welcome to my channel

today i'm going to show you how to make a simple vertical garden for home

these are the pieces of rain gutter

i'm going to make a vertical garden using these rain gutters and their side caps

it's a rain gutter side cap which i'm using to close the sides

now close the rain gutter sides using gutter caps

painting the rain gutter pieces

prepare the rope to hang the rain gutters

after paint dried

i'm going to mark the points in this rope to make knots

making the knots in marked poits

these knots will hold the rain gutters so i just make the strong knots

making drainage wholes using hot iron gun

potting the plants

i just mix 50%coco peat and 50%sand and some compost for potting

then fill the soil mixture in the rain gutters

and then

planting some colorful hanging plants

after planting

add the top layer of stones which will help to keep the soil moist and give beautiful look

hanging the potted plants

watering thoroughly

and then water every two or three days or twice a week

this vertical hanging garden is suitable for indoor or balcony garden

Portuguese tart recipe (Complete guide and tips for beginners) - Duration: 8:48.

In this video, I want to show you how do I make the Portuguese tart.

Surely, this is the channel about Asian food, but Portuguese tart is a popular dessert among

the Chinese because of the Portugal settlement in Asia for the last century, particularly

in Macau.

The way we make it may be slightly different from the authentical Portugal recipe, but

this is the version that you can find on the menu of most of the local Chinese cafes.

Let take a look at how to make it.

Making the pastry

Mixing: Place the flour and butter in a mixing bowl.

Mix until well blended.

Dissolve the salt in the cold water.

Add the salted water to the flour and mix until a soft dough forms.

Remove the dough and let rest in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

Cream the butter and flour in another bowl.

Put the butter on a plastic sheet.

Fold the plastic sheet to a rectangle.

Roll the butter to take the shape of the wrapping.

Leave it in the refrigerator until it is firm.

Dust the bench lightly with flour.

Roll the dough to a rectangle about 3 times of its width.

Make the corners as square as possible.

Place the butter on the dough.

Fold the third without fat over the center third.

Fold the remaining third on top.

Fold all ends and corners evenly and squarely.

Keep it in the refrigerator for a while if it is too soft.

Turn it 90 degrees on the bench so the width becomes the length.

Beat the dough lightly so the butter is evenly distributed.

Roll the dough into a rectangle.

Make sure the corners are square.

Roll smoothly and evenly.

Do not press down when rolling.

Brush excess flour on the surface.

Fold the top edge of the dough to the center.

Make sure the corners are square and even.

Again brush off any excess flour.

Fold the bottom edge to the center.

Fold the dough in half like closing a book.

And then, refrigerate the dough.

Repeat and give the dough another 3 folds.

Lastly, roll out the dough into a square.

Roll it up like making a swiss roll.

Keep it in the refrigerator for later use.

Cut the pastry crosswise into sections about 25 g each.

Press it down with your palm to form a disc.

Place it into the mold Use the finger to shape it.

For the fillings.

Mix the milk, cornflour and sugar together.

Heat up until the sugar is melted and the milk starts to thicken by the cornflour.

You can also add a small piece of cinnamon stick to add some flavor to the milk, while

you are cooking the milk.

Add a small amount of the milk to the beaten egg slowly,

Add it back to the bulk of the milk and combine.

Got through a sieve to remove any impurity.

Fill up the tart molds.

Bake at high heat is necessary.

Preheat to oven to 250°C/480°F. Bake for 16 to 18 minutes.

Check out the doneness during the last two minutes to ensure the tops are blackened in

spots.

Best to eat while it is still crispy.

That is how I prepare the Chinese style Portuguese tart that is popular in the Asian cafe.

How to Start A MODELING CAREER - Duration: 5:00.

Hey, what's up guys, welcome back to my channel today what I want to discuss is how to get started in the modeling industry

Also, I have an e-book that I want to give you guys

So stick with me to the end of this video and you're going to get something special

Alright guys

So the very first step into getting started in the modeling industry is that you have to know

What type of model you want to be? Are you a fitness model? Are you a plus-size model and your petite model?

Are you high fashion? Are you runway? Are you commercial prints etc?

You must know what category you fit into so that way you can concentrate your efforts into those categories of modeling

Once you figure out what type of modeling you want to get into and what best fits your features

The next thing you want to do is to get your feet wet

So whether it's doing some trade for prints

you know collaborating with photographers to build their portfolio, and you're also building your

Portfolio or whether it's working with designers to do some shows maybe even for free

Whether it's going to open calls and castings just so you know what it feels like and even if you get rejected

That's okay because this is part of the industry

Getting that experience is very important because it's gonna make you more comfortable

When you get represented and you're ready for some real work, and that would increase your booking ratio as well

The third step into getting started in the modern industry

Is to find an agents now if you guys remember step number one I said step number one is to know what type of model

you want to be this is very important because

When you go out to agencies, you want to make sure that you're going out to agencies that represents your category

So for example, if you're a fitness model or your commercial print model

You have no business going to an agent's that only represents high-fashion models because you're likely going to get rejected

You're gonna waste your time. You're gonna get embarrassed you're wasting the agency's time. So it's just not a good look so know

What type of models the agency represents know if it's the right fit for you before you go in?

for those of you outside the United States the best way to get started in the modeling industry is to look up some

Competitions some local competitions or some big international competitions one that comes to mind is Elite Model Look

Elite Model Look is a model competition that takes place in 30 countries around the world

This is one of the best ways to get discovered as an aspiring model

This is gonna give you the most exposure to and get at this stage of your career

So Elite Model Look if they're in your country, make sure you try to participate in this year's

competition

Elite Model Look is actually responsible for discovering supermodels like Gisele Bundchen Jourdan Dunn and some others

So again, if they're in your country make this an absolute must try to be in the next competition submit apply

I'm gonna leave a link in the description box down below where you can apply for it the last tip

I want to give you guys is to make sure you dedicate some time for your modeling career

Because modeling is something that's very time intensive

You're constantly traveling you're going on go-sees you're going on open calls, especially in a short notice

So if you have a full time job or if you're still in school

This could be something that can be very demanding on your schedule because a lot of times

Agencies were demanding you go to open calls and castings on a very short notice and they expect you to be there

without any excuses

So you want to make sure that you have a flexible schedule whether you're working a part-time job is somewhat flexible

Or you have a flexible school schedule, or maybe you are taking a time off from school

Make sure you have that dedicated time to focus on your modeling career because you're kind of doing this half in and half out

You're really not gonna get much out of it. So go for it's dedicate your time and just do it
