Bridget McCain Ethnicity & Background: Where Is She From? | Heavy.com - Duration: 4:12.

Bridget McCain Ethnicity & Background: Where Is She From? | Heavy.com

Bridget McCain is mourning the loss of her father, Senator John McCain, with her mom, Cindy, and her siblings.

Bridget McCain is from Bangladesh, a South Asian country that is located just east of India.

Bridget McCain was raised in the United States and is American, for all intents and purposes.

Bridget McCain was adopted by Cindy and John McCain back in 1991.

At the time, Cindy traveled to Bangladesh without her husband, and visited an orphanage run in Dhaka, the country's capital.

Cindy brought two children back to the U.S.

with her, according to the Independent.

"The Senator's wife brought them to the US, because they both faced acute health challenges.

Nikki had a heart condition and Bridget suffered from a cleft palate so severe she could not be fed," the outlet reported.

Upon arriving home, Cindy and the children were met at the airport by her husband, John McCain.

He looked at Bridget, who was just a baby at the time, and asked his wife what was going on.

Cindy McCain told her husband that the child was his — and he was delighted.

"I remember John's face.

That day he was not the tough war hero senator.

He was like every other new father, full of love and emotion," longtime McCain family friend, Wes Gullett, said at the time.

He and his wife adopted the other child that Cindy brought home to the U.S.; they named her Nikki.

Back in 2008, John McCain took his daughter Bridget on the campaign trail with him.

Now, Bridget has been front and center once more, as she bids farewell to the man who raised her.

On Thursday, August 30, Bridget McCain read a Bible verse at her dad's memorial service at North Phoenix Baptist Church.

"There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens.

A time to give birth, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant," Bridget McCain read from Chapter 3 of Ecclesiastes.

Bridget McCain is expected to be with her family at Friday's formal ceremony, which will be held in the Capitol Rotunda.

On Saturday, there will be another memorial service for Senator McCain, this time at the Washington National Cathedral.

He is to be buried at the United States Naval Academy Cemetery in Annapolis, Maryland, shortly thereafter.

September starts just the way you like, although you may have to manage some self-esteem challenges.

My tip: use this to help you.

When you feel down, put your head in place and go on - the New Moon on the 9th will explain how

The second part of the month is very money focused, and it can appear from the moment

you put in enough energy at work.

The problem is that you'll be too stuck in routine, and some wish to go further won't

be satisfied.

Beware of frustration!

And if you think you have escaped resolving thought patterns that affect your relationships…

you thought wrong.

The end of the month can bring a lot of opportunities to think about that.

Solve it once and for all.

Take note: dealing with self-esteem: the whole month; money coming in: second half of the

month; reviewing relationship patterns: end of month.

Baixe o app Star Walk 2 - Duration: 7:37.

Hi everyone, I am Étore and this is my channel.

Today's video is a suggestion of our Friend Vander Eduardo

he asks to make a video about Android and computer apps

about astronomy. Well this is going to do about the Android app

I believe it will be useful for many you, if you sent me a suggestion and I

have not done yet, Wait, I'll be doing

fortunately the suggestions are many, but I'll do it, I promise, and the application

what we are going to talk about today is Star Walk 2 available for Android and IOs.

So let's see step by step: go to the Play Store Apple Store or Store

applications depending on your system and type is StarWalk2

so all together. Star Walk 2 is the first app that will appear

then tap your thumb on it, click the install button will start after the

download and shortly after installation, wait, Open the application, it has this

layout a very beautiful layout in the main menu you have the option "What

Novelty": here you will find the main

astronomical phenomena that occurred the interesting thing about this application is that it

also notifies you of key phenomena that will occur

lunar eclipse, solar, rainfall meteors, moon phases and more!

Within each phenomenon you can click and it gives you a summary of the data from the

event pointing your smartphone to the sky

you can with ease identify constellations, stars

planets or sun to moon but this does not need to! the drawing of super conspiracies

animated is very easy to identify the with this application. In the main menu

you have several options: "What's new" I already said, "The live sky" showing the

various data from the sky on that day as sunrise and sunset the sunrise and sunset

Moon the phases of the Moon, the sunrise and sunset of the planets visible to the naked eye the Star

Wars 2 is simply too much, but as every good app does not go away for free

Star Walk 2 though you can use freely

You are not free of the most is a way of the creators of the good application

are being remunerated for their beautiful work on the iPhone version

I did not notice any interruptions advertising but for Android

there are many interruptions you can buy package to get rid of those

advertisements as well as packages additional options:

You can buy these packages. as well as you can also

use it for free Just watch a little advertising.

meanwhile, in the main menu we we have the night mode is so the screen stays

ideal for you to see your Star Walk 2 in the dark without obfuscating

your eyes because with dazed eyes you you will see much less in the sky, in Satar Walk 2

you can see that the ecliptic is the imaginary line in the sky where the

Sun and it is in this line that follows also the other planets with a little

of bypass see for example Jupiter! In visual effects you can set the

atmosphere the horizon line the water, that water that appears in the

the bottom of the application, rain meteors and other options like the sounds

music and special effects and effects visuals in location

the application shows its location in coordinates, very useful when you have

lost and you have to call the police the constellations have an incredible effect,

to locate a star, just point the cell phone for this star and your

application will already name this star as well as its constellation in which

belongs to If you want to know which star

after your cell phone to him and his that will give the name: it is the Sun! on the corner

right is the clock where you can set the date and time

for you to see a future event you can advance the date

a past event you can go back to date and the upper left side we

here we have the compass, it has the function of compass, is this locate north south east

west, to use your compass. Do not forget to calibrate the

to your smartphone, on Android you must lower the compass and follow the

instructions in settings to make the calibration of the compass other than you

you will be bewildered! you can calibrate your light through the

own star walk or through the compass, I I prefer the search because so you

has greater control of this calibration located the star you can zoom

or not if you want a zum, zum, if do not want to not give Here you are

the constellation of the swan and its top stars

realize that it is possible also satellite but not all satellites, to see

all satellites you must download the package and pay for it, it's

logical, here in the lower left corner Are you seeing a small magnifying glass?

this magnifying glass to locate the subject for example is to locate

Mercury, type Mercury see the Milky Way with all its

fullness that's how we can see it since

you are in an ideal place of observation: away from city lights and depending

also of time, see the Milky Way directly from the field is really

spectacular and that's all I have to tell you about the application

star walk 2 has many more features as which ones do you discover over time?

my rating is a great app I found the ads in access, but this

it's easy to solve just buy the app i do not

I bought. I hope you like this video that stop commenting what you found

of this video depending on acceptance I will be doing

more videos like this, leave your like Comment ... suggestions

Legends (Jurassic Clips)

hello friends, all right today I'll do the part 2 about the terrible megalodon ti well

let your like sign up to activate the bell of notifications and we go to the glasses

