The 3rd Conditional EASILY EXPLAINED | English Grammar Lesson - Duration: 6:45.

If I had taken my medicine, I would not have felt sick.

If I had studied for the test, I would have gotten a good grade.

If I had taught a different lesson, then you would have learned something else.

And not the 3rd conditional, which is what we're going to talk about coming right up.

Welcome to today's lesson which is all about the 3rd conditional.

We're going to talk about the 3rd conditional.

And we are also going to practice -

PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE - the 3rd conditional.

And I'm going to tell you how to use it, and when

to use it, and well...why we use it.

Which is where I want to begin.

So, why do we even use the 3rd conditional?

Well, we use it to talk about the past.

And it is an unreal situation because it did not happen.

We cannot change the past, so this is not possible.

And we're basically just thinking about some event

or situation, and we're imagining how things would have been different.

Now remember, when we're talking about conditionals these are "if" statements.

And they're made up of two parts, which is a condition and a result.

The condition, which is our "if" clause, is going to have a subject and a verb.

And in this case, with the 3rd conditional, the condition

is talking about the event that we're thinking about in the past.

So for example, I could say...

Now look at the grammar here.

In this clause, in our "if" statement, we are going

to use the past perfect.

As I said before, this is an unreal situation

because...well...Do I have a car?

No.

I'm just thinking about this situation.

If I had a car...

Now, what would be the result if I had a car.

I could say...

Now pay attention to the grammar in this clause as well.

It also has a subject and a verb, but the grammar

that we're going to use is: would + have + the past participle.

Now my subject is "I" and the verb is "take," but the past participle of take is "taken."

So I would say...

That is what I'm imagining would have happened.

So when we're using the 3rd conditional, we're going to follow this structure.

Did I buy a car?

No.

Did I take a road trip?

No.

This is what I would have done if I had bought a car.

But...I didn't buy a car, so I didn't take a road trip.

It didn't happen.

Let's look at a few more examples.

And for these I will give you the condition first and then the result.

And please, please, please, please pay close attention to the grammar that were using.

So again, this is an unreal situation because

well we did feed the squirrels, and they don't look hungry.

Again, this is a situation that did not happen

because he did not type his essay yesterday.

But we didn't see a shark.

It didn't happen.

And we're just imagining, well...What would have happened?

Now keep in mind the punctuation.

If the condition comes before the result then we need a

comma to separate the two clauses.

But if we switch these, and the result comes before

the condition, then there is no comma needed.

Let's see some more examples on how the

3rd conditional is used in different situations.

Now are you ready for the big moment?

Because it is time to practice using the 3rd conditional.

So what I want you to do is practice using the 3rd conditional in the comments.

And I want you to give us an example from your life.

So think about your life.

Think about an event in the past that did not happen.

Now think, if it had happened, what would have been the result.

So I want you to write us a sentence using the 3rd conditional.

And you can use this right here to help you out as a bit of a starting point.

And I would also encourage all of you to read

each other's comments because that gives you an idea

as to how we can use the 3rd conditional.

And, you know, help us learn a little bit about each other.

My name's Holly Taylor. I am profoundly deaf.

I lost my hearing when I was 4 years old when I contracted meningitis.

In 1987, I was Cochlear's first commercial pediatric recipient.

Growing up with the cochlear implant meant that, even though I was profoundly deaf,

I had all the same choices and all the same opportunities as any other child.

It has allowed me to attend normal schools.

It's allowed me to attend university.

It's allowed me to pursue a career that I chose.

Corporate law is very competitive,

it's very fast paced, it's very demanding.

I don't think that being a corporate lawyer would be possible without my implant.

It's allowed me to make the choices that I wanted to make

and live my life the way I wanted to live.

I haven't been restricted in any way by my deafness.

In fact, I don't even feel like I am deaf.

The quality of the sound that I hear is incredible.

I have a 5-month-old daughter

and I'm able to hear all the sounds that my daughter makes,

the most beautiful sounds.

And I can hear them with the cochlear implant.

