Youtube daily report w Dec 5 2017

When Alan Shepard became the first American in space in 1961, he rode in a Mercury capsule

packed with the world's most cutting-edge technology.

It had almost everything you'd expect a spaceship to have, from a heat shield to plenty of oxygen.

But it was missing one really big thing: a computer!

Somehow, our first mission to space relied on Newton's good 'ole "what goes up,

must come down" idea about gravity.

Thankfully, we've come a long way since those early days.

And as computers have gotten more powerful, they've completely transformed how we explore

the solar system.

And along the way, the space industry gave computer science a boost, too.

By the time NASA was getting serious about landing on the Moon, everyone knew the Mercury

system wouldn't cut it.

Mission control in Houston provided most Apollo flight control data, but there were still

critical times when the astronauts couldn't rely on Earth.

And the most important time was during lunar landing.

Because the Moon is so far and signals can only travel so fast, there's a round-trip

communication delay of about two and half seconds between Earth and the Moon.

Which was just way too long during landing.

So each Apollo mission needed computers capable of doing everything necessary to reach the

lunar surface.

The problem was that computers back then fit in whole rooms, not on desks, and the Apollo

missions needed something with as little mass as possible.

So computer engineering had to step it up.

NASA assigned this huge task to MIT, which proposed using a new technology: the integrated circuit.

In the 1950s, computers were being made with transistors, tiny electronic switches that

form the foundation of digital circuits.

But all the wires needed to connect them together still left a bulky, sometimes unreliable end

result -- which is not good if you only get one chance to land on the Moon!

Integrated circuits solve this problem by printing the transistor and its wiring directly

on a thin sheet of silicon, which increases reliability and decreases weight.

Using integrated circuits in the Apollo Guidance Computer was a huge risk because they'd

never been tried outside a prototype — but they worked!

The final computers weighed only about 32 kilograms — or about as much as a golden

retriever — and each one performed flawlessly in flight.

To build them, MIT also bought basically the whole world's supply of integrated circuits,

which really helped out the computer industry.

In 1961, a single circuit cost about $32, and each Apollo computer used them by the thousands.

With all that demand, the price plummeted to just a buck-twenty-five a decade later,

and today every computerized product on Earth is built from integrated circuits.

Thanks, Apollo!

Of course, we had plenty of robotic missions in the 1960s, too.

And since those didn't have astronauts, they definitely needed computers.

But they were super basic!

Back then, they weren't even called computers; instead these so-called sequencers just stored

a list of commands and the time they should be executed.

Once the mission was in flight, everything was totally out of our hands.

The first mission to break this mold didn't come until 1969, when Mariner 6 and 7 flew

past Mars.

The Mariner 6 flyby happened first, and then scientists could use the data it collected

to reprogram Mariner 7 mid-flight.

That way, when Mariner 7 showed up at Mars five days later, it could get an even better

data return.

Now, almost 50 years later, our flight sequencing has gotten a lot more complicated, thanks

to more powerful computers.

When Cassini made its final dives between Saturn and its rings this fall, it was executing

the last commands of a 294-orbit mission.

Something that complicated could never have been planned out years in advance, so it was

critical that mission controllers could update the computer along the way.

Cassini's flight computer is simple compared to what's in your phone, but it successfully

flipped and spun the spacecraft to make sure every instrument was pointed in the right

place at the right time.

And all those flips and turns have taught us a lot about Saturn's moons, weather,

and more.

Modern computers are also enabling missions we wouldn't have dreamed of in the past

— like the Sky Crane that dropped the Curiosity rover on Mars in 2012.

Curiosity is way too big for an airbag-style landing, like what we used for the Opportunity

rover, so engineers built the parachute, rocket, and winch combo of the Sky Crane to lower

it to the ground.

Like with the Apollo landings, there's a communications delay between Earth and Mars,

so everything was up to the flight computer.

But unlike a sequencer, the computer had split-second decisions to make.

After being dropped from the parachute, the Sky Crane had just moments to find its elevation

and velocity, determine its orientation, account for the local wind speed, and fire its rockets

to get balanced.

And it had to decide when to lower Curiosity and when to cut it loose.

All before anyone on Earth even knew it was entering the atmosphere.

Spoilers: It worked!

And now Curiosity is living a happy, productive life on Mars.

Without computers powerful enough to collect that data and make those decisions, Curiosity

may have never made it to Mars in the first place.

And luckily there's no sign this innovation will slow down.

Opportunity and Curiosity can already pick some of their own objects to study, and Curiosity

can drive itself over short distances like a self-driving car.

That's a heck of a long way to come in sixty years, and there's no telling what will

come next.

Contenção Ortodôntica - Quanto tempo o paciente tem que usar? Posso remover do paciente? - Duration: 5:48.

