SP Cómo deshacerse de Barras negras en los vídeos Youtube - Duration: 2:55.

Hi, I'm Sami, from Fawzi academy, In this video, I will talk about,

Why you may notice some widescreen videos that have black bars on all sides. The video file includes horizontal black bars

(letterboxing) at the top and bottom of the video player in order to fit a 4:3 aspect ratio. YouTube 16:9 aspect ratio player then adds

vertical black bars (pillarboxing) to fit a 4:3 formatted video to YouTube player dimensions. The end result is black bars all around the video

(windowboxing). If you're uploading widescreen videos, you can

avoid windowboxing by cropping your video to the 16:9 format.

YouTube uses 16:9 aspect ratio players. The YouTube player automatically adds black bars to videos in the player so that videos are

displayed correctly, Without cropping or stretching, no matter the size of the video or the player.

If you upload a 16:9 video at its original aspect ratio (1280x720 recommended). The video will fill the YouTube widescreen 16x9 player.

If you upload a 4:3 video at its original aspect

ratio (640x480 recommended). The video will display in the widescreen player at the correct size and ratio with pillarbox bars.

If you add letterbox bars to the top and bottom before uploading so that the video fits a 4:3 player.

The YouTube player will add pillarbox bars so the 4:3 video fits widescreen. Bars will surround the video.

To fit the player perfectly, encode at these resolutions: 2160p: 3840x2160.

1440p: 2560x1440. 1080p: 1920x1080. 720p: 1280x720.

480p: 854x480. 360p: 640x360. 240p: 426x240.

10 Things to do in Ljubljana, Slovenia Travel Guide - Duration: 12:48.

Well hello hello.

We find ourselves in a new destination.

We are currently in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

We've only been here a few days but I can already say this is one of our new favorite

cities in Europe.

Yeah, it sure is.

It is just been so charming.

It is small, so easy to navigate on foot and we've just been having a lot of great experiences

here.

So we're going to show you 10 different things you can do here in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Let's go check it out.

So we are starting out sightseeing here right in the center of town.

We are in Preseren Square (Prešernov trg).

Beautiful pink church behind us and guess what we also have 3 bridges.

We're at the triple bridge.

Triple bridge.

What is the reasoning behind this what do you think?

I have no idea.

It is being used a lot.

You know there is tonnes of people walking, there is people biking and I just saw a river

cruise go right underneath.

Yeah.

The triple bridge so.

I think we should choose the main bridge.

Let's walk down the middle bridge of the triple bridge.

Let's go.

Prešeren Square is a central meeting spot in the heart of the Old Town, so it made sense

to start our tour of Ljubljana here.

The square is named after Slovene national poet, France Prešeren, and this is where

you'll also find the Franciscan Church of the Annunciation (Frančiškanska cerkev),

lots of gelato shops, and the baffling bridge we just mentioned.

As for the reasoning behind the Triple Bridge (Tromostovje), it turns out that at one point

there was only one bridge, which wasn't wide enough to handle vehicles and pedestrians.

To prevent a bottleneck, an architect decided it would make sense to build two additional

bridges for pedestrians on either side of the middle bridge.

Of course, today, the whole area is closed to traffic, so that leaves visitors with 3

bridges to choose from.

So Sam you've been finding all of these bridges pretty fascinating but this one in particular.

I've been most fascinated by this bridge for one very particular good reason.

And I've seen a lot of love lock bridges around the world but I've never seen one so organized.

Normally there are way too many love locks.

It is almost like tearing down the bridge but here they are like almost like perfectly

symmetrical.

There is not too many.

It is very tidy.

It is very tidy.

It is the tidiest love lock bridge I have ever seen.

And this is not the only fascinating bridge.

If you just look over here I believe that one is called the dragon's bridge and we're

going to go walk to that one next.

If you keep walking east along the river, you will come across the famed dragon bridge

(Zmajski most), which is guarded by four dragons - one on each corner.

Legend has it that Jason, a hero from ancient Greek mythology, founded this city and killed

a dragon, so that explains the bridge and the numerous dragon statues you'll see scattered

around Ljubljana.

(Live Music)

Alright, so after walking across a gazillion bridges it feels we have finally reached the

central market (Osrednja ljubljanska tržnica).

Yes.

It smells amazing.

We're in the flower section right now.

Yeah.

And it like fresh blooms.

Yeah, so we are noticing lots of flowers.

Also there is a really big fruit and produce section and there is also another section

on the other side which is selling souvenirs.

Yeah, and all that being said we are visiting in the middle of the week and it is also late

in the afternoon so it is not super busy.

A lot of the stands are starting to shut down but it still looks really pretty.

So let's have a look.

If markets are your thing, Ljubljana's Central Market is another spot worth checking out.

Aside from fresh produce, plants and flowers, we also noticed a few food trucks along the

perimeter where you can grab a meal on the go.

