Calving and Technology on the Ranch - Duration: 13:26.

Hi I'm Mike, today we head out early and help calves be born and we take a look at

the technology behind calving as we go new school and old school on our Wyoming Life.

Welcome to our Wyoming life, its 4am here on the ranch and that's when my day starts

now days.

Over the past month or so we have been calving our heifers and now as they wind down we are

all set for the cows to going into labor and bringing their babies into the world.

life and escape the ordinary and if you are coming back, thanks for being a part of our

awesome community.

Heifers are first time moms, and they require quite a bit of monitoring during the month

or so that they have been calving, they are inexperienced in the process and sometimes

they don't even know that they have had a calf and that why we keep a really close

eye on them.

We have to make sure they accept their calves, that they take care of them and that they

are able to have them safely in the first place.

With the heifers winding down, things get a little bit easier but by no means is the

struggle of calving over.

We still have over 150 cows to go, and now begins a long calving season on the ranch.

Cows still need someone to watch over them, we make sure calves are born safely and are

healthy.

We tag babies so that we can help keep track of who has calved and who hasn't, and we

are able to reunite lost calves with their moms.

Calving the cows, is an all day long process.

They don't clock out for me at 5 and I sleep when I can, checking them every few hours.

Our first years here, were tough.

I didn't have a clue about cows, the calving process, how cows would react to getting their

calves tagged and most importantly we didn't know the early warning signs of trouble.

Believe it or not I got this book, Beef Cattle for Dummies, and started learning everything

that I could about cows and soon I felt more confident and sure in my abilities.

But as with anything there is always room for improvement and one thing that hasn't

really been incorporated well into ranching is technology, and I get it, there's the

old romantic notion of following your cows on horseback through the hills and valleys.

Sleeping under the stars, falling asleep on your bedroll listening to the cows lull you

sleep.

It's cool but its also a business and just as in the late 1800's and the repeating

rifle was huge new technology and helped protect herds all across the west, now new technology

is emerging for ranchers and cows and calving.

As we get ready to head out this morning we are going to use some of that technology here

on the ranch, we've got thermal imagine, spotlights and tools that help make things

a lot easier, but just like ranchers in the past century, it all still comes down to knowing

your cows, and knowing what to look for.

It is dark out here, without lights you wouldn't be able to see but a few feet ahead of you,

no street lights to light our way, no glowing sign from the holiday inn to light up the

country side.

On the bright side, so to speak, it's a great place to go star gazing, but its horrible

conditions to try to find a single cow, somewhere in about 400 acres.

She's out there and tonight its our job to find her.

Luckily, we have to tools to do it.

Most of our night checks are done in the John Deere Gator, its got an enclosed cab, not

only to protect us from the weather but also from an angry mom, or to make a good place

to get a calf in and warming up if we have to take him or her back to the barn.

On top of the gator is a spotlight, this is a Go Light radio-controlled spotlight, it's

got a 200,000-candlepower bulb and will shine out about 300 yards on a clear night.

It features 370-degree rotation as well as tilt and it invaluable for searching for calves

or cows at night.

Using the remote from inside the gator I can aim it exactly where I need it.

The only problem being, where you aim it is all you see.

You have to keep moving the spot light constantly to find what you are looking for and that's

where one of our newest, most expensive and most important pieces of equipment comes in

and helps out.

This is a FLIR thermal imager, it's a Scout III.

This one sells currently for about 1400$ and there are versions that are less expensive.

We look at it as investment in the ranch, if you save two calves with this device, its

paid for itself, which it already has.

This unit features different settings for viewing heat and we can switch it on the fly,

depending on current conditions.

Some setting work better in snow, some in fog and others work better in even warmer

weather.

The best way for us to use it is to find a high vantage point and scan the pasture.

Most cows will hang out together at night but a cow that is in labor or recently calved

will tend to separate herself from the herd.

Sometimes even hiding to have her calf.

The higher we are above the pasture the better and one a small hill we can take a look across

400 acres at one time.

Looking for any hotspots out in the field.

Just like this one.

This small dot is something that is giving off heat, its located about 2000 feet away

from where we are at this time or a third of a mile.

And I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that is a cow in labor.

Heading that way, we can use the Flir Thermal imager to keep our bearings until we are able

to get a spotlight on the cow.

This is number 65, she's 7 years old and this will be her 6th calf that she has had

on the ranch.

By checking our records, I know that she has never had any calving problems or complications

and with the sun beginning to rise, apparently her labor isn't too intense because she

heads back towards the cows and the rest of the herd.

Who are all waiting for breakfast, and I'm nothing if not a good server, so we roll out

a couple bales of hay for cows to get their morning meal out of the way.

We are expecting temperatures into the 50's today, lows at night are still dipping into

the teens, but once the sun shows up, man, it feels good.

Another piece of technology we have at our disposal is the MooCall.

This thing is truly cool and could help you out with your prize cow or a cow or heifer

you have in the barn waiting to calve.

The moo call device costs about 300 bucks and includes your first year of service, additional

years of service cost about 120 bucks, and here's how it works.

Cows are crappy poker players, they all have tells, not when they are holding a good hand,

but when they are in labor and over time you can learn to spot them from a long way away.

The moocall takes one of the cows tells and translates it into digital signals, and that

tell, comes from the cow's tail.

When cows are in labor, they are going to swish their tails around, and the closer they

get to having a calf, the more they are going to do it.

By strapping the moocall to your cow's tail, it will measure the movement and look for

that sweet spot, indicating looming birth.

When it gets those signals, it texts your phone.

That's right, you get a text, a butt dial from a cow, telling you that you had better

get out and check on her.

Its amazing and it works really well, we haven't had a chance to use it yet this year but last

year we used it and it worked great and we look forward to using it this year as well.

With the cows fed, and an hour or so gone by we can now head back out to check on number

65 and see what she is doing.

We know she's going to have a calf today, the question is when.

But how do we know she's going to have a calf and just doesn't want some alone time.

The tells I told you about are easy to see once you know what you are looking for, and

some you can spot from across the pasture and the easiest to see is the tail position.

Not only does a cow hold her tail up to give birth but her pelvic ligaments are going to

loosen preparing to give birth.

Another tell is mucus and discharge, the closer they are the more there will be.

Another indication of labor, it little feet, calves are born front feet first, their nose

will normally slip out after their feet and wedged between their legs and the rest of

their body to follow.

When we see feet, we expect to have a calf within the hour and if we don't, then we

have trouble, either a stuck or breech calf.

