AutoInput - Face Unlock On Any Device - Duration: 1:54.
Normally when you use face unlock on your Android device the keyguard will remain up
until you physically touch your device.
With AutoInput you can make your device's lock screen go away as soon as your phone
recognizes your face!
It works for Android 7 and up, but the setup process is a little different on Android 8
and and 7 so I have both versions here to show you.
On the left we have a Nexus 5X with Android 8 and on the right a Nexus 6 with android
7.
The first part is similar on both Android versions: you have to go to Android settings
and enable Trusted Face under your Smart Lock settings.
Now Go back to AutoInput.
On Android 8 all you have to do now is enable the option to automatically dismiss the keyguard
and that's it!
Now when your phone recognizes your face the lock screen will go away automatically!
On Android 7 you have to enable AutoInput's accessibility service before you can use this
feature.
Then it should work as well!
You probably noticed that the unlock animation seemed a little stuttery there.
Thankfully on most devices this can be fixed by fiddling with these settings.
For example, on my Nexus 6 I can set the bottom margin to 1000 and the speed to 250 and the
unlock process will be much smoother.
Play around with these settings to see what works best for your device.

Lockheed AC-130 Gunship - US Ground Attack Aircraft [Review] - Duration: 6:23.
The Lockheed AC-130 gunship is a heavily armed, long-endurance ground-attack variant of the
C-130 Hercules transport fixed-wing aircraft. It carries a wide array of anti-ground oriented
weapons that are integrated with sophisticated sensors, navigation, and fire-control systems.
Unlike other military fixed-wing aircraft, the AC-130 relies on visual targeting. Because
its large profile and low operating altitudes make it an easy target, it usually flies close
air support missions at night.
The airframe is manufactured by Lockheed Martin, while Boeing is responsible for the conversion
into a gunship and for aircraft support. Developed during the Vietnam War as 'Project Gunship
II', the AC-130 replaced the Douglas AC-47 Spooky, or 'Gunship I'. The sole operator
is the United States Air Force, which uses the AC-130U Spooky and AC-130W Stinger II
variants for close air support, air interdiction, and force protection, with the AC-130J Ghostrider
in development. Close air support roles include supporting ground troops, escorting convoys,
and urban operations. Air interdiction missions are conducted against planned targets and
targets of opportunity. Force protection missions include defending air bases and other facilities.
AC-130Us are based at Hurlburt Field, Florida, while AC-130Ws are based at Cannon AFB, New
Mexico; gunships can be deployed worldwide. The squadrons are part of the Air Force Special
Operations Command, a component of the United States Special Operations Command.
The AC-130 has an unpressurized cabin, with the weaponry mounted to fire from the port
side of the fuselage. During an attack, the gunship performs a pylon turn, flying in a
large circle around the target, therefore being able to fire at it for far longer than
in a conventional strafing attack. The AC-130H Spectre was armed with two 20 mm M61 Vulcan
cannons, one Bofors 40 mm cannon, and one 105 mm M102 howitzer; after 1994, the 20 mm
cannons were removed. The upgraded AC-130U Spooky has a single 25 mm GAU-12 Equalizer
cannon in place of the Spectre's two 20 mm cannons, an improved fire control system,
and increased ammunition capacity.
The new AC-130J is based on the MC-130J Combat Shadow II special operations tanker as of
2012. The AC-130W is armed with one 30 mm Bushmaster cannon, AGM-176 Griffin missiles,
and GBU-39 Small Diameter Bombs.
The Air Force decided to add a 105 mm cannon to the AC-130J in addition to the 30 mm cannon
and smart bombs, the shells being more accurate and cheaper than dropping Small Diameter Bombs.
Air Force Special Operations Command is interested in adding a directed-energy weapon to the
AC-130J by 2020, similar to the previous Advanced Tactical Laser program. It is to produce a
beam of up to 120 kW, or potentially even 180–200 kW, weigh about 2,300 kg, defensively
destroy anti-aircraft missiles, and offensively engage communications towers, boats, cars,
and aircraft. However, laser armament may only be installed on a few aircraft rather
than the entire AC-130J fleet; the laser will be mounted on the side in place of the 30
mm cannon.
AC-130 is capable of delivering precision firepower or area-saturation fire over a target
area over a long period of time, at night or in adverse weather. The sensor suite consists
of a television sensor, infrared sensor, and radar. These sensors allow the gunship to
visually or electronically identify friendly ground forces and targets in most weather
conditions.

