Sebastián Villalobos cocina kebab en un restaurante que lleva abierto más de 350 años 😱. - Duration: 6:34.

From the beginning, the trip to Israel was a crazy idea.

They told me: "We'll go to Israel."

And the first thing I thought was: "What?"

I arrived on the other side of the world

and there were people waiting for me.

I couldn't believe it.

Guys, this is crazy.

We arrived at the Western Wall.

It's a place with a lot of history.

Then we went to a little market.

I left my comfort zone as I never did before

and cooked in the market of Jerusalem.

RAZE PRESENTS

COOKING WITH SEBA

Hi! How are you? I hope you're very, very well.

We're still exploring every passages in Jerusalem.

I'm with "Gassi." "Gassi."

-Ghazi. -Ghazi.

Ghazi.

I'll tell you.

He owns a restaurant called "Shaheen Kebab."

Yes.

They're the "Shaheen Brothers."

He's 44 years old and cooks this food since he was 10.

He has two children of 14 and 15 years old.

They're also experts at cooking this.

This food's called kebab.

Kebab.

-This is a small knife. -Yes.

Let's sharpen it.

-Follow me. -OK.

There you go.

-This is lamb meat. -Right.

We have three knives.

It's nearly more than 300 years.

The second one is 180 years.

This is also nearly 100 years.

When do you wake up in the morning and say:

"Today I'll learn to cook in a restaurant of 350 years"?

Let's sharpen it like this.

My teeth hurt.

You're a professional.

-Yes. -Come on!

-Try it. -Just a little bit.

Let's see how it's done.

I'm trying to do it quickly,

but I have to chop the pieces of meat many times.

He's a professional.

Every time he does it, my heart and brain suffer.

Look at my eyes.

No!

What?

Can you do it?

No, I absolutely can't do it.

-Can you do it? -I think so.

I can't do it that quickly.

I'm not chopping anything.

We add a little bit of parsley.

-Yes. -Salt. Pepper.

This is the garlic.

Oh my god!

Try it.

-Yes, of course. -Try it.

I'm not that bad.

Medium.

This is a little bit of water.

OK.

And you cut it like this.

-OK. -Circles.

Look at him! Look how it's done.

Do you want to do it?

-That way? -Yes.

-Is this water? -Yes.

-A little bit of water. -OK.

-It's very difficult for him. -Yes.

-Look how I make it. -OK.

Circles.

SEBAS'S TURN

It's more difficult than I thought.

Let's see. Wait.

If I can make one, it'll be good enough.

It's perfect. What do you mean?

PERFECT?

-It's difficult for him. -Yes.

I wasn't going to make it at the first attempt.

Kebab.

Well, we're getting to the end.

We've had a big experience here with Ghazi.

-Ghazi. -"Gassi."

Ghazi.

At this moment, we're about to take this to the grill.

Our creations, our kebab.

FIRE

It's the great technique.

We do this in Colombia.

Look. Hi! The order of kebab.

Kebab, "kebald."

Let's go. Go on!

My arm hurts.

So where can I put this?

You can do this and eat it.

Cheers.

I had my doubts.

They're hot.

I thought they'd be underdone.

But they're just right.

They're great.

His hands are burning.

HOT?

How do you do it?

You have to do it quickly because they're boiling.

Boiling.

Be careful.

No! Don't do that.

The tomato's really hot.

The tomato's really hot.

No! No!

Look how my hand looks now.

We have to appreciate the work Ghazi and his family

have done for 350 years.

We're in Israel learning about the history of this great place.

-Thanks. Congratulations! -You're welcome.

Let's eat all of this!

IN THE NEXT EPISODE

This burns me. Why?

My body is burning.

I can't open my eyes because...

At Home In The Tropics Bed & Breakfast Inn Tour // St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands - Duration: 6:41.

Hello.

I am standing right outside this amazing bed and breakfast

here in St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands

and that bed and breakfast is At Home In The Tropics.

It is so awesome, I'm gonna show you around.

This is family owned and operated,

there are only a few rooms here,

because of that we have a fence over here

and it remains locked all the time.

So, security is top priority here.

It is so beautiful and relaxing out here.

We also have this amazing view.

This is a great place to sit down and have some breakfast.

Breakfast is included and it is a delicious home cooked meal.

They have plants all over the establishment

and they grab whatever herbs or fruits to make stuff.

this is a Clementine tree.

-This is a Clementine. -Yeah.

So, this is an herb and it's extremely fragrant

I can already smell it.

It's a very pretty elephant ear it's a Tanya plant,

so the roots are edible.

Any of you guys use these for cooking?

Yeah, we use this for breakfast,

so, it's not quite, you need to harvest through the roots,

but in the bottom of that, it's making like a potato would grow.

So, that's Tanya.

This is a mango sapling.

Oh.

We probably have another two years before this is going to produce fruit.

But we do serve mangoes

that are from either the trees above or from our next door neighbor.

Passion fruit vine.

It was just harvested like two weeks ago.

This right here, how many would you get?

This threw off about 25.

West Indian cherry tree?

From the time you plant it to the time it fruits.

It's about two years.

This is a pineapple.

It almost ready to start throwing off fruit.

And so a spike will come up from the top

and it'll grow like the fruit body is at the bottom

and then it makes another little spiky part on top.

I feel like that would be a very huge pineapple

just from the size of the plant.

Walk down there and grab some bananas.

Yeah you walk down there with a big machete

and you hawk off the part that creates the flower and the fruit

and then you let them ripen on the counter.

You let them ripen on the tree,

something else will eat it, not you.

Over here are all of the rooms.

I am Number One.

Good shower, nice space.

is there a light in here?

I mean, there's a light up there.

Let's figure out how to turn up.

That's the TV.

We've got an AC unit in the corner, we've got fans

we have a lovely sink, a little vanity area actually.

Vanity.

Flashlight, those are necessary.

Towels.

I'm gonna need that.

Every room has its own little front porch area.

A mini fridge so that you can have ice and put ice cream,

and you can put drinks and bottled water

and whatever else, maybe somebody left over Caribbean meal

and it comes with this drying wrap.

Because, of course, when you are on a Caribbean island

such as St. Thomas,

you're gonna have a lot of things

that you're gonna need to dry because it is hot and humid.

I'm gonna show you the best part of this room.

Yeah, some French doors here,

we got...

And...

Oh yeah.

Just outside of my room is the lobby area.

I'm going to show you an example of another room.

This is number four which doesn't have a balcony.

Similar to my room, it has a little front porch.

And when you go on in.

This is the room without a balcony but it does have a really great view.

Every room comes with this laminated sheet

and it is a guide to all the things

that you should and shouldn't do in the room,

for example, no smoking.

All power is solar and water is collected and filtered rainwater.

Please turn off all the lights.

So, they're very conscious about all the energy that they use here.

At Home In The Tropics is a short five to ten minute walk to a downtown.

