My Beginner Workout Routine & Tips | Day 1: Chest Triceps & Shoulders - Duration: 6:21.

What is going on everybody welcome to my channel my name is drew I hope y'all

like that little edit at the beginning I had a lot of fun making it I just it's

my first edit this is my first video I've ever made so a lot of YouTube

tutorials all shot on my iPhone and I had a lot of fun doing it so let's get

right into it today's a chest tricep and shoulder workout all push movements all

upper body and as you saw in the first scene I like to kind of hop in the sauna

just the first five minutes especially during the winter months just to get

nice and warmed up nice and lubricated make sure all my joints are ready to

go and that's kind of what I'm doing here too with my rotator cuff so once I

head into that chest workout I don't snap my sh*t up so here we go

chest press hammer strength same thing I just did a warm up on here so I can

start putting some blood into the muscle and starting that base for the rest of

the workout keep your shoulders retracted on that bench keep your feet

flat and planted on the floor so you can really feel it in your chest it's also a

great thing about this machine in particular versus a traditional chest

press is that there's less emphasis on the shoulders which means more chest

activation and so 4 sets, 6 to 10 reps up the weight whatever you can do

to get 6 to 10 reps generally six to twelve reps is the best rep range for

hypertrophy or muscle mass so yeah we did four sets of that and then here I'm

just doing a little modified chest press with the bungees don't worry if you

don't have this it's not crucial to the workout I just don't have it at my

college gym so when I'm back in town like for Christmas break imma spoil

myself a little bit also this is fast as hell I tried to make this condensed so I

can make it straight into the point but it's pretty damn fast so if you need to

reverse and pause feel free so yeah next one I did a warm-up on the decline bench

press this one's kind of weird at first for beginners there's a little bit of a

learning curve I just probably because you're hanging off the f*cking bench but

once you get used to it this is actually one of the best movements for chest

growth you're activating most your muscle fibers specifically the ones in

your lower chest so control that weight make sure

you're not throwing it around it's less about weight and more about controlling

it so you can tear as many muscle fibers

which leads to muscle growth so then we go into the incline dumbbell press 3

sets 10 to 12 reps really control that weight find a weight that you can get

those reps at and this is kind of the form I know my form isn't perfect y'all

for all like the fitness experts this is something I just like doing in my

free time because it's a way for me to relieve stress it's a therapeutic outlet

for me and after I had brain surgery my freshman year of high school I was 115

pounds and I was tired of being the skinny guy so it's kind of become just a

lifestyle for me in a way not to the point where it like takes over my life

but to the point where I'd like to get in there four to six times a week so

here we go to the cable chest fly 3 sets 10 to 15 reps

god damn I'm long as hell but just ignore that fact and try to keep your

eye on the form this is also a great workout and then I just finished with

some close grip push up burnout just to really focus on burning out that chest

and tri so went next to the standing shoulder press we're gonna do 3 sets

of these 6 to 8 reps probably gonna have to go a little bit lighter

than you usually do if you've done this movement before because a lot of the

chest movements you do you utilize your front delts so probably pretty gassed

by now so then we went to the side lateral raise 3 sets of this 6 to

10 reps make sure you're really focusing on keeping that kind of pulling

through your elbow as well as keeping your shoulder blades pinched and

retracted and this is actually a workout that I saw a lot of people doing when I

first started working out but I didn't know the importance of it once I started

implementing these side lateral raises into my routine I really started seeing

a lot of growth within those shoulders also I'm sorry I sped this up y'all you

really want this to be a slow movement and more controlled

that way you'll facilitate more tears within the muscle fibers leading to more

growth and so here we went to the assisted tri-set dip this is utilizing

your front delts or on your shoulders your chest and triceps and what you

don't see in this clip is actually a weighted assist kind of helping me push

up on the bottom this is good for beginners too if you can't do a dip yet

and if you want to get higher reps so then we went to the rope tricep pushdown

make sure your elbows are planted next to you still a lot of people make the

mistake of moving their elbows and that leads to shoulder activation which isn't

what you want to do in this workout you want to focus on the triceps and here's

me going at the speed of f*cking light so ya finish out that 3 sets

10 to 15 reps and for the final movement we have the seated overhead

tricep extension 3 sets 6 to 10 reps for a nice little burnout make sure

you keep those elbows still so you can really focus on that tricep stretch and

pump all that blood into the muscle and that's it 45 minutes to an hour spent

inside the gym couple times a week get in get out and live yo beautiful life

23 Things You Missed In Escape Room (2019) - Duration: 7:37.

Each one of the rooms the characters encounter in Escape Room has an intended solution.