carcharocles or carshalton megalodon also called megalodon ti the shark

giant white was a kind of giant shark that lived between 2013 and

2.6 million years ago in the period miocene in the pacific ocean

the teeth are in many ways similar to those of the current white shark

carcharodon carcharias but with one size that can exceed 17

centimeters in length reason why one can consider the existence

of close kinship between the species

however some researchers opinion that the similarities between the

both animals are the product of a process of convergent evolution by

cause of his great teeth that the they named megalodon ti which means

huge tooth and if shark was also quoted in one of my theories

geographic channel size of this creature was between 15 and 20

meters with a mass that could reach 50 tons

in some early reconstitutions exceeded they had compliments which

could reach 30 meters but it is known today that omega london ti probably

did not exceed 20 to 24 meters in 1995 a proposal was made to

move the species to a new genus carcharocles this question is not yet

all settled many paleontologists advocate inclusion

in the cris dog genre that includes three other species while others

maintain the connection with the white shark include both animals of the genus

good dog the dog advocates liz opinion

that the most likely ancestor of the megalodon ti was the species or all

of the ocean while the shark protection of the species and interest

teles believes that the media london adult teams fed on whales

and which have become extinct when the polar seas became

too cold for your survival allowing the whales to

thrive during the summer even more became famous in the film

omega shark released very recently an animal of more than 40 tonnes

of muscle strength according to reports from the

renaissance was believed to gigantic triangular fossil teeth

often found encrusted rocky information belonged to

dragons and snakes this interpretation was corrected in 1667

by the Danish naturalist Nicolau which recognized them as teeth of

shark he produced a famous representation of

a shark's head with such teeth having described his findings in the

book lead off to find you say you also contained an illustration of a

tooth of being deny it good the Swiss naturalist louise agassiz was

who gave the shark its first name scientist carcharodon megalodon in 1835

in his research work recherche sur le poisson the possible searches

about fossil fish in free translation completed in 1843

the teeth of the megalodon thymus morphologically similar to the teeth

of the white shark based on this observation agassiz

categorized the species within the genus good dog although the scientific name

be sown london is often informally dubbed shark

giant white or monster shark bite could weigh more than 20

tons of prison sharks often employ

complex hunting strategies large prey

some paleontologists suggest that great shark hunting strategies

can offer clues as to how big megalodon ti could have knocked out

extremely large prey such as whales but the fossil evidence

suggests that being megalodon was more effective strategies to capture large

compared with 11 protects maids by the great shark

White paleontologists have performed a

fossil survey to determine the c6 london attack patterns with the

prey during the pliocene cetaceans very large and advanced disappeared

the megalodon ti was apparently more refined with their hunting strategies

to deal with these great whales numerous fossilized bones of

fins or segments of the pectoral fins and caudal vertebrae

of large proscenium whales were found with bite marks that

were caused by magallon attacks chivas

this paleontological evidence suggests that ômega london ti tried to immobilize a

big whale tearing the bite of your propulsion structures before killing and

feed on her The young pouches were not

enough to attack teeth whales of young people were generally found

in shallow water suggested that these Great sharks lived near the coasts

and with that they should probably have discarded large fish and

small mammals such as b sectors

Unbelievable: Government Wants X-Men Soldiers - Duration: 7:15.

Have you never wondered

what your government can do

with people with paranormal abilities?

People with paranormal powers

for remote viewing

as spy for the government.

Before we delve into it.

Subscribe to this channel by clicking

the red subscribe button

followed up by clicking

the bell notification icon

next to it

so you will never miss a video

if you like deep, unbiased, mind blowing

content.

I believe in the paranormal

That's why I think it's time to share

this true story with you.

Why I believe in the paranormal

will be explained later in this video

The world has more than

7.5 billion people.

Only a small percentage know

how to use their paranormal gift.

You hear it right

everyone

including you

is PSYCHIC.

This would have to do with your

pineal gland

that is polluted by

what we eat

and drink

so we are not in connection

with this sense that we all have.

Go from supermarket food

to organic food.

Do not touch meat anymore

and only drink pure water.

You will notice what happen to you

People with a paranormal gift are

People like the Dutch psychic

Peter van Hurk

who helps the police

with murder cases.

Annemarie Smit

with whom I had an interview

that talks with the dead

or Uri Geller

who can do more than just

bending spoons.

Like, remote viewing.

What is remote viewing?

Remote viewing is when a person

can observe something

over a long distance.

The paranormal is a huge benefit

for the government.

What if I tell you that they planned

to use paranormal people as spies?

I want to read in the comment section

how you think about the paranormal.

The best or funniest comment

will be shown in the next video

like this one.

American research journalist

Annie Jacobsen

has delved into the

decades-long research

of the American government

into people with paranormal abilities

like Uri Geller.

In the seventies,

the Israeli ex-soldier

Uri Geller pulled the attention

of the intelligence community

because he could bend spoons with

his mind and read thoughts of others.

The intelligence would think

If they can read the minds of other

government officials

they might take a look at a

nuclear facility in Russia.

It is a kind of top-secret black operation

within a black operation.

They did not want the Russians and

Chinese

find out they are using psychics

They didn't want that their colleagues

would find out because they shame

about that.

The journalist Jacobsen noted that

the Kremlin also experimented

for some time with people

With paranormal abilities

In a released document

it's clearly and literally

stated

that the Pentagon is worried that

Uri Geller could possibly disrupt

the electronic systems

of a nuclear missile.

In the eighties

the US Defense Intelligence Agency DIA

began the Stargate Project.

Dean Radin, a scientist

who was part of this secretive project

told that this was top classified.

The US government hired

psychics and mediums

in order to spy.

And it worked, says scientist Radin.

Angela Ford worked nine years

on the Stargate Project.

Although she herself 'medium'

refers to the Ministry of Defense

would rather use the term

remote viewer

Angela Ford was good at finding people

Angela Ford was good at finding things

Ford localized hostages and fugitives

from a building at Fort Meade

in Maryland.

Although the program was terminated

in 1995

the US military is still investigating

the paranormal.

They are highly interested

if soldiers can feel

what's going to happen

called precognition.

Just imagine, soldiers with

paranormal abilities.

The perfect soldier!

Now, back

why I believe in the paranormal.

My girlfriend has an acquaintance

in Belgium

whose mother is a psychic.

That psychic could tell that

her ex-boyfriend was bisexual and

later it turned out to be true.

That psychic had described me

as the future boyfriend.

Someone who did everything

but she could not explain exactly

what job I did

because I do so much.

The psychic described our temporary crib

in Belgium.

An attic-like home with some sort of

weird terrace

but it isn't really a terrace.

The psychic was right again

It was not really a terrace

but the flat roof of the downstairs

neighbors.

Before I forget

your support is very hard needed.

I ask you to support me

if you appreciate my work

and want me to stay on Youtube.

Corn Cheese (콘치즈) - Duration: 8:35.

(upbeat music)

- Hi everybody!

Today, let's make corn cheese.

Have you ever heard about corn cheese?

Made with a can, a can of corn.

Do you like corn?

I love corn.

Probably I mentioned a couple of times.

Usually, I love fresh corn, steamed corn.

That's my favorite.

But, when I make corn cheese,

I have to use this canned corn

because that's the recipe.

Probably, you saw that when you go to Korean restaurant,

Barbecue restaurant or even at a Korean bar.

They just bring side dishes, many side dishes.

One of the side dishes you probably saw,

it's like bubbling cheese on top

and canned corn under.

When I lived in Korea, actually,

I don't remember it at all.

I had never seen this corn cheese.

It's kind of made recently.

When I visited Korea, also a lot of restaurants,

they serve this and also in Los Angeles

and any Korean restaurant in America,

They also serve this.

Bubbling cheese, who wouldn't like it?

(giggling)

This is so delicious.

That's why, very popular.

If you make it at home, you can add more vegetables,

colorful vegetables, if you like

More cheese, you can add more cheese.

But, this is my own version

and you'll see.

"Oh, Maangchi added this!"

You'll be surprised.

Let's start.

Let's strain this.

These days, when you visit Korean grocery stores,

in the kitchenware section,

they sell all kinds of stuff,

made of hemp or cotton cloth, you know, all kinds of it.

So I found this.

It's a filter.

Very sturdy.

Or otherwise, it's just a cheese cloth

is really working well, too.

No matter what method you use, just squeeze out.

Even with your bare hands.

Who cares?

Isn't it?

"Maangchi, I cannot make corn cheese

because I don't have cotton cloth!"

Don't ever say that!

Use your hands!

And squeeze out excess water.

OKay, like this.

Look at that.

Nice, eh?

My corn is here and also, I like

to add some colorful vegetables.

Start with onion, just a little.

Around one ounce.

You know that, eh?

Just mince.

Red bell pepper.

Now green pepper.

I will just put this all chopped one into here.

How can I remove excess water from this?

Any idea?

Yes, I will just add a pinch of salt.

Okay, so, five minutes I'm going to salt this,

and then squeeze. Then ready to cook!

And also, this is mayonnaise.

I will add some mayonnaise.

"Oh, what kind of mayonnaise?"

Actually, mayonnaise is just necessary

because otherwise, it's not going to mingle.

Strangely, the mixture of mayonnaise,

and corn, you know, canned corn, and butter

make really good combination of the flavor.

Let's start cooking.

Medium-high heat.

Butter, one tablespoon.

And let's add corn.

I'm going to stir fry this corn about two to three minutes.

And then, let's squeeze out this vegetable.

Keep stirring.

Squeeze out.

Look at this! Lots of water's coming out.

More than one tablespoon.

So, a few minutes later, add

colorful vegetables together.

Nice!

Very beautiful, eh?

Colorful.

Let it cool down. Meanwhile,

I will just heat it up.

This is my cast iron pan.

This guy is really, really slowly, slowly heated up.