Hi there! Is everything alright? Well, my name is Lucas Mendes. Welcome my channel and today

I want to talk to you about orthodontic retainers. I'm sure

if you are orthodontist or general dentist, many patients get in the office and

ask us: "Doctor when can I remove this

retainer? Take this little wire here back? "Am I right?

So, I tell you now how I work and what researches has shown.

Well, basically, people. Think about

the retainer as a Botox. Remember, teeth are live structures,

which are fixed through the periodontal ligament.

They are also living structures that are attached to the bone that are also

live structures. Then it is obvious that these teeth will not

stay immobile. They have a tendency to

move. That's natural! So what is it? How is it? What happens? How ...? Guys!

Let's stay calm. First thing. Answering directly to the question. Can I remove

my patient's 3 x 3 retainer?

Yes, you can! Since, the patient is aware and you have

consciousness in what you are doing. "What?" Well. Patients ask me and I ...

The people who know me know I'm kind of grumpy. And I have a macabre mood.

And when the patient comes to me to ask. "Dr. when can I remove the retainer"

My answer has always been: "Look, we can make a deal is with your funeral.

We do a partnership with the company you want to work and then before

to bury you, I remove the retainer." But I thought, I began to get a little worried

that some patients do not like this joke very much. Soooo.

So I changed my concept. Today I explain the following to the patient

when he asks me. "Can I take out the retainer?" What do I say to the patient? Look.

We can maintain the retainer while you want your teeth straight.

As soon as we remove, very probably your teeth will bend.

Why is that? One of the renowned authors in Brazil calls it of:

"The aging of the mouth." Ie "wrinkles from the mouth."

So just as the wrinkles, and that's why I started the video saying that the

retaimer is like a botox. If we remove the retainer

the trend is that the wrinkles return. If the patient that uses botox stop to use it.

the trend is that the wrinkle come back. If you want to know more about it? There is a video

from Dra. Cintia Junqueira, I'll put the link down here for you, she talks a lot

about Botox. Although, that is not the focus today but it's a good association with

the retainers. So my position with the patient is:

The first year, since the research has Showed. First year! It is the year in which

we have the major relapses. So in the first year I make a retainer, a firm control of

the retainer with the patient. And I ask him use the lower fixed retainer.

The 3 x 3. Bonded canine to canine behind the teeth, lingually.

Upper removable retainer. Hawley plate or acetate.

24 hours a day! This is my control. After a year

Hawley plate or acetate plate becomes as a pajamas. Uses to sleep. Okay? So these

are the retainers that I use. Why? Because scientific evidence shows that

most relapse occurs in the first year. So I have firmer control

in the first year. And how long I keep this retainers? I orientate the patient as this.

"While you want your tooth alignment, use the retainer." The day that this is not

important to you anymore. Come here that we remove. Ok? So that's the tip I want to show you today.

Retainer 3 x 3. How long I keep it. What I tell to my

patient. What I explain to my patient so that he is aware

the decision he is taking. Remember! The mouth is his. If he comes and say:

"Remove the retainer." Guys, remove. Another very important factor.

If the patient has a lot of tartar accumulation and is not brushing the teeth

proper. Guys, it is preferably a little crowded teeth than a severe

periodontal problem. Consciousness right? This is the hint. Fixed retainer (3 x 3)

in the lower and removable in the upper.

After a year, the upper is just to sleep and the lower forever as

have aligned. While you want your teeth aligned!

It is a tip. Welcome to the channel. This is only a hint video for you today.

Fast thing. Share with your patient who has doubts about

how long you they have to keep the retainer. Or to the patient who asked you. Or if you

just liked it. Shares! Comments! Make any comments here

below about retainers. Types of retainers. Aannddddd, you can talk

a little. Ok? Follows my channel! Click there to

subscribe! Mark on the bell to you receive

more informations. Because I will soon have a video about hygienic retainer.

Is it really good? Is it better than normal retainer? What? What the

scientific research shows? I'll show an article for you that shows exactly

about this. Strong hug! Follow us. See you.

Mesothelioma - causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, pathology - Duration: 4:46.

Mesothelioma is an aggressive cancer that attacks the mesothelium, which is a thin membrane

made of epithelial cells that lines all of the body's organs as well as body spaces

like the thoracic cavity and abdominal cavity.

Mesothelioma most often develops in the lining of the lungs and pleural cavity, and is well

known for its association with the carcinogen asbestos.

In fact, the late Hollywood actor Steve McQueen is known for having developed mesothelioma

after years of asbestos exposure while in the military.

That said the vast majority of mesothelioma cases stem from asbestos exposure.

Asbestos is a mineral that was widely used as construction material in everything from

paint to insulation to roofing tiles because it has strong fibers that were resistant to

fire and served as good insulation.

Asbestos fibers are jagged in shape, and extremely tiny - about 500 times finer than a human

hair.