Our girl number 65 is close and we going to give her a bit of privacy and check another

cow, just down the hill, who looks like she snuck under the radar and had her calf here

with in the last hour or so.

Looking back at the Flir footage from this morning, we can actually see where she was,

I looked right over her but there she is, that little dot.

Luckily, she looks like she had her calf just fine.

This is one of Gracie's cows, and the calf gets a pink ear tag, Graces color.

I've had some people ask how I can keep the cows so calm when I mess with their calves,

I don't know the exact answer.

These cows are very used to me being up close and personal with them.

When I feed, I get out of the tractor and am right up with them as I cut net wrap off

the bales.

I walk through them while they are eating and I guess they trust me.

They know I'm not there to hurt anyone or anyone's calf, but they also know that I

am the boss, when its time to sort or move cows, they know when I say go, they go and

they can argue but they will lose.

So, its 95% trust 5% fear, that's my guess anyway.

With Graces calf tagged and ready to go, we can go back to 65 and take a look and see

what is going on there.

We are getting close and now it's nothing but a waiting game because she has been in

labor for so long, we are going to keep a pretty close eye on her and wait for this

calf to be born.

Eventually though the time is coming close as toes emerge, in an effort to gain herself

some privacy she is going to leave us and we are going to back off.

Giving her some space but keeping her in sight.

When she lays down, then its go time and we can swoop in, not taking all the credit, but

hey we are here.

This little boy makes the 23-calf born this year on the ranch, and as each calf is born,

the future of the ranch is carried along with them.

We do this not only for the love of animals, but for the love of our family, to be able

to offer them the life that we have lived, the lessons we have learned and experiences

we have been through.

Ranching and farming is all about a legacy, and using technology, learning new ways to

do things is a part of a legacy that I hope that I can pass on, but as with any technology,

you can't forget the ways that our grandparents and parents did it.

When the electricity goes out we still reach for candles and imagine what would happen

if you didn't know how to light it.

Reading cows signals, knowing their behavior, and what is normal and what is not is sometimes

the best tool you can have in your tool box, that and common sense, and the ability to

walk on your own.

Calving and Technology on the Ranch - Duration: 13:26.

Hi I'm Mike, today we head out early and help calves be born and we take a look at

the technology behind calving as we go new school and old school on our Wyoming Life.

Welcome to our Wyoming life, its 4am here on the ranch and that's when my day starts

now days.

Over the past month or so we have been calving our heifers and now as they wind down we are

all set for the cows to going into labor and bringing their babies into the world.

If this is your first time here, please subscribe and come along with us as we explore the ranch

life and escape the ordinary and if you are coming back, thanks for being a part of our

awesome community.

Heifers are first time moms, and they require quite a bit of monitoring during the month

or so that they have been calving, they are inexperienced in the process and sometimes

they don't even know that they have had a calf and that why we keep a really close

eye on them.

We have to make sure they accept their calves, that they take care of them and that they

are able to have them safely in the first place.

With the heifers winding down, things get a little bit easier but by no means is the

struggle of calving over.

We still have over 150 cows to go, and now begins a long calving season on the ranch.

Cows still need someone to watch over them, we make sure calves are born safely and are

healthy.

We tag babies so that we can help keep track of who has calved and who hasn't, and we

are able to reunite lost calves with their moms.

Calving the cows, is an all day long process.

They don't clock out for me at 5 and I sleep when I can, checking them every few hours.

Our first years here, were tough.

I didn't have a clue about cows, the calving process, how cows would react to getting their

calves tagged and most importantly we didn't know the early warning signs of trouble.

Believe it or not I got this book, Beef Cattle for Dummies, and started learning everything

that I could about cows and soon I felt more confident and sure in my abilities.

But as with anything there is always room for improvement and one thing that hasn't

really been incorporated well into ranching is technology, and I get it, there's the

old romantic notion of following your cows on horseback through the hills and valleys.

Sleeping under the stars, falling asleep on your bedroll listening to the cows lull you

sleep.

It's cool but its also a business and just as in the late 1800's and the repeating

rifle was huge new technology and helped protect herds all across the west, now new technology

is emerging for ranchers and cows and calving.

As we get ready to head out this morning we are going to use some of that technology here

on the ranch, we've got thermal imagine, spotlights and tools that help make things

a lot easier, but just like ranchers in the past century, it all still comes down to knowing

your cows, and knowing what to look for.

It is dark out here, without lights you wouldn't be able to see but a few feet ahead of you,

no street lights to light our way, no glowing sign from the holiday inn to light up the

country side.

On the bright side, so to speak, it's a great place to go star gazing, but its horrible

conditions to try to find a single cow, somewhere in about 400 acres.

She's out there and tonight its our job to find her.

Luckily, we have to tools to do it.

Most of our night checks are done in the John Deere Gator, its got an enclosed cab, not

only to protect us from the weather but also from an angry mom, or to make a good place

to get a calf in and warming up if we have to take him or her back to the barn.

On top of the gator is a spotlight, this is a Go Light radio-controlled spotlight, it's

got a 200,000-candlepower bulb and will shine out about 300 yards on a clear night.

It features 370-degree rotation as well as tilt and it invaluable for searching for calves

or cows at night.

Using the remote from inside the gator I can aim it exactly where I need it.

The only problem being, where you aim it is all you see.

You have to keep moving the spot light constantly to find what you are looking for and that's

where one of our newest, most expensive and most important pieces of equipment comes in

and helps out.

This is a FLIR thermal imager, it's a Scout III.

This one sells currently for about 1400$ and there are versions that are less expensive.

We look at it as investment in the ranch, if you save two calves with this device, its

paid for itself, which it already has.

This unit features different settings for viewing heat and we can switch it on the fly,

depending on current conditions.

Some setting work better in snow, some in fog and others work better in even warmer

weather.

The best way for us to use it is to find a high vantage point and scan the pasture.

Most cows will hang out together at night but a cow that is in labor or recently calved

will tend to separate herself from the herd.

Sometimes even hiding to have her calf.

The higher we are above the pasture the better and one a small hill we can take a look across

400 acres at one time.

Looking for any hotspots out in the field.

Just like this one.

This small dot is something that is giving off heat, its located about 2000 feet away

from where we are at this time or a third of a mile.

And I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that is a cow in labor.

Heading that way, we can use the Flir Thermal imager to keep our bearings until we are able

to get a spotlight on the cow.

This is number 65, she's 7 years old and this will be her 6th calf that she has had

on the ranch.