And while you're in the area, just west of the market you have Ljubljana Cathedral

(ljubljanska stolnica), also known as St. Nicholas Church, which is another major landmark

in the Old Town.

We had big sightseeing plans on our second day in Ljubljana, but first up, we needed

to sample some Slovenian food so we went to Allegria.

Sam ordered Zlikrofi (zhlee-krofi), a Slovenian dumpling stuffed with potato, which came with

a lamb goulash.

And I ordered the Slovenian sausage with cabbage and mashed potatoes.

Then for dessert, we had a layered pastry stuffed with poppy seeds, walnuts, apples,

raisins, and a light dusting of icing sugar.

All of that including wine was 28 Euros.

After a filling lunch, we were ready to kick off our sightseeing.

Our first stop: Ljubljana Castle (Ljubljanski grad - Laibacher Schloss), which sits on Castle

Hill overlooking the city.

Alright today the sightseeing commences with a visit to Ljubljana Castle and we just got

our tickets.

We paid 10 Euros per person and that was to take a ride about the funicular so we could

save our legs but it also included admission to the castle so not bad.

Originally built as a medieval fortress in the 11th century, Ljubljana Castle has seen

many redesigns and renovations.

If you're only wanting to visit the central courtyard, you can enter free of charge, however,

if you pay for the ticket, this allows you to climb the Outlook Tower which offers 360

degree views of the city.

Alright Sam, you ready to climb some more stairs?

Yeah, we've been burning off lunch and now we've got the spiral staircase.

Alright, lead the way.

Let's do it.

Oh, it is a push door.

Yep.

Push to go in.

It is kind of cool.

I mean cool as in like the temperature is cool.

Haha.

Cool as in refreshing.

It is refreshing.

That is the word I'm looking for.

Alright guys this isn't exactly the kind of staircase I was expecting or the kind of staircase

I enjoy because I'm not a huge fan of heights and with this one you can really see all the

way down like you can see through the steps, you can see to the side oh my gosh.

But we're almost there.

Alright time for the next adventure.

Yeah, so we're going to be taking a river cruise and we're going to get really good

views of Ljubljana from a high vantage now it is time to see it from ground level.

Well, more specifically river level.

Yeah.

Let's do it.

How much was it?

Oh, it was 8 Euros per person.

There are a few different departures for cruises down the Ljubljanica.

We boarded a cruise directly underneath the Love Lock Bridge (Mesarski most), which is

actually called Mesarski Most.

This was our favourite activity in Ljubljana and it was a super relaxed way to watch the

city go by.

Alright, so I would say we got the best seats in the house.

We're up front.

Is that the bow or the helm?

I don't really know my boat lingo.

Put it this way we're sitting in lawn chairs yeah and we're going to have front row seats

so.

And we even have blankets like if you do this tour later on in the day it gets a bit chilly

so this is perfect.

Alright, so that was a lovely boat tour.

So so relaxing.

It was so relaxing you slept for half of it.

To be fair as soon as we got on we each got a glass of wine.

Sam got the red.

I had a glass of white.

Then you wrapped yourself up in a blanket and you were out like a you were as snug as

a bug.

I missed half the journey.

You really did.

But anyway it was gorgeous and that was a really good river cruise.

Yes.

Some river cruises suck to be honest.

That one was good.

That one was good.

From what I saw.

Yeah, from what you saw.

I was awake for the whole thing and it was really good.

It was nice and long.

45 minutes.

So I'd recommend that.

Only 8 Euros.

Pretty good value.

And now time for ice cream.

Oh yeah.

Alright guys so stopped at Cacao which is the most famous ice cream shop in the whole

city.

Double scoops.

Double scoops.

So what did you get?

Rum and raisin and pistachio.

And how is it?

Oh, it is good.

I've been already digging in.

Haha.

And I got santo domingo chocolate and wild strawberries.

It tastes so much of rum.

Look at this.

Look at the size.

I know these are huge.

And we had a huge lunch oh my gosh.

Ultimate pigs over here.

Well welcome to what is probably the most colorful neighborhood in the whole city.

We are currently in Metelkova and this area used to be an ex-army garrison and then it

was taken over by squatters in the 90s and they kind of started their own artsy commune

with their own rules.

There is lots of street art everywhere and this place kind of reminds me of a few different

spots we've visited this year.

One of them I'm thinking about is kiefernstraße in Düsseldorf.

Yeah.

Where they also had this squatting complex.

I mean we've seen a bit of this in Berlin.

There was that neighborhood in São Paulo.

Beco de Batman.

Yeah, Batman Alley.

Yeah.

And yeah it is really colorful so let's go have a look around.

Sam how would you like to be an alien riding a giraffe.

Would that suit you?

Yeah, that could be an okay life.

Give up the life of travel.

I'll just be an alien riding a giraffe.

There you go.

Why not.

Straight out of Star Wars.

Metelkova is home to a number of clubs and venues that host concerts, performances, and

exhibitions, but even if your visit doesn't coincide with one of these events, you can

still visit for the street art.

