THE TRUTH DOES NOT EXIST. The GÖDEL Theorem | 𝘊𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘴 𝘥𝘦 𝘭𝘢 𝘊𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢 - Duration: 7:14.

Hi curious and curious, I'm JJ Priego, welcome to Science Science, that little place,

where we see that the known finite and infinite is unknown.

Today I will explain the famous Godel's theorem, a theorem created by surely

the brightest logic of the twentieth century and perhaps in history.

And surely the person who has sown confusion.

Even his friend Albert Einstein.

And their findings establish authentic and insurmountable limitations on the power of

mathematics and the human mind.

Want to know more?

Well, let's look around.

INTRO.

What Godel's theorem says?

Does it demonstrate that the truth is unattainable?

Since the time of Euclid, in 2200 years ago, mathematicians have

tried from certain statements called 'axioms' and deduce after them all

class of useful conclusions.

In some ways it's almost like a game, with two rules.

First, the axioms must be the least possible.

Second, the axioms must be consistent.

It must be impossible to deduce two conclusions that contradict each other.

Any high school geometry book begins with a set of axioms.

Let us take an example ... by two points only can draw a straight line; the total

is the sum of the parts is ... and so on and so on ...

Well, for a long time it was assumed that Euclid's axioms were the only

which could be consistent geometry and therefore were "true".

But in the nineteenth century it was shown that by modifying certain way the axioms of Euclid

They could build different geometries, ie "non-Euclidean".

And every one of these geometries differed from the others, but all were consistent.

Thereafter he had no sense to ask which of them was "true".

Instead, it had to ask what was useful.

Curious not?

In fact, many sets of axioms from which could be built

a mathematical system consistent: all different and all of them consistent.

Well, none of these mathematical systems should be possible to deduce from

of its axioms, that something is both well and not, because then mathematics

would not be consistent in this case would have to discard them.

But what happens if we set a statement and we find that we can not prove that

is or so or not?

Suppose I say: "The statement I'm doing is wrong."

How?

What is false?

For if it is false ... then it is false that is saying something false and I have to be

saying something true.

But if I'm saying something true, then it is true that I am saying something false and

It would be true I'm saying something false.

Hehehe not go mess?

It could be going from one place to another indefinitely since it is impossible to prove that what I

said or so or not.

Well then suppose adjust the axioms of logic to eliminate

possibility of making such statements.

Can we find another way to make statements such as "not well or not?"

Let us make history as I like ... and for this we will talk about Kurt Godel, one of

the largest and most unknown mathematicians of the twentieth century.

In addition to Gödel it is recognized as one of the greatest logicians of all

time.

And its influence on science and philosophy has been enormous.

His interest in linking logic and set theory led to understanding

the foundations of mathematics.

A man with only 25 published two -the incompletitud- theorems that have

They left for posterity ... And her doctoral thesis was based on: "Are

sufficient axioms of a formal system to derive each of the propositions

true in all models of the system? "

This result, achieved at 23 years old, is known as theorem Completeness

Godel.

A concise and accurate doctoral thesis: all in only 11 pages.

And if that were not enough, two years later he published his incompleteness theorems in "On

formally undecidable propositions of Principia Mathematica and related systems. "

So in 1931 Gödel presented a valid demonstration that, for any set of

axioms, it is always possible to make statements that, from these axioms can not be proved

or that they are well or that are not.

In that sense, it is impossible to never develop a set of axioms from which

you can deduce a complete mathematical system.

But ... Does this mean we can never find the "truth"?

No way!

First, a mathematical system which is not complete does not mean that it contains

is "false".

The system can still be very useful, provided they do not try to use more

beyond its limits.

Second: Godel's theorem applies only to deductive systems of the type used

in mathematics.

But the deduction is not the only way to discover the "truth".

No axioms that allow us to deduce the dimensions of the solar system.

The latter were obtained through observations and measures ... which is another fairy way "truth".

So you can see the power of his arguments, I went crazy at nothing less than Albert

Einstein ... certainly a great friend.

And is that his proof of the existence of paradoxical solutions of equations

field theory of relativity, made Einstein himself came to

doubt his theory.

Brutal...

By the way, the foundation that bears his name: the Kurt Gödel Society (1987) is dedicated to

promoting research in Logic, Philosophy and History of Mathematics.

Interesting ¿truth?

How you have fallen curious and inquisitive?

Good video here today.

I hope you enjoyed working with Alex Riveiro.

And you already know, to follow quickly on Twitter and YouTube.

Is a crack.

For my part I would've been great and if you like you.

We will continue with the collaboration.

also the bell to keep abreast of developments.

Finally I recommend you follow my other 2 channels, Stories of History and Easypromos

And IÕm hearing you say

You love me then put me through hell

And you don't understand it

Why you take me for granted

Now IÕm lying awake

Cause I don't know how we could get through this

Cause only someone evil could do this

When you're wrestling with your mind

And you're asking one more time

Gonna wish you could let go

When you're wrestling with your mind

And you're asking one more time

Gonna wish you would've known

Now IÕm lying awake

in your bed I want nothing else

And IÕm hearing you say

You love me then put me through hell

And you don't understand it

Why you take me for granted

Now IÕm lying awake

Cause I don't know how we could get through this

Cause only someone evil could do this

How to Connect to the Vibration of Your Higher-Self (The TRUTH on Your Higher-Self) - Duration: 18:25.

