5 Dibujantes que me inspiran a dibujar mejor. - Duration: 10:21.

I am always looking for inspiration in the work of other artists.

I learn from the great masters of the past

and I delight in the work of contemporary artists.

In the next 10 minutes I will share with you the 5 artists that I admire the most today

and I'l try to explain why I want to forget about them for good.

Yes.

Because this video is a farewell letter.

I will say goodbye to these 5 masters, not without first thanking them for teaching me

the limits of what is possible with a pencil and paper.

After expelling them from my life,

I will focus on the artist I know the least and the one I have despised the longest.

Join me a few minutes and I'll explain myself better.

Mr. Malan's portraits are impeccable.

As a great supporter of the use of the mechanical pencil,

David Malan taught me that this tool, practical and easy to use,

offers extraordinary results.

It has to be in the hands of a virtuoso performer like David Malan, of course.

His portraits are the brightest expression of the balance between caricature and realism.

The patterns of his drawings accentuate the delicate features of the children

and the eyes, slightly larger, evoke the same innocence of a wild animal.

Like a deer or a rabbit.

From an early age, T.V. cartoons served as an encouragement

to fill my school notebooks with scribbles and doodles.

As a child, watching television always included a pencil and paper.

I feel that the David Malan's work is the bridge between the memories of my childhood

and the professional artist that I want to be until the end of my days.

For your elegant lines.

For your virtuous chromatic austerity.

For teaching me that you can draw until dawn for years and publish a book independently

with the financial support of your admirers.

Thank you

Thanks for sharing your drawings with me.

When I look at Josh Clare's drawings

there is a voice in my head that repeats excitedly:

"I want to draw like that."

"I want to achieve that mastery."

Not everyone wants to be an artist

but everyone who wants it has that voice that push them to practice every time they admire an artist,

as much as I admire Josh Clare.

The world is full of people who spend their whole lives surrounded by art

and never feel the need to draw.

Art affects them in a different way and I fear that in some cases, it impacts them in a deeper way than me.

I admire the technique, the composition and the expression in the lines of Josh Clare's drawings.

I am captivated by the discipline with which he handles the values and the audacity

with which he breaks the academic rules without ceasing to be a master.

In my idolatry I often feel envious about his drawings.

In this kind of one-man fan club of Josh Clare

I am president, founding member and treasurer.

The treasure are his drawings. and I like to imagine

that the protagonists are his friends, neighbors and relatives.

They transmit an energy of calm people

who pose for Josh because they believe in their faculties.

They want to be part of their artistic growth because they are convinced that it is worth it.

He repays them with these pieces that are a delight for me.

For your floating heads.

For your generous neighbors.

For those rolled lines and the brightness on my pupils that appears in my eyes when I see your strokes.

Thank you

Thanks for sharing your drawings with me.

Magic is what my thoughts conclude when I meet the drawings of Eliza Ivanova.

It must be magic that transports me to places where shamans cure my sorrows.

Only magic can make adore the effect of a paper stump,

a tool that I detest when I have it in my hands.

The spots on the skin of the protagonists of your stories

are non less than the same magic that explains that you have so much talent even being so young.

The drawings of Eliza Ivanova guard an ancestral wisdom

and at the same time they are the future.

For your tribal healers and their graphite tattoos.

Thank you

Thanks for sharing your drawings with me.

Cicero affirmed that the face is the portrait of the soul

and the eyes mark their intentions.

George Dawney's drawings are melancholy but not submissive.

They are characters that do not mess with anyone but are prepared to defend themselves.

They are anything but weak.

They spend their time in a Gothic atmosphere that does not diminish their dignity.

They are people who know what they are doing and prefer that nobody bother them.

They only allow George to draw them because he asked with courtesy.

I'm sure that if you come to bother to the world of George Dawney's drawings you will have a bad time.

For your upright and nostalgic faces.

For your community of artisans.

For your powerful but serene figures.

Thank you.

Thanks for sharing your drawings with me.

Finally, I want to talk about Jacob Hankinson

who, rather than drawing, seems to be chiseling marble on paper.

The solidity in the volumes of his drawings is impressive.

Each figure is a 20-ton titan and at the same time

retains the grace of a seagull's flight on the beach.

His skill elevates the models to Olympus.

He immortalizes them and makes them venerable.

I can spend hours blaming this feeling on the dramatic use of contrast in his portraits.

From the slightly low-angle perspective that turns the subjects into giants.

To the expressiveness of those atmospheric traces

that makes me feel that if I shared the same space of these characters I would always be under its shadow.

But it's just something else,

that's why, I thank you.

Thanks for sharing your drawings with me.

I want to thank these 5 drawing masters because they inspired me every day to draw better.

For their generosity I owe them each of their drawings and a good part of mine.

But I'm afraid that I fell asleep in their mastery.

I think I was hypnotized by their strokes and I just kept on the surface of their work.

As a fanatic I dedicated myself to investigate the process of their work with the hope of discovering their secrets.

I spent years collecting all their books. I was a hoarder of images and filled innumerable files with them.

But I was wrong.

This way of taking advantage of their generosity

became a labyrinth in which I fell again and again every time another artist that dazzled me appeared.

I became a fanatic of the technique.

An expert in of someone else's expression.

A headhunter with a file full of images that I treasure because I believe that in them I will find the secret to be a great artist.

I am convinced that I learned a lot by being exposed to the work of these 5 artists and many more.

But there is no secret hidden in their strokes.

The magic formula is not in the selection nor in the price of the tools they use.

What I have taken so long to discover is that the perfect alchemy, evident in their drawings

is the combination of many years of practice and the personality of each of them.

The individual sincerity that they bring to their pieces can't be found in stores

and I will not find it in my gallery of millions of images that I use as reference.

Each of their works is extraordinary

because they are delivered from the inside

and it shows.

I can not pretend to put in a blender all the superficial elements that call my attention

and hope that the result to be an unique and personal style that I can call my own.

It does not work that way.

The secret is not on the surface but inside me.

These 5 artists are geniuses because they are generous with their feelings

and together with an extraordinary technique they improve our world.

My job from now on is to translate my feelings through drawing.

Understand reality and develop the technique that best communicates my emotions.

That's what the artists I admire do.

There is no perfect technique.

There is no eloquent remix that makes originality germinate.

I will always miss something if I don't add what I have inside me.

With this different way of understanding the work of my idols

that ancient premise that every work of art is a self-portrait is very clear.

It may seem selfish to think that every painting I see is an opportunity to self-discover.

But when the result is embodied in a work that lasts and can inspire thousands of people for centuries

are we talking about selfishness?

When we sincerely open our hearts despite the risks that we all know

are we being mean?

In each stroke of the drawings that I admire is the greatest gift they can give me.

The opportunity to know myself

In the end I do not say goodbye

I welcome a new way of understanding them.

I appreciate them to the extent that they make me explore my heart

and help me walk this path in which I will be drawing for the rest of my life.

This is something that nobody can do for me

and above all

something that can not be copied.

Thank You.

Ryan Reacts - Regine Velasquez & Morissette Amon - Mariah Carey Medley | REACTION | - Duration: 11:36.

Hello and welcome guys! Here i come with a new reaction video

You've told m to react to Regine Velasquez

I was searching for her and i found...