As for getting there, Metelkova is located across the train station and over a few blocks

east.

Now here's another restaurant recommendation.

One place we really enjoyed was Sarajevo 84, a restaurant specializing in Balkan cuisine.

Not only were the portions massive, but everything we ordered was absolutely delicious.

We had a feast featuring: grilled meat with pita and onions, baked beans and sausage,

roasted peppers, and a flaky pastry stuffed with cheese.

All of that food including dessert, only came to 23 Euros.

And if you're in the mood for museums right across from Tivoli Park you've got a whole

bunch of different museums and galleries for you to choose from but we're going to skip

that because we've had a long day and we have a big adventure coming up tomorrow.

What is the plan for tomorrow?

We're going to Bled.

But speaking of galleries and museums, a few you'll find in the area include: the National

Gallery (Narodna galerija), the Museum of Modern Art (Moderna galerija), and the National

Museum of Slovenia (Narodni muzej Slovenije).

Lastly, we finished off the day at Tivoli, which is the largest park in Ljubljana.

It's located west of the Old Town and it's home to numerous gardens.

We only visited a fraction of it, but it was a nice way to wind down the day and wrap up

our time in this city.

And that's it for our time in Ljubljana.

Our visit was short, tasty, and relaxing, and we're really glad we made some time

to visit this underrated capital.

Now you guys know the drill; if there are any other things to do in Ljubljana that we

may have missed in this travel guide, feel free to share your suggestions with fellow

travellers in the comments below.

On the Ruinberg map when your base is on top

On medium tank it's best to take a position under the stone

On the way, whenever possible, always break the trees

In the event of a retreat, they will always help hide your tank

From the position under the stone, a good overview

Shoot all the tanks that you see, usually these are light tanks

Then look at the situation on the mini map

If enemy tanks broke through the defense of the city

Then it is better to take a defensive position

So that you can see the tanks that will capture your base

If everything is fine in the city, continue the offensive

As a rule, when the enemy remains in the minority

And he has an easy tank and you have artillery

Light tank will try to break through to the artillery and destroy it

It is always worthwhile to warn this case

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah..

It's the whole idea of Asia..

Yeah, you bow a lot..

Yeah, and you do not need the whole deep bow..

That's another thing..

Do not try to hug people, they do not hug in Korea..

Only if you like a couple or family, like an even families not don't hug that much..

Notice the little bow or like when you sort of nod -

It's just a little bow like this..

You give them a little bow..

Perfect, bro..

That's it?

Yeah, he's Korean..

Why did they do that? Why do they bow?

It's just the sign of respect..

It's like uuh.. It's just something -

- they've done since the old days..

Cool..

You can do deep bows -

- but it's only in very formal situations..

Okay..

Not when you're asking someone for directions on the street..

No, no, wow, who would do that?

That's such a.. such a stupid idea..

Number two..

Do not think that Korea's gonna be super warm -

- especially in the winter, because it is not..

Do not come out with t-shirts and shorts -

- whatever you do..

Yeah, it's very very cold here..

It was snowing here..

Yeah, it was snowing here..

I instagrammed it..

Okay, that was two things, that I shouldn't do..

Final thing..

Do not vlog with someone taller than you -

- because it makes you look very short..

I can go like this..

We'll film from below..

Wauw, you're so tall!

Third thing, final thing..

Do not think you have to eat everything with chopsticks..

It's not a law..

You can eat some things -

- with your hands or with a spoon..

It's fine..

You know something like potato chips -

- or something like that..

Do not try to eat them with chopsticks..

Yeah whoo..

Yeah, that's really difficult..

Only a very silly person to do that -

- and that's it bro..

You stick to those 3 things, you'll be fine..

Okay, cool!

Well, I won't do any of these things -

- because that would make me a silly person..

Exactly bro..

Great..

Guys, if you want to know more about Korean culture -

- go check out a Emil's channel -

- because that's where you'll find it..

That is where you will find it..

In a language that you can understand..

Exactly..

What do we do now Emil?

I am not this short..

He is way too tall..

He's making me look so... I hate it.

Get down, come on..

Get down on it..

You're a liar man..

We'll do it a bit more like this..

Yeah, if you do it from this angle they can't tell dude..

Ouhee, it's so cold..

Let's get inside..

Thanks for watching this video..

- then subscribe to my channel -

How to make an easy DIY folding table for your home - ep03 - Roland Master Maker - Duration: 15:24.

In this episode we'll build a foldable table that turns into a painting using inexpensive

and easy to find materials.

To make this project truly special we'll customize it using Roland prints.

Hi folks, I'm Custom Cez and I welcome you to this new episode of Roland Master Maker,

the web series where I'll document a number of custom house projects hoping to inspire

you to do some amazing things in your own home.

In the process I'll show you some of the incredible machine that Roland has to offer.

As I mentioned in the beginning today I'm making a foldable table that turns into a

wall painting, ideal for those of you who need a table but are short on space.