If those tiny asbestos fibers get inhaled over time, they make their way into the interstitial

space of the lungs and then slowly make their way over to the epithelial cells of the visceral

or parietal pleura - both of which are layers of mesothelium.

The microscopic, jagged asbestos fibers are not metabolized or removed from the lungs

— so, unlike smoking, whose risk gets lower after you quit, the risk from asbestos exposure

stays with you for life.

The presence of these fibers leads to an inflammatory response and DNA damage.

Eventually, mutations can arise that lead to these epithelial cells dividing uncontrollably,

and turning into a tumor.

Over time, small cancerous growths called mesothelial plaques start to cover the visceral

pleura over the lungs and the parietal pleural under the chest wall.

Interestingly, these growths start to express a lot of calretinin, a calcium-binding protein,

involved in regulating calcium levels within the cell - and this is something that helps

to distinguish mesotheliomas from other types of tumors.

In addition to affecting the lungs and pleural lining, asbestos fibers can also end up in

the stomach if saliva containing the material or mucus from the airways is swallowed.

Research is also being done to find out whether asbestos fibers are capable of traveling through

the lymphatic system.

Because asbestos fibers affect epithelial cells, they can cause mesothelioma in nearly

any of the body's internal organs, but it's most commonly found in the lungs and abdominal

organs - the liver, spleen and the bowel - or in very rare cases, the pericardium lining

of the heart and testes.

Symptoms of mesothelioma affecting the lungs or parietal pleura include chest pain, shortness

of breath, pleural effusions, and if the tumor invades into a blood vessel - it can result

in bloody sputum.

Occasionally, a mesothelioma can also destroy the lung tissue between the bronchial tree

and the pleural space, leading to a pneumothorax - which is air in the pleural space.

Diagnosing a mesothelioma typically begins with a chest Xray or CT scan - with key findings

being pleural thickening, as well as a pleural effusion or pneumothorax.

Ultimately, though, the diagnosis is made with a biopsy of the tumor.

In suspected cases of mesothelioma, the tissue sample can be immunostained with an antibody

that reacts to the protein calretinin, and it gives the cytoplasm and nuclei of the cancerous

cells a distinctive "fried egg" shape.

Unfortunately, the prognosis for Mesothelioma is poor unless it's caught early, this because

the cancer is extremely resilient and has typically spread to multiple organs by the

time it's detected.

Treatment depends heavily on the stage of the disease, and usually combines surgery,

chemotherapy, and radiation.

Alright, as a quick recap - mesothelioma is an asbestos-related cancer that usually involves

the lining of the lungs and pleural lining under the chest wall.

Tiny asbestos fibers get inhaled, make their way into epithelial cells, and cause DNA damage,

which ultimately leads to the formation of mesothelial plaques and pleural thickening.

her young daughter about dating boys in the future.

Pink reportedly said, "She said to me the other day, 'How many boys can I have at

once?' and I said, 'Excuse me?'"

But then Pink assures the magazine that she gave Willow a little life lesson.

Pink reportedly said," "Probably none of them because they won't deserve you…

They have to be kind, respectful, they have to be chivalrous, they have to be good to

their moms, they have to be good looking, they have to be funny."

Considering Cosmo also reports that Pink's main hope for womankind is "equality, safety

Fox News: Wikileaks Proves Hillary Disclosed Classified Secrets To Foreign Leaders For

Cash!

Hillary Clinton spoke of insider information concerning the incursion that led to the killing

of Bin Laden with a crew of Canadian businessmen, reveal the emails leaked by WikiLeaks recently.

Chief intelligence correspondent Catherine Herridge reported on Fox News Tuesday that

Clinton gave the speech to a group of business leaders in November 2013.

In Clinton's speech, she specifically discussed "sources and methods" of the raid that

led to Osama Bin Laden assassination, Herridge said.

Discussing that information "appears to be a violation of national security," Herridge

noted.

Clinton told the business group that an intercepted phone call was part of the intelligence trail

that led to bin Laden's compound in Pakistan.

According to former Special Ops official, Dan Maguire, Hillary Clinton showed "no

respect" for classified information.

"Operation security is paramount," Maguire said.

He added that the revelation Clinton shared this information shows a lack of "integrity

and discipline" on the part of those who've looked into the incident.

So, who has looked into the incident?

Herridge also pointed out an infuriating double standard.

"This was a paid speech by Hillary Clinton," Herridge said.

She noted that the U.S.

Government recently took legal action against former Navy SEAL Matt Bissonnette for disclosing

information in his book, "No Easy Day."

Bissonnette was instructed by a federal court to give the government approximately $7 million

for talking about the very same incursion of Osama Bin Laden.

It was by no means easy but in the Cuitat de Valencia stadium, Atletico at last got some goals under their belt.

Gameiro and Griezmann dispelled all doubts about los Colchoneros striking force.