Let's add mayonnaise, about quarter cup.

Sugar, around one tablespoon.

And mix.

Then, I'll bring my cheese.

Cheese ball!

Mozzarella cheese, around four to six ounces you can add.

Now, this my pan is heated

I'm going to add this here.

Rice cake, about two ounces.

Rice cake will go well with this together.

It was frozen so I just thawed out in the refrigerator.

And cheese.

I will turn down the heat to low heat.

And rice cake.

Just add here.

Look at that!

Oh, it's bubbling!

If you don't use oven, keep cooking

until all cheese is melted and then you can eat it.

But, I would use just a little bit broil function

to make it more, the cheese is bubbling.

I'll wait until it's a little scorched.

I have to keep an eye on this.

Bubbling cheese!

Everybody loves that. And then we can eat it!

Done!

Let's check it out!

Yeah.

Look at that.

It looks like marshmallow but this is rice cake!

It really goes well with beer or soju.

I'll just have beer.

Cheers everybody!

Oh, so good!

Let me taste!

Look at this.

This is so hot.

Happy, happy!

Before eating one bite, I'm always happy.

You, too?

(upbeat music)

Today, we made corn cheese.

Enjoy my recipe.

See you next time!

Bye!

Lawmakers Get $280,000 From Their Tax Cut Bill While Workers' Wages Fall - Duration: 4:06.

Well, the latest round of numbers are in, and as it turns out, only 0.007% of employers

here in the United States said that they have or they plan on giving their workers a raise

or a one-time bonus as a result of the Republican tax cut package.

That number is even lower than previous surveys had found.

Previously, it was about 13% said they had or would be giving bonuses or raises to their

employees.

Now it's 0.007% are going to get anything from this Republican tax cut.

And those are the workers.

The corporations, the companies, the business owners, they got their tax cut.

But you know who else did?

Republican lawmakers.

And, hell, Democratic lawmakers, too.

But Democrats voted against the legislation.

Republicans, there are 53 of them in the US House of Representatives.

53 who are going to be getting a tax cut of at least $280,000 per year.

They are so wealthy, these 53 Republicans, that they are saving $280,000 every year under

their own tax cut plan.

Of course, let's not forget poor little multimillionaire, Vern Buchanan, a Republican congressman from

the state of Florida, who immediately after signing the legislation voting yes for it,

went out and bought himself a multimillion dollar yacht literally that afternoon.

He voted in favor of tax cuts.

He knew he was going to save anywhere between 2.1 million and 5 million, and then later

that day, went and spent, according to expense reports, anywhere between 2.1 million and

5 million on a brand new yacht.

He literally calculated how much he was going to save from his own legislation, took that

exact amount of money, and bought himself a yacht with it.

But you get nothing.

You've got nothing from this Republican tax cut.

Yet, right now, we have Republican politicians, Republican think tanks, Republican business

groups out there running attack ads against people who had the audacity to vote against

the tax cut package.

Not because they want you to feel like you got screwed, but because they don't want to

get screwed if Democrats take back over Congress.

You see, these politicians, the think tanks, the business groups, they're all funded by

people who got the tax cuts.

They're not funded by the person out there working in the factory who was promised, according

to Donald Trump, $9,000 a year.

That's what Trump said we were all going to get.

$9,000.

It turns out we're getting roughly a buck or two per week maybe in tax savings.

You won't even see that until you go and file your taxes next April.

But they're getting $280,000.

Donald Trump is getting millions.

Some Republican members of Congress are getting millions.

Yes, some of the Democrats there, among the wealthiest as well, are getting tax cuts,

too.

But, again, they voted against it.

They didn't vote to enrich themselves.

Republicans did, and they did it while lying to your face and telling you that you were

the one that was going to benefit from this, not them.

That's what we get with Republican rulers.

Lies, misinformation, and essentially swindling the taxpayers to make themselves wealthier.

That is what we see every single time Republicans are in charge of our government, whether it's

federal or state.

What If Jake Paul Fights Chris Brown? - Duration: 5:01.

Hello Internet - and welcome back to the most inquisitive channel on YouTube - Life's

Biggest Questions - the strange place where reality has reached a singularity, and I don't

really know where I am anymore.

What's going on guys - as always, I'll be your spirit guide, Jack Finch - as we try

our best to keep a straight face, and candidly ask the question - What If Jake Paul Fights

Chris Brown?

Before we begin - you know the drill, if you'd like to stay up to date with our latest and

questionaly greatest videos - then be sure to hit that subscribe bell conveniently floating

below, and share this video with your nearest amateur boxing professional.

Also - if you're just a fan of LBQ in general, or have any vocalised opinion on the matter

- then feel free to speak your mind in the comment box below, and demonstrate your democratized

right of opinionated digital entertainment.

Jake Joseph Paul, born Cleveland, Ohio in 1997 - recently stepped into a ring with Deji

Olatunji - AKA ComedyShortsGamer - for a bout that lasted a decisive five rounds, where

Jake sealed the deal.

Despite an admittedly gallant effort from the boy Deji - Jake Paul ramped up the Cleveland

carnage in the later rounds - leading Deji's corner to throw in the towel after an onslaught

of blows.

In his own words, Paul said he felt amazing after the fight - claiming to have worked

so hard for his sporting victory in the lead up to the battle at the Manchester MEN Arena.

And you know, hats off to him - he was probably the closest resemblance to a boxer that the

entire evening could muster - despite 7 undercard bouts and 16 competitors stepping into the

ring.

Paul later went on to say that Deji fought an amazing fight - and he hoped that he'd

learnt a lesson about what he'd said about Paul's family.

He said, - no hard feelings but I feel amazing.

It has been a tough year for me, and this fight was fighting against all of those things,

it was putting my heart on the line and overcome these things.

To quote, the YouTube Sensation.

And yeah, he might be a doughy eyed sociopath more akin to Todd from Breaking Bad - but

you can't deny that he's got heart.

You'd root for him in a myriad of bouts.

Jake Paul vs Logan Paul - yeah, go Jake.

Jake Paul vs Keemstar - go on son.

Jake Paul vs Chris Brown.

Sorry - what was that?

Did you just say Jake Paul vs Chris Brown?

Yeah you heard that correctly, and what's even more shocking is when you find that this

claim has credibility.

After his fight last Saturday, Jake Paul claimed on various media channels at the event that

he'd like to call someone out.

That person was Chris Brown.

He went on to say - Chris Brown, I know you were supposed to fight Soulja Boy, but I think

it's time you got in the ring with someone your own size.

Well - what a strange timeline we live in folks, because hold on to your hats.

This hypothetical bout is happening.

Reportedly, Jake Paul is 5ft 10 and three quarters - compared to Chris Brown - who is

reportedly 1.85 metres, or just over 6 feet.

So he's already off on the wrong foot - and Paul screams into this fight at a disadvantage.

Also - we know that Jake Paul is a little bit of a bleeder.

Of course, that's what happens.

I'm not sure why the internet is so shocked by this fact - because usually, when you ram

fists into peoples faces, there's a bit of blood that tends to come with it.

Perhaps we're witnessing the birth of a very specific genre, who knows?

Anyway, I digress.

Chris Brown - AKA C Breezy - is a metaphorical shark when it comes to conflict - and although

we're glazing over some pretty glaring criminal indictments, which we don't take lightly

- it's undeniable that Mr. Brown is comfortable with physical confrontation, to say the least.

And when there's blood - sharks usually whip up a frenzy.

I don't know if I'm saying this clearly enough - but this metaphorical fight would

be a bloodbath, of which - I'm not entirely sure who would emerge as the overall winner.

Yeah, probably Chris Brown - but Jake Paul has something that Chris Brown doesn't really

have - the high ground.

Let's imagine this fight as somewhat of a meme, a very famous battle that took place

on the silver screen.

The Revenge of the Sith.

Anakin Skywalker, played by Chris Brown, turmoiled by the dark side.

Obi-wan Kenobi.

Yeah, Jake Paul's nothing like my boy Obi-wan, but it doesn't fit into this metaphor without

him, so stay with me.

And how does it end?

After lava, and cauterised body parts - and potential delimbing - Anakin - sorry, Chris

Brown - left by the side of a river of a pure fire, screaming for revenge.

Do we have resolution?

Is there catharsis?

Do we learn a lesson?

No.

We're just left with an even bigger villain than what we started with.

