— welcomed 50 wounded service members and veterans to the White House…to kick off

the ninth annual Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Soldier Ride in Washington, D.C.

The four-day cycling event is meant to help wounded service members and veterans overcome

the physical, mental and emotional wounds of war and regain confidence in themselves.

Trump praised the "incredible tradition" for honoring America's "real heroes"

who have sacrificed it all to "keep our people safe and our democracy secure."

"You've earned our freedom with your sweat and your blood.

We salute you, we salute your service," Trump told the warriors.

"I call them America's winners, because they're winners," he added

Trump said he was proud to carry on the tradition of welcoming the event's participants to

the White House – an honor he said he should have for "about seven more years."

The crowd erupted in applause.

Former President Obama's shameful treatment of our men and women in the armed forces stands

in sharp contrast to the way our current president, Donald Trump strives to honor them in every

way he can.

What a huge difference between socialist democrat Obama and constitutional republican Trump!

While Obama showed his contempt for veterans by reducing their pay and retirement pensions

so he could "redistribute" the money to illegal immigrants, Trump is showing his appreciation

for them by revamping the Veterans Administration and his hosting of the Wounded Warrior Project

at the White House.

Trump is the kind of president patriotic Americans want.

Americans know if our armed forces are going to remain a top notch military organization,

they need someone like Trump on their side to make sure they have what they need and

will show them their sacrifices are deeply appreciated.

Obama debased and demoralized our military.

Trump will raise them back up to the status they deserve as the greatest fighting force

this world has ever seen!

Meat dumplings are less chewy than the shrimp dumplings

but it's filled with meat

but the skin outside is still chewy!

I guess everyone has different taste

but I think you should put the dumplings in ramen or steam them!

In that way you can feel the texture of dumpling skin

Lotteria's shrimp burger and McDonald's shrimp burger

You can't really feel the shrimp in Lotteria's burger!

I really like it though because I've been eating it since when I was really young

But the shrimp burger at McDonald's has a lot of shrimps in it!

I really like eating McDonald's shrimp burger because of the texture

and these dumplings are exactly like that!

There are a lot of shrimp meat in here

so I personally recommend shrimp dumplings

Of course these pork dumplings are really nice too!

These shrimps are really big!

Steam Autumn Sale 2017 - Games Under $1 - Duration: 6:42.

hello and welcome to low-budget gaming and welcome to another video on the

steam autumn sale and in this video I'll go over games that are under $1 each so

hopefully you should pick up something interesting here so yeah let's begin

without any delay because there are a lot of games to go through first up an

indie game a point-and-click adventure game with time travel elements the

silent age this is down to 99 cents originally this was a mobile game but it

has been ported over to PC and it seems like a good game its got very positive

reviews so check it out for $0.99 next up a platformer a fun little

platformer this is rocketbirds hard-boiled chicken

so you basically play as a commando chicken and you have to defeat an evil

penguin Empire and this is also playable in co-op this is $0.99 as well another

old game that I keep mentioning often and this is one of my favorites this is

an old RTS game and this is said during the conquest of Gaul basically julius

caesar's campaign in Gaul at the start of the Roman Empire so you basically

have several missions here I think there are total 25 missions and it takes you

in different parts of the world it sort of looks a bit like the old Age of

Empires type games but without any of the city building party so it's just

campaign military campaign so you have a mission you have to sort of take over

parts defeat certain enemies you have different units in your army and you

have to use them depending on the terrain etc so fun little game and this

is only $0.49 I really love this game a car racing game if you don't mind older

graphics this is Ford Racing 3 this is from 2005 so you have a lot of Ford cars

here but its a fun little game I have this and it's right it's not bad if you

played the early Need for Speed games then this will feel very familiar and this is

