So today we're going to be reviewing another beauty product and I've actually been wanting

to try and review this product for quite some time.

I'm not sure what took me so long to do it but before we go ahead and get into the actual

So today I'm reviewing the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel.

Now this is supposed to be a simple two step process to give you an at home gel manicure.

So according to their website this is supposed to be a long lasting chip resistant nail polish

that is supposed to give you that salon quality gel manicure without the use of a UV lamp.

So normally when you go to a salon it can be a pretty expensive and tedious process

to get a gel manicure.

You're probably looking at anywhere between twenty and thirty dollars for a gel manicure.

And while you're there once you get the nails painted you have to out your hands under a

UV lamp for that gel to kind of set.

I'm not sure what the exact scientific process is but if you've been to a salon and you've

had a gel manicure you know what I'm talking about.

So the benefits of a gel manicure is it's not a lot of upkeep or a big time commitment

as well because it's actually going to increase the longevity of your manicure because the

polish is supposed to be chip resistant.

As well it's going to give you that nice high shine finish to give your nails that really

beautiful appearance.

So there is a lot of controversy with getting a gel manicure at the salon because of the

UV exposure that is emitted from the curing lamps.

So these lamps actually emit UVA rays which doesn't burn your skin like typical UVB rays

do but they still do penetrate the skin and it can cause damage which leads to aging and

also can lead to skin cancer as well.

The UV exposure that you would receive during a gel manicure is very brief but it can also

be intense as well.

And especially getting the gel manicures all the time you're repeatedly exposing yourself

to these UV rays.

So the other negative aspect about getting a gel manicure at a salon is when they remove

the actual gel nail polish they have to use a strong acetone and this can be very damaging

and dry out your nails.

Now according to the Sally Hansen website this nail polish requires no UV lamp.

As well it can be removed with any regular nail polish.

Okay so let's get onto the actual review of the nail polish.

I've been trying it out and testing it out for just over the last week now.

So before you start the application process you need to make sure your nails are dry and

clean.

Next you're going to apply two coats of your selected colour choice.

Now white nail polish has just kind of become my signature thing.

I don't know why.

I just love a nice crisp white nail.

I just think it looks so posh and sophisticated.

Especially in the summer it looks really great with a tan.

So I chose the shade Get Mod.

So on the website it doesn't actually specify how long you should wait between each coat.

But what I did was I waited about five minutes between each coat because it is a fast drying

nail polish.

So first thing I did notice when applying this polish is the actual applicator itself.

The brush on this is pretty wide so it can get messy so make sure you take your time.

It probably isn't the best brush if you have really tiny nails.

So I also noticed the consistency of this nail polish was definitely a lot different

compared to regular nail polish.

This is a lot thicker and kind of goopier.

So once you have applied your second layer of your colour you're going to wait five minutes

and then you're going to go in and apply your miracle gel top coat.

So no word of a lie guys.

This nail polish literally dries within about five to ten minutes.

So this gel manicure really does cut down the processing time dramatically because with

normal typical nail polish I find it takes anywhere from like three to six hours even

sometimes up to a full day to fully let that nail polish settle.

Because even though it might be dry to the touch after a few hours I still find it's

really soft and anything that you kind of bump into can dent it a little bit or even

when you sleep at night you get imprints of the sheets on your nails.

I don't know if that happens to anybody else but.

So as you can see it did really leave a nice gorgeous high shine finish like a typical

gel manicure would.

So I am really loving how this turned out and I think it looks absolutely gorgeous so

I am really impressed with this product right now.

But what I will do is I will keep checking back in with you guys throughout the course

of the week and we will see how it's holding up.

So as you can see by day two the manicure is still looking absolutely flawless.

There's no chipping.

Nothing going on at all.

Usually with regular nail polish I usually find around day three my nails start chipping

already.

Now by day four however I did start noticing that the nails were cracking.

I'm not sure if you can pick it up on the camera but there's these tiny little cracks

throughout the nail polish.

I mean it's not really anything noticeable.

You have to be really looking up close and personal to see the cracks.