But if Breath of the Wild has taught me anything, it's that there are often more than one

possible solution for any given puzzle, and I don't think they always found the intended

path.

Stick around to the end of the video if you want to hear the real solutions for these

rooms.

Welcome back to Things You Missed and Happy New Year 2019.

I've got an exciting week packed with content for you this week and to kick it all off,

we're going to be covering some of the hidden details and their meanings in the first horror

movie of the year: Escape Room.

Let's start with the beginning of the movie.

The opening shot pulls out from a chess board.

You're probably thinking that this is a microcosm of the entire movie being a chess

match against the creators of the game, and the participants are just trying to become

the last piece standing.

There's actually a little bit more to it than that.

When Zoey heads back to her dorm after class, there's a poster advertising a chess group

meeting at the college.

That might be where she gets some of her deductive reasoning skills, because I spotted a chess

piece in her room.

But it wasn't just any chess piece, it was a King, and if you've ever played Chess

you know that the King is the one piece that must remain standing in order for the game

to continue.

So when Zoey faked her death in the hospital themed room, I knew he hadn't heard the

last of her.

But that's not the only clue left in the opening scene, the flash-forward of Ben's

final test.

There is also some Latin text printed on the top of the wall near the ceiling that says

Acta Est Fabula, which roughly translates to "The Play Is Over" or "The Performance

Is Over", a clue that the entire game was created for entertainment, which is explained

once Ben reaches the final room.

That's not the only clue towards the game being an entertainment trail for the super-rich.

We are first introduced to Zoey at her college physics lecture.

Her professor brings up the phrase "A watched pot never boils", and explains how that

may actually be true under the Quantum Zeno effect in which observation stops movement

in atoms.

Zoey's plan for getting out kind of mirrors that effect, she smashes every camera in the

room so she's no longer being observed, then passes out and waits for the cleanup

crew to come around so she can take them out and escape.

After that lecture she has a little chat with her professor, who tells her that reducing

variables won't change the outcome.

At the time it's more of a reference to her life choices of being an introvert, but

you could also apply it to the game and say she's doomed to eventually lose no matter

what.

The name of the company who runs the Escape Room is Minos.

The logo of this company is explained in the movie, but the name is not.

It goes back to ancient Greek mythology.

Minos of the first King of Crete who commanded that seven young boys and seven young girls

be sent into the Labyrinth, a giant maze structure that houses a minotaur, with the intention

that they be eaten by the Minotaur.

In other words, the company being named Minos should have been a huge red flag that the

seven contestants were not meant to survive.

Seven seems to be a recurring number throughout the movie as well.

In addition to the seven contestants when you add in the guy introduced into the game

at the winners room, there are 7 rooms and the clue in the second room is a 7 letter

word.

Seven, of course is considered a lucky number, and the winner of each game is considered

lucky to be alive.

When Zoey and Ben meet up again after getting out alive, they get lunch together on St.

Patrick's day, which is often considered to be a lucky day.

But let's go back to when the contestants all meet.

Amanda, the redhead girl, reads a newspaper headline about 5 people being found burned

alive.

I would theorize this is from another iteration of the game, or a beta testing of the game.

The waiting room turns out to be the first trial room, the giant oven.

Anyone who's played Ocarina of Time should have figured out how those weight sensitive

pedestals work, but it didn't click for them until it was almost too late.

The obvious intended solution was to fill up the cups with water and place them on the

switches, however, they didn't have enough water because Amanda drank some of it, so

they ended up using some liquid that Ben had in a flask.

They also could have had someone pee in the last cup, or place literally any heavy object

in the room on top of the cup, but they were lucky enough to have the flask on hand.

So they moved onto the inside of the cabin, where they needed a 7-letter word to advance.

If you don't remember the word was "Rudolf".

There were three clues in in the cabin and Ben was able to figure it out having only

found two, the text that said YOU'LL GO DOWN IN HISTORY, which to be honest should

have been enough on its own.

The other clue they saw was the reindeer mantles.

Again, probably should have been enough on their own.