They each got a brace as the two Frenchmen were the architects of the thrashing meted out to Levante

in their home stadium.

Now after the midweek cup game against Elche, LaLiga returns to the Wanda Metropolitano with Atletico

looking to remain firmly ensconced in third place.

"Over the last couple of games the team has been growing in stature, every day a little more.

We're getting better, and this can obviously only help improve the team overall and add to our resilience"

Facing them on the pitch, a Real Sociedad side who have come away with nothing from their last two away games

but who go to the Metropolitano with Odriozola finally available, and with Willian Jose and Januzaj

who are both on fire at the moment.

Match of the Weekend: Athletic Club vs Real Madrid - Duration: 4:19.

It's one of the quintessential games of the season.

A confrontation soaked in history and tradition.

There's no denying every time Athletic and Real Madrid come up against each other at San Mames,

it's a very special fixture.

Neither of the teams are in their best form coming into this clash, but it's a perfect opportunity for both sides

to turn round their shaky progress so far this season.

Los Blancos arrive at 'The Cathedral' of Spanish football having cut the gap from Barcelona down to eight points.

However, the difficulties encountered in their game against Malaga means the team's following are still not

convinced they have found their way.

"Can we play better? Yes. "Do we have to improve our game? Yes. The thing that gets me is how easily we lost

the ball today"

The best news for Real Madrid as far as the game was concerned, was without doubt the fact that both

Benzema and Cristian regained their form in front of goal.

"It's great news for us. When our two strikers put the ball in the net it has a phenomenal effect on the team"

'Kuko' Ziganda's Athletic have also had a disappointing season so far.

After coming away with just a point from their game at Riazor last week the Lions are now fifth from bottom,

a long way off from the seventh spot they managed in last season's competition.

Moreover, Ziganda comes into the game missing a number of crucial players.

As well as the already absent Muniain and Beñat, Aymeric Laporte is suspended

so it seems likely Xabi Etxeita will be accompanying Unai Nuñez in the centre of the Bilbao defence.

Oscar De Marcos is also doubtful. After three months out he returned to the team last matchday weekend

but he had to come off after injuring a toe. Athletic's number '18', despite the setbacks is still optimistic

about their chances in the encounter.

"We're really up for this game. It's very special. We've given Madrid a hard time over the years and we intend

to carry on doing so."

"It's a great game to play in. It's always a thrill to be at home with our fans behind us and going hell for leather

against Madrid. It's an exciting match with a lot riding on it"

Another of the key players in this contest will be Kepa Arrizabalaga, who, so they say,

Madrid have had their eyes on for some time.

On the visiting side, it seems likely that Zidane will be able to count on Keylor Navas and Sergio Ramos

who were all unavailable last time out.

Encouraging news for Real Madrid's plans as they look to win for the third time in a row at San Mames.

Last year they won 2-1 with Benzema, Aduriz y Casemiro all getting on the scoresheet.

This is one of the most important away games for los merengues this season.

It's a game which demands total application and in which neither team can afford to slip up.

Tradition and necessity, the past and the present all come together in the big game of

this match weekend in LaLiga Santander.

Preview UD Las Palmas vs Real Betis - Duration: 1:06.

After eight consecutive defeats in LaLiga Santander, Las Palmas got themselves a bit of breathing space with

their draw at Anoeta last weekend which saw them move off the bottom of the table.

However, another defeat, this time in the cup, has resulted in the sacking of manager Pako Ayesteran.

Now, stuck in the relegation zone and five points away from salvation, the aim is to take something from a Betis

side whose spectacular run seems to have ground to a halt.

Four games without a win Quique Setien's side visit a ground where they have won just three times in their last

21 encounters.

It will be a special game for the Betis coach who will be returning to the ground that

was his home for nearly two years.

"There are no easy opponents these days. Every game is difficult. Las Palmas are going through a tough spell

and naturally, like us, they also want to end their poor run. That piles on the pressure for both clubs,

whoever keeps their nerves intact will be the team to come out on top"

10 Years Ago... Matchday 14 LaLiga 2007/2008 - Duration: 2:59.

Ten years ago, the big game of the week was a Catalan derby with some unfinished business surrounding it,

following the famous Tamudazo that had cost Barcelona the league just months before.

Despite having several absentees, Barça had the better of the chances, thanks to another superb showing

from Leo Messi. He set up Andres Iniesta for the opening goal of the game.

The response from Albert Riera in the second half was a great assist for Coro, and at the other end

Carlos Kameni's saves were enough to earn Espanyol a point against their eternal rivals.

In the other derby of the matchday, Sevilla played their first ever game at the Juegos Mediterraneos.

It was an epic game in which UD Almeria took the win, thanks to a late goal from se Santi Acasiete.

The most memorable aspect of the game, however, was the debut of Diego Alves,

who displayed his full repertoire of saves for the home side.