$0.99 poker night 2 now this is a telltale game I recently bought a humble

bundle which included this game and this was surprisingly fun although I have no

idea how to play poker you have several

characters from many different games you have a claptrap you have Sam from Sam and

max and you have GLaDOS who's sort of the dealer in the game and it's a fun

little poker game a bit of comedy as well and they have their own dialogues

etc so it's interesting check it out if you like poker

Psychonauts a 3d platformer a very popular cult classic basically made by

Tim Schafer's Double Fine productions this was recently free and I made a

video about it as well but if you did not pick it up definitely grab this also

down to $0.99 puzzle agent another telltale game I also got this in the

same bundle I in fact I did a full let's play of this game and so this is a very

unique different funny game you play as Nelson tethers who is a agent in the FBI

Department of puzzle research and he has been sent to a remote location in

Minnesota called Scoggins and he has to unravel the mystery there there's a

factory that has been shut down and he has to figure out what happened there so

very interesting and the gameplay is basically you solve puzzles now most of

the puzzles are fairly easy but still one or two that need a bit of thinking so

fun little game very funny as well it's also a sequel to this so worth checking

out another funny game that I recently did a full let's play as well

this is Frederic resurrection of music now this is a music rhythm game and what

happens in this is you play as Frederic Chopin who has been obviously dead for a

long time but he has been resurrected and he has to face off with modern

musicians in a duel hilariously bad voice-acting but very charming little

game and if you are getting this get director's cut because it has a few more

missions and this is only 50 cents Teslagrad I mentioned this in my

previous video as well this is also a platformer indie and this is got quite a

lot of positive reviews I've heard good things about this so definitely check it

out now some older classics the Legacy of Kain series all of the games are

hundred dollar each so you have four games in the series you have blood omen

2 Soul Reaver and Soul Reaver 2 and legacy of Kain Defiance

all of these are under $1 so if you like your old games adventure action games

and you don't mind the old graphics then definitely check this out one of the

best games ever made in my opinion another car game this is car mechanic

simulator and this is the first game in the series is still quite nice

interesting game this is down to 69 cents and yeah definitely check it out

if you like cars and if you like sort of repairing stuff and all the mechanical

side of things another old game just cause now this is the original Just

Cause game obviously the newer ones are a lot more popular but this is where it

all started so if you haven't tried this out and if you don't mind like I once

again the older graphics definitely check this out this is quite interesting

97 cents another Square Enix game and this is thief gold the original thief

game and if you like stealth games and once again if you don't mind older

graphics and this is the best one out there so this is down to 97 cents again

I believe the second one thief 2 is also 99 cents and so yeah check it out if you

like stealth games now there are a lot of others games in fact Square Enix

seems to have a lot of games that are very cheap or like under a dollar the

early Tomb Raider games are also under a dollar so you can check that out as well

if you haven't played them and you would like to try them and finally portal now

portal is one of the best first-person puzzle games out there and this is down

to 99 cents the second portal is also on a discount I think $1.99 $2 per is

out if you haven't played it yet basically during these sort of sales

most of the early Valve games are under $1 so all the half-life games are

under a dollar portal 1 is under a dollar I believe the left 4 dead games also $1 or below

so most of the time they are heavily discounted so you can always pick them

up in a different sale if you don't want to pick them up this time but yeah I

definitely play these games they're all pretty good and yeah worth the money

definitely for this price so those are some of my suggestions ideas for games

under a dollar if you have any more cool games under a dollar

Do You Ever Wonder What It Truly Means To Be Successful?

Let me share with you all today a quick story about myself.

Growing up, my the greatest measure of success was my grades, how well I did in Maths, English

and other subjects.

Even until early this year when I was applying for graduate positions, I couldn't help but

compare myself to people who had supposedly scored a better role/higher paying role

But here's the problem - if we keep comparing ourselves to others we're simply catching

moving targets.

What I mean is that you'll keep chasing after achievements set by others and as a result

you're following a pathway that is ALSO set by others without ever really following your own.

So then - what can we do? Focus on yourself for a moment and don't worry about what other

people are achieving.

You might have that friend who seems to have everything together, or that elder brother

who is incredibly successful.

But I urge you.

Find the time to set goals for yourself.

I know it's hard but give it a go.

For example with myself personally, I want to establish myself as a Youtuber and Influencer.

Does this mean I'm setting the goal of become the #1 Youtuber or that I need to beat people like

Richard Branson in terms of influence or wealth?

