Uche Maduagwu is back with his controversial post and this time its aimed at Tonto Dikeh.

The actor, took to Instagram to share a photo of Rosaline Meurer praising her as the ultimate wife material and slamming Tonto in the process.

According to him, Tonto, who has since moved closer to god judging by her posts on social media did so for just social media.

Recall Tonto during her very public split from ex Olakunle Churchill, fingered Rosaline as the woman her husband was cheating on her with, an accusation that somewhat gave the spurred the actress into the limelight.

[Music]

Having read this Gospel agai and again, it dawned on me

this conversation of Mary with an angel on one side is such a conversation in which a lot is happening,

there are a lot of different topics to be spoken on for hours.

About this subtle dance, which takes place between incoming Lord and this wonderful woman,

invited to the dance.

You can continuously contemplate the dance of the grace and freedom.

On the other hand, it is a blunt story, plain and clear, which could sum up the whole story,

to a simple question, "Are you in?" and she says," Yes, I do".

There is something about that when God comes to us, on the one hand it is a very mysterious and subtle,

and there are many different things going on but it comes down to a simple question," "Are you in?

Do you want to follow me? Are you taking your decision now? Or not?"

This is very sobering to think about the today's scene and our relationship with God in such a way.

YYPLAY JetBlack Unboxing Review Flight Camera Test And Final Thoughts (Courtesy RCMoment) - Duration: 7:58.

What's up guys a-flying tech here and today, we're gonna be checking out the jet black buy, YY play, so let's get right into it

Alright guys as you can see this is everything that comes in the box

Let's start with the quad itself the quad is a your typical folding quad

So you know it's a little bit on the heavy side

It's not very heavy

But it definitely is a little bit on the heavier side it's also pretty big for a folding selfie quad

I have to say here's the jet black

Here's the a shinny 5/8 you can see the size difference on both of them obviously the jet black is much bigger

About one and a half times the size

I'd say I believe it or not to fold out the arms on this guy's a little weird a little unique feel has pulled out

the front arms first like so

Unfolding the back legs is a little bit on the strange side so when you go to

Unfold them make sure you know how to do it because if you pull a little too hard one way or the other

you may wind up snapping an arm or cracking and stressing if you don't want to do that what you do is you take the

Leg like so fold it up to the side

And then foam it'll lock into place gonna do that again go up to the side?

Boom locks right into place and there you go once again

Here's a comparison between the jet black and the eastern 5/8 you can definitely see the size difference on both

Now to fold down the legs is a little bit tricky as well the way you're gonna do that is there's a tab right here?

You want to push up and it'll release the leg you can fold it back down and there it goes

Let's do that again press the button to release the leg pull it down over and there you go

and then these just fold back up like so and

There you have it

There is a power button right on top to turn the quad on

This does have altitude hold as I know some of you guys like I am NOT partial to it

But some people do your cam on this guy is a 720p camera it does move up and down

But it is a manual thing you cannot do it from the controller here

You'll see the antenna for the Wi-Fi which runs along the battery door now this does also come with an SD card reader built

Right into the Wi-Fi camera. You just simply pop in your SD card. You're good to go to get the SD card in however

You're gonna have to remove the Wi-Fi antenna, but that's simple enough it

Just pops right back on to take the battery in and out you just turn the tab to the right open up the door which

Will expose your battery battery comes right out?

Similarly to put it back in you just pop it in and plug it in pose the door lock it and you're good to go

The battery the battery is a three point seven volt 900 mAh battery charge time

You're looking at probably over an hour. I would say run time

You'll get about five to seven minutes if you're not recording video if you are

You could probably shave a couple minutes off of that along with this kit

You're gonna get a set of prop guards

Which I think is fantastic?

For someone who is just starting out next up you got a bag of parts in the bag you get a spare set of blades

our USB charger a screwdriver some screws to put on the prop guards and the thumb sticks for the TX

Speaking of the TX you do have to put the sticks on they don't come from the factory that way

I'm not sure why but you have to put them on yourself, so let's go ahead and do that

Alright, we've got both sticks in as you can see you do have to press a little firmly to get these in place snugly

But don't worry about it. I press pretty hard and nothing broke. So you'll be ok the TX takes four triple-a batteries

you got the phone holder here that pulls out of the TX so that you can put your phone mount your phone in here if

You're gonna. Do you know Wi-Fi flying through the phone these buttons here are for trim these buttons right here are for video

Taking pictures your rate speeds and return to home this button here is for your one key

Takeoff and landing this button here is for power this button right here is for the lights

You can turn the lights on and off on the quad and this button here is for headless mode

Believe it or not this quad does not have 360 flips

It is just a camera burg that is it now the instructions are pretty good about telling you how to use the phone with this

Particular model I don't enjoy flying that way

So we're not gonna test that but if you do want to the instructions tell you how to do it right here alright guys

That's pretty much it now. You know the day, let's take her in the field to test her out

See how she does so I'll meet you there

All right guys we got it autumn gonna head in Barnegat alright to calibrate the quad you're gonna press in on bolt sticks

Just like that

And now it's calibrated. Let's take it for a flight alright. We're gonna do the 1 Q takeoff, so let's go ahead and do it

So this is the yacht in low-rate

Put it in Irish now

Pretty stable even though it's a little windy. There's beyond high rate

Try some funnels with it yeah, it's not the most 50 bird. It's definitely gonna be more of a camera bird than anything

