Today we're talking about tongue twisters! We will twist your tongue.
That's coming up!
Welcome to today's lesson.
It's a pronunciation practice lesson
because we're going to do tongue twisters, and show you some different tongue twisters
We're going to practice reading them together, saying them together, and then
you can hear us try it to say them, and we'll look kind of silly and foolish.
You're supposed to make mistakes. Nobody says these perfectly.
This will be a good speaking exercise, also good for listening.

The way we're going to do this is we're going to read one of the tongue twisters to you.
You can just listen to it, and then we will show you the tongue twister, read it again,
And then we can all read it together. And we want you to practice with us.
So you can look silly too.
You can also practice these as well at home. It's fun.
How much wood could a wood chuck... would a woodchuck chuck?
Okay, how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
So remember, with the W sound, you've got to keep those lips rounded.

So now, let's practice saying this quickly. Ready, let's see what you got.
Yea, it's hard to remember that part.
This is like the only tongue twister that I can do quickly.
Other than that, I'm a failure.
That's good. I'm done. I said like, 7 times.
The next one that we want to practice with you is
She sells seashells by the seashore.
So you have the s sound and that "sh" sound
They're both voiceless sounds and your tongue is just right behind your front teeth for that s sound,
And "Shh" it's like you're saying, telling somebody to be quiet.
The tongue is in the center of your mouth, and the air is kind of flowing right over the top.
So let's have a look and I'll say it one more time.
So let's let's say it together. Ready?
And we want you to say with us.

All right, so simple enough. Let's See you say it quickly.

So the next one is a very short one, but I think for me, I think it's the most difficult to say.
It's only three words, and it is: Unique New Yok.
So it's like saying... you're saying the city.
and it's unique.
Wait, that's the hardest one for you?
It is, yea!
Why are you laughing? I think it's the way that your mouth is moving forward
So (U) your mouth's coming forward (nique)and then your jaw is dropping backwards and then it's coming forward again (York).
It's just... I don't know, I have a tough time saying it.
Again, it's just three words:
And this one, you're just supposed to really try and say as quickly as you can.
So, ready?

And then we try to say it as quickly as possible.
I completely screw the whole thing up
Different sounds are more difficult for different people.
I'm stretching.
Are you just warming up your tongue? OK.
So this is our fifth one.
The sounds to practice here are the "ch" sound and the "sh" sound.
And I know some some some people really have trouble differentiating between these two sounds.
"CH" and "SH".
The "ch"- your tongue is gonna touch the top part of your mouth.
And then "sh"- that tongue is a little lower.
The tongue is in the center and the air just flows out.
So they're different
What's the what's the tongue twister?
If Stu chews shoes, should Stu chew the shoes he chews?
Ah, this is hard for me.
It's hard because it switches between the "s" sound, the "sh" sound and the "ch" sound.
Ok, so I'm going to read it.
Alright, let's try and read it together. Ready?
All right. Let's see what you got.
I can't do it fast, I can't!
That was wrong
Wow, this one is difficult!
But we can't say it fast...
He shouldn't choose those shoes.

1. Niszczyciel przykrych zapachów.Aby pozbyć się zapachu pleśni z ręczników, dodaj do prania dwie szklanki octu. W przypadku odzieży dodaj ½ do maksymalnie 1 szklanki. Pamiętaj, aby wlać go tam, gdzie znajduje się miejsce na płyn do płukania.
Możesz też wstępnie wymoczyć ciuchy w zimnej wodzie, do której dodałeś wcześniej filiżankę białego octu. Przed praniem zostaw je w tym roztworze na około 20 minut.
2. Koniec problemów z plamami.Nie musisz znać konkretnych typów plam. Ocet bardzo dobrze radzi sobie z większością z nich. Nadmiar octu rozprowadź na plamę i pozostaw do wyschnięcia na około 10 – 15 minut przed praniem.
3. Czarne pozostaje czarne.Częste pranie sprawia, że czarne jeansy i inne ciemne ubrania blakną. Aby tego uniknąć, w ostatnim cyklu prania dodaj ½ do 1 szklanki octu.
4. Koniec z sierścią na ubraniach.Posiadacze kotów i psów bardzo dobrze wiedzą, że sierść przyczepia się do czarnych ubrań. Ocet i z tym sobie poradzi. Wystarczy, że dodasz ½ szklanki octu w miejsce płynu do płukania.
5. Zmiękczenie tkanin.Chyba każdy lubi, gdy ręczniki i ubrania są miękkie. Niestety, czasem tkaniny robią się szorstkie, szczególnie po wielu praniach. Jednak dodając szklankę octu, sprawisz, że zachowają one swoją miękkość na dłużej.
6. Delikatny wybielacz.Ocet rozjaśnia i wybiela bez używania substancji chemicznych. Można użyć go do usuwania uporczywych plam z białych ubrań. Wystarczy, że wlejesz 1,5 szklanki octu do prania. Plamy z potu i dezodorantu znikną z białego materiału, gdy polejesz je octem przed praniem.
7. Podrażnienia skóry.Proszek do prania czasem pozostawia ślady na ubraniach. Mogą one później podrażniać skórę. 125ml białego octu dodanego do prania, rozwiąże problem.
Zapach octu, który może być odczuwalny po wyjęciu ubrań z pralki, zniknie po wyschnięciu. Przy tylu korzyściach, jakie daje nam ten magiczny produkt, nie powinno być to jednak żadnym zmartwieniem.

