Youtube daily report w Apr 19 2018

From never-ending showers to being a super spy, the Planet Dolan Crew re-enacts some

of the best true stories from our subreddit about the dumbest excuses we've ever heard.

I'm Zaraganba, and today, I'll be your narrator.

Number 10 was Submitted by Karmen0619 Emojie Emojie was on Facebook one day, and saw a

woman wanting to divorce her husband.

Her husband had been cheating on her, which she knew because she caught him in the act

of sleeping with another woman on the bedroom floor.

The husband's excuse was that he wasn't sleeping with her, and that he did not know who she

was.

He got out of the shower, bumped into her, tripped, and fell on top of her.

The divorce was finalized in a matter of minutes.

Number 9 was Submitted by MarvinMartian1 Froggy When Froggy was 18, her boyfriend would stand

her up on almost everything.

The excuse was almost always a made-up illness.

It was so obvious it got a little pathetic after a while.

Nobody could be ill that often.

One day he was meant supposed to meet Froggy, and his excuse for canceling was "I fell

over and hurt my knee."

They broke up not long after that, and Froggy never looked back.

Number 8 was Submitted by PlayNice9001 Ursa One of Ursa's college friends was notorious

for flaking out on events at the last second.

She canceled parties and group hang-outs an hour before they were scheduled, even though

they were planned days or even weeks in advance.

Usually the reasons for canceling were things like excessive homework or just being tired.

But the worst excuse she gave was that she decided she'd rather play Overwatch.

She didn't even try to dress it up or anything.

She canceled a Halloween party they'd been planning for days at literally at the last

second.

She ruined everybody's Halloween plans all just so she could play Overwatch.

Ursa and her friends don't hang out with her very much anymore.

Number 7 was Submitted by PartyCreeper1098 JamesShark

The dumbest excuse JamesShark have ever heard is when he was about to go to a friend's house

for a sleepover.

They said JamesShark couldn't come over yet because they were taking a shower and that

he could come later.

JamesShark waited a few hours later and called again.

They said they were STILL IN THE SHOWER.

At the point, he knew he was being blown off, and just stopped calling because his friend

obviously didn't want him to come over.

The next day, the friend's mother told JamesShark that his friends was actually really busy

and didn't want to tell him he couldn't come.

So instead he came up with an infinite shower excuse.

Number 6 was Submitted by Applegirl_7 Snewpee The dumbest excuse Snewpee ever heard was

when she was 13.

Her brother stole 5 dollars from her and lied about it.

His alibi was that he couldn't have stolen the money because he was painting a picture.

He even gave Snewpee the picture to prove it.

Aside from the obvious ones, there were a couple of huge problems with this excuse.

The first was that Snewpee's brother was allergic to an ingredient in paint.

The second problem?

The picture he had submitted as proof he was painting was just a computer-printed copy

of the Mona Lisa.

Number 5 was Submitted by Nuclear_Nerd666 Dolan

The dumbest excuse Dolan ever heard was in his first year of college.

He was walking to his room, when he ran into a guy who had borrowed one of his books, but

never returned it.

Dolan caught up to him, and asked for his book back.

He said that he had go to have sex with his pet turtle.

Later, Dolan found out from his friend, who was the guy's roommate, that the book thief

had eaten the book.

Like...

EATEN it.

He tore out all 805 pages and ate them.

Moral of the story: don't let people borrow your stuff.

Number 4 was Submitted by MysticTulip Andiemations The dumbest excuse Andie ever heard was from

a co-worker at her job.

Andie was enjoying a hard-earned two-week vacation.

But after only a few days, she was called back into work because one of the employees

called in sick.

Now, being sick isn't really a bad excuse.

But what she actually said was, "I'm feeling sick, I won't be back till Tuesday."

That call came in on Thursday.

For some reason, this woman was too sick to come into work, but somehow knew the EXACT

DAY she'd be able to come back.

And that day was five days later, after the weekend.

Sure, there was a chance she was really sick.

But it seemed awfully suspicious.

It turned out Andie was right.

Her co-worker had taken a trip to a nearby city for an entire 4-day weekend, just so

she could go shopping.

Number 3 was Submitted by DopieXD Hellbent When Hellbent was in middle school, he had

a girlfriend for more than a year and a half, and he thought everything was going great.

But after all that time, his girlfriend suddenly said she wanted to break up.

When Hellbent asked her why, she said that she was an international super spy, and her

organization had told her to choose between her boyfriend or her job.

It's probably worth noting that Kim Possible was a really popular show around this time.

The very next week she was dating some jock.

So much for her spy work.

Number 2 was Submitted by Cookiemonster106 Robo

When Robo was in 6th Grade, her class went on an outdoor field trip.

When they were playing the last game of the day, one girl said, "I did the splits in the

lake!"

It obviously looked like she peed her pants, and everybody knew it.

But first of all, why would she do splits in the lake?

That made no sense.

And more importantly... there was no lake anywhere for miles around.