And that, to me, is pretty amazing.

everybody welcome back to my channel so today's video is another high-end makeup

get started so this week's high-end of makeup reviews on the cargo

water-resistant blush in Bali um I did get this in my lower beauty box and is

this absolutely like rosy pink gorgeous blush shade it is so pretty it is just

it's got a slight amount of shimmer in it but we're gonna go ahead and just

give this go just have my regular blush brush I'm just gonna it doesn't pick up

on the brush beautifully I'm going to tap it off just like this

it is really really gorgeous it is very pigmented but it's not so overly

pigmented that you know if you do accidentally play too much I mean you

can you can work with it basically

it's so so pretty it's a really silky it blends beautifully and it just adds the

most beautiful flush to your face I do think you know I'm pretty pale I do

think you know up to you know a medium olive skin toned individual could use

this I do think if you did layer it up maybe someone with a darker skin coat

skin tone could use this it is an absolutely beautiful blush I have tried

to like the NARS orgasm and I have tried some Tarte waterproof blushes and like

little samples you know but I do think that this is just a beautiful formula it

is very water resistant you can definitely like get rained on stuff like

that and it's going to stay put it doesn't fade which is lovely it's just a

really really beautiful blush I do really really enjoy using it and you

know it's not like once it's applied you can't manipulate it a little bit too you

know blend it out a little bit more if you

did go a little too heavy you can still play with it a little and get it looking

that pretty and natural you can definitely like I said build it up if

you want more of a you know intense blush I'm going to go ahead and apply

just a little bit more to the actual apples of the cheeks just for a more you

know it is colder weather and so I do think you know you can get away with a

little bit of a heavier blush but it is just so so pretty

you know but with any cosmetic you definitely want to start gradually and

then you can just gently build it up but it is just really really beautiful it's

like that perfect rosy and from the cold blush color and it's just so so pretty I

do like that it has just a slight amount of shimmer and it's just more like an

iridescent I mean obviously I do have highlighter on but it just gives a

beautiful fresh do we look to the skin you don't even though I am a combination

skin tone sometimes matte blush can be too matte and it looks dry and cakey but

this is just absolutely beautiful I do love it but so if you are looking for

you know a higher-end blush I would definitely recommend trying the cargo

water-resistant and is just so so pretty and this will last you a really long

time you don't need a whole whole bunch to get a good color payoff it's just

really really beautiful but you guys thank you so much for watching this

Must Play Android games for 2018 , Upcoming Android games of 2018 - Duration: 6:20.

Hello guys welcome to the gamers point, Today we are gonna show you 10 must play upcoming

games of 2018, but before we dig in, make sure to hit that subscribe button, so you

never miss any future updates.

Number 10 on our list is, Payday Crime War . Payday is a great game and is finally coming

to android and ios devices.

Unlike the gameplay, from previous titles of the series, which revolves solely around

the operations of The Payday Gang.

Crime War lets the player experience gameplay, from the perspective of LawEnforcement.

Missions in Crime War are set in the same locales as the heists in PAYDAY 2, and pits

two teams of four players against each other, with one playing as the heisters, and the

other as the police.

On Number 9 we have Life Is Strange, which is a great, plus, an award-winning game that

allows the player to rewind time and affect the past, present and future.

In the game you will follow the story of Max Caulfield, a photography senior who discovers

she can rewind time while saving her best friend Chloe Price.

Life is strange is a beautifully written and a modern adventure game, with multiple endings

and superb sound tracks.

.Game has already launch for ios users but android version of the game will release on

early 2018.

On Number 8, we have Ocean Horn 2.

It is a sequel to the 2013 action RPG.

The game takes place in the same fantasy realm as the series' first installment.

Gameplay mechanics in Oceanhorn 2 are visibly inspired by the popular Legend of Zelda series.

The game places also more emphasis on exploration than the original game.

The game uses an arcade combat system and you can fight with different weapon like sword

or a pistol.

Ocean Horn 2 is expected to release on 2018 for android and other plaforms.

Number 7 is Grid Autosport , Grid is another great game that is releasing for android devices

in 2018.

Unlike other racing games such as asphalt 8 and real racing 3, grid is a premium game,

and that means there will be no in app purchases and only your driving skills will matter.

The touchscreen controls are nigh on perfect, and top notch graphics are worth of your every

single penny.

Game has huge amount of content, including 100 different circuits and 100 different cars

to drive.

Grid auto sport will launch by July 2018 on android.

On Number 6 is Paladins Strike, which is a top down view moba game, and mobile version

of Paladins.

In the game you will take part in dynamic team battles on fantastic arenas where you

will control a strong hero and win the battles.

In game you will team up with other players fight in 5 versus 5 battles.

You can select from 15 different characters, and help your team in defeating your opponents.

In game battles you will move across the map while destroying enemies, and capture enemy

bases to win.

Paladin strike is currently soft launched in Australia only.

Number 5 on the list is World of Final Fantasy Meri-Melo, which is monster training RPG and

had launched in Japan this december.

The game brings the chibi FF characters of World of Final Fantasy to mobile.

Game also features an online multiplayer that allows you to team up with friends in challenging

monster fights.

Similarly to the first game, you will be able to capture and control monsters by stacking

them, which can be levelled up and upgradable later in the game.

Developers havent confirmed it yet, but Meri Melo might release globally for mobiles in

2018.