You can see that y'all is pretty small

Not really the best in the wind either

As you can see I could turn the lights on and off by hitting the button on the controller if you so desire

Alright, let's try the one peel and here we go

There you go

So my final thoughts on this quad are that it's a nice quad definitely is there's no question about it

It's very rugged very sturdy

it's definitely a stable flyer however the

Range on it isn't the best you looking at maybe 60 to 100 feet at most

You can't fly this in the wind whatsoever any kind of wind is definitely gonna take this bird from your hands

You do get about five minutes of flight time if you're not recording. Maybe a little bit more than that alright guys

That's pretty much it for me. Hope you enjoyed if you did, please leave a thumbs up leave all comments below

We'd love to get your comments. If you're new to the channel please subscribe and with that guys as always happy flying

You

Debate with a Santa Fundamentalist: Ridiculous Reasoning Ep1 - Duration: 7:50.

Hello, my name is Stephen Woodford, and with me today is Dr. Billy Craig Lane, High Priestess

of the Santa-Day Saints.

Thank you for being here.

Thank you for having me on Steve - the pleasure's all mine, and please, call me Dr. Your-Grace.

I'm…

I'm not going to do that…

Anyhow, I understand that you're not a particular fan of my work?

And that you want to set me straight on a couple of things?

Which will make-- Well, actually, I'm a huge fan of your work, in the sense that I

believe that you're right about every other religion but my religion, Santaism.

And I must say that I'm particularly impressed with how you've dealt with Christianity,

who actually assert that there's a bearded man in the sky that loves them…

hahaha.

But… you believe there's a bearded man in the sky that loves you…

Yes, but only one night of the year… and he wears red!

Big differences, that you would be aware of if you'd only studied the advent calender

and the gospel of our hymns.

Sigh… okay, so let's just get straight to business…

Do you have any proof that Santa exists – any evidence?

Well Steve, do you have any proof that Santa doesn't exist?

That's not how the nature of proof works – you're the one making an assertion and

so you have the Burden of Proof – the onus is on you.

It's not up to me to prove the non-existence of fairies, gods, or-- I'll take that as

a 'no'. *raised eyebrow*.

Well despite you not being able to prove that Santa doesn't exist, I can prove that he

does exist.

Just look around you Steve, look at the trees, listen to the birds, dance with the reindeers

– everything testifies to his existence.

Uhm, how?

You asantaists really are blind, aren't you?

Only Santa could've bestowed such 'gifts'!

Ah… okay, I've got the feeling that you're committing a Circular Reasoning fallacy here…

and so I have to ask, how're you defining the word 'gift', and how have you concluded

that trees, birds and reindeers are 'gifts'?

Well, according to the impartial authority, Santaisreal.com, a 'gift' is a 'A thing

given willingly to someone without payment; a present… from Santa', and it is scientifically

proven that birds, trees and reindeers are gifts because in the thirteenth century Father

Aqua conducted a peer-reviewed study in which he looked at them…

There's so much wrong with what you just said.

First of, you are committing a Circular Reasoning fallacy because like a Christian who asserts

that 'The bible is the word of god because god tells us it is… through the bible',

you're asserting that 'Trees are a gift from Santa because Santa tells us they are…

through trees.'

And secondly-- Seriously Steve, how can you not look into a new-born baby boy's eyes

and not recognise that he is a gift that only true greatness can bestow?

How could you be so blind?

Okay… babies can be seen as a gift (depending on how you define the word 'gift'), but

we know that they don't come from Santa-- Ah!

Santa works in mysterious ways, my boy.

Mysterious, that is his way.

My boy?

I'm actually older than you…

That's just a theory.

Oh come on Billy…

Now now Steve, you're being a typical asantaist – closed-minded and fundamental.

Now since you like syllomcgisms so much-- Do you mean syllogisms?

Yeah, soliloquy.

I've got one that'll knock your stockings of the wall – and I've written it down

so that even your unenlightened sheeple subscribers can understand.

Premise one – gifts can only come from Santa.

Billy, that's upside down.

No it's not!

Premise two – gifts exists.

Premise three – Santa exists.

I think you'll find that's checkmate – King me!

Billy, that's an incredibly fallacious argument!

Thank you.

To put it simply, you're committing an Equivocation Fallacy with the word 'gift', because

during premise one you're using the definition 'A thing given willingly to someone without

payment; a present… from Santa', but during premise two you're using the definition

'A thing given willingly to someone without payment; a present', and so your conclusion

is invalid.

Plus, if you just replace the word 'Santa' with anything else, such as 'fairies',

then the argument works… or fails, all the same.

No!

Because Santa is not a fairy!

… Billy, are you not listening to anything I'm saying?

Let me ask you Steve, why is there some gifts rather than no gifts?

Where did the first gift come from?

Why did the evolution big bang all over the thermodynamics?

That's right – you don't know!

So for Santa's sake be humble, and for once in your life claim to know the answer to these

questions!

Give in to the gift within!

I care about you.

I want you to have presents!

All you've just done is present variants of the Santa of the Gaps argument… they're

all Arguments from Ignorance or Personal Incredulity Fallacies.

What you've essentially said is 'We don't know, therefore Santa' – it's ludicrous!

