Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant isn't called "The Black Mamba" only because

of his on-court exploits during his playing days.

He also earned that label for being one of the most venomous trash talkers the NBA has

ever seen.

The future Hall of Famer even revealed to the University of Connecticut Huskies women's

basketball coach Geno Auriemma that he also liked to talk junk to former Husky Richard

Hamilton, especially when the Big Dance comes around.

Here's what Bryant had to say about it during an appearance on Auriemma's Holding Court

with Geno Auriemma podcast.

"I only miss it when the tournament time comes around and I see Richard Hamilton, they'll

show clips of him winning and stuff like that.

I just feel compelled to text Rip and say, 'You know, you only won because I didn't

go to college?'

That's when I miss it.

I just miss the competitive bantering that could've taken place."

Kobe Bryant did not indeed go to college, which isn't exactly a big piece of trivia.

The five-time NBA champion skipped college and turned pro right after high school in

1996, while Hamilton went through the traditional route to the NBA, playing three years for

UConn before entering the 1999 NBA Draft, where he was selected seventh overall by the

Washington Wizards.

Of course, Richard Hamilton always has an ace up his sleeve to shout back at Kobe, and

that's the fact his Detroit Pistons team beat the star-studded Lakers team Bryant was

part of in the 2004 NBA Finals.

A dozen Arab ambassadors have asked India to clarify its position on the U.S recognition

of Jerusalem as Israel's capital, diplomatic sources said, after New Delhi's muted response

suggested a shift in support for the Palestinian cause.

U.S. President Donald Trump abruptly reversed decades of U.S. policy this month when he

recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital, generating outrage from Palestinians.

Trump also plans to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv.

Countries around the world, including U.S. allies Britain and France, criticized Trump's

decision, but India did not take sides.

Instead, the Indian foreign ministry in a brief statement, said India's position was

consistent and independent of any third party.

The bland statement made no reference to Jerusalem and prompted criticism at home that it was

insufficient, vague and anti-Palestinian.

Israel maintains that all of Jerusalem is its capital.

Palestinians want East Jerusalem as the capital of a future independent state and say Trump's

move has left them marginalized and jeopardized any hopes of a two-state solution.

Last week, envoys from Arab states including Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Kuwait based in New

Delhi met Indian junior foreign minister M.J. Akbar to brief the government about an Arab

League meeting on Dec. 9 condemning the U.S. decision, a diplomatic and an Indian government

source said.

The envoys also sought a more forthright Indian response, the sources said.

But Akbar gave no assurance and the Indian source said the government had no plans for

a further articulation on Jerusalem, which is at the heart of the Israeli-Palestinian

conflict.

"Akbar did not promise anything," the diplomatic source briefed on the meeting said,

speaking on the condition of anonymity because of diplomatic sensitivities.

India was one of the earliest and vocal champions of the Palestinian cause during the days it

was leading the Non-Aligned Movement while it quietly pursued ties with Israel.

But under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, New Delhi has moved to a more open relationship

with Israel, lifting the curtain on thriving military ties and also homeland security cooperation.

Modi's Hindu nationalist ruling group views Israel and India as bound together in a common

fight against Islamist militancy and long called for a public embrace of Israel.

Modi in July made a first trip to Israel by an Indian prime minister and did not go to

Ramallah, the headquarters of the Palestinian Authority and a customary stop for leaders

trying to maintain a balance in political ties.

P.R. Kumaraswamy, a leading Indian expert on ties with Israel at New Delhi's Jawaharlal

Nehru University, said a "major shift" on India's policy had been evident since

early this year when Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas visited New Delhi.

web version for the app.

Reliance Jio's networks comes packaged with a suite of apps from the company, which includes

Jio's suite of apps are free along with the Jio Prime membership and users can enjoy

all the content on these apps for free.

Where the JioTV app is concerned, it is available for iOS and Android devices (smartphones and

tablets).

On iOS, users need version 7.0 or higher and Android users need version 4.1 or higher to

enjoy JioTV.

JioTV and the other apps also work with JioPhone as well, which is a feature phone device.

Users will have the option of viewing JioTV on their desktop browser itself.

In order to view the content on JioTV, users just need to go to the jio tv.com website

(http://jio tv.com) and they can start watching the content.

However, users will have to sign-in with their Jio SIM number and password in order to enjoy

the shows.

For users who are on the Jio network, the MyJio app requires that a password is created

along with the Jio number.

This same password along with the current Jio number will have to be entered on the

JioTV website.

Currently JioTV has 425+ channels on offer and the company will continue to add more.

So today tadaa! I wanted to do something with these choco eggs that I bought in Beijing

These are "called" choco eggs But it's plastic so I guess it's not a chocolate egg?

Well anyways it's sort of like a chocolate egg It says here that's made by kinder

it has "Kinder joy maxi" written on here

オープン there's 3 smallish things in here

It's got a dog's face on it I guess this is using a dog character

And inside is.... And we have to open yet another thing as well

I open this big thing And then inside there's 3 more things that need to be opened

omg and we have to open this as well

And what's up with this?