If you'd like to build this project yourself you'll find downloadable blue prints and

graphics in our facebook page, just follow the link in the description and join the fun.

Since you are at it don't' forget to like the page to keep up to date with the episode

releases and to take part in the discussion.

The main elements in this build are the OSB wood boards, a very inexpensive type of wood,

some frame molding, a canvas and some easy to find tools.

I want to start by building the frame onto witch I'll install the canvas.

It's a simple rectangle.

To make the structure lighter I figured to cut out the center part.

I've already prepared the boards to size using techniques I've already showed extensively

in the previ ous episodes, so once I've measured and marked the cuts I can precede

with taking out the middle section of the board.

This frame is important because I need it to put the canvas at the right distance from

the board in order to hide the legs of the table.

After removing the main part of the center section is just a matter of removing the corners.

The board is 18 millimeters thick so I'll take my time and do a nice clean job.

For debarring the edges I like to use an abrasive sponge and in no time at all the frame is

ready to go.

Now I want to make the two notches that will be required for housing the legs once open.

These notches will serve the purpose of blocking the legs in position.

I've also prepared some strips of wood as wide as the frame molding.

Now I just have to cut to the right length as specified in the blue prints.

I've decided to go with collapsible legs so that I can make the table top as long as

I want.

Differently, ether the table would be too small or the legs too tall and consequently

not suitable for comfortable sitting.

Now I have all the pieces I need to put together the inside of the folding table.

I'll notice that one short side of the inside frame is cut at a 45 degrees angle, this is

because it needs to allow the molding to rotate with the legs as you can see here.

Once all the parts are properly aligned I can screw the frame to the back of the table.

Everything fits nicely so I would like to take care of a detail that will make everything

look much nicer in the end.

The edges of the boards are quite ugly to look at so I've decided to apply some pre-glued

PVC edgebanding to them.

It is quite easy to apply, the glue on one side of the strip melts using a pressing iron.

It grips and hardens in just a few minutes and now the excess can be removed.

First I break off the excess by bending it over a hard surface….

Then I clean the break using an abrasive sponge.

The result is very clean… and it needs to be repeated for all sides of all the boards.

All the parts are ready for mock up so I can assembly the table.

The legs will rotate using a hinge and they will fit in the notch I made on the table

top like this.

I'll use another hinge for bending the legs.

But all these hinges will take space, so I measure them and match their thickness with

a bunch of spacer that I can place between the frame and the table top so that in the

end the frame and the legs will be at the same hight.

Now I can screw in all the hinges, starting from the ones that allow the legs to bend

over...

And then the corner ones that allow them to rotate.

Here is the first test to see if everything is moving fine... and it does look like it

is.

Let's move on to the canvas and the molding.

The ladder I've ordered precut to size because the precision with witch professional can

cut the corners is hard to achieve at home.

But as you can see it still needs to cut at the bending point.

I also need to do a second cut at the bottom of the leg so to make it square while maintaining

the molding's corner look.

Once I've put together the frame as it should look in the end I mark the bending point onto

the molding and proceed with cutting it… very carefully!

The process is repeated for the bottom part of the leg.

This is the result, the molding moves with the leg and goes back in its place like if

it was one single piece.

To fix the leg in the two different positions I'm using a magnet placed right in the middle

of the short portion of the leg itself.

One of steel spacer is screwed in the corresponding position on the long leg to lock it in place

when it's bent…

And one is screwed onto the table top for the extended position.

This will make the locking and unlocking maneuvers fast and easy.

Here is our folding table slash painting and it's all ready to be printed on.

Before going to the Roland headquarters though I'd like to prepare the table top surface

for printing.

Painting the surface with a water based white lacquer will make the colors of the print

more accurate and vibrant.

And as a bonus, I get to check my painting skills…

Wonderful, I'm ready to go to the town of Aquaviva Picena and meet up with my friends

at the Roland headquarters where they'll help me give a unique touch to this build.

And while I load the car for the trip I'd like to remind you if you'd like to support

this series you can click the like button and subscribe to the channel to receive a

notification every time I upload a new video.

All right, let's go!

We are back at Roland to give an identity to the project of the table painting

we are going to use this Versa UV machine to print directly onto the fabric of the canvas

and create the painting side of this project.

so let's proceed and see how it goes

Here at Roland I find my friend Peppe always

ready to help me make my dreams come true.

He has prepared a piece of cloth onto which he'll print the contour of the print so

that we can position the canvas correctly.

The Roland VersaWorks Dual is the machine management software and in no time at all

we are ready to start the print job.

Pixel after pixel the Versa UV deposits the special toner onto the canvas and the UV lights

dry it in just a few seconds releasing into the air a very particular scent I now call

"Au de Roland"… pretty fancy right?

Ok, I might be a bit of a megalomaniac, but when am I gonna have another opportunity like

this one.

Plus I'm glad to keep a memento of such an important partnership.