On Number 4 we have Alto's Odyssey, which is the sequel of mega hit Alto's Adventure

game.

In this game you will travel across endless locations of an incredible world together

with Alto.

Help him overcome various obstacles on the way, while taking him through big sandy deserts,

and other beautiful locations, which will strike you with their unique beauty and atmosphere.

Game also has nice music which creates a special atmosphere during game play.

Game was planned to release this year, but has been delayed for unkown reasons.

Number 3 on the list is Marvel Strike Force, which is another upcoming action RPG for Android

and IOS Platforms.

Game has turn base battle system, and you can recruit different super Heroes and Super

Villains like Iron Man, Loki, or Venom in your team.

Game has huge number of characters to select, and all of them are fully upgradable.

Game is currently soft launched in few countries but it release date is set for 2018.

On Number 2 we have Aion Tempest , a game by NC Soft.

It is a prequel, and takes place 900 years before the latest Elyos & Asmodian war.

Game trailer looks remarkably similar to its predecessor, with gorgeous 3D visuals, action

packed combat, and large scale battles.

Mounts also made an appearance, alongside different race, and class options, presumably

available to you when you create a character.

Game release date is not announced yet, but hopefully it will release in 2018.

And finally on Number 1 is Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition, which is a scaled-down remake

of last year's Final Fantasy installment.

Pocket Edition uses the same storyline and voice acting from its big brother.

Over the course of 10 episodes, the mobile iteration will cover the same major moments

as Final Fantasy 15 on console, with a few changes to the gameplay and, obviously, the

visuals.

Game includes total 10 chapters, chapter 1 is for free, and rest can be purchased to

play game further.

So guys these were 10 upcoming games for android and ios devices that you should not miss.

The 3rd Conditional EASILY EXPLAINED | English Grammar Lesson - Duration: 6:45.

If I had taken my medicine, I would not have felt sick.

If I had studied for the test, I would have gotten a good grade.

If I had taught a different lesson, then you would have learned something else.

And not the 3rd conditional, which is what we're going to talk about coming right up.

Welcome to today's lesson which is all about the 3rd conditional.

We're going to talk about the 3rd conditional.

And we are also going to practice -

PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE - the 3rd conditional.

And I'm going to tell you how to use it, and when

to use it, and well...why we use it.

Which is where I want to begin.

So, why do we even use the 3rd conditional?

Well, we use it to talk about the past.

And it is an unreal situation because it did not happen.

We cannot change the past, so this is not possible.

And we're basically just thinking about some event

or situation, and we're imagining how things would have been different.

Now remember, when we're talking about conditionals these are "if" statements.

And they're made up of two parts, which is a condition and a result.

The condition, which is our "if" clause, is going to have a subject and a verb.

And in this case, with the 3rd conditional, the condition

is talking about the event that we're thinking about in the past.

So for example, I could say...

Now look at the grammar here.

In this clause, in our "if" statement, we are going

to use the past perfect.

As I said before, this is an unreal situation

because...well...Do I have a car?

No.

I'm just thinking about this situation.

If I had a car...

Now, what would be the result if I had a car.

I could say...

Now pay attention to the grammar in this clause as well.

It also has a subject and a verb, but the grammar

that we're going to use is: would + have + the past participle.

Now my subject is "I" and the verb is "take," but the past participle of take is "taken."

So I would say...

That is what I'm imagining would have happened.

So when we're using the 3rd conditional, we're going to follow this structure.

Did I buy a car?

No.

Did I take a road trip?

No.

This is what I would have done if I had bought a car.

But...I didn't buy a car, so I didn't take a road trip.

It didn't happen.

Let's look at a few more examples.

And for these I will give you the condition first and then the result.

And please, please, please, please pay close attention to the grammar that were using.

So again, this is an unreal situation because

well we did feed the squirrels, and they don't look hungry.

Again, this is a situation that did not happen

because he did not type his essay yesterday.

But we didn't see a shark.

It didn't happen.

And we're just imagining, well...What would have happened?

Now keep in mind the punctuation.

If the condition comes before the result then we need a

comma to separate the two clauses.

But if we switch these, and the result comes before

the condition, then there is no comma needed.

Let's see some more examples on how the

3rd conditional is used in different situations.

Now are you ready for the big moment?

Because it is time to practice using the 3rd conditional.

So what I want you to do is practice using the 3rd conditional in the comments.

And I want you to give us an example from your life.

So think about your life.

Think about an event in the past that did not happen.

Now think, if it had happened, what would have been the result.

So I want you to write us a sentence using the 3rd conditional.

And you can use this right here to help you out as a bit of a starting point.

And I would also encourage all of you to read

each other's comments because that gives you an idea

as to how we can use the 3rd conditional.
