Youtube daily report Apr 16 2018

Hello guys, welcome back again

the locks I have for you today are two LIC padlocks

it is a Spanish manufacturer

but I've tried to find information from this manufacturer, and I have not found anything

I do not know if it is a manufacturer that no longer exists, if it is a small manufacturer

that has a very limited distribution, or if it is the second brand of a larger Spanish manufacturer

but I have not managed to find anything

These two padlocks are used

I have not seen anywhere that sell new

this one seems quite modern

but this one is seems older

I don´t know the age, but probably it is from the 90s

they are easy to pick

but they have spools, and they are very funny to pick

this also that is uncleaned and unlubricated

has a very bad feedback and it may be a little hard to pick

let's try the opening of the two and we see what happens

in this one, the keys are not original

I show you the biting

nothing spectacular

practically all the same depth except the first one that is very short

but as I say, they are fun to pick

let's start with the smallest that is the newest

It is very clean and has a very clear feedback so easily opens

Let's do it

I'm going to use this homemade wrench on the top of the keyway

and in this case I will use this Peterson pick

a hook that is very thin and flexible, with which you work very well from below

The keyway is wide as you can see there is no problem to work

Let's try

from front to back

medium tension

first nothing, second is binding

make a click third is binding

setting the third one, it falls in false set

fourth si binding

there it is, it's a spool,

we set it

first is binding,

it gives counterotation

and when setting it,

the lock opens

an easy picking

It is a good padlock for those who are starting in lockpicking sport

and very funny

As you can see, this one has square section cuts, we'll see how the other one is different

let´s see with the big one

this may be somewhat more difficult

because it is very dirty, very very dirty inside

let's try, I'll use the same wrench

but I'm going to use this other pick,

that Tobias and Jullian sent me, is more rigid

and it gives me more control over the pins

let´s see, first nothing, medium tension

second nothing,

the third, seems it´s binding

there it is, make one click

fourth one click

fifth is binding

it gives counterotation

there it is, we set it

first nothing, second nothing,

third nothing, fourth one click

fifth nothing

first nothing, second

third is binding

make one click

fourth one click

fifth nothing

I go for the first, first nothing

second, touching the second the false set go deeper

let´s see, first, the first is binding, gives counterotation

we set it

second is binding

there it is

and setting the second

it opens

it is similar to the other, it hasn´t too much complication

but yes that being very dirty has a very bad feedback

and it may give some trouble

as you can see, this one has the cuts in wedge shape, in the other one it was quadrangular shape

apart from that there are few differences,

just something in the letters

in this one you can read "hardened" on the front part, in the back of this other one, practically does not read

some beautiful padlocks

hard to find

and of which I would like to know more, if someone has more information about the manufacturer, I would appreciate your commenting

Well, this has been the opening of the two LIC padlocks

I hope you liked it, that it will be useful

and thank you very much for your time, bye

SCHIRN INTERVIEW. RICARDA ROGGAN - Duration: 3:32.

What interests me in photography or about the means of photography

is combining spaces and installations.

To put up things in spaces in such a way that they come into their own

and use photographic means to document what I have built.

That's also how it all started: I always tried to convey something.

I didn't just want to show things in rooms but what else may be there.

HOW DID YOUR WORK EVOLVE?

I entered this small room crammed with tables and chairs.

It was the room where the workers of the Leipziger Baumwollspinnerei went to vote.

The hustle and bustle had left these rooms.

They were unused and deserted.

Their awkwardness, their in-between state, their dustiness and lack of use.

My interest was sparked by a gap.

I felt something and took the furniture out of the room and into mine

which contained something.

My room gave them what photography can, which is a kind of eternal quality.

I put a final question to them:

"Right. Here you are, chair and table. Tell me your story!"

HOW IS YOUR WORK STRUCTURED?

It's a triptych, three pictures hanging side by side.

They are interdependent and inseparable.

That's because they are part of the same scene.

It's set up so that if they overlapped they'd merge into one.

They'd produce the same picture, that crammed room that I had seen.

WHAT CAN THE AUDIENCE EXPECT?

The pleasant thing about the pictures, in my view,

is that they don't demand anything of you.

They don't want to convince you of anything.

They don't argue in favour of a thesis or illustrate an idea.

Nothing of the sort.

The fact that they leave you in peace is crucial to me.

Especially when you think of today

because most things demand something of you.

You constantly have to do something.

DOES THE WORK HAVE A POLITICAL MESSAGE?

Works can develop of their own accord.

Perhaps some underlying factor sneaks in.

You're not aware of anything and suddenly, 15 years on,

the works become relevant of their own accord.

But it's actually wonderful

that there may be a relevance which was not previously evident.

HOW CAN ART BE POLITICAL TODAY?

We need to redefine things. Times have changed.

People don't carry banners around anymore

and shout out their opinions to make them known.

Perhaps the political needs a new form.

A new relevant form that comes across differently.

If art wants to be part of this, it also needs new forms.

Russian President Vladimir Putin Vows 'Consequences' Over U.S.-Led Raid In Syria. - Duration: 2:09.

Russian President Vladimir Putin Vows 'Consequences' Over U.S.-Led Raid In Syria.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has vowed "consequences" will follow from U.S.-led airstrikes

in Syria, a "targeted military action" designed to cripple Bashar al-Assad's chemical weapons

production.

CNBC reports that Russia, which opposed both the coalition airstrikes and the suggestion

that Assad deployed chemical weapons against his own people in a catastrophic attack last

week, took — of course — to Facebook and Twitter to announce that it was considering

"unspecified" action in retaliation.

Russia claims, in the statement, that it is being "threatened" and that it has already

planned a response.

The war of words, the Associated Press reports, got even more heated in person.

According to the AP, an "unnamed" Russian official went so far as to call President

Donald Trump, "Hitler," and suggest that, like the German dictator, Trump was making

a mistake in starting a land war in Asia.

Trump "can be called Adolf Hitler No. 2 of our time — because, you see, he even chose

the time that Hitler attacked the Soviet Union," the official told the international news service.

