Youtube daily report Apr 3 2018

Hello I'm Jerry Thompson Chief Operating Officer of the Genus ABS Global Beef

Division I'm here in Cordoba Argentina very pleased to have the opportunity to

give you all an update on our global proprietary beef strategy. Our strategy

is very simple three key themes: firstly our role as a genetic improvement

business in the beef space is to create value for our customers. Our customers

being from cow-calf producers right the way along the beef supply chain. Having

made that genetic improvement it's absolutely critical that we validate the

improvement, we validate the value we've created in customer systems. And thirdly

having validated the value that we create within customer systems our aim

is to capture a share of the value that we create in order for us to reinvest in

creating further and faster genetic improvement for the beef supply chain.

Last year we launched NuEra as the global brand for our proprietary beef

genetic improvement programs and already within that brand we've launched two

exciting new products: EMIA in particular in the UK market we've launched beef

advantage where we've created an index to demonstrate significant value of our

individual british blue bulls to the british dairy farmer that's proved

extremely successful it's enabled us to rerank our existing bull portfolio and

sell those bulls according to the value that we create to to the farmers.

That program is now being rolled out more widely in particular in places such as

Italy, Ireland, France, Germany and the rest of the EMIA region. To enable us to

create the XBlack index we collected a lot of data to demonstrate how

individual bulls with US performed in a crossbreeding situation in Brazil

in particular at four sender Brazil and and more recently our amongst ten or

eleven cooperator Hertz that we're now working with. Again this gave us a great

opportunity to rewrite the Bulls based on the value that we create for the

customer, so for those people that really understand genetic value

we've got a product offering that helps them improve increase their

profitability. The same time is developing new proprietary indices we

continue to invest in our genetic nucleus programs both in North America

and in the UK. In North America we've developed the T14 line which is a

terminal animal based on Angus and ? genetics aimed at maximizing

the profitability of the terminal generation of the beef animal. In the UK

we continue to develop our British blue line and marketed now as the T14

again focused on the profitability of the dairy farmer as well as the grower

finisher in the UK or aamir beef supply chain so to recap the core focus of our

strategy is to create and discover value for the beef supply chain which enables

us to ensure the ongoing profitability of our customers. The scale of the

opportunity that we see in the beef genetics space is immense and it really

is an incredibly exciting time to be with us at Genus ABS

#57: A HOMELESS GIVES YOU MONEY ! (Social experiment!) - Duration: 8:12.

Hello friends, for our social experience today we wanted to surprise you a little bit,

I'm going to tell you a bit more about today's social experiment, it's very simple: the two persons you see here,

are actors who will pretend they're homeless, on the placard they're holding is written that they are NOT homeless

and that the people who actually read the placard can take the note that is in the plastic cup

On the same placard we also thank them

because they've had a little consideration for our actors today who pretend they were homeless.

For that social experiment we voluntarily wrote a lot on the placard

so it wouldn't be too easy

So, how many people will actually read the placard?

Well, that's what I want you to discover. We had roughly 200 euros to give away

Let's go.

(Question: Do we still read homeless's placard?)

(... Who is going to take it first?)

(The only two persons that stop are actually homeless!)

Sir, hi...

Did you read what was written on the placard?

No, I have to be honest no

Can I come with you so we can read together what's written on the placard?

Yes!

I read it but it didn't interest me, it was made with good intentions!

Well, I propose you take the 10 bucks and you give it to the nest homeless person you see?

Okay, that's a deal!

Take care, bye!

(Number of passersby : more than 1.000)

(Money to take: 50 euros)

(Numbers of passersby: more than 1.000)

And like always in all social experiments,

it's the kids that show the most interest in what is happening around them...

Did you read the placard?

No not really.

Okay, I didn't really pay much attention.

Doesn't matter if we read the placard or not...?

It's the thought that counts

Why did you act like that?

I don't know, for me everyone should help everyone...

When people don't have money, is there for you an alternative?

Yes yes... There is plenty of things to do...

You can just talk with the person

Who is going to read and take it?

Hi sir!

Can you read out what's written on the placard?

I see a cup, so I give.

That's awesome, thanks!