Regine and Morissette

I thought... 2 divas, this is going to be amazing so let me react to it

They're going to sing Mariah Carey Medley

I don't know but i think i'm right

Knowing them, we can say that this is going to be incredible

Befre starting, subscribe, like this video, comment down below what video should i react to and let's check it out

My all, my all ?

I'm loving Morissette a lot now...

She's very pretty, very pretty, and that voice fits her perfectly

That squeak (vocal break)

I love that, it's like going through another register so fast

She's doing some parts in full voice. And in the original song, Mariah didn't do it

Because she did it more like softer

And Mori's doing it in full voice

The queen, the queen

This is normal but...

Those nails that they both have are nice

I don't know why did i say that but i wanted to mention it, because

I love girls with red, wherever they have red.

I love red, yes

She's very calm right now, that is very easy for her

In that part, she sang it without any problem

She didn't put a weird face or have any strain

It reminded me of Bruce Lee

The backing singers were great but sometimes

Sometimes, their voices sound a bit bad

It is hard for them to adjust themselves but they're good now

I love that whistle note

It sounded GREAT, and their voices mixed well

It was GREAT !

Some parts were good, but the backing singers were off a bit

But they could

Incredible, i know the songs for sure

GREAT, GREAT !

Morissette is pretty

I don't know how old is she but she's pretty

News24 - Surge of bets have been placed for Solskjaer's first Man Utd signing - Duration: 4:57.

A surge of bets have been placed on Kalidou Koulibaly to join Manchester United this month, it has emerged

Caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is understood to be eyeing reinforcements to his team with a central defender at top of his list

Napoli centre-back Koulibaly has emerged as the favourite to come in as Solksjaer's first signing, should Old Trafford chiefs allow him to spend

WIN £25,000 for FREE with Footie5 - click here to play  And the odds on that move happening in the coming weeks have been dramatically slashed

Bookmakers Paddy Power revealed they have dropped his odds from 33/1 to 6/1 after "a huge surge in betting" following United's 2-0 Premier League win over Newcastle on Wednesday night

They make United the favourites for the Senegal international's signature ahead of Chelsea (20/1) and Manchester City (33/1)

But should Solskjaer snap up the defender, the odds are at 5/6 that United will have to pay over a staggering £99

5million.   "We've been inundated with bets on [Kalidou] Koulibaly joining the club as soon as this month, and he's now five times more likely as he was before the game last night," said Paddy Power spokeswoman, Amy Jones

Let's watch this space. Perisic discusses Man Utd transfer   Croatia World Cup 2018 finalist Ivan Perisic has revealed he was close to joining Manchester United last summer

The Inter Milan forward was one of former Old Trafford boss Jose Mourinho's top targets

The 29-year-old admitted he was flattered by the Portuguese's interest but eventually decided to stay at the San Siro

"It's true that an offer from Manchester United was on the table and I was close to leaving Inter," he said, speaking to Four Four Two

"But I decided to stay and, as I said, [Luciano] Spalletti's perseverance to keep me played a big role

"In football, small details in these situations are key.  "Admiration from a coach like [Jose] Mourinho is definitely something that flattered me

" Eriksen to Old Trafford?  Mauricio Pochettino has admitted he is "unsure" whether Christian Erisken will commit his future to Tottenham

The Argentine, who has himself been linked with a summer switch to Old Trafford, is aware that a number of potential suitors - incuding United - are interested in signing the Denmark international

Eriksen has 18 months left on his contract at Tottenham and Pochettino is keen for him stay

But he fears a trophyless campaign could see the midfielder look for a new challenge

"No news is good news," said Pochettino.  "Who knows? I am not a person who suffers too much in this type of situation, because football is dynamic

"Football is about interests that sometimes as a manager we cannot manage. It depends on many things

Different parties have interests.  "Of course Christian Eriksen is so important for us and you would like to have this kind of player with you

But it's a negotiation with different parties, with different interests.  "It would be fantastic if Christian Eriksen committed to the club for a long time

If not, it's his right to do what he wants to do."   Keep track of all the latest breaking news and transfer gossip throughout the day, right here at Mirror Football

Tim Burton: The Superficial Director | Burtonmas, day 7 - Duration: 17:08.

Princess: Let's just say we're not really excited for "Dumbo."

[♪ Electronic Remix - Beetlejuice Opening Title ♪] Pee-Wee: "You don't wanna get mixed up with a guy like me."

"I'm a loner."

"A rebel."

Wilbur Wonka: "Let's see what the damage is, shall we?"

[tv switches off]

Scrivener: Welcome everyone, to the last day of Burtonmas!

[whispers] Sorry it's late.

We decided to do this project for a couple of reasons:

Tim Burton's popularity, the upcoming live-action "Dumbo,"

and the fact that we were both big fans of his when we were younger.

[snorts]

P: We wanted to see how he held up to the ghosts of past and present hype. So how did he do?

Now that we've reached the end of this series, what have we learned about Burton's filmmaking style?

When you have a distinctive style as a director, people are more likely to remember your body of work.

Wes Anderson, Michael Bay, and Quentin Tarantino all have very recognizable aesthetics.

A lot of people like them not necessarily because of what they have to say,

but because they're easy to visualize.

Tim Burton's films work the same way.

S: To be honest, we're not really sure how or why Burton became a director in the first place.

He didn't go to film school, something he is very proud of;

instead, he went to CalArts and studied Character Animation.

Which makes a lot of sense when you look at his earliest work: his drawings.

P: Burton has been drawing since he was a kid, and while he has an appreciation for it and animation,

he HATED being an animator when he started at Walt Disney Studios in the 70s. If you know Disney history,

you know that this period is called "The Dark Ages" and it was a particularly bad time to be in the animation department.

Hostile work environment aside, Burton couldn't relate to the projects he was given (like "The Fox and the Hound")

and he didn't have the patience for the grueling work that hand-drawn animation requires.

S: Despite not being cut-out for a career as an animator,

Tim Burton is still an artist who channels his ideas through visual means, most often character designs.

He has a distinctive, gothic-but-safe style that is well- received by people who aren't used to gothic imagery.

It's what makes his films so recognizable and popular because the superficial is about as far as they go.

While Burton knows how to design a character and has an idea of what they're feeling or going through,

he does not know or care about what it takes to tell a strong narrative.

Never having interesting or fresh concepts (at least in the beginning)

or being able to tell a good story isn't his issue.

But since he focuses mainly on evoking an emotional reaction through his designs,

which are important but ephemeral elements in a longer story,

he can't usually sustain these ideas for much longer than the sum of their parts.

A lot of his movies suffer, especially in the second act,

because so much more effort is put into the way things *look* instead of the way things *happen.*

P: So it actually makes a lot of sense for Tim Burton's work to be featured in so many different art galleries

and in shorter form. These formats are probably the ideal medium for his approach.

I talked a little bit about his short form already, but if you look at the two videos he's directed for The Killers,

there's a blend of story AND his typical aesthetic that actually works.

The format of music videos doesn't require complex stories with endless depths,

unless they're meant to be viewed in a longer form.