No not really.

But rather I want to create the best influential content that I can by myself and for myself.

And who knows, it could lead to bigger things.

But by doing so I feel content and a sense of success.

It can be hard distinguishing setting goals/targets for yourself at first when all our lives we've

been measuring our success against others but I promise you, you will start to achieve

far more things when you aren't following a designated pathway set by others.

Hi, this is Beau Baez, and today I want to explain, in simple terms, intervening causes.

As you know, a person that commits a wrongful act and is the actual cause of the act must

also be the proximate cause of the harm to be held liable.

But sometimes, a court or jury might find that the wrongdoer is not liable because the

type of injury was unforeseeable or there was an unforeseeable intervening event.

In this episode I want to explore intervening events.

An intervening cause is something that comes between the tortfeasor's act and the harm.

For example, Joe is driving down the road at a speed that is far above the speed limit.

Suddenly, an animal runs into the road, Joe swerves his car, and Joe hits Rob's car.

The animal running into the road is an intervening event.

Now t here are two types of intervening events.

First is the unforeseeable intervening event, which is more commonly called a superseding

intervening event.

A superseding intervening event breaks the causal link between the defendant's act

and the plaintiff's injury.

Second is the foreseeable intervening event, which is an intervening event that does not

break the causal link between the defendant's act and the plaintiff's injury.

Going back to our example with Joe, who was speeding down the road, it is likely that an animal

darting into the road is a foreseeable event, and that Joe will be liable for Rob's damages.

Suppose though, that instead of a darting animal, a stranger, takes his gun, and shoots at Joe's car,

and a tire blows out, and Joe hits Rob's car.

Now under these facts, the gun shot is a superseding event that relieves Joe of his negligent driving.

Acts of nature can be a superseding event if the event is unforeseen.

For example, strong winds that knock down power lines are generally not superseding intervening

events because strong winds occur from time to time.

But suppose that very light winds knock down some power lines, then it very well could be a superseding

intervening event because power lines, just should not fall down with light winds.

Criminal acts can also be a superseding event, but again, courts look at the unforeseeability

of the act.

For example, Mariah keeps some jewels in the Bank's safety deposit box.

Thieves break in and steal the jewels.

When Mariah sues the bank for negligent security, the bank argues that the criminal was a superseding

intervening event that breaks the causal link.

Unfortunately, it is foreseeable that a thief would attempt to break into the bank, therefore

the thief is a foreseeable intervening event that does not break the causal link.

What you need to remember is that the words foreseeable and unforeseeable are conclusions.

What happens in real life is that the judge or jury listens to the facts and then makes a decision for or against the plaintiff

on proximate cause.

In close cases, one judge or jury will find the event is foreseeable, while a completely different

judge or jury hearing the same facts will find the event is unforeseeable.

So on an exam you just need to pick a side based on the facts you've been given.

What the grader is looking for is your analysis of the facts, not your conclusion.

In other words, you must provide your reasons for deciding that the event was foreseeable

or not.

So, when you read the facts, go with your gut reaction on this issue and then support

your gut reaction with facts and logical reasoning.

Don't worry if you're not sure what the grader wants.

The "right" answer is one where you spot the intervening event issue, discuss the law,

and then provide your reasons for picking one side over the other.

As Military Hero Sang The National Anthem Fans Immediately Watched The Disgusting Display On - Duration: 4:36.

As the boycott of the National Football League picks up steam, the spotlight on the players

who are protesting the National Anthem keeps getting brighter.

Even though their protest is on the verge of bankrupting the NFL, the league has decided

that it won't put a stop to their disrespect, that this is the one area where the players

will have free reign.

Despite what is being said by the players (that the protest is meant as no disrespect

toward the military or those who have served in the past) it's hard not to see this as

a slap in the face to everything patriotic.

The entire premise of the protest is to draw attention to what they're calling a broken

system.

They're saying that the country is, as a whole, racist and that police are targeting

the black community.

Since most of their former fans don't agree, or at least don't appreciate the protest,

everyone at the NFL's jobs hangs in the balance.

