Hello Everyone..!! Welcome to Priya's Kitchen..!!

Today I am going to share one yummy and delicious dessert recipe.. that is Fruit Custard.

Almost every kid loves to eat custard. let's start the process..

for this lets prepare our custard first, for that boil some milk.

Today I am taking half (1/2) liter of Milk

let the milk come to boil

Now in another bowl, take some Milk, around 5 to 6 tablespoons

add Custard powder, around 2 to 3 tablespoons

mix it well without any lumps

So it is ready..

so our milk started boiling, just mix it once

now slowly add our custard milk

and keep stirring

we need to stir this continuously to avoid any lumps

add 3 to 4 tablespoons of Sugar

Sugar, you can increase or decrease the quantity, as per your preference

I like my custard to be light sweet

keep the flame in medium to low

mix it like this continuously

so we can see the milk started thickening

adjust the sweetness according to your liking

so we can see the milk has thickened nicely, the consistency should be like this

after it cools down, it will get slightly thicker than this

switch off the flame and allow this custard to cool down completely

our custard has completely cool down, now add some fruits to it

so our custard has cool down completely and it came to room temperature

Now lets add our Fruits. Today I am taking Apple, Pear, Banana

and some Pomegranate. Fruits you can choose as per your liking.

Add all these fruits into this custard

some Pomegranate seeds

add some chopped Cashew nut pieces, it gives very nice taste

mix it

so I have mixed all our fruits in to this custard very well

Now cover it

we need to refrigerate this for 2 to 3 hours, then we can serve our custard

Its been 2 hours, let's check our custard

our chilled and delicious fruit custard is ready

Learn English Vocabulary: The Dark Side of Politics - Duration: 15:05.

A warm welcome back to engVid. Today I'm presenting a series of vocab and phrases to help you

understand what is happening in the news. It's important to know what's going on in

the world, and if you can read a newspaper in English then you will develop an enormous

sense of satisfaction because that will show that your level of English is right up there.

Okay, let's start with "unethical". So, we can see a shorter word within the longer word:

"ethic". Now, a person's ethics are the ideas that they live by. So we say: "A code of ethics".

For example, to say please and thank you. If you want to know more about this, then

perhaps watch my lesson on social etiquette. Okay? It's to do with the kind of ideas and

beliefs a person has. If something is unethical, then basically it means it's wrong, it's bad.

Evil's quite a strong word, but it's along those lines.

"Illicit" is something banned, something not allowed. So if a politician took some illicit

substances, then that would show that they had been taking some drugs that are not legal

in the country they are in. Okay? "Illegal", "illicit", a synonym would be: "illegal", "banned".

"Allegation", so we have a noun here. An allegation-I'll just write in that that's the noun-is something

that someone said about something else. For example, an allegation that Boris Johnson

has had an affair. Someone is saying that Boris Johnson has had an affair. It doesn't

mean that they have had an affair, it just means that someone is saying they have had

an affair. "An affair" is when you cheat on someone. Okay?

"Alleged", okay? To allege, you are saying the rumour, you are saying what you think

happened. "Alleged", so that is the past tense version of the verb. "To allege" is the present

tense. But it's most often seen in the past tense. "Journalists alleged that"... "Allegedly",

okay? So here's the adverb. "Allegedly Boris Johnson has done this." It's not saying definitely.

It's saying it might have happened.

Okay, "a disclosure". This is making a secret public. Okay? So, Boris Johnson tells a friend

that he has been putting lots of money in a bank account in Switzerland or in an offshore

bank account. The friend then is quite nasty to Boris, because he makes the secret public.

He discloses some information. Okay? "Disclosure", the noun; the verb, "to disclose". And if

we look a little bit more carefully there, your prefix "dis" and the main part of the

word "close", so something is close and now it is open. So we had a secret and now we

don't have a secret.

"Libel". "Libel" is a published fake statement that damages someone's reputation. Okay? So,

who says "fake" a lot? Donald Trump. "Fake news! That's fake news. Don't listen to him,

that's fake news." Okay? So, "fake" means made up. So, libel, you can accuse someone

of libel if they write something about you that is not true.

"To be embroiled in a scandal". So, "a scandal" is something regarded, something thought of

as wrong which causes a public outrage. "Outrage" is when we are angry. So the politician...