I want you to have presents, why can't you understand that?

I've got another question…

No, stay on track…

I've got another question… does all of this hatred and hilterism come from you not

getting the present you wanted when you were young?

Is that why you're so angry with Santa?

I'm not angry with Santa, Billy…

I can't be angry at someone I don't believe in.

Well you seem pretty angry right now Steve – you seem to be missing the gift within…

maybe that's why you won't refer to me as Dr. Your-Grace.

Sighs, so we're obviously not getting anywhere with philosophy and logic, and so maybe you

have something more tangible?

Do you have any physical evidence?

I do indeed, and as it happens, I've brought it in with me.

First, here's an undeniable photo of Santa's existence, and here-- Woa, woa, woa…

This is literally a coca-cola advert… you know that, surely?

That's what the government wants you to think.

And here's a GPS of where Santa is right now!

He's being tracked by the NORAD Steve – he's tracked!

King me!

Billy, NORAD isn't serious… it's just a bit of fun.

You're unbelievable Steve… are you really going to go against our founding fathers and

the constitution?

They believed in-- Billy, Billy, Billy!

What the hell?

We're not American…

We're all one race, Steve, this is what you asantaists don't seem to understand.

We're all one gift – it's written on our livers!

Okay… this debate has been… enthralling… but I think it's about time we wrap it up.

I agree – as much as I've enjoyed educating you, I've got to get going… yeah, well

erh, thanks for the debate, take care, and happy holidays Billy.

How dare you!

First you refuse to call me Dr. Your Grace, then you can't prove that Santa doesn't

exist, and now you have the audacity to say the double H term?

You, Sir, are utterly giftless.

… wha?

I don't know the way out… where's your chimney?

Seriously Billy… are you not listening to anything I'm… haha.

Sorry, ready?

Ready?

We're good?

Yeah.

Seriously Billy, are you not listening to anything… hahahahaha!

"YOU'RE THE ONE" - Duration: 6:50.

Nothing else?

He believes I'm the one

and wants to be together with me.

From now on,

Who is it?

You've said that you don't want to see me anymore

I don't want to see you anymore.

If I move my hand, you'll see me.

I'll try to control myself!

You drive me crazy!

I'm taking action to change my image in your mind

and to win your heart.

Ah Zhai..

I'm not messing. I'm protecting you.

Why? Aren't I enough?

You've ruined my life.

I am not teasing you

Don't worry.

There will be a Doraemon for everyone.

Talk to him when you're sad

He'll give you strength and courage.

I've never been comforted.

My parents passed away when I was at your age.

Please regard me as Doraemon that will never leave Nobita.

Okay?

I'm not messing. I'm protecting you.

Stay there and cool down.

Are you protecting me?

Apology accepted?

No.

I've never blamed you.

There's no need to apologize.

Do you know that? I was an orphan.

I grew up with my Grandpa.

After his death, I've been alone until now.

Then, I gradually got used to being alone.

No matter how many times I open my eyes

why are you always the first person in my sight?

Stop flirting with me

I won't do anything that will make you uncomfortable

In the past I tried my best to look after and protect you.

I will protect you from now on.

But now, I don't want to.

Never say sorry to me.

If you say sorry to me,

it means you did want to abandon me.

You don't like me in our relationship.

I don't want you to dislike me.

So I give up.

Watch out!

If I didn't come, you'll die.

Shut up.

Shut up?

You detested me and considered me as trash from the beginning.

I told you to shut up!

Am I a fly on the wheel?

Am I arrogant?

All my changes are because of you.

Have I ever done anything against your command or will since I've bound you?

Even if you abandoned me..

You wretched me away from seeing you

And I did all of that!

Those are not what I want.

Well, then who wanted it?

I'm sorry I scolded you. But I'm not mad at you.

I didn't mean that you've troubled me.

Just..you took a risk for me in spite of your own safety.

It made me feel worried.

I'm sorry, it's my fault.

You are trapped here because of me.

Ah Zhai

How do you feel?

You're eventually willing to talk to me

No longer ignore me?

I won't let you die here.

In fact, I should have gone back to you earlier.

Are you alright too?

I'm sorry.

I can't stay with you any longer.

Adam won't die.

Adam won't hurt me!

We're trying to protect you!

Adam, please don't go. Let's go now.

Let's go

Are you okay? This is your house.

Why would I open a restaurant?

I am a cook?

Ah Zhai doesn't remember you. You've never been here.

He does not have any pain. Nothing has happened.

He is back to his previous life.

What do you want to do?

To say goodbye to Ah Zhai.

Come in, have a seat.

What if I hire you to cook for me?

You can live here.

Let's share a room.

Shut up!

Sorry, but we're leaving here.

You're quite familiar with the menu.

Thank you so much

It's going to rain, take an umbrella.

Goodbye.

Ah Zhai, we've known each other for 84 days by now.

I haven't done my duty of being your lover.

I will be with you to guard you forever.

If he disappeared from this world

What should I do?

They also brought me many surprises and happiness

which are my lasting memories.

Maybe we can be together next life.

A Gay Man's Legacy Inspires An Ally To Do More. - Duration: 6:48.

I'm Jean-Claire Fitschen.

I'm from Chicago, Illinois.

When I was a baby, I had a mommy and a daddy and a Bernie.