The performances by Kameni and Alves weren't the only ones of note that weekend.

Notario, Ricardo Lopez and Leo Franco all put their bodies on the line, literally, for their teams.

In fact, the latter two were unable to complete the full 90 minutes after their efforts.

Impressive goals from Plasil, Carlos Martins, Raul Garcia,

Yeste and Raul Gonzalez proved to be unstoppable for any goalkeeper.

The Real Madrid striker found the net twice to keep Real Madrid top of the table and catch Luis Fabiano

and Messi in the top scorer chart.

He wasn't the only player to bag a brace, either: Braulio for Getafe and Fernando Llorente for Athletic,

as well as Carlos Martins for Recreativo de Huelva, sent their teams to victory with their goals.

Real Betis again missed out on a win at the Ruiz de Lopera, in what was Hector Cuper's last game in charge.

He was replaced by youth team coach Paco Chaparro after the game.

You Don't Have to Feel The Holy Spirit to Have Faith In It - Duration: 1:35.

I realize that I talk about this,

that there's a couple of kinds of people

who are listening to this.

There's those of you who are wired very spiritually,

you are mystically minded, you are, you're,

you are connected in a variety of ways, supernaturally,

and when we talk about things with the Spirit,

there's that sense of, "Ah, good!."

My experience, my day-to-day experience

is being validated, and I appreciate

kind of the release to be myself.

And then there's other people here

who are not wired that way, and say,

"I guess I could believe this on faith,

"but frankly, I don't get it.

"I don't experience it, it's not really my day-to-day."

And you know, I've mentioned this before,

that's my wiring, I appreciate it,

but I trust in the work of the Spirit.

Why, because I've fallen in love with Jesus

and He tells me about the Holy Spirit.

And so I don't have to feel it to have faith in it.

I don't have to say, "I get the tinglies,

"so I know the Spirit's at work."

I can say, "I trust Jesus," so I know the Spirit's at work.

So if you sense, if you experience

the work of the Holy Spirit,

in a very,

very present and vivid way,

beautiful, we validate that.

But also if you don't that's a different kind of beautiful.

You trust Jesus and know the Holy Spirit

is at work in your life.

Mike Pence Tried To Kick Trump Off Presidential Ticket When Access Hollywood Tape Came Out - Duration: 3:10.

The Atlantic has posted a nice little, I guess profile, of Vice President Mike Pence, where

they actually revealed some details about Pence that I don't think Donald Trump really

wanted the public to understand.

According to the article, Mike Pence told officials within the Republican National Committee

that he would be more than happy, more than willing, and more than able to replace Donald

Trump as the Republican Party's Presidential nominee in 2016 following the release of the

Access Hollywood tape where Donald Trump bragged about sexually assaulting women.

Mike Pence, according to the article, approached the RNC and said, "I can take over for him,

I can do this.

We just have to get of him."

Other articles have specified that top donors within the Republican party approached members

of the Trump campaign and asked them how much it would cost to buy him out of the race once

the tape was released, how much money would they have to give Donald Trump in order for

him to step down?

Do you know what the price was?

$800,000,000.

Of course, the donors decided not to pay that and in the end, because of the electoral college,

it ended up paying off for them big time.

However, we know the kind of person that Donald Trump is.

We know he's the kind of guy who demands loyalty from every single person that wants to stay

on his good graces.

Now the public knows that Mike Pence wanted to overthrow him on the ticket.

How is Donald Trump going to react to this?

Of course, publicly, I'm sure he's going to say, things are great, things are fine.

Mike Pence is a great guy, I love him dearly, just like he has with every other person that's

gotten in trouble within his administration for not being loyal.

Behind the scenes, this story is going to wreak absolute havoc on the relationship between

Donald Trump and Mike Pence.

I promise you Donald Trump is already trying to find a reason to kick Mike Pence out of

office.

If that happens, impeachment will not be too far behind.

Why?

Because Mike Pence is the establishment Republican.

He is the guy with the direct line to the Koch brothers and of the other wealthy Republican

donors who want to get whatever they can out of this administration.

If you lose Pence, the Republican donors, the money class, loses control of the party.

They're not going to let that happen.

If Donald Trump attempts to retaliate against Pence, the wealthy Republican donors will

have the House and Senate retaliate against Donald Trump.

That's the way this thing could end up playing itself out.

To be perfectly honest, that is exactly the outcome that I am hoping for.

Top 10 Scariest Gun Moments In Video Games - Duration: 5:51.

Guns aren't just a weapon in video games.

Sometimes they're plot devices, adding an element of terror or dread to the story, usually

in the form of a threat.

And just as you'd expect from people in real life, characters in games react in many

different ways when they have a gun pointed at their heads.

So today we're counting down the top 10 scariest gun moments in video games.

And, warning, major spoilers ahead.

