Glimpses #BetterTogetherBTC2017 - Duration: 2:30.

Magic was the theme we chose for this Be the Change Celebration 2017

and magic is the word that I think best describes what we have been living.

Magic from that first moment in which the delegations went up to

to put that marble, which represented the wisdom acquired during a year, in that magic cauldron.

Magic is what we have been seeing in the workshops

from those that painted figures in the air, or those where we saw music,

or we created music, or we danced, we have done mindfulness, we have done gymkhanas,

we have done a lot of things that what they showed, what is it?

The interaction, the interaction between people from 29 countries

that were representing us in this Celebration.

Magic at the time of seeing how the representatives of the 19 projects

from 19 different countries that had been able to come with kids, told us

And how together, Better Together, they had been able to make

a change, however small, in their environment, to teach us, what?

That the youngest are not the future, but the present, and that what we have to do

is listen to them.

Magic has also been what we experienced during the moments in which

we had the inspiring talks, in which specific people told us

their experiences and once again manifested the Better Together,

as well as how in front of different realities, the best is to rely on each other

to change things. And then those performances that we had, the music

that was present and made everyone stand up and made nationalities irrelevant

all united when it comes to dancing and singing.

Or the magic that was also present with that magician who was accompanying us.

Two days in which we lived the magic, and now what remains is to celebrate,

celebrate this sixth edition that has been absolutely incredible, and well,

now it is a matter of waiting for Taiwan to see how they surprise us,

because it will be the next year. So that's what we have left, wait until next year.

Air Rifle BSA Ultra SE - Review, Chronytest, Shooting test - Duration: 12:29.

Servus! Glad to see you guys!

You can't imagine how much I'm up for this air rifle review today!

I have for you today the BSA Ultra SE. An air rifle - you will see it in the video,

that's incredibly fun! Let's get to the technical data first!

You can see it here, the BSA air rifle fits perfectly into the picture.

We have a construction length of 82 centimeters. The barrel is only 30 centimeters long.

The barrel has a 1/2" UNF thread on which a compensator is screwed.

The entire air rifle has a total weight of 2600 grams.

The BSA Ultra SE has a 10-round drum magazine.

I'll show you later how it is taken out and loaded. But let's take a good look first.

Over here you can see the BSA compensator.

This is screwed to the 1/2" UNF thread. Alternatively, a silencer can also be attached.

Under the cap that can be turned off here,

the filling hose is infected.

Then you can pump up the air rifle or fill it with the bottle.

We have the 30 centimeter short barrel, in the version a plastic shaft.

This is a very valuable all-weather plastic. The air rifle also exists

with a wooden stock. Then we have the adjustable trigger down here.

The trigger is very well adjusted from the factory. You'll see later on in the shooting test.

The plastic shaft is slightly roughened in the grip area and the fore-end area.

This makes it possible to hold the air rifle firmly in place. Here you can see a BSA logo.

Then we have a slightly raised cheek piece.

This makes the air rifle suitable for both left- and right-handed shooters.

Below you can see the BSA logo again. I'm going to raise the BSA Ultra SE a little.

Down here we see an eyelet for a sling.

We have the same thing here at the front, by the way.

Then we have a rubberized butt plate here.

Then you can see the safety lever here. This is a manual backup that is either switched on or off.

F means Fire, S means Safety - as always.

Here we have the repeating lever. Then the 10-shot drum magazine that is currently loaded.

The designation BSA Ultra SE. And here for the German market:

Free from 18 years, an air rifle with under 7.5 joules.

Here you can also see the maximum filling pressure of 232 bar.

Not to forget an attached 11 mm prism rail on which I mounted a rifle scope.

Let's get to this button here:

If you pull this button forward... I'm trying to do it with one hand.

Then pull the repeating lever backwards and you can take out the magazine.

Here you can see the opening into which the diabolo is inserted.

There you can see a small ledge overhanging.

If you drop the diabolo there, it will automatically get stuck.

Then the drum magazine can be turned with the fingers to the next free shaft.

This means that the drum magazine can then be filled with 10 shots.

A special feature of this is that if you have dropped the diabolo into the opening,

and then to the next one. Let go of the magazine,

it does not jump back completely, but only to the last filled shaft.

That means: suppose you've loaded a magazine with 10 shots,

you shoot three shots. Now you can remove the magazine.

The drum magazine is then still standing on

the 7th shot, and you only have to refill the missing 3 shots.

This means that the magazine can also be reloaded in between and there is no need to shoot empty.

I try to guide the magazine back into the shaft with one hand (in my second hand I have the camera).

Then I push the switch back. You see how smooth this is.

And then I push the repeating lever back with one finger.

The safety lever is currently set to "safe".

And if I go to F for Fire, I can pull the trigger and shoot. I just want to show this again:

I'll hold the camera with one hand. And so I can shoot.

Speaking of shooting, now it's time for the shot test.

Fasten your seat belts!

Now we're in the BSA Ultra SE fire test.

I will shoot the first magazine beautifully targeted and precise.

I want to see how small I can keep the scattering circle. I also cut the video between the shots.

That means I concentrate, the phase is cut out.

Then that's not too long-winded for you, either.

Then I will once again fully load the magazine of BSA Ultra SE.

I simply run the video during the shooting sequence, including repeating it.

So I want to show in which time you can do this 10 shots.

I will shoot with the BSA Ultra SE, mounted is a rifle scope Bullseye 6-24x44.

As a diabolos I use the JSB Exact 4,53mm. I put the gun on my Caldwell "The Rock" and shoot from a distance of 11.5 meters.

Now you can see the result of the first scattering circle. Downstairs the volley was targeted with 10 shots.

We have a scattering circle of 7.5 to 8 millimeters.

I'm saying this is really good!

Above you can see the result of the shooting sequence where I quickly repeated and aimed.

You heard all this live.

I think we're talking about a scattering circle of about an inch.

So.... just over 9 millimeters!

For shooting so fast, the result is amazing!

A really "Ultra" horny air rifle!!

Such a good shot result can only be achieved if the air rifle has a constant pressure release.

Let's have a look at the Chrony Test.

I'm gonna make 10 rounds now. Then we see how constant the weapon is,

and the performance of BSA Ultra SE.

That's ten shots. We evaluate immediately: number of shots 10.

Average 6.9 joules. That's a good figure.

Average speed about 159 meters per second. The minimum value was 158.05. The highest value was 159.93 meters per second.

That means all 10 shots were in a range of 1.88 meters per second. And the standard deviation from the mean was 0.5 meters per second.

This is really an outstanding value and a great consistency.

I'm starting to miss the counterarguments why I shouldn't own this air rifle.

I just want to show you this once again with the BSA Ultra SE.

I want to show you how to make a quick firing sequence.

You saw the target map. I have also achieved quite a respectable result.

And now let's have a look at how easy it is to achieve fast shooting sequences with the BSA Ultra SE.

