

that changed the face of sports in the 1980s

until she became a fashion legend.

Let's see. Born in Los Angeles to a humble family

in the early '60s,

the young Flo-Jo was one of a kind.

By the time she was seven, she was running free

in the desert.

A few years later, Flo-Jo was running for her high school

in Los Angeles,

where she showed her own passion -

fashion.

By that time, she was a cheerful girl

in love with the sport.

But at the age of 19,

she had to quit to help her family's economy.

So she went to work in a bank.

Yeah. Boring, right?

But then,

she met this guy.

Bob Kersee was a legendary track coach

who trained many of the most memorable athletes.

So he helped her to gain a place at UCLA,

and they began to work seriously.

And now...

in this very hot day in Los Angeles,

a gentle breeze starts to blow.

In the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles,

Flo-Jo won the silver medal.

Good enough, but what the people mostly remember

about her were her eccentric looks.

Mainly her long and wild fingernails.

From this moment, Flo-Jo became

sort of an attraction in the Games.

With her strong personality

and unique style,

all the eyes were upon her to see what was next.

She still had to work, and during her free nights,

she styled her friends' hair and nails.

Flo-Jo never quit on her passions.

In this you have to be very relaxed.

Once you reach your high rate of velocity,

then you just try to relax and maintain

that speed that you've built

and just carry through the finish line.

Then came her enormous success in Seoul,

winning four gold medals and a silver too.

After that, she became popular around the world.

And all thanks to these two things -

performance and style.

Flo-Jo kept working on her looks

as a part of a strategy to go further.

As you can see, her outfits were really something.

Laces, fluorescence...

and even a one-legged suit.

It would be these bold fashion decisions

made by Flo-Jo that would open the door

to many athletes that followed her.

Today, after almost 30 years,

she is considered the fastest woman

of all time.

And her records stand alone

with her personal and unique style.

She loved the game, and she made a statement

that still lives on today.

The modern generation will still look at her

as an inspiration.