hey Sewing Report Squad Jennifer here and I've got some pretty big news to
share about the future of this channel and kind of about my life so you may
have noticed that I don't really talk specifically about my job on Sewing
Report and I couldn't until now for the past almost five years I worked at CNN
as a Content Producer and the reason I can reveal this to you now is because I
recently quit well there were lots of factors that went into this decision I
wanted to be able to spend more time devoted to this channel working on
sewing report it's something I love doing for the past year and a half and
really wanted to put my money where my mouth is so I am moving forward I'm
going to be working on sewing report full-time so hopefully that means better
videos more frequent videos a better live show I really want to improve this
experience and also grow this community I have so much faith in the future of
sewing and that's why I wanted to start this channel in the first place is to
encourage people to sew because it's brought me so much joy I've spent the
last 15 years of my career dedicated as a journalist working in television news
but I really want to continue my future working in the sewing industry and
really contributing to the future of what this will become because I really
think this could be big this could be huge guys so I'm doing it I'm a little
bit scared but it's it's happening I actually already quit and we've actually
sold our house and we're making a lot of other personal changes if you're

Hi everyone its Keren here and I just thought of another great idea to make
backgrounds I saw something on Pinterest on how somebody use sharpies on a tile
and I thought hmmm I wonder if it would work on the Yupo paper the same way so
instead of using alcohol inks I'm using sharpies today and I'm just gonna try
out this technique to see if it works I have never done this before and I'm sure
somebody has tried it in the Internet I'm not the one I'm inventing this I
just want to just I wanted to see if I could do that this is a great way
everybody has sharpies lying around and this would be an amazing way to make a
five-minute background for a card or for like our journaling or whatever whatever
you want so you'll need a little bit of yeah paper this is the one I have today
it's a translucent one and I just cut it into a few pieces so I could experiment
on a smaller piece of paper I have I went all over my house to find colors of
sharpies and this is basically what I found I found black red you have
different how do you call the thicknesses there is green there is blue
so you'll need maybe the blending tool we'll see if we'll use that some alcohol
I have the alcohol ink blending solution but I also have this 70% alcohol rubbing
alcohol that I get out add that I got at the dollar store and it's a spray so
that's really fun so let's get started and see what comes what I can do with
this I'm going to take one paper at a time because I really don't want to mess
it all up and I'm going to work on this just so it doesn't stain my back my mat
so let's start with blue and I'm gonna make circles and I see them the key to
this is to make sure that you cover the whole background you can't just like
leave spaces and done so this will take a little bit longer to color but it will
be fun to do uh-huh I'm gonna put a little bit of red
and let's see some black we check the sector black one there so strong alcohol
so this should technically work because is at alcohol based so I am hoping for
great results and that's a funny part that you hope for something to happen
and you don't never know if it's going to be or not that you just have to kind
of experiment and let's see my let's go like this the way I want to look at
different patterns you know so this covers everything much faster and you
could use the thinner ones also to create like lines on top but I prefer
the thicker ones are much easier to use
and I want to use two too much black because black can't overpower things
let's get some green in here I mean this looks weird but I really think that this
might do it but you really need to cover the key to this I think is to cover it
everything I did attempt this before and not cover everything and it didn't come
out so good so I am really hoping that this time that I'm actually covering the
whole paper it will come out now we'll see what happens this is the key point
and to tell you the truth like it would be really cool if I had like sharpies
that are you know fluorescent colors or like you know sharpies now come in so
many different colors I only had the most regular ones but truthfully it
would be so cool and we if if we had like them oops the other kind the ones
that are like
huh okay now let's see and that starts spraying I'm gonna start spraying with
this one which is a rubbing alcohol and let it all mix up do you want to kind of
like move around I'm also going to put a little bit of that blending solution in
here because I think it's more potent than the alcohol
whoo I love how it's I love the backgrounds I just wish I would have had
some other colors to play around with I'm kind of feel like I'm stuck with
these like four colors that I found everywhere and I'm not able to play with
any other ones yeah I like this whoo okay this is what I meant by don't put
too much black in it I might have to dab out some of that
black because it's just not it's overpowering everything okay
dab it out and let's put some solutions so it will get the red I love the way
alcohol reacts with things and yeah I like this I love putting this little
drops into the solution and creating these really cool backgrounds that is
really fun and I'm gonna try something else too and I'm going to try a
different background soon you just have to let this dry oh I like that it's
really really cool yeah and you could swish it around if you really want to
the nice thing about like the blue for example is that not a blue sorry the
black is that it has other colors in it like purple I'm getting some Purple's
there as well so these are the really nice that longer you let it sit the more
it blends nicely so that's really really cool and I'm going to do this again
one drop one drop just to get those circles I love those circles okay so
that's a fun way five minutes it took literally five minutes and you could
combine this with regular alcohol inks as well I'm going to put this aside on
something so it dries oh it's just so wet I almost want to like let this like
fall out a little bit okay there's too much alcohol in here