this video I'm going to be sharing with you the truth on your Higher Self and

how you can connect to the vibration of it this could be a video that I think

could totally transform your life and allow you to feel more connected than

ever before welcome back to another video my name is Erin and I help people

expand their consciousness now in this video I'm gonna be sharing with you that

of the vibration of your higher self understanding how you can understand

your higher self at a deeper way so that you start to experience more

synchronicity in your life and you start to align to it more so now before I

actually explained completely who your higher self is and show you how to

connect to that I will also be showing you the truth about your higher self

just in general things about your higher self that maybe you didn't know things

that you do at night that you may not even remember you may wake up in the

morning and go this is who I am this is I am Erin or whatever your name is right

this is who I am but in actuality every single night when you go to bed you wake

up to higher dimensional aspects of who you are now in order to understand this

let's understand first off our purpose here on earth because one of our purpose

is here right now is to wake up to more of who we are you could say that there

are different vibrational states of consciousness if I show the handy dandy

chart that I show in a lot of my videos you'll see that the bottom emotions that

don't feel so good shame fear guilt anger then eventually

willingness you get neutrality big step then you see willingness then you see

that of reasoning which is the intellect understanding our beliefs create our

reality then you get into the love of frequency then you see peace joy and

enlightenment the truth is who we are is more at the higher levels of

consciousness who we are not is what we train ourselves in through reference

experiences when we were young such as experience is that mirror back and make

us think that we are that guilt shame fear anger all of those things but the

key is understanding and waking up to more of who we are waking up to our

divinity of who we are as higher vibrational states of being higher

vibrational levels of consciousness now the key to this is understanding that

that is one of the purposes of life itself simply knowing that makes it

easier because we can see oh I may think thoughts but I am NOT my thoughts so

when we think these thoughts that of fear and anger we can see that those

aren't really Who I am I'm just thinking those thoughts and then those thoughts

keep a self perpetual loop until we become aware of them once we become

aware of them we integrate upgrade ourselves up to a higher level in the

game now one of the purposes in this life is to wake up to who we really are

to wake up more and pass that of just that of the lower vibrational emotions

understanding that we are so much more than that and one of the things that's

happening right now on the planet is that we are going through a global shift

in consciousness that if you're here right now you knew about this before you

even came here you knew that there would be a quickening of vibration a

quickening of awareness of being able to really come into fruition of who you

really are now maybe this doesn't resonate with the ego but maybe it

resonates with a deeper part of you ask yourself does this resonate is there's

part of you that maybe doesn't understand what I'm saying but maybe you

feel like yes I do feel like there's a purpose for being here right now now you

may look around you maybe like Aaron didn't look like global shifting

consciousness is happening however it is happening at a subtle level as people

raise their vibration they have a greater influence over the other people

that haven't quote-unquote raised their vibration yet in general as there is

this collective tipping point that happens more and more people are

becoming aware of it and it will end up having this trickle effect now

understand that the old systems have to fall away before the new systems can be

put into place so you may look around bagwell government looks like it's

falling apart this looks like it's falling apart the old financial system

lerna swamp it's all part of the process these have to fall away so that we can

then bring in the new that is what's happening right now now the reason I say

all this is because I wanted you to first off feel a connection to why you

are here in the first place because you may have gone through a lot of pain I

went through a lot of pain growing up and you may say well why did I go

through all that well the reason is is because there was something that it made

made you a stronger person it made you who you are today it may have had the

pressure in the pain that led you to a spiritual awakening which if you're

watching my videos and your interest in what I'm talking about then most likely

it has led you to you making that something more powerful within yourself

at least having the desire to find out what that could be so understanding this

is very powerful if you want more information on this you can look up

Dolores canons book doris cannon was a hypnotherapist for very long time she

passed away recently about five years ago and what she was able to do is to

get people to the deepest levels of brainwave activity and deepest levels

hypnosis their higher self would come through and their subconscious self and

they could ask any question she'd ask why did you incarnate at this time what

was the relationship with your father and your mother and all these things so

someone would go to them for go to her for this you know to find out more about

their soul and who they are and then this information would come through now

she has done this to thousands of people through her seven twenty you know

seventeen books or whatever twenty-seven books or whatever there are and there's

been a very consistent thing through many many many people people saying I

chose to be here right now now is the shift on the planet that's happening

there's this transformation that's going on this is about waking up to more of

who we are there's this connection this connection that we're all becoming more

aware of and that's what it's all about on earth right now that we are

experiencing over the next 10 15 20 years however long it takes we're going

through this shift and consciousness right now the reason I share all that

with you is that you can understand maybe come over at peace with your

higher-self you may say well I didn't really want to be on earth right now so

I'm mad at my Higher Self at a deeper level the higher self is you it is

simply the ego self that might not be in agreement with the choices that were

made but if you're here right now understand this is the best time to be

alive on earth ever because of what is happening because there is this shift in

consciousness that is happening so first off I wanted to help you become more at

peace with why you are here on earth and as you become at peace with it it makes

it so much easier for you to connect to who you really are

now when we look at this whole process let's understand your higher self the

multi-dimensional aspect who you are understand that even in life

in general that the more you connect to this higher self the more you are

embodying the core vibration of who you are understand your higher self is

always guiding you imagine it like this this is kind of a video I've been

wanting to do for a while it's kind of explained this perspective with you

imagine every single night you go to bed wouldn't you you do that anyways I mean

you have to really imagine it but just every night you go to bed at a certain

point whatever it whatever time you do and when you do what happens is you

reconnect to this multi-dimensional aspect of you that you may not remember

in the morning because this is the thing the multi-dimensional aspect of you

lives beyond the five senses we can only interpret our reality through the five

senses so when we wake up in the morning you may not remember exactly what

happened you might get these little dreams about things that happen oh I was

in this dream of when I was in sixth grade and this thing happened and maybe

there's some subconscious meaning to it but the key is or the truth is is you

wouldn't even be able to understand what you're doing in higher dimensional

states of consciousness so the brain doesn't even have a reference experience

for what the hell is going on so what happens is it's about just knowing first

off that the subconscious dreams that you have with your you know from your

subconscious mind now if it might not be exactly what's happening could be

something far beyond that that subconscious mind is just a way for you

to connect to your higher self now what happens is when you go to bed at night

you reassess what you are trying to determine is different scenarios you're

in a way lining up different appointments that could come into your

life the next day weeks and months that will lead you to where you need to go

because we are constantly shifting from parallel reality to parallel reality the

choices we make shift us to different timelines and what happens is when we

connect and we see that our higher self is trying to help guide us to the ideal

reality where we can learn what we need to learn or we can experience what we

want to experience but the key is being connected to this higher self we're

always connected being aware of this connection and following the guidance of

it you ever seen where maybe you have certain patterns in your life I keep

repeating themselves well it could be your higher self giving you these this

awareness that hey work this out work this out never have

to experience it again that's what they call the completion technique completing

the emotions that you felt in the past letting them go so you don't to keep

repeating it what you don't complete you repeat so that's what I had to do I had

to learn how to complete the process of the abuse that I went through when I was

younger between 7 and 15 years old with my ex stepmom who was physically and

mentally abusive and what I did is I became aware of this and I let go of the

patterns of this story of why did this happen to me and all these vibrational

attachments I had and I let it go and I saw that it led me to a spiritual

awakening years later so I started to give it a powerful meaning a positive

meaning and then I stopped attracting people that were similar to my ex

stepmom because I kept tracking people that were similar personality traits

even though I never had to deal with her again after 15 years old my dad divorced