If it's from far away you don't see it at all.

So it's not a really big deal to me.

As long as there's no chipping it still looks nice and clean to me.

So by the end of the week there is a lot of cracking going on.

Now I think my cracking looks a little bit worse on my nails befause the nails are white

and I fiddle around with a lot of makeup so my makeup was getting stuck in the cracks.

So it's really accentuating those cracks I think with the white nail polish.

But as you can see by day seven there is still no chipping.

So let's talk about the actual removal process of this product.

Now according to the website it says that it can be removed with regular nail polish.

Well it can but it took forever.

It literally probably took me about half an hour to get the nail polish off of my nails.

With regular nail polish I can have my nails clean within about five minutes.

And with this one I actually went through a lot of nail polish and I still did actually

have to soak my nails in a little bowl of the nail polish just to get the process working

to loosen up the nail polish a bit but I guess you have to weight the pros and cons at this

point because you did save a lot of time in the application process but it did take some

time.

Not a lot of time but some time to actually remove the product itself.

To me I think this product is still more beneficial in terms of saving time because ain't nobody

got hours to wait for their nail polish to dry and so what if it took half an hour to

remove.

Yes it was a pain in the butt but it still saved me a ton of time in the end.

So in terms of the actual outcome of the product itself I actually am really satisfied with

it.

The cracking of the nail polish wasn't a deal breaker for me because to me it didn't take

away from the appearance of the nail because you only really noticed it if you were looking

really closely at the nails.

And there was no chipping after seven days so it did live up to the claim on the website.

Now it probably would have lasted another seven days but I just chose to remove it so

I could test out the removal process out for you guys.

So I am super impressed with the longevity of this process.

As well the high shine of this.

Like look how gorgeous these look.

I just think they look absolutely beautiful.

So is this Sally Hansen Miracle Gel a product I would recommend?

Most definitely.

So I actually can't wait to pick up a few more shades in this.

I just love it so much.

Now this actually is a lot more affordable than a typical gel manicure.

Now when I went to Walmart the bottles are about nine ninety nine each but they usually

do have a promo where they were two for eighteen so it's definitely a lot more affordable than

going to your salon for a gel manicure.

So that's another plus in my opinion.

TENSIONS between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are rumoured to be the cause of a growing

rift between Princes Harry and William, according to reports.

The Sun revealed yesterday that Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have

decided they don't want to live in Kensington next to William and Kate.

The newlyweds will instead move to the Windsor estate and set up residence at Frogmore Cottage,

which is having a multi-million pound refit paid for by the taxpayer.

And now a friend close to the couple has claimed that the decision to move may be because a

rift is developing between the two couples because "Kate and Meghan are very different

people".

Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, the source added: "They don't really get on."

Kensington Palace confirmed that Harry and Meghan were moving out, but a spokeswoman

explained that this was to facilitate preparations for having a baby.

They added that Windsor is a special place for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who also

formed a part of the decision to make the move.

But a royal source told The Sun: "The initial plan was for Harry and Meghan to move out

of their cottage in the grounds of Kensington Palace and into one of the main apartments.

"But there has been a bit of tension between the brothers."

The cosy cottage the pair currently live in was previously home to the Duke and Duchess

of Cambridge before the couple moved into a 20-room apartment inside the palace.

Frogmore Cottage needs major building work to turn it back into a luxury family home,

boasting 10 bedrooms, a new nursery plus space for a gym and a yoga studio.

The cottage is being chopped up into five units where palace staff have been living.

Kensington Palace released a statement saying: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will move

to Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate early next year as they prepare for the arrival

of their first child."

Grade II-listed Frogmore House, formerly known as Double Garden Cottage, has been a popular

royal hideaway for more than 300 years.

Meghan Markle and Harry to move away from Kate and Wills -unlikely EVER to be best friends.

THEY are the Royal Family's Fab Four but the Dukes and Duchesses of Cambridge and Sussex

plan to lead increasingly separate lives after Harry and Meghan's decision to move to Windsor.