okay so it doesn't look as nice when you have those things sticking out so I'm
going to just go ahead again and just put some of this to recreate those
circles okay all right so you never know what you're gonna get with alcohol inks
or with alcohol in general so that's one background now I want to test something
else one minute I have to find this place where to put this oh gosh so it
doesn't spill everywhere okay now I'm gonna take another yeah poke paper but
this time I'm going to use my blending tool wait I'm sick okay let's put this
the other way around and I'm thinking okay I'm not gonna be putting a black
this time because that did not do well now I'm thinking what if I do lines so
for example I'll do lines oh I'm running out of markers running out that's not
good I wanted to like okay and also get markers that'll work
it's here silliness I might have to make smaller backgrounds just because I'm not
going to have enough market to go all the way around okay so I'm just gonna
continue creating these marks it might not work all the way I think I'm running
I don't know why I'm running out of marker I should have not been but maybe
these are old well this is annoying when
I just used how are they all running out every single one that's annoying yeah
they're all running out hilarious you know when you're trying to make a
video when things don't go the way you want them to okay let me start here I
want to be able to create these lines and I'm going to use the blending tool
see how it works
well everything came out not sure I like that damage but sure how much I like
this one not so much it's nice it's not amazing I like it
better when I do these things when I create these really cool patterns like
that with the drips that I like much better and I like it how the purple
forms as well because you have the blue and the red in the background so that's
more fun for me you like this better I did not like the lines as much I'm gonna
finish it up but it's a really fun way to use sharpies and actually I thought
of another idea instead of using sharpies how about we
use highlighters so I'm going to try and see if these work as well okay so I'm
going to use not all highlighters are alcohol-based but they can be and I just
looked this up just to see that I was doing something that made sense so I
just thought let me try it with highlighters and see how it goes so now
I put the blending solution here and it's blending those as well and they're
just really cool so it's really fun I think I would like to make just just one
with just highlighters hmm I really like this let it run down a little bit oh
that's cool see I like that better this type of this is a really cool
background you see okay I like that let's try this again I'm gonna do maybe
just highlighters so let's take one more Apple paper let me clean this out and
let me clean the bottom now it's clean alcohol ink from everywhere because it
tends to stain really badly hmm okay so let's have this a little bit
of fun with the with these highlighters I could not find a yellow highlighter
believe it or not I could only find green and or any porridge what am I
saying it's not even green I am confusing the colors I'm all mixed up
purple and pink sometimes I think I go colorblind with these things because I'm
just using color all the time so what will happen if let's try and like do it
like this so purple and then and then pink and then purple
and one more pink let's try this pink because a little bit stronger I wish I
had a yellow one that would have been like that or an orange when Sir I
ransacked my kids my kids drawers trying to find highlighters and things like
that and could not find a single things I went through both my kids bedrooms and
could not find anything that would be cool enough to use don't you know why I
usually have all these things and today I didn't have any Haven look through all
my stuff and I couldn't find oh look what I found
I found a yellow sharpie I'm so excited hey let's see if it has anything ah I
see all the shopping it's not working I thought I have a yellow sharpie but it's
not I wonder if I have any other colors
too bad okay well let's just try this for fun I just yeah
I think it's cool I wish I could like I
wish I could have like more colors oh I'm like so annoying let's smell so
strongly like alcohol I mean I just think it's like just fun to create cool
backgrounds so why not like you know why not try experiment with things you
already have at home I really like this idea and then you can turn this into a
hard background or use pieces of it into to your art journaling let's see it's
got some more alcohol here in the corners
I really like that Yahtzee I like how its forming these circles on
top of the highlighted area I just like that mmm okay the only thing I did bring
is I brought one silver alcohol ink and I thought to add it in a few spot just
to make it more exciting but those are the alcohol things just to add a little
bit of glitter to the background it's like a blending solution so that's cool
see it's mixing really nicely with the other ones yay it's creating such a nice
background I'm going to try that okay let's try with you okay so this one is
kind of blending okay let's leave that to blend let's bring the other ones that
are kind of drying here oh oh look what happened here it went on the back of the
other paper okay I like that as well so some really really cool designs came out
of this nothing that I wasn't something that I was not expecting I knew it would
work on the tile but I don't have any tiles so I really was excited that I
could actually try it on something else and the last one I'm going to bring is
the first one I did that one is with the darker colors the darker colored ones
well let's see how the silver looks on this I'm sure it's gonna look the best
out of all and you know millet is dry and show you how they look when they're
dry look at that and that's all alcohol ink I mean sorry let me rephrase that's
all sharpies that did this how cool is that
oh my god it's spreading so nicely I love it how beautiful is it you
have to take pictures of this when when I'm when it's closer Wow this is my
favorite one it looks like a galaxy painting or something oh my god I'm in
love with this let me add a little bit of blending solution so I can mix this
out oh wow okay I've officially created something that I really really love in
five minutes and it's just so much okay maybe was ten minutes because this is
not fast forwarded but if I will fast forward it then it would be five minutes
but a really cool idea and just like things that you have at home so that's