But without reading

But because you ask me to read it I will

First thing first, thanks for your gesture

She is a woman who has all she wants

She has all she has.

And what's happening is, that the placard says that I can take the note.

God holds it for you Madam, it's sweet of you.

If you are okay, you can take it and give it to anyone who really needs it

Do you accept?

A homeless person because Madam is not, you can give it to him.

Is it an experiment?

Yes a social experiment !

second last try

I can't read from far away

What stops you from coming closer and reading?

We considered her as a person, so we can take the note.

Oh, thank you!

He is an actor and has all he wants don't worry.

You give him a bit of attention, you looked a bit at what was written on the placard,

so for that we wanted to thank you with 10 euros.

Is it also the case with you, you don't know how to act with them...

... what's your spirit towards that?

I don't know, I am ashamed to go to them...

Is it true? It's interesting behaviour.

What are you going to do with the 10 euros?

I don't know hahaha!

Ohhhh... But I check your videos on youtube all the time!

Do you recognise me now?

Of course, I watch your videos all the time.

We will see you in those. Bye girls, see you!

Can I take a picture with you?

Of course!

Last try: 50 euros in the cup

On set, a fight breaks out in front of the actor...

This sadly reflects a part of the society, who'd prefer creating a climat of insecurity

instead of acting positively in society

Why, in a society where it is easy to do good,

are there still people who chose to offer us such a scene?

And you, what kind of individual are you in society?

Who do you really wish to be in society?

The one who gives what's worse? Or the one who gives what's the best in them?

Hello.

Wait, wait!

The kid there, made his choice!

I didn't really read everything

but she has needs

Are you French or Flemish?

I am German

Oh, so you're German

And do you give money to homeless people in Belgium?

We give it back to you these 5 euros friend!

This group of boys asks us what it is about?

50 euros? I missed an opportunity.

Sorry, aren't you Jon from Would You React?

Yes, it's me! Everything alright?

Thanks for all your support, written or on the streets, etc...

We're not going to talk about the fight who broke out,

but for me it's important to show the contrast about the good we can give,

and the worse we can give.

So at the end, it turned out to be on the right moment for the video.

What really struck me in this social experiment

is that no one,

no one, no one,

really read the placard!

So even the people who kindly gave money,

didn't read the placard

They gave money and then left.

Our videos aren't meant to judge or criticise

but we want to understand.

I could have been one of these persons who didn't read the placard

And if you agree, I would like for the space underneath this video,

to be a place where we try to understand together, where you give your opinion,

try to understand why it is we don't pay attention

anymore to these placards on the streets?

I am sure there are a lot of you

who have good arguments and answers,

and I would be glad to read you all,

to eventually leave comments,

some likes and some hearts

on your answers

Dragon Ball FighterZ is on its way to being the big game of Evo 2018 - Duration: 3:26.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is on its way to being the big game of Evo 2018

Dragon Ball FighterZ is going to be a big deal at this year's Evo fighting game tournament, based on early registration figures.

According to Evolution Championship Series co-founder Joey Cuellar, Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently leading the pack in registrants and is way ahead of its closest competitor, Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition.

Cuellar tweeted out the "Evo 2018 Leaderboard" today, noting that Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently the top game at the tournament with a "big lead" in registered players over Street Fighter 5 and third-ranked game Tekken 7.

While those registration numbers are still early — Evo 2018's early bird registration window closed on March 31, and registration will remain open through the summer — it's good news for Bandai Namco and Arc System Works, the folks behind Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Capcom's Street Fighter games are typically the most popular titles with players looking to compete at Evo, but with mixed response to Street Fighter 5 and a lack of any Marvel vs.

Capcom game this year, FighterZ is here to fill the void. It helps that Dragon Ball FighterZ is relatively new. It was released in January and immediately found a wide audience.

On Steam, FighterZ already has 316,796 players, according to data from SteamSpy, which is quickly catching up to Street Fighter 5's player base (359,641 players).

Last year, Evo saw a large drop-off in the number of registered Street Fighter 5 players. Street Fighter 5 brought in 2,622 registered players in 2017, compared to 5,107 in 2016.