Let's just explain this word, sorry. "Embroiled" means caught up in. I'll write that there.

"To be embroiled in a scandal", you're surrounded by something that is making the public very

angry. And I've got quite a few examples of those just to come in a moment.

A "P.R. disaster". So, the P stands for "public", the R stands for "relations". If you work

in P... If you work in PR, then you are promoting people all the time and you are saying: "This

person is fantastic dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah". But a P.R. disaster is when it goes into the

newspapers some bad press. "Bad press" is something written that makes that politician

look bad. Not necessarily politician, can apply to someone else.

Okay, "an abuse of power", "abuses of power". So, our politicians have... We have voted

for them to make decisions to help run the country. If they abuse, that means if they

do something bad with that power, then they are using power for the wrong reason. Let's

think of an example. They... It would have been an abuse of power if they were using

their position to make money on the side. So, if they were taking deals from businesses

against the public good, that would be an abuse of power.

This is about relationships: "to two-time". Okay? So, generally in our society it's a

monogamous one, that means you're meant to kind of be with one person. "Mono" meaning

one. But if you're two-timing, then the politician or whoever it is, is seeing two at the same

time and maybe one is very upset about that. So if a politician two-timed, that would be

a P.R. disaster. Not in France where the press seem to sort of celebrate that kind of naughtiness.

In Britain it wouldn't go down very well.

"Clandestine affair". So, a "clandestine affair", "clandestine" means secret. "An affair" is

cheating. Okay?

What are other things that would result in a P.R. disaster, that would be bad press for

the politician? Expenses fraud. So, "expenses", your expense... Prefix "ex" meaning out. You

can... "Pence" is kind of money, so what you're spending out. Now, politicians are allowed

to claim on expenses. What that means is if they spend money doing their job they can

get some of that money back. But if they... What fraud is, deception for financial gain.

Deception for financial gain, so what they're doing is they are being... They are cheating.

They're saying: "I spent this to do my job", but actually they didn't need to spend that

and they are fiddling the books. We talk about "the books" is like a record of money, if

they are fiddling, they are making a mess of, they are... They're playing a game to

get more money.

"An offshore hedge fund". So, "offshore" means, you know, we've got the edge of Britain. Any

one of you who watched my video on food of Britain knows that I'm not great at drawing

maps of the UK. So, "offshore", here's the shore, it means the coast. If it's off the

shore then it's somewhere else. A hedge fund, now, I'm no economist, but "a hedge fund"

is like some people working for you to make more money. An offshore hedge fund is not

strictly legal because it avoids tax being paid in this country. So, that's not going

to go down very well with our people, so that's P.R. disaster.

"Cash for honours", now, at the end of David Cameron's reign as Prime Minster of the United

Kingdom there was quite a lot of controversy... Running out of space on my board. "Controversy",

when someone thinks it's bad. So David Cameron's at the end of his... His time as Prime Minister

and he starts giving knighthoods: "Hello, you are now Sir So-and-so, you are now Lord

So-and-so, you are now..." Okay? And he gives these titles because those people have given

his party money. So that was called the "cash for honours scandal". Okay? It's not very

fair that he's just giving these titles because they have gave the Conservative Party money.

Now, from across the pond, over in America we had the "Watergate scandal" which was to

do with President Nixon and there was an attempted theft of his party headquarters that then

unwrapped this whole saga, which you can read about in your own time. But it was called

the "Watergate". Now, if anything goes slightly badly wrong, if anything's controversial...

Controversial, then we can add this suffix to the end, we call it "something-gate". Something

else that happened to David Cameron was "pig-gate". Now, someone wrote a biography about David

Cameron, alleging that he had performed something strange with a pig, therefore we call that

pig-gate, because it was bad press for David Cameron. Okay.

"Corruption", this is quite similar to the idea of an abuse of power. If you are corrupt

then maybe you're taking money to do something for someone else. So, "corruption" is your

noun, "corrupt" is your adjective.

"Tyranny". Now, a "tyrant" is someone who has lots and lots of power, and they don't

really listen to anyone else, so we're thinking sort of Robert Mugabe, Idi Amin, they're people

who rule and kill and do anything they want to maintain power. Okay? So that's your...

A reign of tyranny, and a tyrant is the person. So, tyranny is kind of like the action, that's

the person.