Sources say the two couples, who seemed so close when Harry and Meghan got engaged a

year ago, are ready to take separate paths, although they will both retain offices at

Kensington Palace.

The Sussexes' move to Frogmore Cottage, which is due to be completed at an undisclosed

cost to the taxpayer before Meghan gives birth to their first child in the spring, comes

amid claims of a growing coldness between Kate and her sister-in-law.

Kensington Palace officials have remained tight-lipped about that and a spate of stories

about Meghan proving difficult and demanding but others have said the two sisters-in-law

spend little time together off duty.

There has been no major fallout, according to those who know the couples, but just a

realisation that the two women are unlikely ever to be best friends.

A year ago, in their engagement interview, Harry and Meghan gushed about how welcoming

William and Kate had been.

Back then, Harry said: "And then William was longing to meet her and so was Catherine,

so you know being our neighbours we managed to get that in a couple of - well quite a

few times now and Catherine has been absolutely …" "Wonderful," Meghan interjected.

"Amazing, as has William as well," Harry said.

Friends have acknowledged that at 37 and 34, Meghan and Harry want to spread their wings.

"It's not unusual to want to put a bit of distance between yourselves," a source

said.

Palace officials have insisted Harry and Meghan's main reason for moving to the cottage on the

33-acre Frogmore estate in Windsor Castle's Home Park was their need for more space for

when their baby arrives.

They have lived together at two-bedroom Nottingham Cottage in the palace grounds since their

engagement in November last year and found there were no options available for them at

Kensington Palace, a royal compound once dubbed "the Aunt Heap" by Edward VII, or elsewhere

on the royal estate in London.

There had been talk of them moving into 20-bedroom Apartment 1, next door to William and Kate

at Kensington Palace.

The apartment's longtime occupants, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, plan to move

out next year and into the smaller Old Stables now their children have grown up.

But the timing proved unhelpful for Harry and Meghan.

"Apartment 1 needs a major refurbishment and wouldn't be ready in time," a source

said.

The palace has refused to say for now how much the taxpayer will have to fork out to

make Frogmore Cottage fit for the Sussexes.

"That will appear in the Sovereign Grant report next summer in the usual way," a

spokeswoman said.

But when William and Kate announced they planned to move into their apartment, officials did

provide an estimate of £4 million for the cost, a figure that grew to £4.5 million

before they moved in in 2014.

Like them, Harry and Meghan will pay for the interior decorating and soft furnishings but

the taxpayer will cover the cost of the renovation.

Palace officials, who were quick to point out that William and Kate would remain in

their apartment until he becomes King, have made no similar commitment for Harry and Meghan's

cottage, saying only that it will be their official residence for the "foreseeable

future".

Previously, a senior royal source has said Clarence House has been earmarked as a potential

future home for Harry when his father becomes King.

Royal sources have denied reports that Frogmore Cottage, which stands close to the much larger

Frogmore House where Harry and Meghan has their evening wedding reception, has 10 bedrooms.

"It's a fraction of that," said one source.

But the couple's office refused to say how many bedrooms it will have once the refurbishment

is finished.

Royal sources have also firmly denied that Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, plans to

move to Britain and install herself at Frogmore Cottage.

She will be a regular visitor but it is thought she plans to retain her home in Los Angeles.

Tekashi 6ix9ine's fans are getting to experience his debut studio album ahead of its official release date.

Dummy Boy was originally set for release on November 23, but was delayed due to the rapper's current legal troubles.

Dummy Boy was reportedly pushed back to an unspecified date, but that didn't stop the album from leaking late on Saturday evening.

The 13-track album, which features collaborations with the likes of Kanye West, Lil Baby, Gunna, Nicki Minaj and Bobby Shmurda, appeared for sale on 6ix9ine's website on Saturday.

It is unclear how the album appeared, but the link was taken down shortly after.

6ix9ine's debut mixtape Day69 is currently the only project available for purchase on the site.

The 'Dummy Boy' Album Was Briefly for Sale on Tekashi 6ix9ine's Website.