her but I still found that I had a manager that was very similar when my

first girlfriends at the time was also very similar had that kind of had that

kind of energy so once I completed it and let it go but in a way my Higher

Self has given me the awareness of that I was getting signs of it but until I

tapped into that awareness I was completely on autopilot I was not aware

of it so what you can do is become aware of this connection with your Higher Self

and understand your higher self is a part of you now what is happening is in

this life of transformation that we're having right now we are merging more

with our higher self we are literally embodying and going

from a dualistic type nature now think of it like this what is the transition

we're making we're making a transition from that of the third dimension of

duality this is good this is bad this is light this is dark this is left this is

right all of these different dualities we're moving more into a single point of

consciousness of love of dropping the left-brain right-brain good bad all of

this we're dropping that and moving with the awareness is still there but moving

into more of a heart based consciousness more into that of what is called the

fifth dimensional state of consciousness which is of unconditional love we are

moving in that direction I'm not saying that tomorrow we're there I'm not saying

that we're just gonna magically appear somewhere else I'm saying that we're

shifting to that right now as we speak we are becoming more aware of the

darkness we can choose to let it go and move into this higher state of

consciousness now in the same way what your higher self is doing is your higher

self at nighttime is making appointments with certain people okay I make an

appointment with this soul over here this person and this person is gonna

trigger this person so you're gonna tomorrow there's going to be this

altercation with someone else in your family and this is going to be the

opportunity to go more within to transform yourself from the inside out

and if you absorb and integrate that experience as the ego self when you wake

up tomorrow and you go through the experience and you learn what you need

to learn or integrate the experience what you need to integrate it you then

don't have to repeat that pattern you become more of who you are but you see

that's what your higher self is doing your higher self is helping orchestrate

certain parts of your life and it's seen is there certain situations that I can

put into Aarons life that will help them go on the track needs to go on in the

life track needs to go on so in a way our higher selves aren't just bound by

time and space so they can see further than just this moment so right now he

may be saying okay Aaron is consistently doing this this and this I need to put

Aaron on the on the track to do this so there's gonna be this situation it's

gonna happen in two weeks and when this situation happens it's gonna give him an

opportunity to go in this direction if he doesn't take that opportunity then

I'll put something else in his life that will help him to go on that opportunity

so we're constantly being guided it's about being aware of that guidance and

tapping into that connection the more we tap into that connection the more we see

that that's what we can begin to absorb that's more when we could begin to align

with it now in general if you want to connect to your honor's to higher self

set the intention first off I set the intention every single night when I go

to bed that when I go into dreamland I go to sleep I connect to my Higher Self

and I connect to any messages that my Higher Self wants me to have and they

don't get certain dreams I'll have weird dreams I don't even know why I'm having

them but guess what there's something from them that I absorb you know even if

I don't consciously understand what that is I still absorb some type of that

information so what you could begin to do is understand that you set the

intention before you go to bed every night I want to one remember my dreams

when I wake up in the morning that alone will do wonders that works very well

secondly I don't remember the messages from my Higher Self

I want to connect with my higher self in some way whatever way that is and I want

to remember what that is set that intention and then there you go

and then you're on your way that's the very first step to connecting with your

higher self now the other thing you could do is when you meditate everyday

which hopefully and if you haven't yet you can meditate for 5-10 minutes a day

simply connection to connect to your heart space because within your heart

space when you feel the passion in your heart that is your connection to your

higher self the more you do that the more you grow within it and you could

always ask yourself this as well certain situations will come into your

life situations that you don't want to be there why is this happening

ask yourself what could be what I could get out of this situation what could be

the positive in this situation what is this making me more aware of in this

situation because as you start to ask those questions you start to link up

with the message your higher self is trying to give you your higher self is

constantly communicating with you it is constantly emitting a signal to you the

key is connecting to that signal through your heart Center getting out of the

head into the heart and absorbing it and the thread to this whole experience is

your passion what are you passionate about when you

follow your passion you are in the vibrational frequency of how you prefer

to be the key is getting to that vibration of passion ask yourself the

question what am I most passionate about what I prefer to be doing in my life as

you start to ask these questions you're gonna start to see answers come up set

the intention to find out what it is to some people said well I don't know what

that is set the intention to find out what it is

sometimes you just saying I don't know I don't know I know creates the reality of

I don't know I don't know I don't know stop saying you don't know instead set

the intention to figure out what it is because as you set that intention you

will find more and more evidence of it you will literally shift to reality of

more and more evidence of it and then what you do is you make the choice move

from out of the head and into being into the heart center and as you are in the

heart center you will more so connect to your higher self in a very powerful way

you will start to literally embody it so understand that there's a lot going on

behind the scenes but you're always guided you are always guided you have

either guides that are helping you multi-dimensional guides that help you

or your higher-self helping you at all times you are never alone I look like

I'm alone in my house right now I still have this connection to the larger

aspect of me so I'm never really alone you are never alone watching this video

in your room right now in your car right now listening to it

wherever you are you're not alone not only because there's other people around

you if you're alone and it appears to be alone you are still connected to a harsh

larger stream of consciousness that is your higher self you have spirit guides

this is who you really are just about understanding this connection there's a

lot of things going beyond in the background but the key is to integrate

what happens in your life and to connect to it with the awareness when you are

aware of it when you are aware of this connection you experience more of it if

you leave just as the ego then you block it out you can live and understand the

ego but also understand there's so much more to you you are not just this

physical structure there's this physical meet you are so much more than that your

energy goes far beyond your body and you have a connection to everything else

around you that's when things really begin to change so understand that right

now on the planet is about this time of transformation you chose to be here for

some specific reason you most likely if you're listening to my videos are part

of helping this awareness get out there because as time goes on more and more

people are gonna be waking up if you're like yo I know a little bit about this

whole waking up thing because I've woke as well then you can help other people

go through the process so it's about being aware of that understand that when

you go to bed at night you're connecting and you're really as your

multi-dimensional self you might not physically remember it and if you

remember that you are unconditional love and bliss you might wake up and be like

why the hell am I here so that information might not be readily

available to you until you become at peace with where you are in order to

transcend the 3d and into 5d you have to become at peace with the 3d many people

I see are like screw the government screw this screw that all this that's

negativity and resistance that's reaffirming the old reality instead

allow it to be what it is but make a choice that your gonna go deeper within

yourself be the change you wish to see in the world

align with the true vibration of who you are be in your heart space set the

intention before you go to bed at night to connect to your higher self connect

to your heart center follow the thread of passion in your

life and watch how your life changes you are more than you can even imagine

the more you tap into this is the more you will become who you really are meant

to be so one thing I'll be doing is more live cuny's on Instagram if you want to

ask me questions about this go ahead and follow me right there I also do daily

content there as well twice a day I do videos at native videos that are just

Trump Proposes State Run Media Network To Tell The World How Awesome He Is - Duration: 4:34.