The story can be and often is told directly through visuals as well as lyrics, which benefits an artist

like Burton *because* he can rely on his aesthetic to get a point across. He doesn't have to attempt to entertain

an audience for more than a few minutes, and because lyrics don't have to be as straightforward

as a movie script to begin with, he can easily tell a story out of order or in no order at all, and it can still work.

We're not saying that Burton's inability to write a compelling story makes him a bad director.

You don't have to speak a language to understand it, and you don't have to be capable of writing

a full-length story in order to recognize the parts that make it a satisfying arc.

But directors *should* have this sense of story, and Burton just doesn't.

S: As Paige said at the beginning of this series, "Batman" is kind of a mess narratively.

The characters just wander around and do some things occasionally, and then the movie ends.

"Beetlejuice" has a similar problem.

I don't know if you've watched it recently, but it's…

[cautiously] not a *great* story?

It has an interesting idea of what the afterlife might look like,

and there are some ingredients thrown in there that could make a more compelling story

about the Maitlands and Lydia becoming a family. But it doesn't quite come together.

P: It's very episodic. The middle especially just feels like a showcase of Burton's death gags,

biding time until it can get to what is honestly a really great finale.

It's full of tension, the stakes are high, and it's emotional.

But it's not really worthy of the rest of the movie.

You probably remember what the middle of "Beetlejuice" looks like, but not why it happens.

[tepidly] I know I do.

S: It's not Burton's job to write the screenplay, but it is his job as the director to elevate it to its full potential,

or to notice when there's a lot of nothing happening in the middle.

Making something visually interesting is only a part of making a good film.

To be a good director, recognizing what makes a good story is a requirement.

P: Have you ever noticed that Tim Burton rarely makes films in contemporary settings?

Of the 19 feature-length films he's directed:

1 is set in the future,

2 are set in the year they were released,

8 take place solely in a quantifiable by-gone time,

2 take place both in the time they were released and in the past,

and the remaining 6 are what we call "anachronistic mishmash."

This means that there are both things that indicate contemporary style and life,

but also very noticeably incorporated designs from other decades.

S: But I think I know why Burton likes anachronistic mishmash more than contemporary:

some of his favorite movies do the same thing.

Classic monster and horror movies are frequently set in a gothic fantasy version of the past,

while also incorporating more modern concepts and imagery the contemporary audience would've felt attached to.

Burton is especially attracted to a gothic fantasy edition of his 1960s childhood.

But while most films are set in the past to explore, comment, or subvert the established notions of

that particular iconography or time period, Burton uses them because he just likes how it looks

and makes him feel.

He's been asked before about the influence of German Expressionism in his work and why he draws

inspiration from that particular era of film,

[slighly amused] but he doesn't actually seem to know what it is.

That's not something that everybody needs to know,

but HE probably should considering his job.

P: This is why we're not especially impressed by his preaching pride of having not been to film school.

Even if you don't need a film degree specifically to know what German Expressionism is,

you should probably like…

[chuckling] maybe look at the genre critically to know why it means something to you?

S: Burton doesn't understand why choosing to employ a certain style matters.

He essentially just recreates a slightly eerier version of suburban Burbank over and over again

because it's what he knows.

P: The only time that Burton gets close to saying something original about an era of history

is in "Edward Scissorhands," which is very inspired by teen slasher movies.

It's trying to comment on the fact that the monstrous- looking Edward is a sensitive individual,

while the suburb's golden boy is a totally selfish creep. The components are there,

but like the found family story in "Beetlejuice," it's not fully executed.

S: Not including his short films, I want you to see if you can guess how many of Tim Burton's works are original ideas;

that is, they're not based on a pre-existing property that Burton has given his own spin to.

I'll even give him "Corpse Bride" and "Franken–

P: Yeah, no. I'm not giving him "Frankenweenie."

All credit for "Frankenweenie" goes to My Girl Mary, - [Sarah snorts, clicks tongue]

as far as I'm concerned.

Sorry not sorry.

Mm-mm.

[Sarah snorts]

S: Well,

just to be nice, *I'll* include "Frankenweenie," and "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

I know he didn't direct it but he did come up with the characters and story.

So it's five total.

"Beetlejuice," "Edward Scissorhands," "The Nightmare Before Christmas," "Corpse Bride," and "Frankenweenie."

[For Paige's benefit] If you're counting "Frankenweenie."

Which means 15 of the 19 films he's directed are based on pre-existing characters, people, or stories.

P: I think a lot of people don't realize that the majority of Burton's films aren't born from his own imagination,

but are simply reimagined in his aesthetic.

For someone who has never seen anything like it before, it's going to seem very edgy and original.

While he has given us some semi-original ideas and stories over the last 30 years,

he's mostly just regurgitated other people's stories.

As Robbie Collin put it in his review for "Miss Peregrine's Home" in The Telegraph:

[vintage radio altered voice] "His 18th film may not be an original Burton creation, but the fact it's been adapted from a young adult novel

that was described on its release as 'Tim Burton-esque' suggests that the director's creative wanderings

have become a perpetual, air-conditioned traipse around the Pop Gothic Discount Barn,

without a breath of risk to ruffle the routine."

P: We'll be getting the next Burton-directed film this spring,

a live-action reimagining of Disney's "Dumbo."

[clicks tongue]

So far neither of us have been that impressed by the trailers.

"Dumbo" is a story about a non-verbal young elephant who is picked on for having a physical abnormality.

So it's not surprising that Burton would be the one to direct this particular live-action Disney endeavor.

S: Something that made the original 1941 movie unique was that the story is told from the perspective of various animals,

and doesn't rely on humans for pathos

and JESUS it's effective! Even editing this scene on mute made me cry!

[pained] Aaaghh

So what does Tim Burton do?

Humans!

[fake cheeriness] It's the story of the HUMANS!

Dumbo is the pet.

Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool.

[weakly] cool

And Colin Farrell is cripping up as an amputee.

[disgusted whisper] awesome

[sarcastically] Problematic disabled rep?

In a Burton film?

No!

Not in Macklemore's America!

You know, we already have a movie about human angst at a circus featuring elephants?

P: And one where Danny Devito plays the ringmaster at a circus, but he…

[slightly disappointed] probably won't be a werewolf in this one.

S: "Dumbo" hasn't come out yet. It could turn out to be really creative and innovative

–stranger things have happened–

but there isn't a lot of reason to think that it will be.

P: When you trade in nostalgia as frequently as Burton does, it's usually because you have something to say about it.

In actuality, he has frequently stated that his body of work doesn't have any deeper meaning

than what's on the surface, that he's just trying to make an audience feel emotions.

Not any *particular* emotions, just…

emotions.

S: He also equates thinking about story or meaning as intellectualizing it,

and he places intellect against emotion.

As though critical thinking or analysis is entirely detrimental to the creative process,

and that a story with emotion can't possibly survive such a process.

[vintage radio altered voice] "I've never verbalized that aspect of working.

I've chosen, and I choose, to protect it, in an intuitive way and not an intellectual way.

I don't want to hear what it is I do or I don't do, or start to analyze that too much."

"I'm very wary of analyzing it too intellectually. I find it gets in the way of the more spontaneous,

which I prefer to be if I can. If I start to think too much about it, it's not good."