While it is still unknown who leaked the album, Newsweek reports that one of Dummy Boy's producers may have uploaded it on his own accord.

Murda Beatz, who worked with 6ix9ine on the hit single "FEFE," alongside Nicki Minaj, recently teased the album's artwork on Instagram with the caption, "I HAVE THE ALBUM SHOULD I…" Fans have pointed to this post, which features the presumed album artwork, as proof that Murda Beatz, is responsible.

It has since been removed from Murda Beatz's account.

The link that existed on 6ix9ine's website now directs to a "404" page.

While the original link is no longer available, Dummy Boy is now available to download and stream on various different bootleg sites.

6ix9ine released the proper Dummy Boy tracklist on Instagram on November 19, but announced that the album would be delayed a mere three days later.

"Due to circumstances beyond our control," read the post, "We have postponed the release of Tekashi 6ix9ine's Dummy Boy until further notice." The rapper has yet to comment on the leak.

Fans Believe That 'Dummy Boy' Was Leaked by Producer Murda Beatz.

The album was preceded by the singles "TATI" featuring DJ Spinking, "Bebe" featuring Anuel AA, "Stoopid" featuring Bobby Shmurda, and "FEFE" featuring Nicki Minaj and the aforementioned Murda Beatz.

The latter peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100, making it 6ix9ine's biggest hit to date.

6ix9ine is currently facing a minimum 32 year sentence for racketeering and other serious charges.

According to TMZ, the rapper and his crew conspired to commit a slew of crimes, including drug deals, armed robberies and shootings.

TMZ adds that 6ix9ine will likely spend most of this time behind bars, as he has already been denied a $750K bail.

how can myself being a citizen of New Zealand, born and bred here

not be able to vote?

When I know that my vote would've counted.

When you can't vote, it has quite a significant effect.

Sometimes, that you're not aware of as an individual,

on your feelings of being unable to control your future.

I think it's time that we did think about voting isn't just choosing somebody to represent you

it's actually being part of a society and being able to participate and give something to it and be heard.

So I'm a solo mother of four, I currently have three in my care.

I'm actually a recovering meth addict.

Well we do matter. We are the people of this land, like come on man.

I know I felt pretty rat shit. I know I did a crime, but yeah. I wanted to be part of change.

It makes me feel really angry as someone who's part of this society

that we have denied people a basic human right.

Having the right to vote gives you hope,

it makes you feel that you are part of that society, that you have a future

and that's so important when you're talking about people who have really

many times been victims of violence themselves

and who we really wanna support so that they have a better chance at a good life.

There is a debate from a moral point of view,

you can make the case these are bad people they shouldn't vote.

From a more pragmatic perspective

what you're doing is removing a right of citizenship from these people,

making them feel even more apart from society

and potentially making it somewhat more difficult to rehabilitate them when they leave prison.

I made a mistake, I acted in a way that was wrong

but that's not who I am, that was a thing I did. That's not who I am as a person.

I was there wanting to get things back on track and do the right thing

and one of the first obstacles I come up against in trying to do that is that I'm prevented from being able to vote.

I'm being prevented from having a say and so I am being rendered voiceless.

While I was incarcerated my only child died.

He drowned in a swimming accident when he was 13 years old.

So I got a one day release to go to my child's tangi

and I left the prison at seven in the morning. By seven pm I was back inside.

Despite the fact I was a minimum security prisoner who was entitled to a three day leave where my family could have come and pick me up

and I could have three days to say goodbye to my son before being returned to the prison.

They'd made an error so I had one day.

Every day that I'm not offending, every day that I'm on track with my goals, is a day that I honour my sons memory.

I have a view out my window now.

I never take it for granted because

I'll never forget what it was like to be in a concrete cell with no view where you couldn't even see a blade of grass.

I think voting's very important because it's the act of participation

which is most accessible and convenient for the largest number of people to be able to do.

The argument for removing the right to vote for prisoners

was essentially couched in terms of more punishment for having committed a crime.

That is really frustrating and I think to some degree that's what drives me because I do think that

if people were better informed about how harmful our system is.