By checking our records, I know that she has never had any calving problems or complications

and with the sun beginning to rise, apparently her labor isn't too intense because she

heads back towards the cows and the rest of the herd.

Who are all waiting for breakfast, and I'm nothing if not a good server, so we roll out

a couple bales of hay for cows to get their morning meal out of the way.

We are expecting temperatures into the 50's today, lows at night are still dipping into

the teens, but once the sun shows up, man, it feels good.

Another piece of technology we have at our disposal is the MooCall.

This thing is truly cool and could help you out with your prize cow or a cow or heifer

you have in the barn waiting to calve.

The moo call device costs about 300 bucks and includes your first year of service, additional

years of service cost about 120 bucks, and here's how it works.

Cows are crappy poker players, they all have tells, not when they are holding a good hand,

but when they are in labor and over time you can learn to spot them from a long way away.

The moocall takes one of the cows tells and translates it into digital signals, and that

tell, comes from the cow's tail.

When cows are in labor, they are going to swish their tails around, and the closer they

get to having a calf, the more they are going to do it.

By strapping the moocall to your cow's tail, it will measure the movement and look for

that sweet spot, indicating looming birth.

When it gets those signals, it texts your phone.

That's right, you get a text, a butt dial from a cow, telling you that you had better

get out and check on her.

Its amazing and it works really well, we haven't had a chance to use it yet this year but last

year we used it and it worked great and we look forward to using it this year as well.

With the cows fed, and an hour or so gone by we can now head back out to check on number

65 and see what she is doing.

We know she's going to have a calf today, the question is when.

But how do we know she's going to have a calf and just doesn't want some alone time.

The tells I told you about are easy to see once you know what you are looking for, and

some you can spot from across the pasture and the easiest to see is the tail position.

Not only does a cow hold her tail up to give birth but her pelvic ligaments are going to

loosen preparing to give birth.

Another tell is mucus and discharge, the closer they are the more there will be.

Another indication of labor, it little feet, calves are born front feet first, their nose

will normally slip out after their feet and wedged between their legs and the rest of

their body to follow.

When we see feet, we expect to have a calf within the hour and if we don't, then we

have trouble, either a stuck or breech calf.

Our girl number 65 is close and we going to give her a bit of privacy and check another

cow, just down the hill, who looks like she snuck under the radar and had her calf here

with in the last hour or so.

Looking back at the Flir footage from this morning, we can actually see where she was,

I looked right over her but there she is, that little dot.

Luckily, she looks like she had her calf just fine.

This is one of Gracie's cows, and the calf gets a pink ear tag, Graces color.

I've had some people ask how I can keep the cows so calm when I mess with their calves,

I don't know the exact answer.

These cows are very used to me being up close and personal with them.

When I feed, I get out of the tractor and am right up with them as I cut net wrap off

the bales.

I walk through them while they are eating and I guess they trust me.

They know I'm not there to hurt anyone or anyone's calf, but they also know that I

am the boss, when its time to sort or move cows, they know when I say go, they go and

they can argue but they will lose.

So, its 95% trust 5% fear, that's my guess anyway.

With Graces calf tagged and ready to go, we can go back to 65 and take a look and see

what is going on there.

We are getting close and now it's nothing but a waiting game because she has been in

labor for so long, we are going to keep a pretty close eye on her and wait for this

calf to be born.

Eventually though the time is coming close as toes emerge, in an effort to gain herself

some privacy she is going to leave us and we are going to back off.

Giving her some space but keeping her in sight.

When she lays down, then its go time and we can swoop in, not taking all the credit, but

hey we are here.

This little boy makes the 23-calf born this year on the ranch, and as each calf is born,

the future of the ranch is carried along with them.

We do this not only for the love of animals, but for the love of our family, to be able

to offer them the life that we have lived, the lessons we have learned and experiences

we have been through.

Ranching and farming is all about a legacy, and using technology, learning new ways to

do things is a part of a legacy that I hope that I can pass on, but as with any technology,

you can't forget the ways that our grandparents and parents did it.

When the electricity goes out we still reach for candles and imagine what would happen

if you didn't know how to light it.

Reading cows signals, knowing their behavior, and what is normal and what is not is sometimes

the best tool you can have in your tool box, that and common sense, and the ability to

walk on your own.

Hi friends, this is Ramya from wildturmeric. In this video, I wanted to share

an amazing recipe for tomato facial ice cubes that fades scars, dark spots and

pigmentation three times faster. I have been using these tomato ice cubes for

the past week every single day. One amazing thing about these ice cubes is

it melts into the skin super fast leaving the skin incredibly soft and

instantly brighter. It also fades scars unbelievably faster.

If you want scars and dark spots to fade away quickly, I would highly suggest you

give these ice cubes a try.

For making the ice cubes take four medium ripe tomatoes and cut them into small pieces. Tomatoes are rich in vitamin C which can

prevent and treat acne. It also brightens dull skin. Tomatoes are rich in lycopene,

the phytochemical that is responsible for the beautiful red color of the

tomatoes. It's a very powerful antioxidant that greatly prevents

premature aging of the skin and gives a natural glow to it. Once you have cut the

tomatoes, grind them to a fine paste in a blender without adding any water.

Now strain out the juice to get a very fine smooth juice. Straining the tomato

juice is important else the tomato ice cubes will not be smooth. Also make sure

to use ripe tomatoes and grind them without adding any water for best

results. You don't have to separately do this, when you're making tomato puree for

gravies or curries, just make sure to save some for making the ice cubes.

Once you've strained out the juice, add in 1/2 teaspoon of kasturi turmeric

powder to it. Finally add in a tablespoon of lemon juice too. Mix well to combine

the ingredients well. Make sure to use kasturi turmeric as it does not stain

the skin like normal turmeric. Both turmeric and lemon juice also fades all

blemishes very quickly. Now pour this mixture in an ice cube tray.

Usually these ice cubes take around 4 hours to freeze completely.

They also store well. Once they freeze completely, you can store them in

a ziploc bag and use them whenever you like. Once you've poured the mixture,

freeze them till they harden. Tomato facial cubes are now ready! These are one

of the best facial ice cubes I have tried so far. Even you will agree with me if

you try them. To use, take an ice cube and rub it directly on the face, you'll find

it melting immediately into the skin. Rub till the ice cube melts completely into

the skin. Personally, I don't mind using the ice cube directly on my skin but if

you don't like to use it directly, you can wrap it in a thin muslin cloth and

then use. Within a week of regular use, you'll find all scars and blemishes fading

away very quickly.