[slowly] S: So I guess Burton doesn't think about what he draws either.

He just…

lets the pencil go to town.

He never thinks about the meaning of his art or what he's drawing.

P: But we know that that's not true either!

He doesn't like it when people call his films pretty.

[vintage radio altered voice] "I don't like when people say of my movies, 'Well, they look nice.' I'm not an interior decorator.

Do you want me to come over and do your apartment?"

P: You cannot have it both ways.

You can't get angry when people don't like your art not having meaning

("because it's art and shouldn't *have* to have meaning!"),

and also be upset when people say your work is pretty and doesn't have meaning.

What you really mean is you're upset that people don't find your default message of

"being an outsider sucks" satisfying, especially after 30 years.

S: The suffering of the "outsider" is the only message Burton's work ever has, except for "Big Fish."

He's interested in this narrative because it's how he feels about himself

and he thinks that weirdness is the pure source from which all oppression springs.

But he's completely unaware of how bigotry and systemic marginalization affect our concept of weirdness.

Edward's shyness and gestures aren't considered weird because they look silly or whatever,

it's because they're behaviors associated with autism.

The titular young boy of his 1982 short "Vincent" is adorable and everything but

he can only get away with wanting to be just like the villains Vincent Price plays

BECAUSE he's a little white boy who doesn't look like the monsters found in movies.

P: We've managed not talk about Johnny Depp at all throughout this entire series,

and we weren't really planning to.

But we should, just for a second.

Tim Burton and Johnny Depp have not worked together on a film for several years.

We don't know why;

maybe they finally realized that their routine was getting very old.

And all Tim Burton has ever said about the domestic violence allegations against Depp

is that the press can be misleading and that he loves Depp.

[aside] That was disgusting why did you make me say that.

I bring this up because Burton might do his best to ignore the way his art intersects with real human issues,

but it's not something you get to opt out of.

By refusing to engage with it, you still send a message, it's just one that you don't care.

Maggie Mae Fish said it well in her video about finding meaning in Burton's work:

[vintage radio altered voice] "I hate to break it to Charlie, but no matter how hard an artist or entertainer tries to claim their work

isn't political it simply means that they're ignorant about the politics it perpetuates."

S: In the previous video, I cited an interview where Burton said he didn't care about his art making people feel seen.

However, after that video went live, I found this profile from the New York Times,

and it's only fair that I share this:

[vintage radio altered voice] "The thing that I care about most — that you did something that really had an impact on them.

It's not critics, it's not box office.

Things that you know are connecting with real people."

[cheerily] S: So that's nice! He did change his opinion 20 years later.

We understand why people like him. His movies are often fun and he seems soft-spoken but grounded,

modest, and just generally accessible in interviews.

But people can act this way and still be bigoted,

and even if it's in a way others might deem "casual," Burton definitely is.

At the very least he is fatphobic and racist.

Fat characters in Burton movies are greedy and untrustworthy.

He believes that characters of color should only exist in his movies if they're serving a specifically racial purpose.

It took him 30 years to have a Black person in a leading

(not supporting)

role.

That's embarrassing.

And no,

being a nice person does not absolve him of that.

P: Burton's movies are as white and straight as they are by choice.

And maybe he can never make great films because of this.

Great art challenges your notions or asserts humanity,

makes you consider the world around you and see from new perspectives.

It enriches your life in long-lasting and meaningful ways.

Burton's art…doesn't,

at least not beyond the vague idea of just "having a positive impact on someone."

S: Do not misunderstand us: having watched most of Burton's work and listened to many many interviews,

we do not necessarily want him to make films with diversity in mind.

[chuckles] He would be very bad at it!

Would it be great if Burton suddenly became genuinely woke and made an effort to tell more diverse stories?

[stressed] Yeah!

His films reach a lot of people!

It would be nice if he actually did something brave with that power.

P: But frankly, we don't need Tim Burton to give us that.

There are much better filmmakers who don't view having characters who are Jewish or Black

or both as a political statement that needs justification the way Burton does.

Tim Burton clearly knows what he's doing on some level and it would be silly to not acknowledge that.

He's an incredibly successful filmmaker with a very devoted fanbase.

But you know why his films are so commercially successful?

Because he knows how to make art that LOOKS heavy, but is divorced enough from any kind of revolutionary

meaning that the average American family doesn't think twice about going to see the next Burton family film.

S: What Burton sells is the *fantasy* of being an anti-establishment nonconformist.

But because he's made a handful of darkly comedic, unique, entertaining movies,

people give him a lot more credit than he deserves.

To be fair, that isn't really HIS fault.

And he has some thoughtful principles about making art.

But he'll probably never be the visionary genius auteur that people think he is,

just the fine, *weirdly* conventional filmmaker that he actually is.

P: There's no doubt that Tim Burton's got some captivating ideas and the occasional gorgeous

film under his belt, but until he takes some actual risks,

pretty is all they'll ever be.

Both: Thanks for watching.

[electronic music] ♪

P: [sighs] That's too simple, Sarah. You're supposed to say, like, "We'll see ya soon."

[aggressively] "See ya real soon!" That's a thing we say now!

This video is partially

it just looks like this so when you open up the app its gonna load so this is my

as well so I follow like tony bianco a ritzy a' and a couple other girls so you

on it and ask some questions or share it to your own time line so it is kind of

like a social media platform almost and you can see lots of cute clothes and

there's a search feature say if I wanted to search like denim jacket and my

profiles over here so these are items that I currently sell on my closet I

have a ritzy a leggings on their Lululemon some Nordstrom goodies so if

you guys have been interested in seeing like my closet and you want to shop some

of the stuff that I put up for sale I would highly recommend checking out

Poshmark my username is at Christine leave for ease it's the same as all of

my social media it's such an easy way to reorganize your closet and also get

money for things that you already have I'm planning to list these Lou

lemon leggings that I have and these are the wonder unders and the attack is

still on them so these are brand new I haven't even worn them and I have tons

of stuff on there that I'm going to list today so make sure you follow me on that

if you haven't already anyways enough about Poshmark I know some of you guys

are gonna ask but this Heidi is actually my boyfriend's Hedy and it's from the

store called oak NYC but I actually did outfit this hoodie in my lookbook put

everything in the description box on the makeup and I'm wearing all the clothes

so anyways enough about the chatting let's go ahead and get into the look

okay so these jeans that I'm wearing are from Levi's these are the 501 skinnies

in the style can't touch this and I did get this in a size 27 but they did

stretch out a full size so I wish I would have gotten a size 26 but I love

the way that these students look I love the way that they fit and the little rip

details are so fun I feel like it's a really great Jean for styling really

casually and as well as dressing up so I love these jeans I love to wash them and