That is it for this tour of At Home In The Tropics

if you enjoyed it then please give me a thumbs up,

and let me know in the comments down below

what do you think of this place.

Lodbrock Pillory Set Review - BDSM Toy Reviews: Kinky Flogger, Paddle, Blindfold & Stocks - Duration: 21:34.

hey guys so today I am going to do a review of the log Brock slush loss

Meister I've been practicing how to say that and I still screwed it up I'm sorry

my German sucks but the Hillary set that I received recently just so that you

guys know this is not a sponsored video I'm not being paid to say anything in it

they did however send me this set for review so I've got sage here to help me

out and he's going to give his opinions and thoughts on some of the pieces as

well the one time I'm allowed to yes you're allowed to have opinions this

time so I'll tell you a little bit about the Company Law Brock first they are a

group of artisans who have decided they wanted to create BDSM equipment that was

not only handmade and high-quality but was also available at a reasonable price

point you guys have heard me before I talk about you know buying from local

artisans because I think that you get the best value for your money that way

and you get better quality toys and it helps to support your local community

well these guys have taken that concept and turned it into something even bigger

and better so they are available worldwide

they have distribution centers in both Germany and in California so it doesn't

matter where you are shipping is very quick where I live in Canada is kind of

it's outside of Toronto so sometimes things can take a long time to get here

but with this we've received it and I think it was about four or five days

from the time they sent it I was really really impressed with that because

normally everything takes extra time to arrive so I really like that and it'll

also help cut down on shipping costs because anybody who's trying to order

from either if you're in North America and you order from Europe or you're in

Europe and order from North America you know that this shipping adds up super

quick and half the time you pay more in shipping than you did for the item

itself so having those distribution centers in Germany and in California's

help eliminate that so with this particular set the pillory set here they

wanted to do something they wanted to immerse themselves in the past and come

up with something really unique and I think that they've done this it

obviously has a very medieval feel and theme to it and they wanted to explore

sort of the mystery and the fantasy that sort of comes with our ideas of medieval

times so I think that they have definitely scored well on that one point

it is a beautiful piece it really is evocative of medieval times but it would

also work really well for like Old English school discipline which you guys

know I'm a big fan of and other sort of things throughout history there they do

have some future projects coming up I'm really excited to see what these guys

come up with one of the things that they told me maybe in the future is different

fantasy themes and one of them was latex oriented and inspired by Kubrick films

so I think that that would be really interesting and I just I cannot wait to

see what these guys come up with next because this set is so beautiful and

well made and everything else I'm not being paid to say this I'm gonna say

that a million times because I'm gushing over it it's

beautiful the other thing that I really wanted to

point out to you guys is that everything is made from natural materials wherever

possible so the wood is New Zealand pine on all the metal fittings and brackets

and everything else are handmade in-house so they've used as much as

certain natural materials as possible you know the beautiful leather

the wood everything so I really like that and I know that a lot of you guys

will appreciate that a lot of us are trying to avoid plastics they don't use

plastics but to avoid that and get back to more natural materials so that's

always a bonus so without further ado let's take a look at the various pieces

and we'll begin the review alright guys so I brought sage in with me to help me

talk about some of the components of this set so the first thing we'll start

with is the paddle now this paddle is fantastic it's you know a brown leather

it has a wooden handle and one of the hidden secrets and I'll show you guys a

close-up of the handle because you can kind of see it there is there's a piece

of memory metal through the paddle so this means that it stays nice and stiff

but it still has that little bit of flexibility so it will you know feel

really nice and it'll be fun and easy to use

I like the handle that it you know fits nicely in my much smaller hands but it

still will fit in you know sage sages larger hands there so so we have the

first side is just smooth and then the other side is riveted with these brass

rivets and they contrast with the leather very nicely it's stitched all

around the edge and then beveled and we can see that they've got a little bit of

leather lacing there just to make it look nice and finish the whole thing off

so this paddle is really nice because it's you know it's got a variety of uses

we can use the smooth side and have a more sensual sort of play we can use the

side with the rivets and that delivers a different sensation so what did you

think of the paddle here I like because it's got that it's got that nice

medieval look to it you know it's with the wooden handle it's all very like

distressed looking you know and you got the the brown

leather it's not black like what a lot of most artesian --zz go for and if it's

like a store-bought thing for like the sex store or whatever it's kind of like

it's also black or it's that kind of like that fake leather yeah crappy

looking so yeah this is it's really nice it's got a lot of nice little details to

it so you know it's not just oh it's a paddle so it's kind of got that again

that nice medieval look to it the you've got the company name put right here so

it's kind of that's kind of what everything in this set actually has the

company logo or the name so that's kind of neat you know can't you know where

you're getting it from it's nothing's ever has like made in China on it or

anything so yeah so yeah no it's it's it's definitely nice this is good nice

and soft want to try it no sure I like being on the other end of the battle you

know that well we're discussing this yeah he keeps trying to convince me to

switch and it's not gonna happen so the next thing we have to talk about is I

the blindfold and this is beautiful in its simplicity it is just a piece of

leather that is cut to shape and then we've got those little brass eyelets and

that's that and then of course the leather thongs here to tie it off but

what I really loved about it is that it actually works as a blindfold we've had

a lot of problems with blindfolds where especially if he's laying down he can

see out of them and he can just kind of peek out and that defeats the purpose of

a blindfold and I have to tell him keep your eyes closed and you know he sneaks

a peek anyway sometimes so what did you have to think of it or what did you

think about this yeah so earlier like I tried it on to see you know how much it

is ability I I had so for me like if you're a guy or gal like me I actually

have a pretty decent size no so sometimes the other blindfolds don't

work because your nose is so big and then either let's light in and then you

can kind of see and like she was saying earlier about you know if you're down or

you know you have a certain angle you can kind of see what's coming or you if

you move around you can kind of get a scope of what's gonna happen or whatever

with this one not so much like it didn't completely block everything but all I

had was light I didn't I wasn't actually able to see anything I was actually just

getting a little sliver of light but I was on my vision was restricted so that

was kind of cool the fact that it worked and like she said it's very simple again

it's got that very medieval look to it you know something you'd kind of picture

it like a more medieval setting dungeon thing and again it's labeled with the

company's name right here in the corner so ya know very nice it's a very nice

touch yeah I liked it indicating I mean it's simple not everything needs to be

all you know fancy and complicated sometimes the simplest things work the

best so the one thing that neither of us were as crazy about and I mean I

absolutely love this set but the flogger wasn't my favorite piece and a lot of it

is simply an aesthetic thing it's a preference sort of thing so for me I I

don't really like when we've got this wrapping exposed I prefer to have like

the Turks head knot or just something to kind of cover that up and that is purely

like an aesthetic thing I know a lot of people who don't mind or actually like

this and I know that they did this style to keep with that sort of medieval theme