I hope you can get me into the camera here. OK!

You see it: the air rifle is an unbelievable fun bringer!

I think that's how a hunter with a repeater must feel.

The trigger is double adjustable. I haven't tested the second setting yet because the first one is perfect for me.

That's how I would take a print.

One must also consider that this is not a competition weapon.

I'm looking for the right term... plinking air rifle would have something in common....

I think "fun repeater" is the best way to hit it.

Let's come to the conclusion!

You are probably wondering why there is no "AirGhandi" sticker on it?

Unfortunately, it's not my air rifle yet. I got married a few years ago.

I have to declare such heavy expenses to the command center.

It's very difficult for me to get anything through at the moment.

Dear BSA team! If you really want to make a person happy:

give me this air rifle; -) My eternal thanks would be certain! ;-)

I have no negative points at all. If I'm looking for anything, pull the hair down,

which I could criticize, then maybe the trigger that this is only double adjustable.

But quite honestly:

I only tested on one of them because it was perfect for me.

So find your own ground! I can't find one. Absolutely compact and precise air rifle.

We have an absolute fun repeater here. Now I've already told you everything I can think of.

Who would I recommend this air rifle to?

I would recommend this air rifle to anyone looking for a multi-shot air rifle.

The air rifle is also available with wooden stock. This means that even the stock would not be an excuse why you shouldn't own this rifle.

For me, the BSA Ultra would be a pure work and fun device.

Therefore, contrary to my normal setting, I would choose the model with plastic shaft here.

It fits nicely in the hand and is absolutely high quality.

I'm sure you'll notice: I'm personally thrilled.

This air rifle would be the perfect complement to my two air rifles which I own as property.

I currently have the incense HW30S and my contactor 9015 ONE.

There would be this air rifle as a fun banger for in between the perfect addition.

As you can see, I can't hold back my enthusiasm.

I don't want to!

Because the enthusiasm is simply real! Absolutely incredible!

Well, that's what it was from my side! Thank you for taking so much time.

I hope you're back on the next video and I hope you subscribe to my channel!

Maybe you'll leave me a comment or two!

Then my work would have been worthwhile! Thank you!

DIY How to make Christmas tree out of plastic teaspoons (ENG Subtitles) - Speed up #432 - Duration: 2:15.

Hi. Today I will show you how to make Christmas tree out of plastic teaspoons.

I made it by request from my viewer.

Detailed list of all needed items is in the description of this video.

Warm up a teaspoon a little and cut off its end.

Do the same with all the teaspoons.

Time for the first row.

Glue the teaspoons about 2cm from the bottom edge.

Glue them close to each other.

Now second row. About 1.5cm from the previous one.

Try to glue the teaspoons between the teaspoons from the previous row.

Cover entire styrofoam cone.

Glue a tinsel garland to the bottom edge of the cone and to its tip.

Glue the star to the tip of tree.

Decorate the Christmas tree by using beads.

Finally, apply some glitter.

And it's done.

This tree is a nice looking Christmas decoration.

My teaspoons are white, but you can use colored teaspoons or paint them.

Please give a like to this video and subscribe to my channel.

Thanks for watching. Bye bye.

Huawei P10 Lite VS Xiami Redmi Note 4 Greek [ENG SUBS] - Duration: 16:42.

i will start speak greek

because when i went to make the review on english i screwed up

here we go

here we have two mobiles the best seller

in the market as you know

we have the xiaomi redmi note 4

with the 3GB of ram

in the other side i have bought

huawei p10 lite

and this is best seller too as you know because its the cheapest version of the p10

although i believe the next will be

the p10 plus as it worth its money

yesterday in a store on which i tried it

i can say it has unlimited potentials you can do what ever

you want with the phone

now lets go to their specifications

the redmi note4

went on the market on august 2016

the huawei p10 lite

was announced on February 2017

both are still available at the market

the redmi note 4 has dimensions

151 x 76 x 8.4 mm

the p10 lite has

dimensions 146.5 x 72 x 7.2 mm

now about the weight

redmi note 4 is a little heavier at 175gr

the moment that the p10

lite comes at 146gr

minimum differences now if you are perfectionist you will understand the weight

now on the specifications

both have front glass the good thing with the redmi note 4

is that its body its full aluminium

and in my case

the p10 lite is only aluminium on the edges

both phones have been used harldy

i mean

on the restorations i do on classic cars with this i am

more carefull because it is still new. the poor 10 lite

as you can see here and here

it has some good fallings

the screen protectors i have

they are not correct because

we are in greece you can never find

the right glass (the curved)

with the edges so they can be perfect

so temporally i have install universal protectors

until the correct ones arrive from ebay

as i also bought a case from ebay for the p10 lite

the moment that in greece was costing

10 euros i bought this 3 or 3.5 euros

so guys no wonder why we buy from ebay

when you do the research when you buy this 1.5 euros

and here cost 10 obviously you gonna buy it from ebay

because we wont last

now as far as the monitors are concerned

we have lcd touch screens on both phones

16 milion colours on both

redmi not 4 has 5.5 inches screen

P10 lite has 5.2 inches screen

but when you put the case on the phone

as i use the phone on daily basis

the differences are then negligible

the bad thing is when you put the case off

and you use the phone it feels weird when holding

you should know that

i tried it my self

i mean after 3 months of use now that i am touching the phone with naked hands something is strange

i will open the screens so you can see them

the colours

with my view are more alive

obviously the redmi has bigger screen

i have the finger print on the p10 as it is my daily

i havent put that in the redmi

as i use it less

it suits me to be uncluttered simply

lets start with the main menu

huawei starts with a more beauty menu

and when i opened the redmi it had only the blue backround

now on their menus

far fewer applications the redmi 4

this is not the 4X

this is the 4 with the 3GB ram

on the other hand the huawei p10 has 4GB ram

i am not so interested

to games and applications to be honest

i am focusing on the photos

to be fast when entering the internet facebok instagram

beause i work from there with my business

and i need the social media for the adverts

especially on the summer

when we have the summer season here in the island. lets starts with

cameras and i will focus on the basic functions of the phones

as you can see

p10 lite is faster it opened quicker than the redmi 4

on its camera functions

the p10 lite gives you professional photo modes

as it has iso, timer

AF-C and

every function you will find on a DSLR

the same moment the redmi 4

it doesn't give you the functions of

a dslr

it has only some minimum functions

when i searched it

it only gives you some effects

like the filters on instagram

so that's

it's minus

that's why i prefer more the

the p10 when we talk about photography

to give you an example

i will take a photo

on the redmi

because i still haven't use the camera

nice

the good thing is for example on the coffee photo

it focused on the details

we should say that

but it doesn't give you so many options

while when we take the p10 lite

we can setup the f stop

with the professionals settings

but

because this comparison will not be fair

i will take a simple photo so i can compare them

nice

now we have both photos

as you can see the colours on the p10 lite are more vivid

the redmi note 4 is focusing better on the details

redmi 4 has greater clarity

on this case

let me zoom so you can see what i am saying

redmi 4 has focused better in the details

in comparison with the p10

i will open the light on the screens so you can see what i mean

here we can see the differences the colours are more vivid o n the p10

but in the redmi 4 colours are not so bright

so when we talk about photography the p10 is way better than the redmi 4

i leave in side the redmi 4

so i can show you some good quality photos

which i have take with timer

so you can understand what i mean. this one is night

with the timer set at 8 seconds

this is one of the best photos and i said

that moment that the phones worth its price and more

this photo also

another photo i took during the day

with simple settings and not the professional setup

no timer no f settings

it's on auto mode

so now you can understand that

if you are looking for a good mobile for photography

and you don't have a propper dslr

i will recommend the p10 lite for sure.