I paired it with this cream hoodie from oak NYC and like I said in the intro

this is my boyfriend's hoodie you pick this up from the store oak here in LA

this hoodie is oversized so I did kind of scrunch it up just so that it has a

more crop fit also I'm not wearing a bra so excuse that but I love the color of

it and is steal your boyfriend's hoodie season so I paired this outfit with my

Nike Air Force Ones and I don't know why it took me so long to get these shoes

but I literally wear them every single time I'm wearing like non skinny jeans

and I want a more casual outfit these are just fit so great and I feel like

they help elevate this outfit and make it have a more street style look to it

next I have this coat from Babbitt on I picked it up for Moretz yeah it's just a

really great coat it's kind of a more heather gray color but I love the slits

on that just some nice thick material and it's great for dressing up any

outfit especially in the winter when it gets a little bit colder I love how long

it is as well and I feel like layering it over any type of outfit just makes it

look a little bit more high-end and chic then I have my white long-sleeved tee

also from Moritz yeah this is from the brand Wilfred free is a little bit

longer so I do like to tuck it into my jeans and it is really form-fitting so

it almost gives it a bodysuit type look which I really love next I paired this

outfit with these white booties that I picked up from public desire and I

believe these are the salt booties and it's in the white faux leather material

and I love these booties I never thought I would wear white booties but I

actually wear these a lot more often than I thought I would and it just

really goes with a lot of outfit it helps just to make the outfit look a

little bit more sophisticated this is the IMG a pixie tote that everyone and

their mother has I love this coat and I think I paired with the booties it

really helps to elevate the look and make it look a little bit more dressier

and it also helps elongate my legs especially with this coat being so baggy

and chunky and oversized I just want to wear something that helps make my legs

look a little bit longer just because of coke kind of chops off my legs and makes

me look shorter so I love the way that this outfit pairs and especially with

the wash of the denim I just feel like all the colors really go along together

and it's just a really great casual look that is a little bit more dressed up if

you want to like take it out next I have these jeans from inside denim and I

actually picked them up from a boutique here in LA I just love the way that

these fit they're super high waisted and they just fit my body so well I feel

like they're really flattering on me but I am wearing my Air Force Ones again

with this outfit especially with the jeans being a little bit more of a bag

ear fit I just like pairing chunky sneakers with jeans that are not as

skinny so I really like the way that my Air Force Ones look with these and it

just gives her a really treat style type flag which I really like and then paired

with the jeans and sneakers I have this bodysuit that I picked up from fashion

Nova and I am wearing a strapless bra underneath just because the thickness of

the bodysuit it's not super thick so you don't want to risk my nips being seen so

you can kind of see that line on my strapless bra but I love this bodysuit I

wear all the time I love that it's a straight neck across feel like it's

really flattering especially on a small chested gals just with some layered gold

jewelry just make we look expensive you know next I have

this coat from Uniqlo and is a bomber that I picked up a while ago and I got

it in the size extra small but I do wish I got it in like a small or medium but

this bomber fits me really nicely it does have an inner lining so it's super

comfortable and warm I just really like the crop fit of this jacket also in

waterproof every time I go out and it is raining I do like to reach for this a

lot especially with my chunkier shoes and my baggy pants I just like pairing

badger bottoms I just like to pair it with tighter crop tops so I like how

this pairs with the outfit especially with the bodysuit so excuse the lighting

it is a little bit washed out I'm filling in my garage and the lighting is

not the best next we have a little bit more of a dressier outfit and I have

this blouse from Orencia and it's from the brand Babbitt on I love the little

mesh detailing on it because just makes it look more of a fancier tank and I

like wearing this if I'm going out or if I know I'm going out to dinner brandon

loves his top on me is a little bit long so I do have it tucked into my jeans and

I paired this look with these booties that I got from public desire and these

are the salt booties if you guys follow me on Instagram I wear these booties all

the time I just love the shape of these booties and the big chunky heels just

make these so comfortable I also love the pointy toe to them too these are

super comfortable and I wear them all the time I love that it's more of a sock

bootie and it comes so high up so I didn't even tuck in these jeans I kind

of desert these booties up over top I wore that same sweater slash coat again

from a ritzy ax I just like the length of it and how it looks together with

this whole outfit and again you can kind of see my jeans are just ruching around

the booties gives you a really laid-back cool girl look like you didn't put too

much thought or time into your outfit but again you also look really put

together and cool I'm just in love with this outfit I love the way that this

long coat again takes it to the next level and I say that all the time but I

just love how all the proportions work out just makes me look super tall and

expensive

next we have a more office where appropriate outfit and I have this

button-up from Uniqlo that I wore in my office wear essentials video and I love

this blouse is a little bit sheer so I would wear like a beige or skintone bra

underneath you can kind of see my black strapless underneath but I do have it

tucked in just because I want a more cropped fit I paired this look with

these jeans that I have from AG denim and these are their skinny jeans I

forget what they're called but I'll link it down in the description box but I'm

just in love with the way that these fit I feel like they're so flattering on me

scent my waist perfectly and I love the crop fit and I love how there's a

detailing on the edges of the denim I paired these jeans with these shoes from

me too and I was sent these shoes I am in love with them and I just love the

color and I love that it's slightly more of a pointy toe flat these loafers just

look really expensive in high-end they're super comfortable and inside

there is like a plush lining that makes them super comfortable so I can wear

this all day in the office walking around and going to appointments and

they're just the most comfortable shoe and perfect for the office I love the

nude color and yeah I just love how these shoes kind of tie in the look and

make it look more office casual and then over top I have that same coat from

Orencia if you have any type of long coat it'll work if you guys watch my

office wear essentials I have my three piece rule I feel like it's so essential

to making an outfit look next-level and more sophisticated so I just like

throwing any type of long coat over top of the denim and button up especially if

it's like a Friday and you're allowed to wear denim I just love the way that this

looks

finally we're gonna keep this button up on but I'm going to untuck it and then I

have my sweater that I wore in my winter fall lookbook from a ritzy ax this is

from the brand community I believe I just kind of rolled up the edges so it

gives it kind of a cropped layered look and you can see the blouse peeking out

which i think is super cute and I just love all the colors and how they tie in

and yeah it just makes it look really sophisticated and really great also if

you wanted to wear this to the office it's more of a casual then I paired this

look with these booties that I got from Thursday boot Co and it wasn't these

booties but I am in love with them I feel like these are the most

high-quality booties that I own and they are expensive but you are really paying

for what you get these are not overpriced like a lot of designer

booties are but they do remind me of like the rag-and-bone booties and it's

just a really high-quality suede I did get them the size six and a half but I

would actually size up because I fit really tight but it's just a really

flattering bootie I love how the ankle comes up a little bit higher and it just

really helps to elongate my legs this alpha is really flattering on my body

type with the Box peeking out underneath it just makes it look so sophisticated

and I love the brown tones mixed with the white and the denim and here in LA

it's not super cold but if you live in an area that it's a little bit colder

you can throw a long coat over top and I'm just showing you guys my same orbit

ciick oh I've been wearing just love the way that a long coat looks over top I

just am in love with this coat again and I'm wearing it throughout this whole

lookbook because it goes with everything and I just love this look it actually is

super comfortable as well especially with all the sweaters on top is just

super warm and you don't look too frumpy I love how the jeans and the blouse

underneath kind of refine the look and with the booties as well it just makes a

really nice casual look that you can wear to the office or wear out during

the day so anyways that is it we've come to the end of this video I hope you guys

enjoyed this look book if you did first make sure you thumbs up this video and

let me know down in the comments what you'd like to see next if you want to

see more look books from me if you want to see me style whatever five different

ways something along that theme let me know down the comment and I'll leave a

link description box to download the app if

you guys don't already have it and yeah it's just such a great site and again I

use the app all the time I've sold tons of clothing on it and it's just a great

way to get rid of some of the clothing that you don't already wear and get a

little bit on money for it yeah I hope you guys enjoyed and I will see you guys

More is not Better - Duration: 0:58.