Well - that settles that, then.

I guess.

What do you guys think?

Speak your mind in the comment box down below, I know you will, regardless.

If you've enjoyed this video, go ahead and give it a thumbs up - and feel free to give

it a thumbs down, because you're completely entitled to do so.

If you'd like to continue your questioning binge, make sure to hit that playlist floating

shortly above.

You've been watching Life's Biggest Questions, I've been your host Jack Finch - and until

next time, take it easy.

The Former Cosby Show Star Who Now Works At Trader Joe's - Duration: 3:27.

One of the former stars of The Cosby Show has been spotted working at a grocery store

in New Jersey.

Radar Online reports that Geoffrey Owens, who once played the character Elvin Tibideaux

on the NBC comedy, was seen working the cash register at a Trader Joe's in Clifton, New

Jersey.

According to the publication, Owens, whom they called a "starving artist," probably

makes about $11 an hour.

So, just how did Radar recognize the 57-year-old actor?

Well, for starters, Owens was wearing a name tag.

And shoppers often reportedly identify him from his time on the once-beloved sitcom.

According to Owens' mother Ethel, with whom he lives in a two-floor home in Montclair,

N.J., "They come up and say they remember him from their childhoods."

Owens starred on The Cosby Show from 1985 to 1992, portraying the husband of Sabrina

Le Beauf's Sondra Huxtable.

After the series ended, he continued to work in Hollywood, but he was never able to snag

a gig quite as lucrative as his role as Elvin.

"Hey guys, I'm Donovan McNabb."

"That was not Donovan McNabb!"

"Yes it was."

"That was a McDonald's plug!"

"Wasn't that the guy from The Cosby Show?"

Just because he hasn't had a regular role in a while doesn't mean that Owens hasn't

been working.

Owens appeared in the NBC comedy Built to Last for eight episodes in 1997 and in the

HBO dramedy Divorce as the character Gerald for three episodes in 2016.

He's also made small appearances in high-profile projects like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia,

Boston Legal, and Medium.

Radar spoke to one woman shopping in the store who observed that Owens looked "unhappy",

though she noted that he was polite during their interaction.

The woman also said she was shocked to discover that Owens was working at the grocery store

chain, when he has so much talent as an actor.

According to her observations,

"I would have thought after The Cosby Show he would maybe be doing something different."

Understandably, Owens didn't sound too thrilled that Radar had been looking into his current

whereabouts, as the gossip rag reported that he'd hung up on them when they called to talk

about his Trader Joe's job.

However, he did phone the outlet the next day to inform them of his latest acting gigs,

sharing that he's been teaching a Shakespearean workshop in New York City.

Money might be tighter than ever before for Owens, as he likely doesn't receive much money

from The Cosby Show anymore.

As Page Six reported in April 2018, re-runs of the series were pulled from airing on Bounce

TV after the show's star, comedian Bill Cosby, was found guilty of aggravated indecent assault

against former Temple University employee Andrea Constand - one of dozens of other accusations

of sexual assault that have been brought against the once-beloved comedian in recent years.

For the most part, the accusations have knocked the series out of syndication, meaning a once-reliable

source of residual income for the series' stars has now been significantly cut down.

So considering his acting credentials, why might Owens be working at the grocery chain?

It's possible that he just needs a flexible job to earn some money on the side while he's

in between acting gigs.

As implied by his biography on the website for the off-Broadway theater company Primary

Stages, Owens has largely focused on taking to the stage since his Cosby days, performing

in plays like Romeo and Juliet and David Mamet's Race.

Owens has also tried his hand at directing, working on plays like King Lear, Much Ado

About Nothing, and The Taming of the Shrew.

Beyond his acting roles, he's also held down teaching jobs, molding the minds everywhere

from Yale and Columbia to Bergen County Community College and Montclair High School.

No matter what the former Cosby Show actor has been doing to make ends meet, it's great

to see that he's remaining active on the stage and screen, and we look forward to seeing

what projects he takes on next!

In no particular order, here are some of the worst things we do that affect animals!

10 - Overuse of Sunscreen Let's say you go to the beach.

It's sunny out and just like anyone else, you're hoping to avoid skin cancer and sunburns.

You lather on some sunscreen and then spend the day taking in some rays and enjoying yourself.

Harmless right?

Well it turns out, your preventive action does have an impact on the environment!

Studies in recent years have indicated that chemicals from sunscreen are having an impact

on coral reefs, which have been rapidly disappearing over the years.

Sunscreen has a chemical called BP-2.

This chemical bleaches colorful corals and sometimes triggers mutations in the corals!

The effects of chemicals on coral reef results in a snowball effect.

Coral reef provides shelter for a lot of marine life, provides nutrients and food sources

for lots of sea creatures, and protects the coastlines from erosion.

And that's just touching the surface of all that the Coral Reef does for the ecosystem.

Any adverse effect on coral reef has big implications.

Who knew something as innocent as using sunscreen affects the environment?!

We're not against modern technology, but we're just pushing for sustainability.

How do you guys feel?

Let us know in the comments section!

9 - Feeding Wildlife Let's give the culprits of this activity

the benefit of the doubt.

They're probably just trying to help out animals.

But feeding wildlife is a really bad and dangerous thing to do.

Not just for the animals but for humans too.

Feeding causes animals to lose their fear of humans.

That's not a good thing because large animals that can be a nuisance to humans could endanger

themselves by approaching people.

And that's to say nothing of the harm they could cause to humans.

Also, human food isn't healthy for animals.

To be honest, in most cases the processed food isn't even good for us!

But it's really extra bad for animals.

For example, many ducks and geese suffer from Angel wing, a deformity that renders these

birds unable to fly.

Many ducks and geese suffer from this condition because of people feeding them food such as

popcorn, bread, and crackers, all of which are poor nutritional choices!

So the next time you see some animals, just don't feed them.

8 - Planting Flowers?

Planting flowers seems like the exact opposite of "bad for animals."

While planting flowers in and of itself is a fairly harmless act, there are actually

some negative effects associated with planting flowers!

Pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers are often used for home lawn care as well as by

farmers.

The reasons for this are obvious.

It gives farmers and plant growers the power to enrich their surrounding environment in

order to grow the plants or crops they prefer.

But, these chemicals are generated in a lab and often have unintended consequences.

These chemicals have badly polluted rivers, streams and lakes have caused problems for

animals living in those habitats.

Runoff from the chemicals causes algae blooms.

When the algae dies, it sinks to the bottom and decompress, essentially sucking oxygen

from the water, which is NOT good for fish and other wildlife species in the water!

The animals that do survive often have health issues.

Salmon in Oregon were observed with synthetic materials in their systems.

Yep, that's right, it's not a good thing.

Organic fertilizers are a possible way to offset this issue.

Composted manure and a variety of other natural materials have been seen as viable alternatives.

7 - Deforestation/Habitat Destruction Deforestation is an obvious problem with a

less obvious solution.

Plowing over acres and acres of natural habitats to build shopping malls and housing developments

is having a pretty evident effect on wildlife.

Even with urban sprawl and growing populations, it's pretty easy to make the case against

commercial and residential development at the cost of destroying forests.

Carefully managing and regulating clear cutting on an as needed basis would be a good start.

And that's to say nothing of loggers, who sometimes illegally clear out space.

However, much of the deforestation is done by farmers who need to clear out land for

the livestock to graze.

While small farms might only need to clear a few acres here and there, industrial farms

clear out massive amounts of space for their cattle.

But hey, we all gotta eat, right?

While there's no easy solution to his quandary, the effects of deforestation are pretty clear.

Eighty five percent of animal and plant species live in a forest.

And millions of acres are destroyed on a yearly basis.

Plus as you can probably imagine, chopping down all these trees is a big driver of climate

change.

One example of this is that it disrupts temperature cycles in the forests.

Trees provide cover during the day and hold heat at night.

Without trees, we see more extreme temperature swings.

What use to be lush forests becoming urban development obviously disrupts the ecosystem

many animal species call home!

6 - Poaching Most of the harmful effects we have on animals

are byproducts of human innovation and industrialization.

In other words, most of us don't actively try to harms animals or the environment.

However, some people unfortunately just don't care about animals.

Historically, poaching's roots go back to conflicts between governments and hunters,

usually over hunting rights.