the one thing that I did and again it's a preference thing so your mileage may

vary on this I like a flogger that has a bit of a heavier handle on it this one

the handle is very very white so that's where I run in

to an issue so it doesn't have that sort of balance point that should be

somewhere around here the Falls are much heavier than the

handle so it and I see how a lot of the pictures they were holding it up here

and and it'll work just fine like that but with the Falls being the way they

are it's not and they're fairly short for a flogger so you don't have to worry

about you know having it perfectly balanced and weighted as much as if it

was a more traditional style vlogger I find that this actually works really

nicely as a discipline so for you know self flagellation it works fantastic or

if you're playing with it I find my hand wants to kind of grip it

a lot higher to give me like a little more control over it so and when I did

the unboxing you guys saw that I mentioned that the Falls here are quite

stiff and that's just because it's new it's that new flogger feel these wheels

soften up quite a bit with use but so for rent for now it's quite Stinney but

i imagine that as we use it more and it softens up it will be a much more sort

of sensual feel and I do absolutely intend to you know use this vlogger

quite a bit I'm just gonna you have to use it in a different manner than my

other vloggers and that's fine like I said the the complaints that I have with

this are a fairly minor and mostly aesthetic and what did you think of it

when we tried this out yeah same same points yeah nothing really else to add

again it's you know got the whole medieval look again it's late here we've

got an attention to detail with the logo there I thought that was kind of cool

but ya know just very yeah it's very simple

yeah flogger I know you're not as crazy about sticky things

but it's not too bad and you can sort of minimize the sting depending on how you

use the vlogger if we're hitting just with these sort of grazing with the tips

it'll be a lot stickier then if we sort of hit with the body of the falls there

try it sure go ahead bend over all right now

the pillory itself is made from thank you lovely model

it's made from New Zealand pine and it is then being distressed and yes it

smells lovely we've both commented on just the the

amazing smell it's between the wood and the leather and of course as I mentioned

earlier everything is made with natural materials wherever possible so you get

just this beautiful scent it's you want to put it in my car as like the car

frame just hang that from your ear better honestly because it smells that

good yeah no it really does smell quite nice and I mean that adds to a scene I

think you know we have to stimulate all the senses but anyways so it's a lovely

New Zealand pine and it has been distressed and the whole thing is

designed to become more sort of distressed and antiqued over time so

we're going to see you know the wood deepening color and the metal here will

sort of parts of it will sort of chip as you use it and the blackness will come

come off it'll still be black but it'll just look more distressed and I mean

that's part of the the nice thing with the textured finish on it it will start

to look very nice what did you think of the pillory itself I thought it was

awesome I like again like I said numerous times in this review about the

you know the medieval look and it's kind of nice that someone the someone found a

kind of a niche thing too because you know the whole medieval

dungeon scene kind of thing this really does play into that and with it being

looked looking like it's been distressed and stuff is uh it's actually pretty

cool I really do like to be the fact that they put magnets in it for the the

caller pieces and the cuff pieces yeah all along here you've got magnets so

this just slides in and it will it just stays in place and that's a really

clever thing I am doing that with any other yeah no that's no that's that's

fantastic that's like bringing the modern touch to the medieval oh yeah

sure and another thing that's actually really neat about it is the fact that

you know it's almost a display piece right like we'll probably end up hanging

this up somewhere in the house or whatever because he's got plans to put

it in our living room above the television display it when we're not

using it so I'll post pictures on Instagram when we do yeah cuz that's

pretty cool right you know you can have friends come over and be like oh that's

kind of cool you know especially if you're like one of those people I like

to collect like you know the medieval swords or you know whatever collect like

props or something like that that this can actually can definitely go with that

because you know it's it's something you'd expect to see right it's a kinky

display piece you could actually put out and not out yourself yeah exactly

the other thing that was really cool is like again the antique look and with the

the carrying case I mean it looks like something you'd find in an antiques

market or like your grandmother's house or something oh yeah I had some secrets

yes indeed so that was kind of cool so you could have that out and people

probably wouldn't even bat an eyelash out it's because it's very discreet and

looks nice so but ya know it's it's very well done a lot of lot of effort went

into making this you can tell we both really liked this set if you're into

like role-playing or whatever I mean this is good for you if you're like a

kinky Dungeons & Dragons fan or fantasy roleplay definitely that this

this will be something for you that you'll definitely appreciate sure yeah

alright so there's two ways that you can hold hang this from the ceiling you can

hang it in this way and that way you will have the person sort of in a

standing position with their head and their wrists through the holes so the

other option is to hang it just from a single point in which case the person

would then be bent over in order to get their hands and wrists through it so

here is a quick example of how the person would be positioned in the

pillory so this is if we are hanging it just from a single point where they are

bent over and here is where we would be hanging it from four points they could

either be seated or standing so how does it feel I feels fine like it's got some

weight to it it's kind of nice it's like tight it's tight on my wrists but we've

got the inserts I've got some room with the neck but not a lot you know if we

put in the extra padding around the for the neck I would I wouldn't be able to

move as much with my neck around but no it's got some weight it's actually it's

kind of nice wears like one that we have it's the one that we actually already

have it's a really really loose like I have to wear like cuffs to actually you

know not be able to move it around and same with the call or like I'd have to

call her on to not move around either wise I can just slip out of it with this

one that's not the case so

all right guys thank you so much for watching this video I hope you enjoyed

the review of the Lauda Brock pillory set I won't try to say the German name

IS THIS $40 MOVO MICROPHONE BETTER THAN THE RODE MICROPHONES FOR VLOGGING? - Duration: 10:09.

sup everybody its Meech you tuned into on the radar it's my journey through

health fitness and tech cover early on the wait hold on hold on hold on

send up the day before we get started Acqua di gio check it out link in the

description scent of the day let's smell good let's get okay now we can continue

currently on the radar is the Movo VXR 10 it's a cool microphone that I've

tried I'm actually using it right now so if it sounds good let's get into it

I've been using the rode micro for over a year I originally got it as a backup a

cheap second options on my rode mic pro microphone

I like the mic Pro especially coming from using the onboard mic on my Canon

70d my sound quality picked up it was good had no issues the pros are the

shotgun mic saw obviously you improve your audio quality they're great for

vlogging close-quarter interviews the downside to the rode mic Pro is

definitely the cost has a fixed wire the batteries is good but it could be better