Everybody knows the Donald Trump hates the media with the exception of Fox News, of course,

but he hates the media because they're always so darn mean to him, and he makes sure that

anytime he gets his little bitty feelings hurt by the media, that he gets on twitter

and attacks them and lets us all know how sad and depressed he truly is, that the media

is not being nice to him because he hasn't done anything worthy of being nice about.

So yesterday on twitter, Donald Trump came up with the brilliant idea.

Maybe we should just create a state run propaganda outlet to show the world how great Donald

Trump truly is.

Here is what Donald Trump tweeted over a series of tweets.

While CNN doesn't do great in the United States based on ratings outside of the US, they have

very little competition throughout the world.

CNN has a powerful voice portraying the United States in an unfair and false way.

Something has to be done, including the possibility of the United States starting our own worldwide

network to show the world the way we really are.

Great.

Um, okay.

First and foremost, aside from this being a ridiculously stupid idea, there actually

already is a state run media outlet.

It's called Voice of America.

Uh, the government funds it to the tune of about $220,000,000 every single year.

So we already have what you're talking about Donald trump.

The problem is their coverage of you is also not completely, uh, you know, great.

Why?

Because they're talking about what's actually happening in this country.

So if you wanted to start a different worldwide network, as you call it, to show the United

States the rest of the world, actually how great that United States is.

What are you going to talk about?

You can talk about the fact that we have people who are dying because they can't afford prescription

drugs.

People who are being given rejection letters because they can't afford a organ transplant.

Uh, people in Alabama living in what the UN has called extreme poverty on fewer than $4

per day.

You're going to show them all of the, uh, homeless veterans that we have that all the

administrations in recent years of just kind of turned their back on.

You got to show them images of us border agents, gassing children.

Is that what makes America great?

Are you going to show them footage of the Georgia election where the Republican literally

stole the election from Stacey Abrams?

You're going to show them that.

What are you going to show him?

Donald, you're going to show them the fact that you're still out there riling up these

disgusting human beings in your rally who were chanting, lock her up while ignoring

the fact that your very own daughter and many other members of your administration did the

exact same thing that you want Hillary Clinton locked up for.

Is that what you're going to show them?

What exactly do you want your worldwide network to show?

Donald?

Tell us.

Tell us what this programming is going to be.

Because I can promise you, if you want to show the rest of the world what America is

really like, all it's going to do is lower their opinion of us here in the United States.

We are running out of things to be proud of right now.

Again, people are dying because they can't afford their prescription drugs.

We have an administration.

You Mr Trump, who says that climate change doesn't exist.

We have Republicans in Congress who in spite of the massive climate change report, we just

got say it doesn't exist.

You are out there insulting the state of California after they suffered the deadliest wildfire

in the state's history.

You neglected Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria just left them to die.

You're pretty much doing the same thing to all the other hurricanes that have hit along

the coast.

Luckily here we've had enough good citizens come forward and volunteer their time and

efforts and money to help rebuild the areas in the United States hit by hurricanes.

A lot of those actually came from NFL sports teams, which you claim to hate so much.

They're the ones out there doing real work.

You know a Tampa Bay buccaneers, the Houston Texans, with Jj Watt after Harvey, you got

the Carolina Panthers after the hurricane struck up there this year.

They're out there helping people.

What are you doing?

You're playing golf.

You're ignoring problems.

You have a horrible disaster response on hand, ready to go anytime something bad happens

in this country, so you don't really want the rest of the world to see what all of us

here in the United States are seeing every single day.

Because I can promise you if they truly understood what was happening here, they would hate us

even more than they already do.

I have HAD IT with these Trojan L16 flooded lead acid batteries! - Duration: 3:33.

You know, I'm just gonna be straight and honest with y'all dealing with these flooded lead-acid batteries is getting very, very old

The other morning, this is what I woke up to on my 24v battery bank: 22.61v. So, I knew something was wrong

Just real quick...a sidenote

I installed a four outlet deal on my local

switch right up there. So now I got four outlets

Anyway, let's get back to you these batteries. I found two batteries that were at

4.35 volts and the other one was like, 5v

and I took

two

from that string that I pulled off in September and I think I got them somewhat in good shape

But, this whole battery bank is a "ticking time bomb"

on longevity, you know, it's just a matter of time before all these are done

So, all these voltages that I taped the batteries was what I started with

and right now

I am equalizing these cells

Per the data sheet from Trojan for this

specific battery. As you can see all the Midnite Solar(s) are an equalization

set at 32.4v. And yes, I'm using a temperature sensor probe on the batteries

So, let's take a look and see what's going on here

This one, that one's doing good all three are

bubbling well, that one is doing pretty good

I think, this one, the center one right there

It's bubbling but not as aggressive. So I'm just going to let this thing equalize. So that one's good there

That one appears to be good

Is it this one? Yeah that cell right there on the end

It's bubbling, but it's not that good

And yes, I know how to do a specific gravity test using hydrometer and all that. And I did that all last winter

Or was it January of this year?

messy, stinky, hot

unhealthy

ruined pairs of jeans

stuffy nose

eyes watering, skin irritation...good times

There, the spec sheet says 32.4v and there's your specific gravities. And I did a complete, no kidding

breakdown

on an Excel spreadsheet, all this. In the interim I threw these vent caps in the dishwasher with two

detergent pods and they came out great. (And) just blew the

soap out of them. They're dry, good to go, ready to install but not while I'm equalizing and inspecting so

There you have it. I'm pretty much done with these Trojan flooded lead-acid

batteries. Now I have other Trojans that are AGM's that are just doing fantastic on my other systems

A little side note here. I move the stereo

AV receiver

up top there and put in some heavier duty wire so

Alright guys, there you have it. Thanks for watching. I appreciate your comments and we'll see you next time

How super rich companies harm us all — and try to cover it up | Anand Giridharadas - Duration: 4:19.

