I am involved in this project because of my friendship with

Alessandro e alessandra, and I am happy to mention this. My friends do things that

are weird and interesting. This is something that help me in my job.

Domus Libertas is a precise reconstruction in which experts and scholars

give their contribution to make this place both livable and as accurate as possible.

This is an extraordinary thing: not usual

or common, certainly not something you see every day.

A dream of a lifetime

which has finally grown, became true,

and develeped into something tangible.

This is in my opinion an incredible experience to behold.

When they told me about the Domus Libertas project,

this idea they nurtured for many years,

they asked me to join because they believed that the project was an opportunity

to get people interested in history.

Not just rebuild a piece of Ancient Rome, but also bring it to the general public.

Another important element of the project was

the educational impact, which is my filed of work. My job is to bring science and

culture to student, and so I think - and hope - I can give my contribution

to this project, spreading the passion and the knowledge

from the Domus to whom can most benefit from it.

With educational courses, hans-on activities, conferences and events for the

general public. To get all of society and

institution involved in a project that gives us the opportunity to bring alive a piece of our history.

so today! tadaa I bought these things called Cinnabon

I'm not saying cinnamon I'm actually saying cinna'BON' I knew about this brand from way back

But have yet to eat anything from them So this will be my first time trying cinnabon

Cinnabon is apparently pretty well known. even I've heard of them

Alrighty lets open these up

tadaa they're rather huge aren't they

At first glance they're very bread like And what I bought today are:

6 cinnabon classic. 2 caramel pecan'bon' 3 mini choco'bon'

Cinnabon is super delish when you warm them up but.....

Even with their takeout items are apparently yummy when you warm them in the microwave

and so I'll go warm them up just look at how much sauce is on these

K, I've gone and warmed two of these up

they've gotten so fluffy

Let's try cutting into these

They kind of remind me of a cinnamon roll.....

They look like this inside the sauce that's covering them looks so amazingly delish

So nice and hot after warming them up

With all this sauce that is covering them They are super delish

The bread has a bit of a chew to it

It's drenched in this very sweet buttery with a hint of cinnamon.... its so yummy

All the sauces melted by the Heat Which mixes in with a dough making it so yummy

Since it's so sweet it goes so perfectly with coffee

I feel as though this individual roll would pack quite a lot of calories

Next up chocolate

It's so melted and gooey I just can't help myself

The sauce that's on here is a cream cheese based sauce That goes so perfectly with a chocolate on here

For those of you who don't like cinnamon I think this chocolate one might be your thing

its so hot and the melted chocolate sauce that is on here is the 'bestest' stuff ever

Since they slathered so much sauce on here you can have as much sauce as you want

Next up is caramel pecan'bon'

After warming them up it got super melty making them look even more scrumptious

With all of them having that 'bon' in their name it kinda makes them sound like names of characters

Cinnabon 'I Gotchu' (this might be alluding to some saying in a manga)

alrighty lets eat

They really went all out with a pecans on here so fancy

The cream cheese sauce has a slight caramel flavor to it

Now that we've warmed them up these pecans taste so yummy

These pecans are so huge and very crunchy

the sugary parts are hot

this caramel pecan'bon' totally has a pokemon-like name to it.... kids would totally love these

perhaps they'll be in the next generation of pokemon to come

If you don't warm these up there very.... umm.... solid or very hard like this

Definitely way better after warming them up

Only four cinnabon remain

I just can't get enough of the hot cream cheese sauce

DUG Insight How-To: Creating Velocities (Vertical Merging) - Duration: 4:19.

The volume Merge process vertically combines two volumes at a specified boundary.

The output volume consists of the Top Volume above the horizon, and the Bottom Volume below the horizon.

Volume merge can be used to splice together velocity volumes created by different processes.

In this example, I have 2 velocity volumes.

The first volume is made from well checkshots

but the Time Depth curves all start deep in the section

creating a constant and blocky shallow section.

The second volume is a velocity V0-k model

and shows smooth lateral and vertical velocity changes in the upper layer.

I will combine these volumes to get the best features of both models.

To ensure that I maintain the well tie, I will merge the data using average instead of interval velocity.