In the 1890's for example, the U.S Navy teamed up with the U.K to stop illegal seal

hunting expeditions in the Bering Sea.

Seal populations were nearly extinct, and there's actually a really long backstory

there so we'll fast forward to today where people still hunt endangered species.

The illegal wildlife trade is worth some tens of billions of dollars.

Crazy right?!

Rhino horns have been as high as $65,000 per kilo, while Elephant ivory has been sold for

more than $2,000 per kilo.

Do we really need to say that illegal hunting affects animal population?

Certain species of tigers, elephants and rhinos, just to name a few, are now endangered.

While most countries enforce strict anti poaching laws, the demand for animal materials is still

very high.

Trying to change cultural beliefs in order to reduce the demand for animal parts is an

extremely difficult task.

5 - Animal Testing For decades now, one of the greatest ethical

debates has been about animal testing.

While people such as Thomas Edison, who allegedly electrocuted dogs still got to be super famous,

today animal testing, even for the sake of progress is largely frowned upon. However,

while our contemporary innovators such as Elon Musk aren't electrocuting animals,

there are still some pretty crazy experiments happening.

Monkeys, for example are prime targets for experimentation.

For example a lab for the National Institute for Health breeds monkeys just to expose them

to mental trauma.

This is done to study the effects of mental illness.

Chimps are often used in biomedical testing, rabbits are used to test cosmetics, and the

Military conducts tests on pigs and goats.

In total, it's estimated that as many as 100 million animals are tested on each year.

In many cases they're euthanized after the tests are done.

Shockingly, in the U.S the only piece of federal legislation that even addresses this issue

is The Animal Welfare Act of 1966.

4 - Greenhouse Gases One of the biggest drivers of global warming

are greenhouse gases, gases in the atmosphere that absorb and emit radiant energy.

The release of these gases into the atmosphere causes what's known as The Greenhouse Effect.

Earth getting warmer is doing some serious damage to natural habitats all over the world.

As waters all over the globe warm, ice caps in the arctic are melting at an alarming rate,

harming animals in the arctic.

Polar bears, for example, use ice caps to hunt, travel and give birth.

The loss of sea ice poses a big threat to their survival!

Extreme weather patterns have also impacted animals.

Rising sea levels are warming the sands of beaches and causing turtles to lose nesting

grounds!

Some estimations project that close to a quarter of land animals, birds and plant life could

go extinct in the near future!

3 - Biocontrol Agents You've probably heard the phrase Catch 22

at some point in your life.

As you probably guessed, the use of chemicals such as pesticides aren't exactly a good

thing for the environment.

Certain biological control agents have been seen as a viable alternative as they help

manage pest control without exposing the environment to pollutants.

It targets a specific pest while not disrupting the food chain as a whole.

This seems like it would be awesome for farmers.

But, and it seems like there's always a "but", there's a downside.

As it relates to other animals, bio controls are meant for exotic pests that aren't related

to indigenous species the biocontrol is meant to help.

In other words, if the pest you're trying to destroy is indigenous to the region, they

could just find a different food source.

This could actually really throw the food chain out of whack, making the use of biological

control a bit counterintuitive.

Granted, the side effects of biocontrol agents aren't as severe or obvious, it's still

something that could potentially pose a big risk.

2 - Littering/Plastic Being a good steward of the environment and

simply not littering is at least in theory, not especially difficult.

Recycle things that can be recycled, don't throw trash out of your car window, and you

know, basically, just don't be needlessly wasteful.

But even with people taking steps to individually help out, our collective production and use

of plastic has proven to be quite harmful to the environment and to the Animal Kingdom.

Given that plastic material is used in so many products that makes our lives so much

simpler, this is a very complicated problem.

The production of plastic releases harmful chemicals such as BPA into the air.

These chemicals can be absorbed by humans and animals alike and it can actually alter

the function of the endocrine system.

Plus, plastic materials sometimes have a shelf of thousands of years.

They float around in the ocean or they can end up in some other natural habitats, laced

with harmful chemicals that animals then accidentally ingest.

Animals can get tangled up in plastic or mistake it for food, both of which can ultimately

lead to their ultimate demise for our animal friends.

While some steps, such as Starbucks and other companies switching from plastic to paper

straws could alleviate some of the issues, it's only the beginning in order to massively

reduce our plastics use!

1 - Oil Spills Oils Spills not only cause economic havoc,

but they also cause severe damage to the ecosystem.

The effects of oil spills linger for decades after.

Oil destroys the insulating ability of furry creatures such as otters.

Seabirds and other marine life that spend time at the water's surface also face some

pretty serious obstacles.

Birds use their feather to repel water and other elements mother nature throws their

way.

Without their feathers, they're exposed to the weather and pretty much defenseless.

Once the oil seeps up to the shore, clams, snails, and other land dwelling animals that

live nearby could come into contact with the oil.

Of course, it disrupts the food chain too, as animals, including us, depending on marine

life for food see their food options drop.

In 2015, NPR reported that five years after the Deepwater Horizon oil Spill in 2010 the

damaging effects are still around after 3 million barrels of oil spilled into the Gulf

of Mexico.

For example, back in April 2016, a research team reported that 88 percent of about 360

baby or stillborn dolphins within the spill area "had abnormal or under-developed lungs",

compared to 15 percent in other areas.

Do we really need to say that the less oil spills the better?

Here's what's next!

Dealing with an empty nest (part one) - Duration: 10:14.

Are you concerned or struggling with the empty nest syndrome let's talk about it.

My name is Cristin L Conroy

Welcome to happy stuff and fluff. A channel for women over 50 who are getting happy and growing younger and

today, I want to talk about the empty nest syndrome because it's that time of year, isn't it? Where

young people are leaving home and going off to university or colleges and so on

Possibly leaving the parents at home or leaving you at home with no other children in the house

It could be a last of one two, three four or even five children, I guess. For me

It was the last of three children. I,,

from an intellectual point of view knew all about the empty nest syndrome.

I had a life of my own. Anyway, I'd never kind of been the kind of mom

You know whose life

totally revolved around children. I always had a life of my own and so thought my life would just continue when the

children had all left home except I'd just have a little bit more freedom

That's what I thought

But, where I was intellectually prepared for it, I

wasn't emotionally prepared for it and it hit me hard and

I struggled with it for the longest time

okay, that's the downside of

course there's, there are upsides but the whole issue of it, it obviously all comes down to it's a personal issue

But, it's also a family issue. I've been reading lots of things recently about

about this situation, where there are children are going off and all the articles that I'm reading are saying things, like YOU,

generally, you generally being the mum

you need to

Not complain to your children when they phone about the fact that they haven't phoned you so often

You always try to be

encouraging and don't say things to them like have you

washed your socks recently? And

when they're come home, don't complain about this, and don't complain about that because you want them to come...

And, I'm reading all this over I thinking WHAT?

Now this might be controversial

All this, this talking about well because you don't want, you know, you want your children to come home as often as possible

you don't want to upset them and you want to treat them like a grown-up and

It just annoyed me a little bit. You see I think that

empty nest syndrome is not a woman over 50s affair. It isn't a parent's affair

It's a family affair! And that's kind of the way I

Treated it

This thing affects the parent and it affects the children too and,

therefore, is worthy of a conversation about it

because

I'm sure there are a few women who don't struggle with empty-nest at all and they sail through it and so on and that's great,

But for the rest of us who do and did struggle with it a little bit, I think talking about it

talking about it with your children

explaining what empty nest syndrome is

Explaining how much you're going to miss them and what empty nest actually means. Those days where you're feeling, where you may feel terribly alone

where you miss them and so on and

Open the subject up so that you can talk about boundaries

Talk about what you would like for them to do

For example, I don't know you might agree between yourselves for them to contact you once a week twice a week. Just

Whatever is comfortable for you as a family

Once a week may be enough. Once a month might be enough. You can't, there are no hard and fast rules

So you agree that I'd like you to contact me so often

and

We'll agree these particular boundaries. And talk about what you expect from them and what they should expect from you

but also for a just for this a

little while wear your heart on your sleeve a little bit

Which is the way I approached it. And actually said oh god, I'm really missing you

I'm dealing with it, but

something something. Perhaps you could give me a ring or... I think that probably, that conversation happen and

maybe once with one of the boys. Because, obviously, you do have to give them their freedom you do have to

and you do actually

Intellectualize this and think, right? Okay. So this is what they're supposed to do

They're supposed to leave home and they're supposed to get on with their lives

and this is a kind of midway and I think it's a great way

They've not quite left on but they are on their way and for us certainly it happened gradually because we had three

Who all went to university kind of within

18 months or two years after each other and so it happened over quite a long period of time and

I consoled myself with the fact that we had made three fabulous people who were kind,

considerate and good citizens who were making their way in the world.