The international community called the U.S.-led airstrikes "quite measured," but any attack

in Syria is still a risk.

In the years since former President Barack Obama first drew his "red line," the stakes

in Syria have changed.

Both Russia and Iran have an interest in propping up dictator Assad, with Russia now so entrenched

in Assad's battle against revolutionary forces (which include ISIS), that they've lost a

number of soldiers.

Trump seemed to indicate Saturday that his campaign of airstrikes was over, tweeting

the words, "mission accomplished."

what do you think about this?

IT IS BACK! - Glow in the Dark, The Return! - Duration: 6:28.

Hello everybody, welcome to a new party vlog

If you're not Dutch, please turn on the subtitles.

Tonight it's time for something different

No hardstyle, no hardcore

Tonight I'm going to Glow in the Dark Return

I've been there before, and I always loved the party

It has been away for a while, but it's back now.

So I'm very curious and excited.

It takes place in one of my fav locations: Maassilo

I even worked behind the bar in Maassilo for a while

So I'm happy yo go back there

I'm mostly intrigued by the Future House area

The line-up is great, especially on that stage.

I'm very curious to see the artists play.

I'm excited, I'm taking you with me, I'll see you there!

That's a great start!

Hi! We're at the toilets right now

You wouldn't be able to hear me upstairs.

We just had a look at the stages, they look great.

Great decoration, and now it's time to dance!

That Mr. Belt & Wezol set is incredibly chill, I love it.

I'm really enjoying myself

I tend to sing along melodies, as I do at Hardstyle parties

but I'm the only idiot here that does that.

Hey everybody, as you can see I'm almost home now

I really enjoyed myself, even better than expected

I think it was one of the best editions of Glow in the Dark I've been too.

Which says enough.

As I expected, I enjoyed the Future House area the most.

At first, everybody was a bit mellow there

But Mr. Belt and Wezol woke everyone up with their set.

I think my fav set was Chocolate Puma's.

I really enjoyed that one.

I have to say I just enjoyed the whole party actually.

The decoration, especially in the middle area was on point

Every time I've been there the decoration was great

Especially in that area

I wonder if that's a Maassilo thing that the middle area

has the possibility to hang things from the ceiling

It just looks really cool, so extra points for that.

So yeah, I enjoyed it.

It was something different from usual for me

I think it was a great party

I'm happy that they are back

The last party from Glow I was a bit confused what happened to it

but they came back with a bang

Extra points for that!

I hope to be there the next edition

Hope to see some of you there as well of course!

So like & subscribe, I'll see you next time

Glow, thanks for having me!

I had a great night, byebye!

Why I Did YouTube - Kris - Duration: 9:28.

Hey friends, Kris Krohn here.Today with Self Made, and today I'm going to share my story

on why I got started on YouTube. How it's brought me success and why I'm doing Self Made with

Grant Thompson.

So few years ago, a man that I knew of a little bit named Nate Woodbury, came in to my life

and he said, "you know Kris, YouTube is like the best kept secret on how to take content

and really share with the world."

And he sat down and he wanted to convince me he said, "okay Kris listen, this is the

strategy on YouTube, this is the trends that I'm seeing, check out some of this examples

of what other people are doing."

And he would make me this videos and he just wouln't go away.

Until finally, I stopped and said, "let's have a meeting."

And we sat down and I started taking a look at what he was doing, and I started quickly

realizing that my mission with my business was to reach many people as possible with

the content that I believed in.

But the problem is this I was always sharing my content in my backyard with backyard people.

And there was a huge limiter there.

Like how loud could my voice really get, I mean I have been on TV, I've been on the airwaves,

radio.

I tried so many different things.

But I wasn't really connecting with my ideal customer.

I wasn't connecting with the people that are part of my tribe.

And at that time my really big focus in life was real estate investing.

It's something that I've had great success and I retired at the age of 26.

I've gone on with my company and did do nearly a billion dollars worth of real estate.

And have just, I've been on this incredible ride, and yet I didn't have a megaphone big

enough to actually share with to people.

So when Nate sat down with me and said, "you know what Kris, you're really limiting yourself.

What if you actually took the knowledge that's in your head, and the passion that you feel

in your heart and you start sharing it to YouTube."

I said , "you know what, let's do an experiment."

And I made a commitment that I was going to jump out there and do it.

And quickly, with the system, this done for you, both video system that Nate had created,

he's coming over to my house once a month.

We're shooting in one day all those content.

And frankly use to do all the work and that had a huge appeal for me.

Because I wanted to focus on building my business other ways.

And I didn't want YouTube to become a distraction because I didn't really know what it was going

to produce for me.

So basically Nate would show up once a month, it's cost very small amount of money to basically

get the entire thing out the door.

And within a matter of time, all these organic subscribers, people started finding me.

Nate was putting together keyword research, I was shooting video something that I cared

about.

And basically my message started getting out there.

I started getting comments and people start finding me and got like, I got so excited

like, "wow this is like the most impressive marketing that I've ever done in my life.

In just a short period of time.

I am making more of the right kind of people than I am just through my local business efforts

in the geography, in the location where I live.

Well if I fast forward a little bit.

A time came when I got really serious about YouTube and once I started putting out more

videos on a weekly basis, we saw a huge spike in my channel engagement.

We stared having a spike in people coming and subscribing.

And all of a sudden, I have this idea you know, in my normal business when I'm done

putting on a live event or seminar, or a sit down to engage people, I let them what's the

options are working with me.

I should do that from my friends on YouTube too.

And so what I ended up doing is I started asking how will you as a YouTuber friend of

fan want to actually engage with me and I thought well, I don't know where you're at

in the world, so it's probably going to be some digital information, kind of like we're

enjoying each other right now.

And I also put on live events so I guess I could invite them to come and get live with

me.

I also have a nationwide service where it doesn't matter you live.

I can help you invest.

And so I decided to put a website together.