There's some toys in here

But wait, there's no chocolate here WAT? huh? this ain't no chocolate egg

ahhh it was in it afterall

On one side is the toys And the other contains the chocolate

And look at it... it looks so scrumptious

Oh and you eat it with this thing

Oh and it's so soft and I don't think it's because my room is Hot or anything... I think it's supposed to be very soft

Becky can you go for that one? I think the most important thing, I think I said

already, is just to really think about what's important to you

on the day. You know if your dress is one of the really important parts of your

day for you then you know 100% budget. You know make a list and decide what it

is that you want to spend your money on, put your dress at the top of the list

and then you can work the rest of your day around that. Personally I would,

as a photographer, I think photography is a really important part of your day

because obviously it does last and it would be something to remind you of your

most amazing day of your life for years to come and also not even not even just

for the years to come for generations as well to come. I know I love looking

through my parents wedding album. 100% hundred percent think about it, chat to

your other half, make a list, put what's most important to you at the top of that

list and then you can kind of work your way from there as well. I think one of

the mistakes a lot of brides make is they're on a tight budget is to try and

do everything on a small budget so they don't really do anything well. If you're

on a tight budget choose what's important to you and just spend more on

those things don't try and just put a little bit of

money to everything because then nothing will be exactly how you want it. So like

Becky said if photography is the most important thing put the most amount of

your budget towards that. If you want loads of people then maybe kind of use

other bits of your budget for less, you know you need to prioritise, don't try

and do everything because you just won't do anything well.

Merry Christmas!

Okay. Well, I love Christmas, because it is a time when all my family get

together to celebrate. The celebrations begin at the end of November, when in my

town the lights are switched on at the Town Hall,

and all the shops are hung with little Christmas trees and decorations,

and there is a Christmas fair and street party where there is singing and dancing

and you can buy mince pies and warm mulled wine. At home we put up our

Christmas tree at the beginning of December. And this is quite typical in

the UK.

Although some people wait until the middle of December, because the Christmas

trees lose their leaves if you put them up too early. But we have got a plastic

Christmas tree this year and it went upon the 3rd of December. We also hang

stockings, long socks, from the fireplace, because according to tradition Father

Christmas flies around the world on Christmas Eve delivering presents to

all the children. And he comes down the chimney and leaves chocolates, fruits, and

toys in the stocking. So my son puts a glass of sherry and a mince pie on the

table for Father Christmas and also a carrot for Santa's reindeer.

On the day after Christmas it is a public holiday.

It's called Boxing Day. And in Victorian times people were given... the servants

were given a day off.

Because on Christmas Day, the 25th, they had to work. They had to help their

masters celebrate Christmas. So on Boxing Day they were given a box, and in the box

there might be some money, a Christmas bonus, presents, and maybe left over food.

In my family on Boxing Day we go for a long walk in the countryside

and burn off all the Christmas calories.

We call him father Christmas in the UK, and in the USA they usually call him

Santa Claus. But it's the same person.

Father Frost in Russia comes I believe on New Year's Eve. Whereas Father Christmas

doesn't come to the children on New Year's Eve. On New Year's Eve we don't

have such a big celebration. We usually have a party, maybe meet up with friends

at somebody's house, maybe go out to a pub for the evening, but we don't give

gifts usually on New Year's Eve. I think if the Russians want to describe what

they eat during these holidays they will use several salads: Olivye...

We call it Russian salad in my family. Olivye is a potato salad, isn't it?

So we call it a Russian potato salad. And "vinegret"... And this is a salad with

beetroot. But we don't have really had this salad. My sister calls this

Russian salad, as well. We don't really have this salad.

The Christmas dinner is really the final event. And for some people

it may be one or two o'clock in the afternoon. For some people it may be in

the evening or in mid-afternoon. Different families celebrate in

different ways.

Mince pies are a small pie. We eat them a Christmas. And inside there is a mixture

of raisins and sugar. So we call it mincemeat, but it isn't meat. It is fruit.

Mulled wine is warm wine with spices. And I think you have it in Russia, too.

I think people drink more on New Year's Eve. New Year's Eve... if there's a party

they drink a lot. Because it's a family day. Again it maybe depends on the family.

Some families do drink quite a lot. They drink with the meal wine with the meal.

They might have champagne with the meal or a fizzy wine. Some families may

continue to drink into the afternoon. I think it's very individual to each

family. They do probably drink more than usual, yes.

After the meal we open our presents. So they wait until

lunchtime, till after lunch. And then after lunch we've opened the presents,

then we play games, we chat. The elderly relatives sleep in a chair. And the day

slowly winds to a close.

So this year I went to a Christmas carol service in a little village church at

the weekend. And carol services are held in churches, in marketplaces, and town

centers throughout December. So what is a carol? It's a Christmas song. Usually it's

a song, the Christmas story about the birth of Jesus.

And when I was a child, my family would join with lots of other families and

walk around the village singing outside people's houses. And the old ladies would

open their doors and invite us in, give us a hot drink and a mince pie, and then

we would go to the next house and sing outside their house. Is there still a

tradition to send greeting cards. Well, this is a very important tradition.