But they didn't seem to notice that the camera in this room is the only one in the

game with a blinking red recording light, which could have also tipped them off as a

clue pointing to Rudolph's shining red nose.

After solving that puzzle, they move onto the ice level.

It start with them finding the jacket, Zoey gets to wear it for a bit, and she discovers

the compass with the text, True North is a lie.

This is actually the same compass seen hanging from her mother's pocket when she later

has the flashback to the plane crash that killed her family AND the brand of the compass

is Stanley, London and London happens to be the location she buys the plane tickets to

in order to try to infiltrate Minos at the end of the movie.

Meanwhile, Mike gets distracted by the Husky dog, which matches the description of his

old dog that he told everyone about when they are all in the waiting room.

This leads him to find the fishing rod in the tree.

The compass leads to the magnet and the magnet goes on the bottom of the fishing rod to help

them find the ice box with the key.

This is where the intended solution is a little bit unclear, and I don't really buy that

they are supposed to use the warmth of their hands to melt the ice.

I do have a theory though.

There's one object that is never used, the thermometer.

Maybe they are supposed to break open the thermometer and spill out the mercury on the

ice block.

I looked it up, and I guess Mercury is not flammable, but in the presence of water it

can become explosive.

This is assuming that they don't lose the lighter, which they do when Danny falls through

the ice.

If you're an expert on chemistry, let me know if that would actually work, because

honestly I have no idea.

They also could have potentially started a fire using branches from tree, so there may

have been more than one solution there.

Next room is the upside down 8-Ball Room, where the song 'Downtown' plays over and

over on repeat.

Everything they need to know to solve this puzzle is in the lyrics if they had only stopped

to listen.

"Just listen to the music of the the traffic in the city."

It's literally telling them, stop and listen to the music first.

"Linger on the sidewalk where the neon signs are pretty.

How can you lose."

In this case, the "sidewalk" is the area on the sides of the room, where the floor

isn't falling away and the "neon signs" are the color coded puzzle which corresponds

to the numbers on the balls of the pool table.

It's telling them if they study these signs, they won't lose.

"Downtown, things will be great when you're downtown."

This line is a bit trickier, but basically it's telling them to go down, but since

the room is upside-down they really need to go up, and that's where Amanda finds the

safe.

"When you've got worries all the noise and the hurry seems to help I know.

Downtown."

This just lets them know they have limited time to solve this room.

"Don't hang around and let your problems surround you there are movie shows.

Downtown."

Amanda ends up hanging from the telephone wire, and the problems that surround her are

the bottomless pits on each side of her.

I mean, not bottomless, but you know what I mean.

She sits there and "hangs around" and ends up paying the price for it.

"You may find somebody kind to help and understand you.

Someone who is just like you and needs a gentle hand to guide them along."

The other contestants literally offer Amanda a helping hand when she's hanging there,

but she doesn't take it.

This movie is absolutely filled with other possible clues, so if you caught anything

3. That's not very nice! City captain Vincent Kompany was perhaps lucky to stay on the pitch after his ugly tackle which crudely stopped Mo Salah running though on goal in the first half

What Kompany is alleged to have said to Salah after kicking him was even cruder

Twitter user Elliot Hackney shared a short clip which seemed to show Kompany calling Salah a p**** while the Liverpool ace lay on the floor

Injured left back Benjamin Mendy likened John Stones to cartoon character Inspector Gadget after the City defender produced a dramatic goal-line clearance

After Liverpool forward Sadio Mane had struck the post at 0-0, Stones attempted to hack the loose ball clear but kicked it against goalkeeper Ederson which very nearly resulted in an own goal

But Stones stretched back incredibly to clear ball properly when it was all but 11mm over the line

To make things even more remarkable, Stones managed to thread his clearance through the legs of Salah, who was trying to bundle home from close range

On Twitter, Mendy wrote: 'That gogogadgeto save from Stonesey is absolutely incredible'

Referee Anthony Taylor had a fairly busy evening as he booked six players. But fans on Twitter joked that he should have shown himself a yellow card for diving after the man in black took a tumble inside the Liverpool penalty area during the 50th minute

There was clearly no contact. Was this simulation? Jurgen Klopp pulled out a bottle of water from his pocket and shook it in celebration after Liverpool scored their equaliser

City boss Pep Guardiola also used a prop while showing emotion as he furiously yanked off his scarf and threw it to the ground in the closing minutes