Bernie met my parents at the University of Chicago when they were in graduate school.

He was studying history of religion.

He was a theologian and he was a passionate Episcopalian who lived with us while he was

working on his PhD and his doctorate, doctoral thesis, which I hear took forever.

When I was little, when I was 4 or 5 years old, I went to people's houses, visiting,

and I would say "Where's your Bernie?" because I thought everybody had a Bernie.

And as I got older and I was in high school and then in college, I got to know my Bernie

as a more fully-formed person - not just someone who loved me and took care of me but someone

who I, in turn, cared about and loved.

When I finished college and I was living on my own, I ran into Bernie just on accident

in our neighborhood - we lived near each other - and he introduced me to a friend, who, he

said, well, "This is Joe."

And it was at that point I realized that he had relationships that couldn't be talked

about or weren't talked about, that weren't acknowledged.

I realized at that moment that he was living his life in the closet, although I probably

didn't even have those words.

I felt shame at that moment because he was introducing me to someone who was really important

to him, but it wasn't introduced in that way.

When I was older and I was pregnant with my own child, the really unthinkable thing happened

and that was that Bernie passed away.

It was really sudden and he was really young - he was 63.

He had just retired from an incredible career as a teacher.

I was both grief stricken and I was also in the process of helping to plan his memorial.

Friends and family came together and asked me to create a memorial-like booklet that

would honor his life, that would be a collection of stories from his friends and family and

former students.

I was looking at all of the stories.

I was six months pregnant with my daughter and it was the summer time in Chicago, which

is very hot and humid.

I remember sitting on the floor in my living room with all of these stories all over the

floor, in paper, in handwritten scrawls, and in printed-out emails.

I sat there and I remember thinking a whole range of emotions including frustration and

shame because what was apparent to me is that there were huge pieces of his life missing

that were not reflected in these stories.

There was just the most incredible outpouring of love and memories of a life that was so

incredible, and there were no stories about who his loves were.

Something just clicked or changed in me that this was not right.

I called someone that I knew was a long-time partner of Bernie's and I asked him to contribute

stories to fill in the gaps of Bernie's life.

Of course, he was thrilled to be asked to share all of these stories.

So, I collected stories from him that sort of filled in those holes.

I asked him if he would please come to the memorial and could I bring him as a guest

of honor.

So I got in the car with my belly out to here and I drove to his apartment and I brought

him to the service.

I sat him down with my family and Bernie's extended family in a seat of honor that I

felt appropriate and something that Bernie would have really appreciated but, more importantly,

honored the people that loved Bernie and Bernie loved.

That memorial changed me because I promised to myself that I would connect how I feel

and think to what I say and what actions I take.

And that shows up as not just going to a pride parade to enjoy the spectacle, but actually

walking in the parade with my friends and family and coworkers.

It shows up as of putting up a pride flag in my office - a very simple thing that sends

a very specific message to my coworkers that this is a safe place to be out and to be supported

and celebrated for all the ways in which we should as individuals.

Those are just some ways in which I try to walk in this world differently since Bernie's

passing and sort of be the person I want to be because of him.

I was pregnant when Bernie passed and my husband and I had a bunch of names, you know, on a

list.

When Bernie passed, Mark just turned to me and said, "Well, of course her name is Bernadine."

That meant a lot to me and, you know, I think she has a great name because that name comes

with a great legacy of someone who put so much good in this world and passed it on to

her.

Phrasal Verbs & Idioms with WRAP 🎁 Learn English Vocabulary & Expressions - Duration: 8:43.

Hello! I'm Emma from mmmEnglish!

Since it's very close to Christmas and I'm wrapping

lots of presents,

this lesson is going to be full of expressions

using the word, 'wrap'.

Now some of these expressions will be phrasal verbs

like 'wrap up'.

Others will be idioms like

let's keep this 'under wraps'.

One thing that they all have in common

is that you'll hear them come up in conversation

all the time!

So, this word has a cheeky silent letter in it.

So if you find it difficult to pronounce,

it might be because you're making a sound where

there doesn't need to be one.

'Wrap' and 'rap'

are pronounced in exactly the same way.

The W is silent.

Because the 'rrrrrrrr' sound is at the start of the word,

it's strong.

To make that sound my tongue is pulling

back in my mouth and up a little bit in the middle.

The tip of my tongue is not touching anything

and both sides of my tongue are

softly pushing against my upper teeth.

Wrap.

Wrap.

Now the past tense of wrap is wrapped

and it's a regular past tense verb so we simply add -ed

but the pronunciation of that -ed is more like a

/t/ sound.

Wrapped.

Not rapid.

That's a completely different word.

It's an adjective that means fast or sudden.

Wrapped is also an adjective to describe

when something is covered.

This present is wrapped.

These ones are not.

Here in Australia we also use wrapped to

describe a person's feelings when they're

extremely excited or happy about something.

It's quite informal, it's a slang word

but very useful if you're speaking with Australians.

It's usually spelled r-a-p-t.

He'll be rapt to hear the news.

My mum was rapt to hear

that I'll be in Melbourne for Christmas.

Now there's a very common phrasal verb

that you've probably heard or seen before.

'Wrap up'

Now firstly, this phrasal verb 'wrap up'

has the same meaning as 'wrap',

the verb which means to cover something

usually with paper or with a thin material.