Using the volume Conversion process, select the input checkshot interval velocity

and change the output to average Velocity.

Display the checkshot average velocity to check the results.

Select a new volume Conversion process, select the input V0-k interval velocity volume

Change the output to average Velocity

Display the V0-k average velocity volume to check the results.

So far so good. Both these volumes look as expected.

Select the volume merge process.

Select the average V0-k velocity in the Top volume.

Select the average checkshot velocity in the bottom volume.

Select the boundary - this could be a constant, but in this case is a horizon.

The velocity has been carefully conditioned to ensure consistency at the boundary

and so a ramp is not required in this case.

Both volumes must be aligned for this process to work.

This means the same survey type; 2D or 3D, and the same sample interval in X, Y, and Z.

Insight makes these edits easy, but as always check the results for accuracy and consistency!

The average velocity does not show much visible difference

and so convert the average merged volume back to interval velocity.

The model looks good as interval velocity

and by merging using average velocities the wells will still tie. Good job!

Some models cannot be reasonably merged without introducing a depth shift or extreme interval velocities.

Here is an example where the shallow layer is now derived from a synthetic linear velocity model that initially looks quite reasonable.

After converting to average velocity and merging, the model still looks fine

until we convert back to Interval velocity.

In order to create continuity between the upper and lower volumes

a high velocity value has been introduced at the boundary event.

Insight recognises this as unusual and immediately throws a warning.

Visually the bright event can be seen in the section view along the merge boundary.

A quick fix for this would be to gradually blend the velocity over a window using the ramp function.

The process applies a linear ramp from half the ramp distance above the merge point to half the distance below.

For such a high value, the window needs to be quite large

but it can be offset so that it only affects one of the layers instead of both.

Carefully conditioned input data will always give the best results

but even with mismatching input data such as this

Insight provides the tools to quickly identify and correct issues.

Easy Biscuits Recipe (Egg free) - Duration: 3:47.

Hey guys today I'm gonna make some really easy biscuits, and to start I'm

going to mix in my dry ingredients. Here I have some all-purpose flour and to

that I'm going to add some sugar some baking powder and some salt.

So, once you have your dry ingredients combined you're going to add in your butter and

traditionally with a biscuit or scone dough you would cut your butter into

little cubes and rub it in with your hands but in this version I've just

frozen my stick of butter and then I've grated it with a box grater so you don't

need to rub in the butter you just add it in, fold it in, and add your wet ingredients.

So, I'll add in my butter.

Once you add in your butter just toss

it around to coat the pieces really well and once your make sure it looks like a

crumble and the butter is really well coated you can add in your half and half.

So half and a half is basically just half cream half milk and I need one cup

so I'm going to do half a cup of milk and half a cup of cream.

And once you add in your wet ingredients just really gently fold everything until you get a

rough dough you don't want to overwork this otherwise you'll come up with a

tough and dry dough.

All right so my dough has just come together now I'm going to put my dough

on a lightly floured surface.

So once you have your dough on your surface just pat it out to about 3/4 of an inch

of height into a square or rectangle.

Usually biscuits are cut with a circular cutter but I'm just gonna cut them into squares

to get rid of the need to re-roll and recut.

So it should be fairly easy if you

add just a little bit of flour the dough shouldn't be too sticky, and you can give

it some straighter angles with your knife.

So I'm gonna cut this into 16 you can do slightly larger or slightly smaller and if your knife gets

too much dough you can just cover it in a little bit of flour and it won't stick this way.

So you can bake this dough straight away but I'm going to store it

in the freezer and bake it when I need it for my next meal and to bake it from

the freezer you don't need to defrost you just add an additional one or two

minutes at the baking time and these need to bake at 200 degrees Celsius

which is 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 to 22 minutes and before you

stick them in the oven just brush them with one beaten egg and it will give it a nice shiny look.

So I'll get these in the freezer and I'll show you some that I have that are already baked.

Alright so these are what some baked ones look like

and as you can see they're just very lightly golden on the top and you can

still see some pale parts in the cracks and it's really important to take them

out of the oven at this point because they'll continue to cook a little bit on

the tray and that way you'll be left with a really nice moist and fluffy biscuit.