Registration numbers were lower across all games in 2017 compared to the previous year, however.

Will a massive turnout for Dragon Ball FighterZ mean that Street Fighter 5 could be replaced as the main, event-closing game at Evo 2018's Sunday finals? Not necessarily. As Cuellar noted in 2016, "Sunday has never been based on entrants.".

Evo 2018 will feature five games as part of the Sunday finals, in an order still not yet announced: Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Tekken 7, Dragon Ball FighterZ and Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition.

The annual fighting game tournament will take place Aug. 3-5 in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

PURPLE POTATOES PACK MEGA ANTIOXIDANTS COMPARED TO WHITE-FLESHED POTATOES

JOE MARTINOMARCH 29, 2018

Most of us are used to seeing and eating the typical white or yellow fleshed potatoes.

You may even eat sweet potatoes on a regular basis and so you might be accustomed to orange

as well.

But purple potatoes are certainly not as popular, although given the deep rich color of these

potatoes, more of us should be familiar with these potatoes for the powerful nutrients

they pack.

Native to South America, purple potatoes got their name due to their deep purple skin and

flesh.

There are several types of the purple potato including the Purple Majesty, Purple Viking

and Purple Peruvian varieties.

Purple potatoes are rich in antioxidant phytochemicals and studies show that purple potatoes can

aid in lowering blood pressure.

As with any fruit or vegetable, the deep rich colors they offer tell us how nutrient dense

they are.

When choosing which vegetables to add to our diet, a mix of colors is always a good rule

of thumb to be sure we are getting a variety of nutrients to meet our bodies needs.

Purple potatoes follow right along with this concept as the purple characteristic tell

us that they are rich in a powerful antioxidant called anthocyanin.

Coming from the flavonoid family of antioxidants, anthocyanin is best known for boosting the

immune system and fighting cancer.

You can also find this antioxidant in blueberries and pomegranates.

Another great benefit to anthocyanin is its ability to protect the integrity and structure

of DNA and encourage the production of cytokines which are key in promoting proper immune response.

If that isn't enough, this powerful antioxidant also has anti-inflammatory properties, helps

to protect the health and integrity of the capillaries and strengthens membranes.

It may also play a role in regulating estrogenic activity which helps to lower the risk of

hormone-related disease.

Lowering Blood Pressure A study presented at the 2012 American Chemical

Society National Meeting in Denver, Colorado showed that consuming purple potatoes lowered

the blood pressure of the subjects who were eating them compared to subjects that were

not.

The effects on blood pressure are likely associated with the potatoes therapeutic effect on the

capillaries and blood vessels as previously mentioned.

It is also likely that purple potato's feature a high concentration of another phytochemical

called chlorogenic acid which has been linked to lowering blood pressure in mice.

Flavour & Cooking Many of us love white potatoes and are accustomed

to the texture and flavor they offer.

Does the purple potato trade off any flavor or texture for the nutrient density?

Not at all!

The purple potato tastes very much like the standard white-fleshed potatoes and is said

to be slightly creamier in texture.

When cooking purple potatoes, as with any other potatoes, try to keep the skin on and

remember to cook them in the healthiest ways possible.

keeping the skin on helps to keep moisture in the potato and is packed full of nutrients.

The skin of the purple potato is rich in vitamin C and contains a lot of the polyphenols and

potassium that makes it so beneficial.

Baking and steaming are often the best methods of preparation and good clean oils like coconut

oil are recommended if you are frying.

Then again, you can always just take a bite straight out of one of these much like you

would if you were eating an apple!

Secret of Mana Q&A #11 - Who's your favourite main character? - Duration: 4:22.

Who is your favourite out of Randi, Primm and Popoi, and why?

I'll answer first.

This is partly influenced by the fact that I still have my original image of the game from back when I played it with friends.

but there's also the fact that I was in middle school at the time.

I'd have to say Randi is my favourite.

I played him the most, but he also seemed the most understandable when I was a kid,

So I preferred him.

Of course I like Primm and Popoi as well,

but I was an adolescent then, so Primm…

No, I guess not!

Playing as a girl was kind of…

You were a kid, after all!

