Gov't unveils plans to support innovative growth over next five years - Duration: 1:58.

In addition to trade, the ministry also submitted its plans to support innovative growth over

the next five years.

It believes supporting Korea's small and mid-sized firms during the transition to the Fourth

Industrial Revolution will enable companies to create hundreds of thousands of jobs in

the years to come.

Kim Ji-yeon reports.

In a report to the National Assembly's Committee on Trade, Industry, Energy, SMEs, and Startups

on Monday... the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy unveiled plans to support innovation

by supporting new industries, small and medium sized companies and industries in provincial

areas for balanced growth.

Through the industrial policy reforms that focus on innovative growth, it's aiming to

create more than 300-thousand jobs by 2022.

For the creation of new industries, it has selected five main sectors for support which

includes future mobility, superconnectivity, renewable energy, increasing lifespans in

our fast aging society and the so-called "Fourth Industrial Revolution."

The ministry says it aims to make it possible for autonomous vehicles to operate on expressways

by 2020... and increase the number of electric vehicles to 350-thousand by 2022.

It will also establish a 275-million U.S. dollar fund to increase investment related

to the Fourth Industrial Revolution... such as smart home appliances that incorporate

Internet-of-Things technology.

The ministry says it'll increase the number of medium sized IT companies in Korea and

boost the number of innovative clusters and tech convergence districts to 15 by 2022.

The ministry plans to unveil detailed measures by sector during the first three months of

next year.

Liverpool look ready to embark on another difficult pursuit of Southampton defender

Virgil van Dijk when the January transfer window opens.

The Reds are expected to reignite their interest in the Dutchman having failed miserably in

their efforts to acquire his services during the summer.

After becoming subject to a complaint against an alleged illegal approach for the centre-back,

the club was forced to publicly apologise and consequently saw their hopes of dealing

with Southampton dashed.

President Mike Gordon has since been working behind-the-scenes with Saints chairman Ralph

Krueger to repair the relationship between the two clubs,

presumably in the hope of reaching a position where another attempt to sign Van Dijk would

be acceptable.

Liverpool undoubtedly remain interested, but will only launch a January move for the 26-year-old

if Southampton lower their £70million asking price, reports the Independent's Kevin Palmer.

The first half of the season, regardless of the team's emphatic attacking power, has

served as overwhelming proof of the desperate need for defensive reinforcements.

Between Joel Matip's regular short-term injury absences, to Dejan Lovren's familiar

failure to convince and Klopp's reluctance to deploy Joe Gomez as a centre-back,

Liverpool have struggled for reliability, consistency and rhythm at the heart of the

defence.

Though Van Dijk himself hasn't been at his best so far this season, there's no doubting

that he improves Klopp's back four.

Rumoured interest in West Brom's on-loan defender Ahmed Hegazi also, however, hints

that Liverpool are wisely eyeing up alternatives.

Regardless of Liverpool's form, regardless of their league position heading into January,

Klopp needs to strengthen his defence.

The final season of Game of Thrones probably wont air until 2019, but the cast is already divulging little tidbits about it.

Heres everything the cast has said about Season 8 so far.

1. Kit Harington

It's a lot of—it's just bigger than it's ever been! It is sinking in.

It's just quite emotional, he told Time.

I don't know how I'm going to feel sometime next year when I've finished.

It's quite a sudden shift, I guess, but it feels like the right time..

2. Sophie Turner

Its definitely more epic this season, for sure.

It grows and grows and grows.

There are bigger and more fantastical elements, which have always been underlying throughout, but this time, its really emerging and there are very big roles this season," she told The Hollywood Reporter.

3. Jason Momoa

"I think what we used to call Episode 9 in 'Game of Thrones' folklore — the episode when everything comes to a head and you get a lot of spectacular sequences — I think you're gonna get six 'Episode 9s' this year," Bradley told The Huffington Post.

"You can tell that because we've got directors who have been in charge of some of the most huge setpieces in the past doing episodes all throughout the season.".

5. Liam Cunningham

The episodes are definitely going to be bigger and what I hear is longer.