If it was your brother or your sister or your mum who had hurt someone,

who had a really rough start to life and had ended up in the system,

what would you wanna happen to them?

And it wouldn't be to punish them further.

It would be about diverting them out of that system.

Giving them a chance at a better life. Helping them to see where things had gone wrong.

I get the idea that for public safety you have incarceration or confinement in order to protect the public.

But I don't understand how preventing incarcerated persons from voting is a form of public protection.

I don't think it matches and I don't think preventing people from voting

necessarily matches their crime. If say you got unpaid fines

and breach parole and end up in prison, and now you can't vote in the same way that someone with much serious crimes.

At present I'm fighting in a case to allow women the right to vote if they are in prison, which at present they can't do.

Whether it be one week or life, they cannot vote.

This type of legislation, you can see a trend, a pattern.

Centre right governments generally disenfranchise all prisoners.

Whereas centre left will allow prisoners to vote who are serving short-term sentences.

It has become a bit of political football which is not right because we are actually talking about a fundamental right

which is guaranteed under the Bill of Rights.

I think any government that tries to reduce voting rights in a way that is undemocratic is a bad thing.

It's quite disheartening for all of us.

I know that for myself as well as others

it would have been a really awesome opportunity to be able to have a voice and be a part of that change.

It's been a long road to democracy.

But the great ideals of equal suffrage, inclusiveness, openness, tolerance,

have recalled it to its obligations as the longest running democracy in the world.

In spite, I guess of all that I've been through in the criminal justice system,

all that I've lost personally, ya know I haven't given up hope

and I'm out here doing the things that I dreamed of. Doing a double degree, now I'm doing psychology and criminology.

I ended up getting a job working for Restorative Practices Aotearoa

and I love the idea of being able to work in this environment because it's definitely about the value of second chances.

I've only voted twice in my life

and the reason why I do vote is because I wanna be part of change.

And if it means that I've gotta start so little by ticking boxes,

getting my ass to a ballot, ticking boxes, so be it,

cause then at least I can say that I helped make that change or I can say well at least I tried.

In spite of, you know, the narratives we tell ourselves,

the stigma from other people and these negative attitudes, you know, towards us

that we can still triumph you know. That we can still overcome.

A first-time hang-glider clinging on for dear life after his pilot FORGOT to attach him to the craft

A man who went hang gliding for the first time had to cling onto a metal bar for more than two minutes when his pilot forgot to hook him onto the glider, heart-stopping footage has shown.

The terrifying clip from Chris Gursky's first day on holiday in Switzerland has been shared by the YouTuber - after the fun activity turned into a 'near death experience.

The auto-parts manager and photographer had to 'hang on for his life' during the ride he videoed, and later named 'Swiss Mishap'.

After taking off from a 4,000 ft mountain edge Mr Gursky had to hang on for two minutes and 14 seconds, as the pilot desperately trying to steer with one hand to get him safely to the ground.

Youtuber Chris Gursky (Gursk3) (left) holds onto the pilot as they prepare to take off but he isn't attached. Chris slipped soon after the pair took off in Switzerland and had to cling on to a metal bar.

Homes, trees and hard ground were all that were in sight for Mr Gursky to land on if he fell.

Seconds after Chris, who is wearing a checked shirt and white helmet, and the pilot took off they realise that he is not attached.

Chris tightly grips a metal bar with his left hand in the video and holds onto the instructors back with his right as they glide over trees and fields.

The pilot tries his best to bring them down but is having trouble controlling the glider. As they fly over more trees the craft goes higher and the pilot desperately grabs onto his passenger with his left hand.

They glide through the air but the first-time glider has to cling onto a metal bar for the flight. Mr Gursky's wife Gail was away gliding over the scenic Swiss Alps while her husband was holding tight to a pilot.

Soon after take-off Chris was dangling on for dear life as the pilot attempted to hold him up.

The men rise higher before the pilot gets the glider under control and starts to head down to the ground. Chris had to cling on for two minutes and 14 seconds during the terrifying ride.