Wealthy corporations and people love to ask the question: "What can I do?

What should we do?

What can we start?

What program could we launch?"

I would say to the billionaire change agents and corporate social responsibility departments

of our country ask not what you can do for your country, ask what you've already done

to your country.

Before you want to start something of your own, a little private unaccountable venture,

do an audit.

What do you pay people?

Do you pay people enough?

Do you use subcontractors to avoid responsibility for those workers?

Do you pay benefits?

When do your benefits kick in?

What do you lobby for in Washington?

Do you lobby for things that make everybody have a better life in America or do you lobby

against social policies that would cost you something.

What's your tax avoidance situation?

Do you happen to be this earnest company that wants to change the world.

I mean is this company paying its full measure of taxes?

Does it use tax havens?

Does it do the double Dutch with an Irish sandwich tax maneuver?

Does it send money to the Cayman Islands and then back and do all this complex routing?

If you're telling me that there are companies that do none of this stuff, that pay people

well, that don't dump externalities into the economy, that don't cause social problems

– if there are such companies that exist yes, then once you've taken care of all that

great.

Doing some projects to help people is great.

But I haven't found very many such companies.

And more often than not when companies do a lot of CSR it's because they understand

that they're not on the right side of justice in their day operations so they want to do

virtue as a side hustle.

And the problem is a lot of these companies tend to create harm in billions and then do

good in the millions.

And you don't need to be a mathematician to know that we're the losers from that bargain.

And you look at the B Corp movements.

There's a lot of companies that actually have an interest in trying to invent a new kind

of company that is not predatory.

There's in the B Corp movement a certification process for those companies now.

The challenges of them is that it's a great thing but it's fundamentally voluntary and

what this does is it means that if you're an already good virtuous company you may be

motivated to get into this club.

But if you're Exxon or Pepsi you're not going to be in this club.

And one of the things I'd like to see is how can we actually use the power of public policy

to get more companies to sign up to simply not dump harm, social harm, into our society

– whether that takes the form of toxic sludge or obese children or workers with unpredictable

hours and income.

And in the B Corp we have a model of a company that looks different but we don't have any

kind of compulsion around it.

So Senator Elizabeth Warren has a proposal out to turn every American corporation into

a B Corp as a condition for getting a corporate charter.

I think there's a less radical option that I sometimes talk about which is why don't

we just have a different and lower corporate tax rate for companies that in a certifiable

way don't dump huge social problems onto the commons.

And that way we might see thousands and thousands of companies electing to become certified

benefit corporations in order to avail of that lower tax rate.

I think we have to start thinking about how we attack one of the root causes of this kind

of grade and malfeasance in American life which is shareholder primacy and the fact

that many companies, even ones that want to be better are at risk of violating their shareholders

rights by doing so.

But I don't think we can do that strictly by creating a voluntary pool of better companies.

I think we have to start using our leverage as a society to say if you want the benefits

that we as a society give you when you become a corporation here's what we want in return.

Top Tinder Tips For Men (Get MORE MATCHES on Tinder!) - Duration: 9:56.

Renee: For those of you that don't know Hindi is the fastest-growing dating app in the

world with over 50 million users and 12 million matches daily it's pretty safe

to say you're going to meet someone but with that many users on there how do you

stand out from all the competition and how do you make sure that you don't get

lost in the crowd and you're not having every single woman swipe left on you I'm

going to ask you for the attractive man team and in this video I'm going to help

you get your tinder profile to stand out from all the other guys and get those

women swiping right I'm a professional dating and relationship coach and it's

my mission to help men like you become the most desirable dateable and

confident men you can possibly be so make sure you subscribe to our Channel

and give us a big thumbs up let's talk about dating online now we are in a time

and an age in history where we have more single people than ever before so if you

feel like there's not many fish swimming in your pond that's because the pond is

overcrowded with all the other men trying to compete for the same women so

the competition is high and you can't just rely on a casual photo anymore

literally she is going to make a split decision in one-tenth of a second to

either decide to swipe left or swipe right so here are my tips to make sure

that you leave the right impression so that she chooses you let's talk about

photos okay that's pretty much four to five different photos that you are

allowed to put up on your tinder profile and here are the rules with photos photo

number one is your profile photo now this should be a photo that really

showcases you as someone warm and inviting but also catches her attention

make sure that photo is actually of you right now not of you ten years ago or

when you were ten kilos hotter it's important to stay or think because when

you meet her in real life you want to know that you haven't been lying about

the way that you actually look make sure the photo is not too far away or too

close and make sure she is able to see your eye so remove the Hat and

sunglasses because eye contact actually helps her believe that you're not going

to be hiding something and don't forget to smile statistics actually show that

photos that have a smiling picture get more engagement than others that don't

number two in group photos agree so is a great way to show that you ask

someone who is fun to be around and that you also have a social life and it also

means that not every single photo on your bio is just you you you because

then she might start to think that you're only into yourself or that you

have no friends now just make sure that your group photo isn't your primary

photo because if you make that your primary photo then she's going to be

left guessing which one you actually are the third photo should be a photo of you

looking a little bit classy and dressed up because women love that crap okay now

this doesn't have to be about you dressing up in a suit or a tux just a

simple white collared shirt or a white button-up shirt will work miracles for

us and lastly choose one to two photos of showing you in action showing

something that you actually like doing whether it is hobby whether it is a

sport whether it's rock climbing whatever it is what this does is it

actually shows a little bit more about what you're interested which can

actually help align you with someone who might be also interested in the same

sort of things and it gives the women an idea plus it shows that you're active

and also fun to be around now let's talk buy apart from having all those photos I

just mentioned we want to make sure that your bio is actually able to capture her