I need to wrap these presents.

Or I need to wrap up these presents.

You can use either.

They have the same meaning.

Can you wrap up this cheese

and put it in the fridge for me?

You can also wrap someone up in clothes or blankets

usually to protect them like a baby or a child.

It's cold outside. Keep him wrapped up nice and tight.

In all of these examples the phrasal verb is transitive.

We need to explain what we're wrapping up.

But 'wrap up' has another meaning.

To 'wrap something up' also means to

end it or to finish it.

We'd better wrap this up. It looks like it's about to rain.

I'm so glad we've wrapped up our assignment.

Now we can just enjoy the weekend!

Have you wrapped up that project yet,

or are you still working on it?

Okay here's another phrasal verb

'wrap around' or 'wrap round'.

And the meaning is quite literal

it means to put something around something else.

You do need to notice that when using this phrasal verb

you need to be clear what is being wrapped around what

She's over there with the purple towel

wrapped around her.

The purple towel is wrapped around her.

He has a tattoo wrapped around his left arm.

It's a beautiful painting.

I love how her arm is wrapped around his waist.

Each of the little cupcakes had a bow wrapped

around it. It was so sweet.

This one is one of my favourites!

It's similar to have

someone wrapped around one's finger

or

one's little finger.

This idiom means to have

complete control over someone.

It's a little mischievous

because if you have someone

wrapped around your finger, you can manipulate them

or make them do what you want.

My friend's daughter has her dad

wrapped around her little finger.

She can do whatever she likes and whatever wants.

She will never get in trouble.

He buys her anything that she asks for.

She's got him wrapped around her finger.

Once you've got him wrapped around your finger,

ask him to fly you to Paris on his next business trip!

To keep something under wraps.

This expression is used to say that something

is concealed or being kept a secret.

We've got some really exciting news, but we're trying to

keep it under wraps until my mom gets here on Friday!

The government failed to keep the news under wraps.

Let's try and keep it under wraps until the weekend.

And that's a wrap!

Or it's a wrap!

Remember earlier that I mentioned the phrasal verb

'wrap up' can also mean to finish?

Well this expression is similar

it's used to announce the end of something.

It's usually said right at the moment

that an activity is finished, to say

that something has been successfully completed.

Okay everyone! That's a wrap! Great work!

It's often used at the end on film sets

or at the end of filming.

And that's a wrap!

Well, not quiet,

but that's all of the expressions

that I wanted to share with you

using the word 'wrap'.

Did you know many of them?

I hope that you've got a few new ones

to practise with this week

while you're wrapping your Christmas presents or

wrapping people around your fingers.

Wrap Up #238-240 [CC] - Duration: 3:27.

Hey, BookTube, it's Sylwia.

I have a lot of updates about my channel in my previous video so please check that out.

If you don't even wanna go through the wrap-up, you can skip around,

but I update you a lot in the very beginning of the video and then I update you a little

bit more at the very end.

So, hey BookTube, it's Sylwia.

I'm going to use my one opt-out for the year I will not review Homegoing.

I have read it in its entirety and I encourage you to just watch other reviewers videos on

the book.

It is a very popular book and I especially encourage you to watch the reviews or reviewers

of color.

I am going to very quickly review You by Caroline Kepnes.

Did it have adequate representation?

There's one important female character who is attracted to other women.

I wouldn't say that representation was really handled or discussed.

Did it perpetuate healthy ideals?

All of the characters are deeply flawed but that's the point of the work.

Did it teach me something or make me think?

I thought a lot while reading this book, I'll be perfectly honest.

I recommend this as a buddyread or a book club read because there is a lot to unpack

and talk about.

What was the writing style like?

The whole gimmick of this novel is that our protagonist is talking to Beck through the

narrative the whole time, as if in second person.

That was fun, but nothing too special.

Are the characters now my all-time favorites?

I've heard a lot of people say that they've been charmed by the protagonist and I really

do not get that.

He was written purposefully* to be grating and unlikable.

Beck, though, was a fantastic character and a joy to read about.

This also contains a terrible mental health professional, which is especially jarring

for me, as a mental health professional.

Was the plot cleverly written?

The plot was predictable, but I think it was supposed to be, because the narrative focused

on so many other elements.

Did I enjoy reading it?

I would be interested for a couple of chapters, then completely bored, and then interested

again.

Ultimately, I will say that it was a fun experience and I think that I will reread this in a couple

of years and analyze it more thoroughly.

Then I read Sweet Tooth volume 1.

I had absolutely no intention of ever reading his graphic novel series, but Kayla Rayne

talked me into it.

Did it have adequate representation?

I was a little irked by the female representation.

While women were shown to be technically strong in one scene,

they also asked men for help, which I hated.

But I have high hopes that the next volumes will fix this.

Did it perpetuate healthy ideals?

Again, I hated that women were asking men for help.

Did it teach me something or make me think?

No.

What was the writing style like?

This is the part that really worked for me.

I read the entire graphic novel in one sitting without pause.

The panels are mostly images, with very little text or dialogue.

The creator does an incredible job of evoking the emotions that come with reading post-apocalyptic

genre works.

I was really surprised and impressed by how much it engaged me.

Are the characters now my all-time favorites?

No.

They're nothing special.

Was the plot cleverly written?