This was the first stage of that and Mr. Kitchen. I can congratulate ourselves on that

That they're not on the phone every day needing their mom or needing their dad. And I want to do a video on

adult children still needing support I'm gonna do that. That's a whole different story. This I'm just talking about when they leave home

There's no one here

But you and your partner and it takes a little bit of getting used to I think you do have to put things into place

To fill your time, especially if you've been a stay-at-home mum

Then you really do have to do that

But talk to your children about it

before they leave in a grown up adult way. Because, obviously,if now we're supposed to treat them as adults

they can behave as adults and understand what you're trying to say to them.

Which means, if you overstep the mark, which you might do

you've never been a parent of a child that's gone off to university before or you've never gone through empty-nest before. If

You overstep the mark, then they're able to say, I know you're probably struggling mum

but, you know, phoning me three times a day is a little bit too much. (Oh

I'm joking, but you know what

I mean) perhaps you could rein it in a little bit and only phone me once a week

And I promise I'll continue to wear my socks and clean them before I put them on! so you can have those conversations with them

And then you don't have to be fretting all time or you know, you can even turn it into a kind of jokey thing.

That's the way the way that we dealt with it

I

m fortunate that we

You know

There are some people I know who say, I wish I could go through

empty nest. Because I think their kids were not ready to go off to university or

they haven't left home and they're still 72. You know what I mean?

So there's that way of looking at it, too.

There is an upside to it and you've got to keep remembering that. Now

It's a big subject this and obviously a very difficult one to cover in a few minutes on a video

But I would like to know, either how you dealt with it, how you're dealing with it, or what your concerns are?

Please tell me in the comments box. And once I've got that kind of information, we'll do another video about

Talking about it and discussing it

but for now my tip to you would be

Sit your kids down. Sit them all down whether they're ready to go off to uni or not.

You might have the eldest one going and the others can sit in on the conversation so that they will be ready

when they're leaving and understand it more. Even from an evolutionary point of view.

You know, your babies that you've cared for for all this time are leaving and it's a very difficult

process. And once the whole family understands that

then you can work through it a lot better and with more positivity

Okay. So two more things. First of all, I've gone dark!

I forgot to mention that and

What do you think of that?

Be brutal if you wish I can take it. I'm just getting used to it.

It's taken a while for me to get used to you know, you walk past a mirror and go. 'Oh that's me!'

I'm a little bit like that

So, yeah, I've got to mention that

In the last video tell me what you think about that. And the other thing is we do have a

Facebook page

Ladies and I'm gonna put the Facebook link down below. Now, I

Going through a

difficult relationship with Facebook at the moment

But that Facebook group is set up for you guys to continue any

conversation that you might want to continue, that you don't feel able to continue in the comments box

you can go over to the Facebook and

comment there, but I am gonna get my head around all of my

social media and will be

concentrating a little bit more on Facebook

But until then, please feel free to go over and post what you like about positivity. Anything that you think that will help our community

You can post pictures there

But you can still comment down here if you wish it just gives you an additional place to do that

So I'll leave the link for that. But in the meantime, yeah, anything any issues you think you have?

You want to talk about in the comments box below. I would really be interested to hear. What's happening with you

Okay until the next time remember that on the happy stuff and fluff we are getting happy and growing younger

Demon Girls - Commission - Copic Speedpaint - Duration: 7:27.

Hey everyone, and welcome back to my

channel! My name is ashemarie, and I like

to draw stuff and share it here online!

Today's video is some footage that I

captured when I did a couple of bust

commission's for one of my friends from

high school. Recently, I finally got her

prints to her, so.. when I did... I asked her

if she would mind if I used the footage

for my youtube channel. To which she

replied, "oh my gosh you have a YouTube

channel?" ...but anyway, she did tell me that

I could go ahead and use the footage... so

I'm so happy that I took the chance and

I recorded it at the time, because it's

totally worth it to have an extra video

to share with you guys!

When my friend first contacted me

through Instagram about a commission, I

honestly... I hadn't heard from her and so

long.. I... I didn't even realize that she

had been following me on Instagram.. and

it made me really, really happy to see

some old people... some old faces that

still remember h..how I was always

drawing in class. And that they're

excited to see me... you know.. growing into

more of an artist, and you know from

inside.. it never feels like that, but it

makes me happy to think that someone

else.. you know, an outside perspective can

made, you know, even if you can't see it.

see some of the progress that you've

I'm so happy that you asked me for

this commission, and I was so happy you

got back in contact with me, even if it

is only online since we live so far away

now! But.. I know I'm not saying any names

here because she asked that I don't call

her out by name.. but you know who you are

and thank you so much for continuing to

support me all these years later!

Anyways, I'll try and get into some of

talking about the actual drawing. Now,

you can see on one side that I used my

UniPin fineliners for a nice black

outline. And then for the other one, I

decided to do my colored outlines since

my friend couldn't decide which she

would prefer, and since.. since I was

excited to do art for her anyways. I was

already offering to do two drawings for

her for the price of one, because she had

that good friend hook up.. for this one

time. haha. I kept asking her which she would

prefer, and she really couldn't decide... so

I gave her one of both, and I am really

really happy with the way they both

turned out. Especially the colored inked

girl on the left with the fox. Even if

the Fox kind of looks kind of derpy

right now.. I'd like to think he looks a

little bit better by the end. I'm

just really happy with how that line of

her back came out. I'm really, really

proud of it, and once again I'm so happy

that this art is in the hands of someone

that loves it truly!

This experience of having an old friend

that I used to know so well.. contact me

out of the blue because of my artwork... it

just reminds me how much artwork brings

us together, and how you can use your art

to help connect people, and even to draw

people to you. Because... we all love beauty..

we all love things that make our day

feel better, because it was nicer to look

around, because even when you were doing

something maybe you didn't enjoy

completely... you were surrounded by beauty

while you did it. It's one of those

things that.. art is a luxury and at the

same time, it's so important to all of us,

and I feel like... if everything was a

little more beautiful, everybody would

care a little bit more, everybody would

be a little bit happier if we weren't so

dang PO'ed would all the time!

(I'm really trying hard not to curse on

this channel because, I know young

artists like to come and watch speed

paints on YouTube, so I'm trying to be

mindful of this while I record.) Anyways,

back to my original train of thought... I

feel like, if people were surrounded by

beauty every day, you you would feel

better. y.. you.. you wouldn't be in a dank

place every day, you would feel happy to

go to work because... it's beautiful! And on

that hippie mindset, I suggest all of you

guys to be excellent to each other. Thank

you, for watching all the way to the end.

Thank you, for tuning in to another one

of my speed paints. I'm gonna try and

have something a little bit more

creative coming up soon, so be sure to

tune in to my channel again and see what

I've got going on! That sounded weird... Be

sure to like, comment, & subscribe

if you like my artwork... or if you don't

mind how awkward I am sometimes.

As always guys, thank you so much. I'll

see you guys next week,

love you very much, bye.

Be the change you want to see in the world - One Angry Guy Channel Intro - Duration: 1:55.

"Be the change you want to see in the world." This is a quote I have greatly pondered on,

since first reading it on an inspirational cat poster in grade school.

There is a lot of change I want to see in the world, but I've never felt that I hold

the power or resources to actually do anything. In the age of the internet, this can not be

an excuse, it is time to take action. I think it is very important to live by this quote.

Most people like to complain about everything, from politics, to ethics, to work, to traffic,

there is always something to whine about. But how many people actually try to find the

root of the problem? If there is something in society you are not happy about, you have

the power to do something about it, and make change for the better. This is true now more

than ever before, as anyone can start a youtube channel, or a blog and gain a following

of like-minded people. This is my goal with making youtube videos. I

have a whole lot of shit going on in my head that is probably unhealthy to contain. I am

starting this channel to share my thoughts and ideas -wow, how original! -as I want to

get some opinions out in the open, and possibly find some like minded people along the way.