I needed another mic when I purchased my second camera I couldn't afford another

microphone not a mic Pro it's like $200 couldn't do that is the second option so

I decided to try to roll micro the price difference is about 220 dollars compared

to 60 bucks I didn't expect much but I knew it would be more than my on board

camera microphone so I was like alright you know what do I have to lose let me

just try it out to my surprise though the smaller less

expensive roll micro not only costs less but sounded better and was more

efficient to use it's smaller less intrusive it doesn't stick out sometimes

when it sticks out intimidates people when people have a big microphone in

their face and they're not usually used to you know being on camera make some

uncomfortable even better than that it doesn't require batteries like I was

saying it's powered by the camera so everybody including myself using of the

the rode mic Pro we've all lost footage because we'll forget to turn it on we'll

be shooting what we gotta shoot then we throw it on the computer put it in

production realized we lost all of the audio and we are screwd so that's

definitely a drawback so with the Rode micro you don't have to worry about it

you plug it in you're good to be honest with you I don't even use the rode mic

Pro anymore it really just sits around especially since I started using my lab

to Lavalier microphones to record most of my stationary audio like now definitely

when I'm running and gunning I used a rode micro other than that you know

daily vlogs and stuff like that definitely use the rode micro the other

day I came across this movo VX R 10 think that's right Im not good with numbers

anyway so its supposed to be less expensive than the rode micro and have

better sound quality and was supposed to be better at a cheaper cost sound has a

couple of extras like the carry case has the dead cat the dead cat is the little

fluffy thing the wind muffler a little round thing that you see on top of the

microphones it's called a dead cat it looks like a dead cat you can use the

also you can use the Movo on your smartphone and your computer

I don't think the not sure if the other one is the the rode is as versatile

but they definitely give you a separate wire that you can use to connect to your

smartphone and your computer so it's just more options more things you can do

with it compared to the rode Mic so I'm gonna do a test we're gonna test the

mobile VXR 10 to the Rode micro but let's really see which one is better so

let's get into it but first before I do that what I'm gonna do is I've been

talking on a lavalier microphone so obviously but the sound is fuller it's

clearer because it's right here pinned to my chest when you're using a shotgun

mic it's obviously off in the distance my camera is probably six or six or

seven feet away from me so when you're using a a shotgun

microphone you're gonna pick up more sounds in the in the environment you're

gonna pick up the space you're gonna get more hiss which we call noise so you're

gonna pick up all the extra stuff going on in the environment so that's one

thing you have to be conscious of also obviously the the shotgun microphones

are better at close range so the closer you are to the microphone it's gonna

pick up a better sound but a lot of times we use it in situations where

we're off in the distance so you just have to know when you have to expect

that you know that the difference is and and the drawbacks and the limitations to

these things um so it's pretty much it what I'm gonna do also is I'm gonna

switch to the onboard camera microphone first so that you hear where we start

off originally when we have no microphones and you're gonna hear that

test then I'm going to switch to the the road and AM ovo I'm gonna have them on

separate cameras right next to each other so you can hear the difference I'm

going to do a weight test when I'm standing at this

same distance then I'm gonna go more on a closer logging distance where I will

be holding the camera that be closer to me so you can be able to hear the

differences in the different situations so as you can see as a comparison I'm

using the onboard camera microphones it's not the greatest because I didn't

adjust the the volume levels but you still get a chance to see you know it's

not the best overall it could be a little bit better because I can see the

sound level so I know if I turn the microphone up you know it would be a

little bit stronger but still you can hear the difference how the audio is I

sound further away obviously because of the microphones not so close to me

alright so now we're back to the road in the mobile what's up everybody it's me

just is on the radar while we cover health fitness and tech throughout my

journey I'd like to make you aware of important things that pop up on my radar

what's up everybody it's me just is on the radar while we cover health fitness

and tech throughout my journey I'd like to make you aware of important things

that pop up on my radar this is about a six foot distance from me in the camera

now I'm gonna come a little bit closer to like vlogging distance so this is

kind of like basically like vlogging distance if I'm holding out the camera I

would generally turn the mic down a little bit at this point if I'm going to

be closer because obviously you know for obvious reasons if you're further back

you gotta turn the mic up if I'm gonna be extra loud but you guys still get the

point you'll still be able to see the difference in the microphone if I'm a

closer so if I was vlogging I'd probably holding a camera saying

something like um you know just talking about my latest gym session my newest

old school labs supplements like vintage bran protein vintage boat intro work out

link in the description 15% off if used the promo Kohl radar OS sale shameless

plug you know regular stuff I do when I'm vlogging you know talking about just

it's just those type of things my my favorite black seed oil you know link in

the description also for bio natal flaxseed oil

promo coal 5% off if you use the promo code link in the description type of

stuff you know as vloggers be doing so what's funny because playing this stuff

back I realized they all they sound very very similar actually I did

similar test off-camera yesterday and I noticed a difference more if I can find

that footage I'll add it into the video but alright so we're gonna test the role

microphone at an actual vlogging distance while I'm holding the camera so

just to give you guys a little bit of audio I think what you guys shouldn't

you should get everybody that you know to subscribe to my channel watch every

single video on there leave comments just through all that good stuff and

just you know say things that make me feel good and then just let you let me

know how much you appreciate all my different videos and stuff and just help

my channel just just just get a million three million ten million a billion

subscribers why not just try it out let's just make it happen you can do it

I believe in you you can do it so now we're switching to the mole vote and

like I was saying you guys can definitely you have the power in you I

believe in you guys you can do it you can do anything that you believe in so

send out emails tell everybody that you know talk all the other biggest channels

just tell everybody to just subscribe to my channel let's make my channel the

biggest channel on earth you can do it I know you guys believe in me I believe in

you guys to make it happen so why not let's just do it it'll make you feel

good it'll enrich your life it'll make you

feel better as a human I definitely noticed um when you when you come closer

you definitely they kind of sound similar but when you add more of a

distance I can hear where the mow volt does sound clearer it sounds a little

bit higher it's picking up more volume also the rope it has less hiss in the

background you might have to listen closely but in certain situations you're

gonna hit it hiss more and it's really annoying and you're gonna have to go in

post-production and play with it and and you know try to try to minimize it

sometimes it's good and it's effective sometimes it's not so it's just things

that you really have to look out for but for me definitely for the price point

and the versatility and the improve sound it's just allowed us a little bit

more fuller I definitely like the mofo over-the-road mic Pro I'm gonna keep

using it a little bit more to really really get you know more in depth with

it and see how I really feel over a long period of time so I'll keep you guys

Kim Kardashian West Shares the Workout That Helped Her Lose 20 Lbs.: 'My Abs These Days Look Good' - - Duration: 4:14.