colleague here with me today. Hi everyone, my name is Kaci Abolt and I'm an
admissions counselor here at the University of Illinois as well. All right
Kaci, I have a question for you. Should a student get a job when they get to
college? That's a great question. We hear that a
lot from prospective students. Really it's all about time management, so once
you come to college, if you find that you have some time in your day and you'd
like to pick up a part-time job, many of our students work either on campus or
out in the Champaign-Urbana community, but it's really about finding that
balance between what you're doing at work and what you're expected to do in
the classroom.

Okay, so our next question we get a lot from students is, "what can I do while I'm
on campus to make sure I get a good job once I graduate?" So there are a variety
of things that you can do to get a job, to increase your chances of getting a
job once you leave campus. So one thing is interacting with our alumni. We have
450,000 living alumni, so you should definitely touch bases with some of them
in your interactions. And they can help you with different job opportunities. In
addition to that, you want to interact with your peers. So we have 33,000
students on campus. So your interactions with them will help you to get a job
after college. Lastly, throughout your department you have a list-serve
opportunity. So the opportunities will be coming to your email almost every single
day, I promise you. With my experience and my major, urban planning, I was receiving
opportunities for jobs, internships, and research every single day. So applying to
some of those opportunities will help increase your chances of getting jobs out
of the college. I think that's great. In all of our different colleges, they're all
offering career fairs where employers from all of our different majors are
coming to campus to interview our students while they're still on campus.
So we have over 15,000 interviews that are happening every single year on
campus. Yes, we do. Absolutely.