PELOSI'S PLOT: Nancy Pledges to REPEAL GOP TAX CUTS if Dems Take the House.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi doubled-down on her baseless attacks on the GOP tax cuts

this week, telling a packed audience she plans to repeal the legislation should Democrats

manage to retake the House of Representatives this fall.

Pelosi was speaking at a town hall event in California Wednesday night when she lashed-out

at the President's tax overhaul, claiming over 80% of the benefits go "to the top

one percent."

"Over 80 percent of the benefits go to the top 1 percent," said the former Speaker

of the House.

"Eighty-six million middle-class families will see a tax increase while they advertise

it as a middle-class bill."

Pelosi's comments come just a day after the US government published a strong economic

forecast, with record low unemployment, higher wages, and big bonuses as American workers

feel the benefits of the GOP-sponsored cuts.California Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu, speaking alongside

Pelosi at the event, said the GOP tax cuts would result in "deep cuts to Social Security,

to Medicare, to all these critical programs that serve a lot of Americans."

Pelosi didn't offer specifics when asked if Democrats would re-work the bill from scratch

or focus on specific portions, saying instead her party would work openly with Republicans

to reach a deal.

"One of our complaints about what they did with the tax bill is they did it in the dark

of night with the speed of light," the California Democrat said.

"We'll sit down at the table and say … what would be a tax bill that creates growth, that

creates good paying jobs as it reduces the deficit?" she said.

"It's not about chipping at this piece or that piece, it's about a comprehensive

look at what our tax policy should be for the future," she added.

"Secondly, we would do it so it would be transparent so that people could understand

the ramifications of this, that or the other," Pelosi promised.

Pelosi's comments Wednesday comes after she said in February that Democrats would

have to "replace and repeal" the GOP tax bill once retaking the House.

"It may have to be a 'replace and repeal' — replace them and repeal the bill," Pelosi

said.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer offered a more specific proposal towards reworking

the GOP tax plan in March.

His plan called for a number of tax hikes, including lifting the corporate tax rate to

25 percent, raising the income tax rate to 39.6 percent for high earning Americans and

slashing the carried-interest tax loophole

restorative yoga class for rejuvenation

We're gonna have a seat

cross your shins

Flex your feet under your knees sit up tall and the two sits bones at the bottom of your pelvis and then take your strap

We're going to loop the strap so that there is a loop that is the same distance as your shoulders

If you're using a yoga strap follow these instructions if not you might have to do a makeshift

Tying a knot and kind of adjusting as you go if you're using a belt or a strap

Another type of strap substitute, but anyway

I have my yoga strap here taking the end of the strap placing it in the two buckles the two metal buckles

and I'm pulling it through and then I'm taking the end of the strap and pulling it back through just one of the

metal loops

And then I can tighten it

pulling the end of the strap

And tightening your loop, and then you're going to measure the distance of your shoulders, so you can put your arms through it I?

have fairly wide shoulders, so

This works for me

So once you have your loop that is

shoulders distance

We're going to do some side bending so place the thumb in the strap the thumbs

And then you're going to on an inhale lift your arms up

Your arms are raised your whole side body on both of your sides are lengthened

You're sitting evenly on your sits bones at the bottom of your pelvis on the floor and then from here take another inhale lengthen up

And on your exhale tilt it over to the left

Keep that right hip on the floor as you tilt to the left stretching the whole right side body

And on another inhale

Lift back up we'll take that on the other side

inhale

lengthen up

exhale tilt over to the right

Keep the left hip on the floor lengthen the left side of your body your arms are still energized

and

Come back up. We'll repeat that on both sides, so take an inhale lengthen up exhale tilt over to the left

stretching the right side of your body

Breathing here

Inhale come back up and switch to the other side lengthen your body as you tilt over to the right

And slowly come back up

Release your hands from the strap and from here set your strap down you can put it on the side for now

we'll come back to it in just a moment and we're going to take your hands place them behind you on the

Fingertips, so your hands are like little teepees behind you the backs of your hands are facing behind you palms are facing forward

We're going to take an inhale use your hands on the ground to press yourself up lengthen up and then from here

We're going to open the chest up towards the ceiling

Reaching the heart center up looking up open the shoulders wide

Hold here for a moment and feel your shoulders

Lengthening apart they're going in opposing directions away from each other opening the chest

And slowly release out of your arch and bring your arms back in front of you

And then we're going to give ourselves a hug

So I'm gonna inhale bring your arms out to the side

And then cross your right arm under your left

And then bring your hands to wrap around near your shoulder blades

I guess this depends on the length of your arms

But for me I can reach all the way to my shoulder blades so wherever you can reach just they're going in that direction

you're giving yourself a hug opening the chest or the

Shoulders behind you the upper back area

So just hold here for a moment

We nearly try and bring those fingertips together, so they're not going to touch each other unless you have extremely long arms

But try and touch your fingertips behind do as much as you can or as far as you can

So hold here for one more moment

And then release yourself from the hog

And we'll take that on the other side we can also now uncross our chins and switch the cross of your shins

So crossing the opposite leg you have in front

Flex your feet under your knees once again and set up to all adjust yourself

And then this side we're going to place the arms out to the side, and then bring the left arm under the right this time

I'm just hold here as you hug yourself

Try and touch your fingertips together bringing them together energetically as much as you can they won't actually touch

Breathe here for a moment

And

Release your hands

From your hug from here. We are going to set our strap off to the side. We won't be using it anymore for this class

And then we're going to come to lying down on the back for a first restorative pose of the class

For this we've been using a block one yellow block if you

Have a cork yoga block I recommend

Maybe trying a pillow instead or a bolster, maybe a folded blanket instead

I'm using a foam yoga block because it's a little bit softer, but

Find what works best for you in this moment?