"Nepotism". Now, this is where you keep it in the family. So there's plenty of examples

of this all across the world, from the film business, to politics, to business. This is

just where you have a family here, like: "Right, now I pass it on to my son, now my son can

do this, now the daughter can do this, now the grandson can do this." Up to you where

you see those examples.

Now, if something goes really badly wrong in politics then that politician will have

to stop working and go out of the limelight. I'll write that down. Why is it called "limelight"?

I've no idea, but lots of attention is on them, and then suddenly they have to go and

live out in the countryside and put slippers on and smoke a pipe. Now, in America, the

President could be "impeached", there could be an "impeachment" where the president stops

being the president, but hopefully it's... The politician works out that they should

stop and they decide before the people decide. So, if they decide then they can "resign",

there can be a "resignation". So let's just break up this word. Okay? So you can see the

word, so "signature", they're taking back their signature. They did say: "Yes, hello,

I was President", and now that has been taken away.

Do hope you have learnt some new words from today's lesson. I think this would be an excellent

lesson for you to have a go on the quiz to try and ground these words into your everyday

usage. And why not start picking up an English newspaper, reading them? And some fantastic

ones out there, not just UK newspapers; America, The Times of India, plenty of them around.

definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over again expecting

a different result and you have a lot of people out there doing that because

they'll go from one empty promise of some money proof type of you know

scenario that they'll look at and they'll be told everything that they

need to hear to part with their money so there's a thing called "work ethic", people

and when I say work ethic and I'm not talking about going and getting a degree

in computer science and learning how to be a programmer and build websites and

do all this stuff because you know that's that in and of itself is a

task that can take years to learn so what I want to address is the fact that

you have people that are desperate newbies if you will and there's a whole

industry of or a syndicate I should say of people that like to scam newbies and

that might be a little blunt but when I say scam newbies basically they're

saying okay look we're gonna do everything for you really I mean all you

have to do if you have a pulse if you wake up tomorrow morning and you have a

pulse just send me send me sixty five hundred

dollars send me send me twelve thousand dollars send me twenty send me fifty

thousand dollars whatever the amount is and you have a business in a box where

you have to do nothing except collect the checks and why? Well because we're

gonna close your sales for you and and you'll you know we'll keep 20%

you'll get to keep 80% for doing nothing now I want you to apply a little bit of

logic for just a minute think about it if somebody is going to or if they have

the sales the phone skills the communication skills to be a hardcore

sales closer where they're gonna get somebody to part with that amount of

money just by pressuring them by closing them if you will well think about it

whatever that lead source that wherever that leads source originated from

doesn't it stand to reason that this skilled sales closer who's only gonna be

earning 20% of the sale he's just gonna bypass the poor newbie who believes

all that crap and just go to that lead source directly themselves obtain a

position in said company and then make 100% of the Commission's why wouldn't

they do that as opposed to just saying out you know what I'd rather just you

know make make 20% and just be a slave on the phone all day long to you know

talking to people and closing them all day long and making 20% why why would

you cut 80% out now granted they'd have to go pay for the leads but the you know

the the offset of the the lead cost would be negligible if you're trading

20% for 100% so there's this big done-for-you scam story that is fed to

people and they believe it because you know the logical bullet points in

their brain say to them okay you know what this makes sense so I'm gonna do it

I'm gonna go ahead because I want you to do it all for me well first off you know

and I don't mean to you know be disrespectful to anybody but if you're

someone that needs to have something done for you because either, A) you're too

scared to go you know learn something or you just don't have the time well if you

don't have the time or whatever it is you're doing with your time you know

that job that you can't part with well you're never going to lift

yourself out of that predicament that you want to get out of if you're

not willing to grow a little bit and a lot of the tools that we have in place

they will help you leverage your time they'll do all kinds of things

to where you can get out of that rut but I want to warn people they're just

they're just so many unscrupulous people out there that are just dangling that

carrot opening the envelope and I talked about this a lot and they have in other

videos but it's getting to the point where, and again I'm not trying to be mean

spirited because you know there are people that are vulnerable people that

are desperate but my god I mean it doesn't mean you have to be so stupid

just to believe you know what someone is showing you and so I encourage everybody