More clients is not always the solution to growth

This might confuse you, but stick with me.

Having more clients is generally what most people say to me is

their biggest problem. "I want more clients." The trouble with more clients is

it's more client relationships to manage. If you've got five good clients, that's

fairly easy to manage with one person. As soon as you go to 10 or 15,

very difficult for one person to manage more than five people meaningfully at any

given time. So if you're looking to scale your business and you think that more

clients is the answer, think again. More clients creates more headaches and you

have to have a bigger team in order to manage them and give them the level of

service they want, need and expect. So you've got to think carefully about that.

Do you want more clients really or would you like to do more with the clients you have?

More on that in another video

Asia Cruise Vlog: Day 1 Yokohama Embarkation - Duration: 24:46.

Today's vlog from Diamond Princess is brought to you by CruiseLine.com where

you can find reviews tips and photos from real everyday cruisers

good morning and welcome to Yokohama port we're here we're so excited

yesterday we flew 5,700 miles from California to Tokyo and we enjoyed

Chinatown it was so much fun we wandered the beautiful neighborhood and had some

dinner tried to get acclimated to the new time

zone as much as possible which meant staying up to the equivalent of like

something like 2:00 or 4:00 in the morning our time but then we all crashed

and had an incredible night's sleep and now we are getting ready to go embark on

Diamond Princess which hopefully you can see behind me we had an amazing morning

really great breakfast included with our our hotel night at the hotel Monterey

here in Yokohama can't say enough good things about that hotel it was really

reasonable about two hundred dollars for our stay breakfast for the whole family

they had kind of it eats east-meets-west breakfast so if you were looking for

eggs and bacon and omelette you could have that or you could have a completely

Japanese breakfast we're having a ton of fun our son is learning how to say some

very basic words in Japanese so this morning while I was getting ready the

boys went over to the park and he was talking to everyone think konichiwa

konichiwa everyone here is so incredibly friendly we're just falling in love with

Japan in under 24 hours they cannot wait to get a little bit more of it so now

we're gonna make the walk to Osanbashi port and try to get on the ship it's a

little bit early it's only about ten o'clock but we're gonna give it a go

anyhow

well we made it inside the Yokohama cruise terminal it's a beautiful place

very civilized experience we walked from our hotel all the way here it was maybe

a 10-minute walk we saw a lot of other cruise passengers coming and going so we

kind of knew we were going the right way the whole entire time and you can see

the ship the whole time so it just felt really comfortable as soon as we got up

the ramp a porter grabbed our luggage and we walk right hand side and we were

given a boarding letter so now we're just inside waiting it's about a it's

about 10:40 so really probably a little bit too early to board but we're just

going to go explore the inside of the terminal right now because it looks

really cool this is a very modern facility with just a ton to go check out

so let's go see what's happening around here

I just have to show you guys the side in the restroom I've heard the thing in

Japan that when you're in a Western toilet they show you how to not use it

as a squat toilet check this out

oh yeah we're back in the mini suite it's been so long our favorite cabin

category on princess by far yay we're on board it's 1209 and we're

in our stateroom this is dolphin deck mini suite D 209

this is a portside balcony deck 9 and all we're going to do is show you around

the room really really fast we will do a normal well more professional I guess

you could say room tour later but we want to just give you a little essence

of what a mini suite is like come on out and we'll give you a look at what's on

this balcony there are two chairs that basically recline and one big table and

tons and tons of space and if you let's take a look up you can see that we're

fully exposed to the rest of the decks this ship has the old-fashioned wedding

cake design kind of the tiered design but you have to come take a look at how

gorgeous the the cruise terminal is over here so beautiful there's an area for

the public to come and there's grass and benches and places you can just lounge

and relax it's so modern and so beautiful so this right here is just the

main sitting area so you've got a little coffee table and I think this is

a sofa bed for our son and then one of the hallmark features of a mini suite is

that there are actually two televisions so there's a couple of them I'm going to

move this so you don't hit that mr. cruisetipstv one of them for the sitting

area and one of them you can view by the bed and then there is a kettle in here

which is really cool and a couple of litres of water and then they have these

cute little tea cups right here little green tea cups so they'll be so nice to

be able to make tea in our room I've never seen that before on a ship and

then we have our little sitting area right here our first days newsletter is

ready for us to check out and then the most amazingly cozy looking bed I've

ever seen super plush and then we'll walk over here and I'll show you the

closet and the bathroom really fast

okay closet is super spacious there are tons of wood hangers if I had to guess

I'd say there's at least 30 Wood hangers in here and I'll take a look at the

closet lots of space we can just slide our

packing cubes in here and a standard four-digit code safe life jackets for

the muster drills and then last but not least we'll take a look at the bathroom

our favorite part of the cabin because it has a bathtub but then there's also a

fun little surprise inside. Mr. CruiseTipsTV I'm just going to go in

there show them the bathtub and then check out

y'all the Japanese toilet there are full controls just above that tissue which

we'll show you in more detail later but now we are going to go and see if Izumi

the spa is open for a tour it was the luxury to be let into our room at the

very early hour of noon so we checked it out and we are now headed up to a tour

of Izumi which is the Japanese bath one of the very distinctive features of this

ship the reason that we want to go and do a tour now is because I'm afraid

cameras may not be allowed in later because of the nature of it it's a kind

of a spa area and sometimes during certain hours it's my understanding that

people go nude so I'm sure that they don't want cameras in there so we're

gonna go see if they'll let us look around and get some

footage for you guys

this is so exciting we get to take a tour all by ourselves so this is where

you pick up your slippers you have some hand sanitizer here okay and this right

here is a relaxation area here

and this is the locker room in here so you can put your clothes in here put

your slippers on you're required to wear special slippers before you go into the

outdoor area come on around and we'll show you the locker room they have

little instructions for how to operate the lockers right here all right let's

see what's next

towels here so they want you to wash thoroughly before you enter the outdoor

bathing area

all right so off to the right we're going to show you where the showers are

that you wash before you enter and this is actually the indoor area so these are

the showers right here

and then as you can see there's two large baths right here and then if you

keep going right this looks like a sauna you come on into the sauna come on

beautiful ocean view

we're gonna continue on to the next room

you hiding over there

okay smaller bathing areas here and then on this side it looks like there is an

aromatic mist sauna here this one is looks like it is a scent of green tea

and lemongrass today but it sounds to me like that can be changed it's probably

too steamy in there to go inside but at least we'll try to get a look so so good

it definitely smells like lemongrass now over here there's a really fancy shower

you have three different settings for the shower there's a cascade a top

shower and side showers okay this is the outdoor area that we were talking about

the co-ed area and this particular area is totally unique to Diamond princess

this is designed for the Japanese market

so beautiful

and this is the private relaxation area that is part of the Japanese bath which

you can buy passes to

oh hi so I want you to see the Kai menu because I don't like raw fish and I'm

just curious if they only have sushi or if they have other Japanese I dunno than

it looks like everything is all a carton so you can get you carry sushi it's the

sushi or little combinations and then they

just have a few like appetizers and then they have one food on so if you don't

want raw fish your choices are pretty limited

we made it just in time to the international dining room for lunch it's

a little secret that you should know about Princess Cruises

thank you is that you can not only go to the buffet but usually you can go to

some kind of a main dining room on the first day as well which is really nice

so we've just sat down and ordered a few things I ordered chicken cacciatore have