After weighing "almost 140 forever," Kim Kardashian West says she's dropped down to 116 lbs

— and now she's sharing more about how she got there. The reality star, 37, posted a glimpse of her workout to her Instagram story on Saturday

She focused on her legs, and shared part of the rigorous routine: four sets of 15 front squats, four sets of 20 kettle bell swings (she uses a 30-lb

weight) and four sets of 30 hip thrusts. In another video the mom of three — North, 5, Saint, 2, and Chicago, 7 months — said her own mom, Kris Jenner, was asking for tips

"@krisjenner over here trying to steal my food plan & trainer" Kardashian West captioned the video with the crying-laughing emoji

She also shared that her "abs these days … look good" in a selfie style video. To tone up, the Kimoji creator has been working with personal trainer and former bodybuilder Melissa Alcantara

"I work out about an hour-and-a-half every single day, heavy weights," she told E! News

I don't do a lot of cardio. But honestly, like even my mom pulled me aside maybe a week ago and pulls me in a closet and is like, 'What are you doing?' She says, 'I don't care what, I just need to know

' I've been working out really hardcore with a bodybuilder for one year. September is our one-year anniversary

" She added, "I didn't see results right away, but when you stick with something and you're consistent, you will

So, I love it." Dropping the weight has also required changes to Kardashian West's diet

The main change? Cutting back on sugar and trying to eat healthier in general. "I don't really eat sugar the way that I used to

It doesn't really do it for me," she said. "I've kind of been trained to just eat a lot healthier than I used to

I used to just eat anything and everything and I loved it. … So I really do control that now

… I don't want to ruin it by just stuffing my face." According to Alcantara, they train together six days a week at 6 a

m., rotating through specific body parts: shoulders, biceps/triceps, and chest/back, as well as three days devoted to legs

They also do some cardio — either short bursts of high intensity, or longer, low-intensity walks

"She loves and hates leg days," Alcantara said in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE

"But she's committed! She knows what it takes, but it's also really grueling. It's heavy, it's killer, but she'll be like, 'Alright, let's do it!' She's a workhorse

Make a Doll Wig with Yarn - Doll Wig Techniques #1 - Duration: 34:50.

Hey everyone, I'm Lizfaerie and today I'm going to show you how I made these removable

wigs for my dolls.

I love this technique because I can switch out the doll's hairstyle, and I can use this

for pretty much any doll.

And best of all, you don't need to use any glue for this method, and I hate using glue

on my dolls so this technique was perfect for me.

This is going to be a 3-part tutorial series where I show you everything I've learned so

far about making doll hair.

In Part 1, I'll show you the basic techniques for making a doll wig with yarn, and how to

make a basic middle part wig with straight hair; In Part 2 I'll show you how to make

different styles of hair partitions; And in Part 3 I'll show you how to curl and style

the hair.

Some things you'll need for this tutorial are:

Some yarn to make the hair of the doll.

I'm going to make hair for my doll out of this yellow "Soft & Shiny" yarn from Loops

& Threads brand.

Using a softer yarn for the hair makes this technique a little easier, since the fibers

of softer yarns tend to be easier to pull apart.

Also, these yarns tend to be shiny, like real hair.

But you can use any worsted or Aran weight yarn for this technique.

You might want to use a different yarn for the wig cap.

I'll be using "Cornmeal" from Red Heart Super Saver for my wig cap.

I'm going to crochet my own wig cap, but you don't need to know how to crochet for this

technique.

You could make the wig cap out of a stretchy knit material, which I'll show you how to

do later in the video.

I'll also be using this yarn as a base for my wefts, because it's a little stronger than

the soft yarn.

You'll need a pair of scissors to cut the yarn.

You'll also need something to wrap the yarn around, to make all your strands the same

size.

I'm using this piece of cardboard that I cut to the length I want to make the hair.

If you like, you could use a grooming brush to give the yarn hair a more realistic look.

And use a straightener to straighten or curl the yarn when you're done.

To add the yarn to the wig and to make the wig cap, I'll be using a size E crochet hook,

but again, you don't need to know how to crochet to use this technique.

I'll just be using the hook to make it easier to pull the yarn through the wig cap.

You could also use a yarn needle to pull the yarn through the wig cap.

You'll also need a yarn needle to sew the wefts of hair in place

And of course you'll need the doll.

And the wig cap.

Again, I'm using a crocheted wig cap.

I'll also be using a hair elastic to finish the bottom of the wig cap, to make it easier

to stay on the doll without sewing it on.

But if you're making a wig for a bigger or smaller doll you could just use some regular

elastic sewn to the right size.

First, I'm going to add the elastic to the crocheted wig cap.

I'm going to leave the last row of the wig cap unfinished, so that I can add the hair

elastic in the last row.

So I have an unfinished wig cap here.

If you want to see how to make this style of wig cap in more detail, check out my crochet

wig cap tutorial.

I did a couple of things differently for this wig cap, though.

First of all, I made the wig cap out of a thinner yarn in a similar color, so that the

wig doesn't add too much bulk to the head of the doll.

You could use crochet thread for this.

I can't usually find crochet thread in the colors I need, so I'm going to split a 4-ply

Red Heart Super Saver yarn into 2 ply, to make it into a crochet thread-like size.

This technique won't work as well with a softer yarn, because the fibers of softer yarns pull

apart so easily.

So try to use something like Red Heart.

This may take a little while, especially if you're trying to do a large amount at a time.

So I usually just do small amounts.

I also made the wig cap a little bigger than the doll's head size, to make sure there's

room for the yarn ends inside the wig cap.

So I increased the wig cap for 4 rows, since I increased the size of the doll's head for

just 3 rows when I was making the doll.

Then I did 4 rows of single crochet to elongate the wig cap.

And I'm going to do my 5th row of single crochet around the hair elastic that fits around my

doll's head, to make the bottom of the wig cap stretchy.

So I'm going to do each stitch of this row around the hair elastic.

When I got to the end of that row, I slip stitched to the first stitch of my row, cut

off the yarn and sewed in the end.

Next I'll show you how to make a cloth wig cap.

To do this, I'll use: a stretchy knit material I got from an old sock; a hair elastic to

make the band of the wig cap; some pins; a pair of scissors; my doll; and a needle and

thread.

I'm going to use a yarn needle and crochet thread, but you could use a regular needle

and thread if you want.

So first I'm going to fasten the material over the doll's head, by wrapping it with

the hair elastic, around where the hairline would be.

Then I'm going to cut off the material, about a quarter of an inch from the elastic to add

a seam allowance.

Then I'm going to fold and pin that material over the hair elastic, and, using my yarn

needle and some thread, I'll sew it down.

Be careful not to sew the wig cap to the doll!

Then I'll flip the material inside out, so the sewn part is on the inside.

And that's it!

Now I can make a wig with this stretchy material wig cap in the same way I did with the crocheted

wig caps.

Because of the style of knit the sock was, I can insert my hook through the fabric and

pull the yarn through pretty easily.

But if you can't insert a hook through the material you used, just use a yarn needle

to pull through each strand of yarn for the hair instead.

Next I'm going to cut the yarn to make the hair.

To do that, I'm going to wrap the yarn around the cardboard that I cut to the length I want

to make the hair.

Then I'm going to cut through all the strands, on the same side where I started wrapping

the yarn.

And now I have a bunch of strands that are double the length I want the hair to be.

Next I'm going to make these strands into wefts.

To do that, I have a long strand of my split up crochet thread here.

I'm going to tie all the strands I just cut onto the long piece of thread, to make a weft

of yarn.

I'm going to use my hook to do this, just to make it faster, but if you want you could

just use your hands.

Just do it in the same way.

Take a strand, fold it at the middle.

Take the loop at the middle, and put it in front of the weft thread.