attention as well because after she sees your face the first thing that she's

going to do is actually want to get to know more about you with what you have

written the verse rule is don't lie about your age and don't open up with a

cheesy one-liner make sure you keep it short and don't be afraid to use some

humor anything that actually makes her laugh and is original is actually going

to get her more interested in the rest of you that you can showcase your bio

should be a brief idea of who you are what it is that you like it doesn't need

to be your full blown history or start lecturing women play it cool don't put

too much information in but make sure you have just enough to pique her

interest now there's a little bit of a special I'm going to give you some

examples of buyers that I think work really well and actually get

statistically a lot of interaction from women on tinder malcom 32 looking at my

phone searching for a reason to stop looking at my phone Brian 28 I'm

concerned what tinder will do to my self-esteem I like to laugh travel and I

do not partake in karaoke half as much as I want to Joseph 34 my perfect day

I pick you up in my Kia Sorento you get in there's candles in the car you go is

that dangerous and I go yes but I like danger after we come outside and you see

my cars on fire you go your cars on fire aren't you upset I pull out a bag of

marshmallows and I go no I knew this was going to happen and then I kiss you in

front of my burning car guys there is a perfect example of things that are

completely original and full of humor and are actually going to get a girl

stopped in her tracks and go this guy is different from the rest don't be afraid

to be creative and like I said use your humor the next thing you need to do is

initiate one of the really frustrating things is that we are building

relationships through screens and we're taking weeks to be able to even start

going on a date if a girl has swiped right on you you want to make sure that

as soon as you've got a spare moment you are actually going to initiate a

conversation with her chances are she's already had about five or ten guys

actually match and talk to her that day so if you want to make sure that you're

ahead of the others then it's about how you start the conversation with her

please please please don't start a conversation with are you doing

or just a one-word Hey no guys we are not 12 anymore this is about being a man

and showing her that you are a man and then enough to be able to actually ask

her about her day ask her her about herself and ask a question so that she's

constantly forced to actually answer back to you now if you're someone who

actually gets stuck with talking to women on text messages and through

phones and things like that then I want you to follow these steps right now

number one introduce with confidence hey Worksop as opposed to hi my name's

Rob is great to meet you how's your day going is going to get two different

responses on who you are and don't be afraid to step into that number two

compliment telling her she is hot or has a nice

booty as opposed to actually saying hey great smile or you have really pretty

eyes or I really love that dress that you're wearing in that photo with your

girlfriend's looks like you had a great night out again is going to send two

different types of signals to her if you're going to compliment

make sure you steer clear of anything that might be sexualized which is

usually here and your bum or even the lips stick to the smile not the lips are

such the trick is you want to make her feel beautiful

not hot number three ask questions you want to get the conversation flowing

straight away so that she can see that you're actually interested in her so

that you can get to know who she is and also so that you can creep her

attention away from any other men now if you're struggling with having a

conversation with a girl then I recommend that you download our free

conversation cheat sheet but in general the things that you asked her about her

friends the weather the work family interests pretend that she is just

somebody that you work with and you're basically just wanting to get to know

more about them number four keep it casual and light if

you go to hardcore or too deep too soon it's going to come across really kind of

intense and creepy saying things like I feel that we just have a connection I

can see into your soul I think it's fantastic we need to connect more and

that is shake hem astray as opposed to hey I've had a really great time talking

to you you've actually made my day again you're going to send two different types

of signals to her and trust me you want to make sure that you are

giving her a little bit of room for her to have some mystery about who it is

that you are that's what's going to draw her to you the goal with any woman and a

first encounter or a first conversation is to make her feel safe and make her

laugh and lastly ask her out if you want to get ahead of the crowd and every

other guy that she's probably texting and talking to at the same time then be

the first one to actually initiate a date but don't you say hey we should get

drinks on Friday night actually go are you free on Friday night how about seven

o'clock where are you based would you like me to pick you up or do you want to

meet there I thought of this great bar have a plan in your head before you

actually start to ask this girl out it's going to show that you're a man isn't

afraid to take control that you're able to lead that you're able to be on tinder

for the right reasons and you have intentions behind actually having a

conversation with her and you know what it means that you're going to snap her

up before any other guy out there as well other men don't have to be your

competition if you know how to set yourself apart right from the get-go

and these are all really an achievable ways to do it I promise you put these

into action and you are going to see a massive difference in the amount of

women who are actually attracted to you and wanting to get to know you and go on

a date with you but once again if you are struggling with being able to have a

conversation in a flowing and normal sort of way and confident way with a

woman then be sure to download our free conversation cheat sheet it is packed

full with strategies on how to actually start a conversation with a woman then

how deaf am i? [CC] - Duration: 5:04.

Hey everyone!

Welcome back to The Essential Sign!

*Hearing aid chimes*

*Hearing aid whistles*

I'm Chrissy and today

I'm doing a question and answer video about deaf related topics

and me.

I feel a little bit narcissistic, but whatever

I'm just gonna go ahead and start this video

Okay so most of the questions that I got are from Instagram.

So the first question is,

"How do you communicate with the outside world?"

hmm

So... I don't really communicate with the "outside world"

I live on earth.

I'm from Earth.

And I communicate with people from Earth.

So hmm...

But seriously how do I communicate?

Well with deaf people we can communicate with ASL and with hearing

people I can write things down or I can voice back to communicate if the hearing

person can sign then they will, it depends who I'm communicating with.

But typically,

I can always communicate with anyone.

Okay on to the second question

So I get a bunch of different versions of this question,

but the main point that they're all asking is..

Where do I place myself on the deaf spectrum?

So where am I

on the deaf spectrum between being completely hearing and profoundly deaf?

The simple answer is that I'm on the far end of the deaf spectrum.

So, let's explain this using

an audiogram.

So, imagine the audiogram.

So hearing people tend be in this top range and can hear everything from 0 to 30 decibels(and above).

Typically that's hearing people.

Then if you move down, to 30 to 80 decibels

This is typically the area hard of hearing people fall under.

Growing up the most I could hear was around 80 decibels,

but my hearing loss is progressive and it went

down, so the most I can hear now is a around 100 decibels.

For people below 80

decibels, they typically identify as Deaf.

So, where am I? I'm further toward the Deaf end of the spectrum.

Like really deaf.

I don't hear s@*T.

That's your answer.

Okay so the next question someone asked is asked, is they what to do...

They don't know how to identify themselves, they don't know if they're

hard of hearing, deaf, or partially deaf.

That's up to you!

My advice is if you

can communicate with hearing people fine,

maybe miss some things, but are generally fine,

then that's hard of hearing.

If you try to communicate with hearing people and

are missing a bunch of things and struggle a lot to communicate with those hearing people,

it's probably best to identify as deaf, but that is completely

up to you.

Okay. So somebody asked me how to find their

local deaf community because they're learning ASL online and want to fully

emerge himself to pick up more signs.