What about you?

What would you print on your canvas?

Let us know by commenting the video or by posting on our facebook page where you'll

find the downloadable plans for this project.

Now it's time to print the table top.

I've decided to simulate the grain and the look of a more precious wood than the one

we are using and this is the right machine to do it.

The process is similat to the one we did for the canvas.

First we print the counture for a placement reference…

Then we place the board onto the printer bed.

The VersaUV printer cha actually print thickness and to do it it uses son special transparent

toner.

For this project we are printing with a thickness of about one millimeter and to do so the machine

needs to lay seven layers of ink.

It's hard to see it because it is transparent ink but you might be able to notice some lines

across the wood surface.

Once this process is done the printer begins to lay the actual print… and Peppe even

lets me use the controls… to reveal the masterpiece this machine has allowed us to

create.

The grain simulation is amazing at the touch, I guarantee you that it feels so real.

Now I can go back to my shop and finish the job.

I can wait to see the end result.

All the parts are ready for final assembly, the table top, the legs, the hinges, the molding

and the canvas.

The wood grain simulation come out amazing and I'm already thinking at all the incredible

thigs I can do with it, like a real life looking carbon fiber for example or even fabric.

But let's get to it, I immediately start by reattaching the legs to the table top.

Then it's time to place the canvas, but to do that I place back all the molting as

well to make sure the everything is in the right place.

To achieve the realistic look I'm going for everything must be place with extreme

accuracy.

When the painting is up I want it to look like a normal painting.

Once I'm sure it's all in the right place I start gluing the molding to the legs using

a hot glue gun.

This gun was very cheap and it's giving me exactly what I paid for.

Don't be cheap like me, get a decent one cause I've risked ruining the entire project

for just a few bucks.

On the other hand the glue stick where the best I could find and the grip is phenomenal.

One piece after another the frame molding finds its final destination around the painting…

hopefully I didn't jinks it…

I cross my fingers, concentrate a keep going!

The last piece needs to be glued only by the two extremities.

The center part, the one we cut at 45 degrees, needs to be free to allow enough space for

the molding to rotate with the legs.

Like this.

This is so increadibly cool, even after planning, designing, simulating with the 3d software

and revising everything many times, you can't be sure of the result until you actually build

it.

A bit of hot glue will secure the canvas to the table top.

Now I can istall the hinges that will secure the table to the wall.

I use a spare board and an anvil to help align the hinge.

I position it so it won't get in the way of our beloved logo.

The second hinge is installed as well.

Now I can install the steel spacer that, just like for legs, will stick to a magnet on the

wall to keep the painting up.

This project, along with all the projects I'll develop in this series, will be exposed

in the Imagination center in the Roland headquarters.

So to complete the video, I've set up a temporary wall to show you the final result.

A few screws will do for now.

One last detail, the magnet that will keep the painting up is screwed to the wall.

What a great journey this has been, I'm so happy with how it come out and I hope it

will inspire you to create something as unique for your own home.

Useless to say that this could have not been possible without Roland's amazing technologies

and his people's great know how, which make this a great company the best friend of all

creative people.

Glitter Face makeup | Marion Cameleon - Duration: 6:50.

This is the second day of my

Advent Calendar! So today is a very glittery look

I need glitters all over myself during holidays season

I was inspired by this picture I had pinned

years ago and I can't find

who is the artist so if you know please lmk

and I will credit her in the description box

I draw the shape of my glitter part

This step is useless because I was supposed

to do it after but... anyways you can watch it lol

I use this shade from the Cinema flash palette

from MUFE for my glitter part

I fill in the empty space with it

I use a lighter shade for my light points

I found it too dark so I added

some white flash color

I will put 2 shades of glitters

I apply first one shade

with a flat brush

then I add the second shade

I will use this palette for the whole makeup

and I start with the contour

I start my eyes with the same shade

I add a darker shade on the lash line

And I do the cut crease as well

I intensify with some black

I do my eyeliner with my favorite product

After applying some mascara I put Aquarius lashes from BMC

I use Purgatory lipstick from BMC as well to do my brows

I clean the contour of my glitter part

with a makeup wipe

that's why you don't have to do the foundation first

I add some spirit gum on the desired area

I apply some plaits wax

I roll it into my hands and put it on

top of the glued area

I flatten it so I can work it easier

Because it's sticky I add some cream on my fingers

so it's easier to work with

I hate to work this product but I try to do my best

This is not stable and make me go crazy

I do the same all around mu glitter shape

You can flatten with a spatula as well

don't forget to put some cream on it

And this is now that you have to do your foundation

I do my base as usual

with my powder, contour

highlight, blush...

everything

I do the base with Lydia pencil from OCC

I start by the lower lash line

I smudge

And the cut crease now

I use the BH cosmetics Modern matte palette again

and I start with my transition color that is a pale pink

And I darken it with a darker

purple shade

I do my lips with the lipstick I use for my brows

so it's Purgatory from BMC

I put a wig from Everyday Wigs

I love the color!