After that field trip, the same girl peed her pants at least 8 more times before the

end of the school year, and didn't go on any more field trips.

It probably wasn't "splits in the lake" those other 8 times, either.

There Are 3 Ways To Break Into Hollywood And I Didn't Use Any Of Them by Dr. Ken Atchity - Duration: 10:10.

Film Courage: What key steps did you take to go from being a tenured professor? Most people

would do many things that probably aren't good to be in those shoes to a

movie producer . I'm sure first of all you had to deal with social pressure

people probably trying to talk you out of it maybe not? What steps did you take?

Dr. Ken Atchity, author/film producer: Well in retrospect you can always make it look more you know planned and

logical then that it was at the time but I basically I ran into a very inspiring

man whose name was Norman Cousins who was the editor of Saturday Review world

in those days and he came to speak in a class of mine at Occidental College and

it turned out we shared a motto that no one else in the world had ever heard of

and that motto was a was a single sentence by the philosopher Nash

philosopher or take a guess a that said I think the only immoral thing is for a

being not to use every instant of its existence with the utmost intensity and

I had never heard anyone else quote that but after after his taught in my class I

asked him to come to my office and showed him that it was framed above my

desk and so needless to say we bonded and long story short I asked him you

know what I should do when I grow up which I asked male authority figures all

my life basically and he he told me after we got to know each other that I

should consider the entertainment business because it was much broader

than the academic world and people can basically do whatever you know it

anything creative you're encouraged to do basically you could find your own way

there are no rules and schedules and all of those kinds of things that we find in

academia and I love academic you know the world and the ideas that are

exchanged and all of that but it was restricting and it was you know for me

suffocating which is a word that is means a lot to me personally it's my

most ancient nightmares being suffocated and I've never been suffocated and you

know in the entertainment world I've been terrified a lot but not suffocated

and so he encouraged me and I thought well I don't know anything about the

entertainment world other than movies that I've seen that's it and he showed

me a passage from a book by William Goldman that I hope everyone know is

called adventures in the screen trade and the passage was that the only

important rule in Hollywood is that nobody knows anything and I thought well

that's that's good means it's a level playing field so I set out to learn as

much as I could and I realized that I wasn't 18 years old in the mailroom at

William Morris and I wasn't you know infinitely wealthy and I didn't have

relatives in the film business those are like the three main ways to get into the