you know due diligence, the whole thing about hey you know you see the the

sands in the hourglass there as soon as that hourglass is empty you're going to

lose out fear of loss that's the fear of loss thing is another thing that drives

me nuts it's in a granite I understand that businesses use it to try to you

know they want people to take action but it's BS when someone tells you you have

48 hours to take advantage it's not true and if you don't believe me do this: get

with someone who's insisting that you have a deadline a 48 hours, 72 hours to

take action are you gonna lose out and hang up the phone wait a week wait seven

days and call back and say you know what I'm in a hundred percent but only if

you're gonna honor that bonus I will send you money right now and if you're

not going to you, we can just end this conversation and I'll go find somebody

else who will honor that bonus that you're "pretending" has expired nobody is

gonna sit there and say "I'm sorry you missed out", you see that's where the lie

is, there's so many lies in this industry it drives me nuts but I wouldn't be here

making a video talking about this stuff if there wasn't money to be made it's

just easy for some of these losers to go and just prey on people I mean some of

them wanting to are sick though they'll prey on senior citizens to "hey go tap

into your 401k", I mean just all kinds of disgusting crap that goes on out there

and I'm sick of it but you know that's the negative side, and there's

so much positive it just becomes kind of a

virtual minefield that you have to kind of navigate through to cut through all

the crap so you know maybe you've done businesses like this before and you've

had some success you got a little taste of the success and the light bulb went

off in your head you okay I'm on the right track but maybe it was fleeting

maybe it you know didn't last very long and so some people get kind of caught in

this this vicious cycle of I know I'm close I I can just feel it I'm close but

the truth is you have to have a system that works, sure, but you have to have you

know a good work ethic and I mean at least have the wherewithal to

not be afraid to pick up the phone and call someone not a cold call not a sales

type of you know sales pitch cold call but I'm talking about returning a call

imagine if somebody called you and said hey I'm interested in what you got

please call me and let me know you know if I can learn more

could you make a call like that well if you couldn't this business isn't for you

you probably should be working out at you know whatever job where you know

behind the counter you know fast food industry whatever the case may be no

disrespect to anybody that works in fast food or any of these other minimum-wage

types of jobs but people you know want to work for themselves if they I mean

why work for somebody else make somebody else rich because what maybe you're

afraid to make a phone call you know I mean that type of thing

so you know there's so much that goes into this but there's just so much

misrepresented garbage out there so I want you to be careful so here's what I

want you to do and whether you call me or not that's fine do due diligence I

mean really exercise due diligence but not to the point where someone the

minute and I will, I will challenge anybody all day long on this the minute

someone says hey look look you only got to 24 more hours I can't honor that if

you don't they're lying to you that's what they are and they're not and I'm

just gonna call it what it is they're not you know hey just trying to you know

basically you know create a sense of urgency that's a lie it's absolutely a

lie and so that gives this industry a black you know a black eye is what it

does and so you just have to be careful so anyway right now think about it you

see enough videos out there to where and you probably know first-hand especially

if you've you know had some degree of success in the past that you know there

are people out there making money you just know there are but there are also

people that are abusing the process by embellishing exaggerating

giving all kinds of you know that virtual aphrodisiac proof just to get

people into a frame of mind where they're just drunk on oh my gosh look at

this this idiot with like no IQ who I can't even understand a word coming out

of their mouth that sounds so stupid this guy's raking it in this is gonna

be easy for me and that's all that's just that's just one example there's so

so many things you need to be careful of and again I'm not sitting you're you

know getting on a high horse and hey you know I'm right and everyone else is a

scammer and I'm not I'm not saying that at all, I'm just saying just be careful and

exercise due diligence and don't be in any hurry I mean if you want to join

something right now due diligence for a couple of weeks seriously I mean that's

what I tell everyone and so you know what that means

that it just means that you need to do what's right for you and not what's in

the best interest of somebody else who's trying to you know create fake scarcity

or use for your loss tactics all that other stuff because it doesn't work now

all that being said if you're looking for something obviously and you are you

wouldn't be watching this video but you you you're tired of waiting through the

junk and the garbage and you want to be a part of something that works what I

have set up is a basically a system that you can actually plug into you that's

really kind of different in terms of what it does and how it actually

qualifies prospects for you but I'm not gonna lie to you and tell you it's

completely done for you and if that's what you're looking for you've already

wasted money you know you have and if you haven't don't do it because this

done for you it's more like a done with you is really

what this is you have to be able to pick up the phone and call someone back

that wants to learn more and just simply direct them to a presentation that's it

if you're not willing to do that and it's too it's not within you

because you're scared of the phone or that the other thing then I don't know go go