And I took all of my marketing, and business strategies that I've learned over the years

and put out a simple website.

And remember the day that I turn it on.

Because it has 3 simple options. It's like, "hey you could take like my ultimate digital

course or you could do my done for you real estate services or you could get live with

me."

And the moment you flip the switch and turn that on, oh my my gosh, boom, boom, boom!

People starts getting in my inbox saying, "I want more, tell me more Kris Krohn", how

can I get with you."

And then I started texting these people like, "hey, I got your request through the website,

yeah it's Kris here."

And some people like, bullblank, bullcrap! there's no way that that's Kris Krohn.

And I take a selfie of myself.

and there's this one guy, he totally doubted that it's actually me.

So he said, "take a picture with you with a spoon in your mouth!"

So I went to my kitchen and like snapped a picture and it came back with all these like,

"no way!" then he sent a picture of him with a spoon on his mouth.

And ever since we've been spoon brothers.

And any way, I just started finding that it is so fun to engage on a much more connected

and deeper level, with all of my YouTube friends and fans.

So you know, it's been really beautiful because what's it's done is it allowed me to say,

"hey I got all these free videos out there that you can join me on with YouTube."

But I've also figured out, I really cracked the code on how to monetize YouTube in an

entirely different way.

And I remember when I met Grant Thompson, we decided to put Self Made together.

Because we had gotten to know each other really well.

He would actually come to one of my personal events.

I put on every month this life changing seminars on personal empowerment.

It's actually one of my greatest and deepest passions in life.

So I got my real estate going on, I got my personal development.

And I got hooked up Grant.

He went out to my event with his wife, had such a powerful experience and we started

exploring, woah he had always want to take his YouTube knowledge and bring it to the

seminar stage, And it was like a match made in heaven so, the more we got to know each

other, the more we start of realizing that he would become really vulnerable and show

me the money he was making on YouTube and I could you not, this is impressive, it's

real.

Like he'll show me his back office and what his income looks like, sponsorships.

And Grant's doing well.

He's making millions of dollars through YouTube.

And then I showed them like eeny bitty tiny little channel, 50,000 subscribers at that

time.

And I showed them money I was making, and he's like, "oh my gosh!"

Like we were comparing worlds, and Grant's crushing, and I'm crushing it but in two totally

different ways.

And we've decided to team up and say, "hey Kris why don't you be part of the monetization

team.

I'll help show people how to do YouTube, you share how you do YouTube between you and your

team and your bulk filming approach."

But then we really need to show people how to monetize YouTube.

Because you know this adsense thing for the average creators, it's really ridiculous.

You can spend years, trying to get anywhere on YouTube, when the reality is in the future

short months, you can actually start making money on YouTube, if you know how to monetize

your channel.

So we've partnered up, I know how to put on these events, and you might have been invited

out to one of our events or maybe you've actually gone to the website and realized, "woah, there

some really cool different ways that I can consult with this guys, I can have them show

me how to get launch and started, I can have do that for you, this entire system.

We will launch your YouTube channel for you, you can become a part of our private mastermind

where we will actually sponsor you and work with you with your channel as invested partners.

Or you could come out and just join us on our live event.

And so Self Made has now become this beautiful brandnew entity, a brand new extension of

the fact that, "hey, I want you to listen to this part, of all the business that I've

ever done, YouTube truly has been the simplest and easy of all of them.

Like I'll look at the time and effort that it tales into meeting people and putting on

live events, and doing these things, and I do it because I love it.

That's my purpose is but hands down.

YouTube it's simpler, it's easier, and it really jazz with my lifestyle because it's

total flexibility.

It's like a wonderland for entrepreneurs and it really is one of the best kept secret.

So I feel super fortunate to be a part of Self Made, you know Grant is a big collaboration.

If you will and looking at what we've been able to do.

And I know that on the flipside, he loves having this entire done for you system in

place where I'm his back office that gets to run the entire business.

And he gets to be the talent between the two of us.

We're two very very different people, and yet, coming together, what a powerful synergy.

And there might even a little nugget for you on that is you're thinking, "wow what if I

could tag team with someone and have one plus one equals - eleven, right?

Ultimately have it mean more than what we are individually in with ourselves.

Self Made is, it's a brand that I super excited on and passionate about it.

There's a message behind it bigger than YouTube which says that you can become a self made

success.

A self made woman, a self made man, and ultimately it's our responsibility to rise up and make

life happen.

And if this connecting with you and if you want to hang out with some amazing creators,

if you want to get my support, and Grant's support.

If you want to help launching your channel, monetizing your channel, turn it out and take

your ideas and turn it into a product, then that's my gem, that's what I bring to the

table.

And that's what I love doing.

and so come and play with Grant and me and let's see what we could do together as far

as helping you have this much success as you possibly can have.

Make sure you click the link below or check out the website.

And even if you just subscribe and ring the bell, we're going to give you as much as daily

knowledge as we can through our channel, but time will come when you're saying, "you know

what this is my jam, I resonate with you guys, it's time to get serious."

Then go ahead and engage us and find the right product with our consultants and our team

that can really help you get rolling out the gate as fast as possible.

You know Grant and I, we care about a lot of our reputation which means if we're going

to help you, we're going to do right by you in helping you have as much success as possible.

G-Force, Jerk, and Passing Out In A Centrifuge - Duration: 4:49.

- This is the Royal Air Force training centrifuge at Farnborough.

And the team here are going to push me

as far as they're allowed to push a civilian.

- The centrifuge has been here since 1955.

The device was originally installed for research purposes,

although these days it's used for training as much as it is for research.

What it does is recreate the forces that you feel in an aircraft.

For our routine pilot training, the first time pilots go on the centrifuge,

we expect them to get up to 5g without a g-suit,

and then up to 7g with an anti-g-suit.

- Now I'm not taking a significant risk here.

I'm healthy, I've pulled a few gs before.

And the human body can take this.

And the reason we know that is because in the 1950s,

the US Air Force used rocket sleds to push volunteers to incredible speeds.