redmi 4

it has better graphic card

from the p10 lite

Redmin note4: Chipset Mediatek MT6797 Helio X20

P10 lite hasChipset HiSilicon Kirin 658

both have the option of fingerprint

both have lipo batteries

redmi note 4 has

Non-removable Li-Po 4100 mAh battery

i can see that it last longer

p10 has Non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh battery it doesn't like Instagram application

it consumes too much energy when its opened

now lets compare the video display

you can also see the specs of the phones online (https://www.gsmarena.com)

so i stop here

now lets talk about video display , lets open youtube

yes if i had open the wifi on both phones it would be better :P

i will go to Jon Olsson channel

because he has some good quality videos the graphics are very strong

so they are the best to our comparison

i will start with his latest video

i am changing the settings to 1080p

to be exactly the same

redmi note 4 is on top huawei p10 is on the bottom

now

lets see the differences live on a video stream

as you can see

the redmi has cleary

better display on the video

than the p10 lite

i will show you another 2 videos

from halcyon youtube channel its a photographer

that really helped me

when i started photography

here is its link

http://www.halcyonphotography.com/home

oh it started on one phone

so i stop it

we choose 1080p on both phones

now on this video the colours on the p10 are more vivid

than the redmi 4

so now its hard to spot the differences as they are not much on this video

but you can spot some

but now i believe that the redmi 4

has more vivid colours

than the p10

on my view i mean

ok redmi 4 is better in this case

because it has better graphic card

now some last things i want to say

i don't thing i have to say more

if you want to install games an play games

i am not fan of these stuff thats why i am not showing you

now about the hand feeling both phones

as i said are dignified

the p10 lite gives you the illusion that it's better construction and its plastic

although the redmi note 4 is full aluminium

you can understand that from the weight

and the feeling that you have when you hold the phone

you do not have to spend a fortune οn iphone 7

iphone 8 iphone 10 i don't know the model

the last iphone i had was the 3gs and then i was

samsung galaxy fanatic

this is the first year that i use chinese mobiles and i am totally satisfied

i will recomend the p10 lite

although the redmi 4 is 177 euros and the huawei is 255

due to the camera settings like a dslr

and I find it more handy in the pocket

i mean i haven't get used to the xiaomi until now

when I put it on my trousers it bothers me

maybe its because i am used to the p10 i can't tell for sure

but i recommend

for sure the p10 lite once again

now if you don't want to spend 255 euros

and you want to spend less than 200 euros go for the redmi note 4 for sure

both phones are dignified as i said. i haven't remove the protectors at the back because i like them

now i don't know how a review should be

i focused more on the cameras

on youtube video display which i am interested

I'm addressing to someone who use his phone daily

he doesn't buy the phone to maximize the specs

i will make another review for games

to see what phone is better

and faster but i must find some games that they are tough for the ram and graphics

then i will make the next review

thats for now. my prososal as theo

is the p10 lite

go for the huawei without second thought

its my first review

don't judge me hard i dont know how you want to see the reviews

comment bellow so i know what you want

that's from me

and have a nice day

we will contiue restoring cars

we will put more emphasis there

i need i wide lens tokina 11-16

for better shooting

and i will start reviewing also computers

and gadgets

that's all from me and have a nice day

2017 Gaming Diary | August (8/12) - Duration: 5:56.

After translating Lisa in french, i needed more content to quench my thirst for more.

Thankfully the community is really big and filled with countless fangames.

But there's always one that is constantly mentioned, and sometimes as much as the original

: Lisa the pointless. and it's not for no reason : Lisa The Pointless is amazingly faithful

to the original LISA, and most people can agree on the fact that it's even more beautiful

than the original game.

For its short length, Pointless has a pretty crazy artistic direction and it makes you

even wonder how can a game like this even be available to download for free.

This time around, you don't play as an important character in the world of Olathe.

You play as, a pointless guy.

That just meets some man, becomes friend with him, and will strive and struggle to find

a better place to live than garbage island.

The premise is interesting, and the character buildup between the two protagonists is really

charming.

However…

There was a block for me.

The game is extremely difficult, to a point that it's not even funny, and literally

killed half of my appreciation for it.

Pointless starts with an obvious reminder that it's a game to be played after having

played Painful and Joyful, but it's still hard as nails.

The items are ridiculously rare to a point that it's possible to get soft locked, and

yeah, i can live with having to be careful with the way i manage my inventory, but this

isn't Resident Evil, come on.

Resident Evil is more about dealing with your inventory than with the combat system.

But Pointless has even more status effects, even more deadly foes that can kill you in

one hit, and the saves are automatic and limited.

Yeah, painful mode is obligatory if you play Pointless.

I'm fine with the game being challenging, but it stops being a challenge if it just

ends up putting you in a dead angle : It's just tedious and busy work.

I just don't understand how having the choice between a normal and a hard option has an

impact on the story or the ambiance.

Yes, i get it, it's interesting to see how hard it gets when you're just some random

character and not the two most important characters in the universe's tale, but this reaches

the point where it ends up being unplayable.

And really that's a shame because everything else is absolutely great, and the best kind

of fangame that could exist.

If you're not too put off by what I said, do try it out.

It was about time I tried it out.

REZ Infinite is a rail shooter rhythmic game where you play as this, uhhh, thing, and lock

onto targets and make them explode in rhythm with the music.

The soundtrack and stage progresses with every shoot you do, and it gives off a sense of

immersion that you don't often see in rhythm games.

It's relatively simple until you get to the bosses where you have to be careful if

you don't want to restart the level from scratch.

The music is funky as hell, and there are some really pretty colors.

However what really caught my interest was Area X.

It's absolutely crazy, and you need to get Infinite just for this very short mode.

The level isn't on rail and automatic like the original game : Here, you're free to

roam around in space with absolutely gorgeous and amazing fireworks as you lock on and rock

your head in rhythm with what you shoot at.

The music is way more loud and experimental, and…

I just can't describe this.