you got the salmon and son made me cover my ears when he ordered because he

wanted to surprise me so we enjoyed our spot tour and after this we're gonna go

check out the kids Center welcome to camp discovery we just came and got our

son all signed up well he was already registered online before the cruise but

we stopped by and met the staff we met a wonderful teacher here her name is

Kotomi and she's actually from Osaka and she got to meet our son and tell us all

about the schedule so tonight at 7 o'clock they're doing lanyard making for

the kids so interestingly enough they are open on day 1 from 7:00 to 10:00 so

I don't know how we're gonna kind of finesse that with dinner but it does

sound really fun and my son is already really at ease here so I think jr. is

gonna be loving the kids center on this cruise I don't you say how many kids

there are on board so far I've only seen like two but I would imagine because

it's a little bit of a longer cruise there won't be many but looking forward

to it and really really impressed with the camp Discovery area here we had just

enough time for a pre muster swim and cocktail and now we've decided to do

something a little bit different and we're gonna go to the muster drill a

little bit early the sound of the muster drill alarm kind of bugs my son when

we're in the room so like let's just go we'll get there a little bit early and

see if can get a good seat in the princess theater kind of really good day

so far it's actually been a little bit more relaxed than usual for us relaxing

dinner and the excuse me dinner ahead of myself relaxing lunch of the main dining

room now we're just off to business and then

sail away party at five

my thighs are burnin man I'm out of shape these stairs are killing me anyway

the muster drill was uneventful they have a perky new announcer who

definitely keeps you awake and they play The Love Boat theme it's just really

funny it's way more comical than it used to be so anyway now we're going to the

sail away party it's a pitch black outside it's 5

o'clock and we're gonna see what kind of crowd we have on the pool deck

Jr stayed a camp discovery for about 45 minutes tonight we would have stayed

longer but we had to pick him up for dinner Camp discovery is open on

mr.keshe from 7:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. we drop him off right when they opened and

then picked him up in time for our 7:45 seating here at the Savoy dining room

it's a very pretty dining room really dark cherry wood colors it's very

steakhouse ish oh but I wanted to show you guys what he made at camp discover

each night the kids had a kind of a lanyard exercise so he made a lanyard

for his cruise card that he can wear and throughout the whole crew is really

excited and you got a chance to do that so after dinner tonight we're not too

sure of what our plans are big day tomorrow even though we don't have a set

excursion booked we're going to be in Shimizu which is our first port in Japan

on this cruise not counting our embarkation party and if it's a sunny

day we might just get to see Mount Fuji so our plan is to wake up whenever we're

ready kind of tickets low gets breakfast and then walk around at the port of

Shimizu and see what surprises are out there for us you're still here if you

liked what you just learned and you want more tips like this we invite you to

check out our step by step cruise course the cruisetipstv Academy as you're

New Diagnoses [CC] - Duration: 11:12.

Hey guys, so I am actually terrified to make this video and I don't really know

why...so first to distract from that, let's look at my outfit I'm wearing a dress

it has a petticoat and a top hat it's great and I love it!

OK, as some of you probably know because I think I mentioned it, besides

struggling with physical chronic illnesses, I also have some mental stuff

going on. I have already kind of addressed this but if you didn't know I

have been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and major depressive

disorder for... I think I got the diagnosis is diagnosed these two years ago maybe,

but I've definitely had them for longer. Recently however I have gone back into

therapy and I got to new diagnoses so yeah, hi I'm Meg, I'm 21 and I have PTSD

and ASD. Yeah okay I want to reiterate here that these diagnoses are nothing to

be ashamed of I just feel a little bit awkward because I am still not quite

used to broadcasting all of my health issues onto the Internet... even though

that is the entire point of this channel which is why I am making this video. So,

let's get on with the acronyms because if you are not someone who is into

mental health or knows anything about mental health you might not know what

those mean. First off, PTSD stands for post traumatic

stress disorder and I've got the National Institute of Mental Health

website up here on my iPad so I'm just gonna be reading some more scientific

definitions and things like that I'll link it down below, but if I keep looking

down that's why. So PTSD, post-traumatic stress disorder: The

overview thing says PTSD is a disorder that develops in some people who have

experienced a shocking, scary, or dangerous event, it is natural to feel

afraid during and after a traumatic situation fear triggers may fear

triggers many split-second changes in the body to help defend against danger

or to avoid it. This fight-or-flight response is a typical reaction

meant to protect a person from harm. Nearly everyone will experience a range

of reactions trauma yet most people recover from initial symptoms naturally

those who continue to experience problems may be diagnosed with PTSD

people who have PTSD may feel stressed or frightened even when they are not in

danger... hmmm looking at the signs and symptoms of PTSD it says you must have

at least one re-experiencing symptom, at least one avoidance symptom, at least two

arousal and reactivity symptoms and at least two cognition and mood symptoms.

Re-experiencing symptoms include flashbacks, bad dreams, and frightening thoughts.

Avoidance symptoms include staying away from places, events, or objects that are

reminders of the traumatic experience, avoiding thoughts or feelings related to

the traumatic experience. Arousal and reactivity symptoms include being easily

startled, feeling tense or on edge, having difficulty sleeping, and having

angry outbursts. Cognition and mood symptoms include trouble remembering key

features of the traumatic event, negative thoughts about oneself or the world,

distorted feelings like guilt or blame, and loss of interest in enjoyable

activities. Obviously I experienced most of these which is why I got the

diagnosis. I'm not going to go too deep into it because this is pretty personal

for me... I have actually experienced a fair amount of trauma in my life. I

personally think the initial PTSD was triggered due to repeated emotional

abuse but I can't say that for sure and I would rather not go any farther into

it so... I'm not. The other diagnosis I mentioned is something I'm much more

comfortable talking about: ASD is autism spectrum disorder, so

autism. I don't know why I keep going yay... but wait yes I do I suspected having

both of these disorders for years but to finally get confirmation just a few

weeks ago honestly was pretty nice. So autism spectrum disorder let's see if

I can sum this up so according to the dsm-5 which is the Diagnostic and

Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, people with ASD have difficulty with

communication and interaction with other people, restricted interests, and

repetitive behaviors. Symptoms that hurt the person's ability to function

properly and schoolwork in other areas of life. It is a spectrum disorder

because there's a wide variation of the type of severity of symptoms that people

occur...wait, that can occur or that people experience, my apologies. Um

signs and symptoms: People with ASD have difficulty with social

communication and interaction, restricted interests, and repetitive behaviors so

these ones I'm actually just going to read the ones that relate to me because

there are a lot and I don't want to read all of them. So social communication

interaction behaviors may include making little or inconsistent eye

contact, failing to or being slow to respond to someone calling their name or

other verbal attempts to get attention... this happens sometimes, because of the

PTSD I also have an increased startle response so basically I will either not

hear you calling me repeatedly if I'm reading or something... or I will jump out

of my skin and possibly scream so that's fun. Having difficulties with the

back-and-forth of conversation, often talking at length about a favorite

subject without noticing that others are not interested in or without giving

others a chance to respond, having facial expressions movements and gestures that