What the NFL needs right now is some good press, but with players like New York Giants

Olivier Vernon around, they're not about to get it.

Vernon, like many other players, insists that he means no disrespect to the military, but

his actions at a game on Thanksgiving would say otherwise.

The defensive end knelt while the anthem was being sung by a military hero just before

the Giants game against the Washington Redskins, and people aren't happy about it.

This shouldn't come as any great surprise though since Vernon recently told Newsday

that he planned to keep kneeling until he feels that his cause has been made right.

No word on what that will look like, or it's ETA, but until then, Vernon will be kneeling:

"Vernon is the only Giants player who continues to protest during the national anthem, and

he plans to do so for the foreseeable future.

Still hoping to raise awareness about social injustice and racial inequality in America,

the defensive end will not relent in the face of criticism that continues to come his way

from fans who believe he is disrespecting the military by not standing for the anthem.

'What it would take for me to stand is if people can understand what the whole message

is behind it,' Vernon told Newsday.

'That would actually help a whole lot, but everybody doesn't see things that way and

tries to distort what the message was from the beginning, which is basically social injustice

on African-Americans and police brutality.'

Vernon understands that not everyone respects his decision to take a knee, but he remains

convinced that the best way to draw attention to the issues he's most concerned about

is to continue his form of protest.

Would there ever come a time that he would stand for the anthem?

'Unless we can work something out and find the solution and try to address what the real

issue is,' he said, 'I'll continue to take a knee.

I really don't care what people outside have to say.

I just believe in what's right and what's wrong, and I'm going to show support for

what I believe in.'

Vernon said he continues to be criticized for not standing but that he tries to ignore

most of it.

'I get [criticism] all the time,' he said.

'If it was anything that actually bothered me, I would care.

There's stuff that some people say that comes out of their mouth that is just ignorant

and uneducated, so I just keep it moving and I don't really address anything anybody

has to say.

If they can't come at me on something intellectual, then I don't have a response for you.'

He also isn't concerned by the recent television ratings decline, at least some of which has

been attributed to fans being turned off by the anthem protests.

'At the end of the day, there's a First Amendment right as an American citizen,'

Vernon said.

'You have a right to protest peacefully.

Protests aren't supposed to be comfortable.

Some people aren't going to understand.'"

At the end of the day, he shows up for work and puts on a uniform just like millions of

other people.

And just like the rest of us, he has to do what his boss says, or he'll lose his job.

If his boss says that it's ok to kneel on the job, then he can do it, but if his boss

says he has to stand while working, then he'd better stand.

And if that company goes out of business because it's employees have made themselves so unpleasant,

and the owner refused to ask them to stop being unpleasant or fire them when they didn't,

then both he, and the owner will be out of work.

None of that has anything to do with the constitution; it has to do with how a free market works

in a free country, like the one we live in, and the one that our military veterans have

fought and died for.

Call me old-fashioned, but I think that deserves enough respect to stand for a few moments,

once per game

Oscar Pistorius Released From Prison; Olympian Served Less Than One Year For Murder of Reeva Steenkamp

In October of 2014, Oscar Pistorius was sentenced to five years in prison after being found guilty of shooting and killing his 29-year-old model girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.

Today, less than one year later, Pistorius is a free man, having been secretively released from prison late last night in order to avoid media attention.

Pistorius will now serve a four-year house arrest sentence at his uncles palatial mansion in Johannesburg.

Pistorius was originally slated to be released in August, but angry letters from hundreds of outraged South Africans - including Steenkamps grieving parents - persuaded the nations justice minister to hold him for another two months.

"We have forgiven Mr Pistorius, read the letter from Steenkamps parents. However, a person found guilty of a crime must be accountable for their actions.

Incarceration of 10 months for taking a life is simply not enough.".

A lawyer for the family says the Steenkamps are still angry, and still believe that justice was not served.

Pistorius was found guilty of culpable homicide, which is comparable to manslaughter in the US justice system.

The sprinter - nicknamed Blade Runner by fans - earned international fame after becoming the first double-amputee to participate in the Olympics.

Many believe Pistorius received preferential treatment from the South African justice system.