Guardiola's fury appeared to be sparked by his belief that City should have been awarded a free-kick in the build-up to a chance which saw Salah go close to making it 2-2

How I Use My Bullet Journal to Be Productive Minimalist Bullet Journal

so I like to plan things out by week each week I have what I call the title

page so this is the title page for January 21st through 27 and since one of

my goals for the year is to get into better shape I broke down that yearly

goal into more smaller and bite-sized goals for a month so getting into better

shape for me means planning out what I eat so this is a meal planner drinking

enough water every day so this is a water tracker exercising so this is an

exercise tracker I also have various tasks and things that I have to do for

work and appointments for the kids so I put that here on my task list or the

title page I like to have everything that I need to get done during the week

on this page I would go ahead and fill in this page regular bullet journal

spreads didn't allow me to schedule things by time and by day for a while I

was actually looking for a traditional planner but it's still didn't meet my

needs so I decided to come up with this schedule like version of a bullet

journal spread this helps me to do what is known as block scheduling fake

hour-by-hour of your day and fit in everything that you need to do during

that day and during the free time that you have that way you don't waste any

time and you get a lot done the first thing that I like to fill in is my work

schedule so I'm going to do that now work is this peachy color so then I just

take my marker and I fill in the hours that I have to work

take a black pen I draw an arrow along the highlighted area look at my bullet

journal and see what days I'm working I know that I'm off on a 21st

I work 8 to 4:30 Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday I work 12:30 tonight I

go back and I look at my test for the week I'm gonna go to January 22nd and

from 2 which is 1,400 to 3 I have a tea meet bring the arrow out 1 . 1 2 to 3

and then I don't know that's how long my tea meeting is and then I can feel

something in at 2:30 if I have something else at that time so Saturday I like to

treat a little bit differently because I don't have as much to do on the weekends

all I do usually it looks a lot more full and I'm a specific of the tests

that I have to do and the times that I have to do them but for privacy reasons

I'm not going to include it in the video but yeah I basically work off of a task

list and then everything I have to do for that task list I enter it here a

couple other quick tips that help me to manage my time is I do not go on social

media a lot of times we can get caught up just scrolling and we can miss manage

our time like that another thing is if I want to get something done I make sure I

write it down if I don't write it down it's not gonna get done I'm not going to

do it if you manage your time well then you can get the things that are

important to you done another thing that is huge for me is I wake up pretty early

but I feel like getting up early is a game changer you lose so much time

sleeping in you know you can really get a lot done in that in a few more hours

in the morning that you would spend sleeping and I also try to get to bed at

a decent time so 9:30 is a pretty good bedtime to me and I feel pretty rested

throughout the day you I don't really have to think about how I'm going to do

the layout because it's the same every single week how far out you can go when

you know you already know the layout pretty much I already started planning

February with hearts and I do notes page and expenses page and then I start my

weekly title page off with whatever design I want or if I don't feel like

doing a design I don't but I just go ahead and do my schedule leo so I hope

My Two Graduate Children Don't Have The Money To Buy Cars, Says Peter Obi

Peter Obi, vice-presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), says two of his children who are graduates and are already working do not own cars yet because they cannot afford one.

Speaking in Agulu in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State during a lecture organised in his honour by Agulu Peoples Assembly on Thursday, Obi said his children still board buses and tricycles for public transport.

He explained that even though "some people don't like it", this will not change as his children must make the money to buy cars for themselves rather than expect him to buy for them with his own money.

"I have two graduates who are working, a boy and a girl, and the two of them don't own any car because they haven't made enough money to buy a car," he said.

"They were here for the Christmas, and I was talking to some people about them and the person said he saw my son and that he always jumps on buses and tricycles.

"Some people don't like it that way. They believe I am rich and that my children should not be trekking, and that they should be provided cars. But I believe they do not have the money, so they have to trek.

"Who will give them cars — is it me? My money is my own, so they should work for theirs. Obi described himself as incorruptible, saying he wasn't contesting to make money but to join in the building of a better Nigeria.

"I have been five years out of government, and no one has come to say any one naira was missing in government under my watch. EFCC can come and probe me if they like, I am not afraid," he said.

"I am not here to campaign to my people because I come from here and you know what I did in Anambra. Just give me the opportunity and we will change Nigeria, and the country will start working again.".