Then take the tails of the strand, put them behind the weft thread, so that the yarn strand

is almost wrapped around.

Then put the tails through the loop from behind.

And pull on the tails to tighten the loop.

For my first weft, I used 30 strands of yarn, but if you made a differently sized doll you

may need to use more, or fewer, strands.

Next I'll attach the weft to the wig cap using the crochet hook.

Once again, you could also use the yarn needle.

So I'm going to use my hook to pull each strand of yarn in the weft, through the stitches

of the wig cap, about a stitch up from the bottom of the wig cap.

Then to make this first row of hairs appear to be coming from the inside the wig cap,

I'm going to pull each strand back to the inside, through the bottom stitch.

This will better cover up the wig cap.

Hey everyone!

Lizfaerie from the future here!

It's been a couple weeks since I made this wig, and something about it was just bugging

me, so before we go on, I just want to show you a better way of doing the thing I literally

just showed you how to do, using this pink wig from the next part of the video series.

So if you notice, when I pull back the yarn hair in the first weft from the doll's face,

you see the band of the wig under that first weft.

And that's because of where we just threaded that strand.

I showed you to weave the strand through the stitches of the first row, above the edge,

then through the bottom stitch of the wig cap.

And as you can see, there's the band of the wig cap underneath.

If we do that higher up, though, in the next row, the strand will be coming from deeper

in the wig cap.

I'll show you what I mean.

This time, I'm going to pull the strand through, up a row, at the stitches of the second row.

Then pull the strand back through the stitches at the first row, to the inside of the wig

cap.

And now, as you can see, the strands are now covering the elastic band, because the weft

is coming from slightly deeper in the wig cap.

Then I'll just continue with the next weft, up a row from what you'll see me do next in

the tutorial.

The process is the same though.

This technique really helps if you're making a swept back hairstyle, like a bun or a ponytail,

where you'll be pulling the wefts to the back of the head.

But if you're doing a wig where the hair falls forward, it won't matter as much.

And now for the rest of the tutorial.

And now I just need to sew in the ends of the weft, to secure it in place.

Before I do that, I'm just going to stretch out the wig cap as much as I can, to make

sure I don't restrict the movement of the elastic.

The weft on the inside of the cap should have a zigzag shape to allow the wig cap to stretch.

Then I'm going to cut another 30 strands, to make another weft of yarn of the same size.

So I've tied the strands on each side of the wig into pigtails with some mini rubber bands,

just to keep them out of my way as I work.

For the next weft, I'll pull the yarn strands through in the same spot as the last row to

attach it to the wig cap, so that these strands are just a little higher than the first ones.

And you don't have to do this if you want, but to make the strands more secure, I'm going

to pull them around the next row up, to fasten them a little better to the wig cap.

So I'm going to insert my hook into the spot where I just placed the strands, then out

through the next row up.

And pull the strand through those stitches.

Then I'll pull on the strands to tighten them.

Then when I finish placing the strands of the weft, I'll sew in the ends.

And again, I'm going to stretch out the wig cap as much as I can before I sew the weft

down, to allow the wig cap to stretch.

Alright, I've finished placing, and sewing in, my next weft.

Next I need to make the wefts for the middle part of the hair.

To completely cover the wig cap with the middle part hair, I need to make sure there's a lot

of strands at the middle part.

So I'm going to actually double up the strands I tie onto the weft.

For my doll's middle part, I want to have 26 bunches of hair in each weft.

So I need to cut 52 individual strands, to make 26 doubled up bunches of hair.

And I'll be making 2 wefts like this, one for each side of the middle part, so I'll

actually need to cut 104 strands.

But if you made a smaller or bigger doll, you might need a different amount of bunches.

So I'll take 2 strands, line them up, and tie both onto the weft, the same way I did

before, with my crochet hook.

And then I'm going to add the hair to the middle part, one side at a time.

Once again I've tied the strands on each side into pigtails to keep them out of my way as

I work.

For this weft, I'll place each of my doubled-up strands right down the very middle of the

wig cap.

For the first strand of the middle part, the one that goes at the front of the head, I'm

going to attach it the same way I did for the very first weft of yarn.

I'm going to pull all 4 strands of the bunch in through the same spot I added the first

weft.

Then I'm going to pull the bunch through the stitch at the bottom, so that the strands

are at the inside of the wig cap.

Then I'm going to pull the next bunch through the same spot, but I'm just going to leave

that strand where it is.

Then I'll continue to add the rest of the strands all the way down the middle of the

wig cap.

For the very middle back of the head, it might be a little too tight to pull in all 4 strands

of yarn at once if you're using a crocheted wig cap.

Just pull the bunch through 1 or 2 strands at a time.

When I get to the bottom of the back of the wig cap, I'll do the same thing I did at the

front.

I'm going to pull the last bunch through the same spot I started the first weft.

Then, just like I did for the first weft, I'll pull the bunch through the bottom to

the inside of the wig cap.

And when you're finished, sew in the ends to secure the weft, the same way as before,

after stretching out the cap.

And then I'll do the same thing for the other side of the middle part.

Once again, I've tied the hair up into pigtails on each side with my mini rubber bands.

For this side of the middle part, I'll just pull the strands through the exact same place

I pulled the strands through for the last weft, so you can't see the wig cap in between

them at all.

So now I've finished adding the hair to the wig.

Next I'm going to try to make the hair a bit more realistic.

But of course, if you like the yarn hair look, you could just leave it as-is.

The first thing I need to do to make the hair look more realistic is to pull apart each

strand of yarn but untwisting it.

You don't have to do this if you want, you could just skip to the next step.

But if you do, you might lose a lot of the length of the hair.

So to preserve that length I like to pull apart the strands.

Even if it takes a really long time.

Now I've finished pulling apart each strand of yarn.

Now I'll use the grooming brush, to brush out the fibers of each strand of the yarn.

This will give the yarn a more hairlike appearance.

This is also optional; if the character that you're making has thick hair with a light

curl, you could leave it as it is.

So I'm going to take small bunches of the hair, and slowly brush out each bunch from

the tips down to the roots.

Every once in a while, you'll need to pull a little ball of fluff off of the brush.

Don't throw it away, though!

Save it and use it to stuff a pillow or another doll.

Especially if the yarn is a different color than white.

Its virtually impossible to find fiberfill in different colors than white, and if you

use fluff of the same color to stuff your crocheted dolls, you won't notice as much

of the fiberfill color bleeding through the doll.

Particularly if you're not the best at maintaining high tension, and tend to make hole-y dolls.

I've noticed this helps a lot with darker dolls.

Next I'm going to straighten the hair.

This is also optional; if the character that you're making has hair with a wispy, light

curl, maybe this hair is already perfect.

But I'm just going to make this character with long, straight hair.

So I'll use my straightener.

Forgive the slightly dimmer lighting for this part!

The yarn hair was so shiny that I had to turn off my main light to keep from blinding myself!