take some you know read some self-improvement books or whatever you

have to do but none, nothing, none of this it's gonna be is going to be done for

you and they basically those that have that job mentality or that lottery

mentality where they basically want to kind of do the equation of hey I'm at

the nickel slot machine I'm gonna put the money in I'm gonna pull the bar and

it's gonna spit out all this money that that's what I need if that's what you

need then you need to go to Vegas and good luck because you know right now I'm

gonna be honest the competition even though a lot of the competition is

garbage I mean it's just becoming more and more intense and so you know people

generally connect with other people they're gonna have a hard time

connecting with somebody unless there are a good phones sales closer on the

phone making a connection telemarketers that you have no

connection with or out to rip you off and they're not out to help you and

they're certainly not out to do anything for you so just be aware of that now back to

the system that I have what I've been talking about here the analogy I like to

give and basically it and I'm gonna use a door-to-door salesman type of analogy

and it's kind of the reverse effect of that now years ago I mean years ago back

in the 70s I remember my mother bought a vacuum cleaner from a door-to-door

salesman I'll never forget it but what's interesting is you know through the

years you know you learn about door-to-door sales and I've always

thought back to how that must have been really hated to go out in the hot Sun

knocking on doors I mean just strangers doors in this day and age forget it but

I mean even back then trying to get your foot in the door literally with the

vacuum cleaner to do a demonstration and I can't imagine how how complicated that

that would be as you can see I'm not a a sales person as it is so I mean I

actually I suck at sales to be honest with you

I'm great at connecting with people and answering questions and presenting and

that's what my systems do but doing sales like that I can't imagine how

complicated that would be and if you're someone who's good at that you know more

power to you but anyway I digress back to the topic here, so this is what I

have set up it's kind of like a reverse effect of the vacuum the reverse vacuum

cleaner sales analogy is what I like to call it

meaning that imagine and I think back to that, that guy who sold my mom a vacuum

cleaner so many years ago well imagine if this guy at his place of business was

just sitting on a stockpile of vacuums and refused to go door-to-door because

he had all of the people people like my mother that were potentially in the

market for a vacuum cleaner and actually were in the market for it

which is why they started knocking on his door well imagine you know he's not

going door-to-door anymore he's hearing the knock on the door knock on the door

and there's a line of people that say hey this vacuum cleaner you have is

something that I think I'm in the market for, I'd like to learn more about

it, what do you have? Well imagine, imagine how much easier his job would be I mean

talk about a to give the phrase, was is it, a lay down sale and he's not going

door-to-door anymore trying to get his foot in the door he's just opening the

door because it's being knocked on by people that are saying hey let me see

what you got I'm interested in something like this, complete 180 from that

and so I give that analogy because the systems that I have set up work just

like that to where okay if you can open the door when someone knocks on it

fantastic if you're afraid to open the door because god forbid somebody might

have to see you you might have to say hi and maybe he how's the weather or

connect with them and you're afraid to do that then I'll be honest with you if

that's your personality type you're doomed to make anything in a business

like this you'll be lucky if you make anything you're not gonna make a dime so

I'm just telling you like it is quite frankly and there are people that are

making a lot of money a lot of money in this business and in these high ticket

programs but there are so many more people

that aren't even making a dime I mean they're making nothing and they can't

figure out why and it's because well it's a combination of a number of things

maybe they don't have the work ethic maybe they're tapping into a bad lead

source and that's another thing bad lead sources you know if you go and you buy a

lead that person doesn't know who you are

even if they maybe fill out a form they still don't know who you are

so you're gonna have a hard time connecting with them because even if

you're responding with someone like that it still they don't know you so the

trick is to position yourself in a way where people actually get to know you a

little bit and they're already looking for this type of thing to where

generally it makes your job easy so I'm not gonna sit here and get in all the

nuances and the details of it but basically that that's what you have so

you know beware of the money proofers that are just trying to bait you and scam

you because that's really what they're doing and don't let people scare you

with fear of loss if you don't take action by a deadline that's also a lie

Today I'm going to tell you about the "Parties" here in Japan.