I will show you the pose and then you can evaluate and decide what you'd like to use so I

Have my my block here. I'll set it off to the side for a moment come to a lying flat on my back

With my knees bent feet flat on the floor knees bent heels in towards the hips

And then I'm going to take my block lifting my hips up towards the ceiling

And then I'm going to place the block right underneath my sacrum

So your sacrum is that disc shaped bone all the way at the bottom of your spine

It's what holds the pelvic bones

Together behind you at the spine place the block right underneath the sacrum here

And then this is where we're going to remain for quite a few deep breaths once again

If this is uncomfortable for your spine, I recommend removing the block or whatever you're using

trying something a bit softer, so you can use a

So you can use maybe a couch pillow a bed pillow even although that might be too soft

Just play around with it. See what works best for you

So we're here

keep the knees pointed up towards the ceiling and then you can place your hands down by your sides palms facing up and

Look up towards the ceiling so your want to be facing the ceiling once you're settled close your eyes

Begin to deepen your breath

Breathing in and out through your nose

Quiet the mind by focusing your attention on your breath

Taking note of how the breath feels as it's moving in and out of your body

Throughout this process just

if another thought comes into your mind

That's totally normal

Just acknowledge the thought and then gently set it to the side

And remain here

You

Bring some slight motion back into your body gently moving your hands

engage your abdominal muscles, so squeeze your abdominals and

as you do this lift your hips off the block and

Gently set the block off

to the side

Okay here we're going to grab our yoga blanket

I'll sit up so that we can set the blanket up

So you have your blanket here

some folding mine in a square shape

Placing the square down so I could roll the blanket

You know I think this is too thick to be honest so

I'm going to make it into a rectangle and

Then roll the blanket

And you can play with the height of your roll depending on your comfort level. We're going to be placing this roll

I'll turn this

this way

So with restorative yoga with all these props that we use we have to play around with it sometimes

You can see what works best

So I'm gonna have a small ish height of my role here, and then what I'm going to do is lie down

on top of it and place the

Roll so the you're laying on top of the roll for the ladies

It's right at the bra line so where the back of your bra is

That's where you want to place the roll for the men if you don't really know imagine. You're wearing a bra and imagine

That's where it would be it's right underneath your shoulder blades

So the little bones at the back of your shoulder the tips of it. It's right underneath that line so you're here

Once you find your need to move this

Okay

so

once you find your position

bring your arms to a

cactus shape

So that means bend your arms up palms are facing the ceiling and from here

I'm going to straighten my legs you can leave your legs bent as they were if you have low back

Sensitivity, but if this is comfortable for you straighten your legs relax your feet relax your legs completely and once you find

your comfortable position here

once again look up towards the ceiling close your eyes and

Just as we did in the previous pose begin to focus on your breathing

You can try something else if the last

Pose you

Focused on the pathway of the breath, maybe this trap this time you can try focusing on

The way your belly rises and falls as you breathe or you can count to your breath

Can count backwards from 10, and then repeat whatever helps you to focus on the breathing

Try something new see what works best for you in this moment every moment is different

Every time we come back to a pose it's different so try something else or try

Something you've done before and you liked and just remain here

From here bring some slight motion back into your body once again moving your hands, and your feet gently your arms and your legs

Bring your arms back in towards your body and then engage your abdominals as you roll over to the right

You want to gently roll off of the roll?

Be sure that you're really engaging those abdominal muscles to activate the opposite

muscles that we were just

stretching here so the

abdominals support the back muscles the back muscles support the

Abdominal because they aren't opposing each other on opposite sides of your body the front in the back

So when we feel sometimes a deep stretch in one area?

It's good to engage the muscles in the other area for support to prevent things like

spasms and all that fun stuff that might happen so

That's like. That's why whenever I do a back bend or a deeper back bend

I like to engage the abdominal muscles there eventually afterwards

So anyway side note what I'm going to do is I'm going to take my elbow blanket in

The square shape and then roll it into a quite a thick log shape

And I'm going to take that roll place it underneath the knees

Relax the feet and gently lower myself down onto

the yoga mat on the ground

Then from there I have my bolster here, so it's quite

weighted and

Then I'm going to take the bolster and place it right on top of my pelvis

Gently press the bolster into your pelvis this calms the body and the nervous system down

And allows us to just relax a little bit deeper

So whatever you have if you want to use a blanket instead of a bolster on your pelvis. It's up to you find

Whatever works, and then once you're settled to bring your hands down by your sides turn your palms up towards the ceiling

Close your eyes

Begin to deepen your breath once again

Breathing through the nose

and remain

Here in your shavasana

You

You

You

You

Bring some slight motion back into your limbs to your hands and your feet

When you're ready remove the bolster from your pelvis set it off to the side

Gently roll yourself off of the blanket

Stay on the right side of your body with your knees bent

Arm underneath your head for support

Use your hands to help you come up to a seated position cross your shins

Flex your feet under your knees bring your hands to your legs

Close your eyes

Take a deep breath in

and

a deep breath out

Take a moment once again to say thank you to yourself

Having a moment of gratitude for taking the time out of your busy life

To practice yoga to do what you need to do to be healthy to relax yourself to take care of yourself

Just say, thank you to you

Bring your hands to me at the center of your chest bow your head to your fingertips namaste

Inside the New People's Army (Part 1) - Duration: 11:13.

There is two governments that exist,

the reactionary government which is represented

by what we call the ruling class, and the exploited class.

Tell the soldiers, there's a new order coming from the Mayor.

We won't kill you.

We will just shoot your [female rebels] vagina,

so that if there are no vaginas it would be useless.

From this on, we will shift now to active mode,

that means we can conduct our operations against the CPP-NPA.

When Rodrigo Duterte won

the Philippines' 2016 presidential election by a landslide,

millions of Filipinos hailed him as the man

who would stand up to the domestic and foreign powers

who keep the country impoverished.

But today, more Filipinos have been killed

by Duterte´s government than the thousands murdered

by Ferdinand Marcos, the U.S.-backed dictator

who enforced a bloody era of martial law in the 70s.

Duterte's broken his pledge to break

the Philippines' 65 year old military alliance with the United States.

Millions of dollars of U.S. military aid

continue to pour in, and last year they went to war together,

razing large parts of the Muslim city Marawi to the ground.

His election promise of peace talks with Communist militants

also hasn't got anywhere yet.

One moment he asks them to talk

and the next he threatens a new crackdown.

It's been going on like this for months.

The guerrilla are fighting in one of the world's oldest

Communist insurgencies for the New People's Army,

founded by 79-year-old Jose Maria Sison,

who lives in exile.

We went to meet the fighters

who are taking the NPA into its 50th year.

Deep in Mindanao's mountainous Bukidnon province,

we travelled through the dead of night

to stay out of the military's sights,

to a base that was still being set up as we arrived.

This mobile platoon is constantly on the move.

Their task is to spread the reach of the NPA

in the vast Filipino countryside.

Politically the whole Philippines

is scattered into three big islands:

Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao,

and particular in Mindanao, the strategic mountains

which are very suitable for waging revolution

is already occupied [by] guerrilla fronts.

