Challenge - FINISH MY CARD ft Scrapbook by Tamy - Duration: 9:02.

Hi! I'm Susana from Pink&Fun's blog

and today I'm here with a collaboration with Tamy

from "Scrapbook by Tamy"

She invited me to a challenge called "Finish my Card"

that was created by her and by Debora from Screpando

and consists in making two cards

using the material we swap

This is the kit that Tamy sent me

and I'll show you quickly everything

I also sent her a kit with stuff for her 2 cards

so do not forget to visit her channel to see

This is one card blank

and this the other

I'm choosing the papers that I think I can use in each

but of course I'll change everything

To make the first card

I decided to use this embossed cardstock

To highlight and give it some color,

I will use these two inks

and an acrylic block

those that we normally use with stamps

I'll put some ink,

spray with water

and apply to the cardstock

To apply the second ink,

I want the cardstock completely dry

then, to be faster

I will use the heat gun

And I'll do the same thing with the other ink

And now, I will embellish

Finally, I will paste the panel to the card blank

using 3D foam tape

The first card is ready, it's time to go to the other

I don't know what papers I want to use

but finally I make up my mind :)

So I decided to use this one with foiled dots

to attach to the card blank

so I will trim it 8 mm smaller than the card blank

because I want a border

like this...

I also trim some strips with 3 cm each

from 2 different scrapbooking papers

Now, I will use this border punch,

to punch one side of all strips

and I will stick them all, one above the other

I think I will not need this one,

but I want a small strip to paste above for a nice finishing

I will cut the excess

and raise the lace to give a 3D look

As sentiment, I will use this card

but as it needs some highlight,

I will also use the brown paper

to attach behind

I'll paste the panel to the card blank

and apply the card using 3D foam tape

A few more things to embellish

and it's ready!

How to make fava bean and potato purée - Duration: 3:29.

Hello everyone.

Let's see how to prepare fava bean and potato purée.

Soak the fava beans overnight.

Once they look like this, peel them.

You can purchase peeled fava beans but I prefer to peel them myself.

Now peel/cut the potatoes and boil them with the fava beans.

This is the result after 10 minutes in the pressure cooker.

This purée goes well with fried bell peppers, raw onions, tomato salad and olives.

Pour a drizzle of olive oil.

You can optionally serve it with chili sauce, cooked mushrooms and fried pumpkin.

Hibernate Tip: How to map native query results to a POJO - Duration: 2:58.

Hi,

I'm Thorben Janssen from thoughts-on-java.org with a new Hibernate Tip.

This time, I want to show you how you can tell Hibernate to map the result of a native SQL query

to a POJO.

Native queries return a List of Object arrays.

Most developers implement 2 nested loops to iterate through the List

and the elements of the array.

That's OK but not the only approach.

JPA supports SqlResultSetMappings

which you can use to map the query result.

You can see such a mapping definition here.

The ConstructorResult annotation defines

a constructor call of the BookValue class.

The ColumnResult annotations define how the columns of the result

shall be mapped to the parameters of the constructor.

In this example,

Hibernate will perform a constructor call

with the value of the title column

as the first

and the value of the date column as the second parameter.

You can provide the name of the SqlResultSetMapping as

the second parameter to the createNativeQuery method.

I do that here.

Hibernate will then apply the mapping to the query result

and return a List of BookValue objects.

You can use it this mapping with all results that return at least

the parameters defined by the ColumnResult annotations.

As you can see here, the SqlResultSetMapping

didn't change the SQL statement.

Hibernate executes the native query

and then applies the mapping to the retrieved result.

in critical condition... after having surgery to treat the five gunshot wounds he suffered

while crossing the Joint Security Area.

The surgeon treating him said he found parasites in the patient's intestines,... showing the

poor health of North Korea's soldiers.

The North Korean soldier who defected to South Korea on Monday is still in critical condition,...

although the bullets have now all been removed from his body after two major surgeries.

The second three-hour-long surgery focused on removing damaged tissues, along with the

last remaining bullet.

Surgeon Lee Guk-jong, who led the two operations held a briefing,... saying the recovery won't

be easy,... especially given that large numbers of parasites were found in the soldier's small

intestine,... infecting the wounded organs.

The parasites, including a 27-centimeter-long round worm,... reflect the dire situations

that North Korean soldiers face.

(Korean) "In more than 20 years of my career as a surgeon,

I've only ever seen this amount of worms in textbooks, never seen among South Koreans."

Undigested food was also found inside the patient, mostly corns, showing the poor state

of nutrition in the North Korean military.

The surgeon said the soldier's condition has improved since his admission to hospital,...

Challenge - FINISH MY CARD ft Scrapbook by Tamy - Duration: 9:02.

Hi! I'm Susana from Pink&Fun's blog

and today I'm here with a collaboration with Tamy

from "Scrapbook by Tamy"

She invited me to a challenge called "Finish my Card"

that was created by her and by Debora from Screpando

and consists in making two cards

using the material we swap

This is the kit that Tamy sent me

and I'll show you quickly everything

I also sent her a kit with stuff for her 2 cards

so do not forget to visit her channel to see

This is one card blank

and this the other

I'm choosing the papers that I think I can use in each

but of course I'll change everything

To make the first card

I decided to use this embossed cardstock

To highlight and give it some color,

I will use these two inks

and an acrylic block

those that we normally use with stamps

I'll put some ink,

spray with water

and apply to the cardstock

To apply the second ink,

I want the cardstock completely dry

then, to be faster

I will use the heat gun

And I'll do the same thing with the other ink

And now, I will embellish

Finally, I will paste the panel to the card blank

using 3D foam tape

The first card is ready, it's time to go to the other

I don't know what papers I want to use

but finally I make up my mind :)

So I decided to use this one with foiled dots

to attach to the card blank