You really need to play and feel this to get how satisfying it all is.

Get a headset or loud speakers, and get into the music.

You won't regret it.

And if you have a VR headset, this thing should be your top priority.

Drakengard 3 was the only Yoko Taro game I hadn't played yet.

I didn't expect much from it, considering my mixed feelings about Drakengard and what

I'd heart about it, and I was pleasantly surprised.

I love this game.

I expected the game to have a dull story and less obscure themes than the first game or

Nier, but in the end, Drakengard 3 perfectly mixes up what you know from the Drakengard

and Nier series with it's own amount of fresh content.

Yeah, the technical aspect of the game is ridiculous.

It's a 2014 ps3 game with a disgusting resolution and textures, an unstable framerate that sometimes

scopes below 10 fps when it gets messy, but the gameplay is already way better than Drakengard

and Nier.

It's still kinda repetitive, but at least here, you're free to experiment with combos

how you want, and it's fun to get into intoner mode, which is basically a berserk mode, or

switching weapons.

Bloods spouts out everywhere, and it's alright.

That's all I could ask for.

The game starts off pretty humorously,in a light and edgy way, which can sometimes be

fun, but it also tries way too hard to break the 4th wall sometimes to the point that it

stops being funny.

But that's until the game becomes more serious and emotional, surprisingly enough for a drakengard

game.

As I said, Drakengard 1 has pretty antipathic characters while Nier has extremely understandable

and loveable characters.

Drakengard 3 mixes those two into one to create characters that you should hate, but end up

appreciating to some extent.

But is it really okay ? They're literally the worst, but it's also possible to understand

them, but they're the worst, so…

But anyway : Another thing I enjoy is that this game has a shitload of female lead characters.

But unlike other anime or jrpg tropes, they're not plot devices or used for the male gaze.

On the contrary, they're insane, dirty, vulgar, liars, perverts and manipulative,

which totally goes against the current trends empowering girls that are either simply kicking

ass just like some macho guy or being pretty little sensitive ladies because that's what

the boys want.

Far from perfect, all of these themes, stories are mixed into one messy game that is Drakengard

3.

And it's sad to see this game being discredited as this "one taro game that's not as good

as the others".

It's good.

Sometimes reaaaally good.

So if you love Nier or Drakengard, please at least give this one a try.

And if you're not, well uh, try it anyway but I doubt you'll come out with a positive

opinion.

And done with august ! I hope you enjoyed this video.

Feel free to tell me what YOU played, and until now, I'll see you in the September

video !

FREAKSHAKE - CHRISTMAS STYLE - Duration: 4:21.

Ho ho it's time in Steve's kitchen to make a Freakshake and coming up to

Christmas why not make it a Christmas freakshake and don't forget we'll be

operating electrical appliances in the kitchen you're going to need your Santa

safety sunnies on, so let's get on and make this Freakshake.

This is a great one to make with the kids on Christmas Day or you could

actually make it the day before, we can decorate these glasses and you can serve

the Freakshakes on Christmas Day. Now I've made a chocolate ganache here, I

thought about this afterwards, I could actually probably have just used a

Nutella. Now we take some of this chocolate ganache and just put it around

the top inch or so of the glass. With that nice sticky ganache on the top I'm

going to take some M&Ms, I've got the Christmas M&Ms, so we've got the red ones

and the green ones and I'm just going to go around the outside of the glass,

alternately green and red. I'll try and get the m's facing out if I remember, oh

look at that perfect, we ended up with two greens. Now I've also got some

marshmallows I'm not going to go with any particular style here, I'm just going to

stick a few marshmallows on there. We've also got some caramel popcorn now it's

possible I might need a little extra chocolate ganache to stick these on so

I'm just going to sort of push them on to the side of the glass. I want it to look

as abstract and as crazy as possible. Now when you've finish your decoration on the

outside of the glass, set it in the fridge, let it firm up as I've done here and then it

gets nice and firm. Now Michele's actually done one down

here as well, so you can see her effort, she's cheated a little bit, she's put an

Elf on there which maybe makes it look a little bit better, I would point out

she's also got a bit messy and got chocolate on the inside of the glass .Now

this is not a competition but you can always vote down below by saying which

is best Steve or Michele that's Steve s t e v e and Michele s t e v e. So we're

going to make a nice simple ice cream based milkshake. I'm going to say maybe a couple

of scoops of ice cream per glass. Now we're going to add a little bit of milk in

there, just to loosen the ice cream up a little bit, pop the lid on nice and tight

and we're just going to blend this for about a minute to get a nice shake

Now I want to add our milkshake into the glass and stop about maybe an inch and a

half from the top, add a big scoop of ice cream on top of the milkshake. Now I'm

just going to take a candy cane I'm going to slide it in beside the ice cream,

at a little bit of an angle and then I've got some fresh cream, I'll start on

the outside, just go around the candy cane. Now this is a freakshake so we're

going, going to go nice and high with the cream. I've got one mince pie here, I want

to actually stick it into my cream somehow, I hope this is going to work,

it'll probably all collapse and go pear-shaped. No that looks pretty good

and then what we want to do is just take some of our M&Ms and decorate the

outside of this, just go crazy. I'll actually put some popcorn on there as

well. Now I've got a big long straw with a Santa Claus, I'm going to push my way

through that, it's going through the ice cream, into the milkshake. Got another

straw here which I've managed somehow to get a mince pie to stick to and just to

finish it off, for no reason other than I can, I've got an umbrella on there as

well. How cool does that look this is completely nuts, one of the craziest

drinks I've ever made, lots of fun, it looks fantastic, the kids are going to

love this. Be a little careful, make sure your glasses aren't too thin, you don't

want the children to cut themselves while they're having fun with a freakshake

These are pretty sturdy glasses. Time for me to give this a try....

mmm Lot of fun.... Oh yum yum yum. A huge Merry Christmas to you wherever you are,

have lots of fun this Christmas, make a Freakshake, send me across a picture on

any social media you like, be good and I will see you in another Steve's kitchen

very shortly, take care.

Guitar tip 07 sometimes bend with the second finger - Duration: 2:12.

HI Stuart Bahn here and this is tip number seven in my series of guitar tips videos.

This tip is to sometimes try bending with the second finger instead of the

third finger. Now this is not a rule that I think everyone should stick to;

this is just a suggestion that sometimes you try it because sometimes it works

out better. So my example that I'd like to show you is this kind of a phrase...

Now I think most people would probably bend it like I did there with the third finger

supported by the second and then the fourth finger hammering on and pulling off to fret 8.

And that feels okay. But when you try and adapt this and make it into something like this...

if you hold that like I was doing there, it's fairly uncomfortable, and

the reason is almost certainly because of this problem that all humans seem to

have which is that the third and fourth fingers don't really work very well; they

don't work very independently with regard to each other. They tend to want

to do whatever the other is doing. Now if you change that to the middle finger...

that's actually much more comfortable. The first phrase...

for me now is actually preferable to the third finger bend.