Why Doesn't Your Coaching Client Progress - Duration: 4:47.
Hi!
I'm Sharon Jurd and welcome to my Biz Blitz video and today I'm going to talk to you
about when your coaching client doesn't progress.
If you're a coach out there, you may have had clients previously or you have them right
now who just seem to not progress.
There are a few things that we do as coaches.
We can easily say, "they've got blockages from their past", "they've got beliefs".
But let's look within ourselves first and tick some boxes off before we start going
into other therapies.
I always say if things aren't going quite the way you want them to; in business, life,
elsewhere, in any situation, look within yourself first.
That's what we're going to do today.
Firstly, are you making it all about yourself instead of them?
Sometimes in our coaching, they will give us an example of something that's happened
and we go, "Oh yes, that's happened to us too but it was ten times worse!"
You can't do that as a coach.
You can't make it about yourself.
You have to make it about them and empathise with them around their pain or their problem
or their situation.
You don't always have to give an example of what's happened to your life as well
because then they start focusing on you and go, "Oh with Sharon, her situation was ten
times worse, mine's insignificant" because it is significant for them.
It's not insignificant.
Secondly, sometimes as coaches we tend to talk and not listen.
We want to immediately reply to them, give them some feedback, give them some learnings,
expertise and knowledge instead of just taking some time to listen a bit more.
Let them add to the end of their sentence, wait for that pause.
So if they say, "Today I'm not feeling really well.
I've had an argument with my partner", you don't want to jump in and go, "We
can do this and this and this".
Say, "tell me more about that."
Just say those words and then they'll go, "It's about my children.
We were arguing over our children," and so you get to the bottom of the problem possibly.
Make sure you're not always talking.
Make sure you're listening and asking those questions that will give you more information.
And thirdly, don't tell them what to do.
If we want to be great coaches, what we do is we teach them to be resourceful.
Ask them what do they think they might do.
My ideal question is: "If you wanted to achieve that, what would be the first five
things you would do?"
I know the first five things they would possibly do.
They know it too because we never coach people who don't know.
They all know.
It's just bringing it to their conscious mind.
They go, "Well, if I want to get more clients I have to go and speak to more people",
"I'd be more active on social media", "I'd go and visit my strategic alliance."
They know what those five things are but don't you continue to tell them because what you
don't want to do is have a coaching client that, every time they are looking for an answer,
they call you.
That's not what you want them to do.
You want them to learn to be resourceful.
It's like that saying, "Give them a fish and they'll eat for a day or teach them
how to fish and they'll eat forever."
And that's what you want to do, you want to teach them to problem solve, to be resourceful,
to find the answers within themselves.
And when they start finding those answers within themselves, they become more creative,
they become more confident and they learn to trust in their own ability.
If your client's not moving forward, look within yourself and ask, "Am I doing one
of these three things?"
One, you make it all about yourself and your problems are bigger than theirs or two, you're
not allowing them to talk more and you listen more or three, you're telling them what
to do instead of teaching them how to do it.
That's my three tips for today.

Challenging Tongue Twisters to Practice Your Pronunciation - Duration: 10:56.Today we're talking about tongue twisters! We will twist your tongue.
That's coming up!
Welcome to today's lesson.
It's a pronunciation practice lesson
because we're going to do tongue twisters, and show you some different tongue twisters
We're going to practice reading them together, saying them together, and then
you can hear us try it to say them, and we'll look kind of silly and foolish.
You're supposed to make mistakes. Nobody says these perfectly.
This will be a good speaking exercise, also good for listening.

The way we're going to do this is we're going to read one of the tongue twisters to you.
You can just listen to it, and then we will show you the tongue twister, read it again,
And then we can all read it together. And we want you to practice with us.
So you can look silly too.

This is like the only tongue twister that I can do quickly.

The next one that we want to practice with you is

So you have the s sound and that "sh" sound
They're both voiceless sounds and your tongue is just right behind your front teeth for that s sound,
And "Shh" it's like you're saying, telling somebody to be quiet.
The tongue is in the center of your mouth, and the air is kind of flowing right over the top.
So let's have a look and I'll say it one more time.

Different sounds are more difficult for different people.

So this is our fifth one.
The sounds to practice here are the "ch" sound and the "sh" sound.
And I know some some some people really have trouble differentiating between these two sounds.
"CH" and "SH".
The "ch"- your tongue is gonna touch the top part of your mouth.
And then "sh"- that tongue is a little lower.
The tongue is in the center and the air just flows out.
So they're different
What's the what's the tongue twister?
If Stu chews shoes, should Stu chew the shoes he chews?
Ah, this is hard for me.
It's hard because it switches between the "s" sound, the "sh" sound and the "ch" sound.