business normally so I thought I just have to be smarter so I started writing

reading contracts I remember a producer he'll never forget I asked him if I

could read a distribution contract and he said yeah I can let you read it but I

can't let you take it out of my office you can go up the other room and have a

cappuccino and but you know do that so I read it and I came back an hour later

and I said I'm confused about some things I read here can I ask you a

couple questions and he said sure and he I said this paragraph number 48 in the

fine print section at the end says that accounting terms used in this agreement

shall be redefined by the twentieth century-fox accounting department at

such time if any that litigation is entered into among the parties I said

what does that mean and he said that it's not in there I go yes it is let me

show you how I showed it to him and he said I can't believe that that's still

in there mate my attorney should have crossed that out he had just signed the

agreement and I said well they didn't so I started learning that's how I started

learning by contracts was I think whatever kind of

thing you're trying to do if it's successful ends up with being a bunch of

contracts so you might as well start backwards with the contracts and long

story short while I was preparing myself that way over a six-month period I I

came up with an idea that I sold basically on a wing and a prayer not

knowing how to do it but it ended up being within the next 12 months 16

movies that I was completely in charge of and raised half the money from Warner

Brothers and half the money from from a company in Canada went up to Montreal

and shot them all back-to-back meaning one movie ended on

Friday and the next one began on Monday and it was a series of romantic comedies

and it came out of my teaching romantic literature and also teaching publishing

because a publisher was talking and went up in my publishing class a visiting

publisher was talking to my class and he was telling me he was telling us what

goes on the cover of a romance novel and I realized as he listed the things that

were on the cover that he was basically reciting the rules of courtly love that

I was teaching in another class that were written in the 12th century by

andreas capital honesty the Chaplin of Marie de France and and I thought so

maybe romance novels that everyone makes fun of are just an extension of these

ancient courtly stories these love stories and I came up with the idea of

doing a series of movies that imitated these love stories and were marketing

friendly because they all had colors so you could have put all the DVDs on the

you know on the shelf and they would form a rainbow

so they were all called things like The Rose cafe sunset court indigo autumn etc

and we did sixteen of them and by that time I was I was fully

in the in the business because I was in charge of production as a creative

production and within three movies my assistant I were you know we knew we

were doing whereas we did not have any idea what we were doing before the first

movie started shooting and then I came back to Los Angeles and became a

literary manager because I didn't have resources to option properties but as a

literary manager you can produce properties by managing the property and

that's what got me going and ever since then so it was that was how the

transition occurred and it was just because I thought of an idea and I

didn't know better if I known now what you know what if I'd known then what I

know now I would never have sold it the way I sold it I simply went out with the

concept and convinced several Studios to look at it seriously and none of them

had looked at a script or anything like that and one of them Warner Brothers

wanted to see a script and I wouldn't show it to them until they'd signed an

agreement and they ended up signing an agreement in three days and then I

showed them they manufactured the scripts over the weekend by putting out

a call to the romance novel community and getting back you know ideas for the

script and so on so it was a fluke and one of the hardest things about being in

the business when you're been in it for a while is the there grows up this huge

accumulation of experience that you have that makes you know that you shouldn't

just pick up the phone and call the head of a studio and and I have to overcome

that I just reached out to the head of a studio this morning but every time I do

it it's like having a 500-pound weight in your hand to pick up the phone

because you know that's wrong but somebody like me back then I didn't know

was wrong so I you know it was light as the light motion to pick up the phone

and call call somebody and so whenever I get a new partner who's not involved I

always say don't be afraid to tell me your craziest ideas because

this is a world in which crazy ideas work and you know it's it's the

traditional ideas that have a harder time working so it is a completely wild

and entrepreneurial frontier it's probably the last frontier of American

culture though the movie business and it's been changing ever since I've been

in it it constantly changes from a world in which videocassettes dominated and

you could find them everywhere and to a world in which we're down streaming from

Netflix and Hulu and so on and the delivery methods have always changed and

what doesn't change and this is the encouraging thing for writers is that

the need for stories has only gotten greater and greater with the

proliferation of hundreds of channels they all have one thing in common they

need programming they need content and writers are the ones who create the

content the intellectual property so they should be hugely encouraged you

don't have to understand all the distribution methods you just need to

know how to tell a story and and you're in good shape just keep telling stories

you

BREAKING: Trump Just Ended Major Operation In Lib NYC With 225 Arrests – Dems Didn't See It Coming! - Duration: 6:12.

BREAKING: Trump Just Ended Major Operation In Lib NYC With 225 Arrests – Dems Didn't

See It Coming!

The number of illegal immigrants in this country is growing by the day, and it's on the forefront

of every political debate in Washington today.

Illegals immigrants have put an undue strain on the United States economy, by taking advantage

of government programs not meant to support them, and that's just the economic problems.

While it's not the politically correct accepted opinion, the facts of the case support the

understanding that illegals are committing crimes in disturbing numbers.

Not only the crime of entering this country illegally but continuing to commit crimes,

often violent ones.

That isn't a bad reflection on whatever culture they come from.

In fact, every culture has lawbreakers, however, if a country has the choice to pick who they

want to be their new residents, they wouldn't choose the lawbreakers to join them.

But since America isn't choosing who comes in, we are left with whoever has the brains

or money to get themselves across the border.

That's where ICE comes in.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement is here to ensure that those who enter this country

legally, don't overstay their welcome, and those who enter illegally, get a one-way ticket

back wherever they came from.

ICE has come under plenty of criticism, however, according to Queens News and Community, they

are doing their jobs very well.

They apprehended over 200 illegals, many of whom were violent criminals:

"U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement completed a six-day operation that led to

the arrest of 225 people, including several Queens residents.

The agency conducted Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) from April 9 through April

14 in New York City, Long Island and the Hudson Valley.According to ICE, more than 180 of

those arrested were convicted criminals or had criminal charges pending.

More than 80 had been issued a final order of removal and failed to leave the United

States, or had been previously removed from the United States and returned illegally.

In East Elmhurst, agents arrested a 56-year-old Haitian man who was convicted of second-degree

manslaughter, tampering with physical evidence and fourth-degree criminal possession of a

weapon.

He served an undisclosed amount of time in prison and ICE officers arrested him after

his sentence had already been served.

A 57-year-old Jamaican man was arrested in Jamaica who was convicted of first-degree

sexual abuse.

He was on a conditional discharge when ICE arrested him.

The agency "focuses its enforcement resources on individuals who pose a threat to national

security, public safety and border security" but no longer exempts "classes or categories"

of immigrants from enforcement, it said.

On April 10, ICE agents arrested a man after his scheduled court appearance at Queens County

Criminal Court in Kew Gardens, according to AMNY.

The agency arrested two other men in Bronx County Hall and Kings County Criminal Court

that week.

Attorneys with the Legal Aid Society staged a walkout outside of Queens County Criminal

Court to protest ICE's presence in New York courthouses.

District Attorneys for the Bronx, Manhattan and Brooklyn have called on the agency to

stop these arrests, arguing that their presence discourages witnesses from coming forward.

'They can't go there without fear of getting arrested,' said Manhattan District Attorney

Cy Vance at a press conference in February.

'That means critical witnesses and victims in cases don't proceed with important prosecutions,

and New Yorkers are less safe because of it.'

Thomas R. Decker, field office director for ERO New York, said New York 'provides refuge'

to immigrants who have committed crimes.

'ICE continues to face significant obstacles with policies created by local officials which

hinder cooperation between ICE and local law enforcement.

Yet, with the tireless efforts of the men and women of ICE, this operation was a great

success,' Decker said.