It's a typical post-apocalyptic work, with slight unique tidbits.

I have a feeling that it's going to become more unique as the story goes along.

Did I enjoy reading it?

Yes I did, very much.

I am looking forward to reading the next volume.

So my next two wrap-ups will be a re-read wrap-up and a vlog-style, like,

graphic novel/library reading kind of wrap-up.

As I mentioned in my last video, I'm no longer asking you to come talk to me in the comments.

We're gonna say goodbye to that video-goodbye.

Come talk to me on Twitter. <3

Happiness | MalakSays - Duration: 2:45.

I'm not here to tell you how to be happy nobody can tell you how to be happy, but yourself

You're the only person who knows the way to your own happiness but I can tell you this

The main reason behind this dissatisfaction is that we aren't at a state of mind that is working towards fulfilling our wants

Not that we cannot fulfill our wants. It's just that we all like taking the easy way out

Because 'it's hard to get that car I've wanted my entire life'

'Takes a lot of time and effort to get fit and have the body I want'. 'It's a huge risk to start my own company'

See we all know exactly what we want

We just turn a blind eye to our wants and are always living with this feeling of emptiness inside.

Here's a little piece of advice

Always blame yourself for whatever you are experiencing

We're always pointing fingers at everybody else

But ourselves and that makes it easier for us to think that everybody else is the problem

So from now on it's not I'm not blessed with a rich family

It's I chose not to work hard enough to get that car

I did not put the time and effort into myself to get that summer body I want

When you start blaming yourself for what's going on in your life it'll create this feeling inside you of needing and wanting to change

Your lifestyle will never change unless the change comes from within

Appreciate yourself and be grateful for what you have but always strive for more

Don't ever underestimate yourself

Obstacles are nothing but a steep road

not a wall

make the bumps in this road turn into stepping stones

instead of looking at it and Contemplating whether you'll be able to pass or not

keep on accelerating harder and harder until you reach to the top

There is a huge chance that you will fall back, but that is only a greater opportunity for a stronger and more powerful push

There are no limitations upon us except for the limitations we put upon ourselves

The obstacles we face are just what makes everything thrilling

because it's boring to ask daddy for the car you want and get it just like that

feels very worthless

Obviously, that's not always the case not all of us can just go like hey, Baba

I want the new Mercedes Benz, but you know what I mean

So when you can't afford that car you want

It's your problem. You don't just carry on with your life, and throw a pity party for yourself

Life will put you through challenging circumstances, and you are gonna have to jump through hoops all the time

and that's your problem

How you deal with every situation determines who you are

so who are you?

Vegan Holiday Tips - Duration: 10:52.

Alright guys so the holidays are coming up and I know a lot of you are trying to

go vegan or even experiment with being vegan so if you're worried about your

family maybe giving you a hard time or making it a little awkward when you're

out at big family functions this video is for you! Alright so in this video we

really want to share like little tips and tricks I feel like that's what we're

good at you know sharing almost like little easy ways to incorporate being

healthier going vegan and Erica has some really insane facts about how many

calories and just how much healthier it's gonna be when you just make these

little adjustments and that's all it is little adjustments you don't have to

change your entire life to go vegan or to be healthy let's start with like

something really easy I feel like cozy holiday drinks are such a thing

especially for me like we've got pumpkin spice the peppermint mocha the vanilla

whatever like right just too many things so what's the most classic holiday drink

hot chocolate right so I'm gonna show you guys how to make a really healthy

vegan hot chocolate at home and you'll need a few ingredients so the first

thing you need is unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk really any nut milk

will do so if you like rice milk hemp milk totally your call then you need 1/4

a cup of dark chocolate chips I personally recommend the brand Lily's

it's vegan it's dark chocolate its sweetened with stevia stevia is the one

sweetener I recommend to everyone it's really the best one so some people don't

like the taste but when it's in these chocolate chips you really can't notice

it so you need the nut milk you need the chocolate chips a little bit of vanilla

extract and that is it and it takes about 5 minutes so this versus like a

packaged hot chocolate drink which is full of sugar that's just gonna make you

gain that weight it's gonna make your skin break out it's gonna cause diabetes

just lots of not fun stuff and it's processed the least process we can do

the better so so the next thing I want to talk about is like cozy holiday

drinks so you know like what's your favorite like Starbucks drink if

calories weren't an issue if health. Mine would be a Peppermint mocha if calories weren't an issue. So I want to teach you guys there's like a few

little spices that you can have at home that are really amazing for you they

have tons of health benefits and they kind of give you that like coziness

right all right so let's grab our spice lets see why don't you talk about these I'll

grab these so what do we got here so the first one is pumpkin pie spice and the

second one is ground cinnamon which by the way these are only a dollar

ninety-nine at Trader Joe's so stock up a lot of people think that they love

pumpkin because of the pumpkin like pumpkin spice spice but actual pumpkin

doesn't really taste like that in fact it's like really bland. It's extremely bland. So you're not

really that into pumpkin you're into the pumpkin spice so I highly recommend

literally adding this into like tea into your coffee like into anything

oatmeal it's so good. You can even add it to like your cookie recipes anything! Much better than just buying something packaged and not

