One step too far...
Saelh-dia! Tvanai is delighted and honored to be your personal guard,
he will begin preparing very soon, right after he finishes a small hunt for me!
I am very grateful, thank you, sir! You have saved me much time! [that's what she actually says, it's not a mistranslation...]
Allow me to pay you back. I will teach you something from the art of saelh!
"I can learn:"
Slow - This skill lowers the speed of the character for three rounds and slightly lowers her or his Body Strength.
Healing Touch - The spell heals a part of the Health of the target, the amount being dependant on the caster's experience.
Dissipate - This spell cancels certain specific effects [it would be nice if we knew which ones...], which were cast on the target character.
Magical Vortex - The target of the spell will be heavily damaged, dependingly on how lower his Body Strength (!!) is versus the Will Power of the caster.
They all seem to be useful...
Wait ... I have Curse, which lowers the target's Body Strength to one third. So if I use this afterwards... and I need to train magic...
Go screw yourself, game!
Nothing new in their dialogues.
Catch a sweetwater crab - One of the ingredients to make the Brantani cure is the poison from a sweetwater crab.
Thanks to the offer from the native oracle a hunter will hunt down one of them for me, I just need to ask him!
Bring a dragon egg - The trial of Gods, which I was commisioned to do by the oracle,
comprises of bringing a dragon egg, from a dragon that inhabits the sanctuary at the beach.
When I get the egg, the oracle shall consider me being worthy of the secret of segenral.
Get segenral - One of the ingredients for the creation of the Brantani cure is the herb called segenral,
and the oracle of the native village will only allow me to get one if I am successful in the Trial of Gods!
The Ritual of Blood - A native-based ritual from the inhabitants of the village in Waben, and perhaps not just them...
The ritual is made by chaining the captured enemies to a torture totem and psychical torture.
The captives will then open their minds under the stress of pain,
and then they'll reveal all the secrets that they can otherwise hide.
The Ritual of Warding Evil Spirits - Saelh-dia mentioned a ritual to ward off evil spirits as an aspect of
protection of the villagers from evil powers, especially in the case of proceeding with the ritual of Blood,
after which the spirits of enemies tortured to death will raise and will surely seek revenge.
Saelh-dia - is the name given to the apprentice to the oracle.
Each oracle surely [not my choice of words, the game's vocabulary is quite limited I'm afraid] uptightingly guards whom shall take the reign of the village,
and when her time is out, for that very reason, she raises a young girl,
which she progressively teaches all the secrets of power and ruling over the thoughts.
Saelhe - By this term it seems like the natives call their ruler, the oracle.
The oracle is a woman that has a deciding say about every major event inside the native village,
and she rules over her people by using telepathic powers.
The kodex has two pages now.
Almost no new information was given.
One last time, just in the case of there being an additional dialogue.
Nothing new, as expected.
I would like to do another battle, actually.
Also today Kikoskia has released a replay of Stonekeep.
Stonekeep was the first Let's Play I have ever seen (almost ten years ago), and the series I've based my style after.
And just today (at the time of recording), he released the first few videos from a let's play of that series.
I highly recommend it.
The intro to Stonekeep is quite ugly however. (and it cost them 0.5 million dollars! xD)
There was a brief pause, so I guess some combat data were loaded.
I am correct. Also there is quite a framerate drop in these caves.
Actually I have read something about that bug on the internet (people having problems with it), but I cannot remember what was all that about.
Also it would be nice if the game told me how much Body Strength / Will Power the given ability expends...
Well, he's trying to make me pregnant or something.
By the way, the curse is a combat skill, not a spell. Go figure.
I can use this combat to train my magical abilities. (Will Power)
Looks like casting the nonspell curse lowered my Strength just enough for him to damage me,
but my Strength regenerated that bit afterwards so that I would be over his Strength once again.
Strength +1 Will Power +4 Health +2
I've got an interesting idea on how to train Will Power. ... let's switch weapons!
Minus speed is a bad idea. Very bad. xD
Because the artefact sword has -12 to will power, and if I want to defeat enemies by magic alone,...
The area is named: "The Lair of Croati"