Ask Admissions: What should I do if my child does not have good test scores? - Duration: 2:04.
What should I do if my child does not have good test scores? So it's important
to keep in mind that test scores oftentimes are not the only factor that
colleges and universities are going to be looking at.
So for example, at Illinois, yes it is one part of our application review process.
But we are also going to be looking at grades, course rigor. There's an essay.
We're going to be looking at involvement outside of the classroom, as well. So
just making sure that if possible that your student is really strong in each of
those other areas. If you really feel that their test scores are not
necessarily preparing them for the programs and the universities that
they're looking at, assisting them in some of the test preparation through
various resources within your community, looking into renting, purchasing, or just
checking out different types of textbooks, going online, using some of the
online resources to help prepare your child to take those exams. If
possible, of course there is always tutoring, as well, for both usually the
ACT and the SAT. So it's really dependent upon your situation, but just know that
it's not the only factor that most schools are going to be looking at when
they're reviewing their applicants. I will add that oftentimes there is the
opportunity to retake exams, and so I would strongly encourage it. For Illinois,
when we review an application, we only review the highest composite score (and the highest sub scores) even if they're not from the same exam.
We're trying to give you the benefit of the doubt. I would strongly encourage
you to retake an exam if you are not comfortable with your
first score. You can also kind of look into how the universities that
you're looking at review their applications in terms of how many test
scores you can send each institution, as well as what is the last date for you
to send test scores. So for example, at Illinois we will accept new test scores
up until the date that you actually receive your final decision. So even
if you take the test after you already have applied and submitted your test
scores already, we will review new test scores if they are higher.

The next question is, "How do I bring up discussing college choices with my
child?" I think a really good place to start is by discussing with your child
what they're interested in doing after they graduate high school. College is not
necessarily for every student, and we know that, so it's important that you
make sure that you're aware of what their goals are so that you can both
have the conversation of what is the best path to reach those various
goals. I think, in addition, it would be very helpful to have if the parent has
attended college to have a conversation about what their process was like and
maybe how they prioritized their college selection process as well. Also, if
you have never attended college, or any or no one in your family has ever
attended college before, you can always reach out to admissions counselors to
find out a little bit more about what that process is like. So that when it
comes time for your child to start the application process in the college
search process, you have a little bit of knowledge to kind of assist them through.

Should I encourage my child to get a part-time job in college? I would
strongly encourage it. I can tell you that I needed to have a job while I was
on campus when I was a freshman, in order to help support my stay here at the
university, to be able to pay for books, to be able to pay for a coffee when I
went out with friends. My parents were completely opposed to the idea. Their
mindset was that I was coming to school to be a student, and that's it. They
wanted my focus to be completely at school. But part of the university
process, and part of the college experience, is learning how to manage
your time, and understanding that it's not just you being in classes.
But it's also you getting involved. There's also meeting other people, until
a part-time job oftentimes provides you with the additional responsibilities
that push you to manage your time a little bit more wisely. I will say it
can get a little bit difficult in the first semester, so I would encourage
students to just jump off the bat and get involved in a ton of things, and also
in a job. But I will say, actually, research supports students in college
having employment, because again it helps them manage their time a little bit
better. And keep in mind, too, that a part-time job can mean a lot of
different things. So you could have your student look for part-time jobs within
the community, maybe stores or restaurants. But oftentimes colleges and
universities, they're going to have jobs on campus for them. And so those jobs can
be really great, because the people that they're working for know that they're
college students, so they tend to be very flexible with their work hours, and how
often they need off, and during finals and things along those lines. So it
doesn't necessarily mean they have to go get a specific type of job, or work a
full 20 hours a week, but at least doing something in addition to their
coursework to make sure that they're getting out, meeting people, and kind of
building upon their skill set. Yeah, I worked at a pizza place and I can tell
you that I didn't have to pay for a meal for the entirety of the week that I was
working, and so that was one less meal I had to worry about.