knowing what they're adding into it these are at least clean and then

cinnamon we all love cinnamon I love cinnamon I post about it all the time if

you guys follow me you know I'm obsessed with cinnamon I put it in everything

because not only does it give you that cozy flavor it also helps regulate your

blood sugar so it's like a double whammy win-win you know I mean you should add

cinnamon to like your parents and grandparents stuff just like sneak it in

that way we can prevent diabetes it's just a sweet thing to do right you know

and then we've got ground cloves ground nutmeg so these might not taste that

great on their own but sometimes what I do is make like a little spice cocktail

like I just put them all together and like throw them in food and drink so

instead of going out getting those sugary drinks just try this at home

definitely top it with like a little coconut milk almond milk if you don't I

don't have a steamer at home I know that kind of seems intimidating I just heat

it up on the pot so super easy how much do you add I just like sprinkle

it in the good thing about these is there's no sugar there's no like bad

calorie so it's really up to you like you don't have to stress over it I'm not

a very good Baker that's probably like I don't know measurements and Eric is good

at baking I'm all about the DASH! you can DM her or ask her exact measurements Amy

you can figure something out for them something right okay now let's get to

the best part baking I love this part you've got your little facts right I'm

excited to share these facts with you guys so baking and

cooking so this can this is gonna fall in line with like you know stuffing

recipes, rice, cookies, pies like so many different things that you need butter,

eggs, and milk for you really don't need any of them so let's talk about

alternatives let's start with butter because I like this fats so obviously

butter can go into different I mean who do you cook with butter and like mac and

cheese maybe or like in potato it can go into anything even if you don't

necessarily want to go vegan I'd highly recommend switching to either coconut

oil or applesauce when you're baking so let's just give you like a little

calorie info here even if you don't care about being plant-based okay so I was

doing the math and if you were to make regular cookies and use the directions

on a bag so like a Toll House bag of cookies you use one cup of butter which

is two sticks and for one cup of butter it's 1,600 calories that's like

literally almost most people's entire day it and one cup of like oh that's

awful right so that would go into your cookies and that usually makes about

three dozen cookies so you can do the math there however you can supplement

the one cup of butter with half a cup of unsweetened applesauce which comes out

to 52 calories. Like 52 to 1600 like this isn't even just a little jump this

is a huge jump it's huge and way healthier yeah right I think that's a good point to

stress is that you know it's not all about like the vanity and wanting to

looking good even though that's totally fine like you're gonna look better and

you're doing something better for your health like you're preventing heart

attacks and high blood pressure and cholesterol like this is just the right

choice all around so you know if you're if you're with your family just kind of

suggest this sneak in and there maybe do it without them knowing and then just

have them taste it and they won't know the difference I like doing that too I

do that all the time. You do? I'm the Queen of telling someone that it's normal and

it's not and not that it's not normal but it's not the way that they're

expecting it it's healthier it's way healthier I always do that

nobody ever knows the difference I will tell you that cooking with applesauce

versus butter the texture is slightly different but it's not a massive jump if

that's what you're concerned about so I definitely recommend that okay you can

also supplement one cup of butter with one cup of coconut oil which one cup of

coconut oil is a little over 1,800 calories so it is more calories but it's

more calories but it's the right kind of calories like I said you're

actually getting nourishing healthy fats like coconut oil is amazing for energy

so you could even turn these like chocolate chip dessert cookies into

energy cookies you know like vegan energy cookies and honestly coconut oil

has the best taste like it just gives like a little coconut essence so it's up

to you if you want to go for maybe the little like the same texture and you

don't care about the calories go with the coconut oil if you want to watch the

calories and go with the applesauce if you want to eat more cookies go with the

applesauce exactly hahaha the next fact we have normally with when you're baking a batch of cookies you

use two eggs and two eggs they're about 80 to 90 calories each and you can actually

supplement them with flax seed eggs or chia seed eggs and the difference in

calories is that for two flax seed eggs its 110 calories and then for the Chia

seed eggs its 138 calories so there's not really too much of a difference there

but the health benefit is massive again the health benefits massive so one

little fact about chia seeds if you ever put them in water if you ever seen they

kind of turn into like that jelly substance and they expand this is the

same thing they do in your stomach so you eat them they expand in your stomach

they hold water they're full of fiber and this is actually what keeps you full

so these you know putting these in two different meals will keep you fuller

it'll give you more energy it's giving you healthy omegas great for your hair

great for your skin great for your heart so I highly recommend it! So there's a

lot of different recipes you can see you can literally Google one so my favorite

way to make a chia egg is just one tablespoon

chia seeds three tablespoons of water you should let it sit about 10 to 15

minutes just until it kind of congeals and forms like that little jelly

substance and then just a little extra fun fact is that if you do substitute

the applesauce for the butter and then the chia seeds for the for the eggs

right, for the eggs you're actually cutting about 50 calories out of each cookie. That's really good - 50 calories per cookie is amazing and that's just supposed

be like one little dessert exactly okay and the last thing I want to go over is

milk so obviously dairy or regular milk is

required in a lot of baking recipes and mashed potatoes and different things I

promise you you can sub so many different nut milk rice milk there's so

many things you could do and you really won't notice the difference in fact I

think almond milk and coconut milk give desserts like a better flavor

it's like nutty alright I like it I like it I drink it out like right in the

glass like as if it was a glass of milk so you know you can get everything un

sweetened and that'll keep it healthier hemp milk has a lot of protein if you're into