The entire Philippines according to the data,

we have already 120+ guerrilla zones,

and particularly in our region in North Central Mindanao,

we have ten guerrilla fronts.

The NPA follow the teachings of Chairman Mao Zedong,

the leader of the Chinese Communist Revolution

that in 1949 overthrew the U.S.-backed forces of Chiang Kai Shek.

Their guerrilla warfare is modelled on his strategy

of Protracted People's War,

designed to overthrow an imperialist-backed state.

The Filipino left call Duterte's government

the U.S.-Duterte regime and say that even though

the Philippines officially won independence from the U.S. in 1946,

the American military is still in charge.

Foreign corporations continue to extract super profits

out of the country's natural and human resources,

just as they did under colonial rule,

while millions of Filipinos are living

in abject poverty surviving on barely a dollar a day.

Actually, I am not from the organised mass

but I work in Manila as a labourer, something like that.

So I feel so very, I feel the unjust system of the government.

I hate the government already at that time even though

there is no NPA coming to me that explain to me

"this is the government, this is a fascist government".

Then I return home

then I see a couple of comrades, I go with them.

Actually they really think that I cannot

survive because I am big, I am fat,

but in principles I believe in the Party,

I firmly believe in my comrades.

I really dedicate myself, my life to the revolution

until it's victory.

If I am not hit by the bullet!

The guerrilla work to a strict routine and strict rules,

like protect the environment, no swearing

and return everything you borrow.

They wake up at 4 a.m., exercise at 5,

have meals at set times,

and regular education sessions

to keep them well versed in the Communist Party's ideology

before they go out to nearby communities of peasants,

or what they call their "mass base".

In organising the mass base, we have our political lines,

we talk to them, we share with them their problems,

they will talk to us about their problems,

about what they want in their life.

Then we simply collate it all and then we summarise it.

We give them the solution of what they will do

to improve their lifestyle, their means of living.

Those solutions involve building

what the Communists call 'Organs of Political Power';

associations of local people

to resist powerful landlords and corporations.

They connect them with legal organisations in towns and cities

which will help them build schools and have access to healthcare,

services that the government fails to deliver

to remote areas just like this.

In the political aspect we establish a mass base,

the guerrilla zone, from the countryside to the cities.

This is what a guerrilla zone looks like:

In the centre you have the guerrilla base,

which is surrounded by several security and defence lines.

The inner defence lines are manned by NPA fighters,

the outer layers by People's Militia.

People's Militia are local peasants

trained and sometimes armed by the NPA.

Their responsibilities range from overseeing logistics,

channeling supplies to the guerrilla base, providing intelligence,

all the way up to defending the base and the masses

in the guerrilla zone with arms if necessary.

In turn the NPA trains these peasants

to build those 'Organs of Political Power',

their own organisations to deliver social services

that the state fails to - effectively a parallel form of government.

So the guerrilla zone becomes a thick layer

of local peasants who defend the guerrilla base.

And when mobile bases like this one move on,

the guerrilla zone remains,

because the NPA leave behind those 'Organs of Political Power'

and the People's Militia that they trained.

When Duterte says there is no single barrio

Jose Maria Sison controls.

We are installing, we are building

political power, political organs.

We had to blur many of the guerrilla's faces

because some of them, called 'part-timers',

go back into government controlled territory to build alliances

and bring new recruits to the NPA.

There are men, women, different age groups,

ethnic groups and LGBTQ people in this platoon

and they were keen to demonstrate that the NPA

is more inclusive than Filipino society in general.

My parents are not revolutionary.

I think I am just the only one, who holds an arm

just to serve the people, to liberate the people.

Gays must be militant, serving the people.

Showing that gays can be useful.

Gays are useful to the society.

They are creative, they can design, of course.

Let's go to the revolution and design the world,

create a new world!

The situation of the women,

the root cause is the situation of the society.

If the whole people are liberated

then the women will be liberated also.

Lorena Mangahas has been a guerrilla for 40 years.

She got married in the NPA,

escaped jail once and was released a second time.

How do you try to manage the experience

or the trauma of having been in jail?

To manage the trauma? In the jail I had a task.

I was one of the, what we call the mayor in the jail.

The mayor with no municipality.

But I was so busy in jail, when I was released

I immediately go to the countryside then do mass work.

When one of her children was old enough,

she also signed up to the cause.

I wrote the song in 1995.

The song inspired me that my children are not my own,

their owner is the society.

For the young people who are poisoned by imperialist culture,

only focused on themselves like a frog that's fallen

and is trapped inside a bucket.

The deception that the U.S. is good.

If only I can shout out how cruel the imperialist U.S. is

in the entire world today.

I built this computer about 2 or 3 years ago and this actually the computer I started the

Search For Awesome with.

I used it to edit with Adobe Premiere.

I really hate Adobe Premiere.

I found it really wasn't for me.

And so I had to keep looking for other options.

And believe it or not I switched to the 2014 Macbook Air.

I already had it and I downloaded the free trial of Final Cut and I ended up finding

out I liked Final Cut better.

But it was a 4 year old computer, so it could only last for so long.

So then it was time to make another change.

Then about a month ago, I switched to the 2016 Macbook Pro with Touchbar.

And I love this computer - it's really great.

No real complaints.

Battery life could be better.

So why am I telling you all this?

Well sometimes the tools at hand hold you back from what you are trying to do.

So it's time to move up.

And I have a new YouTube friend named Allen and he is hitting a wall with his current

editting PC and that's where I get the honor of coming in.

And by the way, I know how this story ends and I could not believe what I was able to

get within his budget.

This is How To Buy A PC On The Cheap In 2018.

So Allen, we have been talking for about a week or so.

And as we've been talking, I learned there is something that I might be able to help

you with.

Could you tell me a little more about that.

I want to actually upgrade and get a better non-linear editting system.

I used to have one back in the day, before things went 1080p.

Allen bought his current computer several years ago for gaming, but currently it's holding

him back and it's time for something new, but his budget is a bit limited.

I think you were telling me before your budget was somewhere in the ballpark of $700.

Is that right?

At this time yes, and the reason I don't want to necessarily go crazy and over the top is

because I'm about to launch a new series and I'm going to be spending a lot of money on

that.

The good news though is he actually not interesting in editing in 4k just yet.

1080p is just fine.

So yeah, I definitely think it is doable.

I just have one last question for and you can be honest.

Are you nervous?