As a boy, it was kind of embarrassing to play a girl character.

Yeah, I know how you felt.

Popoi was really popular with everyone -using magic and everything - so that was the character that everyone would compete to play.

Whenever we played, my big brother would generally take Popoi.

He'd say, "Nope, you've gotta be Randi."

So you played with your siblings?

I did, yeah.

I've been playing Randi this whole time, so he's my favourite.

How about you, Mr. Kikuta?

Hearing that story makes me really happy.

Knowing how kids played it back in the day.

Well, my point of view is ultimately that of one of the creators,

but I've always liked sci-fi and fantasy.

The way kids today… no, not today…

In the same way that you guys played video games as kids, we had sci-fi and fantasy.

It took the form of books, movies… I have memories of this stretching back a long way,

but growing up, I never imagined that I'd end up the composer for a fantasy game someday.

But somehow, I've ended up doing this job and had these opportunities.

I think, for me, these fantasy worlds have existed inside my mind ever since I was a kid

But when it came to making them a reality in the form of a game

I was left wondering what I should keep in mind while creating it.

So… to me, while the characters had their appeal,

Secret of Mana was more about creating a world.

Like the Mana Tree, all of the monsters that show up, the world itself…

I had to think about what it would sound like and what music I could use to express that.

The character that was the centre of that was Popoi.

Popoi is the most mysterious… you don't even know if they're a boy or a girl.

Popoi's character really stands out - kind of a cheeky little brat.

All of that makes Popoi really appealing to me.

When I first started composing for this world, Popoi's theme was the first thing I wrote.

And the song that came from that was "The Little Sprite."

When I was working on Secret of Mana, that was the first melody that came to me,

and it was meant to represent Popoi.

In that sense, I would have to say that my favourite character is Popoi.

Kaczyńska spędziła święta z partnerem, stryjem i dziećmi!

Przed ugoszczeniem Marty i jej narzeczonego szef PiS uczestniczył we mszy świętej,

Unleashing the Wealthy, Ultra-Successful Agent Within You - #TomFerryShow - Duration: 10:20.

- There's an uber successful, wealthy person

who's fighting to get out of you.

(motivating rock music)

Hey, welcome to the Tom Ferry Show.

I want to have a very, be honest conversation.

I had a recent coaching session with someone that...

And you know this...

Have you ever met someone that when they're talking to you,

you just want to start pulling your hair out of your head

because you look at them and say,

"there is an uber successful, extremely wealthy person

"inside of you who is fighting to get out,"

but this perfectionist, dabbler, fixed mindset

individual keeps suppressing them?

Do you know anybody like that?

Maybe, personally?

Like, maybe the person holding your phone right now,

watching this show?

Well, consider the following.

You ready?

I sat with this individual, fixed mindset,

this is what I know,

this person's just full of excuses,

and by the way, they're really persuasive.

They're like "no, see, the reason why

"I've got this extra five pounds on my body

"is I've got big bones."

Right, they tell these stories to rationalize

why they don't go out and take the action that they should.

Do you know someone like that?

They're constantly saying things like,

"well I couldn't do that

"because I don't want to be embarrassed.

"What if I look bad?

"What if I do it the wrong way?

"I'm too 'this' for that-

"I'm too old, I'm to young, I'm too new to the business,

"I'm too experienced, I'm a veteran."

They have all these excuses

and they keep that fixed mindset.

We know if you're not in a growth mindset

you're never going to reach your potential.

The second one is the perfectionist.

This person is a control freak.

Do you know someone like that?

Who literally is, you know,

"I need the perfect script Tom.

"I need the right CRM.

"If it's not perfect I can't use it.

"I need to get organized before I make my phone calls."

This person is literally playing a game inside their head

actually thinking that if they are organized

and they have the right CRM that

that would be the reason that they suddenly

generated more business and they became more successful.

Listen to me,

I know plenty of people that don't have a CRM,

that make stuff up as they're talking to clients,

but they just care deeply and passionately

and they just take action.

You with me on this?

So, the perfectionist never wins.

They keep that uber successful, wealthy person

inside you suppressed.