getting more protein you know there's hemp milk coconut milk

soy milk rice milk almond milk I think I covered them all so one thing to note

when you're doing these substitutions is that when it's milk you can usually

substitue milk for milk so you can do if it's one cup regular milk you can

usually do one cup coconut milk if it's butter and applesauce or any sort of

other things I would definitely look online to make sure you're substituting

the right amount because you don't want to mess up you're right your texture may

be one more thing to add if you're cooking something like mashed potatoes

or rice you might not want to do applesauce or coconut oil because

obviously it gives it a different taste that's when you go to something like

cold-pressed olive oil still a better choice and it's still going to give you

that nice texture alright guys I hope you enjoyed this video and just keep in

mind if you want to go healthy for the holidays or if you want to go vegan it

is possible you don't have to make it a big deal and it's something you can

really incorporate into you and your family's dishes and if you guys have any

questions or have any Oh suggestions please feel free to

comment below so like subscribe comment below and we'll see you next time

Later!

Bye! hahaha

Hamilton cast watching Lin-Manuel Miranda's emotional "Love is Love" speech at the Tonys - Duration: 1:04.

I'm not freestyling, I'm too old. I wrote you a sonnet instead

My wife's the reason anything gets done

She nudges me towards promise by degrees

She is a perfect symphony of one

Our son is her most beautiful reprise.

We chase the melodies that seem to find us

Until they're finished songs and start to play

When senseless acts of tragedy remind us

That nothing here is promised, not one day.

This show is proof that history remembers

We lived through times when hate and fear seemed stronger;

We rise and fall and light from dying embers,

remembrances that hope and love last longer.

And love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love

cannot be killed or swept aside.

I sing Vanessa's symphony, Eliza tells her story

Now fill the world with music, love and pride.

Thank you so much for this.

Eight O'Clock French Roast Coffee Review - Duration: 4:33.

- Wake me up it's time for eight o'clock.

(drum beat)

- So today we are reviewing Eight O'clock coffee's French

roast, which is supposed to be robust, smokey, and complex.

- And nonjudgmental.

(laughing)

- Unlike the French.

(laughing)

So, yeah so a hundred percent arabica coffee, sorry.

- Mhm.

- Not much else to say about it except for

they have been in business for quite some time.

- Yeah.

- 1849 I believe.

- It's a brand everybody knows.

- Yes, very well known brand.

It was a brand that we loved back when we first

started trying brands other than Folgers,

cause Folgers was our go to for years,

and then we kinda just started exploring coffee and then

- We said let's splurge and get the Eight O'clock coffee.

- Speaking of price, we paid like $7.49 a bag

for this, and it's a 12 ounce bag.

Although you can get it cheaper other places probably,

I bought it at Publix, but yeah.

- We've had other French roast coffees before and other

Eight O'Clock coffees before, right?

And I don't remember the other French roast coffees

- Yeah.

- In order to compare it to.

- Yeah, yeah.

- But we'll let this one stand alone

then let you know how many donuts we give it.

- Right, yeah, so ready to taste it?

- Yeah, let's get right into it.

- It does say that it's strictly high grown.

- That means above 5,400 feet or 4,400 feet.

- Yeah I can't remember

- The owner of Lake 503 coffee, which we reviewed a

couple of their coffees, fantastic coffee by the way,

explained to us what strictly high grown means,

and we have that somewhere I just don't

have it off the top of my head.

- Brian Pleytez is his name.

- Yes.

- And so, this coffee does come from Latin America,

and East Africa, so like they use a bunch of

different beans to get their French roast.

- Right.

- So the question is

- I wonder what makes it classified as French roast.

- I think it's because of the darkness,

it's like a really dark roast.

- Mm.

- Okay, so

- It does have flavor.

- It does have flavor, little bit bitter.

- Bitter flavor, yeah.

- Little bit bitter.

Not unenjoyableyso, but

so this past week we've been drinking

both this and the Donut Shop New England

and so whenever I would make myself coffee

I would go for this coffee over that one.

It's two totally different coffees, but

I enjoy this one okay.

- Yeah.

- For the price that we paid for it I

wouldn't buy it again, but if it was cheaper, you know.

- Yeah, it's a little dark for me, meaning

it's I think a little bitter.

- But I kinda enjoy just a slight bitterness.

Just a little (smacks lips) to the coffee.

- Mhm

- Yeah, it's pretty good, I'd say.

- Yeah.

- I'd give it like a solid three.

- Okay, that's what I was gonna say.

- Yeah, like a solid three, I mean, yeah.

Because of the price, if it was cheaper coffee

then I might say, you know, three and a half.

- Mhm, yeah.

Well you should also check out our other

Eight O'clock coffee reviews and

our other French roast reviews.

- Or if there's

- If there's a roast that you particularly like

let us know, we always like when people

recommend things, I mean we don't always have the same

opinion of it, but we do appreciate

those comments 'cause we like to know

like different things to try and

- Mhm

- You know, and what you guys think about it.

'Cause certainly we're not the experts, you guys.

- No, we are only experts of our own mouths.

- Yeah, everybody is their own expert

of their own mouth.

- Right.

Well do you have anything else to add about this

other than the fact that my voice just cracked?

- No I do not.

- Alright.

Well thanks for joining us everybody.

And until next time.