But that rocket-powered acceleration wasn't the dangerous,

or even the really high-g part of the test.

See, high-g acceleration takes a lot of incredibly expensive rockets

or a big ol' centrifuge like this.

But high-g deceleration?

All you need for that is a wall.

Or for something less destructive, like the rocket sleds,

you use scoops dropped down into a water trough.

USAF flight surgeon John Stapp,

aboard the rocket sled Sonic Wind Number One,

holds the record for the highest sustained g-force

anyone has ever voluntarily endured,

25g for 1.1 seconds, with a brief peak over 46g.

And he was badly injured, but he survived

and he recovered and he lived to the age of 89.

The human body is an incredible thing

particularly because we didn't evolve for this.

- G-tolerance is something that's innate in all of us.

Some of us have high G-tolerance. Some of us have low G-tolerance.

Over the years, people's g-tolerance doesn't really adapt.

Any shortfall in g-tolerance has really got to be made up

by physical exertion and the g-straining manoeuvre.

- What this centrifuge doesn't have is much jerk.

And jerk is a technical term.

In the same way that acceleration is the rate of change of speed,

jerk is the rate of change of acceleration.

And because it takes time to spin up and spin down...

Oh, here we go! Even though the acceleration is high,

the jerk here is relatively low, about 1g per second.

Jerk is the difference between a rocket to space

which might take a couple of minutes to reach peak acceleration

and a fighter jet, where manoeuvres might change the G force acting on you

in a fraction of a second.

And it can go further than that.

You can measure the rate of change of jerk which is called snap or jounce.

The two derivatives after that are called crackle and pop but

they're not all that useful in the real world.

- As we increase the G that Tom is exposed to,

the blood's going to be pushed down into his feet,

and he's going to have to work really hard to push that blood back up

to feed oxygen to his brain to keep him conscious.

And in real life, we would be expecting that person to be flying an aircraft whilst doing that.

- I'm getting a little bit of grey-out.

I can't quite see. Agh.

- We teach the anti-g straining manoeuvre which composes of two separate parts.

First of all, muscle tensing,

so both the buttocks and legs squeezing the blood vessels

to try and get the blood back up into the chest and the head.

But also the second part is a breathing manoeuvre

which increases the strain in the chest

directly increasing the blood pressure to the great vessels in the chest

and keeping him conscious.

And when you lose blood pressure to your head,

you could even lose consciousness.

And we term that g-induced loss of consciousness or G-LOC.

[gasping]

- Blimey!

I lost everything there.

Wow.

- G-LOC in itself is not dangerous.

But the real point is when you G-LOC you're flying an aircraft.

So if you're not able to fly that aircraft,

I'm sure you can appreciate that that is a real problem.

- Because of John Stapp and all the volunteers like him

that rode the rocket sleds,

there is a lot of research

into acceleration on the human body.

How many gs can be withstood for minutes at a time?

How many gs can be withstood for brief moments?

And how many can be withstood with training that I clearly don't have.

Rocket scientists and roller coaster designers use that data.

But there's not much research into jerk

because how do you test it without also testing acceleration?

Over on the Starrship channel, I am not passing out

pulling gs with the Blades aerobatic team(!)

And as for this video, thank you so much

to all the team at the RAF Centre of Aviation Medicine,

to the team at Qinetiq, and to the team at Starrship.

POWDER LIPSTICK AND MASCARA??? | Beauty With Mi | Refinery29 - Duration: 8:19.

I ate it.

Hey guys, it's Mi-Anne and this is Beauty With Mi.

What do you think of when I say the word powder?

I think of face powder, maybe powder foundation...I sure as hell don't think about powdered lipstick

but I have some today.

I've been noticing a lot of brands come out with powdered versions of kind of unique products

lately, so I decided to put them all to the test on my face and do a full face of powder

makeup.

But before we get started, make sure you subscribe down below.

Hit the little red button down there so we can hang out every single Monday.

So without further ado, let's get started.

I have a very strange foundation to test.

It is from Jay Manuel Beauty and it is a powder to cream.

It just– you rub it in and it just turns into a cream.

It's a very matte foundation but it's actually a little bit tacky to the touch.

I will say it doesn't blend a ton.

So you do kind of have to stamp it on and blend in the area and then dip in for more.

I think it's done a really good job of evening me out, but I do wish it had more coverage.

All right, so concealer, I have a new product.

This is from a brand called Pur, and it actually comes with a little Pur spongy thing.

The actual instructions are to apply the concealer onto the sponge itself and then tap it under

your eyes.

I'm gonna try that.

And I'm also gonna try it with a brush.

I think it's a little difficult to build up coverage with a product like this.

So I'm going to powder my face with this Pixi powder. All over so that my bronzer and my

blush and everything goes on smoothly and evenly.

All right, so moving right along to bronzer, I have this one from Lancôme, never used before but

it is a loose powder bronzer that comes in a convenient little brush package.

This bronzer looks pretty shimmery and a little bit on the orange side so I don't think it's

going to be a good contour bronzer.

I'm gonna try to actually bronze and warm up my skin.

Ooh, I just got a burst of shimmer.

I think the color of it is nice if you want like an actual warm bronzer, one that you

can put on the high points of your face to mimic, you know, having been outside in the

sun.

I think that the component being in that little click up package, makes it really difficult

to see how much product you're putting on your face.

So I have this really cool product that I'm really excited to try.

It's by Chanel.

Ooh.

There's a balm and a lip powder.

There are a few ways you can use this apparently, you can just use the balm straight from the

pan.

You can use the powder on top of the balm but you can also use the actual powder as

an eyeshadow or a blush.

So in this case I'm actually going to use it as a blush

What was that!?

I actually quite like it.

I think it has a very nice kind of matte finish.

The coloring was really beautiful, it was kind of a pinky coral.

I think it brightened up my face a lot.

So I don't have a weird highlighter today, it's just a highlighter that I've actually

used before and I really love.

It's by Dose Of Color.

