When a person does something kind for a complete stranger, it always warms my heart.

I think this is true for most people.

This story is a perfect illustration of just that.

My heart was warmed through and my hope in humanity was maintained.

Here's the wonderful story — I'm sure that you'll be touched, too.

To start, try to put yourself in a child's shoes and see things from their perspective.

Imagine you are nine-years-old and are participating in a performance at your school.

The show involves all of the students' dads, but your father isn't there.

Your dad is gone, as he often is.

At the same time, all your friends' dads are there for the event.

When Addie Rodriguez from Texas had a performance with her cheerleading squad at her school,

this was exactly the case.

Addie's dad is in the Army, so he often can't attend her school events.

Having her father away so often is very tough for a child, but Addie is strong and knows

that her dad is gone for an important reason.

But, when it was time for her cheerleading performance, it was extra tough.

During the planned routine, the cheerleaders' fathers would put their daughters on their

shoulders.

Addie's father, however, was away with the army — and she was the only one who did

not have her dad for the routine.

But, a young man, a total stranger, saw Addie from the stands as the cheerleaders performed.

The young man thought it was terrible that Addie was completely alone when everyone else

had their dads there.

He felt so strongly that he decided to intervene.

The young man got out of his seat in the stands, hurried down and hopped the fence to where

the cheerleaders were performing.

He ran straight to Addie.

He asked her permission and then and then put her on his shoulders so she did not have

to be by herself.

Addie didn't have to feel alone anymore — a complete stranger had saved the day.

What a wonderful gesture by this young man!

somehow undermines legitimacy of his of his

election if he acknowledges what the Russians did this is something to the

chagrin of even as national security folks everyone they don't like the fact

he continues to call us a hoax because it's not a hoax

and it makes our intelligence community's job that much more difficult

because they need to implement policy to make sure this doesn't happen again

that's the real problem here the fact that you know what is doing anything

or engage in acts of violence.

It can be devastating – especially for kids – to watch heroes fall.

That's why we always love to hear stories of athletes who take their position in the

public eye seriously and display good character and qualities to admire.

Marcus Mariota is one such player.

The 23-year-old Tennessee Titans quarterback is one of the best in the NFL, but he has

not allowed his success to go to his head.

In fact, he is famously shy about discussing his own success and accomplishments.

As a college player at the University of Oregon, Mariota was heavily involved with the Boys

& Girls Club of Emerald Valley in Eugene.

The children there didn't just see him as a star player, but as a friend, brother, and

mentor.

Since moving east and joining the Titans, Mariota has proven that fame and fortune won't

change him, and a video that has recently gone viral shows just that.

After fracturing his fibula last season, Mariota was ready to retake the field at Saturday's

preseason game against the New York Jets.

As the team walked through the tunnel toward the field, a young man with Down syndrome

– sporting a Mariota jersey – anxiously watched the players come in as he looked for

his hero.

When Mariota spotted him, he stopped to give him a hug and take a picture…but that wasn't

all.

As the rest of the team went on, Mariota stayed back to meet the boy's family and take some

more pictures.

Then he gave his biggest fan another hug and talked to him for a little bit before leaving

to catch up with his team.

These are the kinds of athletes we want to see more of – the ones who realize there

are more important things than "The Game"; the ones who will take the time to show some

extra love and kindness to an excited fan; the ones who show us what true character and

leadership are all about.

That short meeting didn't take much time or effort for Mariota, but it meant everything

to this fan and his family.

look like.

A royal insider recently revealed that Kate Middleton could only have female bodyguards

as per the order of Prince Charles.

According to Inquisitr, the 66-year-old Prince is allegedly scared that his son's wife might

fall in love with a male bodyguard just like in the case of his late wife, Princess Diana.

"From the start, when Kate became engaged, it was Charles who made the woman-only stipulation,

saying he didn't want her compromised in any way," a Scotland Yard's royal protection unit

insider told Daily Express.

Due to Prince Charles' insistence, Kate Middleton will not surrounded with "men-in-suits" instead,

she will strictly have female bodyguards only.

The Duchess of Cambridge's main security and protection officer is Sgt.

Emma Probert, a 43-year-old female bodyguard who has protected her since her engagement

to Prince William in 2010.

Probert is also married to Insp.

Colin Childs, who is part of Queen Elizabeth's guard.

Kate Middleton is reportedly fond of Probert, who used to be an air hostess like her mom

Carole.

But when Probert is unavailable, Karen Llewellyn stands as her replacement.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are also being guarded by a female security officer.

Meanwhile, having female only bodyguards may seem strange for royal watchers since the

royal family is used to have men as bodyguards, Radar Online noted.

The choice of policewomen, however, does not surprise Princess Diana's former bodyguard

Ken Wharfe.

"I've heard that Prince Charles is more involved in who is being appointed," Wharfe said.

"And if he asks for more women he will get more women.

The trouble with Diana was she got on better with men.

She did have a woman once but she didn't last long.

You have to have a good chemistry with the person you're looking after."

Speaking of Prince Charles' fears that Kate Middleton might end up having an affair with

male bodyguard, Movie News Guide revealed that his late ex-wife Princess Diana allegedly

admitted her affair with Barry Mannakee, one of her bodyguards, to her former voice coach.

In the recorded video, the late Princess of Wales said that she believed Mannakee, who

was killed in a motorcycle accident eight months after he was fired from duty, was actually

murdered as revenge for the affair, despite Prince Charles' infidelities.

"I was only happy when he was around," Princess Diana said.

"I should never have played with fire and I got burnt."