A few months ago I upgraded Mr Red and the sound system he uses on his YouTube channel

in his videos and after the fact I asked him why did decide to trust me on this.

And he said it's because you exuded confidence and expertise and I guess you can say Titus

has done the same thing in me.

Well I think that is basically it.

I will get to work and you'll hear from me in maybe about a week or 2.

Okay sounds like a plan.

It was time to get to work.

My search started with the usuals - Microcenter, Amazon and Newegg.

But building a computer piece by piece with all new parts for $700 isn't easy.

So here is a Ryzen 5 1600 - a good CPU and it's at $190 which is quite a bite into the

budget.

Then even like a decent graphics card - this is an RX570 - even those start in the low

to mid 300s and then you throw in a copy of windows for $100 and then there is just not

much room left in the budget after all that.

After looking at some of the prebuilt machine options, I mean there were some okay options

but they were at the top of my price range for something decent and it didn't even have

a SSD which I think is kind of a must these days.

I exhausted any bridge of buying Allen a great new PC.

At that price point it just doesn't exist.

So it was time to search used options.

What's great about buying used is that's kinda where the deals are these days.

You watch Luke and Linus where they are facing off in Scrapyard wars trying to build the

best PC under a certain budget and they aren't an appointment at Apple waiting to buy the

latest iMac.

No they are going to Craiglist and eBay, because that is where the savings are.

And that's where the search finally lead me - eBay.

After searching through some okay options.

I think I might have found it.

Somebody had a complete PC listed for a buy it now of $650 but then I saw that no one

had bid on it yet and the current bid was just at $500 and the auction was ending in

just a few minutes.

I waiting until the last 30 seconds and I sent a bid in and I just sniped it.

It perfect too, it had a cool case - it even had a SSD - it had everything Allen needed.

I mean even if Allen doesn't want it, I kinda want it.

So Allen runs a channel called Soundspeeds and if you don't know this about Allen he

is actually a Hollywood professional sound guy.

He is one of those boom guys that holds the mic in front of the actors.

And he has just worked on some amazing stuff.

I actually didn't realize some of the amazing stuff until we started talking.

He has worked on amazing projects like Stranger Things - the second season, he's worked on

Avengers.

He's worked on even Walking Dead - one of my favorite shows.

So when I was talking to him I was just like - could we just be friends - would that be

cool?

Sound is something that is so important to YouTube and I know that there is much I could

learn from him and what was really cool though is in talking to him I realized not only do

we both live in Georgia, he lives 30 minutes down the road.

Yeah it's funny he lives right around the corner from me.

When we talked about doing the collaboration, it still didn't come up and when he gave me

his phone number it was a local area code.

And I said wait a minute are you local to me?

And he told me his city and I said you're the next town over are you kidding me?

So we got the computer in the car.

So let's check out what you're dealing with right now.

Oh man how much time do you have this thing is so slow.

Come on in check it out.

My main computer right there which is an i3 Alienware Alpha.

I got that back in day when I was just doing gaming.

The only game - I was doing 2 games.

Minecraft because my daughters were interested in it.

And World of Warcraft because I got into it like a few years.

I didn't really need a really powerful machine so why bother overkilling it.

Yeah.

So I would spend my money elsewhere.

And, then I started doing Soundspeeds and of course now editing is crazy on this thing.

You see how slow this thing is even to load up?

And you'll all I did was change the color temperature to slightly more blue.

Because these are kinda Yellowish lights.

I take the exposure down just a fractions.

I bring up the clarity just a little bit.

And I don't really adjust anything else.

I sharpen the edges just a little bit.

And I just add this minor amount of processing to it.

I hit back it's going to back into my editing program and then watch what happens now if

I hit play.

Yikes.

Uhhh yeah that PC had to go.

Allen showed me so maybe things he was dealing with and frustrating it is to work on that

computer.

I could feel the tension building.

The time had come to unveil the curtain on what I was cooking.

Allen was itching to see it.

I was excited but a little anxious if I'm being honest.

This calls for some overly intense music.

Oh dude, those are my colors.

Are they?

Okay that worked out!

Black is my favorite colors and red is like if I have to actually say color.

Red is like - those are my colors man this is it!

So this is a pretty hefty beast.

You gave me a budget of $700 so let's talk about some of the pieces how much this really should

have cost you.

Wow okay.

So this is the GTX980.

Even in today's dollars this graphics card would cost you 300 about $320.

The processor up top right there.

It an i7 4770k in fact this guy who I bought it from - he actually water cools the CPU

alot of people like -

it's kinda an enthusiast things to do.

So basically I took everything in here and priced it before I committed to buying it.

And after it was all said and done, it should have been somewhere in the ballpark of $950

- $1000.

But when I hit buy.

That's in today's prices?

Not like a couple of years ago.

This is today's prices.

So yeah if you bought this a few years ago, it would have been $1500 to $2000 easy.

I got this whole thing for $600 even so with shipping and handling and everything $600.

Wow, that's awesome.

So you're getting a really - that is really awesome.

So yeah we actually came in $100 under budget.

I never in a million years thought we would go $100 under budget.

I kinda feel bad for that guy on ebay, he did not get a good deal.

But I did do one thing to give you a little bit of piece of might.

Acutally when I bought this computer with the shipping it was $540 so for $60 I added

a warranty.

Oh wow, oh cool!

So you have one year.

Where did you buy it from to get a warranty on a used computer.

Ebay.

Oh Ebay does that?

I almost never get warranties, I kinda feel most cases it's a waste of money.

But in this case, I think it made sense.

It's a used PC number 1.

But a PC is a bunch of different parts made by different manufacturers and any one of

them could fail at any moment.

I just kinda felt Allen needed that piece of mind.

It even looks cool.

In all honesty I didn't know what to expect.

I was sitting here thinking you were going to open it up and it was going to be like

an HP Pavilion shell that somebody has souped up.

And I'll be like looking at it like that doesn't look impressive but okay.

You know, but this is like - this is actually this is me.

This is exactly like the kind of stuff I go for.

That's awesome!

This is way overkill, this should be able to edit 4k.

It will definitely edit 1080p.

This new computer has changed my workflow.

Let me tell you how.

In the past with my old computer I would have to start it up wait 15 minutes or so for it

to fully come up.

I could play back 1080p footage at maybe full res for 10 minutes or so - forget about overlapping

2 videos.

Doing a crossfade.

Any kind of transition.

Doing picture in picture effects.

Anything like that.

Now let me tell you about the new computer.