It is a baked highlighter.

It has this beautiful marbling running through it.

And I love the subtle glow it gives.

So I'm just going to dip my highlighter brush into it and dust it onto my cheekbones.

So I have very oily eyelids, so I'm going to use a new eyeshadow today that I've never

used before.

But I want to see how it holds up on its own and how it holds up with the eyelid primer.

My eyeshadow today is actually going to be from a brand called TPSY.

It's called Two Drink Minimum.

How cute is that?

So this is the lilac side and it has a little bit of shadow on an actual sponge tip so you

don't even need to use brushes.

And on the other side is another color.

This nice bronze.

So I'm going to start with this beautiful warm brown.

Oh, it's so easy to use.

I think applying is really easy.

But I think I'm still going to want to use a blending brush to blend it out.

I'm going to do a little bit of the deeper shade on my lower lash line.

If you want to dip back into this product, and you want to wear quite a bit of eyeshadow,

it's a little bit difficult.

You have to keep dipping it, it's springy.

But it's just so convenient to have these little sponges, you don't have to bring extra

brushes.

Alright, so I'm going to move on to a little bit of liner.

Just a little bit.

And I have these L'Oreal Infallible.

I have these Infallible Smokissime eyeliners from L'Oreal.

I think what I'm going to go with is the brown shade today.

Wow, these really stay on, I mean look.

It's a really easy diffuse line that you really don't need brushes for but I'm gonna use

a brush just to diffuse it even further.

So my mascara that I have is kind of an exciting one.

I've never used it before.

It's called the Bésame mascara cake and it comes in this little tin that you open up

and it comes the little brush and a dry mascara formula.

Kind of looks like a piece of dark chocolate.

It is kind of the same componentry and style as a lot of the mascaras that people used

in the 1920s.

I'll put a drop of water onto the actual cake and then rub this little brush in it and use

that to apply my mascara.

I think it's supposed to turn into a little bit of a paste.

I really like how this has defined my eyelashes.

I don't think it's holding a curl.

I'm gonna get my bottom lashes.

Wish me luck.

This brush isn't great for getting bottom lashes, especially if you have no eyelashes

like I do.

It kind of is hard to work with.

You kind of end up getting the mascara all over.

But I think that if you used a spoolie, like just run to Sephora and just get a free sample

spoolie and use that instead, I think it'll be much easier.

So I actually have a powder eyebrow product for you.

And they're kind of weird.

It's from this brand called Blink Brow Bar.

It's a powder eyebrow product that comes out with this little spongy applicator that you

kind of put onto your eyebrows and fill them in with.

It works, I think that it's a little bit messy if you aren't careful, you can get a little

bit of fall out.

I thought that was a kind of a gimmicky product first but I think I was able to get a good

look out of it.

Definitely have a spoolie though.

So last but not least, is lipstick and I'm very excited for this step because I have

these Clē cosmetics melting lip powders.

And they are straight up powder.

But I'm choosing between the shades, Desert Rose and Hot Choco.

I'm gonna actually swatch them, so I can see.

So I'm gonna use the shade Desert Rose.

Aw, man, I got some on my pants.

Ooh.

It looks like powder in the tube but is going on like a liquid.

Super powder and matte finish but I will say that this lipstick doesn't layer over itself

nicely so it's kind of like do it in one go and don't try to layer on top.

I'm gonna give myself a pat on the back for this look because some of these products were

really hard to work with.

Like the lip color.

Love the eye look.

Do I think the powder is worth the mess?

Short answer no.

Long answer...if you want something that's a little bit more unique, something that's

a little fun to play with, totally go for it.

I'm gonna wear this for the rest of the day.

I'm gonna see how it wears and then at the end of the day I'll let you know my final

thoughts.

See you then.

Bye!

Just got home and I've been wearing this makeup for quite awhile now and I've got to say I'm

pretty oily.

But I'm quite surprised as to how natural the foundation looks.

It didn't cover.

I do think that even as I wore it, it started to wear even more.

Eyes, primer side held up way better.

Not too much smudging, I think the mascara smudged a little bit.

I liked the way it came out but the powder products themselves are so difficult to work

with, they get everywhere.

They got on my pants, as I was putting it on my face I felt like I was breathing it

in and coughing.

Let me know in the the comments what you think.

I hope you enjoyed this video and I will catch you guys next week.

Mom Sees Stroller Upside Down In Rushing Water, Then She Realizes Toddler Is Still Inside - Duration: 2:33.

Mom Sees Stroller Upside Down In Rushing Water Then She Realizes Toddler Is Still Inside

Missy Pocock had always been nervous about the canal that ran by her house in Rexburg,

Idaho.

Her kids often played nearby and she worried about them falling in.

Recently the mom learned that her fears were not unfounded.

She was mowing her yard when she noticed two girls with a stroller and a dog walking near

the canal.

All of a sudden the dog ran by and brushed against the stroller, causing it to roll into

the canal.

As the girls frantically tried to get down to the water, Missy realized there was a child

still strapped into the stroller.

I looked up, and the stroller was upside down in the canal.

He was 6 feet down the canal," she recalled.

"I couldn't even see him.

All I could see was the stroller.

Without a second thought, Missy raced over to the canal, jumped over the fence, and dove

into the water where she swam to the overturned stroller and pulled it and the little boy

out.

As she picked him up she noticed he was turning blue and she began to pound on his back to

get him to start breathing.

I just pounded on his back.

I got the water out of his lungs and climbed out.

Once I finally got him to breathe, he started screaming," she said.

The girls told her he had asked them to let him throw a stick into the canal, but when

he did so the dog brushed past the stroller and knocked it into the water.

One of the sisters tried to get to him, but with no luck.

The water was moving super fast," Missy recalled.

I was shocked at how cold it was.

It was super, super deep and super, super muddy.

I sunk like a foot when I jumped in.

My shoes went straight in the mud.

I had bruises everywhere.

I cut my hand and was bleeding all down my arm.