But the last one is the dabbler.

Do you know any dabblers?

You know, they do a little of this,

a little of that, little of this,

they definitely need a little more focus.

Right?

I don't know if I want to call them ADHD or ADD

or if they just simply...

They just get caught up in the shiny penny syndrome.

Do you know someone who's constantly-

oh look at this,

oh, oh this is it,

this is how I'm suddenly gonna become successful.

Like, they're looking for these

get rich quick schemes and while they're doing that,

they're suppressing that uber successful,

wealthy individual who's only going to show up my friends,

if you begin to make changes.

And my question for you is, of those three,

the perfectionist, the dabbler, or event the fixed mindset,

which one of those resonates for you?

Which one of those, like, is speaking to you as I say it?

You and I both know awareness is the first step of change.

Right?

The moment you can say "hello my name is and I'm a-"

"I'm a dabbler.

"God Tom, I get distracted all the time.

"Tom, it's true, I've got this fixed mindset

"and you don't understand because of my past

"and this is what I believe and you don't know my parents

"and when I was three I wanted a pony

"and I didn't get one."

Like, they have these stories

that they keep bringing to the surface

to make it their reality to protect themselves,

when no one's attacking.

Except for that uber successful, really wealthy person

who's inside of you fighting to come out.

Which of those three resonates for you?

Now listen, if you and I were sitting together face to face,

I think about the number of people

that I have helped in my career have a massive breakthrough,

it was always just three things.

And the last person that I talked to

that really inspired this show,

I said, "we are just going to take action on three things.

"Here's how you have a breakthrough."

If you're listening,

by the way, this is probably gonna be a show

you're gonna send to your teenager,

you're gonna send to your 42 year old son

who's still living in the basement still smoking weed,

you're gonna send this to all of your friends,

all of your peers,

because you love them and you see their potential.

And they know they have it and you're looking

for a way to help them get it out.

Here's the three things, you ready?

Number one, you remove all the distractions

and you commit to one thing.

Now, when I say commit to one thing,

I'm referring to one discipline, one behavior.

Let's keep it simple, you ready?

I'm going to talk to ten people in my database every day.

Now I know there's a thousand distractions

and oh my goodness and I'm busy and I've got a showing

and then I've got family coming in town.

It doesn't matter.

You're going to get to one thing.

One thing.

Now, I'm old school.

Do you remember the, what are those things called, dominoes?

You guys remember dominoes?

Did you ever...

I'm talking to my team here...

Did you ever line up the dominoes,

like with your kids,

and then the fun of like hitting that first domino

and seeing

(clicking sound)

how many will fall down?

I'm looking for what's the one commitment you can make

that would be the first domino, metaphorically,

that as you push that one,

(clicking sound)

everything begins to happen automatically.

Does that make sense?

Now, for many people that could be

the discipline of getting up early.

It could be the discipline of getting to the gym.

It could be the discipline of eating better,

stopping doing something that is causing you

to not sleep well at night.

Making your phone calls, perfecting your presentations...

And I know perfectionist is on my list,

but you know what I mean,

role playing I should say.

The bottom line is what is that one thing

that's gonna move the needle for you

that's gonna cause you, over time,

to have a massive breakthrough?

Commit to one.

Number two, this is where it gets interesting,

you've gotta make promises and verbal commitments

to people that love and respect you

and will confront you if they see you

not taking the right action.

Let me say it to you again.

You gotta make promises,

like, "Jillian, I commit, I'm going to do this."

Five days a week, like for me,

I'm working out five days a week since Thanksgiving.

I posted on my Instagram stories

and I put "this is the number of the 250

"I'm gonna do for the year"

and I'm telling 40,000 people.

Does that make sense?

Like, you've gotta put your commitment out there.

Now, I know the fixed mindset person gets nervous.

The dabbler really gets...

Oh, what if I find something else that's better?

What if, suddenly, doing 16 videos,

or trying this, or doing that,

is going to make my life...

No.

Commit to one thing and then tell all the people around you

and then give them permission to hold you accountable.

Give that, like tell your coach,

tell your manager,

tell your best friend,

tell your parents,

tell your 15 year old daughter.