The new computer was able to basically play back any video footage format even 4k seamlessly.

I could put graphics up there and it might on 4k get a little stuttery - but then it

smooths out after a couple seconds - it figures it out.

Now for overlapping, 2 crossfades, seamless.

It's like watching it just play back on the screen.

Tell me that's a workflow change.

You might be thinking like what is here to learn.

Like you just got a sweet deal, man.

But here is what I learned.

If you are patient and persistent.

Eventually you're going to find that perfect deal that meets your requirements within your

budget.

You know I really enjoyed this collaboration with Titus because in the past I have collaborated

with other YouTubers like Podcastage.

Booth Junkie, Mr. Red Dragon.

But they have always been out of town so I've never had that personal face to face interaction.

Sure I have gotten a chance to know them and talk to them and send them messages and whatever

else.

But it has been always been either via Skype or Discord or Google Hangouts.

Or just sending footage reviewing it and getting it back to me.

But Titus is a local.

So I was able to meet with him.

Interact with him.

Chit chat with him - when it wasn't even related to this particular collaboration.

We talked.

Okay you might think it's a little weird helping somebody I barely know with this whole computer

thing.

But here's the thing Allen is seriously a really good guy.

I mention that some of the acoustics in my studio isn't the best and he was offering

me to give me like some panels I could use.

I was like man you don't have to do that.

Like just a super awesome guy.

Allen is definitely a pro and after I got done showing him the computer that day we

started talking about microphones and he just started pulling out the equipment he uses

on alot

stuff.

And he has some of the coolest mics I have ever seen.

Way out of my price range, but seriously awesome.

Hey, this is daily overpass, my name is Eric and I make apps! Now today let's

talk about apathy in software projects!

Have you ever worked on a software project so long, that you couldn't

imagine ever not working on it? Like, it just went on forever! So you have

a certain project that you were working on, and towards the end you had

like lots of little bugs that came up, or lots of little issues that came up and

you just started to get apathetic, like, what's the use? I'm never not going

to be working on this! So, I have been a software developer for nearly 20 years,

and I've been in so many projects like this in the past, where I was just

like, apathy starts to set in in project. Where you know you've done all

the big things, you just got all these little tiny things, little issues like

little bugs that you're trying to nail down. It's just something

in the network, something that appears randomly and you just haven't

found the cause of it yet, and things just start to slow down in a project.

And I think this is just natural in software projects.

It's just happened so many times in the past on larger

projects that I work with. I'm talking about larger projects being like three,

four, five months projects. I'm not talking about like two weeks or

something like that. Usually those ones are are pretty good, right. So hey, if you've

ever run a marathon, you know the concept of the wall. It's a different

place for different people, but if you run the 26 miles, you get to a

point where everything just stops, everything gets harder. All of a

sudden everything starts to slow down, you start to wonder

whether or not you're actually gonna finish that marathon, and I think

software projects are like that too. This, and I hate to say this, is where a

good project manager comes in. A good project manager, towards the end of the

project, and I've talked before how that last 10% of a project could

sometimes take 40 or 50 percent the time of the entire project, just

because things slow down motivation lower. You would think

that you would see the finish line and just be going towards it, but this is

when all those little things start to come in. So a good project manager is the

one who will keep the developers moving, at the same time as keeping the

product owners or the clients, whatever it is - the people who own the

software - to keep them from adding in new scope creep, because they start saying

"you know, now that I see this, it would be really cool to have this...". So a good

project manager is holding them back and keeping them moving, and I tell you what,

some of the most effective project managers that I've ever worked with in

the past, I could not stand. Because they were always on my case, like always

just you know "Eric, where are we with this?" Even if you're just making small talk,

you know, "hey, you have plans for the weekend?" all this stuff and you're making small

talk, and then they say "so, where are we with that issue?" Because it's all they ever

think about. They're just moving the ball forward.

They're like the drill sergeant or the coach. They're just

screaming in your ear saying "keep moving, keep moving, keep moving!", when

you're just like "It's not working! For some reason I get this error, I've been

on Stack Overflow for three days trying to find out what it is! Everything should

work this way, but it's not." I could remember one time

telling a project manager that a certain project we were working on was cursed,

There were no other explanations for it! I said,

"This project is cursed! I am NOT a superstitious person, I don't believe in

magic, but at some point in the past someone on this project has insulted a

witch or something, and she has put a curse on this project, because everything

that can go wrong, does go wrong on this." We have network failures, we've got database

failures, we got, you know, tiny little things just started failing

all over the place on this project. Because you can get a bit emotional

as a software developer when you're on a project and you just want to get it

done. Everybody wants to get the project done, but at some point apathy sets in,

sets in with developers, and you just start realising that, you know, you start

feeling like "You know what? We're never gonna finish this project!

We're never gonna get there." Now I'm in the situation where I start to

see that in developers. I started to see when, you know, we

start picking up more issues as a project goes on. This is when

you start getting, you know towards the end of a project, you start getting

nitpicky about stuff. Like, you start thinking " when I click on this,

it's a bit slow to render. When I do this, sometimes it does that. Sometimes it does

this. What's the logic behind that?" and it can get, you're really getting

nitpicky. You're doing the fine-tuning and it could do a lot to

the confidence of the developer because they just feel like, you know, I've done

all this and you're just coming up with these little things. But that stuff has

to be done. So I start to see the apathy in the developers, and I know

exactly what they're going through, right. And I have to say "hey, you know

what, we're nearly there. We're nearly there, we just have to

finish up these last few issues. So, have you guys had this

kind of issue where just you're working on a project

that's so long, and usually it's bigger projects. I mean, I haven't found this when

I work on my own projects. When I work on my own projects I'm like really...

I could get up in the middle of night and work on them, like, "nearly there! I just

gotta get this bit done today!" Where I will not get up to go to

the bathroom even, because I'm just so into it, right! Have you ever

coded so much that you give yourself a bladder infection?

Nearly, I'm nearly there! So you start coding away, and you don't

want to get up to go to the bathroom. You realise that it's dark in the house

because you didn't turn on any lights. You're just so into it. When you're working

on a big project at a job, you know, apathy sets in. So,

the best project managers I've ever worked with, they

see that when it happens, they see that when it comes up. Last year

I was gonna hire a project manager and I didn't, because I just didn't see that

in any of them. You know, maybe we need one. Anyway. So let me know,

have you ever been in a project like that where apathy starts

to set in? I'm wondering if it's just me who notices this, or is it all