Despite the pain, she said, "It was better than a kid dying.

Missy said she is not especially athletic and does not exercise much.

She believes her sudden athletic prowess that day was due to a little help from above.

I'm not an avid jumper.

I was never in track.

There was definitely some divine intervention in that extravaganza, she said.

Two little boys at the edge of the bridge said, 'That was so awesome.

You flew over the fence and then jumped in the canal.'

All I know is angels helped me over the fence.

Were you amazed by Missy's heroic and miraculous story?

So share this!

5 FREE Windows Programs You NEED to Try - April 2018 - Duration: 4:48.

Looking for more programs to spice up your computer workflow?

Curious about new things to try or new tools to add to your arsenal?

Look no further than this series.

Here are 5 programs I recommend, in no particular order.

I'll probably be releasing new episodes to this list on a monthly basis, so stay tuned.

Quality tech education and gaming nostalgia that won't put your to sleep.

Get subscribed and turn on notifications so that you won't miss the next guide.

Again, no programs in this video have sponsored me, and I've had no contact with their developers.

Instead, today's sponsor is:

Tubebuddy is the best tool you can get to manage your YouTube channel.

You can Update videos in bulk, optimize your SEO, syndicate to social media, back up your

metadata and MORE all with a simple browser extension.

First up, we have RealVNC.

VNC itself is a protocol for remotely accessing and controlling computers - be it over your

home network or over the internet.

RealVNC is a great option for managing and controlling your systems remotely.

They offer some professional-level versions of their tools - which add more enterprise-level

management for IT professionals and the like but they also offer a basic free version which

works great for power-users at home.

I use it to manage my servers and other desktops from anywhere in the world - with multiple

layers of password protection and security in place to prevent tampering.

It's insanely responsive and provides a high quality render of the desktop without

the video desktop driver issues I have with Windows RDP or the security issues of TeamViewer.

And it runs on Linux.

Win, win win, for me!

Taking screenshots is something I do many, many times almost every day.

For that, I need a super convenient tool that still delivers high quality shots and some

good options.

The perfect balance I have found is with Lightshot.

Lightshot is incredibly easy to use, and fast.

Requiring at most one extra click past hitting PrintScreen to upload, save, or copy a screenshot.

It's got a built-in editor which allows you to adjust the size of the screenshot or

draw, highlight, type on it, and so on quickly and easily.

Or you can have it automatically upload the screenshot to share online.

I use this daily, it's a key part of my workflow.

Lightshot is available for Windows and Mac, with browser extensions also available.

As someone who regularly builds and manages multiple beefy computers at a time, monitoring

system temperatures is of the upmost importance.

For that, I use CoreTemp.

CoreTemp is a great program that monitors your system voltages and temperatures.

It lets you keep an eye on how hot your processor is running.

It also lets you minimize it to the system tray and just shows the temperature readouts

in the tray.

It's pretty handy and is important when you're constantly pushing your processor

to its limits.

The next program is pretty important for us night owls, but also the bane of my existence

as someone who randomly needs to record my screen for videos.

F.lux automatically adjusts your screen's color brightness throughout the day - primarily

reducing its blue light - to prevent eye strain and keep you working late into the hours of

the night without issue.

I used to use the "gamer glasses" for this, but now I just rely on F.lux.

The problem is, this is a system-wide change, and not something inherent to your monitor

- though some monitors have begun experimenting with this kind of feature - so when I go to

record my screen and forget to disable F.lux, the footage has a reddish hue to it which

I can't really fix.

But it's great and quick to set up.

Lastly, we have JDownloader 2 - also available on a wide variety of operating systems.

This is a fantastic download tool for downloading from typical file sharing websites, media

streaming sites, and so on.

This is easy to pull images, videos, sound files, or full open directory downloads just

by copying the URL.

It also has some other great features which I can't discuss here...

And that's it for this installment.

(Haha… pun…)

I've been thinking Of everything that you and I could be

Oh, I'm caught in a dream and I don't want to wake

I've been in A fantasy with you my dear, my darling

The beat of my heart it goes

My head buried in my phone at night It takes a lot more than two wrongs to find

someone right But you came to me straight out from the blue

And I knew, I just had to get a name out of you

Eyes bright like they were made out of starlight A gaze so strong I think I fell in love at

first sight A skip in the pitter patter of my beating

heart Left me so shook, my brain just had to hit

restart Look

The start process is no simple task, nah No boot up drive or you waiting for me to

ask For your name, your number, all of the above

I wondered, if push came to shove, would I blunder?

I'm so over encumbered with just you in my mind

I got some rose tinted lenses making me look blind

I can't see past your shine when you're the only thing in sight

So I'll stand from a distance and fantasize about our life, aye

I've been thinking Of everything that you and I could be

Oh, I'm caught in a dream and I don't want to wake

I've been in A fantasy with you my dear, my darling

The beat of my heart it goes

Do I Have To See The Doctor The Insurance Company Recommends? – Attorney Janis A. Eisl explains - Duration: 1:46.

You've been involved in a work related accident in the State of New Jersey and the worker's

compensation insurance company has directed you to go to a specific doctor.

Do you have to go see that doctor?

Hi, my name is Janis.

I'm a partner at the firm of Gaylord Popp, and I handle worker's compensation as well

as Social Security Disability.

The answer to that question is: Sometimes.

If you were involved in a work-related accident and the claim has been admitted by the worker's

compensation insurance company, under the law, the employer is entitled to direct treatment;

however, this can change.

If the worker's compensation insurance company has directed you to a doctor, and that doctor

indicates you don't need any additional treatment, but you believe you still do, then you can

go see a doctor on your own accord if the appropriate treatment request has been made

to the worker's compensation insurance carrier, and they do not want to provide you with any

additional treatment.

It is paramount that you issue requests for treatment before you go see your own doctor.

Otherwise, you may be responsible for paying the outstanding medical bills in connection

with the additional treatment you receive.

If you have found this information helpful, go to our website to view additional videos,

or call us directly with any questions at 609-771-8611.