So, as I say it's not a rule just try it sometimes.

Middle finger bending instead of the third finger. If by the way you were playing this

12 frets higher so fret 15 up here...

then certainly you should be using the middle finger and the third finger

Simply because the frets are so small there's no room to get all four of

these fingers crowded in there.

So that is tip 7. I hope you found it helpful; please hit like if you did

and click Subscribe and I shall see in the next video.

Conferência de Wole Soyinca | 11ª BIENAL DO MERCOSUL - Duration: 51:06.

Welcome to the city of Porto Alegre professor shalinka ash a it is a

great honor to have you here as a guest of our book chamber and Debian our

foundation jean-paul sartre II visited Brazil in the 60s in 1960s and acting

after having addressed several audiences in different cities and and academic

centers in Brazil ELISA he asked where are they after Brazilians

I don't see them that's what sorry s in the 60s

professor shalinka is afro-brazilian culture visible to your eyes in the city

of porto alegre so I will pass the responsibility to continue this to ELISA

in the 1970s my husband and obvious my husband FPGAs Nascimento and I were in

Africa in Dakar for a meeting called the encounter for world alternatives which

was also the founding meeting of the Union of African writers which were

leisure Inka was at that time at the helm and in the company of Sheikh

Anthony up and Carlos Moore and others we were able to witness his commitment

to the idea of a goon a BB man Oh goo a BB man is the title of one of

his most famous poems and the word I'd be be man comes from is kiswahili and is

one example of the identity of african black people's above and beyond

ethnic-specific specificities and there are several

words in African languages that denote that identity and I think the commitment

that he has shown to the black people of the Diaspora is something that flows

from his organic force it comes from the soil of Africa itself and meets so many

of his relatives here in Brazil so perhaps that is one of the reasons that

Brazil as Cuba and other countries of the Americas have been focus of his

attention and I also want Joe Gatto to observe how important it is for the

Vienna biennial in Porto Alegre Tomiko su by a biennial to adopt the

theme of the triangle the Atlantic triangle with this emphasis on the

importance of the African origin of culture in the Americas and in Brazil

specifically the other countries of makisu as well Argentina Uruguay even

Chile as well because this is an area that has not been explored particularly

when we think about contemporary art and the importance of that new approach that

you have mentioned to me which is the idea of bringing the makers of that

culture themselves as protagonists of the biennial as protagonists of the way

the art is to be shown and produced is also a very new innovation in Brazil

my husband ideas do now the way that in Brazil often African

Brazilian culture is spoken of or represented by those who consider

themselves the authorities and who are not the makers of that culture so I

think that is a very important novelty which the presence of our guests

represents in a hugely dignified way own literary work has shown that rather than

needing to reinterpret Greek myths through an African lens we have the

African myths and cultures as the base of an autonomous creative tradition that

has its own foundations and actually are earlier than those which we normally

think of as the first for example dramatic traditions we have the habit of

locating those origins always in Greece but as Epis nascimento said in his

prologue to a book an anthology of black theatre called dramas for blacks and

prologue for whites which was published back in 1961 they were already showing

that those early origins of drama literature philosophy were earlier and

in Africa and the work of protagonists that were black Africans so that is a

very important part of what he represents and in 1977

in the context of the second world festival of black and African arts and

culture held in Lagos Nigeria it happened that I Jesus was a colleague of

professor Strang Inca at the university of affair and the Brazilian government

had already confiscated his passport and did everything it could to make sure

that he was unable to speak at the colloquium which was the political and

intellectual forum of the festival and his his thesis that he would present was

printed by the University of FA and we put it under our you know in our little

Brazilian Volkswagen and drove to Lagos and registered as observers and

distributed that among the African and I asked for delegations who were there and

the veto that was made by the government of Brazil together with the governments

that were running the festival was essentially opposed and and broken by

the force of Oh goo of oil Ashaninka and many other intellectuals and activists

who were there at the time and that book was published the next year here in

Brazil under the title the genocide of blacks in Brazil this book had we had a

preface written by Professor Choi Inca which told that story and has just been

reached here in Brazil or genessee jeux d'eau Nagar Brasileiro and it's not a

commemorative edition this edition is a continuation of the same struggle

because we have in Brazil at this moment not a

metaphor but a true situation of genocide the reason that the word

genocide is used by those who oppose the enormous proportion of black deaths

among the murders of which Brazil is now the champion in the world going much

farther in a three year period a hundred and ninety two thousand homicides were

committed in Brazil a number larger than all the twelve wars that were happening

in the world at that time including Iraq Afghanistan Colombia and many others

Israel and Palestine all put together in one three-year period this this

situation has not changed and the victims of that violence are black and

the reason for that is still racial discrimination we just had here the

launching of the Oxfam report on inequality in Brazil which showed the

same situation and we also witness professor today even in a country where

the African religious matrix is evident and is seen often as a tourist tourist

attraction but we have witnessed a wave of violence against the african

brazilian religious communities that has been very intense and so we know that as

we republish this book you are with us again in confronting those situations

and ogoun is with us again as the documentary that we saw yesterday I had

the pleasure of seeing the documentary by

Ilya and Ileana Marcus and Thiago peerage EDA and Adriano Miglia vodka

which and the readings of your work which inspire us to go on with this

struggle and I didn't want to I I know my I'm sure I'm speaking too much but I

did want to give a small witness to Professor schanke's effort to celebrate

Brazilian afro-brazilian heritage in Lagos in 2013 at the Lagos Black

Heritage Festival which was a celebration of the Africa zillion

traditions that survived in the Lagos community of those who returned from

Brazil to Africa and unfortunately did not have the enjoy the support of the

Brazilian government but did have the opportunity to have an exhibition of

Abbey Gia's now cement those paintings by by sending the digital files and

reproducing them and also performance of his play and at that festival perhaps

the most telling initiative is the exhibition of artwork by children

organized in the schools of Lagos children from six years old - 14 years

old called vision of the child and that year the theme of the exhibition was

thousand and one faces of corruption so the children did these artworks on their

different interpretations of the blight of

Russian which the fight against that I think is something that we in Brazil

share with world showing in his organic strides toward a new and better future

and so thank you very much for being with us yes in Brazil I do not feel I'm

a stranger and I've been coming here many many years Brazil Colombia even / -

Rico Colombia when I was yes wherever there is African retention for me that

is second home a very quick anecdote and I will give a formal informal but let me