World's largest exchange CME launches Bitcoin futures trading - Duration: 2:16.

Bitcoin received another big boost on Sunday after the Chicago Mercantile Exchange began

futures trading for the virtual currency.

The move comes a week after the Chicago Board Options Exchange introduced similar Bitcoin

derivatives.

Park Ji-won has more.

The world's largest derivatives exchange,... the Chicago Mercantile Exchange began bitcoin

futures trading from Sunday.

The launch of futures trading on the CME comes a week after the Chicago Board Options Exchange,

or CBOE, became the first established financial market to offer futures trading for bitcoin.

Analysts say the virtual currency's entry into the Chicago Mercantile Exchange could

push its price higher,... as the CME is a much bigger exchange than the CBOE,... handling

55 times the CBOE's volume during the January to September period this year.

"It's the only legitimized asset to us being at the exchange because it now offers people

a more traditional way to invest.

It also may indicate to people that this really is the kind of asset that you'd want to have

some percentage of your portfolio or your wealth diversified into."

The market opened at 8AM, Korea time.

Hoping to guard against wild price swings, the CME will hit pause on trading if prices

fluctuate by more than the CME's set limits.

Despite some measures to protect investors,... skepticism over the cryptocurrency continues,

with Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen warning of the dangers of the virtual currency last

week.

"Bitcoin, at this time, plays a very small role in the payments system.

It is not a stable source a store of value, and it doesn't constitute legal tender.

It is a highly speculative asset."

Bitcoin was invented in 2008 by a person or group calling themselves Satoshi Nakamoto,

and the identity of the mysterious inventor is still not yet known.

Winter Sports Boom in Korea - Duration: 4:12.

The PyeongChang 2018 Olympics are less than 100 days away.

On the brink of this grand, global sports festival, the public's interest in winter

sports is also rising.

Now we zoom in on the passion and anticipation of the upcoming winter Olympics displayed

on the ice.

This is an indoor ice link in Gyeonggi-do Province.

Since its opening in 2003, this link has been a great spot for locals to spend their leisure

time.

On one side of the rink, some young skaters are practicing marching in place wearing protective

gear and skates.

This class is run by the Korea Skating Union to support and encourage the sports activities

of adolescents.

In the class, the students get to learn the basics of skating for two hours daily for

four weeks.

Their passion is burning as the Olympics are approaching.

(Korean) "We're running short courses on some 20

ice rinks across the country, and the public's interest is increasing with the Olympics approaching."

The students are skating on the ice...

Though they are just beginners, they seem to be fully mesmerized by skating.

(Korean) "As a beginner, I suffered from foot pain

and had a hard time learning how to walk in skates.

Nevertheless, learning something with new people is fun."

(Korean) "It's hard to keep my balance on ice, but

it's really fun, not to mention beautiful.

That's why I love skating."

The number of winter sports clubs is increasing at the same time.

As of the end of 2017, there were a total of 743 winter sports club registered in the

Korean Sport and Olympic Committee with nearly 30,000 members.

A considerable number of the members join the clubs in anticipation for the PyeongChang

2018 Olympics.

All the figure skating clubs have seen a drastic increase in membership from 5 years ago, thanks

to the Korean figure skating queen Kim Yuna.

Hwang Il-hae and Kim Mi-yang ( & ) fell into ice dancing after turning 40.

Some 40 members of the gathering borrow an ice rink to practice three times a month.

(Korean) "I began ice dancing because it offered a

much more amusing way of enjoying skating with music and dance."

(Korean) "It's very refreshing to sweat in the cold.

It's a seasonal trait of winter."

Every year, an average of 50,000 people visit ski slopes, and there are as many as 480 skiing

clubs across the country.

The challenge is winter is short, and most ski slopes are located in the countryside,

making it hard for people to enjoy skiing frequently.

Some places incorporate virtual reality into skiing to attract skiers.

Standing on the simulator in ski boots, the speed and thrill of skiing can be experienced.

(Korean) "I'm skiing indoors today, but it doesn't

feel much different from ordinary, outdoor skiing and is a very good exercise.

It's great."

This place also displays the immense interest in the upcoming Olympics.