A common trope is for people to want to 'leave the world a better place than what they came

into' either for their children or society as whole. While this is a noble cause, its

not quite enough for me. I don't just want to change the world for those here after me,

I want to see and experience change for myself, in my lifetime. Of course, that is a difficult

thing to do. Humans, we, we're stubborn, we don't like to change our mind or be told why

to do. My greatest fear is to be lying on my deathbed, and having the regret of not

even trying to make change, instead just conforming to set standards. That is the purpose

of this channel. This is the attempt I don't want to regret not trying.

This channel is going to be about common misconceptions and unpopular opinions.

Thanks for watching

Princess Diana: The surprising reason YOU can remember where you were when Diana died - Duration: 3:54.

Psychologists argue this traumatic incident left such a scar on the national consciousness that it triggered a "flashbulb" memory

Princess Diana died on August 31, 1997 after her car crashed at the entrance of the Pont de l'Alma road tunnel in Paris, France

It is not uncommon for people to remember exactly where they were and what they were doing when they learnt the shocking news

This could be because it has become a "flashbulb memory", which can occur after significant incidents

Flashbulb memories are stored in our minds "as vividly, completely and accurately as a photograph"

The American Psychological Association say flashbulb memories were first proposed back in 1977 by Harvard psychologists Roger Brown and James Kulik

They can be triggered by dramatic events, particularly those which occur in public

Cognitive psychologist William Hurst said: "Every time there's a public trauma, psychologists run out in the street and capture people's memories of what happened

"They did it with the Challenger explosion. They did it with the death of Princess Diana – and we did it with 9/11

"What makes these events so memorable is the unusual intersection of the personal and the public, so that what becomes salient for you is actually learning about the event, in addition to the facts of it

"Last year, on the 20th anniversary of the Princess of Wales' death, the nation took to social media to share their memory of hearing the news

TV presenter Chris Tarrant was on a flight back from Canada.  The Who Wants to be a Millionaire host said: "There was a sound of crying as news spread around the plane

"Mirror columnist and then GMTV presenter Fiona Phillips said: "When I was called out of my bed in the early hours 20 years ago to deliver the news on GMTV that Diana had died, I couldn't believe what I was hearing

"I fumbled around for a black suit, hoping that somehow the news wasn't true; that I wouldn't have to wear it

Beginning or Returning to Makeup Tips with Only 8 Items for Both Younger & Mature Women over 50 - Duration: 25:23.

Okay awesome ones. Well you know I love our subscribers and I'm still reading

pretty well every single comment that you put down and I'm really surprised

that how many of you after watching a makeup video have never worn makeup

before or maybe you haven't worn makeup......... some people are saying I haven't worn

makeup in like decades. Thank You Heather. And I thought what I would do is I do

this video for you rookies out there or you returners to makeup out there.

I'm just going to use eight products. So I'm going to really really keep it

simple and some of you who, you know are thinking well you know what, I don't want

to use all those 20 products that Heather's using, you might really find

this informative as well. It starts in just a few seconds.

So I wanted to do this video just to help those of you that, you know, need a

little bit of enhancement. You really want to get a little bit of confidence

back and what I'm using here are just eight products. I'm showing them here and

they really really cover everything that I need to do a full makeup on my face.

And the other thing about these products is I really made sure that they're

pretty reasonable. I know the mascaras a little on the high end but I also will

tell you about an option where you can get a drugstore product that actually

works just as well as well. So as you know I'd like to keep it real. I have

absolutely no makeup on my face and as a former 80's model that was really hard to

do, but I want to give the best to you guys and so I'm used to it now, but

anywho what I would suggest if you're just, you know starting on makeup or you

want to do a minimalistic kind of makeup or you're just returning to it is let's

start with a concealer. Now this concealer we're only going to use one in

this video, because I'm keeping it minimalistic as I said. It's a little

lighter than my skin tone and what I'm going to do is I just....yes you have the

lipsticky kind of thing, but what I like to do when I'm doing this kind of

an application is just, I don't know if you can see that...... they're kind of rolling

on my fingers a bit. I've got to start with underneath these eyes because I really

usually have like dark circles under my eyes sometimes. I even have bags, not

today but that's a good thing you know and I just sort of dab it, just kind

of dab underneath here and as you can see yes it's a little bit lighter......

just dabbing underneath again, these are great blenders and you have ten of them

here, it's called your fingers. Alright so there you go.

Now.....that you might say....ah that looks really really bright, but we're gonna

tone it down in a minute. Now if you have blemishes, if you have age spots, if you

have whatever which I got pretty well everything on the list.

Oh yeah, yeah um but just use this like this you see how that's covering up

there. Blend it in. I also like to put a little bit in between my eyes here

because, I don't know, it's kind of purply in there but I'll sort of show you this

one. Dab it on, blend it in, oh I got more here sorry this is gonna take up a lot

of the video all my spots that I have to cover up, but yep they're there. I got

some redness here, my nose a little bit on my nose and then can you see these

guys here, so I'm gonna go like that...like that....like that....like that and just do

some blending. Now one little final look here, what's that, blemish I guess and

a final little look. Oh you know what, this was nasty, this one here is really really

dark, so had to add a little bit there. So there you go.

One concealer that's all you need for this minimalistic kind of makeup and

it's a very natural makeup even though I'm not using a lot of products it still

works just fine. So let's see step number two while this dries. So well that's

drying we're gonna use eyeliner pencil. Alright and a sharpened one, make sure

it's sharp now. I'm using black for this video but you might feel a little more

comfortable with a softer kind of look. Maybe a brown would work for you and

this is a little bit tricky, you might need a little bit of practice at it, but

basically what you're going to do is...I usually start from the inside and work

my way out. Now you might be saying to yourself, oh I don't I think I'll skip

that one, I don't need the eyeliner. Well if you have droopy or hooded eyes and

actually I'm gonna put a link up there for the hooded eye video, you'll realize

why you need a little swoosh at the end, because we want to liven up your

eyes a little bit and you know the eyes are magic, so we do want to work a little

bit on them. So all I'm gonna do is......kind of hard to show you, but I started here,

see I'm just kind of feathering it out a bit, it's not a great big line, it's just

giving your eyelashes a little bit of definition and as we age, I don't know we

seem to lose some eyelashes, so this really just helps a bit, doing doing here

and don't...kind of do it in....in several strokes, you see I'm not just

going zoom like that, just kind of lightly brushing it and then at the end, I do a

little swoosh. I'll get back to the swoosh in a minute and I'm just gonna

quickly do my other eye.

There we go and the little swoosh. Alright next step. So the third item you're going

to need is an eyeshadow palette. Now this one I found is fabulous. It's not very

expensive either. It's by Burt's Bees. There's all kinds of different palettes

that you can get and actually I found this Burt's Bees makeup line really

really awesome and I'm gonna put a link up there for a video that I did on it

because it wasn't even a sponsored video but I applied the makeup and I really

really loved it. So let's choose this palette um this does not come with a

brush hmm so you might want to get a palette like this instead with a number

of different colors in it and that's going to come with your with a couple of

brushes which are good. Now if you're saying to yourself, you know what, I don't

really want to invest in brushes right now.

Well these work just fine little um little cotton swabs here and just

remember to throw them out occasionally, but I've used these before and they work

just fine, so let's just um go ahead with this and what we're going to do with

this is we're going to put this just above the eyes.

That's just on the eyelid there so I just want to make sure that I got it

straight, hold on for a second. Oh yeah very natural, a very natural look, also

what I'm going to do is.....sorry I'm kind of melting in here under the lights, but I want

to keep going with this and we'll cool off in a minute. Also put a little

highlighter up there right underneath the brow bone, that's really really

lovely there. Now what do you do with this color?

Well this color, if you can see just the natural....I don't have any makeup on, but

I've got a kind of a natural crease here, so what I'm going to do is, I'm just

gonna go along that natural crease there.

See it's looking pretty....yeah and I'm going to go along that natural crease

there and because of the hooded eyes that I have....didn't have them when I was

younger, but I got them now. I'm gonna just do a little swoosh out like that

and I am going to brush it out with my fingers there, all right so now there's a

third color in here and in this particular palette it's like a lavender

sort of color, but they also have pallets with Browns and other colors that you

might prefer. Now this is when you're a little bit daring if you want to do this

you might not want to do it the first try if you're just a beginner you're

getting back into makeup, but I will show it to you as for the people that are

just sort of want to do this, okay so first of all I use a brush like this or

you could use a q-tip, just be really really careful with that and I'm gonna

go underneath the eyes.