As they begin their decent Chris clings to the pilot's leg but starts to lose his grip on the metal bar. Eventually he was close enough to the ground to let go in what appears to be footage filmed in Interlaken, Switzerland.

Chris tore his left bicep tendon and had to have surgery on his right wrist after it suffered a distal radius fracture from the impact of dropping to the floor.

After an intense two minute flight the pair approach the ground and Chris lets go of the craft - as the pilot continues over the field and lands properly.

Mr Gursky said: 'My body weight shifted straight down and I found myself hanging on for my life.

'I remember looking down and thinking, this is it. I was losing grip with my right hand, that was holding onto a strap on the pilot's right shoulder.

He was trying to make a bee line to the landing field as he knew what the situation could bring. 'My left hand was on the cross bar that was ultimately the landing gear, with a wheel on each side.

As we were going down for a hot landing I was slowly losing my grip with my right hand as I was swinging in the wind with the glider.

'The pilot grabbed my hand, but like in the movies it was a slow motion slipping of the grip until my right hand slipped off and I grabbed another strap on his left side for a bit but this slipped off also.

'I ended up holding on bar with the left hand and the lower part of his leg with the right when we were nearing the ground.

I looked down to see my feet hit first, which ripped me off at about 45 mph as it was a hot landing and I was under the landing gear.

'I would guesstimate the total flight time was about 5 minutes. When I sat up I knew something was wrong and saw that my wrist was broken.

14 seconds I had to hang on for my life! The landing was a rough one, but I lived to tell the story. 'Upon impact my right wrist suffered a distal radius fracture, which required surgery.

'A titanium plate and seven screws were installed and I was released the following afternoon. I also tore my left bicep tendon from holding on for so long. It beats the alternative.'.

Viewers said they were 'on the edge' as they watched the entire two minute clip wondering whether Chris would fall. Chris entertained fans with his video commentary as he was praised for taking his 'near-death' experience so well.

He finally drops from the glider but fractured his wrist in the fall and tore his bicep tendon from holding on so tightly.

Chris took off and discovered the instructor had failed to attach him to the glider. He sustained a fractured wrist upon landing and a torn bicep. Chris fractured his wrist and a tore his bicep tendon from hanging on the whole time.

Despite his terrifying ordeal, Chris praised the pilot and even said he'd try hang gliding again.

He said: 'While the pilot made a critical error in our pre-flight set up by not attaching me to the glider, he did all he could to get me down to the ground as quickly as possible while grabbing onto my harness and flying with one hand.

'I will go hang gliding again as I did not enjoy my first flight. YouTube viewers were stunned by the footage and called Chris 'superman'.

Dustin Blanchard said: 'Holy s*** man I was on the edge of my seat the whole video. 'I've always wondered what would happen if you didn't clip in.

Nelson's Wings added: 'You have amazing, superhuman grip strength! You had great focus and will to live.

Not sure if it would have helped, but there are two tricks climbers use to desperately cling to things. One is to hook an elbow over the bar, and use the other hand to lock the elbow.

The other is to get a leg up on a hold, that takes about half the weight off your arms.'. However, some were furious with the pilot and said he should be banned from flying.

Zoran Allen said: 'Pilot should have crash landed IMMEDIATELY, end of story. Literally any other person would've slipped, fallen, and died. 'Passenger performed a 2 minute long dead hang with equipment and against heavy winds. It's a miracle to say the least.'.

Peter Donker said: 'Just for your info. I know you're happy the pilot saved your life. But the error is inexcusable. It's like the guy offering bungee jumps but forgets to check the cord.

Flying is not that hard. He had but one task: to check you were hooked in.

'The #1 killer of hang glider pilots is forgetting this. IMO he should have a really hard look at himself in the mirror and ask himself if he should be doing this.'.

Mr Gursky said he was out of hospital the same afternoon with no cast. He also said he is not mad at the pilot. 'I am past that phase,' he said to Cross Country Magazine.

'He did all he could and more. He is a good guy.'.