10 Home - Gun shot noise One of the lighter entries on our list here,

Home is an 8-bit game where you wake up in a house with a bummed leg and no memory as

to how you got there.

All you know is you need to find your wife Rachel and get back home.

Throughout your journey home, you start to unravel several greater mysteries, all of

which are left eerily ambiguous by the end of the game.

You're entirely alone, with only a flashlight and the sounds of your foot steps - no score,

just sound design, which makes the game quite creepy.

So very much so that at one point towards the beginning of the game, a gun shot goes

off.

As to where it came from or what was shot, well, that's a mystery.

But it's one hell of a jump scare.

9 Until Dawn - Shooting Wendigos From the horror game Until Dawn, there's

a few moments where you have to use a gun to defend yourself from Wendigos - humanoid

creatures who attack a group of friends staring at a lodge in Alberta, Canada.

And it's life or death in those moments - you need to make sure you hit them or else

you'll be dead.

All eight characters in the game can be killed or kept alive depending on the decisions you

make, and in this particular sequence with Chris, you're running through the forest

for your life as Wendigos attack you.

8 Lara Croft Rise of the Tomb Raider While Rise of the Tomb Raider had solid aspirations

in terms of really showing some character growth for Lara aside from just being a sex

symbol, the game had one flaw that many people couldn't help but notice - the fact that

the violence towards Lara and her death animations played out like torture porn.

There's a few instances in the game where she's brutally shot and killed or even does

the killing herself that make for a pretty intense gun moment.

Although in comparison to some of the impalements, its a walk in the park.

7 Super Columbine Massacre RPG This is an entry on our list where almost

the entirety of the game is a scary gun moment.

Built using RPG Maker 2000, this highly controversial game puts players in the roles of Columbine

shooters Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold.

The game uses digitized versions of photographs and voice samples throughout, recreating the

attacks.

It's disturbing despite being 16-bit, and received a ton of criticism, even though creator

Danny Ledonne emphasized it's purpose as an art game, with it being an expression of

how he felt towards the shooting and it's aftermath.

6 Hatred While one can try to justify Super Columbine

Massacre RPG as an art game, Hatred is a little harder to argue for.

Hatred is a game where you play a misanthropic mass killing sociopath on what he terms as

a genocide crusade.

Also, beautifully designed, just saying.

Developed by Destruction Creations, the game was suppose to be a response to the increasing

trend of political correctness, politeness, and games as art within the gaming industry.

While the whole game could qualify for this list, the Antagonist (aka the name of the

character you play) has a monologue at the beginning of his spree that ends with you

starting to kill screaming NPCs begging for mercy.

It's intense.

5 The Walking Dead - Duck's Death In classic Walking Dead fashion, there's

a scene in season 1 of the game that features a little boy, named Duck, who has been infected.

So the group does the only thing they can do - they prepare to shoot him.

His parents want one last opportunity to say goodbye to their boy before it's done, but

in the process, his mother kills himself, unable to withstand the pain.

4 Life is Strange - Chloe is Shot Life is Strange is an incredibly emotional

game that, similar to Until Dawn, the decisions you make will effect the outcome of the game,

and certain events.

During one of the games' chapters, your best friend Chloe is accidentally shot.

And it's quite the shock.

But the game has a feature in which protagonist Max can turn back time - with dire consequences

of course.

But in this instance, Max has been drugged, and can't rewind, leading to Chloe's death.

3 The Last of Us - Sarah's death The Last of Us is an incredibly emotional

game.

It manages to give you an excellent gameplay experience all while really bringing the feels

story wise.

And it does this right off the bat, when we witness Joel's daughter Sarah dying, brutally

murdered in front of him by the military.

2 Spec Ops the line - White Phosphorous While this isn't a gun in the traditional

sense, this sequence still counts as pretty horrific, even though it's white phosphorus

being shot out of a cannon.

White Phosphorus munitions are a highly effective smoke producing agent that is self igniting.

Meaning it can do things like burn off clothes, skin, even break down bone in some cases.

So when it's used it Spec Ops the line, it was controversial.

And incredibly effective it terms of putting the player in a morally questionable situation.

You don't have a choice in the matter when using it - you have a certain amount of time

to bomb the army below, all while seeing your own reflection in the screen, growing more

apparent as it gets foggier.

Then, you have to walk through the chaos you've caused.

It's terrifying and disturbing all at once, once you see the ramifications your actions

have had.

And for a game that felt it wasn't the cream of the crop in terms of well developed first

person shooters, the questions it raises about morality and excess in video games makes playing

it worth while.

1 Call of Duty In likely the most disturbing mission in Call

of Duty history, the 'No Russian' mission forces you to work with a group of terrorists

whom you're infiltrating.

And in order to infiltrate properly, you htop 10 best games to play on halloween ave to

do what they say in order to not raise suspicion.