Smart Casual Dress Code Explained - What To Wear With Style For Men & What Not - Gentleman' Gazette - Duration: 11:01.

Welcome back to the gentleman's Gazette and our series about dress codes.

Today, we discuss smart casual, what it means, what the dos are, what the don'ts are, so

you don't show up in a hoodie with a dress shirt.

Even 20 years ago, dress codes were much more defined and people clearly understood what

they meant, however, in recent years, fashion and clothes have become more casualized and

because of that, new dress codes have evolved.

The term casual today can be anything from gym clothes or athleisure, all the way up

to something that's office appropriate such as a dress shirt and chinos.

Now obviously, there is a big disconnect and just having the casual dress code is no longer

enough.

So if you get an invitation with a dress code smart casual, I hear your pain.

You really don't know exactly what to wear so we'll help you out, we will define what

smart casual is, what it's not, the historic background, as well as the do's and don'ts.

So what exactly is smart casual?

Historically, the term was coined because people showed up overly casual and the smart

implied that you can't show up with joggers and trainers.

If you look at the urban dictionary, it defines smart casual as a nonsensical dress code that

people slap on to events, parties, and workplaces.

Completely down to interpretation, this always causes confusion and often spectacular results.

The mixture between smart and casual should not be taken literally.

So while it's hilarious, sadly, it's not very helpful.

So here is our definition of smart casual.

First, the urban dictionary got it right by saying don't take it literally.

That means, don't wear tennis shoes with a dress shirt, or combine sweatpants with a

blazer.

So in a nutshell, smart casual is not about mixing different pieces of clothing from different

degrees of formality but rather to pick something that is in between a very casual outfit and

a formal or businesslike outfit.

A hoodie would be too casual and pleated wool dress pants would be too formal, instead,

if you go with chinos, they are less formal, as well as a polo shirt, you hit that perfect

sweet spot of smart casual.

Personally, I like the idea of a smart casual dress code because it allows you to use lots

of colors and to combine different things that you may not have combined otherwise.

Ideally, you always want to avoid looks at the extreme end of the spectrum, that means

no jeans, no trainers, no hoodies, or no sweatpants.

At the same time, it also means no neckwear, no suits, no pleated pants, and no black dress

shoes.

So where do you usually encounter the smart casual dress code?

It's not at the office because there are different terms such as business casual and to learn

more about that, you can check out our video here

You can usually find smart casual dress codes in a social environment such as cruise ships,

restaurants, or resorts.

The whole idea is to look neat and presentable without being overly stuffy.

So let's say you work in a white-collar office and you have an invitation to a smart casual

event afterwards and you usually wear dress shirts, ties, and pinstripe suits, you definitely

want to bring a change of clothes.

If you're a bit more flexible at the office, you can get away with wearing a blazer and

chinos for example, as well as a tie, but when you go to the smart casual party, I suggest

to take off the tie, add a bold pocket square, maybe a boutonniere, have some bolder socks

and shoes and brown tones or more colors such as dark red, dark green, or navy, and it just

creates a more fun outfit that is not as boring or stuffy formal as you would usually know

from an office environment.

So if you're unsure whether you should dress up a little more or dress down, I suggest

you always dress up because that way, you don't embarrass yourself.

Of course, always stay within that smart casual range which means below business wear.

Now that we defined the broad range of smart casual, let's talk about specific items you

can wear.

On the formal side would be an odd jacket or a blazer.

Odd jacket meaning it has a bolder pattern, another color, and it doesn't match the pants.

You don't want to wear a suit, a combination at most.

Also, that means, don't wear orphaned suit jackets from your pinstripe suit with a Nantucket

red pair of pants because it's simply odd and doesn't work together.

Of course, if you want to be more casual with your jacket choice, you can absolutely do

that.

You could go with a Harrington jacket in cotton, maybe a linen jacket such as this green one,

I would even argue you could wear a bomber jacket or maybe a leather jacket if that suits

the overall outfit.

When it comes to shirts, you should definitely stay clear of t-shirts but you can wear dress

shirts.

That being said, I suggest not to wear plain white or solid light blue dress shirts because

they're true business formal.

Instead, go with checked shirts maybe in a collar such as the green one I'm wearing here

right now.

You can also go with other checks and other colors may be bolder checks, smaller checks

may be a small houndstooth or a bold stripe.

It all works, just make sure there's some contrast, there's some color, and it's not

too stiff.

If you live in a warmer climate, linen shirts are perfectly fine.

Personally, I would always stay clear of short-sleeved dress shirts and instead go with polo shirts

because it's more natural and works better.

To learn more about polo shirts, how to wear them, what not to do, please check out this

in-depth guide series here.

When it comes to pants or slacks, don't wear jeans and don't wear pleated pants made out

of worsted wool because that's office wear and both of them are too extreme.

Instead, go with chinos, may be corduroys in the winter, seersucker or linen in the

summer, or something with a bit more texture that's interesting and it could also have

a pattern such as a small houndstooth for example.

When it comes to accessories, color is your friend.

You can be much bolder than at the office and you can experiment and simply have fun.

I suggest you skip bowties and regular neckties.

if you want to have something around your neck, maybe an ascot can be the perfect item.

To learn more how to tie it properly so you look perfect in smart casual, please check

out this video here.

If you decide to wear a blazer or an odd jacket, I strongly recommend you wear a bold pocket

square or maybe a boutonniere that is just contrasting, it's a pop of color, it's different,

and it's fun.

Definitely, avoid the white linen pocket square in TV fold, that's fine for a job interview

or the office but not for smart casual.

Another way I like to spice up smart casual outfits is to use colorful socks.

You could be bolder, you can experiment, you can go really out there, or you can be a little

more subdued.

Personally, I want a subdued side and for a full range of colorful socks that are tasteful

as well as pocket squares and boutonnieres please head over to our shop and check it

out there.