give an episode to show that this is for me it's not an academic issue it's a

visceral issue I've never accepted the fact that Africa given our history ends

on its say line models that Africa is completely bounded and is hermit sized

by either the Atlantic or whatever other ocean but history has pushed that

continent outwards into the into infinite regions I was in Jamaica once I

was at the time in exile and I know and I read this actually in my memoirs I was

pursued at the time by very relentless late now dictator called Sani Abacha and

starting to get rid of him and finally I was thrown into exile

happy urging not only a mound sense of vastly diminished insecurity but

virtually pushed out by my colleagues and sent out to start at least

clandestine radio so that the world would know what was happening when I was

in Jamaica I was teaching at the University of West Indians and I had

been placed on trial and I've been sentenced in absentia and my mortal fear

was that if anything happened to me some well-meaning friends and family and I

had been placed on trial and have been sentenced in absentia and my mortal fear

was that if anything happened to me some well-meaning friends and family might

decide to take my body home and I suddenly did not want to my body to

occupy the same space as a dictator whom I be I despise dictators normally but

this one I despise with a with a passion he had he'd already killed my his hand

in fact colleague young colleague of mine cancer we were who was the leader

of the okuni people and their struggle for recognition and on trumped-up

charges cancer we were and eight other good issues were actually hand by this

man and so I was totally committed to if possible getting my hands on him and

hanging him but it looked more likely that he would get his hands on me

outside so I told my colleagues my family

I said don't take my body home I said I'm going to find a piece of land and if

anything happens to me in the Caribbean or anywhere they were African there was

African guests and make sure I'm married there don't

take me home and I began looking for the piece of life it was an obsession I mean

I just did not want to go home when that dictator was running that nation and

during my search I ran into the county of Westmoreland a Jamaica I've been told

and learned that there was some kind of Yoruba settlement there had stored that

information away in a kind of academic way but not really done much about it

kept the spawning I must visit one of these days I must visit one of these

days when things got to that extent I said it's about time I visited see what

it's like the place was called by kuta now I come from a bell kuta and there

was a similarity that the connection had been made even long before me so i

finally visited there and sure enough match the old lady who was the one

surviving member of the family which fled their slave masters fled up the

mountain and they looked for a place to settle which reminded them of home

bukata about kuta means under the rocks so they found that the settlement in in

West Mullan county restored their traditions cuisine dances music rituals

so that when a visitor the first time I saw a microcosm of my own a Bogota town

and I said yes anything happens to me make sure my body is buried there so

it's not it's not a technical it's not an as I says when an academic is not

just a historic issue I've rejected completely any notion that the African

content and is bounded by that accident of land

mass movements which isolated the continent broke it off from the

continental shelf or whatever no for me Africa exists outside its own borders at

the same time however we know that culture is not static anybody who thinks

that the transference of culture across any distance is going to be found in the

same form is absolutely deceiving himself or ourselves even within the

origins of cultures culture lose its dynamic but there are some core elements

it makes it possible for one to identify oneself with other people in any

community on home ground outside and this for me is what distinguishes what

you might call regional cultures the genuine authentic culture our people the

Orisha is one such example of transference which has not however

landed either in Colombia or in Brazil or in Cuba in exactly the same form I'll

give you an example take issue here we go to Brasilia you'll find a park of the

African deities central to this pantheon where all the deities are presented

central to it is issue in the Brazilian park of the deities issue is considered

the prime deity the principal deity in its form of origin this is not so issue

is an important member of the pantheon of the deities for the issue in African

society is in Yoruba society especially where he belongs

he is the messenger of the gods but at the same time he is the gatekeeper to

the principle of divination which is the province of our liudmila and if you look