Man, 24, who was one of three people who died in house fire when jealous boyfriend 'shouted 'no one else will have you' before stabbing two others and killing himself in blaze' which two women survived

A boyfriend shouted 'no one else will have you' before killing his girlfriend, another man and himself in a New Year's Day house fire, it was claimed today.

Police are said to believe the two victims may have been stabbed - and their chief suspect also died in the blaze at the £350,000 property in Kirton, Lincolnshire.

Billy Hicks, 24, has been named today by former colleagues as one of the three killed in the New Year's Day blaze, as reported by The Sun.

Detectives were thought to be investigating the theory that a love triangle could have triggered the bloodshed before the blaze took hold from about 3am.

The home was owned by former pub chef Paul Edmunds and his wife Donna, both 54. They are said to have moved to Ilfracombe in Devon last year to run a hotel.

But a source told the Daily Mail that police are investigating whether a suspect found dead in the house was involved in a love triangle with two other victims.

Lincolnshire Police confirmed a 27-year-old woman and two men aged 24 and 32 had died. They are yet to be formally identified and no arrests have been made.

One source named Fabio, 18, whose friend's relative knew the woman victim, claimed the fire was started by a boyfriend 'furious that he had been cheated on'.

He said: 'I've heard the guy found out he had been cheated on and went into the house with a jerry can of fuel which he set light to.

'There was a New Year's party going on and it was after most people had left that all hell broke loose. He told his girl: 'No one else will ever have you. I'll make sure of that'.'.

Fabio added that a house guest who jumped to safety told police and a few neighbours about the 'relationship crisis.

He said: 'The guy who started the fire was absolutely mad when he found out hid girlfriend had cheated on him with someone he knew.

One survivor, Natalie Hall, 21, is thought to have escaped after jumping from a top floor bedroom – and only suffered a leg injury.

She later wrote on Facebook: 'I am fine, just a few minor injuries on my legs from where I jumped out of my bedroom window.

'I am very lucky to be alive which is more than I can say for my wonderful friends who were taken away that night. My condolences to their families.'.

Friends have also already started fundraising for those involved in the fire as investigators comb through the wreckage of the home.

Another survivor was Rachel Braim, whose friends set up a JustGiving page and said she was 'obviously traumatised and has lost all personal possessions'.

One friend said: 'Rachel was able to get a housemate and eventually herself to safety. Despite her efforts, three died in the fire.'. Rachel Braim, a Police Community Support Officer, is also thought to have survived the fire.

Talking about Miss Hall's escape, neighbour Lewis McGarry said: 'She jumped out of the top window to escape the fire and hurt her foot and may have even broken as she landed.

'She was in a lot of distress pain and me and my friend were trying to console her.

He called the emergency services before running to the ferociously burning house two doors away – and described the heat as 'so hot and intense'.

He said: 'It was impossible to get into the house. The fire was massive and it was shocking - and we could hear voices screaming 'help me.' '.

Lewis had just got back home from a New Year's Eve celebration when he heard 'a massive bang' at about 3. 15am and felt the house shake.

He said: 'I thought something had fallen down upstairs so did my mum but when I pulled back the blinds I saw a cloud of smoke and a reflection in the house opposite of huge flames.

'I called the emergency services then ran to the scene. I didn't panic but stayed calm. I'm used to dealing with beach incidents from my work as a RNLI lifeguard.

'I was with a friend and we could hear the screams of people trapped inside. Then we saw this woman on the ground outside who told us she had jumped and been screaming for her life.

'She told us something significant that had happened before the fire but police have told us not to repeat it. 'I didn't know the woman, I think she lived in the rented house with room mates.

'She looked as if she had been our earlier because she was still wearing a black skirt and top and has three glow sticks hanging from her neck.

'The police were there within five minutes and fire brigade a few minutes after wards. I don't think it's quite hit me yet what happened.

'We couldn't stay in our house that night because we were told it may not be safe but it's since been checked.

Witness John Holland, who lives opposite the property, said: 'I could see flames shooting through the roof. There was a lady in the downstairs window.

'Me and this other chap, we rushed over to the front door. I picked up a brick and we smashed the plate glass in the porch. We dragged her through and out.'.

Lincolnshire Police Superintendent Di Coulson said: 'There is one suspect and we believe that suspect died within the property.

She added there had been a relationship between two of the parties involved and 'the incident we believe is as a result of an issue with that relationship'.