And say, "when I follow through on this,

"I'm buying you X,"

You with me on this?

And incentivize them to just stay on you.

Cause guess what?

When you are going from "here are my goals

"and here are my behaviors,

"here are my goals and here are my actions,

"here's what I say I want but here's what I actually do,"

that battle to get you aligned is going to require

more people around you supporting you.

You can't do it in your head and you can't do it alone.

You know it and I know it.

There's a reason why Jenny Craig and AA and church exist.

We're better together.

Does that make sense?

Number three, I wrote down

you should create a massive, painful consequence

for not following through.

Massive.

I go back to old school.

I had a thing called MAPS,

almost, my goodness, 13 - 14 years ago,

and I called it the "Massive Accountability Program."

And I only had, I don't know,

30 - 40 clients who participated in this,

but I made them all write me six checks

for a thousand dollars each

and I would literally...

"Carol, who's the one political party

"you would never want the money to go to?"

And they would go "I want it to go to party X."

And that's who I would make all the checks payable to.

And then I would associate a letter to it.

Right?

You would be surprised the impact

of six checks to an ex spouse,

six checks to a broker who told you

you would never amount to anything,

six checks to a political party

you would hate the money to go to,

that that pain will actually drive you

to follow through and take action.

Tony Robbins made his entire career on this.

"We'll all do more to avoid pain

"than we will to gain pleasure."

Now, remember, we're trying to get us

to this is what we say we want,

and these are our behaviors.

We want to align and commit

and remove the perfectionist.

Remove the dabbler.

Remove that person who is so stuck in their fixed mindset

and work beyond that.

Because the uber successful, wealthy person wants out.

Are you with me on this?

That person wants out and the way you're gonna get there

is you're gonna commit to one thing.

You're gonna follow through every day.

You're gonna tell all the people around you,

"This is what I'm committed to."

And you're gonna have a painful consequence

and yes, have a pleasurable thing at the end

that's that pot at the end of the rainbow

for when you take action.

Now, I know this is a lot to digest

and I'm doing it very quickly,

but this is what I wrote down for you.

Bottom line, everything that's worthwhile

takes longer than you want.

You can't just go, "hey let's have a baby,"

(buzzer sound)

hit the microwave button and boom, here's your child.

No, it takes nine months and here's my point to you.

Every marketing campaign,

every lead generation,

every system, every process in your business,

everything takes longer than you ever desire.

Build that house, it takes longer than you want.

Do a remodel, it takes longer than you want.

Cement a beautiful relationship,

it takes longer than you want to really get deep,

versus that person that's on an interview with you

while you're on a date.

You know what I'm saying?

So the bottom line is this,

the uber successful, the wealthy person inside you,

wants out, and the question is,

are you going to let them out?

He thought you were... awesome. He thought I was awesome? My brother?

Definitely!

How?

Well...

He said There's nothing like your smile

Sort of subtle and perfect and real

He said

You never knew how wonderful That smile could make someone feel

And he knew

Whenever you get bored

You scribble stars on the cuffs of your jeans

And he noticed

That you still fill out the quizzes That they put in those teen magazines

But he kept it all inside his head

What he saw he left unsaid

And though he wanted to

He couldn't talk to you

He couldn't find the way

But he would always say

If I could tell her Tell her everything I see

If I could tell her How she's everything to me

But we're a million worlds apart

And I don't know how I would even start

If I could tell her

If I could tell her

Did he say anything else? A..about you?

Never mind, I don't really care anyways..

No, no, no..just, no, no..he said..he said so many things, I'm just..I'm trying to remember

the best ones.

So, um..

He thought You looked really pretty, er..

It looked pretty cool when you put indigo streaks in your hair

He did?

And he wondered how you learned to dance Like all the rest of the world isn't there

But he kept it all inside his head

What he saw he left unsaid

If I could tell her Tell her everything I see

If I could tell her How she's everything to me

But we're a million worlds apart And I don't know how I would even start

If I could tell her

If I could tell her But what do you do when there's this great

divide?

He just seemed so far away

And what do you do when the distance is too wide?

It's like I don't know anything And how do you say I love you?