Anyway, I have this mini straightener, at a low temperature.

Then I'll take small bunches of the hair, just like I did when I was brushing it, and

straighten each bunch of hair, as close to the wig cap as I can get.

I like to use the grooming brush to separate the hair into bunches, and to give each bunch

a little brush out after straightening.

Sometimes I like to go over the hair bunch a second time, since I'm using such a low

temperature.

And now the wig is done!

I hope you liked this doll hair tutorial.

There's a lot of other ways you could customize your doll's wig, like curling the hair in

cuts you could give the hair.

I'll talk more about that in the next part of the video.

Spillin' The Tea: The Truth About Being Single In Your 30's - Duration: 13:56.

Hey guys The Pretty Witch here.

Welcome back to my channel.

So today I'm going to be doing a completely different series called Spillin The Tea.

Now if you don't know what Spillin' The Tea means it basically just means disclosing any

information or gossiping.

So today I'm going to be telling you the truth about what it's like being single in your

thirties.

Now before we get into the actual video let's just take care of some quick housekeeping.

Don't mind my hair it's a little bed headish today.

Also if you're new here or you haven't already done so please go ahead hit that subscribe

button.

I'm trying to reach one thousand subscribers and I am so close so it would mean the world

to me.

So please please please just hit that subscribe button.

It's easy to do and it's free.

And most of all it just means you get to see more of me.

Okay so I'm about to be thirty four years old.

I'm single.

I have been single for several years now.

I have dated on and off in those few years but nothing's really become serious.

You know most of the time being single can be pretty great but there are situations where

it draws unwanted attention like you know going to weddings or family gatherings and

everybody's there with their husbands and their kids and you're just the awkward one

sitting at the kid table.

For the most part I try not to let my relationship status get to me but yes I would like to meet

someone special.

It would be nice of they did hurry up and get here.

A lot of times being single and happily single isn't really spoken about too much.

A lot of times it's frowned upon.

So the issues I kind of run into at my age being single is a lot of times the older generation.

Sorry I don't know why I'm getting emotional.

I'm going to try to get through this video without crying.

I don't know why I'm crying.

I should be happy.

Anyways so a lot of issues I run into being single at my age is a lot of times the older

generation of people friends family whatever will kind of be like why are you still single.

You're so beautiful.

Why is someone like you still single.

And you know sometimes it makes you feel like there's something wrong with you.

Like you're not deserving of love.

I find in my thirties you kind of tend to be a little bit more picky with what you want

because of what I've been through in life.

Now if you've watched some of my previous videos you know the struggle that I went through

in a previous relationship and how much it kind of broke me and ruined my soul and it

took a lot of healing to get to the place where I am now and because I reached that

place I kind of have set my standards pretty high.

So another issue I deal with is.

Sigh I don't know why I'm getting so choked up.

Another issue that I deal with is you're kind of left alone a lot of times because by now

most of your friends are kind of married with kids and then your friends get together.

Their kids play together and you kind of don't have that same thing in common.

Whereas I want to go out to maybe a nice bar or a patio and have a drink and maybe try

and meet somebody while I'm out but there's nobody to go out with because your friends

have to be home because their kids have to go to bed early or you know.

So when it actually comes to dating life at my age I basically have to resort to online

dating which is a pretty scary thing nowadays.

And a lot of times I'm finding I'm either getting men who are way too young that are

interested or the complete opposite that are way too old.

The guys my age which is what I'm looking for someone you know between thirty four or

thirty seven would be my nice age bracket.

But they're still not ready to grow up.

I don't know what it is with this culture and this time that we're living in.

I just I don't know what it is.

I'm not ruling out a guy that is in his fourties but usually what happens at that point is

the guy that's in his fourties is probably already divorced with kids.

And I'm still not ruling out the possibility that I want to have kids one day so the likelihood

this person will want to have more kids is probably slim to none.

Or they could probably have had a vasectomy for all I know.

I have no idea.

Sorry guys I just had to take a break.

I'm getting kind of choked up here.

I didn't think this video was going to be so hard to do.

So what else usually happens if I meet a guy that's usually around my age because my clock

is ticking you know I know what I want in life.

I'm looking for someone who's wanting to settle down and you know have something serious.

But if you're out on like a first date and these are the topics that you bring up with

the guy.

Cuz I don't want to waste my time.

I don't want to date somebody for like three months and find out this guy is not wanting

anything serious at all.

Like I want to be point blank straight to the point like this is what I'm wanting out

of life like and usually if you bring that topic up too early it will usually send the

guy running or you look crazy.

So what really bothers me.

Okay so this is going to be hard.

What really bothers me at my age is that within the last 2 years I lost both my grandparents.

Both nine months apart.

I just struggle with guilt that I let them down because they're never going to get to

see me have kids.

I have videos and I look back on them all the time and photos and I see my grandparents

holding my cousin's kids and how happy they look and I'm not going to get to see that

witness that experiernce that love.

I need to get a kleenex.

Hold on.

So the other thing I kind of deal with when dating is my looks.

Now I'm not saying I'm this bombshell or anything.

I know like I'm beautiful but I don't think I'm like that gorgeous and I don't understand

it but most people think because of my looks that I shouldn't be single.

But it's the exact opposite.

It's men either look at me as a piece of meat because of how I dress and because of like

my social media but I do all that because I'm trying to build that as a career and I

look at fashion and makeup as art not as like.

That's not who I am like in terms of like I don't go out trying to seek attention.

I don't want to be a stripper or any of that kind of thing.

Like what you see on my social media all those like glam pictures that's not how I go out

everyday.

That's not what I am.

But I've been told by men that you can't expect to find anybody decent the way that you dress

or the way that you look.

So am I supposed to change who I am to find a man.

I know men like girls in jeans and tee shirts and sneakers and I wear that stuff.

I do that.

It's just I'm a girlie girl.

I like to be girly.

I want to find a guy who can appreciate that and understand that without looking at me

as an object or like something sexual.

I don't know what do you guys think.

Do you think I should change.

Is that something should I tone down my image in order to find somebody.

I don't know.

I'm sorry if this video is like scattered and all over the place.

It's just my mind is like racing and I don't know what to say.

I don't even know like where to meet anybody nowadays like the whole online thing I just

don't like doing it.

I don't have friends that know people.

That's the best way to meet somebody is by being introduced to somebody.

Because a lot of times I will get messages from guys online and you know they'll say

they're interested in meeting me but a lot of times I will just say I'm already dating

somebody or I'll just ignore them because I'm so scared.

Like scared.

It's terrifying putting yourself out there and being constantly let down.

So a lot of the guys might just think I'm a brat but what they don't understand is it's

because deep down I'm terrified.

Like men scare the shit out of me.

I've been through so much and I'm just.

It's draining and emotionally exhausting constantly putting yourself out there.

The other reason I'm scared to put myself out there is because I'm insecure about my

financial economic status whatever.