'The fact is that a so-called 'sanctuary city' does not only provide refuge to those

who are here against immigration law, but also provides protections for criminal aliens

who prey on the people in their own communities by committing crimes at all levels.

ICE is committed to enforcing the immigration laws set forth by Congress with integrity,

despite the push-back and rhetoric within the city they serve.'

According to the nonprofit, Immigrant Defense Project (IDF), between January 2017 and March

2018, ICE has arrested 23 Queens residents in or around Queens' courts.

IDF data shows that in 2016, the agency arrested 11 people in courts throughout New York.

In 2018, 97 arrests were made in New York City courthouses and 47 arrests were made

in courthouses in upstate New York and Long Island.

'The recent ICE raids are a clear illustration on the ongoing, and escalating, attack on

our communities by the Trump administration,' said Yatziri Tovar, spokesperson for Make

the Road New York.

'Make no mistake: this is about tearing apart families who have lived here for many

years, with no regard for their deep ties to our communities and enormous contributions

to New York City and state.'"

The issue of who the United States should accept, and who we should decline is a very

emotionally charged issue for many.

However, the fact that we have laws, and those laws are in place to keep order, isn't up

for debate.

If those laws need to be changed, just like any law, we the people have the ability to

vote that into existence.

For now, though, ICE has their work cut out for them, enforcing American law.

Why the Food You Eat is So Important for Spiritual Connection - Duration: 12:53.

Why the Food You Eat is So Important for Spiritual Connection

By John Foreman

How to Feed Your Soul Its no secret that modern life can be stressful.

There are so many things competing for our attention in this technological age that more

and more of us are living in a constant state of stimulation.

Were on edge and forever wired. For many of us, meditation is a beautiful way

to find stillness and quiet the mind, but many people find this quite challenging.

They cant get past the racing thoughts and fidgeting body.

What a lot of people dont realise is that the food you eat plays a huge role in your

ability to reach that deep meditative state.

That your nervous system and brain simply will not allow you to transcend your body

when certain nutrients are not present, or when youre in what I call a state of nutritional

stress.

You are what you eat is the old clich that you are no doubt familiar with, but have

you ever realised just how profound this notion is and applied it in your life?

As a culture, we tend to generally accept that some foods are good and some are bad

for us but beyond this level of understanding, there is no deeper meaning behind the way

we eat.

We eat habitually and not intentionally.

We eat without conscious thought as to what this food is doing within our body beyond

the momentary taste sensation in the mouth.

And all because we have become so disconnected from the natural world and where our food

comes from.

We have somehow come to a point in the human experience where we no longer intuitively

know what is correct for us to eat.

Let that sink in for a moment.

Why is it that we are the only species on Earth to have this problem?

There is not a single animal living in its natural environment that is overweight or

suffering a chronic illness as a result of their diet.

They just know what to eat.

They are in touch with the innate intelligence that drives their food choices, and as a result,

they thrive.

If this alone doesnt show how spiritually disconnected we have become, I dont know

what will.

To keep the body in good health is a duty, for otherwise we shall not be able to light

the lamp of wisdom, and keep our mind strong and clear.

Buddha Unconsciously eatingWe eat without thinking

about what our food is doing for our bodies and our connection.

Connecting with Food, Connecting with Source So how does this all link to our practice

of meditation?

The answer is simple.

We are not eating real food anymore.

The problem we now face is an overabundance of chemically laden products masquerading

as foods, and a system that makes it difficult to acquire quality plant food, which is what

we require most.

We are eating food like products that our biology does not recognize, which results

in a state of physiological stress that keeps us trapped in the primal aspects of our physical

body and unable to transcend into that infinite stillness of meditation.

If we fail to give our beloved nervous system the critical nutrients it needs to function

optimally and remain calm, we can become stuck in the primal, reactive way of living, unable

to transcend into higher levels of awareness.

To truly grasp the role of nutrition in our ability to enter deep meditation, we must

first understand what is happening in the brain and nervous system; it is, after all,

our interface with the world around us.

Our brains are brilliant, sophisticated and complex organs, but for the purposes of consciousness/spirituality,

I am going to focus on three parts of the brain that determine how we live, how we interact

with the world and how far up the ladder of awareness we manage to climb.

The Neocortex The neocortex is the part of the brain where

enlightenment becomes possible.

Where we want to journey to during meditation.

It is the area that facilitates creativity, learning, imagining our future and experiencing

our interconnectedness.

This part of the brain is hardwired to experience unconditional love, see the beauty in the

world and allow us to discover who we truly are and our place in the universe.

It houses the pineal gland which secretes DMT, the spirit molecule that essentially

allows us to feel connected to all living things.

The neocortex can, however, be a difficult place to reach in our modern fast-paced lives

that are fuelled by toxic convenience foods.

When we dont take the time to give the neocortex the nutrients it needs, we find

ourselves operating from the more primal parts of the brain: the reptilian brain and the

limbic brain.

Nourishing your neocortexNourishing the Neocortex helps us deepen our interconnectedness.