I think "Party" in other countries might mean making a lot of noise, like drinking at the bars with their friends or enjoying a home-party.

But the meaning of "Party" in Japan is a bit different.

We have different kinds of party, such as Nabe (a big Japanese stew) Party, Takoyaki Party, cheese fondue Party and Gyoza Party.

These are usually [Name of Food + Party], which means a few friends gather at a person's home and enjoy that food together.

There are some points you need to pay attention to when you have "Party" in Japan.

When you go to "Gyoza Party" and "Takoyaki Party", you should help with the preparation and making Gyoza and Takoyaki together.

Here in Japan, we like cooperation and team works. So if you don't participate as everyone does in the party, you might not enjoy it as much.

I think that's all I wanted to tell you! Last but not least, enjoy the Japanese Party with your friends!

Some of my friends asked me what the Party is like in Japan and told me that they didn't go to the party because they were too shy to talk to Japanese.

I highly recommend you to join the party because it is a good opportunity for you to practice your Japanese and to see what Japanese apartments or houses look like

When the material or the elements like the door will wait couple days I always use the plastic foil.

This foil tightens... and that prevent prevents distortion and twists...

Especially when changes temperature and humidity

I put the doors on the pile . The last couple doors I wrap it up by plastic foil and put it on the top of the pile.

Now the doors are straight....

This foil tightens... and that prevent prevents distortion and twists..., and keep the door straight.

I do this way about 15 years...

That is not cheap but works .That way I save on the material and time...

Some guys make the doors oversize and then they trim them.

The door are rough I assembled them couple hours ago.

I not sand them yet...

on my table saw I have perfect square...

That I can check the 90 degree ...

For Shaker style doors...

I've read that even the connection is stronger by 65%

therefore I apply the glue on both sides ... Always

you should wait a while for the wood to suck the glue...

That is enough amount of glue....

Here if someone will tell you are shoemaker,That mean you poor carpenter.

But if someone will tell you are butcher,That mean you do not know what you doing...

That enough !

Next one......same way....

If you want to do it too fast it will bounce on quality...

You should at least couple times finish your job.Mean sand it apply stain and varnish...

Now I put 23 gauge (0.6 mm) pin nails on the corner to secure the tenon.

Now I can flip over the door.

In principle, you can take the door out...

I prefer remain the doors in the clamps for about 20 minutes.

Some my helpers excessively tighten the clamps and destroyed them..

...I had must weld the aluminum....

For most furniture doors I use the aluminum clamps.... they strong enough

My mentor use to said"if the material is prepared wrong and the tenons are poorly fit... the God even is not able keep the material in the one piece as a furniture"

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson called for a return to civilian rule in Zimbabwe.

"Zimbabwe has an opportunity to set itself on a new path: one that must include democratic

elections and respect for human rights.

Ultimately the people of Zimbabwe must choose."

Tillerson's comments came as the 93-year-old Mugabe made his first public appearance since

the military put him under house arrest earlier this week.

The military has announced "significant progress" on talks for his departure and arrested some

of his allies.

A Belgian judge did not rule on a European arrest warrant issued by Spain against ousted

Catalan President Carles Puigdemont, instead setting a December 4th date for the next hearing.

Robert Raffaele has more.

Madrid issued the warrant for Puigdemont and the four ex-ministers after they fled to Brussels

last month and ignored a summons to appear before a Spanish judge, claiming they would

not get a fair trial.

They face charges of rebellion and sedition for their roles in the region's independence

drive.

Spanish authorities had removed Puigdemont and his 13-member cabinet from office for

pushing ahead with secession.

At least 20 internally displaced persons were killed by a car bomb Friday in Syria, an attack

that has been blamed on Islamic State.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitor put the death toll at 26, adding that 12 of

the victims were children.

Syrian state broadcaster SANA said that 30 others were injured at a site where displaced

families were relocated in eastern Syria near the city of Deir el-Zour.

According to U.N. figures, 6.3 million Syrians are internally displaced as the country's

civil war continues for the seventh year.

Philip Alexiou reports that North Korea has ruled out negotiations with Washington as

long as joint U.S.-South Korea military exercises continue, and said that Pyongyang's atomic

weapons program would remain as a deterrent against U.S. nuclear threats.