at any fireball the divination tray you see a figure out there in Nigeria in

Yorubaland that figure that face are the head of

the tray is known as Buju Aoife the eye of Aoife here however I find that in the

diaspora many people believe that that figure is issue now as a historical

reason for that kind of transformation and it's one which speaks to the

competitiveness of the Yoruba when they found themselves in the diaspora when

the British Christian evangelist arrived in Europe Island they needed something

crucial to be able to propagate their religion they needed evil they had to

have evil to ensure that there would be converted were made to feel that they

were living in perpetual sin and so they needed a representative of Satan of the

devil so they looked around the pantheon and said now which of these deities can

we co-opt and transform in a negative way and impress on the people that this

is their enemy this is the obstacle to paradise to eternal bliss

so the picked on poor issue now it's in compensation it's in compensation for

that by the Yoruba who came here in defiance of that demonization of this

deity but issue got catapulted to the position of principle deity in other

words we were saying shall we sit to the Roman Catholic

masters oh I see you picked an issue you demonize the interning evil where we're

now going to make him the principal deity it's one of those historic chance

you know transpositions which however in no way nullifies or reduces the

authenticity of the Orisha of Orisha worship if you go to Cuba and you see

the representation of the deities the style the style of the sculptures is

anything but the Yoruba style of obstructing it's very realistic in Cuba

same as in Brasilia quite well like the eerie the floating deities of El

Salvador on the artificial leg at a phone - oh remind me where I first saw

these sculptures and then she fought me in the name of the sculptor Marina so

the point of this is that every generation every society interprets and

reinterprets the deities in their own way in their own image in relation to

their own histories and one of the side passages of African history is a very

often they had to come back to the recovery of their own culture their own

identity through European eyes all that is coming towards an end African society

is reclaiming its own history and I believe that the corpse of African

images and African presence in events like the Biennale here and the Book Fair

go a long way towards that restoration which is long overdue it's almost like

the communication system I think the the urination is next door to been a

republic of B'nai but about 30 years ago to speak to somebody in Binnie you had

to go through the exchange box in the United Kingdom and

then goes to Paris and then Paris to Bennett just text or and is the same

principle that has applied to African cultures not just Yoruba culture that

the interpretation which has been adopted I mean II the convention the

complete distortion of many symbols of African society of any habits of many

rituals the demonization of some of the most sacred principles of African

society that process has been reacquired in many instances by african society

themselves so that when you go to some universities you find yourself having to

argue with people say no no no no you see this happens to be my religion this

happens to be our society this is my culture let me tell you what the

babalawo who lives next door to me how he interprets this or that but no tomes

have been written they burn to the canonical structure of teaching of

understanding African societies and the reclamation process is what is going on

among young Africans new generation Africans today at least spoke about the

first act 77 the black African festival of black and African cultures the

symposium she talked about was a tug of war there we found that the obstacles

the opposition was not even so much this time the European world of intellection

of cultural of art history of culturally assessment no it was even our very

neighbors we are up world they wanted very much not just to be a part of that

festival but to be the intent to be part of the integral identity of the African

continent and we said wait a minute yes we're neighbors who enables

but that doesn't mean that there is no black African culture oh and then you

had the ideologues democracy's the class conscious protagonists of egalitarian

you to appear so this is backward thinking this backwards thinking no you

want to think of Africa you got to think of pan-africanism in terms of anybody

who's ever been a victim it even became that reductionist but he was never been

a victim of colonial or in perilous domination you thereby became an instant

community we found that appalling they are apt to have their own culture it's a

very valid one lots of the history of our protest one which to which in fact

the European world owes a lot but it is not the authentic African history and so

this became a real battle and while you have only one hand somebody like a deist

in a cimento effort be made to exclude him you had the Arab world bringing

their own culture once again and I say once again very deliberately once again

to dominate and impair and become new Imperator's of the African continent I

said once again simply because the slave trade was not only in one direction the

trans-saharan slave trade preceded the transatlantic towards Europe and the

Caribbean and even outlasted it I would say yes we may share certain things but

we also are differentiated by by certain things my memory in edit by memory in

addition to even the actual cultural realities by economic strategies

economic relationships by history and so on just give us some time it was equal

time to reconstruct the African identity and reconstruct it in the direction in

which history has already taken it without any artificial ality and it's

that mission right I don't like to use the word mission because it's it sounds

like something outside oneself let me just say it's that process of recovery

that dominates some of the cultural strategies which we have adopted she

mentioned one of them the black and up the Legos Black Heritage Festival one of

whose features the most fascinating for me and the most rewarding was its

addition of what we called the black in the Mediterranean blue and the whole

idea was this that will take the Mediterranean which belongs to everybody

this is the Concorde to the greatest world civilizations from which the

African continent however has been consistently excluded hours diminished

whereas we know historically the extant works the Econo graffia that region

points very clearly to the contribution which the African culture has made to

the whole world so we said all right let's take this this pond

call the Mediterranean I will check all the various European nations around

around that that lake and we'll take them one by one by one I will see what

effect their incursion into Africa has had on Africans and in addition to see

what effect African presence around the

Mediterranean what contribution it has made to the cultures of Europe and we

began with Italy Italy Eritrea Ethiopia etc and even parts of West Africa that's

is the first Brazilian in fact was not been the first Brazil can sometimes be

very difficult country and especially in terms of its own history and its

presence its reluctance to acknowledge African presence and so we had a very

hard time with Brazil so very quickly since there was so much foot dragging we

began with Italy but by that time we've made up our minds

giving ourselves more time we made up my mind that Brazil was next willy-nilly I

visited here at least knows all about it the Africa house here a sister even the

Nigerian embassy was part of you one of your presidents came to Nigeria and

together with our president Jonathan actually announced the upcoming festival

involving both Brazil and Nigeria we came here we were promised a contingent

of I think it began with about 150 yeah mother close to 200 and gradually the

contingent diminish to about 75 men 50 then 25 and then finally we were offered

four of five I can't remember and there was supposed to be in fact they were

supposed to come I hold a cinema workshop in the year it is very

depressing even recently there was an opera supposed to come from Brazil and a

new opera based on the history of the some slaves between Africa and Brazil

and we look forward so much to have in that opera open in Nigeria

he did not something happened I met officers officials state officials sent

federal officials and to cut a long story short there was no contingent but

fortunately we had FDS and we performed the place of our dears who put up an

exhibition of our dears and we were able again luckily to trap this dance troupe

zai zai what's the name they are forgotten and they were able to acquire

yes to do that so we did manage to to show a Brazilian presence but it was

very disappointing and the Orisha took a hand and it was that year that Brasilia

lost badly in World Cup to a little-known country I don't know that

was the judgment of the gods and I made sure that ice but we're nothing if not

persistent with nothing if not persistent and I tell you what a new

scheme is the reverse journey we believe has to take place yes the slave

experience was traumatizing the memory is still raw in many areas but

culturally there has been some compensation the very knowledge the very

same biases that has taken place between African nations and especially the

Yoruba world and the Caribbean and particularly Brazil and an ongoing steam

right now is what we call the grand voyage home in which we are

collaborating with the Alamo the Isle of Palermo in Italy and Sicily

with mayors very enthusiastic and we trying to get a boat this should have

taken place last year once again there were problems but we haven't given up

and the whole idea is that the boat will take off from Palermo and that those who

want to participate will fly from Brazil from Cuba from Colombia wherever to

Palermo and the boat will take off towards North Africa and hug the West

African the North African and West African coast stopping those towns like

a siren like the car Ghana all years of course where it played a very strong

role in the history of the trans-saharan and

trans Atlantic slave trade I know the boat will be exhibitions performances

will be lectures seminars will be a constant it's like there to be a movie

in feast of the know of the annual African festival only this time it will

terminate in Lagos itself and there'll be the worshipers from the lorisha

worshipers from Brazil just what we've always planned and what we think is

coming close to fruition one of the greatest dreams we have is to have a

parade on one side of the Orisha worshipers from Brazil and on the other

side the traditional Alysha priests and shrines shine leaders and to have an

ecumenical meeting the dialogue between what the culture of the orator has

become here the way it's been transformed and what it is in origin

it's a it's one event it's going to be unique event not just for the worshipers

themselves but what scholars the quote-unquote experts who insist on

pronouncing on the autochthonous cultures and religions habits fact of

that society so it's on once again but this time we're not depending on new

Brazilians you let us down too badly before but we're just letting you know

no you you're making some composition towards you're making some redress some

redress and I think we're even going to shift focus to Porto Alegre in terms of

I want to make sure that I place the holy shalt worship in its proper context

because one does one to err on the other side and return may we shall worship

into a kind of ghetto categorization sometimes I use expression invisible

religions when I use that expression I'm talking about invisibility from the

other side in other words everything is invisible to a blind person and if the

world does not know about the Orisha it's not really that the Orisha are

invisible but that the other side insists on being a blind towards the

lessons of the reflector the meaning of Alicia is ecumenism if you want to look

for a word a theological word for Lucia is ecumenism tolerance a recognition in

all aspects and as represented in all the deities the truth is a permanent

quest truth is not doctrinaire the humanity is in constant search for truth

and that Alicia is the gateway to truth so Alicia cannot be oppressive Alicia

has never in its history anywhere fought a crusade when it's only have launched a

jihad Porsha does not even believe in proselytizing Felicia believes that

every individual finds his or her own God's Godhead and that is why in a

traditional compound we will have side by side for green Iago Osho see

Yemaya or Sri within the same family unless total harmony and when the gods

have their rituals let us say it is a goal season it's quite normal to see for

instance the worshipers of also tripping out to celebrate because

the Yoruba understand that these deities as symbolic gateways to the ultimate

attainment of truth which is the permanent search for our humanity let me

end with one story because I want to place Alicia in a universal context and

what it actually means to us sometimes and its relationship to other deities

it's a personal story but I want you to accept that I'm speaking as a kind of

surrogate the Arusha in this respect in terms of trying to represent delicious

sensibility I hallucinate at once it took place in at Heathrow Airport Hotel

the Sofitel I had an overnight going to a concert cancellation I had forced to

stay at the airport hotel away and I got to work since I had the whole day I got

to work and I thought I worked for about an hour two hours and then going to

London look at the sides and come back but I sometimes happen it happens by

dusk I was still working at lost time at lost count of the time completely as I

came out to the corridor as I turned the corner I was confronted by a sight which