To our dismay, that meant helping this group of terrorists shoot down a bunch of civilians

at an airport.

Similar to our last number, players are forced with a skewed moral decision as they must

walk around the airport and murder innocent people.

Being a bit of an all too real nightmare these days, No Russian hits too close to home for

some of us.

There we have it.

Proof for Flat Earthers - LOTR Prequel?! - Duration: 4:41.

Can anyone guess what we're talking about today based on the shirt?

Hi everybody, I'm Amanda the G and Amazon is making a prequel to the Lord of the Rings.

This is something I heard about and then multiple of you contacted me in various ways to tell

me 'hey, guess what's happening!'

I'm kind of...nervous.

There's not a lot of information yet released about this series, so I was going to hold

off talking about it until then, but forget it, we're talking about it now.

The Tolkien estate has evidently decided that they want more money or whatever, so they

decided to go ahead and create a package and offer it to different companies between 200

million and 250 million dollars.

Although the money has not actually been released, the exact amount, I'm going to assume that

it was 250 million dollars considering they went with Amazon.

So the Tolkien estate gets their nice 250 million dollars along with whoever else is

helping them put this together and they said that they have the rights to, you know, stream

the videos, I'm sure, and also produce a prequel.

And Amazon jumped on this because yes let's capitalize on nerds again!

And the thing is, there are people that will watch it and will have absolutely no problem

with it no matter what it is because they really don't care.

And then there are people like me.

I know they want to have something that's probably akin to Game of Thrones, and they're

probably going to put as much money into it as is put into Game of Thrones.

And they're probably going to be spending millions and millions of dollars every year

to produce this series which has I don't know how many seasons it's going to do.

I don't know what's gonna happen and I'm kind of nervous.

And here's why.

There's already a prequel to Lord of the Rings!

It's fucking called the Hobbit.

We already bastardized that on screen.

Then on top of that, there's a prequel to the Hobbit!

How much of a nerd are you?

Do you know this?

Do you know this?

It's the Silmarillion.

Is this series going to be the Silmarillion?

Is it going to be the Hobbit?

Is it going to be the 60 years that happen between the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings

where essentially nothing happens?

Bilbo goes and visits his friends.

Some people build some armies.

But nobody even really knows that the ring's been found yet.

And hobbits eat.

And Aragorn walks around.

And Gandalf walks around.

So I'm afraid that they're gonna take this time to add in discord that isn't there between

characters and do stupid shit like remove discord that is there and have things like

elves and dwarves gettin' along!

If it's that 60 years, what are they really going to do with it?

And if they do the Silmarillion which has so much there, are they just gonna make a

bunch of shit up or are they actually gonna use the work?

What if they put those stupid Rosegobel rabbits, whatever the hell that was, back into it?

Or make more clumsy elves?

This is not the way things happened people!

And I know you're gonna tell me that the Lord of the Rings and the whole Hobbit and everything

isn't real, but do you really know that?

The end of the Lord of the Rings is the dawning of man which could be the beginning of our

history.

Ok, it's written, it could be real, it even explains why the Earth is round!

At the end of the second age, Aru removed Aman from the Earth, split it in two, made

what was left of the Earth spherical, and then created a path that breaks away from

the curvature of the Earth to go up to Aman for the elves.

There was a whole reasoning behind that, and a lot of stuff that led up to it, which we

don't really need to get into here, but maybe they will in the series!

And then maybe flat Earthers will finally realize that the Earth is fucking round and

if you don't believe it from the science, maybe you'll believe it from Tolkien and the

elves!

This went to a really weird place.

Am I gonna watch this?

Possibly.

I don't want to buy Amazon streaming service just to watch something that's probably going

to piss the shit out of me.

So it may be one of those that I watch on someone else's account, or with friends, or

later when it's released and I know how shit it is.

That's it on my rant on the prequel to Lord of the Rings that Amazon is doing, for now,

because there may be more once it's actually produced.

If you liked this video, click the like button and subscribe to my channel, I make a new

video every Tuesday and Friday.

Thank you guys so much for watching.

MWAH!

Are we ever gonna see Tom Bombadil?

[ENG] 171128 KNK @ Maya Channel Exclusive Interview - Duration: 15:51.

Hello, I'm Heejun.

Hello, I'm Jihun.

Hello, I'm Seungjun.

Hello, I'm Inseong.

Hello, I'm Youjin.

[What is your role in KNK?]

In KNK I'm in charge of vocal and I'm the youngest in the group.

I'm a leader of KNK and I'm in charge of choreography.

In KNK I'm in charge of being cutie-cutie.

I'm a lovely vocalist of KNK.

I'm the oldest member of KNK.

[What's the meaning of your group name, KNK?]

It means 'to become big people in the entertainment world' and in English it means to knock to the kpop's door.

[What are your thoughts on Thailand and Thai fans (I guess)?]