do not match what is being said, having an unusual tone of voice that may sound

singsong or flat in a robot... robot-like... Fun fact, those past two I only noticed

when I started making videos. So I would make a video and I would think

that I was emoting properly and showing, you know, emotion in my voice and in my

face and then I would go back to caption the

video and realized that my voice sounded fairly monotone and that my face didn't

really show expression and I'd be like... well that's something. Restrictive

repetitive behaviors may include repeating certain behaviors or having

unusual behaviors for example repeating words or phrases of behavior called

echolalia, having an in lasting intense interest in certain topics such as

numbers details or facts... if you ever want to know anything about foreign

languages or world religions I am your girl! Ah let's see here getting upset by

slight changes in a routine, being more or less sensitive than other people to

sensory input such as light, sound, noise, clothing, or temperature. If you ever go

to a movie with me I will habitually pick a seat that is on the edge of a row,

close to a door, because when I was a child the sound used to physically

hurt me so much that I would have to run out of the theater. I actually spent a

really long time being terrified to go into movie theaters because of this,

because it hurt too much, basically. People with ASD may also experience

sleep problems and irritability. And although people with ASD experience

challenges they have many strengths including being able to learn things in

detail and remember information for long periods of time. Fun fact, I used to be

able to recite parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows from memory. Being

strong visual and auditory learners and excelling in math, science, music, or art. I

guess I'm making this video to just try and show that you can have these

disorders and still be quote unquote normal or live a healthy life... I am going

to school, I am an adult, I'm living on my own etc etc. There's no reason to be

ashamed of it... I know I'm acting kind of awkward in this video and, well, that's

because I am awkward, but if you have any disorder any mental disorder or physical

disorder don't... please don't in any way feel like you have to feel ashamed of it.

I mean sure autism makes things hard for me sometimes like really hard but it's

also pretty cool that some of the stuff I can do I'm not gonna

I'm pretty cool mm-hmm mm-hmm no seriously though,

um it's weird, but it does give you talents and I don't think that should be

discounted. And for those of you without ASD, PTSD,

GAD, MDD, any other of the plethora of mental illness acronyms out there, I urge

you to think about people that have them as people and not just the disorder

because I think it's really easy to try and classify someone by shoving them in

a box and saying okay they have autism that's it, that's all they are, and I

think I'm a good example of someone to say that that is not in any way true...

that you can have one disorder, you know four disorders, you can have, hell you

can have ten disorders, I don't care and you're... you're still a person you know

you're not just a label or a bunch of labels that make up person, if that makes

sense. You know that meme that's like I'm not a person I'm five mental illnesses

in a trench coat... that's not true you are a person, you know, you have your own

likes and dislikes and so do i and so does everyone and this doesn't make

sense, but I'm real vulnerable right here right now so excuse the lack of...

coherency. I'm trying... I guess what I want to know is what do you guys want to know?

What kind of videos do you want to see from me, now that it's a new year? Do you

want more EDS videos, more POTS videos, more autism videos, more mental illness

videos in genera...?l Do you want more fashion videos because clearly my

fashion is on point? Do you want um... I have a video coming up about dungeons

and dragons really anything you want just let me know in the comments. Like

and subscribe if you want. I hope I'm interesting enough that you

would want to and as I said in the description I will link the site

that I was reading from the mental health site I'm completely blanking on

the name, but yeah I hope you had a great New Year's and whatever winter holiday

you celebrate if any and I will see you guys soon. Bye!

Peyronies Disease - Duration: 5:00.

Heads up before the interview starts. I want you to know that I made a

downloadable ebook of the transcripts of all 11 videos in this fascinating Dr.

Charles Runels interview series so you could capture every single detail. If you

look below this video on your phone, you'll see a little triangle on the

right that opens when you click it to reveal the link to get the book, plus a

PDF copy of Dr. Runels book, 'Activate The Female Orgasm System: The Story of O

Shot' emailed to you, and if you're on your computer, look for text on the left

under this video that says 'show more' and the link to download both books will be

there. Now on with the show. Hi, I'm Susan Bratton, your trusted hot sex adviser, and

I'm here with Dr. Charles Runels and we're talking about Peyronie's Disease.

Peyronie's disease really affects more men than you can imagine and I'm so

pleased to talk to Dr. Runels about the solution that he has which is called the

P Shot or Priapus shot. So would you describe a little bit about Peyronie's

for a set for guys. Do I have it? Do I not? And then talk about the

P Shot and how it supports healing. So first of all, the suffering that

happens with the Peyronie's can be pretty intense and life-changing because

what happens is the penis becomes bent because of fibrosis. That happens in

the connective tissue that surrounds the actual erectile tissue of the penis.

The tunica albuginea.

It's pretty thick, but it

can have an auto-immune response either from trauma or

sometimes unknown which causes it to become thicker on one side than the other, which

causes it not to be straight and if the bend is too much then

it can be painful and also mechanically impossible to insert in the vagina.

So now he's unable to make love which is

horrible for a relationship.

So it's really a difficult problem and the solutions are not so good

either because if you do surgery on that, the process is still there. You can

remove it but it could come back at a different place.

You could scar it some more. You're going to possibly be left with erectile

dysfunction if it goes wrong, and the penis is going to come out probably

shorter than when you started. A shorter penis that

will not get erect is not such a good outcome. Because of that,

the urologist will do it, but it's really not their favorite surgery. And

so the solutions have not been so good surgically. Now non-surgically, there's a

new FDA approved injection called Zyflex which is collagenese, which is

basically a liquid surgery because by injecting collagenase into

that scar, you dissolve it, but if it dissolves too much, it again fractures

and you have a limp penis again. And the cost of that is $15,000. Well we

now have research showing that using our platelet-rich plasma with our P Shot, it

actually works better with fewer side effects than Zyflex because

the reason we tried it of course is PRP has been used for many years to

help with scarring, at least 10 or 15 years in the orthopedic and dental with

research. And so by injecting the plasma into the penis, those stem cells

come in and they remodel that scarring and we have a really high success rate.

Now nothing's perfect but we have over 70% of women or men who are happy with the

outcome and the side effects of platelet-rich plasma is that you get a harder

erection versus the collagenase or the surgery

where the side effects are the opposite. Did you want to say something else? I was

going to say make sure that you watch the video that we did specifically about the

P Shot and how it works and what the procedure is like and all of

those things so you get more information. Just suffice to say that you have a

much better alternative than you ever had if you think you're suffering from

Peyronie's, and if you want to know where to go

to get a doctor who can do these injections, you can go to... Do you go to

OShot.com for that? For the Priapus Shot, it's www.priapusshot.com

Ans then there's

the www.OShot.com. The O Shot is the

Orgasm Shot for women and that's the same PRP in the woman's clitoral

structure. So be sure you watch those videos too and we'll see you on the

other side.