I need my actual hair to look like that

Thank you for watching!

I hope you enjoyed it!

See you tomorrow

RNG in Fire Emblem - Is It Fair? - Duration: 3:50.

Indoor games are build on randomness.

From cards to craps, these games are built around the concept of chance.

But is that dying out?

Should games still have elements of chance in them?

Should random crits be removed from video games entirely?

Well, no.

I was always someone who thought randomness is never a good thing in video games.

As video games transition to resembling real life sports, the question of what makes a

game fair has been up in the air in recent years.

Why did the enemy soldier have to kill everyone because of one critical rocket?

How is that fair?

People generally agree that it isn't fair.

And that's why fewer and fewer games are having elements that can give you an advantage

with the roll of a dice… or random generation of a number.

If your high school algebra class didn't beat it into you head enough, variables are

kind of a bad thing.

And that makes sense, if one player on a team just accidentally does three times as much

damage with a shot, how is that fair?

People get pissed off over random accidental victories, especially in more serious game

settings.

That's the reason people love playing Smash Bros. competitively, but people aren't very

excited to spectate competitive Mario Party.

Mario Party is all about luck, and people don't find that a very interesting competition

of skill.

Going hand-in-hand with a lot of the elitism in the fandom, there is a lot of talk about

how Fire Emblem is a very skill based strategy series.

But how can that be the case?

A video game that relies heavily on random values can never be something that you can

get good at, or can it?

Fire Emblem is the kind of game that challenges this notion.

People talk about it like it's the zenith of tactical nuance in video games.

But how?

How can a game with critical hits and accuracy rates be strategic?

Well, the answer is actually quite complicated.

The thing about Fire Emblem is that you rarely know what's going to happen every turn.

You could miss, the enemy could get a critical hit and kill one of your units, and you can't

do anything to change that.

But there's one thing that makes it different.

When you provoke a unit, you'll be given a bunch of information.

Stuff like damage numbers, hit rates, and critical rates and in some games more.

Will you get a hit or will it miss?

You don't know.

But you know your chances; and that's important.

And this is what makes things interesting.

If Fire Emblem was a game where every attack hit and there were no critical hits, it wouldn't

be very fun.

And that's something that is really weird when you think about it.

People often talk about how shitty random critical hits are in Team Fortress 2; and

they're right.

But what makes it different in Fire Emblem?

Well, the big thing is that Fire Emblem is not a game where you can dominate with mechanical

skill.

Fire Emblem is not a game you can get "skilled at".

You can be good at Fire Emblem and be used to playing it.

But you don't need aim or positioning or anything like that.

A game where you have no mechanical obligations is pretty boring to watch.

At least, without any surprises.

What Fire Emblem does to make things interesting is adding an RNG.

Sometimes, you'll get a critical hit.

Other times, you'll miss an attack.

And this is where Fire Emblem's RNG finds its purpose.

Adding an RNG into any video game is always risky business; when the RNG makes you lose

it's hard to feel like it was your own fault.

But I like to think that Fire Emblem did it right, because you know what risks you're

taking when you approach that annoying ass myrmidon with a killer edge.

Fire Emblem gives you the numbers and makes sure you know what you're getting into when

you provoke an enemy.

And that's actually quite a good thing.

It makes the "skill" of the game about having a strategy for all the possible scenarios

that could happen.

It transitions to how good you are in combat to how adaptive you are.

And adaptability is arguably more useful than raw power.

It's definitely unique and it challenges what is "fair" in games, but I like to

think that Fire Emblem innovates what we consider to be skill in video games.

Although sometimes the RNG works against you in an unfair way, I think it's essential

to the Fire Emblem series and things wouldn't be the same without it.

So yeah, it's impressive if you beat the games on hard mode.

Sometimes you may have won because you got a critical hit, but that could have worked

against you.

What do you think?

Does Fire Emblem need its RNG?

Or does it make things unfair?

Feel free to leave your take on things in the comment section below, it's always appreciated.

10 Creepiest Monsters in Horror Films - Duration: 11:57.

10 More Creepy Monsters in Film

Hey guys, Culture here.

Today we're going to talk about 10 more creepy monsters in film.

More specifically, we'll look at what makes them creepy and the movie worlds they inhabit.

I just want to say up front that Culture does not wet the bed.

I… what?

Of course I don't, no one said I did.

Exactly, and that's the official stance that we, the united front of CultureCrash,

are putting forward.

Yes, because it's the truth Crash

Preaching to the converted buddy.

Anyway, let's get into this.

Number 1: The Host or Gwoemul (2006) South Korea is known for its ability to create

memorable horror films such as Momento Mori and Train to Busan.

In Joon-ho Bong's Gwoemul (The Host), released in 2006, a medical examiner dumps an unusually

large amount of old formaldehyde into the Han river.