How do I help my child adjust to college life? So it's really important that you
make sure that you keep open the lines of communication with your child. Let
them know that you're always there for them if there's ever anything they need,
if they have any questions that they can call you or text you, and that you'll be
there for them. But of course, you do also want to give them the space to adjust on
their own. This is more than likely going to be the first time that they're living
away from home. They may be in a brand new geographic area.They're going to be
living with someone new. It may even be someone they had not met prior. So allow
them the time to adjust somewhat on their own, so that they can really grow
and their own lifestyle, and really build upon that independence. Know
that they still need you no matter what they say. They'll be calling home and
they'll be coming home with loads of laundry and if, if my experience is any
indication of, you know, having bleached all of my clothes, how desperately I
needed my mom to help me fix that? Right. Trust me, they'll be calling. Yes, but
they're going to be learning and growing so much, especially in the first six
months to a year that they're there. So allow them that time to kind of grow and
change.

Hi, my name is Mayra and I'm an admission counselor with the University
of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. And my name is Casey, I'm also an admissions
counselor at the University of Illinois. And today we're going to be talking
about some questions that we receive from parents. And we hope to just give
you some advice to kind of help prepare you for your child's search process. So
the first question that we have is, "what role should I take in my child's college
search process?" So I would say one of the most important parts of assisting in
your child's college search process is to make sure that you keep open the
lines of communication with your child so that you know both what your
expectations are as well as what their expectations are. So it can be very
helpful for you to do some research on your own. Look into some of the
universities and colleges that your child is interested in. But you also need
to allow them the independence to do a lot of the major parts of the process
themselves. So, for example, you can be there to assist them if they have any
questions when filling out applications. But you really want to allow them to
complete the applications on their own, so that their voice is being heard and
so that they're really taking that autonomy to make the decisions
themselves. I would also take the time to again open the line of communication to
talk to each other about what it is that you're looking for from the college in
particular that you're looking into. So students may have priorities a little
bit differently than their parents. For example, to me it was very important to
have a program that had arts, and for my parents it was very important to look at
a school that was affordable, which is completely understandable.

How do I pay for my child's college tuition? So the first place to start is
by going online and filling out the FAFSA, which is the Free Application for
Federal Student Aid. It is free to fill out, so it doesn't cost you anything at
all. Just make sure that you use the ".gov" website so that there's no fee
associated with it. The FAFSA opens each year on October 1, so you can
actually fill it out during October of your child's senior year to help prepare
them for the following school year. And when you fill that out, all of the money
that you would be receiving from the FAFSA would be federally funded and can
come in the form of loans, grants, or federal student work-study, as well. I
would also look into private scholarships. These can be found in
different databases. For example, Cappex, College Greenlight, fast web is
another one, scholarships.com is another one, and I would go to your high school
counseling team as well. Oftentimes they have a database of scholarships that are
available based on your district, based on your school, based on former students
or alumni in their districts. And I would also go to your elected officials office
and ask to see if they have any lists of those scholarships.
Pro tip: if they are charging you to apply, don't do it. You shouldn't have to apply
for free money. And you can always contact the colleges that you're looking
at as you're filling out the applications to find out about their
scholarship process. Most college and universities are going to offer some
type of merit-based aid, as well. Some may require an additional scholarship
application. But, for example, at Illinois we actually will use your application to
the university to consider you for any scholarships that you're eligible for
based on a variety of different criteria.