The Reptilian Brain The reptilian brain (also referred to as the

hind brain), is the most primal component of our brain.

It is 100% instinctual and interested in one thing and one thing onlysurvival.

It regulates our most crucial autonomic functions, such as breathing, body temperature, heart

rate and the fight/flight response.

The reptilian brain is often referred to as a cold-blooded serpent, completely void of

emotion and looking out only for itself.

Under too much control of this part of the brain, we can find ourselves living mindlessly,

being self-absorbed, avoiding change and clinging to the past experiences that we associate

with safety and survival.

The Limbic Brain The limbic brain is where instinct and emotion

converge.

Also a primitive part of the brain, it analyses environmental signals and assigns the experience

to one of our four fundamental programs: The 4 Fs: Fear, Feeding, Fighting and Fornicating.

The limbic brain becomes more active when we rely on processed grains and sugar.

It is this area of the brain where habitual living and obsessions with sex, food and mind-dulling

things, like alcohol and television, occurs.

It is also where patterns of emotional withdrawal and aggressive behaviour stem from.

So now we have an understanding of our basic operating systems, but how do we get to that

elusive neocortex and experience deep meditative states?

The answer doesnt lie in a trendy fad diet or supplement, it lies in the wisdom of our

distant ancestors, the Earth keepers of our deep past.

The only place we can really trust to lookto those whove thrived on our planet for thousands

of years, in harmony with nature, and with a connection to Source and a reverence for

life beyond anything we see in our modern day.

Dont eat anything your great-great-grandmother wouldnt recognize as food.

There are a great many food-like items in the supermarket your ancestors wouldnt

recognize as food Stay away from these.

Michael Pollan Discerning what is REAL foodWould your great-great-grandmother

recognize this?

Our ancestors considered food to be a sacred offering to the temple, the perfectly designed

house that is the human body.

They appreciated food, as it was a gift offered up by Mother Nature to be assimilated and

used to build the temple out of the most pure and sacred substance on Earth, the earth itself.

If we fail to adopt eating practices with this kind of reverence and continue to eat

toxic foods mindlessly, we will struggle to bridge the gap between the limbic brain and

the neocortex and will remain living in lower states of awareness.

The Neocortex needs natural fats to operate at its best, especially DHA, a form of omega

3 fat found primarily in seafood.

If these fats are not present in the diet, the neocortex will just struggle along and

maybe produce the occasional brief revelation but never any profound lasting insight.

However, it is not only omega 3 that is important, the saturated fat that we have been so afraid

of for the past five decades is a crucial nutrient for our nervous systems also.

Every nerve in our body is insulated with a substance called myelin, which is constructed

from the fats in our diet.

The neocortex does NOT operate well under stress, in fact, it will be essentially inaccessible

and hand over control to the limbic brain.

This may seem like a good survival mechanism but the problem is that the limbic brain developed

during a time when the only stressors we had were the occasional saber tooth tiger chasing

us, or a long-lasting famine.

It is not designed to cope with the bombardment of things competing for our attention in the

modern world, and it cannot tell the difference between the saber tooth tiger and the 100

grams of sugar you just ate with a bowl of icecream.

Best Food for Optimal Health and Well Being In summary, the Neocortex can restrain the

four Fs of the limbic brain and allow us to have meditative and transcendental experiences,

if we give it the nutrients it is crying out for and avoid the nutritional stressors that

shut it down.

Go for wholefoodsTry for a balanced diet of fresh, unprocessed wholefoods and plenty of

filtered water.

The following dietary principles are the most surefire way to nourish your nervous system

and Neocortex:

Abundant omega 3 fats especially DHA and EPA, which come exclusively from animal foods

such as fish, oysters, grass-fed beef, free-range eggs.

Sufficient saturated fat from coconuts, raw cacao, eggs, ghee, grass fed butter and

grass-fed animals.

 Clean, pure, filtered, fresh water.

70-80% of our physical body is water.

Magnesium rich foods such as green leafy vegetables, nuts, seeds, raw cacao etc.

Magnesium is absolutely essential for the nervous system.

 Minimal stimulants such as caffeine.

Intermittent fasting and remaining in a state of lightness. Digestion comes

at a huge energetic/metabolic cost.

Eating a nutrient dense but calorie sparse diet allows this energy to be dispersed elsewhere

in the body, such as the brain and nervous system.

At least 80% of the diet consisting of nutrient dense, mineral rich plant foods with

emphasis on dark green leafy vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, sprouts, seaweeds and fermented

foods.

Eating foods in their whole and natural state.

Daily consumption of fermented/probiotic-rich foods such as sauerkraut, kim chi, miso, kombucha,

kefir etc. as well as mushrooms, which are super nourishing for the nervous system.

 Limiting pasteurized dairy products.

Avoidance of synthetic/man-made foods such as additives, preservatives, artificial

(ridiculously neuro toxic) sweeteners, margarines etc.

Avoidance of refined sugar and refined carbohydrates (white breads and pastas etc.)

that are nothing more than pharmaceutical foods/empty calories.