made me convinced me that I was hallucinating because I passed through

that passage several hours before if I go to work and suddenly there were

goddesses everywhere floating around when walking on padded feet it was like

as if the rainbow had frog man had fragmented and shards of the rainbow

were just occupying all the space the Florida's so I ducked back into my room

so what was this I just saw then I thought Oh

could it be I was dead are these creatures from the outer world

actually it wasn't a bad sensation you know feeling you're dead and it's rather

nice because I was feeling that I was seeing things

so my coffee cup was still there where brooch on espresso and television

suppose they said well okay but after a while I said let me go and check on

these on this thing I saw just now if they are goddesses then I represent aku

at this convocation of gods and goddesses so I came out when I came out

everything had disappeared they all vanished so I walk very slowly to that

same area near the lift and the stairs who had seen all these extraterrestrial

beings in multicolored when I got there was a balcony I looked over and there it

was a wedding was in process an Indian wedding and seated at one end was the

god gana Ganesha the elephant so I stood there all the travelers the voyagers

they were all around the drink hands with poles watching this scene and the

beautiful ceremony of the this Indian is Indian wedding it just occupied me for

the rest of the day and I was not alone it was instead of the usual three piece

suit tuxedo weddings which you normally associate with you know that in tablet

was transformed into a temple from the Asian world and from that also that

scene I was transported to my own society where the habit of Ashura be as

you know the Arabia which is they kind of gave a been a beautiful costumes

which are worn at weddings in which the family expresses solidarity by dressing

in the same costume but with variations it was identical to that and this is how

women show solidarity with one another which they are declaring I'm a member of

the family of that bride I remember the family a

bridegroom not just extended family but friends and everything take the same

costume and you have the same principle of human solidarity at events which are

crucial which mark the milestones of the family the community etc etc and mi mind

from that colorful scene that notation sensation I'm and then drifted from the

Indian world to the land of Eurasia and then to the land of the wish are

transported here and I might went to those floating deities on the lake the

El Salvador and this for me was the expression of that Yerba world as

interpreter in fact all the humanistic religions sometimes I use expression

these secular religions because your shall are never aloof from humanity

they're not likely what I call the unicellular gods who remote lands where

gods who can be converted to evil as is happening today with movement like Boko

Haram Isis and so on who declare that there are religions of peace but in

actual fact turn the world into a slaughterhouse

all in the name of parity it is not possible to manipulate Eurasia in that

way on the contrary delecia brings humanity together

expresses a unified Godhead since to us in the words of that Muslim sage Teatro

Boca known as the sage of Bandi agora from Mali says to us the truth is

manifold but your truth is my truth and there is the truth Felicia say come to

the Alesia and be wise thank you very much

the passive shalinka during these two weeks will collect with questions for

you what do you read when you go to bed the truthful answer to that is that by

my bedside i will stack of books in the toilet i will stack of books and I read

from time from book to book so that it can take me a month to

actually finish some of those books in what order I read them I do not know

it's a question of temperament and the reason it takes so long is that by the

time I've got to bed I'm already tired and the next thing I know the book is

falling down and I'm dreaming but if you ask me ideally what of all these various

books which I have by my bedside ideally if I had to pick one and say this should

be my bedtime book I think it'll be the poetry of Khalil Gibran

which is one of my favorite part so and Khalil Gibran is very much an expression

of what we've been talking about this ecumenical spirit so if I had to choose

a book to send me off to sleep it will be the poetry of Khalil Gibran thank you

so I would like them to thank you very much for accepting our invitation to

come to Porto Alegre well welcome to come back and put Porto Alegre in that

scenario you mentioned yes we are very happy to to be in this map and I would

like to thank everybody for coming here and please enjoy the last day of our

beautiful Book Fair thank you very much thank you

A lot of people ask me, how do you get these jobs?

Advertising, Cinema...

But maybe, that's not the right question.

The question should be...

What is music?

Why do we need music?

How to make money out of my music?

Everything that I built in my life it was through music.

Nothing else, no other income other than music.

How many "Justin Biebers" are out there?

Just them are able to make a living out of their music?

My dream as a kid, was to visit Nintendo.

Working today on a project for one of the biggest games in the world...

it's something that I never dreamed about 15 years ago.

I'm Claudio Girardi.

Bless me father, for I have sinned.

It has been three years since my last confession.

I lied to my parents, I hit my brother and sister, I didn't attend a single fall sporting

event, I shaved all the hair off my dog's back,

Whoa whoa whoa!

Back up, what was that?

I shaved all the hair off my dog's back?

No no, not the dog, the third one, the third one.

I...

I didn't attend a single fall sporting event?

Well, my son, that's a very serious sin.

A grave sin, in fact.

So, for your penance, it's gonna be a special penance.

I normally don't give this penance, but, in order to receive God's love and forgiveness,

I need you to try out for every single winter sports team.

You know what, Padre?

That's a..... that's a great idea!

I knew I had to be in peak physical condition

if I wanted to make this work.

I was pretty good at Wii bowling,

why not give actual bowling a shot?

Even after my first roll,

I knew I was the best bowler here.

You're garbage!

Come on, buddy!

I've seen a cactus throw a better bowling ball than you buddy!

You're trash!

These guys had some skill,

but I knew I could take it to another level.

Going into my meeting with coach,

I knew I had it in the bag.

Let's go coach!

Listen, Bishop, this really isn't working out for ya.

You're the worst bowler I've ever seen.

You need to try a different winter sport.

Bishop, how'd it go in there man?

I didn't let it faze me though.

I knew I was gonna go do work at basketball

cause I'm a real Big Baller.

Let's go coach!

Listen, Bishop, this is not gonna work out.

You've gotta try another winter sport.

Even though I'm 0 for 2, I decided I would try swimming next.

I don't really know how to swim, but it can't be that hard.

I play NHL all day on Xbox,

this is gonna be easy.

I started my warmup with some stick handling.

Some clappers from the blue line never hurt anyone!

Went right down the slot,

got a nice clapper in,

and even blocked a shot.

Got a couple one-on-ones with the goalie,

he was looking like Swiss cheese out there!

They kept dumping pucks in the corner and telling me to chase 'em.

I don't know why though.

So, uh, Bishop, you know, thanks for trying out,

but you're really the worst player I've ever seen in my life

You need to find a different winter sport.

Bishop, how'd it go in there man?

Man, they made a huge mistake!

That's not the locker room.

That was a big mistake on their part!

I had one more shot to make a winter team, so this was it.

I started out doing some classic WWE moves

to catch 'em off guard.

Oh my God.

Good God Almighty!

Good God Almighty!

They killed him!

You alright Bishop?

Bishop!

Chris!

Bishop noooooooo!