It's a statement similar to one that China made Thursday.

Beijing called a dual suspension proposal to handle North Korea was the best option

to reduce tensions.

However, U.S. President Donald Trump disagreed.

"President Xi recognizes that a nuclear North Korea is a grave threat to China, and we agreed

that we would not accept a so-called freeze-for-freeze agreement."

North Korea has said it needs to develop its weapons to protect itself from what it sees

as U.S. military aggression.

It also sees U.S.-South Korean military exercises as joint preparations for invasion.

South Korea and the United States, which has about 28,000 troops based in South Korea,

say their exercises are defensive in nature.

At least five people were killed Friday in confrontations between Kenyan police and supporters

of ousted opposition leader Raila Odinga as tensions over disputed presidential elections

continued.

Police fired live rounds and tear gas to prevent Odinga's convoy from making its way from the

airport to Nairobi's main park so he could address supporters after returning from a

trip overseas.

Earlier this week, police warned they would not allow a ceremony to welcome Odinga back

from speaking engagements abroad.

Opposition legislators had urged supporters to come out "more than 1 million strong."

Police said five people were killed by mobs that stoned them to death when they were caught

stealing during the confrontations.

But mortuary attendants and eyewitnesses said police shot them.

The nullification of Kenya's August election was the first time a court in Africa had overturned

a presidential vote.

At least 70 people have died in political unrest since then, the majority opposition

demonstrators shot by police during protests.

Amnesty International alleged Friday that Philippine troops detained and tortured civilians

trying to flee a besieged southern city during a five-month battle with militants loyal to

the Islamic State group.

of the city to rubble.

The United States stopped election support for Cambodia with a promise of more "concrete

steps" after the main opposition party to Prime Minister Hun Sen was banned.

China said it supported Cambodia in following its own path, making no criticism of the government.

Franklin Graham Weighs in, Blasts Those Attacking Roy Moore - TODAY NEWS - Duration: 3:13.

Though much of the media, most Democrats and even plenty of Republicans have joined in

to condemn Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore over decades-old and unverifiable

sexual misconduct allegations, there have been a few who have defended him.

According to the Washington Examiner, one of Moore's defenders is Franklin Graham,

president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and the Samaritan's Purse international

relief organization.

Graham took to Twitter on Friday to post, "The hypocrisy of Washington has no bounds."

"So many denouncing Roy Moore when they are guilty of doing much worse than what he

has been accused of supposedly doing," he added.

"Shame on those hypocrites."

This came just a day after it was revealed that Democrat Minnesota Sen. Al Franken had

sexually assaulted and harassed at least two women within the past 10-15 years.

Franken apologized for his misconduct and agreed to submit himself to a Senate Ethics

Committee investigation, for whatever that is worth.

Graham's tweet also came just two days after it was revealed via the Congressional Office

of Compliance that Congress has been operating — at taxpayer expense — a sort of "slush

fund" used to quietly pay off settlements and rewards for members of Congress and their

staff who were in violation of the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995, according to The

Daily Wire.

At least some of those violation settlements were intended to silence victims of sexual

assault and harassment, and a year-by-year chart dating back to 1997 showed that some

$17 million — again, in taxpayer money — had been paid out.

To be sure, this isn't the first time that Graham has signaled his support for Moore.

In fact, on Thursday Graham posted to his Facebook page a link to Moore's "open

letter" to Fox News host Sean Hannity — and whoever else may be interested — which explained

why he felt he had been targeted by false and politically-motivated attacks on his character,

and why he wouldn't be dropping out of the critical Senate race.

Graham wrote, "I met Roy Moore when I was in Alabama last year, and I talked to him

a few days ago from Norway and asked him if these allegations were true.

He said absolutely not."

"You can read his detailed response for yourself.

My prayer is that the truth will ultimately be revealed and lies will be seen for what

they are," he added.

Franklin Graham is a devout man of God, and he has made it clear that he believes Roy

Moore's assertion of innocence against the slew of unproven and unverifiable, never-heard-before

allegations that have come against him over the past two weeks after 40 years in the public

eye.

Those who are pointing a finger at Moore would be advised to remember that there are fingers

pointing back at them, and they have little room to talk when the cesspool that is Washington,

D.C. is rampant with sexual misconduct and corruption.