My advice for you is to

open up your computer go

online and look at Facebook.

Facebook is the best place to find the deaf community.

I hope you find something! Good luck!

Okay now last things someone asked me.

How to not feel shy about sharing their story and it's their experiences and whatnot.

My personal opinion-

Your s@*t's valid.

I want to see it!

Share your content, your experiences, your background,

your life, etc.

That s@*t's important.

I value seeing other deaf and

hard-of-hearing people share their personal life stories!

So link me please!

Finished! You guys had some really interesting questions!

Thank you so much!

Please like share and subscribe to my channel! Thanks for watching!

What It Takes To Be NYPD's Elite Bee Cop - Duration: 3:55.

Officer Mays: I've been stung well over 400 times.

No line of duty injury report.

It's just that you never get used to it.

Narrator: Meet the NYPD's elite bee cop,

Officer Darren Mays.

He takes care of about 40,000 honeybees.

They live on the roof of the 104th precinct in Queens.

Normally, he's a patrol officer on the night shift.

But since 2014, he's gotten dozens of calls

to rescue New York's lost bees.

Officer Mays: During the daytime I'm sleeping.

And that's when bees are swarming, usually I'm asleep.

I wake up,

make sure I make arrangements for

my little one to get picked up from day care.

Head in my car and head to the city.

It's a good rush.

The adrenaline is a rush because you know you're

gonna get an audience.

Once I get there it's usually cordoned off

with other officers waiting on my arrival.

And also have access to ESU

to get me anything I need.

If I need a power source to plug my vacuum into,

they'll get that for me.

The generator,

or hook it up to their truck where I can get power.

A portion of it is made from a -

from a regular vacuum.

But it has components on it

where you can adjust the suction

vacuum on it,

so you don't destroy or kill the bees

as they're being suctioned in.

They get suctioned into a box.

It's like a hive box with a cage on it

that can be used for transport.

Transport 'em to home or even at the rooftop apiary

that I have here at my command.

I'm the only cop that I know of

in the police department or probably worldwide

that has an apiary on their roof.

Narrator: Unofficially, cops have been filling

the role since 1994.

Today, Officer Mays is one of two cops

on the NYPD's bee unit.

Officer Lauriano: I'm known as the bee guy

sometimes they'll throw out Winnie the Pooh

it's all in good fun.

They call us beekeepers

but are we really beekeepers?

They're free to go wherever they want.

We kind of just help them along the way.

Give them a nice piece of real estate for them

to have and it's up to them

what they want to do.

Officer Mays: The job that I do for the department,

I guess it's important because

sometimes it depends on where the bees swarm.

They can swarm onto a bicycle,

a tree, hovering right above your head, on a building.

And, New Yorkers,

they walk kind of cluelessly

and they can actually walk into a swarm without knowing

and they could be stung so that's why they call

on us to remove them.

Officer Lauriano: Oh don't be afraid of the honeybee.

We need them in society.

We need them in our environment.

There's nothing to be afraid of them.

Officer Mays: I never was into honeybees,

I never liked honey.

So I had friend named Rich who lives

in Massachusetts.

Narrator: Officer Mays' buddy Rich introduced him

to beekeeping in 2007.

And he was hooked.

That Christmas,

his wife bought him a kit and

the rest is history.

Now Officer Mays harvests about 600 pounds of honey

each year.

Officer Mays: It's ready to be extracted.

Full frame here.

We're gonna take the cappings off the top.

Put it through an extractor,

filter it, bottle it.

What I do is give it away to friends

and family and a lot of my co-workers

they're willing to give me donations

for the work that I put in

because of my time and the equipment that I use.

Everything is out of pocket

so they give me donations for jars to offset the costs.

Officer Lauriano: They're cute.

They're fuzzy,

they fly around.

They want to be around us.

I want to be around them.

And what I can say is I love 'em as much as New Yorkers

and that's a lot.

Tik Tok Predator EXPOSED - THEBUDDAY - Duration: 5:26.

demographic on the wildly popular app tik-tok is no secret yeah kids under 14

and then you've also got dudes over 40 and then there's a guy known on tik-tok

as the buddy you might recognize him from the bad boys meme where he wore a

leather jacket and like twirled handcuffs so that was from his tick-tock

account and he's been using it to gain notoriety and to use that notoriety to

groom underage girls welcome back to inform overload I'm Charlotte Ober and

why don't you smash that subscribe for trending news that is actually relevant

to you before I get into this video if you guys have heard of any more

allegations against tick tock predators make sure you let us know in the

comments or through social media so I came across a video about the buddy on

Jo Brees Channel and when I was finished watching it I felt like deeply disturbed

it was about an accused tick tock predator known as the buddy if you

haven't seen Jo Brees channel highly recommend I'll link it in the

description below there are also other youtubers like Bionic Pig who have also

made videos on the allegations against the buddy so here's what we know the

buddy a is a 26 year old man who gained a pretty sizable following on musically

now tick tock Instagram and snapchat so the buddy is known for his really weird

tick tock account where he posts these awkward cringy videos like this one what

do they really want if they want a Batman in the streets and a Joker in the

sheets that's what women want guys a Batman in the streets and a Joker in the

sheets it's not what we want just for your information like I definitely don't

want no Heath Ledger Joker's in my bed that is scary

wise house yes yep so no one could really tell if this guy was just being

weird or trolling or if he was a legit pervert but now it seems that the last

option is more likely the case his videos have made him pretty much the

poster boy of creeps on tik-tok and it's hard to find a tick-tock cringe

compilation on YouTube without a video of the buddy in it truthfully his videos

make me feel really uncomfortable as it is but this story gets even creepier the

buddy also chooses to do tick-tock duets with obvious minors so if you don't have

tick-tock there's a feature called duets where you can add onto someone's

lip-sync video and play around with like the frame so that your videos fit

together and the but a does these duets with really

girls like some of these girls look no older than 16 maybe even as young as 12

and here's the but a pretending to bite off one of their hands oh and I forgot

this little number and another of the but a pretending to kiss a very obvious

minor but wait it gets worse it seems that the predatory behavior doesn't only

happen through tik-tok videos the buddy has allegedly tried to contact young

girls and groom them most specifically a musically user called bit ho gee who was