I love you

I love you

I love you

But we're a million worlds apart

3 Tips to Improve Your Day - Duration: 3:51.

Hi my love! Today I came to bring you three tips for you to start your day.

When starting a day, it's super important to know how to start, if you do not know

how to start you can destroy the rest of the day. Really.

So, you start the day, please avoid news and newspapers.

We already said that in the other video. Nowadays you have resources to

look for what you want to know. You can go on the internet specifically research the

topic you want to know. You do not have to intoxicate yourself with all the blood

the newspapers feed on. Newspapers feed on blood, and blood sticks

in their gullets. What is blood? All the violence that surrounds everything everywhere.

You do not need that. If you need to stay informed about something,

choose the themes and search specifically for them.

Stop watching, reading, listening newspaper. It will only bring bad thing earlier

in the day. I'm talking about this, because there are people who pick up, wake up at 5 o'clock in the morning, and call

the first newspaper, which starts in 5 o'clock. There are several newspapers, which go until 9 and a little in the

morning, only on television, except the rest. Really.

The second tip I'll give you is: avoid the cell phone when you wake up.

How many people, if you do you can write here, how many people who wake up,

already reach out, pick up the cell phone and go straight to Whatsapp? Your mind is already

working on it. Sometimes bad news, sometimes

someone tells you something unpleasant, criticism, complains, we have a

work charge ... So cell phone is after you get up, wake up, have coffee. It's

after you're wide awake. Avoid the cell phone, this is the second tip.

Third tip, watch your thoughts. Because? Thoughts are important

throughout the day, but the thoughts you have

in the morning are extremely important. Because we are going

to place a certain state. When you sleep, you do not move,

the body does not move, some people have low

serotonin during the night. The tendency is to get up to

have bad thoughts. So you see, it might be a person that when you

get up, you have bad thoughts, those thoughts will feed you

throughout the day. It's okay, you're not sick because it's like this. There are people who

wake up in the vibe, wonderful, understood? And all good comes in the head. But it is not

the majority. Most wake up with bad thoughts. "Ah, that day is going to be

boring, that day is going to be bad." And start to remember. I'll have to do it at such time, I'll do it ...

In the morning, avoid. In the morning, think good thoughts, think about the sun, think

about love, think about food, think about what you want, that is good for you.

Then, for a while the moment you wake up, nourish yourself with good

thoughts. There are three simple, basic tips, but if you do, practice

a week you'll start to see difference. If you make this a

practice, you will see a lot of difference. We're talking quick practice,

we're not talking about hours of practice. Try, try to avoid these

addictions. If you have any stories to tell about it, let me know that I'm going

to enjoy reading and sharing with you.

If you liked this video, share it because when you

help each other, you help each other too.

A kiss! Take it!

Never Just A Car - Duration: 12:05.

Consider the car.

Cruise, commute, sit in traffic, take a road trip, make out in the back seat, break down,

get pulled over, push the pedal to the metal, race, chase, crash.

The car has a ubiquitous place in cinema.

But why is cinema obsessed with the automobile?

One of the most fetishized objects in film, the car is represented more often, and more

diversely than any other form of transportation.

But to call the car transportation, is to misunderstand its role in film entirely.

The car movie, and the large car chase action set pieces are probably what leap immediately

to mind when thinking of cars in movies, and you could make a whole video essay about those

things alone.

But the space the car has carved out in the movies is much larger than that.

The car is a costume.

A character's car can tell you a lot about a them before they even speak.

In Nightcrawler, Lou's car is the main way we're shown that he's gaining success.

In Boyhood, the car the father drives tips us off the the fact that he's the "fun

irresponsible dad" and when he trades it in later in the film, it's an indication

of personal change.

A car can be an extension of a character, in

The Darjeeling Limited the brother's attempts to retrieve their father's broken down car

from the garage on the way to his funeral illustrates their dysfunction in the midst

of their grief.

In The Big Lebowski, … the destruction of the Dude's car parallels the out-of-control

spiral of the story.

In Taxi Driver, Travis' Bickle's Taxi is a high horse for him to sit upon.

It is what separates him from what he calls the scum of the street.