Notice I'm not using a liner, but this is really a pretty look just under there

and then right across here in the crease with that darker one to just show some

definition. See all these wrinkles I've got over here. I'm just trying to hide

them with the darker one and then that little swoosh that we made there we're

just gonna bring that up, there we go. I am literally melting it's really hot in

here under these lights. I'm going to go back but I'll be back in a second. I got

a fan here for a second. I'll be right back.

Alright I'm cooler. I'm keeping it real. Sweet....sweat

beads and all, but anyway, so I'm much cooler now and oh I wanted to mention to

you also, makeup brushes. If you do want to get some makeup brushes, I did a video

on that too on makeup brushes. I'm gonna put it up there you know the right kind

of makeup brushes to use so you might go...... I kind of like this makeup thing. I think

I'm gonna toss the cotton swabs and I'm gonna go ahead and use some proper

brushes. So I'll put a link up there to that video, but let's move on to the

foundation. so for this foundation I want to keep it easy-peasy for you guys again

this is a Burt's Bees product and I love this little compact because it has a

mirror on it but it also comes with an applicator so that's always nice to have.

So what I'm going to do is I'm going to just sort of dab this into the

applicator. I want to dab and brush a little bit like this so a little

bit of a stroke there and I'm going to try to now put this on my face. Let me

see if I can do it with this mirror. Hopefully this works for you guys and I

am not going to go under my eyes yet. I just want to cover you know we've got

we get discolorations when we get older and and you know even when we're younger

we've got some discolorations on our face. So what we want to do is cover them

up, not with a lot and again I'm just sort of scraping and dabbing on this a

little bit. I don't know if you can see that, but yeah so lets go up here taking

that nice shine off. Well it wasn't a nice shine, it was

taking the shine off as well. All right and you can sort of see the difference

in the coloring here and over here.

This is really nice. I think it's got bamboo in it or something this some

powder so it's a hundred percent natural - I believe so that's always good and

what am I going to do with this last little part under my eyes...you don't want

to put too much powder under your eyes, that's where all the wrinkles are so if

you put too much powder under there all of a sudden you're going to age yourself

ten years. So just a little dab, little dab will do you....do you guys remember

that saying oh wow, going back probably long time ago. Now look at the difference

between the two. You got this side and this side, but I didn't put too much on

so now I'm going to take the shine away from this side and if it's too greasy

under there your mascaras gonna transfer. You can have all kinds of yucky things

happen. So there we go. That's it just small dab and we are done.

Next is the blush. So next as I said it's the blush and I really like this kind of

three color brush, a blush rather. I'm using a brush like this, but if you don't

want to buy the the brush quite yet you can use a little bit of cotton batten

and just very carefully put it on. Not too much. You're gonna have to be really

really careful with this, but for me since I have the brush I'm gonna use it.

I just dab, just dab and I'm going to put a little bit here on the apples of my

cheeks I think that's what they call it. You see how that is and I'm pretty yeah

so just put a little bit there. Now if you noticed here there is a kind of a

darker part of this blush, so if I wanted to I can using a different brush here I

could do a bit of contouring with this and I don't know when we get older it

seems that our faces get wider. So sometimes you know I really want to show

yes I still have cheekbones and I'm going to put a little bit here and here

also the word I hate to use is jowls. The words awful but anyway put a little bit

of that contouring under here as well and that will sort of take away some of

the look of the jowls. Now also that blush brush that I had here just you

know just want to give it a little bit of color all over and yeah. So next is

the mascara and I absolutely love this mascara, it goes on well it comes off at

night well, it doesn't sort of go underneath my eyes it's a little bit

pricey though, but I also in the Burt's Bees I also tried the burst B's

and it was really quite good and I think it was at least half the price of this

one. So you know if you're on a budget or whatever you could certainly do that, oh

and by the way I'm going to link both of these and all the other products that

I'm using in the description. I'm going to put a link to the blog and then at

the blog you'll be able to click on these products, see really what they were

and if you want to purchase them I have to say this on the video we do get a

little bit of a commission and that's really helping us to keep going with the

videos. A big THANK YOU if your doing that. Okay we

really appreciate it. Mascara time. Now what you want to do

with mascara, first of all thank you to all of the comments that have told me, do

not pump. I used to go pumping the mascara in here and do not pump your

mascara just pull it out of the wand like that if you pump the mascara you're

gonna put air in it and it'll dry out faster. So that's good thing to know

thanks everybody for those wonderful comments about that. Okay so I'm just

feathering the upper lashes here just a little feather

not too much and I'm gonna do another coat again but that's about it for now

and we're gonna let that coat dry and now we're going to work on the next part.

So we're waiting for that to dry. I've got this eyebrow pencil and you can

see it's got a little spooley on the bottom and the color I'm using is blonde.

Now we're all different colors and that sort of thing, so blonde is good for me

it's also you know a lighter color if you've got the silver hair growing in or

maybe you dyed your hair silver but be really careful that you're not getting

too dark of of an eyebrow look cuz it's really gonna be harsh on this. We're

going...that we want this to be a natural enhancement that's what the whole thing

is all about. A little natural enhancement and my

really true heartfelt wish is that you know maybe you've got a little more

confidence with that especially as you're maybe rising up in a few years

here. Brush the eyebrows up. Now if you are a mature woman some of your eyebrows

have left and not returned. So we've got to fill that in here .I just sort of

brush up like this. I don't go zoom again so brush up and this one here, look at the

mess that is.....maybe Bill can show you the close-up of that like okay my eyebrows

are missing I don't know where they went but they just decided to be missing one

day oh and by the way I did a video on shaping your eyebrows so you really

should take a look at that. I'll put the link up there somewhere for you because

if I did all of these steps in length this video would be like three hours

long and we don't want to do that. It's just going to be....you should be able to

put on this real quick makeup in under five minutes

easy. Maybe not the first time, but you know so I'm drawing in those little

hairs.

And then she had hairs on her eyebrows.

Just brush them back up again. All right so we can do another coat of mascara

here and again just very carefully.

See how pretty that is and the eyeliner that's there is just kind of blending in

it's not really....can't notice that eyeliner which is what I wanted.

Now I also at this particular point, you don't have to do this if you don't want

to, but I like to just do a little bit on the bottom lashes. I find it really

really enhances the whole eyes and I

think it's a very worthwhile step. So for my eighth product it's this lipstick

crayon. You know what? I just found this lipstick crayon. I absolutely love it.

It's amazing and I'm going to just put it on here, but you know what, looking at

our lips what happened to our lips, like it's just when we're young we've got

those red lips and everything else and then the color just disappears

anyway, so let's just lighten them up a little bit and what I love about this

crayon is you can outline your lips and fill them in and you're done. The other

thing I love about this little crayon is the fact that it does have a lid for it.

I could put this in my back pocket I could really easily put it in my purse

and so it's really easy to carry as well. So all I'm gonna do I'm not gonna go

crazy here I'm just gonna outline my lips the way they naturally are.

See that.....

then I'm done. That's done. So hey for sure you got to put on a little bit of

lipstick because that bland look, not working is it. So there you go. I hope, I

really do hope that this makeup video really helps the rookies or those of you

that are just getting back into makeup. It's also great for those who are on a

budget or that don't want to do like the 20 odd steps that I did in some of the

other videos where you go, man you know this is gonna cost a fortune or

this is too long. This is really as I said easy peasy and some of the things,

some of the steps that I didn't use on this particular makeup is....I did not, you

know I really didn't use a lipstick liner. I didn't use my anti-shine cream

that I love. There wasn't highlighters and all that

sort of thing the other thing that I didn't use in this video was primer so

some of you are probably thinking oh my gosh should I get primer.

Well I found that the the Burt's Bees foundation that I use and probably other

foundations as well they work okay on your bare skin, but I would suggest that

at night time you put on a night cream and then the next day don't put on a day

cream because sometimes if you're putting on these powders it's just gonna

get really really blotchy or oily and that sort of thing. So I just put it on

the fresh skin of the morning which still has a little bit of the night

cream on. So at the end of most of my videos we bring in the cuteness factor

our little Yorkie. Hey Hurricane our little Yorkie Hurricane, lots of kisses