Iff it's cold outside and you need some gloves, I suggest to go with fun colors such as dark

green, maybe a light tan, blue, or red, and stay clear of the traditional black gloves,

or just boring Brown gloves.

That being said, if you want to stick with those colors, make sure you get two-toned

gloves such as these black and red gloves by Fort Belvedere or the brown and blue gloves

which are definitely not your Grandpa's gloves.

When it comes to shoes, I suggest you stay with leather shoes.

They can have a leather sole or a rubber sole but they must not be black because that's

too formal.

Instead, go with brown tones or tans but you can also venture into green, maybe off-white,

or dark burgundy red.

All these colors are acceptable but I urge you to choose a style that is more casual

with more casual details.

As such, spectators work.

You can go with woven leather, or maybe a linen insert, suede is also good.

Just get something that's more casual than a traditional business shoe.

That being said, Derbies are more appropriate than Oxfords but there are oxfords that would

be just fine for smart casual as long as they are not too dark and they have maybe a full

brogue pattern.

Apart from that, I think two tone tassel loafers are great or maybe just regular penny loafers,

some people even like driving moccs even though I think they wear very quickly if you wear

them on a daily basis but they work from a concept point of view.

On a very casual end, I suggest shoes go with boat shoes because they are still leather

and they're still relaxed and you can even wear them barefoot.

While it's clear that tennis shoes and trainers are too casual, a lot of people like designer

sneakers or leather sneakers and in my opinion, they're in a gray area personally, I wouldn't

wear it because I find it too casual but I know other people who would probably find

a sneaker still appropriate.

At the end of the day, it's your call.

Personally, I'd always urge you to get a little bit more formal within the smart casual dress

code because that way, you always look dapper and properly attired.

No one will turn you down, everyone will respect you, and they will know that you understood

the smart casual dress code.

In today's video, I am wearing a smart casual outfit that I could wear during the colder

days of the year.

It consists of a heavy knit cardigan however it's a lighter color which is about off white

or beige I paired with a green long-sleeved dress shirt that is checked with white which

breaks up the monotony of the solid cardigan I'm pairing it with navy corduroy pants and

contrasting chukka boots that go well with my cardigan that way the overall outfit is

tied together for my socks I opted for green and brown shadow striped socks so the green

pick up the color of my shirt and the brown pick up the color of the shoe sole thus tying

everything in my outfit well together if it was colder outside I'd wear this green duffle

coat but because it's so bright I would opt for more muted colors for my gloves such as

a petrol blue and maybe a dark red and dark blue double sided scarf from Fort Belvedere

you can find all the accessories in our shop here

230 VINTAGE PADLOCKS PICKING SERIES - TWO LIC PADLOCKS - sub eng - Duration: 6:20.

Hello guys, welcome back again

the locks I have for you today are two LIC padlocks

it is a Spanish manufacturer

but I've tried to find information from this manufacturer, and I have not found anything

I do not know if it is a manufacturer that no longer exists, if it is a small manufacturer

that has a very limited distribution, or if it is the second brand of a larger Spanish manufacturer

but I have not managed to find anything

These two padlocks are used

I have not seen anywhere that sell new

this one seems quite modern

but this one is seems older

I don´t know the age, but probably it is from the 90s

they are easy to pick

but they have spools, and they are very funny to pick

this also that is uncleaned and unlubricated

has a very bad feedback and it may be a little hard to pick

let's try the opening of the two and we see what happens

in this one, the keys are not original

I show you the biting

nothing spectacular

practically all the same depth except the first one that is very short

but as I say, they are fun to pick

let's start with the smallest that is the newest

It is very clean and has a very clear feedback so easily opens

Let's do it

I'm going to use this homemade wrench on the top of the keyway

and in this case I will use this Peterson pick

a hook that is very thin and flexible, with which you work very well from below

The keyway is wide as you can see there is no problem to work

Let's try

from front to back

medium tension

first nothing, second is binding

make a click third is binding

setting the third one, it falls in false set

fourth si binding

there it is, it's a spool,

we set it

first is binding,

it gives counterotation

and when setting it,

the lock opens

an easy picking

It is a good padlock for those who are starting in lockpicking sport

and very funny

As you can see, this one has square section cuts, we'll see how the other one is different

let´s see with the big one

this may be somewhat more difficult

because it is very dirty, very very dirty inside

let's try, I'll use the same wrench

but I'm going to use this other pick,

that Tobias and Jullian sent me, is more rigid

and it gives me more control over the pins

let´s see, first nothing, medium tension

second nothing,

the third, seems it´s binding

there it is, make one click

fourth one click

fifth is binding

it gives counterotation

there it is, we set it

first nothing, second nothing,

third nothing, fourth one click

fifth nothing

first nothing, second

third is binding

make one click

fourth one click

fifth nothing

I go for the first, first nothing

second, touching the second the false set go deeper

let´s see, first, the first is binding, gives counterotation

we set it

second is binding

there it is

and setting the second

it opens

it is similar to the other, it hasn´t too much complication

but yes that being very dirty has a very bad feedback

and it may give some trouble

as you can see, this one has the cuts in wedge shape, in the other one it was quadrangular shape

apart from that there are few differences,

just something in the letters

in this one you can read "hardened" on the front part, in the back of this other one, practically does not read

some beautiful padlocks

hard to find

and of which I would like to know more, if someone has more information about the manufacturer, I would appreciate your commenting

Well, this has been the opening of the two LIC padlocks

I hope you liked it, that it will be useful

and thank you very much for your time, bye

The greatest miracle of God ...

In Luanda, Angola, manna falls from the sky every Wednesday and Friday.

In the time of Moses, the Manna is the bread that God gave as food

to the Hebrews in the dessert. The inhabitants of Lunda

Struck by drought since 1945 have always had a bad

harvest. They survived by eating manna when

the temperature were hard, today still people

eat manna. It tastes like honey and it's like

cake, it's white and it's sweet.

At the time he was falling every day except on Sunday and currently this manna

falls every Wednesday and Fridays, if it does not rain.