The car is a location.

The interior is a dramatic stage.

The characters can all face the audience and the scenes that unfold inside a car are as

varied as the humans that occupy them.

This forced intimacy is instant fodder for what cinema loves to examine.

Though equally interesting to the prying eyes of the film camera are the inescapable silences,

and the arguments.

Cars trap us in a box with other people who can't leave, at least without hurting themselves.

There's the tension of being forced into the back seat with a few unsavory characters,

or the joy of being crammed together with some buddies.

A car can separate a character from their surroundings.

It's a portable space we own.

It's a representation of our individualism, of our personal freedom.

In the car you get to go where you want to go, your hands are on the wheel.

You feel you control your destiny.

You get to put your music on.

That space provides a, perhaps false, sense of privacy shelter from the outside world.

Criminals feel free to talk business. You might try to hide in one from outside danger.

But that space can be invaded, revealing how fragile a shell of protection it really is.

And the freedom the car gives us can leave us vulnerable.

The Car as a location includes more than just the interior though.

The archipelago of cars in a parking lot are personal islands for people to gather around

for conversation.

Leaning at someone's car window puts you on the line between stranger and friend, waiting

to be welcomed in, or evaluating whether you'd even want to enter.

A character might remove someone from their car as an attempt to remove that person from

their life.

Or drive away to achieve the same effect.

The car can symbolizes youth grasping for maturity and trying to enter adulthood.

In Rushmore, Max's constant invasion of adult's cars is an image of his attempts

to be a part of their world.

In Lady Bird, Lady Bird's need for others to drive her around is an image of her dependence

and then eventual gaining of independence.

The car

is violent.

The trauma of a accident has been used endlessly as a dramatic tool.

A visual shorthand, it's a favorite of the flashback.

Vandalizing a car isn't an attack on an object, it's an attack on the person who

drives that car.

The car itself can become a way to act out.

In the Godfather, there is a motif of violence in association with cars.

Perhaps representing how changing times are presenting challenges for the Mafia, a car

is a dangerous, vulnerable place to be for a mobster.

Maybe the car harnesses some more primal instinct for the thrill of the chase.

It's a mundane and common place part of our lives that can suddenly become a vehicle

of thrill, a weapon, and gadget, or a detective's tool for investigation.

Enticing to the camera is the movement, the endless motion of the landscapes found outside

the windows.

There can be a dramatic inevitability to this movement, a feeling of something that can't

be undone.

Locke, a movie set entirely in a car during a single trip, uses the finality of each mile

driven to build tension.

But that movement can also come to a screeching halt, leaving people stuck, unable to get

where they want to go, creating some of the conflict and obstacles every character needs.

The obsession runs deep.

Even in our fantasies we cling to the image of the car.

We use it to traverse through time.

Even when society has been utterly destroyed, the car remains.

We consistently humanize the car and imbue upon it a personality and self, making it

one of the few pieces of technology we seem to consistently anthropomorphize in our media.

Scenes in cars have been shot in a variety of ways throughout film history.

But there emerges what I see as two primary approaches.

In the first, and most common, the camera assumes an omniscient presence around the

vehicle.

Impossibly floating in and around the car to provided the best compositions.

The second approach, rising to prominence through the French New Wave, places the camera

in the car, the viewer just another passenger.

But filmmakers have gone to great lengths to film the car, it presents a challenge,

but one that filmmakers are obviously willing to overcome.

I think the diversity of things that a car can be or represent, makes it a perfect tool

for filmmakers.Certainly, Hollywood's location in a city where cars are a necessity has impacted

the presence of cars in the movies.

LA writers write cars into films because cars are a part of their lives.

The world's empire of film had been located in a city with public transportation, maybe

things would be different.

Cinema is the technological sibling of the car, born of the same era, neither knows of

a time without the other.

How will cinema be effected by the way the car changes?

Will the arrival of self-driving cars be like the cellphone?

An obstacle that writers will have to learn to write for, something that challenges the

conventions of how transportation is displayed.

Whether or not it continues to be, the car has been a vital piece of cinematic storytelling.

In a film a car is never just a car.