Avoiding the overconsumption of factory farmed animals and processed meats.

These animals are slaughtered in fear and kept sick their entire lives by being fed

foods that are unnatural to them and being injected with hormones and antibiotics (which

end up in your body).

Always aim for grass-fed, organic animal products.

There is a long-lasting myth that in order to be enlightened you must be vegetarian.

I used to also have this belief, until I was challenged to tell a Native American or Aboriginal

elder that they are less spiritual for eating animals.

They have a connection to spirit beyond anything we can even fathom.

I hope you have found this information somewhat enlightening.

To help you grasp just how important the food we eat is to our spiritual practice I will

leave you with the truest definition of the word nutrition, one that you have unlikely

heard before.

Nutrition comes from the Latin word nux, which means light. So nutrition is literally

nothing more than the processing of light. Quite an important thing to consider if enLIGHTenment

is something you wish to experience.

S. Korea opts to end war as stipulated in previous agreements: Unification Ministry - Duration: 2:33.

The announcement of plans to end the Korean war with a peace treaty could have caught

many by surprise.

But the nation's unification ministry says the topic's already been discussed in previous

inter-Korean summits as well.

Through the latest historic meeting, Seoul hopes to work towards reaching some practical

results... and make a smooth transition to the Washington-Pyongyang summit.

Oh Jung-hee has the full story Are South and North Korea seeking to formally

end the Korean War and settle on a peace treaty to replace the armistice agreement?

That's what U.S. President Donald Trump's comment at Mar-a-Lago ahead of his talks with

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Tuesday seemed to suggest.

"People don't realize that the Korean War has not ended.

It is going on right now.

And they are discussing an end to the war, subject to a deal.

And they do have my blessing to discuss that."

Seoul's presidential office echoed Trump's remark on Wednesday... and said it's seeking

to reach to a peace treaty with the North at next Friday's summit talks.

The announcement came as a surprise... as the agenda to be discussed with the North

Korean leader after over ten years of frozen relations... has remained vague.

South Korea's unification ministry says... previous agreements between Seoul and Pyongyang

have already stipulated the issue of ending the Korean war... and through this opportunity,

the South Korean government opts to realize that.

"South and North Korea have agreed on the issue of ending the Korean War in their joint

declaration made on October 4th, 2007.

The declaration stipulates that the two Koreas end the current armistice status and see eye-to-eye

in building a permanent peace,... and the three or four parties directly involved meet

on the Korean peninsula to cooperate on declaring the end of the war."

Through this historic summit, the South Korean government hopes to reach to some practical

results.

The unification ministry says... it will minimize ceremonial events for the upcoming summit

and focus on enabling a frank and comprehensive discussion between the two leaders.

High-level or working-level talks could be held afterwards for further arrangements.

Close coordination and communication with the U.S. will be continued... for the inter-Korean

summit to smoothly lead to the Washington-Pyongyang summit and achieve positive results.

Oh Jung-hee, Arirang News.

Rereading Books? Discussion | Part 1 - Duration: 6:41.

hey guys it's Caz here aka Catsandcamera and today I'm gonna be talking

about rereading books. Now personally for me I've never really been much for a

re-reader. I don't know why it's not like I've had an aversion to it like 'get away

from me I've already read you I need to read new ones' But it's just never really

been a thing that I've actively sought out. I knew there were - there's a big part

of the booktube community or just readers in general that have like Harry

Potter for instance while they'll read it every single year and it's this thing

and it's a memory for them. I think that's really cool. But even with some of

my favorite childhood books I've never read them more than once, and I will be

talking about that in the next video that I'm gonna post. So this year I did a

couple of videos at the beginning of the year about books I wanted to get to. I'll

leave them linked if you want to check that out. And within that I had some

books that I'd previously read that I wanted to reread, either because I really

enjoyed them or because there was another book coming out and I wanted to

refresh my memory. And now we're in April and I have already reread quite a few

books and I really really enjoyed doing it. I understand now why people like to

reread their favorites because seriously this series. This series! I was on the

third book, I was halfway through the third book and I was like 'I want to

reread this again already and I haven't even finished yet'. I enjoyed it so much

on the second read because I already knew all the character arcs and what was

gonna happen. But also it was like a new experience as well because reading stuff

from the first book that kind of relate to the next ones, and then already

knowing what's gonna happen, it's so much fun and I don't know why I've never done

it before! As you can probably tell one of these

series that I've already reread this year is the All For The Game series by

Nora Sakavic. This was, or is, is-was it is on my list to read - the books I want

to read this year. But I had no plan on reading them this month. I actually saw

someone on Instagram read this series for the first time and talked about how

amazing they thought it was and I was like 'I really want to reread that right

now!' and then about 10 minutes later I went to my bookshelf and pulled off the

first book and started it, and I blasted through this and it was so good.