What emerges next is a giant, creepy mutated fish monster with bulbous eyes, a flower-petal

shaped mouth… …and some sweet backflipping skills.

The fish mutant creature snatches people up with its prehensile tail while swallowing

another victim whole to eventually be regurgitated later for a midnight snack.

One particularly gruesome scene shows the monster vomiting what appears to be hundreds

upon hundreds of human bones atop it's already growing pile of living and dead humans.

I've always been an advocate for the environment and this just shows how pollution can lead

not only to dangerous water supplies but also mutant creatures that eat people.

Global warming is real folks.

Save the polar bears and whales and raccoons and-

Number 2: Ghoulies II (1988) Not every horror film needs a realistic or

even scary monster.

That's where Ghoulies II comes into play.

The Toilet Ghoulie is a horrible little creature that lurks within one of the most sacred places

known to man: the privy.

Or jacks; porcelain throne, loo, lavatory…

Whatever you want to call the toilet, this little creepy goblinoid waits until you're

most vulnerable before literally "ripping you a new one."

A new what?

Ohhhhh a new anus, you mean anus, I get it now.

HE MEANT ANUS EVERYONE.

Crash stop screaming about anus…

I wish this was the first time I'd said that.

The Toilet Ghoulie is so creepy that it makes you look twice before getting down to business

in the middle of the night… oh jeez, that came out wrong as well.

Let's move on.

Number 3: The Taking of Deborah Logan (2014) While there are undeniably a large array of

monsters in film and other forms of entertainment, it's hard to deny one of the most horrific:

ourselves.

Humans are capable of incredibly odious things like, you know, creating creepy, scary monsters;

however, nothing is more terrifying than the decay of a human mind.

In The Taking of Deborah Logan (2014), a psychologist and her film team spend several months with

a woman suffering from nearly debilitating Alzheimer's, documenting the impact of the

disease not only on the patient but on the family as well.

As the story progresses and Deborah Logan's mind deteriorates, her bizarre behavior begins

leaving the realm of psychological and becomes well… something only Crash could think up.

I'll take that as a compliment.

I've seen the ending and it is a doozy.

The Taking of Deborah Logan makes this list due its frighteningly personal and compelling

tale of a very real, very terrifying disease that could happen to anyone.

There's just enough realistic gore and a dash of otherworldly possession that makes

sweet, little old Deborah one of the creepiest monsters in modern film.

Number 4: Stranger Things (2016) As with our last monster list, this next creature

isn't in a film but it certainly warrants a mention for being a creepy monster.

In case you haven't already heard enough about the show, Stranger Things is set in

a small town in the 1980s.

The town is flipped upside down after a group of boys playing Dungeons and Dragons find

themselves caught up in the mystery of finding their friend after his strange disappearance.

Enter the Demogorgon of Stranger Things: a humanoid, flappy-mouthed, viscous-coated predator

with no actual face, dozens of teeth, and sharp claws on every appendage.

Sounds like my step mother, am I right people?

Ha… ha… oh no, I've become an old comedian from the 80's.

They'll never let me do stand-up at universities again!

Sensitive to the scent of human blood, this hunter from down under not only consumes its

prey after dragging them into its cold, dark, damp dimension, it also implants… well…

it doesn't seem pleasant.

Number 5: Basket Case (1982) The 1982 cult classic horror-comedy, Basket

Case, deserves a mention on this list.

The movie is known for it's rather dramatic death scenes and senseless gore, but the star

of the film is the man that lives in a basket.

Belial Bradley is the deformed remains of his normal looking conjoined, twin brother,

Duane.

Forcefully separated at an early age, Belial is filled with rage and envy and the two brothers

plot out their means to exact revenge on the doctors that performed their procedure.

Carried around in a woven basket, Belial is released and allowed to violently carry out

his desires despite being a small lump of flesh and bones.

His appearance is abhorrent, with stubby arms protruding from the sack of flesh that are

strong enough to hold a person down or, as in the film, shove their face into a drawer

of sharp medical equipment.

His razor sharp, pointed teeth are capable of biting off chunks of skin, muscle, and

sinew from his enemies, and, with peculiar grace, he is able to leap from his basket

onto his victims, taking them by surprise.

Peculiar grace is the name of my autobiography by the way.

Despite Belial's lack of human form and function, this is one creepy monster that

will be remembered for his over-the-top violence and smile.

Number 6: The Babadook (2014) In horror films, books are often depicted

as gateways for otherworldly creatures to enter our own, most often through witchcraft.

However, the origins of The Babadook are unknown which is just one reason why this creepy creature

makes our list.

After a mysterious pop-up book manifests in the household of a widow, she reads the story

to her troubled child and strange things begin to happen.

"If its in a word or its in a look, you can't get rid of the Babadook."

So creepy, I love this film.

It very much borrows from my own strategy for seducing women.

Ergh.

Donning a top hat, black eyes, and a large toothy grin, the well-dressed phantom is capable

of possessing its victims and forcing them to carry out murderous tasks for its own deranged

pleasure.