Here visitors can ride the Olympic courses, including the downhill, the slalom, and the

giant slalom.

Allowing people to ski all season, these sites are creating a new way of spending leisure

time.

(Korean) "Many aspiring athletes come to ski here,

and ski club members also come to this place after work on weekdays to quench their thirst

for skiing and snowboarding."

Short winter and lack of facilities have long been a major challenge for Korean winter sports.

With all the efforts made for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics, it looks like winter sports

in Korea will undergo major change... for the better of course.

Today I'm going to talk about some eyeshadow palettes that are freaking amazing for brown/pakistani/tan/indian/latina complexions!

This palette that I'm wearing is the Too Faced Just Peachy mattes.

This has all the matte shades you need especially if you're not about that glitter/shine life and need some good quality mattes.

You should totally grab this ASAP because it looks super amazing.

These are the shades. You get 12 of them. (PS I counted).

I love this palette and the shade range is wicked.

They look bomb on our skintone and blend with ease.

Here are the brushes I used. Not expensive at all. Bdellium Tools, BH Cosmetics, Ebay is where it's at :P

You can use any brush really. No need to be picky because these shadows are a dream.

Now I'm going to discuss the next palette: my second fave.

This is the Urban Decay Moondust Palette. It is indeed still available at Sephora.

This palette is 49 dollars Canadian. You get 8 shades.

These are glittery shades. You can use a glitter glue if you prefer.

Sometimes when you use a regular primer glitter falls on your cheeks and you're not impressed so just use the glitter glue.

If you don't want to be bummed out with the fallout use glitter glue or just do what I did and use Urban Decay primer potion.

My absolute fave shade is Lithium. Using it on top of deeper shades like a black makes it pop.

I like the packaging.

It's a travel friendly and sturdy palette.

Here's my third favourite (favourite and not favorite because I'm Canadian eh).

First off look at the pretty packaging!

I also love love the shades in here because it's so good on our skintone!

Amazing for deeper skintones as well! Suitable for anyone really.

You get 12 amazing shadows.

The quality is good. It's made in the USA.

Lots of palettes are made in China and sometimes the quality is lacking, but not all the time so swatching is the best way to tell what's good and what's not.

You can try a brush swatch. Even ask a makeup artist at Sephora or wherever you are so you can check out the performance of the shadow for yourself and do a wear test.

The best way to tell if a shade is pigmented is to check on your hand with a brush and/or finger swatch and check on the back of your hand or wrist.

The wrist works for me because my eyelids are a similar shade.

Don't be shy. Just ask an artist for a brush or just go for it with your fingers to checkout the product prior to purchasing.

This is chocolate scented. So do be aware of that. You might like it or you might not and be allergic. Do a patch test always.

You should always check the ingredients to see if something is okay for you and your skin etc..

If you do a patch test just go in Sephora and swatch some makeup and go for a walk through the mall. That should give your skin some time to react (or not) so you know whether to purchase or not.

My fourth fave palette is the ABH MR palette.

Super pretty once again for our skintone. So easy to wear with different cultural/Western outfits. Great for party looks or everyday.

You get 14 shades. Once again, I'm good at counting what can I say x_x

Some nice dark shades and some neutrals.

If you're wearing a Punjabi Suit and don't want your face to be drowned out LOL this is a good palette!

Tenu suit suit karda. K I'm playing. I never said that.

This palette blends like a dream.

The difference is that her sister is still in school so she knows it both ways whereas Brielle stuck with the original lesson.

The weird fun fact was revealed when she sat down with TooFab to talk about her future plans to move out and if she would be interested in becoming a part of the "Real Housewives" franchise.

If you've been keeping up with "Don't Be Tardy," you'd know that Kim Zolciak's oldest child revealed her plans to move out with her baseball player boyfriend on a recent episode.

Now that some time has passed, Brielle has had a change in plans.

Biermann will instead move out around her 21st birthday and live by herself for six months to a year before setting up house with Michael.

"Me and Michael have both agreed that it would be best for me to live on my own for six months to a year to gain some independence and figure out the world on my own.