Firstly, when Thai fans cheered for us so much I was really moved

and Thai fans support us whether it's morning or night, so I was really touched.

Firstly, it's a country we really wanted to visit, so it's great that we're here and we've been here for only a day, so we weren't able to make many memories yet.

[Something about food]

Today we ate breakfast. We ate stir-fried noodles (Pad Thai), mandu and a sauce a lot.

[What are your strong points? What do you think about the members? What was your first impression about them]

First of all, our strong point is that we're showing a masculine beauty with a public friendly and easy music.

And let's start with Youjin like this.

Our...

Yeah so Inseong...

First of all, his voice is really amazing.

When it comes to vocal skills... There's a side where you can put all the special voices and the other with powerful voices.

He plays really well his minor role as a powerful vocal of our group.

And also he's in charge of giving reactions.

We're not really good at this, so I think he's a friend acting a lot in our group, working hard alone to give reactions.

Seungjun hyung is really tall and his face is really handsome.

It's a hyung with a really charming voice when he raps.

Jihun is first of all tall, his legs are long and his body is really pretty.

And he also dances well and his face also is really cute.

Mandu~

Are they really his strong points...?

He has this kind of charm...

When he lays down, he's face is so cute, soft, like a pudding.

When he lays down?

When he gets bloated...

He has this cute as pudding charm.

But when the swelling goes down, he looks sharp. Full of charisma.

It's this kind of charm. Reverse charm.

Reverse bloating charm.

Heejunie firstly is really talented.

He's a friend that works hard to improve himself without a break.

When he sings he's the most charming.

And he can also rap well.

Youjin hyung.. First of all his voice is good, he's manly and he's the oldest hyung that takes care of us well.

Jihun hyung seemed like a cold guy, but as we practiced I realized he's really fun and warm.

Firstly when I saw Seungjun hyung for the first time (I thought) he was a really tall guy, but even though he's tall, he seemed like a really short kid, so it was really shocking.

Inseong was like a chocolate pudding.

Youjn hyung... First, he was really- When I saw a picture, his face looked like he would be a cold person.

When I met him I thought he was really timid.

But now that we've spent some time together, it's not that he's timid, he's just a person who feels other people, who looks like a person who tries to be considerate to other people.

When I saw Heejun he used to choose old songs showing sensitivity while playing the quitar.

So I didn't imagine him being that versatile.

But he's full of curiousity and chastity.

And now he's in charge of many talents in our team.

So my thoughts changed about that.

[What do you think the other members would do if they were not singers (I guess)?]

Jihun hyung... I think he would become a pro gamer.

Pro gamer?

Yeah, game.

Is there any reason?

He really likes games.

Seungjun hyung...

What can I- Basketball player?

Yeah, when we were trainees he would go to Han River to play basketball.

Because he likes it.

Inseong's really great at doing eating broadcasts like people from YouTube.

Youjin hyung...

He likes eating bread...

Bread company.

An owner of bakery.

Is there a reason?

He likes bread.

He really liked bread since he was young.

And he's really interested in it.

He really likes Western kitchen.

But it's about bread..

But it's true it's Western kitchen.

It's not Oriental kitchen...

Heejunie would just... probably...

Mathematician.

I think he would graduate early and just do business.

[Any words to other members and to your fans (I guess)?]

Our members, you've worked hard for this one year. From now on also let's work hard to be able to promote for a long long time.

There will be happy moments, but there will be also times when the difficulat moments and hardships come to find us.

When they come, I hope we can all gather our strength and overcome them and get to the top.

In good health.

We, KNK, will work hard, release albums and do many concerts for our fans.

We'll become a group that meets lots of Tinkerbells.

SCU Gone Wild is an attempt to use the campus here as a living lab and

we're really interested in the natural history of the campus as an ecological

community. Rather than going far away, let's look at our own little world here

and see what kind of habitat this is. I've been as part of what we're

doing, I'm teaching a class now--an advanced writing class called writing

for the birds. And for me, just taking students out who have been maybe three

or four years on campus, who've never noticed birds. The first day out, like

last semester, within minutes we had seen Western Bluebirds. We saw a Townsend's

Warbler and people were just like, "Oh my God, did you set this up? You know there's

a lot of exciting flora and fauna here if you look for it. But for me,

turning students on to that and having them start and look for it is the

main excitement. Just this morning I was out doing a bird survey with one of our

interns at 7:45 and we had 20 different species of birds that we

were able to identify in an hour-long walk, including a couple rare things, but

there's always a little surprise somewhere if you look. That's been

the best part. We have a Facebook page and we have a website

SCU Gone Wild--just Google that--and you could join in

on one of our our bird walks in the mornings. We do a Bio Blitz every year, we

have photo contests photographed on-campus wildlife or maybe during spring

break if you're going on a hike or something, so check in with our Facebook

page and that'd be a good place to start.