Honestly I want to read this again and like tab it up and go crazy with the

tabs and have like a million different tabs for every single little detail. I

want to tab up every time Waymack says something like 'if you don't get here in

five minutes I'm gonna sign you up to a marathon'. I wanted to tab every single

time of that. I want to tab every single time that Andrew and Neil interact.

I want to tab every single time Neil says 'I'm fine' because that is so iconic

and he says it so many times. He's not fine. He's very much not fine, but he

will, he will tell you he's fine. You should really read this series if you

haven't already because I absolutely loved it and honestly I don't even know,

I might even reread it again this year and do that whole tabbing thing because

it was so good and I had so much fun rereading it. So another book that I've

reread this year was Openly Straight By Bill Konigsberg. I did this right

there beginning of January because I wanted to get onto the second book which

is Honestly Ben. So I reread this and I reread the novella Openly Honestly.

And again I really enjoyed it, and I was glad that I reread this because the

second book picks off straight away from where this one ended so would have been

kind of like 'what is going on?' slightly confused. I was reminded of how weird

this book is been made because the pages are so weird and crunchy. Look how crinkly

they are, you can't even open it properly I don't know why, can you hear this? It's weird. But I

enjoyed it again. It's making me want to reread other books and see how I feel

about them on the second run. Which again will be discussed in the next video that

I post. And a last but not least I've reread the first three volumes of Deadly

Class because I had volume four and I've now read five as well and again this was

so good. I actually bumped up my rating from four to five stars on these on the

second read. I really enjoyed it, I enjoyed the tone, I enjoyed the artwork a

lot more. It's not really my sort of artwork for

comics. So like it's very color blocky.

Very much just different tones of the same color, which isn't usually my style

but I really enjoyed it again on the second read. It just fits so well with

this story. And with these, because I even read these volumes quite far apart, even

just with the rereads there was stuff that I picked up on in the first volume,

in the second volume that I saw later on down the road,

that I wouldn't have even remembered, or, well didn't even pick up on on the first

time that I read them. So that's what's so good about rereading books. Also if

you're gonna reread something, you know you're gonna enjoy it because you've

already read it, you're like 'I really enjoyed that book let's read it again'. If

you read something new, it might be terrible. You won't know until you've

read it. So yeah that is my experience this year with rereading books. I've

definitely changed my opinion, not that I really had a strong opinion against

rereading but it was never never something that I thought about. But now I'm just

like 'I want to reread all the books', even though I have so many that I haven't

read yet, I want to reread all the books. So yeah like I've mentioned a couple of

time in this video, the next video that I'm gonna put out is gonna be books that

I do want to reread, like the ones that I'm most excited about going back to. So

hopefully you'll come back and check that out.

Tell me down below what you think about rereading whether it's something that

you do a lot of, whether - hey maybe you're one of them people that do this Harry

Potter every single year and it's a whole thing, and it's like part of your

life now. Tell me down below. Or maybe you've never reread anything and you

think it's pointless because you've got too many books on your TBR let me know.

I'm one of them people, I've got too many books on my TBR, but I'm still gonna

Best Gentle Natural Facial Cleanser for Your Skin - Duration: 2:42.

Hello, my name is Audrone Wippich, founder of NaturalVibrancy.

What is the best gentle natural facial cleanser for your skin?

Well, I have it here with me.

This natural face wash will help you wash away and remove everything that clogs your pores -

oil, dirt and debris.

But what is even more important, besides cleansing, is that it will hydrate and condition your

skin.

Why is it important?

Well, there are many cleansers out in the market that will strip away your skin of its

essential properties and dry it out.

That's not good.

Especially, If you want your skin to last and not begin wrinkling prematurely.

Your face wash should be gentle enough, so it keeps your skin hydrated while it does

a good job at getting rid of extra facial oil and dirt.

Another great benefit of this cleanser is that it will not make your skin breakout.

In fact, it will help you control your breakouts if you use it daily.

If your skin is oily, use it twice a day and if it's not, maybe once a day is fine, before

you go to bed.

This face wash is made for men and women and it works on a variety of skin types from normal

to very sensitive and dry skin.

In fact, if you have sensitive skin you should definitely try this cleanser.

This face wash is available on NaturalVibrancy.com or on Amazon.

Both links are included below.

Thank you and if you have any questions, let us know.

Hillary In Hiding After What Comey Let Slip During Heated Appearance On The View - Duration: 4:08.

Hillary In Hiding After What Comey Let Slip During Heated Appearance On The View.

Former FBI Director James Comey appeared on "The View" on Wednesday, to strum up more

liberal sympathy as he tries to play the martyr.

What he ended up letting slip during the heated appearance, however, sent Hillary Clinton

into hiding.

Former Secretary of State and twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is

undoubtedly ready, for all of the controversy surrounding the investigation into her use

of a private email server to go away.

This was an egregious crime, though, especially for one of the most powerful officials in

the U.S. government it's not going to just go away.

Hillary may have been cleared by the FBI after putting national security at risk through

her use of a private server, but questions still remain with regards to whether or not

justice was served, and why she would do something so incredibly stupid.