I'm doing this YouTube and my Instagram because I'm trying to build a career because I can't

really do anything else because of my medical condition.

So it's hard to kind of when you meet somebody for the first time say hey I don't work.

I don't really have a lot of money.

I can't go out all the time on these like fancy expensive dates because I can't contribute

and pay for everything.

So I just have that fear and I hold myself back from meeting someone because I'm so terrified

to just say hey listen like you know I don't work.

I have a medical condition but hey.

Like what guy is going to understand that.

The other thing is like social media ruins everything nowadays.

Like I'm the type of person I'm very emotional and I get hurt very easily because I've been

through a lot so trust is a big thing for me.

So if I'm seeing somebody and dating somebody and they're

going around online and liking

photos of like strippers or women with their cleavage out that's not appropriate in my

eyes.

Like I'm sorry I don't and I know men are visual creatures and what not but and if it's

not a big deal than what's the big deal about not liking the photo.

I don't know.

I don't know maybe I'm just too picky or my insecurities and my trauma from dating is

like just holding me back from truly meeting somebody.

But at the same time you know maybe I have to realize that being single is my path and

maybe I'm meant to stand up on my own and be my own person and be strong and who needs

a man right.

I can go adopt thirty seven cats I don't care.

I know being single is just going to allow me to have more time to kind of focus on my

career my youtube and my Instagram and hopefully things will take off so that could be a benefit.

Obviously there's no drama I have to deal with.

I don't have to deal with wondering if my man's going online talking to other women

or cheating etcetera so I guess that's another plus.

I just basically have to start dating smarter I guess.

You know alone time for me isn't all that scary.

I was always kind of a loner anyways and I do like my alone time.

I just like you know snuggling up in bed and doing crosswords.

I'm kind of a nerd I know.

I don't even honestly know why I made this video.

It ended up becoming this emotional roller coaster and I started making this video in

hopes of just making something funny and making light of the situation and then sigh I don't

know what happened.

But yeah I don't know what the purpose of this video is.

Maybe it's just like a cathartic cleansing for me.

I don't know.

This is a message for men out there.

You know grow up.

Don't play with girl's emotions.

Don't lead women on.

Don't let her think you're into something more serious when you're not.

You know don't be that douchebag that just tries to get into a girl's pants.

Because the thing is like maybe you are meeting an actual decent good hearted girl and you

don't know the journey that that girl is on.

You don't know what she's been through so don't mess with her emotions.

Alright guys well this is getting too emotional for me.

This wasn't even the plan or point of this video.

So I'm just lost in thought right now.

My mind's racing and I just don't want to film anymore right now because I'm too upset.

Anyways the whole point again was I was trying to start this new series called Spillin' The

Tea and talk truth about things.

If there are topics that you would like me to get real about.

Maybe like some bad dating experiences.

I don't know.

Let me know comment down below.

I hope all those other single women out there aren't feeling as lonely as me.

And if you are let's keep our heads up together.

Give me a thumbs up if you liked the video.

Check out any of my latest videos.

Be sure to follow me on social media.

American Animals Explained: A True Story About A Heist Gone Wrong - Analysis - Duration: 5:51.

American Animals is one of the best and most overlooked movies of 2018 so far.

A cross between light comedy and pretty dark drama, the film is one of the most unique

out there just because of the way it's filmed and formatted, telling the true story of a

library heist gone wrong by jumping between interviews of the actual people who committed

the crime, and scenes featuring actors playing these people.

Going in I didn't know what to really expect, but American Animals has a deep message, which

can be easily explained, about the importance of making the most of your life, and the fear

we all have of growing old and being filled with regret, and not spending your youth doing

exciting things and following your passion.

The movie is based on the true story about four college students who, due to feeling

bored and passionaless in their lives, decide to steal a very valuable edition of John James

Adubon's The Birds of America book, which is said to be worth millions and millions

of dollars.

The book is displayed at the Transilvyania University in Lexington, Kentucky, and the

actual heist took place in 2004.

Spencer Reinhard is the one who first spots the book after being given a tour of the library.

He's an art student who feels lost for some reason, and doesn't know what to make out

of his life and if he's actually passionate about pursuing art.

Then you have his friend Warren Lipka, played by Evan Peters, a maverick and the wild card

of the group who isn't even good at any one particular thing.

An early scene of the movie sees Warren trying to steal frozen meat from the back of a store,

giving you an indication of the type of person we're dealing with here.

The other two guys in the group are Eric Borsuk, a sort of a loner, and Chas Allen, the meathead

of the group who gets dragged into doing the heist.

Now the actual main plot you see unfold in American Animals is ridiculous but nothing

highly original or spectacular.

It's four kids essentially way in over their heads trying to steal a piece of valuable

art.

If you don't already know how the actual story plays out and ends, well, the four guys

don't get away with the crime.

They leave the librarian guarding the book, Betty Jean Goch, with extreme PTSD and trauma

as they tied her up and threatened her while stealing the book.

But they drop most of the valuable material while running away because, well as I've

said, they're way in over their heads.

And eventually, they all get caught because of their inability to cover their tracks.

But the real meat of the story and film here, and the way the story is presented has a lot

to do with it, is watching the actual four guys discuss their heist and be quite saddened

with it.

You see, they all spent 7 years in federal prison, and seeing the older versions of the

four guys retell the tale, with tears in their eyes and filled with regret, is something

to truly behold.

Spencer brought up the whole heist in the first place because he felt he was wasting

his youth away.

He felt stuck in Lexington, he wanted to get out somehow.

He wanted to make something of himself and not wither away and ultimately be forgotten.

This fear that we all share as human beings.

The fear of aging, the fear of pursuing our dreams and failing, the fear of being filled

with any ounce of regret.

And we all fear this because it is truly scary.

Spencer's three friends went along with this heist because, as young college kids,

they had that same fear.

They hated how their lives were turning out and were envisioning a future where it was

equally as boring.

But the darkly ironic thing here is, by doing the heist, they destroyed their youth themselves.

They ruined their lives and made it worse for themselves.

For example, Spencer still lives in Lexington after all these years, and he's painting

for a living.

Just like he feared, but the only difference is he spent 7 years in jail.

Warren went back to college, Eric is a struggling writer, and Chas is a personal trainer at

a gym.

Nothing remarkable.

The real Betty said something incredible towards the end of the film.

She believes the four guys wanted an easy way out with leading exciting lives.

They did not want to work to achieve being happy with themselves and their existence.

It was a cheap way out.

I see this as an analogy for the way modern societies rely on material things to satisfy

our lives.

We show off our homes, cars, clothes, etc. to please and impress other people all in

attempt to feel happy.

But it ultimately doesn't work, as we all find out one way or another this isn't the

answer to happiness.

It will make our lives more convenient and easier, don't get me wrong, but it won't

make it happier.

Because life is an incredibly painful journey to figuring out what does actually makes us

happy.

After all, that is what life is really about.

That is the struggle we all share.