He lurks around every corner of your home and invades your dreams, turning them into

realistic nightmares of horror.

The more you think of him, the more power The Babadook gains power until he's able

to possess your body and uses you to carry out murderous acts.

The sinister undertones of the Babadook's representation of the family's attitude

towards their deceased husband and father makes psychological effect even more devastating.

Number 7: The Descent (2006) There are tons of creepy things to be found

in unexplored caves, but the Crawlers from the 2006 UK film The Descent would make anyone

consider staying indoors to explore a Minecraft cave instead.

The Descent follows the adventure of a group of spelunkers who inevitably get lost deep

in the caves of the Appalachian Mountains.

After a cave-in, the explorers search for a way out only to realize they are slowly

being hunted by a group of subterranean beings.

Much like deciding to start a YouTube channel, realizing you've trapped yourselves then

being hunted by trolls.

Not that we have any personal experience in this…

These creatures are perfectly adept for surviving in this pitch black, rocky environment.

Not only are the crawlers blind, but they rely heavily on sound and scent to stalk their

prey in the dark.

Their flesh is void of the usual pigments of humans, but their bodies are a striking

reflection of our own.

With pointed ears, elongated, rodent-like incisors, and mutated, vampiric facial features,

these crawlers will send you scrambling for the nearest Escape Rope.

Really?

A Pokémon reference?

I thought you were better than that Culture.

Number 8: Cloverfield (2008) Not all creepy monsters need to be small.

Kaiju films pump out some of the most memorable creepy monsters that are larger than life;

which is why the humongous creature from Cloverfield makes this list.

The Cloverfield monster, named "Clover", rages through the streets of New York City.

Clover stands roughly 90 meters tall and 365 meters long with its incredibly long, slender

double-jointed limbs with clawed, pronged feet.

Its tremendously large, fanged mouth is strong enough to chomp a human in half.

This is "Creepy monsters" Culture, not "Kaijus".

Gotta work harder than that.

Okay, okay, so these qualities of a typical Kaiju monster don't really make her that

creepy.

But what about the hundreds deep-sea parasites that cover Clover's body?

These human-sized parasites are exactly what nightmares are made of.

A horrific cross between a crab, a spider, and a cockroach, these nasties possess a far

greater threat than Clover herself.

One bite from these parasites is enough to cause bleeding from the eyes, vomiting, and…

abdominal rupture.

Victims of the parasite's bite meet their bloody, violent, explosive ends in a matter

of minutes.

Number 9: Attack on Titan (2015) Anime is an incredible medium for bringing

creepy, monstrous creatures to life.

In 2015, the hit show Attack on Titan escaped its paper constraints and burst onto the silver

screen.

The show features the story of a few young heroes in the military fending off a seemingly

endless fleet of undying, indestructible humanoid creatures called "Titans."

These Titans vary in size from 10 foot tall to skyscraper size.

They're eyes are constantly wide with a creepy, permanent grin stretching across their

giant face from ear to ear as they pluck up victims effortlessly, tearing them in half

in a single bite.

There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason for their existence other than to destroy

the human race.

Swords, bullets, even fire can't seem to take out the behemoth beings with regenerative

powers, that is, unless you're a specially trained dual-blade wielding soldier using

steampunk technology to zipline around buildings to carve out a very small, very precise section

of the neck.

Aside from the naked, private-less bodies and constant grinning, the Titans don't

seem to care whether or not the humans die and have no real need or purpose in killing

them.

That fact alone is enough to make them creepy.

Number 10: V/H/S/2 (2013) While "found footage" film isn't always

well executed, V/H/S/2 leaves us with our final creepy monster.

One of the more memorable sequences from the film involves a group of kids, a slumber party,

and a camera strapped onto a dog.

Throughout the broken recorded footage, the viewer watches horrors unfolding around group

of friends as one by one they're abducted by aliens.

These alien figures are your typical creepy greys; tall, lanky, big black eyes…

But what earns them a spot on this list is their calculated methods of ruthless, brute

abduction and the absolutely petrifying sounds they make.

Not even Crash makes these sounds at night whilst screaming at his computer because he

keeps losing at pubg.

No, I'm WINNING.

Those sounds are my victory squeals.

And they sound like this: WHEW!

"Victory squeals"?

Do you even hear yourself sometimes?

After watching this film, you'll find yourself triggered by the sound of a train horn in

the middle of the night.

And that's it for today, if you guys have any other creepy monsters that left an impression

on you let us know in the comments down below!

And stop spreading rumours that Culture wets the bed because it's just not funny anymore

guys, come on!

Crash if you keep saying that then I'll become your worst nightmare.

You heard it here first folks, Culture verbally abusing me.

Oh how the mighty have fallen...

...See you next week!

Wishing you happy travels and until next time!

Hope, this information, is helpful. Thank you, for watching Fawzi academy, Please, like,