Why put sensitive government secrets at risk if you're not trying to hide something?

Crooked Hillary was unable to escape the discussion surrounding her private server, and the investigation

into her crime on Wednesday, when former FBI director James Comey appeared on "The View,"

in part to hock his new book.

Hillary infamously blamed Comey for her humiliating election loss after President Donald Trump

took the White House, despite the fact that nearly every single media outlet predicted

he would not.

Hillary Clinton cast blame for her surprise election loss on the announcement by the FBI

director, James B. Comey, days before the election that he had revived the inquiry into

her use of a private email server.

In her most extensive remarks since she conceded the race to Donald J. Trump, Mrs. Clinton

told donors on a 30 minute conference call that Mr. Comey's decision, to send a letter

to Congress about the inquiry 11 days before Election Day had thrust the controversy back

into the news, and had prevented her from ending the campaign with an optimistic closing

argument.

"There are lots of reasons why an election like this is not successful," Mrs. Clinton

said, according to a donor who relayed the remarks.

But, she added, "our analysis is that Comey's letter raising doubts that were groundless,

baseless, proven to be, stopped our momentum."

[Source: The New York Times]

Hillary Clinton surely was not happy to see her nemesis James Comey being fawned over,

by the women of "The View" on Wednesday.

According to The Daily Caller, Comey ended his appearance on "The View" by saying

he "can't answer" if "Hillary Clinton got justice" in 2016.

"After everything," host Whoopi Goldberg began as she posed a question to Comey near

the end of the broadcast, asking, "do you think Hillary Clinton got justice?"

"In the sense of from the FBI and the Justice Department?"

Comey responded.

"I think she did.

Whether in a broader sense if she was treated fairly?

I can't answer.

That's a serious question."

Just a few minutes later, Comey stated that if he "could say one thing to Hillary Clinton,

it would be" to read the two chapters in his book that revolve around her.

"I know you feel I have shivved you," he said.

"But I think you may feel differently if you read those two chapters."

He also requested that President Donald Trump read the book.

Of course, Whoopi asking if Hillary ultimately got justice is quite the loaded question and

anyone, who thought James Comey might have answered it objectively is smoking something.

If justice were truly served, Hillary wouldn't have just lost the presidential election in

2016, she would have been thrown behind bars for her many crimes.

After all, government employees guilty of far less have been made to serve time.

James Comey is a slimeball trying to save what is left of his reputation and earning

potential via a salacious new book, even though his credibility is shot.

I've got news for him, President Donald Trump isn't going to be reading any of it

he's too busy draining the swamp, of which Comey was a part for decades.

2017 Tesla Model 3 | Track Test Update | Edmunds - Duration: 3:20.

DAN EDMUNDS: So we're back here at the track,

and there's something different about our Tesla Model 3 sedan.

What we've done is installed the 19 inch wheels and tires.

When we bought it, it had the standard 18 inch Michelin's.

These are the 19 inch Continentals.

These tires have a treadwear rating of 400,

and the 18's have a longer wearing

tread that's rated at 500.

The main thing that I didn't like about the 18 inch

tires, everything seemed great, but the stopping distance

at 133 feet was a little bit long.

And then when I was lapping the car,

there's just this feeling that there just

wasn't quite enough for grip, and it

was just a little bit less sharp than I would have like.

We're going to see if we can measure a difference,

so let's start off with 0 to 60.

[LAUGHING]

DAN EDMUNDS: There was a difference.

5.1 seconds instead of 5.3.

So a little bit, a couple of a tenths faster.

Didn't feel any difference, but the watch tells the tale.

Now let's see about breaking.

If we got that kind of improvement on acceleration,

we might see shorter stopping distance.

60 miles an hour and--

oh 128 feet.

That's five feet shorter.

So yeah, these 19's do something besides look good.

Over at the skid pad, we actually improved lateral grip

from 0.85 G's up 2.93.

That's 80ths of a G difference just by slapping on these 19

inch tires instead of the 18's.

And it's all working together on this handling circuit.

It just got a lot more directional stability.

I can really feel the nose pointing in so much

better when I turn the wheel.

There's just more grip, and you can feel it.

This is what I was hoping for last time.

This car has got tons of drive out of the corners,

and it feels nice and flat.

There's not a lot of body roll, but now there's

enough grip to really use it all, and really

have some fun with it.

Oh man, this car really feels a lot

more entertaining with these wheels and tires on it.

Wow, what a difference.

I'm frankly surprised.

I mean, I shouldn't be because any racer will tell you

that tires make a big difference in any automobile,

but I didn't expect what we saw here.

The acceleration time was better.

Stopping distance was shorter.

It pulled more G's on the skid pad,

and it was just more fun to drive around the circuit.

And over the weekend when I drove these tires to break them

in, it was a little more comfortable too because these

run of the slightly lower pressure than the 18's.

I mean it's a $1,500 option to get these wheels and tires,

and most people would do that just because they look better,

but it turns out they perform a lot better too.

I mean, it's a win-win.