also underage came forward and said that the buddy sent her some really nasty

videos and photos so when she did this other underage girl started reaching out

to her to share similar experiences the buddy then came out with a video where

he said that someone hacked his phone and he somewhat accused the girl who

came forward with the allegations the buddy then blocked bit ho G so several

underage girls have come forward to say that the buddy would have extremely

inappropriate conversations with them over DMS and text girls as young as 14

have said that the buddy sent them dick pics here's a DM conversation he's

literally a sick freak I'm 15 now but when he sent me the dick pic and was

talking to me all gross and I was 14 and he knew I was 14 I would have sent you

the dick pic so you have more evidence but I don't want to make you

uncomfortable and then she sent it that is a dick pic it's blurred out but

that's a dick pic hard to tell if it belongs to the buddy I mean I haven't

seen that but like you get what I mean so yes deeanne's can be faked but then

there's also a lot of really gross videos out there that clearly show the

but a making sexual gestures and being creepy as creepy can be to be quite

frank he has also tried to meet up with an

underaged girl but as of right now nothing appears to have happen in real

life because of all these allegations the buddies Instagram accounts tik-tok

accounts and snapchat accounts have been disabled so as of right now the word on

the street is that he's been arrested there isn't a lot of information about

his arrest but if you have any information please let us know it was

really hard to find any evidence against him that wasn't in a YouTube video the

mainstream media probably doesn't know about it yet but for now I'm gonna

lighten the mood and stop talking about this creep and respond to some comments

these are from our video Princess Diana had a secret daughter lil Val said I

love channel and I always click the bell for

the potato Queen and King if I get featured I will literally post this on

my Instagram and send it to you that is very nice and thanks for clicking the

Bell but if you could get more than once you will actually unsubscribe from

notification so make sure the Bell is actually on cute avocado gotcha said I

just found out I'm related to Gandhi you are that's cool wait you're you're

joking good one avi Cobb said that awkward moment when

you loved inform overload so much that you piss yourself you know you can take

your phone with you to the bathroom right like you don't have to like pee

your pants best Amala he'll watch you said who clicked as fast as lightning

when I saw the title I was like what no need to shout inside voices

o me J said yay first disliked note I love IO I just want to be first in

something for y'all Internet warriors okay but also when you dislike a video

you're telling the YouTube algorithm that you don't want to see our videos

anymore so always torque on that like if you like the video so YouTube knows that

you want to see more of our content welcome to the in screen the video is

over but don't you worry you can keep watching IO by checking out this

playlist over here and don't forget to subscribe so I can see you in the next

What comes after my MLIS? - Duration: 5:20.

It all starts with a question: what's next?

My name's Peter, and this is Stacks and Facts.

[musical interlude]

Y'all, I...

am finishing classes this Friday, and... ain't that somethin'.

I'm going to have a Masters in February because that's when conferral is,

But for all intents and purposes, come this Friday, I am done with school!

For.. like, ever! And that's a weird feeling. So this video is gonna be a little bit different because that's how I do.

This past month has been super busy, super exciting, so much has happened,

so I'm just gonna do a quick recap. Uh,

Around the end -- like, October 31st, I flew to Toronto and I was in Toronto for a few days

for this thing called OpenCon, which was awesome. Basically, it was this get-together of

me, and like 150 other people who are really into the idea that people deserve to have access

to research that they pay for. People deserve to have access to education if they want an education!

Money shouldn't be a barrier, neither should geography or anything else.

And we just spent like 3 or 4 days together thinking about solutions to that, and understanding

why that was a problem!

And that was so great! And then I came home a little bit after that,

for like a week or so, and then I flew to Huntsville, Alabama for this thing called ThinkerCon!

Which... was... ALSO AMAZING. If you haven't heard what ThinkerCon is, or weren't following me on Social Media,

ThinkerCon is -- or was, rather -- this first go-round of basically a bunch of folks from the Internet

who do things to get people to think.

Just spending time with each other, relaxing, doing some brainstorming,

and just generally feeding off of each other's energy. And it was... ALSO amazing.

And both of these things have gotten me thinking about what I want to do with the rest of my life.

Especially with graduation coming up soon.

An update: I don't have a job yet, so that's fun!

This is where I casually plug that I have a Patreon and you might want to go give me some money on that

if you're feeling generous!

Um, however, I have been thinking a lot about what it means to be a creator, and what it means to be a librarian.

Potentially at the same time.

And I think there's space for someone who fits both of those roles.

When I think about what it means to be a librarian, when I think about what draws me to the profession --

I think about how it serves--it lets me fill this role as an in-between. Between a community,

and the information that that community needs to succeed.

And I think that there's a role for that--for someone like that-- for online creators,

for internet creators, especially folks who make educational content! You know, since that's my jam.

Um, and so, since I've gotten back from ThinkerCon, I've been thinking a lot about the troubles that internet creators have.

In terms of having access to information, and the effects that has on their life!

Like, the measurable effects of not being able to afford healthcare, or not being able to earn a living wage,

or being expected to work for more -- or rather, for less -- that what you're worth!

And maybe it's optimistic of me; maybe it's idealistic of me, but I think...

That I can do something to make that work.

So I've been doing some prototyping, and some concept sketches, which -- Rick, if you ever watch this video,

you'll be very happy to know that I'm using lots of stuff from LIBR555 and 556 -- um,

I think there's something I can do... to facilitate access to this information.

I've already started doing some information-gathering; I've put together some surveys to get the feels

of how internet creators are feeling around things like compensation, and around how things like

how their work affects their health.

Because this information doesn't exist! I mean, there's been a little bit of journalism on the mental health side

over the past year or so, but like...

not really research, and y'know, I think it's important to study the things you love! So. I've started doing that.

Being realistic, I've also started keeping an eye out for other jobs that are up my alley,

I would really like to stay at UBC; I really don't want to give access up to research and things like that.

And also other jobs in the field-- err, in the area, in Vancouver.

So we'll see how that goes. Ummm...

But yeah! It's an exciting time to be me. Hopefully I'm going to have some more information

in about two weeks; um, also, I will make another educational -- like, explicitly educational video for y'all, uh, this...

Not next week, because next week is Project for Awesome and I would like to make a video for Project for Awesome,

but the week after that!

So stay tuned! Um...

And... Yeah! I guess that's it. Real short video this time.

As always, thanks for watching,

And until next time, don't forget to ask questions.

Oh, and happy holidays! Christmas tree.

Alright, bye y'all.