English people consider it very important to send a card. And they

usually write to and the name of the person, from, and your name. Nothing else

is in it. It's a card with a Christmas picture on it. And we give them to

everybody, so to your children's teachers, to your neighbors, to all your friends, to

all your relatives. It doesn't matter if you will see them or you won't see them.

We send them in the post. We deliver them by hand. We send out hundreds of

Christmas cards at Christmas.

Today, we are coming with tulips

As you all know Tulips have been in Amsterdam for a very long time.

We are more famously known for our tulips .

so tulips are bulbs and this season

we are planting tulips

and we are planting other bulbs too and

in order for you to

plant your tulips or other bulbs you need to buy them first

so head out to that store

buy those tulips and start planting

because today we are going to go

through what to look for when buying your bulbs.

so before you start planting

your bulbs think about how do I see my bulbs sprayed during the spring season

so what I think about is what color do I want my garden to be in spring

so I buy those tulips that are white pink

cream with all the leaves that come with it so

the leaves are always green as you can see

but sometimes we all do not get the colors we want

but what you need to do is find the color that you think will

be in harmony with all the colors you have in your garden

by the way all bulbs do not bloom the same time

so look at the packet of your bulbs find out what

category of your tulips you buy

and then what color and then what month they bloom

because if you know the month they bloom

then you'll be able to plant them accordingly so that

you have a whole range of blooms every

month or every week

so what I do is I buy bulbs that

are blooming from March April May June July

however the ones I bought today are

blooming in May

but they're all of different sizes

don't forget they all

come in different heights

so sometimes you're like oh I want my tulips to be 45

centimeters you can sometimes

say I want them to be

20 centimeters I want them to be 10 centimeters

and those are the short ones so

in case you want your tulips to be short

then buy the short version

look at what the length is

they can't still look the same but they're also the

differing in the height

so what I do when I buy my box I always buy different

sizes so that in my garden I can say okay this is short

I put the short ones and the front and I put the long ones behind

so that the

short ones are not overcrowded by the long ones

so before you buy your bulbs

look at the package

look at the color fast

I think the color is what attracts

you the photo look like and if you choose a good photo and

you think like oh I want to have pink tulips

yeah I want to have pink tulips in my

garden or have purple tulips in my garden

I want to have white tulips in my garden

go for that but look at the height

look at the height of those tools and by

the way look at when they are going to bloom

because these bulbs do not bloom

the same season you know

they're in the same season its all spring

but some of them bloom in march

some of them bloom in February

some of them bloom in April and May

so you need to buy different bulbs that bloom through different seasons

so if you buy bulbs blooming in May you have to be waiting

for your bulbs to be blooming in May

do not expect to have any bulbs in February in your garden

if you bought bulbs that bloom in May

however you have some foliage

you have some foliage and those lives really look good in your garden

you don't have any flowers yet but they look great

but you will have your flowers in May

however if you're waiting I'm thinking

oh but it's already December Aciero

oh I can't plant my tulips

yes you can

you can still plant your tulips

you can still plant other bulbs

you just have to keep them long enough in that ground

so that they have enough nutrients for them

to get that energy to come out in spring

however before you do that you need to get them and

you need to start that digging

On one side is the toys And the other contains the chocolate

And look at it... it looks so scrumptious

Still barely alive in the playoff race with just three games remaining on the schedule, the 7-6 Detroit Lions host the 4-9 Chicago Bears on Saturday night.

It's a must-win game for Detroit, who narrowly disposed of Chicago, 27-24, when these teams met at Soldier Field a month ago.

Kickoff is scheduled for Saturday–yes, Saturday–at 4:30 p.m.

The job is simple for Detroit: Win out.

The Lions are likely going to need a little bit of help along way, but if they lose any of their last three games, they are all but out of the playoff picture.

According to FiveThirtyEight's forecast, Detroit's playoff odds rise to 56 percent if they win the next three, while any defeat along the way drops them to right around one percent.

This one, in theory, should be the easiest of the bunch.

It's at home, and it's against a four-win team they already beat on the road.

Still, the Bears played Detroit close in that game–the Lions needed a late field goal to win–and come in playing some good football after having crushed the Bengals on the road last week.

Though the Lions are favored by six points, head coach Jim Caldwell isn't taking anything for granted.

"You look at the performance they had last week, they're hitting their stride," Caldwell said.

"They're running the ball extremely well.

They ran for 222 yards against us.

And (Bears rookie Mitch Trubisky) is also throwing the ball well.

The record means nothing in this league.".

Even though Trubisky is coming off his best two-game stretch of the season, the Bears are still likely to lean on Jordan Howard and the running game.

Not only was it extremely successful when these teams played in November, but having success on the ground is a good way to help control possession and keep a Lions offense that has averaged 270 points per game over the last six off the field.

And the fact that Detroit ranks 28th in Football Outsiders' run defense rankings only strengthens the validity of that strategy.

The Lions, with their backs against the proverbial wall, should ultimately prevail, but this one may ultimately turn out to be a lot closer than expected.
